The momo was really tasty. It's not an air conditioned place. We went there at noon time which made the whole experience extremely ridiculous as the heat was too much to handle. Also the number of working staff is just one or two which makes me give the customer service as 1 or max 2. The momo was really worth the money paid but then comes the question if it's worth the visit. Also the Tibetan sitting arrangement and a congestion due to lack of space ended up making us nauseous. I'll not recommend this space as a must go to space or anything but if they make changes to the above mentioned problems then yes maybe i might go. But in the present condition I don't want to visit this place again. The food was not very expensive but at this stage, one will have to wait until they prepare one order completely and deliver it to atleast get a waiter to ask them to take our order. Overall a bad experience.

We saw a Kathakali show here, and I was mesmerised. It was interesting to see how the cast applied their own makeup before the show. It's definitely a must do when in Kochi! It's a small venue and the view is good from any seat, just perfect. Wear mosquito repellant, though.

Dishes Steamed chicken momos - 8 pieces Non veg thukpa Momos were not soft as you would expect, possibly because they were not freshly prepared. Chutney had a taste as if it was spoilt. When we asked the bearer he said it was because of too much soy sauce and that it was prepared just now. Thukpa is plain noodle in soup. This was my first thukpa so don't have any reference to compare. It was decent especially with the soup. We were seated upstairs and the ambience is not that great. It is a joint which serves decent food with an okayish ambience. Will need to visit again during season to see if anything is different.

Visited the place solely looking at the reviews, and was definitely not disappointed. Was a task in finding the location itself, but was guided by the owner on call. The restaurant itself is located in a small road where you have to go by walk, and has ground floor and first floor seating, and it is run by a Tibetan family. The food was simply delicious! We tried the Chicken ball soup, Chicken Lollipop, Fried Chicken with hot garlic sauce, and Schezwan Chicken Fried rice. Chicken ball soup - 3/5 Chicken Lollipop - 5/5 Fried Chicken - 5/5 Schezwan chicken fried rice - 4/5 We need to order the food in advance, and the lady helped us out buy suggesting us to order less since the quantity was a lot. Food pricing was very reasonable for that quantity. Food quality and quantity has no compromise.

Have never wasted food or left the food after having a taste of it, for the first time unfortunately I had to do it in Tibetan chef's restaurant. Please consider this as a constructive feedback. They need to improve the taste of the food. The dishes we had ordered lacked flavour. Below average dishes. If the food was yummy then I would have definitely recommend this place for the upstairs ambience which is pretty Tibetan. They really need to improve when it comes to food.

Writing this after trying the chicken chopsuey,Momos in soup and Chilli chicken for the first time from this place. Chilli chicken - they knocked it out of the park. Super yum!💯 Momos in soup - has a veryyy mild and minty flavour.If you are not fond of mint flavour,stay away from this dish. I liked it👌🏼🥟 Chicken chopsuey - made with crispy noodles. Mix everthing up with a fork and voilà! Deliciousness. Wait time for food was too much🕟 even when there was only one other table that was occupied. So don't go in if you are reallyyy hungry😬

We dined at Pai Dosa on Saturday, August 10th, in the late afternoon, and it was hardly crowded. There's ample parking nearby, which makes it easy for you to park smoothly. We tried their Egg masala dosa, special egg dosa, Ghee masala dosa, and kada omelet dosa, along with a mango smoothie and lime juice. All of it was quite satisfying and enjoyable. I recommend it if you are a dosa lover. The interiors are recently renovated and gives a nice dining experience.

Pai Dosha was great around 25 years ago. Now only the name is left. I would definitely think again about visiting this restaurant again. The quality and service is poor and it’s not cheap like it once was.

The sambar vada was excellent—crispy, flavourful, and perfectly soaked. I also tried the kutti masala dosa, though the portion wasn’t as “kutti” (small) as expected. The Si Bharathan dosa stood out with great taste but was slightly on the spicier side.

Decent place to have a lot of variety Dosas. One of the oldest restaurants in the city and the OG Pai Brothers' outlet. A bit pricy compared to other restaurants. They have varieties of veg and egg dosas. Their egg masala is the must try.

