Restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque Baguio City, Oh My Gulay stands out as a must-visit vegetarian restaurant that celebrates the region's bountiful produce. This charming eatery is perched atop a hill along Session Road, providing diners with breathtaking views of the city and its majestic mountains. The ambiance is uniquely captivating, featuring forest-inspired decor that reflects Baguio's artistic spirit through wooden sculptures and recycled crafts.
This has been the BEST RESTAURANT we have visited in Baguio. At first we were skeptical that it was on the top floor on a building without an elevator. However, the climb was super worth it! The interior was AMAZING! It was like entering a fairy's house. The view was great and the food tasted like a home made meal that my grandfather used to make. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Baguio.
Christine T — Google review
The place is truly unique, with a relaxing ambiance that feels like a garden restaurant right on the top floor along Session Road. From here, you get a great view of the street and nearby buildings. The staff are warm and accommodating, and the food is both healthy and delicious. If you’re into vegetarian dishes, this is definitely the spot for you! The serving sizes are generous and worth the price.
Checkerra C — Google review
You'll love this veggie haven located in Session Road! Delicious eats, generous servings, and artistic ambiance. Plus, the panoramic view everyone loves. 10/10 would recommend. I spent only ₱400+ for 2 meals and a cup of coffee. I want to highlight their servings — I didn't expect that their servings per meal would look like a meal for 2 persons😅They indeed exceeded my expectation, though. Kudos to this restau. Also, please note that their coffee is only black coffee but they provide milk & sugar if you want to make it sweet.
Elishia B — Google review
I was not expecting the place to be this big and whimsical, a total surprise! I ordered their Walastik Bistek and for all honesty, it was decent. The taste is light in sweetness very far from the bistek I would enjoy. First, I wish it had acidity, it is missing that punchy calamansi flavor. Also, a little bit saltiness would be appreciated. The vegi meat and tofu absorbs their generous sauce, however, this caused it to be soggy. Perhaps they need to control the sauce to avoid this. In addition, since it becomes soggy and mushy, I hope they can consider adding some texture to it, perhaps, make the garlic crispy instead, for some crunch and also enhance the flavor. Also, adding fresh onion rings could improve it, just like how most of us cook our bistek. Also, the egg is really unnecessary, while I appreciate them for making my money's worth, the fried egg is redundant, it is a big portion and the egg does not elevate the dish at all. The dayap juice was refreshing. The banana and peanut butter crepe was enjoyable, you cannot get wrong with that. I went there for lunch and it was packed, I could clearly say they were understaffed, the waiter was struggling climbing those stairs to attend to everyone and the bill took too long for them to get, it took me 4x to ask 3 different waiters. At the end, although it was not much, I left and did not get my change, because I realized that it may take another 10-20min just to get my change🤣. Overall, it is a good place for some vegetarian food and the art decors.
Jerecca J — Google review
I visited this place a couple of times after it was recommended by a staff member at the hotel where I was staying. Honestly, it was just okay. The servings are huge—each dish is good for 2 to 3 people. If you're visiting with someone and both of you aren't big eaters, ordering one dish is more than enough. There's really no need to get more because you probably won’t finish it. The food isn’t strictly plant-based, so if you’re health-conscious or following a clean diet, I’d actually recommend going to Green Smoothie instead—the food there is more flavorful, plant-focused, and guilt-free. As for Oh My Gulay, the place itself is quite charming. It's located on the top floor of a building, but take note—there's no elevator or escalator, so be prepared for a bit of a climb, especially if you're not used to stairs. The interior has a cozy, homey feel—like you’re dining at someone’s artistic bohemian home—and the ambiance is definitely Instagram-worthy. The staff are attentive, and the prices are pretty affordable. One of the best parts? The view. From the terrace, you get a beautiful, panoramic look at Baguio—perfect for relaxing while you enjoy your meal.
Van's A — Google review
5 star rating for this restaurant. The place is super artsy and not your typical aesthetic, artsy look. The vibe is like walking into some Filipino mythical kingdom. And with a city view, you can feel almost feel like some mythical being peeking into the city. Food is great, and it definitely doesn't taste super vegan/vegetarian with interesting names as well. Although the hot chocolate was a bit underwhelming. Service is good, staff are friendly, and gladly recommends dishes. Serving time is also fast. Oh My Gulay ought to be in your to eat place in Baguio.
Crystallene R — Google review
Highly recommended for vegetarians and those who like artsy ambience. The restaurant is like a mini museum and has an almost ghibli like aesthetic. The food servings are generous and prices are reasonable. My favourite is the lumpia asian salad and the waldorf like salad. The staff are friendly and efficient at the same time. It is just a bit tricky to find since it is located on the top floor inside a commercial building.
Ids — Google review
The place itself is worth a visit. Delicious vegetarian choices. Tried Sisig (which is Tofu), Putanesca, and OMG Salad, lime iced Tea and lemonade, in generous portions. Be careful though because the climb is a bit steep and some areas inside are low ceiling.

Greek restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled on Outlook Drive, Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna is Baguio's premier destination for authentic Greek cuisine. Chef Takis, a native of Athens, brings the flavors of Greece to life with a tantalizing menu featuring classic dishes infused with Greek essence. The restaurant offers an inviting al-fresco dining experience, allowing guests to savor their meals while soaking in the breathtaking scenery of Baguio.
Had dinner at Lemon and Olives Green Taverna, which was a pleasant walk from Baguio Country Club though taking a Grab is a smart option. The restaurant has a great vibe and we were lucky to arrive early enough to get seats at the veranda where the cool weather made the experience even better. We started with the Evia Salad with pomegranate pearls, dried Greek figs, walnuts, and feta cheese tossed with mixed greens and a sweet balsamic reduction. This was a standout and something I’d definitely order again. I had the Beef Souvlaki Plate served with pita bread, fries, and garlic, chili, and tzatziki dips. The flavor was alright though the beef was a bit chewy, so I’d probably try a different main next time. The chicken version was good though. We also ordered the hummus from their mezze selection which was good and served with warm pita bread. Overall, Lemon and Olives is a must-visit in Baguio with a relaxing ambiance and plenty on the menu to come back for.
Erwin P — Google review
We’ve dined here three times already, and the food never disappoints. The lamb chops are especially worth coming back for, and the whole menu from appetizers to dessert is consistently delicious. However, the service needs improvement. A server gave a smug look when we asked for additional orders, our plates were cleared while we were still eating, and dessert was placed on a dirty table instead of wiping it first. These details matter and can take away from an otherwise great dining experience.
Beverly R — Google review
We went here on a Sunday. Good thing we arrived early, around 11 a.m., when the place wasn’t crowded yet. We were able to choose our own table. I really missed eating Mediterranean cuisine, so I ordered my all-time favorites from when I was in Saudi: the Moussaka, Hummus with pita bread, and Baklava for dessert (best paired with tea, so I ordered lemon ginger tea to go with it). I also tried their chicken souvlaki, which tasted somewhat similar to chicken kebab but lighter in spices—and it was delicious too. The servings were generous, enough for two persons. By 12 noon, there was already a queue of people waiting to dine, so I’m glad we came early and had time to enjoy both the view and the food. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit Baguio.
Mary M — Google review
Can't go wrong with anything you pick from their menu! All delish! Great ambiance too! We stayed not far from it so we were there everyday either brunch, lunch or dinner.
Jess Z — Google review
The reviews are real, this is a great place to hang out. There's a few parking outside, not crowded at 7am. People started to come at around 9am. I love the pesto eggs! My husband was surprised there's non-blood pinuneg in the breakfast platter. Free brewed coffee with breakfast. And yeah, the view is great! Pastries are the best too! Loved the pecan tart!
Girlie U — Google review
My go-to order here will always be the Souvlaki Plate, especially with the beef, chicken, and lamb combination — highly recommended! I loved their Greek yogurt too! The Chicken Kebab and Grilled Tuna are just okay in terms of flavor, but the portions are generous. The beautiful view adds to the overall experience and makes the ambiance even better.
Zof — Google review
There was a bit of a wait before we got a table which was also because we were a big group of 11. We ordered a lot, and I wasn’t able to note down or take pics of everything. Here are some of the items we ordered: Grilled Octopus ₱320 Pita Hummus ₱200 Zucchini Chips ₱400 Moussaka ₱660 Mediterranean Pasta ₱640 Lamb ₱5200 Iced Latte ₱170 Greek Coffee ₱200 Ekmek ₱180 Dine date: March 2025
Therese C — Google review
The pastries are really good! 🥐 The view from the veranda was beautiful with the serene sight of trees and nearby mountains adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a place in Baguio that’s not too crowded. ☺️ Even better, enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate while it rains makes the experience extra cozy and memorable.

Café by the Ruins is a beloved establishment that captures the hearts of both locals and visitors alike. Nestled amidst the remnants of a garden theater from World War II, this charming café offers an enchanting al fresco dining experience steeped in history. The rustic atmosphere complements its menu, which features traditional Filipino dishes reimagined with local ingredients.
Stepping into Café by the Ruins felt like walking into a living canvas—walls whispering stories, food plated like poetry, and coffee brewed with soul. Every bite was comfort laced with artistry, from their signature bread to bowls that carried flavors of Baguio’s roots. The ruins don’t just hold history—they hold warmth, a space where creativity, community, and cuisine sit together at the table.

Finally got to the dine on this top rated restaurant in Baguio after 3 attempts On my last 3 attempt, twice was because there was a long queu in the waiting list already, the other attempt was we were already seated but took 40-50mins. And our order is still not served so we walk away. So when i got back in Baguio we tried to go super early. There was no one outside waiting and so many empty seats inside, but we were still told to wait - a clear sign this restaurant really lacks manpower. Hope we can call out the owner for this. Recommend going here super early in the morning like 7am. Food - the reviews were very true, everything we ordered tastes good and healthy. Even the coffee was superb with classic local sweetener and not your usual commercialized white sugar. Your order also comes with fresh fruits Price - little bit pricey on the side but definitely worth it. Ambiance - very homey and laidback. Staff - courteus and helpful ** TIP - if your coming here and already hungry, eat somewhere else. Timing and patience is key. They are understaffed so bring a little more kindness to them.
Lenlen — Google review
Café by the Ruins used to be one of my favorite spots in Baguio, but my recent visit was a bit disappointing. The food tastes quite different compared to a year ago, and there have been a lot of menu changes even the bread isn’t the same anymore. The place still has that rustic charm, but perhaps because of the rainy weather, there was a damp smell inside.

Cozy café with a lovely garden ambiance, perfect for a laid-back meal. Here’s what we ordered: - Longganisa Meal: 2/5 - Tapa Meal; 3.5/5 - Batchoy: 3.5/5 - Service: 5/5 all staff are very accommodating and friendly, special shout out to Danny, his warm and attentive service made the meal taste better! Worth visiting for the view, atmosphere and service, though the food could be improved
CL S — Google review
It’s been a while since I last visited Baguio, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Café by the Ruins now has a branch right in the city center. The location is convenient, the space is roomy, and it gives off a laid-back, casual dining vibe. As expected, the crowd picks up during peak hours, so lining up for a table is pretty common. During my visit, I tried their suman with chocolate (which I really enjoyed!) and their champorado, which for me could use a bit more flavor. Service was on the slower side, but hopefully that improves over time. Overall, it’s still a nice spot to check out if you’re craving the Café by the Ruins experience without heading too far out.
Rodel F — Google review
Recommended for customers who wants to have their meal after a walk in the park. Second floor balcony is ideal for people who love to people watch. Food is locally sourced and they have seasonal menu.
Jeza R — Google review
I went here for dinner together with my family on our last night in Baguio. We really loved the food. We ordered their baguio bagnet, kare-kare and a pasta. The staff were all approachable too. The food just took quite a long time to be served. But overall it was a good dining experience.
Cecille C — Google review
Finally able to dine here. We were planning to eat initally at Goodtaste at Otek but the queue is very long. Checked nearby areas and surprised that cafe by the ruins is just a walking distance away. We were 11th on the waiting list but able to get a table for 2 after 10mins wait. The area has lots of artworks! Most are for sale also. The lights are functional sculpture/art pieces also. We ordered the mountain and river salad - solo. The size is actually good enough as an appetizer for 2. 1st time to try a salad with watercress and grilled shiitake mushroom- super sulit! We had the vegetarian ravioli also. Not sure if it's a mainstay on the menu but it's also quite good. And the last one is the rice meal with bamboo shoots, ham, chicken. Tried to check the menu online but can't find it. It seems they update their menu every few months. Another reason to visit this place again.

Restaurant
Vizco's Restaurant & Cake Shop is a family-owned establishment in Baguio City that has been serving delicious meals and offering a wide variety of cakes for over 40 years. However, it is most renowned for its delectable Strawberry Shortcake, made with locally sourced strawberries from Atok, Benguet. The light strawberry chiffon cake is topped with creamy semi-sweet icing, fresh strawberry bits, and sweet syrup.
Actually the branch that we went to was in SM Baguio and not Session Road. Anyway… I think the portion was reasonable for the price. I love the cake as always. I also love the salad, fish fillet, and all the drinks that we ordered. The salisbury steak was okay, and the half and half pasta was 👎🏻 I would not recommend it. The branch in SM Baguio was hot as we went this April. They should add more fans or ACs. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Rose M — Google review
Had breakfast here after sunday mass in Baguio Cathedral. Breakfast was standard silog meals 🫶 and we also tried their baked rice which was good too. The drinks for me was just okay. Also ordered the famous and fast selling Strawberry shortcake, which was yummy and not too sweet!
Andrea — Google review
If you’re looking for coffee that will keep you awake all day, this is the place to go! Their coffee is so strong that no matter how much creamer or sugar you add, it still packs a punch. At sa sobrang tapang, kaya ka nyang ipaglaban! Hahaha! Definitely heart-palpitations-level strong! Good thing their iced tea is smooth and refreshing—it’s really delicious! As for their rice meals, they’re decent enough, but considering the price, they’re a bit expensive. This restaurant really seems more geared toward tourists who get all excited when they see the famous strawberry shortcake from Vizco’s. But for someone like me who’s from Baguio, it just feels like an ordinary spot that highlights Baguio as a food destination.

we had breasfast on our last day in our baguio trip. love the food, it was served really hot and didn't take too long to arrive. 290php for their german sausage is bit much but it was good. the strawberry latte is okay, nothing special but the starwberry shortcake is simple but delicious. looking forward to be here again. staff is also nice 🩷🌱✨

Chicken Caesar Salad - I think they used Lady’s Choice caesar salad dressing. Only greens in the salad was lettuce. But i like how crispy they were. Rating: 4/10 Strawberry shortcake - not too sweet and very fresh strawberries. Rating: 9/10 Hot Green Tea with lemon and honey - they gave me all the ingredients and i had to be the one to mix them all. I was expecting it to already be mixed and ready to drink when served. Rating: 3/10 Dining area: solo-dine friendly, ambient lighting, clean and non-slippery floor. Rating: 9/10 Customer service: very friendly. Only waited 5 mins till i got one of my orders served. Rating: 8/10

Pomodoro pasta is swimming in oil and didn't have any flavor, tangy chicken nothing special the sauce had no flavor, carbonara is way too overpriced for something that tastes like knorr chicken powder, tastes like 150php instead of 320php. The ambiance is so so, they tried to fit too many tables in a small space. Staff is service is okay
Kazuo M — Google review
Food’s really great here esp their strawberry shortcake! The way how we want our eggs to be cooked was just not followed accordingly. But overall this place is highly recommended esp for breakfast meals.

Went here for my birthday. Was about to go to Sagada and figured why not since I dreamed of having their Strawberry Shortcake for so long. The staff are nice, especially the guard and servers. The dessert met my expectations. I was all smiles while eating. They have card payment. Will definitely come back to try their other cakes! 😁❤️🙏🏽

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Baguio, Hill Station is a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience. This charming restaurant has earned accolades as one of the most romantic spots in the city, making it an ideal choice for a special date night or even a memorable wedding celebration. With its rustic wooden architecture and enchanting decor, Hill Station offers not just ambiance but also an impressive menu that features both Continental and Asian cuisine.
My first time at this restaurant in Baguio. It was highly recommended by friends for its good food. We ordered soup, salad and mains. And yes, they were all good. We took home some frozen items from the deli and strawberry jams. The restaurant is located at the basement of a 1908 building which is also a hotel. We parked along the street in front of the establishment. But they do have a parking lot at the back of the property. It would be wise also to call and reserve before going.
Travel T — Google review
Dining at Hill Station is always such a treat! The food and service have remained consistently excellent through the years, which is why we keep coming back. The staff are warm and personal, making every visit special. I usually order the Steak and Salmon, but this time I tried the Roast Beef—and it was outstanding! Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. This is also our second time celebrating my husband’s birthday here, and both times they greeted him warmly and even surprised him with a treat. Truly one of Baguio’s best dining experiences!

Great Value, Great Vibe! This spot is a fantastic find! The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced—a rare combo these days. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and satisfying without breaking the bank. What really sets it apart is the ambiance. The lighting is warm, the music is pleasant, and the decor is stylish yet comfortable. It has a relaxed, inviting feeling that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere without the hefty price tag! If you tell me the name of the place and the type of food, I can make the review more specific!

It was pouring rain that day, and I went in just to take shelter. Unexpectedly, I ended up at a great restaurant. What I liked the most was the drinks — they were absolutely delicious. The dining environment was also very comfortable.

The staff was gracious and accommodating. I was seated very quickly despite the restaurant being full. Then, without asking or even expecting it, I was told they could move me to a window seat. Which they did. The house margarita I was told was made from scratch which is the only reason I ordered it. I asked for it less sweet. But it came as a thick, lemon syrup. Shame. The Thai seafood curry was excellent though there were far more clam shells than clams. Highly recommend go-to in Baguio
Rich G — Google review
It’s my second time in this resto and I’d say that there fil-spanish dishes are so good, i so loved their callos and gambas, we also ordered their backribs, mixed seafood curry and calamares which was good as well. So sad that we werent able to try their paella due to longer waiting time approx 1 hour, the place is nice and homy as well, location is very much familiar as it is just a walking distance from sm baguio. A must visit also whenever you plan to go up north. ☺️

I feel a little let down. It’s been a while since I ate here and remembered that I enjoyed it back then but this time around it felt a little lackluster. The food is good, their hot choco was a little tasteless… I feel like I didn’t really get the value for my money. I enjoyed it but was a little disappointed. It was still beautiful though! We came in for breakfast so there were maybe 3 other groups. Our server was a little short with us, giving one-worded answers and didn’t let us finish our questions, but he probably was having a bad day. Every other worker I got to talk to were polite so might have been a coincidence. Hope next time I come visit would be more enjoyable 😅

Cozy dining experience. May bread sila na free, while waiting sa mga orders. Really love their Slow Roast Beef, super tender and yum. I had the lechon kawali with laing and sobrang crunchy ng balat ng pork. Recommended rin ang Death by Chocolate. Service was fast at first but it took us 20 minutes to get our bill last night. Staff are nice and approachable naman. They just need to check the dining area always lalo pag maraming tao.

