Harbour Table Table is a family restaurant serving classic international favourites, grill dishes and burgers. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere with outdoor seating and is located in Caernarfon.
First time visit. Never heard of the chain before. We hadn't booked a table but there was plenty available. The service was very good and staff very friendly. The food was of a high standard and just enough to avoid feeling overly full. Everything was reasonably priced, so no complaints there! I would definitely return again! (Friendly staff makes such a difference!)

Great place to have a meal. We went early on a Thursday eve and took advantage of the mains for £5 offer. Starters were a good size as were puddings and they were on offer too. The food was hot but my fish was a little grey looking inside the batter and the mushy peas just a solid block. All the other food was good though especially the desserts (brownie and Cadbury choc) . But the best bit was Matt who collected our orders and served our food . He was friendly efficient and made us feel very comfortable and not at all rushed . Thankyou
Susanne S — Google review
We were first greeted by extremely rude male waitress who was happy to send us on our way to other restaurants around. Thankfully Mat sorted us a table and took good care of us the whole evening even with how busy it was when we first arrived. Food was typical to the place and view to the harbour was lovely 😊
Vilma K — Google review
Great service! Food was served fast. Both our hamburgers missed bacon. In practically no time the waiter was back with bacon. No discussions, no fuss. Just taking care of us, the customers. Food was tasty and reasonably priced too. Great views over the harbour with beautiful sunset.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars! Had breakfast at **Table Table** and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were all superb — greeting everyone with genuine smiles and positive energy. It really makes a difference when the team enjoys what they do! A special mention to **Katie**, who made the experience even better. I’d happily spend a few more hours with her just to learn more Welsh words and enjoy the friendly chat. Diolch yn fawr, Katie! ☕🍳✨

Excellent service with attentive, helpful and friendly staff! The food was really good too with everyone enjoying their meals

Another pub who have 2 members of staff doing the work of 6. We were told it was a 45 min wait for food, even though the place was practically empty, it took about 55 mins. The food wasn't too bad, although the chips were very hard. The pub has lovely views of the harbour, although the windows need a good clean. Not a bad experience but typical of the big chain pubs
Cherry B — Google review
Absolutely 5 stars for Nicola and Katie! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Despite it being an incredibly busy time, both ladies delivered outstanding service with a smile. They couldn’t do enough for us - nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfast was served promptly, and their friendly, professional attitude made the experience even better. A real credit to the team!

Parc Britannia is a trendy establishment that offers a variety of popular international dishes, grilled options, and burgers. Despite being very crowded, the wait time in the bar was surprisingly short, and the appetizer arrived quickly and steaming hot. The main course consisted of a flavorful burger that was satisfyingly large, although not as massive as claimed. However, the profiterole sundae lacked taste and lacked chocolate sauce.
Great breakfast at table table. Robin served us and was absolutely brilliant, speedy service and I couldn’t quibble on anything. The breakfast is really good value and it’s brought fresh to you which I find really good. Plus in the deal you could help yourself to anything off the buffet table to. Would highly recommend for families for breakfast too!

We had a fantastic experience at Table Table, Parc Menai in Bangor, and a huge part of that was thanks to Mathew, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Nothing was too much trouble—he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and his warm personality really added to the atmosphere. The food was great, but Mathew’s outstanding service truly made the day special. It’s rare to come across someone so naturally good at what they do. A real credit to the team—thank you, Mathew!
Karen R — Google review
I've had better food. But also worse. For the price 2 meals for £12 or so. It's cheaper than a takeaway. Staff were pleasant service pretty quick. And certainly wasn't inedible. Fish was a little over cooked but wasn't bad
Dave F — Google review
Had a reservation booked for 8.15pm was left standings with my family for over quatre of an hour at the door staff walking past ignoring us. When they finally got to us we were told the kitchen was closed I explained that we had booked for 8.15pm and had been waiting for a long time she then said that we would be waiting for a hr for our food and that would take it passed the closing time of the kitchen. I asked if I could put in a complaint she said that I could leave a review I said I wanted the head office telephone number she couldn't supply this . The service that we received was very very poor would recommend booking for all its worth as they dont hold the promises of a booking will call the restaurant on.monday. Service very very poor Booking not worth the work becouse they dont keep to them After we telephoned the restaurant and I had spoken to the manager who was very pleasant and approachable the problems we're resolved he could not apologise enough We went back the weekend after our first visit and the service wa 10× better we were served be a very professional and kind member of staff the atmosphere was much better we really enjoyed our food thank you all at table table Bangor

We had a lovely meal last night at Parc Britania. It was busy so the wait for food was longer than normal but when it arrived it couldn't be faulted. The mix grill is very generous and good value and the sirloin steak was also good. The staff were attentive and friendly. We have never had a bad meal at this place as we are quite local it is a good reasonably priced place for a meal
Joan J — Google review
The food was super reasonable and you get for what you pay for. Unfortunately, we waited a whole hour before getting our starter even though there was hardly anybody there. I think we were forgotten about. We asked the staff multiple times for our food. People that arrived after us had finished their dinners before we got our starter. Had to cancel our pudding in the end as ran out of time. Very disappointing service
Katie R — Google review
Very slow service. We were in there for 2 and a half hours and only had a main and dessert. Beef pie was warm inside , not hot. We were never once asked if our food was OK and never apologised for it taking so long.
Nathan C — Google review
I usually take the fish off the menu but there has not been any fish on the menu for weeks now as the fish frier has been broken for weeks diabolical get it fixed as you are losing customers fast. The staff are pleasant and never had a problem with them. So to the owners of table table buy a new fish frier instead of trying to fix the old one.

