Restaurant
Libby's Southern Comfort is a cozy former grocery store turned restaurant in Covington, offering a blend of Midwest and Southern cuisines. The menu features classic comfort dishes like mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, po' boys, and crowd-pleasing fried chicken. In addition to these staples, the restaurant also incorporates influences from Cincinnati and northern Kentucky with unique offerings such as goetta hush puppies and pimento cheese fritters.
First time trying Libby’s and the food did not disappoint. The fried chicken sandwich was massive and the batter was light and crispy. I could eat this sandwich weekly. The fries were 10/10 and the flavor on the oyster po boy was great; super soft bread. Service was attentive and drinks were good. The dessert menu looked incredible. I was really hoping the crème pies were available, sadly sold out! We snagged a bread pudding to go and it barely made it home! We will definitely be throwing Libby’s into our dinner rotation.

The food was good. (The wife wanted more southern choices). The portobello sandwich was messy but tasty. You’ll just need to ask for extra napkins. The hot honey chicken sandwich was tasty as well, would have preferred it to be a little more messy though. The seasons fries were crispy and had great flavor. We liked the atmosphere, it was open with a rustic decor. We were there during great weather so it was open air which made it even more pleasant. Service was very good. Definitely recommend.

Libby’s Southern Comfort is incredible! My best friend and I stopped here for lunch during our girls trip, and I’m still thinking about it. The hot honey chicken sandwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mac n cheese? Unreal. Creamy, rich, and totally unforgettable. The restaurant has a modern, welcoming vibe, and our server was amazing—so friendly and full of great energy. Even though I live four hours away, I’ve already told everyone I know about this place. I’m 100% coming back with my husband. Libby’s is a must-visit!

Stopped in at Libby’s at 2:45 today (Saturday) for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty other than one table of four. We made it halfway across the restaurant and were asked to wait a moment while the bartender/hostess cleaned a table. She didn’t bother to wipe down the booth seat which was covered in sesame seeds and other debris. Once seated, our server quickly came by to get our drink order. The entire visit, the bartender/hostess and two servers were either on their phones, sitting with the other occupied table and talking loudly, or visibly eating food in the kitchen. Our server was the only floor staff who kept herself busy refilling straws, cleaning, refilling sugars, etc. I ordered the shrimp roll and Southern Mac and cheese with a sweet tea. Hubby ordered the two piece chicken with Mac and cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The shrimp roll description gave the impression of big flavors. The only real flavor came from the Grippos bbq chips. There was an excellent quantity of shrimp, but even with the old bay/mayo seasoning it was bland. I was excited for the Southern Mac and cheese - but was disappointed in the flavor as well. No cheesy flavor, no southern kick at the end, not even a bread crumb. It was almost like plain Mac noodles with cheddar melted on top. Hubby’s fried chicken was better. Good crunch on the chicken skin, nice brine albeit a little salty. The meat was super juicy. His Mac and cheese was also mediocre. The fries were tasty, but not house made. The biscuit was “fine”. The sweet tea was perfect. I’ve never in my life had bland Southern food until today. My husband’s granny from Alabama would not approve.
Jen M — Google review
Libby’s was fun to visit with friends for dinner, its location is quaint and is a bit small, but there is ample outdoor seating if you don’t mind the heat. High level, service was great & food was good, but there was nothing memorable enough on the menu to make me desire to return. The fried green tomato batter was thin which caused it to flake off when I cut into it. Wouldn’t order again. The avocado sandwich was good. I had to cut the sandwich myself upon arrival. The fries were tasty too. Service was great, they executed all of our dietary modifications excellently. One callout out- the lack of other tables/customers had the waitress rushing our meal unintentionally.

Best Dammm Restaurant 200 miles from Cincinnati.. Deviled Eggs, Bologna Sandwich, Fried Green Tomato.. Great Slushie. Make your Way to Libby if you want your taste buds to dance.
Mathew C — Google review
Visited on a Saturday around dinner time. Busy but not slammed. No wait for a 2 top table. Server was great! Checked back often but was not pushy or made us feel rushed at all. Drinks: Cherrwine Bourbon Slush FTW! This is a great cocktail. Appetizer: Goetta Hush Puppies - The reason we came. Weird texture; I'm sure from the combo. Not off putting, just different from expectations. I was expecting typical, light brown southern hush puppies with a little goetta. They were dark, almost burnt and tasted that way. No goetta flavor, no light batter... Very disappointing. 1/10. The remoulade sauce was great but couldn't save them. Food: Hot Honey chicken sandwich was great! Very crispy and juicy...not an easy combo. Hot Honey sauce was perfect..slight heat, sweet and not too much of it to be over powering! Bun was perfectly toasted! 10/10 would order again. Cole Slaw (on the side). Not sure if it was homemade or food service, but great flavor, not overly dry or moist. Nearly a perfect slaw. Picked onions were STRONG! (I'm not a fan of picked onions in general so....) Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Where's the garlic? Very little flavor of any kind in this scoop of mashed potatoes. Ordinary and plain. Nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. 3/10 Willy Burger. Great flavor, albeit very dry. Smoky undertones. Hate to ruin the flavor with a condiment, but was necessary due to dryness. 6/10 = Would be higher but can you say DRY! Southern Mac n Cheese. Better than the mashed potatoes. Good flavor, gooey cheese. 8/10 Overall, 4 cocktails ($40 - not bad at all!) , 2 sandwiches and an appetizer ($57).... Total: $97 pre tip. (don't forget the 3% credit card fee! I mean, come on! Yes it is clearly on the menu but who honestly goes out with that much cash for a meal these days!?) So $100 and $10 to park in the lot across the street. Wasn't busy and no close on street or free parking (maybe there is but not familiar enough with the area to know). $130 meal that wasn't impressive or anything special. YMMV.

Really good food. Had Hot chicken sandwich (not very spicy, slight tang) with collards for a side.. Collard were the hit. Perfectly cooked! I'd have bought a big bowl and been perfectly happy with them alone. Awesome wait staff. Great attention and never felt forgotten.

Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
KungFood Amerasia is a quirky Taiwanese restaurant located in Covington, offering a diverse menu of Chinese dishes and an extensive selection of craft beers. The restaurant's eclectic decor features Kung Fu movie posters and paper lanterns, creating a unique and comfortable dining atmosphere. Known for its laid-back vibe, excellent service, and delicious food, Amerasia is a popular spot in Northern Kentucky. Dishes like the Dragon Breath wontons and General Chu's orange sesame street chicken are favorites among patrons.
Excellent food, great table service and the food came out super fast. The sesame chicken level 3 was perfect. Level 4 is where the heat really begins. The apps are fantastic as well. The pork egg roll and dumplings were delicious. Definitely will be returning.

4 of us ate here on a Friday evening while cycle touring. We all had appetizers, drinks, and entrees. Though not expensive or “fine dining”, all of us agreed that this is an exceptionally good and well-balanced restaurant. One of the best, and cycle touring has given us the full range. All staff cheerful, helpful, well-informed, and handoff well. Perfectly seasoned, delicious, and healthy meals. Very interesting decor, lively and happy patrons, background music well chosen and at right volume for conversation. Highly recommended!
David W — Google review
I had a fun and unexpected experience walking past Kungfood on my way to another restaurant but was drawn in by its clever and overtly Asian pop-culture vibe. The eclectic interior draws from all kinds of Asian cinema and cultural references, making it visually fascinating. The shotgun-style space is cozy, with the bar and dining area up front, the kitchen in the middle, and a quirky back section with restrooms, a small shop selling drinks and knickknacks, and another bar where you pick up takeout. I noticed four tables pushed together in the back and asked a server about them—they turned out to be Mahjong tables! I’m not sure if they host game nights or if the owners just love Mahjong, but it adds to the charm. The food was delicious. You can stick with American-style Chinese favorites or venture into more authentic dishes—many of which have a Taiwanese influence, as the owners are from Taiwan. Overall, it’s a wonderful little place I plan to revisit, especially to bring friends who haven’t experienced Taiwan or who would appreciate the colorful, graphic eye candy. I’d also love to see what it’s like here at night!

I really enjoyed my lunch. The service was phenomenal!!!! The food was very good. And I love the fact that they let you choose your spice level because unlike everyone else these days I am not a fan of heat. Lol.

Unfortunately, I cannot review this place highly. I have tried both dine in and carry out. The portions are laughably small on the carryout side, especially with the way the economy is right now. $12.99 here, and I could go walk to Bridges right down the street which will give me a ton of food for a similar price, not to mention a variety in what I receive. The atmosphere here is amazing - one of the most interesting looking restaurants I've been to in a long time. Unfortunately, the reality is that the food simply does not match the atmosphere. The portions you receive for carry out should be about 2x where it is right now to be worth the squeeze. Outside of portions, the food itself is... okay at best. Less flavorful than your traditional hole-in-the-wall carryout joint, too. I would recommend finding one of those styles of restaurants and avoiding this one altogether based on the price tag. The amount of time waited for carry out was also high. All that said, this is maybe my biggest disappointment when it comes to eating in Covington. Especially with my personality and interests, this seems like it would be a perfect place to eat and grab a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is far outclasses the food -- and let's not forget that the food is THE most important aspect of ANY place to eat, especially in this economy.

I got chicken and mixed vegetables and the big Bertha egg roll, the egg roll was tasty but the veggie version was very one note and tasted mostly of cabbage. It would be nice if they modified the mix with some different things like shredded carrots or something. Everything was very tasty and it was a nice bar with a very neat atmosphere
Johnny R — Google review
Hits. Every. Time. Their vegetarian meals are incredible — the pad thai, how fun noodles, sesame tofu and general tsos are my favorite, and their big bertha egg rolls are insanelyyyyy good. Great service and fast always, big portions. A gem.

By far one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The imperial beef stew was out of this world delicious. It was piping hot and wonderfully spicy. I didn't want to stop eating. The service was great and had very neat decor.

Tried this place for the first time last night for date night. My girlfriend had been here before and enjoyed it, so we decided to give it a shot. We arrived around 8 PM on a busy Saturday night. They took our name and quoted a 30-minute wait, which wasn’t a problem—we grabbed a drink at a nearby bar while we waited. When our table was ready, we were seated in an overflow dining area next door. The decor and ambiance were similar to the main restaurant, so no complaints there. Service started off fine but declined pretty quickly. There were about seven tables in our section, plus a bar area. One of the tables was a large group, but they were already finished eating when we walked in and left shortly after. So not a lot of folks on our side. We ordered drinks, chips and queso, and our entrées. The drinks came out quickly and were good, and the chips and queso followed soon after. The queso itself was just okay—nothing memorable, but a decent snack while waiting for our main dishes. For my meal, I ordered a taco flight with the Plain Jane, the Happy Pappy, and the Filthy Fajita. The Plain Jane was the best of the three, but still nothing special. The Happy Pappy was just okay—the carnitas were a bit dry. The Filthy Fajita, however, was straight-up bad. The steak was so tough I had to spit it out, and I ended up removing it from the taco entirely. On top of that, I could tell my tacos had been sitting for a while based on how the queso had hardened—definitely not ideal. My girlfriend ordered the Birria Ramen (which we heard is being removed from the menu soon) and the Becky taco. The ramen was pretty good—not the best birria we’ve had, but it got the job done. Thankfully, she had a better taco experience than I did—she really enjoyed The Becky. The wait for our food was long, but given how busy they were (and the time needed to cook the ramen), it was somewhat understandable. What wasn’t understandable was how long it took to get our check once we finished eating. By this point, the room had mostly emptied out, but despite our server clearly seeing that we were done, we sat for what felt like forever waiting to pay. It felt like we were on their time, which was frustrating. All in all, this place won’t be getting a return visit from me. The service was subpar, and the food wasn’t worth the $80 tab. For that price, I know we could have had a much better meal—and experience—somewhere else.
James H — Google review
Awesome food and good service but...........if I order a drink and you bring me the wrong drink why am I paying for both!!! Ordered a pineapple margarita without jalapenos and was brought the one with jalapenos. I was just going to suck it up, but the manager came with a new one and said there was a mistake. The server even came and said she took someone else's drink. No big deal but was still charged for three drinks. Wow just wow! I have never been charged for a servers mistake before. Had I noticed this at the restaurant I would have disputed it right then and there. Bad bad business!
Paula P — Google review
This is a place I went to for the first time because I saw a video online with their Crispy Chicken Burrito and I had to try it. While the one in the video had a bit more filling, it was still delicious and I would 100% recommend you to come here and try their delicious food!! The agave BBQ jam was ridiculous and I would probably enjoy anything with this stuff on top of it!! If you’re around any of their locations, I say give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!
Robert H — Google review
I love it here! The art inside is so different and makes this place so aesthetically pleasing. I love the selection of bourbon and tequila!! Definitely some premium spirits at this bar. Stephanie made my experience even better with her knowledge of the menu and suggested the grilled chicken burrito. Never had Mac and cheese and bacon in a burrito with barbecue sauce! Tastes amazing and this is a great start to my first time in Covington. Moving to the area soon and definitely will be back!!!
Julian N — Google review
Ian and Anna were phenomenal. They took care of me and made it a wonderful experience. I haven't been here in awhile and I'm so glad I came back for a quick lunch. They were super busy but got everything to me in 30 mins or less! Drink was great too :) thanks guys!!

