Hotel Boscolo Exedra Nice is a belle epoque-style hotel that underwent a top-notch restoration in 2023, resulting in ultra-polished rooms and suites. The lobby and guest rooms exude an otherworldly feel with white-on-white decor, designer furniture, and striking artworks. The Italian restaurant offers fine dining with a great terrace, while the basement houses a striking spa with luxurious amenities.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, as we visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel truly special. We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade, and the birthday surprise waiting for us in the room was a thoughtful and memorable touch. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations—one of the best we’ve had in all our travels. The restaurant also impressed us with its delicious dishes and great service. Above all, the staff truly made the experience exceptional with their warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely return in the future. Our only regret is not having had the chance to try the wellness facilities, which we’ve heard great things about—but hopefully, next time!

We stayed here for 8 days. We were suppose to only stay for 6 and go somewhere else but we found it so easy to get everywhere from this location we stayed for the duration of the trip. Room was a great size, bed comfortable, impeccably clean. The gym isn’t huge but everything you need, the spa was actually pretty nice. The rooftop pool was ok but it’s a great spot for a beverage and cool view. Location is great. Just a couple blocks from the craziness so it’s quiet and a nice short walk to cafes and the sea. Right by great shopping and blocks away from old city. Staff were overly accommodating and super helpful. We would stay here again

A fantastic place to stay in Nice. The hotel lobby is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, the pool has a fun vibe with great music, and the rooms are very spacious. They have nice little finishing touches like macaroons as a welcome treat. Spa is included in your stay. The location is great and makes it very easy to walk around Nice. Highly recommend for your stay here!

We had a wonderful time staying here. My wife and I ended our time in France in Nice and Hotel Boscolo was the only hotel in our whole trip to make our honeymoon feel special! It is in a great location for access to the train station, and is also walking distance to other public transportation options, with a light rail station with service to the airport essentially right outside! We would definitely stay again.
Raymond T — Google review
Stayed two nights prior to getting on a cruise ship. Its a lovely hotel and the decor is spectacular and and somewhat unusual. Rooftop bar has a lovely view, lobby is picture-worthy, restaurant had really great food and morning breakfast was very nice. Service was impeccable--especially given that the cruise people had forgotten my luggage in the transfer and a wonderful hotel staff member (Sulliman?) called me on my cell hours later (and luckily before the ship had sailed) to notify me that my luggage was still at the hotel and was under his safe-keeping. Nowadays it's refreshing to have employees take ownership (and not ignore) problems that could end in disaster for travelers--and i GREATLY appreciate that effort.
Marilyn K — Google review
Beautiful building but the superior room was smaller than expected and there is no privacy for the toilet or shower. You are using the toilet in full sound/view of anyone else in the room. Reception and staff were very kind but gave incorrect directions to a train station and could not recommend a restaurant within walking distance. The service at the rooftop pool was awful.. 30 minutes to get a drink with no other guests. I would not recommend this place for a luxury vacation.
Ellie C — Google review
We stayed for a week. The rooms are clean. The hotel entrance smells like a bad pool. Unfortunately, you can never reach anyone if you call reception or housekeeping. We had to ask for things several times. It does not feel like a 5 star hotel at all and is way overpriced.
Mila S — Google review
Staff was AWESOME! Lobby, roof, outside all looked and were beautiful. The room was tired, looked rather worn out and had no place to unpack for the deluxe terrace room we booked. The Reception, Concierge, Valet, Bellmen were all very very helpful prior to our stay and during it. The location was great and we are glad we stayed there.

The Westminster Hotel & Spa in Nice is a luxurious and historic hotel located on the iconic Promenade des Anglais. The hotel boasts a neo-classical facade that hides a recently renovated interior, blending its rich history with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy local specialties at the Le Duc restaurant and relax at the sea-view terraces or the colonial-style W Bar. The SPA 27 offers thalassotherapy treatments, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and counter-current pool for relaxation.
I visited here last week with my daughter. We had a spa day to start and it was excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to several beaches, restaurants and shopping! Our room overlooked the sea and you are able to open your window. The view in the day and especially in the evening is incredible. It is worth the upgrade. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is beautiful with its own spectacular view. Even cappuccinos are included! I’d like to mention Lisa at reception as she was particularly helpful and very accommodating when we needed assistance. Thank you Lisa! I would highly recommend this hotel and stay here again!

A fantastic hotel with an unbeatable location, open your window and the stunning Côte d’Azur is right there before your eyes. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service. A special thank you to Vincent for the impeccable luggage assistance; your warm hospitality alone deserves five stars. Looking forward to our next stay!

We traveled from the United States for a week vacation and cannot express how great this hotel was! The location on the water obviously speaks for itself. However, the staff was extremely friendly and the room was nice, clean, and well-equipped with AC & hot water. Five Stars all around!!
Sydney W — Google review
I can’t begin to describe the nightmare this hotel is. From the beginning of the check-in process to the check-out (which we decided to do two days earlier). My husband and I booked this hotel assuming we would have an enjoyable stay. It’s our first time traveling with our three month old baby. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming when they found out we have a baby. We had called them and asked them to make accommodations for our baby but they missed the memo and acted surprised when we showed up with him. They then decided to give us one of the worst rooms they probably have at this establishment. It was old, musty, dirty and had little fruit flies everywhere. To make things worse the AC was not working properly. They sent people to fix it WHILE MY BABY WAS NAPPING. They pulled out the filter which looked like it has not been replaced in over 20 years. I’m sure this is a major health code violation. They did not try to put us in a different room or even offer anything for the inconvenience. We have decided to leave this hotel two days early and check into a different much cleaner hotel. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice vacation.
Tala A — Google review
Very rude and not welcoming. We had a reservation at Westminster Hotel in Nice and arrived with our kids. At first, they said they could add a rollaway bed, but then changed their mind and insisted we upgrade to a suite. I checked both the room and the suite — neither was in good condition. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, and the whole experience was stressful and unpleasant. Definitely not the level of hospitality you would expect. It’s not worth the price at all!
Alireza K — Google review
My trip was canceled at no fault of my own. I contacted the hotel and they refused to provide refund. Expedia contacted them independently on my behalf as well. They continued to refused a refund. As a business owner, I always take care of my customers and refund their money for any reason at all. This is good customer service. The customer should always be first and taken care of no matter the reason.

Excellent location to see sunrise and sunset. Restaurant and bar have beautiful views. Also enjoyed the seagulls sharing my croissants this morning. Had a fabulous time close to all out tours on e-bikes and the drive to Monaco.

Thought this hotel would be a great chic French 4 star hotel. Arrived at a very dated hotel, missing little details that would have made the stay better. firstly!! You have to pay €35 to use the swimming pool and facilities!! Where in the world do you have to pay on top of your hotel room fee ?! Ruined my stay. Shower was pathetic pressure. No conditioner for hair. Hairdryer blew up and I’m still sat here with soaking wet hair waiting for technician to check it’s broken?! Rubbish facilities have ruined my dinner plans. Don’t bother staying here unless you’re 60+ stay somewhere modern.

The Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel is a luxurious 5-star hotel located in the heart of Nice, France. It offers stunning views from its rooftop terrace, where guests can enjoy panoramic vistas of the Southern Alps, Old Nice, and the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel's rooftop bar provides an ideal vantage point for observing events such as the Nice Carnaval and the Nice Jazz Festival. With retractable windows, guests can enjoy these views even on colder days.
This is a beautiful 5 star hotel, very clean, very classy! We were very impressed! Concierge took our suitcases for us and at check in we were given complimentary welcome drinks. We were shown to our room, which was beautifully decorated, plenty of room and a massive shower. Breakfast was in the Skybar, where the view is spectacular, the breakfast was delicious with a large and varied choice of high quality food! A special mention to Youssef and Mounira who were so kind and welcoming to us, they are both a credit to the hotel. All staff were respectful and polite, standing aside to let ud pass and opening doors for us. Drinks in the Skybar were a little overpriced but the ambience and views make it worthwhile. Would highly recommend this hotel, first class!

Stayed for a night and the hotel is very nice. Rooms are great, very clean and size is decent. The bed was very comfortable and the shower has good pressure. Our room had a balcony too, with stunning views over the sea. The only thing we didn't like was that we were woken up twice in the morning when housekeeping was knocking on the door despite the "do not disturb" clearly being on. Also, our room key cards stopped working before the check out time at 12, which we were too impressed with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel Our stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice was simply perfect. The hotel excels in every aspect — spotless cleanliness, beautiful and refined décor, warm lighting, and outstanding comfort throughout. The atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy the stunning location by the sea. The breakfast was absolutely spectacular, with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality products. And I must highlight the eggs Benedict — truly the best I’ve ever had in my life! A special mention goes to Mathilde, who provided us with exceptional service — professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her exquisite manner and thoughtful attention made our experience unforgettable. A truly outstanding hotel that embodies the very best of hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful city break in Nice. Really helpful and friendly staff throughout the hospital. The sky bar has exceptional views over the Mediterranean. The staff in this bar are knowledgeable of local wines and want the experience of being here one to remember. Breakfast is in this bar and should NOT be missed. Fantastic. Thank you Elina for making breakfast one to remember.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful hotel! We had an 8 month old with us and all of the waiters/waitresses were amazing at keeping him entertained at breakfast and dinner. The hotel couldn’t do enough for us! Location was brilliant to be able to explore both the city and the old town. Shout out to Elina and Tao! The only downer was that we didn’t realize the spa wasn’t included, it would be help if that was a bit clearer. But still a pleasant experience and worth doing it for some ‘me’ time!
Naomi R — Google review
I recently stayed at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel and had a truly memorable experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location and a luxurious atmosphere that made my visit to Nice even more special. Upon check-in, I did encounter a couple of issues. The shower drainage was initially blocked, and the overall cleanliness of the room could have been better. However, I was very impressed by how quickly and professionally the staff addressed the situation. Once notified, the team responded promptly and rectified everything to a high standard, which really reflects their commitment to guest satisfaction. Aside from that, the service throughout my stay was excellent, attentive, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. The dining options were also fantastic, and the views from the rooftop are not to be missed. Despite the minor hiccup at the beginning, the way it was handled made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and would happily recommend Anantara Plaza Nice to others looking for a luxurious and well-managed stay in the heart of the French Riviera

Elina was absolutely amazing during our stay in France. She greeted us with a big smile, was very attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable and cared for the whole time. She offered great suggestions from the menu and made our meal feel like a special occasion. We’re so grateful for her kindness and wonderful service!

Le Windsor Jungle Art Hotel is a unique and trendy hideaway nestled in a tropical garden, offering contemporary rooms and traditional dining options. The hotel features art-filled spaces with mythological frescoes and whimsical works by various artists. Guests can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine made from local and organic ingredients, influenced by flavors and techniques from the chef's travels around the world. The hotel's excellent service, central location near the beach, and lush garden make it an ideal retreat.
We had a great three nights here. Staff were friendly and happy to help with anything needed. Garden and pool area are beautiful and a little retreat from bustling Nice. Our room was a good size for us and our toddler, with fun design of stars on the ceiling and a plane flying from the corner. Looked out over the garden and pool and woke to the sound of birds in the morning. The hotel is in a really good location - close to the beach and the old town, with plenty of great restaurants nearby too.
Paul A — Google review
It is a nice enough hotel for a 3 star hotel. Absolutely not worthy of 4 stars. The hotel desperately needs a thorough renovation. The ambiance is nice, they try to create an artsy- art deco kind of vibe, which I like, however everything is very old and poorly maintained. In a 4 star hotel I expect some level of service but no one even showed us where the elevator was or helped getting our luggage up to the room. The room was so old- there was an old shower curtain, very old fashion and uncomfortable, 2 lights didn’t work (they did repair it when we told them about it) which tells me also that housekeeping does not pay attention. Again, not the level of a 4 star hotel. The price of the room was therefore excessive. Should have been ⅓ of the price for what you receive. The location is great. The garden is nice. Beds are good. If they do a complete renovation then it’ll be a wonderful hotel with a nice ambiance.
Mirla V — Google review
Decent hotel in a great location! I would rate a 3 star, it was perfect for us a group of 4 friends to use as a base. The rooms were ok and provided everything we needed. Pretty basic but we were just there to sleep. Did not use the pool or have any food at the hotel but the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and the location was great. Easy to walk to the Promenade within 8-10 minutes and the train station in 10-12. Nice area, felt safe at all times. Many bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries and everything you need on the doorstep. Good value for the location.