The Black Bull Inn - JD Wetherspoon may not have the most inviting exterior, but its lovely interior and excellent beer make it a great stop after a long walk. The local patrons are friendly and happy to share tips about the beautiful area. Situated on Bangor's High Street, this Wetherspoons location is popular among students for its cheap drinks and social atmosphere. It offers easy access to student accommodations and is known for its affordability.
Have a quick dinner before back to hotel. Easy to get a parking. Food not bad just a bit smaller portion compared to with London’s Wetherspoon. Mind be need to order some more to share between few of us.
Emily T — Google review
Visited Wetherspoons Bangor and had a really bad experience. The service was unprofessional, and the food wasn’t great either. One of our drinks had a fly in it, and when we raised it with the staff, they told us the manager refused to replace it, saying it wasn’t their fault. That response alone shows a total lack of responsibility. They eventually gave us a new drink, but only after we insisted , and even then, we were told that if it happened again, they wouldn’t do anything about it. It didn’t stop there. One of my friends didn’t get her food because they accidentally served it to another table , and shockingly, they just took it back from that table and gave it to us. That’s unacceptable from both a hygiene and a customer service point of view. What’s most frustrating is that no one in charge seemed to take the situation seriously. The manager or whoever was responsible didn’t show any care or effort to fix things properly. Overall, it was a really disappointing visit, and we won’t be coming back. Basic respect and food hygiene were completely lacking.
Arun I — Google review
Decent though pretty generic spoons serving cheap food and cheap beer. You get what you pay for, with nothing exceptional about the place but nothing bad either. The beer garden was a good size and split across a few levels which was good, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Duncan M — Google review
This has been my local spoons for a good few years now and it's great, I wouldn't change much about it, however I came here for a warm meal last week with a good friend of mine. I thought I would order something new for a change so I got the ham and cheese panini, food arrived swiftly and I was excited to tuck in to my well deserved meal however... after biting into my panini as you can see in the photo there was little to no ham. Leaving me to eat a baguette with a texture resembling a piece of cardboard with little to no cheese or any flavour other than the bread. I will still come to this spoons just a warning about the ham in the paninis for others. 7/10
Brad N — Google review
The food in spoons can be quite awful, this is suposed to be a cheese and ham penini but as u can see there is hardly any existence of cheese, im tempted to send it back case this garbage cost me 6 bucks, think is last year they had proper cheese on them, so im very disappointed, I have a lot of stuff to say about there poor food but I just cant be arsed, ranging from there fish, to simple noodles to chips, very poor, if it wasent for the great staff I would never go there
Mike L — Google review
Beautiful building and outside space. Service was really good. Food was 'Spoons usual standard (fair to middlin') but would go again. Typically though, the loos are upstairs. I have a knackered knee, took one look at them and decided to wait!

Bwyd Da (Good Food in English) is a relaxing cafe right in the centre of Bangor. Reasonable prices with very friendly staff. Having recently moved to Bangor it's now become my default cafe. There are a few gluten free options as well and there's a good community involvement. I had their Greek salad which was most impressive.

Delicious food and friendly service. Good for Gluten and dairy free.
Katie — Google review
We came in specifically because we thought the menu looked great online. Turns out they recently changed management and there wasn't a Welsh thing on the menu which was disappointing. That said, we had the soup and it was delicious. One suggestion, as a former server, ditch the giant blocks of wood they have to carry food out on. A bowl of hot soup on a heavy bit of wood looked pretty dangerous as it was sat in front of me.

Miracle Café in Bangor is a charming addition to the High Street, offering a delightful dining experience. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant visit. The menu features an exciting array of options, including American-style pancakes with berries and honey Greek yogurt at an affordable price. Additionally, students can enjoy a 10% discount on their orders. What sets Miracle Café apart is its unique concept as a Christian establishment, offering both physical and spiritual menus.
Lovely caffe love the vibe. Great staff, really looked after us and friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Clean and airy. Everything feels in good condition. Might not be the best place to go with mobility issues as the toilets are downstairs but there is changing facilities for babies.
Sam R — Google review
We must have walked past this so many times ! Today in a desperate search for somewhere decent to eat we popped in. The staff are incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Homemade cakes and scones on the counter is always a good start . We ordered the American breakfast and the house burger whilst my granddaughter (21)months had chicken nuggets. The menu is comprehensive and a pleasant escape from the norm ! Food arrived in a timely fashion and was well presented. It really tasted as good as it looked. Proper homemade chunky chips with the burger and nuggets . The nuggets were also very good and we discovered taste even better dipped in maple syrup. What a gem of a place. We both did a little happy dance ! We shared a scone with jam and clotted cream for pudding. Scone was a little overdone for our taste but that's just down to personal preference. Ambience was also excellent. Highly recommend.

