On a first visit to Porter's Saloon & Grill, the experience was impressive and it left a desire to return for more enjoyment. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the atmosphere exciting. The modern decor, including unique barn doors for the restroom entrance caught attention from the moment bikes were parked outside. The frosted glass doors at the main entrance and restrooms added an eye-catching touch. Cleanliness was confirmed by the black fixtures, which emphasized their commitment to being different.
We had such a great dining experience! Sat on the patio and watched the sunset. Really good burgers, delicious salad, extra crispy tater tots, and cold beer. Plus the service was exceptional!

What a great spot in Superior! The scenery was beautiful, sat on the patio. Food was amazing, any of the burgers are to die for, I had the party melt. Give it a try after you go to Boyce Thompson Arboretum!

Porter’s Saloon and Grill has a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but the experience was just okay overall. The food was decent, though my sandwich was a bit salty. The place itself is clean and comfortable, which helped balance things out. Not a bad spot, just not one I’d go out of my way for.
Adilleth G — Google review
Spur of the moment stop, and glad we did. Sat inside, since we had been outside all day. Outside they did have a live band, they were awesome. Inside plenty of seating and everyone was so friendly and attentive. Our server suggested the mango chicken salad....it was delicious! Grilled chicken slices, cubed mango, pico de gallo, lettuce and a raspberry vinegarette, yum, I want more!

I would like to thank the owner Traci, and Bella the bartender who was working the night of 9-18-25 We showed up on a motorcycle and got caught in the monsoon going through the area at closing time. They graciously allowed us to have shelter indoors and also offered a vehicle to drive to the local motel. What an amazing staff! We got safely to the copper motel thanks to the bartender Bella’s boyfriend Aaron, We so appreciate you all! We will be back everytime we ride that way.

Absolutely beautiful spot in Superior. Took a detour to have a drink, stretch out, and freshen up on the way East and found this gem of a desert diner. Thank you for the sweet and all-American western hospitality. If you're traveling east on the 60 or west towards Phoenix for that matter, be sure to stop by Porter's and support this local saloon.

Update Apr 19 2024. Another good lunch experience. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. Having grown up in suburban Philly I can say that Porter’s version is pretty darn good. Needs a tweak, though. It’s served with provolone cheese - lots of it. Too much in fact. Makes the Sammy heavy and overpowers the beef. I probably could have asked for a substitute had I known. If it were up to me I’d serve it with plain old American cheese, and not too much of it. Friendly staff, as always. Cold cold draft beer. My wife had the taco salad with ground beef. Huge portion. She loved it. Still 5 stars. New pics attached. Update Jan 27 2024. Live music, Saturday, lunch time - and the place is packed. Plenty of outdoor seating on two levels even though there were no inside tables available. Our party of four had wings, beef nachos and I had a turkey Sammy with Swiss on rye, side of fries. Ice cold draft beers. Excellent service, as always. Pics attached. Updated Nov 8 2023. We’re back in AZ for the season. Had lunch today at Porter’s. Are you kidding me? My Club Sammy could feed four! HUGE. The deli meats were nicely chilled and the bacon crisp and tasty. I had mine on sourdough bread. The fries are simply great. My wife had ground chicken cheese nachos. Also a huge portion. Our beers were ICE cold. Fast friendly service. Good prices. Good value. Pics attached. Stopped in for lunch on the way back to San Tan Valley from Globe. Have never been to Porter's but we decided that today was the day. Crazy busy at noon on a Wednesday. No problem finding a table. Initial service was fast but food delivery after we ordered was slow - somewhere between 20-30 minutes. That's ok. We enjoyed having time to chat and the atmosphere. Portions are HUGE. Our burgers were no less than 1/2 pound of beef. Mine had a wonderful smoky taste. I ordered the Superior Burger which was topped with very fresh onion, lettuce & tomato; cheese; just the right touch of mayo; giant green chilis and thick slab bacon. Excellent burger bun. The side of fries that was included was also large. Great prices considering the quality and portion size. Good selection of draft beers. All-in-all a very nice experience.

Porter’s Saloon & Grill is a gem in Superior, AZ! This was our second visit, and leaving a dollar bill on the wall each year is such a fun tradition. The food is amazing, and the cornbread is a must-try! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t wait to return again when we visit Superior!

