Ramen restaurant
Izakaya restaurant
Ramen Gaijin in Sebastopol offers a relaxed dining experience with a variety of authentic Japanese ramen dishes and small plates. Chefs Matthew Williams and Moishe Hahn-Schuman bring together traditional Japanese ramen recipes with locally sourced produce, creating a unique Sonoma County izakaya experience. The restaurant's trendy decor features vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and bursts of Japanese pop culture.
Wonderful 🍜 Ramen! I had the Spicy Tantamen, and its got wonderful flavor and just enough heat to tingle your tastebuds. Paired with a light crisp Asahi. The grilled cabbage was a very nice touch! And added a light smokey flavor.
Dalton S — Google review
I’ve never been disappointed by a meal from this restaurant. They truly have the best vegetarian ramen I’ve ever tasted. Although I adore their cocktails I opted for a Golden State Cider which complimented my meal nicely. The ramen is packed with so much flavor and delicious goodies- I especially love the crispy tofu wedges. The ambience is chill with moderate noise. Service was adequate. I love the murals on display.

My husband and I recently spent a long weekend in town and decided to try this place based on our hotel’s recommendation. The atmosphere was fantastic—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a nice meal. The service, too, was spot-on; our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Spicy TanTanmen, and while it had great potential, I found it a bit on the salty side. The broth wasn’t to my taste. On the flip side, the margarita was delicious and definitely a highlight of our visit. One thing that caught us off guard was the additional “health surcharge” on our bill. Has anyone else noticed this? It’s a bit unusual, and it left us feeling perplexed. Overall, while there were some hits and misses, I’d say the vibe and service made it worth checking out. Just keep an eye on the salt levels and those unexpected charges!

Not my first time at Ramen Gaijin and definitely not my last! I keep coming back because it’s such an amazing spot with consistently delicious food and fantastic cocktails. Always a great experience❤️🤩🥰🍸🍹🍲🥗

The ramen was good and we were served promptly. The staff is friendly and makes sure you have what you need. I look forward to trying their poke bowl next time!
Angel C — Google review
As a 20 year resident of Tokyo with 2,000 bowls of ramen slurped, I have to say I was not expecting a whole lot but I was pleased to find this to be a more than passable ramen. I ordered the Shoyu ramen with scallion topping and Sapporo noodles. (Rye noodles were the default but let’s be real that just makes it a soba. I found it ridiculous that I had to pay to switch the noodles) Soup: seafood and animal stock, probably chicken and pork. Good dashi and tare combination, making this a rich but not overwhelming soup that was very repeatable. 8/10 Noodle: the Sapporo noodle was fine. I would have preferred chijire style noodles with slightly higher water content but it had a decent chew and most importantly they didn’t overcook the noodles. 6/10 Toppings: the pork belly was the best part. Well cooked, tender, and it was a generous portion. Well done! I’d go easier on the soy and add a touch more sugar and mirin to give it a better salt to sweet ratio but it was fantastic. The egg was executed well, but nothing mind blowing. The kikurage mushrooms, while not traditional, worked. Leek could be slightly thicker cut as it lacked the presence to stand up to the chashu. Can’t believe they charge two dollars for a tablespoon of scallion. It was needed to add more punch to the anemic leek topping, but come one guys, two bucks for this is ridiculous - just throw it in the noodles and stop nickel and diming. Chashu:9/10 Rest of the toppings: 4/10 Service: nonexistent. Waited five minutes just to find a waiter so that I can pay. Do they actually expect a tip? I received my noodles over the counter from the friendly kitchen staff. I left a small tip but this further deteriorated the value factor. While there was certainly room for improvement, this was good ramen for the US and probably the best I’ve had so far. 30 dollars for a bowl of noodles plus a tip is crazy though. For 20 I’d come on the regular but the value is sadly not there to warrant more than a couple of visits a year. Thanks for the delicious bowl and hope you guys take this constructively. How about lunch specials, guys? That’d go a long way toward making a regular customer out of me. Some cold noodles (hiyashi tantanmen, anyone?) would be awesome in the warm months too.
Nick S — Google review
We wandered in just ahead of the dinner rush and luckily snagged 2 seats at the chefs counter which was quite fun to watch the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. They have pork in a majority of their dishes but the ones without were exceptional. Add a fried chicken thigh to the ramen bowls you won't regret it!
Natalie F — Google review
We ate here for lunch on a Thursday. Service is very good. It took a little longer than we expected to get our food but the server was very nice and did a good job checking on us and making recommendations. Our group was in the mood for ramen. We enjoyed the spicy ramen, the vegetarian ramen, and the regular ramen...all were very tasty and filling. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch on a cool, autumn day.

Hamburger restaurant
Handline in Sebastopol offers a delightful dining experience with its sustainable seafood, tacos, burgers, and other coastal Californian dishes. The restaurant is known for its delicious fish tacos made with locally sourced rockfish, light beer battering, crispy shaved cabbage, chipotle aioli, lime, and avocado. Customers can expect quick service and a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options.
Delicious, fresh and local. Great service which is extra nice considering it's counter ordering. Patio fully dry when it's raining. Easy parking too. The dishes are so well done it's like being at California fine dining, but with a friendly neighborhood vibe. Love this place.

Handline in Sebastopol offers a fantastic vibe with its thoughtful indoor and outdoor design, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. It's a welcoming environment, perfect for a casual bite or gathering with friends. You'll appreciate the airy and comfortable setting. Free sparkling water and outdoor dining space are a plus!
W. L — Google review
One of my favorite places to eat. A well rounded casual eating spot. Great oysters, crunchy fries, cold beer and creative food. They offer water and sparkling water for free which is a real treat.
Daisy S — Google review
Had an excellent lunch here. Loved the atmosphere on the patio area. All staff were friendly. Excellent fried fish tacos. The affogato (soft serve + cold brew) was especially refreshing.
Jackson B — Google review
What I really enjoy about this place is the flexibility of their dining – you get to select your own seat, whether you prefer indoors or out. Their commitment to seasonal ingredients means the menu is always fresh and interesting, and I can personally vouch for the Los Cabos and the Mendo; they truly satisfy.
Jessie L — Google review
Started off with fresh oysters, sampling all three: Totten (Totten Inlet, WA), Highwater (Homboldt Bay, CA), and Sweetwater (Tomales Bay, CA). Hands down the Sweetwater oysters were my favorite with Totten as the runner up. Next I had the El Coronado Tacos that consisted of beer battered fried rockfish, shaved cabbage, Chipotle aioli, avocado and lime. In my opinion, I feel that there was too much shredded cabbage, which took away from the flavor of the tacos, but they were still pretty tasty. My husband had the Inglewood Burger consisting of 1/3 organic beef, hwy 1 Honduras, lettuce, spicy pickle relish on a toasted bun, minus the thousand island dressing, and there was no complaint. Parking was a little challenging but they had several seating areas.
Kristie S — Google review
I have been going to Handline off and on for years but the last two times have been seriously disappointing, Today we ordered and waited over 20 mins before asking about our order. Their response was it was coming momentarily.. after another 10 mins. I asked again and the person checked and said it would be another 10 or so minutes, “that orders were taking over 30 mins to fill”. We waited OVer (40) minutes ! For me seating on a hardwood bench over 20 mins starts getting uncomfortable, my lower back hurts. Also we gave a 20% when we ordered. No one mentioned they at a 40 mins. When we ordered. It was a sunny busy day, but it wasn’t full. My Previous visit my tortillas were cold and like cardboard, not good, since the fresh tortilla's are a big part or the toco.. honestly I am done coming to this place… something has shifted.
Rich W — Google review
The Pier 45 soup with corn tortillas was delicious and the oysters were amazingly fresh! We enjoyed this place very much. The service was also great. A big variety of food, interesting interior like an old storage, with wooden benches and tables and enamelware. Highly recommend it is a great place worth visiting!

Fern Bar is a lively and green-filled restaurant that specializes in bar-centric delights. Their small yet delightful menu features hand-pulled noodles and trout dishes, showcasing the chef's culinary skills. The hand-pulled noodles are praised for their perfect blend of chewiness and flavor, complemented by savory sauces and aromatic spices. One of their must-try dishes is the umami bomb, an indulgent entree featuring mushrooms and shiitake cream over crispy broccoli and rice.
We booked ahead for brunch at Fern Bar in Sebastopol and had a fantastic experience. Interior was amazing decor. Ambiance was fantastic. The cocktail menu featured many of my favorites, and I couldn’t resist trying the Pisco Sour, which was absolutely amazing—perfectly balanced with a smooth, frothy texture. For brunch, we ordered the New Mexican Breakfast, which turned out to be my favorite dish. It had bold flavors and a comforting, hearty feel. We also tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which had a crispy, tender chicken fillet paired with spicy cheese, adding just the right amount of heat. Overall, the food, drinks, and ambiance made for a great brunch outing. I’d definitely come again!
Prasanna S — Google review
Beautiful place! We were so excited to try the Fern bar. The food was excellent. We were disappointed in the service. Our server was very short with us. No personal touch at all. Also we were not familiar with how different the cocktails are. For first-timers, it would be helpful if they were explained a bit. We love the atmosphere and it's a great place to go for happy hour! Hopefully he was just having an off day
Robin D — Google review
We stopped in just for drinks after hearing great things about the cocktails here and they totally delivered. The drink list is super creative and they even had slushies (I’m a total sucker for a frozen cocktail). It was delicious 😋 Service was spot-on, and I absolutely loved the retro 70s fern-bar vibes inside—lush plants, warm lighting, and a fun throwback charm. Looking forward to coming back next time we’re in the area.
Maria B — Google review
Lovely vintage restaurant but unfortunately the food was not that great. One dish we ordered came with dosa, but they served it as burnt crispbread (?) The fried chicken was floury with no flavor and the mushi-pan chocolate cake was like tasteless cookie dough. Cocktails were nice and the burger was decent. The side salad and fries were the best overall.
Michelle V — Google review
Food was very good. Soul was a great server and had some perfect suggestions. The num nums with szechuan pepper is really interesting. The pepper is not hot but numbing. Give it a try!
Tj G — Google review
A good restaurant to visit if you are in this area. The food tastes good, service is relatively fast given the place was packed. The place is a bit congested and it is full of indoor plants.
Sankha H — Google review
Lovely atmosphere with loads of lush plants everywhere. We were sat in a very relaxing lounge area on a couch where we could really relax and enjoy our amazing cocktails. I highly recommend the Sazerac and Negroni. The price is high but so is the quality. Too expensive for regular visits but perfect for the special occasion!

Nestled in the vibrant Barlow Market District of Sebastopol, The Farmer's Wife is a delightful sandwich shop that captures the essence of farm-to-table dining. Owned by Kendra Kolling, who embodies her role as a farmer's wife, this charming eatery prides itself on sourcing fresh produce from local organic farmers in Sonoma County. The menu features an array of seasonal delights, including their renowned grilled cheese and the mouthwatering bacon avocado club sandwich.
How much love can you squeeze into a sandwich and killer sides? I have been to The Farmer’s Wife in Sebastopol and Point Reyes and have never been disappointed. The BLT with Heirloom Tomato is off the charts, and I waffle between truffle fries or the most incredible/beautiful/flavorful side salads you will find. Kendra and the team do a phenomenal job sourcing from local purveyors and producing highly craveable food. Almost too good to share, but the portions are always good enough for two meals.

TFW is one of my all-time favorite spots. It’s $$ but well worth it bc it’s a small price to pay for a slice of HEAVEN & leaves you with an indelible, unctuous, memorable experience. I ALWAYS have the Chicken Special. Side salad is a work of ART & Truffle Fries are subtly fragrant. Don’t miss out! IYKYK

Came in early spring, in a fun courtyard with other vendors and outdoor seating. Tried the tuna melt and, according to my companion, it was the best he ever had. Large portions and bit pricier. But if you want sustainable and fresh twist on food the cost is worth it. You will leave satiated.
Vanesa K — Google review
Was pretty thrown by the $25+ salad prices but after going for it, I'll happily say that the value was actually pretty good. Two people struggled to finish it and there was no holding back on ingredients. Better than expected, and sandwiches have been good in the past too. One of the more consistent options in the Barlow.
Max S — Google review
I had an amazing experience dining here! The food was outstanding, the service was flawless, and Karen and Victor went above and beyond to make everything perfect. I highly recommend this place 100%!
Renata D — Google review
Some of the tastiest sandwiches & salads around. I love the chicken breast sammie with a side salad. Sweet, savory, acidic & bursting with flavor. Kendra knows what’s up! Whenever I’m up this way I always try to pay this local spot a visit. Worth every penny.
Ellen P — Google review
You get what you pay for, folks. You want quality, craftsmanship, local ingredients, well-balanced flavors? You’re going to have to spend some $$$. The chicken special was delicious. The side salad was a melange of fresh mixed greens and beautiful seasonal fruit and veggies, perfectly dressed. I’m in the industry and nothing annoys me more than a soggy over-dressed salad. So, when I find a place that respects its ingredients, it truly warms my soul. Will return!

Great sandwich and salad place! Got the tuna melt with fries and the Chicken, avocado with side salad. Big hearty portions and an incredible salad! They have great vegetarian salads and sandwiches too. Nice patio seating, and water is provided with lemon and mint - a nice touch.