Camp Washington Chili is a must-visit landmark in Cincinnati, serving up delicious chili and casual food 24 hours a day (closed on Sundays) in a charming 1940s-style space. When visiting Cincinnati, trying the local chili is essential, and Camp Washington Chili is an iconic spot to experience this regional specialty.
Great customer service, and food was good. I like the chili hotdog, the atmosphere brings you back to the 50s. Also, it's very convenient because it's open 24hours. The prices are reasonable too
Town T — Google review
Happy to have experienced a Cincinnati chili experience (beside Skyline). However, the nostalgia ran thin quickly. Food was 100% as expected and desired. However, the restaurant needs to pay their AC bill. It was uncomfortably hot. Making it equally uncomfortable was seeing the staff actively complaining and sweating during service. Either close until repaired, or manage your staff. Paying guests shouldn't be exposed during service. I am happy to experience, but one and done for this Cincinnati tourist.
Mark S — Google review
Classic spot for Cincinnati-style chili! Rich, bold flavor with a nice coarse beef texture. Loved the three-way over spaghetti, and the retro diner vibe makes it even better. Open 24/6 – perfect for any time you’re craving chili.👍🏻
Sianna L — Google review
Camp Washington Chili is one of Cincinnati's crown jewels and his been a tradition since 1940 winning many awards for their great food. With that being said, i don't get a chance to stop by all that often but when we do we always look for a great food experience for sure. On this particular visit in October 2025 my wife and i arrived around the 10:15 am to 10:30 am hour. From the outside this place looks so amazing and when you enter the neon lights set this place off. With its 50's retro tables and chairs and the walls filled with great memorabilia, it certainly makes you feel welcome. On this rain morning we wanted to stop in to check out their breakfast of which they did not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the scrambled eggs with a side of toast which was presented to our table steaming hot. For me it was a classic double decker of ham and turkey on white bread. The servings are more than generous as compared to some other restaurants for sure so the portion size on this day was appreciated. If you get a chance be sure to check out all the articles, photos and media accolades that acknowledge this Cincinnati favorite. Camp Washington Chili is open 24 hours a day except when they close on Sundays, for time with family.
Greg S — Google review
We have had Gold Star and Skyline and Gold star is our favorite of those two but wanted to try some non chain locations to see which one we felt was best. Out of the 4 we tried and adding the 2 chains, Camp Washington was not our favorite. It would rank 6th for us. The exterior was uninviting at the drive through area. Could use some cleaning. Service was okay. However, the sauce tastes like beer which for none beer drinkers it’s not appealing but that wasn’t the deal breaker. Bun was sooo soggy you couldn’t pick it up to eat. My bread and hotdog ended up being eaten separately as it fell completely apart. I’m being very generous with the stars.
KJ H — Google review
A cincinnati classic, they have all the great classic diner food in a clean 50's style. the cincinnati style chili they have is a taste closer to normal chili then skyline chili

I waited 22 minutes for a tuna sandwich and fries. I won’t be going back anytime soon took up my whole lunch break, and I called the order in prior to coming they were serving everybody else ordered that came after me. I had to go up to the counter and ask them about my tuna sandwich. Three other people that came after me got their food before I did…. Tuna sandwich and fries was 3/5 stars it was tasty but nothing to keep going back .

Affordable and delicious! The service was a little off. The cook and wait staff were lacking the manager on duty after he asked them to clean some stuff during a slow period. The employees seem unenthusiastic and not motivated. The manager was pleasant, never stopped working, and dressed professionally.

Knockback Nats is a popular dive bar in downtown Cincinnati, especially busy on game days. It's an easygoing spot with a long bar, typical pub food, and shuffleboard, plus a small patio. The smoked wings are highly recommended for their delicious and flavorful taste. The bartenders provide excellent and friendly service, making everyone feel at home in this locals' watering hole. Visitors can enjoy local craft beers and regional bourbons while playing shuffleboard or indulging in the free popcorn.
We did not order any food, but it all looked amazing coming out of the kitchen. My wife had the popcorn and she said it was delicious. We love the atmosphere. Everyone really seemed to be having a great time. Also seemed like a mix of regulars and newbies like us. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

I have read on Chowdown that the wings here were great. So we made it a point to go after a show. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. We were able to score a table outside. I ordered from the bar and he brought our wings out to us. OMG, they were fantastic! They had the perfect smoke and a tasty rub that has just the right amount of heat. The BBQ sauce and ranch were good as well. Will recommend to everyone. We will be back again to try the quesadilla!

Stopped Saturday afternoon place was packed, always a good thing you know the food/drinks are going to be good. Well, both were amazing including bar tenders & staff! It was barely standing room only, me being me I saw 4 guys sitting at a table with couple xtra seats asked if they minded if my friend & I sat down, they didn’t & asked if we had been here before told them no, they suggested wings saying they were really good, we ordered 12 to share they were best wings I’ve ever eaten crispy yet fall of bone tender & moist!! Oh and the popcorn again best ever! Thanks for the experience & the bartender was so nice when I asked if the walk to Taft Theatre was doable & if she would consider it safe to walk she said yes to both that it was well lit on the way to Taft and of course just to be aware of our surroundings which is always sound advice doesn’t matter where you are. Highly recommend Knockback Nats 💯

Update: Quesadillas are delicious. For wings, get the sauce on the side. Popcorn is free. They have more N-A beers now. ----- Initial Review ----- Voted best wings in Cincinnati for good reason. Perfectly smoked for hours and great sauces. Rest of menu is sold. Drinks are pretty cheap. There are several TVs, a TouchTunes and a golf game. The bar is very long plus they have tables for groups and a smaller separate room.

Gomez Salsa OTR is a popular Mexican eatery known for its window-serve style and delicious offerings. It's a go-to spot for late-night eats, offering tacos, open-style burritos, and chips with housemade salsa until 2:30 a.m. The must-try item is 'The Turtle,' a unique burrito stuffed with rice, beans, and your choice of ingredients, sealed with an extra cheesy tostada crunch.
There were a lot of good flavors here. It wasn't too expensive and had an okay atmosphere. It was like a mix of sit down and eat in. It wasn't that cozy but it was welcoming. Good food overall

Vibrant flavor at a reasonable price with a disappointing hygiene. Came in on the reds opening day after this place was recommended by a close friend. Apparently their very own “Turtles” were the item in the menu to order so we ordered two. One in baja style and one in Diablo style which is one of their items with the most heat 🔥 When i walked in, i was a bit confused due to the fact that no one is at the front door to greet or direct you and for a first timer like me— it was baffling. The concept is like a fast food restaurant in which you order off a standardized menu on a board behind the counter and can make requests to add or remove a specific element off each style. The food did take a while to come out. I assume it was because of the time closer to closing time. I was told by one of my friends that this place started as a take out restaurant only in which people would order through the small window on the side of the building which is still there! It started as a late night meal take out and eventually they rented the rest of the space and were finally able to open a dine in area. The ambiance was the unpleasant part of the experience and was definitely concerning. All the tables were dirty and had crumbs from the previous customers, there was no safe place. On a very slow night like this one, i would expect a more hygienic environment or at least an attempt to accommodate new customers to sit and enjoy their meal on a clean space. Also, one of the cooks came out of the kitchen with no gloves nor hair knit to take the trash. Huge red flag for me. The sanitation was the biggest downfall; nonetheless, the food was delightful, vibrant, and unique to their style. The turtles were crunchy packed with flavor and the tortilla which felt more like a pita or gyro was a great portion size considering it was 12$—-not a bad deal. The real kick was brought by the diablo style turtle which had me breathing heavily and making several trips to the self serve water station. It was vibrant, flavor packed, fresh and bold which is very characteristic of a mexican style restaurant. So spicy that it made me reconsider using their restroom. I know it must be a real concern for the maintenance guy there! I recommend getting their spicy crema sauce which settles down the heat and also adds a little kick to your meal. 2 in one which is like magic. All in all, i would come back to order take out but due to their unsanitary conditions, i wouldn’t eat at the restaurant again. Would recommend with caution. 4/5 ⭐️

Gomez turtles are a must if you’re in Cincinnati. Like Taco Bell on flavor steroids. So delicious and a Cincinnati staple.

Gomez catered my sister's wedding this past weekend and did an amazing job! They released tables in the order my brother-in-law and my sister wanted, kept everything stocked and tidy, and served plates to the newlyweds perfectly. I am a professional wedding DJ and coordinator, and they made it so easy for me to enjoy the wedding and not stress at all!

The tacos I had were called “turtles” super amazing super good the price I’d say a little crazy for 10 dollars for one taco but so worth it nice size tacos like two in one then it comes with those explosive sauce on the side! Yes def will recommend to friends and family for sure! 🥰❤️❤️❤️

Our office ordered $100.00 worth of food.. I ordered the chicken bowl, but it didn't come with sour cream or my guac, and it was very dry as a chip..... This is the second time I have ordered this. Never again

We came here after I found it online and read the reviews. Most all of them suggested the Turtle. It did not disappoint! We had the turtle with chicken, Gomez style. It was delicious! It has this crispy cheese crusted exterior and really good Baja sauce. I definitely recommend coming here and getting the turtle and any style you get I’m sure will be good. The guy that waited on us Saturday afternoon was super friendly too! We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Cincinnati.

Some of the best tacos I have had along with very reasonable pricing. Stopped here on a whim with a group of 8 and we were able to grab a table and have a delicious dinner for under $20! Plus they have some good beers on tap too! Unfortunately the tacos were so good I forgot to take pictures of the food, but still I highly recommend checking this place out!

Anchor Grill is a classic American diner in Covington that has been serving up familiar comfort food for over 75 years. Despite its unassuming appearance, this beloved institution is known for its late-night service and iconic steamboat mural outside. The restaurant's retro decor, including wood paneling and black leather booths, adds to its nostalgic charm. Notably, Anchor Grill has been recognized by Food & Wine for serving some of the best diner-style comfort food in the country.
My husband and I love quirky restaurants - the quirkier the better - and Anchor Grill fits the bill. This restaurant, I suspect, looks like it did 50 years ago. Service was excellent and our server started the band box for us. I had the veggie omelette, rye toast, and hash browns and my hubby had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and rye toast. Everything was delicious, but those hash browns were the star of the meal. Next time I am in the Cincinnati area, I will be having breakfast at Anchor Grill and I will be having a double order of the hash browns.

Friendly and quick service. Food was hot and delicious. Generous portions. Tastes like momma made it. My boyfriend and I got biscuits and gravy, he got a western omelet with ham, I got scrambled eggs with hash browns and french toast.

Harty and Cozy Diner with Friendly Service and a Vintage Vibe Great service both in a group of coworkers, and while on a date. Omelettes were simple, fresh, and filling. Wait staff is attentive and always makes sure your coffee cup is full. Anchor Grill has been open since 1946, and is a Covington staple.

This place is the Angkor Wat of breakfast places! The food was amazing, the price is cheap, the staff is very friendly and the portion sizes are very generous. I was here on vacation and I went here 2 times despite only being in the area for 2 days. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't go to this place if your in the area.

Great mom & pop joint. Food is hot and very tasty. This place has been open for 77 years and the decor is prob the same as it was back in the day. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit. The Waitresses were extremely kind and the coffee was bottomless. I had the two eggs over medium with sausage and toast and hash browns with onions and you just can’t go wrong with it. We would return.

The Baker's Table is a charming dining destination known for its stylish ambiance and locally sourced cuisine, including vegan options. Chef David Willocks' dedication to seasonality and northern Kentucky ingredients has earned the restaurant accolades as one of the best new restaurants in the nation. The establishment offers ever-changing tasting menus in a cozy dining room in Newport, while also operating a bakery across the street.
We did the duck and Burgundy wine dinner and it was delicious! The food, ambiance, and service was great! We also did the wine pairing and found each of the four wines to be unique and paired well with each food item. I find myself thinking about some of the food still - amazing!

My wife and I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and were absolutely thrilled to discover The Baker's Table in Newport, Kentucky! From the moment we walked in, Rachel, Jake, and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It's fantastic to find such a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in our new area. We opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu with the Non-Alcoholic Drink pairing, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish was a unique work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. One of the mocktails, featuring Carrot and Chrysanthemum, was so refreshing and delicious we joked about wanting a whole pitcher to enjoy on our deck at home! While every course was outstanding, the lamb ragu was a definite highlight. The flavors and textures were phenomenal, and the inclusion of what they called "lamb bacon" was truly one of the most delicious things I've tasted in a long time! What we also appreciated was that despite the high quality of the dining experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Even the background music had songs that made us smile and added an easy-going vibe. The intimate setting made us feel connected rather than lost in a large, bustling space. The staff was attentive and genuinely responsive to our needs. It's clear that The Baker's Table is a business that prioritizes sustainable practices and truly cares about the quality of their ingredients and the people they serve. We loved hearing the stories behind the beverages and the inspiration for each dish, and the fact that the menu changes monthly based on seasonal availability is something we greatly appreciate. Our first experience at The Baker's Table was truly memorable, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect rehearsal dinner than the one we had at The Baker's Table! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. The attention to detail in every corner of the restaurant added to the intimate, warm atmosphere that made the evening so special. The food was truly exceptional! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtful combinations. Our guests were raving about every course, and I honestly don’t think there was a bite left on anyone’s plate! What made the night even more memorable was the impeccable service. The team at The Baker's Table went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. From assisting with our unique requests to making sure everyone was taken care of without skipping a beat, we were truly impressed. They made us feel like family, ensuring that our rehearsal dinner was seamless and stress-free. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the evening because we knew we were in the best hands possible. We couldn’t be more grateful to The Baker's Table for making our rehearsal dinner such a magical, unforgettable night.

We went for a wine night while on vacation and OMG was so legit. Had the non-alcoholic pairings and was so pleased that the staff put so much thought into a non-alcoholic option (so rare! Thank you!) Didn't pat for it, so I can not speak on the price, but everything off the menu was good. Drinks were good, too. Easy and quick service. The salmon and beet seems like a weird combination but was surprisingly good. The gnocchi has the best texture. Some of the best gnocchi I've had**. Very light. Steak was good, although I have had better. [Medium Rare] The pumpkin cheesecake was also delicious. Good balance of flavor and not being heavy consideriflng what it is. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special event! The food was absolutely delicious- we tried every dish on the menu and there wasn’t a single one that wasn’t incredible! Our server Jasmine, bartender Jake, and sommelier Ryan, as well as the rest of the staff, worked seamlessly together to provide a really great experience. The owner Dave came out to introduce himself- it’s always a good sign when the owner gets his hands dirty (metaphorically) and works with the staff to do what needs to be done. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and try a whole new round of dishes next season!