Foggy Mountain Cookhouse, located in Baguio City, is a cozy restaurant founded by Chef Babes. The menu offers a diverse selection of comfort food, including Filipino classics and international favorites, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced locally. What sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to using fresh produce from the area. The restaurant's location provides one of the best views in Baguio City, with a picturesque setting and cool foggy air adding to its rustic charm.
I went to Foggy Mountain Cookhouse in late April 2024. As an American traveling to the Philippines for the first time it was complicated but well worth the complexity of getting there. For foreigners trying to dine here there are some things you must know. The accessibility of the place is somewhat limited in terms of parking. The day you plan to go I recommend taking a taxi. There are many reputable taxi services in Baguio available on Facebook. Facebook is also how you will make your reservation and order in advance. It is a policy to order in advance to ensure availability. At least the time of year I went. It was not exactly tourist season so my date and I were the only ones in the restaurant. It was really lovely, it was as if I had rented out the whole place to ourselves. We were greeted by our waiter and he showed us to a table outside with a great view of the mountain. As the evening carried on the fog rolled in and soon it was just us. Although the view is less impressive in the fog it is still very beautiful seeing the lights from the adjacent mountain. Some mosquitoes came out and the waiter was very accommodating and put out two cups with about 15 mosquito incense sticks to repel them. We were given a buzzer to ring our waiter to take orders or ask for anything specific. I was at first a little confused but to make a long story short, after our dinner we learned that Chef Babes was on Vacation and his Sous Chef was both our Chef and Waiter. He was absolutely incredible and he cooked everything to perfection. I would love to come again to have some of Chef Babes food, but what we had was hands down the best meal I have had in my life. We had an appetizer of spaghetti, my date got the Steak cooked medium well and I got the Lamb Shank. The Lamb was one of the most tender and succulent pieces of meat that I have ever had. The mix of flavors in the sauce were absolutely incredible too. The Steak was also very good but if I go back I am getting that lamb every time. It was the first time I ever had lamb too so if you are considering it, I encourage you. This was the first time I had Cheese Ice cream in the Philippines, I had no idea about it before coming here and it was really delicious with the bacon, I LOVED it! The Strawberry Icecream is a classic there too. Being Baguio the strawberries are the best in the world. I am a strawberry hater in the U.S. but they are so amazing in Baguio. The pricing is expensive for a dish in the Philippines but this place has food that rivals the best restaurants I’ve been to in America, including Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Taken that into account it’s amazing value for money. This place is truly a Diamond in Baguio and I hope I can return someday. Thank You Po 🙏

Very good food. Good atmosphere. I also appreciated the cook coming out to me to check on how I liked the food. Would highly recommend.

The place is/was an actual home turned restaurant, so the homey vibe is there... It was cozy and relaxing... just tranquil. The service was AMAZING and VERY HOSPITABLE. We ordered the following: 1. Steamed White Clams -- simple yet savory🥄🥄🥄🥄 2. Pasta with Smoked Salmon -- you can really taste the dill and smoked salmon🥄🥄🥄🥄 3. Cookhouse made Fries -- this was our favorite, we didn't need any dip whatsoever, had to reorder coz we totally enjoyed this 🤩😍🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 4. Mashed Potato -- 2nd fave after the cookhouse fries 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 5. Cookhouse Lemon Iced Tea -- houseblend INDEED 🤩😍🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 6. Premium Artisan Ice Cream - Caramel/Vanilla with candy sprinkles, honeycomb crunch and topped with Cherries -- it looked your usual ice cream, BUT, the taste was really premium than your usual ice cream.🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 There was a tiny mishap though, coz I placed my order of Porchetta as our Main, and i was on the idea that the orders have already been confirmed, hence, i wondered why i was being asked for my orders again when i got there (which had some misinformation listed) and i didnt notice that the Porchetta wasnt listed coz we were preoccupied by the view of the place (being its our first time going there)... BUT... I let that slide coz what was served to us was all really amazing... but i hope that order placing process gets improved moving forward. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄 Adding this as one of my Baguio Favorites to dine in... 🫰🫰🫰 And WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK to try their other dishes 😍😍😍

Foggy Mountain was the perfect setting for my early birthday celebration last night! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with each dish impressing us with its unique flavors and presentation. The smoked salmon crostini was a refreshing and savory start to the meal, while the crispy squid fries were a delightful combination. The grilled boneless lamb was cooked to perfection, and the chipotle pork chop was a highlight of the evening, with its bold and smoky flavors. Paired with a glass of Cookhouse Rosé and Premium Cookhouse Red Wine, our meal was elevated to new heights. To finish, we indulged in the decadent cheese and bacon ice cream, a sweet and indulgent treat that left us both in awe. I was just hoping to have seen Koshka (resident cat). Sadly, the cat passed away. And of course, to have seen Chef Babes and thanked him for squeezing us in our last-minute reservation would've completed our experience. Overall, Foggy Mountain did not disappoint, and we left feeling grateful for the wonderful evening we shared.

Overall, we had a great experience. FOOD: We ordered Chipotle Pork Chop (for 2), Steamed White Clams (for 2), Crispy Squid & Fries (for 1). My favorite was the crispy squid. White clams were also delicious, the soup/sauce had a gingery taste which which was nice. Least we liked was the chipotle pork chop, it tasted ordinary for the price. The serving of our orders were just right for 3 pax. AMBIANCE: when we came, it was literally foggy. But when the fog subsided, you have a nice mountain view. The restaurant was literally the house of the owner, so it was very cozy and homey. SERVICE: Great service overall. The server was nice and courteous. The chef even asked to check how the food was. It is required to pre-order so when we arrived, the food ready in a few minutes (not much waiting time). OTHERS: You have to reserve and pre-order via Messenger or text. The restaurant is pet friendly. There is parking inside but road was sloped up, quite limited but seems to have road parking available outside. Will definitely try other dishes next time. :)

It was a very hearty dinner! Every dish was perfect on its own! I loved the tiny crunchy chick peas. Parking is enough on its driveway. We went here during valentine's, we just didn't feel the v-day vibes since it was very quiet despite the number of guests, no centerpiece etc. Nonetheless it was a good experience.

Salmon tartare was fresh but overseasoned? The porchetta - bland, quite tough. Skin is bot crispy? Lamb was ok for me but the others said it was delicious. My favorite would be the squid and fries. Went here on a weekday lunch. (We were the only customers) You have to contact them prior for reservation & pre ordering
Marc M — Google review
Foggy eats 🍴 The way this place priced their food can't really deliver the quality you are expecting or maybe i just expect a little bit more. The lamb over mashed potatoes & green peas tasted like a regular estofado dish that we cook regularly at home but the thing is its all about the sauce and they lose the essence of that lamb. Not what I had in mind. Their prime ribeye steak on the other hand was tough, i think its a local beef if im not mistaken. Anyone who can cook a steak can do better. Try it for yourself! 😊 This Foggy place is a 2.1 🍎 out of 5 on the scale! 😁 #SolidFoodie🍎

Located in Baguio City, The Original Good Taste Cafe & Restaurant is a popular 24/7 Chinese fast food chain offering affordable family-style lauriat dishes, rice toppings, and various desserts. This restaurant is known for its food court-style setup that can accommodate large groups of people standing in line for lunch and dinner. It's a great spot for affordable late-night eats or take-out for a picnic.
We went here for a dinner and raining during the night of July. We ordered their famous chicken along with some tofu. We didn’t expect that the chicken would have a big serving. The taste of the chicken is like the chicken spicy of intramuros walls. It is savory but not that spicy. The breading is thick which was filled with sauce and so very good to partner with rice. The cheesecake we ordered as dessert was not that distinct. They can improve the cakes. At the end we decided to take out our chicken and paid extra 25 pesos for a quality microwaveable container.
Duchess A — Google review
Big servings, super worth it for the price! The buttered chicken and crispy pata are both really good — crispy outside, juicy inside. Pancit also hits the spot. Only downside — the line’s really long, so if you’re hungry, be ready to wait (and maybe snack a little before coming)
Eddy W — Google review
We headed straight here after arriving from the terminal and got to the place around 2 PM. We were informed by the waitress that orders typically take about 45 minutes to an hour—and that held true. We were extremely hungry and had to wait quite a while, so when the food finally arrived, we devoured it right away. The building looks quite old and a bit run-down, but it’s clearly a busy spot with a steady flow of people coming in and out. Despite the crowd, the staff weren’t very welcoming or attentive. It took some effort to get assistance, and unless you called them over or waved for attention, they seemed to overlook you. As for the food, it wasn’t anything special in terms of flavor. The portions were decent, but considering the taste, it felt a bit overpriced. For the amount we paid, we expected better quality. Overall, it was an okay experience, mostly because we were starving. If you plan to visit, don’t come on an empty stomach and don’t expect outstanding service. It’s a popular spot, but the food and hospitality didn’t quite live up to the hype.
Han G — Google review
Had breakfast, rice tasted a day old, Shanghai lumpia? Really? Egg was under cooked and the corned beef was straight out of a can. All the food was cold and the coffee extremely bland. I don’t know what the hype is? The price maybe? It was reasonable. Save your money and have a Jollibee breakfast.
Chris B — Google review
I liked this place better than the other Good Taste - while there's a crowd, it is still manageable and can still find a seat during lunch hour. No, there's no robot server here unlike the other but you don't pay more either. I ordered the Lechon and Broccoli and their Moringa Citrus juice and...while I was not really wowed, liked it. I was hoping to have some 'wok hei' flavor being a Chinese resto and all but, sadly didn't get that. The portions are huge, the rice and vegetables are perfectly cooked. I would like to come back and try the other dishes. I am still expecting to be wowed afterall. This is a family-friendly place and also very pocket friendly - nothing pretentious, no ambiance nor bells-and-whistles. Just some down-to-earth casual dining.
Maikeru — Google review
Generous serving and delicious the waiting time is long but worth it Goodtaste Centermall offers a satisfying and value-for-money dining experience. The menu features a generous mix of Filipino and Chinese dishes with hearty portions that easily feed groups. Service is generally prompt despite busy crowds, though occasional inconsistencies in flavor and seasoning have been noted by locals. ( The ambiance is casual and functional rather than elegant, suitable for everyday meals. Overall, if you're after full servings, reasonable prices, and a familiar, no-frills atmosphere, Goodtaste at Centermall is a dependable choice.

Nestled in a rainforest garden, Choco-late de Batirol is a must-visit spot in Baguio, just 3 hours from Manila. This renowned restaurant is famous for its hot chocolate made using traditional batirol preparation. It's a popular choice for families seeking a hearty breakfast or merienda, offering dishes like tocino kalabaw and longanisa Vigan alongside bibingka and suman served with their signature cacao drink.
Walked over to Choco-laté de Batirol which is a comfortable distance from Baguio Country Club and a nice stroll through the cool air. Tried their Palabok along with the traditional blend of Hot Choco. The palabok was tasty and the hot chocolate was exactly what you’d want on a nippy Baguio day, rich and warming without being too sweet. With its rustic setting and the cool weather, the whole experience felt very much like the Baguio many people look for. A pleasant stop for merienda or a warm drink.
Erwin P — Google review
Visited this place because it was recommended by many. I expected much from the Hot Choco since it was hyped but the taste is not to my liking. I swear our palengke’s hot chocolate (sikwate) is tastier. We also ordered the bibingka not that good also for me hehe. Not to mention the food is expensive.
Dorothy ( — Google review
I ordered the Tocino Breakfast, and it was really good. The meat was tender and tasted like it had a bit of garlic in it, which made it extra flavorful. The plate also came with an egg, pickled cucumber, and tomato, which went perfectly with the sweet and savory tocino. I also tried their Baguio Blend hot chocolate, which has a hint of strawberry. It’s rich, creamy, and chocolate-forward, with just a light touch of strawberry flavor. It’s not overly sweet like commercial drinks, and you can tell they use high-quality chocolate. Definitely a comfort drink, especially with the cool Baguio air. They open as early as 7AM, but the line gets long quickly. I arrived right at opening and was already fifth in line. By the time I finished eating, around 20 people were waiting outside. The open-air setup makes it even better since you can enjoy the fresh Baguio breeze while sipping your drink. Overall, totally worth the wait. The food is great, the vibe is cozy, and it’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy breakfast in Baguio.

Nestled somewhere in the lush corners of Camp John Hay, Choco-late de Batirol offers a cozy escape from the Baguio chill. The ambiance is warm and rustic—perfect for quiet conversations or reflective solo moments. One standout is Marc, a server whose charm, smile, and fresh scent added a surprising layer of delight to the visit. He made the experience feel more personal. 🐾 Stray Cats Alert (but don’t worry!) Yes, there are roaming cats—but they’re gentle, well-behaved, and clearly loved. They won’t jump on your table; they’ll just wait patiently for a treat. Honestly, their happiness is contagious. 🍽️ Food Rundown: Hits and Misses - Salad: Dressing was pre-mixed. It was okay, but lacked a wow factor. - Bulalo: Tender meat and piping hot soup—great for the weather. But the flavor leaned too much toward beef cubes rather than traditional simmered broth. - Grilled Pusit: Soft, flavorful, and perfectly textured. A total win! - Grilled Pampano: Another star dish. Seasoned and grilled to perfection. - Kare-Kare: Thick sauce, but not in a good way. Felt heavy and lacked balance. - Garlic Rice: Soft, garlicky, and comforting. A definite yes. - Broccoli: Didn’t hit the mark. - Chocolate Drink: Just okay. - Chocolate Drink with Strawberry: Tasted like syrup—not worth the extra charge. 💳 Payment Options They accept credit cards, GCash, and cash—convenient for any traveler. 🚻 Toilet Check Clean and well-maintained. Always a plus.

If want to savor a traditional way of making hot chocolate, then this is the place to be. Along with a delicious selection of Filipino cuisine, nothing can satisfy the palate more. We went at the place straight from the bus station and they actually let us in a few minutes before the opeing hours. The server, who is Micca is very accomodating and really pays attention! to us asking photo, to our table to our order. Kuddos to her! The food is tasty and very local. We love the place. This Baguio classic serves authentic, thick, and bittersweet Filipino hot chocolate made with a batirol. Its rustic, cozy ambiance perfectly complements the traditional taste of the rich cacao tablea. A definite must-try for a comforting and genuine tsokolate experience.

Chaya is a renowned Japanese restaurant owned by a husband and wife team, with the wife being directly involved in sourcing fresh food supplies for the restaurant. The establishment is highly regarded for its sashimi and salads, attracting repeat customers. It's recommended as a great spot to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine, offering dishes like Agedashi Tofu, Salmon Seafood Salad, Maki Sushi Variety, Ebi Tempura, Beef Yakiniku, and Katsu Curry.
Food: 11/10 - Price is very much justified by the taste of the food they serve that has generous portions. Service: There was a bit of wait time. Around 20 to 30 mins but food was served warm which was perfect for the rainy weather when we went here. Staff were also approachable. We went there before the lunch service so we were seated right away. Atmosphere: Very cozy and comforring vibes. The place gave me that nostalgic "grandparents' vacation home" feels. I would live to come back and bring my famit here.

It was such a nice experience dining at this Japanese restaurant. It’s probably one of the few places I’ve tried that truly gives an authentic Japanese feel. The place is spacious, and the vibe inside feels very homey. We were served complimentary side dishes and hot tea as soon as we were seated. They offer a wide variety of Japanese dishes, and everything we ordered tasted great. Definitely worth the price ✨

As someone who is very much into anything Japanese, food will definitely be a deal breaker for me. This home turned into resto in Baguio did not disappoint, I have managed my expectation since I havent heard of this resto even if i have been to Baguio several times already, their food is top tier, from sashimi, sushi, sukiyaki and yakitoro momo, every bite is an experience, also, their lemon grass iced tea is a must order too. I highly recommend you visit Chaya whenever youre in Baguio. ☺️ fyi, we called the resto for a reservation prior to going here although they do accept walk in but I suggest you book a reservation.

The foods real good! Must try the Uni(Sea urchin), and love the simple taste of mixed tempura. This is for people who are looking for authentic and simple japanese food, a little bit pricey but you're quality!

Found a new gem in Baguio for Japanese food. The flavors of their food still feel authentic somehow. Serving is big. The staff are very kind and helpful. The place feels homey, it’s almost like walking into your grandma’s house, where you can smell the food being cooked. If you go, I highly recommend trying their sukiyaki.

The #1 resto I need to drop by when I’m in Baguio— must order the sashimi, yakitori, and matcha ice cream. Katsudon is okay, nothing special. Chirashi is so fresh and a steal at P580. Reservations are a must, even on weekday nights!

This was our first time eating here and based on the reviews, the place was simple and quiet.Food is okay. BUT, my grandmother couldn't relax because there were groups that were too noisy and she couldn't enjoy the food. They were noisy like they were in a market. The staff didn't do anything. I felt sorry for my grandmother because of our bad experience here.

Nestled in a tranquil corner of Ambuklao Road, just a short drive from Baguio City proper, Arca's Yard Café offers a serene escape from the urban bustle. Housed in a charming three-story home-turned-cafe, this hidden gem boasts an art-filled ambiance and stunning mountain vistas from its balcony.
One of my favourite places because of the views and overall atmosphere there! Really enjoyed the food too! Everything was great, including the drinks and desserts that we had! The only thing that wasn’t good were the ebi tempura, but everything else made up for that! Will definitely be back here again!

Based on our order, I think their specialty is the desserts. The sweet potato pie we ordered was delicious; it’s has the ample amount of sweetness and the overall texture was nice. The main dish we ordered: Spicy tuna pasta, was okay and it has a homemade taste (but I was hoping for a unique flavor) Overall, the ambience of the place is serene with beautiful displays of art and a library space for books. Staff is hospitable. The overlooking will not disappoint. P.S They have nice bathroom.✨

This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to during my vacation. The overall vibe and the food made it a wonderful experience. We were lucky it was just beside the hotel we were staying at. Getting here can take a bit of effort since it’s located away from the city. The restaurant is spacious, with three floors, and has outdoor seating that overlooks the mountains and pine trees. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal, especially breakfast. They offer a wide variety of dishes, and the food we ordered was worth the price and completely satisfied my cravings. What I loved most about this place is the library. I was surprised by the selection of books they had. If I had more time, I would’ve loved to just read and relax there. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere inside makes you feel like everyone is a friend. 🍃 Also, their dessert is worth the try!!

The pizza is absolutely amazing. We ordered one pizza to share among two people. It was the meat lovers. It was so good we ordered another one, but cheese. Both were incredibly good! Service was top notch as it almost seems like they are over staffed. Will definitely come back and try other things. The only negative was that they had no beer at all even though it's on the menu.

Their salads and lomo ribs never disappoint. First time trying the croquettes and it was really good. Once seated, their service is great. Dining on peak hours (lunch and dinner) is not recommended as the line gets really long.

Def order the ribs, wayy better than other resto in the area. For it’s quality I think the price is fair. Salisbury isn’t extraordinary but it’s not that bad. I wouldn’t suggest ordering at kalye treats, chicken breading is hard and mais con yelo is too expensive for its quality. Just order food from Canto itself and all’s good.

Dining spot near Burnham Park. Just a heads-up: parking can be a bit tight since it’s uphill, so plan accordingly. But the view of Kisad Road from the restaurant makes the visit even better. Shrimp & Tomato Pasta – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Handcrafted Sausage Sandwich - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Canto Burger (Classic) – ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Potato Wedges (Side) – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bland Ale - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Solid comfort food picks! The shrimp pasta is great (light and refreshing tomato & basil sauce simple but satisfying) + lots of shrimp. The sausage sandwich also stood out, while the burger was just okay but those potato wedges made up for it. 😋

Even after lunch hour is over, the line remains looooooong. We went here around 2pm, expecting a shorter line since we were thinking people would be done with their lunches.. well.. I guess everyone had the same idea, haha. Nevertheless, we still pushed through. We were told to wait 1 hr to be dined in. For ussss, 1 hr is such a looong time since we didn't want to spend an hr of our trip waiting in lines. So we decided to just come back 45 minutes later, and stroll aroud burnham for a while. When we got there.. welp we found out our names were crossed off, huhu. Not blaming anyone, that's totally our fault! We asked ate host if its still possible to put us in. We got scolded a little bit ( hehe, we deserved that, sorry ate! ) but they still pulled some strings and we got seated. We ordered Miso soup, Lomo ribs, salisbury steak, Turon Icecream. Miso soup - my partner liked it. I'm not a miso soup fan so... 8/10 Lomo ribs - honestly.. good ribs. But I was really expecting something else since it's hyped up in social meds. But! It's still good, it was just different from my expectations. Very tender, fall off the bone ribs. And the price, whew, i'd say it's a gooooood price for the amount given. 9/10 Salisbury steak - tasted like jollibee's. As someone who likes their burger steak, it's a good thing for me. Of course, Canto's are bigger and tastier. It's just that it reminded me of Jollibee's. 9/10 Turon icecream - YAAAAS QUEEN! Super love this one. Reminded me of Gubat's turon and ice cream combo. But this was better! Wanted to order another one hahaha. Love love love! 10/10. Would still comeback and try out other meals from their menu. Good food!