The Windsor Jungle Art Hotel was a great spot for visiting Nice. Close to the promenade and in the Carré D’or neighborhood. The staff is very accommodating and serves a nice breakfast in the garden. Comfortable rooms with large tubs are available. You can get a voucher for the beach club and even a massage can be arranged for rejuvenation! Tréy bien!

My partner and I were so excited to stay at this hotel, and while the staff was friendly, the rest of the experience was a letdown, especially for the $660 we paid for three nights. Our room felt old. Not Like The Pics online at all. The window blinds had a bizarre yellow tint, which didn't feel very clean. The electrical outlet next to the bed was a bit loose, so my phone didn't charge overnight, which was really frustrating. The gym was just okay. The machine was broken, and there was a drip of water from an open window. The biggest disappointment was the towels. We asked for two, and both were incredibly dirty with yellow stains. The shower was basic. While the reception staff was welcoming. The location was great, but unfortunately, that was the only positive thing about our stay.

Fabulous location. Rooms clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to be obliging. The food and service were very good. The pool and outdoor eating area are worth a booking on their own. We shall definitely book here again. Fantastic service 👏 👌

Surrender by beautiful trees and plants, atmospheric hotel, very conveniently located, lovely, clean, and a good value for money. I wish they have more rooms available when we were visiting Nice, so we could stay there longer and with our children as well.
Agata P — Google review
The hotel has some great features, notably the garden, pool and art. Also secure parking. And obviously a great location. But the bathroom didn't meet our expectations for 4* and needs renovation and in the meantime, a deep clean. It would also be helpful to have a sign from the parking to indicate that you have to walk back out onto the street then all the way round the block to access the hotel. It's quite confusing otherwise.

Its spa provides a serene retreat with massages, treatments, hammams, and Jacuzzis. With over 130 high-end rooms and suites, Hôtel Splendid has been accommodating tourists for generations and is part of the Warwick collection.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Splendid. We were lucky and was assigned room 510 which was comfortable and had the added bonus of a balcony. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Location is fantastic for exploring all of Nice with 2 tram stops within close walking distance. The rooftop bar and pool is a lovely area to relax. Check in is from 3 pm and check out is 12 pm. If I am in Nice again would love to come back and stay.

This hotel is amazing! The rooftop pool and hot tub allow for the most amazing view. All the waiters we encountered were kind and accommodating, and Romeo made sure we enjoyed our time there. The breakfast is very good and diverse. We will come back!
Sabina S — Google review
The rooms were very dated. Definitely not a 4 star hotel - would rate it as a 3 star. The room was nothing like the website picture. When I told the staff this, she just agreed , but insisted we had the correct room. The shower was smaller than a cruise line shower, and this was meant to be their deluxe double room. This hotel is way overpriced for the quality and standard of the deluxe room.
Vivian A — Google review
We stayed in the middle of May. The hotel was clean and neat. The reception staff were fine, but the gentleman boss could benefit from being a bit more friendlier. We had a twin room, which was clean, fresh and ample for our 5-day visit. There was a rather odd sliding door/window that we had to open which led to a strange 2-foot carpeted area and then windows to open and get fresh air. Breakfast was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed that it set us up for our day of sightseeing beauty Nice. The breakfast staff were hardworking and deserve praise for their work. I'd recommend it as it was in an ideal position for the beach, trains/trams.

Unfair €498 Charge and Zero Customer Care. Our flight to Nice was cancelled less than three hours before departure due to force majeure. I immediately contacted the Splendid Hotel to explain the situation and requested either a refund or at least a voucher for a future stay. Their single reply was a curt email declining any flexibility, attaching the invoice, and suggesting I seek reimbursement from the airline—which of course is impossible in this case. They even added that my request could not be accepted because I was “outside the free cancellation period (until 24:00 the day before).” Technically correct, but completely tone-deaf given that the flight cancellation was entirely beyond our control. Since that email, my follow-up messages asking for a simple voucher have gone unanswered. We never checked in, never used a single service, and it wasn’t even peak season, yet the hotel kept €500. Travel disruptions happen, but how a hotel handles them shows its standards. Unfortunately, the Splendid Hotel chose rigid policies and silence over basic customer service. Think twice before booking here—many other Nice hotels show far more integrity and emphaty.
Valentina B — Google review
We were offered access to the Splendid Hotel's rooftop bar and pool as part of our accommodation deal at a nearby hotel. We've only been there twice due to the overwhelming putrid smell - not sure if grey water, blocked drain, gas or sewerage but it was very unpleasant. You can smell it from the footpath outside the hotel as well. Past reviews indicate that this has been a problem for at least two years but, it seems, it's not been addressed.

I do not recommend this hotel at all !! It’s a scam! The rooms are not as shown in the pictures, they are completely different, even though we booked a junior suite!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL . The pool is dirty and small and the jacuzzi is so tiny(max 2ppl) that there’s a queue to go there. The furniture is VERY old and there is no window in the bathroom, which is completely different from the pictures. We tried several times to speak with the director and the receptionists always found excuses to do not let us talk to him ( 100% they were told to do so ). Since refund is not possible, they really do not care. Don’t fall for this trap ! A lot of people fell in this trap but abandoned their complaint because everything is made to make you abandon your complaint ( receptionists do not collaborate, no director available, no refund, no respond to emails,… ) . Please do not book this hotel, you will thank me later.

Very good two night stay and would recommend! No issues and everything went smoothly. View of the water was amazing and rooftop restaurant/bar/pool was a great perk. Location was great, right across from beach and five minutes walk to old town. Check in and check out very easy. Breakfast was included with status - plenty of variety and was pretty good.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights - ocean view room. It’s perfect. The room was clean, probably recently remodeled because the room furniture and bathroom were in very good condition. All pretty new. The view of the blue ocean is breathtaking. Staff were very friendly. Valet/bellman friendly and quickly brought our luggage in the room and our car when we needed. They serve breakfast on the first floor - same level of the reception area, breakfast with great variety of food, excellent as well. The roof top restaurant has a beautiful view of Nice, it’s a must go. The location is perfect. Walking distance feom shops, restaurants, cafes and right access the street from the Promenade of the Anglais. What else do you need? Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

A local icon with excellent service, amazing location, and breathtaking views given you get the nicer rooms. We celebrated our wedding there and the entire staff was great, especially Armelle who helped plan everything. Definitely recommend for a memorable stay and a true French Riviera experience.

What a great experience here !! We stayed for a few nights here and it was amazing. Location is great 💯 2 mins walk to the water for swimming and sunbathing every morning and afternoon. If you drive, there's a parking lot underneath the hotel. Close to all the major landmarks. All within walking distance. A very elegant and well appointed property in a central location. Rooms are very clean and neat. Great sunset view. Super friendly staff as well. Breakfast is top-notch. Highly recommended ♥️

Our stay at Le Méridien Nice was a memorable one. The location is unbeatable—right on the Promenade des Anglais with stunning views of the sea and just a short walk from the old town, shops, and restaurants. The rooftop terrace is a highlight, perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great bed and a spacious bathroom. We especially appreciated the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean—it made mornings and evenings feel extra special. Service was professional and courteous throughout. The front desk staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations and made check-in and check-out smooth. Housekeeping was consistent, though there’s always room for a bit more attention to detail. We’ve stayed in several hotels in Nice, and this one remains a favorite for its combination of location, comfort, and views. It’s not the cheapest option, but the experience and setting make it worth it. Looking forward to coming back.

Our stay at Le Méridien was absolutely wonderful. The people here are incredibly kind and the service is truly top-notch. Even though Berlin airport lost our luggage, the staff went above and beyond to make the situation easier for us. They took the time to explain where we could find good stores nearby for toiletries and clothing, which was such a thoughtful touch and made a stressful situation so much better. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel so well taken care of — highly recommend Le Méridien for anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

Location was great. However, it was near a busy intersection, and French police always uses silent when driving anywhere! There was siren noise all hours of the day. Someone need to tell them, they don't need a siren most of the time! You much check out the beautiful room top restaurant at night for an incredible views.

We stayed a nice couple of days in October 2025, room was okay but no view and overlooked by other room as we had the inside room, comfy king bed, air con a bit loud despite putting the setting on the lowest fan speed. Location is super, just by the French Riviera at the beach, in Nice. The breakfast was great, staff many were super friendly and helpful, the receptionist however, was rushing to give us all the information but we understood that they had a group and we checked in on Saturday, but we found this rushing unwelcoming to be honest. We were a bit disappointed as this on the beach hotel, didn’t have any beach belong to the hotel so no free sun beds to relax or to bath at the beach in front of the Le Meridien, also no sun beds by the pool on the top floor but only chairs on a very narrow area by the pool where the customers of the restaurant/cafe on the terrace are setting right next to you, so again no relaxing atmosphere by the pool or by the beach which was a huge downside. Hence why I only rated it at 3 stars! Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel and I’d stay again. In fact, we tried to extend one more night at the same offer but it was not possible so we booked another night in another hotel nearby as weather was fantastic. 5 stars for the location though by the beach and by the town centre, Parking is 32.50 euros per day just in case someone wants to know.

Radisson Hotel Nice Airport is a convenient choice for travelers with its 24/7 gym, airport shuttle, and seasonal pool. The hotel's recent refurbishment ensures a fresh atmosphere throughout. While the fitness suite is small, the spacious superior rooms offer comfortable beds. Guests can enjoy local favorites at LAbeille and Casa Musa to experience Nice's vibrant food scene.
This is a great hotel if you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable and modern hotel to Nice airport. We were upgraded to a more premium room on arrival and the room was great! Very spacious. Huge, comfy bed. Nice bathroom. All very modern. Would definitely recommend. Easy access to the train station and to local buses and trams. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we always ate out.

The stay here was phenomenal! Rooms were clean and very aesthetic and the breakfast add on I got was worth it! Pauline and Mary were very kind and helpful to give me all the information I needed for my stay as well. The walk is very close to Terminal 1 only took me about 8-10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again :)

Stayed here after my flight home was cancelled. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, rooms were lovely and exceptionally clean. Bar area was open until late and also had a lovely pool area for relaxing at the next day whilst waiting for my new flight. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel, very convenient – just a 3-minute from the airport (possible to reach even on foot), which was perfect for our trip. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. I 100% recommend it to anyone looking for convenience without giving up good service!

If you want to stay at a hotel near the airport – I would never recommend this one. 1. The rooms are old, worn out, and shabby. 2. There’s a terrible smell in the rooms. 3. The water is heavy and also smells bad. 4. The staff is unfriendly. 5. The “gym” here is just in name only. Don’t even bother bringing your workout clothes – a real disappointment. 6. Breakfast is very limited, and if you’re lactose- or gluten-intolerant, you’ll be left hungry. Even the restaurant situation was disappointing: lunch ends at 14:00. We arrived at 14:04, and the restaurant staff told us we could only order drinks. They didn’t even want to prepare a simple cheese plate. An hour later, we saw a couple sitting in the restaurant enjoying their meal. Very strange attitude. At the reception, nobody cared and simply told us to speak with the restaurant directly, even though the restaurant is part of the hotel. Of course, French Riviera is not like the rest of Europe, but still, service and hospitality could definitely be improved. If you arrive and just need to spend a night near the airport – definitely choose the Crowne Plaza instead. We stayed there last time and really liked it.

Nestled in a charming part of the city, Hôtel Villa Rose is a delightful retreat that perfectly blends comfort and character. This recently renovated three-star hotel features 11 spacious rooms, some adorned with elegant stone fireplaces and mini-fridge bars. Guests can enjoy serene views of the beautifully maintained garden from their windows, while private bathrooms boast luxurious spa bathtubs and top-notch cleanliness.
Very well located for a city hotel - close enough to the centre to walk everywhere, or catch the frequent trams: but we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night. Very little "city" noise reached us. Trams, buses and trains are all very easily accessed (but beware of last train time at night). We very much enjoyed our stay, and we found the hosts to be very helpful and communicative (despite my very weak French skills!) Garden is a bonus.

Me and my friends we are from the uk every time we make a holiday together we always go to Nice and always stay at the Hotel Villa Rose it was great location for you etc. So many good restaurants around, really clean and safe area. About the hotel i have no words the rooms are so clean and modern look otherwise owner and staffs they are so friendly and helpful as well it makes you feel like your home . Unbelievable the breakfast was so delicious . That is the reason we kept coming back every year for couple of days for relaxation.

We had the best time at Hotel Villa Rose. The service was wonderful, the people are so warm, the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for us, we never used the public transit and instead walked into town which took about 20 minutes, but there is a tram stop just a minute away from the hotel. The best part was the garden where you can sit and relax, and also enjoy your breakfast.

