Irish pub
Nestled on Grosse Langgasse, The Porter House Irish Pub is a vibrant spot that truly embodies the spirit of an authentic Irish pub. With its lively atmosphere and friendly patrons, it’s the perfect place to catch live football while enjoying a great pint of Guinness. The bar manager, Pierce, brings his expertise in beer to enhance your experience, ensuring you have a delightful time whether you're there for the game or just to unwind with friends.
The pub is well-located and doesn’t serve food, but you can bring your own or have it delivered, which is great—we always order pizzas and eat there. It has typical Irish decor, is spacious inside, and has outdoor seating. There are TVs for sports and a fun pub quiz. The staff, especially Piers, are very friendly. It's a great place to meet new people and have a good time.
Michelle C — Google review
A rustic, charming, fine establishment—truly comforting. Had the good fortune of meeting Raymond (Ray) and had a great conversation. I think the best parts were the atmosphere and beer/alcohol selection. Unfortunately, you’re out of luck if you’re looking for a bite since there’s no kitchen, BUT the vibe is enough to fill your belly. I will definitely visit again and encourage others to do so as well. A small slice of sanity in an insane world.
Oscar — Google review
☘️ 🇮🇪 Excellent place for all lovers of Irish products, especially for me the well-treated Guinness beer. The only thing missing from the place is at least some small food. Live broadcasts of sports matches every day, very pleasant summer garden
Jan B — Google review
The waiters definitely need to learn to tap beer! No, you don't need a spoon to tap a german Helles! And you don't pour it from one glass to another! And the waitresses need to stop complaining about having to work in front of guests.
Christian K — Google review
Great place! Pierce, the bar manager, is very knowledgeable on beer and pouring protocols. He is Irish and speaks English well and so does a lot of the staff. It gets really, really packed during football games so plan accordingly. It can get a bit warm inside when there's a lot of people. Everyone there is friendly including the patrons. They did not serve food when I was there but there's plenty of options nearby if you want to bring your own.
Troy W — Google review
Was in Mainz for a few days near the end of my 2 week trip around Germany and was growing a little tired of the German beer, as nice as it is. I was in the mood for a friendly Irish pub, and some Guinness, and happened upon the Porter House. The ambience and atmosphere inside is great, and the Guinness is good. For that alone, I’d give it five stars. But after a couple pints, I was in the mood for something a little sweeter. I asked Pierce if he had any specialty cocktails or if he made a decent white Russian. He said he made a great white Russian. Of course I took that with a grain of salt. But when he produced the first one in front of me, I was extremely intrigued with the aesthetics of it and the presentation. I’m a little bit of a cocktail snob on certain drinks, but I have to say it is probably one of the nicest looking and best tasting white Russians that I’ve ever had…and in an Irish pub of all places!! What a great unexpected surprise! Notice I said when he produced "the first one"... I enjoyed more than one! 😜As odd as it may sound, visiting this pub for an amazing white Russian alone is well worth the visit if Pierce is bartending. Oh, and on that note, Pierce is probably one of the friendliest pub bartenders I’ve ever run across! But then again, he’s Irish, and the Irish ARE pretty damn friendly! 😉Well done, Pierce and Porter House!
Kurt V — Google review
Our favorite pub to have a drink. A pub to go with friends and have a nice time. The drinks are ok. The service is good.
Costa M — Google review
Awesome place, Pierce the bar manager as well as the Spanish bar tender are the most awesome guys. They even allowed me to burn sugar on my spoon to appreciate my German tradition of smelling burned sugar. I love this place, the drinks as well as the people who go here. Highly recommended, check it out!

Brewery
Restaurant
Eisgrub-Bräu is a 19th-century venue turned informal gastropub that offers a hearty menu and on-site brewed beers. The former ice cellar now serves up three types of beer alongside gastropub-style dishes like schnitzel and spundekase. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying authentic cuisine with friends, family, or large groups.
Best pork knuckles in Germany!!! Strongly recommended! We have gone to the same restaurant for lunch three times in a row!!! Never done this before!
NZAURUSS — Google review
Great food and beers. Portions are huge. They also sell bottled beers that you have to use within 10 days. Luckily some of the waiters speak English otherwise I would have been completely lost. I think booking might be a good idea, the place is very big but very popular too.
Emilio M — Google review
The pork knuckle was giant and delicious. The house light beer was also good. It was nice sitting outside with the breeze. There were lots of flies though, so, if you don’t like insects, you may want to eat indoors.
Ben P — Google review
Called for a last minute reservation, they could not have been friendlier, found us a table on top floor (super cold Ac!) and amazing server, we had our beers in 5 minutes everyone was so friendly! Food we ordered schnitzel and added on mushroom sauce and red cabbage, and had brats and a salad everything was amazing, and huge portions. Highly recommend can’t wait to come back
RENEE F — Google review
Very good experience. The servers were super nice, made some recommendations and even allowed me to taste their ipa beer before ordering. The food was very tasty and the portions were quite big. Would really recommend it.
Carmen C — Google review
Very typical German place in Mainz. It was recommended to us. I liked it, the food, it is like a tavern, which makes it very typical. I ordered spätzle with meat and some sauce, very tasty. 😋 Some guests on the other tables ordered like a gigant bier tube, it was enormous. Pitty that I don’t like to drink alcohol, otherwise it would have been a whole experience to have tried that thing. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Carmen A — Google review
No waiting time needed on a weekday evening. The place is actually quite big including seems like an underground floor. It gets more and more crowded as the night goes. Food did not take long to arrive. Portions were good in general. We ordered 2 pork knuckles for 6 persons and it still seemed too much. The seasoning for all dishes was not very salty and would not make you crave for water after every bite. The restaurant is pet-friendly as I saw a Lab was allowed to enter with the owners, which was very nice.
Kero C — Google review
The place has a great atmosphere—an original old pub. Beer is even better. The pork shank I had was not good. The more it cooled, the more it resembled dry wood. In the end, it was even very hard to chew. I managed to eat a third of it. I will come back for the beer and the atmosphere, maybe try something else to eat.

We had a delicious dinner tonight in a lovely atmosphere ! On the pricier side though

This restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect, our waiter Osiris was fantastic. He knew all about the dishes and offered great recommendations for wine to go with our meals. Our food was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in Mainz.

