Well, if you’re a fan of hospitality, never go here. Why? Because you’re completely on your own! You’ll have to search for a seat yourself—no one from the restaurant will help you. So consider this a warning. On the positive side, the food is tasty and the service is quick. I tried the masala dosa and Malabar parotta. The parotta was large and came with two vegetable curries—try the yellow one, it’s good. Price-wise, it’s reasonable: neither too high nor too low. One quirky thing in Kerala is that they serve hot water to drink, and no one bothers to tell you beforehand! I’m also giving one or two stars less because the restaurant guard showed no compassion for animals. A cat tried to enter the parking area, and he rudely shooed it away.

Hotel Bharath is a spacious and very well-maintained place with great seating arrangements. Everything is super clean and comfortable. The staff were really cool and served quickly. I had curd vada — creamy, sweet, and slightly tangy — the star of my meal! The filter coffee was on another level, especially with the cutlet. Chapathi with kadala and kuruma was freshly made with grounded masala and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Thrissur town! 👌

Food tastes delicious. The hygiene level is very bad. Proper cleaning is not done. Dining tables are dirty. They just wipe it and don't even bother to clean it properly. The hand wash area is so pathetic, the spider web is all over the places and taps are not maintained well.

The iconic restaurant’s food taste and hygiene have declined noticeably compared to earlier days. Cleanliness definitely needs improvement. Unfortunately, I even had a stomach upset after having the chicken curry. Hope the management takes this feedback seriously and restores the quality that Indian Coffee House is known for. Thx

Plenty of parking space, which is a big plus. The ambience is really nice with an oldschool aesthetic exposed brick walls and a slightly dark vibe that makes it cozy.For food, I tried Malai Paneer, Mushroom Curry, Kulcha, Butter Naan, and chilly gopi. The Mushroom Curry was the highlight super tasty! Malai Paneer was just average, and the breads (Kulcha & Butter Naan) were really good. The Gobi , though, felt a bit off masala was nice but inside it lacked flavor.

Today evening we ordered Ghee Podi Dosa. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely spicy — even spicier than “Jolo Chips,” which made it inedible. We immediately informed the waiter, but there was no response or concern shown. We just had a taste and left the rest, still paying the full bill. Afterward, we did not feel well. This was a very disappointing experience, and we strongly suggest the restaurant take customer feedback seriously and ensure the quality of food is balanced and safe for all.

We travelled for 6 hours exhausted and hungry. That's when found this vegetarian place and so happy that we chose this. There was waiting for tables but they were considerate as we had kids. Good variety of menu and day's specials were good too. We ordered dosa, vegetable pulav , soup and panir tikka starter. All were good and service was quick. Definitely recommend for casual lunch and dinner at this place. Ambience can be improved a little bit.

Visited Alibaba and 41 Dishes in Thrissur yesterday with high expectations, and overall, it was a decent experience with a few notable highlights and a few areas that need attention. Firstly, the biggest drawback I faced was the parking. The space available is quite limited, and during peak hours, it was a real struggle to find a proper spot. For a restaurant of this popularity, better parking management is definitely needed. That said, once inside, the atmosphere was good — nicely set up interiors with a pleasant dining ambiance. The place had a lively vibe, and the seating was comfortable enough to enjoy a peaceful meal. Coming to the food, it was truly satisfying. The dishes had authentic flavours, and you could tell that attention was given to the ingredients and preparation. Everything we ordered was well-balanced in taste — not overly spicy, not bland. It lived up to the reputation when it comes to flavour. However, the service sector needs clear improvement. The staff were polite, but the coordination and promptness were lacking. There were noticeable delays in serving and attending to tables, especially with so many customers around. It didn’t spoil the experience entirely, but it did affect the flow of the meal.

Well a lot of things were bad. Frequently visited this place cause it was near to my hotel during my visit in 1st week of July. 1. They missed giving any cutlery with food even upon request. (For takeaway) 2.Food is mediocre but over hyped and overpriced a bit. 3. They served water in broken glass, could have caused some serious injuries if I had not noticed it. 4. The bearded guy at the billing counter was quite argumentative. If you make a mistake u should accept it. Arguing doesn't help anyone. Rest of the staff were very generous. Waiters were attentive and well groomed. Overall not a bad place but needs serious improvements

We visited Alibaba and 41 Dishes in Thrissur recently. The ambience and service were okay, but unfortunately, the food wasn’t as delicious as we expected. We ordered chicken lollipop, chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, fish biriyani, chatti choru, and mineral water – the total bill came to ₹1,427. For the price, we expected better taste and quality. It wasn’t a bad experience, but not something we’d go back for either.

I’m giving 1 star mainly because of the waiter’s behavior. A group sitting next to us finished their meal, and as soon as they got up, the waiter quickly took their bill, ran to the counter, and even paid it himself. But when it came to us, he completely ignored our table. It felt like he gave them special treatment just because they looked “rich,” while we were overlooked. Such biased behavior is unacceptable in a restaurant. As for the food, we came here after seeing reels and reviews. It wasn’t as great as expected, but not too bad either. We had pathal with mutton, which was good, and the wheat parotta was average.