A beautiful, lovingly furnished small hotel in a central yet quiet location in Nice with a wonderful garden where breakfast is served with delicious treats. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel owners and felt completely at ease. Parking spaces for cars and storage facilities for bicycles are also available. Thank you very much for the wonderful time with you, we recommend your hotel wholeheartedly Peggy and Uwe

Villa Rose is a wonderful place to stay! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes you feel at home right away. The interior is stylish and comfortable, and the breakfast is simply awesome – generous, fresh, and a great way to start the day. Considering the quality of the experience, it’s also excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

This so called hotel villa Rosa was absolutely vile. The room was dirty, the sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed in weeks, and worst of all, the bed was crawling with bedbugs. I was bitten all night and couldn’t sleep a single hour. This place should be shut down for health violations. It’s not just uncomfortable — it’s unsafe. I regret ever booking here, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

This place is a total disgrace. The room was filthy beyond belief, and to top it off, it was infested with bedbugs. I left covered in bites and disgusted that I even set foot inside. This isn’t just bad management it’s pure neglect. No traveler deserves to go through this kind of nightmare. Honestly, it felt more like a health hazard than a hotel.

Hôtel Nice Riviera is a laid-back hotel located in central Nice, just 550 yards from Place Massena and Vieux Nice. The rooms are warm and inviting, featuring minibars and free WiFi. The hotel offers amenities such as a sauna, spa, hot tub, fitness center, and bicycle rental. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool as well as the breakfast room and lounge bar on site. The environmentally friendly bamboo parquet flooring adds character to the modern furnishings in the rooms.
This is truly a 4-star hotel, but out of 10 points at best. As soon as I entered, I found the bed was sunken, and the towel rack in the bathroom was also broken. The shower area doesn’t even have a proper door, so every time you take a shower, water floods into the room and even the hallway outside. When I reported this to the front desk staff, they told me that this normally doesn’t happen. I asked if they wanted to come upstairs and see for themselves, but they refused and said they would just have housekeeping clean it up. This clearly shows that the issue is a common complaint. Honestly, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life — even worse than a Motel 6 in the U.S.
Zhuobin L — Google review
The hotel is located in a very good place close to most places you want to visit in Nice. This hotel have a good looking facade and lobby but I would only class this hotel as a two star hotel for now. The hotel had a long dark hallway on your way to your room which lights up with sensors, the cabin and sliding mirror in the room was pretty worn out and didn't open and close smoothly. We even found ants crawling around in the rooms hallway and bathroom floor.
Hu L — Google review
3/5 stars. The best thing about this hotel is the location, it’s the perfect spot to see all of Nice’s best attractions. It felt safe and the staff was friendly. There is AC, however, I found the room still hot so we had to request a fan, but most ACs may be like this in France, I’m not sure. We had to ask the staff to clean the room as we left and returned and it was not cleaned. The worst part of this hotel in my opinion is the shower. I don’t know why the shower was made the way it was, it is halfway open with no way to close and the half part that blocks has a big gap so water gets all over the floor, after each shower I had to wipe the floors. They charge customers to use the pool & sauna which I find odd. It was an overall decent stay, some improvements needed I say 3 stars at best.
Chelsey — Google review
The hotel is okay, but I wouldn’t characterize it as a 4 star hotel. Too many broken and worn out issues eg tap in shower broken, hooks missing in order to get high ratings from my side. They have succeeded in upgrading the rooms (with click on floorboards on top of the old carpets) and bathrooms (with marble flooring and tiles). We had a family room with two double beds which was spacious and with enough room for luggage. The breakfast was ok, but the facilities were terrible due to acoustics. For that reason we decided only to eat there one day out of three. The pool was a great treat after busy days around the city, but the sea is of course the star of the area.
Camilla M — Google review
Big rooms, great AC, came with all the facilities listed. Hotel is a little dated & in need of updating, but nothing terrible. No issues with the cleanliness & staff on reception were helpful & friendly. Location is EXCELLENT! Close to the main street, the beach, the old town, tram stops & main railway station.

I felt cheated. We saw the photos and thought the hotel was nice and clean, but when we got to the room, it was dirty. There was mold on the ventilation wall, limescale in the coffee maker, dirty tiles in the bathroom, and the floor was dirty. We checked in and left immediately. We couldn't sleep in those conditions. For a 4-star hotel, I would give it 2 stars. We paid for the stay and didn't stay there.

Thats hotel is a lie, its saying ots 4* but its not. The hotel website states jacuzzi but there's non. Th3 swimming pool is so small. Oh we paid nearly £2k for 4 days and we had to pay €10 an hour per person to use the pool. The rooms are all dated the aircon isn't the best. The breakfast is average on the last day the food was cold especially the beans. The workers look like they dont wa t to be here. They dont do lunch nor do they do dinner ONLY breakfast. Only good thing was the hotel is 10mins from the beach couple of mins from the town centre restaurant shopping. Thank you to Lynn and the small Tunisian girl they made our stay pleasant. Shukraan

Good place to stay if you want to get ripped off. We stayed here a while back and paid cash, then they later said we never paid and charged our friends card who was in another room. We pushed for them to check the security cameras because WE PAID. We had to in order to get our car out their parking lot. The management blew us off and kept saying they'd get to it. Months later, they still wouldn't comment. We couldn't do much because we traveled from another country. I couldn't believe they got away with it. We had to reimburse our friend over $300! I hope they go our of business for their shady ways!!!!!!

NH Nice Hotel is a modern accommodation in Nice, offering stylish rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi. The hotel features a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant with stunning views. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a good variety and dine at the beautiful rooftop restaurant. Conveniently located near tram and bus stations, it's just a short walk to the old town and within easy reach of the waterfront and city center. The hotel also offers amenities such as a gym, sauna, and helpful staff.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the NH Nice hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is fantastic—conveniently situated near buses and trams, with just a short 9-minute walk to the train station. We enjoyed leisurely strolls to the beach, passing through charming squares and delightful shopping streets, all while feeling safe and comfortable in the vibrant neighborhood. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. One of the standout features was the stunning rooftop pool, where we enjoyed two memorable dinners. The food was nothing short of excellent—probably the best French cuisine I've ever had! Overall, my experience at NH Nice was exceptional, and I can't wait to return. This will undoubtedly be our go-to spot whenever we visit Nice again!

Hotel NH Nice is adjacent to the Palais des Exposiciones in Nice. The prices can be more affordable than staying near the water or in the Carre d’Or or Jean Médecin parts of the city. The hotel rooms are larger than many others in Nice however they are dated and could use refurbishment. There is a small fitness room upstairs with a treadmill, a bike, and an all in one weights machine along with free weights and a bench. There is also a rooftop pool and a cafe bar, which is a nice place to catch a sunrise. And for the breakfast buffet, respect for those working the buffet in the morning. At ten minutes after opening, several options in the buffet needed to be replenished. The team working the buffet did their best to keep up with the demand and did so smiling the entire time. The neighborhood near the hotel has some cafes and bars however to get to the main attractions Nice, it’s a half hour to forty-minute walk. There is a tram in close proximity that takes you to the airport (needing to change once). Overall the stay was average.

We had a fantastic stay at the NH Hotel in Nice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and genuinely thoughtful recommendations for nearby towns and great local restaurants. Their advice made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. What really stood out was the attention to detail. On our final morning, we had to leave before breakfast service began, but the kitchen team went above and beyond by preparing a generous goodie bag filled with fresh fruit, cold meats, and other breakfast essentials. It was such a kind gesture and made our early departure that much smoother. Great value for money and a level of service that truly impressed us. Highly recommended!

Great hotel if you are visiting Nice and want somewhere a little bit away from the hustle & bustle with a pool. Tram stop is located over the road & gets you into the main shopping area in around 10mins. Room: we were upgraded on arrival to a superior room, brilliant size, huge comfy bed and bathroom with bath. Room also has mini fridge, kettle & coffee machine. My one “could be improved” was the hair dryer, the cable is too short & tight to comfortably dry your hair without battling the resistance! The option to skip a room clean in return for free drinks was great. Breakfast: great selection of options, omelettes on request. Pool: smaller than pictures make it look but still large enough. There are a good amount of sun loungers but on busy days they all fill up. Online check in / check out: very handy, we used both. Staff: very friendly & helpful.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the NH Nice. Staff were incredibly helpful, particularly a guy on the reception desk( unfortunately I don’t know his name) who when we arrived, gave us advice on how to get around, and what means of transportation were available to us. The breakfast there had a good selection of choices. The pool on the seventh floor was a very welcome place of relaxation after a day of walking around, lovely bar terrace ( a little too expensive) but had amazing views across Nice.

Breakfast is great but the housekeeping is not doing their job!!! After taking a shower and lying down on the bed, I realized the previous guest had left a lot of dirt and dust on the bed. There were even blood stains on the sheets — it was obvious the whole bedding hadn’t been changed. I was already lying down, so I didn’t bother complaining to the front desk. Room facing the Main Street is too noisy. Glass on the bathtub cannot be closed fully so water will leak out.

Hôtel Suisse Nice is a stylish hotel located at the eastern end of Nice's iconic Promenade des Anglais, offering water views and a chic bar. The cheerful hotel provides modern, airy rooms in soothing shades and is conveniently situated near the lively Old Nice with its bars and restaurants. With 38 rooms in total, 35 offer sweeping sea views from balconies facing magical vistas of the Mediterranean.
An amazing hotel in a fantastic location. Great breakfast and excellent customer service. Special acknowledgment to Jennifer and Clement at the hospitality desk. This hotel is located next to everything. 10 minute walk from the port where you can take boats to everywhere!

We recently stayed at Hôtel Suisse in Nice and had a wonderful experience overall. While we gave the hotel 4 stars primarily because it’s a bit dated, the charm and unbeatable location more than made up for it. Room: 4 stars The room, like the hotel itself, felt a little dated but was very clean and comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, and we appreciated the care taken with cleanliness. Service: 5 stars The service was exceptional. The bellhop went above and beyond, helping with all our luggage and personally delivering our bags to the room—a level of service we truly appreciated. Location: 5 stars The location is truly the star of the show. Hôtel Suisse offers stunning sunset views of the beach that are hard to beat. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance of Old Town, fantastic restaurants, and great shops. You really can't ask for a better spot to explore Nice on foot. Value: We felt the value was on par, especially given the amazing views and central location. You're paying for the unbeatable scenery and proximity to everything, which makes it worth it. In summary, if you value location and service, Hôtel Suisse delivers. It’s a classic, charming stay with panoramic views that you’ll remember long after check-out.

The hotel location and view are absolutely immaculate. The hotel room and bathroom is slightly dated. But the entire hotel was clean and comfortable. I would absolutely come back and stay here again. The view and balcony was great for us. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and being right by old town. The staff were incredible and friendly. The only reason I give a 4 star is because of the rooms and bathroom, otherwise great! Parking is not on site- there is a lot about 400 meters away
Deanna D — Google review
Probably can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere. Its in a good location, but there is no sound insulation so the noise from the boardwalk keeps you up until late. Service is average--one complimentary water and nothing else. Then you pay 22 Euro for beach access with a nearby Beach Club and they don't bother to reserve your chair in advance. I've had better experiences at a 3-star. Really regret paying for this place.
Summer N — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews unless something is truly terrible. Let me explain point by point: 1. Price:I booked the most basic room for nearly €450 per night, which was a few hundred euros cheaper than the Le Méridien next door. But when I arrived, I realized they are not even in the same league. This hotel only costs around €100 per night in the off-season. For comparison, Le Méridien is €260 in the off-season, and the Luxury Collection Monastery is €640 (and still €640 in peak season). You can imagine how much this hotel is overpriced. 2. ServiceThe staff never takes the initiative to do anything. Whether during check-in or check-out, they always look like you owe them money. Never took the luggage for me 3. Facilities. Juet compare it to a €100-150 hotel. The hairdryer looks like an old payphone, the bed sags badly, the bathtub is clogged, and the room is only 16 square meters. Don’t even mention the elevator—it only fits two people. 4. Location:The location is good, right by the sea. But at the same price (or even lower), other hotels in the area also have great locations. If the price is over €130, it’s just not worth it!
KC — Google review
The hotel’s food delivery truck arrives around 5am right under the guestroom windows, with the refrigerated engine running the entire time. The noise is extremely loud and makes it impossible to sleep. It’s surprising that the hotel allows this to happen, given how disruptive it is. For the price and category of the hotel, guests should expect basic quiet during the night. Until this issue is fixed, I can’t recommend staying here.
Sami S — Google review
Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended if You Have a Car We stayed for 2 nights, and the experience was disappointing. The room was extremely small for two people—barely enough space to open two small carry-on suitcases at the same time. Bathroom was not updated. One major issue was the parking. The listing on Expedia made it seem like the hotel had its own parking, but that wasn’t the case. We had to find a parking garage about 600–700 meters away, which was a real hassle, especially with luggage. We wasted time searching for parking and then had to walk quite a bit to the hotel. I brought this up with the front desk, and instead of being helpful, the receptionist was rude. She told us we should have called in advance or temporarily parked in front of the hotel to ask—but that wasn’t even an option. The street in front is a crowded, single-lane road where stopping is not feasible. As foreigners, calling ahead wasn’t practical for us either. Overall, we paid $600 per night for a tiny 110-square-foot space, inconvenient parking, and unhelpful staff. It felt like a tourist trap. If we had known there was no parking, we would not have booked here. And also breakfast was over priced. Definitely not recommended.
Kay L — Google review
The location is fantastic. However, considering the very expensive prices charged, the standard of the rooms (mold, not clean), the facilities (no lobby, breakfast restaurant extremely simple) and breakfast (any railway station would not accept that quality)! a big disappointment! Stay away!