Great hidden gem. We didn’t stay at the hotel but saw the reviews and didn’t disappoint. Great cocktail options, the ambiance is great. Quiet, and the design of the bar and hotel is just beautiful. Make sure you go to the back room close to the lobby it’s beautiful. The food menu looks great but limited.
Sebastian S — Google review
Lovely service and well-prepared dishes here at Adam & Eden. They also have a good selection of drinks and gins which was what we had with our dinner. Portions are hearty which made for a very satisfying meal!
Bee N — Google review
Very good atmosphere. The food choice is not so big, and food is itself decent. But if you consider the location, then it is the best restaurant:)

Terrific fresh food with a great view of the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful, took their recommendation for the wiener schnitzel which was excellent. Great stop for lunch between trains.

Weinstube Rote Kopf in Mainz offers a cozy atmosphere where guests can enjoy a wide selection of beverages and dishes. Whether in the rustic dining area or the vaulted cellar with old stonework, there's something for everyone. The wine bar serves around 50 wines by the glass and features a must-try specialty on the menu: spundekas, a spicy fresh cheese served with pretzels. Additionally, regional specialties like Handkase mit Musik are also available.
Randomly bumped to this place and decided to take a seat .You know it’s good when the menu is only in German .They prepared the food according to season . And was delightfully surprised how tasty the food is .Highly recommend their baked goat cheese salad , their Riesling was recommended by the staff , outdoor ambience is really nice to sit out , just hope they able to find more staff cause they really busy . Weekdays only open after 6pm . Highly recommend this place .

Excellent food and wine, down a small alleyway off the main square. Good value, good atmosphere. We chose to eat outside for Saturday lunch and the parasols were big enough to protect us from a short shower of rain. No need to book for lunch. Waiter spoke good English and told us his favourites from the menu. Enjoyed the pigs cheek and the chicken, washed down with a nice bottle of local red Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hazheat — Google review
I believe this is the best restaurant in Mainz serving local cuisine. Limited menu, great food prepared with love and care. If you are craving average greasy Bürgerliche Küche, not your spot :) . You do get delicious salads, stews, local appetizers, ... and a broad wine selection.
Frederik W — Google review
Delicious.... That's all I can say about this little tucked away place down a small street The melon with mint and spicy peanuts was so fresh and light but had a little kick at the end from the spicy peanuts, perfect for a summer evening dinner. The show stopper was the pork loin. The perfectly cooked and tender loin was accompanied by creamy potatoes, carrots, and rich mushrooms that made this not only savory but a perfect way to end the day. It was rich but not overly rich. I tried two of the by the glass red wines... The cab and one of the pinos. Both were excellent but I favored the Pinot. They offered cream brulee but I had no more room. Maybe next time.
J Z — Google review
When you get seated at the same table as people you are not grouped with, check your bill very closely. I realized when I got home that we were billed for things we didn't eat. And of course they don't reply to their email. For the rest a lovely place worth visiting, not too many options and a tad expensive, but no regrets on that level.

The experience overall was excellent. A hidden gem of Mainz. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and good service. We will come back if we are in Mainz again! Number 1 restaurant 🥰
Valeria R — Google review
Went here because it showed up on a list of best paces for wine…. Heck it is called a Weinstube…. Big miss there! Showed up and got seated. Menu came asked for wine advice - nothing…. Pretty much - oh- you are not having red meat - have a white whine…. Doesn’t matter what you pick…. We ordered the food. Not bad in the food area. We got it ate it, drank the arbitrary wine…. Wanted some dessert. Second server came over - told us she does not drink wine at all so no idea. Turned out to be great advice as the order we gave her was totally ignored - as was the dessert we ordered. So we waited for 30 minutes for nothing - nobody checking on us, nothing…. Finally we were able to get first server back to get the final check edited for the stuff we did not get and got out… 90 minutes we will not get back and wasted Time thinking we were going to get wine advice. Better off reading the internet - I pass.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Mainz, look no further than Willichs. This charming restaurant specializes in modern European cuisine with a focus on plant-based dishes that beautifully blend French and Italian influences. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, showcasing creativity without unnecessary frills. For lunch, you can enjoy a well-priced menu option, while dinner offers an exquisite multi-course experience that will tantalize your taste buds.
I don't always give restaurants 5 start, but this place was the best. The menu is great, food was delicious, staff is nice, and the environment is great! I loved the outdoors sitting, but they also have a nice indoor space. And the food was absolutely delicious and tasty.

Didn't have a great food experience here. The atmosphere is nice but that's it... We ordered two dishes that the taste wasn't there... No flavors at all... Couldn't finish my dish, it was really bad. Also, the restaurant wasn't full and took 1h15 to bring our orders.
Raphael K — Google review
When this appetizer arrived I thought it was a joke. We paid almost 70€ per person including drinks and went home hungry... However, my visit was last year so hopefully things have improved since then :)
Mio — Google review
Amazing place, fantastic vegan food and wonderful service. I wish I lived here as I would eat here every day. Thank you for a fantastic birthday dinner.
J C — Google review
For us it was unfortunately a disappointment :( Maybe the expectations were too high. The restaurant was clearly lacking staff. We waited 45 min just for the water. The dishes arrived way before the wine, the bottle took ages. Also there was no explanation about the concept or the dishes whatsoever, we felt sorry for the staff (who was actually super nice) they were clearly rushing. The server had no clue about the bottle of wine we picked, ok, can happen, but... I found the prices perfectly fine, but for these prices you need to take a bit of a time with the customer. The dishes were all very fresh and looked beautiful, there is a clear concept from the kitchen, yet everything felt a bit blend and underseasoned. The restaurant has a potential, I am gladly returning on a next visit to Mainz and see where they progress. I recommand visiting, no hard feelings behind my feedback.

