Bluestone Lane Hoboken Café is a delightful Melbourne-inspired coffee shop that brings a taste of Australia to the heart of New Jersey. Located on Washington Street, this chic café offers an extensive menu featuring Australian-style espresso drinks and delicious café fare available all day long. The modern East Coast interior creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying their popular avocado smash toast or indulging in one of their expertly brewed sustainable coffees.
Great spot in Hoboken to warm up. Johnathan behind the bar was an awesome dude and the vibes were immaculate for a little cafe. The Peppermint Mocha was a STANDOUT. Loved it, wasn’t too pepperminty….more like a chocolate peppermint bark. They have a location in Kersey City as well, would definitely recommend in your coffee rotation.

The waiter was so nice! It was a beautiful relaxing experience and food was amazing. The coffee was the best!

Absolutely loved our brunch! The food and coffee were fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. Huge thanks to Jonathan, Amanda, and Yams for making our morning so enjoyable!

We stayed in Hoboken for a week and ate breakfast here 5 out of 7 mornings. The athlete burrito, blueberry waffles and the keen green smoothie are incredible. This place has the nicest staff as well. Thank you so much for playing a big role in making our NYC holiday so memorable. Love Omar, Faye, Eesa & Zayd

Food was absolutely delicious and has all day breakfast and lunch which is nice for when your craving breakfast foods. Served was so nice. Even though there was two people working good came out at a decent time, but would recommend getting takeout if you need to get somewhere in 30 minutes.

I’m so sad to be saying this because this was my favorite coffee shop in Hoboken. I have lived in Hoboken for four years and have come here weekly, but I recently had the worst experience. I brought some friends on 9/6 for my birthday and we sat down at around 11:15. Everything was fine until the time started passing, and still not food (it was 4 of us so I thought that was just why). Then it hit 12:00 and I was getting a little confused. Finally 2 of our orders were brought out, but when the third came out it was the wrong order. I explained that and the waiter acted as though I did order this meal. I said no I ordered an athletes burrito not a chicken avocado sandwich. So he then went back to fix it. After another 20 minutes mine and my remaining friend’s order came out. With the mix up and time it took I was expecting at least an apology and received none. Then another waiter came over to bring our check he said “don’t worry I’ll take the chicken sandwich off your bill” as if he was doing us a favor. I said well yes no one at this table ordered a chicken sandwich( I’m a vegetarian so I know I didn’t order that). And again he just starred at me, STILL no apology for anything. It took two hours for a simple breakfast and coffee and my friend missed her train home in the mix of it. I was so embarrassed and told them no to worry my birthday next year would be at somewhere else.
Rachel M — Google review
Came here randomly, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was great (my husband kept raving about his Chicken Avocado sandwich, and made sure I included it in this review, haha). The service was even better. Would recommend :)

Located in a stylish setting, Turning Point of Hoboken is a popular daytime cafe chain that offers high-quality breakfast and brunch options. It's known for its extensive kids menu featuring items like smores waffle, pita pizza, volcano french toast, and egg roll-up. The cafe is close to the pier, making it an ideal stop for a river-side stroll.
I’ve been to the Turning Point at another location. I like this location A LOT better because it’s more spacious and it’s across Pier 13 which is beautiful. The food was delicious. All of us enjoyed it. Our server was nice, too. They do not take reservations but you can call and ask for a table in advance but once you arrive, you still have to wait for your table so I would suggest checking in at least 30 minutes before you actually arrive there. The lobby is super tight! So prepare to wait outside if there’s no place or room for you to wait inside. I ordered the tropical smoothie and it lacked sugar but still tasted good. I would come here again! Parking is a pain so plan accordingly.
Nikkie L — Google review
Turning Point is the perfect brunch spot for great views and value for money. We had a booth by the window which was lovely, the overall atmosphere was very chilled. The food portions and quality can't be faulted as we were stuffed for the rest of the day! We ordered three meals (shared between two) and two drinks and it was less than $50. The only fault we had was tidiness - our table had some food and rubbish underneath from a previous customer and the bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Saying that, overall we really enjoyed our brunch and would still recommend taking any visitors here.
SL — Google review
Nice place right by the water… the views are amazing and they have outside seating as an option. My egg white omelette with veggies inside was really good and seasoned to perfection. And the pancake had oats inside of them and it was amazing. The quinoa bowl was also seasoned perfectly and it was great. They were packed when we went on a Saturday morning, but we got lucky to be seated right away for a table of just 2. Any party larger than that seemed to have had a wait. Def recommend eating here. Staff were really friendly and accommodating to our needs.
Misa M — Google review
It was my first time having Shrimp and grits, and I was impressed!! Fried chicken tenders were a little dry, but the waffles were great. The wait time is a bit long though (a little over an hour).
Neha — Google review
When we got there, an employee “helped” us and we thought he was getting us a table so we stood there waiting for about 10 minutes while other people were being seated. 4 groups of people got seated before us, no one came up to us to ask if we’ve been helped so we HAD to get someone’s attention so that we could be seated. The food was really good but it was a bit cold. Our server was very nice, the only person who was nice to us there. If the other employees had better customer service, this place would be great!
Jenn — Google review
Service was great. Cajun Benedict was great. Lemon blueberry pancakes were great The mocha strawberry cold foam iced coffee was great Will definitely come back here !
Kiersten — Google review
The food is great minus no fresh juices but the service and management is sooooo bad. For a brunch place it’s unacceptable to not have enough bottles of syrup that you get served to syrup cups. We got in the waitlist saying it was 15-20 min wait. We got there working 10 min. checked in and suddenly another 15 min wait. We waited about another 20 not 15 and were the last to be seated. What’s the point of waitlisting if you’re just going to seat us as walk-ins??? They take forever to get to you. then the food takes another 30 min to serve. Any that time you should have had a knife in the table. Why don’t they set tables with knives to begin with??? We wait 2 min for knives. Then another 5 min for a bottle of syrup. We were here over an over and finally got our food. Not sure about their management. Front of house was great. Efficient and nice. I was so upset that I wasn’t really hungry by the time I got everything. I know it’s no Fabourgh but come on!!! I’d save time driving to the closest First Watch rather than wait and spend 2 hours for brunch and parking in the neighborhood. Just don’t go here if you’re truly hungry like we were. Their drinks were so-so. Overly sweet like most American places. I wish did known. Food: We didn’t like the whole grain seasonal Hawaiian french toast. I got a plain waffle with berries but the waffle is ok not crispy enough. Orange juice tastes like Tropicana. I got the coconut cold brew which was good but a little sweet because it’s coconut syrup not coconut milk foam. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium. Sausages and bacon is very good and fresh salads. Atmosphere: a bit loud and hectic but also no music. Which could help a little.
JJ L — Google review
Had a really nice experience. The food came out quickly and everything tasted great. Our server, Christian, was kind and attentive without being over the top—just very genuine and easy to talk to. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at just the right times. Definitely appreciated the good service and good food!

Anthony David's is a cozy Italian restaurant located in Hoboken, offering a unique dining experience. The restaurant serves as both a storefront gourmet shop and an outdoor sidewalk dining spot for dinner and brunch. Chef Anthony Pino presents a diverse menu featuring Italian classics and innovative creations made with seasonal, local ingredients. One of the standout desserts at Anthony David's is the warm doughnuts, available in Nutella-drizzled or bourbon-glazed options.
Absolutely, hands down, the best dinner we had while we were in the Jersey/ New York area for 4 nights. The intimate, sophisticated environment was only amplified by their exquisite, elevated cuisine. The staff were SO accommodating and helpful too. Genuinely a full 10/10 experience you MUST try!

