Grill
Takeout Restaurant
Restaurant
Pacific Grill is a seafood restaurant located in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Established in 2014, it has become a popular dining spot in the area. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes and has garnered positive reviews from visitors. With its inviting ambiance and delicious menu offerings, Pacific Grill is a must-visit for those looking to enjoy fresh and flavorful seafood in the heart of Truth or Consequences.
The absolute best shrimp linguini with blue cheese pesto. It's a huge portion, rich and bursting with flavors. Served hot, not lukewarm like most in the area. Hubby loved his fish. Especially the generous portion of cole slaw. Favorite place to go when here for the winter. Cleanliness is above expectations. Comfortable dining experience. Great service.
Laura P — Google review
So good!! Pictured is the shrimp hoisin and it was soo good! Husband got spicy peanut chicken and really liked it. Very clean and friendly place. I believe it is take-out only but not sure how long that will continue. Definitely try it if you're in town. Also there are vegetarian and vegan options, as well as many seafood and chicken and steak.
Kayley M — Google review
It is NOT explicitly described as take-out only, but until further notice, it is call up- order- pick up at the window. Or wait in your vehicle in the parking lot until it's done. My shrimp scampi was mostly mushrooms and garlic. The salad was big and fresh. Hubby's steak was overdone but tender.
Linda C — Google review
Waitress was great! I thought the food was excellent my friend not so much. I had plenty to eat.i had the special which was Cajun cod. The batter was light and the canjun seasoning was not overpowering. Coleslaw was very good
Donita B — Google review
Good food. Reasonably fast service. Good portion size. Staff was wearing masks in 12/2022, if you’re into that.
Kelli P — Google review
I would've never thought that I would find good seafood in T or C. The server was knowledgeable and pleasant and the seafood was better than atnd seafood chain restaurant I've eaten at. I'll definitely be back to try other menu options.
Paul K — Google review
My family’s been going here for years. The customer service is top quality, and the food meets all expectations. Our family favorite is the Mojo. Some times we will all go and get it, and it also makes a wonderful leftover the next day! We love to branch out and try their other food. We’ve been there 10+ times and never have I had a bad experience. The food is ALWAYS cooked and comes out at very reasonable times. I only wish I could bring this food with me to college!
Miriam B — Google review
Great food!! They have a GF menu and it's safe to eat from. The Lemon pepper salmon with rice was delicious and filling. I would definitely eat here again. They are super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about their food.

Mexican restaurant
Steak house
La Cocina, located in Truth or Consequences, NM, is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving delicious food for almost 30 years. The restaurant offers pet-friendly outdoor seating on the patio and serves mouthwatering dishes like beef flautas with sour cream, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. Known for their red chile and steaks that rival those of Los Arcos, La Cocina also features original art by local painter Vivian Dougherty.
I'm on a motorcycle trip across the USA and stopped here for a meal. I ordered the ribeye and could not believe how tender, juicy and perfectly cooked it was. Now mind you, I've had 19 ribeye in this trip so far across Oklahoma and Texas and this was 100% the best. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the beer icy cold and best of all, they are right across the street from my hotel, the Holiday Inn Express.
Bob R — Google review
The service and atmosphere was great. However, the burrito meat was barley warm and reminded me of ground beef with McCormick seasoning you get from the store. It was one of the worst burritos I have ever had. Its a shame, the place and people are great. Avoid the beef there..its nasty. The chips were broken in tiny pieces and the ones that weren't were stale. The prices are insanely low. I'd repeat because the staff and atmosphere were cool.
Michael C — Google review
Excellent Mexican food with that New Mexico twist ! I ordered the ultimate enchilada, and it was a very generous serving size ! Great flavor , service , overall really enjoyed eating here as I was visiting from Lubbock TX.
Elias L — Google review
Great place for some New Mexico Mexican food! Go visit the Riverbend Hot Springs, and then come here to re-energize! Portions are great, and so is the food. For dessert, get the Sopapillows! Mmmm! Staff is very friendly!
Brett T — Google review
Food was great, server was awesome. Sat in patio, pet friendly. Been here before but was just mediocre, today all top notch.
Steve G — Google review
We had some of the best Mexican food here! Great outdoor patio so we could bring our pup. I especially enjoyed the 2 layer enchilada with the red sauce on the side. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Jane J — Google review
First thing is first THIS IS NOT MEXICAN!! Ignore reviews calling it that. Also ignore anyone calling it “tex-mex” it has zero mexican food in it. I asked my boyfriend to leave as soon as i saw salsa but he insisted we give them a chance and order. THEY HAVE NO CILANTRO IN THE RESTAURANT. I have spent so much time in mexico. Born and raised texan, this is just straight trash. The salsa was tomato soup no flavor obviously made with 3 ingredients, tomatoes, green onion, onion. Thats Not salsa, they had no cilantro in the restaurant so like big clue there. They asked if i wanted an egg on my enchiladas. No no i dont want to ruin food. Little did i know it was already ruined. I had the margaritas, they might be house made but for almost 10$ after tax they should have alcohol in them, and THEY DONT! The menu stated cheese enchilada I was not told when i was asked what chili i would like that they would put it on my food. Its disgusting, and has no flavor, ground beef tacos had no seasoning, and the meat was brown, if u make Mexican food u know meat comes out red when seasoned correctly, rice was supposed to be Mexican rice it was white, should be red. Also im allergic to onions, why is it that they put chili on my food after knowing this. Idk whos in the kitchen but they need some cooking lessons with some seasonings. The stuff that did have flavor was just awful tasting. Would rather dip my toothbrush in a dogs water bowl then eat here again. Worst food of my life. Also why the world is ur hot sauce tabasco. Its called Cholula atleast pretend ur trying.
Joy Z — Google review
The service was fast. The food was really good. The red Chile has great flavor! The cheesecake was very decadent!

