12/22/2024: Great lively spot for breakfast! Sat at the bar area and ordered huevos rancheros and biscuit and gravy. Both were delicious!! Service friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was okay, but the booths were tiny. I loved the decorations, but it was much too cramped. The presentation on their Monte criscoe was beautiful, but the taste was awful. The bread was too thick, the sauce was DISGUSTING, and you could not distinguish any flavor other than the sauce. The meat was okay, but not great. The only truly good thing was the jam. I will say the service was excellent, but their bathroom is horrendous. I am truly disappointed with our experience.

Awesome place with inside and outside seating. Super busy in the mornings. Stopped in just after noon time and got a table quickly. Great selection of Benedicts. Also, Mia is the best!

The line outside is long. And for a good reason. Perfect place for breakfast and lunch at Walla Walla. The food was cooked to perfection ( I know what you are thinking- well it is only omelets and scrambled and some salads. Yes! And it was perfect) Hush browns to die for. Coffee one of the best we had in WA State. They have attention to details. Food arrived exactly as we ordered ( eggs running, separating all ingredients as we requested, no salt). We love professional people and places. One thing regarding tips. Guys, this is not an expansive place. Leave the waitresses 20%. They are working hard at this location. Our tiny recommendation.

This is a must stop if you are ever in the walla walla area! The food is simply amazing and served up with a large array of fresh and unique cocktails. The staff are great and really seem to enjoy working there as well. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for breakfast after googling "breakfast near me" The server was pleasant and attentive without being pesky.I had bacon and eggs(that is their name after all) and it was good. They give you plenty of potatoes too, so you're not going to walk away hungry. Loved the outdoor seating.

EVERYONE in town recommend this place and I see why. Make sure you get a reservation at least a day prior if you can. Food was so delicious, savory and spectacular! I would definitely recommend this and will be back again.

Making reservations was easy online. This was restaurant was located walking distance to our hotel. We got here early but were seated right away. This place was busy. Didn’t realize they have an upstairs area as well in addition to outdoor seating. We were seated upstairs which was great. Nice ambience and vibe was good not very loud. Henry was our server who was great. We had nut allergies so he helped curate a menu options to cater. We had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach which was delicious. Chicken wasn’t dry. Ahi tuna with the mango salsa was our favorite! It was very flavorful and tuna seared to perfection. Lamb was good and had the right amount of flavor's and so was the halibut. Really nothing disappointing here. Great choice of cocktails and wine options. This place definitely on my list to revisit when in walla walla again.

We had heard great things. We did not have a reservation and were happy to sit at the bar. Very attentive staff.No bread or anything extra pre-meal. My lamb lollipops were delicious, and portion was perfect. My hubbys seafood fettuccine was ok. Most of the seafood was a tad over cooked. Skipped dessert. Not sure we need to go back, but we can check it offf the list. Service A+

The drinks were very good. Everyone around us was enjoying the experience as well. The host was a bit weird about us being seated at the bar on our own, without them moving drinks away first. Then another person was asking for a drink and they told him they couldn't serve him at the bar unless he was sitting??? The drinks and dessert are good. The chocolate cake was impossibly rich, but delicious. The whole menu looks fabulous but we only got drinks & sweets. The one bartender got into a big whiskey discussion with someone who wandered in, and stopped working entirely. It was DEFINITELY interesting for people watching, for sure! Overall, good experience, but staff were distracted.

Great service, food and cocktails- pleasantly surprised they had GF pasta, highly recommend making a reservation. They also have upstairs seating.

I ordered the brussel sprout salad always delicious - not tonight - they left out two of the four items that make the infusion of flavor amazing. No bacon or pistachios just left out. Pears replaced by apples perfectly fine for the minor substitute of one item but very overal very disappointed with the salad.

Food was amazing, portions are really small for the price. The drinks were very good as well. My only complaint is the service was spotty. It was busy to be fair but even when we first sat down, before the dinner rush, it took forever to order and the drinks took a very long time to come out. The patio is very pretty, they had heaters so the temperature was fine. I probably wouldn’t return although it was an overall good experience.