The Patiala Paneer was awesome, especially when paired with the Turkish bread. Falooda was good too.

Parking space is limited and taking the car out of the parking lot is a bit challenging since the space is a bit cramped. The ambience is really good. There was no waiting time and we found a table immediately. Service is quick and smooth. The ladies serving the food kept asking if we needed refill of rice, curry etc. Highly recommended for authentic sadhya taste. The sadhya cost 200/- per person.

Tried their meals. It felt like a proper kalyana sadya setup with plenty of side dishes and even two types of payasam, which was a nice surprise. Taste wise, it was okay, not amazing, but not bad either. A couple of the side dishes felt a bit old though, which pulled it down a bit. The place is a bit closed in and congested, so not the best if you’re looking for a roomy, comfortable vibe. They do have a family section and an upstairs area, plus parking is available, which is definitely a plus. The meal cost ₹220, which is decent for the spread. Overall, a nice veg spot if you’re in the mood for a traditional meal experience.

A traditional sadhya with all the usual curries, though the overall taste was just above average. The payasam stood out as quite good. Located in the heart of Thrissur, the place has ample parking. A big plus is that they still served sadhya even at 4 PM when we visited.

The place appears to be a house converted into a hotel, with several small rooms arranged with tables for convenient seating. The menu offered was a traditional Kerala Sadhya, served on a banana leaf. Since it was Onam, I had been enjoying Sadhya daily, but this one truly stood out with the variety of dishes served. They offered two payasams — the parippu payasam, which I found better balanced, and the ada payasam, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, the food was excellent. The restaurant also sells its own masalas and idli podi, which we picked up, and they had plenty of other such options. While the compact rooms might feel a little claustrophobic to some, the food is definitely worth trying.

I recently went here for dinner. They only serve dosa varieties. They serve many types of dosa. They serve chutney, sambar, chmbandhi, chili powder, etc. with all types of dosa. All of them taste good. The interior is also beautiful to look at. They also sell their products here.

Went there first time for lunch. Ordered chinese - usual super dry scrambled egg in rice. Gravy gobi Manchurian was full of soy sauce as was the dry paneer chilli. The killer dishes were the "russian salad" and the "beef steak". What was that mush they were serving as russian salad? It had some tiny pieces of apple. Rest was all kerala banana. Horrible to say the least. And no dressing. It was sweet with added sugar, more a fruit salad. Should be renamed as kerala salad 🤣. Photo attached. I asked what the beef steak accompaniments were. They said veggies and mashed patato. Yeah right. Single Small Julienne of carrot, half a baby corn, one slice of zucchini and one spoon of mash. See for yourself in attached photo. The menu does say the steak is "home style" and so it was. 2 overthick small lumps of cold meat overcooked in a pressure cooker which hasnt seen any grill and dont know when cooked. Accompaniment was a thickish tamarind sauce so sour it was unpalatable. This for around rs 400. I should have crossed the street and had the steak from corniche resto which serves veggies and a palatable sauce. All in all a most unforgettable experience. I should learn not to trust ratings of kerala restaurants. Never go there or order online

I visited Cson's restaurant a couple of years ago in Poothole. We ordered mostly Chinese food, and it was delicious. Cson's Repeat had a good menu selection. We ordered a Caesar salad, chicken tikka biryani, spaghetti, dragon chopsuey, lava chicken fried rice, and cream of chicken soup. The salad and soup were good and refreshing. The chicken soup deserves special mention; it had the highest ratio of chicken cubes of any soup I've ever tried!😁 The dragon chopsuey was decent; it was less spicy than what we've had at Hao Ming and other places. The lava chicken fried rice was also good; it's basically chicken fried rice with a bed of chilli chicken. The spaghetti was too creamy, giving it a sweet flavour, and the oregano was overpowering. The star of the evening was the chicken tikka biryani, a must-try. It's not flashy, but the combination of soft basmati rice and chicken tikka masala is uniquely flavorful. Overall, it was a good experience with friendly waiters, and the prices were affordable.

Fisherman’s Hub is a great spot if you're looking for well-made seafood in a comfortable, luxurious setting. The restaurant is located inside a stay hotel, so the ambiance is clean, cozy, and upscale. We ordered the Sea Grill platter, and overall it had a delicious, fresh taste. A couple of items felt slightly over-grilled, but the flavors were still satisfying. The menu offers a good variety, and the seafood lovers in our group were quite happy. Service was polite and prompt, and the overall experience was pleasant. If you’re in the area and want to enjoy seafood in a relaxed yet premium atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit.