One of the oldest restaurants in Kochi, this place used to be my go-to spot for a variety of dosas. They offer an extensive menu with nearly 100 different dosa options, allowing customers to choose based on their taste preferences. To place an order, you need to select your items from the menu and pay at the counter first before the food is delivered to your table. The restaurant has been recently renovated, and they’ve done a great job with the new look. While the food was delicious and likely to be enjoyed by everyone, I did feel the prices were slightly on the higher side and could be more reasonable. They also provide a dedicated parking space for customers, which is a plus. However, one area that needs improvement is the restroom—it was small and not well-maintained, so better cleanliness would definitely enhance the overall experience.

I recently visited this place after a long time. There were a lot of customers at my time of visit. I have ordered Ghee Roast Dosa and that was good, it was served along with coconut chutney and sambar. Now they were not allowing to dine at the first floor. There is no parking space dedicated for the customers of this shop. However, there is a pay and park nearby.

Nostalgic place for all malayali, I tried masala dosa,Veg cutlet, fresh lime. You will get a soft veg cutlet here. Beat root added in cutlet and masala ,so you will get sweetness. Good seating capacity. Service also good. there is pay and park facility nearby the Indian coffee house.

The cafe is well known for its bombay toasts and cutlets. Although relatively small in size, their signature veg cutlet made with beetroot is delicious. The way the food was presented required improvement. In addition, they serve masala dosa, ghee dosa, tea, coffee, juice, other snacks and many more.

Issue is poor hygiene outside the hotel leading to bad smell inside, food is OK... Issue was nothing was served hot... As this is the only ICH left in ernakulam.. I wish they work on hygience and hot food

What's more concerning is that this behavior was exhibited by staff members who appeared to be the owners' children, and they used derogatory language in local dialects. As a tourist, I expect a certain level of hospitality and respect, especially in a place that's supposed to showcase the local culture. Your team's behavior fell woefully short of these expectations. I intend to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities and share my experience with fellow travelers to prevent others from facing similar treatment. I hope you'll take immediate action to address this issue, including: 1. Investigating the incident 2. Apologizing for the staff's behavior 3. Taking disciplinary action against the staff members involved 4. Providing better training for staff on customer service and conflict resolution

This was a cozy cafe. The ambience was pleasant. It has outdoor seatings. We had fruit salad, ginger tea, kerala pancake and puttu with kadala curry. Everything was good. The kerala pancake was basically coconut and natural sugar stuffed inside wheat dosa and it was really tasty. The kadala curry was also good. It was a perfect combination for the puttu. The service was quick. Would have loved more fruits in the fruit salad. But nevertheless, it was a good experience. The only concern for me is that they had very limited options. Would have loved appam with this kadala curry.

i came here twice while in Kochi. First for breakfast and I got the Kerala pancakes and chai - delicious and the perfect portion! The second time I came I had a veg Kerala meal which was also so tasty and I got lots more sambar when I asked for more. They are so friendly and helpful. You can also exchange money next door.

Such a cute place for breakfast. I had the Kerala pancake, fruit and black coffee. Very relaxed, friendly staff and fast wifi if you need.

The restaurant has a small rooftop sitting area. One person takes care of taking orders, cleaning after the tables, serving the food. So the service is very slow, approx wait time of 45 mins usually. The fish fry is a must try though. The chicken fry was not okay, too.

When compared to the other over priced restaurants in fort Kochi, this one is relatively cheaper. Food is average. Wouldn't recommend food with prawns in them, they pass off tiny shrimp as prawns. I also ordered the fish fry which lacked seasoning but tasted alright.

Visited this shop with my brother and ordered 2 chicken biryani. While the biryani tasted fine, I'd say it's actually below average. The quantity was disappointing and the chicken pieces were too small, which added to the dissatisfaction. To make matters worse, the table wasn't properly cleaned. But what really took a toll on our experience was the unprofessional way we were treated. The staff's behavior was unacceptable - they seemed completely disinterested in our experience. We had breakfast with chana masala , chapati and coffee all the things were good in taste , chana masala was not that spicy and coffee was good in taste which cost us 90/- rs service was fast and they accept digital payment like Google Pay and phone pe also parking is an issue as it on main chowk ( junction )

My favourite beef place.. And they're food from nadan beef roast to chilli beef.. Excellent food. Live porottas and excellent tea with local kerala snacks are their specialities. Easily accessible place and almost easy to find a car park on streets. This is my one of the favourites breakfast places in fortcochin.