Their menu features an impressive selection of non-GMO and organic treats, including rich chocolate cupcakes filled with raspberry jam and topped with velvety buttercream frosting.
Oh, so lovely. An authentic European bakery with delightful offerings. The little cakes are fantastic. Definitely worth a stop for a little snack or to pick up dessert.

Courteous but not as friendly as other places, but it was slammed at lunch time. Their food is wonderful. Expensive, but you get what you pay for here. We (2) had breakfast for around $50. Two quiches, two scones, two coffees. But their best of show, gold medal winning cake was heaven on a fork. Amazing. I bought two as gifts.
Mary C — Google review
Utilized Angelica’s services for our wedding cake. Came out fantastic, so many compliments were received for having delicious and out of the box flavored cake. We opted for Angelica’s favorite (which she mentioned isn’t often chosen due to its complex flavor profile) and so happy we did. Highly recommend the almond based cake with brandied apricots as well as the chocolate chiffon. She was super accommodating and encouraging of making use of our family's farm fruit for some of the ingredients to have a sentimental touch. Will be making use of her bakery for all special occasion desserts in the future.
Jacqueline R — Google review
TLDR; Great selection of pastries. Skip the coffee and get the tea instead. We came in first thing in the morning and there was already a line, which moves quite slowly- so if you’re not big on waiting, get here sharp at opening time. Food: we ordered the almond peach tart, almond chocolate croissants and a blueberry scone - everything was so incredibly good. The croissants are so flaky, and probably the best I’ve ever had. We also got the opera cakes to go, but I wasn’t too impressed with those. Drinks: the coffee is quite mediocre but the tea selection is absolutely fantastic.
Pooja C — Google review
Best almond croissant I've ever had in my life. My dad is from Europe and has been to Paris several times and also agrees with this statement. I also love the daily quiche with salad- the dressing is so delicate. Never had a bad meal or pastry here!! FYI the majority of seating is outside, so you will feel hot on a hot day. They also sell out of the good stuff kinda early, so I recommend coming in before noon. Bon appetit!
Molly S — Google review
Visit Patisserie Angelica, everything is delicious! My personal favorite is Gateau Parisian, which I haven't found at any other patisserie around Bay Area and surrounding areas. It's light, unique, delicious, and leaves you wanting to have another one. Very European, which is an uncommon treat for the area.  But  everything else is a must try as well. Recently had the pleasure of having owner, Gergana, create a custom cake for my grandma's 100th Birthday celebration. Two layers, one was Almond Apricot Cake  (also unique and quite delicious cake you can't find anywhere else in the nearby 100+ radius area) and the other Tahitian Vanilla Bean Cake (delicate, light and to fit most taste-buds) were gone in matter of minutes. Design paid tribute to my grandma's interests (love for lilacs and cross-stitching) and Gergana captured conceptual design and doodle mockups in such a beautiful and neat detail that I, Grandma, and everyone was marveling at it every chance we got. We didn't want to cut into the cakes to ruin the creation, but glad we did because the cakes were incredibly tasty.  Grateful to Gergana for her care, attention to detail, patience working with me and my requests. Her customer care and patisserie skills capture you (well they captured me) and you're happy to be coming back for more, even when you have to commute to them hour-and-a-half + (without traffic, one way). My family and I are amazed at your skills and appreciate you taking such artistic and baking expertise and care into making this cake.  This cake creation was memorable, unique, and scrumptious, and left a very personal and touching imprint on my Grandma's special day and for all of us celebrating. Thank you!

Sushi restaurant
Sushi Kosho is a modern Japanese restaurant located in Sebastopol, known for its industrial-cool ambiance and focus on local ingredients. Chef Jake Rand, who has studied authentic Japanese cuisine for years, takes pride in the high quality and sustainability of the restaurant's offerings. The menu features a variety of sushi, donburi rice bowls, and modern Japanese dishes that go beyond traditional options.
The food was all delicious, made fresh and came out fast. There were a few new spins on a classic item, such as the crab wontons (Rangoon's) drenched in a sweet chilli sauce & covered with a delicious veggie slaw or the blackened edamame dusted with a Japanese seven spice and drizzled with fresh grilled lime juice. We also tried the salmon citrus roll, the thinly sliced like pieces really kicked up the flavor combo. We finished it off with an order of toro - which was fresh and buttery melt in your mouth fatty tuna.

Sushi was excellent! Would recommend the wild mushroom salad. Sushi was served at room temperature. Service was excellent!

Wonderful sushi and sake, exemplary service. Had a great time enjoying my drink at the bar table.

Having lived in Japan for 6 years, and being married to a Japanese person, I feel well qualified to rate this restaurant. I have been there between sever or eight times. I’ve eaten there for lunch. I’ve eaten there for dinner. Each time I go I really want to like the food. I hope that it will improve, but the truth is the food is not good and it hasn’t improved. But more over, you can feel the bad energy in the wait person staff, there’s a vibe that feels as though they undervalued and are working under a very critical unsupportive eye… every once in a while one of their specialty rolls tastes OK.and the eggplant was not bad…I just wish they were better.
Cheryl C — Google review
Unfortunately, the nigiri was lackluster which was so disappointing. Spicy tuna hand roll was very good, the best item I ordered. Very spicy!! Service was excellent!! Try the black sesame ice cream.
Rachel E — Google review
A friend recommended Kosho and I am disappointed. I always order chirashi from Japanese restaurants and this chirashi felt like a $40 bowl of fish scraps. Except for the salmon roe. The rice was not sushi rice, or if it was it must have been very lightly seasoned. In the attached pictures you can see how the fish cuts are falling apart, small and uneven. So much tuna and salmon, barely any of any whitefish. I was looking forward to mackerel sashimi as that isn't common in Chirashi, but I couldn't even enjoy it as it was mainly skin with tattered fish on it. Chirashi is a bowl of assorted sashimi, not randomly cut fish. My family got other dishes, the tofu donburi and a roll, both were fine. The cooked vegetables with the tofu mightve been the tastiest. Maybe just stick to nigiri if you want raw fish here. Service was overall good. But so disappointed by the fish when it costs more than other restaurants.

This is some of the best sushi we have had in Northern California. It was very surprising because we did not expect such good sushi to be here in Sevastopol. The location of the restaurant is a little small so we had a little wait but it’s in an awesome outdoor mixed market and shopping area called the Barlow and we easily killed some time walking and sitting by the park next door. Two or three fun looking bars in the vicinity. The food was excellently prepared with high quality ingredients. This is not a $150 omakase type of experience, but for its class of family style accessible Japanese places, the food is more than solid, it’s exquisite and at a reasonable price compared to similar places all throughout the Bay Area. The standout was the 15 spices ribs appetizer. Perfectly prepared, seared outside and tender outside, impressed our international table. The sushi is also made with great fish. This time I didn’t try any special toro but the quality of the fish makes me think there is a secretly overtalented chef in the back taking it one step at a time to deliver what’s needed for a family commumity. This is awesome and not a crazy price at about $40 per person including tip and tax for five people for a fantastic dinner. Easy parking here lots of free parking at the Barlow. Try to make a reservation ahead of time if you can!

Khom Loi is a Thai restaurant in Sebastopol, known for its fusion of authentic Thai cooking with the fresh produce from Sonoma County's small farms. The menu features dishes like Gai Tod, a unique take on fried chicken with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, and Khai Jeow, a spicy omelet topped with trout roe and herb salad.
Progressive Californian Thai food. Fresh, locally sourced, creative, exceptional. Pretty cheap for what it is honestly. It makes no sense. You can get an entree for between 15-25 on average and apps are in the 10-20 range. The portions are generally generous too. Just ask your waiter depending on what you’re getting. I always get the green papaya salad with sticky rice for everyone to share. Pad Thai is always a fav. They’ve got great options for vegetarian/plant based eaters for sure. And an excellent drink list. I’ve been coming here for years and the quality is always on point. It’s usually best to have a reservation. When I came tonight somehow the place was a lot more mellow. Not sure what that was about. Never seen it like that. Definitely check it out!!

We were sat at a very small table, which was very sticky. I asked if we could have a bigger table and we were told no, they were busy tonight. Service was very slow. The two tables on either side of us were served before we were. I had looked at the menu online and it picked out two or three items that I was interested in, but none of them were on the actual menu. They said that the menu is not kept up-to-date online. I expected a Michelin rated restaurant to be much better quality as far as presentation and taste, but it was not! Very disappointed and will not be returning!!! Oh, and a piece of chicken skin was in my food. I asked for no tofu and a little bit more chicken instead. I could hardly even find chicken in the dinner. As I was eating the leftovers later, I tasted a very fishy flavor in the noodles, which is hard to believe since there was only three shrimp on the side.

Khom Loi in Sebastopol is easily the freshest and most authentic Thai food I’ve had in the Bay Area. Every dish was bursting with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The portions were generous, making it a great value, and the service was top notch from start to finish. You can tell the ingredients and preparation are handled with real care. The flavors were out of this world, with the perfect balance of spice, herbs, and texture. I’m so glad I found this place and will definitely be coming back soon. An easy five stars and worth the drive, I’ll definitely be back.

I recently visited Khom Loi, hoping to enjoy some authentic Thai cuisine, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. The owners and staff are not Thai, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it seemed to reflect in the dishes. The flavors lacked the depth and authenticity I was expecting from Thai food. Some dishes were overly salty or over seasoned. For example, the fried chicken (Gai Todd), was salty and over floured which didn’t have the balance I was hoping for. The crispy rice (Nam Kao) was also super salty and lacked the crispiness that is characteristic of the dish - we sent this one back as it was inedible. The papaya salad was perhaps the best dish; however, authentic papaya salad doesn’t have basil in it, which threw the dish off a bit. On a brighter note, the crispy chive dumpling was good, with great texture and two interesting spicy sauces that added a nice kick. On the positive side, the atmosphere was really nice, with a warm and inviting ambiance that made for a pleasant dining experience. The service was also friendly and attentive. However, when it comes to the food, it just didn’t hit the mark. If you’re looking for a true Thai experience, you might want to explore other options. But if you're open to a more Westernized take on Thai food, Khom Loi could still be enjoyable for a casual meal.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Sebastopol. Never disappoints - excellent value, flavor and so fresh. My only wish is that they wouldn’t use those toxic black plastic containers for the curry/soupy dishes - perhaps a cardboard soup cup with a lid could replace those easily. Those have been found to be very toxic - especially when heated and are forever chemicals/landfill items. I hope this reaches the management as I think their food is so delicious.

I met a friend here for dinner and was transported! The atmosphere welcomed us with a magical dining room that was so serene with fountains, high ceilings and lush foliage. The server (Oliver?) and the support staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic. We had a mushroom salad, fried chicken with lettuce cups and lamb. The wine list was diverse, too.

Brought our friend (originally from Bangkok) to Khom Loi. She was blown away by the food, and wanted to meet Chef Luis and praise his fine cookery! She plans to visit every time she's driving up from the East Bay and will be recommending Khom Loi to other friends isiting Sonoma County from all over the globe! The steelhead trout dish was impeccable.

We had an okay experience here. I was expecting a more elevated experience since it is a Michelin rated restaurant. We had a reservation but came early so they sat us in the front, interior area RIGHT NEXT (like 6" away) to the only other occupied table. I felt like I interrupted their vibe. I thought maybe the restaurant has a bunch of reservations but that was not the case. They were actually quite dead for a Friday night since the staff kept talking about that to themselves. We asked to move to another table. I know we were early but if they had mentioned we could have a better table if we waited (On the patio- which is a must if you want a nice experience visually), we could have waited but that wasn't discussed. Then when the waitress brought my wine, the glass was dirty with water spots. This was ironic since a member of their staff was meticulously cleaning the water glasses behind the bar in my line of site. I guess I should have ordered water instead of a $16 glass of Pinot. The food was good though - the best Thai food we've had since moving up here from Oakland. Everyone that worked there looked very young which is totally fine but didn't seem very experienced (except one guy) and I would have appreciated a higher level of service given the Michelin rating. But I guess it's overhyped at this point. I am also crabby about it because my husband and I never go out to nice places much since we have young kids but we had a random 'night off' from being parents. If I went again, I would know what to expect AND also make sure we are seated on the patio. Or just get expensive take-out for a special treat.

Jam’s Joy Bungalow is a popular restaurant located in Sebastopol Square, with an additional location in Cotati. It started as a food truck and now offers a brick-and-mortar dining experience. The menu features a fusion of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, including noodles, banh mi sandwiches, and various bites influenced by French and Vietnamese culinary styles.
Delicious tofu (it's so soft!) that's flavorful without being over marinated. Veggies were pickled and crisp and the satay sauce was light and nutty. Not a long wait time and pricing was reasonable, wish there was some more shading but it's not a big deal it was just a hot day.

Great place for a fresh lunch. Outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather! Banh Mi with meatballs was so so GOOD! Also had a Thai tea, yum! Will definitely be back!

Great food but totally unpredictable if they will be open! Completely inaccurate hours.. been disappointed and frustrated at least a dozen times
Ethan H — Google review
Best food ever! Love Jam’s! My only complaint is that they aren’t open as often as I would like. They have limited hours and I feel like every time I try to go happens to be a day/time they’re closed. But, that makes it that much more special when I finally do get it! And I’m excited to check out the new location as well. If you ever see the truck or either brick and mortar, don’t miss out!

