The 42 best breakfast and brunch in Stoke-on-Trent

Came with a family group yesterday for the Sunday carvery. The food was very fresh, my turkey was good and we were all impressed with the quality. There's a really pleasant atmosphere here, I've been a few times and can't fault the place.

This place exceeded our expectations. It’s not often that you find a clean pub that is well stocked with friendly staff, great food and good service all rolled up into one! Food was mega and with unlimited soft drinks machine once glass is purchased. Also good Disabled access with a toilet right by the entrance. (Ask for key at bar) Other toilets are 2 flight upstairs. Food 10 Service 10 Cleanliness 10 Free Parking available Ice cream sundae to have was the Cadburys caramel nibbles. Spot on 😁✅

We stopped here on our way to the Liverpool Champions Parade and, although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast, we decided to drop in before checking out of the hotel. We arrived at 8:13 am and, despite it being extremely busy, we were warmly welcomed by Emily. She was bubbly, friendly, and completely unphased by the hustle and bustle. While there were no tables available in the main restaurant, Emily quickly seated us in the pub area, which was perfectly fine. She took the time to explain how everything worked, including some handy tips on using the pancake machine safely – clearly needed, as someone else had already made a valiant attempt to set the toaster alight! Throughout our visit, Emily and her colleagues – Tegan, Lila, and Chelsea – worked tirelessly to maintain a high level of service. They kept everything well-stocked and managed table turnover with great efficiency. A special mention for Emily, who clearly demonstrated leadership – giving courteous guidance to her team while also rolling up her sleeves and working alongside them. It’s refreshing to see a supervisor lead by example rather than simply delegate. We’d definitely return to this Premier Inn and restaurant – a great experience all round.

We come here very often, and it’s never been a disappoint always a pleasure to be here, and the food is always dot on. Always been worth the money we spend here. The wait is really depending on how busy they are, but it’s never been over 20 minutes

Not very good, it would of been cheaper to go over the road to McDonalds and quality would of been better. We had steak that was asked to be cooked medium and it was more well done and tough with a nasty chargrill taste from a grill that hasn't been cleaned properly. Kids had burgers that they didn't enjoy. Staff and what I could guess was manageress were scruffy looking and with it being 2pm it was dead in there. I wonder why on a Saturday.

Can't fault this place for pub grub, had a 40% off food aswell so was well worth going, il be going again

Especially the downstairs has a calm, spacious, and comfortable atmosphere. I last went there with my friend, and we sat and chatted for 4 hours over coffee. Their coffee is also nice, and the staff are pleasant as well.

We went in for a coffee at around 4pm, got to the door and they said the kitchen was closed (doesnt close until 5:30), however said it was fine as we only wanted a drink. Got the drinks and they were given to us in takeaway cups. Paid over £5 for a Cherry Chocolate Milkshake. It was gross... i tried it once i got outside, it just tasted wrong, the milkshake bit was icey watery gone off tasting milk and then the cream on top was thick, shiny, sticky and slimy (see photo), the cream had clearly gone off, i tasted it and it had gone off, threw the whole drink away. The staff didnt look the happiest, so i didnt bother going back in, however I won't be going there again, will stick the the usual one inside the potteries.

Amazing welcoming atmosphere from the staff who were more than willing to advise on what to choose. Service was very efficient from Sam and the team. Rocky road was delicious !! table was perfectly clean and tidy- will be returning :)

Called in for lunch today Had a cheese and tomato toastie. Food was presented great with a side salad. Really enjoyed it. Great quality food I’ll be visiting again Sammy and Elia were very enthusiastic in there job great with the customers

We called in for drinks today for the 1st time. Ordered 4 massively overpriced milkshakes. At almost £5 each i was expecting something a bit special, maybe like a thickshake. No just a run of the mill glass of milk with flavour. I honestly wouldn't have ordered if id known. I understand food etc is expensive and wages need to be paid, but come on £5 for a glass of milk.

Decor is very homely, creates a great feel on a chilly Sunday afternoon. Staff were very friendly and polite, and even happy to make a item that wasn't on the menu (egg and cheese oatcakes). Food came out after about 10 mins but was well made and hot showing it was freshly made to order. The toasties are chunky with plenty of filling, would definitely recommend for fellow cheese lovers Drinks were good and a good size, and made much faster than at other coffee shops.

Went here for a midweek family dinner the staff were really helpful and polite,environment was really nice too but the food was a big let down the curry was lukewarm and the flat bread served on the side was inedible as it was hard as a rock. Kids carvery looked nice until my 3 year old pulled the bone out of her turkey so out of the tiny portion she had 70% was bone. But we still had dessert to look forward to…no all the cakes were off the menu again pretty disappointing if you’ve seen the cakes advertised for farmhouse inns online.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by a friendly lady called grace and told them of our babies dairy allergy and she was so accommodating and got us freshly prepared veg for my wife and our baby which was a huge portion also and we were very grateful. The food was lovely and we were well looked after. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back. The only thing I could complain about was the food I had wasn’t the best bar the battered sausage so maybe I will try something different next time but hasn’t stopped me coming back. The service was impeccable

We came for a carvery tonight because id fancied a beef dinner all day. I didnt have time to nip to the supermarket and thank God I didnt. Standard carvery was £8.99 and kids eat free (I never get anything free usually) so my son had a childrens carvery and ive cream for free. The food was really nice, 3 meats to choose from, beef, turkey and gammon and plenty of veggies and the gravy was so tasty. But the one thing that stood out for me the most was the service from Leonie, she was very pleasant, smiley person, very welcoming she advised me the kids food was free and said what good value the food was. She also came over to our table to check if everything was ok and asked if my son wanted his ice cream now or later. I highly recommend the Brindley farm for a mid week dinner. Yum wanna cme back every week 😋 unfortunately I didnt take any photos because I was starving 😅

Called in for lunch whilst shopping on festival park. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and I had a lovely carvery. The beef was cooked to perfection, and there were so many more vegetables to choose from compared to other local carvery chains. Ashley looked after us at the table really well. Will definitely return.

Food was okay. Cleanliness doesn’t exist. All tables were sticky and dirty. My glass of wine came as seen in this picture. Cutlery and plates were all the same.

On arrival at the restaurant we were greeted by Steve who was happy and smiling. (always a great 1st impression when the members of staff are smiling). Steve showed us to our table and explained the benefits of using the app to order. On using the app we won a free drink and placed our orders with ease. The drinks and food were delivered to the table promptly and the atmosphere was amazing. Overall a great dining experience that has helped us to decide that we are going to be visiting this establishment on a monthly basis. Well done Steve, keep smiling and keep up the good work x

Lovely place and carvery was yummy! Had the amazing deal of unlimited carvery and a soft drink for £9.99 and went up twice just because ha! Staff were friendly from the minute we entered the building. Get yourself there! Best carverys ever from these chain of pubs, I also go to Grove farm in Leicester when I'm there ❤️

Called in for a birthday breakfast with friends and family. First impression Decor needs a refurb as it’s looking tired. However we ordered our breakfast at the bar and were all very happy with the food we received. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be returning to sample the main menu as it looked very good value for money and have had friends recommend we try.

