Benny's Big Time Pizzeria is a charming Italian restaurant located in the South Front District near historic downtown Wilmington. The airy, rustic-chic dining space offers a Southern coastal twist on Italian cuisine, with dishes made from fresh seafood and local ingredients.
Benny’s is INCREDIBLE! Fresh and house made ingredients, carefully curated details, amazing service and ambience….and the gluten-free pizza is killer!! I’ve searched high and low for a decent gluten-free pizza crust, and Benny’s Detroit style outdoes them all by FAR. It’s just the best ever. We finished dinner with the flourless chocolate cake (torta caprese)! Benny’s is a must try- we were so impressed!!

I called ahead because I was going to try to take my special needs 10 year old daughter (struggles with waiting), the man who answered the phone was super nice and asked when we could get there, they held a table for over 20 minutes to accommodate us. With my daughter's gluten free dietary restriction we found the Detroit style gluten free pizza here a while back, we wanted to make the trip again. It was as amazing as the first trip, and worth every penny. The staff was so sweet to my little girl, we made a huge mess and even ate at the adjacent table, but they were very understanding and sweet. When it's time for a good GF pizza, we will ALWAYS come back here. Great job all around, and thank you for accommodating us. Hostess, server, manager, everyone in the back, amazing job. Best gluten free pizza in all of Wilmington, easily.

Great place for some of the best Pizza in the area. True story fish and chips on Friday are the best hidden meal in the area. Salads are🤌

Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria has been on my list for a while so I was excited to give this place a try. Since this was my first time ordering I’m going to be a bit lenient just in case they just had an off day, but this review is also brutally honest! I ordered the Tony Pepperoni w/Calabrian Chili Pepper and asked for it to be extra crispy. The bottom of the pizza didn’t seem extra crispy, and when you picked up the slice you can tell that it wasn’t indeed extra crispy. The sauce and toppings had good flavor. I’m a huge pizza lover, and a good pizza always starts with the crust & sauce, and the “NOT” crispy crust is the main reason why I’m giving this place a solid 3 ⭐️ out of 5 ⭐️ rating. It definitely wasn’t worth the $26 I paid for a 14” pizza. I’ve tried 4 other pizzerias, this being the 5th, around the ILM/Wilmington area and this place would be tied with 4th & 5th place out of all of those other restaurants. Service seemed to be fast & friendly, which was a definite plus! I don’t want to be too harsh, but maybe I caught this place on a down day.
Matt F — Google review
As someone who frequently orders Bennys Togo, my portion of Brussel sprouts this evening was unacceptable for the price. Anytime I have previously ordered Brussels the entire to go box is full. If you order in person the portion is double if not triple. The quality is inconsistent for how expensive the price is. My pizza was great but this portion of Brussel sprouts is offensive.
Madisyn M — Google review
I ordered a pineapple pizza, and I must say it turned out to be the worst food experience of my life; it was so unpleasant that I genuinely began to question whether the chef had ever actually tasted this creation before deciding it was suitable to sell, and that thought alone made the experience even more frustrating. After forcing myself to take only one slice, I could not bear to continue and ended up leaving the rest behind; it was the first time in my life that I found myself cursing out loud while eating, which tells you just how unbearable it was. This is truly the kind of dish that requires the chef to sit down, taste it carefully, and reflect deeply on whether such a recipe should ever reach customers; it left me thinking that no one who values flavor could possibly stand by it. Normally I do not bother to leave reviews because I consider them tedious and time-consuming; however, this was such a nightmarish meal that I felt compelled to share my experience here, as it was too shocking and disappointing to remain silent.

Second best pizza I’ve ever had. 1st was in Sally’s in Stamford, Connecticut. Best pizza I’ve had in NC. The menu reminded me of menus in Connecticut.

Benny's Big Time paid off for sure. Dined on a crowded Friday night with 8pm reservations. Seems like a celebration-type restaurant, with lots of large groups. Downside is the volume was really loud and hard to have a conversation. Chicken parm bites and salad to start. Dee-lish. All the pizza look amazing and we ordered two to share, along with the rigatoni. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. It's a must visit place and we'll be back for sure.

Mellow Mushroom is a national chain of pizza restaurants with locations in Wilmington, DE and the surrounding area. They are known for their eclectic music selection, creative stone-baked pizzas, and outdoor patio.
Good place to go for pizza and a beer and not feel out of place. They have several beers on tap. The service was excellent and our waiter was very friendly and personable. I have been to four different Mellow Mushroom locations and I’ll say this one has the best service and best tasting pizza. We will definitely put this one on our list of places to eat when we return next year for our beach trip.

How in the world do you make a pizza without sauce? Like legit really? I ordered a medium thin crust cheese pizza. How can you call yourself a cook / chef and make a pizza without sauce? Come on now???? What in the world!!! Done and over this restaurant.
Ashley — Google review
My pizza turned out great! I ordered the 14" with 3 topping being bacon (actual strips of bacon too) and double jalapeños. Absolutely amazing! My aunt order two slices cause she thought theyd be smaller than the 12" pizza but when they came out they were massive slices that dwarfed the 12". We all got a good chuckle as she only ate one slice. Theres creative decorations and artwork everywhere you look inside and out. My favorite being the 70s bus outside. This is a definite must stop when Im in the area. I highly recommend!

Excellently unconventional pizzas, excellently executed. I had the Thai Dye Pizza, a fusion between a typical pizza and southeast Asian flavors. I would HIGHLY recommend trying this wonderful creation. The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient. The atmosphere is both fun and family-friendly. The food is exceptional.

My first time there. Not saying it's a bad spot im just bothered that I paid $11 for 3 meatballs that was cold in the middle. The young lady at the counter was nice

We always enjoy mellow mushroom. I know of better independent local pizza places, but MM is a consistently better-than-average franchise performer. We ordered to-go on a holiday weekend Friday evening. The kitchen was clearly slammed. Estimated wait time was about 25 minutes from the time of order. Our order was actually ready about an hour after ordering. The wait wasn’t at all a problem, we get it, Friday night etc. But it’s a real pet peeve when the estimated ready-time is that far off. This seems like something that could be improved. Otherwise though, our experience was fine & I wouldn’t have any concerns coming back.

Mellow Mushroom is a chain, but this one is very unique. We were immediately seated. They just wiped down the table and seats...it was sopping wet. Service was good. Food was good. I don't love MM overall, but it was a good experience.

I've been to mellow mushroom several times over the years in GA and NC. It consistently remains to be a great family restaurant. The gluten free crust could be a bit more creative, better cheese. Especially the taco one. Good taste and not like a piece of card board.

At I Love NY Pizza, you can find a wide range of pizza toppings and other traditional Italian dishes in a simple storefront parlor. This New York-style pizza is served by the slice through a service window, making it convenient for late-night cravings at 2am. The thin crust is incredibly delicious and crispy, topped with flavorful ingredients. Whether you're seeking a quick snack during the day or night, this place won't disappoint.
Loved this pizza one slice of pepperoni can easily turn into 2 and at $3 its hard to say no, its delicious!..So inflation has hit and now (5/25) pep slices are now $4 but still good as ever. This is always been my first stop when I come to Wilmington.
Fierce — Google review
It has been a while since I was in New York but this is exactly the vibe and attitude of New York by-the-slice establishments. There's literally no frills, you can't even really go inside. They just hand you an awesome slice of pizza through a window and if that's something you're into, you'll totally dig this place. If you need to be coddled or want a bunch of bells and whistles, go someplace else. If you want to slice a pizza for under $5 it's better than a $5 slice of pizza has any right to be then this is the only place you should consider going.
J T — Google review
Eating here was a happy little accident! We went on the ghost tour downtown and it ended at 10. We had not eaten dinner as we weren’t hungry yet. We tried another pizza joint and their doors were locked, despite being during business hours, so we wandered around and happened upon this place! We all ordered a slice or two to go. I got a cheese slice and they had just pulled a pie out of the oven so I got a fresh slice! We all enjoyed our pizza immensely and two in our group even finished their second slice for breakfast the next morning, and they said it was just as good the next day!
Karina C — Google review
Walk up by the slice pizza. They don't use canned mushrooms, fresh mozzarella and a nice honest sauce. Dough is thin and folds properly and the bake on the crust is high temperature and toasty. Best part is the genuinely good staff and great attitudes that's on par with the delicious slice.
Gilberto S — Google review
I tried the Rancho pizza and it was delicious. The worker recommended it and said it was a best seller and I can easily see why. It has ranch, bacon and tomato on it. Our group ordered several slices and they tasted so fresh. Each slice of pizza was huge. It’s a really popular spot on the weekend with long lines forming but the line moves fast. Service is friendly and helpful. Would recommend and return.
Shannon A — Google review
They have some of the best pizza in North Carolina, reminds me of being back in NYC! The staff is friendly and efficient. I always have a good experience when dining or ordering out from here
Jamil H — Google review
It can get sketchy here but you're downtown. Pizza comes out in huge slices, hot, and crispy on the bottom. Perfect NY style pizza by the slice!! And prices are spot on.
Steve G — Google review
Always been my favorite Wilmington pizza spot, up until today. Something has gone wrong either ingredients are being swapped out for less expensive cheaper versions or people aren't putting the pieces together correctly I ordered two slices one of them came extremely burnt so they threw a cold piece in there for free. Margarita and barbecue chicken, never have I had such horrible Pizza especially from here. The cheese is definitely different, generic, not tasty at all. Hardly any chicken, BBQ sauce was off. I hate to leave these comments because this is always been a treat to me to get pizza from here. Whatever y'all have changed you need to change it back