Mexican restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Los Hermanos Restaurant & Lounge is a beloved gem in Superior, renowned for its homemade tortillas and authentic Mexican dishes that have captured the hearts of both locals and visitors. This charming eatery offers a laid-back atmosphere where you can enjoy cold beers alongside mouthwatering meals. Diners rave about the nostalgic flavors, from cheese crisps to chili rellenos, all prepared with genuine care.
Get past the styrofoam plates and the authentic Mexican home made food was terrific. Friendly staff. We had a great lunch after a long hike. Beautiful townsite at the base of high mountain cliffs.
L T — Google review
Don’t go here unless you just want to drink booze! Bartender was super nice but the server made us move from a table even though we were her only customers in the whole place so we had to sit at the bar! The food comes on a styrofoam plate & platic forks. I would skip this place 100% If you really want good Mexican food, better server, and real plates & silverware, I would drive to Miami, AZ to Guayos El Ray on 716 Sullivan St
Angie — Google review
I have been told to go here and I finally made it. I’ll tell you what it did not disappoint!! A cheese crisp for starters, and I swear when I took a bite I was ten again. I got the chili rellanos which reminded me of my friends mom recipe. The rice/beans was so authentic! You could literally taste the authenticity! Boyfriend got a chicken burrito, which was delicious as well. He failed and was scared and didn’t get any sauces. But still on point! Oh and did I forget to mention it is SUPER HOT WHEN DELIVERED! I couldn’t resist 🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋😋 Then what they are also super known for is their homemade tortillas which you can buy and take home. Yes those were hot as well. A must see, and eat!

We booked the upstairs Ballroom for our wedding. The staff, environment, and dive bar atmosphere made our weddinh complete. The family who runs the restaurant ans their are all very friendly and accommodating.

First visit to Superior and decided to have lunch here. It is self seating. They are very busy which is good but we ordered child and salsa which isn’t free with food like most places but we didn’t receive until our food came. The tamale was so good! I ordered the enchilada and tostada. My only bad review was the cheese. It tasted old. In my tostada it was sliced cheese just cut up in pieces but it tasted so old. Servers were busy so never came by to check on us but still a good spot.
Kayla-Rae W — Google review
I stopped for a glass of water and a Modelo. They don't take plastic and I had only $2 cash. The bartender said"don't worry about it. Just drink it" doesn't happen too often these days. And out front was the reason I stopped here anyway.
Roger C — Google review
The service was fast and friendly. The food was good, nothing outstanding. The tortilla chips were refreshingly unsalted!
Whats L — Google review
Seen this quaint restaurant on the television show "Arizona Highways". With no second thought, jumped in the car and headed to Superior AZ. It was a historic building, they were busy, which is always a good sign. Had the #2 it was authentic, spicy, delicious! They also sell tortillas and conchas. Next door is the lounge if your looking for a drink. Ladies are friendly. Will Definitely go back.

Cafe
Nestled in the heart of Superior, Buckboard City Cafe & Saloon is a delightful spot for breakfast or lunch that offers more than just delicious American cuisine. This charming eatery is also home to the World's Smallest Museum, a quirky attraction filled with an eclectic mix of memorabilia and knick-knacks within its cozy 134 square-foot space. Guests rave about the flavorful dishes, particularly the biscuits and gravy at breakfast and the bacon cheeseburger paired with chicken tortilla soup for lunch.
My wife and I were just out for a drive and came across this excellent little cafe for lunch. We both agree that they served one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. The beef is fresh and grilled over an open flame, which really gives it that extra flavor. The service is great and it's a nice cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping in when you have the opportunity.
Kevin S — Google review
Cute little place. Whimsy decor, murals, and a decent view of Apache Leap. I was there late morning, not super busy, not empty either. The food prices were reasonable, I guess at first glance. The food was flavorful, just very small portions for the money. I'm a little disappointed in that. As you head east, it is on the Southside of the road. There also is the world's smallest museum next door. Some very old items to check out. Easy parking and entry from the highway. Would I recommend? If you want to get out of town and do something, I would say yes. Boyce Thompson Arboretum is close by.

Sunday, May 25 was my first time here and the food was delicious. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and my brother ordered the Everything Omelet. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant was amazing, the waitress and cook were very nice, and the food was 5 stars all the way. It's definitely a must stop location. We're definitely returning when we're in the area again.

I've been here for breakfast but decided to try lunch today. It was pretty good. Got the bacon cheeseburger with chicken tortilla soup. I really liked the soup. I'll get a bowl next time. While there, check out the World's Smallest Museum. It was interesting.

Nice and quiet. Server was very nice and took our order quickly. Food was perfect and came out exactly as ordered. If in the area again will definitely stop in.
Junior A — Google review
Buckboard City Cafe is hands-down one of the best breakfast stops around! The food is delicious—classic, hearty options that hit all the right spots, like their fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs. What really makes this place shine, though, is the staff. They’re awesome—super friendly, attentive, and always in a great mood, which makes the whole experience so welcoming. It’s a cozy little spot with a fun vibe, and the World’s Smallest Museum next door is a quirky bonus. If you’re passing through Superior, this is a must-stop for a fantastic breakfast and a warm smile!

A friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Silver King Smokehouse & Saloon on a Thursday afternoon. We had the chopped brisket sandwich with aioli sauce and red onion jam, along with hand-cut fries. The food was excellent and we also indulged in some drinks. Despite arriving closer to 2pm, we practically had the place to ourselves. The service was fantastic and the decor gave off a vintage Western saloon vibe, complete with multiple large screens.
This was a spur of the moment stop for food. Oh my word! Cocktails were superb, food was immaculate, and the service was top tier! Our server/bartender was Charlie and she was amazing. She made sure all the tables were checked in on continuously while maintaining the patrons at the bar as well. This will be a repeat visit for us for sure!
Angela R — Google review
We just had the best time at the Silver King smokehouse. Great ambience, fabulous service, fun, homemade craft cocktails, and a good beer selection. Then of course there’s a barbecue! You can’t go wrong. We highly recommend stopping in if you are in Superior. My husband got the silver King barbecue sampler. He was very happy with his choice. I tried the green salad with fries and coleslaw on the side. The fries were awesome with the barbecue sauce–a vegetarian hack for eating barbecue. They also have a veggie burger that’s your style. Our server was really fabulous, very friendly and informative.

-- They finally released my money after holding it hostage for 10 days. They never communicated at all, no attempts to rectify or communicate the situation. I'll probably never come back. [Updated Review] - 8/3/2025 - Upset. I came here to eat, ordered 3 sides + drink, just like I did last time. The lady working, she asked if I wanted to keep my tab open, I said no thank you, that should have been the end of that transaction. That's not what happened though. I get to the end of my meal, I order a pound of brisket and a pound of pork to go, an additional $60 odd some dollars. I ask if I can pay it down with cash, so I hand her $60 in cash, she takes it, I pay something like $13 total with my tip from my original order in the beginning after the $60. I'm really happy I grabbed receipts, otherwise I would have absolutely no proof that I handed this business $60 cash that has magically disappeared because they've had a pending charge of $68.46 on my account for over* a week now. It was more than that, a $10.15 charge has already posted. When I noticed this issue, they were closed, I went there on a Sunday, I emailed them on Monday (8/4/2025), they never responded, it's now 8/11/2025. An email to clarify what's going on would be nice. So far they're just holding my money hostage and I don't like it, I'm going to dispute this charge with my bank here pretty soon. I don't know what the hell they're doing, I don't know what this charge is, I don't even know why I was charged this much if I paid it all down with cash, the original charge was like $78 - it should have been like $13 total since I paid $60 cash first. Right now I just feel robbed and it sucks, because the food was good, the town is a good 40 minute drive away, otherwise I would have been there this last weekend instead of here in my review. It would be nice if this wasn't an issue in the first place. ---- [Original Review] - Months ago Incredibly fast service, food was out within a minute or two. You pick your own seat, when you're ready to order, you walk up to the front kiosk and they take it, and then it'll be out shortly. I ordered 3 sides for lunch, no meats, but I had a frontline view of the kitchen window so I could see how fast they were moving for everyone else and it was FAST. I ordered green chili mac and cheese, coleslaw (slaw), and house-cut fries (think shoestring fries). I put some of their house BBQ sauce on the green chili mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious, they should honestly make a BBQ mac and cheese variant with their BBQ sauce in the mix, maybe add some brisket. I got two water cups, easy to refill, great padded seating, they have a bar you can sit at, or a large outdoor patio situation. My food was amazing, even though it was just sides, it tasted great, and it was hot. Loved it. I would drive 40 minutes out of my way again just for some sides. Great prices too. It was like $14.23 with an 18% tip included, not bad, great quality. - One thing to note, the fork situation is plastic but that's okay.
Nick M — Google review
Local restaurant with outside area where events take place. I had my usual plain hamburger and fries. They hand cut the fries exactly like we make at home. That meal was excellent!! Im sure some are thinking 'well how can a plain hamburger be bad?' I can tell you it happens!!! This hamburger was exactly!! So, if a little hamburger was that good what does the rest of their menu taste like?? My friend got a veggie burger and said it was also really good! The staff were very very nice!!! I totally recommend if you go to this sweet little town!!!! I will be back!!
Patti B — Google review
I don't usually hand out 5 star reviews, but omgosh! They were so good! If you find your way here, it's probably not by accident. It's definitely a drive for most people. I've lived all over the US, I've worked in and eaten at unknowable numbers of BBQ places. It is absolutely no exaggeration to say this was probably the best BBQ I've ever had in my life. What you see is what you get. So, if you are in the mood for a drive and some great BBQ, then this is the place.
Lori C — Google review
I love the western style to this bar. It definitely had that vibe. The waitress was extremely friendly. 1 kiddo got the tacos and said “they were to dye for” the other 2 were being complicated and got fries. The man and I got pulled pork nachos and a pulled pork sandwich, split it. It was good, not great. The meat wasn’t as tender as I was hoping. The nachos had great flavor though, but as same the meat was chewy.
Kelly — Google review
TLDR: a nice place with a great atmosphere both inside and out, kind staff and clean bathrooms. I wouldn’t normally visit a smokehouse, as I don’t eat meat, but I found some yummy potato salad that they were able to leave the bacon off of, and some macaroni salad, which, along with my craft soda float, were enough to get me through till dinner! 😝 He had the loaded fries, I’m he thought were ok, but the pulled pork was very fatty, and he doesn’t like fatty meat. The flavor was good, but there wasn’t much meat after the fat. The decor was interesting and cool and so were the staff. We may not return, but for people who love smoked meats, I think you’d very much enjoy it!
Kaylin — Google review
Superior is such a great place. It has a feeling of “home” but the sparkling gem is the Silver King Smokehouse! The waiters and bar tenders were so friendly and had big smiles. It was great on atmosphere and a fun place to go for good smoke food. Brisket and ribs had so much meat you can’t even finish a half an order. The salads were fresh and crisp and added to a delightful experience. Definitely will be back another time.