Staff were friendly and patient — great service. The pesto pasta was just okay, but everything else was good. The ribs, though, were next-level good!

I like the food and the ambience. I think there should be a separate dining area for a large number of guests and corporate lunches some guests could be loud and obnoxious, it ruins the experience of other diners. Love the pesto and roasted chicken *chefs kiss*

Good place, great staff. We like the pumpkin soup and salisbury steak but the Ceasar salad is not good, so plain and has a bitter lettuce. Calamansi Iced tea tasted like a lipton ice tea/nestea. The wings 6pcs is not worth the price. The dip was weird and the meat is not fried enough. 7/10 we'll try lomo next time, hope it won't disappoint.

One of my favorite spots in Baguio! The spicy seafood pasta is my absolute favorite, the servings are generous and the flavor is amazing. I also really enjoy their pizza. The atmosphere is great, and this location feels more spacious than the one on Session Road.

This is the original Grumpy Joe brunch. Amazing that the house was still preserved in good condition. Parking - plenty of parking for motorcycles, but limited for cars. Always causing traffic actually The waiting area outside is covered and with lots of chairs, cause it really tends to have long waiting queu. Ambiance - very homey because its previously a house converted to a restaurant. Loved the wood flooring as well. Altho the space is quite small and their branch in upper session road is more big and spacious. Food - always in big servings, i have nothing to complain - everything taste good. Always loved their salads - its always so fresh Price - very affordable Staff - very hospitable and attentive. Payment - accepts cash and card

Overall: amazing experience. Food is good, staff are friendly, place is relaxing. Food: the Honey Garlic chicken was crunchy, not too sweet, balanced and juicy. The peach mango yoghurt smoothie was very sweet 😅 The pizza was cheesy and meaty. The chili pesto shrimp was seafoody, balanced basil flavor and nutty. Service: all the staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Atmosphere: a homey abode. Feels like you're eating at home. I'm also very happy they have a diaper changing station in the Comfort Room 🥹 Which is very clean and spacious as most establishments do not have one.

Servings are big! There's a 2 hour time limit from the moment you sat down your table, good thing their service is fast. Was able to get the foods in 5-10 mins The foods are served hot! The pasta is good! Went on a weekday 1pm, no lines.

Grumpy Joe is a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it! 🍴 Their fried chicken is a must-try, and the combo meals are super filling. Pizzas hit the spot too. Place gets busy sometimes, but if you’re craving good comfort food in Baguio, this is definitely worth checking out. 👍

We tried Grumpy Joe Baguio and it was delicious and totally worth it! The servings were generous, the food came out hot and flavorful, and the place had that cozy Baguio charm. Definitely a must-try spot when you’re in the city! 😋✨

I couldn’t understand why it was made a decision to fit all 8 of us in these 2 square tables(which fits for 4 or stretches to 6 at max). When we requested for an extra table which was evidently available, we were told that it would “depend on our order” whether they will give as an extra table or not which we found quite DISRESPECTFUL. Our first time here was fine which is why we dined in for a second day. I guess their service level will significantly drop if there’s more people. Would recommend dining here on non-peak hours/periods.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Baguio since they started small. Their spicy pesto seafood pasta won my heart, absolutely delicious. The food is always amazing, and I keep coming back for the cozy vibe and consistently great meals.

The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant in Baguio City is a beloved dining spot known for its traditional Filipino cuisine. Nestled in a charming nipa hut near Tam-Awan Village, it offers flavorful dishes made with fresh local ingredients. Specializing in regional home-cooked meals, the restaurant serves up hearty options featuring smoked meats, fresh vegetables, and native wines.
I wished I ordered more because of all the food places I went to in Baguio, this was by far the best for me. We got the smoked pork rice meal and an ube cake. The way I savored the meat because I just don't want to stop eating it. It's that delicious!! The vegetables was so fresh and the beef broth, ugh, it was the perfect meal!! I can't get enough of it. This will really be a must visit for me everytime I'll get the chance to come back to Baguio. 😁♥️

Visited this restaurant with my family for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Parking was conveniently available, and we were immediately seated, even with a group of six. We ordered their smoked meats (beef and chicken), grilled liempo, and salad. The smoked meats had a rich, distinct flavor that stood out — tender with that deep, wood-smoked aroma that lingers just right. Personally, I enjoyed it a lot, though my wife found the smoky taste a bit too strong for her liking. She initially ordered the smoked beef while I had the grilled liempo, but we ended up swapping plates since she preferred the liempo more. The liempo was perfectly grilled — juicy, flavorful, and had that satisfying char that pairs well with rice. The salad was fresh, crisp, and balanced the meal nicely. It added a refreshing contrast to the rich, savory dishes. The service was quick, and the staff were polite and accommodating throughout our visit. Menu prices are affordable and well worth it for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for family dining if you’re looking for hearty, flavorful meals at a reasonable price. We’ll definitely consider coming back to try their other specialties.

Best food we ate in Baguio! Great value for money! We recommend to try their best sellers. No regrets in following the recommendations of the staff. Oh, and their free soup? Superb!! Got full just by inhaling the soup. Also, you must dip the meat into their spicy vinegar—just how locals eat it.
Jey P — Google review
The staff were friendly, the food was a bit on the salty side, and the prices were quite reasonable. There were many diners, so it’s best to go early to avoid waiting. Don’t forget to try the chicken soup prepared in the traditional local style.

Authentic cordilleran food!! Definitely loved the longganisa! blood sausage is a must try if you're adventurous. Careful with their chili-suka bec it's so spicy! Hahahahah Overall a good experience for us. Try to go here earlier to avoid the crowd and get some parking. Recommended!

We came here to taste authentic baguio cuisine and it did not disappoint. The place is small and there is a line of bunch people if you eill come here at peak hours. The foods are affordable and delicious. I really like the longganisa and the beef broth. The smoke beef is kinda chewy in texture but nontheless is good but i rather pick something that is easy for the mouth like smoke chicken or pork. Some items are not available especially the salad because it is the first one to be out of stock. We will come here again for the longganisa and the sabaw. The dinakdakan is also a must try

A Must-Visit Every Time We’re in the City! We had a great experience dining at this restaurant—definitely a must-visit whenever we’re in town. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were just right for the price. My mom especially loved it, which says a lot! As of our visit on June 15, 2025, this place is officially a go-to spot for our family. Highly recommended!

Pet friendly 🐶🥰 One of the best place in Baguio to have a rest and good vibes Super nice veranda with calm view At least 8am it was absolutely empty and calm Kind staff treated us with so many smiles and help. Food is delicious but they have only local coffee unfortunately. Big and clean and nice rest room.

1. Truffle Fries / P250 - Regular grocery frozen fries, hindi man lang hand-cut. Some were "sunog" as you can see in the picture. Did not bother to ask for replacement, they should have served "perfect" fries the first time. Looks like pinaghalo ang bagong lutong fries with old ones, kaya sunog ung almost half. My rating : Truffle Mayo = 8/10 Grocery bought fries = negative 10/10 2. Nonna's Fried Chicken / P325 (Recommended) - Ordered quarter breast/wing part, only got a small piece of breast and a small piece of undercooked thigh. Chicken was partly raw pa inside. The breading was not for me and masyadong makapal. Mas malaki pa ang chicken sa Max's, e maliit na un. The bones of the chicken were dark, means frozen na ng matagal. Or maybe native chicken sya. - Only 1 piece of a small potato slice and a stem of leafy vegetable. We had to ask to re-fry 2 pcs of the chicken, but nung binalik, overcooked/ sunog na. My rating : 0/10, sayang ang P325 ko 3. Quatro-Formaggi Spinach / P450 - 10/10 4. Smoked Salmon Pizza - Saks lang daw sabi ng anak ko, so I cannot rate it :) 5. Blueberry Yogurt Gelato / P145 - 8/10 5. Chocolate Marshmallow Gelato / P105 - 7/10 Overall Experience is ok, old rich Baguio vibes ang place.

Foods we got: Sphag and meatballs Wood fired ribs Margheritta pizza Strawberry salad Peach slice cake It was honestly bomb, if i were to pick my fave it would be the salad, ribs, pasta, and then the pizza. Although, the pizza is a bit bland pero the crust is so nice. The salad! Omg worth to go back kahit yun lang ulit kainin ko kabalik, sweet and just a bit of sourness too — very refreshing. Will i go back? YES. 100%

We had our breakfast here arriving from a night drive coming from Laguna. All we had tasted superb. We had the breakfast platter, pasta and coffee. They served complementary bread & dip and their brewed coffee can be refilled for free. Unfortunately we hadn't tried any of their pizzas as they weren't making it yet on that early hours of the day. Service was good. We were seated at the veranda area and staff were standing there and attentive. Pets are allowed, though a table next to ours had a small dog sniffing my legs while we were eating and that annoyed me. The handler didn't even made an excuse. Hope they set some rules about pets to make sure it won't bother other dining customers. Still we'll surely come back again soon.

I made sure to check their menu beforehand as I am vegan and was happy to see that some items were marked with a vegan indicator so I had assumed they were a vegan-friendly establishment. When we got there though, I asked the staff if they had vegan options and they said none were available yet which confused me since the menu clearly showed otherwise. Still, I tried to clarify when ordering. For example, their roasted garlic and mushroom was labeled vegan and didnt indicate that it had cheese like the other pizza options so I double checked if it had cheese. The server said no, so I thought we were good to go. For my pasta, they suggested tweaking the arrabiata by removing anchovies (and cheese, if it came with any). I specifically requested no anchovies and no cheese. But when my order arrived, it had both on top. The pizza also came with cheese despite being labeled as vegan and clarifying with the server. And when we raised the issue, we were told that the anchovies and cheese were just being removed from my order. I found this strange because for anyone with dietary restrictions, allergies, or ethical choices, simply picking toppings off isn’t enough. Ideally, the dish should have been remade from scratch. To be fair, they eventually fixed the orders, but the whole situation felt uncomfortable. The server seemed a bit annoyed about the mistake, even making side comments that she might get charged for it. As a guest, that kind of attitude doesn’t feel great to witness. The overall experience left me confused and a bit disappointed, especially with the mixed signals on their vegan options. Hopefully they update their menu (or properly train the staff) so it’s clearer for people with dietary restrictions.

A classic place! Must-try for anyone visiting Baguio. The food's good and the craft beers are exceptional! The only thing you should note is that you have to wait a bit for your orders. Be patient with them since they're understaffed. We didn't mind though since the place has a great vibe and you can just relax and take the scene in. 10/10! 👍

Disclaimer: I may have a different preference from you. :) We visited Baguio Craft Brewery on a Thursday evening, so it was quite peaceful. There was no band playing. I ordered their Smoked Pulled Pork Quesadillas. I thought I could finish them but I think it was good for two people. My friends ordered Pad Thai and Kare-Kare. I wasn't able to taste them anymore but my friends liked them. The servings are big. I tried their Passion Fruit beer (because I prefer it sweet), and it's so good. They allow you to taste two beer flavors for free (on a shot glass) to help you decide on what to order. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. :)

Pizza Volante is a local eatery known for its delectable pizzas and delightful desserts, with the Choco-Vanilla Affair being a crowd favorite. This dessert features a warm, rich chocolate cake paired with cold vanilla ice cream, creating an explosion of flavors. The restaurant also offers a variety of pies such as Mama Lous Apple Pie, Banana Cream Pie, and Chocolate Pie.
The food are great. We love all the food that we ordered. The cocochoco cake and the apple pie was great. We also love their pizza hindi nkakaumay. As for the drinks the brewed coffee on the first order was very good but on the refill no more aroma and flavor For the service, it took a bit time since there is limited server and only one cook at the kitchen but overall they are attentive As for the ambiance its just so so.. the resto itself is clean however the stairs going up on the second floor dining area seems a bit gloomy.

Pizza Volante is indeed a popular choice for both tourists and locals. After several visits to Baguio, I finally had the chance to try the original branch! We were in a rush at first because seating seemed limited, but I later discovered the place has two levels. Everything we ordered tasted great, except for the pizza, which felt a bit underbaked. Of the three Volante branches, I’d say this one is my least favorite. Its location at the heart of the famous Session Road, however, still makes it stand out.

Nestled just a few kilometers away from Choco-late de Batirol, Secret Garden is a discreet restaurant located on the second floor, resembling a rustic treehouse within a flower-filled area beside South Drive highway. Despite its name, the menu focuses on Mediterranean cuisine such as salads, pastas, and pizzas. Beautiful place. Quiet and conversational ambience. Perfect for bonding with friends or family. This restaurant is superb! The food was excellent, and the view and ambiance were just as impressive. We hardly noticed the waiting time because we were enjoying some quality family time catching up. We chose this place to escape the usual Father’s Day crowd, and it did not disappoint. It truly made our celebration extra special. Their menu satisfied most of our cravings, and the staff were warm and accommodating. Highly recommended!
Abegail C — Google review
The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, with a scenic view overlooking a hotel where you can also check in. The food tastes great, and you can tell it’s freshly cooked because it was still steaming when it was served. However, I was a bit disappointed with the side dish that came with the rice meals. Given that the restaurant is called “Secret Garden,” I was expecting more generous portions. Instead, the serving felt a bit lacking — just two slices of cucumber, four thin slices of apple, and half a grape? Thankfully, the main dishes were really delicious, which made up for it. Still, the prices are a bit on the higher side.
Darwin V — Google review
We ordered the Beef Belly and the Beef Tapa, and honestly, both were disappointing. The meat tasted almost the same, like they used the exact same beef and just poured a different sauce on one to call it a different dish. The quality did not feel fresh at all, more like outdated food. The staff were also unfriendly, moving as if they were in a rush even though we were the only customers there. It really felt like they did not want to work anymore. Overall, not worth it. Poor food quality, lack of warmth from the staff, and definitely not something I would recommend.
Michael A — Google review
The ambiance was laid-back, and the customer service was excellent. The interior, however, only has to be revamped, especially the counter, and instrumental or ambient music rather than upbeat is preferable to improve the atmosphere. Then, for the food, one can get delicious food in generous servings for a low cost! The meats were tender, very easy to chew, and deliciously marinated. Additionally great was the pasta. The smoothies, however, were too sweet for our tastes. Because of our wonderful experience at Secret Garden, I highly recommend it.

Perfect spot to have a snack after admiring the masterpieces in BenCab Museum. Cafe Sabel is at the bottom floor of Bencab Museum. It's overlooking a beautiful garden. Restaurant
Located in the Slaughter House Compound, Balajadia Kitchenette is a popular spot among locals in Baguio. Despite its off-putting location, this eatery is known for serving authentic Ilocano and Cordilleran cuisine at affordable prices. The carinderia-style restaurant offers comforting dishes such as bulalo, liempo, pinapaitan, and Filipino breakfast meals. The meats used are fresh due to its unique location.
We went straight here after a 4-hr drive from Manila. Just in time for Saturday lunch! The place was packed, but most diners left right after eating, so we got a table quickly. We finally got to try their bulalo, liempo, and the blood sauce - perfect for the liempo as sauce. It was sooo good! Affordable yet very hearty. ♥️ The staff was fast and attentive. Having ice cream afterward was the perfect way to wrap it up. Loved our lunch here!

One of the OG kainan in Baguio, they do not scrimp on the amount of food and their Bakareta is a must try (it's seriously delish)! We also ordered bulalo (ahhhh the soup is scrumptious and best cure for hang overs 😁),dinuguan (another hit on the palette), poqui poqui, and their pork inihaw is juicy and deep in flavor. It's a bit pricey but it was worth the penny. If they could improve the interior so it will maximize the space more then it would be much better.
Famery F — Google review
We ended up at this restaurant as a second choice after our usual spot ran out of popular items. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a very warm greeting from the staff, who were consistently great and professional throughout our visit. The ambiance was truly amazing, with a distinct anime and bamboo theme that created a wonderfully Asian atmosphere. However, the experience hit a snag with the food. While the staff and decor were top-notch, several menu items were unavailable, and the dishes we did order were quite basic. Compounding this, the portions were small, especially considering the sky-high prices. Despite these culinary drawbacks, we still managed to have a great time, largely due to the excellent service and inviting environment. Personally, though, given the value proposition, I wouldn't return here, not even as a second choice.

This has always been my favorite go to when it comes to their inihaw with dugo, kilaweng kambing, etc.; I’ve always chose to gatekeep this wonderful place, and will still do my best to. We've been visiting Baguio since I was a kid, but this was my first time trying Balajadia Kitchenette—and even my first time venturing into the Slaughterhouse area for some good Bulalo. We were lucky to arrive just before the lunch rush and managed to get a table right away. We ordered the Bulalo w/ vegetable, Inihaw na Pork, Tortang Talong, and Beef with Broccoli. To be honest, this was the best meal of our trip. The Bulalo was the highlight—light yet incredibly flavorful. The rest of the dishes were just as satisfying. The Inihaw na Liempo was a bit unusual at first since it came with dinuguan as its dipping sauce, but after a few bites, it actually grew on us and turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and easy to approach, which added to the overall experience. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable first visit to Balajadia Kitchenette—and definitely not the last!

Bulalo Soup at this humble restaurant is simply the best! The soup is delicious, and the customer service is excellent. We highly recommend this place. No nonsense, tasty, local food. One serving seems expensive at first but it’s actually good for 2-3 people. The place is carinderia-style, except the servers take your orders. A really good place to eat and be satisfied outside of the usual western-style food in Baguio.

Chef's take on her Chili con Carne is so delicious and should be judged apart from the Artichoke dip. My grandson had fun looking at the chicks and chicken. A Little Tikes car is a plus for him, too. When lunch started, I did not feel hungry at all despite being Degustacion serving size. We each had a favorite among the meal service. Mine was the Grouper with Carrots while Daughter ate 2 Pavlovas. Will surely go back. Parking onsite and swab a requisite.

I don't always get the opportunity to experience fine dining but this is a long review coming from a local who has a minimal grasp of general fine dining, so please take it with a grain of salt! This is a very leisurely-paced dining experience, I'm talking about 11am to 3pm! Eating here is not for the quick-hearted consumers, this is for the unhurried conversational food lovers. So make sure to manage your expectations and reserve almost the entire afternoon for the full experience. Best go with great company, preferably a nature-loving group you can converse with in-between! The glass house is spacious and peaceful inside-out. You are greeted with a full display of various orchids and live indoor plants, and a clear view of a pine-filled backyard (with occasional visits of the free-roaming hen and her cute chicks) overlooking a splendid view of the neighboring mountains. This is the time to brush up on table étiquette and get familiar with the formal dinnerware placements because there will be more than a set of spoon, fork, and knife in front of you! We were served a full course meal of 7 delicious dishes, the French way-- slowly. If I'm not mistaken, they served: l'apéritif, hors d'œuvre, amuse-bouche, main course, cheese, palate cleanser salad, mignardise/dessert. Food serving size is mindfully portioned to accommodate the entire 7-course meal! It's actually excellent if you see it in full picture, because the next dish won't be served until you finish the first, so please do not expect servings larger than a handful! Taste-wise I'd rate this a 9/10! Almost perfect! The dishes are exquisitely delicious, looks elegant, and are comfortably sophisticated but never intimidating! I particularly loved majority of the dishes (5/7). To give you an idea of what kind of dishes are served, here are my top 5 dishes that stood out for me the most (in the order of serving): 🍇 l'apéritif: camembert and brie honey cheese dip in bread bowl ☕ hors d'œuvre: the mushroom cappuccino soup with ginger foam 🐟 fish/amuse-bouche: deconstructed baked salmon with an assortment of confits and roasted veggies 🍝 pasta/cheese dish: the milanese white sauce mushroom and asparagus pasta 🥗 salad/palate cleanser: the lettuce mint and sprouts salad with dates, oranges, and candied almonds. The only fallback for me is the main dish. I was the only pescatarian so my main dish felt simple compared to the rest. It could be more complex or creative but still tasted good because it was crispy cornflake sugpo with pomelo salad, which I liked! Additionally, the chocolate ganash beignet with vanilla ice cream dessert would've been perfect! I just found the sugar overcoat a tad of an overkill so it ranked 6th out of the 7 dishes. Tbh, I'm very privileged to have been invited to a wonderful fine dining experience. For that I am beyond grateful to know there is a place like Mama's Table to gather with good friends. I'm also very happy with the availability of alternatives/options here especially for those with food restrictions/allergies/preferences. (I really love the range of food options. We need more of these bespoke and inclusive experiences in the city.) Just make sure to inform Chef ahead of time for them to prepare the ingredients! Though serving time is spaciously paced, I actually like this setup because the food is served FRESH where each dish is prepared long enough for you to talk about what's been served infront of you (also, because Chef Vicky doesn't like to be hurried so be patient and the food will come hot and delicious)! My overall dining experience here is definitely one for the books! I loved it so much that I'm still not over it-- the memories at Mama's Table stay with you for a few days. The aftertaste feels vibrant and sobering that I was empowered to share this magnificent experience as a way to let it all sink in and a way to truly express my appreciation for the craft and the people who made it all possible. Will recommend this place to my family, working friends, and to my relatives from overseas!

