Their house made Jungbusch Pale Ale rivals the best in North Carolina, reminds me of NoDa Jam Session and Sugar Creek Pale Ale. Keep up the good work and best wishes for success.

The place to be for Beerlovers! Decided to visit Taproom Jungbusch after reading some reviews, greater than i expected. Ben is a great guy, passionate beerlover and owner of the Taproom, together with the rest of the staff. Live Jazz & jamsessions on regular basis. The focus is on craft beer and the atmosphere, you can bring your own food. Looking forward to visit Taproom Jungbusch again!

Racist! Me and some friends were denied the access for no logical reason: we were not loud, not drunk and not wearing anything excessive, but the guy at the entrance said “I am the reason, you are not going in when I’m here”. The guy is the one with long beard and bossy. An absolute rubbish person. How can this place feel so good at being represented by such a filthy piece of garbage? When I insisted to know the reasons, he came face to face to threaten me. I am going to report this place to the police.

Who doesn't care about a good interior and exterior can have a good time. It's a small bar with a small dance floor. The seats had their best days a longer time ago, as did the rest of the furniture. The toilet doors are placed next to the little dance floor which is a little bit annoying. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The bartenders are friendly, as are the bouncers. I would say for a spontaneous night out or to get a "Filmriss" definitely good enough. For a fancy date or special night out to celebrate I might not recommend the bar. Side note: I gave an extra star just because it has a nerdy style.

Roof Lounge in Mannheim has a lot to offer! I ordered the pulled beef burger, which was really good – juicy and full of flavor. However, the truffle fries were dry and not particularly special. The atmosphere was a bit cold due to an open door that should have been closed, which made the experience less cozy. On the bright side, the service was excellent – very friendly and attentive. A decent spot overall, but with room for improvement.

Serves good food in a nice atmosphere with seating inside and outside. Worth a visit specially if you are staying at the Radisson. During my visit several mice were present, scuttling around. So do make sure you tuck your trousers into your socks!

Lacklaster experience with okay-ish drinks but bad service. We got first drinks pretty fast. We wanted another round of drinks but after 20 minutes of no one coming we were done. Best cocktails in Mannheim, with a ever changing inventive menu linked to the seasons and by far the best service you could ever get in a bar. An absolute wonderment how they can attend to so many tables with cocktails with such few staff members. The staff are always smiling and happy to chat and still somehow manage to serve such a busy venue. The skill and genuine-ness is reason alone to visit. The cocktails, when visiting at Christmas, are an inventive take on cocktail classics, such as Moscow mule and old fashioned, and the spin is not just a novelty but actually adds a fresh take on a classic and well loved cocktail. The place is cosy and there is a great push to get cosier, which helps emphasise talking to neighbouring tables. Staff speak a great English, we spoke German back, but our guests visiting Mannheim appreciated being able to speak and order themselves and not via a translator. Would really recommend visiting and even going out of your way to visit, not just if you like cocktails but if you appreciate a top class bar in general.

Every room we visited just makes you think of the people that sat in those seats or ate at that table. The artwork is stunning, statues are beautiful, the carvings on the furniture have to be seen. I enjoyed it so much! The experience starts on the sidewalk looking in. The court yard is impressive and the palace just feels, homey, if it makes sense. The entrance was 9 euros and I received an electronic guide in English which was surprisingly amazing. The information was interesting and it was read in an engaging way. Also, it was usually accompanied by baroque music. Before starting the 'tour' you need to leave your bag at a locker room, so make sure you have a 1 or 2 euro coin. You will get it back when you leave. Inside the palace you can enjoy both the rooms and the architecture, but also pieces of furniture and artifacts. There are several rooms, and several floors. One of the rooms is an interactive music room. You get a pair of headphones and can plug them in at different stations and listen to music and explanations. However - the explanations are in German. I didn't see an option to hear it in English. It is just the right size - enough to see without getting tired or bored, and leaving wanting more. At the end, where you bought the ticket you can buy some post cards and souvenirs - very reasonably priced.