Hôtel du Couvent is a highly anticipated luxury hotel being built in an ancient convent in the Old Town of Nice. The hotel, set to open in 2025, will offer a serene and historic atmosphere with easy access to the bustling old town, Parc du Chateau, and the beach. The restaurants on-site are known for serving regional dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.
I don’t know if I could love this hotel any more. Location and ambiance: 10/10 - you feel tucked away in this remote resort, yet old town Nice is steps away with access to all the shopping and restaurants. Hotel has beautiful thoughtful touches that really transport you. Note: you cannot get to the hotel by car. Coordinate with the hotel to get to the drop off point outside the old town and they will bring you and your luggage with a golf cart. Spa: incredible to be included for all guests! We went every morning when they opened and had it completely to ourselves for an hour. Food: breakfast was amazing, evening cocktails were great and the dinner at the main restaurant looked great but we weren’t able to go. My one complaint is we really did not enjoy the garden restaurant for dinner up by the pool.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel du Couvent. The decor was stunning, the rooms were large, and there was an incredible attention to detail. From the moment we were arrived, we were well taken care of by all the staff, and they met our requests with sincerity, patience, and much kindness. The arborist on site was particularly impressive in his passion for the gardens - he walked us through their offerings and picked ripe figs for us to try. He absolutely took time out of his day to share his enthusiasm with us. Clementine checked us in, and she was also very lovely. I highly recommend staying here. The hotel staff are attentive, genuine, and happy to help, and the amenities are an experience of their own. The hotel is in a great location, slightly tucked away and very quiet, but right in old town Nice. The breakfast was great, and I would advise including it with your room, as I wish I had done so to truly take advantage. Hope this helps for anyone considering staying here!

The location in the old town is unbeatable, just steps from the center. The young staff is extremely kind and welcoming — the complimentary madeleines at arrival and departure are a lovely touch. Common areas, the spa, garden, terraces, and the heated outdoor pool with sea views are all beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. Rooms are spacious, stylish, and still reflect local tradition. Breakfast is excellent, with fresh, high-quality homemade products. Everything was just perfect!

I booked in with trepidation, having gone to school in a Catholic Convent in Ireland. However, I can confirm there are no scary nuns, no oppressive iconography: this hotel is utterly divine. While you lounge by the pool, watch staff pick vegetables in the garden that will be served to you that evening. The food is heavenly. It is without doubt one of the most zen places I have stayed. And after 25 years of reviewing and staying in the world's best hotels - I have to say it is my new favourite. Sara who did our welcome tour was knowledgeable and hilarious. All staff were unfailingly polite in this quite unique and ethereal hotel.

What a beautiful hotel! Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s located up a hill in old Nice, please make sure to call the hotel beforehand to let them know when you are at the bottom of the hill - they will bring a golf cart to pick you and your luggage up. The ambience here is absolute perfection - minimalist, vintage French country vibe done beautifully. We love the design of the rooms as well as the courtyard, restaurants, and garden. The Roman baths/sauna were so relaxing; we enjoyed it so much we went every day. They also offer free yoga classes daily! Service was amazing as well, everyone seemed very happy to be working there. Overall 10/10, would stay here again!

My husband and I design and operate hotels, and, as a result, visit lots of hotels around the world. We were incredibly impressed and inspired by Hotel du Couvent and would hihgly recommend a visit. Upon stepping through the walls and into the "convent" it feels like you're entering another. highly curated world, where every detail is considered. The rooms were spectacular with streaming natural light - calming and inspiring at once, always comfortable. We were on the second floor, in a corner room, with a terrace. It was a perfect size and layout and we would always book this type in future. The variety of restaurants and food options meant that our 4 night stay never felt boring or monotonous. The cocktail menu in the terrace restaurant was one of the best we've had in a long time and the quality of both the food and drinks really stood out. The music was amazing - in the main spaces it was almost chant like and really set the context, in the terrace restaurant and by the pool it was vibey and had us saving songs over and over again. The view from the pool, overlooking Nice and all of the rooftops was spectacular, especially as the golden light set over the city and ocean. The floral arrangements felt part of a fashion show or museum installation - absolutely breathtaking. The staff and service was perfect - everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was perfection. We visited the roman baths - a very special experience. We don't particularly love Nice however the hotel made you feel tucked away in your private estate - like you can tap in and out of the city as desired. It also offered great access to other areas: Cap Ferrat, Eze, Paul de Vence etc and across to St Tropez. We don't usually write reviews however, the curation and execution of the vision was so impressive that we felt compelled to support and wish them great success. One note - due to the location being in the old town, someone has to meet you at the town gates to escort you in. It's a little complicated the first time and can be daunting driving through narror streets full of people, in an old town. It didn't bother us at all and felt like a fun part of the experience. After the first time it was easy. Just a note to be forewarned so that it doesn't catch you off guard and feel more like an inconvenience than an experience. Always ensure to call ahead so that the team have time to get down to you before you arrive. Enjoy!!

A truly exceptional place in the heart of Nice. This former convent has been beautifully renovated, and Hôtel du Couvent is a genuine haven of peace. The rooms are stunning, with breathtaking views of the city. The staff are highly professional, and the excellent breakfast is served in the convent’s former refectory. The pool is heated to 30°C, and there’s even an on-site bakery and tea room. Don’t hesitate—choose this hotel with confidence.

I had a most special reunion there with my sibling, welcomed with warmth and privacy by staff, wowed by the design details and subtle colours nodding to the past, delved in history and grace….. beautiful art works and accessories, old and new. The food in all 3 restaurants was exceptional….. you could feel (and taste) the passion of the young head and sous-chefs with an in-house bakery and patisserie laboratory as well. The spa was also beautifully layed out and designed, peaceful and enveloping with fluted lime rendering and smoother walls……I had the best 90 minute deep tissue massage ever there! The views from the (heated) pool and terraced gardens are breathtaking over vieux Nice and the blue sea of the Med….. a variety of herbs and vegetables dotted around between olive, tangerine and persimmon trees.

The Hôtel Aston La Scala Nice offers a modern and relaxed atmosphere with its contemporary rooms and suites. Situated across the Promenade de Paillon gardens from Old Nice, it provides stunning panoramic views of the Chateau, the Old Town's red tile roofs, and the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can enjoy terrace dining, a rooftop pool, live music, and a fitness center. The hotel also features a wellness center offering various treatments.
I have nothing to complain about this hotel. Me and my friend stayed here for our last 2 days in the South of France. We booked an upgraded room, and it was so spacious, with lovely big windows and a great bed. The hotel was in a perfect location, minutes away from everything. We had dinner in the restaurant our first night there, I had the shrimp spaghetti, my friend had a chicken ceaser salad, and for dessert I had the pear. It was lovely and relaxing, the food was good, and we felt very at ease. We ordered room service breakfast, which was a nice treat and all fresh, however I’m not sure if the food is worth the money, but it’s good for a lazy relaxing morning. We went to the rooftop bar for a bottle of wine later that day, and enjoyed gorgeous views, despite the pool being closed. When we returned to the room for a nap it was all cleaned and made up lovely. It was a great experience, and felt super luxurious, a perfect way to end our trip.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Aston in Nice was a bit of a mixed experience. The room itself was okay, but we didn’t have a proper shower—just a handheld shower head—and the water was extremely cold, which made things uncomfortable. The rooftop, however, was beautiful with amazing scenery and definitely the highlight of our stay. We weren’t too impressed with the breakfast service. It was very self-serve, and you had to make your own coffee, boil your own eggs, and even cook your own pancakes. It didn’t feel very relaxing, especially first thing in the morning.

This is a very bad hotel for the value. We paid roughly 290 euros per night to be greeted with a hotel of maximum 2 stars at best. The rooms were moldy, the double bed did not had a double mattress but 2 single mattresses, the bathroom was super small and the WC was in another “room” compared to the shower. Our view from the room was the back of the hotel which was very dirty and noisy, also the window was not closing properly. The air condition/ventilation was not working at all. The bad thing is that the the personal of the hotel was rude with us and said that “what did we expect for this money in this part of the city”. In addition to that, we had money stolen from our room. Furthermore, When checking out we got another payment of 60 euros for “city tax” and minibar even though we did not even touched it. The furniture in the rooms is super old and the bathroom facilities are super bad. No flip flops, no teeth washing brush, not even shampoo, just plain cheap soap. Please avoid it at all costs.

We hosted an event here during the UN Ocean Conference in June. It was attended by around 200 participants including the Azores President and many other high profile guests. However, the venue was not ready when we reached there. We had to arrange the tables, remove the disco balls from the ceiling, clean the windows and toilets and decorate the venue. We only had 30 minutes before the official start of the event to buy the decor and flowers and do all those things. Food and drinks were not ready when the guests arrived and some staff were rude. Instead of entertaining our guests, we were busy preparing the venue. It was terrible, frustrating and disappointing, to say the least!

We really enjoyed our stay here - it is in such a great location for discovering Nice and the surrounding area, the room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making use of the rooftop bar which has wonderful views over the old town. The breakfast was good, all in all the visit was commensurate with the price paid (cheap on an Expedia deal). You could go much fancier in Nice, but at a significantly higher price!

Probably close to being a 3-star hotel than a 5-star. If it weren’t for the great location and the pool, I’m sure it would have had 3 stars. I’m quite disappointed, knowing it is a 4-star hotel, as I’m used to them being a higher standard. The wall at the bathtub is a bit old, dirty or mouldy. I’m not sure, but it doesn’t look good. And the shampoo dispensers don’t work. They were quite slow at making room and cleaning up empty tables for new guests in the breakfast area, and 9€ for a soda by the pool area seems a bit much - Coming from Copenhagen, one of the most expensive cities in Europe, that says a lot. Cocktails prices seem fair, but sodas should be less expensive. There were no slippers in our room, although the cleaning staff have them on their wagons. It’s not a bad hotel, although my rating might suggest it. The location is good, it’s okay quality - but seems more like a 3-star hotel.

Hôtel Aston La Scala – France Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Room (Stayed in Room 517): The view from the room was excellent, and the space was generous. Daily housekeeping did a very good job. However, maintenance was lacking—there was mold in the shower, not enough hangers, and the safe was placed inconveniently close to the floor. The air conditioning was weak, and despite calling maintenance twice, it was never resolved. Breakfast: Outstanding breakfast with a wide variety of options and friendly staff. The only issue was the lack of order around the boiled egg station—some guests did not respect the queue. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend the breakfast. Hotel Location: Perfect location—close to everything, with a tram stop just steps away. Ideal for exploring the city. Hotel Conditions: Unfortunately, maintenance is a serious concern. Many areas of the building feel abandoned. The rooftop pool was very dirty, lobby furniture was damaged, and the overall organization was poor. The hotel has great potential but needs better management and upkeep. Rooftop Bar/Restaurant: While the rooftop view is beautiful, the food was mediocre and took a long time to arrive. Most installations need urgent maintenance. The quality of drinks was also disappointing and needs improvement. Conclusion: Despite the issues, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. We recommend the hotel for its location and views, but management needs to urgently address the maintenance and organizational problems.