I've eaten here several times and it was good and fresh. Today they tried to charge me more than was listed on the menu. Isn't this illegal? The staff was pretty hostile and 'out of it'. Outdoor seating is dirty and gros.

Tasty, fresh banh mi! Great beverage options too. My friend had the chicken, so I can't comment on how that tasted, but she's a regular and loves the place. It's just a stand to order from, but there is seating in the plaza where it's located. Would totally go back!

Or third Sunday in a row eating here. Love the food, light and tasty. Four stars instead of five, because TODAY the cabbage is too thick. Hoping it’s just an off day for them. Maybe ask them to cut the cabbage thin? Then it’s worth five stars.

Nestled in the heart of Sebastopol's vibrant Barlow market, Blue Ridge Kitchen offers a delightful twist on Southern comfort food that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. This charming eatery serves up an enticing weekend brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a menu that frequently changes to keep things fresh and exciting.
Just absolutely an amazing experience, from the friendly and helpful staff to the great cooks and support personnel making sure that they're amazing dishes are very much so consistent and tasty. We were lucky to come across this place as we were attending a wedding and they had their dinner here, I was expecting some middle of the road bar food at this establishment but I was completely wrong. They are Cajun pasta is truly a can't miss dish. The care and attention that they place with making that dish so delicious in balance in each and every bite is a work of art. Now don't think that this is only a good restaurant it is much more as they have a great bar that comes up with some of the best craft cocktails that you will ever experience. The drinks that we had were amazing and the things that they did with herbal along with different flavors really set things off nicely along with a presentation that is top notch. I wish I can tell you a negative about this restaurant for you to be aware of, but I don't have anything negative to offer so please enjoy this restaurant in all of its food and beverage glory and let me know how was your experience. This is a truly must enjoy restaurant with big portions and fair pricing, something you just don't get a lot of these days.

Disclaimer: review based off delivery order. Everything came hot and the order arrived within 15 minutes of placing order (we live very close). Ordered the smash burger, fried chicken, crispy Brussels sprouts and garlic fries. Fried chicken comes with 3 small pieces which are essentially just crispy breading with very small amount of dry chicken on the bone. Burger was cooked well but toppings were very soggy, nothing special about the flavor. Brussel sprouts are usually our favorite, I liked the way these were cut into small pieces to get a good crisp on them but really disliked the potent citrus flavor. Have not ever had them served like that. Collard greens and potatoes were bland. Can’t go wrong with garlic truffle fries but given the fairly small menu, not sure if they are good enough to warrant trying this place again anytime soon. We gave the service and atmosphere 5 stars based on other reviews. Will update if we ever decide to dine in in the future.

Pleasant brunch location in trendy 'The Barlow' area. Full of light with different seating areas. The smoked bacon Benedict was perfectly cooked on a slice of sourdough and very tasty, if a little under seasoned. The shrimp Louie was a bit disappointing, the fresh salad greens turned out to be sliced iceberg, and the dressing was a little watery, but tasted good enough. Service was pleasant and not rushed. Would go back if in the area

First time dining experience. Thought I’d love it but was disappointed in food taste. Ordered off specials menu. Tried bbq chicken sandwich which came with a macaroni salad and a burger with fries. My chicken had a bit of fat or some slimy parts and hoped it may have been a bit pounded and trimmed to be more even in thickness for ease of eating. Turned into a bit of challenge to eat and messy with ingredients sliding around and out of bun when eating. Bbq sauce wasn’t a great flavor for me. The macaroni salad was really nice looking and had a good flavor but the texture of the pasta was odd. I let other person try it and agreed it was too thick and chewy so I couldn’t eat it. The waitress didn’t even notice. Thankfully there were enough fries with burger and I was able to eat some of those. Buns were more delicate and light, would have enjoyed a bun that held the ingredients together while eating but know each restaurant wants to be unique. Buns were a bit too toasty as you can see from pictures. Heard chef wasn’t there at time of visit.

Finally got to try this place, and my god, it was worth the wait! The outdoor seating is comfortable and spacious. The inside looks to be the same. The mixed drinks are all tasty and extremely well made. The food? The food!!! This is a word that I very rarely use, but the food was truly exquisite. Bursting with layers of sophisticated flavors and textures, everything is brilliantly made and thoughtfully prepared. The sesame chicharrone (sp?) served with the sushi is an inspired touch, and adds SO MUCH to an already fantastic appetizer. Our main courses followed suit, bending our brains to the point of breaking! An overload of savory sensations. Last but definitely not least, I cannot say enough about how incredible Lani was. Attentive, thoughtful, and predicted our needs perfectly. She’s a diamond! Cannot wait to come back for more.

I had an amazing mother's day lunch at this location. The service was splendid. My cocktail, peach fuzz had a perfect aftertaste. The peach burrata was yum. We ordered another plate as it was so fresh and delicious. I had their catch of the day which was a sole fillet. We also had a meat burger and a dragon fruit lemonade which were all delicious. Overall a great day out to have lunch at this beautiful location with yummy food.

Truly elegant & delectable food. Beautiful & Airy Atmosphere. The space is very cool. From the Moroccan reminiscent tiles on the high walls, to the satisfying wooden tables and counters, to the decorative but also functional pots hanging in the kitchen, this place is a breath of fresh air wrapped in a hip vibe. The food is not only beautiful, but sophisticatedly scrumptious. Our very friendly and relatable server, Alex, did us a big favor when he said "Cheat code: the creme brulee is phenomenal." I ordered it, and after the delight of breaking the caramelized cap, and putting the first bite into my mouth, I exclaimed "Good Lord, that's good!" Was it ever! And my pal's Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich was grubbin' as well. I loved the Mushroom Rigatoni I ordered, and thoroughly enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. The pomegranate sauce was a perfect sweet counterbalance to the salt in the dish. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that it is so good, and surrounded by other great venues at the Barlow, that parking is tricky. Still, it's good to have a reward as wonderful as Blue Ridge Kitchen, for overcoming the challenge of parking. Everything was so fresh and fun. This is truly civilized dining at its best!

Acre Pizza is a modern pizzeria in Sonoma County that offers Detroit-style and classic pizzas made with organic California ingredients. The crust of their pizzas is thin, soft, and not chewy, making it a standout feature. The poblano pizza stands out with its unique blend of sweet and spicy flavors, while the meat lovers pizza is loaded with a variety of meats and just the right amount of spice.
Ordered a cheese pizza while hanging out at Crooked Goat brewery (order from the pub, and food Is brought over at no upcharge) chewy flavorful crust made from a well fermented dough, good tomato sauce to cheese ratio topping, nicely browned. You can't hide flaws on a cheese pizza, and they didn't need to hide anything. Great!

If you want delicious pizza, friendly customer service & a chill environment: come here! I was greeted immediately and asked if I had any questions. I ordered what I wanted & said it was my first time and I was given a free huge cookie! It was home made chocolate chip with salt. So, so good. The rice crispy treats are good and if you’re a ranch person, their ranch is the best! I’m normally not a pizza fan but this place had me come back and order more for lunch tomorrow!

Amazing pizza. Cant give 5 stars since they sell animal products but their vegan options are great. Also the price is pretty steep but it's not hard to see why when it tastes so good.

I wanted to love it but was severely disappointed with the taste of the pizza. I'm not sure if there was too much char on the bottom of the crust or something was off about the sauce/cheese ratio, but the taste wasn't great. Having lived in Italy and eaten my share of pizzas around the world I can say this has the promising look and price of a great pizza...but doesn't deliver.

Viva Mēxicana is a vibrant restaurant that has been serving gourmet Oaxacan-style Mexican cuisine since 1986. The cheerful neighborhood spot is adorned with local art and caters to vegans, offering dishes made with GMO-free chips, lard-free beans, and dairy-free horchata.
I really enjoyed this place, which has been in this town since 1986, and it is a great choice for all interested in clean Mexican food. I have had both takeout and delivery (which arrived piping hot). Sima was so nice to meet, thank you. I ordered the gratitude burrito 2 x in a row that was recommended by others on the "happy cow" vegan food reviews. She suggested some other items, including the butternut squash enchiladas, which I can't wait to try next time. It is/was outstanding, with its blend of thoughtful ingredients. This is a worthy vegan menu that is separated from the rest and stands on its own. Excellent sauces and chips and salsa. I didn't have any worry or question about the knowledge of veganism and the desire for clean eating. Sorry, I could not review the meat side, but imagine it's worthwhile as well. Side note... My friend did get a white bean, cheese, and rice burrito, which he thought was amazing as well.

A delightful little Mexican restaurant that offers a vegan menu! I had the butternut squash enchiladas with fresh avocado and spicy chipotle sauce, plus veggie refried beans and Spanish rice. I enjoyed every bite. I also enjoyed a Vegan coconut horchata— this had to be hands down the most delicious and tasty horchata I’ve ever drank!! So good! The staff were very friendly and hospitable. They also offer a couple of vegan desserts. I enjoyed my meal and felt the price point was well worth the price. A healthy meal that felt satisfying and nourishing. A tried and true staple here in Sebastopol. The healthiest and freshest Mexican food around. They use organic ingredients and the flavors are well balanced, without a ton of extra seasoning so you can actually taste the individual ingredients. They use locally caught fish, grass fed beef, and they have a lot of wonderful vegan and vegetarian options as well. I also have to stick to a very special diet due to some health issues and this is one of the only places I can get takeout from because they don't use excessive seasonings. I found a couple dishes that I can eat from time to time and I'm really grateful for that.

We had vegan tamale plate, vegan sopes plate and a vegan elote! All so good! Their watermelon aqua fresca was next level! So fresh and tasty! We used Viva Mexicana catering service in Bodega Bay for six days (lunch and dinner) and everything was excellent. The team was very flexible with dietary restrictions and special requests. I came here with 2 other people and we got to share the pumpkin curry with lentils, garlic naan, aloo naan, mango lassi, chai, pecora chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, and rice. Everything was overall very tasty but very pricey and the portions were small but I do think it is a good restaurant that is worth trying because it was very tasty but just pricey and small portions. I recommend trying this restaurant. They were understaffed and slow, but it was a family owned restaurant so I understand.

Pros: food was absolutely fantastic 😋 the restaurant was very clean and atmosphere was attractive. We sat by the window which gave us a wonderful view of the plants that are outside. Definitely would recommend. Cons: a little bit pricey but worth it. Waited at the door for 10 minutes, another couple pointed out the waiter was on his phone. Then I stood at the cash register for a few minutes waiting in front of him on his phone. I decided to not speak up to see how long it would take. Was pleasant experience other than the wait which to be honest I could have spoke up in the beginning and more than likely gotten seated quickly. Would highly recommend and would go back again. The food was very flavorful and salad was awesome. Great vegan dishes and appetizers.

Delicious food, great service, and again DELICIOUS FOOD. Stopping here is a must if you love authentic nepalese cuisine! 💕 Also I did see some reviews about it being pricey. I totally disagree. You get a lot for what you pay. I selected the Chicken Tiki Masala at I believe around $20 and that came with soup and my choice of brown or white rice. I also ordered a side of naan at maybe $4-$5 and there was more than enough leftover to have for dinner later on. You get more than what you pay for is all I’m saying, given the quality and quantity of food served. All in all it was about $20-$30 per person with a drink.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here recently. The service was excellent, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely superb! It exceeded expectations. I highly recommend giving it a try, as their food is worth every cent you spend. For an appetizer, we started with the orzo mac and cheese. I had the pimento cheeseburger and truffle fries, both of which were some of the best of their types I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The atmosphere on the outside patio felt like a dream, the service, drinks and food were good, however my husband’s steak was on the same plate as the side salad and the salad dressing was mixing into the steak. It was a shame since the steak might have been very good if this didn’t happen.

Gravenstein Grill is always a luxurious treat. My family and I had Easter brunch there and it was great. We sat on the patio, which had a beautiful ambiance with a live guitar player and gorgeous scenery. The food was delicious, though my only complaint would be for their poached eggs. I love runny poached eggs but not everyone does so I might advice to order eggs accordingly for your own taste. But over all, the food and drinks were great. And of course, service was spectacular. Our waiter was very personable and cheerful, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. This was my third time at Gravenstein Grill and I have not been disappointed once.

The falafel here was really good. They use fresh ingredients for their sandwiches! The deluxe falafel is where it’s at! The tabouli was terrible, wouldn’t recommend. The kanafa was also terrible. Wouldn’t recommend, I think they might have even used pancake syrup, which is just there for the taste. The atmosphere was nice, well decorated and accurate! This place may not look as polished as some of the newer restaurants in Sebastopol, but it's got it where it counts. The food here is extraordinary! I will definitely be back! .... Smile, Jasmine!

We live in Georgia but my wife is from here. We visit this spot whenever we're in her old stomping grounds. The food is amazing. Beautiful Mediterranean cuisine. Staff is friendly and polite, food is delicious! I ordered the supreme Gyro plate. It's fire! Their filafel is so flavorful. Drinks are bottled coke products but they also have Turkish coffee which is strong with the cardamom (lots of flavor). If you're unfamiliar with Turkish coffee, expect to drink the finely ground coffee with the bits of cardamom in it. Very fun! Overall, an amazing experience and we'll be back next time we're in town.