I like this bar! It’s a fun place. The drinks are really inexpensive and they broadcast 2 signage billboards listing all the different names of shots that they serve— all for 2€ each! Remarkable. The bar allows for inside smoking which can be quite an annoyance for people who don’t smoke; the stench does grow strong. It’s slightly unkept in its cleanliness and overall condition, the state of the bathrooms was rather tragic and the floors and tables aren’t quite clean. Though overall, I have fun here and the bartenders are quite friendly - along with the security. I’d recommend for a fun night out in Mannheim!

We had a booking issue at another restaurant close by so had to come up with a last-minute idea while visiting Manheim. We are lucky that we found this beautiful little spot super close to the Rhine River with great service and delicious food. We didn’t have reservations so they accommodated us as a walk-in at 7:30 PM. We were lucky to get the last table and are very happy that we did so. They specialize in traditional German food, and I would classify this place as a casual spot with a very homey feel. Pricing is also very fair. The menu has a lot of great options on it and the portion sizes are quite large. Being our first visit, we wanted to try some of the more popular dishes and went with our waitress’s recommendations for the entrée. To start I had the Beef Carpaccio, which was pretty good. Being that I’m Italian and I am very specific on this preparation and it wasn’t quite as delicious as some other versions I had in France during this trip, but still, I really enjoyed it and I’m happy that I ordered it. For my entrée I chose the Die Metzgerei Cordon Blue, which is two schnitzels, in between hearty ham and cheese. It came with a side salad and honestly, I couldn’t even finish all of it. The flavors were great, it just was a lot of food and I got through about 80% of it. We did not leave hungry and we really had a nice meal. I would recommend to anyone visiting Manheim and would stop in again next time I’m in town.

I tried to make an order in german but maybe my german was unrecognizable that the owner just switched to english 😂 but i think the positive side is that the foreigners can rest assured they can converse in english easily here.

We had so much fun. The parking was so easy and well signed. We were able to pay when we arrived and that made leaving super easy for us. The signage to know were we were sitting was also clear and easy to understand. They had so many different food stands with different offerings. No complaints here. They were so many bathrooms - the wait in the lines went by so quickly. We were there for a ice hockey game and definitely will comeback. The staff was kind and helpful and the place was clean and welcoming.

Good Layout, we've been there many, many times for hockey. Today I was there for a concert. They could spread out the food and beverage options - there's nothing on one side and you have to walk down to the first level and halfway around the arena. I always take the train, there's a stop right outside the parking lot. Parking a car there is a nightmare when you go to leave.

SAP Arena is a great venue for concerts. Very good sound and easy access. Ranks are steeper than in other concert halls, but you have excellent view. We stood in the ground floor anyways. During the show, getting drinks is comfortable with short walks to the stands. Queing time was acceptable, as only one of two sales booths was open - Judas Priest was not sold out. We came by car from Karlsruhe direction and directions were clearly given by various signs (good addition to Navi). Parking spaces in abundance, you can pay ticket before concert to save some time, yet you will phase some traffice jam in the garage anyways before leaving the premises. After that it is smooth sailing.

I went for a simple dessert of an ice cream scoop and, although from supermarket (Movenpick I assume) I think they should broaden their selection beyond chocolate and vanilla. For example the other classic multipurpose lemon, that I would have enjoyed better than the vanilla. First from 2022 : For now i'm keeping it average since I just had a greek salad and a beeramisu and two quite honest beers. They were OK and the beer in the dessert was noticeable, perhaps overall a bit heavy for the summer. If I may suggest a twist, perhaps using a stout instead of probably a pale lager for the biscuit dip may kick the flavor a bit up ;) The summer heat didn't make me brave enough to take some typical dishes I'd take in a brewery -- I'm going to try next time. I didn't know any of their beers so a big plus certainly goes to the bartender and her patience to let me try a couple of beers from the tap before my order. I finally took their Keller and their Amber Lager.

So we ordered vegan döner platter, it was delicious but a but too oily.