Taco restaurant
Burrito restaurant
Caterer
Casa Taco is a dog-friendly restaurant located in Elephant Butte, NM. The establishment offers a covered outdoor patio where patrons can enjoy Mexican cuisine with their furry companions. The menu includes an array of dishes such as quesadillas and enchiladas. Customers have praised the cleanliness of the restaurant and its well-stocked restroom. Additionally, they appreciated the ample seating both indoors and on the patio. Visitors also highlighted the fresh salsa bar and complimented the friendly service provided by staff members.
Barbara was so friendly and kind that she made us feel welcomed once she knew we were 1st timers. Must try the shrimp tacos and brisket tacos. And a must for dessert are the apple taquitos with ice cream and the churros with ice cream. You must stop by when you're in town.
Maricela L — Google review
We are here from the Kansas City area, and have eaten here twice in the past week. Delicious, fresh food and friendly staff! The pork puffy tacos are huge and are amazing! We don’t like spicy things and staff was good to tell us what to expect. The apple flautas with ice cream are out of this world! Good pricing. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back!
Michele L — Google review
My partner and I went on an off-road trip to Elephant Butte and stumbled upon this amazing taco place—it felt like destiny! I highly recommend it. The restaurant is small, clean, and offers comfortable seating, especially at the bar overlooking the patio. The food was delicious, particularly the tacos de asada. However, I found the Acapulco taco to be a bit too fishy for my taste, so I couldn't finish it. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience!
Mariza V — Google review
Stopped here Casa Taco for lunch and I have no regrets. The staff is super friendly! Got a few gifts just for coming in and a beer on the house! I will definitely be coming back when we come out here!
Sherri G — Google review
Went there when I first moved here 3years ago and was disappointed. Then I had a friend visiting last week. She wanted to stop in. So glad we did! I had the beef taco salad and she had 3 different kinds of tacos. It was all fresh and delicious! I will be back more often! Atmosphere and Service is great too! Plus I saw a dog on the patio so im hoping that means dog patio friendly!
Robin D — Google review
Experience was good for food and service - we like the enclosed outdoor seating which is dog-friendly as well. The beans were very good, not salty and not oily. I can not rate for the meat items since I do not eat that. You might avoid the weekend if in a rush. It can get very busy with long waits so plan accordingly.
Azoraa T — Google review
We park our travel trailer up near here a few months out of the year. We've driven past it many times until we finally decided to stop by Very impressed and surprised by the fantastic flavor and plentiful taco variants. A major plus, very dog friendly
Steve R — Google review
I Was absolutely disgusted, and I will not be going back. Although the cashiers and servers did a great job, The food was not good. The taco shells where chewy, the beef was flavorless, and i had almost no lettuce cheese and tomato. The only thing edible was the rice the beans were flavorless. As a former employee who at one time loved to work there and loved the food. I haven't ate here for over a year, but I came back because I missed the food, and I was sorely disappointed and shocked. This place has unfortunately went down hill, and really needs to look into who their cooks are. I wish you luck your gonna need it.

Restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast experience in Truth or Consequences, look no further than Sunset Grill. Nestled conveniently at 406 Main Street, this charming eatery is known for its inviting atmosphere and mouthwatering menu options. Whether you’re craving classic American fare or something with a local twist, Sunset Grill has got you covered.
This place is a hidden gem! Stopped while passing through on a trip and realized we were looking for Mexican food on a Sunday (not advised). The Sunset Grill saved the day and the food was 🔥! The waitress was working the entire place by herself all day and crushed it-super friendly, took care of everything we needed and recommended places to visit in the are. 10/10 will stop here the next time we are in town. The restaurant was taking COVID seriously and everyone was distanced properly. What a treat!
Okie N — Google review
Sunset Grill offers a mix of hits and misses. While the interior is currently underwhelming and seems to be undergoing a makeover, the dining experience was elevated by the incredibly friendly service. Our waitress was attentive and welcoming, which made the evening much more enjoyable. The real highlight was the food. The Mexican dishes were outstanding, particularly the chili relleno, which was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The red sauce is simply amazing! In our party of 4, two of us ordered Mexican food, and two had grilled fish (something called “swai,” which none of us had ever heard of). The pieces were not uniform in size, and one was rather small. My recommendation would be to either get Mexican food, or a burger at this place. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of several key items, including chips (had to eat a guacamole salad with the Mexican food, which was no problem), ribeye steak (the waitress said that they are waiting for the price to come down before they can get it again 🤔), and beef fajitas…all of which was a bit disappointing. If they can sort out the supply issues and complete the interior updates, Sunset Grill has the potential to be a fantastic spot. For now, it’s worth visiting for the excellent food and warm service, but keep in mind that the menu options may be limited.
Charles P — Google review
DONT DO IT… Service was horrible, waitress seem to enjoy the regulars and we were peasants we ordered and no word from the waitress not even “would you like anything else, how is the food” , had one group of 4 walk out, the food was over cooked and the whole experience was dreadful, and the environment was dirty GORDAN would truly ream this place. Prob shut it down for how dirty it is! No telling what the kitchen looks like! We ate what we could! Left feeling sick and messed us up! Reading the reviews prior is a must!!! GO TO TONYS! 100% better…
Blair B — Google review
Ordered the combo plate Christmas but received green. One side of taco was soft, tamale was great, hot and spicy. Too many beans, rice was ok. Enchilada wasn’t my favorite and rellano was ok. Overall, it was ok. Someone who isn’t born and raised in New Mexico would probably think it was all good.
Mary G — Google review
Truely a local haunt, they’ll know you are not a local quick here. No beer or liquor, limited business hours and they have a relaxed atmosphere. Food menu was decent and the sopapillas were tasty. They also are happy to bring you a pitcher of tea!
Mark O — Google review
I'm writing this review in late May of 2025. I've been to the Sunset Grill twice in the last six months or so. I ate here with the same friend both times. The first visit was in a weekday morning. There were only a few other customers. The server was attentive and kept our water and coffee refilled. Our check was delivered promptly. The second time my friend and I ate here was the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. Ugh. We should have known to go somewhere else when we saw the parking lot was packed. We went in anyway. The small dining room was full, except for one booth still with dirty plates on it and a two top in the middle of the restaurant. There was no sign saying if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated and no staff in the dining room to give us direction. My friend and I made our way to the two top. We sat down and waited and waited and waited for someone to take our order. Finally the server came out with menus and took our drink orders. She dropped off our drinks, took our food orders, and we waited and waited and waited some more. Two things became clear. #1 The server was the only server for the entire restaurant. #2 No one was clearing dirty dishes. Throughout my whole meal, I could see dirty dishes at the tables in my line of vision and if I turned my head to my right. To my left, I saw a blank swinging door from behind which classic rock blared. I like classic rock, but not necessarily with breakfast. Finally our food was served, and it was good. It was really good. Both times I've eaten here recently, the food has been quite delicious. I got a breakfast burrito with egg and hashbrowns and green chile and cheese on top. That thing is huge! It was so good. The chile had a nice kick but wasn't overwhelming. I ate the whole thing! Unfortunately the server never came back to refill my water or my friend's coffee. She never gave us the check either. When we were ready to leave, we went and stood by the counter until she came from the back to take our payment. I DO suggest you eat here. The food is really good. But I wouldn't recommend this place on a weekend and especially not on a holiday weekend.
Cee G — Google review
Got to restaurant and was told to sit wherever. Tables were not clean. Waited at least a half hour to get order taken and then another half hour or more for food to arrive. Waitress didn’t even really talk to us like she had better things to do. Posting this as I am waiting for food.