Place is very nice. Ambience is very good. Service was good. You must know Malayalam to order (it is mandatory). However not all food was good. Maida (all flour) paratha was excellent. Soup was excellent. Remaining all other items are below average. I ordered chicken Biriyani. It is not a Biriyani rather some kind of coloured rice with chicken. Veg curry was bitter. Wheat paratha was not cooked. Overall my experience was below average. Do think before you eat here. I was the only person in the whole restaurant.

The fish was not fresh and upon complaining, was met with gaslighting from the staff. The noodles also seemed off. The steak and Naan was the only good takeaway. Edit for the reply: First and foremost, No option between two fishes were given to us at any point in time, Neither were we informed about it. To address your "80 percent" claim, in a dish containing separate pieces of food served in front of four people we found the fish to be rotten on the second serving for each of us and assuming we did it for material gain or cheating is not just cheap, but outright defamatory. Something noteworthy here is that we had provided the waiter with the fish piece that seemed rotten so that they could see it for themselves. Coming to the point of acceptance of the discount that we so "happily accepted". Your establishment provided us with a 7 percent discount for fish fingers which we did not ask for. We paid the bill as it was, nothing was asked from us on our end. Also, I did not put up a review on the same day as I thought it was an honest mistake and as I mentioned in my review earlier, 3 dishes were to our satisfaction. However, the following day , each one of the four of us who visited got diarrhea. I have nothing against the people working there. Even though the first waiter did not acknowledge our problems properly, the second waiter at the same establishment was kind to us and I appreciate the person's kindness. We came for an outing on my father's birthday. I did not expect my family to be sick the following day. As for your reply, you may take any legal action as you deem fit. I will stand for what I believe is right and what is rightfully owed.

We tried their butter chicken ( ₹ 210 ) and beef fry both are too good !! These was blending well with butter Naan ( costs 45/- ) and Kerala Parotta ( costs 17/-) Coffe costs (35₹) Beef Fry Costs ( 150₹) . I first ordered their Oreo shake, which was a total disappointment, and I will never recommend . It was too much freezing cold, and it doesn’t have any flavour or taste to it !! Then I ordered their chocolate shake, which was a ice cream blended shake which was way better than the previous Oreo shake ✅ it was creamy !! In the case of milkshake. I strongly recommend to go for ice cream shakes 📈rather than the others, which is not that much good. 📉 butter chicken was exceptionally good. The quality was top notch. The gravy was too yummy 💕. They serve warm plates. I recently faced Que length and waiting time in washroom a bit concerning! Overall hotel Akshaya is a best destination for family gatherings.

Very worst experience. We are 12 members travelling to Thrissur from Kannur. We choose Hotel Akshaya for our dinner as per the reviews shown in Google. But literally I am saying this is very worst hotel. All the employees are taking very rudely and no customer care here. We ordered around 2370 rupees food. In that we ordered a quater alfam. But they given a very small piece. We taking to the waiter regarding the quantity and they talk very rudely and unrespectfully. He says they can't provide more than that size. The size of the alfam is just like a chicken pieces in the single Biriyani. While we talking about the price of the alfam they said they don't have enough quantity. Then why they took the order. We ordered butter nan also and that also they didn't provide. After we complaining regarding all these things to the employer he also behave very rudely. After we finished our food when we came out the employer behave very cruel. We came with children's and infants they don't even open the door to the children and the person who is carrying the infant. So we just asked the name of the employers who is assigned to open the door again he misbehaved. There is a employee who is beared,he is the very worst employee of that hotel. So don't choose this hotel. If you people come to Kannur we will show you how to take care a customer. All the human beings are living to eat good food. Hotel Akshaya is always a stopover point during my travel through Thrissur. They have an excellent menu including both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. I have tried many times here with different menu items and haven’t felt bad any time. I was always happy with their service and their food items. Overall, it is a decent experience and can be recommended to all friends and family for a decent meal!

I understand it was a hectic day, but even after calling several waiters for an extra glass, no one came to help. Food: Tried their grilled chicken with spiced rice & sunny-side egg – smoky, tender, and flavorful. The portion size was generous, and presentation was nice. Service: Staff were friendly and polite. Our food was delayed by 10-20 mins. Atmosphere: Open-air setup with umbrellas for shade. They have mosquito repellents placed around, but we still noticed a few mosquitoes in the evening. Conclusion: Tasty food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere – just keep in mind the outdoor nature of the place. It's worth a try 🏞️

l recently visited this café for a birthday function. I had requested them to arrange some decorations, and they did a wonderful job! The setup was beautifully done and created a great atmosphere for the celebration. The team was helpful and attentive, which made the event smooth and enjoyable. We went on a Friday evening as google recommended this place for nearby pizza. Great ambience is all I have to say. Food was very ordinary and so was the service. We went on a rainy day. Staff who was on the front was busy on his phone and least bothered to welcome us! After a weird long conversation we managed to place an order with the staff. We spoke in hindi hoping to make him understand but with very little end result. Ordered 2 pizza and 2 tea (while waiting for pizza) Tea was poor with little taste. Pizza also wasn't the best. Over all a passable one time experience. Yes they have good ambience. But a little friendly staff can take them to higher ratings.