This is no ordinary restaurant, it is the home of Chef Vicky Clemente. Chef Vicky serves the freshest, best quality food cooked to perfection. Her knowledge of the intricacies of each dish is beyond compare. In addition to the great food, the stunning views of Baguio"s mountains as seen from her garden are second to none. Highly recommend.

Great ambiance which warrants the 4 Stars, that said, the place could use some serious sprucing up already. It looks tired, very twee and stuck in the 90's. There's appetizers for starters then the 8 food courses after is hit or miss. This I’d give 3 Stars as there still is a lot of effort put into it. Though personally it’s mostly a miss and it also takes too long to serve in between. But she does state the dining style is meant to be stretched out, you're to talk, savor the company, and takes about 3 hours from appetizer till you’re seated for the dinner itself, so be aware of this. My first time companions were already getting bored by the 3rd course, and were doing a countdown till the last one. Since this is a tasting type of menu each of the 8 courses are also small. This was my second time to dine here in 4 years and there doesn't seem to be much difference from what was served before, the food cooked and served was almost the same. So in 4 years I didn't see much innovation in cooking or flavors, they were good but not impressive. Some were ok, mostly so-so, only one was what I would call great. Considering what you pay per head and how small the portions are already, my foodie cousin was also quick to point out cost cutting in portion sizes or ingredients used from last time. So if you want to have the experience and bragging rights to having eaten here it's worth going to, but that's it until it gets a, for me, much needed overhaul and blows you away next time.

This place was recommended by a friend. So we tried the restaurant with the expectation that it is a hidden gem in Baguio. Location: The location is far from downtown. It gives you a feeling of excitement. Quite different from the normal easy to find resto in Baguio. Place: It has a big place with high ceiling and grand panorama of Baguio. Food: Serving was small. For you to pay 1,000php per plate for a buffet, it is too expensive and not worth the money you will pay for. There is nothing special in the food. I was expectig for more since the chef has credentials. But i think the credentials was more of the selling point that the food itself. Not the other way around. Service: This is the game changer of all. We were requesting for refill the food since it is not enough for the guests. But the chef insisted on her computations per grams instead of listening. She was more of on a defensive stance instead of adddressing the customers need. Customers don't care about grams. It is a restaurant thing. it is imperative that customers feel what he/she paid for was worth it. At the end of the day, if your name is "Mama's Table", the very basic instinct of a Mom is to ensure that you feed well your children or in respect your "customers". But it did not follow. Overall, i will not recommend the place. It is too far from downtown, food is normal, and the service was horrible. I agree with the reviews of some customers here. The chef or owner was not pleasant to deal with.

A remarkable experience with Chef Vicky. She makes you feel right at home, explains the dishes and remarks on technique, and the food is as exceptional as the ambiance.

Gypsy Baguio by Chef Waya is a charming restaurant located in the City of Pines, offering soulful dishes with diverse influences that allow the ingredients to shine. The menu features delightful starters like Mushroom Arancini and Peruvian Pulpo Ceviche. With its hillside location, Gypsy offers stunning views of the Baguio mountains and residential areas, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a colorful sunset and rolling fog.
Gypsy is an upscale, high quality restaurant in a classic, well-maintained classic style building in Quezon Hill 2. The food comes from primarily local, high quality ingredients to produce savory, tangy, and delicious recipes. It's an expensive restaurant, but it's worth it. The food is truly art, and bursting with locally found spices cooked in exquisite ways. The owner is apparently associated with the Slow Food Movement, which if you know what that is, tells you a lot. We ordered the smoked duck with greens salad, octopus ceviche, and pompono fish with mixed rice, two San Miguels, and an ube latte. Total was around 2400 pesos including service charge and tax.

The cake was just okay, but the rest of the food we ordered was delicious. My personal favorite was the tomato soup with grilled cheese which is super satisfying. The staff is also very knowledgeable about the menu. It’s a great spot for those with dietary preferences too, as they have both vegan and vegetarian options available.
Zofia — Google review
The food seasoning feels like it was intended for older patrons or maybe the health-conscious in mind. I don't eat a lot of salt, but the dishes we ordered were particularly bland. The Roasted Bone Marrow, while rich, needed a bit of salt. The same goes for the Bianca Putanesca, which is supposed to have anchovies but tasted just like pasta with water and sun-dried tomatoes. Also, the julienned vegetables in the Bibimbap were oddly long, as if they were cut lengthwise. While this might have been for aesthetic purposes, it was quite hard to eat the rice and meat with extra-long vegetables poking out of my spoon. You might enjoy this place if you have dietary restrictions or are cutting back on salt. The restaurant is worth visiting for the experience, but it's likely not a place you'd want to frequent. Be prepared for a long trip, as they are quite far from the city center and traffic is heavy.

Gypsy Baguio by Chef Waya A Cozy and Comfy Place at the (Sculpted) Table Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained I was in Baguio for a CPA convention at the Country Club when Paul—fellow delegate and dear friend—invited me to an early dinner at Gypsy Baguio by Chef Waya. She’s a friend of his, and I was curious to meet her. The catch? My stomach was staging a protest. I almost canceled, but Paul and I agreed to swing by a pharmacy en route. No luck with the meds, but we pressed on toward our culinary sojourn. The drive was serpentine and uphill, with Gypsy perched cliffside, overlooking a cascade of houses tumbling down Baguio’s hills. The vibe? Cozy, comfy, and quietly elegant. The flowers on our table were real—no plastic impostors here. Fitting, for a city that blooms with Panagbenga pride. And the sculptural glass-top table we dined on? Designed by Chef Waya’s late father, Jerry Araos, a celebrated Filipino artist. Art and appetite, beautifully intertwined. Appetizers and Antidotes Paul ordered Roasted Bone Marrow with garlic bread. I went for Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese—hoping it would soothe my digestive drama. Thankfully, the ever-gracious Gypsy crew had meds on hand. Crisis averted. The soup arrived, deep red and steaming, clinging lovingly to my bread as I dunked. I may have “borrowed” a slice or two of Paul’s garlic bread—purely for research purposes. The grilled cheese? Gooey, stretchy, velvety. It melted on my tongue like a buttery secret. I don’t usually eat pork or beef, but that night, I expanded my comfort zone. I scooped out the white bone marrow fat, spread it generously, and let it melt into the bread’s crevices. It was like butter from the gods—savory, unapologetically umami, and worth every bite. I declared it a cheat day. My pancreas nodded in quiet rebellion. Good Food, Good Company For mains, I had Indian Butter Chicken with red rice; Paul chose Kimchi Adlai Rice with bacon. My Butter Chicken was so good, I had the leftovers packed and brought them back to Manila. Lunch the next day? Still magical. At Gypsy, grains like adlai and red rice—abundant in Baguio—are paired with homegrown ingredients. It’s not just local cuisine. It’s heritage on a plate. Strawberry Panna Cotta in the House Chef Waya had gone to Manila earlier that day, but we met her son Kulas instead. He and the staff surprised us with a complimentary Strawberry Panna Cotta. Paul and I shared this blushing dessert that wobbled with grace. Gypsy put its best fruit forward. Satisfaction, squared. We capped the meal with Café Americano, muscovado sugar, and milk on the side. Then came the keto-friendly Queso de Bola Cheesecake—rich, crumbly, and surprisingly kind to a diabetic like me. Sweet, but not guilty. A Night to Remember I’m glad I didn’t let my tummy tantrum get in the way. I showed up, shared a meal, and savored an experience worth keeping. For unforgettable meals and meaningful moments, come to Gypsy Baguio by Chef Waya. And to Paul—thank you for the invitation. You didn’t just take me to dinner. You gave me a memory carved into a sculpted table, wrapped in good food, laughter, and quiet magic. Most of all you gave me a story worth telling.

I really enjoyed it here, the we order the salted egg pork belly, it was good but could have been better if all of it was seasoned with the salted egg. The spinach feta dumplings were so good divine. Will definitely come back and taste other dished on the menu.

First thing to say is that the serving sizes are huuuge! We had to take out most mains (the salad and soups were good) We ordered the Beef rendang, Salted egg pork belly, Molo soup, and Dan dan noodles. Everything was good!

We had a great experience here! There was a lot of variety for vegan options, and the staff made sure we were really well catered for — which isn’t always easy to find. The food was top quality and absolutely delicious; it didn’t disappoint at all. We also loved the beautiful mountain views, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Service was fast and friendly too. The only small downside was that there weren’t any vegan desserts available — it would’ve been nice to finish off the meal with something sweet. Other than that, a fantastic spot that I’d definitely recommend to anyone, vegan or not!

Seollem Cafe in Baguio is a must-visit for K-drama enthusiasts and tourists alike. The cafe's K-drama concept, reminiscent of 'Crash Landing on You,' creates an Instagram-worthy ambiance. With a veranda offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains, it's a truly Korean experience without leaving the country.
We tried Seollem Cafe in Baguio City 🌸 I’ve never heard of this place before, but we were amazed not just by their food, but by their excellent service as well! We went there as a big group (19 adults and 18 kids) and literally filled the entire place. The kids were so excited, some even started running around. The staff immediately gave them coloring sheets and materials, which really helped the parents manage the little ones. Our orders took a bit of time to arrive (which was understandable given the size of our group), but when the food came, everything was freshly cooked and delicious. Everyone loved their meal! While we were eating, the staff stayed attentive, always ready to assist the moment someone needed something. They were polite, patient, and super accommodating despite all the noise we made. The place was clean and very Instagrammable. every corner looked photo-ready, but still tastefully designed, not overwhelming. Even the restroom was clean and smelled nice. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Baguio!

while the food was delicious and the ambiance enjoyable, I noticed a significant delay in the service. It took quite a while for our meals to arrive, which made the experience a bit challenging, especially for those dining with children or on a tight schedule. I understand that delays can happen during busy times, but perhaps better communication with customers or updates about wait times would go a long way in improving the experience. That being said, the staff was polite and accommodating, and the food was worth the wait. With some adjustments to service timing, this could easily become one of my favorite spots when in Baguio. Looking forward to seeing improvements and visiting again!

The food here is quite good, with satisfying flavors overall. The Korean chicken was a bit too sour for my taste, though the serving size was quite decent. Their service is a bit lacking, possibly due to being understaffed during our visit. Despite this, the ambience is definitely one of the establishment's highlights, it's well designed, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. With some improvements in service, this place could be one of the best spots in baguio.

Soellem Cafe is a delightful find along Military Cut Off Road, boasting incredibly easy access and a truly spacious parking area. Stepping inside feels like entering a classy Korean drama, complete with Kpop melodies setting a charming backdrop. The cafe is airy and generously sized, providing a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their nice coffee and amazing food. What a treat to discover their in-house flower shop, showcasing beautiful tulips during my visit, alongside a cute Korean novelty gift store. This spot is a must-visit for its unique ambiance and offerings!

We visited with a baby. I thought the place was a typical cafe around Baguio but boy, I was wrong. It made me feel like I was somewhere else- chill, warm ambiance, friendly. Spacious and aesthetic. Food was ok, chicken was a bit hard for me. Plus point na yung isang comfort room nila ay may ample space for my baby’s travel pram. I managed to privately change his nappy without needing to do it in our car. Large selection of food and drinks. Parking space is limited.

Seollem Cafe in Baguio offers a delightful taste of authentic Korean cuisine right in the heart of the Philippines. From savory dishes to delightful drinks, every item on their menu is a treat for the taste buds. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks—the flavors were spot on and reminded me of the best Korean dishes I've had. The ambiance is also worth mentioning—it's incredibly Instagram-worthy, with charming decor and cozy seating that make it perfect for capturing memorable moments. Whether you're a fan of Korean cuisine or simply looking for a unique dining experience in Baguio, Seollem Cafe is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout choice for locals and tourists alike.

Slow service. The place has plenty of seats yet there was only one server, being helped by the one in charge of the drinks. Staff was doing many tasks, resulting to slow service. The egg on the bibimbap was like plastic in texture, obviously reheated. Not what you’d expect for a cuisine that prides in freshness of ingredients. They replaced it upon request though. But it shouldn’t have been served that way in the first place. Place is clean and spacious. Menu is well designed. Food taste is average.
Ynd Q — Google review
The resto has a wide space for people to hangout, review, do work, etc. You can choose your spot where you may want to be seated. The staff was very accommodating and answers all your queries. The food was costly but it's worth the prices. The bibimbap exceeded our expectations since it had a big bowl and a lot of servings, garlic parmesan chicken was good too but sadly, it was not boneless and it would have been a good deal if it was boneless since you don't have to bite into bones. The rabokki, be prepared to eat a lot too, since it's a mix of ramyun and teokbokki and a lot of vegetables, with egg. It was sooo goooddd. Perfect for the evening baguio weather. Beef bulgogi was mouth watering too! You can taste the bolgogi sauce in the rice and egg. For the drinks, I had the seoul forest (matcha cream), as a matcha enthusiast, it tasted great! Perfect blend for the matcha, water and cream. I also tried the blue pea tea latte, it was refreshing. Then the iced cafe latte, good blend of fresh coffee beans and milk. The ambiance was good, the music playing was kpop, in the morning the music was those you can find in kpop playlists which is cool since I like listening to those coffee shop vibes. Then in the afternoon, a lot of the music was of BTS, bol4 and other artists. There was also a souvenir shop inside but I didn't get photos of it. Overall, it was a great experience being here. Will go back and highly recommend this resto for those looking for a place to eat, hangout and enjoy the Baguio weather. Keep up the great work!

Nestled in the heart of Baguio City, Agara Ramen is a cozy noodle house that offers authentic Japanese ramen dishes. The restaurant provides a warm and inviting atmosphere where patrons can watch the chefs prepare their meals at the ramen bar. From traditional tonkotsu ramen to spicy miso ramen, each bowl is carefully crafted with rich broth, springy noodles, and an array of toppings.
I asked the staff for their bestselling ramen, and they recommended the Chuka Soba. Though I usually go for tonkotsu ramen, I decided to give it a try. The broth is lighter than tonkotsu but offers a more complex depth of flavor due to the variety of ingredients. The soba noodles had just the right amount of chewiness, making the bowl even more enjoyable—I liked it so much that I ordered extra noodles. I also tried their chahan, but there were some burnt notes in the flavor, so I’m hoping for some improvement. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the cool Baguio weather made the dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try their tonkotsu-based ramen next time!

Tsukemen wasnt as thick as before, the consistency was a little off but the flavor was still good. Tantanmen men was always a staple order, Wish they put more chicken in the karage. Ate here more than 20x, already. They have 2 branches, the one is Legarda is much more spacious.

Agada Ramen is a small, no-frills ramen spot with a cozy setup. The open kitchen allows diners to see the chef prepare the dishes, which adds a nice personal touch. Service is excellent—staff are friendly and attentive, which really makes the experience more pleasant. Just note that parking can be a bit limited. We tried three ramen dishes: the Chuka Soba (their signature), Tonkotsu Shio, and Shoyu. At around ₱400 per bowl, the price felt a bit high for the taste. The broth was okay but not very distinct or memorable. The pork slice was tender and flavorful, but it would’ve been better if there were more than just one piece per bowl. What we enjoyed more were the side dishes. The wagyu cubes were tasty and well-cooked, and the gyoza was nicely done—crispy outside with good filling. Overall, Agada Ramen is a good place for a casual meal with great service and solid side dishes, but the ramen itself may not stand out for its price.

Superb ramen in Baguio! Went around 6pm and there's no queue. I tried their best selling ramen which is the chuka soba. The chasu in the ramen is tasty and tender, the broth is flavorful you can taste the fish and pork flavor. Noodles is perfectly chewy. I also enjoyed their wagyu cubes it's cooked well.

it was recommended to us by a friend who loves visiting baguio and never misses to go to this place so we tried. the place is small and cozy, and according to my japanese companion the set up was somewhat authentic. it was a plus cause we chose city hub as our AirBnB and it Agara Ramen was just 5 min walk. we ordered their chaku soba, shio ramen, chicken karaage and cold sweetened barley tea. all of which were sooo good. its an open kitchen concept (atleast for the ramen) so we were able to see our food being prepared for us. and it was fun to see. the cook was fascinating and skillful. i would definetly recommend this to my friends also, if opportunity comes for them to visit baguio.

The soup, with a slightly fishy aroma in a positive sense, seemed to include lard and chicken oil (or perhaps just regular oil). Compared to Japan, the flavor was lighter, but it was refreshing and delicious.

Great tasting ramen. The Choku ramen is a must try. Commendable service. How it goes....order first, pay then prepare to wait. If you're in a hurry then this is not the place for you. Limited seating space and parking may be a challenge.

Edit April 1, 2024: after eating at few ramen places in Manila, upgrading it to 5 star for how much you can get for the price they ask. I recommend to probably order a ramen and gyoza. Original review after the line --------------------------------------------- If meron magkwento sakin na ginawa to para gayahin yung sikat na ramen chain sa MM, maniniwala ako. (MR) Summary: it's a ramen place that only serve ramen. Imo it is priced good for what you get. Very limited parking area. Before coming here, I read some reviews to get some expectation. Basically it's a cheaper version (daw, based on reviews ) of the popular ramen in Metro Manila. I cannot say it is true since I do not know the updated price of ramen now but I would feel same lang. The shoyu ramen at time of writing is 380 pesos and walang egg na kasama. So we have to add 70 pesos for it making one ramen meal a total of 450 (for the basic offering). So I would say similar ballpark figure pricing, not cheaper. Overall experience is similar, you line up and pay for order. They also accept credit card. You wait to get seated. Not everything is cooked in front of you. Sides are prepared inside the kitchen. I order Shoyu Ramen. The noodles are okay. Broth is rich and tasty (similar rin dun sa reference Ramen in a way na masyadong rich). Good enough serving for one Tempura is so so. Forgettable, will not buy this again. Gyoza is also similar taste Pero wala yung crunchy texture. (I believe similar way of cooking since meron pa rin crust / wings yung gyoza). Side note: natuwa ako na at least mas mura ng 20 pesos yung 5pcs.

Step into the past at 50's Diner, a retro American diner in Baguio City that exudes 1950s vibes with its red neon signage and pop culture memorabilia. The menu offers a wide range of Western dishes, from sandwiches and burgers to steaks, pastas, and fish and chips. You can also find Japanese Tempura and European Schnitzel on the menu.
50’s Diner WILL not disappoint you trust me! Why? Because its the ultimate diner in the 50’s TRY IT! And you will see the deal here, dont like cheapy or expensive but just the right one? Well, 50’s diner got it covered for you!! I ordered chicken cordon bleu and its awesome i mean perfect(i hope you will save a pork for me next time) the rice is good, the veggies are nice and sweet, while the chicken is well coated and cook in the best time; the atmosphere is astonishing and just like the 50’s its a 50’s theme. The crew is friendly and i like how they serve and prepare very demure, very professional. Finally its all a dream come true dinner that time and this restaurant brought all the effort and power. Thank you so much 50’s diner! You deserve in the higher grounds of gourmet! Bravo!