A & B Drive In is a classic small-town diner in T or C that exudes old-school charm and offers great milkshakes, chimichangas, green chili cheeseburgers, and other menu items. The drive-through establishment also has outdoor seating. Despite the slow service due to the fresh made-to-order food, visitors highly recommend trying different menu items multiple times. The place is known for its authentic and lovingly prepared dishes.
Old school drive up or walk up window with out door seating. Big menu! Food is freshly made so have patience. We'll worth the wait. I went Deadpool and got the green chili chimichanga! Yummy!
Rick J — Google review
this is definitely worth going out of your way if you're passing through truth or consequences / Hot springs. I got myself a green chili cheeseburger and it is phenomenal. it's probably the best homestyle green chili cheeseburger I've had in a long time. it isn't quite as fast as the other fast food chains but it's definitely worth the time it takes to drive a few minutes out of your way to get there.
Stephen T — Google review
This place is great! We were from out of town staying at the spa next door and decided to try it for dinner. We really enjoyed the chile relleno that we went again for lunch the next day. Service was friendly and prompt. They also had a drive thru, which was nice since we went on the way out the next day. The green chile cheese fries were also a favorite 😍 wish we could have tried more items, but we will try to come back again!
Emily R — Google review
Great green chili burgers (order extra green chili), fried mushrooms are great . Wasn't fond of rellanos, not spicy, frozen way too long - became tough. Dining room closed-3 different visits;(
Chuck S — Google review
We stopped by based on the reviews from others. It did not disappoint!! One of the tastiest burgers I’ve had in so long! Green chile was delicious. Everything was made to order. The wings were crunchy and had a good flavor. We would have stopped a second time if they were open past 6:30pm on a Sunday but that’s understandable and I can appreciate that.
Ernestine A — Google review
If you don’t try the chimichanga, you’re missing out! Piles of beef, and a flaky burrito worth ordering again and again. Great fries and burgers too!
Christopher O — Google review
Delicious food even in 102 degree heat! The service was quick, food was flavorful, and the environment was nice even in the heat as you can enjoy some of the town. They offer an XL horchata and that was right up my alley!
Amanda D — Google review
Wonderful people, the food was great a my favorites were the breakfast burrito and the chicken burrito with red chillies. Pricing is great the whole atmosphere makes you feel like you're sitting back in time and getting a really good meal!

Bar-B-Que On Broadway is a long-standing establishment known for its generous portions of classic western BBQ at affordable prices. Despite being an old store, it has maintained a strong reputation over the years. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including ribs, brisket, Polish sausage, pulled pork, and more. In addition to their savory BBQ offerings, they also serve breakfast and have daily specials. Customers appreciate the fast service and reasonable prices.
Holy meat lovers paradise. Huge portions, reasonable price. Don't just go for the huge portions this is serious good food, and good staff. Polish sausage was awesome, ribs awesome, brisket you guessed it awesome, coleslaw awesome, fries awesome, oh right pulled pork... Awesome! And good Texas toast. Go hungry, leave in a wheel barrow; fyi wheel barrow not provided...