Came for brunch. The juice was super fresh and made the carafe of mimosas super enjoyable. The food was not as great. It was not horrible enough to send back, but it just missed the mark. The Margherita pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza, the steak frites came over cooked and the potatoes burned. And the French toast Benedict sounded good in theory, but lacked some much needed texture other than soft. The service was fast and polite.

I went to this restaurant for my mother’s birthday dinner, and we had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly made, and the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and welcoming — they really made me and my family feel right at home and made my mom’s birthday extra special. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, excellent drinks, and such genuine hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Michelle L — Google review
Tried out Antony David’s in Hoboken and had a mixed but overall good experience. The spring squash tortellini was light and fresh, though the flavor felt a bit underwhelming for me personally. The lychee martini was spot on refreshing and smooth, definitely a highlight. For starters, we had the hummus plate and the whipped ricotta. The hummus was okay, but the whipped ricotta stood out, it was thick, creamy, slightly sweet with a hint of honey. Highly recommend that one. Desserts were the real winners here. The brownie with pistachio gelato was rich and comforting, definitely a must-try. But the star for me was the espresso panna cotta. Super flavorful, and the coffee hit instantly with a bold, robust finish. Probably the best thing I had that night. Good spot for drinks and dessert for sure. I’d come back just for the panna cotta and cocktails.
Varun S — Google review
I had the steak with potatoes and it was absolutely perfect—juicy, tender, and cooked exactly how I asked. The potatoes were the ideal side, buttery with just the right crispness. To top it off, I tried the lychee martini, and it was such a refreshing surprise—smooth, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. A great pairing to round out a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

This place checks all the boxes. Adorable atmosphere, charming service and really great food. Finishing brunch with a latte made for a complete experience. I may have to move to New Jersey so Anthony David's is within range.

My partner and I, along with our dog, had a 5:15 PM Sunday reservation and were promptly seated at one of the many available outdoor tables. The restaurant is nestled in a tranquil, residential corner of Hoboken, making for a peaceful and pleasant people-watching experience without the disturbance of heavy traffic. The service was a definite highlight. Our waitress was gracious and attentive throughout the meal. We were particularly touched when they brought out a disposable foil bowl of water for our dog—a small but significant gesture of hospitality that we greatly appreciated. The wine list was somewhat limited for our taste, but we were very pleased with the option of a reasonable $25 corkage fee, which allowed us to enjoy a special bottle we brought from home. Our meal began on a high note with the appetizers. Both the Heirloom Baby Beets and the House Whipped Ricotta were excellent, showcasing fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that set a promising stage for the main courses. However, the entrees presented a more mixed experience. The Eggplant Bolognese featured bucatini cooked to a perfect al dente, but unfortunately, the sauce seemed to sit on the surface of the pasta rather than being fully infused, leaving the dish wanting for a deeper marriage of flavors. The Crispy Rohan Duck Breast was a similar story of near-perfection. The flavor combination was lovely, with a house-made, reduced cherry demi complementing the rich duck beautifully. The letdown, however, was in the execution of the skin; despite the "crispy" descriptor on the menu, it was not rendered so. In conclusion, Anthony David's offers a truly wonderful atmosphere and top-notch service that make for a delightful evening. While the appetizers were flawless, the entrees, though conceptually sound, had minor flaws in execution that kept them from reaching the same heights. Would I return? I'm undecided. The service and ambiance are strong pulls, but the food gives me pause. I would certainly consider coming back to explore more of their excellent appetizers over a glass of wine, but I'd need to deliberate before committing to another full dinner.

The patio setup at Anthony David’s is beautiful and inviting! Fantastic food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. Loved the Friday night vibes with a live guitarist! I love live music and being outdoors, perfect evening out. I come here at least once a week and it’s truly my favorite place in the neighborhood.

Restaurant
Halifax is a sleek dining destination located inside the W Hotel in Hoboken, offering New American cuisine made with fresh farm ingredients. The warm and modern dining room provides stunning views of Manhattan's skyline across the Hudson River. The chef smokes fish, seafood, and meats in-house and even creates his own vermouth. Guests can enjoy a $50 brunch option with unlimited shared portions of food and drinks. The restaurant also offers excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere for an early Valentine's dinner experience.
We celebrated my mother & aunt’s birthdays here in April & the Brunch is amazing! It’s all you can eat the entire time you’re there & the food is SO GOOD, we picked 10 different plates & didn’t have 1 complaint. The mimosas were so good & they constantly keep your glass full the entire time you’re there which is my type of spot! The music is also really good also & provides a fun atmosphere. The vibes and views are great! They even customized our menus for our event which was super cute & just gave it a special touch. They were very accommodating, we had a group of almost 20 & Sophie (the event planner) was so helpful, efficient & quick to help me with all my needs. Def recommend! 10/10!

Didnt expect much but actually enjoyed my first visit even though some of my companions did not (oh well). Inside was beautiful. But on a sunday evening in June it was a slow day with not as many guests, which kinda made us skeptical at first. Service was polite but the food did take a while to arrive even though it wasnt busy. The bread to start (foccacia) was delicious. I got their pork belly which was amazing! but was on the smaller side; wish it came with something else too like shoe string fries or mashed, or even green beans! lol the fritto misto was tasty too and had nice crunch. lastly i got their orange cheesecake and it was a nice sweet/tangy ending! pricey, smaller in portion but quite good. Wouldnt be my go-to or daily place to go but glad we gave it a shot

A Perfect Evening for the First Day of Fall Halifax is just a cut above. I was immediately welcomed by the restaurant supervisor, Nicole, who made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. That’s true hospitality—a genuine warmth that makes you feel instantly comfortable. I came in for a special treat, and everything was absolutely perfect. The view of the waterfront is, of course, incredible—the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. I went all in and ordered the Prime New York Strip, and wow. Honestly, it was one of the best I've had in years. The meat was so tender and perfectly cooked, with the rich bordelaise sauce adding so much flavor. The summer panzanella salad was the ideal contrast, with its crispness perfectly cutting through the richness of the steak. The entire staff was incredibly attentive throughout my meal, making sure everything was perfect. From the incredible food to the impeccable service, every part of the experience was flawless. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We just sat at the bar and the bartender made a perfect Espresso Martini. The menu looked interesting though we ordered the potato wedges which weren’t good (way too much paprika seasoning). Still - great ambience and atmosphere. I would go there again.
Vikram R — Google review
My niece and I had a 12:30 lunch reservation on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty and quiet when we arrived (it was lively and rather full when we left an hour later). Our server, Diana, was very nice. She made us comfortable right away and was helpful throughout our meal. We started with the corn flatbread and Caesar salad. I asked for the anchovies to be omitted from the salad, but they were on there when it arrived. I moved them to the side of the plate and, unfortunately, that part of the salad tasted fishy (not a huge deal... I just removed that lettuce as well. The Caesar dressing was very tasty, though. I enjoyed the salad. We had the chicken sandwich and a grilled cheese, both of which are accompanied by potato wedges. Diana was kind enough to add a little unsweetened iced tea to my lemonade. There is a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card. Bathrooms are very clean; they are located through the restaurant, but within the W hotel (attached). In Hoboken, street parking can be difficult to find. I parked at a lot around the corner (I believe I paid $11).

After many lovely brunch experiences at Halifax in the past, I went for dinner for the first time this weekend! It was a gorgeous night dining on the patio with the stunning city views. Everything we ordered was delicious and the best part of the meal was the service. Thank you Alexander for taking such great care of us and making our experience next level. Be sure to order an appetizer - my family and I loved the corn flatbread!

