Palace grounds McDonald's is a shambles. Over a 10 minute wait for 2 breakfast meals at 10am in the morning. Priority being given to just eat delivery orders, long blonde haired girl on service counter couldn't care less with a poor attitude towards people waiting waiting for food who were sitting in. Handed me my order in a take out bag. When I told her we were sitting in she just tipped out the bag onto a tray and said "here you go " and walked off. I remember the days when McDonald's used to be fast food. Not anymore.

It’s okay for a McDonald’s service can be quite slow at times without any real reason, having said that I don’t work there so perhaps there is a reason why. Food is hit or miss also sometimes cold other times freshly cooked. Service from the staff is very hit or miss Iv seen myself going up to ask for sauce and being ignored for a good 5 minutes. Over all I would say it’s okay and I still do go when I’m nearby.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location during the night shift. I waited 40 minutes for my order and had to ask four times if it was ready. Each time, I was simply told to wait a bit longer. The staff member serving me made no visible effort to check on the order or resolve the issue. When I finally spoke to the night shift manager, I was told, “nobody shouted for it,” which is an unacceptable response and shows a complete lack of accountability and leadership. Frankly, the manager seemed just as unhelpful and uninterested as the staff member who served me most of the night. I sincerely hope both the night shift manager and the staff member involved are held accountable. The level of service and disregard for customers I witnessed is not what I expect from McDonald’s and should not be acceptable at any location. Please take appropriate action to ensure this kind of service doesn't continue.

Waited an extraordinary amount of time for a pretty simple order, looked like Just eat was prioritising everything.

I'm not the biggest fan of McDonald's but this one seemed particularly bad - dirty floors, toilets in an absolute state, yes it was busy but that's no excuse for cleanliness... The food was as expected, if that's your thing then go ahead!

I useal give this place abt a 3 or 4 star but that dubble chease burger tasted funny when took back she said cause I've took more 1 bite she wouldn't refund it, chips stone cold jue to we lassy mixing orders up n the cherry lemonade why is it so sour? 1st time trying that shame I useal get good meals

The staff in this branch really need to get their act together as EVERY time I place a just eat order it is always wrong. How hard is it to get a simple order for 1 person right ? It's ridiculous always items missing wrong drink sent etc and never any sauces in the bag which come as standard with the nuggets etc. Recent order no sauces for my 2 items I ordered them for. A milkshake sent when I ordered a frozen drink. But its every single time you use them no joke. Can't get anything right. Get your act together it's not rocket science

The food in here is extremely overpriced for what it actually is. It's not bad in terms of actual taste but it's a complete dice roll on whether it's going to take 30 mins to get made or whether it's going to be accurate (several times have paid to add things and then opened to find they're not there, forgotten sauce etc). Multiple chances but given up now.

Shocking customer service. 3 hours 40 minutes for a delivery due to road closures that the restaurant were well aware was happening. Didn't turn off just eat they just continued to take orders knowing they couldn't fulfill the delivery. Called them up and they were extremely rude, blaming just eat for not collecting it even though they knew just eat couldn't collect it. Went through just eat to say the order hadn't arrived and requested a refund which the restaurant said I'd get immediately. The restaurant then decided it was acceptable to attempt delivery 3 hours 40 minutes later when no one was in. So as it stands they get my money because they delivered it when it was supposed to be cancelled. Someone WILL be refunding my £30. Will never step foot back in this disgusting place. Profit over customer service clearly.

Ordered Soup & a New Yorker sandwich on Monday while working in Hamilton. It has to be one of the best sandwiches I've tasted. Great service and very well presented, love the way its wrapped and tied with string. Needless to say, I've been back for the remainder of week for my lunch.

Can't beat the Masterpiece! Amazing deli with friendly staff, highly recommended. And the coffee is also excellent.

Order from here weekly and only ever get the Large Masterpiece and the slow cooked brisket sandwich, absolutely banging munch. Bit more pricey than most places, but definitely worth it for food quality. Absolutely nowhere locally can top this wee gem.