We have tried their hot chocolates,pasta and french fries Burgers (veg&non veg) , chicken breast turned out to be the bestest I have ever tried! Happened to visit this place recently. I thought it was a new venture of the old café management, at the same spot, but was surprised to know, it is an all together new venture, with a new management & owner!! The only problem here, what I felt was a dedicated car parking & an elevator. The ambience was really cool, exactly that of a restocafe. The service in my case, was very pleasant. Thanks to our host, Mr. Abhijith. Their menu seemed very elaborative, simple & had very selective, interesting dishes, some of which were not heard of. A small menu of unique items. I tried their beef loaded fries and guava mojito and I liked both. Good ambience. It's located on the first floor. Price as per standard. Even though a small cafe is a good choice to hang out with friends, families and for small business meets also.

I went to Table 3 for the first time with my friends. Ordered 2 variety dishes and then 3 different drinks. Tried Kabuli Pilaf Bowl and Tandoori Chicken Bruschetta. It was awesome dishes. Then tasted Ocean Blend, Mint & Ginger Slush and Mango Lemonade. Everything was super tasty. Ambiance was superb. This is a nice restaurant where you can hangout with family & friends.

Been meaning to check this place out for quite sometime. Easily accessible location. Very spacious interior. Ordered crumbed chicken, lasagna and the jerk chicken roll up. The food was perfect. The presentation, the taste, the quantity. Watermelon mojito was a first try for me and it was very refreshing. For people who love clicking photos, there is a decorated wall which provides a perfect frame too.

Had lunch here in Thrissur and was impressed by the beautiful ambience and neat, welcoming setup. The service was genuinely good — staff were attentive and polite, which made the experience pleasant. However, when it came to the food, it was a bit underwhelming. Flavours were just average, and I felt it could have been better to match the otherwise great vibe of the place. I recently visited Olan Restaurant in Thrissur and tried their Pidiyum Kozhiyum and Beef Biryani. While the overall experience was good, I did notice a drop in the usual quality of the Pidi. Contrary to my previous visits, it wasn’t as soft and seemed more like a steamed version this time. That said, the flavors were still enjoyable, and the beef biryani was well-cooked and satisfying. Hoping the consistency of the Pidi returns to what it used to be. Still a nice place to dine!

I had the pleasure of dining at Olan, a Kerala restaurant that also serves amazing North Indian dishes—and I was thoroughly impressed. I visited for evening tea, dinner, and breakfast, and each meal was a treat. The evening tea was perfectly brewed and paired with delicious snacks that hit the spot. visited All In restaurant after seeing so many reels and hype online, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When we first ordered, we were told the meals were already finished. We tried ordering other items, but most of the things listed on the menu were “not available” at that time. Finally, we selected a few items that they confirmed were available. After placing the order, they informed us it would take around 40 minutes to prepare. We requested if it could be served within 20–25 minutes, and they agreed. However, after 25 minutes, only one dish was served, and for the next item, we had to wait again. In the end, we cancelled the remaining orders and decided to go to another restaurant. The food we did receive tasted okay, but the availability and service time were very disappointing.

The food is flavourful and the seafood was fresh as well.It is very well priced for the quantity they provide. The service staff is also very prompt and well trained. Will definitely be going back with a larger group to try the other dishes they have to offer

Like so many restaurants in Kerala, when you climb the stairs to access the entrance, you encounter an unpleasant, putrid smell and leaves a poor impression. It’s better once you enter. We were given a limited menu and ordered from that. Meanwhile we saw other tables being served items not featured in the menu that we would have preferred. Upon questioning we were told that they were short staffed and hence wanted to limit ordering options. We ordered the pidiyum beefum & kozhiyum (rice balls in a coconut gravy with a beef and chicken side); these were delicious.. The neymeen tawa fry was alright but overpriced given the size. Incidentally the portion sizes generally were small. The dessert, navarassa murukk ice cream was average and wouldn’t recommend it. Also for a restaurant that positions itself as offering “A Taste of Kerala”, it doesn’t make any sense to offer a Chinese menu. It totally dilutes the image and they are better off sticking to the local cuisine. Overall a positive experience but could do with increased portion sizes.

I had breakfast from here( ground floor). It was about 11am but they still had breakfast items. We had kallappam, chicken stew and egg curry. All in all it was good. The chicken was not soft and I felt that kallappam lacked softness. Today we went for lunch( 1st floor), 9 of us. We had ela sadya, mixed biriyani, seafood platter, porotta, paneer curry, koruvaa fry, fish curry,egg curry etc. Service was good. Ela sadya food was tasty. Fish items r there strong points. When we left, lots of people were queuing up for lunch. On the whole a good culinary experience. On 12May25 ——————- , we had lunch here once again. 2 vegetarian items were stale by 12.45pm. Also the kozhuva fry was lacking in salt. Surprised that no quality checks on the taste of food is done. I hope the management doesn’t get complacent.