Pub
Slice of Life Pizzeria & Pub Beach is a local chain known for its customizable pies, wings, subs, and tacos. Established in 1997, it has become one of the best eateries in Wilmington with four locations across the city. The pizzeria offers late-night hours, making it a popular spot after bar closing time. Visitors praise the thick and chewy crust of their pizzas made with fresh ingredients and crispy crust.
After a long day at the beach and a hungry family this little joint was a treasure. Great food and portions, amazing staff, and a chill vibe to relax after the sun burn. Highly recommend you get your slice of life on and pay them a visit.
Felipe R — Google review
The place was basically empty on a Sunday afternoon. One bartender that was handling tables. The service was fair. He was pretty quick and brought refills in a timely manner. The pizza was the issue. It was lukewarm at best and had barely any cheese and the cheese looks like it was placed on like a lunchables meal. It was so underwhelming. Not hot. It surely should have been hot as we had to wait on it. Didn’t raise the issue because we had other plans and didn’t really have the time but it’s an established pizza place that specializes in by the slice pizza. It really shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with.
Allen W — Google review
Ordered take out. Do this often. No consistency. Tonight, I ordered two Caesar salads, no Caesar dressing. Ordered a medium pie, dough was not done and had to finish cooking it at home. Also, first time I had to finish cutting it. It was cut into only four slices. We like Slice a lot but, please get back to what made you! Strive to do better.
Jeffrey P — Google review
Sat outside on a weekday evening, first time visiting, sort of a pub/bar/restaurant. Quick, friendly service. Big menu. We got a large pepperoni pizza and a large Greek salad, which was recommended over the Caesar, and was a great choice. Good sized salad. Pizza was closet $26 and was OK, not wow this is great, cooked well but just not really flavorful. Enjoyed the patio except for someone smoking a cig at another table, which servers didn't say anything about. We'll go back and give it another go, would like a local place to have a bite and chill.
Ian K — Google review
Cute spot Service was poor, never refilled our drinks Pizza was ok, the menu says they make the dough in house but I’m not sure if that includes individual slices. Dough was extremely tight, crust flat and had the little divets present in frozen dough…think Chuck E. Cheese but not as good.
Rachel A — Google review
I try so hard to love this location of slice of life, and finally after this evening -I just cannot. The service is always rude. I don’t care if you’re slow, as long as you say hi and I’ll be right with you, perfect! Keep the drinks flowing, even better! But to just ignore your customers, not a one time thing, but every time we come in, it’s just a negative experience. Porters Neck location is always exceptional.
Colleen H — Google review
I rated this place a 1 put of 4 stars despite them having my favorite pizza in all of Wilmington. The pizza is great but good luck if you ever want to order take out from their location after 10pm. No one EVER answers the phone. Tonight is a Saturday and they close at 3pm. We tried doing an online ordrr at 12:30am and it said they were not taking new orders... 2 hours and 30 minutes before closing. We called their location and it went to voicemail. The last 5 times I have called their location they have not answered the phone. I will be going to Might as Well Pizza.... hell maybe even papa John's over Slice of Life. If they don't care about doing business then they won't get business from me.
Savannah N — Google review
Pizza is a lot like sex, even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. But in this case I would suggest abstinence as this pizza is really not worth a try! The slices are very small, the sauce is bitter, the dough is chewy and looks/tastes like a frozen or refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough. And let's talk about the cheese... they plop mozzarella cheese on an already cooked "pizza" and melt it on at the last minute. Some of the cheese was warm, some of the cheese was still cold on my slices. Granted, I am a self-proclaimed "Pizza Snob" from NY City, but this wasn't even real pizza to me! The service was okay, as long as you don't mind being ignored by the scantily clad female server who was obviously hired to be eye candy as opposed to being hired for being helpful. Finally, lets discuss food safety and presentation. I asked for my order to go and asked for some crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese. Nothing says "yummy" like opening your pizza box and finding several to go packages of parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper on top of your half-melted cheese pizza slices! Again, think "eye candy" as opposed to "helpful". I will NEVER be back!

Wheelz Pizza of Midtown is a food truck located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Customers have praised the phenomenal taste of their pizza and quick service. Some feedback suggests that the amount of sauce and cheese can be inconsistent, but overall, it's considered one of the best pizza places in the area. The interior may need some improvement, but visitors are encouraged to take a chance on this pizzeria for a delightful culinary experience.
I decided to order a pepporoni pizza for lunch to satisfy my hunger and boy did I choose the right place! I ordered a pizza online and went down to the store to pick up my pizza. Although it did take 5 more minutes to bring the pizza out than it said online it was worth the wait. A very nice employee who told me his name was CJ brought out my pizza with a bright and spectacular smile. I hope every person who comes here is able to meet this employee - he even left his phone number in the box! (defiently was the reason for the 5 star review). But the pizza was even better, even if the sauce was on top of the cheese it still tasted good. Pizza was surely a must have. My only concern was the loud fans (do they not have ac? Those poor workers🙁)

What can I say?? This pizza was deliciously amazing. We love it! Great dough, great tomato sauce, great everything. Staff very fast and accomodating. Well, if you are thinking to open another pizza place, please come to Raleigh!

The pizza was just okay. The white pizza was a lot better than the soppressata. I had high expectations after reading the reviews and it was a big miss. Pretty sure they forgot about our order as it took 15 min after we arrived to get our food that we called in. Hate tipping before hand when ordering because of this.

One of my favorite pizza places in town. The pizza never misses, staff is kind, and the delivery times are fast. Love that there is good pizza in town that isn't Dominos or Papa Johns.

I use to love this place...and ordered weekly....Sadly.... It has gone done hill in the last year....The last 4 orderes I have placed have either been wrong all together or undercooked (despite asking for it to be "well done"). This last order had multiple bugs run out of the pizza box when delivered (The pizza went from the driver's hands to mine)... 🤮🤢 Update: I provided my information to their staff at their request because they said the manager wanted to smooth things over after teeing this review. Yaaa.... they never called once I updated my original review to be more positive...

Pizza restaurant
Brooklyn Pizza Co. has two locations, with the new Oleander spot being highly praised for its exceptional quality and service. Despite being busy, customers find that the wait is worth it as they believe it offers the best pizza within a 25-mile radius. The calzones and garlic bread are particularly delicious, with fresh and flavorful ingredients making a lasting impression on first-time visitors who are eager to return and try more items from the menu.
The food was fresh and very good. Staff were helpful and there were solid seating options both inside and outside. The “typical cheese” pizza isn’t on the menu, but if you ask for a “small cheese,” it’s just right for younger kids. My 7 and 6-year-olds loved it. I ordered wings, a small cheese, and two large slices of pepperoni all for $40 including a 20% tip. We’ll be back soon.
Sig J — Google review
I went out with a friend today and tried a slice of sausage pizza at Brooklyn Pizza Co. on Oleander. My husband was there recently and thought it was excellent. I'm on the fence because the crust was not as crispy as I like it to be. It was served in a paper bag - I guess the guy at the counter thought we were doing take-out. That might have attributed to the soft dough. Too soft to pickup, fold, and eat. I'm going to go back and get another slice and ask the cook to keep it in the oven a little longer. I did like the flavors of the sauce and sausage.
Monica P — Google review
Best pizza we have found locally! Pristine kitchen, friendly and helpful staff! We tried cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, mushroom and onion pizza, chicken and broccoli roll, and sausage roll- all excellent!! Edited to add a few more photos! The rice ball is so good!!
Lauren M — Google review
I am a self-described pizza snob from Brooklyn. The pizza is authentic to New York. The Sicilian slice is exceptional! It’s hard to find a Sicilian slice and when you do, it’s hard to find one that’s done right this place nailed it. Their regular slices are good as well nice and crispy. The sausage is real sausage not those sausage crumbles you get at other places. Their chicken marsala is amazing! You can actually cut the chicken with a fork. Very flavorful good sized portion. If you’re looking for authentic New York style pizza in Wilmington, this is your place!
John F — Google review
Brooklyn Pizza offers a delightful slice of pizza heaven, almost bringing the classic New York experience to life. Their pizza is superb, boasting a perfectly crispy crust and flavorful toppings that are sure to please any pizza lover. While it may not be exactly like authentic NYC pizza, it comes impressively close. The wings are another highlight, packing a delicious punch of flavor, though be prepared for a spicy kick! They strike a nice balance for those who enjoy a bit of heat with their meal. As for the garlic knots, they’re decent – soft and garlicky, making a nice accompaniment to the main dishes. Overall, Brooklyn Pizza provides a satisfying and tasty experience that’s well worth a visit.

Haven't left the parking lot yet and wanted to take a look and bite of my fresh large cheese. Easy 7.5/10 za; any chain pizza doesn't hold a candle to this. Great crunch, beautiful undercarriage, good cheese. Nothing sliding off the top and not so oily you could save some and toast bread with. The folks working were kind enough and easy to talk to. Must-go pizza place. Definitely returning. If you want to know if it's good the next day cold, respond to this or send a direct message because I'm not coming back to this post to update it

I was down at the beach and of course I had to get some pizza, looked up some places and I came across this place. I called in and ordered. My service was really good, seating I think was a little tight but it was chill. Everyone was enjoying themselves eating or waiting on food. So I only eat cheese and the pizza was good except it was quite burnt on the bottom so it didn't leave a great taste afterwards but other than that, the pizza was good. I would like try them again!

I have always loved this place, the food is absolutely delicious, but today I wasn’t feeling well so I ordered delivery instead of picking it up. I made a joke about it in my delivery notes, and they wrote a sweet note saying “Feel Better” attached to a container of 2 cannolis! 🥹 So thoughtful, what great customer service! (Whoever is working lunch on 5/22 - thank you!!)

Michaelangelos Pizza is a local pizzeria chain known for its NY-style pies, pasta, subs, and stromboli in a casual setting. The deli-style pizzeria is renowned for its giant thin-crust pies that are generously portioned and affordably priced. Customers rave about the 20-plus-inch Godfather pie and the consistently delicious veggie Stromboli.
Came here with friends after a long beach day and this place did not disappoint! We just got takeout but the crust was amazing, perfectly crispy! Highly recommend the mushroom slice! Plus the service was great, even though we came at the very end of the day

I think they have the perfect amount of crust and they offer Canadian bacon which is hard to find in the area as many offer ham only. Pizza is delicious but store is consistently filthy. It was slow in the store and Staff were not busy... but every table had crumbs and trash remained on the floor. Restrooms had no paper. Go for the Pizza if you can filthy. The filth.

We far from Charlotte, North Carolina and visiting Wrightsville Beach. We decided we wanted pizza this evening, New York style to be exact. We went into Micheal Angelo‘s had great pizza and great customer service!
Deborah M — Google review
The pizza is very good, albeit super greasy. The restaurant is due for a deep scrub, especially in the kitchen. They are also consistently out of certain items that I think should be well in stock. I hardly see the staff wear hair nets or wash their hands. The guy with the multi-colored hair wiped a knife with the same rag he wiped the floor with. Fire extinguishers are expired. The owner very much likes to be combative with his employees and taking their inventory. TLDR: Food is good, very poorly run establishment.