Walking into Bella is like walking into an old diner from the 50s. They had a wonderful menu with a lot of variety. They often do special menus for holidays. Great staff, and on Beyoncé. Lots of Art to observe on the walls. Will come back again and again. They also have an outdoor patio. That is quite lovely

My wife and I had the most delightful lunch here today. William was wonderfully pleasant, with friendly service and cheerful conversation. I had Nonna's antipasto salad and my wife had the salmon & deviled egg salad. Both meals were heavenly. The coffee is truly the best on Earth. The ambiance is charming, too! We will be back.

On our way to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, we stopped in a little town called Superior, what a quaint place! Even though most of the stores were closed, we stumbled upon a charming café called Bella’s. What a gem! The owners are from New York, and they moved to this small town because she loves to hike , and what a perfect spot for that! The Superstition Mountains are absolutely beautiful. Now, back to the café , the food was amazing! I had a French dip and some meatballs (both delicious!), and my boyfriend had a turkey focaccia sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Their son, William, was working there , such a friendly guy! He’s also a singer in a band called Sleeper Signal (you can find them on Spotify , definitely worth checking out!). After lunch, we walked around town and really enjoyed the laid-back vibe. It was such a pleasant day. If you’re ever nearby, stop in Superior and visit Bella’s, you won’t be disappointed! ❤️

Excellent fried eggplant and fresh mozzarella sandwich. The cannolis were better than in Italy. Lean and delicious pastrami and the chicken cutlet on the Godmother sandwich was yummy. Good fried pickles too. Best stop for lunch when visiting the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Sweet owner and son serving delicious food.

We've been here several times, always fantastic friendly service with a cozy atmosphere. I love the elevated breakfast dishes and breakfast specials. This weekend was a motorcycle ride with the guys and several of us ordered the shrimp & grits with eggs, really nice! The pork belly and eggs was reported delicious, (I didn't get to try) as was the Farmers omelet. I ordered a side of fruit and the bowl was generous enough that we all shared. Absolutely recommend!

I am so happy I stopped at Bella’s Cafe for lunch today! I was looking for lunch in Superior after finishing up a hike nearby, and it was phenomenal! I had a breaded buffalo chicken sandwich on focaccia bread, with onion rings. It was soooooo good! I will be fantasizing about that sandwich! Service was amazing too. Highly recommend! I will absolutely stop here again next time I’m in town!