I could literally eat the food everyday. I’ve tried lots of Arab food before but this food exceeds all expectations. My favorite is the beef kabob, it’s so juicy and moist. The dolma (grape leaves) and the white yogurt with cucumber is so refreshing as well. All the food is extremely fresh. The service is also amazing and everyone is very kind and sweet especially the amazing female cook! Will definitely be back again and again.

Goldfinch, led by Chef Rodrigo Mendozas, offers a diverse menu featuring Bites, Small Shareable plates and Large Shareable plates. The restaurant boasts a full bar with great cocktails. Diners praise the delicious beet salad, shrimp ceviche with a hint of heat, and the lemon posset with berries for dessert. The interior has been revamped with comfortable banquettes and striking light fixtures.
What a fabulous find, local everything from the food to staff to other diners. Possibly best calamari and ever. Our sever Maggie who is French and is discerning didn’t steer us wrong it is the best calamari ever!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and excellent service. Unfortunately the food lacked flavor and was pretty ordinary. I was looking forward to the pavlova (an Aussie dessert) but it was shockingly hard and stale! It should be light and fluffy meringue, if you know it. Cocktails and fries were very good.
Michelle V — Google review
Great restaurant and selection of dishes. Very well presented. Excellent service. Beetroot salad and crab ravioli were stand out.
Fiona A — Google review
Decided to give Goldfinch a try while visiting the local area. I want to start off by saying our waitress was amazing. She made us a personal list of places to visit in the area. But moving past that, the food wasn’t my favorite. We started off with focaccia bread and the rosemary was overbearing. My favorite dish was the butter poached potatoes. Light but savory. For dinner I got the grilled 10 oz angus hanger steak. It comes with caramelized peppers and potato pave. The steak had a weird taste to it and the peppers covered the dish which ruined it in my opinion. The red wine sauce took away from the cut as well. I didn’t love the dish. When the server assistant came over to ask if I was all set, I said yes, and she insinuated a box and I said “no thank you” .. So she threw my fork onto the plate, rolled her eyes and stormed away. I thought that was a bit rude. For the price-point, and food selection, I wouldn’t come back. For the cocktails and kind waitress, I would visit again!
J.R. B — Google review
Goldfinch boasts stunning presentation, particularly the house-made Dungeness crab raviolo (5 stars visually). However, the flavor of the raviolo didn't impress, lacking distinction, and the slimy, warmish texture wasn't appealing. The grilled zucchini and burrata with sourdough were good, though the zucchini's sourness was unexpected. The fire-roasted beets with yogurt and pistachio were a standout, highly recommended for their delicious flavor combination.
W. L — Google review
Wow!! We found Goldfinch on our way back to the North SF Bay Area, and what an experience!! Atmosphere was beautiful, service was impeccable, and the food was beyond delicious!! We had the swordfish and steak frites and every bite was a delicacy! Highly recommend if you’re in the area or quite worthwhile to make a trip to Sebastopol to dine here!
Esther M — Google review
Goldfinch features beautiful decor and a great ambiance, though it can get a bit noisy. What We Ordered: Fire-Roasted Beets (11/10) – A standout dish! The caramelized yogurt, pistachios, and quick-pickled onions created a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Grilled 10oz Angus Hanger Steak (9.0/10) Well-prepared and shareable. The potato pavé and grilled broccolini complemented the steak beautifully. The gratin was good. Don't burn it too much, ha ha I’d suggest serving the red wine shallot reduction lightly on the plate with extra on the side. Chocolate Cake (9.5/10) – The white chocolate ganache was smooth and indulgent, but the hazelnut crunch was a bit too hard for my taste. Ginger Turmeric Mocktail (9.5/10) A vibrant, flavorful drink. Reducing the amount of ice would allow the bold flavors to shine even more. Goldfinch delivers an elevated dining experience with bold flavors and thoughtful pairings. A few minor tweaks could make it even better, but overall, it's a place worth revisiting!

6 cocktailer foodies tried a new place last night night - Goldfinch. Great cocktails, extensive and creative menu that delivered and attentive service. In fact the menu had so many creative offerings, it was hard to choose. We ended up trying many small plates and splitting one large. There wasn’t a mediocre plate in the bunch! 6 out of 6 said they would come again. Bonus - The Third Pig, a favorite Craft Cocktail hang out is right across the street for a nightcap!

Nepalese restaurant
Kathmandu Cafe & Grill - Taste Of Nepal is a charming restaurant located in a restored railway car at Gravenstein Station, offering an authentic taste of Himalayan cuisine. The menu features a variety of vegan and gluten-free options. Guests have praised the cozy and warm ambiance, friendly service, and delicious food. Dishes like veggie momos, tofu saag curry, and tandoori chicken have been highly recommended.
Smells and tastes from another place. Simply Out of this world. Quite a spectacular place. From another place. Butter chicken. Momo's. Chana saag. Garlic naan. Wow
Rich E — Google review
This is my fourth attempt (2x dining in, 2x carry out) and I am again disappointed in the portion size and lack of flavor, especially given the price. I stopped ordering the naan and rice after my first two attempts (rice was dried out, naan was bland and chewy) and now just make my own at home. Tonight I ordered the lamb tikka w/ medium spice (a favorite dish of mine) which tasted average but was 90% sauce with 6 small, non-tender, pieces of meat. I should’ve learned my lesson as my previous dishes (ordered 3 and 4 out of 5 spice level) have also had minimal spice/flavor. I really wanted to love this place given its prime location and absolutely charming feel. The menu has great variety of traditional options. Their service has always been prompt without issues and everyone I’ve interacted with has been extremely kind. Given the lack of Nepalese restaurants in the area and my love for the cuisine, I may venture a 5th attempt (will order high spice) and update my review when I do.

AMAZING FOOD. We came in around 7pm and were the only people there. I couldn’t believe how empty it was because the food is incredible!! Rich flavors, fresh, and the family running the place is so kind and welcoming. Affordable prices and such a fun experience eating in an old train car. So cute! A must eat when in the area. Highly recommend!

If I could give zero stars, I would—and honestly, even that feels too generous. We waited two hours for our food. Two. Hours. And what makes it worse? A guy ahead of us, also hadn’t received his food. So at least the incompetence was consistent. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored while your stomach eats itself out of boredom.

Delicious food! This was the first time I have been inside this building - in the 40 years I have lived near Sebastopol - and found it fun to eat inside this restaurant as a first. The waiter was super friendly, it was cozy and warm, and the service was great. I got the Veggie dish (pictured) which came with soup. I enjoyed a taste of Nepalese food as it satisfied my one-in-a-blue moon mood for Indian food without all the heavy spices. The veggies were all cooked nicely, and the sauce was very tasty. Loved the mango dressing on the salad. A nice array and flavors and nice atmosphere to match! :)

Such a sweet experience! My son, who had been living in Nepal the last 7 years, loved the food and the staff. We started with some dal/lentil soup and then onto the veggie pakora and some veggie momos! All so good and tasty! My son was transported back to the streets of Kathmandu! We then had the tofu saag curry with rice! So tasty! We didn't have room for dessert, but thought about it... and the restaurant is located inside an old railroad car! Super cool! Catch the train to Kathmandu! 😉

Psychic Pie offers a unique dining experience with its Roman-style slices cut to order and priced by weight. The menu features a variety of sourdough pizzas made with organic wheat and locally sourced seasonal ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Best Pizza. Creative flavors, crust that's crunchy and chewy in the best way. Everyone who works there is amazing and kind, even when busy. Come here, be nice and tip well.
Autumn E — Google review
So so so freaking good. First there’s the awesome sourdough crust — crisp, bubbly, tasty. Then some really interesting toppings like a caesar salad pizza — start with i think red sauce, lemons !, and cheese, bake that, then top with lettuce and dressing !!! Or a straight up pepperoni with the sourdough and red sauce. Or one with no sauce, potato slices, creme fraiche, chives, and drizzled hot oil. Worth a trip! (Be sure and check they are open.)
Bff N — Google review
Best pizza I’ve ever had. The price may not compute until you realize the quality is better than anything else around. Sourdough, most everything sourced hyperlocal from Sonoma county. So fresh, so delicious. Wow. I usually get the mushroom or potato being vegetarian. Pizza is sold “al taglio” or made to order to the cut—you tell them how much you want and they cut it from a premade pie and then cook it on the spot. Lots of great beverages, soft serve, and cookies as well.
Liam N — Google review
Local gem. Great pizza assortment sold by weight and ability to mix & match. Served with cloth napkins and pizza cutting shears to make it super easy. Not a gluten free place, but vegetarian options. Assorted cold beverages (regular, wine, etc) and some extra items for takeout (fresh breads, bagels, cookies).

Simply perfect. We tried three different flavors, all delicious, you could actually taste the quality of each ingredient. We drove all the way from SF, didn’t disappoint. Wanted to try the soft serve with chocolate budino!! We’ll def be back :)

Nestled in Sebastopol, Sonoma Burger is a delightful eatery that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its inviting atmosphere and stylish interior design, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. Their smash burger topped with cheese is a must-try at just $7, while crispy fries can be added for an extra $2.75.
Found out about this new spot! Great location and delicious food! The interior design is amazing and it’s a vibey spot! The burger and fries were amazing but the chicken sandwich was outstanding. 10x better than chik-Fil-a or Popeyes… and only a $1 and some change more. Highly recommend this spot! Great personalities running in too! Best lunch experience!

Great place to grab a bite to eat. My wife and I both got hot dogs. Excellent, local dogs sliced and grilled on a fresh roll. Onion rings were spot on. Garlic fries could have used some actual garlic, but the fries themselves were good. The D&T float was tasty.
Eric M — Google review
The burgers are okay, and priced reasonably. The french fries are $5 for a large and you get nothing. We had to double check that it was a large. Honestly wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Update: 9/19/22 The establishment did reach and sent a gift card via email. When I get a chance to use it I will definitely update my review.
Christopher C — Google review
The flavor was missing and so was most of the burger..... The burger I ordered was the BBQ burger. I was shocked when I got home and found out the $9 burger is about the size of a slider. Not sure what the point is of creating a burger place with a undersized buger? Menu says it has bacon on it but apparently that means bacon bits? I could not find a simple strip of bacon. I got my order to go and also added fries. Single catsup container was half full? Guess someone is making money -just not from me again.

Peruvian restaurant
Nestled in a quaint shopping center off Gravenstein Highway, Incas Peruvian Cuisine is a delightful hidden gem that has quickly captured the hearts of locals since its opening last summer. While it may not yet be on the radar of many tourists, this charming eatery offers an array of authentic Peruvian dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. From their refreshing ceviche trio sampler to crispy tequeños filled with crab, every bite is bursting with flavor.
A Hidden Gem in Sebastopol On a recent weekend day drive past Sebastopol, I was determined to try a new place to eat, so I went to my trusted guide and friend Yelp on my mobile and decided on Inca's Peruvian Cuisine. The place is kind of hidden in a corner of a small shopping center off Gravenstein Highway, very close to where Petaluma Ave and S Main Street end. Anyhow, we walked in, and the place was empty! We were the only ones there! Later, we learned that on Sundays, the crowd shows up at around 5 or 6 PM. Inca's Peruvian Cuisine has been there for about one year. It offers a fusion of Indigenous Incan ingredients with influences from various cultures such as Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, and African! I know! It sounds like a mishmash of various cuisines, but it is surprisingly very good! We started with a Peruvian beet salad (Causa Santa Rosa), sweet plantains (Platanos Maduros), and Ceviche (Clasico). Loved it all! I enjoyed all three, but if you forced me to pick only one, I'd go with the beet salad! It was tasty and different. For the main dish, we decided to share a Lomo Saltado, which is wok-fried tenderloin beef (chicken is an option) with balsamic soy sauce mixed with red onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. It is served with fries and rice. We enjoyed it very much. Throughout our visit, the staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed the experience. I could not leave without trying their Tres Leches, and it did not disappoint! As we were leaving, people began to show up. The place is small, but very nicely setup and maintained. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. Give it a try if you are around Sebastopol.

Empanadas are perfectly crunchy. The pork stew is very tasty, the meat is incredibly tender and flavors of the beans and onions all flow together. Very satisfying and delicious food.

I have been here so many times and each time: the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, and I can’t want to come back! The ceviche is great. The beet salad is delicious!

Definitely try tres leche cake! So creamy and fresh milk flavor! It’s not just a bite size piece of dessert, actually a large slice that two peoples can share! I ordered side rice along with seafood ciapino! Rice is so good!
Nani Y — Google review
Very tasty ceviche here. I wish they had some tostones or patacones to go with the ceviche. If I move to this city I'll be dining here all the time. The place could use a remodel but overall a great experience.
Jemma K — Google review
We came here during the Sonoma County Restaurant Week. Their special 3-course menu ($35) was great! We enjoyed every dish: Ahi Poke Ceviche, Aguadito de Pollo (cilantro chicken soup), Aroz con Mariscos (Peruvian style paella), Seco De Cordero (very tender lamb shank in delicious sauce), Tres Leches De Lucuma (very moist and yummy tres leches cake) and Peruvian flan. Portions were generous, enough for us to take home some leftovers. Service was very friendly and efficient. We will be back!

This place is LEGIT. Totally unassuming & in the back of a business park, but hands-down, the best ceviche we’ve had in years. We sat outside with our dog and feasted. Totally authentic, great staff, terrific menu. 11/10!!