I am finally getting around to writing a review for this awesome place. Every time I say I’m going to do it, I forget to take some pictures, I usually get home and forget and then I remember after I’ve devoured the veggie Stromboli! Since moving to Wilmington almost 10 years now, I frequently go here at least 4 times a month, it’s always perfect every time. I always get light cheese and sometimes it is a bit more than light, but mostly it’s perfect. I get the same thing every time and every time it’s magical! The price is right, the service is prefect and these guys are just the coolest! If you have not been here, you should, now I can only speak of the one here on Eastwood, but I’m sure all the locations are good, but this review is for this store only. I think these guys would appreciate my album, “Unclassified.” I’m thinking for them, “Time” the instrumental, it’s like cool jazz, like purple, like being there, you dig? Thanks guys for some great food!

Ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a chicken cutlet parm hero absolutely delicious. Food was hot and grease was dripping from the slice of pizza, that's how pizza is supposed to be and foldable. I am from Queens NY.

Michaelangelo Pizza is fabulous baby. No, really, it is one of the best tasting pizzas I've eaten, and their cheese steaks, dam! My wife has given me a couple of bites of her calzone, and wow, it was delicious. They are not skimping on the meat with the sandwiches, and the pizzas are great sizes. You can't go wrong with having your meals here, so join me and see

I always come here for a few slices and always love it. I got a sweet heat(pineapple, bacon, chicken, broccoli, with a sweet and spicy drizzle) , and pepperoni sausage. They do some modern flavors while mixing it up as well. The slices are a great proportion also! Real ninja turtle vibe. 👍🏾

Agostino's Pizza & Pasta is a hidden gem with super friendly staff, great pizza, and good prices. The giant Specialty slices are a steal at under $10 and the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice is outstanding. The drive-thru window makes it super convenient to pick up orders. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious pasta and pizza options that are sure to satisfy your cravings. With fantastic service and amazing food, this place is perfect for gatherings or celebrations.
What a great place! Firstly the waitress was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Really some of the best service in Wilmington. But the food was excellent! Highly recommend the penne or stuffed shells! They cooked the pasta perfectly! The calzone is huge but just a little too bready if I'm searching for some kind of complaint. We will be returning here the next time we pass through! Also they do have a drive-thru for pickup!

Been meaning to write a review. I've eaten here several times. The pizza is always very good. The last time I was here, I had the linguini with clams, which came with a side of garlic bread. It was a perfect portion for lunch.

Fast service, tasty pizza and knots, and a really good house salad. This place has it figured out and this was such an enjoyable lunch. Highly recommend!!
R.K. L — Google review
First time eating at Agostino's. Ordered a cheesesteak with just meat, cheese, and onions to-go. Paid $11.45 including tax. Is this cheesesteak mindblowing? No. But it is a solid option and definitely one I'd get again. I'd say their ranch is better on the cheesesteak than as a dip for the fries. I am especially pleased with the price to portion size. I have a large appetite and I usually have to spend minimum $25 on a meal that actually satiates me. All the employees I interacted with were quite lovely. Did not have to wait long at all for my order, about 10minutes? I think this is a good option on the menu for those times when you're the odd one out in your party as the only one who isn't in the mood for pizza. I do not regret spending money on this meal. Will come back!

My new favorite restaurant in Wilmington, hands down!! The team at Agostino's is such a breath of fresh air. Every time I have dined in, multiple staff members have come by my table to check in and have a conversation. They are all so friendly and part of the reason I am now a loyal customer. Not to mention, the food is incredible as well! Denise is one of THE BEST servers I have ever had the pleasure of talking to at a restaurant in my life. I know the rest of the Agostino's team, and customers alike, are happy when she is working. I can't say enough great things about the food, staff, and atmosphere-- you guys rock!

We used Agostinos for our son's rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect choice!! Tony, the owner was delightful and accommodating in every way. I didn't have to worry about any details. We had Pizza, Pasta Alfredo, Salad and garlic knots and everything was delicious! I highly recommend their pizza and food for a night out or for any event! Tony and his family are amazingly wonderful people! Thank you Tony!!

At Your Pie Pizza, customers can customize their pizzas by selecting their preferred dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings. This popular pizzeria chain also offers a variety of gelato flavors and microbrews for those seeking a sweet treat or a refreshing beverage. In addition to traditional options, this build-your-own pizza place caters to various dietary needs with vegan cheese, gluten-free crusts, and numerous vegetarian toppings.
We tried Your Pie recently and LOVE it! The pizzas are amazing and the red sauce and pesto sauce options were great. We created our own pizzas and were very happy with the number of toppings we could choose. We also love that they offer plant-based cheese. Your Pie is our new fave for creating pizzas, pastas and salads at a reasonable price and highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is also very clean.

Hands down the worst first experiences at a restaurant in the Wilmington area. The restaurant was almost empty but still waited several minutes for someone to show up at the register to pick up a carry out order. Someone who saw me walk in, who turned out to be the manager, finally got up from their chair in the corner to finish packing our order. We ordered a supreme with extra mushrooms and onions and a great white with chicken, mushrooms and jalapeños. When we got home our pizza was already cold and neither pie was made as we requested. No additional toppings were added to the great white nor were extras added to the supreme. We were told by the manager that the ticket that printed in the kitchen had no edits or extras however the emailed receipt we received had all the extras that we requested. After calling the manager on duty to provide feedback on our experience he got loud and extremely rude, said that the website is not operated by the company and that it contains wrong information but that they are not responsible for any errors caused by the website, he said that there wasn’t anything they could do, so I’m stuck with food I did not order and out more than $50. The website also charges an automatic tip, which the person I spoke to does not deserve. If we could give them a 0 we would. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Nicholas H — Google review
I previously wrote a review calling this place “bozo’s”, because l couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone so l could order a pie after work. Well, l am a big believer in 2nd chances. I ordered a personal 10” pie last night with pepperoni. This time l got through. The pie was ready in a timely manner. I’m not sure why she cut it into 6 slices when 4 would be sufficient, but ok. The pizza itself, in my opinion wasn’t that good. It was ok. It fulfilled the craving for pizza, but l felt l could have gotten as good a pie at Harris Teeter. A side note, they use a gritty substance (l assume) to help the pie not stick to the cooking sheet. It reminded me of Domino’s. I’m personally not a big fan. In full disclosure l am originally from Philly and my taste and style is probably different than what the locals are used to, but it’s my review and my money. Would l go back? Possibly, if my options were limited. But it would not be my first choice.

Brought the kids on a Friday night. They got extra dough to make their own pizza and got to take their little creations home after the staff baked their little pizza. The enployees were very nice and so sweet to the kids. They finished the meal with the gelato and loved it.

Thank you for having vegan cheese and gluten free crust and offering plenty of veggies and sauce options. It was yummy for first time. I prefer thicker crust pizza but it was good for a take out office lunch. Everyone else loved their pizza.
Nancy B — Google review
We do pizza every Friday night, and Your Pie is always our kids #1 request! The staff always gives them extra dough to play with and they sometimes even create their own pizzas. 5/5 for a family friendly place with the kindest crew
Janelle C — Google review
The Pizza is AMAZING! Such wonderful topping options, great crust, delicious sauce. The ONLY complaint I have is that they use thin wax paper under their pies instead of parchment paper, and it always ends up that I have to peel little bits of wax paper off the underside of the pie. Taste: 10/10, to-go presentation: 5/10.
Jordan W — Google review
Love the pizza here! And they have some Gelato and sorbet that is a perfect finish to the meal! They have wings too but I got some honey BBQ and it came out more like buffalo but still great and yummy. The staff are great and very nice, and if you have allergies they are very accommodating and able to meet gluten to limes desiese diet restrictions.

Ledo Pizza has been a beloved local gem since 1955, renowned for its distinctive flaky rectangular crust and classic Italian dishes. If you find yourself in Wilmington craving a square slice, Ledo Pizza is the place to be. Each pizza is crafted fresh to order, generously topped with their signature homemade sauce and melted smoked provolone cheese that creates an irresistible flavor profile. The unique thin crust strikes the perfect balance—not too crispy but delightfully satisfying.
We are from Maryland, so Ledo Pizza was a staple in our house. My wife was in the area, so she picked it up and said that this is one of the nicest location she has been to. The food was fantastic as usual and I can’t wait till she’s back in the area.
Chris C — Google review
Picked up a personal pizza today. Got back to work and it was dry, flavorless and little to no sauce. Their pizza sauce it delicious not sure why they are skimping the sauce on the pizza. This is NOT pizza its bread with cheese I grew up on Ledo Pizza and it has always been my favorite. This isn't the 1st time I have had this issue. I want to support them but its not worth the drive or money at this point. Completely disappointed with Ledo’s this is not the same like we grew up on. Pictures are being posted
Ashley — Google review
It was my first time ordering Ledo’s since being in the area. It tasted great as I liked Ledo’s since my days in the DMV. I didn’t get a heartburn from the sauce, and despite the pizza not being gluten free, my gut was not reactive. It was a great eat for a late night dinner. I ordered from Door Dash so I don’t have an in-dining experience to note.
Leigh P — Google review
A-Ma-Zing. Wow I love this Ledo's. As were originally from Maryland you can imagine how excited I was to see that there was a Ledo pizza in Wilmington. oddly enough, it’s probably the nicest one I’ve ever seen. A full bar, excellent service, fabulous seating, and Rounds Golf! Not sure it gets any better. ☺️
Amy B — Google review
I went there for the first time last weekend. I must say the vibes were good and it’s a nice place for golf, however the pizza was not good. It was not crispy and the dough itself had no flavor. The wings were very good with their house made buffalo sauce.
Jade G — Google review
Had a wonderful meal. I will have to say my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I didn't realize how much they give you! Very generous portions! The wings here are perfect👌and the pizza is really satisfying(forgot to take a picture). My only criticism is the spaghetti and meatballs. There wasn't a lot of sauce on my portion with all of that pasta and the meatballs texture was almost foamy. Other than that we had a great time!
Tally W — Google review
We went to check put Ledo's, had heard alot about it. They were not very busy so we glad to be seated quickly. We ordered meat pizza 18 inch. It came out on 2 trays. The pizza was loaded with topping and tasted delicious. The edges were crispy but the middle was not. Even after bringing it home and putting in air fryer it still wouldn't get crispy. Still tasted good. And was a very decent price.