The Chicken Biryani was also very good, well-cooked and flavorful. The service deserves a mention too; the staff serve the dishes with care and attention, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. On average, there’s about a 10-minute waiting time, and food preparation takes roughly 20 minutes, which is quite reasonable given the quality.

I had a family gathering here..Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The ambience was cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal. It was quite crowded when I visited, so I had to wait a bit for a seat and for the food to arrive, but overall the experience was very good. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you don’t mind a little waiting during busy hours.

The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting. We tried their Backwoods smoke chicken is one of their most recommended dish. It had a unique flavour and was quite good. I would also suggest their Kozhi uruli roast. We reached at around 6pm, so there wasn’t much waiting time. But by the time we were about to leave, there was quite a crowd outside and a longer waiting time.

Visited Thomsons casa for a casual dinner with my family, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe with soft lighting and elegant décor that immediately sets a relaxing mood. The staff were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Our server patiently explained the chef’s specials and ensured our orders were served promptly, even though the place was quite busy. Every dish was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavour. The prawns were perfectly cooked, and the curry had the right balance of spice and creaminess. The mocktail selection was also refreshing — especially the Mint Cooler. Prices are moderate — about ₹300 per person — which feels fair for the quality and portions served.

I had visited this restaurant two years ago and was truly impressed by their food quality and service. Unfortunately, this recent visit was quite disappointing. The taste and quality of the food have noticeably declined many of the dishes lacked flavor and consistency compared to before. One of the most important concerns was the service. We reached after 3 PM, and it was clear that some of the staff (not all) were visibly tired and disinterested, which reflected in their behavior. Their lack of attentiveness and energy created a negative atmosphere, and I even noticed a few customers leaving without placing orders. Since we didn’t have time to look for another restaurant, we decided to stay. However, we had to remind the staff multiple times to serve our already ordered items. The overall waiting time was too long, and no one informed us that the outside area was also available for seating. A detail that could have helped reduce waiting time. One key point I must highlight is the freshness of the salads which everyone expects to be fresh and clean. However, the salads served were not fresh and didn’t even look presentable. To make matters worse, the pickle was kept open, attracting flies, which raised serious hygiene concerns. It was once one of the best dining spots in Thrissur and I felt it is losing its charm due to poor service and lack of staff training. I sincerely hope they take immediate steps to train their team in customer service and bring back the quality they were once known for. Otherwise, they may risk losing more loyal customer

We tried 3 items(casa dum biriyani, butter naan, kadai chicken and their new special) all was good but not hot (i prefer mine a little hot. I ordered kadai chicken to pair with butter naan. I loved it although naan was a little rubbery like. This was my first time trying naan out. It was onam season hence had a rush when we visited yet we got seated within 30-40 mins. Worth a try

Been a fan of Nahdi Mandi for years and tried the Thrissur outlet for the first time. Ordered a grilled beef mandhi and shawai chicken mandhi. Must say the taste remained consisent and yummy just like all their branches but service was not upto the mark and the place was not very clean. Bearers disappear after taking the order and then had to wait till they show to up to ask for additional orders and refill. People on table next to me were complaining that even order was not taken even after 10 mins. Desert menu needs a revamp too. Finding parking was also another pain. No wheelchair ramp.

Good hotel with AC ❄️. The food served was very tasty & delicious😋 . I tried the Shawaya Mandi, which was mouth-watering, & rice 🍚 was served unlimited. The staff are polite & also speak other languages like Hindi, making it easy for people from other states to communicate. We spent around 1 hour here enjoying the meal. Washrooms are available🚻, & sufficient parking space 🅿️ is provided. Overall, it’s definitely a worthwhile place to visit for a satisfying dining experience. 🌟

They served decent Beef Mandhi. The meat was properly cooked and juicy. Rice was also well-cooked. Prices are reasonable. Wish they also provided more parking space.

The food was very good. We had peri peri and turkish alfaham mandi. The flavouring and juiciness of the chicken was to the point. They stopped serving veggies for salads bcoz of some complaints. Since i m not a big fan of pickled veggies I'm fine with it.

Definitely a good Mandi spot in Thrissur, but the wait time will be a little bit frustrating for some as the restaurant is always crowded. The waiters and staff are helpful and friendly.

I recently dined at Alibaba & 41 Dishes 'n Bab Arabia- Kuttanellur Thrissur and had a truly wonderful experience. the food was absolutely delicious - every dish was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. the variety on the menu catered to different tastes and everything we tried was top notch. The service was just as impressive . the staff were warm , attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal . And the most important Chef Ubaid 'Ur-Rehman has great taste ,he made very delicious food . If you are looking for a place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend you this hotel . can't wait to come back!