They changed the deal to only included unlimited apps, but I’m sitting at the table without the apps and we already received and finished our entrees at least 20 minutes ago at this point…which were over and under cooked. The waiter checked on us once since we ordered (after we had already gotten our entrees) and didn’t even realize we hadn’t gotten our apps. They changed the bottomless drink deal too, you can order a $25 bottle of champagne that comes with tiny little bottles of juice to mix with (that they forgot to bring without us asking) and isn’t even enough juice to get through a whole bottle of champagne. We still haven’t even been checked on or updated about the appetizers and am still sitting at the table as I write this. Terrible service, it’s a shame, this place used to offer a great experience.

Located in Hoboken, Antique Bar & Bakery is a cozy and popular spot offering a variety of delectable dishes. From pasta and steaks to fish, salads, and burgers, there's something for everyone. The restaurant boasts a 30-ton coal oven that ensures the quality of their food. Notably, their breadsticks were even enjoyed by Frank Sinatra himself.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been too recently. Excellent service! Sage was the one taking care of us and she was excellent. My girlfriend and I ordered the kale salad, and plantain croquettes and they were amazing! So delicious. The salad is my girl’s favorite. I got the burger and it is definitely a top tier burger. She got the seafood linguini and it was delicious. Very flavorful! Top tier Mac and cheese on the side. Probably top 5 I’ve ever had. We finished with the bread pudding it was the best bread pudding I’ve ever had! You must order it when there. It is perfection. 10/10 experience.

Overall rating: 4.7 My oh my, my friends wanted to try this place being in New Jersey. Through some research I realized it was a very popular place, especially their bread pudding for lunch. I came around 12 so I didn’t really want breakfast food by the time I was ready to eat. I ordered the mussels and while they were good, I was expecting the sauce to be delicious. The green sauce was a lot thinner & tasted very healthy. Not sure why I thought it would taste more like the typical sauce. It was just okay. I also ordered the infamous bread pudding with my friends who agreed reluctantly and wow 3 people was too little. You need at least 4 people to eat that! I took a good amount to go & it filled my dessert for the whole week! It was a really nice setting but the waitress was so friendly! She was selling every piece and wasn’t pushing either. We went around 1 so I think the brunch rush was coming to an end. Everyone was so friendly and I’d definitely go again if I’m in the area. Recommend trying something else that I didn’t order.

This is so good. I saw quite a hype of this place on a tiktok and waited a while to go but I genuinely believe Antique lives up to the hype ESPECIALLY with the bread pudding. I think it was the best dessert I’ve ever had. it’s massive and the 4 of us couldn’t even finish it which i’ve never had an issue with before. Really worth checking out! Great cozy vibe and good staff.

Atmosphere is nice! But the food is just above average! Steak was over cooked although ordered medium rare. The server was no where to be found for 10 min so we just started eating! The muscles are great, but portions are small. Pasta is really good only thing i would give a 5 star Bread budding is good! The caramel and the oven bake flavor is what is making it good! It was a good experience! But it isnt worth coming back for this price. Drinks are great thou!

“Local neighborhood spot with elevated cuisine and service” would be the perfect short blurb for this restaurant. It’s both a special occasion spot and a regular everyday spot at the exact same time. Great entrees and apps and drinks for a lunch a brunch or a dinner. It can be tough to snag a table but the wait or repeated effort is worth it. The pastas the proteins and the veg are all equally worth ordering. The inventive spins on classics like elote and lasagna are delicious and crave worthy demanding a conversation about their deliciousness and an immediate desire to make the next reservation so that you can enjoy them again. The desserts are equally good and the warm skillet cookie is every bit as good as the bread pudding which already has legions of fans. Easily recommend over and over again.
Nilesh P — Google review
Our waiter was attentive and informative about the food and had good recommendations. The food was good. The short rib was tasty. Burgers were good, and the rigatoni had a nice flavor. The bread pudding was big but very good. The place is nostalgic.

Ate dinner here a few times while I was in Jersey City working on a movie last year. This place is insanely good! Had the best meals each time I went. Service is fantastic, as are the drinks! Very Unique, I highly recommend it.

Brunch at Antique Bar & Bakery hit all the right notes. I had the steak and eggs with chimichurri—ordered it medium rare, and they nailed it. Juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of char. The Huevos Rancheros were bold and satisfying, and even the Eggs Benedict, though simple, had that perfect balance of flavor and comfort. The vibe? Effortlessly cool without trying too hard. The kind of place where you can settle in and really enjoy your meal. Service was spot-on—friendly, fast, and attentive without hovering. Now, about the bread pudding—I’m not usually one to go crazy for carbs, but this changed my mind. Warm, rich, and absolutely addictive. If you only try one thing here, let it be this bad boy. Seriously. Can’t wait to come back—this place has something special.

La Bouche is a trendy cafe in Hoboken that offers coffee, breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The café has a stylish ambiance and allows customers to bring their own beverages. It specializes in crêpes and pastries made in-house. Chef Esra Yuzer aimed to create a European café experience in this casual neighborhood eatery.

We went to La Boucha for Saturday brunch with family and had a lovely time. The restaurant is located in a nice area, offering a warm and welcoming vibe. The food was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The Avocado Toast and Nutella Crepe are highly recommended—both were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It’s a great spot to relax and spend 1-2 hours enjoying quality time with loved ones. Whether you’re looking for a cozy brunch or a casual gathering, La Boucha is a wonderful choice for family outings. Highly recommended!

Came here with two friends for Sunday brunch. The host sat us at a table without a reservation as long as we stayed for only an hour because of upcoming reservations. The place is really cute but is small for seating. We ordered the zucchini pancakes (5 stars), the wild mushroom omelette (4stars), and the mushroom crepe (2.5 stars). We shared our plates and the zucchini pancakes were the absolute best!

We randomly picked the place and it was a very good decision. We shared the Spinach Quiche, and we had the Fruity Creep (banana and strawberry) with Nutella and the Wild Mushrooms Omelette. All these were really good options. Especially the quiche. The Latte was also really good. Lovely spot, great host. The food however, was just alright. It was not bad but jot as good as we expected. We went here for brunch on Sunday Jan 1 and got a table immediately. We tried Brioche French Toast, Croissant French Toast, Croissant Egg & Cheese, and omelette. The croissant was chewy and didn’t seem fresh same with French toast , brioche was a little dry.