Buyer be ware not family friendly made me sick. Very rude service. Dirty walls were covered in old licence plates with nasty grease. I sat at a wobbly run down table the only table available to people who didn't "know the owner". The server was slow and rude. My overpriced breakfast was sloppy greasy tuff underseasoned and overcooked. The plates are dirty and the silverware has a layer of grease. When I voiced my concerns the manager told me that the customer isn't always right. Every single table there was occupied by family members of the owner who promptly began to verbally assault me and the children I was trying to feed. Shame on these smallminded small town racists discriminating against good families.help send a clear message that poisoning people and racist behavior will not be tolerated.
William Z — Google review
Wish I could give a negative 5 review. My family went here for breakfast 15 minutes before it was time for lunch to begin and the waitress refused to sit them for ten minutes, without them stating or it posted anywhere the times for meals. and when they were asked what they wanted they were told it was too late to order breakfast. The waitress then stated "the customer is never right!"
Ryan B — Google review
Good food, fast service and fair prices. Daily specials make the visit worthwhile. NOTE! Bar-B-Que on Broadway recently CLOSED! Apparently permanently! One less place to eat in TorC.
G C — Google review
They serve breakfast (are you listening, Google?)! The chile cheese fries are delicious; the real potatoes range from tender to crispy, and the chile (both red and green) is flavourful and classic New Mexico. Biscuits are tender, the gravy has lots of sausage. The food is not too salty! "The chef does not salt anything" .
Cris A — Google review
We go most Friday's when we are in town. Have never had anything I would not order again. The food and the service is great. Highly recommend it!
Monica R — Google review
Giving a 5 star. Haven't been there but the two grim reviews by william and ryan (obviously working together with their overlapping bad reviews) makes me want to offset their bs. Ryan, for ex, reveals he wasn't there or is a sock poppet of william: "took my family, THEY weren't seated....." why wouldn't he say WE? How does william know the entire restaurant was family members? Wouldn't fam members want their relative to do well? My review is that william/ryan is a complete jerk and it is about time restaurants stop "taking abuse" to make a buck. Can't wait to try the green chili burger next time i visit t or c! (William/ryan orolly owns bella luca where they really do treat you like dog poop)
Robin M — Google review
Used to like this place but we were swarmed with flies and given 1/2 pound burgers instead of 1/4 pound. The waitress never asked if we wanted the 1/2 pound ones. They did this to make more money. Beware.

Happy Belly Deli is a charming downtown spot offering a variety of mouthwatering deli options, including sandwiches, lox & bagels, and corned beef. The limited seating includes indoor and outdoor service on a shaded patio. Locally owned, the friendly staff serves up delectable dishes like the green tortilla breakfast burrito and Lox and Bagels that patrons rave about. The eclectic establishment also features local artwork for sale on its walls.
This place is awesome. If the dining area is full, they have a nice outside patio. It's the only place I ever eat anything green. They make a green tortilla breakfast burrito that is to die for. And my wife loves the Lox and Bagels. My kids love the pancakes. They are locally owned and everybody working there is nice. I like the fact that they put local artists work on the walls too. Just a great place to eat!

Good breakfast burritos. The portions are large. Wish they had milk with the half and half for my coffee.

Incredible. Worth the coin. Hone made cookies, tripple stacked club, simple but effective menu.
Mike C — Google review
We are staying at the Fire Water Lodge, next door to the Happy Belly Deli. One of the perks of staying here is a voucher for a cheese and egg bagel at this eclectic little establishment. Lori had her sandwich made with a garlic bagel, I chose the honey nut bagel. I ate part of Lori's. Both were very tasty and filling. The walls of the Happy Belly Deli are covered with artwork that is for sale. Prices range from $60 to a couple of hundred bucks but for those who can afford them, they are unique souvenirs. We have one more breakfast before we leave T or C in the morning and you know where that will be and not just because the sandwiches are complimentary.

Breakfast restaurant
Denny's is a popular casual restaurant chain that offers classic American comfort food, including a variety of all-day breakfast dishes. Recently, an exceptional waitress named Diane received praise for her outstanding service. Visitors from out of town were impressed by her kindness, respectfulness, and attentiveness to their needs. Despite being busy, she remained on top of things and provided the best service they had ever experienced at Denny's. The overall dining experience was enjoyable, with good food and great service.
Big Shout Out to our Amazing waitress Diane! We are from out of town and were looking for somewhere nice to dine. She was so kind, respectful, and attentive to all our needs! Regardless of how busy she was, she was on top of things! Thank you Diane for the best service we have ever had at a Denny's! We will definitely stop by here again whenever we are back in town! 👍🤗❤️

Good food great service, great diner experience. They have enough information for tourist. Our server was proactive with us we never had to seek her out she brought us our coffee regularly. Place was clean and good bathrooms. There was wifi which is great for an area where I don’t have great signal

The slowest service ever by Kim and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant for her to be busy, she forgot some of our items that I ordered, then when some old white people came in she was super quick and attentive to help them and put whipped cream on their shake, but not for us! Rude, lazy, and not a fair person

I've visited this restaurant 3 times. All 3 times have been disappointing. The last time was the last time. Never again. I guess you guys keep your doors open because you get travelers from the freeway, cause the local folks sure don't say nice things. It's a shame. Truth or Consequences has a serious lack of restaurants. You should be able to count on the name of Denny's to get a good meal. You can count on the Denny's in Truth or Consequences to be disappointing!