What a surprise! ☺️ Hidden inauspiciously on Bangor High Street is the Miracle Cafe. Friendly welcome and great table service! The breakfasts are huge and perfect and served up to 12.00 noon. The lunches are huge and really tasty. This is a very popular place by people in the know. If you are looking for a proper tasty lunch with some class in Bangor, look no further. Reasonable prices as well. Recommended without reservation! 😀👍

Okay so I’m excited about this café & its concept, maybe a tad biased because it is a Christian establishment & I have never had experienced a café with this concept. The menu was quite exciting it offers a paid physical & free spiritual menu☺️ the staff are personable and the general ambience is nice. I am tempted to give all the details of the menu how would you, dear reader satisfy your curiosity😄? I had breakfast and I think it was good. Depending on choice, I believe it is reasonably priced. In all, I believe I would be visiting again.
I A — Google review
What a wonderful experience! First impressions absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, relaxing, rustic feel. Staff are all very welcoming and got us seated straight away. Then my boyfriend spilt a full diet coke all over the table and all the staff were so polite and even had a joke with us about the situation. We ordered and food was piping hot and on the table within 10 minutes. I can’t stress this enough this was some of the best food we have ever eaten! Saying that you would think it would be pricey but I would’ve paid double what I did for the overall experience at the miracle cafe! So sad we were too full for a dessert!
Ashlea H — Google review
A very laid back cafe with cheerful staff. They have a separate gluten free menu with a good selection of veggie and vegan options on the main menu. My wife had the gluten free American style pancakes, as you can see gluten free does not have to be boring. A taste of heaven in Bangor.

The Black Boy Inn Four & Six Restaurant & Bar is a historic medieval inn in Wales, known for its locally sourced Welsh dining and seafood specials. It is one of the oldest pubs in Wales, offering a great selection of beers and comfortable ancient rooms for those brave enough to stay the night. The inn's surroundings include Caffi Maes and the smallest bar in Wales, perfect spots to enjoy local food and watch the world go by.
Great place to stay, central location, room was really and had everything we needed. Staff were super friendly. Dinner was great quality and good value with no waiting. Only downside is the lack of parking, though a short walk away is free parking after 16:30 till 10:00

Stayed here this weekend (2 nights). Fantastic pub and cosy rooms, really friendly staff. The pubs has two bars plus a restaurant area, all of which have a great atmosphere and classic pub feels. We had breakfast included which was a help yourself to drinks and cereals/ yogurts/ fruits plus a cooked option which you order. Went for the Welsh breakfast both mornings which was good. Also ate in the bar one evening and had wings to start followed by the burger. You can order from the table using a QR code however that didn't include the specials so we had to order from the bar in the end. Not a problem at all. Good location next to the castle. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience at The Black Boy Inn! The food was spot on — fresh, full of flavour and served nice and hot. The beer was great too, really good selection and perfectly poured. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively at the same time. You can tell there’s real care and pride in what they do here. Definitely one of the best places around for good food and a proper pint. Highly recommend! 🍻

Restaurant looking good, very cosy (at least room first on right). I receive very tasty lamb shank, and my wife got a lovely pie, all piping hot. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either. We left restaurant full and satisfied. Highly recommended!!
Lukasz K — Google review
The location itself is fine, the pub is a historic inn, located within the castle walls and looked worth a visit when we were looking at places to eat and drink. We didn't have a meal here but dropped in twice during our stay in the town. Both occasions I had the pleasure of being served by one of the rudest members of staff I've ever encountered. Definitely won't bother again.
Gareth L — Google review
Can’t comment on the hotel/rooms as we just visited the restaurant. Ordered the lasagne and mixed grill. The mixed grill was fine but the lasagne was really odd - not at all like the traditional dish - no layers, no sauce in the mince, no white sauce - just minced beef with a sheet of lasagne on top and topped with chopped tomatoes and cheese. Really bizarre and not at all to our taste. Can’t say we would return but the atmosphere was nice, service was fine - maybe we just ordered the wrong dish!
Tom M — Google review
A return stay at Black Boy Inn, we’ve enjoyed their unique and spacious rooms inside the confines of the old walled city. The beds have all been very comfy. They have 16 on-site parking spots (albeit snug), with 4 EV chargers at 22kw. They’ve a Restaurant, a Pub, and a Bar. The included Breakfast was a very good start to the day.

Popped in here for lunch had the Steak Ciabatta which was truly tremendous. Lashings of fresh coffee finished off an excellent little meal. This place is both pleasing to the eye and the palate. I would strongly recommend that you pop in here and try this place out if you like high quality food, presentation and service.

Our go-to when in Abersoch. Well priced brunch, good service, quick, tasty. So good, went again the next morning!

The food was good, the burger I had was a good size although was nothing too special. My girlfriend’s halloumi burger was well cooked and tasted nice. We did a pre order as we were a large party, the food came out in good time and the service was good and the staff were very attentive. The restaurant is slightly cramped, there was a lot of tables in one area with not much space to manoeuvre. Overall a decent experience that I would recommend if in the area but I wouldn’t go out of your way to try it.