Very disappointing experience. We visited Ali Baba & 41 Dishes, Kuttanallur at around 3 PM, and while the ambiance and other facilities were good, the service was extremely poor. We initially ordered Alfaham Mandi, but were told it wasn't available. So we placed an order for Dum Biriyani instead. The staff took the order without informing us of any issues. After waiting for an entire hour, they casually told us that the item was not available due to a shortage of staff (mentioning they didn’t have enough Hindi workers). The manager and staff were completely irresponsible, showing no concern or effort to solve the problem. They didn’t offer an alternative or even a proper apology. Basic customer service was completely missing. Overall, a very bad experience. Not recommended if you're expecting timely service or professional behavior.

Visited Alibaba & 41 Dishes at Kuttanellur and overall had a good experience. The food was tasty and well-prepared, and the ambience was really nice. They also provide hukkah service, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The only drawback was the service – suppliers were a bit slow in serving. Apart from that, it’s a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy good food

The outlet is good, neatly maintained. Service was also good but I felt the quality wasn't that great. Somehow I felt the quality of the Zinger burger was not up to the mark as we have had at other outlets. Burger bun itself didn't look fresh. Same with the case of bucket we had, the chicken was not served hot. Somehow we didn't like both the Zinger burger and chicken.

Disappointing Experience at KFC I recently visited Thrissur KFC(selex mall) outlet and had a disappointing experience. The food I ordered lacked the expected hotness, which was a letdown. Furthermore, the staff's attitude was rude and unfriendly. Additionally, the tables were not properly cleaned, which raised hygiene concerns. The delivery of food took an excessively long time, which added to our frustration. To make matters worse, the hand wash bottles in the restroom were empty, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. I hope KFC will look into this matter and take necessary steps to improve the quality of food, staff behavior, cleanliness, delivery time, and maintenance of basic amenities.

Food was good, but they have lesser combos/dishes now on the affordable side. Looks like very less portion with high prices. Self service. Self ordering kiosks are not working with card pos, as you have to order via kiosk and pay at counter again. However staffs are assistive. Located in selex mall, counter in ground floor and dining on first floor, so that you have to collect food from counter and carry upwards over stairs.

Sometimes food is not upto the mark. Last day chicken wings were not good. It's very hard . Sometimes they don't serve hot may be it's normal to happen but it's not tasty to have that. Great experience at KFC! I tried their Choco Mud Pie (OK), Coffee Mousse Cake (absolutely loved it!), and Chocolate Lava Cake (OK). The real highlight was the friendly staff! Ann Mariya and Amritha always served with a smile, Albin was super nice, and Nithish was attentive when I provided feedback. Kudos to the team for excellent customer service! 4/5 stars for the food, but 5/5 for the service. Can't wait to come back!

Rude Staff – Worst Customer Service Ever I had a terrible experience at Hotel Akshaya. We just asked for a lime juice, and the customer service employee who serves food – an aged, tall man – behaved very rudely. His arrogant tone and disrespectful attitude ruined the entire visit. We were shocked by how badly we were treated for such a simple request. the lime juice we were served was just as bad – watery, tasteless. Terrible service, terrible food. This was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever faced. I will never go back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic courtesy.

I had a very bad experience at Akshaya Hotel, Poothole. The food quality was extremely poor, and shockingly, my daughter vomited after eating from here. This clearly shows a lack of hygiene and safety. When I considered raising this matter with the food authorities, the hotel staff even threatened me instead of taking responsibility. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous. Strict action should be taken against such places. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel for the sake of their health and safety.

We ordered Ghee rice chicken curry and parotta Pepper chicken gravy. But what they served was not ghee rice it was plain fried rice added some ghee over it. Next they brought chicken manjurian gravy and arguing us to believe it's chicken pepper gravy. Went with kids and big disappointment. Told to the cashier that any item is not available just say no instead of bringing something else. Bad experience.

I ordered biryani for Rs. 184. The biryani is delicious. But the quantity of rice is very very less. Why do they cheat people like this?

The beef is just amazing,went there with my cousin's to have lunch the place is really one off, it's different from all the other restaurants which I have seen in that area, and I really don't think that there is any other place which offers such tasty beef, it was really good. I really had a good time there. The place is very clean and tidy it's really good that they maintain it that way. Really loved the food there. If you're looking for a place which is pretty clean this is the place that I'll suggest for them and for the beef lovers out there.

Worst experience ever. We had vegetable fried rice and Schezwan chicken, both were utterly overpowering and pathetic. The fried rice was garnished with too much whole black pepper corn and it was very annoying.The ambience was nice. The passion fruit mojito tasted refreshing. The Schezwan chicken was overpowering with green chilly and ginger. We had to wait for at least 40 min for these two. The overall experience was pathetic.