Very good California fusion place for some really cool food. We tried the Humble Chicken Burrito and it was amazing. Especially the meat was extremely delicious and has a nice flavor of spices that reminds me of Indian food. The Barlow shopping area is an outstanding idea that brings Sebastopol an exciting town to visit. Plethora of options and hang out spots.

Yes! A little hole in the wall within the outdoor mall. Ordered the asada burrito. This was absolutely fantastic! The tortilla was grilled on the outside and the perfect wrap for this burrito. They understand distribution. All of the elements in every bite. The cheese helps to bind it all together. The green sauce (they have two styles and the thicker, spicier one was my favorite) paired brilliantly with this burrito. Was a quick stop that makes me want to plan on coming back. 100% would come back.

Pleasant beer garden in a brew pub in downtown Sebastopol. Very good beers on draught and not bad lunch menu. Grilled ham and cheese comes with a Parmesan crust and was tasty with good fries. Kale Caesar had a bit too much garlic, otherwise good. Cheese burger was not good, burger was cooked ok but didn't taste freshly made, probably frozen. Service was just ok, a little slow, but the server was friendly. Good for lunch but don't expect great quality food.

Loved the outdoor patio seating. I thought the food was decent - I got the risotto which was okay - nothing to rave about. The wine selection is good. They had one musician for an hour or so when we walked in around 6:30 pm. Overall, a decent spot for a hang. Though the photo booth is a fun addition.

Hello. Let me start by saying my original review for Hopmonk Sebastopol was not the best. I went by myself and it seemed to me that being by myself did not seem to matter much to the staff. I felt ignored and left to find lunch elsewhere. I do not like leaving negative reviews. I always try to give more than one try to an establishment. So I went back his past Saturday for solo lunch again. Very different experience! I was seated quickly and my server showed up within 5 minutes to take my drink order. I order a Harvest Punch cocktail. It was in front of me in about a minute. It was a little smaller than I expected but tasted amazing!!! For lunch I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with regular fries. It was good but not great. Fairly priced for the area as well I thought. All in all a much better experience.

Service wasn’t great. It was busy but I was ordering abundantly and tipping generously and the snowflake servers were ignoring me and then when I called them out on it, they tattled to their manager and the manager asked me to leave. They seemed more concerned with serving water and chatting to the locals hanging out there then assisting people who had wanted to order food and drinks but didn’t want to be kept waiting for 20 minutes in between seeing a server. Food was tasty, band was good, trivia guy was talented and sounded just like Patton Oswalt. Anyway, pretty nice except they should really make the whole bar self serve since I could have made my own drink faster then the server could be bothered to check on me.

Can’t wait to bring my parents here next weekend!

Try their mushrooms gravy and hollandaise. Off the hook! The service was amazing. All around good experience. We were driving through and I didnt regret our choice at all. Will be back!

I’ve had dinner and breakfast a few times here this week while visiting the area. Food is great! They squeeze their own orange juice. The coffee is great. I’ve had the salmon piccata, French toast, scramble, and eggs Benedict. I recommend everything I’ve had. The kids loved the pancakes and the seasoned potatoes. They are Family owned businesses and they will make sure your meal is perfect.

Nestled in the charming town of Sebastopol, El Coronel Mexican Restaurant is a vibrant and inviting spot that captures the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. With its colorful decor and lively atmosphere, this family-run establishment has been delighting diners since 2002. The attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience while you explore a menu filled with familiar favorites, including their renowned molcajete—a must-try for any visitor.
This place is always one of my go to places in Sebastopol. They have great food and the service is always fast and the staff is super friendly. The canterito is my favorite drink in all of sonoma county but thier standard margaritas are great as well.

A Delicious Detour in Sebastopol While on a day trip north of San Francisco, we took a detour into Sebastopol for lunch. El Coronel was right there, and it looked like a good option because we had our little puppy with us. It was a beautiful afternoon, and they had outdoor seating available. El Coronel Mexican Restaurant was founded by Armando Coronel in 2002 and has been part of Sebastopol's culinary scene since then. It has been a family-run operation for over two decades and serves tasty Mexican cuisine. El Coronel is known for its sizzling fajitas, delicious combinations, flavorful tacos, and burritos. They have a beautiful patio with a complete outdoor bar. The interior is beautifully designed and looks comfortable for individuals and both small and large groups. We started with an order of Guacamole, their House Margarita, and Hibiscus Tea. The Guacamole was freshly made, and there was plenty of it! We enjoyed the combination of fresh guacamole and chips. The drinks were good, too. We decided to share a Parrillada (which means grilled in English) for the main dish. There was plenty of food. The meats (beef, pork, and chicken) were all fresh, well-cooked, and flavorful. It came with a plate of rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and fresh tortillas. I could not leave without trying their flan and was very happy I didn't! It was one of the better flans I have had in a while. The staff was very attentive and friendly. A gentleman, who may have been the owner or manager, stopped by our table and asked how we were doing. He was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience, and as we left, I made a mental note to come back and try their Molcajete! It looked very good!

As a traveler from Santa Barbara, I have enjoyed some very good Mexican food. So, I was looking for some very authentic Mexican food, similar to my Latino roots. Well, I found it here at El Coronel😊❤️ I felt like I was taken back in time to my grandparents house and the scent of Mexican food. The service was excellent, again the food was delicious and the restaurant itself is so bright and decorated with true Latino influence. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in Sebastopol ❤️👍

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and so delicious!!! I ordered the fajita quesadilla!!! I highly recommend! Will be coming back here again in the near future.

The service was great but the food was only so so. We had Chili Verde and a combo plate with a Chile relleno and a sope. That base of the sope was tough and rubbery, I didn’t eat it all. The food was good enough, but not great. It want beer flavorful. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. Maybe we just didn’t order well. Also $9 for a bottle of Negó Modelo seems steep. The menu said it was on draft, but it was just a 12oz bottle.

The menu and food are excellent with full sized servings. The dining room and pet friendly patio are beautiful and both very comfortable. The servers are very friendly, professional, and it feels like they love what they do. This is a "family" that welcomes you like family into their home.

Used to love this place, after five years out of town I came back to my favorite childhood Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately it gave the whole family food poisoning. It was frustrating to not be able to get more tortillas, for the fajitas as well. As I loved this restaurant, i’ll probably be back someday. Maybe.

Nestled in the heart of Sebastopol, Martha's Old Mexico Restaurant is a beloved gem that offers an extensive menu filled with authentic Mexican dishes like carnitas and tamales. The inviting dining room exudes a cozy atmosphere, while the outdoor patio provides a serene escape adorned with charming animal statues. Diners rave about the delightful food and friendly service, making it an ideal spot for enjoying everything from tacos to enchiladas.
We love this place and go out of our way to keep coming back! We always sit upstairs in the back dining area where their whimsical open garden is. Their food is fresh and there’s lots of choices choose from their large menu

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Decor: The enter restaurant has very unique tables and chairs. We sat inside on the fruit themed table per my toddler’s request but would highly recommend you sit outside on the back patio. It is very well staged and takes you to a little slice of paradise. We sat down and the chips came right away along with three salsas. They were very apparently made in house and freshly fried. We ordered the guacamole and it was one of the better guacs I have had. Freshly made with chunks of whole avocado which made for the best texture. For entries hubs and I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo Y Camarones and Pollo Loco. Both were full of flavor and the portion sizes were enormous. We ended up taking majority of the Arroz Con Pollo Y Camarones home to enjoy the next day. If you are looking for really good Mexican food with a great vibe, highly recommend Marthas.

Adorable patio with fans to keep cool. Steak & scampi were okay, but steak was overcooked. Margarita was okay, nothing special. Slow service. Chips weren't fresh and salsa was bland. Free parking.

This place is a hidden gem!! I can’t believe I’ve not eaten here before today but that is definitely going to change going forward! As you can gather from my enthusiasm - the food was delicious! They gave me a cup of salsa and a cup of hot beans to start, and both were fabulous! The hot beans were a surprise for me, but were bursting with flavor. I devoured both. I got the lunch carne asada Colima and ate til I was stuffed… then ate the rest! It was fantastic. I’m already dreaming about going back 🤤🤤🤤 The service was great as well - fast and very friendly.

We recently ate here and I ordered the Tostada Mazatlan Prawns. This was nothing like it was described on the menu and the prawns literaly tasted like spicy dirt. It was horrible. I let the waitress know and she didn't offer to comp the meal. When I ordered sour cream to try to make it somewhat edible I was charged an extra $2! The patio decor was rather ugly and creepy. Don't bother trying this place. Later that night I ended up getting sick from food poisoning.

The back dining area is very romantic with lighting and heaters for enjoying a romantic meal looking at the whimsical garden with fountain. On food, it's all excellent. For a large meal I recommend chili Colorado the recipe is 300 years old, really great. And then the fish taco..is perfection, many toppings it's beautiful with all this fancy salsa cheese special salsa its the best. Many special touches to your meal and dining experience are done at Martha's so you have an excellent time.

From the sampler platter to the Martha’s old Mexico salad, to your tacos, burritos, enchiladas, they have it. They have a patio in the back, which is so secluded and beautiful, it’s all nature. Nestled in the Double Tree Plaza of Rohnert Park, Sushi Hana is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming sushi house offers a diverse menu featuring delectable teriyaki plates, crispy tempura dishes, and innovative fusion rolls that cater to all palates. The freshness of the ingredients shines through every dish, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers in Sonoma County.
Sushi Hana is the best sushi in Sonoma county. I have been coming here for 20 years. The food has consistently been amazing, and recently the tempura has been even better than normal. The sushi lunch specials and Wednesday/Saturday specials is where it’s at. Those are the best times to go, as you can order individual tempura pieces. There are so many things I would recommend, the specialty rolls are great as is the sesame chicken! The quality of the fish has always been top notch, this is where I tell all my friends visiting Sebastopol to go. Will always love this place!

We came here with our friends a couple of months ago. We were seated quickly. My husband ordered a steak teriyaki and he said he liked it a lot. Rich teriyaki sauce had perfectly balanced sweet and savory notes. We also got Philly Roll, Dynamite Roll, and Firecracker Roll. All the rolls were made with fresh ingredients and tasted good, though not the best I've ever had. The service was nice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The ambience was ok. It was a bit dim inside. I would definitely give Sushi Hana another try if I'm in the area again.

This is a sweet place. Friendly staff, pleasant down home atmosphere. Radio playing in the background. We ordered pot stickers, but got deep fried dumplings. Crisp and tasty. The waiter steered us to the freshest fish. We ordered Real California Roll, hamachi, unagi, tamago and futo-maki. The sushi rice was sooooo sweet. The sauce on the eel was so sweet, the tamago was so sweet. It was weird and unpleasant. The hamachi was fresh and delicious. I lifted it off the rice and ate it alone. I wonder why there was no rice vinegar in the sushi rice. And no esthetic in the food presentation. Nice place, not great food.

I really wanted to like it here. The staff were super nice if a little disorganized, missing items in order, not knowing about menu items etc. but the sushi itself was just mediocre. Not bad. Just eh. I’m sorry. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but hopefully they’ll do better in the future.

My boyfriend and i went for dinner. It took about 2 minutes to be seated. For however busy it is you may choose your own. This place definitely has the best tempera. Their steak is not chewy and the portions are always bigger than you expect. Theyre dragon roll is excellent along with the miso soup. If you order udon it comes in a size simular to a salad bowl. Highly recommend. Been coming here for 6 years and the place has never made me feel ill.

Store bought sushi is as good as, if not better. My family loves sushi so we’ve tried many restaurants through the years. We recently moved to Sebastopol and tried Sushi Hana. It was shocking how bad this was. If I wasn’t the one who ordered it, I would have assumed it was from Safeway. Sadly, we threw out more than half of it. Never again

Fandee's Restaurant offers a comfortable and casual dining experience with a variety of delicious American diner dishes and authentic Californian options. The Reuben sandwich is highly recommended for its saucy and tender corned beef, while the fried chicken is praised for its generous portion and well-seasoned, crunchy breading. Despite the occasional long wait during busy times, the attentive servers and fantastic food make it worth the visit.
We come to Fandee’s once in a while and it is always so good. My grandparents go once a week and they LOVE it, they have tried everything on the menu and they recommend the fish and chips, short rib, Marsala, and picatta. They also love the salads. The service is always quick and they usually have a table open and ready, if they don’t it takes only a few minutes. The employees are all very friendly. It is a well run location and we will keep coming back.

Tasty spot for breakfast and lunch. The food is super good, but beware the huge portions! If you're not sharing a plate with someone, be ready to take some food home with you haha. Sushi Tozai is a Japanese restaurant that serves fresh and delicious sushi. It is a great spot for intimate gatherings or for taking out. The staff are always friendly and the food is consistently excellent. The upstairs seating can be quite noisy, but downstairs is more family-friendly and therefore quieter.
Always excellent! I'm never disappointed with the service or food. Super nice folks working here. Upstairs is more family oriented and subsequently louder. The sushi bar and downstairs seating is quieter and more traditional. We opt for downstairs and the regular tables. Sitting at the bar is a bit faster for food, but we like the tables just fine.