We had an awful experience at Zinc Bar and Grill in Abersoch. We booked online for a special family birthday meal, paid a £60 deposit, and looked forward to celebrating on the last night of our stay. However, when we arrived, we were refused a table simply because we had children with us – something that was never made clear at any point during the booking process. The website does not allow you to select adults or children, nor does it make these restrictions obvious before taking your money. To make matters worse, they would not refund the £60 deposit, even though it was their unclear booking system that misled us in the first place. We ended up hungry, disappointed, and £60 out of pocket on what should have been a happy occasion. If there are restrictions on who can dine, the website should make this crystal clear before letting people book and pay. At the very least, we should have received a refund for being turned away. Poor customer service, misleading booking system, and zero consideration for families. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

The Greek yogurt with honey is particularly refreshing, offering a perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. The cafe's team provides excellent service, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
What a hidden gem amazing place hidden on industrial estate next to lidl! Amazing quality of food and fantastic service would definitely recommend if you’re in the area! Offer a wide selection of breakfast options including full breakfast, pancakes, eggs Benedict. a lot to offer! Very child friendly! Toilets on site, nice clean warm large restaurant. This place deserves lots of custom!

Such a hidden gem. Due to the location, i assumed it would be a small place. But the interior is so warm and welcoming. Staff and friendly. Didn't expect the portions for the food. The toats were the best I've ever had.

Great little find in Porthmadog. It's on an industrial estate but when you go in, it looks like a high street cafe. We had breakfast there which was well cooked. The coffee is a bit strong but it is from a machine and not freshly made. It had GF options but you pay extra for these, which I haven't come across before. However my partner, who has Coeliac Disease said it was a tasty breakfast. The staff were friendly and the cafe and toilets were very clean.
Dawn M — Google review
Food was very tasty and we enjoyed our breakfast. You have to order at the counter and are given your drinks to take to your table. Food is then cooked and brought to you. It was a bit of a wait for food to arrive. We were also seated by the food ordering point which meant we had a stream of people walking around us as they went up to order.

The Big Rock Cafe is a family-run establishment in Porthmadog, LL49, known for its quality breakfast and brunch offerings. Visitors praise the friendly staff and recommend trying the delicious breads, breakfast rolls, and a variety of hot drinks. The cafe's beautiful aesthetic adds to the overall experience. Customers also appreciate the relaxed seating area at the back of the cafe.
Would give 6 stars if I could to my favourite café in the UK! The food here is always fresh and beautiful, with very friendly staff. I come here almost every day when I'm holidaying near Porthmadog, and the staff recognise me and my partner even after nearly a year away! Plenty of vegan options and a good rotating stock of savouries and desserts. Cozy seating area in a gorgeous building that feels deeply established and historical. You couldn't ask for more in a place; one that serves not just baked goods, but a helping of human kindness cushioned between proper doorstep slices of bread.
Michael L — Google review
The Rock Café quickly became one of my favorite stops. The drinks were absolutely amazing — super refreshing and full of flavor. I had a coffee that was simply fabulous — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I also tried one of their sourdough sandwiches and a bowl of soup, and both were fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, with just the right balance of comfort and flavor. The vibe was warm and welcoming, and I felt right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

We found this place by chance while staying in the area for the week. We’re so glad we did, we ate here 3-4 times. The double espresso was perfect, unlike the many coffee chains these days. The food is all so fresh, I can highly recommend the toasted sandwiches, Homity pie and granola. The toasted sandwiches are HUGE! I had bacon and Brie and the bread is so fresh tasting. Service was also great with good humour. The only slight criticism would be the tables could be wiped more often, but a few crumbs didn’t spoil it at all! Lovely staff, perfect food and something truly different.

Brilliant coffee shop, very welcoming and the taste is really good. The whole café is clean and well-presented. I totally recommend this coffee shop and cappuccinos here. One of the best coffee shops I have been to.
Owain — Google review
Update: The cafe eventually replied and apologised for the mouldy cake. We were offered a refund or free cake and drinks. When we visited at midday there were no more cakes, so we had donuts instead. These were ok, but nothing special. Original review: We bought vegan carrot cake to take home but discovered two spots of mould on it. Too late to return, we emailed the cafe but they didn't even bother answering. We rang and staff confirmed they knew about the mould but didn't even offer an apology, only said "the owner doesn't live in the area" as if that somehow clears them of responsibility.

We love this cafe!! Best cafe in the area! Best coffee and breads. Big beautiful fresh baked doughnuts, iced buns, sausage rolls and all sorts of lovely Welsh favorites. Friendly staff and such a homely place to sit. Cannot rate this place more highly.
Hannah R — Google review
This cafe gives the feel of trying to be a trendy upper end place. Food is OK. Service is crap, customer service leaves A LOT to be desired (except the young guy serving drinks who was the only polite person in there) topped off with clear your own table and leave a tip in a birdbox on the wall. Wouldn't recommend at all. Would fit better on a student campus.
Rachel B — Google review
This is a beauty of a coffee shop! We were about to stop in the local Costa and something caught our eye further up the road that looked like a coffee shop. So we ventured a little further and are we glad that we did? Yes we are. The service was excellent. We just happened to be served by the owner who was a brilliant character. The bread, cakes and savoury snacks on offer were exceptional. We had a sausage roll, chocolate cookie, fruit loaf (this was UNBELIEVABLE!), an Eccles cake and some carrot cake. It was all fresh and delicious. The coffee was super fresh and they are happy to make to whatever preference you can throw at them. Our three year old very much enjoyed his kids hot chocolate. If you're in the area and want great coffee, great food and great community, this is the place for you! We loved the added touches of life bringing bible verses and if you want a bit of extra community, they host a bible study a couple of times a month. This is a place that clearly loves it's community and the people in it. The Big Rock rocks!