Thought I’d get a coffee while waiting at a car garage nearby for my car. Given the great reviews - I was excited to try the coffee. I was standing outside the hatch and one of the very rude staff didn’t even acknowledge as it looked she was busy packing a takeaway order. I stood patiently, still zero acknowledgment, I wasn’t even sure if they were open. I then asked “hi is someone going to serve?” She abruptly replied “someone will be with you in a minute!!!” Her response was as if I was asking for a favor. Eventually I did get served. Awful coffee, absolutely rude and terrible staff!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Used to be one of our top choices for lunch. Unfortunately it appears to be going downhill recently, regarding the quality and freshness of the food. On one visit, a couple of weeks ago, my husband chose the scone + sandwich + hot drink deal. In his estimation, the scone was a day old offering. It was slightly hard and brittle, so that his attempt to slice it resulted in it shattering into many pieces. He just had to dip the bits in the jam and cream rather than spread them. The cheese sandwiches had roughly two centimetres of cheese on each one. All in all, very poor. I chose a pink iced cupcake, that looked promising from the top view, but upon removing the paper case it too fell to bits on the plate, leaving me holding the circle of hard icing with merely crumbs of cake attached. Never before have I had such an insubstantial, bland, and difficult to eat confection. I had no choice but to carefully pick up a couple of larger bits and leave the rest. Had I sneezed I am certain that the entire, crumbled to tiny fragments, contents of the cake paper would have been blown across the table. Then on our most recent visit (we're very forgiving people!) we stopped in for lunch. We both chose a meal we have really enjoyed a few times before - the fish and chips. Overcooked fish, a noticeably smaller portion of (cold, this time) chips, and a small dish of cold peas. Oh dear. Service was a bit quicker than usual, but the food was so disappointing that we were tempted to ask for them to keep it a bit longer and perhaps return with something more enjoyable. In reality what we did was eat it quickly and leave, muttering disappointments and huffy sounding declarations of never darkening their door again. Will we return? Perhaps, some day, ever hopeful that things will have returned to their previously good standard. Although another issue is their policy of "free" meals for kids. We all know these meals are not "free" and that everyone of adult age is subsidising this food with the prices we have to pay. Quite frankly we could not care less about your children eating for free in a restaurant and resent the fact that restaurants recoup the cost of these "free" meals by raising the price of food for everyone else.

Ordered small breakfast , waited ages on it an when it eventually came it was cold ! Don't even give you a tattoe scone with it but instead a stupid hash brown , tattie scone you have to add on as extra , overall very disappointed .

Over 50 mins waiting for food (a breakfast and a kids meal). Hardly any staff on, no cups for tea or cutlery. No paper in till for receipts. Place is a tip, tables a mess, floors a mess. Shameful

Having been a regular cafe customer twice a week for several years and buying fish and chips I can honestly say the standard of cooking has taken a nose dive. The fish is invariably overcooked with too much dark batter having been in the fryer too long and as a result the chips can be covered in black bits from the batter. Completely unacceptable to the point we have ceased to eat there....not fit for consumption or the price paid. Times gone by they added a slice of lemon but thats gone. Now I see they are doing an ££8.99 deal to attract customers, no doubt due to falling sales. I once ordered a baked potato and cheese which was cold whilst waiting on them to provide a fork. I won't be back, like many others I suspect until they have proper cooks and acceptable standards.

Bought 2 all day breakfasts in Morrisons Hamilton. Absolutely horrible. Square sausages and blackpudding were undercooked to the point of being raw, poached egg was overcooked and resembled the inside of a hard boiled egg. Definitely won't use again. Have used the Morrisons cafe in other towns and have been lovely.

Kids meal £1.00 per item ...1 slice of toast a £1 1 sausage £1. £2.79 if you take 3 items but everything is £1.00 otherwise . Member of staff commendably did her best to see if it was the actual true price for a kid but can't change the prices. A total bargain. Will be bringing the kid and all nieces and nephews . And an overdraft. Tables dirty Cutlery dirty I'm all for paying for a meal and expect to pay more for eating doing so but a quid a slice of bread is ripping the hole clean out of it when an entire loaf in store will be less than a pound and for a kid in today's finacial climate .

This McDonald's has a soulless atmosphere and you can't see the kitchen, which is concerning for a fast food place. Staff presence is minimal, only appearing when orders are ready. The self service machines regularly don't have receipt rolls installed so you fail to get a receipt with your order. The food is typical McDonald's quality, often cold with soggy fries. The only positive is the separate area for delivery drivers. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Nugs are not up to par chips have not one grain of salt and diet coke is average at best i haven't even looked at my big mac and i know ot will be just as bad (follow looked at the big mac too cheesy which is what my ex wife said) #bringsbackbadmemories

horrible. Lots of new young staff who are very rude such as a girl by the name of Jennifer by the bin who stares at you whilst eating your food. And the slow service took 20 minutes for a burger and drink. Unhappy is an understatement.