Nestled in the heart of Mainz, Stadtbalkon is a vibrant hotspot that promises an unforgettable experience. This grill restaurant offers a delightful array of culinary options, from juicy burgers and grilled pizzas to succulent steaks and even vegan dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing beer or an exquisite wine, their extensive drink menu caters to every palate.
We visited the restaurant quite spontaneously for an early dinner with two small children. The service was very friendly towards our family and they even offered some paper and pens to keep the children busy. The restaurant is in the first floor and the attraction is the small balcony with a couple of tables with blick to the city teather and square. The food was delicious we ordered from the seasonal small menu, the salmon was perfect, juicy and good seasoned, the “Bratkartoffel” were beyond delicious, I don’t remember when was the last time that potatoes tasted so good! And the sauce hollandaise paired with the asparagus was perfect! We will definitely get back!
Sofia L — Google review
I’ve visited this restaurant twice, primarily for their excellent spare ribs. During my first visit on a late Saturday lunch, the noise level was quite high due to the restaurant being fully occupied. This aspect could perhaps be improved. However, my second experience was much more pleasant with a half-full dining area. I anticipate that dining on their balcony during the summer would be a delightful experience.
Roman K — Google review
Nice steak, burger, veggie restaurant overlooking the pedestrian zone in front of the Opera House. Very innovative cocktails and lemonade mixes. Was glad to enjoy a steak and white asparagus! Hungry, so I forgot to take a picture of my meal when it was served. Delicious bourbon cocktail.
Kelly C — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The waiters were rude and showed no interest in the guests — even while ordering, they acted as if we were disturbing them. The place was extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to have a normal conversation or enjoy the evening. There was no sense of hospitality or helpfulness during the service. Our table wasn’t properly attended, and when we asked questions about the menu, the staff responded dismissively. For a place that looks nice from the outside, the service quality was surprisingly poor. The food was acceptable, but the overall atmosphere and staff attitude completely ruined the experience. Definitely not recommended.
Muhacir — Google review
We stopped in for our first meal in Mainz. Had a very good lunch and drinks. We arrived just before noon, which seems early by german standards, and were seated immediately. The crowd definitely grew while we were there, so maybe early is better. The ribs were excellent. We came here from the southern US and understand Southern BBQ very well. The ribs were good enough that we'd return just for them. The sauce was perhaps a bit sweet for our taste and I'd have wanted a little more heat, but that's nitpicking and is an individual taste not objective fact. It's in the same general taste as many very popular sweet BBQ sauces in America. The rib consistency was spot on. Tender and hanging onto the bone just enough to manage. The chicken "burger" that I ordered was likewise excellent. The chicken was marinated and flavorful. This is unique in our experience in Germany, where most meats are "underseasoned" to our American tastes. Also, any pattie shape on a bun can be called "burger" here, regardless of meat type or method of preparation. A fried chicken sandwich can be called a burger. This one was grilled, and again was very good. The bacon and cheese represented well, and the bun was fresh and delicious. We both had fries as a side and they were light and crispy, just as they should be. We have noticed that fries are generally better here, we've never had a mushy, undercooked fry. I had a fruity drink (strawberry colada) and my wife had a hot chocolate. Both were very good. Management was not visible at the front of the house, but the waitstaff was adequate coverage and we did not need management for anything. Also, they were in the process of a photoshoot of their menu, so they may have been preoccupied with making that happen. Service was attentive and responsive. Our waitress was polite and spoke better English than we do German. We managed quite nicely, and she did not seem put out by accommodating us.
Gary T — Google review
This restaurant is known for its nice views, especially if you sit outside on the balcony. They offer a variety of meals including vegan burgers and a vegan bowl with beyond meat. It would have been nice if they offered a basic vegan cheese burger but instead you had to choose from these combinations. Also, I somehow expected more out of the bowl after reading the description. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and you can pay with a card or cash. Also, the prices were fair compared to other places offering similar meals.

A beautiful place in Mainz. The food was delicious n even the burger was really tasty. Everything was very good. But there was one thing I have to talk about you. The service. We where sitting outside, it was not that cold that u have to let us wait that long for another round to order…I mean: u wanna make money or ? So come around. Don’t think that u r getting on our nervs…ask one more time instead of no more time…but everything else was fine. Check the view. Great place to stay even longer n drink a cafe.
Johnny R — Google review
We were at the restaurant yesterday for a special occasion and the waitress who took our order FORGOT!!! We were waiting for more than half an hour JUST FOR DRINKS. Then the second waitress who we talked to simply told us "Oh, my colleague forgot" and asked us what we had ordered. NO APOLOGIES and no drinks for another 10/15 minutes. When I got really annoyed and talked to another waitress (I wanted to talk to the manager, but was told "oh he/she may not be there") and expressed how unacceptable it was, FINALLY the second waitress came over and apologized and asked us if we wanted any tea/coffee on the house which we obviously declined. NO SIGN of the first waitress who actually messed up. I have worked in customer service as well and when you mess up, you APOLOGIZE! We had a TERRIBLE time because of this incident which really ruined the special occasion we went for. A very disappointing experience at this popular restaurant. DO NOT GO to this restaurant for the service!

After a delightful afternoon wandering through the enchanting Christmas markets, I found myself dining at Weinhaus Wilhelmi, a charming wine tavern nestled in Mainz. Renowned for its cozy and rustic ambiance, this establishment has been a beloved fixture in the city for over a century.
It was a very nice place. The food was marvelous, and the desserts were also great. If you have the chance, order the tiramisu—it was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and managed to find a table for us, even though it was a crowded and busy evening.

This restaurant was very homey, from the outside it looked small but it actually had 3 floors and was quite busy for a Monday. Schnitzel and potatoes were amazing but priced at 23 euros. I wanted to try the palatinate delicacy saumagen though tasted like regular sausage to me (still worth trying though if you're in mainz) . Reisling Wine was sweet and lovely. Great dinner but a bit pricey
Erza S — Google review
The Spundekäse was fantastic! In addition, the schnitzel was top notch and the potatoes that accompanied the schnitzel was the best I've had in Germany! Pleasant atmosphere, as well!

Giving it 5 Stars for the service and experience of dining there. Visited on a Saturday evening during February carnival. Lots of locals in interest costumes from the 17th & 18th century. In terms of food: schnitzel (average portion size, but good taste) & salad (generous size, with meat). Both on the high end of the cost range though... Staff speak English and are friendly. Apparently the place has a long tradition for carnival activities and a mini museum on the first floor, which was interesting.
Olivian O — Google review
Food was not satisfactory especially given the price. In addition, they charge extras like salad or potatoes additionally. The price for a steak is for meat only, beware. Not recommended.
Stefan Z — Google review
We came here with 5 guys on a Saturday evening at 6pm ahead of the crowd. One meal came with the sides of another. After that they managed to forget one meal and did not even care. Just after mentioning they tried to fix, but didn’t deliver before everyone finished on the table while bringing the same dish to other tables. Overall an unpleasant experience for the prices they charge. We are from the region and would never come back. I can not recommend to people visiting from far away.
Chuck K — Google review
It's cosy, charming, warm and has murals on the walls. The menu is amazing and I regret that I came after dinner just for a glass of wine. I loved that there is no music and conversations from couples and groups around you fill the pauses at your own table. The other patrons and staff were very friendly! Looking forward to coming here again.