Brilliant stop for food and DOG friendly!!Only popped in for a drink to get out the rain. A gentleman opened the front door for us, seeing how full our hands were. We were sat upstairs by the window overlooking the sea. Ended up having some lunch in the end and a lovely lady came up and offered our dog some sausage which she absolutely appreciated. Food, drink, service and atmosphere here was brilliant from start to finish. Thank you

Absolutely adore this little place, we visited for the first time while we were on holiday at Haven Hafan-Y-Môr. We arrived just before the breakfast menu ends and the lunch time menu starts. My partner ordered a breakfast bap (two of them actually as he was very hungry) and he made changes to the contents of the bap. I ordered off of the lunch menu, I had a cheese and onion omellete. My son (aged 4) ordered sausage, chips and gravy. We had a lovely man take our order, were gutted we didn't catch his name so we could mention him properly. He sat down with us while taking our order and showed us the specials board too on the TV screen. The upstairs seating is very nice, the styling is beautiful. The food was stunning, cooked to perfection. I was amazed with the salad that came with my food, I was expecting the basic generic side salad.. but this one had peppers, beetroot with a basil/pesto style glaze. We enjoyed it that much we decided to visit a second time but this time brought my partners parents with us. They absolutely loved their food, they both ordered the pulled pork baps. The man waiting on us remembered us from previously and we had a really good conversation. All the staff are lovely there. Even the downstairs seating is beautifully styled. My partner tried the cheesecake on this visit and said it was delicious. Can't wait to visit again when were next in the area.

Stopped at this gem of a cafe to spend a few hours relaxing, playing board games and enjoying nice food and drink. All the food was lovely, but can particularly vouch for the ploughman's accompanied by a lovely cider (as shown in the pictures) 🥰 Very dog friendly and very welcoming. Thanks so much for an amazing visit.

Great quality and delicious food. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were visiting the area and they gave great advice for places to visit. Very clean and tidy. Sat upstairs in the window seat with a view of the sea.

Visited here today on a trip to the area - breakfast was below average - cheap ingredients- sausage and bacon tasted cheap and the mushroom was especially lackluster tasteless and rubbery not to mention the microwaved beans - I could of looked past this more had the pricing been cheaper but it was fairly expensive for a regular sized breakfast and the ingredients were such low quality . On the other hand staff were kind and helpful but sadly the breakfast itself let the side down.

Lovely food, great selection of cakes and savoury things. We just had scones and coffee and both were good. Really friendly and welcoming service. The tables outside in the sun are by the road but have lots of lovely big planters full of flowers which make it a really nice place to sit anyway, and the road isn't busy or loud.

Visited today for a spot of lunch. Very busy but found a table easily. Food was delicious, I had the cheese and onion quiche with salad fries and coleslaw. My partner had the cheese omelette which also came with the same sides and Mum had the tomato soup. Honestly it was all fab couldn't fault it. The staff are lovely and quickly rectify any problems. Very nice coffee and real tea. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Tafarn Y Porth - JD Wetherspoon is a spacious and comfortable pub that offers classic food and drinks, including all-day breakfast. Visitors often praise the congenial atmosphere and friendly staff. Customers appreciate the quick and polite service, affordable drinks, and well-prepared meals. The pub has a typical 'Wetherspoons' vibe with rugby on TV inside, but also offers a nice big garden for a more relaxed experience.
We called in for dinner. It was really good value. We had their 3 small plates deal (we selected the leaded chips, the halloumi fries, and the chicken bites. Everything was quite tasty and cane quickly. We also had a jacket potato with beans and cheese, which was really nice and very good value. The drinks are quite cheap as well. It was a bit noisy, but that is what you expect from pubs like this For dessert we had a warm mini cookie dough which was superb and so good value/price and a millionaire ice cream This was a really nice meal, everything was very tasty, came very quick and very cheap If you want a quick bite and good value for money in Caernarfon, this is definitely the place to go. All the staff we interacted with, was nice as well

Typical Wetherspoons. Food was ok, could have included a sauce for the steak, curry wasn't anything to write home about. Would have preferred the steak to be cooked slightly more. Staff were pleasant, can't fault them. 85% of people Welsh as a first language in the area. Diolch is thank you. Prices are what's most attractive about the place to be fair. Would come again but when meals are on offer. Stella tasted odd, kind of chemically? Lemonade tasted cheap. Ok for the price though of course.