We stayed after our journey to alton towers. Lovely friendly reception staff. Room is spacious with a sofa and an armchair. Staff left balloons and a birthday message as I mentioned on the booking it was a birthday trip- lovely touch. Definitely would reccomend.

The rooms are desperate for a update....The location great. It does get busy and noisy so if you are looking for peace no good, but visitors and staff are lovely....The bar staff and kitchen/waiting on staff are brilliant also let's not forget the very hard working housekeeping staff....so kind and courteous... The state of the hotel and bar come eating area let's them down....no lift but stairs OK, my husband who is disabled could manage all be it slowly....Absolutely smashing beds had really good night's sleep and the shower is one of the best but again old....but great .

We have dined here several times and the food has always been good. Speed of delivery to table has also been pretty good. Can't help noticing the friendliness of staff who put in the extra mile. Service with a smile, as they say.....will certainly go back for more! Big shout for Holy as well.

Visited on the 17/8/25 (Sunday) 17:30 came in with my wife and kids after a long day out, we waited to been seen by the door for 5 mins, but can clearly see there was a huge group of people in the restaurant so wasn’t a issue, food and service was outstanding waiting 25 minutes was worth it. but again it looked busy. will be coming back! I was served by Leah and Ashley was my chef.

Love the friendly staff and ambience of this pub. The food is cooked perfectly, the wine is superb and love that hungry horse take blue light card or Tesco clubcard vouchers. The rump steak is always cooked to preference and the price is fantastic.

What a lovely evening, delicious food & served by a lovely young girl called Gracie! She was very polite & had great knowledge of the menu! Thanks again we will definitely return!

Called in with my friends on the way back to Manchester. It was a Sunday so was mainly catering Carvery. I don't like carvery so asked what else was available. The main menu wasnt being used so I looked at the childrens menu. They also wasn't serving chips because it was a Sunday so I ordered Chicken burger and beans x two. All of the food was cold. My burger bun had no butter and wasn't offered any and then realised they had put chicken nuggets on it !! Why would I want a chicken nugget muffin. It was awful but Gypsy my friends dog liked it so I didn't get wasted. My friends had the carvery. Mash potatoes was very lumpy. The potatoes hadn't been cooked, very hard lumps and the Parsnips was that hard you could have wedged the door open with them. The Carvery was also cold. No complaints about the Yorkshire puddings or the meat tho. The best part of mine was the Pepper. That's why I gave a 1 and not a zero . Was so disappointed 😞

Great Buffet bfast. £6. 49 lovely and fresh n plenty of it . Tea Coffee is extra which hikes the price up a lot.. stick to water next time.

Lunch yesterday for 3 people 2 meat carveries and 1 veggie Food was excellent. Wide selection of vegetables all perfectly cooked. Fabulous cauliflower cheese! Service good Very reasonably priced We all enjoyed and will definitely come again

Had a click and collect Sunday roast today . Was ready on time, and hot, but content was very disappointing. Very little meat and mainly mashed potato and stuffing. Some cauliflower cheese, carrots and peas. Only half a tub of gravy, not enough for the whole meal. Not worth £14.99, I'm afraid.

My partner and I have had a lovely meal here the staff are friendly and really helpful. Kerry was a shining star nothing was too much for her. The food is to a good standard and the restaurant is well presented

Excellent beef and the other meats looked good too. However, the veg felt like it had been 'hanging around' and whilst veg did the job was no great shakes. They haven't got the hang of Yorkshire puddings here with them being biscuit like and dry. Christmas pudding and custard was near cold and nothing special . However, ice cream in my group was appreciated and good. Friendly service by all staff. Very busy , though Christmas season, and I think booking( which we did) would have been essential. Being busy a good sign but it did feel a bit manic. That said, a little quiet at carvery outlet. Plenty of parking. Toilets clean. On return in June much the same comments . Today everything painfully slow though and took over twenty minutes to be seated and as a coach load in , well over 25 minutes to queue at the carvery . It did mean I didn't have time for a pudding so I guess for the waist that was good. The handsome chefs were friendly and dissipated people's irritation at the long queue and their gentle flirting with the old ladies brought them a little smile.

I visited with my husband on a Saturday, and we had a lovely time. The entrance is free, and the whole place has such a peaceful and charming atmosphere. We really enjoyed having tea, coffee, cookies, and cake at the riverside café – it was so relaxing. The museum is informative and well-preserved, and the little shops with handmade pottery were a joy to explore. I’m also looking forward to the river trips starting in June! A perfect spot for a cultural yet relaxing day out. Highly recommended!

On our great pottery tour of Stoke on Trent we started with Middleport Pottery and jumped on the factory tour. Our guide Stuart was wonderful. So knowledgeable and generous with his time to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour and visiting this important historic place. If you love pottery it’s a must see, if you don’t know that you love pottery it still is a must see!

A lovely surprise. We were passing on our canal boat and thought we would drop in for a coffee. A fabulous place, well worth paying the entrance fee for the heritage tour and also lots of free things to see and do as well as arts and craft shops and good cafe. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff and volunteers and a great place to buy original pottery and crafts.

Fascinating. The buildings date back to 1888 and have been preserved and opened up for visitors with just one of the original seven bottle ovens surviving. A great deal of work has gone in to making the displays interesting. There's also a cafe and visitor shop for the Burleigh pottery that is still produced on the site. Highly recommended to visit.

This was a fantastic venue to photograph a wedding at. A stunning historical wedding venue with a lot of rustic charm. Offering a unique backdrop to anyone planning a wedding a little different to the norm. The staff were helpful, cheerful and very organised on the day. There are lots of places for unique photo opportunities for couples, including inside a bottle kiln! Plenty of areas for guests to wander around and look through. The bar and main function room are separate and allow for people to have a more relaxed drink if needed. A fantastic venue all around and I hope to be back again soon!

Great virtual tour for less able visitors, excellent guide who was a mine of information about this early example of factories and continuous processes. Good catering and well worth a visit

We weren't going to visit, as the guided tours weren't bookable online when we were in town, but it's still worth coming to Middleport for the bits you can see of the heritage trail, the Burleigh factory shop next door, the historic buildings and maybe a coffee at the cafe on the canal too. Characterful spot.

Have been regular customers for a number of years. However we were disappointed on this visit. Earl Grey tea was very poor like builders tea. Change of recipe for cheese and tomato toasty. Thin sliver of cheese and a dollop of tomato paste instead of real tomato. Please go back to the old recipe. Staff are always 5* and very warm and welcoming

Absolutely gorgeous food, staff were lovely. An overall great cafe with very reasonable prices.