Wine bar
Nestled in the charming Badergasse of Mainz, Weinhaus Bluhm is a delightful father-daughter establishment run by Murielle and Pierre Stadelmann. This cozy wine house embodies the essence of Alsatian culture, offering a unique blend of restaurant and wine bar experiences. Murielle, known as Mainz's only singing chef with formal training, infuses her culinary creations with vibrant herbs and spices that elevate each dish to new heights.
Tucked away in the heart of Mainz, Weinhaus Bluhm is a place where tradition and artistry meet on the plate. Housed in a centuries-old half-timbered building, the atmosphere immediately sets the tone for what follows: warm, authentic, and full of charm. The food is outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. Classics like the cassoulet with confit duck leg arrive hearty yet elegant, the meat melting into a rich, slow-cooked sauce that feels at once rustic and refined. The hackbraten, served over velvety mashed potatoes and finished with a glossy Burgundian sauce, showcases the kitchen’s talent for turning familiar dishes into something extraordinary. What makes the experience truly memorable, though, is the staff bringing a personal warmth that’s rare in dining today. Service is not only attentive but infused with genuine hospitality, you feel like a welcomed guest in their home rather than a customer in a restaurant. Weinhaus Bluhm is more than a meal, it’s an experience of flavors, friendship, and tradition. A must visit in Mainz for anyone who values food prepared with heart and served with soul.

We got this winehaus advised by somebody working in a wine store in town. Reviews made it look like good cuisine. The restaurant is small but cozy and without a reservation we were welcome. We choose the 3 course menu and asked for wine pairing with the food. This wasn't possible. (A chance your missing I guess when having a restaurant in a wine area and when you are called a winehaus). So we asked what good wines they have. The waiter suggested the Sauvignon Blanc because everybody likes it according to him. He could have asked our preference.. but that serving doesn't gets too much attention here showed when the waiters would never explain what was on our plates. Only an "enjoy". The starter of fish was nice. The maindish Hacktbraten was oke but too salty to both our taste. For dessert I had the cheese and my partner had the sweet dessert. Again it was fine, although when I asked which cheeses were on my plate and told them to explain me in German, the waiter couldn't recall them all. We enjoyed the coffee with the brownie a lot. It was almost the best part! Not bad food at all but people make it look like this place is fine dining and with that in mind we expected more. The dishes look fancy and cool but are not super special. By the way there was even salt and pepper on my pieces of cheese!! Cheese is salty enough guys!

One of my favorite wine bars in Mainz. Limited choices on the menu - but due to the dishes all being freshly prepared. Good advices on the rich selection of local wines.

Booked 12 days in advance for Martin's Goose, left our cell number. When we got there no goose and only 4 main meals on the menu including snails and fish soup. Service was not good. I waited 15 minutes longer than the rest for my wine. I won't be going back.

Order was taken extremely slow, simple loaded nachos were in fact, not loaded, with just a sliced chicken tender and a drizzle of sauce "dropped" over them, the sauce was more cardboard container than sauce, the shrimp quesadilla was pale and had like 4 tiny shrimps sliced sideways per quesadilla. Very underwhelming service and food. Drinks were okish.

Ordered food at 9 PM, arrived 10:30 PM with incomplete orders and things mixed up. Food itself was bland, wouldn’t order again for the price. Overall, service and atmosphere were disappointing.
Julia — Google review
Simply fastfood, the food cooked here has not a drop of passion. There's nothing about this place which can give it a Mexican touch. The atmosphere and service was decent. Price-quality is poor. Instead of coming here, better spend your money somewhere else.
Cristian M — Google review
Kinda pricey but the drinks were very good and huge portions of food.
NiaGrace C — Google review
The service was really nice- prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was not all that great. The tacos were kind of undercooked and bland, tasting like microwave food. The cocktails were also uninspired. Sorry, but we had higher expectations after visiting the Frankfurt Sausalitos.
Jo J — Google review
They give pretty sizeable portions for their drinks. Especially worth it for their half-price happy hour. Their drink menu is also fairly extensive. Lots of different items to choose from on the menu. I ordered Buffalo wings, but they were just fried wings with no Buffalo sauce, so I was a bit disappointed, but they were still pretty good. Good, lively, atmosphere.

Went here last night for a uni pub crawl. Fortunately we came during bingo night and it was a lot of fun! I am an Irish student and one of the staff members who served us was also Irish, so I was very happy to meet other Irish people away from home (who could’ve guessed, Irish staff at an Irish pub 😂)! I am not a drinker yet I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The atmosphere was great, the pub layout looked exactly like how it would be back in Ireland and the staff were very friendly. Best format of the Restaurant I've ever visited! Absolutely cozy place at the nice district of the city. There is a lot of Cafes and restaurants around. And at this place you can only buy drinks (they haven't any food) and order any food from the restaurants around. It's an Italian restaurant, Sushi, Fish restaurant, Thai, Vietnam and even Kebab (Dönner). So you need to pay for your food to the waiter from restaurant (don't forget to give them a tips) and for a drinks you will pay layer for the waiter of Zeitungsente. Stuff are incredible nice. Dog friendly (your dog can also get a drink here).

2/5 stars. food is good, waited 35 minutes for the food even when it's not too busy ☹️

Breakfast/brunch. Food is not good, seems not be homemade. Poached egg was hardboiled and mashed avocado did most likely not contain a lot of avocado. Service is potentially even worse. They are not friendly and we were waiting a long time even though only 30% of the restaurant was full. Coffee was cold by the time it arrived to our table. List goes on...

So — unfortunately, while my friend and I were traveling through Germany a few weeks back, we came across the Krokodil pretty early in our trip. This was unfortunate, of course, because it set such a hard-to-beat standard that the other pubs couldn’t quite match. The beer was excellent — some of the best I’ve had at a pub — I believe it was the Augustiner Hell that we tried. The food was solid for a pub as well. If you’re expecting a fine-dining, five-star restaurant (as it appears some here were), then you might be disappointed — but that’s kinda on you. The atmosphere and overall experience were great, and the staff was friendly too. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for good beer and a good time.