What a fabulous restaurant Passatempo is. We sat at the bar and had one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. The spicy pepperoni pizza was to die for. Our bartender, Forest, was amazing as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, we will be coming back!

If I could give Passatempo 10/5, I would. My husband and I visit Walla Walla frequently for wine tasting, and after one visit, Passatempo became a must-stop every time we’re in town. If you’re looking for a beautiful atmosphere, handmade food, and exceptional service, this is the place. Reservations are a must—plan at least a couple of weeks in advance. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Our top recommendations: the carbonara, focaccia, meatballs, and truly any of their pizzas. The cocktails are outstanding—Forest is an incredible mixologist who’s made us several off-menu drinks, all perfectly balanced. For dessert, don’t miss the tiramisu and an espresso martini (made the right way).

We couldn't get a reservation, but showed up around 5 and got seats at the bar. We each had a pasta dish and both were excellent. My wife also had affogato for dessert, which she loved. It was fun watching the bartender, who made beautiful drinks. Highly recommended!!

If you don't mind a very loud venue, the food and atmosphere is amazing. All of the pasta was done perfectly, and I was able to try three of them along with their amazing olive oil drenched foccacia bread. Beyond that however, their bar is more than complete with a detailed wine and hard liqour menu with rare finds and well constructed house cocktails.

Our service was excellent. Everyone was warm, friendly, and inviting. Our server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. And, our food was absolutely delicious. We will be back!

I trust this is a nice restaurant and we just had the poorest luck/worst experience. Everyone says this place is great. We arrived for our reservation and were acknowledged. They asked if we minded waiting a few minutes as they had just sat a large table. That felt like foreshadowing and indeed it was. We were sat upstairs and were enjoying the AC only to have them decide to open all the doors to “let the cold air out” in the 90 degree weather. What?! The room quickly became warm. We had Prosecco & Caprese to start - timely & tasty. We then order our mains and a bottle of Echolands Grenache, a local Walla Walla wine featured on the first page of their wine menu. Our server brought a bottle of L’Ecole Chenin Blanc. We politely let her know it was the wrong wine before she opened it. We reiterated Echolands Grenache. She’s says oh yes Grenache Blanc and disappears. She proceeds to give all her attention to her large table of 10. The food arrives and we have no wine. She returns empty handed but assures us she will bring it right out and references a Rose. Nope! We are nearly done eating and have zero faith. My Rigatoni was tasty enough and my husband’s gnocchi was okay. We also ordered a side of Grilled Summer Squash. I pictured a beautiful platter of golden squash, nope! It was a soggy bowl of zucchini drowning in sauce with 4 tiny pieces of yellow squash. While zucchini is technically a summer squash, just say zucchini! Do not sit upstairs. If you must try this place sit downstairs or on the patio if Cool enough.

We celebrated my birthday at Hattaway's and had such a fantastic evening on the patio. The vibes were chill with a relaxed volume on the stereo. The food and drinks were delicious. I was pleased with the spirits offered and every plate was high quality. We got generous tuna crackers for an app, my beau had the steelhead and I ordered the chicken and grits. Chef's kiss, it'd be dangerous for me to live nearby because I could eat that chicken every day. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding as well as the butterscotch pudding - both perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The service was very friendly and unobtrusive. She gave us both some complimentary champagne to go with our desserts, on the house, for the birthday celebration. So nice! We had a great time and highly recommend coming to Hattaway's while in Walla Walla.

We had dinner at Hattaway's, our first time visit this past week on a Saturday evening. There were six of us celebrating my birthday. We were all blown away with the amazing service (Marissa was our server), seated at a table in the special wine room up front. It was so cool to be in that room and it just made the evening for us. The food was incredible - we all had the Halibut which was delicious and cooked perfectly! We also had the oysters on a half shell (exceptional) as well as the tomato salad and a few other sides. I can't express enough how much we enjoyed both the atmosphere of the special wine room and the food. Such a wonderful time and memory! Will definitely dine here again next time we are in Walla Walla.