If you want something different this could be your place. The staff is super friendly but not very efficient. We we went on a Wednesday a little after 1 pm. ( They close at 2). We were told there was a 10 minute wait. Even though there were empty tables although still dirty from the previous patrons. No problem. We were told at least 3 or 4 times they would have a table soon but none of the tables were being cleared. Finally after about 20-25 minutes someone started to clear a table. There was hope of getting a table soon! But that just aggravated the pain of waiting. The person cleaning the tables clearly was neither in a hurry or trained on how to be efficient. He did a good job but it literally took a good 5 or more minutes per table since he would do them one at a time even though tables were next to each other and dishes could have easily been cleared from multiple at one time. This is a bit silly anyway since the server should clear at least some of the plates when the bring the bill. Since we weren't next in line that added another 10 plus minutes to the wait. Fortunately we had been looking at the menu while waiting so when we were seated, we ordered. I think they are just inadequately staffed since everyone working there seemed to be family. Our food seemingly took forever to arrive. We ordered the fish and chips which was very good. The chips were perfectly cooked, hot and tasty. We also ordered a Godfather sandwich. That was just ok, actually it was soggy. The focaccia bread was very soft and a bit crumbly but the soggy aspect was due to the mayonnaise and tomatoes. This is an Italian style sandwich which had mostly great ingredients and therefore didn't need mayo at all! It was hard to hold it without all the meats and cheese sliding around while trying to keep the sandwich together. I finally decided to eat with a knife and fork otherwise I would have been wearing the sandwich. The portions were healthy but even though they say pricing is reasonable, it cost us over $48 for the two items, one Italian soda and a small side salad which was substituted for the lays potato chips that normally come with the sandwich. Overall we enjoyed eating here but they really do need to work on efficiency. We were there nearly two hours on a weekday. We will likely try them again but it's not a rush to do so. UPDATE: I guess a hit a nerve with the responder. That wasn't my intent. I spoke highly of the fish and chips, uniqueness of the property and friendliness of the stuff. The other aspects were intended to give the establishment some constructive feedback on how they are seen by some customers and what they could do to improve satisfaction and ultimately repeat business and customers. Their response made it sound like I gave them one star (I gave them 4) and was totally unsatisfied. I'm sorry if it came out that way despite saying we enjoyed eating there. And no there were no exaggerations. From the moment we walked in the door until we walked out we spent almost 2 hours. Had we not had our order ready and given our card when he brought the bill I think reaching two hours was inevitable. The attack response to my constructive factual review is quite surprising and shows they really don't care about my opinion or my business.

Jalapeños is a popular spot for delicious Mexican food, offering both quick bites and a relaxing sit-down experience. Located conveniently on the highway, it provides outdoor window service and indoor seating options. The place is described as a hidden gem with creative and terrific food, including bacon-wrapped burritos and supreme burritos stuffed with tacitos. While the service is usually great, there have been occasional instances of poor service reported by some customers.
Stopped by here on our roadtrip to Superior. Customer service was fantastic. Lots of things on the menu and food was pretty good! Wife had the chicken burrito and lots of great flavor, including good beans and rice. I had the pork chimichanga. Good flavor, but too much meat. The chimi needs something else inside to break up the large quantity of meat. Maybe some beans or a sauce with the meat. Food was still great for a small Mexican place. Would definitely go back.

I can't recommend Jalapeños in Superior, Arizona, highly enough! This place deserves a solid 5-star rating for their incredible food, particularly their burritos. The burritos are not only huge but also packed with flavor! Each bite is a taste sensation, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of spices. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients, making every burrito a satisfying and delicious meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. If you're in the area, you absolutely must stop by Jalapeños and try their amazing burritos. You won't be disappointed! Great job, Jalapeños team!

Stopped in for some food on a road trip. Good quality. Taste was great. Big portions. Good value. Quick service. Everything tasted great. I ordered a Barbacoa Burrito, very filling. My buddy ordered a fajita plate (steak, shrimp and chicken). The fajita plate comes with beans, rice and veggies. The chips and salsa were good too.

Ashley was friendly and fun. Great service. Great Mexican food. (Green sauce was really spicy today). We usually go to the one in Coolidge, but Ashley was the star of this visit. Thanks.

All we care about is how good the food is. It was good. We will be back. This is a great place for a quick to go bite or to sit down and relax as you pass through. You can't miss it right on the highway. Outdoor window service as well as indoor seating and ordering is available. Update. We went back here tonight for our second visit. Last time we got it to go. This time we ate there. We were greeted when we walked in and invited to sit wherever we wanted. Our server was attentive but not overbearing checking on us at key times. I asked for recommendations and the Carnitas platter was recommended without hesitation. As an alternate the shredded beef tacos were suggested as also good. We ordered both. They did not disappoint! The Carnitas came out on a sizzling platter. Absolutely tender and delicious! The tacos were fantastic as well. My wife and I could have easily shared the platter as the meat was abundant. If you are ever driving through Superior, it would be a mistake to pass this place up. Back for a third time today. Again we enjoyed the shredded beef tacos but decided to try something new. We opted for the chicken enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce. Flavor was good but they were slightly dry. The sauce would have fixed that had it been added to the inside but it was only on top. Service was friendly and good.

Well done! Everything was great - the food, the atmosphere, and especially Corinna! She was great, and this was the best Mexican food we've had since moving Arizona almost 2 years ago! We can't wait to visit again next time we're in Superior.

I got caldo de res, the meat was hard dry and old. The sheared coleslaw was old and bitter, the bread was greasy and very salty. I couldn't eat it. The waitress never came back to check on our food so I just ordered an other a burrito to go, it was ok. But the caldo was not taking away from the bill. I told the waitress the caldo was not good. She just gave a face and went to the back continue eating her food. Sad I won't stop there again.

