Absolutely delightful, first time I experienced that I got new fresh bottle of water after we just had not even a half of it, just so it’s more fresh. Same with the fresh home made bread and aioli that was to die for. Have no words for the food, everything was perfect. Definitely recommend their Carpaccio! And the service was very pleasant, respectful and patient. Great first impression of Fredericia city!

Great fusion-style tapas (some parts Danish, som Spanish, a few other). Very nice staff! After an innocent misunderstanding, they freely compensated us. Slightly overcooked meat in general but great flavours. Great atmosphere - calm and quiet.

Had an absolute amazing time the portion is very filling, the sangrias are fresh and balanced ( and different to what we had experianced otehr places). The service was on point, very entire and kind and able to awnser and explain to any question

Super nice tapas spot in Fredericia. Service was spot-on—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Each dish cost 55 kr,ø and when they arrived we seriously thought we’d accidentally ordered three of everything since portions were surprisingly big (which was great). We ordered 7 different dishes for two adults and a child, ending up just above 500 kr in total incl. drinks, and we were definitely full afterward. We could probably have done with one dish less. Pork cheeks, albondigas, and grilled mini peppers were especially delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Sat in a cozy courtyard with a relaxed vibe, food arrived quickly, and it wasn’t crowded at all. Solid value for money. Definitely recommend and would come again next time we’re in Fredericia.

Really cosy and nice little restaurant. We went for lunch and they have a good selection of dishes on the menu. We went with one tapas and one lunch plate and they were both very good. Warm recommendations from us.

The food is good and tasty. I hope they can change the menu from time to time so I can come here often. I have been here four times, but it's still the same menu, so I'm hoping they can work on that. The food, service, and atmosphere are nice.

Great tasting smorrebrod and a unique version compared to the regular ones you find in Denmark. Healthier too I might say, haha. The Hangover killer that I had was tasty too but I would have preferred some sausages, more bacon and some beans too. This version was tasty but very green too, not a bad thing I would have to say.

Many vegan meals, not just salad options, very tasty! I highly recommend the vegan brunch, the tuna-fri dish and the wrap. For desert, pancakes with chocolate! Vegan, gluten free, vegetarian and meat options available!

This is a great place ! Nice and cozy seating area inside and outside, with the inside even decorated with some artwork on the walls. The food menu is a bit small, with prices on the higher side. It seems they are going for fewer items but done better, which makes sense. The schnitzel is very good, and Im definitely coming back for that another time. The service was impressive too. The young chap worked with tireless efficiency and was always friendly, smiling and helpful even when things got busy.

Lovely little cafe that is known for their extravagant and delicious cheeseboard. It's a great place to relax on the main stream and enjoy the weather. They have one bathroom and there is free WiFi, but it isn't the strongest.

The food was incredibly good, we got one of the Mair's interpretation of the smørrebrød & the Walk of Shame:) Definitely try the Walk of Shame if you are a fan of bacon end eggs and you are around! 🥓🍳 Also had some really good irish coffees, that we enjoyed in the cozy cafe. Awesome music, insanely cool decor & art and last but not least really good vibes. Super nice staff, super service quality! It's been really tough finding a good coffee shop in Fredericia, but thank God we found Mair's. By far, the best coffee shop in town! ☕

Great place. Clean, friendly, good service, great quality food. Had the vegan wrap and the brunch platter, both surprised me with the quality. Also good beer on draft.

A wonderful Mother’s Day brunch with a variety of small portions. Everything tasted delicious 🤤 and we would definitely come back and can recommend.

Great dinner and service at Ti trin ned. Missing some consistency across the dishes - some were good and some were great - nothing to complain about! Got the option to “upgrade” a dish with caviar which I find a bit annoying when dining at a one star Michelin restaurant - if the chef thinks that the dish needs caviar then make sure it comes with caviar. Enjoyed a bottle Chartogne Taillet Les Barres Extra Brut which complements the menu fantastically - the low dosage was a great choice by my wife :-)

We went there to celebrate a family event. We have really appreciated the food, the wine and the service : professional and very friendly at the same time. Thank you to all the team for the unique experience.

Very delicious dishes and a extraordinary well-composed holistic experience. As in any Michelin restaurant (that I have tried), each dish was extremely delicious. On top of that, this restaurant has managed to tie the individual dishes together in a way that sort told a holistic story. Moreover, the arrangement or design of the dishes in some cases went beyond the dish itself. E.g. when a seafood appetizer is put on top of a small transparent container acting as plate that was arranged as a little beach with seashell and more. Beautiful, delicate and above all very tasty.