Location excellent, unfortunately the service is appalling and this is not a one-off. I live in Nice and invite people here regularly. It’s got so bad now that even the great view is not worth it. From checkin, the person didn’t want to be there, to roof bar, being forced to sit next to loud drunk crowd despite empty

Situated on the stunning Promenade des Anglais, Le Negresco is a sophisticated hotel offering elegant accommodations with some rooms providing breathtaking sea views. Established in 1913, the hotel seamlessly blends modern comforts with historical charm, boasting authentic chandeliers and a remarkable collection of antiques and original pieces. Anticipated to open in January 2024, the hotel's spa complex promises to provide a luxurious retreat for guests.
An Exceptional Stay, Elegance on the French Riviera Absolutely the best place to stay on the French Riviera. This hotel is true class and elegance from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with natural light. Keep in mind I did not have the best room options purchased. The room service is excellent, and the concierge team goes above and beyond. They take the time to introduce you to the city, help with restaurant reservations, and arrange everything you might need to make your stay seamless. The hotel’s beach club is equally impressive. We had lunch there and quality of the food is imoressive. It felt like dining at a fine restaurant rather than just a casual beach spot. A flawless experience in every way. I can’t wait to return.

We had the best week in the beautiful Negresco hotel to finish of the summer in style. Our suite was beautiful with a sea view & lovely marble balcony then we were upgraded to a magnificent rooftop suite with a beautiful terrace & sea view-really fabulous. The private beach is wonderful with friendly & efficient staff & lovely food. We were looked after extremely well by the client manager Maxance who was so professional from the beginning of our stay till the end. He was attentive to our needs gave us good advice, made sure I was totally spoiled on my birthday with beautiful flowers, champagne & gifts. He made our stay truly memorable we can’t thank him enough. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were absolutely in awe of the Negresco. The hotel surprised us with an upgrade to a spacious sea-view room, which made our honeymoon even more special! The entire property is stunning — every corner filled with incredible artwork and old-world charm. The spa was to die for, offering a truly unique sensory experience in the pool area. Housekeeping was impeccable and always attentive, refreshing our room whenever we needed it. We especially loved our beautifully decorated green room, and waking up to the Mediterranean view felt like a dream. Staying at the most iconic hotel on the French Riviera made our Nice trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back! ^^

This review refers solely to the cocktail bar - Le 1913. I went on Saturday night, after 10pm. The place was busy. 1. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel, sometimes claims to be a 5 star hotel. But... There is zero dress code. Go as scruffy as hell and the staff won't notice. The table of Japanese tourists next to me turned up in sweat pants. Almost everyone else wore trainers, jeans, tracksuit bottoms, and plain T-shirts. Only 4 of the crowd - all women - had made any effort to dress smartly. 2. The staff was excellent. Attentive service and excellent suggestions for drinks. Nothing exceptional but good nonetheless. 3. The cocktails were excellent. Beautifully made, very nicely presented. 4. A three piece band murdered every song they attempted. Although two of the line-up could play their guitars, none of the trio could sing. I've never heard such weird key changes. Every song was trotted out at the same tempo. It was far too loud, drowning out conversation. Thankfully, the band took a 20 minutes break - the best part of my time in Le 1913. On resumption, the band encouraged clearly drunk women to dance, very badly. One of the more elderly dancers took the mic and tried to sing a couple of numbers. She was drunk enough to think it might have been a good idea. It was pathetic. I didn't spend 23Euros per drink to hear a pissed granny mutilate song after song. I have video but I'll spare you. This would not have happened in any of the decent, genuinely 5 star hotel cocktail bars I normally go to. 5. Not obviously accessible to those with mobility issues. Steps everywhere. Access to the nearest toilets was via a spiral staircase. Probably won't go back. The Carlton in Cannes is a far better option.

5 stars: a truly memorable stay! A hotel originally built by the Romanian entrepreneur Henri Negresco and designed by a famous French architect, a place full of history and stunning architecture! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, truly a dream. The setting is breathtaking, with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the most beautiful gardens. The level of service is unmatched: warm, discreet, and absolutely flawless. Every moment felt special, from relaxing by the iconic pool to dining with sea views. The rooms are elegant and serene, and the entire atmosphere is pure luxury without ever feeling pretentious. A perfect escape, I can’t wait to return.

The pool service was exceptional everybody was attentive and nice. The breakfast chef who walked around giving food was super nice and friendly. The complimentary shuttle service is very disappointing that it closes at 9PM. The grounds were spectacular. Rooms just fine. There are much nicer Four Seasons out there for half the price.
Matt — Google review
I know this review may not resonate with everyone, but please understand the perspective: when I review a Four Seasons, I do so in comparison to other properties at the same level—both within the Four Seasons group (I’m something of a Four Seasons “groupie,” often seeking them out when I travel) and among other top luxury hotels. With that in mind, this particular stay came as a disappointing surprise. We had booked one of the highest room categories after a long transatlantic journey. At check-in, everything seemed standard—efficient enough, we were assured our room was ready. We were then escorted to a suite with a private pool. On paper, it sounded perfect. In reality, it was located at the very end of a bank of rooms, directly beside the hotel’s main driveway, front entrance courtyard, and next to the spa. The result was a constant lack of privacy and noticeable noise. I asked immediately for a different room, explaining the issue. The staff member told me this was the only one available. Too exhausted to check on other categories or options, we accepted it. Later, we found out that other suites in the same category were, in fact, available. That was deeply frustrating—and something we were reminded of every time we were in the room. The broader issue: the hotel consistently met standards but never exceeded them. At Four Seasons, you expect more than “just fine.” We never once saw management circulate to check in, nor did we receive proactive communication during our five-night stay. These touches are the hallmark of the brand, and their absence was glaring. The best way I can describe it: it felt like a paint-by-numbers hotel—the framework was there, but the understanding, finesse, and color that bring it to life were missing. The property itself is undeniably beautiful. The ambience is classic Riviera, with manicured gardens, elegant terraces, and a sense of history. The restaurants were excellent (I’ll leave separate reviews for those), and the atmosphere at Club Dauphin was pleasant, though again it didn’t rise above expectations. Final Verdict: For many luxury travelers, the stay would seem perfectly fine. But for those who know the Four Seasons standard, this property doesn’t quite measure up. When asked in the post-stay survey if I would recommend it, my answer was no—there are better Four Seasons hotels, and better luxury properties in this region.

A very beautiful, historic hotel full of charm. The welcome was warm, and the whole setting – perched on the cliff with views over the shore – is truly a little gem. Some renovations have already been done very nicely, while other areas could benefit from further refurbishment to fully unlock the hotel’s potential. Overall, a very atmospheric place for a relaxing stay.

Our family stayed in the Pool Suite and also enjoyed dinner at Le Cap. It was a wonderful hotel that allowed us to recharge during our long journey. The staff were very kind, and we were especially impressed by the team at Club Dauphin, who were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Dining in the Pool Suite while overlooking the pool and forest was truly romantic, and both our child and the adults had a great time. Overall, we felt warmly welcomed and found it to be a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Probably my favourite hotel in the French Riviera. Have stayed multiple times and each time I appreciate it more, special memories of playing tennis in the evening. Have also visited for coffee and tea which is just as special.

This is one of those luxury hotels that only gets amazing reviews from people who don’t normally stay at luxury hotels. Everything was just ‘okay’ and for the price you expect everything to be exceptional. The staff were certainly friendly but the service was not as attentive as you expect and there were many mistakes (such as wrong food order being brought out etc). There was a wedding at the hotel (not ours) which made it feel like a very public space, especially the early morning sound check by the band and DJ out the front of our room. If you want a genuine luxury hotel leave this place for the influencers and stay somewhere else.

The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and every small detail is in perfect harmony. The staff’s attentiveness and professionalism are outstanding; they are always welcoming with a smile and ensure that guests have the best possible experience. The restaurant offers a true culinary journey – fantastic dishes, excellent wines, and impeccable service. This place is the perfect blend of tranquility and luxury. We are truly grateful for this experience and will definitely return!

Situated in the heart of Nice, Hôtel Apollinaire Nice - WH Distinctive has been recently renovated and is conveniently located near Avenue Jean Medecin and the Promenade des Anglais. The beach is just a short 0.6 mile walk away, making it perfect for beach lovers. Additionally, the hotel is close to the Nice Etoile Shopping Center and within walking distance of the Nice-Ville Train Station.
This hotel is faultless. It has everything you need: location, quality, service. As a family of four we used Nice as a springboard to venture out from. This hotel is less than 3 minutes from the subway. Same distance to trams. Only around 7 minutes from Nice-Ville where you can get overland trains to anywhere. The rooms are very modern. Spotlessly clean. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. And they make great cocktails too. In general I’m fussy. But still, this hotel ticked all my boxes. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this area ever again.

Our room was spacious, clean and updated. We had a lovely little view out into the street. The bathroom was quite large and clean. The beds and pillows we were comfortable and we were able to chrome cast onto the TV. The staff overall were lovely apart from one of the front desk ladies, who was a little abrupt and had an attitude. The men that work at the front desk were absolutely lovely, nothing was too hard for them and they always greeted us. Location was good, a nice little work into the main areas. Our only negative was that we had to pay for beach towels, something we haven’t experienced in any other hotel.

This is a great hotel and I would have stayed longer if I could. Nice common spaces with plenty of seating in the lobby and courtyard. Really spacious room, comfortable beds, great front desk service and excellent housekeeping. The location is a great mid-way points between the seafront, the train station, and the Old Town, it's an easy stroll to all of these points. There's a good selection of restaurants, boulangeries, and patisseries close by. The wifi is excellent and casting to the television from another device was seamless. The water refill station (with both still and sparkling) is a great touch. In summary, I strongly recommend this hotel!

The hotel facilities and rooms are very clean and well-maintained. I was especially impressed by the bathroom, which was spacious and spotless. Upon arrival, staff members greeted us at the entrance and kindly helped with our luggage, so we didn’t have to carry anything up the stairs ourselves. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the front desk staff. I’ve often heard that in Europe some hotels can be rude or even discriminatory toward Asian guests, but this was absolutely not the case here. I was warmly received by one female and two male staff members, all of whom were very kind—and even spoke a few words of Chinese, which made me feel at home. Another highlight is that the front desk operates 24/7. We checked out at 4 a.m., and there was still staff available to assist us. The hotel’s location is also convenient: while it’s not directly on the seafront, it’s close to the main street, and I even noticed about ten police officers patrolling in the evening, which gave me a strong sense of safety. Overall, this hotel was perfect for me—no complaints at all. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in one of the suites, and it was large, with a nice fit out and comfortable beds. We stayed at this hotel twice in 2022 and 2023. The service is mediocre, and while the rooms are clean, they are neither spacious nor particularly comfortable. The hotel does have its charm, but it leans more toward a “scent of the past” rather than modern elegance. One notable experience was when we left our car for a wash. We were charged around 100 euros, despite witnessing the long-time assistant drive it to a nearby car AUTO wash, WICH IS FOR SURE NOT LUXURY EXPERIENCE where prices range between 12-20 euros. He then carefully wiped the car down in front of us. This situation is a fitting representation of “French hospitality” at its finest. The restaurants are underwhelming, and there is no proper beach to speak of. Overall, I wouldn’t highly recommend this hotel. “Cap Estel” might be a better alternative, and I would certainly suggest exploring other accommodation options.

Keep up the great work — the level of service was truly outstanding!

I booked 2 days at the spa and chose their most expensive two-hour facial, priced at €550. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. As an owner of a salon myself, I can confidently say the therapist was completely unprofessional and not properly trained. Her hands and techniques were not suitable for a professional facial, and she lacked basic knowledge about facial treatments. The session was uncomfortable to sit through, and the only focus seemed to be on selling me additional products rather than providing quality service. For such a high-end hotel spa, this level of service is unacceptable. It was the worst facial experience I’ve ever had, and it does not reflect the standards one expects from a luxury establishment. If you are looking for a proper facial treatment, I cannot recommend this spa at all.

Exquisite stay. This is what a top hotel is supposed to be. From the welcoming and genuinely friendly and attentive service, a well appointed room, Michael doing a terrific job managing around the beautiful seaside pool, Alex at the bar, and a magical evening at their Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant, on the terrace as the sun goes down....simply fantastic. Had always wanted to stay here having passed it many times on the road above to Monaco. Will certainly return.