Really friendly and professional staff. Chicken Addiction entree was fantastic! So amazing, only restaurant open on thanksgiving in the small town of T or C, really saved our butts! Thanks so much ❤️

This was the best experience I ever had at any Denny's. The food was excellent and the employees were absolutely on point. Whoever the manager here is, you have wonderful staff. Thank you to everyone here.

Only been coming bout one a month... Everytime something is wrong on the order or missing. I pay for the extras I don't get regularly. And I am tired of it. Asked for cheese on the eggs... Nope asked for fruit didn't get it... Called about the fruit but since I had returned to work it wasn't so easy to jus go back for the fruit... I really understand that there is staffing shortages. But can employees work together to make sure all orders come out right and are packed and bagged up right. I hope things improve. Denny's use to be a fav for me and my family.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has stood the test of time, renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. As part of the quick-service restaurant (QSR) scene alongside other giants like Subway and KFC, McDonald's offers an array of menu items including breakfast options, appetizers, and delectable desserts. The chain prides itself on delivering speedy service at affordable prices while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all diners.
Good stop coming from Albuquerque to El Paso. Plus it’s a cool name.

Not sure who trained these people but this particular store has only seemed to manage to 100% screw up orders. From trying to serve food allergens to people who state the allergies to serving burgers that looked like they were prechewed. (When the meat is broken up and falling everywhere out of the box it is handed out in. Absolutely disgusted with the overpriced swill they try to pass off as edible. (Do yourself a favor and go to A&B further in town, at least they provide quality that McDonalds can obviously only claim.)

I should have checked the reviews. I came inside to order (thankfully). First thing there is NO option to order at the counter. Why? Ordered a Egg and sausage biscuit, which turned out to be a brick with egg and sausage. By brick i mean imagine crushing a brick with a hammer. Yep! That's how it crumbled. Why would anyone who works here serve i biscuit that has hardened? Thankfully I was inside so I took my brick i mean biscuit to the counter and got a fresh biscuit.

McDonalds is now trading on their name only, definitely not value for money. I bought one sausage and egg muffin which measured 2.5in in diameter and it cost me over 6 dollars. They were running minimal staff at 6am so it took over 12 minutes to prepare it. It tasted the same as any other sausage and egg muffin sandwich. So, not cheap, not fast, and the same taste as anywhere else... I think I'll be looking for alternatives like local burrito shops or bakery from now on.

Online order with pick up. Tried the new golden deluxe chicken sandwich. Sandwich had a good taste and the lettuce was crisp. My issue is the sandwich had twice as much bread then it did chicken.
Jolene F — Google review
They always try to make your meal perfect. And I'm a little crippled can't walk very well when I asked them if they can help me carry my tray or just bring my tray to where I sat down the always say yes and they are so pleasing with me and I feel like I'm right at home I would rather do everything on my own but I can't and I enjoy eating there they just make it so much better

Unreal that you can't get a person to help you at a register. We stopped by to grab a bite. I stood at the counter waiting for help. Was eventually told I could use the kiosk. I said I don't want to use a kiosk, I'd like a human." I was told by a nice lady that she'd help me use the kiosk, that she's human. She was polite 100%. However, I didn't want to pay with a card either. I wanted to use cash. Apparently, this location doesn't care to man a register or even use one when a customer doesn't want to use a damn kiosk. Maybe it's a McDonald's thing, not just this location. I rarely ever visit McDonald's, so I don't really know. So here's a poor review because there's no such thing as customer service here at this McDonald's. This is just one of the many reasons I hardly get fast food anymore. No service, overpriced, unhealthy, and mostly not that great tasting. Step it up McDonald's, You need to have a person on the register up front. There are plenty of people who like human interaction still!
FRANK R — Google review
The chicken nuggets were cold. Placing order was a nightmare. No ordering at the counter anymore, ordering at the kiosk is a true nightmare especially when you want to pay cash. Pretty sure I won't be returning to any McDonald's in the near future 😡

Sonic Drive-In is a classic fast-food spot with a nostalgic drive-in service. Located at 2000 North Date Street in Truth Or Consequences, NM, it offers a variety of menu items including appetizers, baked goods, breakfast foods, burgers, and options for children. Despite ongoing roadwork in front of the establishment causing some inconvenience for access, the staff is known to be friendly and efficient. Customers have praised the Chile burger as a must-try item on the menu.
This is an update to my previous review. I went back a week later and ordered a garlic butter bacon cheeseburger and it was done right. When they are prepared the right way they are delicious. I go there and order this 1 time per week. I will review again on my next trip there.