The first time we visited, we had porotta and egg curry. It was delicious but the second time it was just a waste. The egg curry was not at all good. Porotta was also below average. Tea items were not available. Also the hygiene was also below average.

Bought a cutlet around 10AM. Hot, fresh from kadai. Broke it into half, and there were sticky slimy strings from the cutlet. Smelled awful. Asked why it is like this fresh from kadai and the lady there asked the cook why he didn't cook it for longer. Clearly the slime and smell is not because it was uncooked rather the stuff used was old and they were trying to overcook and cover it up. Try at your own risk.

I had the pleasure of dining at chicking mg road last night, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The service was top-notch - our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. Despite Coca-Cola being clearly available, they refused to provide a full bottle, even though we were willing to pay the full price or take it as a takeaway. This is very disappointing and unacceptable. The staff’s attitude was unprofessional, and they showed no willingness to accommodate a simple request. Additionally, the overall experience was poor due to their lack of customer care and flexibility. I expected better service, especially when customers are ready to pay for what they want. Very bad customer service. Hygiene is another major concern. The serving plates and glasses are old and often dirty. We were even served unclean glasses. The restaurant itself is poorly maintained, with mosquitoes everywhere. They use a mosquito repellent machine, but it made me uncomfortable rather than solving the problem. Despite being in a prime location, the restaurant is usually empty, and I can see why. With such poor management, lack of hygiene, and bad service, it’s not a place we will be returning to.

The outlet has great location and space but it needs to be administered in terms of cleanliness and service. Tables should be cleaned immediately after has been vacated. I would opt for take away only as the place and time is convenient.

I tried the Shawai-Mandi combo, Al Faham, and Porotta. I liked the Shawai, but I preferred it plain as I didn’t like the added masala. The rest of the dishes were just okay but i didn’t like the mandi rice. The restaurant is always crowded at night, offering a wide variety of dishes, though I haven’t had the chance to try them all. There’s additional seating inside, which isn’t visible from the entrance. The attached image shows this inner section, while the main dining area is slightly larger. Also non AC seating is there at the side. The staff were okay, but the service was a bit slow. Parking for two-wheelers is convenient right in front of the restaurant, but finding a spot for a car can be challenging.

I was passing through MG Road and saw this restaurant so stepped in. As soon as I saw shawarma being made in front, and I felt like eating it. I bought the following items , Full Meat Shawarma, porotta beef roast, and orange juice. Average quality!! Had enough quantity. There is space for those who go with family, friends or couples to sit and eat... The items I ordered were delivered quickly. Customer service was very good.

I had alfahm with poratta late at night, after 12 AM, and it was really good. The place is in a great spot on MG Road, easy to find and nice to sit and eat. The poratta was amazing soft, crispy, and fresh. The chicken was juicy and well-cooked, full of flavor. You can tell it was fresh. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely come back again!

My experience at Street Menu was extremely disappointing. I ordered half Al Faham Mandi and four porottas with gravy, but the gravy was filled with rice. The service was very poor—the waiters were quite rude. I reported the issue to the cashier, but he completely ignored me. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Dined here for dinner and had an excellent experience! We ordered Chilly Chicken, Fried Rice, Nool Porotta, and Beef Dry Fry, all of which were absolutely delicious! The taste and quality were exceptional and savory. A special shoutout to the manager, who went above and beyond by helping us secure a safe street parking spot beforehand which undoubtedly showcases such thoughtful service! The menu is extensive, offering loads and loads of varieties to choose from. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

We have ordered Chicken Mandi, Nool Porata and Beef Roast Plus Mosambe Juice.. Mandi is not good.. Chicken is not well cooked.. Not recommended mandi... Beef Roast is below average taste... Nool Porata also not get cooked well.. Mosambee juice Most Bitter Juice i ever tasted.

Their sweets are awesome but won't recommend their parathas and other food... Price is too high for paratha and it's curry.. If u want to try sweets and snacks then surely go ahead but big no for lunch or dinner combos and lassi.. No hot drinking water provided. There wasn't water for hand wash 🧼🤲🚰. Difficult to find car parking.