I booked a small group stay at this hotel and paid the full amount in advance, but due to a serious medical emergency—one of my party being diagnosed with cancer—we were no longer able to travel as planned. I reached out to the hotel by phone to discuss the situation and followed up several times by email, requesting a simple solution such as rescheduling the trip or crediting the room so we could use it on a future date. Despite these extenuating circumstances, the hotel showed no flexibility whatsoever and refused to accommodate my request to simply change the date of my weekday booking. While I understand policies exist for a reason, I had hoped for at least a gesture of understanding or support, given the nature of our problem. The absolute unwillingness to offer any alternative or credit left us feeling let down by their service, especially after putting forward clear and reasonable requests and providing background on our situation. If genuine customer care is important to you, be aware that this property was completely rigid in its approach, even in the face of a genuine medical emergency. It's advisable to confirm in advance whether the hotel will assist if unforeseen circumstances arise, as in our case, every attempt to find an amicable solution was categorically denied.

Simply exceptional!!! From the welcome to the table, the exceptional view, and the delicious dishes, to the presentation of the plates and the gastronomy, we had a truly delicious experience; this was a truly delicious moment of French gastronomy!

This is for the spa experience. I came for a gel removal and mani pedi which was quoted at 200 something euros (already quite pricy) but in a last min act of independence day shut down desperation i made the reservation. Upon completion i had the most underwhelming mani pedi experience and final product. Nothing special for a bamboozling 330 euros. The staff was amazing and kind and im sure in other departments much more rewarding for the price point but if you want a good mani pedi just book ahead at a local salon and save yourself the budget.

Aparthotel Adagio Nice Centre is a modern and inviting apartment hotel that offers a comfortable stay in the heart of Nice. With its well-equipped studio apartments featuring kitchen facilities, guests can enjoy the convenience of preparing their own meals. The hotel boasts amenities like a seasonal rooftop pool, a 24-hour gym, and even a launderette for added convenience.
Breakfast was great and had many options and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk was available for questions. The room was nice and comfortable. It was equipped with kitchen items, which made cooking a convenient option. The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to access public transportation options. There are several grocery stores in the area as well. Overall, it was a great stay!

A lot was unique with this hotel, and I mean that in a good way. For visits under a week you don’t get your room and bathroom cleaned, and nobody takes the trash nor refills toilet paper, we had to go down to the reception and ask for more, which in my idea is totally fine. The hotel has a pretty small, yet cozy pool at the roof with space enough for many people. We liked the hotel and the employees there. Room was okay, worked like a charm for just sleeping and resting.

This hotel was nice and clean but they did not clean the rooms and we had to take out the trash ourselves at the end of our stay. It has good value but you do have to pay €20 a day for parking and the tourist fee which adds up. The customer service was good, they only have two coffee pods for our 6 day stay. If you don’t have a car this is a bit far from everything.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! I had the most horrible experience staying at this hotel. The AC was not working throughout my stay, and despite complaining every single day for 5 days, nothing was done to fix it. The staff was completely unhelpful and indifferent to our discomfort. To make matters worse, EVERYTHING is chargeable here – fresh towels, room cleaning, even basic amenities that should be standard in any decent hotel. You are expected to throw your own garbage because housekeeping won’t do it unless you pay extra! This place is absolutely not worth the money. Poor service, zero hospitality, and complete lack of basic facilities. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else!

Great location and service. We made this apartment our little home and did not regret it. Everything is within walking distance, including public transport. The rooftop pool was a nice addition too! Car park a bit expensive (15€/day) but much appreciated. Friendly and professional staff, kids activities in the commons, really good value for money.

We had a great stay room was clean and very well equipped location is perfect just a short stroll from a mall and shops bars restaurants and the promenade. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly especially the pool security guys and reception team who helped me to find a phone charger when mine broke. Will definitely visit this hotel again ❤️

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was honestly the worst hotel experience of my life (and I’ve travelled to over 35 countries). The room was filthy - hair and dirt all over the floor, and 7-8 worms crawling in the bathroom. Disgusting!!! We asked for pillows and blankets for the sofa bed. Instead of providing them, the staff told us to use the ones from the drawer, which were dirty and stained. On the second day, we requested a cleaner room. The receptionist promised something better, but when we came back in the evening, they gave us a smaller room than what we paid for and told us it was the only option. With 3 kids, we had no choice but to stay in the original dirty room. To make things worse, we later found an even bigger worm in the bedroom. We also discovered that our used towels were still left in the bathroom. If we were new customers checking in and found used towels waiting for us, how would that feel? This clearly shows they don’t clean the rooms properly at all. On checkout day, breakfast was supposedly served until 10am. We arrived at 9:50am (not easy with 3 children), but the manager refused to let us eat, saying he had to leave for a train at 10am. He even told me “After 10am, I’ll have to kick you out!” Absolutely shocking, rude, and completely unacceptable behaviour. This place is a nightmare - dirty rooms, worms, false promises, and staff who clearly don’t care about guests. If you are considering this hotel, please, please don’t. It will ruin your trip to Nice.
Young H — Google review
It was good overall, but there were some weak points: the cleaning process was insufficient — once a week is not enough. They also didn’t change the towels or sheets. Nice is by the sea, so it’s hot and humid; because of that, this process should be better. When a client pays a large amount for rent, it’s not logical to ask for extra payment to change towels or sheets. In addition, the sofa bed was not comfortable, and the hair dryer was not working properly — it kept turning off every minute.

Nestled in the vibrant L'Arenas district of Nice, Nemea Appart'Hotel Nice Riviera offers a convenient base for travelers eager to explore the stunning French Riviera. Just a short 2-minute drive from the iconic Promenade des Anglais and only 7 minutes from the bustling Place Massena, this hotel places you right at the heart of local attractions.
We had a lot of fun here. Well located. Very new and perfectly maintained building. The roof pool only needs some plants/decorations to give it a more exclusive feeling. Indoor pool is perfect with a good temperature and small size. The Tram runs behind this hotel and it takes about 15 minutes to be anywhere in old nice.

I had a very pleasing experience staying at Nemea Apart Hotel with my boyfriend. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Both pools the one on the terrace and the one downstairs were great and added to the relaxing vibe of the place. It was a bit unfortunate that we were given a room without the view facing the airport. I was really looking forward to watching the planes come and go early in the morning, but sadly, we didn’t get that view. Still, our overall stay was pleasant. We stayed for two nights, and I appreciated that the cleaning lady came by and cleaned our room the day after tomorrow it made everything feel fresh and comfortable. We also received our €150 deposit back with no issues. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I honestly don’t understand how it is a 4 star hotel. At check-in, we were told that since this is technically an appart and not a hotel, cleaning would only be done once during the stay. However, that should never be used as an excuse for such a complete lack of service. I have stayed in other apartment-style accommodations before, and none of them had such a policy. Upon arrival, we were given only 2 bath towels, 2 head towels, and 1 floor mat—nothing to dry our hands with, not even a single hand towel. When we asked the reception for extra towels to use for the pool, we were told it was not possible. That meant we had to use the same towels for showering, drying our hands, the pool, and the sauna. I have never felt so unhygienic in my life. The room itself was also far from clean. The bed sheets weren’t even properly tucked in, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed at all, and the room was dirty with stains everywhere. The hairdryer in the room was broken, so I asked reception for a replacement. The one they gave me was broken too. I asked them to try it in front of me before giving me another, and they went through at least 5–6 different machines, every single one was broken. I explained that I suffer from migraines and absolutely needed to dry my hair, but they told me they had no working ones left. I then asked if I could come back the next morning, once other guests had checked out, so they could give me one from another room. They said yes, but when I came back the next morning, they refused. The staff’s English was so limited that I’m not even sure they understood my problem. In the end, I had to file a complaint with the manager just to get a working hairdryer and it took them two full days to provide one. On top of all this, the pool water was freezing cold, as if it was never heated at all. And charging a €150 deposit for such a poor room condition is simply ridiculous.
Selin E — Google review
I have never experienced such horror in my entire life! This hotel is a complete scam. They demand a deposit and promise to return it at checkout, but that is nothing but a blatant lie – the money simply disappears. I felt absolutely cheated and robbed! Breakfast was a nightmare: stale food, dirty tables, and dishes that were completely inedible. The staff was rude and shamelessly lied straight to my face. This was the worst experience of my life, and I genuinely warn everyone – do not book this hotel, or you will lose both your money and your peace of mind!
BOB B — Google review
The rooftop pool is the only good thing about this hotel. Everything else was a nightmare. The room was filthy: cobwebs on the wall, dust and dead flies behind the curtains, and the curtains themselves were black with dirt — clearly not cleaned for years. Reception promised to clean and replace the curtains, but what we got was a joke: cleaners standing barefoot on the chairs, and mismatched curtains, one too short and the other dragging on the floor. We asked to speak with the manager, but were told the manager simply doesn’t care. Nobody ever followed up during our 3-day stay. This place is far from a 4-star hotel — more like unsanitary conditions. Be careful with the deposit as well: cash or physical card only, and you’ll wait a long time to get it back. Strongly not recommended.

I had a very bad experience staying here. At first, they told me I could arrive early and they would accommodate me. However, when I arrived in the morning, they did not answer my calls and I waited for an hour. When they finally opened, they said no rooms were available and I would have to wait. After a long wait, they told me they had one room but I would need to pay extra. They charged me an additional €90 for only 3 hours, even though I had already booked for five days. This was very unfair and unprofessional. When I entered the room, it was dirty and not properly cleaned. The washroom was suffocating, and the exhaust fan was not working. I complained three times, but they never repaired it. When I asked them to clean the room because it was messy, they told me I would need to pay extra for cleaning which is unacceptable. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. This hotel is definitely not a four-star standard at best, it should be rated two stars. The breakfast was also very poor, with a very limited menu, and when items finished, it took them a very long time to replace them. Very, very disappointed with my stay.

CONSIDER CAMPING INSTEAD! I was very disappointed with my stay and definitely wouldn’t consider this a 4-star hotel. A few key issues: • There are two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, and a sauna, but no towels are provided causing both hygienic and safety concerns. • Our room was never vacuumed, we were left with hair from the previous tenants all over the floor and the bed was poorly made. When raised with reception, they rudely responded that they are doing us a favour already by making the bed, which is interesting because they don't provide cleaning supplies either • Staff were rude except for Yassine who deserves to be commended for his professionalism • There’s a kitchenette but no plates or cutlery—after asking, we were given paper cutlery and told to bring our plates, we are from the other side of the world and they had a buffet area right behind their desk! • Guests are expected to clean the kitchenette and take out their room trash bin a few blocks away from the hotel, which is odd for a supposed 4-star hotel. • The trash bin we received already had waste inside. • The cupboard had a hole next to the doorknob, clearly not well-maintained. • No orientation or helpful information was given by reception on arrival. • The room had a phone, but it was impossible to contact reception. • Reception is advertised as 24/7 but no one was available when we needed help after our flight was cancelled and check-in was delayed. No one answered calls, emails, or messages for two days. • Hot water stopped working entirely by day 3. • We were advised that the bond would be released on the next day but we haven't received it yet, over a week after Overall, it felt like we were paying for services that simply weren’t provided. Would not recommend.
Sophie D — Google review
Was a great stay until we had checked out the room and went to a different location and left our cases with the hotel, only to come back and ask if we could use the pool facilities until our flight arrived not long on that same day as checkout, but no the admin behind the desk smiled while telling us NO and explained it’s for clients only.. we had literally only left our room a few hours prior to this chaos. I told him it was bad service, not a good look for future customers. Sorry but I would avoid as you can’t use the pool if you check out on that day which is shocking..

Located in the heart of Nice, Hôtel Univers is a relaxed 3-star hotel offering comfortable non-smoking rooms with double-glazed windows for a peaceful stay. The hotel provides convenient amenities such as a 24-hour front desk, shuttle service, and housekeeping. Its proximity to Place Massena and Avenue Jean Medecin Street makes it an ideal base for exploring the city, while the nearby Nice Etoile Shopping Mall offers great shopping opportunities.
It is cozy hotel in pedestrian zone, on a walking distance to old town and promenade. Room was tidy and very clean, as well as bathroom. We were lucky to even get room with balcony, so can enjoy some street view. We miss kettle for tea/coffee, that should be standard in 4* hotel. Some more space for clothes will be good too :) Breakfast was OK - excellent bread, good coffee, there is only fruits missing. Also, sitting area is pretty small, so that possibly could be an issue during the season. In November there was no problem with finding place.