Quaint pub that is very unassuming from the outside. Walked past it for two weeks going to work when I first moved here. My wife and I stopped in for dinner and brought our dog with us. No issues with the dog there. The schnitzel was perfect. There are a few ways to choose from, I went with the mushroom and gravy variety. My wife had the potato soup. Also very good, had a tinge of mustard flavor. We went back for breakfast and we were not disappointed.

Great burger. I try burgers from many places and always keep it the same, cheese and meat only, cook it medium. This way I can grade the quality of the meat. This place passes my test. Here on a Friday night and had some beers with a chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good and the beers were cold. The only negative was it took a little while to get the bill and pay as both the bartender and server took their break at the same time.

Our friends suggested this place for lunch before the Mainz vs. Frankfurt football game. Unfortunately they were short staffed so they cautioned us that the wait times would be long but we thought that it would be fine - we were amongst friends, and had ordered some drinks to help with the wait. The frustrating part was that while other people's dishes came out, my spicy chicken salad didn't come out until 10+ minutes after theirs. I contemplating just cancelling the order completely since I was able to nibble on other people's foods. Again, I know that they were short staffed, but the reservation for ~20 some people were made in advance, and perhaps they should have tried to staff it appropriately due to our larger party.

Overall place is nice but they open for breakfast probably because they noticed it’s good business… around them there are few places which are amazing. They get customers who can’t make it to other places. Food quality is good, but it’s boring breakfast. 4 dishes while only 3 available. 50 min wait time for a simple omelette. Overall a joke - don’t open a breakfast place when you hire 2 people to run it. Bad bad bad.

Really good food. Unfortunately service is quite bad. Every time we go, it takes around 20/30 minutes and a couple of asks from our end until they finally come to say hello, give you the menu, take the order, etc. Would be better if they just allow clients to give orders on the bar at least... instead of making you wait.

Taiara C — Google review
Very popular bar apparently, at first no seats available. Service was slow and we had to beg the waiter if we could pay our bill. Meanwhile he assigned himself a small bonus thanks to a sneaky miscommunication. Ambiance was neutral, not disturbing but not uplifting either.
Wout B — Google review
One of the best bars in Mainz for sure. Tasty food, great drinks, friendly and hard working staff. If you expect a flawless experience you should try to change your mindset.
Sebastian B — Google review
The location itself is ok. If you're looking to get a quick drink or just pre-loading for the weekend it will do its job. Prices are a bit above average but everything got more expensive. It's still doable. There's two other clubs right next to it, so depending on when you'll go, you'll hear the music banging out loud, which could make sitting outside challeng. As the location is right next to the main road, it might be difficult to find proper parking space. The bar tender is friendly but the waitress wasn't that calm. We got served quickly as there weren't many people in the location. The toilet in this place however, makes for a trippy experience. After you locked the door you'll feel as if you're in a panic room and the decorations on the wall are supposed to give you jungle vibes but I couldn't help but feeling like someone was staring at you. The bird noises and the high ceiling didn't really help either. Other then that, the bar is clean although the disco music didn't really suit the emptiness. The concept of sitting comfortably doesn't really apply to this place.

Bar
Nestled in the heart of Mainz at Schillerplatz, Wallenstein Cafe & Bar is a delightful spot that perfectly captures the essence of a cozy bar experience. Imagine sitting at the counter with a freshly tapped Pilsner in hand, enjoying some pretzels while reminiscing about good times with the friendly bartender. This establishment not only offers an inviting atmosphere but also showcases Mainz's rich culinary heritage through its local specialties and traditional dishes.
Really nice smart bar with relaxing atmosphere. The flat savoury pizza-like pastries were good.

A nice bar on the square. Service was good. A pleasant place to watch people walk by. I was here on a Monday around noon and it wasn't very busy.

Really nice. Discovered this place by accident. For coffee we had Latte machiato, and you can add a flavour to it. As a small snack we took the croissant with chocolate filling. I find the shop inside has an interesting design. There is outside, inside and upstairs seating. Upstairs is tables and chairs. Downstairs is more pub theme. The staff were super and friendly. Prices were lower then expected. There is not much in terms of food. It had a large drinks assortment.

Great place to go for a beer, they have 'Gravensteiner' vom Fass. Busy Pub and a great place to meet up.Staff are very friendly and welcoming, if your'e going to Mainz you should 'pop in'.

I have been here multiple times with my fiance and it is by far our favorite cocktail bar in Mainz. The cocktails are always made very well, we love the long island ice tea and baileys colada. The waiters and waitresses are always very friendly and accommodating. After having accidently spilling my nearly full cocktail, the owner and I shared a good laugh and he was even kind enough to make me a complimentary drink. We love sitting outside but Inside is also very cozy and upstairs even has a beautiful view of schillerplatz. We can't wait for our next visit, I highly recommend this bar.

Located on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring near the train station, Das Nest Café/Bar is a versatile spot that transforms from a contemporary coffeehouse during the day to a lively cocktail bar at night. The café offers various breakfast platters, French toast, and a changing selection of cakes in its vibrant and jungle-themed interior. Guests can choose to sit on the street-side benches for some hustle and bustle or enjoy the shaded courtyard during summer.
Great place for brunch of breakfast and they have a lot of vegan options. The cafe is decorated very beautifully and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. We had the vegan French toast and the Stulle with fresh pressed orange juice, a cappuccino and matcha latte, which was not sweet.