Made advance dinner reservation here for our recent trip to Walla Walla. Ordered the celery salad as a starter. Mentioned that we were going to share it and the waitress had it plated separately without even asking - nice attention to detail. Had the Halibut with grits and Honey Glazed Pork Collar. Both dishes were delicious and well portioned. The service staff was attentive and professional.

Came for my birthday dinner and (as always) was completely blown away by how delicious the food was, as well as how wonderful the service was! Libby was our server, and she was great! We had pimento cheese, and it was delicious and a large serving. I ordered the tri tip gratin, and my partner ordered the scallops. We split the broccoli. Everything was absolutely scrumptious, and we cleared our plates. I tried their seasonal "them apples" drink, which is a twist on a Gimlet. My new favorite! The chocolate torte was a great way to end the meal. 100% recomend!

The four of us were seated in their Wine Room which is a private area with a table for up to 8, surrounded by beautiful bottles of wine. Our server was very attentive and provided helpful suggestions for food choices. The menu is eclectic for sure, with many interesting choices. The food was delicious, nicely presented with generous portions. It was expensive for sure - not for the budget minded. But it was a good value nevertheless.

I was not disappointed with taking my mother out for dinner. Omg the pickles, so good. We shared the smoked tuna dip, celery salad, she got the halibut cheeks, I got the duck with dirty rice, and bread pudding. All of it was amazing. The cocktails were lovely. Service was a beautiful flow of people genuinely glad to see us. Highly recommend this place, though reservations are recommended in advance as their bar area is not big for walk-ins.

The moment we walked into Walla Walla Steak House, we were blown away—the space is beautiful, and the steaks on the grill looked and smelled amazing! We immediately said to each other, “We have to come back for a full date night.” We grabbed seats at the bar and had fantastic drinks with warm, attentive service and great conversation with the bartender. We weren’t even at a table, yet felt completely welcomed and taken care of. Everything was going great—until the check arrived. We were surprised to see an unadvertised 20% “service charge” added to our bill. As far as we could tell, this charge wasn’t posted anywhere in the restaurant or listed on the menu. When we asked, we were told it goes to the staff and is intended to replace a tip—basically, the restaurant decided for us what the tip should be. And while the service was excellent and certainly worthy of 20%, tipping should be based on the guest’s experience, not a hidden mandate. This felt sneaky and left a bad taste in our mouths after what was otherwise a really lovely visit. Tipping culture is complicated, but this isn’t the solution. If your service is truly worth it, build it into your menu prices, pay your staff accordingly, and be transparent about your policies. Sadly, despite the great drinks and wonderful service, we won’t be coming back. The way this was handled just didn’t sit right with us.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary as well as my birthday. Our server, Haley, was absolutely fantastic. She made our evening absolutely perfect. She was funny, attentive and really fun. Our food was incredible, we were hosted a free dessert and went for the cherry jubilee which they flambé table-side and it was incredible. Could not have had a better experience!

Great experience!! Our server Matt was excellent! We came for our anniversary and they went above and beyond. This steakhouse is one of the best I have been to. Everything was cooked perfect. The steaks, lobster, W2 onion soup, wedge salad, appetizers, everything was very good!

The round of golf at Wine Valley Golf Club was sharp—clean swings, two birdies, and the rare clarity that comes only when the golf gods take a brief interest in your struggle. I walked off the course grinning like a madman, bones aching in the best way, with one thought pounding through my skull: Find bourbon. And that led me to Walla Walla Steak Co. Not for steak. Not yet. Just the bar. Just a drink. Enter Kimbo—not just a bartender, but a sorceress with a barspoon and a mission. She wasn’t pouring from a bottle and smiling politely. No—this woman crafted my Black Walnut Old Fashioned like it mattered. She made the simple syrup by hand, as if she’d harvested the sugar herself under a blood moon. Every element in that glass was alive, humming with precision and dark, syrupy soul. It hit like a velvet hammer. Rich, smoky, with walnut bitters winding through the bourbon like a snake in silk sheets. The sweetness was balanced on a knife’s edge—wholly civilized but still carrying the wild gleam of something that might bite back if you looked at it wrong. One drink. That’s all I needed. Didn’t even pretend to look at a menu. Kimbo had already handed me everything I came for. Five stars. No notes. Next time I’ll eat. But on this night, the drink was the meal, and Kimbo was the chef, priestess, and executioner all in one.