Rich's Proper Food and Drink is a trendy restaurant and bar located in Covington, offering a fusion of American pub and Southern Cajun cuisine. The establishment boasts one of the best whiskey and bourbon selections in the area. Housed in a space that was once a jewelry store, Rich's features an industrial-style setting with a prominent neon sign that can be seen from blocks away.
Fun fun fun food and nice place. I enjoyed the fish n chips $19. The only thing I didn’t like was that the batter was a bit too mushy on the inside so I peeled it off. The codfish was gigantic and the fish was fresh. The fries (sidewinders) were the most unique cut I ever saw. And they were crispy on the outside and the potato was smooth almost like mashed potatoes on the inside. The coleslaw was very healthy and included cabbage, carrots, fresh scallion. Great ambience. The waitress was lovely. I liked having a full carafe of water at my table so I didn't have to ask for more water. Wednesdays they have 50% off oysters! And they have that boiled Parmesan garlic and cheese oyster ... yummy.

This was our first time trying Rich's proper food and drinks. We went there for a friend's bday and they were pretty good with reservations. We started with a few drinks off their menu and everyone really loved their drinks. We then ordered the appetizers which were ahhmaazing. The corn fritters were the highlight for me. The black eyed peas hummus and the veggie wings were also really good. For our main course I tried the Chicken Philly which was equally good as the rest of the food. The Tofu Banh Mi is a great and filling option for the vegetarian. The marinated tofu was really flavorful. Our friends ordered the Hot Honey Chicken, shrimp and grits and the smoked cheddar bacon burger. And everyone was really happy with their food. The entrees do come with plenty of great side options which makes up for their higher prices. Our server also took great care of us. I would have given them a 4.5 if I could. We will definitely come back !!

I had a lovely lunch here. Service was good. Menu is limited but we’ll curated. They have fresh oysters. And specials on oysters on Wednesdays, starting at 4pm. The Hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious. The only downside to a the parking situation (admittedly, there was a lot of road construction ongoing, early May 2024). A bonus: good amount of outdoor seating (picnic tables and regular tables, with umbrellas for the sun).

My husband and I went there for lunch. They weren’t very busy very nice atmosphere. The bartender was also our waitress and I ordered the hot honey fried chicken sandwich with the fries and a side of collard greens and let me tell you the sandwich is amazing. Really really good. I don’t have a picture, but my husband got the fish and chips and I want to say it’s the best fish I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be going back.

Small but impressive brunch menu. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The honey bee salad was delicious and the beets were some of the best we've tasted. The spicy bloody mary was really good. Intimate atmosphere. Cute area of Covington.

Went for an early dinner so got some happy hour deals. The food was great, cocktails perfect, service awesome! I can't have dairy and they know exactly what is in every item, and can make many items vegan. They told me every cocktail is dairy free because the bartenders have a dairy allergy too! Yay! Will be back! Really enjoyed the patio too!

Great little place with lots of options for beverages and eats. I was lucky to come in on American Bourbon night so that got me 25% off. My waiter was very knowledgeable and helped me with selecting a bourbon. His recommendation was spot on. As for dinner I had shrimp and grits and really enjoyed it as well.

Like the draft beer selection. Small bar atmosphere. Our third time visiting was a charm. Much better service experience. Pictured is the shrimp and grits and the braised pork lettuce wraps. Covington Yard is a unique outdoor venue located in downtown Covington, offering a backyard party experience with artificial turf, outdoor TVs, and yard games. The venue features multiple bars, fast-casual eateries, and picnic-style tables set up in shipping containers. It's an all-ages space serving ice-cold beer, cocktails, wine, and their custom brew, Yard Lager.
Multiple bar set ups and food vendor options that appear to rotate in and out. Drinks in the indoor bar are just a little bit more than some competitors in the area but not significantly so. Lots of tvs and seating, with different arrangements to accommodate all sorts of group sizes and desired seating arrangements. While I'm not a nicotine user I did think the dip pouch cups were clever and believe more outdoor venues should install them.

This is one of the coolest, unique, and fun bars that ive ever been too. The outdoor seating, the grass turf, the shipping containers, just everything seemed to flow well and keeps your kids occupied. For such an open floor plan, nothing seems to crowed and the food and beer was great! Plus side is, you also get to see everyone's dogs lol.

We recently hosted a live show for Fitz & Whit, Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick’s podcast, at Covington Yard in Cincinnati ahead of the Bengals Thursday Night Football game — and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Tori and her team were absolutely incredible. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled flawlessly. The event could not have been easier to execute thanks to Tori’s professionalism, communication, and leadership. She truly made it seamless while delivering everything at such a high level. The venue itself was the perfect space for hosting an event like ours — spacious, well-organized, and full of character. Covington Yard naturally creates such a great vibe and fun ambiance that made the night feel energetic, welcoming, and memorable for everyone who attended. The staff at Covington Yard were equally outstanding — helpful, kind, professional, and proactive every step of the way. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the night feel effortless, and Andrew and Ryan were overjoyed with how perfectly everything came together. I would recommend Covington Yard and working with Tori to anyone and everyone. It’s such a special venue with an incredible team behind it, and I truly hope the Bengals and others continue to collaborate with them in the future.

Revival Vintage Bottle Shop is a treasure trove for spirit enthusiasts, curated by the passionate collector Brad Bonds. This unique destination offers an extraordinary experience where visitors can sample vintage liquors that transport you back in time. Imagine sipping on a 1954 Old Grand Dad bourbon or a 1940s Galliano herbal liqueur, all while surrounded by charmingly dusty bottles reminiscent of yesteryears.
Revival Vintage Bottle Shop is a treasure trove of history and flavor! Sampling a 1967 I.W. Harper Bourbon Whiskey was an unforgettable experience—the rich, complex flavors transported me back in time. After falling in love with its elegance and depth, I couldn’t leave without buying a bottle for myself. Brad’s passion and knowledge made the visit even more special. This place is a must-visit for any bourbon enthusiast!

I LOVE this place! Stopped in to grab a drink at the bar and experienced the Canadian Lights cocktail. It was seriously one THE BEST old-fashioneds I have had. Prepared with Canadian Whiskey and pure maple syrup and a surprise ingredient, it made my taste buds do a boogie. Cocktail in hand, I walked upstairs to check out their spirit shop. It was such a cool space with vintage bottles, dating as far back as a century. If bottles could talk, I wonder what story they would tell. So interesting. I ended my trip at the tasting station. You can actually do 1/4 oz pours at affordable prices. This allows you to explore several varieties of spirits, without hurting your pocketbook. The owner Bob, was so cool and knowledgable. He encouraged me to try scotch for the first time. Now I am on a quest to learn more. Shout out to Bob and staff. My trip was fun and memorable. I plan to return soon and often. Cheers!

Revival was an amazing experience. Being a big bourbon enthusiast I was like a kid in a candy store. You can tell all of the bartenders were passionate about vintage spirits and the history that comes with the process. Prices on all of the pours were priced fairly for the ages that were available. The atmosphere was great and it was like walking into the past and tasting the spirits of yesteryear. I will definitely stop in again the next time I’m in town. If you’re a fan of bourbon, Revival should be at the top of your list.

10/10 recommend this place! It’s one of the most unique concepts we’ve experienced - the New vs. Old options available make for a fun tasting and it’s a very interesting way to try new flavor profiles and ages of bourbon! They have bar and table seating on the first floor and the vintage bottle shop upstairs! It’s located right on the corner as well but it’s easy to walk by and not notice just how cool this place is. If you’re visiting the area or staying at Hotel Covington, this is a short walk from everything in the area and well worth the visit. Special shoutout to Perry and Brad for the service and telling us more about their startup and ongoing operations! Highly recommend and we’ll be back for another visit soon!

What an amazing shop! The upstairs tasting area is a unique experience, where else can you sample a whiskey from 1946 or a tequila from 1960? Revival is truly one of a kind. The owner and staff are incredibly knowledgeable about fine spirits and share the stories behind every vintage bottle. If you love whiskey or bourbon, this is an absolute must-visit.

I had a blast here. Love the very knowledgeable bartender and other customers were friendly. You can have food orders delivered here, too. I stopped in because it was on the way to dinner and it was new* to me. I had a twist on the classic Manhattan; with dark chocolate bitters and smoked cherry accents. The presentation and aroma made it even better. *Opened Fall 2024 next to Hotel Covington

Montgomery Inn The Boathouse is a renowned barbecue chain in Cincinnati, offering classic meat dishes smothered in sauce, as well as grills, salads, and seafood. One of its standout offerings is the famous Saratoga chips – thick kettle chips meant to be dipped in BBQ sauce. Locals often praise the Boathouse for serving the best Saratoga chips in town.
I had a great dining experience with my family at this location. The food was great and the service was even better (shout out to our server, Ron). Make sure to put in a reservation, because it is a BUSY location. The view is amazing with the water sitting right there. You will enjoy the ambiance, for sure!

For world famous, award winning ribs, I found them to be rather uninspired. They are simply oven roasted. Though cooked competently and with a lovely glazed sauce, it's nothing you can't do at home for 1/4 the price. I was really hoping for something wood smoked and kinda shocked it wasn't. 🤷‍♀️ The duck however was excellent and memorable. Perfectly cooked with a crisp skin. Delicate and savory. Coleslaw makes or breaks BBQ for me and their's was outstanding. The bartender made me an "old fashion" which was a rocks glass filled to the top with Buffalo Trace and a cherry in it. I was hammered. Lol 👍 The best part of my evening was our table location. Out on the patio overlooking the Ohio River. Couldn't be much better than that. And for dessert, an awesome fireworks display from the baseball stadium. I highly recommend the outside seating.

Montgomery Inn - The Boathouse is a great place to have a relaxing dinner. You can valet your car easily or park on the street. The restaurant is right on Riverside Drive and seating overlooks the river. BBQ and seafood here is very good and they offer generous portions. We were there a bit ago and had no trouble getting seating without a reservation. Although I would recommend it during summer and holiday seasons. My shrimp starter was uniquely flavorful as was my entree of broiled fish. The ribs and smoked chicken dinner were delicious. Served hot with fresh vegetables and thier own bbq sauce; tangy and excellent! This is a great place for special occasions. Business meetings and dates!

Montgomery Inn is a top-notch dining experience! We had a large group of 14 people, and the service was impeccable, thanks to our amazing waitress Ally. The food was truly exceptional - I had the 8oz filet, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The addition of their famous fried onions was a game-changer, adding a delightful crunch and flavor. The béarnaise sauce was also rich and tasty. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or night out with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Hofbräuhaus - Newport, located just across the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky, is the first authentic Hofbräuhaus to open outside of Germany. This massive beer hall offers a sprawling indoor/outdoor space where you can enjoy house-brewed German lagers following the Reinheitsgebot law of purity. The staff, dressed in traditional garb, impressively carry multiple steins at once while polka music fills the air.
First time diner and looking forward to my next visit! I was in Newport for an appointment and was looking for a quick lunch that wasn't fast food. I drove by and saw it and then wanted German food. The atmosphere was pretty cool with the music and decorum. The food was awesome as well. Seeing the huge mugs of beer made me want one but that would have to wait for another time. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly! For those that are military, they do have a discount with ID. I had the Munich Sampler and it was awesome! I couldn't eat it all. The sauerkraut was not overly sour and the potatoes were tasty also! I was torn between the bratwurst and the schnitzel, so the sampler gave me both!

We had a nice quick stop at Hofbrauhaus in Newport. We had just finished up at the aquarium, I remembered I had a free pretzel from attending the Reds game the day before so we stopped to redeem that and get off our feet. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio in the shade which was perfect for us and our baby. The pretzel was solid not blow you away but good. The beer cheese had a good consistency and flavor. We also got the Bavarian cream puff dessert which was very tasty. I’m not a huge Bavarian cream guy and I really enjoyed it along with my wife. Looks like a traditional beer house inside with locals storing steins and even had a band playing.

Hofbräuhaus in Newport, the tri-state area’s original microbrewery, offers a fantastic atmosphere. Inside, the beer hall is designed for shared experiences, encouraging conversation and a sense of community. Outside, the beer garden's picnic tables foster the same community feeling, just a bit quieter. Attentive staff greet customers warmly and maintain this hospitality throughout their visit. We enjoyed warm pretzels and an excellent lager before our delicious sandwiches arrived. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our trip concluded with a walk across the Purple People Bridge, spanning from Northern Kentucky's well-designed and interesting riverfront to Cincinnati's welcoming riverfront.

Stopped in for a meal during Oktoberfest. They initially said the wait would be over an hour, but it ended up being less than 20 minutes. The atmosphere was great, the band was fun and you could tell a lot of other patrons were having a good time too. People were up dancing, toasting, clapping and singing along. The food was pretty good, schnitzel could have been pounded out thinner, but that's just me being picky. The drinks weren't bad and were fairly priced.

You gotta give this place five for enthusiasm and…honesty. The beef sausages all have pork said my waitress. Ok then. I’m sure I’ll survive. The band- a hard working duet - have programmed everything from German to Neil Diamond to big band Glen Miller (including the trombone solo!) into the accordion, accompanied by a polite drummer. They played over the course of six hours on the day I came. Hysterical and fun and kinda amazing. They are singing Sweet Caroline some local version that hollers out So good So good So good… hokey sure but… l All that and spatzle too. The food was good, the waitress was nice. We ain’t got nothin like this in New Orleans.