After a nice walk around Trentham we decided to stop in before heading home for a sundae (around 515 and appears to be open till 7) my husband, mother in law, small baby and myself. Immediately the guy behind the till told us to sit in the hot window side even though the place was completely empty (it's too hot to sit in the window with a small baby we came in to escape the sun). Whilst in the queue the same guy said, no food, when we said we wanted the ice cream he begrudgingly said ok yea. We went to get a seat whilst my husband ordered. He was told that the cookie dough sundae was going to be watery cause of the hot cookie dough and they have watery ice cream (even though it's top on their menu) they clearly wanted to be done for the day and everything just seemed like and issue so we left and won't be back. Wouldn't recommend and will tell friends and family to avoid.

Nice cafe near Trentham gardens with a large menu. Its a bit pricey but considering the location its not too bad. My pot of tea managed three mugs! Not too many wasps outside which is a nice relief.

When we go to Trentham Gardens, the first place we go to, Cadwaladers for a takeaway coffee or ice cream. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and go out of the way to insure are experience is very good in this trying times, good on them, and when we are back to the new normal Cadwaladers is the place for my family. Just popped in today Sunday for a coffee and bacon sandwich 🥪🥪 for Teddy bear 🧸 and Maple 🍁, and they loved it. Good to go for a long walk. After the walk we popped in for a coffee ☕☕☕☕to warm up. Good service friendly staff and clean warm restaurant.

Best ice cream I've had in a long time. Very flavoursome and a wide selection. Vegan options available along with sorbets. Friendly staff.

I’m a regular at Trentham Gardens, and this café has quickly become my new go to. The service is always quick, the staff are friendly, and the coffee is spot on. It’s got a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a lovely little spot.

These are my absolute favourite oatcakes. My husband always orders, but they are always really tasty, and I love the crispy bits around the edge, not burnt. These oatcakes are made to taste good, not for maximum profit. Love that they sell cakes and drinks too. They are value for money and a real treat!

Nice people who owe the oatcake shop, oatcakes are nice and prices are good for the quality you get.

Hands down the worst oatcakes I've ever tasted, would not recommend to anyone. I absolutely would never eat from here again.

Great food the only issue was I wanted 4 dozen oatcakes and was told I could only have 2 in this day and age you would think they would put it on there Web page or put a sign up I don't live In stoke any more and oatcakes are my favourite thing that I can't get where I live

First time visit. Staff polite and helpful. My breakfast was very nice. No complaints from our group. We reserved the table, which was just as well, as the place got busy quickly. Would visit again!

Ordered a sausage bap which seemed expensive at £3.40 When it came it was huge with 4 sausages in it. Very nice. And a hot chocolate to go with it. It said to order at the counter but received table service. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

We drove past this place million times and never noticed it untill today. We were really surprised how lovely the place look (despite rundown neighbourhood). The building looks lovely both inside and outside. Jacket potato and the sandwich was really tasty

Me and my daughter had afternoon tea here a couple of weeks ago,it was our first visit here and it was brilliant,excellent value for money,good selection of both cakes and sandwiches(little baps)you usually get more cake than sandwiches but here it was half and half and good selection of fillings in the sandwiches,would definitely go again,and the staff were lovely too,thank you.

Absolutely amazing Cafe! I could not applaud the owners enough as they have hit the nail on the head with this one! Wonderful quaint cafe with a fantastic atmosphere and decor to match, the food is amazing (fully recommend egg in the hole) and all the cakes! 5* for quality and the service is top notch aswel with friendly team!, this is a hidden gem of a cafe and I would fully recommend popping in if you are passing! (Or even if your not passing by its worth a trip!) Parking is right outside which makes it even more accessible! I will be returning :)

Was lucky to stumble upon this little gem. Very nice little venue, only stopped for a tea and vanilla slice, but it was lovely, have heard the food is great too, but not tried myself. Nice setting, bet its beautiful in the sunshine too. Thank you

Great little pub, didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms but the pub itself is all you want from a local. Good beers, nice staff, pleasant regulars. If I lived in Newcastle this would be my local.

What a lovely stay I had at this place. There was a party going on in the place but it didn't bother me. The room I had was immaculate and spacious. I was greeted nicely. Room 3 at front of building so next time I will try a different room. Book with confidence.

We booked a room at The Victoria for a wedding that we were attending nearby and have to say even though they have good pictures, they do not do justice to the venue. The room itself was clean, spacious and had beautiful decor which made it feel luxurious but also very welcoming and cosy. There were all the facilities you would expect for a room (tea, coffee, shower gel etc) and were given complementary bottled water too. The pub itself was absolutely gorgeous felt like it was very traditional whilst also feeling up to date which is a difficult balance to strike. They had a great range of drinks to choose from and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. They have a great system in house about how you access your room and check out without having to worry about a physical key and make you feel free to come and go as you please. We were only there for a short time but definitely wanted to spend more time in the venue and definitely am considering a return trip to the area just to visit again. Cannot recommend enough

Superb family run feel to the bar, great selection of drinks, lots of themed nights. I stayed here too and the rooms are fantastic, brilliant location too for the Monkey Forest nearby. Would love to come back one day. Keep doing what your doing ❤️

I have visited this cafe multiple times and don’t believe I have ever had a problem, but on this occasion I have to say I was very disappointed with the food I was served, I ordered a chicken salad baguette, on arrival it looked great, but when I opened the sandwich up to put on mayonnaise I found that the chicken was an awful grey/green colour, I absolutely didn’t want to eat this as it didn’t look very healthy at all, I picked off all the chicken and just ate the salad roll, my mum went to pay and made them aware of what I had found, but didn’t get much of a concerned reply….. really don’t know what happened on this visit, because like I said it’s normally great in here…..

Visited for the first time meeting up with friends who often go. Had a lovely breakfast indeed.

Despite the limited English of lead waiter, both staff were exceedingly pleasant which gives a welcoming feel to this cafe. Most polite too and efficient. They deserve to succeed for their effort. Cafe presents as clean and in good order. Appears popular with locals and passing tradesmen. Food freshly cooked by a very competent cook. All clients seemed pleased. For my self I thought 80p for a teaspoon of jam for toast was a bit much really, but otherwise was pleased. The frothy coffee was significantly more pleasant than I was anticipating. I may pop in here again.

Fabulous breakfast, great service. Slightly more expensive, but absolutely worth the money. I've been twice now and had take away and sit in, both breakfasts were superb.

i asked if the food was halal as i am a muslim and take matters like these very seriously and i was told that it was, however when i came a couple days later one of the waitresses that saw me that day told me that the meat was not infact halal and he had lied to me and many others which is unacceptable

I ordered an egg mayo salad bap with a tuna mayo salad sandwich 🥪 and they were stacked with fillings. I could not get my mouth around it. Highly recommend for price and quality fillings.

They used be best oatcakes in stoke but they always taste under cooked now. I travel 3 miles past the shop to six town oatcakes as I prefer. Just been honest

The shop was busy so I had a bit of a wait. Those who had pre ordered for collection took priority which was fine. I had bacon and egg single oatcake. It was the best I’d ever had. The bacon was lean thick cut back bacon with no fat and the egg was perfect. Would definitely return.

On many occasions when planning on visiting the area and want to buy more than 6- Won’t let you order in advance. Often sold out by 10am. Don’t they want to make money? Money laundering?