First impression, was delightfully surprised by the cleanliness in such a small, quaint little hole in the wall sort of place. There was a group waiting outside to be seated which was a good sign, because the weather wasn’t great. Who waits outside unless it’s good, right? The menu has lots of options, so whether you want a sweet breakfast or a more savory lunch, there’s something for everyone. Also noticed: the all gender restroom, which I always appreciate. After ordering drinks, we did wait a tad longer than I would have expected. While my first sip of my dirty chai with almond milk was satisfactory, and my boyfriend liked the look of his latte with frothy foam milk, a few sips later I came to the conclusion that my iced chai was severely watered down (assuming they pour warm espresso over ice, which is my ultimate pet peeve. It’s 2024 and planning ahead is doable. How are places still doing this? Make the espresso ahead of time and chill it…) Anyhow, the taste of my avocado toast and my boyfriend’s eggs Benedict was truly good. The poached eggs were cooked just right, bursting with their yolk the moment we sliced them open. But the potatoes (while cooked enough to bite into), weren’t seasoned like a downright delicious, greasy set of home fries — you know, the type you really want with your eggs, with just a little crisp and some cracked sea salt. I did appreciate the hot sauce they had on the table, in fact, it was the first hot sauce I’ve ever taken a liking too, but La Bouche didn’t make it, Cholula did. And speaking of which, La Bouche didn’t make any type of “sauce” to drizzle over the farm field greens that were strewn about over my avocado toast or collected in a sad little corner on the plate of my boyfriend’s egg Benedict. Not even EVOO? Come on, no one likes dry mixed greens straight of the box. This makes the dish look unfinished! We also got the zucchini pancakes which were delicious and probably the best item on the table. But then why don’t they put as much effort into their main dishes? These were more like a shareable side. I think the part of our visit that probably was most significant and led me to deduct a full star was the end, when we were asked if one of our places could be cleared that still contained an entire zucchini pancake on it. “No,” I said. “We’re not done.” As the bus boy reached for the plate. “No,” my boyfriend tried again. “We’re still working on it.” We took one to two more bites before another waitress walked over and simply said “let me clear your plates,” and proceeded to clear them before we could even utter a single word. There was still food on all of our plates at this point, to be clear. La Bouche? More like La Pouche You Out. Regardless, there aren’t many quick and clean, relatively yummy brunch spots in Hoboken as you’d think, so we’ll probably be back. But we probably won’t wait outside in the cold for a table. Sorry, I don’t beat around the Bouche.

The service was 10/10. We did not have reservations, and they set us at the bar. The food was delicious.  I ordered the omelet of the day with an additional croissant. We enjoyed the live music on Sunday. They were hosting a bday party, and the environment was very festive and friendly

I came here with a group of four on a Saturday morning for brunch. The ambience and the conversation was excellent but the food wasn't as tasty as we expected. We ordered three items, brioche french toast, fruity crepe, and the ham omelette. The brioche french toast was not soft and seemed dried out. The crepe was larger than we expected but the texture was very thin and fell apart which made it difficult to eat. Finally, the omelette was my favorite item on the menu and came with a large portion size. However nothing stood out in terms of flavor. While the location and ambience were great, we were disappointed overall with the food quality given the cost.

Green Pear Cafe, which opened its doors in 2015, prides itself on serving the renowned Lavazza coffee. Additionally, their cappuccinos are equally commendable. For those with a sweet tooth, the espresso pudding served in a chocolate cup is highly recommended. Almond milk is also available for those looking for dairy-free options. This establishment stands out by prioritizing quality and surpassing other cafes in town when it comes to their exceptional coffee offerings.
It's a great neighborhood coffee shop owned and run by Hoboken firefighters. Cool, modern atmosphere, with oldies music playing throughout. Amazing chicken parm with the vodka sauce. And the different breakfast sandwiches are fantastic.

Rosticeria Da Gigi is a cozy Italian eatery that offers a variety of classic Italian dishes in a retro-themed setting. The restaurant is known for its excellent pasta, particularly the bolognese and perfectly cooked rice balls. They also provide options for vegan and gluten-free pasta, although customers with celiac disease are advised to inquire about possible cross-contamination. Visitors praise the friendly staff and recommend trying out the pumpkin pie latte and cannolis.
Lovely place for a quick breakfast after my jogs to the Hudson River. The egg sandwich was good. The serving for the Cafe Mocha is generous, I wouldn't complain. The service is also top notch. The service is marvelous and the portions are enormous. I ended up skipping my lunch after this. Loved the place and the entire vibe about it.

We went two weekends in a row both Saturday and Sunday to try several recommended items. I was very happy with our different selections of both breakfast and lunch items. We took a container of chicken salad home ( lives up to the hype, I really liked it) I wanted to be able to try other hot dishes at the actual place. You can't order eggs to go and expect them to be perfect so you have eggs there and you won't be disappointed. The croque madame was delicious as was the omelette Gigi. We tried a cheese burger and fries which were terrific! The fries were not soggy like some reviews implied but again, fries don't travel well, eat in! The roll exceptionally fresh and burger temp was perfect. I also tried the turkey club on multi grain, tasted great but a little light on the turkey for me. We took home desserts ton enjoy later when we were not so full. I am going to be very honest about these... we bought 2 banana puddings based on what the reviews said. I was disappointed with the consistency. One container was perfectly creamy and delicious but one had almost no marscapone or cream. It was very dry and I didn't enjoy it. The tiramisu we got was again very light on cream or marscapone. Tiramisu has to have a lot of cream the lady fingers were very dry not soaked. The cheescake was delicious. to be honest I would try each dessert again to see if it was a fluke on being so dry.As I mentioned one of the banana puddings was perfectly delicious. The server 3 out of 4 times was Ashley and she gets 5 stars from us for sure. Cheerful, sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. Food came quick and she was very attentive. Place is very small som it is not easy in dead of winter ton get table but we did each time. 10:30 has been the sweet spot for us. Overall we will keep going back and try a few more things or would reorder our favorites.

I had not planned on visiting this little establishment, but I'm glad I did. I was in the area from out of state. Everyone was extremely friendly. I was trying to find a dessert or pastry and a hot drink on a cold, rainy Saturday. I was able to get a couple of recommendations from staff. I'm planning to go back sometime and try some other menu items. I had the pumpkin pie latte, which was delicious and a couple of cannolis. They are always a favorite dessert whenever I visit an Italian restaurant or cafe! Hopefully, I can sit outside the next time I'm in the area and it's a sunny day.

Reliable takeout - if you know what to order. Admittedly I’ve had a couple things not to my liking, but there’s many things they do well. Once you find those to your liking, it’s a reliable, reasonably priced takeout spot. Some of my favorites are the chicken parm, eggplant parm, broccoli rabe, meatballs.

They have good food at good prices but my biggest issue are the fries. Everyone else has complained about the fries being too soggy and they’re right. When I got my they were very wet in oil. I threw them in my air fryer for a few minutes and while it helped they were still soggy. Management if you see this please tell the cooks to make the fries crispy(cook them longer). And poke a hole in the plastic container top so the steam doesn’t make them soggier for to go orders.

So glad we stopped into this place. It was very cozy, the portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the waitress serving us was incredibly sweet. It has a very homey, welcoming vibe. I could hear the tables next to us talking about how amazing their food was as well (and it did look amazing - someone ordered a fried chicken sandwich that must have been spectacular). Banana pudding was huge and yummy. Will definitely come again!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a private Chef Competition event here, and the overall experience was outstanding. Every member of the team was exceptional and thoughtful from start to finish. The planning team was incredibly engaged and made the whole process feel effortless. Our hostess, Allison, was wonderful and attentive, ensuring everything ran seamlessly throughout the evening. Heartfelt thanks to the entire stellar team for creating such a joyful, creative, and truly memorable celebration to mark this special orbit that I’ll always cherish.