Amazing. A really wonderfull evening. Lovely resturant, very nice personel. The food was a big experince and great wine. Wonderfull combination. First time ever on a michelin resturant. The bread was SO good, and offcource the whole meny was good. Easy to find.

Surprising and ingeneous combination of ingrediens in the menu - definately based on the seasonal availability (preserved or fresh). But it works! Especially combined with one of the wine menus. I really appreciated the experimental wine menu with wines from weird and wonderful places (places you'd never expect to grow grapes!). Kudos to the sommelier! The wine paring just elevates the entire experience.

Luckily, I that had the chance to try the food in here. It was fantastic taste!!! Also I like the interior of the restaurant. It decorates in kind of the loft-industrial style, which is full of the ceiling lighting. There are several of furniture selected with the reasonable distance. The food was delicious those going along with a good atmosphere. Moreover, it is friendly to all the user types, supporting an disabilities user too. • Universal design checked.• We have chosen the season-course menu and wine course which provided 4 serving, however, we decided to skip the cheese menu because both of us are not the bigg fan of cheese. (Of course, a port wine also was skipped.) I was impressed how they could serve the fantastic dishes, especially, the white fish was well-cooked and I LOVE this dessert! MUST TRY! However, in my opinion, I felt the wine which were for the first dish(the white fish.) and the main dish( the beef steak) Those are good but those did not go well that much with the food, if there could be more favors, it would be perfect!

Great potential. Amazing experience, which just got better. It was like they read my mind as the night progressed. I hope the owner will read this, if they wish to become a high-end restaurant. The potential is there. I ordered the season menu (didn’t get pictures of it all - sorry) The good - the wine was amazingly matched to the food. - they introduced the menu better and better as the night progressed - the cheese was well balanced with complementaries. - the timing between servings was good - and adjusted to your needs - waitresses available when you needed it - well balanced menus The bad - Food not introduced in first servings - wine not introduced, when I asked for it, I just got the menu to read it myself - the bread of the starter was cold and no small plate for the olive oil The ugly - the fish was good, but not fresh as expected at a restaurant like this - the meat in main dish was only supermarket quality - you would expect better at that price The feedback is meant to inspire to the next level restaurant.

The food is wonderful, the location is great with easy close parking. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Sadly the service was beyond poor. I like it when the waiting staff are not constantly interrupting you, however, that needs to be supported with a vigilant team. I ordered a wine between my starter and main course, the waiter failed to check if anyone else wanted drinks at the table. We waited over 25 minutes for the desserts to be served, again it took time to catch the attention of the waiting staff. After dessert we were left, no one came to check if we wanted anything else. There was no eye contact from staff milling around. After 15 minutes of attempting to catch the eye of the staff member, I'd lost my temper, had it not been for my wife, I would have walked out without paying. It wasn't busy, there is no excuse.

Exterior is charming, restaurant is great and staff is friendly. To address some of the negative reviews: I don’t believe I ever got the impression that this is a modern luxury hotel. If you adapt your expectations to what it is – a charming stay on the way to or from somewhere you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is great especially for a roadside hotel and staff is friendly. If you’re concerned about older decor – just book one of the nicer rooms, the price difference is not huge. If you want to stay someplace modern – book a modern hotel from one of the chains.

Under constractin. Rooms small,out dated. Bathroom terible, drainage in shower plug . Fungus on bathroom wall. Room was very hot . Ask for fan got awser , we dont have it (we are not prepared for warm weather like that).

We saw on booking nice photo of hotel, so we came there with car and was looking very good… but when we enter inside, it was already smell and everything looks like from 70s. But when we came to the room, that was a biggest shock in our life! Room was very muffy, stinky, very old. After 10.30 pm we came back to the room and we wanted to go sleep. Room was very noisy (probably from pump from swimingpool) so we have called to emergency reception number, and we got new room. In the morning we woke up and we find out that main light in the room was not working.. We pack our stuff and went away! Never again. This is really worst hotel I ever seen…

What a bad experience I had at my stay in your hotel. Old muffy rooms. Looks like the 70s. Very noisy (some pump of the swimming pool) ? Getting an other room in the basement at 10.30 pm. Main light in the room didn't work. Again that muffy old smell. A 4 stars rank on booking, what a joke..

We spent the night at this hotel and were very pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly. The room, though small, was clean, but there was no soap in the shower at all. The breakfast was excellent — tasty and varied. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything was delicious, compliments to the chef!