The menu boasts an extensive selection of breakfast options available all day, with all dishes cooked fresh to order. Guests can enjoy their meals on three different floors, including outdoor seating overlooking the castle and market square.
What a lovely café to be found in almost the closest position you can be to the castle. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable (cheaper than the more chic neighbouring cafes). I ordered a flat white and a bacon and egg breakfast bap. I was blown away by its massive size and I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade feeling it had. An excellent start to the day, fully recommend if you are in the area.

Fabulous food in a fabulous location, right by the castle. You would expect somewhere so close to the castle to be touristy and expensive but this was anything but that. Really quick service and great food. We had 2 main meals, 2 pints of Wrexham lager and a kids meal for £33. Would definitely recommend and return
David M — Google review
Absolutely stunning breakfast here this morning, the best in Caernarfon (we’ve tried a few 😆). Will be back when we are next here in a couple of weeks x
Dawn L — Google review
Fantastic location on the The town square, indoor seating but we take a table outside with a view of the 12th Century Castle and town walls. Best coffee in town (unsweetened oat milk !! Food menu small and simple but excellent. I can recommend the bacon and egg bap. Crispy good quality bacon with the fried egg cooked but the yolk still runny (can say I’ve never been so lucky ever before when eating out) Service is leisurely, which for me is good when food is cooked well. If food comes up quickly that says to me that a microwave is involved 😡 Personnel I’d like cafés would move way from sachets of condiments and go back to bottles - from an environment point of view moving away from single use plastic which I can never open to more sustainable bottles or even little paper cups of the sauce you request.
Jo D — Google review
Probably one of the better lunch cafes in Caernarfon. The number of locals using it is always a good litmus test. Bit of a wait to order at the counter, but the food was excellent and that is what matters. Good choice and very tasty. Can get very busy, although there are seats upstairs and if the weather is good outside, so lunch early to bit the rush.

Serves a great breakfast and coffee. Bonus is the small Breakfast, half the size of full breakfast at half the cost. Lovely sausage, bacon and eggs, and nice size to set you up for the day. Friendly service, and nice outdoor seating when weather is appropiate. Inside can be a bit noisy in the back.

Fabulous. I had a very generous serving of lamb’s liver with chips (fresh and crispy), and apple pie and custard. The prices were very reasonable too. The staff were quick, polite and friendly, all you could want, really. And the tables were really clean, no sticky stuff or wet disinfectant. The only negative is that the salt came out very fast, but that might have been the wrong cellar. They are licensed, if you fancy a tipple with your grub. Great place, and I will absolutely come again.

Step into a world where flavor reigns supreme and every bite feels like a celebration! This enchanting eatery serves up fabulous food that dances on the palate and an atmosphere that wraps around you like a warm, joyful breeze. The desserts? Works of art—almost too beautiful to eat, yet somehow tasting even better than they look (and that’s saying something!). The magic doesn’t end with the food; the prices are delightfully down-to-earth, making indulgence entirely guilt-free. If you find yourself in Porthmadog, do not miss this place—it’s not just a recommendation, it’s a quest worth undertaking for lunch or dinner. A true must-visit for any food lover or seeker of delicious adventure!

We were a family of ten out for Father’s Day and had no problem sitting together, we waited approximately 10 minutes but this didn’t bother us as this place is very busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are two vegetarians in our group and there were a couple of options for them. The majority of us had a roast dinner ( turkey, beef and ham). Every one of us all commented on how delicious the food was. Food was hot and plentiful . We can’t fault this place. The service was excellent and we will be back.

Service was great. Nice welcome. Clean. Food cooked nice. The only thing I didn't like was the bench seating. I'm a large chap. So it's a bit tight between the table and chairs. Still here but felt I might leave a review. Stephen and Jo are absolutely lovely people, warm, genuine and friendly. Massive bed, comfortable sea view room, great location for tourism with loads to see all in easy drive times. Got a great tip for a rainy day too should there be one. Ask Stephen about it 😉. I'd have no hesitation to book here again because of all of the above, and the price for four days just over £200. Can't quibble at that. Very close to some smashing pubs too.

Lovely small hotel our room is ok but, love jacuzzi bath it was special for this room, next to the beach, beautiful views beach front. A bit noisy next door because of the dog. We booked in here for 2 nights. Despite being a bit nervous due to some of the reviews, it was absolutely fabulous! The rooms were clean and to be honest, exactly as you would expect for a B&B! The location was really good with beach views. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Despite not being able to offer food anymore they offered suggestions and plates, cutlery ect to bring food back to the hotel. Would 100% rebook! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Booked this place through a third party website. Booking for BnB at £100. On arrival, a rather unwelcome reception. And we were informed that they couldn't provide a breakfast due to issues since January 2024. So, why are you still advertising as a venue that provides Bed and Breakfast in April 2025? They tried to blame third party website; whist displaying BnB on their outside poster and online in general. No partial refund even offered. Take your money and run I guess.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay in Room 6. The main issue was the bed, extremely uncomfortable and obviously very old. The duvet and bedding were very manky and old. The overall decor was at least 10 to 15 years. The silicon work in the bathroom was horrendous and obviously done by an amateur. The whole room felt grubby. It was certainly not worth £70. No breakfast.
Sian R — Google review
Amazing hosts! After a devastating flood (believed to be caused by a guest) this place has had a complete makeover in the dining room ready for re-opening of the restaurant. We were allowed to use it for our takeaway tea with amazing views over the bay. There is a cafe 50 metres away offering breakfast from 8am if you need it. The rooms were of a great size and whilst needing some modernisation, had everything you need and were very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely bakery, very friendly polite staff, large selection of breads, cakes, pastries, home made jam and honey. Didn't eat in but looked like a very nice eating area upstairs. Reasonably priced, as per any local artisan bakery. If in the area, worth a visit.