Truly shockingly underwhelming. To start, we took two pounds of butter, mixed it really well with a cup of melted butter, then drizzled it with a third type of butter because apparently, there’s no such thing as too much butter. We finished it off by sprinkling a cup of sugar on top of our masterpiece. I have never in my life seen so much butter or less healthy food in one place. Truly shocking. The main chef actually seemed to know what he was doing, but the assistants looked as if they’d been randomly pulled in from the parking lot. Nobody had any clue what we were supposed to be cooking. Each table made something different, and confusion was clearly the theme of the evening. The cheff assistants were visibly less happy to be there than I was. Then came the grand finale: a strip steak (don’t expect anything fancier). Just one piece for two people! Naturally, it was bathed in butter, then topped with another hundred pounds of butter, just in case we’d forgotten the main ingredient of the night. My advice? Take the $140 per person, go to a fancy restaurant, and enjoy a real steak that doesn’t come with a side of cardiac risk. If you really want to recreate the experience at home just buy two pounds of butter and bon appétit! 🧈😅

Tosti is a charming shabby-chic eatery that serves as an ideal spot for a laid-back date or a delightful brunch with friends. The menu boasts an array of breakfast favorites like waffles, pancakes, and French toast, alongside unique lunch options such as the daily soup and refreshing salads like the Hummus Salad.
Visited around 10am on a Saturday for brunch. Restaurant was busy but had indoor and outdoor seating available. Reservation accepted for parties of 6 or more only. Brunch menu has not only the expected dishes, like omelettes, French toast, and pancakes, but also interesting choices like huevos rancheros, eggs with bulgogi, and prosciutto toast with eggs. Extensive coffee and tea offerings, including cappuccino, bubble tea and matcha. We chose to sit outside on a beautiful day, and the food was fantastic! Service was very attentive and efficient. We will definitely dine here again.

Relaxing venue with plentiful outdoor seating offering a substantial and inclusive brunch fare throughout the day. I personally liked my chicken sandwich sitting outside when it’s 70 degrees in November … I personally could sit outside in 40 degrees as long as it’s sunny. Why are people allergic to the cold. It’s weird.

Steak and eggs: steak was really good Tosti sandwich: really good and hit my craving. Was a good vegetarian option but not sure if it was worth $12. Home fries were extra. Spicy fried chicken: hard to eat bc it’s not a single chicken piece Eggs Benedict: pretty bland. Home fries were not the best. The drinks were backed up for a while and came after our food. Service was a little lacking overall although everyone was all very nice.

Hidden Grounds Coffee is an adorable establishment with exceptional customer service. The seating options are limited to window seats, but the atmosphere is bright and well-ventilated due to its large windows. I indulged in an almond croissant and a lavender latte, both of which were delightful. Unfortunately, I accidentally spilled my latte, but the barista graciously took care of the mess and provided me with a replacement beverage. I will definitely return!

Average at best. A small cozy coffee spot in Hoboken. I originally got the iced vanilla latte with the non fat milk and it tasted a bit funky (could’ve been a bad batch of milk), had to go back and the barista was kind enough to offer a replacement. Got the honey bee latte this time and it was quite mild. But anywho, all in all it’s a miss for me personally. Also got the rose donut and that was good.

A really nice café, with lots of options to choose from. I had my first bagel with cream cheese and salmon of this trip here, so maybe that’s why I remember it so fondly – but it really was very good. I also tried a pistachio and cardamom bun – also delicious. A small and cozy little spot. It was great!

Randomly stopped by the morning of Mon, Sept 8, 2025… the food was pretty great, I got the Salmon avocado toast, Chicken Tikka sandwich, Taro Latte, and Honey Lavender Latte. I would actually recommend all of them - the chicken sandwich is a bit spicy, so be careful, I recommend having it for lunch rather than breakfast like I did :) The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the woman (with glasses and darker hair) who was taking my order - she really seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I’ve worked at cafes before, so I get that you might not get great service all the time, but she didn’t smile once, didn’t say hi, nor did she say thank you. That was a bit of a downer Otherwise, I would recommend!
Lourdes M — Google review
After finding this gem on Google reviews - we went out of our way to visit and we were hoping for a great coffee! Barista is probably in the wrong industry - 8am on a Saturday with no line, and we were abruptly told to order on the iPad because the barista couldn’t take our order while making other coffees. Fair enough, we ordered and with only four coffees before us waited almost 15mins for ours. Coffees were okay, not great. Tried some of the food options and the gulab donuts were unique and tasty, but heated and placed in a paper bag so the icing melted all over the bag with some left on the donut. Felt like no much love or effort was put in but will definitely visit again and trust this experience as a one-off bad day! Atmosphere and aesthetics are wonderful - lots of detail placed in the Indian/coffee theme and a great selection of goodies to take home too!

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would! We have been coming here for years and have tried just about every sandwich on the menu. The coffee is perfection (iced latte is my go to)! Café Esmé is a delightful gem nestled in downtown Jersey City, where the charm of Paris meets modern design. As you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere adorned with vibrant decor and textured metallic accents that create a cozy yet chic vibe. This café is not just about coffee; it offers a delectable array of juices, pastries, breakfast plates, and mouthwatering paninis that are perfect for any time of day.
First off, let's start off by saying this place is a gem because of the staff. The couple working here is super friendly. They love doing what they do, and you can tell by how they make your food (definitely have love in it) and are pet lovers. I came here hungry and left full, happy, and with a little more knowledge. I ordered Avocado toast and Crepes Maison while my friend ordered the French toast, and can I just say WOW! I enjoyed it so much that I ate it before my camera saw it, so I barely have pictures. I do feel horrible about not taking more pictures because I want to share everything, but I am also happy because it shows I did enjoy my time there that I forgot to take pictures. I will definitely come back, but I heard they might be closing soon, so I RECOMMEND and go show some support.

I can’t say enough great things about this café! I’ve been coming here for years, but recently everything—from the food to the coffee to the overall atmosphere—has gotten even better. There’s nothing like walking in and being greeted by the smell of fresh coffee and warm croissants in the morning. The service (Sofia & her team!) is exceptional—so warm and welcoming. I’m completely hooked on their White Chocolate Mocha, and their updated menu is a must-try. My children are even addicted to their refresher drinks! Highly recommend!

I had the most pleasant new years coffee and brunch with my family at Cafe Esme! It's especially beautiful with the sunlight if you go late morning/early afternoon. Our veteran barista Brian (he said he's been in the field for close to a decade) was very sweet and kind, and was incredibly helpful in selecting the perfect first morning coffees of the year. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the salmon toast! they're very fresh and savory with generous amount of toppings (like super generous!). We had regular, almond, and chocolate croissants as well. They are beyond your average croissants-- super crunchy on the outside and chewy and stringy on the inside. Needless to say, all the coffee is just perfect. Foams for cortado and lattes are a chef's kiss. It's also right across Newport Center (we parked at the parking lot there for $4/3 hours) so bringing a car is also convenient. We'll be going there routinely now. Thanks Brian😊

I love the place. It's so aesthetic and beautiful inside. Brian especially is the best person you would ever have a conversation to because he is very bright, funny, outstanding, and very cool with anything and everything. I just honestly love this place, 10/10 would absolutely get this again.

Very fine coffe shop. Cafe Esme was a pleasant discovery for me. I had a regular latte and macaroons. I didn't know they serve rose and lavender lattes here. If I knew, I would've tried one of those. I guess next time then. When I ordered latte I was asked for size and whether I want dine in or take out, but I wasn't asked for a type of lattes (I didn't know that there is variety). I did like this place very much. Very adorable, cozy place. Clean. Lots of plants. I love plants. The owner lady herself was there rearranging the plants. There are only 2 tables with 4 chairs each and a couch only inside, but there are plenty of tables for dining outside which will be offered over weather gets warmer. There is a gender neutral bathroom. I believe they offer smoothies from fresh fruit. I will find the rest of the info next time I'm there. Highly recommend. I will be visiting again

One of the best cafes in the area. The staff here is really nice and helpful and is always looking forward to trying new combinations of flavors with your ordered drink. I ordered a matcha latte and asked to surprise me with one of their flavors, they gave me a Malibu matcha latte ( coconut plus something). It is the most unique matcha drink I have had so far and it tasted great. Also tried their bagel and almond croissant, both were nice.