We travelled up from Wales for Robbies Homecoming so naturally we had to try out Stokies finest "Oatcakes". They did not disappoint. Bacon and cheese filling. A big thank you from us. Next time we're in the area (we will be) We'l be sure to visit your delicious shop again 😊 x x

Popped in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. Staff were warm and welcoming. Had the Mexican Crunch 12" sub, cookie, and latte. Nice! Place was busy with dine in and take outs. Would call in again 😋

The service from the team was exceptional as always. The only thing that let it down was that it was boiling inside the store. I thought with it being a warm day that the AC would have been on and while it was on it was just blowing warm air into the shop. I planned on sitting inside to eat but when I felt how hot it was inside I decided that sitting in my car with my AC on was a better idea. I came outside and it was colder outside than in. In weather like this the AC should really be working properly.

I'll begin by explaining the one star, that's for the person that served me, that's as good as it gets. The door handle was sticky and dirty upon entering, ok perhaps it's been a busy morning. The floor had food debris, tables didn't look like they'd been cleaned properly in a few days, windows filthy. Unfortunately I needed to visit the loo, it was filthy throughout, wooden doors that can't be cleaned, the whole area hadn't seen a two minute clean let alone a deep clean in months, absolutely appalling standard. I won't be returning and I binned the food, didn't want to risk it, you'd think hygiene was a foreign word! Photos attached.

reserved a table, one of the finest establishments there is, absolute peak dining experience. the wife had a cheddar on rye and a bypass, i had the breaded garlic and cheese solution. i later had a stroke and suffered severe and unending mental damage and later suffered from bronchitis as a direct result of breathing in a stray sesame seed. we would dine here again, life changing

If I wanted a footlong bread stick then I would go to the bakery. Ordered a footlong Tuna Kahuna (just shy of £8) and was told it was a set filling which I agreed to. Little did I know the tuna would end 2" short each end and the filling would be near non existent. I politely asked if I could add some sweetcorn to bulk it up and the girls reply was " I already told you it's set so no". Once baked she slapped a flat tuna sub with 8" of filling and 4" of dry and burnt bread on the counter. NOT A HAPPY BREAKFAST/LUNCH MEAL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A very nice little place that makes you think you're somewhere else other than Hanley! We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime, didn't even know it was there until we walked past. Food was very tasty,not a large menu but definitely something for everyone. I had the smash burger and my wife the club sandwich. A little oasis in the ever increasing desolation that is Hanley.......

Went with 2 of my all grown up now children, we were there as the restaurant opened so not very busy, service was very good and food was excellent, tasty and very filling portions. We had the NY Stack, hideaway stack and breakfast hash, all had a different coffee and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Breakfast visit with partner. Amazing food, generous portions full of great flavour, well prices, coffee is amazing! Staff are friendly and relaxed, we were the only ones in (early doors) and they didn’t hover etc. atmosphere was really calm and enjoyable. Decor is nice but the tables are sticky, perhaps because the place is clean and so they are cleaned more regularly than the finish of the paint can cope with? Who knows but it’s not a problem! Can’t wait to go back and try the french toast!

Wow what a little find, met a friend at Middleport Pottery for breakfast (to be told that kitchen was undergoing maintenance!) so we googled and walked to nearby Middleport munch. I’m coeliac and once I explained about gluten free, they listened and were so helpful (swapped out sausage as it wasn’t gluten free) couldn’t have been more helpful. Thanks ladies! We will visit again

Best breakfast in town, all staff extremely friendly, absolutely spotless inside, been here 3 times in past week and food is 11/10 definitely recommend. Excellent prices.

Wow, we were blown away by how good this place was. We visited on Thursday lunchtime and struggled to get a table. In the end we ate upstairs in the fabulous garden room. The menu is large and varied. The drinks are well made and service is extremely good. My wife had avocado/eggs/tomato. I had deli sandwich. Both meals were superb. We'll be back and will recommend to others.

Lovely atmosphere with pleasant staff. Booking recommended as it's always busy. The food is freshly prepared and the portions are very generous! We ordered the Nachos ( big enough to share ), sliders (3 different mini burgers ) and salted caramel cake and Alabama fudge cake. This is my second visit, the other was an afternoon when we just ordered a snack (hummous and dips - huge!) Very noisy on the Friday night we were there due to several tables of ladies enjoying a drink plus live music in the corner so may try another night next time.

Perfect spot for a Sunday brunch. Choose to sit outside (reservations recommended) or inside/ upstairs. Decorated with love and run by passion, this is a nice personable establishment. A wide variety of drinks ranging from traditional favourites to signature fresh combinations available. Cocktails are a tad too sweet for me personally, but the others were very pleased with their own. I recommend booking a spot in advance, and trying the fries and starters as drinking snacks.

Gorgeous! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a stunning interior. They don't rush you in and out like some places and plenty of vegetarian options, plus plenty of gluten free choices & adjustments. Food came quickly and was nice and hot. I'll definitely be back!

If there was a sixth star this place would get one. Fabulous quirky, slightly shabby chic cafe/bar/restaurant with live music on certain days. The menu looks a little odd but get over that and dive in. Large upstairs room availble for bigger groups. Even the toilets are excellent. Its a must visit if you happen to be in Stoke OT or Hanley if you are know the duel Center city.

Well has to be the worst ever Wetherspoons I’ve visited young kids behind the bar lack experience in customer service, can’t pull pints, to busy talking rather than concentrating on the job in hand , topping your beer up with a glass that’s prob sat on the drip tray 10 mins or more went to order online thought it may be quicker ones wrong, went to the bar it’s sat on the end and no one knows who’s it is,I’ve scored 0 for the fact you have to pay for your drink first and wait until they stop talking to get it and the total lack of interest the staff have Stella flat, Big tim would not appreciate this, !

I never saw so much rubbish and dirty tables or floors. It was one guy who was trying to clean quickly and by his self , Ben is his name and was asking apologise for the mess but they are short staff. Even is are short staff ,they been out few girls and they didn't bother to clean at least the table, was looking to the table, was laughing and chatting but not cleaning. I supposed if they had time for a chat it was enough time just few seconds to clean a little bit.

I visited McDonald's this evening and placed my order through the app, paying in advance. Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was informed via the speaker (quite abruptly) that the cash machine was down. Since we had already paid through the app, we assumed we could still proceed. When we reached the windows, staff members could clearly see us through the glass but chose to ignore us entirely. No one offered any assistance, and it was very unclear what we were supposed to do. After waiting for some time and receiving no communication, I beeped my horn to try to get someone’s attention. Despite seeing multiple staff members inside, they continued to ignore us rather than simply explaining the situation. I then parked and attempted to go inside, only to find the doors locked. Again, staff inside saw me but continued to disregard me. When I managed to wave someone over, the person who finally approached — the manager, no less — was incredibly rude and unprofessional. His attitude was appalling, even using foul language while referring to me before speaking to me directly. All I wanted was a simple explanation about my app order and whether I would be refunded. The dismissive and disrespectful response I received was shocking. As someone who has worked in customer service, I found the behavior of the entire team completely unacceptable and disappointing. This is not the level of service anyone should expect, especially from a well-known brand like McDonald's. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that proper training is provided to ensure other customers are not treated this way in the future.