This restaurant is close my hotel, and the online menu is very enticing. The food is fresh and delicious, and it’s presented very well. I am very conflicted about the service because, upon entering the restaurant, I saw no host or waiting area. I wandered to the bar and was shown the nearest table, but smokers directly outside made this a poor choice. After waiting a while, someone directed their attention to me. I placed my order and located another table, but no one cleaned it (or even offered to) until I directly asked. The order took quite a while to arrive, but I was able to enjoy my meal without disruption. My table was cleared after finishing, but 10 or so servers passed by without offering the check. It was only after I stopped a server that my check was processed immediately. I felt very ignored, but maybe this is the German way? I would eat here again, knowing what to expect (being proactive and direct), because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxing and calm.
DMCONVERT — Google review
The place had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, but it seemed like they were understaffed, as it took a bit of time for the service. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting for others. By 11:00, the oatmeal was already sold out, which was a bit surprising. We ordered a dinner plate for two, but it felt more like a portion for one. The plate included one slice of cucumber, two small tomatoes, a few leaves, and two slices of salami… etc I have ordered a ginger tea - which was hot water and 2 slices of ginger inside of it… no lemon or honey… well It was a bit underwhelming in terms of quantity. Perhaps we were just unlucky this time, but I would have to think twice about visiting again. P.S : place is pet friendly
Pavelas Z — Google review
Nice and cozy place that surprised with the superb quality of the food! I made a reservation only two days prior our Sunday brunch very easily over the phone and picked a 10 AM to 12 PM time slot (yes, you have to pick a time slot to visit). When we arrived shortly after 10 AM the place was already jam packed so naturally it took some time to get our orders in. Unfortunately we waited nearly 50 minutes for our brunch to arrive and had only 30 minutes to eat and leave. This time constraint was not considered by the staff and right after the 12 PM, check was brought to us and we were asked, not exactly in a nice way, to leave the establishment. Apparently it took us long time to order. Nevertheless, the staff was generally nice and shared recipe of some of the the home made food when asked. Drinks and hot beverages were okay, not so special. I had Chai latte and Aperol Spritz, both of them were missing something, the taste was just not there and needed to be refined a bit. On the other hand, the food here was exquisite and probably one of the best brunches I have had in Germany! All super tasty and you cannot go wrong with any of choices of the menu. I have to especially point out the carrot salmon which was off the hook and the home made pepper dip that worked perfectly with the cheese/sausage selection. Scrambled eggs with bacon were so soft and fluffy. Absolute delight! Nest Cafe has a hipster vibe and attracts mixed crowds. They offer a lot of indoor seating, a small patio in the yard and a couple of tables at the curb (that can be quite noisy due to car and tram traffic nearby). Paying with card was not an issue. Visited in April 2022.

I came twice to this place. The first time was about 5 months ago. The experience was overall good. I came back today expecting the same positive experience without any luck. The staff brought the wrong coffee then my breakfast order was forgotten so we had to order it again after waiting for 30 minutes. Nevertheless the food is good (not amazing but fine, that is why I rate the food with four stars) but the service got worse in comparison to the first time I came. I also noticed there were some issues with other customer’s orders. That’s a pity because the place is quite nice and the food as well. The pictures are from the first time I came to this place.
Deni W — Google review
Unhelpful, slow service with mediocre food. Both my friend and I found the tempeh on my open sandwich way too salty and when I complained at the counter they said they’ll come to our table to sort out the issue. It took the server half an hour to come to us by which time I had already eaten the sandwich without the tempeh and was no longer interested in ordering something else. Moreover, the guy also went on to mansplain how the tempeh needs to be prepared a certain way to taste good which was quite annoying! I’ve tasted and prepared tempeh enough number of times to know what it’s not supposed to taste like.
Sneha K — Google review
They have a large selection of vegan dishes which were very tasty and fresh. Their coffee was good as well. Unfortunately, they don’t have a single glutenfree & vegan dish on their menu and also weren’t willing to help when we asked. Our server may have been new, but she was quite incompetent and not very friendly. We’d love to return because of the beautiful interior and many vegan options but since they don’t offer anything glutenfree, we won’t be able to come back.
Hannah C — Google review
If you have basic cooking skills like knowing how to fry an egg or making your own hummus, you could definity open up a place like this. Brunch served here is pretty basic, nothing you can’t make for yourself at home. It doesn’t taste bad, but also nothing to shout about. We expected more from a place with an average of 4.7 rating on google.

I went there quite a few times, crowd is usually adult people between 30’s and 40’s Last Saturday of a month is usually is pretty good. Very spacious. Really liked it. 1 star less because DJ can be better.

Very Nice Club. Finally something where the grownups can go and have fun! You pay for a 10 Euro Card and that is how u pay for your drinks. So if you buy a 4 Euro drink, they scratch off 4 Euros from that card. Music is also good and has a mixture of everything. Plenty space to sit. Dance floor is also big.
Francesca C — Google review
It's a nice place, but I did not care for the DJ that night, he played music that I never heard before. Nothing current at all. In the drinks they put crashed ice and fill it to the top, so very little liquid/alcohol goes in and if you leave your glass unattended, they will take it away, thinking you finished your drink. Now I understand why people take their drinks with them to the dance floor. We paid entrance fee of €15 each and mixed drinks that are full of crushed ice were €10. I only got to enjoy a sip of it, because I left my drink unattended and it was taken away.
Oksana F — Google review
The music is fine, but more appropriate for the 3rd age. Anyone can still have some fun there though.
Andrei C — Google review
TLDR; it could be worse, but there are far better alternatives. The experience differs greatly, depending on the other visitors. I'd say the average age is about 35 to 40, but usually a few younger people can be found too. The music however is quite boring and the DJ seems uninterested. The location though is really cool. There is a lot of space, both in- and outdoors and the place seems rather clean.
Luca — Google review
Very nice place, staff is great, Club has large smoking zone also which is awesome. Parking is great, no problem to find a spot at all! Music which plays is chosen with taste and you can find younger and older people partying which is great! All generations included! Nur Komplimente für diese Platz, sehr schön!

Euro Palace is a popular nightclub located in Mainz-Kastel, Germany. It features four dance floors offering a variety of music genres including Black Music, Dance, Charts, Ballermannhits, and Disco Classics. The club is known for its spacious layout with multiple smoking areas and affordable entry fees. Additionally, Euro Palace offers special promotions such as 2-for-1 drink deals. The venue also provides VIP services and plays the latest rap and R&B music.
Didn't try food, but for the sake of a good review, I'll give it 4 stars. I love the place, it's very big, alot of smoking areas its safe, cheap to come in, my girlfriend even got a lifelong free pass, and they always have some sort of special, where you get 2 drinks for the price of one or something like that. It has a lot of variety with many different styles of music and decor. I'm 18 and my dad used to go to this club when he was my age, so it just proves that they know what they're doing and how to throw a good party if they're still around today and business is good. All in all, it's definitely worth a visit, and you'll get more than you pay for compared to most other clubs👍

It may be a huge club and all…but it’s awful. The security guards here are the worst. They are the rudest people that work here. They’ll fight you before they help you. Also, there was an American who got kidnapped and put in a trunk here by the locals. Won’t me coming back. Don’t risk your great night out and waste your time. There are more chill clubs. I said what I said.