Old and stylish hotel on the country side. I liked the atmosphere and style of the hotel. The room was a big downside tho. Little to no power outlets and interior being too old and worn down. No glasses in rooms only plastic cups. Tv was a damaged 2011 LG 32" and should be replaced. Bathroom showers had fixed shower heads which are not so hygienic, and gave us a massive headache when trying to get propper cleaned. This hotel has so much potential, but feels like a super budget hotel from the rooms standpoint but a good looking midrange hotel from the outside. Breakfast was super tasty! Compliment to the kitchen!

The pizza traumatised my partner and the price traumatised my wallet ... There was too much cheese to really call it a Margherita, it was more like a 4 formaggi from the 1 dollar store (according to my partner). Also they don't serve smoothies after 5 pm which is a bit ridiculous, who says you can't have a smoothie in the evening? Unbelievable! Never coming again 😔The tomato soup was good 🍲 If you come here I'd recommend not being more than a couple of people, as it will get expensive and may shock the person paying... Maybe there should be a sign outside telling people how much it can cost per person on average (as not everyone can scan the QR code on the wall outside to check the prices)

Very nice place lovely deco and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Ordered food and didn't have to wait too long for our food. I can the food was presented lovely and can't complain about the portion size. Had a very pleasant afternoon. I will definitely be back for another visit when I return back to Denmark.

Good food? The Formaggi pizza was very good, real goat cheese and the sun-dried tomatoes savory. The large wine is pricey but generous. The self pay is extremely slow fix it for five stars. Pricey$$$ but worth it. Pizza + Large Wine + beer =USD$37.00

Not the perfect restaurant, but a wonderful place to dine in summer. Looking through the restaurant's strengths we find outdoor seating with a view, plenty of variation on the menu and most notably, very large portions. My "Classic" hamburger really satisfied me, and I didn't need to ask anymore. On the downsides we find that there was limited service (you have to order the dishes by yourself before they arrive) and expensive burgers – you'll be paying around €20 for a double patty. For this reason four stars is the maximum I can give. (On a side note, the quality of the meat is debatable. I found mine perfect, but my father said it was too burnt...)

Lovely setting but somehow shocking prices! ( For tourists from the UK). I thought having a coffee out in the UK was expensive but this was out there! One glass of wine and 3 coffees were over 40GB . . .we have had coffees elsewhere ( we went on to Svendborg) they were not this price. However.. .nice coffee. . Not exhilarating service but there you go!.

Food was good but for a Marina restaurant the menu is quite disappointing with only 2 dishes with fish. It was also quite expensive. But the biggest complain is about the service. First comment by the waiter was "no stroller inside". ( It was lunch time, only 2 other tables...) And I would have preferred a " Welcome, hello..." first. Also, I wanted to ask a question to the waiter... but he was smoking during the service. Not really professional... I stayed 5 min waiting and no one to talk to while the kitchen was sending meals and no one was serving.. I will not come back.

If you are white person or family and talk like a Dane and look like a Dane then I am sure it is a good nice place. I am a brown person and a Danish citizen. I am writing in English so that I can warn the tourists who does not speak Danish. So we came as 4 brown people around 15:30 to have a light lunch and some drinks next to the harbor. We had casual cafe clothes (shorts, jeans) on and got a full scan from head to toe just before the waitress had to ask someone before we can be seated in the 90% empty place. The section close to the harbor was 90% empty, there was nobody but for some reason all tables were reserved for dinner (18:00 onwards) already at 15:30. We wanted to stay only 1 hour and we said that to the waiter there and we could not get a table with a view. We had to sit inside behind the door with absolutely no view (ok we could look at the kitchen and toilet). We were tired from shopping and made a pit stop there. We ordered snacks and cocktails but they didn’t bother give us napkins and cutlery to eat with. It felt like we disturbed them. We sat there until 17:00 and paid nicely the bill for 700dkk (which was ok with us by the way, we know how much cocktails costs:) because we wanted to give our guests a good Fredericia experience despite the strange attitude of waiters and the bad rain at that day. The person who charged the 700dkk was very suspicious whether my card will work or not, when it worked he was so surprised and relieved. Come on! There was absolutely nobody in other tables when we left 17:00 o’clock. Why does a place like this reserve ALL TABLES already during the day for reservations coming at 18:00? So strange! And our guests now believe that Fredericia has racist cafes. If this was not racism then it is still very impolite way of hosting customers. Such a shame that this nice place does not welcome walk in lunch time customers who wants to have a drink and go away. This place is not a cafe, it is a restaurant. Don’t bother go there during lunch time.