Typical McDonalds, just off the bypass. Has a drivethru, click and collect etc. Small carpark with electric chargers. I was there about 7.30AM and it was pretty full then. To be fair the food was pretty bad. Whoever thought putting half a bottle of brown sauce on a bacon bap was clever think again. Brown sauce gushed out all over my car and myself.....oh and no tissue. Thank you so much....not!

Called at McDonalds Meir Park to find that one of the Drive Through terminals were not working. I reported this to the kiosk and they said that they were unaware. We went to the next terminal and the person spoke so quickly and abruptly that we could not understand her. We had to keep asking her to repeat. It seems that it’s a very young staff and they need to be trained in customer service. If it’s a drive through they will not know who they are tailing to, it could be someone disabled or hard of hearing and talking so quickly and abruptly does not help.

ex McDonald's employee on the night shift, at 4am surely all food is cooked to order and I received freezing cold fries and nuggets. Only redemption is the hot chocolate which I have been craving all day which was lush.

Stopped by there on the other day for grab a lunch with my mate. Even not fan of fast food but thought would be good for a quick bite. Placed our order via their electronic menu board which I can say it is very handy and helpful thing for the place. Gone with MC plant meal, can say that it was okay not something mouthwatering thing. Wasn't crowded time as McDonald's got busy most of the time. I was taking some pics for my review, one of staff members shouted at me for taking pics, I told her as local guide need few pics for my review regarding this place. She understands that.

Having been through the drive through to order a couple of happy meals, I then pulled over to find we had been given the wrong happy meal. I then drove around the drive through again to be questioned where my receipt was (even though I hadn’t been given one). They wanted the full meal back ‘because they couldn’t give away free food!’ No sorry for the inconvenience or anything. Just a rubbish, cold meal.

This Mcdonalds is in a convenient location at Meir park/Blyth bridge exit off the A50 Stoke on Trent. Although the car park was full when we arrived and only managed to park when another customer left they didn't seem overly busy inside and we were able to get a table for a family of 5 straight away. Food did not take to long to arrive after we ordered it and it was served hot. Place appeared to be clean and staff were friendly which makes a huge difference to some I've visited in the past 👍

Arrived and parked fine, this is sometimes difficult due to small car park and uber drivers parking ridiculously. There was noone on lobby and lots of tables needed cleaning. No toilet roll in 2/3 of the womens toilets. 2 nugget happy meals and a wrap meal took over 15 minutes, it was not overly busy in store . Even staff waiting for their breaks seemed to be waiting a while . Although this time the food was warm, many a time it's cold. It's very hit and miss. It's a very rare occasions we will come. I have attached a photo of the tables that became empty 10.minutws after got here we were here for half and hour.

This is one of those “if there were zero stars” reviews. Every time you go to this “restaurant”, if you use the drive thru and there is more than one car, you will be parked up for 10-20 minutes. Then, when you actually get your food, it’ll either be like warm, missing items or both. They do not care and customer service is nonexistent. I have made multiple complaints but of course nothing changes. I don’t expect a gourmet meal with waiter service but they can’t even get the basics right. From now on I will never let a McDonald’s fry pass my lips. Useless.

It's okay but bot very well maintained. There seems to be damage to some of the tables. The service is absolutely terrible. They've got my husband's order wrong twice and he's had to take it back so they can fix kit. They've never offered any compensation, just said sorry and fixed it. If it happens again we may boycott them completely. The staff are pleasant enough but incompetent. I wouldn't suggest ordering online as they could get your order wrong and the last time we were there, the delivery driver took a disabled parking space of which there are only two0 when there were many other spaces available.

Is it normal to wait an hour for an order at a fast food place? They confuse orders, while I was waiting an hour for my order, 4 people came in with problems, someone didn't get a Burger, someone else got something else. The staff is as rude as possible. Ordered food on the mcdelivery app, I ordered the limited addition chicken big mac meal and the burger was missing from the delivery, rest of the food arrived cold, drinks leaking everywhere as the lids hadn't been put on correctly. Tried to contact McDonalds but no answer, contacted the delivery service to be told I would only receive a £2.80 refund....so an expensive meal, I spent over £30 on that order....shocking

Went, for the first and last time, on a very busy Saturday, no seating available. Poor staff member was on own trying to clean all the tables etc.. a very long wait for the food and cream had melted on my latte by the time I received it lol. Disabled toilet out of use and the car park was very small.

Prices hiked. Service strange. Just eat delivery prioritised. Went at 11pm. I was the only customer in the drive thru lane. No customers inside. Had to wait an inordinate amount of time for one double cheeseburger and 9 nuggets. Told the wait was due to nuggets being cooked fresh to order. As someone did that. They kept the burger becoming inedible. Maybe a one off due to staff turnover. But Mcdonalds in the area are generally shockingly shoddy.

The most dirty / untidy McDonald’s I’ve been in. Walked in and was met by two bags of rubbish on the floor next to the bin. Ordered food and looked for a table to sit at, but every table that was available had rubbish left behind on it and needed cleaning. Finally got a table when some people who were dining had finished and left. Sat down, looked around and saw more rubbish on the floor. I did tell a staff member the tables needed cleaning and he said he’d speak to somebody, but when I left half an hour later, nothing had been tidied. Dread to think what the kitchen must be like. Not lovin’ it, won’t be returning. Fries were also cold.

Food was slow, food was wrong multiple times…in an almost empty restaurant. And then to top it off tables were dirty and two members of staff were high fiving each other while fixing another of their mistakes.

Absolutely dreadful experience. After spending five hours in A&E after dislocating his knee, my son convinced me to call in for food at 5am. Firstly, the lad in the Drive-thru clearly didn’t want to be there. His voice a drawl & he sounded half asleep. His manners weren’t much better. Then there was a twenty minute wait (which I don’t mind bearing in mind the time & the food was being freshly prepared, I’d hope) When we finally got home the quarter pounder without cheese I’d ordered appeared to be a plain quarter cheeseburger. He couldn’t even get that right. What an utter shambles. I won’t be going back. What annoys me the most is that McDonald’s prides itself on the quality & service it provides at ANY time of day or night. Not in this case. Very, very poor indeed 😡

I go there with a group on Mondays. Staff are very polite. Property is spotless. They have a 5 star rating in hygiene.

Me and my girlfriend go in here all the time, the food is gorgeous and made freshly. The cheescakes are incredible and the owners Claire and Wayne are such lovely people. Would recommend 10/10

Friday morning at 07:45 stale toast, stale cake and bitter coffee. On another occasion at the Drive through - Disappointed to get my latte with very little milk and therefore very hot. So hot in fact that it blistered the roof of my mouth. Are you trying to save money ? What is the logic behind serving a drink that hot ?!!