4.5 stars. The German sausage platter of three different sausages was excellent as was the German potato salad and red cabbage. Service was first rate. Got a 1/2 liter of Dunkel for hh price of $4. A lot of entrees available. Chicken Pork etc. Apple strudel was great also.
I.E. X — Google review
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. 4.5 is too low. Their Jagerschnitzel was a tender pork cutlet, covered with delicious wine and mushroom sauce, and it came with German potato salad and fried cabbage. I had to try the potato pancake and their apfel strudel as well. This place was busy on a quiet Sunday night, even though a big street fair was going on at the same time in nearby Covington. The music and wall decorations made for a great German atmosphere, I didn’t need to go to the biergarden outside to have a great experience. Five stars.

Tom & Chee is a local chain that offers a variety of creative grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soups, and salads. They excel at the classic grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, offering a range of cheesy melts with different proteins, toppings, and cheeses. The restaurant gained fame after appearing on popular TV shows like Man vs. Food Nation, The Chew, Shark Tank, and Amazing Eats.
This is my go-to semi-healthy lunch option at Newport Levee. It’s a family-friendly spot with delicious food, conveniently located near the aquarium, mall shopping, and other entertainment in the Levee. The service is quick, so you don’t have to wait long for your food. I used to always order the half sandwich with either soup or salad, but this time, I went for the full sandwich since the half portion wasn’t quite enough for me. The portions are good, but I just can’t get enough! A great spot for a tasty and satisfying meal.

My visit to Tom and Chee was fantastic, and it was made even better by the incredible service from Joyce. She didn't just serve us; her warm and welcoming presence made us feel completely at home. Her friendly demeanor and genuine care truly set her apart. Joyce is a gem and a huge reason we'll be back!

Got a build your own melt with mozzarella, cheddar, onions, peppers and pickles. That was decent, the only reason for the extra star . The garlic cheese tots were nasty, that garlic sauce on it is so gross I can't even describe it. The Mac and cheese was terrible, so chalky and no flavor! The girl who checked us out was also rude. The lady in the kitchen was very sweet and talked to my son!

This place is so delicious! I was in Newport for a field trip with my kiddos, and we stopped here for lunch. The Mac & Cheese is so thick and creamy. I got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it was the perfect blend of warm and crunchy! Don’t even get me started on the chocolate chip cookies! A great meal and a great price!

Everything was delicious, down to the kids grilled cheese! The half salad and half sandwich was filling! I got the Caesar salad with a ham and pepper jack sandwich with peppers, onions and it was sooo good! Had pesto for the side but it didn’t need it! It was flavorful without it!

We had such a great experience here! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Joyce went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — she gave us great recommendations, checked in often, and made us feel right at home. The food was amazing. The chef even came out personally to greet us and offered a sample dish, which was a really nice surprise and showed how much pride they take in their work. Highly recommend this place

A very nice place to eat after visiting the aquarium. They have a lot of seating available, including a lot of larger tables that are perfect for families. They serve Pepsi products here (that's an immediate bonus for me). My fiance really loved his buffalo chicken melt. He said his Mac and cheese was decent but left something to be desired. I liked my bacon and cheese melt, but the cheese was a bit overpowering so it wasn't quite as bacon-y as I expected (don't get it twisted, though -- it was still delicious). The Mac and Chee donut was... Bizarre. It's not something that I would order again, but I'm glad I tried it and I would recommend others try it too. The prices weren't bad for what we got, and we received our order very quickly. They had Cartoon Network playing on the televisions and soft music playing, making a good atmosphere.
Julia D — Google review
I had been wanting to try tom and chee for a few weeks now. I came with my fiancé after I had a really rough day at work and wanted comfort food. We arrived at 6:45pm on a Wednesday. Very obviously not busy and the staff was cleaning up. Every chair was on the tables and it was clear they were trying to leave early. We asked if they were still open and they said yes, we informed them we had never been there and the staff said “oh great, I’ll be back in two minutes” and went into the back after continuing to clean up after we walked in. One staff member stood aside on their phone while we awkwardly stood there at the counter before going into the back. The whole experience felt very uncomfortable and very awkward. We decided to leave before she came back due to the feeling of being unwelcome. I’ve worked in food service, and I understand wanting to leave early when it’s been dead but customer service is still important. Don’t plan to come back but the food looked really good.

I was there before a Bengals game so the place was busy but the barman was attentive and the service was good. There was a decent craft beer selection as well.

Taste of Belgium - The Banks is a delightful café that brings a taste of Belgian cuisine to Cincinnati. This charming spot specializes in mouthwatering omelettes, delectable waffles, and scrumptious crepes, all inspired by traditional Belgian flavors. Founded by a Belgian expat longing for authentic waffles from home, the café offers unique treats like Liege waffles and locally-inspired goetta crepes.
I have seen their signage all around Cincinnati. We stopped in for breakfast. My wife and I ordered the breakfast place, which included a signature waffle. My daughter ordered the s’mores crepe. When I bit into my waffle, my mouth went on a journey! I have had many waffles but none like this. Highly recommend this place for delicious food and drinks.

Our server, Laura, was amazing. She even made a list of recommendations for other places we might want to visit! And the food? Outstanding. Every Single Thing. My waffle flight was the perfect choice.
Vinnie R — Google review
First time ever at Taste of Belgium. And I must say the food with some of the best tasting food we've ever had. We stopped in after the Reds game, it's missing a star mostly because it was very hot where we were sitting which affects the atmosphere and had we gotten a drink refill without having to go ask the manager for it that would have bolstered the other one.
Roger C — Google review
We arrived approximately 35 minutes before closing and, out of courtesy, called ahead to confirm that our late arrival would not be an issue. We were assured it would be fine. Upon arrival, we were greeted and served by Heaven, who took both our drink and food orders at the same time, which we didn’t mind. After placing our order, we noticed our appetizer was placed under the heat lamp just a few minutes later. Unfortunately, it remained there for nearly 10 minutes until the rest of our meal was ready, at which point all the food was brought out together. This diminished the freshness and presentation of the appetizer. Additionally, we had requested that the salads be served on the side. However, one salad was missing entirely, while the other was served directly on the plate. When I inquired about the timing of the appetizer, the server responded with a laugh, which came across as dismissive. Despite the service issues, the food itself was flavorful and consistent with what we’ve come to expect from this restaurant chain, which is the reason this is a 3-star review rather than a lower rating. We are longtime fans of the Over-the-Rhine location and occasionally make special trips from Louisville just to dine there. However, based on this particular experience, we would not return to this location.
Jeff L — Google review
I went with two other people out for dinner and we all shared our dishes. Everything was amazing! We were at a different location for breakfast and loved it so much that we had to come back. We got the poutine, Nashville chicken and waffles, and the Beltucky. All the food was delicious! I just absolutely love their waffles so much. It's unlike any waffle I've ever had! We brought a whole bunch home for family and friends and of course some for ourselves! The staff was great and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! This location is especially conveniently located near a lot of other great attractions.

Jean-François Fletched moved from Belgium to Cincinnati in 2000. He started selling his authentic Liège waffles at Findlay Market in 2007 and was an instant hit. In 2011, Jean-François opened his first Taste of Belgium. Frites and dips are fries served with four different dips. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly salted. My personal favorite of the dips was the curry ketchup and the malt vinegar mayo. I ordered the Classic Bennie, which is served on their waffle, rather than an English Muffin and has grilled ham and arugula. I have recently realized that I really enjoy arugula with breakfast. The bitterness of the arugula and the hollandaise that had a very pronounced lemon flavor, was so delicious. The waffle was very sweet. All together the flavors worked very well, however I would still rather the English Muffin because I want my eggs Benedict to be savory not sweet. Some other dishes that were ordered were savory crepes, granola parfait, Belgium Burger, a mimosa flight 🥰 Knights Reserve and some iced coffees. The building was beautiful and it’s in such a wonderful location. You are literally in between @Cincinnati Bengals and @Cincinnati Reds stadiums. A good food from Europe. First time trying Belgium food, we ordered “Bolo” “Steak and fries” “Chicken Burger” and “Salmon”everything was delicious! One remark to staff, educate more your waitress about menu, it’s hard to make a decision what to order if you not familiar with Belgium cuisine. PS. The problem is finding the parking in Cincinnati downtown specifically in Saturday night. I parked on the street and paid 5$ for two hours which is not bad.
Leonid B — Google review
I went to the one in Oakley and got the Black Bean burger with breakfast it was mushy and uncooked or edible. Nice atmosphere. I went to the one on the banks and waited one hour for my food only for me to go to the register and they said my ticket didn’t get sent back to the kitchen. Waited another 30 min for my salmon dinner for $23.00. My salmon was 3oz after I weighed it on a food scale at home. So $23 for 3oz salmon and vegetable mix.

The restaurant also serves Lang Thang Vietnamese Coffee hot or iced and sells coffee beans online.
Very good Pho!!! I always go back. Very modern interior decorations, nice servers, the drink selection is phenomenal. What more could you ask for? JUST GO GET PHO
Fdw412 — Google review
A modern and vibrant Vietnamese spot with retro décor and classic selections. The pho was decent if a bit on the safe side - I wished the brisket were rarer and the jalapeños spicier. Overall still a solid stop for Vietnamese comfort food in the city.

Horrible. I ordered from delivery platform. 12oz Chicken Congee, only half cup is congee, the other HALF CUP are cilantro, onion, scallions. I never eat a congee comes with that much cilantro onion scallion. Half Cup!! And it has a hair inside. Bread? They put mayo on it. I never saw any Banh Mi - Heo (Pork) put mayo on it before. Unbelievable...... Awful……I throw out most of the food.

I had the lemongrass beef banh mi, others at my table the chicken and tofu pho. The beef was flavorful and the pickled vegetables sour and crisp. The Vietnamese coffee was good, tart but with sweetness from the condensed milk. Vibe inside is great, service was fair but a little sparse. Beer menu was impressive with many local options.

There are only two Vietnamese restaurants I go for the Pho and sandwich, Pho Lang Thang is the one when I am in downtown area. Everytime I go I couldn't help to order so much cause everything is so good there and I just wanted to try everything on the menu. Beside the typical Pho Noodle soup, I always order the raw beef on the shrimp cracker, it's so tasty and Unique. If you guys in downtown area, you have to try it, it's a trendy place with traditional Vietnamese food.

Second time here and it's just...delicious! My first time in I had the Lychee Martini and Chao Nam, and it was fantastic. Today I ordered a different drink on the minty/basil side of life. It was good, like a mojito. I also had the Nam Luc Lac with fried egg and my gosh. The mushrooms were perfection, the egg was just right. Even the tomatoes and cucumber were just lovely and perfectly lightly salted. I eat a lot of mushrooms...I cook a lot of mushrooms. I'm honestly often disappointed when I order them out. These were amazing. The restaurant itself has a fun vibe, colorful and clean. Prices and portions are great.

Can get noisy at times and hard to hear. There pho is good but be sure to check your order before you go. I've asked for extra cilantro and basil a couple times before and got none. This time I still got very little basil and for extra cilantro they gave me a bunch of stems.

First of all, the beer is stellar. They have something available for every taste. Second, the atmosphere is just as good as the beer. The oldest Skyline location in Cincinnati offers a nostalgic experience, with memories of late-night college visits and long lines. Despite its unassuming appearance, the restaurant provides friendly service and maintains cleanliness.
Cincy staple!! Fresh food, quick service and amazing staff. Skyline chili is comfort food at it's best. The taste is great and they do have a few vegetarian options which I love. Chilly is amazing on the spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, etc) and strangely sweet. Piled on a bed of noodles with massive amounts of shredded cheese, it's no wonder people have hard opinions on Cincinnati Chili. It was my first time trying it and Loved it. This location looks like it still maintains the old school feel... 100% recommend!

I've been to many skyline chili locations. Skyline chili is delicious, the food at this location is no different. Wonderful meal. What seperates this location from any other skyline and any other restaurant is our waitress Megan. On Halloween night, we ate at this skyline and my girlfriend was trying to peel the ghost sticker off of our receipt because she liked it so much. Megan G, in the midst of tending to several tables in a very busy restaurant, noticed this, and on her way back through, handed my girlfriend a sheet of the stickers they use on the receipts. Incredible attention to detail and incredible kindness! Thank you Megan!!!!

Urgent Complaint Regarding Cashier Behavior and Overcharge at Skyline Location Dear Skyline Chili Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at one of your locations. I recently visited [insert the location or address of the Skyline if you have it] and had an extremely unpleasant experience with the cashier on duty. Not only was I overcharged for my meal, but the food was overcooked and inedible. When I returned to the store to address the issue, the cashier treated me with a nasty attitude and was disrespectful throughout the interaction. Instead of attempting to resolve the problem professionally, he became rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, when I asked how to contact the franchise owner or file a formal complaint, he stated that he “doesn’t have a franchise number” and showed no interest in helping me further. I actually have a video recording of this incident, which I am willing to provide upon request. As a loyal customer, I expected better from Skyline. I am requesting the following: A full refund for the overcharged and poor-quality food A formal apology for the disrespectful behavior Information on how to contact the owner or franchise representative for this location Confirmation that this complaint has been documented and investigated

Nicholas Lambrindes grew up in Kastoria, Greece watching his mother cook meals that brought the family together. In 1949, Nicholas filled his dreams by opening a restaurant in Cincinnati over looking the skyline. The restaurant still continues to use Nicholas’ recipes and to fulfill his American dream. The chili comes ‘three ways’ which means spaghetti noodles, chili and cheese. You can order it ‘four way’ or ‘five way’, which only means adding beans and/or onions. I went with five way. The chili is very unique and not at all what I am used too. It is very thin and sweeter, having some cinnamon notes to it. The spice blends makes it come across as a mix of Greek/Indian spaghetti. It was good and I would get it again. Just beware that the plateware that your food is presented on is not nearly big enough for the amount of food your given 🤣 For more reviews, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @gbdiningdykes

Amazing cafe, definitely something to experience. I got the breakfast burrito, white chocolate truffle latte, and pumpkin muffin. The first thing I noticed about the places was how spacious it was. It was nice, relaxing, uniquely decorated, and had a positive vibe to it. Secondly, the breakfast burrito was delicious! You could tell it was freshly made that day and not prepackaged. I ordered my typical mocha and I usually don’t get whipped cream, but she told me they make it in house and add some delicious vanilla, so I tried it and it’s worth the extra calories! I’d definitely recommend it. Also, it was such a hot day outside, I ordered it iced, but if you’re staying in their dining area, it’s quite air conditioned so you could even do a hot coffee on a hot day. 👍🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were out showing downtown townhouses and condos to a wonderful couple — and their energetic niece was tagging along. After hiking up and down stairs (real estate cardio! 🏃‍♀️🔑), she needed a little pick-me-up. So we popped into Coffee Emporium… just as they were about to close. 😬 In fact, we’re pretty sure the register had already been shut down — but the staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating. They still allowed us to purchase a few drinks, a sandwich, some cookies, and a yogurt (gotta keep the protein up! 💪🍦). Their kindness and flexibility meant so much to us and our clients. Super efficient service even on a busy Saturday morning. Many pastries, muffins, and other grab and go items are available. A good amount of tables inside for seating. My iced latte was good but not noteworthy. I'd go back for its convenient location and reliably decent goods.