Jade Grill Asian BBQ in Superior stands out as the top choice among four restaurants visited. Local Trail Angel MJ recommended the place, highlighting the talented and skilled chef, Lucy, whose expertise shines through in the delicious food. The establishment may be small but is impeccably clean, with a larger space available upstairs for large parties. Notably, Jade Grill is unique among Superior's eateries as it serves food on real plates with proper cutlery instead of disposable items.
First time here, read the reviews about the pork ribs but we showed up at lunch time and it wasn't on their lunch menu. I inquired about them as that's what I wanted and she gladly accommodated me. Best ribs I've ever had.. wife had the Thai chicken bento box and she said it was delicious. It was a kind of strange restaurant though as when we pulled up we weren't sure it was a restaurant at all. very small dining area. I suppose in this small town you don't need a big one.

Amazing food and sweet owner! We ordered pork ribs, thai chicken, and lettuce wrapped beef. All three meats were delicious, the pork was smoked in the back, and the beef had no gristle whatsoever. All the veggies tasted fresh as well. Will definitely go again!

The food here is fresh, made with love and very tasty. We had the Bento plate and it was beyond good! Rich had the Thai Chicken Breast and I had the Tofu with Peanut Sauce. Highly recommend stopping in to check it out! Check her hours first if you're not local.

Wow..we didn't expect to find a place like the Jade Grill in of all places, Superior, AZ After a group of 9 of us visited the Arboretum, we called to see if room to service us...She made room for us in the nice private patio. She did say next time it would be better to give her a day warning as she would have called in some help as she does it all on her own! Amazing...all the meals were great, fresh, original, and at a very reasonable price! And then to hear Lucy's story is really something, but go there so she can tell you in person!
Steve H — Google review
Amazing smoked meats prepared in a style that fuses various asian cultures and the fresh ingredients available in the Arizona Desert. The owner is incredibly sweet, and willing to chat about her (fascinating!) life, and she's always busting her tail to run the show. The care she puts into her recipes is obvious. I recommend the pork roll from the lunch menu!
Alex V — Google review
The best Asian bbq ribs, Orange chicken, and Thai BBQ chicken. There's a smoker in back, as big as a car (!) where Lucy, the owner and chef, does her magic with the ribs. We love making the beautiful drive from the East Valley, to Superior just to go here we celebrated a birthday recently. The ginger lemonade is fantastic. So are the crispy fried wonton chips with the home made mango salsa which has a slight and subtle kick. The grilled pineapple appetizer slices with burnt sugar is a must try!! Everything is fresh, and all the sauces are special house recipes. Just a great find in Superior.

Hands-down the best of the 4 restaurants I tried on my visit to Superior. Local Arizona Trail Angel MJ took me there, and she knows what's up! The chef (Lucy?) is really good and experienced and it shows in the food, homemade gingerade and fast service. It's a small space but it's clean and I am told there is a larger space upstairs for big groups. It's worth mentioning that this was the only restaurant I ate at in Superior where the food is served on actual plates with non-plastic silverware! Really, styrofoam boxes and paper plates were the dine-in norm at the other 3! They all had good food but I am sitting in your restaurant, not some kid's birthday party at the park! Jade is the spot.

Took a drive to Superior tonight to go to Jade Grill. We had kung pao chicken and BBQ ribs. The ribs literally fell off the bone and had the most amazing taste. The prices we very reasonable. Lucy was a one woman shiw tonight ... Hostess, waitress, cook and dishwasher. Not sure how she does it all. We will definitely be back.

De Marco's Pizza Subs & More in Superior is a hidden gem that has quickly become a favorite stop for travelers and locals alike. Known for its authentic Italian dishes, the restaurant shines with its signature Pizza Italiana Originale, crafted from high-quality ingredients. Visitors rave about the mouthwatering Green Chile Philly cheesesteak, often described as one of the best sandwiches they've ever tasted, served on what feels like homemade ciabatta bread.
This was a pleasant surprise! Stopped to grab a bite on a road trip and could not believe how good this place was. My husband ordered the hatch green chili Philly cheesesteak and he said it was close to the best sandwich he’s ever had in his life. I got the mushroom burger and onion rings. The burger was perfect and the bun was delicious definitely tasted freshly baked. We will always stop here now on road trips. Can’t wait to explore the menu.