The pies, pasties and cakes from this bakery are delicious and make a great lunch for on the beach. The breakfast however has gone massively down hill over the past year. We don't go in for breakfast often, but the food this time round was poor quality and barely cooked, the price was too high for the standard. This, coupled with the awkward and slightly unfriendly service, made it an unpleasant experience.

First of all the girls were enjoying a chat with each others, eventually served, husbands choice not available so had alternative. Sat down had coffee. Husbands hot food appeared only to be told mine was not available. Declined alternative as he would have either eaten his or let his go cold before mine arrived. Had refund on my meal choice. Stopped off here for my Daughter to have a children's packed lunch. We were happy with the speedy service and my little girl loved the activity bag her lunch pack came in. I was more than a little surprised however to hear a customer being advised that there was a 50p charge for a glass of tap water... To top it off the Mom had just been overcharged (£50+ versus £25)... I appreciate everyone makes mistakes but I felt so very sorry for the Mom. As we all know refunds onto cards take a few working days to land in the bank so i do hope this didnt scupper their holiday plans!

Nice building with basic cafe food. We chose to go there for the crab sandwiches after a reading a good review in a guidebook. Unfortunately the sandwiches were underwhelming and the coffee was terrible. Hugely overpriced for what it was.

Cafe
Caffi Ty Winsh Cafe in Caernarfon has garnered rave reviews for its warm and welcoming service, reasonable prices, and delicious food. The cafe's inviting ambiance with vintage seating and a gas log fire creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying their homemade soups, gluten-free cakes, and specialty coffee blends. Visitors appreciate the variety of lunch options offered by the friendly owner Marek and praise the cafe's spacious yet cozy layout with two floors of seating.
We have really enjoyed the special Wales-raised Wagyu beef burgers here on more than one occasion and also really enjoy the special coffee blends that can only be bought at this shop, and which blends are inspired by and roasted here in Wales. The service is so friendly and welcoming and makes one feel at right at home. Just a couple stone’s throws from the castle’s walled town too, so a perfect lunch break stop when touring Caernarfon. I just can’t praise it enough really and am not surprised they’ve won so many awards!

Such a charming little coffee spot! The owner and the staff are very sympathetic and welcoming, and you can feel how much care and love goes into the place. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is absolutely delicious, and the attention to detail makes it extra special. A place you instantly want to come back to! 🌟

We popped in for some breakfast right as they opened Saturday morning and thoroughly enjoyed it, breakfasts were made fresh to order and you could tell they were made with high quality ingredients. Amazing coffees as well. Service was excellent, the staff were so friendly and cheerful. A lovely way to start the weekend. Included pictures of the menu for reference.

Popped in here on the recommendation of the reviews it had on TripAdvisor. And we all agreed it was worth it. The owner was lovely and happy to chat, the lady who made the food, which was delicious was friendly and chatted with us about the cakes she makes. My son had a flapjack which was "really good". The cafe itself is much larger than it looks from the outside and has plenty of seating. The overall feel of the place is friendly, welcoming and we highly recommend it.

☕ A Must-Visit Café in Caernarfon, Snowdonia ⛰️ This award winning café serves fresh Home made cooking. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and a cozy interiors. My husband and son enjoyed a hearty full breakfast while I opted for the mushroom soup with home baked bread, both were delicious. And the coffee? Absolutely not to be missed. If you're in Caernarfon and looking for a satisfying breakfast/brunch, this cafe comes highly recommended.

What a little gem of a place! Generous large portion of delicious homemade mushroom soup with a hot freshly made bread roll. The homemade cakes and scones looked delicious. Very helpful friendly couple serving. Immaculately clean single disabled toilet. Locals popping in for takeout hot drinks all the time. So good to find a proper café still thriving. Will definitely be back tomorrow.

Brilliant little cafe...as much tea as we could drink and three of us had the Celtica burgers with chips and salad. All delicious and a hearty portion. The ladies who worked there were friendly and chatty and looked after us really well. A nice relaxing lunch by the riverside followed by a walk round beach, church and secret nuclear bunker. We returned for another cup of tea and cake and it was just as nice the second time.

As I walked in the cafe was just opening. Greeted with a smile , had a lovely chat and was made 2 lovely lattes . A nice cup of coffee indeed and a lovely beach just outside and through the car park. If you like a decent cup of real bean to cup coffee I highly recommend this place.

We popped in for a cuppa but couldn't resist trying the coffee cake and a cream scone. Both were lovely. The 2 ladies serving ( apologies but never caught your names) were really friendly and told us all about the wildlife in the stream outside where we sat. Brilliant relaxing time; tasty fresh baking and customer service second to none.