The Caesar salad was tasty, the Buffalo wings could use a little more spice and the pizza was okay. Good for takeout!

Margarita Pizza ……literally the BEST pizza I have ever had, try it or miss out! I ate 4 slices. It is totally delicious and different than all other pizzas. I promise you will not be disappointed. We pigged out, so good!
Janice P — Google review
The service was fine. Absolutely no complaints about the girl or the time to get my pie. I simply wasn’t impressed with their basic mozzarella cheese pizza. That’s what I got. The color was off, it was orangie. The flavor didn’t taste like mozzarella, but had a cheddar like hint. I could eat it, and l did, but it wasn’t what l wanted or expected to get. So it’s not like l am saying l wouldn’t go back, but it definitely wouldn’t be my first choice. And the crust was a little too dry.
Timothy H — Google review
Always a great experience when we come to Brixx. The pizzas are smaller so if it's more than one person you may want to order multiple or an appetizer. The new garlic bread was pretty good!
Cassandra N — Google review
I like wood fired crust, and anyplace that serves artichokes gets my vote. The pizza was great, and leftovers were good cold, didn’t get soggy. The arugula pear salad was fresh and light. Wine selection was just mid…would have liked more options. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 ⭐️ is because all the servers stood around talking and eating right in front of me at the bar. I’ll try it again for take-out because the pizza was good.

July 15,2023 amending my original 5 star review. I’ve we have been on several occasions and 3 x in the last month of July. I canning say I am pleased with the new menu, restroom cleanliness, or mainly the food quality. Unfortunately I did not grab a picture from my last experience yesterday. The bottom of 2 out of 5 pizzas were totally black. I should have said something about mine at the time I agree. But instead I did much like most patrons. I dealt with it. The restroom toilet paper was laying on the floor. Another picture I didn’t get but you really can’t make this stuff up. When I got home the 2 pizzas I ordered for take out were okay but one was over cooked as was mine there. My friend’s 11 year old made a comment about his Hawaiian pizza not being good before we had the chance to consider taking about it. At this point if they don’t do something to act on bathroom experience and cleanliness, and quality of their food, Brixx will miss out of a few frequent fliers. Ball is in their court. Next time I go I will share a new review on my experience from restrooms, quality of food I.e. pizza ***Original Review***See above for latest experience. Frequent fliers here. We hit up Brixx at least 2x a month. Food is generally consistent. We mostly sit at the bar or outside. Service is good and we like the beer selection. Usually an IPA to please. Check out their beer specials. I would recommend Brixx training staff on legacy ordering. If I want a pizza that was retired last week, there is a book to reference. Brixx to note - Ladies restrooms could use some TLC. Otherwise it’s a chain - quality is consistent. Service is like anyplace. Some days great, some days not so much. Overall we enjoy the food and experience.

We really appreciated the house-made pasta.. what a difference that makes with the texture and flavor of the pasta! The beef and mushroom risotto and bucatini were amazing. Our waitress Bella was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. Bella made our dinner experience and she was great with our kids.

Good food. I went there with my girlfriends for a birthday celebration and we all enjoyed our dishes. We had some garlic bread and bruschetta for appetizers and they were both delicious. I had the fettuccine in clam sauce, a glass of white wine, and some cannolis for dessert. The pasta is homemade and you can definitely taste it. The clam sauce was delicious and well seasoned. The cannolis were also very tasty and not overly sweet, which I prefer. Our server was extremely sweet and knowledgeable. She took great care of our table and everyone was impressed by her promptness and kindness in making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and how we wanted. The restaurant atmosphere is intimate without being intimidating. There were quite a few other tables with midsized groups but it didn’t feel crowded. Though it’s an Italian restaurant, I didn’t feel like I was in one. Maybe that’s their twist.

My niece and I stopped by this restaurant on a Wednesday night after spending the afternoon at the beach. It was the perfect end to a beautiful day! Good beer. Lots of space indoor and out. Friendly staff and quite a bit of food options. We visited with a youth sports team and they had space for us AND were friendly and accommodating with the kids--you don't always find that breweries. 7/2/25 - went back. It's a nice place. The food's always good. Nice staff. I sat outside in the patio area. They have a serious fly problem. They should fix that. My drink and food was constantly being attacked by flies and the dumpster was very close by. So eat inside I can only rate the pizza. Well the slice of vegetarian pizza. The first time I bought it, it wasn't as good as the second time. The second time is phenomenal. First time was fair. So I'm guessing they have different chefs or buy ingredients from different stores depending on stock? But it was a fair price and yummy. I'll be back

Hands down they have to have the worse pizza in Wilmington. I ordered 2 plain slices and you could almost tell the way the cheese looks it wasn’t going to be good. Just different some how. After the first bite I knew wasted my money. Not sure how they pulled it off but there was very little taste at all. The sauce was just terrible which probably explains the taste. I am not kidding when I say you could probably purchase a frozen pizza at any grocery store and maybe get a better pie. I have no idea how this place stays in business. Maybe the rest of the food there is good, but I’ll never go back.

Been a long time customer. Even have the old “Slice” card. Went recently and had a little server (couldn’t be more than 16) who stood behind the bar on her phone the whole time. The place was busy as well. To get her attention I raised my hand and she stared at me, shook her head and looked back down and talked to her server friend. The worst I have ever been treated in a restaurant. Went back the next day to speak to someone about it and was blown off. I’m done. Cutting up my card. Just terrible hires and service.

Food is okay outside of pizza. But the service here is very questionable this year.. The first time I came with a friend I sat down and our waitress (Alex) I thought was just having a bad day. But she simply doesn't have emotions to express... The second time I came with a group of 10+... We were told we could not move or sit together as a group outside because they were not allowed to move the tables, so we all left. The third time I came by myself, I was gifted (Alex) as my waitress and had the same experience as my first time with a bad day attitude and not being friendly at all. Most of the staff curses and can be heard from the main entrance... I'm not sure if I'm going ultra super classy restaurants but I've seen better service with fast food restaurants which I don't eat at... 🤷‍♂️

Coming back from our Kure beach vacation we decided to stop by this place, and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm a picky eater but everything we ordered was delicious the wings mild & hot, the pizza, pepperoni and Supreme and the peanut butter and chocolate, and vanilla and chocolate cookie ice cream sandwiches. The waitresses were very, very nice. We sat outside because we had kids with us and played games while we waited. The waitress joined in while bringing our beverages and plates out. It was all around a great experience and I will definitely be going there often.

Girls with Dough, Pizzeria and Pub is a charming and well-maintained restaurant with a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The friendly staff, including the welcoming hostess and attentive bartender Chris, provide excellent service. The establishment offers a nice bar area, traditional dining space, and a comfortable couch area. Guests praise the delicious food, particularly highlighting the gluten-free dough option for those with allergies. Reviewers also appreciate the authentic Italian feel of the cuisine.
Awesome experience! We went when they were at their slow time so we were the only ones there and it was great! We sat at the bar, watched the game, had great conversation with the bartender and enjoyed some really delicious fried ravioli and pizza. The menu is full of different foods, it's not just pizza. I can't wait to go back to try something else.

Best restaurant in Wilmington. Great variety of foods, pasta with their AMAZING GARLIC BREAD, pizza out of this world. If you don’t go once a week you’re a one star human being. Also in an amazing location to watch the sunset or just walk on the decks along the water. Owner is an amazing woman and the cooks deserve the Nobel peace prize for making the best pizza these buds ever tasted!

Great service, our server was very friendly and efficient. The food with delicious, great pizza, and even better wings in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by the wings since it’s tough to find a decent place in Wilmington with good wings. Solid place overall to come and watch a game and eat some good food.

Stopped in on a Friday night, this was our second visit. The quality of the food decreases as the crowd increases. During our first visit the restaurant was not very crowded and our pizza was well done with crispy crust and very melted cheese, during our second visit which was a busy Friday night the crust was very black and the cheese was not completely melted. I ordered the 10" cheese pizza which had very black crust, the tomato sauce was not fresh and the cheese not completely melted. Disappointed in the quality of the food. My partner ordered the Homemade Mac & Cheese which ended up being pasta in a cheese sauce that was very liquidity. Again, disappointed. We will not return.

Today, my husband and I had pizza at Girls With Dough for lunch. It was our first time there. We had the New Yorker, 14", which had sausage with fennel and pepperoni. Nice thin crust with a little char. Very good flavors throughout the pizza. The only thing I can say is that there could have been more sausage - it was pretty skimpy. Some pieces were a nice chunk, while most of it were tiny pieces; and not evenly distributed throughout the pizza. The interior was nice and I can picture it being busy at night. There's even a sitting area with sofas. Overall, it was a very tasty pizza and we would definitely go back for another meal.

Girls with dough is the best pizza in Wilmington, great mixed drinks as well, they have a cool option on their drink menu called heads or tails and the bartender picks your drink for you. The bread is 10 out of 10. We SMASHED the garlic knots. The pizza is amazing as well. When I say best in Wilmington I'm not joking. We will 100% be back.

Such a nice atmosphere! The pizza was absolutely amazing — hands down the best I’ve ever had. Better than any other pizza place I’ve been to. Every bite was delicious & so much flavor! The servers were fantastic, super friendly and helpful. I also tried a drink, and it was just as delicious. This is officially my new favorite pizza spot! Smashed the whole pizza.