Had a visit here and the vibe of the place was really great! It felt like a nice spot to hang out. However, the food was just average..it had potential but could definitely be better. The biggest letdown was the quantity of food considering the price we paid..it was way too little. Overall, a decent experience but definitely needs improvement on the food front.

Great cafe with a nice ambience. The lighting and the properties set within the cafe will take you to a Shakespearean era of theatres blended with a conventional European bar counters. Food is also great especially their burgers. The authentic taste is served with great care. The staffs are courteous and polite. Parking is restricted and and need to park on the road side.

My favorite cafe in Thrissur. Their food, ambience and service are top notch. They have a beautiful comfy ambience and well planned interiors. Tried so many items from this place and everything was awesome. Their pleasant customer service also appreciable. The shezwan noodles, cheesy fries and beef cheese burger highly recommended! Edit :- went there last week, their creamy chicken fries definitely a must try! Chicken Caesar salad was good. Loaded beef fries was a disappointment.

It's probably the best places to chill as well as have good food. The way the have set everything is just nice. The food is just awesome and to my preference. I'm in love with the Cheesy chicken fries and the Belgium choco shake. My second preference in shakes would be the Nutella shake. Another dish I liked is Dragon Chicken. It's a pretty peaceful place that I'd go often.

The Cafe Shakespeare is wonderful place to hangout with friends and family. The ambience is amazing. Delicious food and excellent service. Beverages category is average. The pricing is affordable. I’d love to visit the place again.

Very rude behaviour by their staff, ordered chicken fried rice, but they gave empty briyani, when i ask , they created rowdism issues by closing the gate. Then as they cant do anything against me, they opened the gate, never ever go to this restaurant. Zero stars. Going to file a legal suit , all the three persons in this pictures are actually rowdies

The atmosphere is good. They have two dining spaces front and back but if we want to go to back dining space we need to cross the wash area and toilet area. The food they serve is good, the attitude is also good.

A decent restaurant for seafood items. Ambience was nice and is a great feeling to spent time here at evening and night time. Food taste was ok and service was good. Price is a bit on the higher side. But considering the less availability of seafood restaurants in thrissur it is adjustable. Parking space is available. Seating capacity is good. Fish Bites is a restaurant placed on the Highway Near Marathakkara. Trissur. An average restaurant where you can get mostly fish based food. Varal fry found good but butter chicken was not fresh and without butter. Any way you can have bite with family on a holiday.

A very good find on the way from Cochin to Thrissur. True blue blood sea food restaurant. Very good taste, hygiene and beautifully done interiors. Very rustic look carefully done. The fish varieties are awesome as I'm sharing the menu. Right on the highway with ample car parking. Highly recommended.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Chicking I recently visited Chicking Shobha City, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. Let me break down the aspects that stood out as the worst: 1. Taco Nightmare: The taco I ordered was a complete disaster. It was stale, with soggy shells and an inexplicable lack of filling. It tasted like a sad attempt at Mexican cuisine gone wrong. 2. Shrimp Nuggets Disaster: Moving on to the shrimp nuggets, they were equally appalling. The nuggets were overcooked, rubbery, and lacked any discernible flavor. It felt like biting into a piece of cardboard with a hint of seafood essence. 3. Coke Catastrophe: As if the food wasn't bad enough, the quality and quantity of the Coke I ordered were abysmal. It was watered down to the point where it barely resembled Coke, and to add insult to injury, the serving size was laughably small. Overall, Chicking managed to disappoint on every front, from the tasteless food to the subpar beverages. Save your money and your taste buds by avoiding this establishment at all costs.

I had to change my review, this time when I visited this place I had a bad experience. I got smaller pieces than before, instead of two big pieces they gave one leg piece and normal piece. Previous time I got two big pieces for less price. Quality of food also got reduced. When I asked they said they only give like this. This is pure exploitation by this restaurant. No value for money paid.

North Indian simple vegetarian dishes. Had paratha and potato sabji.was very good. Very reasonable price. Not recommended if you are looking for kerala or south Indian meals.

Tried four chicken biryanis from this place, but honestly, not worth the ₹210 each. The chicken pieces were super disappointing just one bony piece and a small leg. At that price, they should at least give decent quantity and quality. Definitely not coming back here again.

Food was ok. Taste was good, but the quantity of Biriyani was too low for the amount we pay. For the price of 190 Rs, we get very low quantity and the taste was average. The fried rice we ordered taste good but next day few of us felt illness related to gastro-stomach related issues and we suspect the food we had. The service of the staff was very good.

The incharge of the hotel one guy is so disrespectful and directly told me that online Booking is not allowed when their hotel is listed on MakeMyTrip app. These kinds of people should be expelled. We had our lunch from this hotel on 26/07/2025. We had full chicken biriyani. The quantity was too less for 190 rupees.. Not only that after taking biriyani all of us suffered from diarrhea & other stomach problems on next day...If you are running a hotel check the quality of food too... My 4 year old was also affected by your low quality food.. Who knows how many days old chicken you served us....