After a quick tryst with NBI (for my clearance), I craved for some Spam for breakfast. I thought Burger King would be the best place for it, but decided to try out this place instead because I saw Spam in their menu. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered Spam with garlic rice and an egg and topped up P25 pesos for a coffee. My dish was delivered in less than 10 minutes! So, for the price of P195 I get 3 chunky slices of Spam, an egg, garlic rice, and a cup of coffee - that is way better than Burger King's spam meal consisting of 2 slices of Spam and a paltry serving of white rice, egg and coffee for P200!! Although, admittedly, I would've preferred BK's way of cooking the eggs unlike here which is kinda sad. The garlic rice is more, but, the rice quality is poorer than BK's and I don't taste any garlic. Coffee is always better at BK's. But a slice of tomato and cucumber has been a great plus here. I got fuller here than I had at BK's for the similar meal. So you could say this place provided better value due to portions. Plus, you get to chill to classic hits of the 50's/60's if you are into it. But, as for the food - even if I only ordered Spam specifically, the other elements dissuade me from coming back. I sat at a table directly beside a family of four and they didn't seem too happy with what they ordered as well. And their dishes looked unappetizing for me. Anyway, that's what diners in the US are for - they're just there to fill you up as cheaply like fastfood without being too fastfood-y.

Food: 3/5 we tried Mix Grill (315) and Full House (280). For Mix Grill, beef strip was kind of dry in texture and bland and taste. Chicken steak is a bit juicy but also taste bland. For full House, baked macaroni tastes like home cooked macarani with generous sauce.Buffalo chicken has big serving though a bit sweet. Preferred if its on the spicy side. las Vegas roll is surprisingly good. It has cucumber, crab sticks, carrots, mango and salad like dressing .

We visited 50's Diner recently for breakfast and their meals haven't changed. The price is still affordable and the serving is still a good amount. I ordered their hot chocolate and pancakes. The pancakes served were large which was not a surprise but can be quite filling for a single serving. I suggest getting more "add ons" for the cupcake to be able to enjoy it much more. Their hot chocolate is on the sweet side. Good for sweet tooths and kids alike. The location is accessible as it is located in the top floor of Porta Vaga. The atmosphere it provides is nostalgic because of its American diner look from the 50's complete with the color, posters and music. It provides a nostalgic atmosphere which matches their theme.

Why is it that the idea of burger in the Philippines consists mainly of burger buns, meat patty or a strip of cheese (mostly artificial), and some creamy sauce? Why are they so stingy of the greens or pickles, especially in Baguio City where there is so much cheap vegetables? Not worth the price.
Abigail ( — Google review
Extensive menu. The lolo (maybe owner?) is accommodating and very helpful. Last time we ate though he was not there and we were attended by a lady staff. I hope they will write orders on a slip and repeat orders before going away to avoid wrong orders.

Excellent value for meal. Nice folks. Get the wartime something item if you like fried seafood. Only real knock I'd give them is grilled cheese and Texas toast are supposed to be toasted and melted. They seem to really not enjoy toasting things for some reason.

At lunchtime, my partner and I ordered our individual meals. The fries came out, as did my order, but my partner’s order took a solid hour and still wasn’t there. We followed up twice. Other tables who arrived after us, even a large group, received their meals first. We ended up just paying for the fries and canceling both my meal and my partner’s meal.

Founded by husband and wife Mario and Nenuca Benitez, the restaurant offers comforting home-cooked style dishes including their signature Caesar Salad and tenderloin steak grilled to perfection.
Went here for a Sunday date with the hubby... The food is good although a little bit pricey. Service is great! Servers are always around to answer a raised hand. There was no wait when we came so that is a total plus point. The atmosphere is really conducive for conversations. Come here if you want to spend some quiet time for lunch or dinner.

First of all when we arrived and during the entirety of our stay, the staff were very respectful to us and catered to all our needs. Secondly when the food arrived it was absolutely delicious, namnam na namnam Yung love na nilagay nila sa food, personally there fillet mignon was amazing and we'll seasoned along with their mashed potatoes. And finally the atmosphere was fantastic the ambience with the talented pianist was an amazing experience, especially since he alsa had a great singing voice, so talagang worth it na worth puntahan

It’s not our first time here but our experience today was extra special because the staff were kind & hospitable, the Chef on duty still considered to make the Churros even if it’s beyond 4pm (we appreciate it!) and Valencia Paella & Salpicado were so good! Babalikan - cause of the good service & good food! Worth it!

The place is wonderful! Makes me wonder why we didn't get the place earlier. Food is so good, makes me wonder why we ate at other places, missed so much. Will definitely be coming back, again and again...

Mario’s is one of those old and trusted restaurants in Baguio. They’ve been here as far as I can remember. So it was serendipitous that the restaurant we originally wanted to eat in wasn’t too welcoming and we decided to leave. And lo and behold, Mario’s was beside it. Its service is still impeccable, waiters were prompt and attentive. Our food arrived quickly enough. Quality of food was as good as I remembered it. A trusted place one can always go back to in Baguio. It never disappoints.

Had early dinner so we beat the crowd & full parking. Meal was satisfactory. As a supposedly upscale restaurants with a historical prestige, I'd expect management to prioritize hygiene. Sadly, our table next to the large window had large flies swarming & hovering our food. We asked for candles to ward the large pests but to no avail. We weren't even offered another table even if there was ample space. It was an inconvenient & expensive experience. Not going back ever.

Went here for my brother's birthday. They were very accommodating and the servers were fun to be around. Their flambé was amazing. It was as if I was watching the chef perform. My favourite was the talaba with cheese hehe Great place for celebrating extra special occasions ❤️

Restaurant
Rose Bowl Steakhouse and Restaurant is a renowned Chinese restaurant in Baguio, established in 1969. It has become a city landmark, offering authentic Chinese and American cuisine with the freshest local produce. The restaurant is popular for its large gatherings and celebrations due to its ability to accommodate big groups of people. The establishment is known for its reliable Filipino-style Chinese food, generous portions, and attentive service from friendly waitstaff.
All time favorite resto in Baguio! No vacation is complete without eating here.
Dennis B — Google review
The Last time we ate at Rosebowl was in the late 80s when they were still located at their Old Location. They have since moved to a Quieter location. We ordered the Water Cress Soup, Fried Rice, Steamed Fish Fillet with SoySauce, Taiwan Pechay with Oyster Sauce, Fruit Platter and Gulaman with Lychee. The Food was just Okay, nothing really worth going back for except probably eating at one of Baguios Old Restaurants. The Fruit Platter and and Almond Gulaman not worth ordering as they were expensively priced based on their serving size. Rose Bowl needs to step up their game of they are to compete with other Chinese Restaurants in Baguio. The Name is there but the food needs to improve.
Vic M — Google review
The taste of their food, the table set up, ambiance or atmosphere are not the same anymore. Doesn’t look like a restaurant.
Nuel G — Google review
I was so excited to revisit the Rose Bowl in Baguio, a restaurant that holds so many fond childhood memories. I was hoping for that same nostalgic feeling, the warm and familiar atmosphere that made it our go-to spot. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The restaurant felt quite gloomy and lacked the vibrant energy I remember. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. Everything we ordered was surprisingly bland, a far cry from the delicious meals of my youth. When we spoke with the manager, we learned that the restaurant is now under different ownership, which explains the drastic change. It’s a shame to see a place so full of happy memories feel so different. I left feeling super disappointed.

Their crispy wanton is the best I tasted. Food is good. Place is a bit outdated. Service is good also.
Proud D — Google review
Awesome old school, classic Chinese restaurant in Baguio. Dining here was a delightful experience. We had a right-at-home comfortable dinner at Rose Bowl with super hospitable staff and great service. All the food was great tasting and prepared just right. We liked the food so much, we came back a 2nd day to eat again. Since coming to the Philippines, this is the best Chinese food we've had. In addition to the wonderful food and employees, the view from Rose Bowl is spectacular! You can see the beautiful trees and city down below. There is also a cool breeze blowing through that makes you feel refreshed 🌬️. Indeed, a memorable experience that we will cherish. Stop by Rose Bowl and see why they've been a Baguio landmark since 1969.

The restaurant is known for serving fresh fish and authentic Malaysian dishes prepared by a chef with Malaysian heritage who previously worked as an executive chef at a hotel group in Thailand.
What a wonderful dining experience! Excellent meal and service. Servers were very attentive and efficient. We ordered the papaya salad, chicken in green curry, prawns sambal and egg drop soup. All good. Kudos to chef who says hi to guests himself.

Everything was perfect!!! The food was awesome! I can't believe I just visited it for the 1st time 😳 I am soooo grateful for the other google reviews that led me here. I super love the crispy papaya that the wait staff recommended. The dressing was so extraordinary that I bought 3 bottles of it. My friends and I ordered a lot and everything was super tasty. Chef Jeff (or was it Jeffrey) came out and engaged with us, and has left a positive impression on us. Btw, the view outside the resto is also spectacular, especially at night ☺️

Chef’s Home serves up authentic and flavorful Southeast Asian dishes with generous portions. The flavors are bold and well-balanced—definitely a must-try if you’re craving something different in Baguio. The place is cozy but can get busy, so reservations are a good idea. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and taste make it worth it.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. The servings are enough. Every dish that we ordered was special. Special mentions are the papaya salad (both fried and fresh), pulling tea and tom yum. The ingredients were fresh. The spices tasted authentic. And the look of the food are very colorful. Our bill was around 450+ per person but we went home very full. We even had 2 dishes packed and even the takeout packaging was very thoughtful. Highly recommended and we'll surely come back there every time we go to Baguio. Hope they can open another branch in metro manila. 😇

It's located in a convenient place if you're staying in or near John Hay, and don't want the hassle of dealing of going to Session just to have a taste of the famous Hill station. I would go here for coffee and breakfast after having a morning run at CJH.
Jaime J — Google review
Dining at Hill Station in Baguio was truly one of the most memorable culinary experiences I’ve had in the Philippines. Nestled in the mountains, the restaurant not only offers delicious food but also carries with it a sense of history and charm. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by warm lighting, rustic wooden interiors, and an old-world colonial atmosphere that immediately set it apart from the usual dining places in the city. It felt like stepping back in time, yet with a very cozy and inviting vibe. The menu was impressive, with a blend of European, Asian, and American influences that reflect Baguio’s cosmopolitan character. I particularly enjoyed the slow-cooked dishes, which were packed with flavor and prepared with such attention to detail. The serving sizes were generous, and the plating was elegant without being pretentious. I also appreciated that they used fresh local ingredients, which made every bite feel wholesome and authentic. Beyond the food, what made the experience even more special was the ambiance. From the panoramic windows, I could enjoy a view of Baguio’s greenery and feel the cool mountain breeze. It was the perfect setting for both a relaxed afternoon meal and a romantic evening dinner. Overall, Hill Station isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a destination where food, history, and atmosphere come together. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Baguio who wants to enjoy more than just a meal, but a complete cultural and sensory experience.

This was an okay restaurant experience. We ordered the fresh mushroom soup, the beef and shiitake mushroom pasta, chicken inasal, and lemonade. The soup was so good. Highly recommend that! The pasta and the chicken inasal though we're quite basic. Nothing very special about them. We also ordered the banoffee pie and the cheesecake flan. The desserts were pretty tasty. Overall I think it was pretty expensive for what we got but food is definitely okay.

📌 Hill Station Bistro ⭐️ 3 / 5 🚨 Located inside the CJH compound, this small resto in a mini version of their mother branch, Hill Station. Service is so-so, very minimal compared to the excellent service of their main branch. Their food is okay. I like the pork belly with red rice. Very filling. 💰Beef burger 255php, Grilled cheese 220php, Pork Belly 480php, Death by choco 130, Bottled water 50php / Total = 1529.00 with service charge 🐶 We were seated outside bec we have a dog with us. We asked for a fan bec it was so hot at noon, but they said they don’t have any 🥵 🚗 Ample parking but could get quite full during peak season / rush hour.

I went with friends and their family on Saturday just gone and they accommodated our party really quickly considering how busy they were. Attentive and courteous as well as thoughtfulas my friend and his daughters are vegan. I had Thai green vegetable curry and garlic bread with red rice... I was full and could not eat all of my meal and they were most kind in giving me the remaining meal in a takeaway container and bag.... I highly recommend this place for any one who wants a good hearty meal.

Ozarks is a comfort food American style diner. We ordered a variety of dishes, from set meals to their build your own breakfast. The milkshake, iced tea, and fries were of good quality. The rest were still quite tasty though not exceptional. They have a few booth tables which can accomodate 6-8 people, though most tables are better for 4. All their staff are so kind and accomodating as well! Big thanks to Sir Albert (whom we personally met) for the warm welcome. At Ozark, we felt very appreciated and loved. Stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights. Dined here 3x. I can only say good things about this place. The staff service, particularly Henry and Jen, makes dining a memorable experience. They are fun to talk to and very helpful on our concerns. Foodwise, they provide large portions of everything and each dish can be enough for 2 people. I personally recommend their big filipino breakfast (10/10 on that garlic rice and 3 eggs), meatloaf, and sage sausages. The place itself has a nice view of the SLU Oval and abundance of pine trees. The accommodations are nice, spacious and pet friendly. If you have dogs, they are certainly welcome

One of the favorites by the locals. Their best seller is Chona's Delight. But everything on their menu is worth trying ... authentic Chinese flavors ... big serving ... and at very reasonable prices. Ili-Likha Artists Village, conceptualized by filmmaker Kidlat Tahimik, is a unique food park and art hub in Baguio. The village features a variety of food kiosks offering fusion cuisines from around the Philippines amidst an eclectic mix of installation artworks. The interior is adorned with mosaic tiles, sculptured glass, paintings, handwoven fabrics, and other artistic creations.
We just went here by surprise. We randomly check place in Baguio and stopped here due to a catchy structure. The exterior and interior is similar to the Crazy House in Vietnam. The concept was unique specially have different shops inside. Exploring each corner gives a different angle. Very instagrammable place. We went here to stay for an hour to have coffee and it is so refreshing feeling. They don’t care if you stay or not. The coffee taste so good too. No entrance fee since the concept was combination of different merchants.

Love the place. Perfect for those who appreciate arts. Many spots to look at and to take photos. Food and drinks are also good and affordable. The only concern we have is the comfort rooms; not clean. I hope they can maintain the cleanliness since this place is already an attraction for tourists. But would definitely return here to support local artists.

So much fun to explore! I really enjoyed seeing what was around the next corner or above or below. Wear comfortable shoes and watch your step! I really appreciated the mosaic stairs and the woodworking in the hidden theater. Many cafes and coffee shops as well... bring your appetite.

One of the best spots to explore in Baguio! Inside, you’ll find local handmade products, art pieces, and plenty of food stalls serving both Asian and Filipino cuisine. I love how the place feels artistic and a bit old-fashioned. It’s a nice spot to stroll around, shop for unique finds, and try local flavors. Just note that the paths are quite steep and can get slippery when it rains, so it’s not very accessible for older people, kids, pregnant women, or those with disabilities. Still, it’s a beautiful cultural stop worth experiencing! 📜
Han G — Google review
In a city known for its pine‑scapes and more standard tourist stops, Ili‑Likha offers something different: a bit of surprise, a blend of art + lifestyle, and a quieter corner away from some of the busier zones. It’s not just a “place to eat” but a “place to feel” — you’ll walk in expecting one thing (maybe a quirky food stop) and leave feeling you’ve discovered a micro‑world of creativity. If you like art, architecture or immersive spaces that are more than the sum of their parts, this is one to add to your itinerary.
RFSM B — Google review
Ili-Likha Artists Village is truly one of Baguio’s hidden gems! 🌿🎨 It’s not your usual café or tourist spot — it’s a creative haven built from recycled wood, bottles, and other upcycled materials. Every corner feels like a piece of art, from the hand-painted walls to the quirky stairways and cozy nooks. You can really feel the artistic soul of the city here. The place has a calm and laid-back vibe — perfect for those who want to slow down, take photos, and just appreciate local creativity. The food stalls offer a mix of healthy and unique dishes, with vegetarian and local options available. I personally loved how everything feels authentic and proudly Filipino. It’s not a luxury place, but that’s part of its charm. More of a rustic, bohemian experience surrounded by nature and art. Definitely worth a visit if you want to see Baguio beyond the usual tourist spots. 🌲☕🎭 Best for: Art lovers, coffee drinkers, chill hangouts, and anyone looking for inspiration. Tip: Visit in the morning or late afternoon for fewer crowds and great lighting for photos!
Sheryll L — Google review
If you're into art, this place is a dream! It's incredibly whimsical and artistic, with so many cool arts and crafts to feast your eyes on. You'll also find a good selection of cafes if you're in need of a bite. The only downside was that quite a few areas were restricted during our visit. Here's what we sampled: Pesto Pasta from Cafe Cueva - 3/5 Ube Espresso Latte from Kapi Kullaaw - 3/5 Yogurt bowl from Yomichee - 5/5 (Highly recommend this!) A quick note on exploring: watch your step! The spaces can be a bit tight, and the design, with its cobblestone and narrow spiral stairs, might be tough for little ones or people with mobility challenges to get around.
Rick O — Google review
Very artistic, unique, and sophisticated designs. They are so complex and the huge effort for designing the whole building takes a lot of time. I appreciate the recycling of glass bottles and many more things, I love the intricate colorful designs of marble and ceramic tiles. King Chef Dimsum Kitchen in Baguio is a Chinese restaurant located on the ground floor of The Orchard Hotel. It offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, including dim sum, xiaolongbao, noodles, and more. The restaurant is known for its authentic Cantonese-style cuisine made with high-quality ingredients and expert techniques.
Chinese food is always 💯 for me. Service, 10/10. Our server was very helpful and actually recommended that we order our dim sum by 2PM so we can get it at discounted prices. The ambiance is also great, cool, chilly Baguio paired with beef noodle soup is awesome!
Mischa V — Google review
I was just dying for some dimsum and happenchanced this place while just hiking around the neighborhood. I didn't realized until I entered that it was a fancy Chinese restaurant. And at that moment, my expectations for dimsum just shot up. I was greeted and sat down at an empty table by polite and speedy staff. Was handed over a menu and a bit elated to find out that they serve discounted dimsums from 2-5 pm (and it was already 3)! I was feeling nostalgic so I ordered Xiao Long Bao and Japanese Siumai - almost the same ones I ordered at a very famous resto in Taiwan where the famous Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang dines in. After 10 minutes my order arrived. It was a little disappointing to find out that my Xiao Long Bao had only 4 pieces and yet the price is half of the one that I ordered in Taiwan but had 10 pieces. More disappointing was the taste as it was very gamey. I suddenly remembered that Taiwan pork is world class and of so high quality that Japan imports from them. The Japanese Siumai where better in my opinion - the texture and meatiness is perfect! Finishing it off with a pitcher of complementary house tea is just perfect. I wanted to order a plate of Yang Chow but it serves 3 to 4 and I wouldn't be able to finish it. They didn't have single serving. Maybe I will come back for their other dimsum. But never their Xiao Long Bao - I'll just save them up for my next Taiwan escapade. Once you tasted better ones, the others just becomes overpriced and overrated.

One of my favorite place to eat. The place smells so nice and welcoming. Authentic Chinese cuisine. It is best to be there during dim sum hour (2-5pm) we get to enjoy dim sums with a cheaper price. Food is worth the money. The HK milk tea is better than any milk tea around the city. (does not include the boba). Service is always the best. very helpful and friendly. They give gifts on random occasions.

This was our second time visiting King Chef because of their 35% off dim sum promo from 2–5 PM. It’s in the same building as The Orchard Hotel, with a separate entrance but still connected. We came around 4 PM and were greeted by one of the staff. We were seated right away and handed the menu. While deciding what to order, they served us complimentary house tea. What we ordered: King’s Fin – our favorite! ★★★★★ Hakaw – ★★★★☆ Pork Siomai – ★★★☆☆ Xiao Long Bao – ★★★☆☆ I also ordered beef balls, but I think they missed it—hehe. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They’re also a tie-up partner of Pag-IBIG Loyalty Plus, so if you order a minimum of ₱800, you get a free Almond Jelly with Lychees. Because of that, I added another King’s Fin and Japanese Siomai (★★★★★) for takeout so I could claim the freebie. The almond jelly was tasty, but I wasn’t expecting the portion to be that small—just three pieces of lychee. Half of the restaurant space was being used for a seminar, separated by a white cloth divider. So while we were eating, we also got a “free seminar” in the background. The only downside was that it was quite noisy. When we return to Baguio, we’ll try more of their dim sum selections. *08/09'25 💛

The service at the restaurant was truly excellent. They even offered complimentary tea, which was a nice touch. The spaciousness of the venue was also very much appreciated. One minor drawback was that not all items on the menu were available during my visit. While their xio long bao was a bit saltier than my preference, their wanton was undeniably delicious. The pricing might have been more acceptable if the overall food quality consistently matched it. Unfortunately, it seemed to vary – some dishes were excellent, while others fell short. The 5% service charge, however, was completely justified. The staff's attentiveness and overall service were truly outstanding.