What a lovely place. Staff were welcoming and eager to please. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. We had the minted lamb burger and chips. Very tasty. Would highly recommend. We tried the place opposite but inside was gloomy and menu was all about cheese. This had a much better selection and the whole thing was a very pleasant experience.

Nestled on the first floor, Caffi Siop Fawr is a delightful café that offers an enticing array of dishes, from fresh salads and seafood to indulgent Afternoon Tea featuring homemade cakes and Portmeirion gelato. This vibrant spot is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with a menu that caters to various tastes including vegetarian options. The atmosphere buzzes with energy as attentive staff ensure every guest feels welcome—offering child seats for families and accommodating those with mobility needs.
Sublime, delicious flavours, attractive looking plates an excellent example of how to serve your food. Absolutely delightful smiley service. Coffee a bit of a let down as it’s (Lavazza over roasted ) and bitter ,in my opinion. Use a little known way of removing some bitterness is by adding a pinch of salt. Shame they don’t use our local Poblado coffee roaster!

Good menu you are bound to find something you will like. We had pasta of the day and the fish and chips. . Pasta was tasty and the fish was a decent sized piece of haddock with lovely crunchy batter. Table service was excellent. Recommended

We really enjoyed our food, attentive service and the lovely calm atmosphere. The disabled toilet is immaculately clean, and well equipped for an easy visit. We really appreciated the accessibility, even the space around the table enabled easy movement with a wheelchair. Fantastic.

The whole place is a joy to visit. All the staff are helpful without being intrusive, allowing you to browse the extensive kitchenalia and homewares. The Ty bwyta serves delicious food with table service, on the first floor, a light and airy space. The store is well worth a visit if only to view and climb the amazing spiral staircase which is centrally situated.

I had the spicy lamb burger which was gorgeous. Atmosphere was vibrant and busy. Staff very attentive offering us child seats straight away for our twin toddlers. We just about squeezed a double pram in the lift so it's more than capable of fitting a wheelchair in. Needs a bit more signage on the streets. Maybe an A-Sign or 2 as we had no idea it existed, it was only thanks to google maps we found it!

So. A difficult place to review, as so mixed. The staff were very nice and welcoming, no issues at all. The food was nice tasty, well prepared, fresh and O.K. the main issue was portion size and price point. I understand things are going up, but cheese on toast with mushrooms £8+ for one slice of bread! "Welsh Rarebit!" Rare in portion size for the money. 5 stopped for lunch £58 later we all left hungry. Also it was really cold inside. I'd like to offer more but struggling given what was ordered, we all felt the same

Toast is a quaint cafe that has replaced the previous Dollys cafe. They offer a breakfast menu, although it lacks a traditional full English option, they do have a decent variety of toast selections. Their lunch menu includes items like sandwiches, soup of the day, and quiche. Additionally, Toast is known for its delightful coffee and cake offerings. This lovely establishment provides ample options for lunch with an appealing selection of seats indoors and covered seating outdoors.
Came here last year while on holiday in Tywyn! Had to go as Kate who owns the place used to work where I did so wanted to see what her new adventure was while I was there as I'd heard so much nice stuff about her! Did end up talking to her and she was absolutely lovely and so kind!! The sandwiches and cakes were scrumptious! I'd definitely recommend it if your there or even just passing through! It was some of if not the best food I've ever had in a café! The coffees and mocha were amazing too! I had two mocha which is unusual for me when out! It was that nice though! It was so busy every day from what we saw looking up and down the high street and we could see why when we popped in when there was some free tables for lunch! I will hopefully come back soon! Just look at the pictures to see how delicious it all looks!

Good quality food. Ordered a bacon and cheese crossaint that was very nice and filling, a tunamelt panini as well as a nice flatwhite coffee that was strong in flavour and a teacake that came with butter-all very delicious for what it was. I'd recommend a visit and any of the items we'd ordered. They closed the kitchen on savoury items at around half three so keep in mind when going

Excellent customer care for the lovely gentleman who attended to us. Was our first time we had gone fishing and was no sure how it will go. We hired 4 rods and paid for 6 trout fish. Since there was no refund, the pressure was on us catch the 6. However armed with our bait and fishing rods we went right in. All of us managed to catch a fish, but daddy always goes the extra mile. In total we managed to catch 5 lovely shiny trout. Not bad for first timers.

Poor and disappointing, lasagne was so overheated it had melted on the plate and the edges were so hard it was inedible. The chicken curry was very disappointing also as the sauce was straight from a jar I suspect and the chicken was hard and chewy. Absolutely fantastic! Was looking for a cheapy Café as Dolly's down the road was closed but found this place. What wonderful cheerful, polite staff and food was wonderful! The price was above the cheap places I normally go to but the quality makes it worth every penny. Breakfast comes with a tea of coffee and you can swap out an item of breakfast. All cooked perfectly and nicely presented. Will certainly return when in the area again. My only gripe would be that the butter was from the fridge and hard to spread but that's more a problem with my ability lol... Definitely will return. The staff really made us feel welcome too. Very clean and cosy too. Wonderful. Thank you!