Pizzeria Don Luca is a charming addition to downtown Wilmington, located in the Brooklyn Arts District. The restaurant offers delicious pizza and Tuscan cuisine, with their wings being highly recommended by patrons. Customers praise the homemade habanero olive oil that adds a unique flavor to their dishes. The staff is known for their exceptional service, often going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The outdoor dining area provides a quaint setting, making it suitable for both takeout and dine-in options.
Let me start by saying that this local pizzeria was such a great find! This outdoor picnic set up created a wonderful setting back from the beach. My fiancé and I shared the hot honey pepperoni pizza — absolutely delicious. I’m from NYC and was seriously impressed. The crispy, oven-fired crust and the sweet-spicy combo of charred pepperoni and hot honey hit all the right notes. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

We were visiting from the Atlanta, Ga area and were searching online for Gluten-Free restaurants when this pizza place popped up along with several others. The ratings were high and reviews were great so we thought that we would give it a try. There is only outdoor seating at picnic tables which worked out well because we had our dog with us! There is a nice little park across the street and we walked our dog while waiting for our pizza🍕 We had 4 people in our party, myself, my husband and our 2 adult sons along with our dog. My youngest son has Celiac so when we travel we are always looking for good gluten free food options. They offer a cauliflower crust 10" pizza which the guy who took our order said that they do not guarantee "gluten free" if someone is highly sensitive. They don't have separate prep areas so there is a chance of cross contamination. He assured us though that they do everything they can to avoid it. We decided to take our chances. We ordered a regular crust 14" Margherita, a cauliflower crust(which only comes in 10") Hawaiian and a 10" cauliflower crust Supreme. All of the pizzas were very good and my sons enjoyed their cauliflower crust pizzas! The owner came out to check on us and make sure that enjoyed our food🥰 I love it when that happens, it shows a level of pride and a desire for high quality products!

Incredible pizza! The crust is perfect and a little charred in some parts (that's a good thing). Also I have never liked this kind of thing before, but I actually loved their homemade ranch as a dip. If you don't think you like the pairing, you should try it here. I had no idea what to order and the people working here were super nice and helpful. They convinced me to try the ranch. Next time I'm in Wilmington I will have to go back. It's in a neighborhood area and there is no indoor seating, just picnic tables. You will have to figure out street parking or just park somewhere else and just walk up.

Had a craving for some pizza and wings. Drove on over and ordered at the window for a margherita pizza and five smoked wings, miso/garlic flavor. Pros and cons: wings were absolutely the best. Meat fell right off the bone, excellent taste. The pizza was thin crust and excellent taste. However, if you live greater than 10 minutes away, the pizza gets cold. They only have outdoor seating so if you order pizza, I recommend you eat it there fresh out of the oven.

Our recent visit to Don Luca was absolutely wonderful! Even though we were arriving 10 minutes past closing, the manager was incredibly kind and accommodating, happily taking our order. The pizza itself was delicious—perfectly crispy crust with those delightful toasted spots I love. Plus, plenty of parking (on a Wednesday). They have outdoor seating only, and the order and sit process is similar to what you might know if you’ve ever ordered boardwalk ice cream. I Highly recommend this gem for amazing food and service!

This was not great “NC Pizza.” This was just great pizza. Ordered the Margherita and Hot Honey Pepperoni. Both were delicious and just fantastic pizza. Vacationing from the NE and you alway hear people say you can’t find great pizza. Wrong! If this place was local to me, this would be my go to pizza. It was fantastic and the three dudes working the place were cool as hell too. Loved and can’t wait to go back.

Cugino Forno in Wilmington is a must-visit for pizza lovers. Customers rave about the high-quality and authentic ingredients used in their pizzas, resulting in a chewy, charred crust topped with sweet smoked ham and velvety Buffalo mozzarella. The sauce is particularly noteworthy. Despite being roughly the same size and price as popular chains like Dominos or Papa Johns, customers insist that Cugino Forno offers better quality and healthier options.
Their pizza will make you feel like you are back in Italy! So delicious, we had their margeritha pizza and Supremo Italiano and honestly both were great! In the supremo you can taste the quality of the meats and in the margarita each flavour shines! Their desserts are just as yummy! We had their double decker tiramisu, homemade pistachio cannoli and a few different flavoured gelatos. Each dessert was good!

I've only visited the area three times but this one was the best pizza I have tried. However if you come in while it's busy good luck. Not necessarily because of staff but because it's basically communal seating. This place can fill up quick. Pictures don't do the pizzas justice
Eric B — Google review
Excellent Neopolitan style pizzas made with very high quality ingredients and baked in wood ovens. The crusts have a desirable char. Bottled beer and soft drinks. Salads and Gelato. This pizzaria came highly recommend. It did not disappoint.
Chip — Google review
This pizza joint was truly disappointing, to the point that I was looking for another pizza spot while sitting in the restaurant. First off the star of the show aka the crust, was my least favorite part. I understand that Neapolitan crust is supposed to be slightly soft but this was extremely floppy, undercooked and heavily charred on the top. They do have a sign up that says all pizzas cooked well done so that didn’t help the argument. I’ve had soggy pizza like this before and still loved the overall taste but this wasn’t the case either, the pizza lacked in overall taste. Upside, the desserts were good. Not sure if made in house but worth trying the cakes and cannoli. If the cannoli was freshly filled it would make for a more crunchy crust and in turn I think would make this way better but still good. The cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had, even though the crust was soggy the filling made up for it. 2.6/5 ⭐️ Food was reasonably priced, came out in a decent time frame, and attached to hi wire brewing so you can hop over for a beer with your pie. I hope this was just a one time fluke because I had high hopes for this place and had heard good things from a friend.

Warehouse style restaurant. Bench seating utensils at every table. Pizzas didn’t take long to make and arrived at our table nice and hot. White pizza and marinara pizza. Crust was burnt in some spots but that was expected from a wood-fired oven. Crust was nice and thin, a bit soggy in the middle. Toppings were enough and not very greasy. A good balance of toppings and crust. I used a variation of the New York fold technique. I fold the tip inwards then the New York fold. That’s because the tip was too thin and a bit soggy to hold itself up. I ate four pieces and was just full. One pizza could feed up to three people.

Jay's Incredible Pizza is known for its flagship pizza, The Incredible Pizza, which features homemade dough and sauce topped with layers of mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ham, salami, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, garlic and sausage. The experience at Jay's is reminiscent of childhood memories at a local carryout joint. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is casual with a few chairs to wait for your order.
I’ve been away and a couple of years later, so glad to see Jay’s Incredible is still making yummy pizza. Ordered the white pizza with extra garlic, extra cheese and artichokes and everything was delish! I even think it’s better than I remembered. Extra cheesy, just the way I like it. The pizza tastes fresh out of the oven and not greasy

Jays has been our go to pizza places. Crispy crust and beautiful toppings that have so much flavor. Honestly the best affordable pizza in town. Tonight we left with the wrong order. Called the store on our short drive home and asked if we could come back (HAD to have our cheese perfection pizza!!) They insisted on delivering our pie and Jay himself brought us our dinner. Couldn’t be more thankful for the service and craft of this restaurant!

This was such a wonderful surprise! It was ready on time, the staff was nice, and it was DELICIOUS. The antipasta salad, buffalo wings, and the pesky chicken pizza are all on my reorder list. I highly recommend!

I’m not sure why they don’t have more reviews? This is the best pizza in Wilmington! Pickle pizza is my favorite but even the plain cheese is excellent, and that’s coming from a city girl. I would also recommend the Cesar solely based on the dressing. To make things even better they have a “pizza of the week” rotation where they experiment with weird toppings like jalapeño popper pizza 😍
Kitona R — Google review
The food at Jay's reminds me of my childhood. I grew up near Asheboro, NC, and we had the equivalent of Jay's called George's Carryout. In the early days, George waited on you, just as Jay took my order, shaped my crust, and adorned my pizza. This isn't just a pizza. It is a well thought out flavor experience. Service was stellar. The atmosphere is that of every carryout. A few chairs to wait 15 minutes for your pizza. A cooler with soft drinks and a single t.v. round out the atmospheric aspect. I ordered the Pesky Chicken and was told that it was going to be really good. Fresh basil pesto had just been made, and it was my base. Take a look at my photos 📸. Pictures really do speak a thousand words.

This was my first time ordering at Jay’s incredible pizza. First off I’d like to say the young gentleman that took my order around 12 noon on 8-24-23 was very polite and well mannered. When my order came up he offered to take it out to my car for me. Wow such awesome service. I ordered two pizzas, first one was, Hawaiian - the banana peppers and feta cheese. The second one was a large that’s incredible - the fresh garlic. Also an order pepperoni rolls with the marinara sauce. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Jay’s incredible pizza 🍕 I took some pics to send to my son so he knew lunch was ready. I know I didn’t the lid off when I took the pic of the rolls but you can still see them.

Found this location on Google and it didn't disappoint after the first place I went too and wasnt received well. The owner of this pizzeria was very polite and made my visit a nice one and I will be going back because after tasting his pizzas it was on point the sauce was good but customer service will always be the determining factor if I want to spend my money in your business. Thanks Jay for making me feel welcome in your restaurant.

Jax 5th Avenue Deli & Ale House offers a mix of traditional bar and bistro food, including deli sandwiches made with Boars Head meats. The restaurant has a retro airstream-style facade and an expansive interior with plenty of bar seating. Visitors can enjoy friendly service, outdoor dining, and a variety of local beers on tap. One unique touch is the complimentary appetizer of sliced pickles that guests receive when they sit down.
Jax is an unassuming restaurant we found while visiting Wilmington for a day. While not very busy there was a steady amount of customers and pickup/delivery orders. The complimentary pickles brought to your table was a pleasant surprise and they were delicious! We ordered the meatball melt which my husband said was delicious and I had the fig and gorgonzola pizza which was a little crispy but good. The pizza portion seemed smaller at first but it was loaded with toppings and I could barely finish it. We also ordered the soft pretzel with beer cheese and it definitely tasted homemade and not like a normal soft pretzel appetizer you get at most restaurants. It was an excellent choice for a dinner out while on vacation and we would recommend it to anyone in the area.
J M — Google review
Went for dinner and the attraction for me was the diner look and feel. I sat at the bar as I was dining by myself. Bartender greeted me and was friendly. I sat and she had provided me the menus and asked if I wanted pickles, a little confused and was informed that they give a little jar of pickles instead of chips at the bar. I must say there were some solid pickle chips. I ordered a pastrami sandwich with the Mac and cheese as the bartender told me it was a solid side choice. The sandwich was good on toasted bread. The Mac and cheese was solid and nice and cheesy. Overall a great meal and service was quick also.

Do you ever go somewhere and just feel inclined to write a review it was so good? The food was A+, we also got the spinach artichoke dip and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Portions were great, pricing was reasonable, service was friendly and timely. Definitely will be coming back here!