This restaurant is situated in the harbour of Fredericia. The employees are friendly and the food is taste. Me and my wife both ordered the classic Danish "shooting star". This a fish dish. We recommend this and we recommend this restaurant.

Visited on the basis of reviews. Management need to employ more wait staff. The two last night were run off their feet. The extraordinary long wait time of 30 minutes to be served and order a meal. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant, which has the potential to be a successful establishment.

Room does not have ventilation. The hotel does not have “do not enter/ make up room/ do not disturb signs”. No AC. Housekeeping will shut the window during the day, and the room gets unbearably hot over the day, making it difficult to sleep. (You will be sweating constantly) The hotel does not offer fans, and has no way of remedies. I left the window slightly open to allow the room to stay slightly cooler and low enough to sleep. Which would have worked had this been left alone. The only option you are left with is to leave the window wide open when you sleep- which is still not enough and a safety issue as you are at ground level and someone could enter the room easily. These things would not be a problem if the windows were left open, or a ventilation system circulated fresh air into the room, but when the doors are shut, main switch is off, and windows are shut- no air can enter or exit the room. Housekeepers will also open the curtains completely- even if you intentionally leave them closed- allowing sunlight to heat the room in addition to the temperature being far from comfortable already. I also don’t appreciate the amount of vehicles parked next to my room- all things considered. This is two star quality at best. Quality does not meet price. Relatively minor issues with simple solutions, however the point of a hotel is to sleep. If you cannot sleep because it is not comfortable to do so- then you cant enjoy the dining or other aspects. Otherwise this would have easily been 5 stars. Sleep and comfort are more important than cocktails and fine dining. (Which are quite nice here). Although the drinks would be nicer if they were colder than the tap water. (Which is actually quite cold and very refreshing). Sleeping here has left me more exhausted than the 40 hours of flying to get here.

We had a lovely weekend getaway in the hotel. Our room was clean, the food was delicious, the staff was very polite from the receptionists to the waiters/waitresses. Their efforts to do their jobs in the best way possible made our stay memorable. The surrounding of the hotel is green and calm.

Overall we had a very nice stay. The hotel was nice with a decent location. The restaurant served great food, and the breakfast was excellent. We did however have a bad experience with the restaurant. We had ordered the two course dinner beforehand, so it should be pretty easy to manage even though we were 12 people. However, because they had more conference guests than they could manage, private guests were clearly not the priority, so we waited almost 30 minutes for drinks and didn't get the first course until after 45 minutes. The main course wasn't served until 90minutes after we arrived at the table. However, the second dinner, was excellent, and the meals were served quickly.

Top end food is quite commonplace now in Denmark - but this place, in the quiet backwater of Fredericia is so, so good, may be unexpectedly so. It’s not hard to get one ingredient of success right - but this place gets the food, wine, service and ambience so, so right. The word “relaxed” is spot on. The food is compatible with the best. The service is uniquely great. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will find an excuse to come back - from wherever we are! Well done guys - you deserve success.

This burger joint produces some amazingly tasty burgers, and has many different ones to choose from. Do yourself a favor and tro their milkshakes which is a meal in itself. Only thing to put on the place is that the burgers are a bit small compared to the price.

First time there, not a bad burger as such. Would recommend over McDonald's and other fastfood suppliers. But compared to other burger joints then the experience was not the same. I might have been there on a unfortunate day, so if I get nearby I will give it another try.

I went for the spicy menu at Backyard burger, and it was priceless. More juicy than you can imagine, but with enough green to make each bite crisp and yummy. If you should be so lucky, and if you get the chance, treat yourself to a snack from Backyard, I bet you will enjoy your meal.

If you prefer warm sushi, then come on the not busy time. I was never disappointed with warm sushi, but when we came a few times on Saturday evening, the sushi was pre-made and cold. I really liked the new chicken sushi when they are warm and not over-fried, but when they are cold they are not eatable at all, the same with edamame. I know it is easier to run a business like this on busy hours, but I as a client prefer to wait longer and get them fresh and warm.

Was some great sushi and while food was brought to you quite quickly the only thing causing this to not be a 5 star review was the waitress. 1 person watching all the tables meant she was really busy and that made it difficult to put in orders for drinks.

My go-to place when I’m in Fredericia. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would skip the salad/deep fried buffet and head straight to the BBQ. Let the staff mix the sauces for you. They’re really good at it and make sure that your noodles and vegetables get the right amount of liquid for frying. The lamb meat is the best and most juicy of the meat options.