They have a great collection of delicious pastries (I really liked the blueberry muffin.) My friends had the coffee and they enjoyed it. The staff was friendly.

Food was delicious, i loveeee the chewy crust. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and chill. Family friendly upstairs seating until 9pm.

Pizza was tasty like always. Breadstick could have been a little sifter but was good especially when paired with nacho cheese. Lots of seating options in the speakeasy with a cool bar! Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth a stop!
Paul J — Google review
Love the fact the pizza is available pretty late. We bought a couple of slices. They are pretty good sized! Not bad pizza. The atmosphere is nice too. The bar upstairs has a ton of whiskey or bourbon. If you like that stuff its definitely the place to get top shelf booze.
Emily — Google review
Really well prepared pizza. Vegetarian options. All the other pizzas looked good too. Large slices. We went a little after 900p and they still had a lot to pick from. Huge bread sticks. Nice spot with the bar upstairs. We got our pizza to go. You have the option to eat in as well.
Emily A — Google review
I was in CIN for a museum and my friend wanted pizza and I was so glad to have a Goodfellas close by. The owner was SO friendly and accommodating and my friend LOVED the Taste of Naples pizza. He was floored by the size of the pizza, but was delighted by the quality. It was a wonderful experience, very personal and everyone was just so friendly and you can’t get a better pizza anywhere. Period. Enjoy yourself at this location and KNOW that your business is appreciated!
Cher J — Google review
The joint is tiny and a little cramped, but don’t be deceived. The pizza slices are MASSIVE. The calzones are thick with ricotta/mozzarella cheese and any toppings you wish (meatball for me). Drooling just remembering that meal.
Stephanie S — Google review
Decent experience food was good. Bit overpriced but the pizza was huge! Me and my girlfriend sat upstairs and it was a nice atmosphere. I would go back.
Christopher B — Google review
The pizza here is absolutely top notch. Fresh, cooked to order and fast. The crust here is something else, chewy, crunchy and leopard spotted perfection. I love walking here to pickup cheese bread and they treat my dog so nicely. The bar is also fantastic but I order out mostly. Edit: the crust here is *consistently* the best crust ever. Chewy, perfect bite, perfect flavor. Like really, nowhere else comes close.

The restaurant has been listed on OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2021, based on over 10.5 million reviews from verified diners. Additionally, it was named 'best overall in Cincinnati/Dayton.'
Delicious - first time visit. Our server was Gina excellent server and pleasant, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our meals were superb. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. Outside seating as well as indoor. They offer a full bar. Pastas were so fresh. We will definitely be back. We parked across the street at the public parking area - easy access and $8 for the evening.

I have visited Pepp and Dolores a couple of times, and each experience has been exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and makes great recommendations if you are uncertain about what to try. The pasta is fresh, and the flavors really stand out. It is one of my favorite spots in downtown Cincinnati for authentic Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it.

It was a fantastic experience from service, food, atmosphere. Mark was an exceptional staff. He was very informative, engaging and helpful. I have recommended this place to my friends. The pasta limone, the cucumber and the artichoke were top notch!

Husband and I went for birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Our server, Mallory, was amazing and made the experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere in the downstairs section was great and the food was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend the ricotta all and meatballs!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Pepp & Dolores. We ate at the bar on a Saturday night. Aysha (spelling?) and Andy (working the bar) did an excellent job. They were hard working and pleasant. They elevated our experience. We were really pleased. Meatball appetizer: 5/5 - excellent, a must order Spicy Vodka Pasta: 3/5 - a little too al dente Crab & Corn Ravioli: 5/5 - excellent, a must order

We had a great experience here! The food was delicious. It was setup such that you order all of your courses at the beginning, and then the team staggers the arrival of the food at a pace such that you're not waiting long between courses, but also not rushed. It was hard to narrow down exactly what we wanted because the menu looked so good. The house made ricotta bread was some of the best bread I've ever had. They don't have a dessert menu, so go in knowing that. They leave you with like an Italian cookie when they bring the bill. It was good! Overall, would highly recommend! The service and waiting staff was friendly and professional too.
Cory F — Google review
We had a really nice late lunch here. We were running late but they still accomodated us. Our server was extremely kind and made lots of great food recommendations. We loved everything we ordered, especially the pesto and meatball pasta. The seafood on the ravioli was a little too pungent for me, not as light fresh tasting as I hoped. Wine list was pretty easy to navigate and I was pleasantly surprised by some awesome glass pour options that weren't just lame/cheap house wines. We sat upstairs in the veranda near a window, which we great on a sunny afternoon. (I have sat in the basement before but didn't love it.) Still surprised and disappointed by thunderdome restaurants not offering desserts, even at Pepp. But the limocello service almost made up for it.
Caitlin R — Google review
This place will always be a hit. Upstairs is a little more loud and casual with a beautiful patio while downstairs offers a moody date night scene. The spicy vodka will always be a hit and the house made ricotta is dreamy. You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful ice cream experience, look no further than Hello Honey. This charming shop specializes in crafting unique, housemade ice cream flavors that change regularly, ensuring there's always something new to try. From classic options like honey vanilla and brownie fudge to adventurous choices such as lemon poppy seed cardamom and charcoal black sesame, Hello Honey has something for every palate. But that's not all!
The banana honeycomb ice cream is so unique and delicious! You can tell it’s made with real caramelized bananas. We also got the cookies & biscoff flavor. The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this ice cream shop if you’re craving a sweet treat!
Tess — Google review
We found this place on the Happy Cow app as a backup to the first place we tried that was inconveniently out of their unit 2 vegan ice cream options. We were hopeful that this one would pan out. But, alas, it was a disappointment. Especially compared to the place we went to in Chicago on this trip. They only had 2 vegan flavor options, but only the Strawberry was also gluten free. The other vegan, non gluten free option, was cookies and cream. Since Strawberry was the only option, I got that with sprinkles, as it was the only vegan option that was also gluten free. It was okay, but it was sorbet and not ice cream, which is not what I wanted. One of my kids got the same thing and had the same mediocre response. My other kid got a dairy option, the Salted Carmel Cone. She was also hopeful, but said she was not happy with the flavor at all and ended up throwing more than half of it away. She said it tasted more like badly burnt vanilla and that was it. I really wish I could write a better review for this place, because any time I see vegan options offered I'm excited. This time it just didn't pan out in our favor though.
Shanah B — Google review
Wonderful flavor options! However, the ice cream is super high fat and will coat your mouth and lips with fat. Portion sizes are generous, but after a while its hard to enjoy due to the mouth feel The cakes have the same type of heavy cream filling that's high in fat
Madison H — Google review
This place has a pretty solid, unique ice cream menu.. defintely not flavors you see everywhere. They have a couple vegan flavors too, and a case with cakes. I went with the brown butter caramel ice cream on my one visit. The texture was nice and smooth, but the flavor was very mild. I didn't taste much brown butter, but the caramel swirls added some nice crunch to it. Overall, it was kind of plain. Maybe the ceiling for this place is higher, and I should have gone for something else, but this first visit was a little underwhelming.
Kessashun A — Google review
Let’s start off by saying how adorable the shop is and what a cool vibe! Secondly, the customer service was fantastic with the kids, telling me about each flavor and having their own suggestions… Lastly, and most important, the flavor was unreal! So many great optionsand all of this without preservatives or food die! I have found my new go to anytime I have a sweet tooth! I had raspberry and biscuits jam 😋😋😋😋
Suzanne N — Google review
Update: Still the best with even more ice cream flavors (almost 20), a handful of vegan options as well, plus a lot more cakes (over a dozen). ----- Initial Review ----- My favorite ice cream shop since they first opened in 2012. They also serve excellent cakes. Everything is made in-house. They all come in several delicious flavor combinations, many unique to their three Cincy area locations. The staff is really friendly including the owners who work there.

Unique ice cream flavors. A very clean and spacious establishment. There was a bit of a wait to get our point of white lotus macadamia ice cream. They also sell unique log cakes by the slice we bought the taro and coconut cream flavors. They do not have a restroom. Very polite and courteous staff. They let you try as many flavors as you like.i read other reviews about the banana honeycomb ice cream and it was delicious too. A tad too sweet for me

Cafe Mochiko is a cozy Japanese eatery that offers a unique twist on traditional pastries and savory dishes. While specializing in Japanese treats like chrysanthemum cake and black sugar monkey bread, the menu also features Filipino-inspired delights such as ube hayala croissants and sweet corn bibingka.
As a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, I was genuinely surprised by the creativity at this place! Every dish had a familiar foundation with a subtle, delightful twist that made it stand out. Everything I tried was spot-on. I’ve heard great things about their bakery too, but since we went in the evening, most of the baked goods were already sold out—definitely going back earlier next time!
Srinjana D — Google review
Where do I start! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My husband and I stop in almost weekly whether it be for pastries or dinner. The rotating ramens keep you coming back! If you wake up early on the weekend run and get a box of pastries before sellout. The hardest part is not ordering one of everything everytime you go. My husband who loves ramen orders the burger every-time we come in. He claims it’s the best in town! I always get the ramen, so we share plates. Staff is always a pleasure, the ambiance is exactly what you want out of a ramen shop, you will spend the rest of your life comparing other ramens to this ramen. I wish they offered carry out dinner as I am a take-away girly, but if we’re doing date night and I’m leaving the house for dinner this is where we’re going! Oh.. don’t forget the Shokupan!!
Mae K — Google review
Will have to come back another time when earlier in the day since it seems they run out of some of their quicker-selling items fast, but this spot is cute with very kind employees. The pastries we got to try were excellent! I especially loved the sweet corn pastry and tea cookie. If you come later there are not as many options, but I plan to come back and try the ramen for sure. Definitely check this little spot out. Great place to get some studying done too. Nice, clean, and calm space.
Kerry K — Google review
My first coming to this place. I ordered the junk ramen. The broth was so delicious. It was perfect for a cold fall evening. It was warm and had a wonderful umami flavor. The pork was so tender I could sit here all day talk about this delicious ramen. The service was awesome and the staff is very attentive. I see why people rave about this place. The food, staff and atmosphere was great. I will come back for the pastries.
Jane C — Google review
While the atmosphere, service, and location were fantastic, I was disappointed in the food. I would give the Cincinnati Style Ramen a 5/10 and say it is not worth the hype. I make various ramens from scratch at home and try as many new places as I can. Ramen and sushi are my favorite food. While I enjoy Cincinnati style chili, the ramen was lacking in flavor. The broth was a little on the bland side and lacked a good flavor “kick” that the ramen needed to stand out. The noodles were also not my favorite, as they felt “spongy” and the egg was overcooked. I would never order this again. The Hokkaido Smashburger was a 6.5/10. Same as with the ramen, it lacked the “kick” of flavor it needed to not just be “another burger.” And that is what it felt like, just another burger and not something to go out of my way to get. Overall, I feel both of these items have good potential, they just need some work in the flavor department.
Koty S — Google review
The food was excellent! The Wagu beef burger and fries was the bomb! The spicy Ramen was just right in terms of heat and the broth was favorable. Will definitely be back! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo until the end!
Jerolyn B — Google review
I got the Cinci style Ramen. It was good but overwhelming flavor. I plan to go back but get a more traditional dish. And I really wanna try their pastries, I hear it’s delicious. Otherwise it was a cool place and staff were friendly and attentive.
Christine F — Google review
Bakery items taste unique but are iced cold. Gives me the feeling of eating left over bread from the day before. Would rated much higher if it was fresh and hot. Ramen noodles have nice texture. Soup base is not bad as well but the small quantity of toppings makes the experience feel like it’s all about the noodles. Missing that wholesome feeling.