The food is some of the tastiest Chinese cuisine I've tried so far.

The place is neat, and organized. The staff are very accomodating and are nice. There is a variety of food (from chicken to pork to beef to fish) so definitely every taste bud or preference can be met. The beef and pork dishes need to be cooked more, in my opinion, as they are still tough. Again, every person has a preference. I liked the butchi, it's my fave.

We were in Baguio for a business trip and were looking for a Chinese Restaurant when our cab driver recommended King Chef Dimsum Kitchen. The restaurant itself is familiar to us as we have these in Manila. In Baguio, King Chef is located inside The Orchard Hotel , whom we were told, were owned by the same family. We came a bit early for our meeting so we had some dimsum first and then ordered dinner for our guests. The dimsum was, as expected, delicious as it was prepared upon ordering. I totally loved their Bean curd Roll, Sharksfin Dumpling, Hakaw, Pork Siomai and Chicken feet. For dinner we started with Spinach soup which I loved! Then we had Mapo Tofu, Spare Ribs, Yang chow fried rice and other offerings on their menu. Overall, the food was alright to satisfy our cravings for Chinese cuisine. The wait staff were not so responsive even if they weren't doing anything. They became snappier when my colleague brought this up with their supervisor. But we did enjoy our meal in spite of that.

Hoka Brew is a top restaurant in Baguio known for its stunning 360-degree view of the city and surrounding mountains. The interior is adorned with wood, creating a natural ambiance that complements the panoramic vistas. Located at The Podium Boutique Hotel on Marcos Highway, this restaurant offers a buffet breakfast at an affordable price and operates from early morning until late evening.

Another one of my favorite places to unwind and relax with great ambience and great food! The quesadilla was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious blend of gooey cheese and flavorful mexican beef and veggies. The mushroom bacon cheeseburger, on the other hand, was a mouthwatering masterpiece. The juicy, tender beef patty was topped with pickles, mushrooms, crispy bacon, and melted cheese that created a harmonious explosion of flavors in every bite. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection, boasting a crispy and golden exterior while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. The flavor of garlic parmesan cheese and buffalo wings complemented the onion rings and potato chips on the side. Everything was perfect!

2nd Review from 3 to 5 Stars! Love how management takes feedback from customers seriously. It was a much better overall experience, excellent customer service plus the best Mongolian bbq we've tried in Baguio City! It deserves a repeat.

Hōka Brew 📍 Ben Palispis Highway, Tuba, Benguet Hōka Brew is a cafe/restaurant located at the second floor of The Podium Botique Hotel Building along Ben Palispis (Marcos) Highway near Baguio City proper. It boasts of a panoramic breathtaking view of the Benguet Mountains and true to it’s tag, it is truly beautiful! The interior has a wood theme, inspired by nature according to the owner. It has ample seating and huge tables for big groups. It’s outdoor seating is a bit limited, so I bet it’s first come first serve. They have a little stage which performers like acoustic singers and bands would play in some nights. Better check their page for schedules. They have a wide menu and serve numerous kinds of drinks aside from being a cafe. They also serve craft and local beers, wine and other alcoholic beverages. If you do come in the morning, they only serve their breakfast menu, and other items are available around 10 o’clock in the morning. We ordered the Hoka Full Breakfast that consists of waffles topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberries, sausage, ham, bacon and a sunny side up egg; and their beef tapa with a side of egg and pickled vegetables. The default is sunny side up egg but you can request it to be scrambled or well done. For drinks, we had a hot Matcha Latte (cute hearts) and Watermelon Shake (fresh fruit). While waiting for your food to be served from their open kitchen, you may take pictures in their balcony with the mountains and city as your backdrop. Definitely worth a visit if you’ll be going to Baguio. #GAPH #gastronomicladvetures #wheretoeatinBaguio #breakfast #Baguio #cafewithaview #restaurantwithaview #foodie #foodblog

The place looks very nice and cozy but I think it looks better at night because you'd get to see it with their lights on. They even have color pencils and paper mats on tables. Cute! Good place to hang out if you're a group. And of course they serve delicious food plus they have Mongolian buffet. Though what I liked the most is their 4 cheese pizza and the latte.

Cafe
Luisa's Cafe, a well-established restaurant in Baguio City, has been serving simple Chinese dishes for over 60 years. The traditional dumbwaiter and cozy ambiance make it a favorite among locals, tourists, and even journalists who consider it their second office. While newer eateries have gained popularity in the city, Luisa's Cafe has stood the test of time. It is owned by experienced restaurateurs who also operate Kubong Sawali.
I ate at Luisa's Cafe, an OG Chinese Resto in Baguio City. It took me a while before I found an empty table, that's how crowded the place was. I ordered their Chicken Wonton Mami and Siopao Bola bola. The siopao is fluffy outside and the inside is all meat and no extenders. And with the addition of their sauce it is savory. As for the mami, wow! The broth looked light and clear but when I tasted it it was like I filled my mouth with magic liquid. It was very flavorful. Their noodles are firm just the way I like it. And their wontons are meaty and tasty. Other than siopao and mami they offer a wide array of food in their menu. I went back again after a while and this time ordered the Luisas Special Mami. It has a variety of meats such as pork asado, chicken, siomai, and pork innards. It tastes so good I cant believe I finished the whole big bowl.
Oliver R — Google review
The food was flavourful, it tasted like old school mamunlok Mami siopao was also good but on the sweet side. Unfortunately the waiting time for a noodle is too long 😞 if they could improve on the serving time would have been nicer
Ken L — Google review
They say it is one of the oldest restaurants in Baguio and I must agree they serve good food. This is my go to place for a siopao in Baguio, I believe they have the best made siopao in the city. I ordered pork mami and asado siopao and I like their siopao - the bun is full of meat filling inside and tastes good as well. The mami and siopao are worth the prices.
Ralph C — Google review
The restaurant has been around since the 1960’s. They are the Baguio’s version of Ma Mun Lok. I had the Luisa’s Mami and Luisa’s Rice. Both carried the restaurant’s name so it must be their best. The Luisa’s Mami objectively was ok. It had wonton, some pork and some chicken on it. It was slightly light on protein. I do like the noodles. The Luisa’s Rice has a fried chicken and something like a Chop Suey on top. Love the veggies taste. Overall I will say it was just ok as well. Bottom line is you’re coming here for the taste of nostalgia and just a culinary excellence. The
Kendrick K — Google review
I honestly don’t understand the hype around this Chinese restaurant. Sure, it’s been around in Baguio for a long time, but there’s really nothing special about their food. We only ordered Luisa’s Rice and Beef Mami this time since I had already tried their siopao before—and even that wasn’t great. In fact, the siopao from Mido Inn, down Session Road near Malcolm Square, tastes much better. The rice in the Luisa’s Rice dish had a distinct taste—like NFA or cheap quality rice. I’m sure they’re not using Jasmine or Dinorado rice. The roasted chicken, Chinese meat, and vegetables were okay, but the rice really brought the dish down. As for the Beef Mami, the serving size felt too small for its ₱100 price tag. Just a few pieces of beef and a couple of spoonfuls of noodles—no vegetables at all. For that price, it just isn’t worth it. Honestly, the soups at Rose Café offer much better value. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly. But when it comes to the price versus quantity, you’re not getting your money’s worth. There are other Chinese restaurants out there that are more affordable and offer bigger servings.
Darwin V — Google review
Their spareribs was not salty, unlike most Chinese resto. I loved that it was also not too sweet and had the peppery flavor. The siomai, however, was nothing special and can be compared to street style siomai and is not worth ordering. The place is small and the staff are attentive.

Went here on a rainy day in Baguio - perfect time for a noodle soup. Also ordered their SIOMAI, emphasis on its size. 😆 Nothing special, but good quality staples. 👌🏼

Restaurant
Lime and Basil in Baguio City is a must-visit for those craving authentic Thai cuisine with a twist. Chef Orvin Sayos puts his own spin on traditional Thai dishes while staying true to their essence. The Khao Soi Gaih, a Northern curry noodle soup, is particularly recommended for its comforting flavors, perfect for the Baguio weather.
Ordered the Tom Yum, Red Curry Beef, Bagoong Rice and Mango Sticky Rice. Despite a fully packed dinner on my visit (Dec 27 peak season!) the food taste and quality were excellent! What made the experience really fun and memorable was because of the impeccable attention to detail, service and hospitality of Mary Jane, our server. Despite the chaotic scene of a peak hour dinner and a full house, she really made us feel like VIPs. Kudos! Highly recommended restaurant for Thai cuisine and if you are looking for quality service! Bonus- the mild spicy Tom Yum was perfect for the chilly Baguio evening! I’m sure the breakfast views look great too!

Why did it take me so long to try Lime & Basil?! EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!! They’re located inside a residence building and there were no signages (at night) so we thought we were lost or the Google Maps was messing with us. Hope they can add more signages that is visible at night time. STAFF SERVICE - IMPECABLE! They were fast and attentive. Food - GREAT!!! Everything was good!! It was just a little on the pricier side but very very worth it. Too bad bagoong rice was sold out during our visit but the mixed vegetables rice was good as well.

Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant in Baguio is such a gem! The staff are warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is definitely value for money—big servings that are perfect for sharing. Their Thai iced tea is legit and one of the best I’ve tried. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their dishes. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in Baguio City.
Shyneth G — Google review
My friend and I were shocked at how huge the portion size of each dish. We only finished the Pad Thai and Tom yum goong, we should not order the tofu curry and 2 jasmine rice. However, all the meals tasted great, hot Thai tea was included. There are many shrimps in both of pad Thai and Tom yum goong, totally worth it. The restaurant was located in a residential building, so you may ask the security guard for help.

as someone who loves thai cuisine, I must say that lime and basil did not disappoint. We ordered our usual faves, green chicken curry, pomelo salad, pineapple rice, mango sticky rice, their version of lechon kawali. We really had feast and enjoyed these sumptuous meal. A must try in Baguio! ❤️

Food was okay, please consider this, I don't know the taste of authentic Thai food. But I love the Tom yum and spring rolls. We ordered their pork fried rice, cashew fried chicken, Pad thai chicken and shrimp, spring rolls and Tom yum. Everything was good for my taste, not wowed, but yum good. The ambiance is wonderful, calm and has a beautiful view. We came there on a weekday lunch time so it was not crowded. The only downside was there's not much for kids who are picky eaters, but my daughter, who is 6, loved the place, she was able to run around while waiting for food. The staff was very friendly and able to explain the menu well. Serving sizes were mid, and a bit pricey. Worth it for a new experience.

Fantastic Thai food. Rich in flavor, nice presentation, and big servings. We ordered Thom Yum soup with shrimp, fresh spring rolls, and pineapple fried rice. All the dishes surpassed my expectations. The use of spices and herbs gave the food a delicious taste. In my many years of tasting Thai food in California and the Philippines, this is one of the best I have had yet. Kudos to the chef.

Their servings was huge! We ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Fried rice and both were so good. Affordable for that huge servings. Plus, they have chips with vinegar dip while waiting and its FREE. The location has free parking, has good view too. Same as what you can see in Mines View Park.

Nestled in the serene mountain climate of Baguio, Hatch Coffee is a popular third-wave coffee shop offering an escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Tucked away in a lush garden, this cafe provides a tranquil atmosphere with its rustic interiors and charming outdoor space. Visitors can savor the best-selling Easter Sandwich featuring mouthwatering Baguio longganisa, perfectly complemented by the crowd favorite Dirty Hatchata.
Hatch Coffee could easily be the best café choice in Baguio City. Its homey atmosphere, complemented by the surrounding trees and the pine breeze, makes it a sought-after spot for relaxing brunches and hangouts with friends. Everything was delightful, from the all-day breakfast selection to the friendly crew. I heard they have another branch, but I highly recommend visiting their main one.

First time visiting this place one early morning after our family walk for out second breakfast. Firstly, everything is expensive in comparison to the servings, considering that prices are still exclusive of service charge. Photo attached is a tuna deli sandwich, for 200. 200! They forgot to punch one of our drink orders so when we reordered, it was another separate service charge. 😪 Coffee wasn't boiling hot for my parent's liking so she had it returned. They did replace it but my mom was still not satisfied. I enjoyed their horchata though! Good for a try but might not come back again. Staff were not smiley and welcoming. There's a small playground for kids. Parking is outside just along the street.

Hatch Coffee is one of my favorite spots! The ambiance is warm and inviting. Perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Their specialty coffee is always amazing, and I keep coming back for their delicious loco moco rice meal, cottage fries and burger (their onion burger is the best). It’s also very family-friendly, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a great place to bring the kids. Plus, they have convenient parking, which makes every visit even easier. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place. A bit hidden so it felt like a great discovery. There is a bit of wait for the food but it was well prepared and really delectable. I ordered iced latte. Great coffee. The atmosphere is also homey and child friendly. Lots of open space. Just some improvement in their queing process is need, perhaps give out numbers. We were "overtaken" by a couple just because they were more attentive.

Nice, homey ambiance :) nice playground for kids. When we went here, we were informed that they no longer serve burgers! 😭😭 which is a very big disappointment as that is the main reason why we visited the place. Staffs said they are gonna revamp the menu & the burgers may or may not be a part of it. So since we’re here, we got whats available: Hot Chicken Sandwich - 8/10 Tasty & flavorful, bun is good. Hope they place a cheese :) Grilled Cheese Sandwich - 7/10 Tasted ordinary. I was expecting because of the good reviews but its just fair in taste. Cottage Fries - 8/10 Kakai pour over coffee - 9/10 Sheraken Coffee - 8/10 Hoping to taste your burgers when I come back here.

The people, the vibe, the place is so so beautiful!!! I ordered dirty horchata which was their best seller daw but it was too sweet! Like parang 200% sugar to the point that even after it melted the ice down, it was still peak sweet. One of us ordered the orange latte and I think it is much better. Over all, it was a good experience. I will come back, but order other drinks instead. Haha! Also when we came, may garage sale sila and we bought 3 jackets at 50 each. Good quality and clean kasi owned nila. WORTH IT!
Patricia G — Google review
They have great people behind those counters you see past so please treat them well, and thus they will to you, and also a wonderful family that owns the property. Besides that the coffee is locally sourced, they did down size their menu recently, so be weary of changes but nevertheless great choices, some choices you’ve got to take with a grain of salt but to each their own. This place will always be my go to if I need my solitude and coffee. Please enjoy, and tell me what you think.

Rebel Bakehouse is a game-changer in Baguio's culinary scene, offering a variety of delectable pastries with bold flavors and innovative brews. Located along Naguilian Road, this bakeshop and cafe has partnered with Hatch Coffee for their specialty coffee program. The spacious and peaceful setting provides a perfect refuge from the busy city, making it an ideal spot to savor their flaky and delicious croissants available in various flavors.
Disclaimer: I may have a different preference from you. :) Located just within the compound of the Baguio Cathedral, it is a good brunch place to dine in after attending mass. I went here on a Sunday, 10:00 AM, and there were more than enough seats inside. It is a good place to take a peaceful meal if you're alone. I tried the Beef Kimchi Rice, hot latte, and red velvet croissant. The Beef Kimchi Rice is good. It's quite filling. I bought the red velvet croissant because that's also what the female server recommended when I asked about their best sellers. The cream cheese filling inside the croissant is not too sweet. That's probably the highlight of my meal here. Although on the pricey side, it's still good to visit Rebel Bakehouse if you're in Baguio to try out their pastries.

Overall: This is a go to foodie splurge for the pastry gourmand taste ☺️ Food: So delicious. Tasted their food back when they started during the pandemic and the quality is still there, pasties are delicious and you can feel the love and care with each bite. Now, the love and care are still there. There are pastries that are appropriately priced, while other items might be overly expensive for others 😅 The smoked salmon in the croissant is just rightly salted, the sauce is creamy however it is a bit little (I prefer sauce/cream to be generous). The Leche Flan Danish is heavenly, overall it is not overly sweet, I would like that the danish itself is a bit more puffed or wide to balance the large Leche Flan which is creamy and caramely 😍 I tried the Burnt Basque Cheesecake as a takeout before and it was creamy and not overly sweet. Service: Staff is accomodating and others are friendly however I don't like that there is a service charge when I can just pick up my order at the counter when the order can be called, but that is just me and I hope the service charge is ethically given to the staff ☺️ Atmosphere: Wide dining area. I appreciate the open kitchen concept where you can view the pastries being made. The design has an industrial theme. I appreciate that there are a lot of fans making the area breezy to combat the heat.

My bf liked the Beef Kimchi Rice. Lemon Soda isn't a soda at all, it tasted weird. Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders isn't that good considering it is priced around the Beef Kimchi Rice.. f overpriced I feel. Good Danish Leche Flan, Ok spanish latte. Rebel/bakehouse salad is ok, tons of lettuce in it. The place is neat, big and designed premium, even if there are a lot of people, you won't feel it is crowded. The staff are great. Overall, are we going back again? Nope. Definitely not. We'll just go somewhere more affordable.

Rebel Bakehouse is spot my partner heard good things about from Direk Tonet and Direk JP of AWKP. And seriously, it did not disappoint! Food & Pastries Everything we ate and all the pastries were incredibly tasty and looked so good you just wanted to dive right in. Bacon & Egg with rice - 5/5: Loved the thick bacon, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, and that touch of maple syrup really made it. Breakfast Platter - 4/5: Good flavors overall, but the sausage was a bit thin for my taste, especially without rice. The bacon was different but still yummy. It also came with veggies and two sunny-side-up eggs. Classic Pan Au Chocolat - 4/5: I liked that the chocolate wasn't too sweet. Just wished there was more chocolate filling throughout, not just at the bottom. Leche Flan Danish - 5/5: A total must-try! So creamy, it just melts. I'm already planning to get this again. Drinks Affogato - 5/5: They use Carmen's Best ice cream, and it's a perfect match with the espresso. Hot Latte - 3/5: This one was a bit bland and arrived cold, so we had to add sugar syrup to fix it. Atmosphere & Service The staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a big dining area, including outdoor seating, and lots of fans to make the Baguio breeze even better.

Nestled along a bustling sidewalk near the Baguio Public Market, Cathy's Fastfood is a hidden gem that might easily slip under your radar. With its vibrant green accordion gate and charmingly worn yellow and red interiors, this eatery has become an iconic spot for locals. It’s not just about the food; it’s a gathering place for everyone from business owners to market-goers seeking comfort in familiar flavors.
I visited an old fast-food restaurant recommended by my wife. We ordered garlic buttered chicken and pork chop rice for takeout, while dining in with lechon rice and pancit bihon to fully experience the local flavors. I must say, the food did not disappoint! Everything tasted delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing, all at an affordable price. My wife and I truly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. If you're craving homemade-style meals with great taste, big servings, and budget-friendly prices, this place is a must-try. Plus, their staff is incredibly kind and accommodating!

Portion size is really good. I would say it is at a normal price range (P 150 - P 300) for regular restaurants. The taste is balanced - not super tasty, but tasty enough. It tasted “healthy” 🤣 The service and overall cleanliness can be improved. Self service for taking out your leftover food.

The place is in a good location, it was just near our stop from the loakan/dagsian jeepney parking. Went for brunch here. The place may seem small but it was big in the inside. Very accommodating staff. The food was good and tasted like those you eat at home, making it great. The buttered chicken was quite salty for me but not for my friend. Generous amount of vegetables for both the miki bihon pancit and lechon chopsuey. The shanghai rolls was small in size but a lot of the servings. Will definitely recommend for family or friends looking for budget friendly and good food around town in Baguio.