- Didn't realize there were two similar places within miles of each other. Deleted my Globe location review, remaking here for the correct location. Dined in - I ordered the Fettucine Alfredo, came with a bread roll with butter, and a large thing of water with no ice + side salad to-go (came with meal). Meal with 15% tip was just barely under $20. I ate this meal at roughly 11-1130am on 8/25/2025, roughly 2-4 hours later I developed nausea, I shrugged it off, then at about 11-1130pm I ate my next meal. I developed even more nausea and an overall sick feeling originating in my stomach. I was very sick for about 48 hours after I ate here, threw up once, horrible stomach pain. I noticed a strange smell in the men's bathroom, I've smelled this before at other places rarely, it's sort of like a sewer water smell, could be related to drainage - no idea. But the thing is, I noticed that same smell but in taste form in the water I ordered, also noticed it in the food I ate, and I also smelled it on the way out later that day same weird smell that is also the same as the men's bathroom. There's something wrong with their water or cleaning standards, I'm not sure. The younger lady working, she was friendly but she forgot about me for awhile a couple times, she forgot my water, not a big deal, just sort of middle ground service. It seemed like some regulars came a few minutes after me and they got priority service (at least that's what it felt like). The atmosphere is small and cramped, it's mostly fixed booths with fixed tables that don't move. There is one single half circle booth with a table that moves. This is not a wheelchair accessible location, wouldn't even attempt it. The entire parking lot is very cramped, with no one there it's beautiful, but if this place was even moderately busy the parking situation is nightmare level. They have uneven ground, pot holes, just an overall degraded parking situation, do not bring your large truck here, you may not be able to get out later. --- As a restaurant they have an obligation to make sure their cleanliness standards are high so that people don't get sick. --- Couple other notes- - I would say the parking lot and interior situation is NOT ADA. - They charge a $4.99 fee for anyone who shares an entree. - Their prices are relatively high for the quality of food offered. - Soda is $3.50? +50 cents to get it in a to-go cup. - Portion size seemed good, from my one meal experience. - None of the other reviewers mentioned the smell or taste that I experienced, however I'm not like everyone else, I notice things that people don't notice. - There may be an outdoor seating area but I am not 100% sure.

Great roadside stop with friendly service and fantastic food. We stopped in as we were driving though Superior on a trip. We didn't know what to expect but we were so surprised with how good the food here is. I got a large Green Chile Philly and my wife ordered a hamburger. The Green Chile Philly may be my favorite sandwich now. It was on what seemed to be home made ciabatta bread and it was AMAZING. The flavor is so on point, it's a perfect sandwich. Be warned - it's got a little kick of spice from the chiles, nothing serious, but if you don't like any spicy food at all, I would try something else. The large sandwich is a lot of food, I would probably order the small next time. My wife's hamburger was also on homemade ciabatta and it was a perfect hamburger. A normal sized patty, not some 3/4 lb hunk of meat, and it was also cooked just right. It must take time to get everything this right, because it took a little while to get everything out, and I noticed that was the way with everyone in there, so anticipate a little but if wait if you decide to stop here. We will be stopping back anytime we are in town. 10/10

The Fish is liquid batter , i prefer crumb coating. At least it did not smell like most cod does. Fries were crispy like I ordered them. I have had their pizza and it is great.

This is my second time getting food here, and WOW! The 1st time i ordered pizza and wings togo, which were delicious! But tonight, my kids and i dined in, and found out that this place is not just great pizza. We had their pasta, salad, burger, and multiple styles of fries. Everything was chefs kiss, perfect! Not to mention their signature Michelada! Not just like, LOVE!!!

Food did not disappoint! We ordered a medium veggie pizza and it was delicious. We added an Italian salad and hot wings as sides. The food quality was great and the ingredients were fresh. We will definitely be returning to the restaurant. Highly recommend.

I have been frequenting this restaurant since it’s been here in superior. At least once a month. I have never, not even once, had a bad meal or bad service. Consistently amazing food, and I’m always ordering something different. Consistently good service. By far my favorite restaurant in town! They never disappoint! And tons of options!

The service was great and the food was amazing! The restaurant is small but nice with six booths and one large table. We ordered takeout and the food was packed well for travel (plus they provided plates and napkins). We ordered a large Buffalo Chicken Pizza and they were kind enough to swap out the chicken for their wonderful steak. This was honestly one of the best pizzas my family had ever had. We also ordered a cold sub and it was exceptionally good with great cold cuts and soft flavorful bread. I don't think we can pass through Superior without stopping at De Marco's! It is now truly a family favorite.

Usually I love this place. I usually get a mushroom and Swiss burger with chicken instead of beef and a bowl of French onion soup and get it where ever I can. Since it's so hard to find. This time was the 1st time I did a to go order. I order bowl of French onion and fries. Got home to see my soup was just onions and very salty broth no toast or cheese and couldnt eat it. For here: French Onion soup, to go: Onion Soup or broth. I called and the girl said since it was to go we don't add the toast or cheese, ( they should mention that) so you're paying full price for an incomplete item just because it's to go. I wish I was told then I could have went to bashes and got the stuff to make for my self.