This spot has everything I want in a cafe. Cool couches and seating areas both indoors and outdoors, great menu, delicious coffee and a nice staff. It was delicious and when we go back to visit will definitely eat here again!

Very nice presentation of the food and delicious smoothie, except that I got the poached egg in a plastic cup next to the food. Didn’t look too tasty. The fact that they are not using freshly baked bread when their specialty are ”gourmet”toasts is really off putting for me. The bread they have are factory made packed with processed ingredients. I get that it’s financially more beneficial to have bread that last longer but it also tells me what you as a company prioritize. I wonder if the guacamole is made in house or also factory made? It tasted processed… The staff also looked miserable. Not one smile from anyone and they energy was low. Maybe pay them better and they will be a bit happier being there?

The food was really good, but the staff member who calls out names when the orders are ready was pretty rude. We weren't sure if the food was ours since no one else was around, so we asked. She said yes, but then turned to another staff member and said, "I called their name" right in front of us, in a way that felt really dismissive. It made the whole experience uncomfortable.

If you’re seeking a health-conscious breakfast or brunch in Hoboken, Toastique at 1450 Washington Street is a must-visit. This café offers a variety of gourmet toasts, smoothie bowls, and beverages that cater to both taste and nutrition. I ordered: 🍵 Matcha Bowl: The Matcha Bowl is a delightful blend of spinach, kale, banana, mango, matcha, hemp seed, flax seed, coconut water, and lime. Topped with pineapple, strawberry, dates, granola, cocoa nibs, mint, and honey, it provides a refreshing and energizing start to the day. 🍞 PB Crunch Toast: This toast features honey-roasted peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, berry jam, granola, peanuts, honey drizzle, and mint on walnut raisin toast. The combination of flavors and textures makes it a satisfying choice for those with a sweet tooth. 💡 Tips: • Ambiance: The café has a modern and clean interior, making it a pleasant spot for casual dining or remote work. • Service: Staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth ordering experience. • Dietary Options: Gluten-free bread is available for substitution, accommodating various dietary needs.

I am hooked on their green machine smoothie :) It’s a daily staple after my pilates classes. Always fresh and delicious. I also enjoy their juices on tap. I order on their app and usually my smoothie is ready in less than 10mins. Their rewards program is pretty good too.

I came here two years ago and Joaquin recommended the green machine! At first I was like “ew… spinach???? Okay I’ll give it a try.” And guys… IT WAS AMAZING!!! Joaquin thank you so much for your recommendation but also for your knowledge with the ingredients & its benefits for the human body. I love this place and the staff are lit af.

They used fresh ingredients that taste good. Unfortunately their acai and other bowls are always too soupy. I’ve given the many chances, and tried different items, but each time the bowl is more like a smoothie. Can easily drink with a straw, rather then the icy texture I’d typically look for.

American restaurant
Dear Maud is a trendy upscale pub in Manhattan's East Village that has quickly become a hotspot for the bar scene. The restaurant offers a fusion of Irish, American, and Asian cuisine with dishes like Korean-style fried chicken and crispy rice with spicy tuna. The interior features earth-toned leather booths and various shades of sage green, creating a modern yet cozy atmosphere.
First time in Hoboken — we came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Honestly, I have no idea how they managed to treat us so well, especially with such a large group. The service was incredible. The food and drinks AmAZing! And let’s be real — anyone giving this place less than five stars should probably have their Google privileges revoked.
Sunnista S — Google review
Enjoyed our dinner here. The crispy rice with ahi tuna was far and away our best selection. The crispy bao buns were good, especially the bites with barbecue sauce. The steak on the steak sandwich was too well done and chewy unfortunately. Service and atmosphere were great and it was pretty busy for a Tuesday night.

By definition, food fusion has a complex history whose origins can’t be easily pinpointed, which pretty much dilutes traditional cuisine. At its core, it’s a blend of ingredients, techniques, and flavors from different cultures and culinary traditions that creates something entirely new. They are popping up all over the culinary world, including on restaurant menus. Open since June 2022, this establishment has quickly become a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, located on First Street in Hoboken for brunch. The reservation was easily made via Resy. Inspired by his owner’s Irish roots, Dear Maud invokes the Irish poet W. B. Yeats, being a contemporary American with subtle hints of Irish and Asian cuisine. Upon arrival as first-timers outside of the Washington Avenue establishments, my partner, our friend, and I were greeted by the host, who led us to an earth-toned leather booth in back of the bar between the two cozy and casual dining areas with various shades of sage green everywhere one looks. Their menu offered brunch with a full bar capability for handcrafted cocktails. We decided on the Breakfast Burrito, Steak & eggs, and Avocado Toast. Every dish was executed flawlessly and was beyond delicious using the freshest ingredients. The price was very reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience thanks to our server, Shane from Sligo. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. We can recommend it.
Eloy Y — Google review
The food was extremely small portioned and overly seasoned. The selections were odd considering the Irish heritage and background of “Dear Maud”. The servers and staff were all extremely kind. But would I return? Nah. 6 tiny overcooked shrimp or 10’tiny over cooked chicken bites for a 20$ dish. Or the overly seasoned fries. Could get the same quanlity with better portions at an in and out for less money. Def aiming toward the younger hip crowd of Hoboken but falls shorts of the quality per price when so many amazing Irish and American fusion restaurants in the area.

one of the top 3 restaurants in Hoboken right now. amazing drinks, food and service with a great vibe and a kitchen open until midnight sun to Thurs. we had the crispy rice with tuna, chicken bites, pesto rigatoni and teriyaki bowl. the chicken and the pasta were amongst the best I've ever had. and I've had a lot. service was 10 out of 10. drinks came out fast and we're made amazing. espresso martini, frozen mango passion fruit marg and spicy marg, and rose sangria. all excellent. will come over and over.
Jonathan G — Google review
Great atmosphere — they really nailed the décor. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. I had the short rib rice, and my friends ordered the rigatoni pasta and a burger. We all agreed the food was maybe a 4 out of 10 at best. The biggest letdown, though, was the service. Our server (a British-looking guy) barely checked on us and didn’t seem to care when we mentioned that the “truffle fries” had zero truffle flavor. Drinks were solid, I’ll give them that. This place has a lot of potential — beautiful space, good vibe — but they’re definitely not making the most of it right now.

Warning: 3 guests during the dinner was poisoned from the food—myself included. 2 of us got sick during the meal/expelled at the restaurant, last person was on the toilet in the evening!! Upon reporting it to the manager, he was very very kind and followed up with me during/after the meal. Could not confirm what caused it but think that the team did well to ensure comfort/follow-up. Ambiance (3/5): The décor is super trendy and the establishment is huge! While the place is great for bigger groups, the music way way too loud to even converse with the people sitting next to you. There’s an area near the bar to hangout and drink. It feels really cool inside. Dark and almost clubby. Service (5/5): Our server gave us good recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. Cocktails during happy hour is unbelievable $9 until 7p – I was a fan of their mango passion fruit! And they’re all pretty alcoholic! Love Food (4/5) Crispy rice and spicy tuna – my favorite of the apps! Spicy sausage flatbread – nothing to write home about Short rib bao bun – I enjoyed this! Chicken bao – I enjoyed this! Tostadas – skippable Hummus – skippable Short rib fried rice – a little too salty but otherwise good Steak sandwich – Nicely flavored

Went in at 8:15pm on a Saturday night solo looking to dine at the bar. Security at the door asked to check my ID. The music was so loud I had to shout my order to the bartender 1.5ft away from me. The yuzu smash was delicious. I then got the apricot old fashioned which tasted just like any other normal plain old fashioned. I got the short rib fried rice as an entree. Surprised by its size but it rocked in flavor. I got a glass of Pinot noir to finish which was just OK. I also got the tiramisu to-go. Probably the worst tiramisu I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t call it a tiramisu but more like a cream cheese mouse pie with “slight” coffee flavor. Couldn’t finish after the first bite. The worst of all - this place charged me more than what they advertised. I’ve posted photos of the menu that night plus my receipt. They charged me $17 for the Yuzu smash and $17 for the glass of Pinot noir but the menu states the cost of $16 each respectively. Will not be going back. I don’t respect a place that doesn’t hold to what it claims.