First is first I’m not a fan of spicy🥵 food but I use to explore all kind of it YEAH!! And this time for the typical “Bengali” foods like “Chaats and Sweets” and for the very first time I used to taste the Chaats, Bhajis and all, first I tried the “Pav Bhaji” it contains 2 buns with some curry/gravy made with potato🥔 but it quite spicy 🌶 for my liking but it’s delicious and it costs ₹50 and worthy, then I tried the typical “Pani Puri” 5 puri’s with some masala inside and 2 cup of some spicy water one in green and other in red, I like the pani puri but without these spicy🥵🌶 water only and it cost around ₹60/70, definitely next time exclusively for sweets🧁 for sure because I heard a lot about there legacy of sweets🍬 and I like sweets more than all YEAH!! The ambiance is quite congested for my liking but it doesn’t matter here😁

Regarding the taste of sweet it's exquisite. As they say we hope it is the pure sweets itself. Slightly expensive considering the ambiance of the shop. Would be better if they can have some posters on how to eat tye sweets as not everyone is familiar with Bengali sweets. Anyway it's always a thumbs-up for the shop and it's food..

To really savour those yummy Panipuri's from Delhi streets to that off Vada Pav's from aamchi Mumbai..This place is must...This outlet got enough space to sit compared to their other outlets. Worth the buck for chat lovers.

Overall, a nice place. You get varieties of North Indian sweets. Other than the north Indian delicacies, you get the exclusive Omana Paul's Plum cake too. (I never found that cake worth the money, would suggest to go for other brand plum cakes which are not expensive. It's just like the price difference between MacBook Pro with Touch bar and without one. In the cake's case, it's not even "nice to have" as well!) The place is kind of expensive. The owner and the staffs are well behaved and friendly. Rasmalai from here is good. After 5PM, you also get a wide variety of Chaat too. The road outside is very narrow, there's a small parking ground few metres away. Also, you've to go inside around 200 metres from the main road to reach the outlet. I would recommend the outlet but will not recommend the extremely high priced Omana Paul's Plum cake.

There's something about the pink wall. Everything you bite in here at Bikash Babu sweets are blissfull. Exceptional is chole batura with some super refreshing sweet curd. Another unique one is the paneer jeleebi. Oh the paneer roll . Must dig into that mastard sauce. Go there when you think your diet is going no where. They keep passing a big plate of jaleebis sometime for free.Signs of a good and honest business.find them in panampilly nagar in one of the side lanes. There's something nice about this outlet. They should serve their mishtidahi in madka. Though i have had far better chaat n sweets in calcutta...this is not that bad. I doubt if you would get such Variety anywhere in kerala. Pretty heavy but i feel like going back already.

Loved this place . Their Dahi puri was really refreshing to eat on a hot sunny day . Tried their rasamalai , it was very sweet which I really liked . Wasn’t a big fan of Dahi balla though . The staff was very friendly , he even gave us a jalebi to try on . Which was super nice

While the buzz around it is strong, if we set that aside and look purely at the food, it’s quite average—comparable to what you’d get at any typical thattukada (street food stall). However, what makes this spot stand out is its ambiance. Especially during the rainy season, it offers a unique experience—with a beautiful view of the lake and the nostalgic vibes of an old-style shop. It’s a cozy place to sit and relax while watching the rain. We were a group of three and ordered: • 3 plates of puttu and beef • 1 beef fry • 1 chicken fry • 3 kattan kaapi (black coffee) The puttu and beef were enjoyable,beef fry avaerage and the chicken fry had a distinct flavor, likely cooked in coconut oil which added to the taste. The total bill came to ₹860, which is reasonable for the quantity and the location. Overall, it’s a decent spot more for the atmosphere than the food. Worth a visit, especially on a rainy day!