I went into the store and ordered a peach ice tea to take away a few days ago. The drink didn’t taste of peach whatsoever, it was just ice tea. The employee working alone was generally very friendly, but as I left the store I saw another employee casually smoking by the drive through speaker. This doesn’t reflect well on the brand, and seems unprofessional since only one poor server was working on both drive through and in store orders. I would avoid this branch!

I have visited today and I usually get a coffee twice a week from here on my way to work. The lady who served me today was super professional, a lovely manner and nothing seemed too much trouble. I even had to check a couple of gift cards to see if I had any credit left and this was no bother. I did not get her name or I would have mentioned her here but I visited at 8.01am and I would employ his person in my business if she applied for a job I had.

Costa Coffee inside the Potteries Shopping Centre in Hanley is my absolute go-to every week, and I just love it there! Yes, it's always busy and can be a bit noisy, but that's part of its lively charm. Despite the prices being on the higher side, the food and coffee are consistently delicious, making it completely worth it for me. It's truly my favourite spot for a great coffee fix!

Costa Coffee Hanley, situated just inside the Intu Potteries Shopping Centre, this cafe offers a range of Coffees, Cakes, Sandwiches and soft drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpfully, chatting with customers. The coffee is good and the food is OK. I think it can get rather busy in there and we were lucky to get our table and it wasn't too busy! Two off putting points, one being staff sat with customers doing administrative processes on a laptop and the second, one drink not being charged for. Obviously no one can complain about free things but I am sure the company wouldn't be too pleased.

Oh my goodness me this place needs more staff, took an absolute age to get served! Good idea to have one in the next store as we ended up having a look round the store on the way out. The coffee was a let down too! All 3 of us agreed it tasted like normal latte and not chocolate orange (or whatever it was supposed to be), wether the girl forgot to add it I don't know. Didn't ask, as ppl were queuing out the door by this point. I even asked if they were training and the girl said "Um...no" and the lady very loudly said behind me "no, they are just REALLY slow"! Bit surprised , have been a regular customer of Foley for years, and have always sung their praises as my favourite, and the oatcakes are brilliant, however I called in for some oatcakes as usual, to be told there are none for sale, despite there being a rack full of them and some already bagged up, I don’t get it… there were oatcakes there, I wanted to buy them, was told I couldn’t ! Felt like I was in a comedy sketch 🤷‍♂️so i went to King Street oatcakes and got some, they were really nice!

I’ve been a long-time fan of these, but unfortunately, the quality seems to have declined recently. The taste and smell aren’t what they used to be, and the last few packs I’ve purchased have been noticeably sticky, almost as if they weren’t cooked properly. Disappointing, given how much I used to enjoy them.

I came in for breakfast where i was met by a lovely young man (I think he said his name was adam ) who took my order and made my food whilst having a conversation with me about my day ,this really created a lovely atmosphere however there was another man who i think was some sort of manager who ruined the atmosphere by giving a rude attitude when I asked him about if they had any pikelets , he just seemed like he had better things to be doing than answering my question but overall a good experience and nice food .

Throughout the week there sausage and cheese sandwich’s are the best, I’ve gone on a saturday and I’ve received burnt cheese, 1 sausage split into 2 halves and spread on my sandwhich and to top it off I get in to have to cut my own sandwhich, I’m avoiding this place on weekends

Came in this morning to buy some oatcakes with my little one. The oatcakes tasted great! I forgot to order and oatcake for my little one so they gave her one for free which is absolutely incredible. I will definitely be coming here again so thank you very much to the staff!

Ordered 2 large breakfasts, was asked if I wanted tomatoes or mushrooms but wasn't told this is extra. The food was very disappointing. Bacon was very fatty, hash browns were greasy, yolk of fried eggs was hard. The tea was tasteless. The cutlery won't even spear the sausage! The prices aren't cheap £25 for 2 people, I'm sure Tesco can do better than this.

Rued staff iv drank and eat in this cafe over 30 years and today i went in to get my normal breakfast toast beans told by a young girl serving I couldn’t have it as there policy now states you order 2 toast and not one when you are a pensioner we can’t eat loads so I was told no you can’t have it anymore and she wasn’t being told different as it the new policy where are so sorry can’t give that to you but can I get you something else these girls today no manners no management available people in the Que behind me were shocked at this terrible conversation 7/10/2025

Avoid waiting over an hour food was cold and tasted cheap other people next to us had 1 meal and the other person was waiting ages for there's and they was on the same table and very overpriced for the portion I got drinks are expensive also not worth the money avoid

Basic cooked breakfast(hash brown, beans, fried egg and beans with toast)charged extra for tomato, mushroom, and when it came, it was not that hot ,and with air-conditioning blowing cool, it didn't help, so had to be eaten quick.

3.30 on a Saturday. Every single table filthy. Why eat here when there is a squeaky clean McDonald and Costa Coffee a few yards away? Freezing Air Conditioning blows the nearly hot food to cold in just minutes. Ladies behind counter very nice. Food? Go to McDonalds.

I don’t usually have high expectations of this particular McDonald’s, but after being away for a while, I decided to give it another go in the hope things had improved. Big mistake. After ordering through the drive-thru, we waited 20 minutes before someone came out to ask what our order was – they’d clearly forgotten it entirely. Another 15 minutes passed before we finally received the food, only to find that two burgers were missing and the fries were stone cold. When we got home, we discovered the Big Macs were missing the top burger patty (see photo). The level of incompetence is staggering – how does this even happen? Sadly, this isn’t a one-off. My experience at this branch has never been great, but this time was beyond frustrating. Avoid at all costs – it’s just not worth the time, money, or disappointment.

I ordered an iced frappe and was disappointed to find that only about 3/4 of the cup was filled with coffee, with the remaining space left supposedly for whipped cream. To verify, I compared it with another iced frappe with cream prepared by an employee, where the cup was filled to the brim with coffee before adding the whipped cream. When I first raised this concern, I was told that the empty space was intended for the whipped cream. However, as I was leaving, I overheard staff making unpleasant remarks about me. I decided to return and address the situation directly. At that time, I requested a second coffee to compare and demonstrate that my concern was valid. I found the staff’s behavior and response to be unprofessional and disappointing. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve both product consistency and customer service.

Getting basics wrong like missing onions and very little sauce on my standard hamburger Toilets not accessible as closed for cleaning? ( No evidence cleaning was taking place). Annoying alarm noise distrupting our meal throughout the visit. Long waits at the service counter and no order update from screens. All around very poor. No response to my online complaint adds to my disappoint with what is usual my favourite fast food restaurant

Latest visit to the drive thru. Long wait for the food, rain runs off the canopy straight through your car window when paying and collecting your order. Food was barely warm, fries were like cardboard, tasteless, no milk shakes as usual. £29 wasted.

Breakfast at 9.40. Queued through drive through. Waited other end with 5 other vehicles. Orders incorrect on vehicles in front. We accepted ours continued on to work late to find maple syrup pancakes without maple syrup and only one fruit juice not 2. As already late to work we did not return. The young girl fetching food out was polite but clearly out of her depth with the issues.