We LOVE this place. The bartender was just the best! What a talent! While we didn't order a coffee, we witnessed her artistry for another customer. Just amazing. We enjoyed a Snowfall Spritz and an old fashion: both delicious! The place is something to experience. Personal touches everywhere! This used to be a vibrant, queer friendly show bar that my fiancée and I absolutely loved. We regularly attended creative, inclusive shows organized by talented drag performers like Tara and Montana. These events showcased diverse local talent and offered a truly unique experience that felt celebratory and community centered. After moving out of the area, we recently returned with high hopes, but sadly the vibe has completely changed. The once innovative drag shows have been replaced with generic, uninspired burlesque performances that lean heavily into the male gaze. The lineup now seems to primarily feature slim, white, cis performers, with little to no representation of BIPOC, plus size, or visibly LGBTQ+ individuals. The diversity and heart that once made this place special is sorely lacking. The bar service was equally underwhelming. Our bartender, Morgan, served weak, overly iced drinks and came across as disinterested and even mildly annoyed to be engaging with us. Her demeanor felt condescending, marked by blank stares and sizing up glances that made us feel unwelcome. It's especially disappointing to receive that kind of energy from someone working in what was once a more inclusive space. We offered to Venmo her $30 in exchange for $20 in singles to tip the cast - something we’ve done at many venues without issue. She declined (which is her prerogative), but followed it up with a passive-aggressive lecture about “remembering to bring cash to tip.” While the point isn’t wrong, the tone was unnecessarily smug, especially considering we were trying to support the performers and staff more generously. And simultaneously tip for for her troubles of exchanging her bar tips. This used to be a place where the community came together to celebrate queer artistry. Now, it feels more like a watered down, sanitized version of what it once was... with poor service and diminished inclusivity. We left disappointed, and honestly, a bit disheartened. We hope the owners consider returning to their roots and bringing back the kind of diverse, affirming, and creative programming that made this venue such a special space for the NKY community.
Guy F — Google review
Toured at second sight today as part of a bourbon road trip (9 distilleries in 4 days). Without giving much away it was an entertaining journey that started with 2 friends and an idea that has blossomed into a rags to hopefully one day riches story. Everything we tried there; from the samples on tour to the craft cocktails at their bar was amazing. Go to see their vision on a craft distillery, it was our best decision today and will be yours too.

Coppins Restaurant + Bar serves seasonal plates in a chic space that pays tribute to the area's history. The hotel effortlessly combines vintage touches with modern accents, offering guests a unique experience that celebrates the city's heritage.
This is the most exquisite hotel that I have ever been too. Every single staff person that i walked by or talked to... was so polite and friendly. The room was EXTREMELY clean. It was so clean that I tried to find something wrong with the room but I was unsuccessful and finding anything wrong. The blackout curtains were very impressive not an ounce of outside light came in. The valet for car parking was very professional and prompt. Truthfully this 5 star rating is not adequate to show how perfect this hotel is. The location is perfectly situated in a nice busy downtown area with lots of things going on and to do. I am giving this hotel 10 stars 🌟. I will most definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing stay.

We used the hotel Covington for our wedding weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner in the Eva G Farris Ballroom and we had a room block for our guests to stay at hotel Covington the entire weekend!! We cannot thank hotel Covington enough! The staff during our rehearsal dinner were so attentive and the food and drinks were amazing!! Jennifer was the lead banquet manager for the night of our dinner and she was awesome! We also worked with Tory while planning our event. She was so helpful and made the entire planning process go smoothly! The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was so kind and helpful in any ways we needed! All of our out of town guests had nothing but great things to say about the hotel! We stayed over in the north section of the hotel and used two of the suits as our getting ready rooms. The hotel north section is a beautiful add on. We definitely recommend using Hotel Covington for your next event!

My husband and I had an incredible experience here. The staff, the ambiance, the exquisite rooms and comfort, and the way the staff accommodated our requests was second to none. We needed a microwave and the valet gentleman brought one all the way up to our room. They saw to all our needs and the breakfast was also amazing. The space is visually stunning. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Covington this week. We stayed in the Luxury Skyline Suite. The suite was very clean, spacious and quiet. The layout of the room and the bed were very comfortable. The large terrace was very nice. We had a small city view. Our room was located in the North building. If you wanted service for example, coffee, breakfast, gym, front desk, you would have to walk over to the other building of the hotel. Several times the North desk was not open. The exterior doors would be open to the hotel at all times, which made security feel minimal. The hotel is missing a few luxury experiences. There's no-one to help with luggage or monitoring the front doors. Overall a very nice experience, would be helpful to have a map of the hotel especially if in the North building to know where places are and how to get there.

Hotel Covington perfectly blends elegance and history with a modern touch, creating an aesthetic that is truly unmatched. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed—charming, pretty, and incredibly inviting. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the service feel genuinely warm and personal. Our room was comfortable and cozy, with excellent amenities and delightful extra touches that made the stay feel special. Coppins has excellent food and drinks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all while being surrounded by such a beautiful vibe. Whether you’re drawn to its historic charm or its contemporary sophistication, Hotel Covington offers an experience that’s both beautiful and memorable.

While my partner and I do love the balcony suite & have been here twice now, the mattress is horrible! Literally cannot sleep on it. No support and we both rolled right into the middle. With such an incredible firepit & balcony, it's a shame the mattress is so bad. Please put firmer/newer mattresses. Room is also quite small but otherwise, recommend.

The hotel is very nice. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, they helped us locate places to visit and eat at (they have them written out on little cards if you ask for them). The room was nice, but there was a bad window view. The restaurant located in the lobby is also a strong recommendation, and it helps that this hotel has that.

This was our third time staying at Hotel Covington and it just keeps getting better. The rooms are beautifully designed, super comfortable, and feel upscale without being over the top. Staff is friendly and on point, and the location is perfect—close to great food, bars, and just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. We’ve stayed at a lot of boutique hotels and this is easily one of our favorites, especially for the price. Great value, great vibe; We would highly recommend!

Graeter's Ice Cream is a beloved ice cream parlor chain in the Cincinnati area, known for its small-batch scoops and signature sundaes. The flavors are constantly changing, but there are classic favorites that remain consistent. The spacious location offers ample seating and also features a selection of candies and baked goods. Visitors praise the quick service and delicious ice cream, with highlights including the caramel macchiato flavor and double chocolate brownie sundae.
On vacay and trying some ice cream. Found this place and WOW! I love this. It's great, Buckeye Blitz and Boldly Bearcat...I like chocolate. Good stuff. Lots of other items for sale and it was very busy. Seating inside and outside. They whole family can enjoy treats including your pup as they have sweets for them too. And for the nostalgic kid in you, they offer "Helmet Sundaes"

Graeter’s has always been my favorite ice cream place. I’ve been to the Cincinnati location often, today I decided to visit the buttermilk pike Ky and the vibe was so off. We came in and everyone went to the back and once we did get to ordered the ice cream was correct but our other part of the order was wrong because they were trying to get ride of us. We were the only black people in the store. Made us feel very unwelcome. We didn’t even bother to try and correct our order due to how we were feeling from everyone. Keep your peace and don’t visit this location.

WOW! This is hands down, the best icecream ive ever had! Was there a wait to get it, absolutely! But it went fast and id do it 100 times over again. They're service was very fast and the icecream was the best ive had.

Deliciousness Galore! Homemade ice cream, cookies, chocolate or cakes. The flavors may vary by season. My adult recommendations are Bourbon Pecan, Black Raspberry or the Peach. It can be very hectic and busy depending on the time of day. Just stand back and take in the menu for a moment before you get in the line. The line moves very quickly and you may feel rushed if you're undecided. One dip cone or the pick your own Sundae is my favorites. They also have milkshakes banana split. Cute choice of flavors with seasonal additions.

Great atmosphere. Good ice cream. Seasonal flavors were great. Allow sampling so you can make your choice. The also allow any ice cream flavor substitutions in the sundaes and shakes. We had the 1870 Tower (choc cake w. black cherry ice cream), Turtle Sundae (subd mocha ice cream with caramel and pecans), Mocha Joe Coffee Killer (espresso flavored milkshake), and 2 scoops of seasonal strawberry chocolate chip. Will stop again if passing through.

Graeter’s ice cream is a Cincinnati area institution! It’s amazing! The flavors rotate often enough that it’s never boring, but there are old standbys that keep me coming back. With multiple locations across Greater Cincinnati, including brick-and-mortar restaurants and hubs inside Kroger stores, Eli's BBQ offers an inviting atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating options.
Loved this place. Their rib tips were amazing. The ribs were phenomenal. With excellent smokey flavors. Dry rub seasons was good, really didn't even need the BBQ sauce that comes with, which is also good. From staff lady was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of other places in town as I'm from west michigan.

Pulled pork sandwich was excellent with great smoke flavor and plentiful. The jalapeño corn bread lacked jalapeño flavor but was great tasting and big portion. The loaded hot dog was well seasoned and flavorful. No seating inside the location as it is carry out only.
Raul R — Google review
It was not bad, just not what I'm looking for in barbecue. The smoked turkey sandwich was tasty and a generous portion. The ribs I was 50-50 on. I don't think the frying is necessary and doesn't add any texture or flavor while also drying them out a little. The mac & cheese and mashed potato sides were not good but not awful. Overall, I would not return here again by myself but if I was with friends and they were dead set on coming here I would give it another try.

We stopped here during our Findlay market outing. We heard so much about this place. We ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans. After checking twice on our order during the 20 minutes of wait time I again checked on our order and found it waiting in a hot box. Although the portions were large and looked appetizing the sandwiches were disappointing. The pork was dry and tasteless. I do not particularly enjoy BBQ sauce but found the sandwich inedible without it. The baked beans were a little too spicy for our liking. Because of the limited menu and our experience we will not return.
Debra L — Google review
I loved that Findlay Market was a working market but for a place that sells food, there wasn't a lot of selection to eat, nor seating. After going up and down the market and outside too, we settled on Eli's BBQ. It was a good meal but it was difficult to find seating outside. I am glad there was a choice as to the number of ribs you can get, because two was enough for me. The dry rub was sweet already so I didn't use much of the sauce. It was also tender.
Kerrie C — Google review
I always made sure to judge a BBQ joint based on the ribs, burger or pulled pork sandwich. I got 4 bones and mac and cheese with 'make it dirty' for sides. They also gave coleslaw and sweet dip. It was so good, I didn't care that I had it on a bench by the street, it was a closed street by the findlay market. Really good place if you want to get lunch around findlay market.
Venkatesh K — Google review
When I want Barbecue, this is the place I go. Ribs are delicious. Baked beans are too. The mac n cheese not so good. Customer service is great. It's convenient right on the market. I highly recommend Eli's BBQ. I wish they would add another side dish; a salad, corn on the cob, or french fries .
Shelia — Google review
We ordered wings, mac and cheese, jalapeño grits, and rib tips. The best thing was the sauce that came on the side. Neat was very dry, overcooked or from last week.

This establishment offers exceptional food and service, with friendly staff who provide excellent service. The prices are reasonable, particularly for their generously portioned pizza slices and impressively long breadsticks. The ambiance is consistently enjoyable, with skilled bartenders like Chris and Chase who can expertly craft a mezcal Old Fashioned. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a tiring day, as they provide a relaxing atmosphere accompanied by great music.
Order the buffalo chicken bread. This is the best thing I have ever had, and it tops it off by eating at the fountain right outside the restaurant. Praise Reese and Austin for this amazing dish! They were so nice. Would come again.

Ordered two slices for dine in and a half pepperoni and cheese to go. Poor execution all around. Slices probably reheated for 30 sec and came out room temp. We sat there for 10 min after take out pizza was done and had to go to counter to ask if it was ready. How did they not tell us our pizza was ready is so odd. When it came out - whopping 5 slices of pepperoni. Potential but execution and service sucked. Ps: Pizza was more like a 14” than 16” as can be seen by pic.

My husband and I visited this pizza place for dinner and had a great experience. We ordered a vegetarian pizza which had NY-style crispy crust and apt amount of cheese and turned out delicious. The outdoor seating area had a cozy ambience, making it a nice spot to hang out. The staff were friendly, and it was a pleasant surprise when they brought the pizza to our table despite it being self-service usually and even gave a complimentary cheesecake for my birthday - a lovely gesture!

We live up in Mason, so rarely if ever have a chance or need to go to Covington, but we stopped in here after a rare visit down there from Mason, OH, and halfway through the meal we were already trying to come up with more excuses to come to Covington more often. Then we agreed that Goodfellas pizza WAS the excuse. Absolutely delicious, exactly what I picture in my mind when I think of a great east coast-style pie, and it delivered on all counts. No notes. Can't wait to come back.

I have been all over the world and have tried the consensus "best" pizza in every city I've ever visited. Hundreds of slices around the world, from all over NY, all over Chicago, all over Europe and Asia. I've sacrificed my body, mind, and spirit, fluctuating dangerously in weight, body composition, and self-esteem for years to bring you the truth: Goodfellas in Covington, Kentucky makes nothing less than the BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. I don't care what, if anything, Dave Portnoy has to say on the subject. He isn't even qualified to hand me napkins as I continue my years-long crusade of truth and assess the world's great pizzas and pizzerias.

Loved it here! Came for my 21st birthday, got the lunch special. Reece, Sha, and Xavier were the best!! Gave me a free dessert for my birthday as well. Only $10 for a lunch special that included a slice of pizza, side, and a drink! Overall I love this place and the employees were the best!!

Skyline Chili is a popular diner-style chain known for its unique Greek chili. Customers often praise the friendly staff and clean atmosphere at various locations. The food, including signature dishes like chili cheese fries and cheese coney's, is served hot and delicious. Many visitors appreciate the distinct cinnamon flavor in the chili. Additionally, first-time patrons are often pleasantly surprised by complimentary treats as a gesture of hospitality. Overall, Skyline Chili offers a pleasant dining experience with tasty food and excellent service.
This particular restaurant location was so good. When we visited Cincinnati last year we tried Skyline Chili and it was okay. We did not see the big deal. This year, my grandchildren came with me and they wanted to try the chili everyone raves about. So we chose a new location and it was super. The food was so different from the first time. It was really good. The service is great and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting.

Being from Georgia I wanted to try something different from what’s back home. This was a pretty simple meal, but not like anything I had ever tried. I had a small 5 Way and it was plenty for me. I enjoyed it and would try it again. Service was good and our meal was surprisingly cheap.