Finnegan's Pub is a cozy Irish-style establishment in Hoboken that offers a welcoming atmosphere and a range of entertainment options. The pub features live music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7PM-9PM, adding to the vibrant ambiance. With an upstairs area for pool and darts, it provides ample space for patrons to enjoy themselves. Visitors can expect comfort food and a variety of draft beers while taking in the lively atmosphere.
What a nice place! Pub with live music located in Hoboken. We've come due to the high rates and they were so true! We were lucky to get a table inside, even being a Friday night. The place was crowded, but still nice. Staff was so lovely, specially after learning that we are from Brazil. Food is good enough - we've had the quesadillas and the fish & chips - and they offer a good variety of draft and beers. And the live music adds extra points to the experience. We'll be back!

About the Sports Bar: This sports bar provides a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff, making it an enjoyable spot to catch English Premier League watch parties. About the Experience: During our visit, we noticed that the bar was a bit empty in the early morning, likely due to its opening specifically for game day events. However, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming nonetheless. Opting for a hot toddy to start the day, we found the combination of hot water, whiskey, sugar syrup, lemon, and cloves to be a comforting and satisfying choice. It provided the perfect warmth on a chilly morning while adding a touch of excitement to the game-watching experience. In summary, despite the initial quietness, this sports bar offers a pleasant setting with attentive staff and enjoyable beverages, making it a worthwhile destination for English Premier League watch parties. It earns a solid four-star rating for its overall atmosphere and service.

The home of Arsenal is unfortunately too small for all the fans in Hoboken. A good problem to have I guess, but it means you need to arrive super early to get a seat to watch the games. Unfortunately, kitchen only opens at 5pm (Champions league games are at 3pm) so don't plan to eat here or otherwise, you can order food. Great environment and nice people serving at the bar.

I am not sure about the good reviews on this place. First of all asked for lactose free milk and they only had almond available (this is quite poor variety as there are so many allergies these days, there should be more choices). This meant I couldn't order a coffee... Anyway I went ahead and ordered banana and chocolate pancakes. The waiter brought me strawberry and berries pancakes which I obviously hadn't ordered, he stated no bananas available, shouldn't have you told me prior to see if I wanted strawberries? (I hate strawberries but didn't wanna be rude and still took and tried the plate leaving strawberries on a side). The pancakes were just awful, tasted as if you had put them in a microwave, thick and oily, so ate 1 and tried the others to see if any good on the corners. Left 2/3 of it and told the waiter I was not happy as they were not good. His response was "OK"... And he still added a tip on top of the bill (not even had the option to choose). It's jokes. Avoid this place, pancakes not fresh at all, precooked and warmed up, disgusting. The passivity of the waiter was the worst bit... Couldn't be any more careless. You really need a client service course to do this job... $13.28 thrown to the bin.

I've been here twice this week and I can not say enough good words about it. I had the chicken and waffles and the donuts with Nutella. They were empty most of the time when they should be full all day every day. It's really a gem of a restaurant. Give it a try. ASAP.

This is a beautiful place to go on a date with your partner. The hostess are really sweet and cooperative and hold knowledge of the menu. I was suggested to buy the in house lemonades, tried the watermenlon lemonade with mint. Its a super refreshing drink with in house watermelon extract lemonade and Mint leaves. Also had fries which are homemade style with no preservatives/frozen contents.

This place is nice and cozy. The food is prepared well. But it is crazy expensive in my opinion. The waiter is attentive. You get to bring your own wine. It was not crowded at all for a Sunday night.

Ordered the pasta, had bits of plastic in it. The staff did not make a very strong effort to make things right, other than taking back the pasta and letting me order something else. I ended up ordering the calamari and the octopus appetizers, both of which were incredibly mediocre. Calamari was very greasy, and octopus was too salty. I would avoid this place.

Made a reservation for a late Friday night dinner. Nice ambiance. I ordered the Hoboken Life for my drink (Hoboken's Ginger Spiced Whiskey, Cassis, Lemon Juice, Ginger Beer) and it was delicious! Then got the spicy rigantoni for my entree which I also enjoyed. We sat by the windows up front which was nice, I think sitting farther back would have been very loud. The restroom setup is very strange… strange enough that it became a topic of conversation haha.

Lovely brunch place at Hoboken area. They have indoor and outdoor seats. It was a nice day so we sat outside. The waitress and the staff were very nice and friendly. Guac and chips were very good. flavorful and crispy chips. Steak and eggs were good. Steak came out how I wanted it. Juicy and tender. Waffle was soft and puffy. Actually pretty good. Unsweeten ice tea was basic. I just wish all the portions are a little bigger. I was still craving for food after the meal. Overall a solid spot for brunch tho.

This is elegant restaurant, beautiful inside with a nice har as well as street side outdoor seating. We went there around Sunday noon and got a table right away. We started with avocado with chips that was absolutely delicious. For entree I got the chicken and biscuits. Unfortunately the chicken and the biscuits both tasted average. I had a much higher expectation for the quality and taste of the chicken. Our server was really friendly. She did a nice job. But they needed about 35 minutes to serve our main course. We utilized the extra waiting time to roam around the restaurant and the neighborhood street.

I was invited to a birthday party at Olivia’s, and the experience was so wonderful, I felt inspired to write a review. First of all the drinks were some of the most delicious I’ve ever had, and the food was delicious. Everyone at our table kept talking about how much they loved it! The ambiance is warm and elegant, with a design that clearly reflects a great sense of taste. And then… the live jazz started. It felt like an unexpected gift. We all love jazz, but the moment the singer began, we were captivated completely in love with her voice. It’s the kind of voice that feels like a hug… warm, soulful, and special. She even came over to our table graciously asking if the sound was good and if we could still chat comfortably. Her kind personality added even more to the experience. The service was attentive and welcoming, Thank you, Olivia’s, for a heartwarming evening.

Just came back for dinner after not having been in awhile and the food is all still great. Ordered too much, but had the stuffed figs, steak tacos, and split the spicy rigatoni for starters. All of the food was excellent. Pasta is not a typical “trendy” spicy rig which I appreciated; it’s a pink sauce with sausage, cherry peppers, mushrooms, mozz pearls…very good. Both our mains very good as well, wife got the split chicken and I had the pork chop, two proteins that could easily be overcooked and neither were dry. Drinks were decent, with the espresso martini being the standout - the best in Hoboken imo. Place is pretty pricey, $35 pasta pricey, but it’s all very good so you get what you pay for I guess?

3 of us dined here for dinner. Service: inconsistent…waiter was friendly but ordering our drinks and dishes created some confusion for him. And lady who brought our drinks over got confused also. Overall it felt like a new restaurant still working out its kinks. Food: way overpriced for what you get. Happy hour prices are more appropriate for the quality. Food tasted OK…wasn’t bad but also didn’t have us itching to come back.