The restaurant was fine. I ordered beef biriyani cause I was curious why it was cheaper than chicken biriyani but then when it came I understood why it was cheap. The quantity of the rice is very less it was just like a snack but the quantity of beef was good and the taste was also good just needed a lil bit more rice. Mutton biriyani had only 2 pieces but there was a lot of rice so they didn't get sufficient pieces and had to eat plain rice at last. It's okay okay.

I find Hotel Jaya Palace overrated. I had fried rice from there on 3rd May and I couldn’t finish it due to the taste of it. Yesterday I ordered Chicken Biriyani after attending sample fireworks and i am down with food infection now. i’m not sure how i will leave home. I recently went to Burger Hub and ordered the Ginger Lime Tortilla Shawarma. There are seats on the first floor. reasonable number of seats. Delicious shawarma with a great flavour and a respectable quantity. Have to try

it's located on the first floor and it offers some privacy, peace and quiet if you're into that sort of thing. along with some really good burgers. but do try their charcoal shawarmas as well because they're really good with a smoky flavour to them.

I love their cheese burgers. They also use mayo in their cheese burgers to make it more juicy. I went for their classic cheese beef burger. The patties were tender and juicy,all held together nicely in a paper envelope, trapping all the luscious flavor in. It wouldn't be complete without their mayonnaise to smoother all this goodness into reach new level filth.This burger was an absolute beauty.Probably the best tasting one in the town.Their classic cheese chicken burger also tasted great. Me and my family decided to try burgers at this place but were very disappointed with the taste. We ordered chicken zinger burger and chicken sandwich but there was so much mayo in the burger that it completely overwhelmed the taste of the burger. The over use of mayo made the burgers so sloppy that it was getting difficult to eat holding them in our hands. We felt very uneasy in our tummies after the experience. I don’t understand why keralites are so obsessed with mayonnaise! It’s almost used in every other fast food!

I visited this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. We went in for tea, and the staff’s attitude was not welcoming. The Chicken Kothu Parotta was the worst I’ve had—poor taste, overpriced at ₹130, and barely any chicken. The entrance has a foul-smelling bathroom, which ruins the first impression. I was a regular customer of guesto when I was working at Thrissur. Then the food was good. I recently went to this place after 2 years and found that ownership had changed and went on to try the hyped kalyana biriyani. Hype is not worth. I think it costs Rs above 500. Regretted after getting the bill. Could have tried normal C.B which may cost for 2 around 400 only. Kalyana biriyani is just the normal biriyani with some beef and fish fry kept on the side of the plate. The chicken portion is also less.

It was the same worst experience for the second time. We ordered 1 chicken biriyani and qrtr manthi at the same time. After 20 mnts they served biriyaani. I just started eating slightly. Until I finished the biriyani they couldn't serve the manthi. Till then my wife was looking at me and she also ate little biriyani frm my plate. That was a relief . When it comes to food, I had high expectations and unfortunately they couldn't deliver it. We ordered some roti ,Korean chicken and lollipop chicken and juices. The lolipop chicken was terrible and burnt but the other things were fine. But I would still recommend this place bcz the owner or manager was courteous and was welcoming, hopefully the food gets better. *Note to the owner* : as an architect, I would like to let you know that place feels very cramped and dark, bcz of low ceiling, alot of partitions and dim lights. Either add proper lighting or remove the physical partitions.

One of the best tasty hangout place in Thrissur town. Very easy to access but hard to find because of the underground building structure. Very short entrance that too cannot easily found out from crowd. No parking space. No wheelchair entrance, full of steps to underneath. Have a neat little waiting area with good feel furnishings. Amazing lighted ambience inside the dining area. Hardly 15 minutes of waiting time.. good behaviour from Bengali staffs. Small and bit difficult to notice washroom. Not much crowded in evenings. Very much satisfied with both veg n non items. Tasty and less cost comparing with same kinda restaurants in town. They have amazing menus and perfect less cost Combo menus. Have live music and LED TV facilities for live entertainments. Highly recommended. Won't make u sad.

A good restaurant on the highway. Ambience wise, its pretty good. The Huts will give a good experience for family dinners. The place is normally crowded over weekend evenings. They have a very good parking space as well. There is a party hall as well which can accommodate a small function pretty well. Food felt average, price is reasonable.

Well restaurant is good. However I went there few days back, they have hut kind of things outside the restaurant, it's like private kind of seating, there is only one dinging table with 8 chairs, looks quite impressive. But in the hot climate there was only one wall fan, which didn't help. It was damn hot. Restaurant itself was closed and food was served only in the huts. Don't know why. Food quality is good nothing of next level, but not bad. Quantity is just ok, not too much and not very less. Pricing wise also it's ok. There is ample parking area, which is a good thing.

The restaurant might not come off as highly attractive for strict vegetarians, so to speak. Wash area needs major improvement in hygiene. They have major fly problem.