The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. The TVs were not overpowering like they are at a bunch of sports bars. My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here. We had the beer, cheese pretzel, the French dip and the beef dip. They might’ve been a little small in portion, but were phenomenal in flavor! They serve house made pickles and house made ranch that were delicious. My only critique… The waitress seemed like she needed a cup of coffee or two. The poor lady was very sweet, but forgot my husband is beer sample and just seem genuinely exhausted.

Great place to stop for a quick bite and a drink. Homemade pickles as an appetizer are a nice touch! Sandwich and pizza choices are plentiful. Everything we tried was very flavorful! Visited for lunch on a Sunday, and it was almost full for the entire time we were here.

Great Food, Great Atmosphere, food is delivered quickly. Chicken salad Chibatta and Potato salad is Amazing. In house pickles are a must with whatever you're drinking. I even buy extra to take home. I personally have not tried their pizzas but everyone that I have talked to at the bar says they are amazing. Ordering one to go next time.

My husband found this Gem when we moved to Wilmington in 2018 and have been returning here time and time again. We have never had a bad meal here. Must tries....the Crab cake pizza (my fav), the Greenpoint, the Wall Street Reuben, not on the menu but is always on special, the Wu Tang ( Hubby's fav), smoked salmon deviled eggs and instead of chips as your side opt for the potato salad (I'm still trying to figure out the recipe!) Definitely, get the complimentary pickles! They also have a great selection of beer and cider. We have never been disappointed and always bring family to Jax when they visit!

It was good. I didn't realize that the potato chips came in a bag that they weren't home made.So I bought seventy five cents worth of ranch dressing and didn't realize I didn't need that, because I didn't want to eat the processed chips. But the sandwich was incredibly good.

Overpriced for sure. Dish presentation needs to improve by far. I Had a chicken Parm.... Tiny peace of meat... Requested Alfredo Sauce instead and was never told it would be a nice extra 💰 to replace with Alfredo Sauce... Had I known I simply would have ordered a Simple chicken Alfredo.... There are so many delicious Italian restaurants worth every penny. This one unfortunately, was not one of those.

Tonight, my husband and I visited Terrazzo Trattoria for a second time. Just as we experienced during our first experience, the food and service was exceptional. We tried the Rigatino Ala Vodka tonight as recommended by our incredible server, Ashley, and it was delicious. She was so efficient and ensured our every need was met; she made our visit so enjoyable m. We’ll definitely return!!!!

Just awful service. First of all no table ware or napkins until after we got our appetizers. And we had to ask for it. We waited another hour for our entrees. And the entrees were brought out two at a time in 15 minute intervals. The entire dinner took 2 hours. And they placed a 20% tip in the total. So much for "to insure prompt service". Would not go back.
Tom J — Google review
Absolutely appalling service-never again! IF I could give zero stars, I would! I've have better service at a vending machine. We had a party of 8 therefore a 20% gratuity was automatically included and you could tell the waitress, Maya, knew it!! No sense of urgency for our table. She had one other table of four, which she basically spoon fed them as we thirst to death. Was it because gratuity was included and she had to work for that tip? And Refills? Forget it! We sat with empty, no ice glasses for over an hour until we interrupted our waitress to please refill them. She never cleaned off the empty dishes until she was ready for us to leave. She said she would get in trouble if she didn't clean our table. I will say our food was tasty although could have used some more sauce plus we had to ask for bread. It took an hour and a half to receive our meals. The restuarant was not full. There was no explanation for this type of service. I mentioned our poor service to Maya. She seemed irritated that I called her out on her service. I work hard and if I plan to splurge for a nice dining experience, much less a special celebration for our friend, then I expect it. I did not dispute my tip because we were served and it was my friends birthday. I hope Maya considers my constructive criticism in the future. Not to mention... she was dressed all in black, although it was a tank top and cropped biker pants. Very unprofessional all the way through! Save yourself the time and money-go literally anywhere else!

I'm going to chalk this up to a bad experience - restaurant was not at all busy yet I waited for over 10 minutes before I was even greeted at the hostess stand. I ended up sitting at the bar, where service was indifferent at best.. Maybe because I was a single individual (??) - lot of focus on the three other parties of multiple people around seated around me. I did not receive the complimentary bread until I asked, once food was delivered, I was never revisited asking if all well with the meal and so on. I had penne and vodka sauce with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. Chicken was dry, not much of it and not many sun-dried tomatoes......
Phyllis M — Google review
Friends suggested this place so we gave it a try. Oue server was wonderful, but the food? Not very good at ALL!. Calamari was not hot and more like little hard fried pieces of whatever with absolutely no flavor. (Honestly the worst we have ever had.) Caesar salad was ok. Veal parmesan was over cooked/fried and burnt on the edges. The spaghetti served with it was mushy (definately just sitiing in water in the kitchen to be served through the night.) I HATE wasting good money on bad food. We will not go back.

Had an unpleasant experience. It was so hot. They had fans but no AC. The heat not only had us brushing flies away from our food but there were dead flies on the window ledges. You could hear other customers complaining about the heat. One group came in and was gonna stay and dine in but the heat made them take their order out.I ordered a pizza pie it came to us under cooked. The dough never turned to crust on our pizza. Same thing with garlic nots. Had a toasted look on the outside but in the inside the dough wasn't fully cooked. We also ordered wings and chicken Alfredo. Both came out tasting like they cook but never taste what they are actually cooking to make sure the prepared the food right. They tasted so bland.

Relatively quick. I had the chicken parm (frozen?) The sauce was a little watery. Nice family place (arcade). Simple place for a gathering, in my opinion. Prices are reasonable, for what you get. Atmosphere is simple and friendly. The floor can use an upgrade. In all, it's OK

Absolutely love love love this place! I live about an hour away, and every time I go to town I visit it! The servers are all really nice & pretty much on top of things. The food has never once failed to amaze me either! I usually try something new off the menu each time I go, and so far I've thoroughly enjoyed every dish! We eat out alot in my family, so we have a pretty broad spectrum, and this place is a winner, hands-down everytime!!

Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of Wrightsville Beach, Artisano Pizza and Gelato is a delightful culinary haven brought to you by the same team behind downtown's GelaRto. This charming eatery boasts an enticing menu featuring thin and crispy pizzas, fresh salads, and hearty pasta dishes, complemented by a full selection of wines, beers, and cocktails.
The Margarita lunch special was fantastic! Highly recommend! We didn’t have room for the gelato, so will have to go back. We thought this restaurant would have been a lot busier had people known how exceptional the food is … so writing this review to inform the masses. BEST restaurant near the beach. Service was also excellent.

This is such a well kept secret in Wilmington!! The food, service and ambiance was Amazing!!!! I highly recommend the pizza, pasta, burgers and gelato! Everything tasted amazing and was served in a decent amount of time. Bonus that they have a full service bar, trivia night and a robotic server that brings your food and sings!!! The kids loved it!!! Treat yourself to this restaurant the next time you want to go out- you’ll be glad you did!!!

After driving a long way to the beach and being told of a 1hr 40 minute wait from a different establishment, I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. I was absolutely delighted with the decorations and lighting. Very unique. The gelato display was so eye catching and as I was able to taste several of the flavors, it was amazing. I ordered two gelato shakes; strawberry and cream mixed with banana, and coconut mixed with hazelnut. They were both very delicious. For a meal I ordered the Spaghetti de Mare which was my adventurous pick since I don't eat much sea food, and oh my I finished the entire bowl. It was so good I was talking about it for hours at the beach. Additionally I ordered the Carpaccio pizza without the mushrooms and that was just as delicious. All in all the service was impeccable and I will be going back with plenty of friends. Side note- There was a customer who brought in a flood white dog right through the eating area without asking for permission by the establishment workers. And once told by someone (I think a manager?) that she couldn't have the dog inside. She decided to claim it was a service dog but didn't have any identification for said dog. Although that wouldn't have changed the fact that dogs can't be in there (and there is an outside dining area if she would have liked) she insisted that she had to leave although the worker said she didn't have to go. Unfortunately for her she missed out on some awesome food, and props to the worker for standing his ground and knowing the law!!!! Rude customer-0 Awesome Worker-1

So Yummy!!! All the food I had with my family was delicious. The pizza, cheeseburger, pasta and the gelato was made with fresh ingredients. The staff was really nice, great service and the food came out quickly. Treat yourself to this restaurant!!

The pizza reminded me of true Italian pizza. They serve yummy, thin crust "pie" with a blend of 4 cheeses. Gelato was amazing; I got the mint chocolate chip. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

First and foremost- GO EAT HERE NOW! Life is short, go eat dessert first, and start here- If you like gelato, theirs is amazing amazing amazing! They have a whole bunch of different flavors some of which change to other even more amazing flavors depending on the day. You can get 1, 2, 3 scoops, or I’ve heard a rumor that you can order a “one of everything” to share (or not) with friends. That’s absolutely happening in my life soon! If you are indecisive like me, the staff will patiently let you try everything. To make the gelato even more magical, Artisano’s features several of their gelatos mixed with booze (rum raisin gelato with rum, hazelnut gelato with baileys) and various cocktails made with gelato and booze. Sooooo tasty!!! Alright, now that you’re full and happy with gelato, tell your tummy it’s time for a real meal too because you do not want to miss this! The caprese salad comes with super fresh beautiful buffalo mozzarella and fresh produce, the charcuterie boards (which you can completely eat as your meal, have catered, get for takeout, or share as an app) are filled with delicious options created by the owner, David Scott, who has excellent taste, the pizzas are thin crust and HUGE (I usually share one pizza with at least 3 other people; you can have them on cauliflower crust if you want!), the pastas look incredible (I have gotten stuck on pizza every time so far), and there is a lovely wine list to go along with the delicious food. Artisanos is located right before the bridge over to Wrighstville Beach, so it’s the perfect stop to/from the beach or to grab to-go food on the way there. If you want to eat inside, there’s lots of seating- tables and barstools. The gelato is at a counter near the front along with a freezer with pints of gelato to go. The wait staff has all been great (Colleen was so lovely the last time I was there!). David Scott, the owner, is the nicest person ever! If you need ANYTHING, ask for him- he will make custom cheeseboards/charcuterie plates, help coordinate hosting events at the restaurant, make custom gelato creations, etc. He makes the environment of Artisanos so much fun you just keep coming back!