Prato Bakery, named after an Italian city, began its operations in Jersey in 2015. Owned by Simone Bertini, who previously owned Il Cantuccio in Manhattan, this bakery offers a range of delectable Tuscan baked goods such as breads, pizza, focaccia, and pan brioche sandwiches. Their popular cantucci biscuits come in various flavors like chocolate, figs, prunes, and apricots.
Unmistakably northern Italian in their piquancy, minimalist elegance, and high price, focaccia sandwiches are the mainstay at this hole-in-the-wall in downtown-town Hoboken (and several other locations), which also serves espresso and a variety of other sweet and savory baked products.

I'm torn between three and four stars because on one hand, I feel like they totally jipped us on the pizza margherita foccacia, but on the other hand, their plain foccacia is totally worth it and really good. The pizza margherita caught my eye, and I saw a sign that said $2.90, so I thought why not? It's the perfect mid-afternoon snack. They were all already pre-cut, so one would assume that it would come out to $2.90, right? Wrong. I'm no mathemetician, but something just didn't add up if we paid $8 something for 2 plain foccacia squares (at $1.60 each) and one margherita. It turns out the guy counted the margherita as "two squares" so we actually ended up paying $5.80 a "square". It's just too bad we realized after we left the shop and already ate half the pizza. If I had known, I would have just gotten a slice of Benny Tudino's. But back to the plain foccacia. The two squares that we bought were enough to make a burger for two people for dinner one night, and two Italian sammies the next afternoon. I liked that it wasn't drenching in oil. That or maybe the paper bag soaked most of it up. Bottom line - stick to the plain foccacia, and you are good.

The Biscuit Babe just opened in a quiet Hoboken neighborhood and it's a must-visit. There’s nothing else like it around here — creative biscuit sandwiches, great coffee drinks, and a dog-friendly atmosphere (they even had biscuit dog treats!) 🐶. A few small tables inside and out make it a nice spot to sit, but they sell out fast on weekends, so go early or try a weekday like I did. I ordered: •Grilled BBQ Chicken: juicy grilled chicken with smoky, tangy BBQ sauce on a soft, buttery biscuit 🍗 •Cry Babee: crispy fried chicken with a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce — full of flavor and a little heat 🔥🍯 •Basic Babe: egg, cheddar, and turkey sausage — a simple, hearty classic 🍳🧀 •Chai Latte: warm, spiced, and lightly sweet ☕️ •Regular Biscuits: flaky, buttery, and perfect on their own •Peach Cobbler Biscuit: soft, rich biscuit with sweet peaches and a crumbly topping that tastes like summer 🍑 Definitely worth checking out if you love biscuits or want to try something new

absolutely love Biscuit Babe! From the moment you walk in, it just feels welcoming and cozy. The biscuits are out of this world—so fluffy and buttery, I could honestly eat them every day. The staff is always so friendly and makes the experience even better. It’s one of those places that instantly brightens your day. Every visit has been such a treat, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in Hoboken.

Dunkin' is a well-established chain that offers a range of breakfast options and an assortment of coffee beverages. It is known for its signature breakfast dishes and various caffeinated drinks. The establishment provides a welcoming atmosphere with free wifi, making it an ideal spot for those seeking to relax or work while enjoying their espresso. With reasonable prices, Dunkin' offers the best and healthiest choice for espresso at less than $2.
Went just about 10 minutes ago and must say the gentleman who was there serving was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Barely come this this location but will definitely start coming more often just because of him (didn’t catch his name and name wasn’t on the receipt :( )

I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of some of those who work at this location. My mother went in to purchase a coffee, when she handed she cashier a $20, he only returned $3. When my mother questioned this, he claimed that she had been there previously and did not pay her bill. He then stated that if she did not pay for it, it would come out of his pocket. This was a completely absurd accusation considering my mother had not been there recently- not to mention that she was a frequent customer as she works for a school nearby. I am compelled to believe the actions and behavior of this worker were motivated by racism. It is disgusting and no way to treat someone. Before accusing someone of something, there needs to be evidence and there was none.

This location is okay for a quick grab and go... There is not much room to sit and enjoy your morning coffee .. The staff is nice. But they just don't make good coffee it's always watered down... not sure what the deal with that.
Semaj3G — Google review
some employees do not know how to understand the instructions. if I ask for a chai latte, they serve me the latte with coffee. always check your orders.11/11/23once again... they don't pay attention to the orders, they get it wrong (hot chai latte they put coffee when it's just chai tea and milk) and the breads come out not finished baking.

It’s a dunkin so quick food and go but the old guy that was behind the register was rude and not customer friendly at all. Don’t think I’ll be back to this location

Good spot friendly and free wifi! I like to order espresso yes they have it and is probably the best healthiest choice and priced right! Less than 2$they do have to relax and not limit wifi time because Starbucks is nearby and I've never been approached about my time spent using wifi. If you desire return business and loyalty than don't harass your customers. Respectfully

This place is just the worst I've went 2 times first time the lemonade was off I said I'll try again even worse the second time never again

Bad customer service, lately they have been getting my order wrong. Several times I've ordered ice coffee and they've given me hot coffee. Don't get me wrong the coffee is always fresh and so are the doughnuts 😋 but they need to pay more attention to what the customer is ordering.

Dunkin' is a well-established chain that specializes in serving their unique breakfast offerings and a wide array of coffee beverages. Recently, an order was placed through the UberEats platform, which was promptly delivered with exceptional service. This particular experience surpassed all previous orders from any other establishment on UberEats without a doubt. Gratitude is extended to the individual responsible for assembling the order. Additionally, Dunkin' maintains a hygienic environment and provides an inviting seating area for customers.
This place is clean and has a nice seating area. Staff was pleasant, at least for me. I placed an order of hashbrowns they were cold.. the replaced them and gave me a free order. 😀.

Customer service was good and speedy however the food quality isn’t great. The croissant and donut 🍩 were almost stale and dry. The coffee wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The store and tables were not clean, I wish they would pay more attention to this as it is a prime location.

People who work here are nice. Only issue is I chipped my tooth on a cold hard stale bagel today 😭 literally broke a tooth. I just wanted a warm soft bagel. 🙃😭 I can’t afford a dentist. I just cannot come back here anymore: please serve non stale bagels. My tooth is in bad pain.

I order ahead & still had to wait 10minutes for my order . I understand mornings can be busy but if I order ahead and still have to wait for my order to get this bagel with cream cheese then it’s definitely not worth my money or time. I also asked for coconut milk and they put almond milk without asking me if it was okay or provide other options.
Maria C — Google review
Not clean, RUDE staff, I was there today and I had to ask the person preparing my drink not to put his fingers inside the cup to grab it, he was clueless about hygiene. Their prices are higher than other Dunkin Donuts locations, and do not ask for a milk shake.... they pour a lot of ice, resulting in very watered down drink. Their standards are indicative their mentality is in a different country than USA. IRRITATING !

Nice group that works here. Service is pretty fast when Ive gone. Food is good. My family likes basic doughnuts so we never have a problem finding what we want. The ice cream can sometimes look like it’s been there for a while. Maybe just not a popular ice cream spot? One complaint - the sweet cold foam never looks like the picture or other DDs I go to…tried introducing ny husband and he was so unimpressed.
Jamey T — Google review
I order there EVERYDAY. I swear I’m not joking. I ask for the same thing- sausage, cheese on a croissant 🥐 extra cheese. NO EGG. 2 times in a row they added the egg and they forgot the cheese. It’s an annoying because I throw it out - I can’t have eggs.
Jacqueline N — Google review
I ordered two egg and cheese wraps, but I was only given one, even though I was charged for two. Also, the order took an unusually long time to prepare.