Sajeera S — Google review
I know the rules. They don't want Turkish people inside the club because of the stress they bring. Also the bartenders do not like people they are sometimes rude and bring outside conflict to work. The manager is only the simple age of 27-28 or maybe a little younger. They don't give a damn if you lose your card you will pay 60 euro. VIP isn't VIP they let anyone inside regardless because friends of friends. The music is outdated and owner doesn't want any other music. He only cares about money the Americans bring on Friday. He is racist as well. On Saturday they are even more harsh the door only let the Turkish guys they know inside no one new only if you have a girl with you. Trust when I say this club is beyond trash. People they are not racist at the door they just have rules from a racist person. Also if you are rude to the bartenders they will double the price of the drink and you will not know it until the end. Trust when I say I know 100% what goes on there. Some girls are underage beware of this men. They have no control and drugs run in the club as well.

gave a lot of tip but one bartender asked for the security because i acidentally spiled the drink of another guy which i gave 10€ as an apology. even told the female bartender that i was sorry and i'm gonna pay for the drink. she didn't care. the friendly guy gave me the 10€ back 'cause he was sorry that the security threw me out because of THAT. Good guy, bad tender. Never again.

To me this place represents an integral part of the city of Mainz. It has something to offer nearly every day of the week and attracts a wide range of people. It's open when most other places are closed and offers a nice balance between culture and commerce. Mondays you'll usually have live Jazz for free. Tuesdays are usually reserved for up and coming Indie bands from all over the world (also free of charge). The weekends make way for Techno/ House or R&B/ Hip Hop club evenings, attracting a slightly younger or hip crowd. I deducted one star for the allowed indoor smoking in one of the bar areas. Not sure why this is still a thing in Germany when the rest of the world already caught up.

(Translated by Google) Hmmm.... Techno at its finest🙏, always good DJs at the start, but mostly hard techno. The location is very, very simple. What bothered me was that it was dirty and greasy everywhere. The sound system isn't the best, but oh well. Lighting technology should also be revised or perhaps get an LJ to do it. Otherwise quite nice to celebrate. But what was the absolute highlight was that there was smoking in the club🤮 that's not possible, so that was the last visit to the Bellini 😒 (Original) Hmmm....

(Translated by Google) I've never been to such a dirty club! The toilets were also really underground. I was offered drugs every few minutes and the counter staff was overwhelmed with the requests from visitors (although there wasn't much going on) there was no more bottled water... In this club I was anything but with an open drink in my cup felt comfortable. Roxy is an elegant club in Mainz, perfect for guests aged 25 and above. The venue is adorned with golden columns and chandeliers, creating a vibrant atmosphere for night owls. It's a popular spot for events like Christmas parties, offering exclusive experiences with efficient and friendly staff. Guests can enjoy a diverse music selection ranging from R&B to hip hop and reggaeton. While some found the transitions between songs slightly disjointed, overall it promises a great evening out.
The nightclub is very cool, the parties are wild, they host latin parties, hiphop, live bands, etc. the atmosphere is clean and neat. Drinks are great for the price. I had a great time.

Eigentlich gut. Immer sauber. Aber 2€ Gebühr für Kartenzahlung könnt ihr mit jemand anders machen. Kommt mal in der Realität an: おきゃくさまはかみさまですよ。 For the english speaking customers: if you don't have enough on your bill, they want to charge you a 2€ fee for card payment... Sorry, but no, that is absolutely gross. Will not leave my money there like that. Shame, because the rest of the experience is quite ok.

THE MOST RACIST CLUB I've seen in Mainz. I and my african american friend were denied entry by the bouncers last night based on the color of our skin. We insisted on knowing why and one of them (name undisclosed) pulled us to the side and said it's instructions from their boss and it would cost them their job if they let black dudes in. They don't deserve even a single star!
Donald K — Google review
The guards in the entrance were really rude. One of them asked us where we were from, when we said LATAM, he refused us entry. I won’t say he was racist, but probably a Latino guy had previously rearranged his girlfriends guts before. They were so cheap that even our female companions that were inside were kicked out without a refund. I would stay away from this shorty club. The bouncers clearly have never experienced any power in their lives. If I could, I’d leave 0 stars. We ended up going to a better place just two blocks away.
Jo A — Google review
Can be fun! Usually good music! But sometimes overplayed stuff. Sometimes staff out front is a bit disrespectful. My German isn’t the greatest and they weren’t very nice because I wanted to speak in English, told me I need to speak in German if I want to talk to him. Almost didn’t let my friend enter because she wore shoes without a heel, just plain, black, comfortable flats. I understand a dress code but not everyone can wear heels, especially those with feet problems who are required to wear certain shoes, like my friend! Used to be better in the past, for sure.

(Translated by Google) Official cocktails, but be prepared to wait a lot. Short version: decent cocktails with considerable waiting times. Long version: walk into the really nice place, get a seat right away, study the menu, and order: it's lovely! After 25 minutes, the friendly waitress said it might take a while. Not exactly how long. So I kept waiting, sipping water, waiting, nibbling nuts, looking at the clock,... My impression was that the cocktails around me were coming quickly. Even for guests who arrived after us. Hmm, are they regulars? After 45 minutes, we wanted to stop and pay for the water we'd been holding onto until then. And then, all of a sudden, the cocktails were ready. Well, everyone can figure that out. The cocktails were actually very good, but not worth the 45 minutes of my life. If someone had told me clearly upon entering the establishment, "It'll take at least 45 minutes today," everything would have been clear. I could have decided whether I wanted to wait that long or not. So, I'm disappointed. Everything's handmade, and everything takes time, I understand. But if only one person behind the bar can make the cocktails to the desired quality, then maybe there are too many seats in the bar. Conclusion: Good cocktails. We would have liked a second round, but we didn't want to invest that much time.

I love this spot in Mainz! Always a great place to chill and enjoy a drink. They also have a snack bar and sand volleyball court if you're feeling sporty. Sometimes they have live music otherwise the music is perfect for a chill beach session!

