Monday lunch time . Decent pizza for me and steak and chips for my OH. Also a cider, a beer, a glass of wine, and a large icecream. Good service and staff. Great value for money, bill was just under €29

Me and my family wanted to eat here badly, when we arrived the waiters had an additude to us just because we’re tourists and we couldn’t eat here because it was ‘full’ but other French people could just walk in without a reservation. So if you are a tourist don’t go here!!

Started with the waitress ignored me when I asked her a question and ended with a very bad quality of food . If you order Pizza make sure to tell them less cheese as it was over . Entrecôte meat was really bad quality of meat , veggie pasta was over soaked with sauce . Never again

We are crêpes as a snack here with our young children. We were all made to feel very welcome. The service was prompt and server very pleasant. The crêpes were fantastic. I'd love to go back because they were delicious. Would definitely recommend! (Incidentally, don't go to Creperie la reflet de la mer, which is a few metres away but the staff are rude and the food is lacklustre).

This is a lovely place. Our room was large, comfortable and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kettle. Very comfortable bed. The outside, metal spiral staircase would be difficult for disabled people to use. Our breakfast was delicious and varied and the dining room beautiful. There was even a log fire in the huge fireplace. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed, so one has to drive a few miles into Erquy, where there are several good restaurants.

Very spacious and nice place, but the meat was not tender at all, we had older people in our group who ended up eating almost nothing because of that.

Good hotel for a short stay. Rooms are quite spacious and they have the perfect view. The rooms are modern and clean. We enjoyed our short stay. Great for walk / run on the promenade and grasping a feel of the sea! It’s not a two star, rather a three star hotel. The price is quite high tho for the area but there are not many hotels around… maybe 100€ would be the correct price in high season rather than 120€.

Would have loved to try the food, looked promising. We went there for lunch. Ordered oysters and clearly told the waitress that we want to order food in a bit. She said Ok and left the menu with us. 20 min later… we wanted to order, suddenly the kitchen was Closed! Saying 10 times sorry “it’s the kitchen fault” is not helping either. What a bunch of Clowns 🤡!

What an absolute shame we went to this restaurant as our last one of our stay. We'd had a lovely evening and then went in here. They sat us squashed up to another couple when there was lots of space elsewhere, annoying the couple that was there and they left. We were made to feel very unwelcome. Our starters and mains came at the same time, which was ridiculous. We had one beer each (2 of us), a starter each and a main each and the bill came to 144 euros!! The food quality was not worth it.

We stayed one night at the hotel La Table de Jeanne and decided to try the restaurant during our stay. Following the chef’s recommendations, we ordered gazpacho as a starter and turbot as the main dish. Both were well prepared, tasty, and showed the freshness of the ingredients. The kitchen delivers simple yet carefully crafted plates that reflect local flavors. Unfortunately, the overall experience at dinner was marred by the waiting time: one hour and forty minutes just to be served a starter and a main course is excessive, even in high season. Perhaps too many tables or the heavy tourist flow put the staff under pressure, but service felt slow and not particularly attentive. The welcome was polite, though not warm, and after such a wait we gave up on dessert altogether, not willing to face another long delay. The bill didn’t help either: €146 for two (including just a pichet of wine and the two dishes mentioned) felt decidedly excessive—especially given the long wait. As for the hotel, the impression was equally mixed. Our room was noisy, with enormous square pillows among the most uncomfortable we have ever tried. The bathroom had clear maintenance issues: a shower over the bathtub with a glass screen mounted without a seal, which caused the floor to flood, and the only light was a dim one over the mirror. We went for dinner at this place, had the catch of the day fish, which was slightly overcooked and all veggies tasted lame, so salt no anything. To top it all off, the dessert that came with the menu was „fruits“. Turns out, a single nectarine - whole, uncut. Ridiculous and won’t come again

We booked a room with a sea view, and what a view ! Our Room was medium size but comfortable. The hotel part is fairly good value. The breakfast at 18€ is overpriced and very average quality wise.

Rich prices - Poor delivery! Not recommended. The Chef's special a duo of fish, scallops and 5 seasonal veg for €35 was ridiculous. Expecting a large plate of food for that price. See photo, small bowl with vegetables mashed up. Ordered extra Chips which had to be sent back, over cooked dried out, replacement just the same hard dry and inedible. Long wait for service, forgot sauce, forgot bread, forgot knife and fork. This is no high class restaurant, had better meals from a food van or snack bar. Ruined our evening out.

We ordered the special of tataki tuna (45 euros), seefood platter (45euro pp), mussels and fries (25 euro) and scallops (25 euro). The food came quick, but the tuna, mussels and scallops were all way too small portions for the price. The food was tasty but just not enough for the price we paid, which left us feeling hungry...

Price and quality do not match. Food is OK but for a 38eur meal getting a quantity that would not satisfie an entree is not OK. Bringing up the issue with the waiter and simply getting an "OK" as respone does not cut it.

I came here with a French family and we asked for a table for 9 people. The restaurant was empty and they said they didn’t have a table for 9. Reserved for 13.30pm & on arrival, we were told the kitchen closed at 2.00pm. The (male) waiter was very grumpy to the point of rudeness. The food, however, was delicious with generous portions and good presentation. Unfortunately, a number of the (limited) options were unavailable.

An authentic place with somewhat traditional way of preparing food, which I appreciate, as compared to fancy presentations with little to eat. For dessert I ordered the Alsatian rhubarb pie. That was my favorite ever dessert I have eaten.

The food is great I had a menu that was at fair price, with a lemonade. The sea food is great the best I've eaten. Well seasoned and came with salad and dressing. As for some their other food not to sure the steak I has was cooked to request but had very little flavor thank goodness for the gravy. Would recommend for both lunch or dinner.

Excellent and friendly staff.Food is very good and served quickly. It has a limited menu which means everything cooked is done well. We would have liked to have the deserts, but our daughter is allergic to dairy and there was no non dairy alternative eg a sorbet.

We were staying on the adjacent campsite and were a bit unsure about going as there were some poor recent reviews, although many other good ones. I have to say that our experience on 20th June was very good. There was also a local folk music group for free ! Service was excellent and prompt and our drinks and the following food came in good time. We enjoyed our oysters to start and then moules frites. Prices were very reasonable especially given the location. We would go back for sure.

Last summer we really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant which is in a super location with a sea view. This evening the experience was far less enjoyable. The service was terribly slow and inefficient. As soon as we arrived a waitress tried to serve us drinks we hadn't ordered. Then the waiter who took our order didn't even ask us if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for a burger without tomato, but got the tomato anyway. When I pointed out the error, there was no apology. We had to ask twice for a carafe of water. The food was very so-so. I've subsequently learned that the restaurant has changed hands since last year, so in future we'll go to the restaurant at St Alban now run by the former owner of Le Petit Saint Michel.

Having been attracted first of all by a positive online review we were standing outside L'Eden considering whether to go in when a local couple passed us, pointed at the window and said, 'C'est excellent!'. How right they were, and how glad we are that we followed their recommendation! We ended up eating here four times during our stay and every time the food was (as the passer-by said) 'Excellent'! The owners, Carine and Eric, are lovely people and take great pleasure and pride in creating, presenting and serving their wonderful food. But what makes L'Eden even more special is their genuine warmth and friendliness, and the welcome you feel every time you walk through the door. A very special place! Highly recommended!

If you are in Erquy, you HAVE to go to this restaurant. You are guaranteed a really good meal and, if u want, one of their beers. Most importantly, though, the two hosts are just some of the most entertaining and pure people we have met ever. A great experience, really makes me want to come back here again later in the future.