A good alternative if you're looking for affordable buttered chicken. (I'm a fan of goodtaste but it's now pricey) Went here to try buttered chicken and miki bihon pancit. The chicken was a bit salty for me, while the pancit was bland and had to put many calamansi to enjoy it. Overall, it's a good meal.

Been dining here since I was a kid, Cathy's Rice, Chao Kai Kim, and the Pansit are all time faves. Chao Kai Kim is their breaded fried chicken - very juicy and cooked to perfection! I love dipping mine in patis with calamansi. Tried the lechon soup, would stick with either 8 treasures or the egg drop instead. Cash payment.

Tried out this cafeteria located at Diego Silang street, off Session and Harrison roads because of the reviews of other locals. Food was ok for a cafeteria. Nothing special. Their Cathy's Rice came with a cup of rice, fried chicken, and vegetables. Ok na rin for the price. The pancit we ordered was also ok. Buttered chicken was heavily breaded, but was also ok. Will I go back? Ummmm, maybe not. There are other eateries that serve much better food and has a better ambience at about the same price point.

Rose Cafe is a small, hole-in-the-wall eatery in Baguio known for its Miki Guisado, a type of stir-fried noodles with generous slices of pork served steaming hot. The dish comes with a tasty soup and is best enjoyed with the provided calamansi, soy sauce, and chili condiment. While the pancit guisado and lechon kawali are popular choices here, some find them forgettable.
The best pancit guisado in Baguio city, my go to kainan since its affordable and just around town. It would be nice if they renovate the place and make it look more appealing.

A lot of Baguio locals love this place. Sad to say I am not one of them. I don't mind lining up and eating in a small place as long as the wait is worth it. I don't understand the hype. The soup broth was good. The lechon kawali was served cold but still crispy. But the pancit miki guisado was nothing special. Service was fast. Quick Review: I've tasted a lot of 'pancit' in my life may be it batil patong, canton, guisado, etc.. I even cooked my own and to my surprise, the hype on this pancit guisado is not even top notch or one of a kind. Price is not that justifiable (125 at the time). Few toppings (3-4 thins slices of meat, few slice of wombok, few strips of carrot and thats it), can still taste the miki from its pack (unwashed properly), the whole thing is soaking in a bland/watery soup and served in a small plate to make it look like a big serving. Place was easily accessible, interiors are gloomy and dim (most likely never had renovations), space is quite cramped and every table is shared. Cashier was somehow rude and kind of a snobber and was placed in an unusual location/placement. I, personally, would not even categorize it as a cafe (yet). It would be careless of me to judge the food by only the miki but that's what the place is famous for.

Super yummy po ng Pancit Miki Guisado. The place is a bit small and tight but the food is delicious and affordable. Laging pinipilahan. 😋👌❤️

Ask people where to score the best-tasting pancit in Baguio City and one of the places they will mention is Rose Café. Their pancit guisado is affordable and delicious. If you are not a big eater, one serving will be good for two people to share. Order one serving of pancit guisado and three pieces of pandesal for only 100 pesos and you’re good to go! Or course you may also try the other food items on their menu! The store is not that big and can only accommodate few diners at a time especially now that due to COVID-19 related health protocols in place and social/physical distancing must be observed. When we went recently, there was a long queue of dine-in as well as take-out customers. Also on queue were food delivery service riders.

Pancit guisado is so-so. Very forgettable even with the free soy chili sauce. Lechon kawali is served cold, but like what others said it is still crispy. Also the serving is generous. Fried chicken is like soy fried chicken and is served warm. Nothing special, but not bad at all. Clear broth is good! Very warming with a light taste. Counter personnel seems to be not very welcoming to non-locals. Also, some staff don't speak tagalog, so prepare yourself for understanding context clues. Overall, would go back for their lechon kawali and broth! Tip: if you're going for a take-out, skip the line then just proceed to the counter. Luckily, the locals are friendly enough to answer my question 😁

rose cafe is an old school Manila panciteria which happens to be located in Baguio. this place isn't for everyone, it is mostly for locals who want a quick filling meal, and they do stand by the pancit guisado here, which must be eaten with a good dusting of the provided pepper. Every spoonful must be accompanied by the provided chili toyomansi. The guisado broth is supposed to be poured into the bowl of plain broth that goes with the pancit. The other ulam items run out quickly, so come before the lunch rush. Be ready to stand in line for a few minutes during lunch time. Place could use some sprucing up

Italian restaurant
Amare La Cucina Microtel, located in the EGI Alberto Hotel, offers an authentic Italian dining experience with its own wood-fired brick oven for crafting traditional pizzas. The chefs hand-mold each pizza and top it with fresh ingredients before baking it at high temperatures. Guests can also enjoy a variety of dishes such as the Gorgonzola Pizza and Ultimate Cheesy Pasta.
Our top 1 pizza place! Amare La Cucina has been our go-to pizza place, way back when it only had a solo branch at Alegro. Even after relocating, Amare will always be part of our itinerary whenever we visit Baguio. The staff are always attentive and service is always superb. Pizza - always amazing! We usually order Alvin's pizza, best with their chili oil and crazy honey, and their signature Mint Iced Tea.
Rieon C — Google review
Bought pizza for takeaway out. Service was fast. Maya payment wasn't available at this time; good thing we have Gcash. Honey packet given is good enough for 1 slice. 3packets total;.cheapskate much? 😂 To the manager: elevate your customer experience. It is not enough knowing your pizza tastes good.
Joshua G — Google review
I decided to treat myself to a solo date, and this turned out to be the perfect place! The service was great, the food even more so, and the vibe was immaculate. I sat at a booth next to an open window and had a great time. I ordered the four-cheese spinach pizza and one of the spicier pastas. The serving sizes are accurate — meant to be shared by at least 2 people — so I had some food leftover for takeout. I also impulsively bought a gelato, which I don’t regret cause it tasted great as well. 10/10, definitely coming back.
VReianna — Google review
There are 2 branches of Amare in Baguio. This one’s in Microtel near Victory Liner Terminal. We came here coz this branch is nearer to our hotel. If you don’t mind the noise and smoke from the buses then this place is ok. Food is ok typical Italian food. What’s interesting is that you can try to make your own pizza which my kids tried! It was an experience, just ask the manager. We also tried their biscoff gelato, however we didn’t like it coz it barely tasted like Biscoff. But all in all, it’s worth visiting.
Christine L — Google review
This was the worst dining experience I’ve had at Amare. Soup (₱220) – Super bland; it tasted like water with truffle powder. The consistency was very runny, like plain broth. There’s no way this was worth ₱220. I added about five shakes of salt and still nothing. The mushrooms even tasted sour, as if they were spoiled. Pepperoni Pizza – The flavor profile was still there, but the pepperoni was poorly cooked. It reminded me of the pizzas sold by kuyas on bikes, where the ham is just slapped on top. There was no texture at all. I’ve dined at Amare five other times, and the pepperoni was always crusty and delicious. This was so disappointing. Pesto Pasta – Another letdown. The pesto sauce tasted like it came straight from a can, and the pasta was cold when served. I also ordered gelato and kindly asked the staff if I could have the yogurt flavor with just a tiny amount of chocolate (which I later learned is a premium flavor). The staff said yes and accommodated my request. But minutes later, I saw her being scolded by another server, and I was charged for the premium flavor without being informed. Could’ve just told me straight up but they were sneaky about billing me the higher price - honesty issues. Bad food, bad service. This experience has completely ruined Amare for me.
Kristine — Google review
The food is great, but it was kinda hot when we visited, windows cannot be opened fully at the function room. Though the staff are attentive. Better call them before visiting because it can get a little crowded. My favorite pasta would be Ala Sardines and Truffle and for pizza it would be Alvin’s! I just find their fried chicken a little bit bland. Overall, it was still a good dining experience.
JJ G — Google review
I am giving a 4 star review purely because the food was great and the serving staff were trying their best. Wanted to give 5 stars but could not. We had dinner around 8pm, so after the normal dinner time rush. Only two other tables eating at this time. The pepperoni pizza was cooked to perfection. Thin base with a nicely cooked light brown base and the crust just slightly raised. This was one of the best pizzas I have had here in the Philippines. Highly recommend if you are in the Baguio area and want a pizza. The salad was made from very fresh produce. We had the Marianne’s special salad, but it was missing the arugula. When we asked they brought us a plate of the arugula. (Note to check all the ingredients are there on your salads) If you like sweet beers, then you will love the pistachio beer here. I found it far too sweet. For me it tasted like it had the flavouring from coffee syrup. Last thing in true Filipino style all your food will be served as chef cooks it. Do not expect it all at the same time. We had a 10 minute wait from when the pizza arrived to when the chicken wings arrived.
Alisdair M — Google review
We ordered for take out, and the service was prompt and orderly. The staff were all very accommodating, but especially our server Joseah (sorry maybe wrong spelling). Every other staff member were very friendly and obliging to our questions. I like it here because it’s cozy, which is why I come back here every now and then.

The Rockyvalley offers a stunning panoramic view of the Benguet mountains and Loakan Airport's runway. The interior design reflects Cordilleran culture, and the restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery with ample parking space. Guests can enjoy unpretentious, fresh food served by friendly and attentive staff. Despite being a short drive from the city center, it provides a cozy atmosphere for dining or hosting events like office conferences. The entrance garden showcases impressive rock formations, adding to the scenic experience.
Truly a hidden gem in city of Baguio. The Lodge and Cafe are equally very good. The rooms are simple but functional. The view from the room is really beautiful. Outstanding vicinity courtesy of its beautiful garden. The foods at the cafe are really tasteful. A very family oriented establishment. They also have large parking spaces. The place is perfect as a venue for events like Weddings, Birthday Celebrations, Reunions and even Corporate Events. Highly recommended for those seeking serenity and wanted to be close to nature.

The place has great parking. Clean. But the food was just plain and not really delicious or worthy or returning. It was “OK” but compared to the other restaurants in town, it’s bland. Our food was constantly being assaulted by Agressive flies, that just would not go away. We had to fan the flies the whole time. They do charge a service charge, but we got no service at all other than take the order and pick up the money to pay. No plan to return.

Family went to eat dinner at the cafe and the place is really nice and was well kept. Good view of the scenic mountainsides as well as the city lights during the dark hours from comfort of the dining place. Although the place is not pet friendly, the staff accommodated me and my pet with a table outside of the dining area which was okay with me.

This place is so good! It's good for relaxation, away from the busy life of Baguio city. Their food is a bit pricey and I know it's because of the place. Imagine having your meal in this beautiful place, oh Lord! Thank you for creating this magical place. However, there's nothing special with their food tho. It's up to par.

We were surprised when we got inside the place. Wide parking spaces, great ambiance, mesmerizing views (you can see Loakan Airport from the restaurant’s veranda) and the food we ordered exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend their pizza and caramel macchiato! We will definitely go back.

The best view!!!! I like their pesto pasta, fish and chips, and fried chicken (garlic butter). 4/5 Their entrées are fine but 3/5 only. Their drinks are good. Matcha Latte 3.5/5 (too milky) Cloud Latte 4/5 (strong) Hot flower tea [refillable] 3.5 (sour???) Overall food 3.5/5, will probably go back for the view.

Thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rockeyvalley and dining at the wonderful resturant and café. You are surrounded by the best of nature with lots of beautiful tropical plants as well as the most stunning view from the restaurant. Truly a treat to eat such amazing food (such as the homemade oven-fired pizza, caramel macchiatos with homemade caramel and so many others) whilst subject to a beautiful, beautiful view of Baguio. The food is definitely great value for money because of this and the overall experience was one which I will not forget. Rockeyvalley at nighttime is so beautiful too, lit up with lights. My stroll around in the evening was very much enjoyed. Some other special mentions from me is the small artificial waterfall, with a room next to it where you can watch, relax and listen to the calming flow of water. Another would be the beautiful pine trees dotted in the land and just the variety of plants which have been wonderfully placed and are thriving. I would 100% recommend this play if you are looking for the best place to stay in Baguio, for a restaurant/café or both!

Nestled in Baguio, Raquel's Cuisine Forest House is a renowned establishment that faced closure during the pandemic. To support their loyal staff, they launched a food delivery service featuring Forest House's popular dishes. The restaurant offers a stunning mountain view and is known for its Baby Back Ribs, Bagnet Specials, and fresh salads from La Trinidad. With a cozy atmosphere and OPM music enhancing the dining experience, it's perfect for families or couples seeking a delightful meal.

We were looking for a restaurant near Marcos Highway far from the Baguio city proper. We wanted to eat somewhere quiet and relaxed for a change. Other than the difficulty with parking, we enjoyed our dining experience in this restaurant. Our servers have been very attentive and friendly. The only thing i would recommend for them to improve is to avoid the use of single-use plastic straws. As for the food quality, I enjoyed my Hainanese chicken. It was cooked well. They had several drinks but unfortunately their shakes are unavailable because they ran out of ice. They accept cash, gcash, and credit card payments. The view outside the dining area was also nice. Unfortunately, it's been raining so it is a bit wet to eat outside. The dining area can get loud as the space is small. They also have free WiFi in available.

Should have late lunch at Moch’s but the queue of cars were long. We’ve ask Ate if we could dine in here instead. Parking was difficult due to the big pick-up I had, relatively small parking and traffic. Got the bagnet kare-kare, salmon-butter, ube shake and quesadillas. And everything was great. Staff were attentive and helpful as we were the only dinners that time. It was so nice to get this chance since I had wanted to dine in the old forest house in loacan since I was a kid but closed due to covid. Better come here during lean tourist days.

🚕 Parking: Though it's tricky to park, it was still okay since there was enough parking space for our 3 vehicles. 😊 Service: 1. The food was served on time since we ordered in advance. 2. The receptionist/staff was always smiling and making sure we were comfortable and our orders were complete. 3. There were times that the waiter was downstairs. It could have been better if there was a bell so that when we needed help, we could easily call the waiter. 4. We just waited too long for the bill as there were minor mistakes with the computation. 🍽 Food: The food quality is similar to a five-star hotel or fine dining. It was pricey but worth it. We especially liked the soup and fried pampano. 🏠 Ambience: The ambience was perfect. We were able to see the sunset, and the place seemed to be exclusively ours that time. It feels homey and classy. Note: We called them for reservation.

When I went inside there was a soft atmosphere that feels like you’re in a fine dining restaurant. The OPM music really enhanced the dining experience for us. It felt like a movie for us. The service was very accommodating and kind. She was so attentive I just had to tip her. The food was also really really yummy and I mean YUMMY. I will recommend this to families who wants a gentle dining experience or even couples who’d want to enjoy a pleasant date night.

We were the only customers during our visit. Charming & breezy place, splendid view, and good service by the lone staff. Food was delish. A fan of their crispy bagnet, fried pampano and fresh lumpia. Road leading to the restaurant was narrow and dimly lit at night. The resto has at least three vehicle parking slots.

The cafe is kinda far away, and finding a taxi to go back to the city proper is challenging. However, I can say that the food and the view is worth it! This is a great place to view the sunset and if u want to relax from a busy week! It is perfect to come around 5-6 (to watch the sunset). I find it pricey though especially the beverages. Korean restaurant
Buffet restaurant
Restaurant
Located in Baguio City, Korean Palace Restaurant, also known as Kung Jeon Korean Palace Restaurant, is a popular eat-all-you-can KBBQ spot offering a wide selection of meats for Samgyeopsal and unlimited side dishes. The buffet-style method ensures efficient service and value for money. Additionally, the restaurant serves Folded Kimbap Sandwiches, a beloved Korean street snack.
Dog-friendly 🐶🤗 Okay, let’s be real — this place is definitely not luxury (which I normally go for), but come on… ₱500 for all-you-can-eat?! After living in Manila, that feels basically free. Let’s break it down: ✨ No, it’s not fancy — the place is a little old, not exactly spotless, and comfort is… well, let’s call it minimalist. 🍖 But for ₱500 per person, you can eat your weight in marinated meat, chicken, veggies, and soup. Just remember: if you leave food on the table, that’s another ₱500, so don’t get too excited with the tongs. 🔥 You cook your food yourself on a pan — no need to wait forever. Five minutes and boom, you’re eating. Honestly, it’s absolutely worth it. But seriously… how is this so cheap?! Manila, explain yourself. #baguio

I had a great experience at this Korean restaurant! They offer a wide selection of meats, including a new smoked duck option, which was fantastic. The variety of side dishes was impressive, and the dining area was spacious and comfortable. However, I noticed that the portable stoves weren’t very well maintained; they had some rust and remnants of oil. Additionally, they have implemented a 2-hour dining limit, which could be a downside for some. Overall, it’s a solid place to enjoy Korean BBQ!

Korean Palace Restaurant, also known as Kung Jeon Korean Palace, is a Korean barbecue buffet located along South Drive near Camp John Hay in Baguio. It offers an affordable all-you-can-eat experience, with a variety of meats and Korean side dishes. Guests can also wear traditional Korean hanbok costumes for photos. The restaurant is popular for its casual, family-friendly atmosphere and outdoor seating that complements Baguio’s cool climate. Service is generally considered friendly, though the place can get crowded and noisy during peak hours. Parking is available but limited. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option for Korean BBQ enthusiasts, offering a good variety with some room for improvement in food consistency and amenities.

Always my go-to spot whenever I’m in Baguio! Good food, super affordable, and really worth it. The meats are fresh, side dishes are plenty, and the vibe is chill. Perfect for big groups and long chats while grilling.

For me, this is the best samgyupsal-an in baguio. Why? Because everything is unli and it is up to you to choose which to get. And when I say everything, I mean from meat to side dishes and soup. Veggies seem fresh from the garden. For the tastes, I must say all is good. Plus they have a wide parking space too in case you're planning to go with your car

Side dishes already can make you full. Meat quality is excellent, ambiance is good and staff are friendly. Parking is also adequate. A value for price unli, the best in Baguio City.

Way Overpriced. For P499/Head, we've been to different places for the same or cheaper price with way much greater food selections. + The table was greasy, maybe you can spare some of what your charging your customers for some cleaning agents?

For me, it’s just a typical Korean restaurant that you can also experience in Metro Manila. The location is kinda far from our location as well so I don’t bother traveling here again just to experience korean food let alone in Baguio. The thing that makes this restaurant special was the amount of meat and side dishes options that they offer for less than 1000 pesos each.

Nestled in the heart of Baguio, Joseph's is a captivating destination that draws visitors not only for its stunning collection of Filipino bamboo and wood artworks but also for its intriguing haunted reputation. Constructed in the 1930s, this house whispers tales from the past, inviting those curious about both art and the supernatural. As you wander through its halls, you'll encounter an atmosphere thick with history and mystery.
The food is great. I love that it was used to be an old house. The atmosphere gave it a sophisticated yet hearty touch to the meal. Chef gave his pleasure after our meal and told us that they entertain walk-ins but we came in with our reservation as we are a large group. They took our orders ahead of time so they could serve us couple pf minutes after we arrive. 10/10 would eat again.
Jamila M — Google review
It is marketed as the fine dining location of Baguio, and despite the magnificent surroundings , it fell short. The reservation process of having to pick your meals when booking is new for us. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by staff. There was an efficiency of the whole operation which could almost be interpreted as clinical. Each meal was on a timeline and the experience felt like an appointment vs. a dining experience. We had to ask for a tour of the place when we heard the neighbouring table being offered one. Considering the reputation of the place , I would have thought this would be a major part of the experience. The staff are lovely , the meals were okay, just not memorable despite the beautiful setting. I wish that the produce ( if it was local ) would have been promoted more as a point of difference. The coffee on offer tasted quite metallic. Considering Baguio being known for locally roasted coffee, this was a disappointment. The surveys prior to the bill also felt like an exam. So much potential of this place, it just needs to be streamlined. It certainly is not a place I would be recommending to others visiting Baguio.