Made to order THHIINNN authentic fresh pizza!!😍🤩😍🤩 after a day at the beach I feel like a thin pizza dough is more REFRESHING. We added SPICY Italian sausage to our Buffalino pizza and WOO IT WAS ACTUALLY SPICY🤣🤩😍 so be aware! The Ballon bread was fun! And the honeycomb Gelato was delicious it was like toasty tasting almost nutty like flavor, it reminded me of that candy bit-o-honey if anyone else remembers that😂😍 I want to come back and try EVERYTHING! and I believe it was the owner who came over to talk to us at the end of the night and even told me about one of the high end ingredients he used in my cocktail and I totally appreciated that, very personable staff!

Decided to have a night in due to the weather and grabbed a margarita pizza, the prosciutto pizza and balloon bread. Both pizzas was basically a tortilla with cheese and slices of prosciutto or a basil leaf for the margarita. The ballon bread is just pizza crust with no sauce. And before anyone says it. We just got back from Italy no this isn’t authentic pizza, I’m not sure you could call this pizza. Disappointing overall.

Pizzetta's Pizza is a delightful family-friendly Italian eatery that captures the essence of classic New York-style cuisine. With a menu brimming with delicious options, it offers everything from gourmet pizzas like Buffalo Chicken and Chicken Marsala to comforting staples such as chicken and eggplant parmesan. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for families or anyone craving authentic Italian flavors.
My favorite pizza place in eastern NC! Try the lunch special 2 🍕 and 1 🍹 for $5-$7. Hands down my favorite pizza place in Wilmington or Leland. Fresh gourmet pizzas with tons of toppings that you can tell are quality. My favorite is Nona’s but I love several others as well. I’ve never had a slice of pizza here that wasn’t great.

We called and ordered a single pizza for delivery, we were told our wait time would be 1 1/2 hours. It arrived within 40 minutes which was a kind of surprise, but a good one. When I opened the box though, I was disappointed. Of all the times I’ve ordered hot, fresh, pizza, it’s never looked like this much of a mess. Couldn’t even pick it up. The taste was decent, but I don’t know if it was worth the mess and having alllllll the pepperoni end up on basically one piece of pizza..

Hands down the best NY style pizza AND FOOD. I don’t eat much italian food anymore but sometimes I do and I really love how this food is just like back home on Long Island. I was feeling homesick the other day and for about an hour I got to feel as if I was back home eating in a Long Island pizzeria/restaurant. The owners are from Long Island too! The chicken and eggplant parm are perfect. The garlic knots are great! The pink sauce is outstanding and the pizza is seriously just like home. I have tried many pizza places around here and Pizzettas is the absolute CLOSEST to authentic NY style. The service is fantastic as well. Great people work here. The only thing they need is a bigger location and a bar! Try this place for sure!

A solid Italian eatery with a variety of gourmet pizza options ranging from Buffalo Chicken to Chicken Marsala. Pizzetta's also has strombolis and your typical Italian staples. My visit consisted of a large Garden Salad with a Broccoli and Cheese Stromboli and an order of the garlic linguine. No reason for 4 stars instead of 5 other than I've been to some truly awe-inspiring Italian restaurants that deserve that extra star. I will definitely be back here.

Antonio's Pizza And Pasta is a popular family restaurant located in the Lowes and Walmart shopping center at Monkey Junction. The bright and cheerful eatery offers seating for about forty inside, with additional space for twenty diners outside. Under new ownership since the beginning of the year, Antonio's has maintained its reputation for delicious food and excellent service. The food was great and the waitress was awesome! Will definitely be going back!

Saturday evening...NFL Playoffs...and a casual night at home called for a pizza pie. After searching for some place local to order from, and never had before...my wife & I chose to order takeout from Antonio's Pizza & Pasta Midtown. This was our first time trying Antonio's & it was very tasty. FOOD: Large 18", 5-topping pizza. The toppings we chose were italian sausage, banana peppers, mushrooms, ham & onions. I thoroughly enjoyed the large, thin slices of sausage, evenly distributed throughout the pizza. The veggies were abundant throughout and tasted very fresh. The fact that the pizza was balanced with just the right amount banana peppers and a generous spread of mushrooms, insinuated that the pizza-maker takes pride in his / her abilities. The sauce was very nice. Not too much...not too little. It had just the right amount of tang, proper seasoning & the tomato base didn't overpower the toppings. The pizza dough was definitely above-average, fired up in a commercial, stainless steel pizza oven. The crust had a soft crunch in certain segments but wasn't overdone, nor too doughy. The temperature and execution of cooking time was on point! I prefer a wood fire or brick oven pizza dough bc it adds a certain smoky flavor and adds more of a crunch, but Antionio's did just fine. Best part about this fully-loaded pizza, that can fill the bellies of an army...not greasy at all!! Antonio's doesn't try to mask, add to nor try to boost flavor with unnecessary oils & fats. SCORE: 4 STARS!! SERVICE: Since this was a takeout order, I cannot speak on a full service scale, but I will score in accordance to a typical take-out order. The employee who fielded my phone call in for the order was kind and used proper manners / courtesy. During the pick-up, it was as any other average order. I did not feel rushed and the same courtesy was paid during the interraction with staff. The estimated time stated over the phone was 10 - 15 mins. After I arrived 15 minutes later, I had to wait 5 additional minutes. Packets of parmesan & red pepper flakes were given after request, but was not offered upfront. Above average customer interraction. SCORE: 2.9 STARS!! OVERALL SCORE: Better-than-corporate pizza. Fresh ingredients. Edge-to-edge toppings. Balanced sauce. Balanced cheese portion. Little grease and nice crust. This is what you will get from Antionio's takeout. It's good pie. I've had better...I've had much worse. I'll order from again for sure. 3.8 STARS!!

I was out shopping so I ordered my pizza through the app. When I ordered through the app I must have hit some extra topping that I did not want and didn't realize it until I got the email confirmation. I called them about the mistake but it had already been made. They remade my order no questions asked. I felt horrible but was glad they were so understanding. Food was amazing as usual. They are my go to place when I want a pizza that reminds me of NY. You guys are the best!

They staff seemed very friendly at first the pizza came out and it was very good we used a free coupon that they gave us for a free large pizza. We said thank you left a tip and left she called us from the parking lot saying we had to pay $1.07 cents left to pay for ranch. we went back in and she said she wasn’t gonna pay for our ranch and she got super sassy. I understand if you are trying to get your name out and give a free pizza but don’t get upset at the costumer when you give a free pie for a coupon if you want a bigger tip I totally get that but make your coupons half off a pizza or buy one get one free, not here’s a whole pizza for free if your waitress is gonna be super rude to the customer. Just really disappointed in the waitress and the food was good but I won’t go back because of the sour taste that women left in my mouth.

Order a large pizza and an appetizer Antonio’s at 7 p.m. an hour later I called because the food was not delivered. The person that answered the phone said their delivery driver was “leaving now”. I waited another HOUR and still no food. I called a little after 9 p.m. and the restaurant was closed. I had already paid for the food and was hungry. I left a voicemail and two days ago and have yet to hear back. The food finally came around 9:47 and was cold. I waited almost 3 hours for the food. The microwave pizza was good; had to throw the appetizer away. Overall horrible experience. Would not recommend ordering delivery.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. As someone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, I was thrilled with my visit to Pie’s On Pizzeria & Grill.
My mom, 2 kids and I went there last week to celebrate mine and my son's birthdays. We had never eaten here before so I didn't know what to expect. The pizza across the board has been great. The crust has a good crunch to it and it has been consistent each time I have eaten here. The food in general is always good. Vito's Midtown Pizza, located at 2305 College Road in Wilmington, North Carolina, is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. Visitors have compared it to NYC-style pizza, praising its thin and perfectly baked crust that can be folded without being underdone. The flavors of the sauce and toppings are described as perfect. The cheese bread is also highly recommended, with some calling it a delicious 8-inch personal cheesy pie.
Absolutely incredible everytime !! The sweet girl working tonight 6/30 gave my toddler a cup of cheese and that made his night more than she knows ! I love that they have a drive thru and you are always promptly greeted when you pull up ! They also have awesome lunch specials cheapest one in town for sure !

I give your money to someone else. I stopped here to pick up an order and they said they didn’t even have it in their system and would have to manually enter it and would take 45 minutes. There were at least four other people waiting before I even got there. I don’t care how good the food is, but if the service stinks you need to take your business elsewhere. There’s plenty of decent pizza places around here.

Thin crust, freshly made and simply yummy!!!

I’m only giving 4 stars because we have ordered 3 times now. First 2 times were incredible…we ordered today and our pizza was ice cold when delivered. It’s currently in the oven to be reheated. Our delivery driver took 10 minutes to get from the store to our house so there is no way it would get that cold during transport. We are “kid free” for the first time in over a year and wanted to order a pizza we like…all the toppings rather than the just pepperoni or cheese. A stay home date night that was just pizza, comfies and decompress. Now I’m in the kitchen waiting for pizza to warm up in the oven because microwave reheat just isn’t it…not in the plans for tonight!

If you're on the hunt for a pizza experience that tantalizes your taste buds, look no further than Wheelz Pizza. Since its inception in 2019, this vibrant eatery has been serving up delicious pies from its cozy headquarters on 17th Street and has recently expanded to include a second location near Wrightsville Beach. Known for their commitment to organic ingredients and an exceptional three-day cold-fermented sourdough crust, Wheelz Pizza is quickly becoming a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Wheelz is definitely one of the best pizzerias in the United States. The sourdough crust really sets it apart from even the best pizzerias in New York, together with high end ingredients. Pizza comes on a wire mesh to keep it crispy even after delivery. We loved it so much that we went back the next day. Bonus: chocolate chip cookies that among the best I’ve ever had. A great reason to come back to wrightsville beach!