It’s been many years since I’ve been in Covington, so when back in the area I stopped in here to try some Skyline Chili. Service was friendly. The place is definitely a dive. Food was decent. Chili tasted good, but didn’t have the flavors I seem to recall from 15 years ago. Overall, not bad.
F'burg F — Google review
Skyline Chili was at the top of my list for things to try when we were in the area. Very glad we did. First of all our server was great he was super attentive and even brought out some extra crackers for our baby. I ordered a regular size 5 way and one cheese coney. My wife got the skyline dip. It was very good in my opinion. The noodles in the chili was interesting and changed the flavor from what I’m used to. I really liked their hot sauce and added a good amount to my food as well. Definitely gonna order some for the house. The coney was overflowing with cheese as it seems everything does there but it kept a nice balance of flavors and textures. My wife liked her dip as well. I will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

The traditional 4 way was delicious and reasonably priced. Further, the staff here was incredibly friendly, fast, and efficient. The restaurant interior was also very clean. I would recommend if you’re in the mood for some good food in a hurry with a friendly smile.

I grew up in Cincinnati, so Skyline is a must-stop whenever I come in for a visit. This was my first time at the Convington Skyline. It's a very retro location, which was pretty cool. However, the quality of my cheese coneys was just a bit off the mark. Even a not so great Skyline experience is still worth it, and the staff was very friendly.

Well, 4.2 overall rating should be upgraded to 5.0, from the time I walked in until we left the place was packed, and they all worked great together to keep up with everyone friendly staff, great service great food 👍 just across the board great place, my daughter had the kids pizza 🍕, I ordered the special 1 topper 14" and they say 14" I say it was bigger great taste, my wife ordered the sausage link hoagie and man that hit the spot awesome hoagie not many places still serve the link sausage hoagie so I'll be back from more of something on the menu. Great place. Keep up what you're doing because when a place is packed like that, you're doing something right. 5💥💥💥💥💥 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time visit for me, my parents ate here often as children and wanted me to experience it with them. We had a variety of foods - meatball hoagie, mushroom Philly hoagie, steak hoagies, French fries, and mozzarella sticks. Everyone loved their food, compliments all around. They have bathrooms, one for men and one for women, no stalls, just singular toilet in each bathroom. You walk in and order at the counter, they let you fill your cup up and call your order number when your food is ready so you can walk up and grab it for yourself. Booths, tables with chairs, and a bar with stools are available for seating. The place has an old-time feel without looking rundown. It held a lot of nostalgic memories for my parents. We don't travel this way often, but will definitely return if we're in the area again!

I had to apologize for the whole office for the horrible food and experience from you. A placed to decent size order. I did it online so they had plenty of time. You get there at 12:30. It said it's supposed to be ready at 12:25. It was ready. That's not the problem. Every sandwich was wrong. The small one had mayonnaise and it was supposed to be on the big one pizza sauce and mushroom sauce was supposed to be on two of them. I noticed I messed up on one and got mushroom sauce add mushroom sauce. That's fine. That was my mess up but it was burnt that doesn't change it. Doesn't matter how much sauce you put on when it's burnt. When someone called to complain about the cold food and the messed up sandwiches, the lady called her a liar and then wanted to argue with her. I get it. You got all them homers out there. Bumming, I work at a doctor's office. These are all other co-workers who all have jobs and we eat lunch everyday. I get it. I ask for a little extras on certain things but I even double-checked and read the ticket. You made the small big and the big small all cold. Heck, I still have funnel cake fries because they were so rubber and you can't eat them.

If you’re not a local know that you’ll have to order when you walk in then come up to get your food when called. Unless you sit at the bar then you’ll be served. It took too long to get our food, pizza was okay at best. I was finished with my pizza when my friend’s appetizer came out. We ordered in one go. Directions were unclear so feel free to take my advice. A lot of people around us got burgers 🍔
Inna B — Google review
The pizza was very good, no question about that. If you sit in the bar you get a waitress, a menu, and full table service. We didn’t sit in the bar this night because the air conditioner in the bar wasn’t working. We sat in the dining area. If you don’t sit in the bar you order at the register at the front door. You also get your cup and pay at the door. I left a 15% tip for the waitress. I didn’t realize there was no waitress, no server, no food runner. I guess I tipped the cook. When your food is ready someone just yells out your ticket number and you go get it. Everything is completely self service. I guess I just expect more when I go to a restaurant.
Ken — Google review
Would love to speak to the owner or anyone is management about the guy behind the counter! I won't be back and I'll make sure every last person I know hears about how bad the service is there now. Too bad because the food is usually good. Received a message saying my order was ready 15 minutes before it was given to me. Was then hung up on after I called to asked the guys name. Again great service! 👎 As you can I see I used to eat there regularly and planned on doing so again. But I'll find somewhere else to spend my money.
Robert S — Google review
My significant other has been talking about Riverfront since I met him and was so excited for me to eat there. Upon arrival the staff already seemed tense. The kitchen it open to the dining area so we can hear everything going on while cooks prepared food. Immediately I hear one of the cook raising her voice and using foul language because she was upset that the business has been slow all day and now that they close in an hour they get busy. There were several young kids in dining area who could hear her complaints. While waiting my son had to use the restroom to no surprise was disgusting, because obviously their staff do not respect their business. Then to top of off two of the cooks through huge fits like toddlers when my daughter asked for BBQ boneless wings and they came out with no sauce at all. According to the cashier we should of ordered them tossed but as new customers we of course did not know this. It was an awful experience honestly. People just are classy or have good work ethics any longer.

Waffle House is a popular American diner chain known for its all-day breakfast and signature waffles. The restaurant is often described as efficient and well-managed, with quick service and helpful staff. While some visitors have noted the occasional issue with food quality, many appreciate the overall experience of dining at Waffle House, citing good food at affordable prices.
One of the busiest but most efficient Waffle House restaurants I’ve ever been in. These folks run a tight ship. Very small wait for a table but Hollie came over, took our order very efficiently and was very helpful when I forgot my Chili for my scattered and well done hash browns. Food almost immediately began coming out and they worked their feet off insuring those waiting were seated in an acceptable and organized manner. Made me a happy man. I was severely craving Waffle House and was worried about the wait but honestly within minutes we were seated.

Great waffle house experience and came with some first timers! Stopped by on a busy Saturday morning post Jazz Fest and didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Staff were so friendly and patient and our food was delicious. Hot and fresh, perfectly seasoned, and everything came out just as ordered. No Waffle House where we all live and this was the best treat before heading home!! We even bought a mug, only $5, as a souvenir and reminder of our great time.

Absolutely perfect Waffle House experience. Great service- staff was warm, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed chatting about football and different life philosophies. The cook came and greeted us. Congratulating us on our anniversary. Food- everything was great. Eggs cooked to order and the bacon nice and crispy. Atmosphere- like being at a friends house. A little bit nicer than the reputation Waffle House usually has. Overall an incredible welcome back to the Waffle House franchise!!

This place is absolutely horrible. Only had take out orders or online ordering available. My hubby and I ordered food and drinks. The coffee was absolutely horrible it tasted like it sat there all day, the waffle that I ordered was not done, the bacon had an awful taste as well like it had been sitting in a pile of grease. My hubby's burger that he ordered the bun was soggy the whole sandwich looked like someone sat on it. Never again will I go to this waffle House again. Not only that, my hubby and I have both been dealing with diarrhea from the horrible food we consumed. If y'all want good food, don't go to this waffle house. Go to the one in Florence way better service and fresher food and dine in as well.

I went in there yesterday, this lady server came over and never greeted me just ask for what I wanted to drink I told her coffee. She comes back to get my order and I start telling her my order, I like my eggs over easy so I say I want my eggs over easy and she says "we only have over medium" might I ad she's talking to someone that has about a 20 year background in cooking food, serving food and I'm currently a tipped employee( we tip good) i says we'll that's the way i always order them, she didn't say anything do I proceeded with the rest of my order and I ask her to bring the grits out before the rest( it never came) I didn't say anything the whole visit but that was the worst show of customer service I believe I've ever seen. The lady never greeted me it was, we don't serve over easy eggs here. I've ordered my eggs like this for many many years and have never had trouble much less the way she carried herself. I believe customer service isn't her bag. I don't even want to say what ivreally think but I will just leave this right here( I'm a Caucasian male in his 50's and she s and African American lady in her early 20's. She judged me as soon as I walked in the door like her time wasn't worth mine. Well let's see, I think I do alright for myself and was decked out in all addidas gear so I wasn't dressed poorly. This lady has no business in customer service period. I'm the type of person that would feel guilty not leaving a tip and I almost didn't tip her because of how she served me but I split my feelings with her tip and gave her 2 dollars. I know my one tip isn't going to affect your day younglady but you turn tables, those tables pay your salary. Get it together younglady and if you dont care for Caucasian people your in the wrong business.

Very hostile atmosphere!! Nobody smiles and they picked at each other. Nothing I want to see at a restaurant. The service was snapping and rude!! I won't go there again!! PS: If the management reads this you need to talk to your employers or restaff!! We eat out a lot I've never seen such ignorance in staff every single one of them. And they don't need to be picking on other employers while people are trying to eat. I like Waffle House but I'd never come back to yours!!!!

Slow service. Placed a pick up order online. Walked in & stood by the register. They all looked at me and said nothing. 5 minutes later I said I have a pick up and 5 minutes after that someone walked over and handed me the bag that was already sitting there ready! After I go to the car I checked my bag and saw I was missing eggs. When I went in I immediately told them, they apologized and then after watching them make like 3 orders of eggs that was not mine I had to remind them & they finally gave me my eggs after 10 minutes of waiting. Basically I waited 25 minutes for a pick up order I placed online 20 minutes before I got there. I will not be returning to this location. Bogus customer service.

Tried to give this location another chance today.. Absolutely horrible service again, we left before they even took our food order after sitting there for over 20mins listening to this older lady ramble about work. We were greated entering the building by being yelled at for us trying to sit at a table that she didnt want us to sit at. Told us to sit at a table not in her section saying your server will be here soon, who apparently isn't even on site yet or clocked in? She then continues to yell at another server to serve us while she takes a couples order who just walked in. Who ever is management here needs to get there store in check bad. This above statement from today's encounter, isn't even considering the time I was robbed $20 from the drive thru server at 2am by a clearly high woman who shouldn't even be working. Will never be going back to this location and telling my local industry groups to not support this establishment ever again.

We both liked what we got. Cheese curds were as good as any we have had in Wisconsin.

Our server Jess was great if that was really her name 😉 LOL, friendly funny with a smile, she gave us the daily specials rundown, got our drink order so we could look over the menu. After bringing our drinks we were ready to order to which one of our party asked if meat comes with the hamburger which she took that comment and ran with it and he wouldn't live that down the reat of the meal along with the red mustard ROFL! She made our night out a dinner with a show. Our food came out fresh and hot, I had planned to eat half then and finish the other half later but is was so good I ate it all and was too full for dessert but got the doughnut pudding to go to have later, it smells delicious. Great experience & great food.

We eat out at least once per week and Bard's is Our new favorite restaurant. We've eaten there about 6 times, recently. It has the look of a dive restaurant, very casual, we love that. What we really love is the food. People rave about burgers from other restaurants, so I try them and I'm usually not at all impressed, Bard's is different though. Every burger we've tried has been outstanding, never had better and they have a lot from which to choose. Last time, I got the Mushlove and it was great. We also got side salads for apps and were blown away by how good they were. The salads were fresh made to order. They had rye croutons on them, I'm guessing they were from the bakery next door, oh so good. Their specials are great too. I tried the smoked wings and they were great, gumbo was good too. Chili is better than Skyline. I could go on, but you get the picture. Parking is across the street in a public lot where we've always found a space.

I lied giving the atmosphere 5 stars, but it’s a fast food place. I’m giving them all five starts cause they were awesome. Fast getting me my food, and most importantly they were so friendly. White Castle gave us a great little experience, first off to the woman working Sunday morning June 8th you’re amazing and made us feel so welcomed and just was extremely refreshing compared to most service you get these days. We just popped in for my wife to grab something as she was feeling peckish. She got a breakfast sandwich and an original slider with cheese. We aren’t from an area with White Castles so they are a fun unique option to us. She said both were great, breakfast tastes fresh and good egg on it. The minced onions on the original slider was also a hit. If you’re in the area and want some solid fast food with fantastic service check this location out.

The restaurant offers wholesome Cincinnati chili, a local tradition featuring meat paste-like chili served over spaghetti and topped with cheddar cheese, known as a 3-way. Customers can also enjoy coney dogs with onions and mustard. Despite the older appearance of some locations, the food is consistently great and service is fast.
Very friendly staff, quick service. Food was solid. I sat down, ate, and was out the door in less than half an hour.

Their 🍔 Cheeseburgers are REALLY GREAT > I'm picky about burgers! Unfortunately my Cheese Coney wasn't hot as the cheese on top didn't melt > happened twice lately. Still tasted good after I zapped it a bit once home.
Karen J — Google review
Working from out of state. Server was nice and polite. The food on the other hand, is another story. These are not coney island and the hotdogs are miniature. Ended up have to eat 5 just not leave hungry. Visit a Leo's Coney island and you will see the difference. Better yet, visit Layfeyett or American coney island in Detroit.