In as much as I don't like putting up negative reviews, this time I am deeply pained. I ordered for my little daughter, but the order came freezing cold and ketchup dip missing and no straw to take her vanilla cream shake, this isn't the first time this is happening. I am so disappointed 😞 with your services. Absolutely no value for my money. Wee soul couldn't eat her 🍟 because they were freezing 🥶 and was crying 😭, had to make home made fries and tomato sauce at this time of the night. Please avoid!

In this morning and got a breakfast roll , tea etc just to be handed it on a very shiny greasy tray. Getting worse in here. It reminded me why I dont actually come here anymore and this is one of my local McDonald's. Cmon something has to give to make this place better or better yet knock it down!!

Tried a hack of a kids size vanilla milkshake topped up with a double espresso! A newly renovated little branch, the drive thru was very busy so I went inside and ate in which it was smaller inside than expected but ok at the time of day I was in.

Hate to say it but won’t be back. This has been my regular chip shop for 8 years. The chippy is busy which is great for the owners but the service has just not been the same the last few times & after tonight we definitely won’t return. Standard practice in a chip ship is order your food & then when it’s packaged your asked for salt vinegar etc, always been this way in Alfie’s too. The place is too busy so the staff are asking when you order if you want salt & vinegar then you stand waiting. It’s then handed to you in a bag. Everyone has different tastes or maybe requires extra salt/vinegar you don’t get a chance to see your food as it’s packed it’s just thrown together however & handed to you. I actually fancied sauce whilst I was waiting & again it’s handed in a bag wrapped you don’t get the chance to even ask to add a pickle. It should be packaged in front of you so you have the chance to ask for condiments to your preference so you can add accordingly. People will say this is a ridiculous comment the owners won’t care as the shop is busy but it’s the difference in enjoying your meal or not enjoying it. Half the chips & the fish I ordered were tasteless it was hardly salted & hardly any vinegar. You should be asked as it’s being wrapped. Just trying to save time when you order & rush customers out the door. Paying full price for a backwards service. I’ve just moved back to Hamilton & even travelled from Motherwell for the last 4 years to use Alfie’s but won’t be back.

Always very friendly service. Chips are tasty, not too greasy and fish is also excellent. Love their halal fish suppers and love that they offer these. Highly recommended.

The fish and chips are amazing the service is really good and it’s only £23.90 for 1 single fish and chips and 1 double fish and chips with 3 curry sauces.

Went in for a sausage supper. Sausage was nice enough but the chips were very poor. Threw out over half of them. Either they had been sitting for an extended period of time, which would be strange at 5pm, or they have been well overdone in the fryer. Staff weren’t the friendliest either, felt there was a poor atmosphere in the place.

Very disappointed tonight, ordered fish supper, was good, but also ordered white pudding supper, opened packaging it was a BLACK pudding, not the first time this has happened, the white pudding was for my husband, he ate a little bit of the black pudding only. Sorry don't think I will be back in a hurry.

Great chunky chips. Lovely fish and top notch pizza. Also very competent service Definitely recommend. It can get busy though, would be wise to ring ahead for large orders. I can't speak for the kebab but it's likely to be as good as that rest, you must go here!

Ordered salt and chilli chicken and chips with curry sauce was lovely curry sauce was a bit spicy but other than that lovely!

Wouldn't think it to look at it, but best chinkey in Hamilton, can't see through the back but im guessing they have chinese warlocks prepping the food based on quality. Most chinese places use the bog standard wholesale curry sauce, the green stuff, I prefer the curry from here, stronger, better flavour and the rest from there is just quality to tbh, can't go wrong, been going there for years, it's a treat to get dinner from there.

Ordered at take away and had a missing item, ordered shredded chilli chicken with curry sauce, as well as other items and not sauce. Disappointed and not eaten the dish. Also waited over an 1 hour and 15 minutes for it to be delivered, that's not acceptable. Might rethink reordering for here, even though what I ate was good

Been going here for food my whole life and anyone knows how much I love this place but it's went proper down hill. I've never not finished a meal but the beef curry I got tonight when right into the bin. So disappointing can't believe how rotten its gotten

My old man brought me here when I was at primary school. I still remember the big picture on the wall and the wee gas fire that made you sweat enough you needed a dinner to put the weight back on haha. I'm now 35 and still order from here and my own kids really enjoy the food as well. For a takeaway to last so long in a community these days is rare and it speaks volumes about the place. Food is always fresh and roasting hot when it gets delivered. If you want a delivery on a Friday or Saturday night then be prepared for a wait cause this place is super busy but its worth the wait and again the food always comes piping hot and fresh. If you haven't tried it then give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

Been going here for 20 odd years and will never be back chicken curry happy meal appeared to have been cooked days ago and chips where re- heats from god knows when so disappointed, the food that got delivered was one of the worse takeaways we have EVER had .chow main is like mush. The food was that bad the bin turned its nose up at it.