Dinner last night mostly disappointed us. My wife had the tempura udon but the shrimp tempura was greasy telling me that they used old oil and the vegetables (usually whole)that was with the shrimp was julienned and unrecognizable. I didn't taste her udon. Spicy tuna roll tasted fine but the fish had a weird color to it. Ordered hamachi nigiri, disappointed, not fish from Japan but I believe it was caught in California, probably cheaper in price, not much taste. Can't mess up saba, but was served with a weird spicy sauce which that didn't go well with the fish. I've eaten at a lot of japanese restaurants and even worked at one in SF, won't be going back.

A decent place to visit [will be ordereding to go now], ordered separately from my partner, but food was odd still plated together [food was ordered separately due to needs]. Avocado roll is $7 for 6 pieces, mostly rice... Other than that, quick and simple service. Highly reccomend getting an air filter to have for the small dining room. It was a bit stuffy and uncomfortable and I won't be returning in person due to that. Thanks!

Love Tozai! Been a long time since I last went, and it's only gotten better. The wait time was short, sushi and appetizers were delicious as usual, and it was perfect for a birthday dinner. We ordered family style, with 7 or 8 rolls, and got the most delectable looking (and tasting) platter of sushi, as pictured. Pricing is pretty reasonable for the food/for Sebastopol, too! Would recommend :)

This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.

Nestled in the charming town of Sebastopol, O & C China Bistro offers a delightful dining experience that combines a touch of elegance with classic Chinese-American cuisine. The bistro's inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its tasteful decor, making it an ideal spot for those looking to indulge in a slightly upscale meal while enjoying the local wine culture. The menu features all the beloved favorites like Kung Pao chicken and orange chicken, expertly prepared to satisfy your cravings.
The portions were bigger than I expected (given that we’re in Sebastopol) and each dish was full of flavor. Not quite as healthy as I was expecting (lots of sauce on everything) but honestly it hit the spot and was exactly what I was craving. Will definitely come back! And the staff are so nice.

I had an average dinner (fine so far, was not expecting a great food experience) and an initial pleasant service experience with my niece who was visiting from England. I left a 20% tip. The server was using one of those portable point-of-service devices. I selected 'No Receipt' after payment. So, imagine my shock when the same very waitress and the owner came running out of the restaurant shouting "you need to pay! you need to pay!". We calmly stated we most certainly did pay and I can prove it by simply going into my bank app to show the payment. The manager or the owner then questioned the server again to confirm the table number where we were seated. After she confirmed it was table 17, he could see that we did in fact pay. He apologized and confirmed that it was the lady next to us who did not pay. This would all be fine except as people of color, it is particularly embarrassing to be chased down in a parking lot being accused of 'needing to pay'. I am wondering if the owner or manager went back inside and told all the folks that we did in fact pay and it was the white lady at the other table they needed to speak to. Unfortunately little incidents like these put an indelible scar in your dining experience. I won't be going back here again.

We LOVE it here! the staff is friendly, great atmosphere with very reasonable pricing. We got a glass of wine, a soda, pork dumplings, orange chicken & chowmein, all for $60 which is great for two people with left overs. I was passing through Sebastopol with a friend and excited to check out the bistro. I’m vegetarian and there was a nice selection of offerings for me. The service was friendly and extremely efficient. The only disappointment was there was a photo of Sebastopol crispy tofu and eggplant that looked delicious on the menu. In the picture, there were long strips of dry crispy tofu slices. It’s just a mouthwatering photo and I was excited to try it. However, when I got the dish, it was cubes of tofu cooked into the gooey sauce, so it wasn’t crispy at all. It would be nice if they changed the photo or alerted people that you weren’t actually getting crispy tofu like in the picture! Aside than that, it was a great experience and a quaint restaurant with a lovely wait staff!
Ellen S — Google review
Nicely decorated Chinese restaurant with some other Asian dishes. Prices had gone up substantially in the past year from the menu the restaurant posted on Google Maps, likely the result of pandemic. I appreciate that the menu with prices is posted on the front entrance so there’s no confusion what you are getting. Only the bar and outside dining areas are open due to labor shortage. At 5:40 pm on a chilly Saturday evening, they had a very busy takeout business and all 4 inside tables were in use. Unfortunately, the food we got was not up to par, both in flavor and ingredients. The mushu vegetable had the right flavor, but they skipped the starch in the sauce so it was completely watery. As for the fried rice with pork, there’s almost nothing other than mostly white rice with some scant pork cubes, with almost nothing else. The pork was also of dubious quality, as I couldn’t tell whether some of it was meat, skin, or some other connective tissues.
Chen D — Google review
We had Wednesday night dinner in the sparsely populated main dining room. O&C presents itself as slighly upscale Chinese dining in a nicely decorated room, etc. It feels to me like this is a Chinese-food nod to the wine tourism in the area, where you can offer a slightly more upscale version to guests wanting to live the good life. The food is rather Chinese-American ordinary, with all the usual suspects (Kung Pao, etc.) on the menu. The food is well executed versions of all these Chinese standards. It's not exceptional, but it's high quality and well-prepared. O&C is not at the level of cultural adventure that Chinese restaurants in San Francisco offer, but's it's a fine local.

Horrible experience! There was a customer that brought there dog into the restaurant. Not only did the dog bark the whole time it was constantly itching itself like it had fleas. Before we finished dinner the dog peed on the table leg! This dog was not well behaved obviously not a service dog. I asked to talk to the owner about the dog and what had happened. He cleaned up the pee and told me he doesn't care about the health department rules. He runs a pet friendly restaurant. I'm sorry this whole experience was disturbing. There was an outside seating area the dog could have been in. I wouldn't have cared if it was a well behaved service dog. I'm calling the health department tomorrow and never going back!!!

Food is delicious, we always order the chicken on a hot tin roof burrito and the Elvis burrito and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxing, very laid back seating with lots of windows. They also make a house made habanero sauce that is to die for! We tend to go right when they open, so parking is not an issue when they aren't super busy.

This place is s real hidden gem. The outdoor seating on a nice day is difficult to beat. The food is no joke, great surf Mex... Burritos and tacos but well made with obvious attention to detail.

We ate often at Papa's and Pollo. The Burritos were very delicious and not the normal Beans and Cheese Burritos served by many other Burittto Mill's. They had great Vegan and Vegetarian options Unfortunately lately the portions are getting smaller and smaller and they charge for pretty much everything extra now. Even for the salad dressing they charge 75 cents. This is like a burger place would charge for ketchup. Their chips are unbelievable 3$ which are included in all other Mexican restaurant. And of course if u want to replace one thing in ur burrito with another equally priced item they will charge for that as well and not reimburse u with the stuff left out. I think there is room for improvement but overall a good place

The slowest service ever. Waited for over 40 mins to get a quesadilla, even though it wasn’t that crowded. Had to ask the kitchen 3 times and it still did not speeded things up.
Vikram M — Google review
I typically pick up my food here as I live in the neighborhood.Recently,I ordered something other than a menu item: a super burrito with shrimp and a sm.bag of chips. At the register,my bill was a few pennies less than $26 ! I was dumbstruck. Although it was very good and a generous portion I can't justify spending that much on a single item. It is sad because it is obvious to me that not as many eat here as in the past. I mean,I can have a sit down meal at Martha's Old Mexico w/tip across town( and my son and I did recently). We both brought food home and he has a big appetite. Bottom line: If you want some business, roll back your prices or just sell to people who are willing to pay ridiculously for what you offer. My quarrel is with the prices and not the product

🌮🐓✨ Review of Papas and Pollo ✨🐓🌮 Listen… if you haven’t been to Papas and Pollo, then honestly, what are you even doing with your life? This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s like stepping through a magical tortilla portal straight into a tiny Mexican beach village where the margaritas are colder than your ex’s heart and the burritos are bigger than your hopes and dreams. First off, the back patio… oh my sweet guacamole. Close your eyes (after you’ve taken your food selfie, obviously) and you’ll swear you’re sitting in a seaside plaza in Baja, listening to waves crash and waiting for a mariachi band to roll through. In reality, it’s just Sebastopol , but don’t tell my imagination that. 🌴🌊 The burrito selection? WILD. It’s like they had a board meeting where someone said, “What if we made every burrito combo possible in the known universe?” And then they did. Chicken, steak, veggie, shrimp, probably unicorn if you ask nicely. You’ll leave stuffed, happy, and slightly confused at how many burritos you just inhaled. Also, this place is family-friendly and dog-friendly—so bring your kids, your dog, your neighbor’s dog, your cousin’s weird dog named “Carl,” whatever. Everyone’s welcome. Your pup gets to vibe under the table while you demolish a burrito the size of a toddler. In conclusion: Papas and Pollo isn’t just dinner, it’s a mini vacation without the TSA lines. 10/10 would recommend. 🌮🐶🍹

Fantastic food! This is a crowd pleaser from vegans to meat lovers, everyone in our group was happy. The tofu tacos were delicious. Our group also ordered many of the burritos and they were all great portions and tasty. Love the fresh salsa and guacamole too. Nice to have a family-friendly option that meets the dietary needs of a large group.

They had a kid friendly menu, a kid zone and dog friendly, it was a little hot inside, but overall the food was amazing, all there food is organic, non gmo, they also have tofu options, I will be going back again.

Mombo’s Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria that offers thin-crust whole pies and slices with counter service. The Sebastopol location is known for its exceptional customer service, accommodating special requests like preparing pineapple separately to avoid cross-contamination. Although the wall mural has been painted over, the deep-dish pizza remains scrumptious, and there are plenty of appetizers and desserts available. It's advisable to order ahead due to their growing popularity.
This is a great spot that we always hit when we are in town. Great variety of pizza and delicious salads. The staff are nice and I love that they are cool with my 9yo and listen when she asks for ALL OF THE OLIVES. This is the spot for tasty, and reasonably priced slices (and whole pizzas).

OK updated review!! Much better visit this time!!! The slices have definitely improved. And the Mombo fries are definitely crispy!! I had the buffalo fries last time but I took them home and they sat for a bit before I got to them so of course they were not so crispy but that’s on me for joy eating them sooner. Bravo Mombo!! Bravo!!

These beautiful people who work here are superheroes. They're up every day supplying power to survivors of this chaotic world. Be sure to tip real good. They deserve it. The best part is communication. They ask how you want it done. The music genre of all types is fantastic, soothing to the ears.

I’m all about thin crust pizza. I grabbed a couple of slices to go and they had great flavor. Slices hot out of the oven don’t sit very long which is always a good sign. I’ll definitely be back

One of the best pizzas I have ever tried. The customer service is exceptional. They greet you with a smile and a kind thank you at the end. Enjoy eating at this place also as I can watch a game while I am enjoying my delicious pizza by the slice or entire pizza. Highly recommend

On a recent drive to Armstrong Redwoods we decided to stop for lunch. What a great pizza place! They sell pizza by the slice so everyone got what they wanted. They also have beer! Very tasty pizza. They have specials and frequent buyers program.

Mombos is my family's favorite pizza in town! My uncles, aunts, cousins, and immediate family love their thin crust New York style pizza. Being born and raised in NYC, they should know good pizza. We ordered two JUMBO pizzas for my cousin's 22nd birthday. One plain pizza which everyone loves. And a half veggie/half pepperoni pizza for those that like meat or some goodies on top. The pizzeria here has nice people who work here, and it's clean and they make their pizzas on time for pick-up. They also use DoorDash to deliver to your home. Mombos has another location in Santa Rosa near the SRJC that is popular. They also have a variety of specials. I printed a coupon online for a discount on our order. There's a fun old-style horse merry-go-round for kiddies out front. There’s picnic tables out front to eat on during Covid.

Muir's Tea Room & Gift Shop in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, may not be the most vegan-friendly spot, but it's a beloved breakfast place for many. The cozy tearoom boasts a charming Victorian exterior and a shabby chic interior adorned with teacups and books. The food is described as incredible and creative, with highlights such as the tofu scramble, quinoa bowl (sans eggs), avocado toast, vegan sausage roll, and mushroom tartlette.
This is the most enchanting place. Today was my second visit and I brought my 8-yr-old son this time and we had the most wonderful holiday tea! They had a special menu for kids and he devoured it. He also loved looking at the gift shop and picked out a stuffed animal for his younger brother, who isn't old enough for fancy tea. All of the staff was attentive and helpful, especially Daniel. The owner is so kind as well. The food was super yummy and I love the presentation on the tiered plates. Highly recommend!

We came here most recently for the Downton Abbey September tea. Every single sandwich or pastry was wonderful - it was my favorite menu yet. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is charming with heartfelt and imaginative decor. Beyond the already creative menu, I’ve learned to also check out the pastry case for additional unique finds - this time, a gold-dusted chocolate frog. The gift shop is also lovely to browse and has yielded some cherished finds. On top of all of this, it is dog-friendly, and so special to be able to sip tea with both human and canine friends. I’m including a few photos also from past visits - last year’s Tiki Tea and Black Hat Society - as well. Grateful for this special place 🙏

Did not know it was a vegan tea room, yet the food was scrumptious and delicious and very true to a british high tea. Scones were beautiful. I Pricey but good. If you Are a vegan then this is a place you must go to if you like tea and nibbles. I am not a vegan , but I will return.

Such a hidden gem! Beautiful presentation, the gift shop gave nostalgic Beatrix Potter vibes. The staff members were sweet and accommodating as we were unfortunately delayed by traffic. The food was lovely (savory items were my absolute favorite!) and we appreciated the thematic naming of the served food items. Everyone including our non-vegan friends gave the food and tea high praise! My partner and I can’t wait to come back soon!