I ORDERED an orange juice a coke zero and my meal my partner recieved his full meal that he ordered but i didn't receive that it is very unfortanute that this has happened as i am a very common customer but they have let me down yet again

The food was lovely 😍 and delicious, the place was quite and staffs were really nice. Sure a great place for breakfast. They only accept cash but there is cash machine close by so it's no problem 😊. Will definitely be coming back.

I popped in for a take away jacket potato, the potato was very very nice fluffy and just right , my only sadness was I had a chicken sweetcorn and mayo filling, I was expecting chicken breast but it was cheap waifer thin cheap chicken from a pack, for 6 20 I would have expected chicken breast. Staff were nice , can't comment on the atmoshere as I was on the only one in but I found it strange they had cross ryrhms blasting from the radio , kind of weird blasting out Christian rock, I think a BBC stoke or national channel would be better .

Had breakfast there and it was lovely just ashame no one else goes in the guy who is behind the till was very professional

A good lunch to be had here, a nice and clean environment. Friendly staff, and pleasant background music playing. As to the meal, I had a sausage & cheese oatcake, followed by a bacon & cheese oatcake; washed down with a mug of tea. The oatcake (not to be confused with a flapjack), was nicely cooked; as it was still soft. Both the bacon and sausage fillings were generous; a quick note regarding the cheese, it was very tasty, but chewy. The tea came with the bag still in, and the waitress didn't mind that I asked for some more milk.

Ordered on uber an hour ago, I have ordered two set breakfasts an oatcake and two cans of coke I’ve still not received my order and tried too call multiple times with no answer £26 order and that’s the service you get won’t even let me cancel the order keeps coming up with error

Tables full of dirty plates and the ones that weren’t hadn’t been wiped down. Cold drinks were warm. Waited ages for the food for it to be absolutely freezing to the point the coke was warmer than the food. Service wasn’t great. Word of advice a smile and apology can go a long way. Asked for a full refund. Still charged us for the drinks which to me it comical. Wouldn’t bother.

The drink it’s more expensive than Waitrose cafe , which is ok tho . Closes at 5 clock yet its tea time , I wanted a bite too eat but said they closed now , at 5 clock on the dot so they rather me collapse so sat here still drinking my drink even tho it’s closed .

Dirty plates, cutlery and glasses. Instantly put off by this. The lady who served us provided a glass with ice as the can of pop was warm as it had been replenished which was a great touch of service. Food was very basic and for its price I wish I had gone to Morrison's as you get more for less.

All tables filthy, had to clean myself. Ordered kids meal (sandwich) and told the sandwiches hadn't defrosted yet so weren't available, this is at 2pm. Took 35 minutes for 2 breakfast meals to come out, then an additional 5 minutes for 2 slices of toast, then an additional 5 minutes for another 2 slices of toast which were all ordered together. Absolutely abysmal.

What a disaster. We came in as a group of 5 for quick lunch. Fair enough it was busy, however we have been waiting for an hour(some of us still waiting) for food to come out One the nearest spoke to a manager who apologised as there was only 4 of them on shift and the manager was cooking the food (which in turn causing more delays!!!) The staff is incompetent to be kind at best. One of the girls was bringing plates out one at a 5ime and getting tables completely wrong. Had no table manners or service and just was clearly not trained well enough. If you are understaffed, don't have the cafe open. You would be saving money and customer complaints from doing that. It just poor. Get your act together or don't bother

The hygiene here is disgusting. We waited for ages in the queue and did not seem that busy. The lady behind the till said she had a hair in her mouth and started putting her fingers in her mouth and the continued to serve and touch the till. Then she went and served food carrying out food to customers. There was a 30 minute wait just for any food which we ended up not getting any plus we was put off what we had witnessed prior to ordering. We ordered hot drinks instead and the tea spoon that was bought out on the tray was disgusting. It was covered in what looked like soggy green parsley which was not hard to miss. Would avoid and not return. Serious hygiene issues.

Worst visit I have ever had to a Tesco Cafe. I was a Tesco manager for 40 years so know how it works. I would never have left my store or department in such a poor state, but apparently the Manager had just left when we arrived so could not be spoken too. We left without eating as an hour wait for food, only one girl on till and drinks, with not the best attitude, although left to deal with all the disgruntled customers alone. Very poor for Tesco.

Just collected the big man’s breakfast, and everything was absolutely top notch. All good quality ingredients cooked perfectly and great eggs. Thank you.

Great for locals, passing tradesmen etc. Whether you want to eat in or takeaway. Everything from toasties, lasagne, cottage pie, oatcakes obviously and more. Give the chip shop a rest at lunch, and try some proper nourishing food. The staff are really helpful & friendly.

The service was good and the food was tasty but I ordered the paratha with the chickpea curry. The photo showed the chickpeas in a small cast iron pot but they served it in a teeny stainless steel bowl and quite honestly it was a mean portion. Absolutely brilliant taste and they happily gave me a 2nd pot of chickpeas but guys sort your portion control out. Other guests were eating the sensibly sized breakfast options which looked fine.

Shocking food !! They don't take card so I made my order and went to the ATM I came back to my eggs being fried it that much oil it could of been a deep fat fryer ! Crispy bacon was asked for didn't get it. Got back to my van only for my colleague to say god u stink of chip fat !!! And then to top it all off 2 mins after eating part of it......it was making a return journey back up and in to a bush !!! If I could give less than one star I would

Called in today for the first time with an old work pal, the food was great and a good price, the place is spotless. The staff are all very friendly and efficient + the atmosphere is very nice, relaxed and friendly. We will go again, most certainly! Lots of tables, not hemmed-in, spread about nicely. We were going Tesco cafe, but it was rammed with families and queues! So glad we went here, this is our number 1 destination now! Fantastic menu and choice. 10/10!

Food ordered, phone call to say item out of stock. Requested it be cancelled, but that couldn't be done apparently, and it can't be cancelled my end. So ordered alternative (even in your reviews you say you can cancel an order!) as other option was to go and get the cash apparently. Burgers were missing their toppings, cheesy fries missing, peppercorn sauce missing and the wings were so thick with coating they were inedible. Will not be ordering again.

I find that Starbucks coffee is a little better than Costa coffee, not by much. Costa has a more comfortable seating arrangement and generally cosy. Food however, is the same at both with corporate muffins and safe cheese toasties. Can’t complain as they all taste good enough.

What a shame. First ever visit with colleagues 2 standard coffee 1 x water £11.80 but bill was 12.45 total rip off First and last visit. Customer service well below par staff little engagement in communication, two staff taking as if they had a wasp in mouth.