This hotel is in a great location. Tram stop and underground stops nearby. 15 min walk to main train station. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and easy walk down to the sea front. The room was nice and clean. It was small but was fine just for us to sleep in and definitely worth the price. Desk staff were all bilingual (at least) and were helpful with every request. Minor fault: The doors and walls are quite thin so you can hear the cleaners and other guests occasionally. You can hear the trams also but these don’t run much at night. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Perfect located place. Around you can find all you need . Staff is friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean . Small details could be change is puting some water in room . Rooms are very basic, same with breakfast . Not big choice. Not much things u can eat hot . Not to much vegetable. First day was only cucumber ,few slices of ham, cheese etc . So very Basic. If u lover food it will be not enough for you . Honestly .

Perfect location ! , the walk to the train station is a long walk away but no big deal around 10/15 mins. Rooms are a bit small but they are CLEAN and that’s most important right. Staff are really friendly and helpful . 24hr reception and feels safe. We didn’t opt for breakfast so can’t comment on that. If you have a late flight there is no shower room but offered couple hours later check out witch was very helpful . Overall good hotel .

SCAM ALERT!!! We and our friends have been ROBBED and it was 100% an inside job of the hotel employees!!! Safe have been opened (with master key / master password) and our belongings (money, passes, etc.) have been stolen!!! Receptionist have been acting very suspicious and even didn’t want to call the police at the beginning. After us making stress, being loud and proactive, police has come, we made a report and after returning to the rooms all of sudden our personal stuff has been „returned“ and was on some random places in the rooms. If it would be some random robbery, we would never ever see our valuables again. We think the employees got scared through the whole process with the police etc… and decided to return our stuff. We had luck in this disgusting situation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! You can be next and don’t have so much luck like us and won’t see ur stolen stuff ever again!!!

Paid in advance with the result that the room service just did not clean our room. Even after asking for a proper solution or getting the chance to talk to a representative of the hotel management, nothing happens. The answer was: we are not disturbing the hotel management or anybody because of an disappointed customer…. Super sad…. Go and look for another hotel….this far away from a 4 star accommodation. The two star rating is the result of the central location….

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. It’s a bit small but some would find it cozy. I felt like it was very clean and up to date. Best of all was the location!

This hotel is in a great location and is very walkable to the beach and the town Center. However the rooms were the smallest in size I have ever been in. Three people could barely fit in that jail cell with irregular working air con. Service was decent but would be snippy when asked about fixing the AC. Would avoid the triple share room.

Hôtel Du Pin Nice Port is a popular choice for couples or solo travelers due to its small but adequate rooms. The hotel offers basic yet satisfying breakfast options. Its convenient location allows easy access to the old town, marina, and promenade, with numerous restaurants and bars nearby. However, the central location also means it can get noisy during peak party hours.
We stayed for three weeks - the staff were so lovely friendly and very helpful. In particular Jack - Raphael and Connie forgive any mis-spelling This is our second trip to Nice - we stayed in the same hotel - the service is perfect. Staff in the breakfast area equally happy and obliging along with house keeping - we had a really good visit and hope to be back in two years time. Very chilly here in Queensland it was only 10 early this morning. This is our winter - sunny and bright with a high of 20. Very different from the heat we enjoyed in Nice. Wishing everyone at Hotel du Pin all the best Kind wishes Catherine and Keith from Room 704

This was a fantastic place to stay at, the comfort double room we stayed in was very clean and the location was amazing and had everything you need within a walking distance, so many nice restaurants and it has pharmacies and beauty stores all close by. Only a short walking distance to nice old town and to the port and beaches. Breakfast was great and the bar within the hotel was great as well with great food selections and good prices , all the staff were lovely and amazing, Manon especially was a sweetheart, overall I would recommend 10/10.

Employees were great when giving information, at the bar, and also at check-in/out. Hotel's location is excellent! Breakfast is overall good, but the eggs are flavorless and dull, and the coffe's quality isn't good. All else was good. However, I would not stay here again because the double room I stayed was really noisy on the weekends due to the pubs on the side street (even with a sealed window, noise can annoy you until ~1AM). Also, my matress was doing overtime. It had a “natural” curve right bellow my lowerback, and by the 3rd night I had some back pain. Rooms were clean. Room service was good. There are power outlets on both sides of beds. TVs are not smart TVs. Wifi is decent. Shower is hot and strong. No water leaks.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Please, please don’t waste your money here I already made that mistake, and you shouldn’t. The room I was given was tiny, far smaller than expected, and the bed *the only main feature* was filthy. The sheets, headboard, and sides of the bed were covered in dirt and stains. I have photographs as proof. When I raised the issue with the receptionist and asked for an upgrade, I was told there were no other rooms. I requested a refund and was told to email the manager, but received no reply. Instead, I later received an email from the hotel effectively calling me a liar. I also contacted Booking.com and still no resolution from the hotel. We had to leave immediately and book another hotel late at night at double the cost, causing huge stress and inconvenience. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and refusal to take responsibility are completely unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble there are far better hotels for your money.

We went to Nice for 5 days, rooms were not too big, but overall it was okay, ideal for shorter stays. The location was perfect, however noise from outside could be sensible before midnight. The breakfast was great, we loved it, and you can also sit outside which is a good thing in the morning. I recommend this place.

Good Hotel with absolutely excellent Location, but very small and simple rooms, Not even much space for your luggage. Rooms are a bit used. Hot water and aircon work. Noise isolation ist so-so. Cleaning Crew and Front desk is very good. Here are Suggestions for improvements: Better Coffee in breakfast are. This is Just Bad Instant Coffee. Come on, this is Basic stuff. Just buy a Machine with real Coffee. This was the worst part of my vacation 😞 Repair lights and Clean things in the breakfast area, remove spiderwebs etc. Remove whatever smells in the Elevator. Mark emergency exits better. We Had to evacuate due to a false Alarm, and the exits are Not marked well. When renovating the next time choose better colors especially in the hallways, the Hotel does Not Look very beautiful inside.

We recently stayed at Hotel Du Pin and couldn’t have asked for a more convenient spot. Stepping off the train at Vaugirard and walking just a few minutes, we were inside the door before we knew it. It’s that close! From there, we could wander into the Old Town in less than 15 minutes, strolling past tempting cafés and hidden alleys brimming with charm. The hotel offered spotless rooms and a friendly welcome, and the proximity to the tram line made our airport transfer a breeze. Plus, being right in the heart of the city meant we had an endless choice of restaurants and shops just steps away. Tips for fellow travelers: Airport transfer: Hop on tram Line 2 from near the train station—it’s efficient and easy to navigate. Exploring: Wander the Old Town early to avoid crowds; it’s a magical place for a morning stroll. Hop on to bus 82 to the medieval small village of Eze for an IG-worthy view. Overall, Hotel Du Pin struck a perfect balance between location, comfort, and affordability; definitely ideal for exploring Nice and beyond.

Résidhome Nice Aéroport is a new residence located about 5.2km from the city center and close to the airport. The hotel offers clean, modern, and well-equipped rooms at a reasonable rate. Guests have praised the welcoming and helpful staff as well as the convenient location for accessing the airport and ski bus. However, some guests found it challenging to locate the hotel due to its position in a new business district.
Perfect hotel. They welcomed us beautifully. The apartment is beautiful. Everything new. Quiet hotel near the airport. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them. We recommend this hotel to everyone. And we will be back again. We are writing a review and we have only been here for the second day.

Rooms are spacious, we booked a room for 2. The room has fully equipped kitchen, washroom, balcony and room. You get a gym also here. If you book for long duration, the cleaning is scheduled on weekly basis. It's like Airbnb, very close to airport, you may walk up to the airport. Tram station and bus stations are also nearby.

Room was very nice and clean. Location pretty close to train / bus station. Nice area overall. They don't do cleaning for your stay so that's a first for me at least. If you need to have your room cleaned you need to pay. Breakfast was good but if there are a lot of people there it gets very crowded

5 mins by tram from airport. Free ride. Stop at Grand Arenas and walk another 5 mins. It is also 5 mins walk to St.Augustine train station. Rooms are nice and clean. With kitchenette and full dishes , boiler , cutleries and so on. You can cook your heart out. In Room safe. Mini fridge. Not full breakfast. Only continental. Staff at reception are friendly and informative. In a quiet area. There is a Chinese food restaurants in front. No supermarket. Carrefour is 20 mins walk away at the Promenade. Only setback is that there is no housekeeping. If you need fresh towels, go down to reception to get it. No daily room cleaning services. You also need to throw away your own trash. Bring it down to lobby area. They will point out the place for you to throw yr trash. You can get dishwasher detergent at lobby too. Hot cold shower was inconsistent. Air freshener at the corridors was nice. Wifi was strong. I think the router is in yr closet. Tv channel was a plenty. Happy with overall stay.

In the reception they do not speak English. Not a word!! The night receptionist (Armen) was really kind and help but he could not communicate with us. More so we tried to approach the hotel by car and by google maps… impossible!! We tried to call the reception to get instructions how to get there but it took us ages to be there. No English. How inefficient and ignorant a hotel management can be when they assign people on an international hotel airport with absolutely no knowledge of English. And from what I read from the reviews, this happens for a least two years. Amateurs. There is no parking and the car can not approach the hotel. They give you a pass for a parking that you have to carry your bags on your own for long distance and the socking thing is that the hotel except the park fee is charging you 50 extra euro for parking deposit. I never paid in my life deposit on a parking area. There is no need or purpose for that. At the check-in and although we have paid everything in advance through Booking.com the non speaking English receptionist demanded us 150€ more for deposit. Second deposit!!! This is robbery. I wonder when I will get all these deposits back since I read at the reviews that they do not return the deposits back. However, room was clean and tide but there was no cold water in the room or elsewhere in the hotel. Unacceptable!!! I do not recommend this hotel at all. Don’t book there. Run elsewhere.

Far from Nice center or old town, but 6 minute walk to Nice Saint Augustin stop. Near airport. In Google maps, plug in Residhome Nice Aeroport, not the address. The address will take you to the complex of several 10 story buildings. Opposite side of Oxxo Hotel. Same building. 15 minute walk to airport or above ground metro right next to TER train stop. Considering the inexpensive Hotels we stayed at in Nice center, it would have been better to stay here, even with the extra distance.

We were generally satisfied with the hotel and its location, as it’s conveniently close to public transport stations. The staff was polite and helpful, and the area is quite practical for getting around the city. However, there were some important downsides that we only found out about upon arrival, which were not mentioned on the booking site. We stayed for several nights, but were told that room cleaning, as well as changing of bed linens and towels, is only done once a week. For a hotel, this is really surprising and disappointing. On top of that, we did not receive enough towels, which made things even less comfortable. While we appreciated the service and location, the hygiene policy really left a negative impression. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Guests appreciate the excellent location near Nice-Ville station and the beach as well as the reliable Wi-Fi connection.
Family travelers delight. The purple suite with loft was very clean, cute and fun for the kids. Being 5 minutes from the pebble beach and plenty of food choices very close. Two grocery stores with 5 minutes as well. The reception is on block away (20 meters) and they were very friendly and helpful.

Checked in on 8th Oct. at 2pm, two staff working were not as friendly. ( one Caucasian- the one without hair bangs and one African) No greetings from them at all, didn’t feel as welcoming. The Caucasian lady helped us with the apartment was rushing to finish with us. The room was dirty and old. Never stay there again.

Hotel
The Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée is a luxurious Art Deco-style hotel located on the iconic Promenade des Anglais, offering chic rooms and suites with thoughtful design and plenty of natural light. The property features two pools, including a spectacular outdoor pool surrounded by loungers, as well as an indoor pool, sauna, and hammam. Guests can also enjoy the casino, cocktail bar, and modern French restaurant on-site.
I had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt in Nice. The hotel staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional, which made the overall experience very welcoming. Breakfast was another highlight — delicious and with a good variety, and service was efficient. My room was spotless and well maintained, and the location right by the beach makes it very convenient for enjoying the promenade. That said, the beachfront location comes with a downside: in the evenings, music from nearby beach restaurants carries into the rooms, which can be a bit disturbing if you’re looking for a quiet night. Overall, though, this is a very good hotel with excellent staff and a prime location. I would be happy to return.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Nice. The rooms are a little dated, but the bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The location truly can’t be beat, and the beach club was such a highlight—beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was being assigned the very last room at the far end of the hallway, which was a bit challenging since I was six months pregnant and it made for a long walk. Breakfast was nice, though the coffee was memorably bad.

Perfect Location on the French Riviera with Exceptional Service We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée from September 18–26 and had a truly wonderful experience. The location could not be better—right on the Promenade des Anglais. You simply cross the street and you’re at the beach. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the French Riviera, with easy access to Monaco, Cannes, and the many beautiful villages nearby. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hotel itself is elegant yet welcoming, and everything felt well cared for. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Everyone was kind and attentive, and we especially want to thank Antoine for taking such great care of us and kindly offering complimentary breakfast—it really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nice and the French Riviera.