This place feels like breakfast was invented here—pancakes the size of steering wheels, bacon so crispy it could double as desert kindling, and coffee that hits harder than the morning sun. Cozy, old-school vibes, friendly staff, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. If you don’t leave here full enough to question your life choices, you didn’t order right.

Edwardo's Pizzeria is a delightful haven for pizza enthusiasts, nestled in the heart of Superior. This charming spot has garnered a loyal following thanks to its mouthwatering pizzas crafted with fresh ingredients and homemade dough prepared daily by the manager, Eva. Diners rave about the inviting atmosphere and attentive service that make every visit feel special. Whether you're grabbing takeout or enjoying a meal on-site, you can expect delicious flavors that remind you of home-cooked goodness.
Oh my gosh, this place is a gem. Super nice people, really good food and very reasonable prices. If passing through Superior, it's worth stopping, for sure. If you live in Superior, you already know it's awesome. I could tell that it was a neighborhood favorite just based on the other people who stopped by while we were there. Everyone seemed to know the nice lady at the counter. Their pizza is great. Much better than we expected. We ordered the Edwardo's special and will probably order it again next time we stop in. We also tried a cheese crisp just because it sounded good and it was! We ordered the "small" and it was actually plenty big to share. We'll be back, for sure.

SunFlour Market & Cafe is a charming hidden gem that offers a delightful atmosphere and exceptional customer service, making visitors feel right at home. It's not just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience with great conversation and an extensive market to explore. The cafe serves fantastic sandwiches, drinks, pastries, and cakes while the market features handmade cards, kitchen items, jewelry, furniture, art pieces, local rocks with informative vendors like Sam.
This is a fantastic hidden gem. The food is good, however the atmosphere is awesome and the customer service makes you feel like you are right at home. We stopped by for a quick bite to eat but stayed for the great conversation and spent a lot of time wandering around looking at the market. So much to see! Love the patio. Be sure to put this one at the top of your "must do" list ... great place to bring your out-of-town guests looking for a taste of Arizona.

So cute! Definitely a gitchy shop with a bunch of local crafts/jewelry as well as standard tourist trap buys. If you stop in, definitely get one of their sandwiches. They're simple, but delicious and the shopkeeper is a sweetheart. Enjoy your time on the patio, which is accessible to the street, but has privacy. The back side of the patio looks out onto the town and gives a nice view.

This is a unique boutique that has handmade cards to kitchen helpers to jewelry to furniture and art. Then if that isn't enough Willa has the most fantastic sandwiches and drinks, add in a pastry or a cake (carrot is my favorite) and you are set. It is a fun place to shop anytime of the year. And is the one place in town with local rocks that Vendor Sam can give you info on.

The Superior Barmacy is a delightful gem that exceeded expectations, especially after an initial plan fell through. With its charming old West Saloon vibe, the bar area invites you to unwind while enjoying a fantastic outdoor patio and stage. The menu boasts delicious offerings like the Lakeside Sandwich and hand-battered zucchini, showcasing a commitment to quality over typical bar fare. Patrons rave about the garlic parmesan chicken wings and prime rib, all served with friendly efficiency by attentive staff members.
We had seen this establishment on TV and wanted to check it out. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted immediately by Patricia who also was our waitress. She gave us fast, friendly service. The 2 bartenders (owners?) also checked with us as they passed by. Food and drinks were also very good.

I have to say I am a very tough customer to please, I have very high standards especially for restaurants, having worked in the industry. This new restaurant bar really breathes some fresh life into downtown superior. The building was painstakingly restored over two years mixing a number of the historical cues of the original building with modern western flair. You can really tell the attention to detail and care that was taken on this project. Thankfully unlike some restored historic places I’ve visited the attention to detail doesn’t stop with the ambience. I had breakfast and it was absolutely top-notch, both in service and food quality . From the fresh squeezed orange juice to the eggs perfectly prepared to the vanilla French toast on the high-quality flatware this is a experience I would expect from a fine dinning establishment Scottsdale. But at a much more reasonable price and not half as pretentious. If you’re traveling up the US60 passing through Superior Arizona definitely stop and give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Originally intended on going to another restaurant/bar.....but they were full. This was an unexpected surprise!! The bar area is really cool with the old West Saloon feel. The patio and stage area outside is really cool as well. The food was great! We got the Lakeside Sandwich, the rosemary garlic fries, and the garlic parmesian chicken wings. All of it was delicious. Decent beer selection....all bottle...no tap....which is fine by me. The bartender made some legit mixed drinks. I'm looking forward to seeing this place during Arizona Bike Week!

Tired of the same old, same old when you eat out? Try this place. Donald can really cook! Chicken and sausage gumbo with rice has a flavor you won't find just anywhere!