We were with friends enjoying your beautiful wine country and decided to try your resturant , We were seated promptly and the server was very nice and attentive. The meal was good not exceptional. When it came to the bill we were all shocked at the 20% service charge and a tip starting at 20% was expected. On our bill of $243.00 that is $97.20 in service fee and tip. Are you kidding? That is almost a thrid of the total. What gives you the right to automatically add a sevice fee with out being posted on menu or explained before ordering? For an additional $97.20 your resturant has to be the best ever which it was not. We visit your area frequently and will NEVER return.

The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic - especially the onion soup. The issue i have is the mandatory 20% "service charge". In reality, this is a forced, 20% tip. When the establishment has to provide a detailed explanation to explain the charge at the time the bill is presented that may be the first clue this may not be a good practice which is well received. Especially when the first mention of this service charge was at the time the bill was dropped off at the table. The food and service is wonderful, but when people ask me about my experience, this service charge is what gets discussed. Please look up the definition of gratuity. I have tipping culture fatigue. I truly believe it's my solely choice to determine the amount of a gift I will provide the server as a reward for the service I was provided.

Our foods were tasty and flavorful on a scale of 1 to 10, we definitely give it a perfect 10.

We go here all the time! But have never experienced service like we did! Our server Caroline was amazing. She was so attentive with us but more than that! She made us feel right at home. She was amazing with every guest we saw eating there, even tables that weren’t tables she was serving. We will be going back just because of how awesome she was. Good was incredible too!

Food was tasty here at the bar! Great atmosphere to get a drink with friends. My only issue with this place it that the female bartender accused me and my friends of calling her a (female dog), when our only interaction was when she asked what I had ordered and I told her what I wished to order. She then informed me that she just makes the drinks and doesn’t take orders. After that, a male bartender told us he wouldn’t serve us. Overall, I took it as a sign to not drink and this is a great place to hang with friends.

I really enjoyed this place! Good atmosphere, nice service and great pizza! I had the green machine pizza...delicious! My husband ordered a special one...delicious and, the Greek salad too was very good. This will be one I return to!

One of my all time favorite taverns, in Walla Walla, this place is like Cheers where everybody knows your name. Their food is off the hook, phenomenal, anything that you order you will be happy with, and they have a very large beer selection and cocktails. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. I suggest to make reservations as it can fill up during peak times very quickly!

Great food and people. It was one of the only places I could find open late on a wed night as I was passing through after showing clients mountain properties all day. So glad they were. Highly recommend fish and chips

We had a great server. But that's about all. I had a burger and it was dry and overcooked, it was not good. I will not comment on what my companion thought if thier food but if I were to order it I would have sent it back. The worst part were the cloud of flies inside the entrance and then bugging is at our table and on our food. it was miserable and could not wait to get out.

A True Walla Walla Gem Brasserie Four is hands down one of our favorite restaurants of all time. The steak frites are simply unbeatable—perfectly cooked steak paired with crisp, golden fries that keep us coming back. My husband and I cherish our date nights here; the atmosphere is warm, charming, and feels so quintessentially Walla Walla. But this place isn't just for romantic evenings. Whether you're catching up with a friend at the bar or enjoying the sunshine on the patio with a drink and fries, Brasserie Four delivers every time. One of our newest favorite things to do is sit out on the patio with our pup, soaking up the sun while enjoying delicious food and drinks. It’s such a joyful way to spend an afternoon. & The staff are fabulous—friendly, attentive, and always make us feel right at home. We feel so lucky to have this gem in our very town!