The Karimeen Polichathu was awesome. The taste and preparation was very good. The Malabar parotta was also good. The schezwan noodled doesn’t tasted as it should be. The Veg fried rice is good. Almost all the dishes were served quickly. There is also a chat counter, which we didn’t try as we went for dinner. Nice place to try

The restaurant is bang opposite the Cherai Beach promenade and parking lot. The ambience of the restaurant was very good, being housed in a typical Kerala style bungalow with rooms on the first floor and the well furnished restaurant on the ground floor. They have outdoor and indoor seating as well. Parking was available in their compound. We had a nice evening enjoying the sea breeze with our order of Kingfish Meen Pollichathu. The Surmai fish was wrapped in banana leaf after marinating in the spices and masalas and then cooked. The taste was excellent and we had it with Kerala Parottas. The size of the fish was sufficient for the two of us. The service was quite good and friendly. The price was reasonable.

Was on our way to Lilliput but saw this restaurant on the way. Felt appealing but turned out to be one of the don't judge a book by the cover moments. Horrible food, had no taste and a very limited and restrictive menu. The place is just designed to loot customers including using their washrooms. The water here has a very chlorine filled taste also.

Went there by looking at the exterior but from the inside it's not worth going. All the products are priced as per size but no description for the size or price is present and can't see what are they preparing. Very poor service. Restaurant need to take care about the cleanliness of the tables and especially washrooms. Food quality and quantity not upto the standard.

We've had a masala dosa and bhature. Masala dosa was quite large when compared to other stores and price. Bhature masla was really tasty and so satisfying tasty. many flavours of masla in that. I Saw many people ordering bhature. It's their signature dish I think. And masla dosa was really good too

Traditional Kerala sadhya...Went here for a taste of the local place. They serve food on a banana leaf, along with all the traditional dishes that are part of the Onam Sadhya. Great food and service, would highly recommend...Went there on Saturday. Everything perfect. Such friendly staff. We tried the Mandi for the first time and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently renovated. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be coming back.

They have long list of food items but hardly they have it on plate. I have ordered for chapati and garlic chicken but when it was served, the chapati was cold and I felt it was stale too. I had to reorder with wheat parotta. The chicken was half cooked and was supposed to be garlic chicken instead it was nothing but chilly chicken. It was added with lots of preservatives with red colour flavours added to make it little tomato saucy. Even after washing my fingers, red colours were visible between my fingers. The food supplier asked me to order chilly chicken, at the end of the day it was chilly chicken instead of garlic chicken. The chilly chicken was dipped in those red saucy colour flavoured to make it called as garlic chicken.. they have huge space and ambiance, good for nothing. I was draped with outside ambiance but actually the food is pathetic and overly charged for each food items.

This is not the first time I experienced the same from here... Still they are not ready to rectify there mistakes or to improve there service... I suggest no one to move there...

Food was disappointing, tried prorota with beef masala. Porota was hard and cold, when I asked the restaurant staff she told that it was prepared earlier and they heated the porota just before serving. Also tried chicken biriyani, it was okay nothing special about it. The good thing about this restaurant is availability of parking.

I got a medium margarita pizza..the size was not comparable to regular medium size pizza.. .it's really small for the price you pay.. it pizza didn't have any flavours , strong ketchup taste and pizza dough was soggy.. I ordered it as a takeout however the pizza I got was barely warm..it seems like they didn't use clay oven at all to make.. but was reheated .If you are going to order pizza from this place , you will be disappointed.

Tryst with taste... If somebody ask me for a place where you could get good burgers in the outskirts of Kothamangalam I would suggest this shop. I was not much of a burger lover. But I had heard about this place from a few reliable sources and I decided to try out. The seating is modest so is the price. But you have a variety of burgers n fruit drinks to choose from. The taste is at par with the name of these beauties. Each byte is crunchy n juicy as it could be.So go for it. If not you will miss a few of the finest burgers in the town. The place is very hygenic too.. Oh I wish these people make themselves more visible.

It was surprise for me to see ready made beef burger at Kothamangalam. After reading the reviews i went there with lot of expectation. But I have to say it was not up to the mark. Found a new box shaped shop for Momos , Yes its Shifu’s Kitchen. Special spicy momos , Chowmein noodle 🍜 brings a variety of Chinese tastes here . It’s served with some momos too . Szechuan Momos was Spicy and tasty together 👍👍👍👍 Very affordable price and filling with one plate . Seating was the only thing in disappointing.