THERE IS POTENTIAL. — This is an honest review of our experience: 1. We reserved on the day itself and it went smoothly. 2. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anthony, the staff. 3. We were seated on the veranda and waited for our orders. Our orders were Set A and E. The appetizers were good. The mains were okay but I have tasted better elsewhere. Our expectations were high given this is a fine dining restaurant. My herb crusted lamb does not have an herb crust. I would have expected it to be there at the very least. As for the dessert, the poached pear was good. Though the strawberry tart needs improvement with the crust. It was not good enough that my partner did not finish it. There is potential however, given the price point and the taste of food, I’d rather eat in Cafe by the Ruins until there is improvement in Joseph’s

Wonderful dining experience in Baguio. The Laperal White House has been wonderfully restored to a fine dining establishment. Excellent food and excellent service. The staff was friendly and efficient (thank you Ram!). A tour of the house was included with our meal. They made us feel so welcomed. Do make reservations. We changed our dining plans from another restaurant and called at 11:30am and they were able to accommodate us with a table for two for a 4pm dining. This was on a weekday. The website allows reservations at least 24 hours prior and is highly recommended. Do expect a deposit when making the reservation to ensure your patronage, but be assured it is well worth it. The restaurant boasts a nice wine list and ages their own beef. I didn’t have the beef this time, but do plan to re-visit soon as I live just down the street. The duck was not available this evening however. The staff made our special occasion even more special with a birthday treat and song. Thank you again! All-in-all truly one of Baguio’s best dining experiences that shouldn’t be missed.

We Stepped into a slice of history last week at the iconic Laperal House—and wow, what an unforgettable experience! The vintage charm, paired with its hauntingly beautiful elegance, made every corner feel like a portal to the past. It was surreal in the best possible way. Big thanks to the ever-warm and wonderful Ate Lovely and all the staffs for guiding us—their stories made everything come alive even more!

Incredible dining experience. Every bite was exquisite and the staff will bend over backwards to make sure you’re having the best time. We were offered a tour of the property and the historical significance & stunning architecture of the house only added to our experience. But back to the food - I cannot underline enough how good everything is here. Nothing is artificial - even their strawberry margarita was made with high end tequila and real strawberry purée. From the soups, to the salads, breads, butters and meats - literally everything is incredible. We came back two days in row just to try more of their dishes and hope to come back on future trips. One note - I know they require payment in advance, but I’m pretty sure that’s just so they can adequately plan their operations. The dining is so exclusive that you may be their only customer at a given time. That - and some of their dishes require a lot of prep work so they likely have to plan in advance. Don’t let that requirement deter you - the meal and service are well worth it.

Sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, perfect for a special night out or a leisurely meal. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every dish, from the perfectly cooked steaks to the vibrant salads. The dessert menu is also worth exploring. While the cost may be higher, the experience and meal quality make it a worthwhile investment for a special occasion. It’s a top choice for those looking to enjoy a refined meal in a unique and elegant setting.

Hotel
Nestled in the tranquil mountains of Baguio, The Manor at Camp John Hay is a sophisticated hotel set within a sprawling former US military complex. Its elegant ambiance and range of amenities make it an ideal retreat for couples, families, and friends. The hotel's restaurant, Le Chef, offers a diverse menu from classic to modern dishes, including the popular French Onion Soup and Baked Chilean Sea Bass.
Staying at The Manor at Camp John Hay in Baguio felt like escaping into a mountain sanctuary. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the grandeur of the building surrounded by tall pine trees and perfectly manicured gardens. The cool mountain air, combined with the serene setting, immediately gave me a sense of peace and relaxation that is hard to find in busy city life. The hotel itself blends luxury with rustic charm. The interiors were warm and inviting, with wooden accents, fireplaces, and a cozy ambiance that perfectly matched the mountain atmosphere. My room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the gardens. Waking up to the sight of mist slowly lifting from the pine trees was nothing short of magical. Service at The Manor was outstanding. The staff were attentive, polite, and always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The food at their restaurant was another highlight—freshly prepared dishes that showcased both local and international flavors. Breakfast in particular was delightful, with a wide variety of choices and a setting that made me want to linger longer. What I loved most, however, was the overall experience of staying there. The Manor is more than just a place to sleep—it’s a retreat where you can reconnect with nature, slow down, and recharge. Whether it’s sipping coffee in the garden, enjoying live music in the evening, or simply strolling around the pine-filled grounds, every moment felt special. I would highly recommend The Manor to anyone visiting Baguio who wants to enjoy both comfort and an authentic mountain retreat.

A Memorable Stay at The Manor – Beautiful Grounds but Shower Needs Fixing We recently stayed at The Manor at Camp John Hay and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The large open lawns are beautifully maintained and provide ample space for children to run around and enjoy themselves—truly a highlight for families. The facilities at the hotel are also sufficient to keep guests engaged, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely walk, a relaxing meal, or simply some quiet time in nature. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and clean, with a warm, cozy ambiance that fits well with the Baguio setting. Housekeeping was consistent, and everything felt tidy and well-prepared. However, a major issue we encountered was with the shower system. The water temperature would suddenly fluctuate—from completely cold to scalding hot—without any change in the tap or shower head position. This made showering quite difficult and at times unsafe, especially for children. We hope the hotel management addresses this soon as it significantly affected an otherwise comfortable stay. As always in the Philippines, the staff were outstanding—polite, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. Their hospitality added a lot to our experience. In summary, The Manor offers a lovely setting with excellent service and family-friendly spaces, but the shower issue definitely needs attention.

Don’t book it in Agoda or booking, more expensive than 20% from official website Honestly, this is a nearby star-rated hotel, and it is indeed quite upscale. Based on the price range, however, I have to point out some areas that could be improved. Restaurant:💚 The food quality is excellent, reasonably priced, and offers plenty of choices. The set menus are a good option. However, for some reason, the outdoor dining area has a noticeable high-pitched noise issue. Room:🥲 The rooms are a bit outdated. The shower water pressure for hot water is very weak. Soundproofing is poor—you can easily hear noises from the hallway, especially children screaming, which makes it difficult to fall asleep or often wakes you up. Due to the humidity, the doors cannot be closed or opened smoothly. Combined with the loud door slamming from other guests and housekeeping starting as early as 6–7 AM, we were unable to rest properly for two full days. Even afternoon nap hours coincided with housekeeping activities, which was very disruptive. Staff:❤️ All staff members were friendly, always smiling, and very polite. Their uniforms and appearance were kept very neat. Price:🥹 The room rates are in the mid-to-high range. Early check-in fees are extremely expensive (over 75% of the room rate). Considering this, the condition of the rooms feels disproportionate to the price. Environment: The overall environment is very peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are equipped with dehumidifiers, which is thoughtful and makes the stay more comfortable. Bar:💃 The live performers in the evening were excellent. However, since there are rooms directly above, the bar closes at 10:30 PM, which guests should keep in mind.

I booked via agoda and we booked an expensive rooms. Initially, we were told the room would be in the first floor. Mind you, the only reason we booked expensive rooms is for us to have the best stay. My American was livid- he said he wont accept it. I agree with him because literally the room that they were trying to give us is next to the restaurant. And when you open the balcony voila! Everyone can see you firsthand! When they saw that we wont budge in, they offered the higher floor room and gave us a complimentary voucher. Like why it has to happened this way? Regardless where the guest book its room via agoda or your own web a customer service is a service! It was just frowned upon because as a Filipina, flaunting the beautiful attitude towards other nation, tapos yan igaganti nyo. The rooms are expensive mind you even via agoda. Is this a policy in your hotel? Also, after checking in, we contacted our friend who is a frequent guest in your hotel, dun lng kmi todo inasikaso like really? Dahil may kakilala kami sa hotel management pano ung iba na walang kakilala? Pano ung iba na walang foreigner na susuway na ssbhin for what you paid for that room is not appropriate! Prang hostel style ung inoffer samin nun una for 10-15k/ night yan ha, no issue sa money pero sana ung ioffer nyo sa ganung amount ay makes sense naman. Be nicer management, sabihan nyo kung sinuman ang in charge sa check-in, thats not nice! Dapat maorient kayo. This is the reason why I dont book this hotel anymore. Ive been to many countries, asia europe and US, they always offer the best, tapos sa sarili kong bansa yan, nakakahiya. Pls do better.

I’m extremely disappointed with John Hay Hotels (formerly The Manor at Camp John Hay). During my stay, I left my charger plugged into the wall outlet beside the bed, and I’m 100% sure of it. When I reported it, the hotel claimed that after their “investigation,” nothing was found. Let’s be honest — if every staff member who entered the room after checkout says they didn’t see anything, then someone took it and everyone covered for each other. That’s theft, not an accident. It’s heartbreaking to see how this once-trusted hotel has fallen under Landco Management. What used to be a respected establishment is now a place where guests can’t even feel safe leaving their belongings. Terrible experience. I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise other guests to think twice before booking. This hotel clearly protects dishonest staff instead of guests.
Tonchi C — Google review
The hotel has a very disappointing and discriminatory policy toward walk-in guests. We just wanted to dine, but they required us to pay an entrance fee and even wear an unattractive bracelet just to enter. This gives the place a very unwelcoming and unpleasant impression. Walk-in diners should be treated with respect, not like outsiders. Definitely not the experience we expected.

Pros: Beautiful nearby hike, clean and well-maintained (though dated), delicious and affordable restaurant. Cons: Be warned if you have kids, activities are limited due to closures, and the popular pickleball courts are impossible to book as hotel guests aren't prioritized over outsiders. In short: A pleasant stay overall, but frustrating for families due to a lack of accessible activities.
Alain V — Google review
Pros: A beautiful nearby hike, clean (though dated) facilities, and a delicious, affordable restaurant. Cons: Limited activities for families, compounded by the fact that the popular pickleball courts are impossible to book, as the hotel doesn't prioritize its own guests. In short: Pleasant for adults, but frustrating for families due to the lack of accessible activities.

That Little Cafe, situated on the sixth floor of Orchard Hotel Baguio, is a popular spot known for its trendy ambiance and Instagram-worthy decor. It's a favorite breakfast spot for hotel guests. The cafe offers delicious and generously portioned food at reasonable prices. With a 180-degree view of the Baguio skyline, it provides an unparalleled dining experience. Visitors can enjoy Western dishes while taking in the stunning city views through the large windows.
This was a nice surprise, the food was good for its price. The ambience was also very nice. Our server was not that efficient. But maybe he's just new. But would totally comeback again, the salad and pumpik soup is very goood

Food is delicious, the amount is plenty and on par with its price. The pastas were tasty, the pad thai was flavorful but lacked spiciness. The Pinuneg with strawberry sauce was ok but not as tasty as we would have had in the province. The teriyaki chicken was juicy. The sisig was awesome, just the right amount of spicy and savory, not overly mayonnaised. The nachos were also flavorful especially the toppings. The ribs were ok, a bit sweet and there were tough and soft parts. The strawberry cheesecake was just right, the cheesecake was not overly gelatinous in texture and pairs well with the strawberry topping. The drinks were ok too. The staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. They had full on halloween decorations this halloween season, the staff were also clad in the theme. Overall, a great place to chill out and dine.

Our usual event place for seminars. Its a good location with an over-looking view of Baguio. It is accessible to a lot of transportation vehicles and provides a wide space for parking. The staffs were approachable and attended to our needs. The foods were rich in flavor too.

Great place to go during the wee hours at night. The live band's relaxing, ambience is great with a wonderful view of the city lights. Food was amazing and good for its price. Service was exceptional. We ordered different drinks to try. We can't choose which one is our fave.

We spent a night at The Orchard Hotel. Breakfast in That Little Café was included as part of our stay. The breakfast buffet is nice, not spectacular, but good. Lots of Filipino options. There was some fabulous raisin bread as one of the bread choices. Omelets are small but made to order. My favorite part of breakfast was that I ordered hot tea and they delivered a beautiful teapot to our table! That was a delightful surprise! The employees were all cheerful and helpful. The star of this café, in addition to the staff, is the beautiful view of Baguio that guests can enjoy while eating. We’d like to try the dinner menu next time we visit.

Looks good on photos but taste is 5/10. If not mistaken this is the restaurant of the orchard hotel. Serving is cute but their food is only good as pulutan. If you are looking for a meal go to the King chef restaurant on the ground floor. They have better food and good choices.
Meriam D — Google review
Absolutley the worst service I've experienced. Once seated I waited 30 minutes before flagging down someone to take my order. There were only 4 other occupied tables so it was not busy at all. Totally felt ignored. I ordered a beer and chicken fingers with fries. They gave me a warm beer that wasn't even refrigerated. The food was terrible. I only ate 3 French fries and 1 chicken finger. Couldn't bare to eat anymore so it was wasted. There are other restaurants in walking distance that are amazing. So this isn't your only option if you are staying at the Orchard Hotel. Only 1 thing was nice - a live singer playing the guitar for ambiance.

A pleasant interior with a lovely view of Baguio. The food is delicious, light, and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice presentation, the light cooking style (not fatty at all), and the fresh vegetable sides. Great craft beer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A family-friendly place.

Mexican restaurant
La Sabores Cartel is a new addition to the dining scene in Baguio, conveniently located near Mines View Park. The restaurant offers a Mexican culinary experience and boasts a picturesque view of the Itogon mountains. One of its highlights is the option to customize your order from their selection of flavors when you avail their unlimited wings-tacos-fries-burgers promo for an affordable price.
We arrived at La Sabores Cartel at around 11 on a Saturday morning. This is just a walking distance from Mines View Park. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and surroundings. The place is also clean and doesn't have any unpleasant smell. The staff were also polite and didn't have a bad attitude. We ordered beef birria for our snacks, it was served after 15 minutes. The beef birria was served with a bunch of sauces and freshly cut and cooked fries. It cost us around 330 pesos and it can feed two people. The consomme sauce was good especially when paired with the taco and the fries. Their habanero salsa tastes very good. It was hotter than other sauces as it should be and has the great balance of taste and spiciness. Their food is quite cheap but it does not affect the quality of their product. My partner and I had a great time dining with them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Taqueria in Baguio 🌮 Got the burrito, quesadilla, chochinita, birria & more. This is one good Taqueria. Much better than the ones in the malls. Not your typical fast food commercial flavors. Everything is just satisfying even the salsa & the sauces but the tortillas are a little on the sweet side to accommodate the pinoy palate nevertheless portions are shareable & rich in flavors. Just skip their burgers & focus more on the tacos! You'll like it. 😋 The sabor is a 4.1 🍎 out of 5 on our scale! 😁 #SolidFoodie🍎

The burrito was delicious! I had the chicken burrito, and my fiancée went with the shrimp burrito—both were solid choices. The carne asada fries were just okay; unfortunately, they were served cold, which took away from the experience. Service could use some improvement, but overall, it’s a decent Mexican restaurant—speaking as a Mexican myself.
Roquie H — Google review
Unique ambiance. Went there at night so we weren't able to check out the view from their verandah. It was kinda gloomy but it might have been the ambiance management was after. Food is awesome and reasonably priced. Tried their best sellers: Beef Biria & the Mexican Cheese burger. We sure were not disappointed. Highly recommended. Had to get the burger to go as the biria was enough to stuff us full. Dishes came with fries. The dips and sauces were very good. The biria sauce was like spicy bulalo broth. Didn't let it go to waste. Service is nice. Recommend going there during off hours and on weekdays as parking will be a challenge. Walking distance from Mines View.
Hector V — Google review
Food:3.5/5 Ambiance:2/5 The price justifies the serving because of the generous serving size of side dishes. Don't expect much on the birria tacos, though; the consomme was disappointing, and it has no cheese, but It was good nonetheless. The quesadilla and Mexican burger are a must-try. If you are looking for an aesthetic place, this is not the place.
G A — Google review
Great ambiance and beautiful views of the rolling hills of Baguio. We ordered cheese quesadillas, shrimp tacos, and pulled pork burrito. Overall, flavors and ingredients are quite basic. The spicy salsa is the most authentic and flavorful of the sauces. But the cheese does not melt properly, and the other salsas are not made with fresh ingredients. For a cool, unique setting and something different, I recommend the place. For authentic Mexican food and good value for your money, there are better options in Baguio.
Brendan R — Google review
There are a lot of unavailable items in their menu but what we ordered were scrumptious! We were surprised how big the servings were. If you want a full tummy, one burrito is already enough with its contents. Very easy to locate since it is judt near mines view hotel. We sat at the narrow balcony area with the view of few city lights view while enjoying the cold breeze. Only downside is that their common restroom was very smelly and the door doesn't have a lock. A stool was inside (which I assumed since it's what I did lol) to use it for blocking the door from inside.

Amazing food! We had our first dinner date as husband and wife here, and it didn't disappoint! Perfect recovery/stressbuster/foodtrip! The wings are perfectly cooked, the flavors are just right. The cheese quesadillas are godsend! Kudos to the chef!

Tudor in the Pines is a charming estate nestled in Baguio's pinewood forests, offering five cozy Airbnbs including glass treehouses like Pine Cone and Pine Needle. These unique accommodations are perched 30 feet above the ground and connected by a hanging bridge to the main structure. The Tudor House, their largest dwelling, features a sky roof and glasshouse lounge ideal for capturing post-nuptial photos.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Tudor in the Pines and the Pinecone Treehouse. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, private, and very Instagram worthy. The property truly is beautiful. What really stood out to me was the hospitality and kindness of the hosts and staff. I highly recommend this stay!

We stayed at Pine cone treehouse recently. It was a lovely experience overall. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it a great getaway spot. The surrounding and glass cabin was breathtaking, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. That said, I didn’t realize beforehand that the stairs inside the cabin were so steep. For families with young children or anyone with mobility issues, this could be a significant concern. Adding safety features, like a handrail or a gate, could make it more accessible for everyone. Despite this, we had a great time and enjoyed the unique charm of the cabin. It’s a wonderful place for those who can manage the stairs, and I’d recommend it for couples or families with older children. Thank you for hosting us!
Saan M — Google review
I had high hopes for my stay but unfortunately it ended up being the worst place we stayed in the country. First of all, there were planned electricity outages for most of our stay that the host did not alert us about (or we would have cancelled) - this meant that we had no air conditioning or hot water, and we literally had to pay to go to another hotel during the day since the heat was so unbearable. There is also a camera outside the bedroom that can very clearly see in that we are not told about, I find this really inappropriate and it should be removed. They do warn you about noise from dogs but it goes far beyond this - it is next to a busy road so you hear honking all night long and roosters as well - we literally did not sleep for two nights even with earplugs in. Also since there are no restaurants nearby and no way to cook at the site you are basically stuck ordering food all the time. We really wanted a mountain getaway, but this is definitely not it - go elsewhere.

Beautiful view of Farmville in front of the Cafe. Food looks appetizing and delicious 😋 but service was somehow slow during our visit. Nice stop over and unique inverted architectural design of the cafe 🙂 👌 😌.
Fritzie B — Google review
A hidden gem, mainly because unless you look real hard, you won't be able to locate this place. Manong Rey, the in-house personnel, was really accommodating. He, as well as the whole place embodies the famed Ilokano hospitality. I've been to numerous places, and Ilokano hospitality is definitely up there. The Pine Cone, our accomodation for 2 nights, was incredibly beautiful. You need to use a hanging bridge to get there though, so keep that in mind. Since the hanging bridge wobbles, whenever someone crosses the bridge, the Pine Cone (treehouse) wobbles along with it (but only a little). My wife and I loved the glass walls/ceilings, especially when it rained. It was very relaxing, and there were also minimal external noise. So if you want hear nature, then you got it. A few nit-picks from my wife (but it doesn't really ruin the experience): - the stairs in The Pine Cone is a little narrow, and may be dangerous to people with big feet - the lighting in the bathroom; the natural light works great, but when it's night time, it's hard to take a shower if you can barely see what you're doing My wife and I recommend that if you choose to stay here, do yourself a favor and stay for at least 2 nights.

Tudor in the Pines, one of the most luxurious lodging facilities in Baguio City is dedicated to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating stay! Divided into different rooms and cottages with each unique feature you can surely find the perfect accommodation for your friends and family! This place is also great for intimate celebrations, book an overnight stay and celebrate with up to 10 pax at the Tudor house for smaller groups you may choose the Forest Terraces, Garden Terrace or Royal Cottage which can hold 4-6 pax or better yet book the whole facility and enjoy up to 30 pax :)