This is the most authentic and whimsical High Tea place in the greater Bay Area. The food is vegan and replicates english Tea sandwiches and pastries to perfection!!! And the atmosphere is enchanting. I am in love with Muir Gardens High Tea Room. ♥️♥️♥️

This place felt like a dream. We stopped by on a whim after visiting Zannah Farms and were so glad we did. The decor was adorable, the food was fresh, and the staff were incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make my sister feel special for her bachelorette. Highly recommend and big thank you to the staff.

Muir’s Tea Room…..a sweet slice of heaven in Sebastopol. From the moment you enter the property, you can feel the coziness, the love, and the care that is put into this business. Each and every person we interacted with was delightful, and Tyler was phenomenal…..he took great care of us, and was charming and attentive. As someone who is not much of a “vegetable” person, I was unsure what to expect. Let me just say, if I had not known this was a vegan spot, I would never have guessed. The fruit was delicious and ripe, and both the sweet and savories were creative and tasty. Loved the veggie puff! Last but not least, the shop…..so many adorable gift items, cards, soaps, stickers. Don’t leave without taking a close look around, you might miss the very thing you have always been looking for.

Customers appreciate the healthful, organic nature of the food and commend the friendly staff for creating a welcoming atmosphere. The spice levels are just right, and online ordering is convenient.
I love this restaurant, the food is amazing, the servers are always nice, food comes out fast and hot from the kitchen, really nice ambiance. My favorite is the malai kofta (pictured), omg 😍 I also love their chai, paneer, and momos. Definitely my favorite Himalayan food in Sebastopol. I decided to leave a review because I was surprised by the recent reviews before mine. I have been here many times and the food is reliably excellent. Also noticed today they have a large private dining room for events or gatherings.

This place really is the best. I go every week. closed on monday's so when you need that tikka masala fix - plan ahead. Everything on the menu is great. My kids like the chicken momo because it's not spicy. They also have amazing rice dishes on all sorts of sizzling platters. their tandori's are also great. Highly recommend this place if you are in Sebastopol.

The food here is great especially the biryanis, the dal makhni, etc. Also seems to be relatively less expensive than other restaurants in town.

I think the meals here are a great bargain...the prices are low but not at the expense of good food. I highly recommend the chicken vindaloo, the naan with spicy peppers and the cauliflower curry. It's a good place for a casual night out with friends.

I arrived here with my family. Was seated in a timely fashion. The fresh squeezed orange juice was awesome. I got the breakfast burrito with fried eggs inside and extra cheese. Hands down the best burrito in the world. Jose is one heck of a chef. Great waffles and pancakes as well. Highly recommend Cant wait to come back.

We thought it was on the ok side. Not a lot of flavor but then again there was so much to choose from so maybe we just chose the wrong things. We went at dinner time and there was no one in the place. It seems more of a breakfast place and maybe I will give it another try for some French toast or something like that. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which consisted of mainly lettuce and I didn't taste any buffalo sauce and the chicken was chopped so small.
Jennifer H — Google review
We ordered the chicken fried steak. Biscuits and gravy, and waffles. Waffles was kid approved and looked great. Chicken friend steak was good. Hashbrowns a ten. Eggs perfect. Everything was great just wish the biscuits were a tad softer but over all good was great, coffee was a ten! And service was terrific. I’d go back.

On weekends they have older hippy type people waiting on tables and they are really good and I get the vibe this is cool. Then I go in there during the week and it's like night and day. Not sure if I will return. And the music on the radio is really bad which makes me want to run out of there, I don't like being forced to listen to a bunch of cheating on you music and the heartache of it all. What is wrong with just some quite jazz.

I had lunch there but ordered the fruit crepes. They were ok. Not my favorite. The service was great. Cute place inside. When I go next time I will order something else.

Three stars for fast, friendly service and a decent cafe menu. There is really nothing outstanding or mind blowing at this little main street café, but as I said are friendly and the food comes fast. As I was enjoying my lunch in this tiny little open air café, looking out on Main Street a number of locals came in and sat down. It was clear they were locals as they recognized each other, greeted each other and also we’re acquainted with the people who worked at the café.. That specific trait is what led me to add my third star. I have to be honest. The food is good, but not spectacular. It is what I expected for a nice little hometown style café. The cole slaw was basic and lacked a little seasoning and the club sandwich was good but not great. Seemed a little small as well. Garlic fries were passable. .

Nestled in a shopping center in south Sebastopol, Viet House Restaurant is a charming Vietnamese eatery that truly stands out. Known for its delectable pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes, this hidden gem offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for a cozy meal. Diners rave about the beef pho, which boasts a rich and flavorful broth that warms the soul with every spoonful.
This place is a gem! The beef pho was absolutely delicious, with the best-tasting broth—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every spoonful was comforting and satisfying. We also tried the fried gyoza dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and packed with savory goodness inside, as well as the edamame, which was fresh and lightly salted, making for a great appetizer. The Thai iced tea was the perfect sweet and creamy treat to complement the meal. On top of the amazing food, the restaurant itself was super clean, and the employees were diligent and kind, making the dining experience even better. Plenty of parking, so no hassle there. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic meal and great service!

Got the “Beef Noodle Soup” and the “Spicy Beef Soup”. Beef Noodle one came with the thin slices of beef. Laughable. The beef didn’t even tasted fresh. The broth is the ONLY reason why this place is getting a 3 star rating. Unfortunately they did not earn a new customer and unfortunately I won’t recommend it. Disappointed.

I haven't had the pleasure of eating here yet but I'm really looking forward to it. I spent a couple hours in this lovely restaurant the other day hanging an art show. The fragrances wafting from the kitchen were so varied and appetizing! The owner is wonderful and I really appreciate that the opportunity to show art here. I support local businesses that feature local art.

I want to love this place but the food is bland and mediocre. The pho broth is watery, the noodles are mushy, and the portion of meat is absolutely tiny. The peanut sauce served with the spring rolls is diluted and tasteless. I come here every year or two hoping that it has improved, but no. $36 for spring rolls and small pho, tax and tip. No wonder I usually eat at home.

I LOVE this place. It's pricey but so is every other restaurant - i really like vietnamese food and this place makes the $ absolutely worth it - the rice plates with BBQ pork/beef is to die for and my go to. the salad appetizer with tofu is a must, the basil peanut chow fun stir fry is RIDICULOUSLY good. i could go on for days. Its never packed so its quiet and a nice place to sit and eat, love it

Flavor Bistro, situated in downtown Santa Rosa's Old Courthouse Square, offers a culinary celebration of Sonoma County with its locally sourced and organic dishes. The bistro boasts an award-winning wine list featuring over 50 local and imported wines, as well as beers from the nearby Moonlight Brewery.
We visited on a Tuesday night but we were surprised at how few people there were. We were seated immediately outside. The service was excellent. The staff anticipate needs like turning on the outdoor fireplace and came at just the right time for our order and the check. My one complaint was the fact that my tiny water glass was almost always empty. The food was exceptional. The gnocchi was perfect in its pullow-like consistency. The pot pie was excellent although a bit runny (I recommend using the crust to soak up the liquid). One down side to this restaurant is the complete lack of parking. The place was empty and we still had to park quite a distance away.

Very good classic Italian style restaurant. The once was bustling on the Saturday night we came in indoors and out but the wait was less that 5 mins for a table for 2. The Salad Lyonnaise (bistro salad) was very good and was nice to see on a menu after having it in years. For drinks we got a granache and a death and taxes, wines prices seems average but tap prices for beers at $9 was a little high. For entrees we ordered the gnocchi with marscapone cheese (didn't look appealing but tasted great) and the prawn salad, great portion sizes on both and the prawns 🦐 we're huge! Great portion size to enjoy with the whole pasta dish. Service was a bit slow on ordering drinks and getting water replenishment. Getting the check took forever, about 20 mins after getting offered dessert 3 separate times and declining each. All and all, great place, low key, will definitely come back. - oh and parking sucks, it's only street parking and you may have to walk a few blocks to dine here.

Love, love, love this restaurant! We used to go when it was located in Santa Rosa and were overjoyed when it re-opened in its new location in Sebastopol. The chef/owner, a truly lovely man, greeted us at the door with "Welcome back home!" and it did feel like homecoming to us. We both had seafood pasta special and it was plentiful, delicious and beautiful. Chocolate torte for dessert was plate-licking good. The warm, unpretentious and friendly atmosphere made our evening perfect. We are definitely coming back!

Okay so the food here was really quite good and I loved the salad, definitely the highlight. Pasta needed a little salt but the reason I’m giving this four stars is the service was ok. From traditional favorites to adventurous combinations like bourbon black walnut and ginger turmeric currant coconut, there's something to tantalize every palate.
This boutique chocolate shop reminds me of Chocolatier in Berkeley, and is curated by David, an owner who takes great care in making custom chocolates with delicious and exotic flavors. He also has a selection of chocolates from around the world that exceeds what a normal chocolate retailer would have. Their sipping chocolate, is to die for, and the location is cool, calm, and quiet, and perfect for doing a little bit of reading. While you enjoy some fine chocolate. Artistry, expertise and time intensive works of delectable delights. They may seem expensive but David could double his prices and still wouldn’t make back the amount of passion and experience he invests into all the truffles, caramels, chocolate and fruit pops, barks, amazing hot chocolates, tea blends and more. This ain’t no candy shop y’all! It’s an experience to savor one small bite at a time. Oh and yes, of course highly curated teas by the cup or pot. A peaceful place to take a breath, have a chat or focus for awhile. If you’re fortunate to be there when he’s drawing the truffles you’ll see what I mean.

This place is da bomb!! Exquisite truffles and caramels….plus a bunch of other yummy stuff that I don’t care about as much 😆. I have a ritual of purchasing the finest truffles I can find for dinner with special friends, and usually I get them from chocolatiers in Berkeley, but this time I was coming from the North — and stumbled upon the one place in Sonoma county that has won First Place for 15 years running. Woot woot! And a 3% cash discount — yay.

I walked in here two days ago and saw that they have a tea tasting on their menu. You can select three teas to try out. So I did. With the help of some suggestions, I tired out a sakura green tea, a milky oolong, and a black tea. The green tea was light in flavor and wasn’t too grassy. It was a light infusion which kept the bitter vegetal notes down, while providing a nice smooth savory flavor from the sakura. The oolong has very strong notes of white peach and butter from the scent. I think it was a bit too fruity for my preference, and it tasted strongly of white peaches. On subsequent brews, the buttery scent and flavor turns more to milk flavors, hence the name. The peachiness is still prevalent. The black tea smelled rich and sweet, but the taste was not sweet. It was still slightly bitter, and low sweetness. It smelt like what I wanted, but didn’t taste the part.

The restaurant hosts special events showcasing different regions of Italy and offers a small but diverse menu with pasta as its specialty. The Burrata Plate with Prosciutto sets the bar high for entrees, while the hand-rolled Cannelloni and Bolognese Ragu are described as divine.

Everything we ordered was 100% absolutely delicious & I will gladly make the drive just to eat here again. Italians love to feed people & as a food lover, I appreciate that! Homemade everything!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness — the staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the lasagna, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly layered, rich in flavor, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can really tell that the pasta is handmade fresh in-house — it had such an incredible texture and delicate taste that you just can’t find everywhere. Every bite was perfection. I will definitely be coming back and trying even more dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Italian food. If you’re a pasta lover like me, you must try their house-made pastas — they are truly something special. Overall, an amazing experience all around — from the food to the atmosphere to the genuinely sweet and attentive staff. 10/10!

My husband and I popped in here while out puttering around. I’m so glad we did! We were planning on just ordering appetizers but they were so good we needed up sharing a pasta dish too. It was incredible! Every bite we had was delicious. We are planning our next visit already!

Francesca was amazing and steered us to the best dishes. Loved the cream , peas and prosciutto with fresh made pappardelle pasta. The saffron cream with roast veggies was great. The homemade tiramisu and chocolate cherry cake were outstanding.

Our waiter , who seemed to also be the manager, was perfect. She even speaks fluent Italian. And seemed to intuit what I wanted before I asked. The food is wonderful. The lasagne the best I’ve had in a long time.

Came here on a weekend recently and truly I’m surprised a place like this is even still getting business. Our server Katy was amazing and so kind. After placing our order we had waited for 3 orders of bread, 2 came and the other was 5-8 mins behind. No problem as it was nearing end of the night. One person had asked for balsamic for their burrata. By the time the third bread came out entrees were coming out. We asked for additional balsamic as the prior one was out and the server was more than accommodating however the owner made a huge fuss about how we shouldn’t have gotten another as there was one on the table. When I say the remaining one had just a small residual left I’m not kidding. Fast forward to the main dishes, I had ordered the Mediterranean lemon chicken with roasted vegetables. My dish had literally 4 small pieces of chicken, a burnt zucchini top and that was it for $23 The manager and her husband are truly ruining it for their staff. Never should you reprimand an employee like that in front of their table, nor tell the dish washer to get in the back and not be seen. It truly felt like we were in a different dimension with how they were operating this place. I have previously worked in the industry and for very high end companies. Never have I seen someone treat their employees this way. We did tip well as it wasn’t our servers fault for the hiccups and she was doing her absolute best. However management needs to fix their attitude asap. I can’t say I’d recommend this place unless you are able to enjoy lots of wine and ignore the degrading behavior displayed.