At first, the place looks beautiful. It's located at the Rhein with a nice seating area. Looking a bit closer, however, you start to notice that the flowers are artificial, that the booths have seen better days, and that the place is a bit lifeless altogether. We ordered a vegetarian Flammkuchen (only onions and a few tomatoes) and a bratwurst at the "Snackbar". There were no prices listed. To be fair, we could have asked, but even then... They asked for 18€ for the two snacks! The Flammkuchen was made with convenience dough, and the bread roll of the bratwurst tasted like the cheapest kind you could possibly find. The same goes for the drinks. Two Aperol Spritz will set you back 18€ again. Although they taste good, it's clear that you're paying for the view. Lastly, I want to mention that the service personnel was very friendly and not at all as dissapoiting as the food or the prices.
Martin I — Google review
This is the most amazing hidden gem, I was so shocked that something with such a cool, beach vibe (real sand, and live DJ music and night!) would be free entrance and run on the honour system not to bring in outside food/drinks. The vendors were not too expensive either (if this place was in Toronto, they would be charging entrance fee and serving $20 beers. This place you can buy a €3 ice cream and lounge in a hammock for hours without anyone bothering you to spend more. Well done guys for making this place exist! 👏🏻). I will definitely be back, this is my first recommendation for friends visiting the city. Thank you!🙏🏻

Cool, authentic German bar with friendly staff, good selection of drinks and beer, and plenty of interesting stuff on the walls and roof. Recommended!
Kristian T — Google review
Super cool interior with all the signs, stickers and other decor! Good beers, great music, and billiards! The back area is dusty (literally dirty, even on the pool tables) and I'm not a personal fan of smoking in bars, but it was a good time.
Maria L — Google review
one of the most coziest pub i have ever been !! loved the vibe. will definitely be back :)
Brinti M — Google review
Here is my favourite bar in Mainz.I’ve been here many times. It’s lovely since it has a lot of opportunities for you. You can: Play billiards, darts, table foosball, sitting outside, sitting next to the bar, just be there and enjoy the vibe. It gets crowded but totally worth it.
Sepideh E — Google review
Great little pub, friendly staff, good selection of drinks, interesting decor, good music. Darts and pool table at the back.
Where A — Google review
Exactly what you're looking for in a pub. There's a smoking are where you can also play darts, pool and foosball.
Melanie M — Google review
Tight little bar with great decorations. Good staff, good bathrooms and they speak English. Lots of character.
Dammitmitchell — Google review
Very cozy bar and nice decoration! Music and comfy sitting spots

Decent casino. Friendly staff but there was only one blackjack and roulette table and they use an automatic card shuffling machine for the blackjack table. They didn’t have any poker games so it’s mainly a slots casino. The cashier was on break when we were going to cash out so we had to wait roughly 20 minutes but the staff offered us free drinks because we had to wait which was nice. We had a pina collada and a moscow mule and they were quite decent.
Jón S — Google review
The registration takes forever. The whole entrance area doesnot look nice, with those bright white lights, looks more like a hospital. Once inside the first impression is quite o.k., but it is lacking atmosphere, no music, the machines are almost silent, staff looks/is grumpy, you have to pay for soft drinks and coffee and worst of all...smoking is allowed, so it smells bad. Do not recommend. We were planning an evening in the casino, but left within an hour.
C S — Google review
Horrible Experience! They used to have vibrant Black Jack and Poker. Now it resembles one of those slot machine halls found close to train stations, filled with shady guests and social welfare collectors. The beautiful Casino Wiesbaden is a much better option here.
Jason M — Google review
One of the worst experiences ever .. roulette is extremely a miss & a clear magnetic system to ruin your money and take it from your pockets.. be aware and careful & dont go there .. a very clear manipulation

Not very busy on a Friday night. Friendly staff and accommodating for English speakers

F. Minthe is a delightful outdoor bar that truly shines during the summer months, offering a vibrant atmosphere perfect for enjoying drinks with friends and family. The sandy area makes it an inviting spot for families with small children to play while adults relax in deck chairs overlooking the water. While you can bring your own food from nearby supermarkets, it's worth noting that payment options are limited—cash only for food and card payments above 15 EUR for drinks.
I'm a fan. Nice drinks, you can get your own food from the nearby supermarkets. Reasonably kid friendly, and very cool location.
Pedro S — Google review
Good food and drink options. But no card payment possible for food and for drinks only above limit of 15 EUR.
Wanni — Google review
Very nice outdoor bar with sand and deck chairs overlooking the water. Great for summer.
Tin T — Google review
Great place for a drink with friends and/or family. Even small children friendly, as they have sand everywhere for the little ones

Really nice place to have few drinks ! With a lot of sun and some music 👍
Damien H — Google review
Like this place. One star less cause of no coffee, doesnt work during the winter only for summer, you could change that on the Google.

KUEHN KUNZ ROSEN brewery in Mainz is an impressive spot with a fantastic variety of beers and outstanding service. The appetizing small food plates are also worth mentioning. They offer sample sizes, allowing you to explore their range of beers, with the mystique IPA and west coast IPA being particularly enjoyable. Additionally, they collaborate with guest breweries to offer even more options.
What a great day spent with friends, enjoying some new beers, and playing Uno. We snacked, we laughed, and our service was exceptional. I love their Helle and the Dunkle Lager beers enough that I took a 6 pack home with 2 of their Doppelbock beers as a bonus 🍻
Mike E — Google review
Wish this brewery the best. We liked the beer but the service was terrible! We were literally the only people in the brewery, sitting at the bar and were ignored. I love craft beer and breweries so I wish this brewery the best but wow, they have a long way to go with customer service.
Hugh J — Google review
Great place. Nice food. Added bacon to my vegetarian (!) Flammkuchen. Awesome! Check it out!

First time ever in a German micro brewery! And it is a lucky find. Excellent beer, stylish and cozy place.
Serge L — Google review
Drove an hour to drink beer here on a Sunday as both Google maps and Untappd said open 12 to 6pm NOT THE CASE CLOSED AT 1.30 NO SIGN OF LIFE ANYWHERE 😤😤
Otto T — Google review
I visited a couple of weeks ago before the official opening and spent a most enjoyable few hours chatting with one of the owners and sampling their excellent beers. The taproom area has been beautifully refurbished into a warm and welcoming space. Highly recommended and I'll be back next time I'm in Mainz.
Stephen M — Google review
Lovely little tap room of a brewery, only 10 minutes away from Mainz Romesh Theatre S-Bahn station. Selection of around 10 different beers brewed on the premises, plus a small selection of bar meals available in the evening. Also has a beer garden available in the summer. Reminds me of Hackney Wick in London, it has that sort of Vibe. Recommended.
Peter B — Google review
They have good IPAs and a fun taproom atmosphere!