Food was good. It was just not really my jam when it comes to pizza. It is quality but I prefer old school NY pizza. I was annoyed that the only choices to drink were Coke, Sprite or water. The place itself is... odd. Maybe it is new and still in process of being retro fitted? It was pretty clean though. My husband is easier to please and really enjoyed his pizza.
H P — Google review
Moseyed on into check this place out on a Wednesday afternoon. Immediately noticed the place is really sparse and plain. There was one guy working there. The drinks are in a deli case at the front and he apologized that the bottled water was not cold since he had just picked it up from Sam’s. We ordered chicken bacon ranch 14 inch pizza and it was very delicious. We all loved it. My husband went back to the counter for another drink and could not get the employee to the counter even after shouting “hello” several times. He was working alone and in the back. This place has zero atmosphere, a temporary partition that separates the space. I believe they must do most of their business as delivery to the island.
Molly B — Google review
We door dashed this pizza to our hotel. It was pretty pricey, and even if we would have ordered in restaurant it was kinda high in price. The pepperoni pizza was the winner as was the buffalo chicken pizza. The buffalo sauce and chicken they used were really good. We didn’t love the Italian sausage pizza, the chunks of sausage were huge, would have been way better as crumbles. Forgot to take a picture of anything but the pepperoni pizza.
Ashley C — Google review
Overall, it's a solid pizza. They have chewy crust, which we like. The ingredients were fresh and not tiny cut to save money. The sauce is not acidic but nice and mellow not to take away from the flavor of the toppings. Overall, it is a solid eight out of ten when it comes to pizza. Oh yeah, we had the supreme with pepperoni, ham, onion, and green peppers. Only down side is they sell can drinks and do not have fountain drinks.

Italian Bistro - Monkey Junction is a charming restaurant located at the foot of Market Street, offering stunning views of the Cape Fear River from its individual dining balconies. The menu features homemade entrees such as osso bucco, burrata ravioli, branzino, and veal that have garnered much praise. Customers have enjoyed dishes like margarita pizza with crispy yet unburnt dough and quality mozzarella.
This was my second time eating here, the first was takeout (chicken parmigiana, which was absolutely delish). This time we dined in, and I was craving a good Caesar salad…they definitely delivered! I paired it with a small buffalo chicken pizza, also so tasty. This could be the start of a beautiful relationship since I live in the Junction. Our server, Sutton, was impeccable! Super attentive, quick, and so sweet. Truly can’t rave about her enough. The rest of the staff had warm smiles and made us feel so welcome. The only downside is the AC situation; it’s a bit warm inside. Thankfully the fans helped move the air, but cooler temps would make the experience even better.

Tried it for the first time last week. The supreme pizza and wings were pretty good! Do not get the three cheese pasta, at least for take out. It was not edible, extremely salty and greasy. We had to throw it away, we couldn’t eat it. Giving 3 stars because of the bad pasta. But would do take out again for pizza and wings.
Carla M — Google review
My boyfriend and I decided to try this place since it’s new and just down the street from us. We love Italian food and frequent another restaurant in town but it’s located in Seagate, so a bit of a drive for us. Italian Bistro is tiny, tables are seated close together. Too close. The man sitting at the table next to us, put all of his items (hat and the entire spice rack from the table) between him and I, making it awkward and impossible for me to get up if I wanted to. Looking at the menu, it’s a big menu. Almost too big. Too many pastas to choose from in my opinion and we felt rushed from our waitress to order. So we started off with bruschetta. After we ordered bruschetta, we were given a basket of bread. Would’ve been nice to know we got free bread before we ordered a $10 appetizer that had 6 tiny slices of bread on it. We both got pasta - my boyfriend got the Arrabiatti. He thought it was good and very spicy. He has a severe dairy allergy and unfortunately, that left him with 4 options pasta wise. The Italian place we go to regularly, makes everything so fresh that the chef can adjust and remove dairy from 85% of the dishes if need be. So this dish, while he enjoyed it, was the only one that he could eat and enjoy. I got the 3 cheese chicken pasta and I loved everything but the chicken. The white wine sauce was more liquid than sauce, giving the pasta a little flavor. The veggies in the dish were delicious and so was the tortellini. Huge portions though. Overall: we’ve had better pasta in town, hands down. And for the price they charge, it’s definitely not worth it for us. Most dishes are $17-$20 and then you have to add an extra $4-8 for whatever protein you want added to it. The atmosphere was rushed for a Monday but they are relatively new. We did decide we will go back at some point to try their pizza though. It looked delicious and we both wish we got that instead of pasta! If you live in Monkey Junction and don’t want to drive to other parts of town and like Italian food, then this is really your only option. So go support them!

When this restaurant first opened it was great, service, the food was excellent and atmosphere was very nice. The past 3 times we've ordered it has been terrible. The first time I thought it was an off night decided to give it another try, second time was absolutely atrocious it wasn't even edible, Alfredo had half and quarter pieces of RAW garlic cloves all throughout the dish the bread was pale uncooked actually cold in the center the garlic knots the same only floating in garlic butter. We called and spoke with the manager whom said he would credit my account (by this time I'm out $60.00+) No credit just a half attempted apology the third time only ordered sandwiches (how can you mess up an Italian sandwich) well they were just as terrible. One only had a single small pepperoni and a half slice of salami the other didn't have any pepperoni at all. So now I've learned my lesson after $100.00 to them plus going to grocery store to buy food to cook. I do not recommend this restaurant any longer.

Excellent service and food. We were all very happy with our meals. I ordered the Gabriella and it was outstanding! It's a large portion and what I couldn't finish is pictured here!

Some of the best pizza we've had in Wilmington. Had rustic and Ceasars Salad and both very good. Green and Margherita pizza and also good. Definitely come again.

Welcoming atmosphere with pizza prep in the front entrance. No wait time for service. Half price Off wine on Sundays. Went there for Mother's Day dinner. Food was well presented with generous portions and very fresh! Abbie S. Was our server and she was so informative and attentive! Enjoyed our first experience as new to the area. It will be one of our new favorites! Nice welcome to Wilmington!

Ordered stromboli to go. Dough was not cooked. Not even toasted. Yuck. And barely even any toppings!! I really really want to like this place but this meal was disgusting.🤢 Have eaten here a few times, and it just keeps going downhill. **The picture makes it look better than in person.

Pizza restaurant
Salita Pizza, located in Wilmington, North Carolina, is a popular spot known for its delicious Italian cuisine and especially its mouthwatering pizzas. Visitors rave about the burst of flavors in every bite and praise the crispy yet chewy crust of their pizzas. The use of high-quality ingredients is evident in their mushroom pizza and bagels that are described as 'to die for.' The establishment also offers a variety of other delectable options such as salads, ice cream, and mezze spreads.
Just an overall extremely special and unique place. I’ve eaten here dozens of times since they’ve opened and never been disappointed. Literally every component of every dish is the highest quality available and so well thought out. Plus the owners + entire staff are all very nice people. Looove this place so much ☺️

Only got to stop by for bagels but this place was the cutest! Can’t speak for pizza or ice cream, I do want to go back. Our bagels were served untoasted and with cream cheese in takeaway ramekins. We had anticipated fully “made” and wrapped bagels like we saw in pics... Small let down. But the flavors were definitely there, and really inventive. We also got the pecan cinnamon roll thing, and I’m not gonna lie, it was awful 🙊Very pretty looking but completely dry and stale. Definitely want to come back for the other menu items.

Not sure how this place “only” has 4.6 stars. Definitely a 5+ from me. Their peach nduja pizza special was probably my favorite pizza I’ve ever had. The flavors were curated so well and the sourdough crust was perfectly crisp and slightly charred. And don’t miss their morning pastries. The sweet sourdough focaccia and olive oil muffins are out of this world—equally as much of a masterpiece as the pizza. Should be called Salita Pizza AND Bakery. The fact they use local and organic ingredients is incredibly important and worth all the praise. If your complaint happens to be the price—let me tell you, it’s a worthy investment—the prices are actually very good considering the quality and cost of these ingredients. Your body will thank you! Hope this worthy place continues getting lots of support!

What a lovely gem! The pizza was phenomenal - fresh ingredients, fired hot, and great crust. And the soft serve!!! Omg I did not know how much I needed olive oil on my ice cream.

Amazing pizza and my favorite Lemon pizza. I didn’t expected that flavor so I’m happy to tried it. I think the pizza was a little expensive and the size was very small but excellent flavor. Next time I’m going to try the sorbet

This is an absolutely fantastic spot in the middle of the Cargo District. The pizza is spectacular - I had the Italian Sausage and my wife had the Lemon pizza, which we both completely finished. Very possibly the best pizza in Wilmington. We will definitely be back!

Pizza pretty good. But, the ordering process is a little confusing. You go to a window. No menu. Until some grumpy dude opens a window. Then, they give you a grubby menu to look at. You order. Stand around awkwardly. There is no system to text when ready. So, you have to go back and check. Got pizza. No napkins offered or available. Staff super unfriendly and not helpful. Won’t be back sadly.
Lisa B — Google review
The pizza is fresh, natural and pretty good tasting. My main issue is the size and price. They are charging Large or XL prices for what is essentially a personal pan pizza. I ordered three pizzas for the family. And when I saw 66.62 dollars I thought "wow that's expensive but if they're probably a decent size. Then I saw them , 4 slices per pizza that barely lasted three bites per slice. 66.62 dollars for three personal pizzas with no drinks or sides. Yeah no not worth it by any means.

Green Line Pizza & Steak 2 is a beloved spot in the Ogden neighborhood, known for its exceptional customer service, prompt delivery, and a loyalty rewards program. The menu features delectable options like rustic dough pizzas with fresh toppings, mouthwatering Ribeye Cheesesteaks oozing with whiz, and all-natural burgers and fries. Regulars rave about the chewy crust of the pizzas and the quality of the toppings.
Steak & Cheese stuffed pizza is amazing. I haven't been able to order anything else bc it is that good. It is the same steak they use in their sandwiches so I know the cheese steaks must be amazing. Service has always been great as well.

Had a delicious lunch at this place on Saturday. First time there and it was nice. This establishment is in an old Bojangles location. Staff was nice. The cheese steak with french fries was good and so was the chicken stromboli. There was a very nice blonde headed girl with a cool nose piercing that served us complementary fried sugar/cinnamon donuts..yum! There was one downside and it was that the tea taste a little off. Southerns love a good tea🥃. Will return.

My husband and I went yesterday after work. When we went we noticed there was a fly issue. The moment we got our food we were bombarded by small flys. It was gross. We ended up getting boxes, but it was so unsettling that we just threw the food out once we got home. This location is no where near the same as the first location they opened. We will not come back to this location.