Wee chose House of Shah in Hamilton for our buffet for my daughter engagement party, The food was absolutely amazing , it all looked so fresh and tasted amazing !!! All our guests actually spoke of how wonderful the food tasted would deffo recommend and would definitely use again. The owner also was so nice and helpful and couldn’t do enough when we were trying to figure out how much to order etc and the communication leading up to the party !! 5 stars all the way

Great tasty food. Karahi curry was salty sweet great body to the sauce. Nan sizes that would rival those in Bradford. Varied menu. Would recommend. Everything from curry dishes. Kebabs and pizzas!

Great place. We came over from other side of Glasgow to try your food as we had seen Great reviews online. It was our first meal from you and it won't be the last. Food was so fresh and great portion sizes. Staff very friendly I was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. We will be back, excellent food and excellent service. As soon as i placed the order online i was called just to check if we had any allergies, again before i was handed the food the guys double chrcked we had no allergies. Just great service 👌

Was really hungry ordering first time , check that people like to eat there and very good food but seriously after today I will avoid this resteraurant with raw dough not cooked properly that I eat first slice of calzone and make me sick and pizza is smelly any sticky that mean there are using not clean enough plates for pizza. Paid 33£ for both really really bad and don’t accept my ask for refund

Fast food? I don't think so, pretty much the same as every other in the chain now. Far too busy looking after uber and just eat than to actually prioritise the people who actually took the time to call. To make matters worse my food was cold as it always seems to be now. Totally done with McDonald's now I'd rather have a pot noodle at least it would be hot

I watched the girls struggling emptying the bins picking stuff off the floor and then asking the manager to help her went back behind the counter serving food putting stuff in the bag didn’t wash your hands could tell she was in a bad mood. Absolutely disgusting. Had to leave my food on the counter vile health and safety.

Fast and efficient service. Ideal breakfast to start the day. The only negative is the now seemingly acceptable practice of vans taking up 4 spaces, which means finding a parking space can take longer than getting served.

We stopped off here on the way home from Center Parcs and had the best McDonald's meal in a long time. The fries were filling the cartons, they were nice, hot and crispy, the big macs were also well filled and hot.

This McDonalds is a perfect rest stop. It had plenty of green space for the dog, clean bathrooms, and great french fries 🍟. The service was great and it shares the lot with a gas station and a hotel, so it really is for travellers.

Didn’t mind the wait (because sometimes it’s not the drivers fault) even though it was a small order, but some of the food was cold, some of it wasn’t. I’m only 5 mins away so I don’t know how long the food was in the car. Gave him a good tip as well. Genuinely the worst ‘salt and chilli’ chips i’ve ever had. Attached a pic below. It was more of a peri peri seasoning. Some chips were rock solid. Rated 3 because the chicken balls and chow mein were fine (what I had last time and made me want to order from here again.) Won’t recommend unfortunately

Always huge portions of very tasty food. The quality rarely varies. The prices are very reasonable too. This combination probably explains why it sometimes takes a while to get through to place an order on the phone. I usually go along and place my order in person and no matter how busy the shop is or how big your order is it is normally ready in 15-20;minutes. Get along to the Fairhill. You will not regret it.

My husband and I have not had Chinese takeaway from Fairhill Chinese for few years. Someone on fb posted their dinner and we decided to try this takeaway again. All we can say is Food was fabulous, chicken really moist, fried rice beautiful and cips were amazing. Well done Fairhill Chinese, we will definitely be back

Went in for takeaway and as well as that being done to expectations, my son was sick. The staff were busy but not too busy to help me out. Always good food, always on time or early and always friendly and approachable.

Without a doubt the nicest Chinese takeaway in Hamilton. I swear to god, if you get the chicken noodle soup from here, you'll never like it anywhere else. Plus, the staff are bang on, always chatty. Which is nice.