I was visiting from out of state and stopped by the Gold Star on Fourth in Covington for the first time—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a regular. Katelyn, my server, was incredibly friendly, warm, and professional. She made me feel instantly welcome, and provided amazing service with a smile. The food? Absolutely fantastic—thanks to Randy in the kitchen. You can tell he puts real heart into what he does. Everything was hot, fresh, and made just right. But what stood out even more was Randy’s presence—he checked in with guests, and made sure everyone felt taken care of. He appears to truly enjoy his work and that makes the atmosphere so warm! It’s rare to see that kind of genuine hospitality. As someone just passing through, I didn’t expect to feel so at home—but Katelyn and Randy made sure I did.
Bill F — Google review
Typically dirty inside the restaurant, always behind on cleaning up the dining room & trash bins. They put very little chili on the "Ways" or the Coneys, especially in the Take Out orders. The paper cups used for milkshakes get soft and collapse easily, leading to spills and messes, and they fill the top with whipped cream ( failed to ask if I wanted whipped cream) so much that it starts seeping out the top or sides of lid that weren't firmly attached. Not good in your car. Too bad, I always liked Gold Star but this location is the worst. The staff are nice, but lacking in good sense.
QuelleKelKelly — Google review
They gave me very little chilly on my colonies and on my three ways they gave me hardly any two and for my bill being in sky high I’m not too thrilled with this i would like a refund but they won’t answer there phone very bad service I would like my refund because this was the worse service i ever had
Andrew L — Google review
Our waiter was excellent. I loved my chicken and bacon salad. My partner enjoyed his classic Cincinnati-style chili. This was a high point of our visit to the city.
Patti O — Google review
Heather was AMAZING. By far the most pleasant experience I've had at a fast food drive thru. They were slammed for a Monday night and Heather was professional and pleasant the entire time.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has been serving up delicious burgers and fries for decades. One of its standout offerings, the Filet-O-Fish, holds a special place in fast food history. Introduced in 1962 by franchisee Lou Groen in Cincinnati, Ohio, this iconic fish sandwich was created to cater to the local Catholic community during Lent when meat consumption was restricted on Fridays.
I literally never rate anything on Google, but feel it’s my duty to do so after the service I received just now. Was it slow? Yes. But they were busy. Things happen. But both windows I went to was so kind and apologetic, very understanding and supportive of the wait. Going late in the night like I did, I knew there would be a wait, just didn’t expect the great service I got too. Keep it up, team, you’re doing the best you can. Edit: my cheeseburger was missing a burger.. lol but still 10/10 for effort.

I came from Chicago all the way to Cincinnati and I had a pleasant experience with the following two staff. Juju and Randy. These two are not just Polite they are professional kind, and loving. Made my food taste amazing. Thank you for being such an attentive and and professional staff. Thanks a lot all the way from Chicago. Cincinnati definitely has the best McDonald’s employees. Much love from Chicago and thank you for being so respectful all throughout our drive-through experience.

Went at 1230am. It was bad. Both employees we had contact with were either stoned or rude; the rude one was the manager. Food was wrong and waiting almost 20 minutes from time we ordered to window was crazy. Even tried handing us the wrong bag. Manager got pissy when we asked for more ketchup than 4 packets. Bad experience won't go back. 😕 The one in Avondale OH is incredible nice, and always gets food right and hot.. maybe they could teach Covington a thing or two.
Andrea G — Google review
I can't believe how slow they are to work in this restaurant, it took 30 minutes for them to be able to move forward and take my order, after that I realized that the person who is serving at the horn and who charges you has a poor way of serving. Also, I saw her nails all dirty, long and filthy, it is supposed to be a place where they should measure and have strict cleaning standards with their workers. Also, one of the women who was serving had drugged eyes as if she had smoked marijuana, it is really annoying to see these types of people like this and still serving in a bad way, this restaurant has totally declined a lot.
Miguel T — Google review
I would love to rate this location higher, but man, is the service slow. I waited 20 minutes in the drive through after ordering. Read: 20 minutes for this location to serve four vehicles. The staff that I have interacted with have been very friendly, but there’s something up with the night shift at this kitchen. Come during the day or don’t come at all.
Anthony M — Google review
Hours of operations say that the lobby is open until 11 PM. I arrived at 10:15 and the doors were locked. A nice customer let me in and I was told the lobby is closed, I explained that it says 11 PM and rather than trying to help me and just take my order, she simply told me nowhere closed
Jeff — Google review
Took forever to get the food (carryout) and then it was wrong. They always get something wrong. They were not busy. We only went in because.. bathroom. Maybe we just missed a rush and they hadn't had time to pickup yet? Who knows. The women's bathroom was messy and there were six people inside, already sitting and eating. Two cars in drive thru. It shouldn't have taken so long.

Got the most simple DoorDash order from here and we were missing literally HALF our food. May whoever put this order together always have both sides of your pillow warm always bc this sucks. No salsa for my burritos either. Like ur job isn’t hard so you have to either be extremely stupid or extremely careless

Frisch's Big Boy is a beloved chain restaurant that serves up classic American fare, including their famous burgers and an array of other comfort food staples. Recently, they've expanded their menu with some intriguing new items while maintaining the favorites that patrons know and love. The service at this location in Ft. Wright, KY, has been noted for its exceptional quality—servers like Christina S. go above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience without missing a beat.
Burgers are nice. I had 2 of them and enjoyed them quickly since I was hungry. Parking at this location is ample and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. So if you or your loved one is in a wheelchair, you can enjoy this establishment. For reference, the burgers I had were Super Big Boy and quarter pound cheeseburger.
Luvto D — Google review
Glad we stopped in for dinner. Clean restaurant, food and service was great. Everything was priced reasonably. There was a steady flow of people coming and going which is always a good sign. The atmosphere was just like going to Frisch's as a kid, which is great! The only thing missing was the lollipop after our meal 🙂.
Adam C — Google review
My granddaughter and I ate at the Ft. Wright, Ky. Restaurant yesterday. Our server was Christina S. Chris was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. We never had to ask for anything as she got everything perfect. I hope she is greatly appreciated for the work she does. Great one to train others all over the areas in nearby Frisch s restaurants. Also the food was great cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was nice. Very clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back. Thank you.

Excellent server! And, this is the first time since the Lebanon, Ohio location closed that we have had freshly prepared, hot food! 🙌👏🥳 We ordered Big Boy platters (of course ☺️) annnnnnnd, the Hot Fudge Cake. Yummmy! We’re soooo grateful to find this Frisch’s and it reminds me of why I’ve loved this iconic restaurant for many decades.💙

Really good food. Since the closing of other stores I’m guessing they are grasping at straws and adding to their menu. They have all of the same stuff you would expect but with the addition to other pretty interesting menu items. The service was great and actually above what I would expect it to be! We went for a quick bite for nostalgic vibes on a Friday evening. They weren’t overly crowded which was awesome with a young one in tow. We even ordered dessert it was wonderful! We will be back.
Dawn R — Google review
Since all the closings I’m not close to an open location. I just happened to be in the Bellevue & swung through the drive thru. It was quick. The service was friendly & polite. I order a Swiss Miss & onion ring. I had the onion rings on my way way home. The were hot, fresh & crisp. Hmmm… so yummy. I had the burger when I reached home. It was a little sad looking but the looks were deceiving. It was so good with extra tartar sauce dripping. I will always be a Big Boy fan!!

One of the few Frisch’s Big Boy locations still around, this one’s tucked away off Kyles Lane in Ft. Wright, KY. Service was great, food hit the spot, but fair warning: bring a jacket because the dining room is set to “Arctic.” 🧊 The real star of the visit? The hot fudge cake. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture before diving in. No regrets....just chocolate happiness.

It was amazing to find a lone surviving Big Boy in the wild!! It was not unlike finding the majestic Bigfoot! The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful the food top notch ( and we'll missed) and the service was amazing. I'll absolutely be returning to this location!!!

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a popular chicken restaurant that features spicy fried chicken, handcrafted tenders, delicious seafood options, and red beans and rice. The menu also includes buttermilk biscuits and more.
My commute had taken me away from this location for a while but today when I drove past I decided I'd stop in for some spicy chicken. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with both at the speaker and then again at the window. The food was prepared quickly and everything was fresh and good quality. Today was the best experience I've ever had at a Popeyes. I look forward to stopping by more often. Keep up the good work Popeyes Covington!
Michael — Google review
Placed an online order to try the chicken wraps. Upon arrival I was told I had to come inside for online orders, no big deal. Inside I had to wait for 15 minutes when there was only one person ahead of me at the counter. The chicken is unbeatable. I couldn’t even tear it apart it was so dry and rubbery and was not fit to eat. This is some sketchy chicken. This is my first ever review as I never take the time but this is mind blowing and worth it if it can save someone else the time and money to avoid this place
Alex G — Google review
Tonight June 30th 2025. At around 9:30 p.m. I went to Popeyes in Covington Kentucky I live in Cincinnati but I was over in Kentucky and decided to grab something to eat I stopped at Popeyes I ordered four piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of coleslaw a three-piece meal with a side of coleslaw I paid $25 and what I got was chicken breasts that looked old and dried out even though I asked for no breasts I asked for two thighs a leg and a wing spicy I did not get spicy chicken the coleslaw was spoiled they poured my drinks into two separate small cups because they didn't have any regular size cups the pop turned out to be seltzer water it was supposed to be a Sprite both coleslaws were spoiled I will never go back to Popeyes again. I didn't realize what I had until after I got home and check the bag I didn't take it back because I live in Cincinnati and that's a pretty long drive.
Jacqulyn W — Google review
This is the 1st time in several years I had this and it was actually good. Other locations I would rate a 2 (only because it all makes a turd). But this store was busy AND getting orders out with hot fresh food!! I gave the girl who waired on me $5 and told her she definitely makes a great difference in the fast food space. She smiled big and was grateful. Only issue was the lobby appearance:>( Miller Rd AND Clio Rd. Flint needs this level of service ASAP.
Yolonda T — Google review
I swear this is the worst Popeyes I’ve ever stepped into. The whole place is chaos dirty tables, lazy workers, and a manager who acts like he’s doing you a favor by just standing there. I waited forever for my food, and when it finally came, it was a complete joke. The chicken looked like it was fried last week, dripping oil everywhere, fries soggy, and the biscuit could break a window. The staff talk to people like they don’t care, no respect, no professionalism it’s honestly embarrassing. Whoever owns this place clearly doesn’t give a damn about customers or quality. This Popeyes needs new management, new training, and maybe a reality check. Absolutely disgusting service. Never again.
Said E — Google review
I deeply recommend whoever is in charge of this location to pull up the cameras and figure out what the actual this place is doing right now. They’re declining my calls, telling everyone they have no food, being super rude, saying “we don’t have food” then slamming the window shut. I am appalled rn. How do they have absolutely nothing for me to buy. And how are they getting away with this. I wonder how much money this place is missing out on. 10/23/25 10:10pm
Rileigh R — Google review
I have been here two days in a row as a door Dasher. Keeping in mind that I am also a manager at a nearby restaurant, they don't put customers first. The bigger white guy who has been the manager lately is awful. No customer service skills. Very rude and off-putting. Told me they had the order then said they didn't. His little girlfriend was in the dining room and he served her then followed her outside when there was only one other worker left inside the store. She even harassed me about how there was only two workers there and how they could use the help, but has been getting free food for days when her manager "friend" is working..even the dog in her car was barking at him, but he still gave them free food and proceeded to leave the one crew member inside alone..I've pulled up to this place multiple times and he is sitting on his butt outside smoking cigarettes. He is lazy and has terrible customer service skills and has no idea how to run a restaurant, or how to keep employees. This dude needs fired.
Chelsea W — Google review
Since they didn’t want to Answer the phone or sent it straight to Voice Mail I order in the drive around 2:47-2:50pm 10/22/25 went inside because the card machine wasn’t working for the drive thru I got to work went to eat my 3piece combo Leg wing, breast with fries and drink the wing and leg is fine but the Breast was under cooked the biscuit looked like it was just sitting under the light dough like texture it’s unacceptable that we pay our money and they don’t take food safety seriously the place is dirty the workers look dirty until it’s changed I will never go back there.

Taco Bell is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. One enthusiastic customer shared their experience at the Covington location, praising the exceptional drive-thru service and the delightful burrito they enjoyed—claiming it was the best they've ever had! The staff's friendliness and efficiency truly stood out. While there were occasional inconsistencies in how well food was assembled during busy times, overall cleanliness was commendable.
Ive gone to this location multiple times past midnight and Ive always had a great experience. The employees are quick and friendly, the quality of the food has always been excellent, and even when I order on the app, the food has always been ready immediately. I have the utmost respect for those that work there and that’s why they will continue to get my business

Be careful on your order. They asks to submit your order in kiosk and finally I got just a plate of rice no proteins
MSundaram — Google review
Tyrant manager lady with red dyed hair has staff so scared they can't function. Rude as can be. Acts mad that you're there at all......sadly only fast food taco option in our area. Weird side note- after you pay she always has you drive back around the building for some reason. It makes absolutely no sense I've never seen that at a restaurant ever.

Food was cold. More cheese than meat, about ten little pieces of tomato lots of refried beans nachos were soft not crunchy. I had the Nachos Bell Grande ask for mild sauce they give me 🔥. Customer service at the drive thru is not the best.
Lois B — Google review
Worst Taco Bell ever. Ignored me for 15 minutes even though store was dead, and still had to wave them down and call out like I was a downed pilot in the Pacific Ocean.. They acted like I was an annoying insect they wanted to shoo away . Once they actually took my order food was as good as normal taco bell, but an absolutely insane experience.
Simon T — Google review
Every time I come here, it’s something! I came here this morning to get a large nacho fry with no seasoning. They claim to have made my fries fresh and “accidentally” put the seasoning on the fries. The fries weren’t even fresh and they had me pull around for old fries. I’m not sure what their problem is here, but I really wish they could get it together.
Courii G — Google review
The staff was absolutely psychotic. There was a black female employee yelling and screaming at a customer. It was scary because we came from out of town and had no idea what we were getting into coming to Covington. I literally watched an employee cuss out a customer who was holding a baby!! The manager looked too scared to do anything with her employee. They were yelling racist slurs across the counter. The most insane Taco Bell I have ever been to

If you don’t round up your total be prepared to be served cold food, happens every time I don’t. This tortilla did not touch a grill. I had to microwave it just to melt the cheese.