Update We certainly enjoy going to Starbucks Wolstanton shopping complex. Right I’m not usually one to make complaints but I have come to drive thru for a drink at 10:30pm on the 12th of Aug, when saying my order at the order point just had to start laughing at me down the microphone? Tried to order twice and just ended up driving away

Ordered a STRAWBERRY AÇAI REFRESHER and got given a completely different drink. After I paid £7 and waited for 15 mins (as the young female watched the young male struggle to make drinks on his own) the wrong drink I questioned and said this is not correct. Instead of decent customer service the young female then shouted at me and said I confirmed this drink- NO. She confirmed a “strawberry refresher” which is what I wanted. She then gave me a coconut refresher. I asked if it could be remade and the member of staff scoffed at me. No apologies no miscommunication just closed the window. If I had the opportunity I would’ve spoke to the manager but the window was slammed in my face. Awful customer service from the young female standing in the window (and not doing much more) inflated costs for a drink is one thing but disgusting behaviour from staff is another. Will not be returning and don’t recommend to anyone else who wants THE DRINK THEY ORDERED

July 23 update: Still producing the amazing challenger and still the same friendly service.. Original: Really nice oatcakes with a wide choice of filling. A Challenger oatcake will set you up for the entire day! The staff and owners are friendly and professional. Prices are good value for the oatcakes. You can even freeze their regular sized oatcakes for 3 months...

Lovely quality food and generous portion sizes would happily order again I reccomend the sausage cheese and baked beans and hashbrowns challenger with brown sauce

First time caller, cooked oatcakes & a dozen oatcakes. Very nice & hot & well presented. Very busy but still served quickly, seemed to be very organised staff wise. Originally from Stoke but only come to Stoke from Birmingham 4 times a year on certain dates, will definitely call again.😋👍

Stopped off enroute looking for a quick breakfast, great food (we had oatcakes, coffee and milkshakes which were excellent) friendly staff, excellent value for money. If you're feeling particularly peckish go for the challenger !! Highly recommended, will be returning. Note/ this is takeaway only.

Everyweek atleast one order we receive is wrong this week it happened to be a cold Oatcakes with no cheese on whilst still being charged for 3 toppings even thought it only has 2 I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know. How do you even send an oatcake out cold?

Fab, friendly, helpful and very customer focused service. It's so hard to find a breakfast that isn't oatcake or full English in this area. So a real gem! Wish I'd asked for just one pancake (huge). Only negative -rubber aroma from gym. Will defo return!

A brilliant cafe - you don’t need to use the gym or be a member to visit. I have quite often worked from here for hours at a time and find the staff really friendly along with the food being restaurant standard. If you just fancy a quick sweet treat or a milkshake then this is also the perfect place!

Stopped here during a long drive. Nice cafe, do not be put off as it's inside a gym. Good menu, reasonable prices. Staff friendly. Lot's of nice seats. Has a nice warm welcoming feel. Would definitely go here again.

Breakfast advertised at 5.25 on eye level board as u walk in . No description of breakfast . Had a coffee too . Came to nearly £12 so looked closer . Board high above till with description of breakfast. 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 egg beans 1 toast and hash brown . Was asked if I'd like mushrooms tomatoes and black pudding . Not many people like these but are usually part of a breakfast. Was never told these cost extra . Looked on website . No prices either . My wife and visited hanley tesco and decided to have breakfast whilst we were there. When we finally got to be served the member of staff told us there was a 10-15 minute delay for breakfast as a member of staff hasn't turned in for work. In reality we waited 20 plus minutes for 1 black coffee and 1 cup of tea. The food that we ordered then came out 45 minutes after we ordered and trust me it was not worth waiting for the toast was cold the beans were just warm the hash browns tasted like they had been deep fried in old oil they were disgusting. The member of staff who brought the food over to us her customer service skills were zero as she slated the tray on our table and said there. She made us feel like we were an inconvenience and in the way. If this is how tesco hanley cafe treats there customers with substandard food and service then they don't deserve customers. I wouldn't have but the cafe wasn't even half full there was hardly anyone in there. We will not be revisiting for food ever again and tesco hanley cafe there's plenty of places around this establishment to get good food and great service

tesco café is a great place and really clean and the staff are always very pleasant. the food is always hot and cooked to perfection (yummy) lovely the food is great value for money and there's always plenty on your plate and most of all the staff bring you the food they also offer you other things such as extra toast or something like another tea or coffee which is nice the staff are always welcoming to you and so polite

Unfortunately this cafe is going downhill it di used to be a good place to eat, on first arrival no tables were cleaned customers were having to move trays to clear a table, there is a limited service on food which has been like this for a few weeks, waiting times are ages, the food is OK but was only just warm, staff are OK but you really need to make sure they are putting the right meals threw the till has mistakes are been made. I think lack of staff is definitely an issue.

Avoid this absolute shambles of a place. Haven't got a clue my sons ended up with food posing from this awful place. I ordered sat down then looked over at one thing and the food was out. Reheated clearly, the cakes on display on a plate were not covered at all. I don't think any of the staff qualify for food & hygiene this place needs to be investigated further coming from someone who's worked in hospitality this is the worst thing I've ever witnessed.

Food was cold and disappointing. Staff were nice but place wasn't that busy and wasn't that clean. No atmosphere. My son had fish n chips and the batter used to cook both the fish and the chips needed changing as it was over used and dirty. His food was covered in black specks and he refused to eat it.

Shocking. Filthy cups, coffee station area. Uncleared tables & rubbish on floor. Coffee (when I eventually found a clean cup) was like weak muddy water. I had a refund on the coffee. We will never return.

I had the ultimate breakfast for £7, great value and the food was tasty and warm. Only problem was waiting 25 minutes for it to come out.

Every now and again I use this cafeteria. I find it clean, tidy and the staff are smashing. They do lovely fish here, so when the urge takes I will pop in for Fish, Rice & Peas. 2 of those meals with two hot drinks for around £11, it's a fare meal and cheaper than the chip shop. Shame they close at 7pm, or I'd used the place a lot more 👍

Normal Morrisons cafe as usual had the vegan breakfast, didn't come with avocado this time but other than that as good as usual

Not greeted at till with 6 staff present, tho service was quick & plentiful & accommodating. Manners & respect wasnt demonstrated upon clearing table whilst still sat down. Politely told young staff member to ask if you can take plates/cups away before clearing.

All of the staff are really lovely to talk to, helpful and nice. The best Starbucks I’ve been to. The food is always great and the drinks are always great. Really spacious, extremely clean, never seen a dirty table here.

Out of all the local Starbucks, this is by far my favourite! The staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful! The drinks are always made perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed even when busy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. 100% reccomend a visit.

I am moving to a new job so I have two weeks off and I have been coming here for an hour twice a week, it’s been lovely, it’s quiet and the staff are really nice. Ordering from the app is easy to get my points. My new favourite hang out spot to play my switch and chill with a coffee

Nice restaurant, plenty of seating and not too busy for my business meeting. Food was good and coffee at the perfect temperature. There is free unmetered parking outside, but only a few spaces.

Slow service forget to give you a fork with your food when the place was empty not like they had anything else to do other than some egg bites then they just chuck them in a brown grease proof bag and instead of leaving them in the tray they come in like every other star bucks does ginger guy guessing he’s the manger who can’t cope with one customer find some new staff