Wow! We just enjoyed this gem of a place as locals after 5 years of driving past it. We found another place that our hearts desire. Most definitely look forward to coming back! For dessert we enjoyed their luscious tracksuit and brought home their homemade bread.
Laura L — Google review
Cool location, seating was nice. But the rest was very sub par. The price was towards the med high end and did not live up to anything. Very small non alcoholic menu, 2 Italian sodas, tea was offered and some mocktails I believe. The dishes were a severe let down. The bread, olive, and cheese plate was sad, with the tiniest room temp hard loaf, and 3 cheeses 1 of which was quite overwhelming strong for a general plate. My ravioli with sage butter was also just as sad in both portion but especially boring. My wifes bolognese lasagna was also incredibly bland, being 95%noodle and creme and no bolognese visible. Our service was also pretty sad. Our waiter was new, which is no big deal, but he struggled to explain anything on the menu which was accompanied by who I assume was the male owner abrasively cut him off from across the isle, instead of taking the opportunity to do some hands on training. And lastly we spent about 10+mins total listening to the host 4 feet away from us.... PEN DRUM SOLO over our waiting conversation... 😆

Coffee shop
Retrograde Coffee Roasters in downtown Sebastopol is a beloved spot for locals, offering small-batch roasted coffee and locally sourced ingredients. The cafe boasts a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with abstract artwork, plenty of plants, and free Wi-Fi. Guests can savor house-made specialty lattes like cardamom and turmeric while indulging in flavorful breakfast sandwiches.
Retrograde is always a must! I've had some of the best mornings and best lattes out front of this shop. Service is fast and accurate, and boy, is the staff friendly!!!! There are many options for everyone. Retrograde is truly inclusive and greets all their customers with a smile. The food is just as impressive as their coffee. You can taste the love and quality in everything they do. No detail goes unnoticed. Don't skip it! Side note: you can purchase 5lb bags of their beans on their website. Shipping is fast and affordable.

The breakfast sandwiches are THE BOMB here! You can get them on a bagel or english muffin - I got the english muffin and it was so so good. The perfect start to my morning, along with a delicious latte. The staff was super friendly and the place is really cute! Highly recommend checking it out.

Stopped by Retrograde Coffee Roasters for a quick cappuccino, and it was perfect—just the way I was looking for. The café has plenty of seating, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The service was quick, and I appreciated that the restrooms, located behind the shop, were well-maintained. Overall, a solid coffee stop, and I’d definitely come again!

My boyfriend and I have been frequenting this coffee house for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s the best in the county, possibly even the state. It’s our absolute favorite place, and for good reason. The service, food, and coffee are all superb. The atmosphere is hip and welcoming, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to everyone. I’m genuinely surprised by the few negative reviews I’ve read here. Considering how often my boyfriend and I come here—sometimes twice a week, lol—we’ve never had any negative interactions. We also love supporting a local business, so keep up the amazing work! We love you guys!

Visiting for mother's day: Great cappuccino and kid friendly atmosphere to bring the family together. I will be sure to grab a mocha before I go, or next time I drop by as they offer one using unsweetened dark chocolate, a personal favorite of mine.

I'm going to be real, I used to love this place. But the past 5 times I've gone, my coffee order has been kind of awful, I'm sorry to say... Not sure what changed, but I hope they can get back on track. It gets pretty crowded, can be hard to find a place to sit, but if you manage to grab a seat it's a cool place to hang out. The vegan breakfast sandwich is great, and everyone who works there is an absolute delight. But dang, that coffee situation really isn't good....

El Tarasco is a longstanding Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Austin that is known for its delicious food and friendly service. The menu features items such as tacos, enchiladas, and al pastor, all of which are truly fantastic. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for those on a budget. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion.
For the past 20 years, Elias has been serving the beautiful people of Sebastopol delicious, traditional Mexican food 🥑🌮🌯🍻. I had a pit stop in Sebastopol and did a Google Maps search, so many great places in the downtown area but El Tarascos stood out! Today I had the Chile Verde plate 🤤 the pork was so tender and the Chile Verde sauce was perfect! Support this local business, you can order to go too!

Tasty food with fresh ingredients. There are several Mexican restaurants in Sebastopol, but this is the one we go to most. Prices are moderate. Portions are ample. They provide reasonable amounts of chips and salsa. We have never had a bad experience. We mostly order take out. The service is friendly and the preparation is timely. And I must admit the convenient parking is a big plus

First time ordered carnitas super burrito to go, no rice no cheese. There was plenty of meat. I ran into the sour cream halfway through the burrito. No guac which is unusual for super burrito. Salsa was very good. Chips were not great, kinda stale. Friendly greetings when entering and looked clean with big menu on wall. Decent prices.

Ice cream shop
Two Dog Night Creamery offers a unique ice cream experience with flavors made using liquid nitrogen. While some customers feel that the prices are high and wish they could sample the flavors before purchasing, others rave about the delicious and flavorful options available. The Banana Foster Crunch flavor is particularly recommended by visitors for its exceptional taste. Despite the lack of sampling, many patrons express a desire to return for more of this delightful ice cream.
If you're looking for a charming, feel-good spot to satisfy your sweet tooth, this family-owned ice cream shop is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the kind of personal service you just can't get at big chains. The ice cream itself is top-notch—creamy, rich, and clearly made with care. They offer a great variety of classic and creative flavors, many of which rotate regularly, so there's always something new to try. Standouts for me were the homemade waffle cones and their seasonal specials. What really makes this place special is the love and attention behind everything they do. You can tell the family takes pride in their work, from the quality ingredients to the friendly conversations at the counter. It's the kind of place where kids light up, and adults find a little nostalgic joy. Highly recommended for a treat that feels both indulgent and heartfelt.

We saw the Peppermint Brownie Ice Cream Taco in Sonoma Magazine, and were excited about going to get one. What a disappointment when we tried this "treat." DON'T get one of these ice cream tacos from Two Dog Night. I bought one yesterday for $8 and it was half-melted when they handed it to me. It was wrapped in stiff plastic, so it was difficult to know if it was solid or liquid, but when I sat down to open it, I realized that the ice cream had almost completely melted and the cone was soggy. I had asked about whether it should have some liquid in it and assumed that it was soft because it was some sort of mint topping. The girls behind the counter didn't answer me one way or another and they appeared to be distracted by something other than their customers. I can't believe they sold it to me like that. They looked in a couple of freezer/refrigerators down near the floor before they found one for me. I had expected it to be freshly made, but this one appeared to have been sitting around for days in what was clearly a not-cold-enough freezer. Don't buy these. What a rip-off, poor and careless service, and unhygienic food. I'm done with Two Dog Night. Stay away from this place. They'll serve you garbage if given the chance.
David L — Google review
If you care about the organic, velvety, local milk as the main base of your ice-cream, this creamery is your place to go. The best ice-cream in the Bay Area I tried so far, well balanced in terms of sugar and no natural flavors, real ingredients. Stunning ice cream, soooo yummy!
Diana N — Google review
Ice cream is decent. No sample spoons is diabolical at an ice cream joint. Also they have one size cone, a giant waffle cone for my child’s one scoop that fell into the depths of this giant cone that she had to eat away to get to the ice cream. If I want ice cream from Sebastopol I’m going to Screaming Mimi’s from now on.
Tim H — Google review
Amazing ice cream. The salted caramel was so good. My daughter had the creamsicle and wow so good! The banana split is a decent size. We will be back.
Lindsay U — Google review
The ice cream is good, but for the price it really isn't worth it. Also, they won't let you taste anything. If I'm going to pay $9 for ice cream, I would really like to make sure I'm going to like the flavor. Surely the $9 per person could cover 1-2 tastes; you'd think that would be built into their cost model. I know the ice cream is made with nitrogen, but other than that, there's nothing too different about it. They do have some unique flavors. The thai flavor was really good.
Kristen H — Google review
At Two Dog Night creamery, I walked by and saw “Banana foster crunch”. Say no more, you already have me. This ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen, but they make batches in the morning rather than made to order. It was super delicious and one of the best banana ice creams I have ever had. I was super happy with this ice cream.
Christian L — Google review
After a lunch of tacos stopped to try their special ice cream that's made with co2. I had choc hazelenut wafer and mint chocolate, delicious is all I can say. They have lots of flavors to choose from so everybody should be able to find one they like. Can do cups or cones plus they have lots of toppings. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff plus locally owned.

Taqueria El Favorito is a popular spot known for its no-frills, counter-serve setting and a convenient drive-through. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican favorites, with their burritos being particularly praised for their flavorful spice and the option to add cheese-laced enchilada sauce. While some customers have had mixed experiences with the service, many rave about the excellent tacos and recommend trying the Suiza.

my mom and i have been going for years. today we went and picked up food to go. we then went to a grocery store before returning home to eat. After opening our takeout, we were appalled to find rotten, brown lettuce and avocado in our food. We returned and requested a refund. Our original total was 36 something for an order of enchiladas, flautas, and super nachos. We originally paid $20 cash and $20 card, and got some change back. The Super nachos we had ordered were fine so we kept them and did not include them in the refund request. We requested a refund and were refunded the incorrect amount, all while the person at the front desk argued with my mom about prices. Super nachos are priced at $8.50 on their menu, but they told her they were actually $10, which is inaccurate advertising from what their menu says. they also don’t read you the total that you will be paying after you order. DO NOT EAT HERE. plz see my photos for reference.
Helayna S — Google review
My wife, baby, and I were so excited to try Taqueria El Favorito, especially with the convenience of a drive-thru and a sleeping baby in the car. Our excitement grew when we saw the incredibly low prices—a $6 steak quesadilla in California? That's almost unheard of. Unfortunately, that moment of eager anticipation was the best part of the experience. Turns out, they can offer a quesadilla at a bargain price by making it a third of the size. The quesadilla was tiny, almost comically so. To make matters worse, they don't bother to cut the steak before putting it in, so you're left with big, tough, dry, and bland pieces of over-charred flank steak. Trying to tear the quesadilla apart was a struggle, especially since it wasn't even cut into manageable pieces for us. The cheese was forgettable and there wasn't enough of it to even attempt to hide the sad state of the meat. The only bright spot was their salsa—both the Pico de Gallo and the Salsa Verde were genuinely good and flavorful. Sadly, while I was wrestling with my quesadilla, I managed to knock the cup of Salsa Verde all over the inside of my car. The service wasn't much better; the guy at the speaker seemed completely uninterested in being there. Given the poor food quality and lack of care, we won't be back.

Best damn super burrito in town. My go-to is the AL Pastor, make sure to get the green salsa as well. I have been eating here for twenty years and it always hits the spot. The super quesadilla is the best around as well. I think I have ate at every taqueria in Rohnert Park and this place is my favorite.

Good food. But the manager talks hella smack about people he knows nothing about. The paisa employees are always friendly and hard working. Of all the times I've been there only had one disappointing meal. Chile Verde is on point and there Asada is always good. The salsa Verde is one of the best in the county.

Great value, friendly staff, generous portions. Finding a good veggie burrito for less than $10 nowadays is a rare and welcome find. The drive thru is convenient as well.
Wes S — Google review
Pulled up in the drive through, sat for many minutes without anybody acknowledging our arrival. Pulled up slightly to see two employees at the open back door talking, in full view of the drive through, and somehow could not seem to get their attention. Pulled up to the drive through window and sat for a couple minutes before we gave the horn a small honk without response. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else. All at 12pm on a Saturday....
Daniel D — Google review
I come here quite often the tacos are always excellent and you must try the Suiza if you have not had one they are amazing. Sad day today because the manager told me there will not be tongue tacos until the prices drop on tongue. Hopefully they can find a new meat purveyor that can get them a decent price on beef tongue. If anyone reads this from the store you can try Costco they have it available. Hopefully next time I come it will be available.

Taco Bell, a beloved American fast-food chain established in 1962 by Glen Bell in Irvine, California, has become synonymous with delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine. This vibrant eatery offers an array of mouthwatering options including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. With its unique blend of novelty dishes and budget-friendly items on the menu, Taco Bell caters to all cravings while ensuring speedy service.
It's fast food, so obviously, we're not expecting miracles here. For Taco Bell, i.e., fast food, it's great. One of the better locations I've been to.

I love this taco Bell but last night we came here for something new that we wanna try and there isn't that much meat we tried those new cheese and chicken little chalupa things and there wasn't that much chicken on them and they honestly were a little dry 😞 we went through the drive through and it took a little minute to make the food usually this is our go to cause all the others is more expensive so we always go here and spend the money we usually spend at least $30 to $40 because we are taco Bell people lol! But I just wished there would be a little more meat and substance to it..

I love this place, I really do. But literally every time I do drive through, something happens with my order, which is the only reason why I am marking this review lower. Got my 3 soft supreme tacos, when i reached to unwrap all three were very cold, like out of the refrigerator. I went through the drive thru to have them re-make and spoke with the MOD, who copped an attitude with me and told me ‘pull around front, we have customers behind you’… What am I?? I’ll tell you what I am, a former customer. This place needs an overhaul, less entitled Serve-us mentality and more customer service. Very sad