If it wasn't for the girl taking out the food and for the manager being kool and trying to fix the issue, I would score it all one star. We got the wrong order twice, the second time we just left. The girl did excuse the fact that they were short staff and had several new employees, which we understood. Sometimes, it's the little things that make the difference, and that girls great personality made the difference from this being a bad experience.
Mike U — Google review
Sonic is normally great, but last week I ordered a chicken sandwich with no lettuce or mayo, it had both & the chicken was hard as a rock, I threw it away. Yesterday I ordered 2 super sonic bacon cheeseburgers with no lettuce, no mayo & add mustard. They did have no mayo & no lettuce with just a squirt of mustard as ordered. But they also had no onion & no pickles too!!!! Not what I ordered!!! Came home & put my own onion, pickles & more mustard. Not sure what is going on there now but their cook needs to learn how to read & follow instructions or the should get another cook!!! Not happy at this point.

Area was clean. The food though…burgers weren’t pink but they were soggy. I felt like I was eating wet burgers. Customer service was good though.

Stopped for 2 mix in shakes and couldn't get anyone to take our order. Drive up, didn't work, walk up, no one came to the window. Finally went thru drive thought only to wait 10+ min to get order. I'm very disappointed. The shake was great!

Waited 25 minutes for ice cream just to come out and tell me the ice cream had been broken for over an hour. When ordering I asked many questions and ordered three different things. They came out and said that they would try and get me a refund, I’ll know in three days or so.

Sonic in Truth or Consequences comes as a surprise to have to wait for 4 drinks ordered at 9:42 p.m. As of this moment it is now after 10 p.m. The concerns we have while waiting is making communication with staff members through the button at a stall and they answered "they're still working on it." Now 20 minutes later we finally receive our drinks with now a staff member who seems to have an issue with us inconveniencing them. There's no standard for the service they're providing nor do they seem to show an interest in the image they're presenting for the Sonic franchise.
Daniel N — Google review
They have like 5 working stalls and the rest were turned into “park and eat”. It’s a hit or miss if any of those 5 stalls are going to work or not. Went to 3 different stalls and none of them worked. The drive through takes forever. For there being limited food options here, they really don’t seem to care if they make the community happy or not.

Fast food restaurant
Subway is a casual counter-serve chain that offers build-your-own sandwiches and salads, including health-conscious options. The menu includes baked goods, desserts, children's options, chips, entrees, juice, salads, and sides. They also provide catering services and accept custom orders for lunch and dinner. While some customers have experienced limited choices due to items being out of stock during their visits, many praise the quality of the food and the friendly service from staff members.
Nice clean place. They had all the sandwich fixings
Erin W — Google review
Workers are helpful and pleasant. The food is typical subway fare. Subway now puts CHEDDAR CHEESE on the little pizzas! But the place is dirty. The ladies room has a broken soap dispenser and no towels. There was a man vacuuming the computer with food uncovered. He was wearing a dirty white cowboy hat. Lost my appetite.
Dee D — Google review
It's a nice and small eating space, the food is good, the employees are friendly and the combos are pretty pricey but still are worth it. Cleanliness is not good as there are spill next to the soda machine and messy around but I'm sure they clean well. And they have a wide variety of food choices.

The only Subway in town that I found. I was satisfied it's hard to find vegetables on the road they had all the makings for a good fresh spinach salad

I ordered online and they kept my food and didn’t return my money. Tried calling them got hanged up more than 10 times. Spoke with manager Anthony and he hanged up on me too. Won’t be ordering from them again.

I asked for turkey on my sandwich and the man behind the counter told me he can’t do that and that I need to leave or he’s going to call the cops on me. I haven’t eaten all day and your employee was the rudest person I’ve ever met. He made me cry and ruined my vacation. Other customers behind me saw what he did and left after how he treated me. I’ve reported this location to the better business bureau and expect that employee to be fired for treating customers so poorly. Absolutely unacceptable. 1900 North Date Street Lakeway Shopping Center Truth or Consequences, NM 87901, USA #14799 8:45pm 7/28/22

Staff is consistently rude today I was the only person in the store and I stood there without being helped for 15 minutes I wasn’t even greeted, other times I’ve been in the store have been very unpleasant rude manager as well…