Recently stayed at this hotel for our south of France vacation. The hotel staff was very friendly, check in was easy and the concierge was very accommodating with all of our requests and questions. The breakfast buffet was lovely with a fresh omelette station although the coffee was not all that great. They used a commercial coffee machine; maybe invest in a better machine or an actual espresso coffee maker. I did get to use the gym, it was clean with new machines. A tad bit small but enough to get a workout in. The location is incredible, right in the heart of Nice. You can't beat the views! The beach is also pleasant and the hotel has a partnership with one of the beach clubs which we reserved day beds for our beach day. Service was great and right in front of the hotel.

I booked the Hyatt Regency Nice expecting the level of quality and service associated with the Hyatt brand and a 5-star property, but what I experienced was far from it. The furniture in the room was shockingly old, scratched, and completely outdated. It honestly felt like it hadn’t been renovated in decades. The bathroom was the same story – like stepping back ten or more years, which is not what you expect when paying such high rates. On top of that, there was a stain on the ceiling and poor cleaning throughout the room – absolutely unacceptable, especially when you’ve just checked in. For the price, this hotel is a complete letdown. The furniture desperately needs a full renovation, the cleaning standards are clearly not at a luxury level, and the overall feel is more of a tired 3-star property than a 5-star Hyatt. To make matters worse, this “luxury” hotel doesn’t even offer free parking. For the prices they charge, it feels insulting to nickel-and-dime guests on something so basic. For this level of bad quality, they should seriously consider lowering their nightly rates, because there are plenty of true 5-star hotels with modern, state-of-the-art furniture and much lower prices. This is simply not competitive and not reflective of Hyatt’s reputation. Overall, this stay was incredibly disappointing and absolutely not worthy of a return visit. Save your money – there are far better options in Nice.

We recently stayed at Hyatt Regency in Nice - we were warmly welcomed by all staff, with everyone throughout our stay being very friendly. They were also able to accommodate an early check in which was appreciated. The terrace restaurant has stunning views, with a delicious menu. Location is also great, near old town and direct access to the promenade. The pool & sauna access were also noteworthy. We would certainly stay again.

One of our favorite hotels in France by far! The rooms are great but the staff here is absolutely phenomenal! Simply the best! Everyone is so helpful, from the valet, to the concierge team to the room service! Everything is spot on! We will keep coming back!

We had a great stay. Customer service, from front desk to pool area/restaurant and room service, was awesome. Beautiful hotel with a great location. We were upgraded from our standard suite to the premium suite. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Nice.

Hotel
Hostel Villa Saint Exupery Beach is a vibrant accommodation option located in the heart of Nice, offering dorms and private rooms. It's an ideal place for solo travelers, groups, and couples due to its central location near the main square, Old Town, and the beach. The hostel is known for its lively atmosphere with a bar on-site and various activities such as yoga classes, pub crawls, scuba diving, skiing, boat tours sailing available for guests.
Absolutely LOVED my stay at this modern hostel — it exceeded every expectation! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The renovations are top-notch, giving the entire place a modern, clean, and vibrant feel. The rooms are incredibly spacious (seriously, way roomier than most hostels I’ve stayed in!), with comfortable beds, sleek decor, and excellent air conditioning — a lifesaver after a long day out exploring. One of the standout features is definitely the huge modern bar. It’s stylish, well-stocked, and buzzing with great energy in the evenings. Whether you’re looking to meet fellow travelers or just chill with a drink, it’s the perfect spot. The bartenders were fun and welcoming, and the vibe was just right — lively but not overwhelming. The staff were phenomenal across the board. Super friendly, helpful with tips about the area, and genuinely made me feel at home. You can tell they care about the place and the guests, which made a big difference. I had a pleasure to meet owners of this place, they were very nice people who really went up and beyond to make me and my friend feel welcomed. If you’re looking for a hostel that combines comfort, style, and a social atmosphere without sacrificing quality, this is the one. Highly recommend and would 100% stay here again!

I saw some reviews below, but honestly my experience at the hostel was great. The location is excellent, close to the beach, supermarkets, shops, and public transportation — I walked everywhere. I stayed for 5 days in a mixed dorm. The beds are comfortable, there are lockers in the rooms (you need to bring your own padlock), and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Showers, air conditioning and outlets all worked properly. There are some nice common areas for guests, as well as a city tour (I didn’t join, but I saw many people praising it), among other activities. All the staff I interacted with were kind. It’s possible to leave your luggage in a locker after check-out and pick it up later in the day, which is very convenient for those traveling at night, for example. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth. I think what can make the experience unpleasant are some disrespectful guests regarding noise and cleanliness, but that’s not the hostel’s fault. All in all, I recommend it and will definitely return
Ana M — Google review
Very good hotel. Clean and with perfect amenities. The hostel offers a kitchen, a large number of tables on two floors, where visitors can eat or have fun. There is also a small gym, which is free. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out is also free. In addition, the hostel provides a free shared bathroom for anyone who would like to take a shower at any time after checking out. The hostel is located in the center of Nice near the old town and the beach. The train station and bus station are also not far from the hostel. Perhaps a small drawback is that the beds themselves are a bit short for tall people, like me, but they would definitely be uncomfortable for people over 190 cm tall. Overall, the beds are comfortable. For those arriving from the airport, I recommend not buying a ticket right away, since the ticket is 10 euros at both terminals. The transport from Terminal 1, as well as from the distant Terminal 2 to the Grand Arenas stop is free. You can buy a ticket to Nice for only 1.70 euros. In case you don't have a lot of luggage and you like walking, you can get from the airport to the center on foot.
Dimitar P — Google review
The location is truly fantastic. Right in the city center, close to the beach and also near to the Jean Medecin metro. It doesn’t get any better than this. I can’t speak for those who left negative reviews, but we stayed in a double room and had an amazing few days. The room was perfectly clean, with good soundproofing. Street noise is barely noticeable, even though it’s in the center. Nice itself is quite peaceful, with a true Mediterranean atmosphere. The kitchen is also superb, with plenty of space and very thoughtfully organized — individual cardboard bags and a marker to label them. There’s a gym — seriously, where have you seen a gym in a hostel? I read some complaints about not enough showers; go down to the gym, there are three or four more, and it’s almost always empty. The recreation area is wonderfully equipped with table tennis, books, and even a hammock. The design is very pleasant. Most importantly — the reception staff. Extremely friendly and always ready to help. If I wanted to lower the rating, I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about. Absolutely no issues with the staff, only lots and lots of thanks. There’s also a luggage storage room — some mentioned it’s unguarded. It’s actually locked, and you get the key upon request. So that complaint is completely unfounded. I’m writing in detail because I feel the hostel deserves it — it’s truly excellent. P.S.: For those arriving by plane: don’t buy a tram ticket at the airport for 10€. Take the same train which is free till Grande Arénas, then get off the tram and on this station buy a regular city ticket at the machine for 2.50€. And simply wait for the next tram, they come almost every 5-10 minutes. Also, visit Monaco on the regular city bus — also 2.50€. The coastal views along the way are stunning. The closest central station is in the port Lympia area near the church of Maria. Thanx much Villa Saint Exupery for such a nice hosting

First hostel I stay at. It's definitely a good location. A good kitchen you can use with acceptable shared spaces. Drawbacks are some rooms - a 12-bed room, it was too much with some spaces not clean. If you want to offer that, you need to put in more cleaning there. Also policies of not smoking in room and in general rules amplified. The beds are simple and budget. If you have someone moving above you, the whole bed rocks. Consider mounting the beds in some way? The beds have no easy case for example to lock small essentials or so. You have to buy a padlock to use a locker. No small lamp attached to the beds, could also be offered so one doesn't need to walk around with the phone lamp or turn on the room light for everyone to get annoyed. The refrigerator in the common space is quite fool. Consider either buying another one or using some other type of marking technique, for example with different colors one can attach to the handbag. A towel? Should also be included in the stay. It's also not easy when having your own, you need to dry it attached to the bed... And if you're 6-12 people in one room, you'll probably have humid room. Baggage room works well, plenty locker spaces of metal are broken. Needs fixing. Staff in general not so happy, giving a bitter feel, not passionate or interested. Maybe the employer needs to improve some conditions for these or hiring?
Daniel S — Google review
Poor air quality was the biggest problem, giving me a headache and a need to go out. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was affordable (8e) and satisfying, coffee good, and the beds comfortable. It was just quite difficult to manage in a tiny, full room without any personal hooks or shelves, and my backpack would not fit in the storage locker. The room was cleaned every day which was great. I had lively chats with my friendly roommates in a mixed room, grateful for that too!

I stayed here recently and was really disappointed with the laundry service. I paid €15 to have my washing done, which is quite expensive, and all my clothes came back red. They clearly didn’t separate colours properly, basic laundry 101. Really frustrating, especially when you’re travelling and can’t easily replace things. The hostel itself was fine, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend using their laundry service.
Juliette K — Google review
Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. I rented a private room thinking it would be a bit more comfortable, but the overall hostel experience just wasn’t for me. It was extremely loud — guests were yelling, singing, and slamming doors well past midnight. One night I even called the front desk because I had an early flight, and they told me they don’t have quiet hours, which I found very odd. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. The towels smelled like mildew, and the overall environment didn’t feel fresh or well-maintained. In hindsight, I wish I had just booked a hotel instead. The one positive was the location — it was perfect and made getting around the city very easy.

Bed & breakfast
Hôtel Villa Rivoli is a charming Belle Epoque mansion from the 1890s located in the musician's quarter of Nice, just 100 meters from the beaches and Promenade des Anglais. The individually decorated rooms and suites exude a very French feel, with many featuring floral or elaborate wallpapers and some offering small balconies overlooking the garden.
Great location close to the beach, the price was great, the breakfast was good (and the lady who ran it was very nice), staff was nice and friendly. We got in really early, but they were able to get our room ready for us so we could get in. Doesn’t have an elevator (lift), which was disappointing. However, that’s not a deal breaker. Room was charming and romantic.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating to English speakers, as well as the rooms being very clean and well up kept. I got the basement hotel room, which while not having a pretty view was great value for the room quality. I did not eat at the restaurant in hotel as there was too much to choose from in Nice, but I had an amazing stay here.
ASliceOfPi ( — Google review
I booked a Traditional Double/Twin Room but was given a basement room instead — a clearly cheaper option according to the hotel’s own website, booking platforms, and the pricing sign outside. When I raised the issue, the staff insisted this was the correct room, despite all evidence to the contrary. It felt like gaslighting. No refund or compensation was offered, just the excuse that the hotel was full. This left a bad impression and unfortunately tainted my entire experience at the hotel. Be careful — they may try to downgrade you while charging full price.

This hotel is one of Nice's best kept secrets. The service was outstanding, within a few hours the staff made us feel like we had been there for a week. The hotel is not your typical anonymous hotel, it is authentically French and perfect for those looking for a taste of the glamours of the French Riviera. Special shout out to Barbara who arranged who managed to get us a meal at one of the most exlusive Michelin star restaurants on the Riviera.

We had an amazing time staying at Hôtel Villa Rivoli, it’s near the beach and the centre-ville, including fast access to the train that goes to the airport. The staff was very kind and provided an amazing stay! The room is good but I missed a frigobar to store beverages in the super hot weather in Nice. Good cost-benefit!
Bruna M — Google review
overall experience is ok. good thing about hotel is its location, in city centre which is very close to beach. A bit pricey though, but for a couple days trip it’s ok.
Heliga M — Google review
Lovely hotel right in the centre of Nice. AC in the room was a HUGE plus, sizeable bathroom with great water pressure and very well located —5 minutes to Plage Negresco and 25 minutes to Cours Saleya.
Rosemary B — Google review
The hotel is set in a beautifully maintained historic building, combining old-world charm with modern amenities. The rooms have been thoughtfully renovated, complete with air conditioning and some even boast small balconies. Its prime location is just a 10-minute walk from the center and about 5 minutes from the sea. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and the hotel is conveniently accessible by a direct tram from the airport. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The only drawbacks are the absence of an elevator and some issues with sound insulation. For a more tranquil experience, I highly recommend booking a superior room which offers better sound insulation and garden views. The internet is robust, catering well to video calls and film streaming. The staff are both efficient and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. An additional option for breakfast is available and served in a delightful area. Overall, my stay in this beautiful historic building was very positive, and I would happily return.