I love this place. The only place in town to get French food, but it is reasonably priced ($70 for 2) and very good. Service is excellent. Good wine selection and desserts. Good daily specials. The only downside is that it is noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

Great food with great service, the one issue you I had was, the BEST steak I ever had, now I’m in Texas where all they can do is SAY they make the best steak. Well worth a visit. Great food at reasonable prices.

I'm not sure which was better - the food, the outdoor seating, or the company. The latter consisted of a mix of locals as well as visitors to Walla Walla like myself. All of us agreed that Brasserie Four is one of the top restaurants in town. The seafood and even the house salad were amazing. The ambiance is elevated and quaint. The service was exceptional with friendly and attentive wait staff. Downtown Walla Walla - and its people - made this a wonderfully memorable trip.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon. Wine walk goin on. Got seated. No reservation. Prompt service. Very clean. Very polite. Waitress discussed menus and specials Chose some appetizers the cheese selection and the olives. Very nice. Cheese selection had a lot of different options. Very good. The olives were a mix. Seasoned and had a little orange zest in there which was nice. Got an entree. The steak frite. Steak and fries. Ordered med rare. More on the rare side than the medium. A little pepper we added. The black peppercorn sauce they served with it was amazing The fries were perfect. Absolutely done correctly. A little salt added. Simply put. It was an amazing meal. Had the best intentions of going somewhere else for more food later on. Did not need it. If you are coming to walla walla. Or you live near and haven’t been. I suggest it. Came back again. 4/20/24 Amazing Walla Walla day trip. Could not ask for better weather. Good was delicious as usual same meal ordered. Salad. Steak and fries. Came back on Friday 12/6/24 same meal. I would have given Brasserie Four 5 stars for food and service. Only reason for 1 less star is due to $30 corkage fee. I mistakenly thought a Walla Walla restaurant would support the local wine industry by offering a reasonable corkage fee (maybe $5-10?). Otherwise the appetizer, mussels & frites were amazing but 1/2 of our bill was the corkage fee. Our server Marissa was wonderful. Our fault for not asking the corkage fee before. So just be aware.

Cool atmosphere, we liked the shared countertop seating. The menu was fun. I really enjoyed the chicken wings. Our flatbread was delicious but really hard to eat. The toppings slid off every bite. We'd try something else next time. Small outdoor patio available that's dog-friendly but doesn't have much shade.

We were in Walla Walla for our 24th anniversary and decided to have dinner and drinks here as we have been previously and really liked it the first time. We ordered and got our food and drinks and then the server forgot we existed. Came back once about 10 minutes after we got food to ask if it was good and then never came back. We tried to get his attention multiple times. It wasn’t even very busy. He kept going outside. We finished our food and drinks and waited 30 minutes before I flagged down a different server for the check. She talked with him but he never came back to the table. We were not rude. I told him the food was good and my drink was good. He just ignored or forgot us. Pretty terrible anniversary dinner and we won’t be back. As we left there was only one table of people seated outside so I’m not sure why he spent all his time there. Disappointed overall that I chose this place for an important date.

Had a bacon burger, truffle fries and a craft beer from a local brewery. Food was delicious, service was impeccable — slightly bummed the burger was $19 and didn’t include a side, added bleu cheese crumbles for an additional $3… Came hungry and left happy, just wish they added a bit more value to the high prices. Truffle fries made the trip worth it though, must try if you haven’t!

Didn't enjoy the food at all, I'm not certain there was any cheese on the spinach artichoke grilled cheese sandwich and the bread was the heal pieces. Tried the Walla Walla Sweet onion rings and they were awful, so dry. The breading was not good. Might eat here again but totally avoid those.

Great burger. Great salad. Great beer and pretty good wine. Service was fantastic! I wish I could remember our server's name. He was really nice!

We stopped in for happy hour. Ordered a burger medium. Sadly, the burger was a little rarer than medium. Didn't eat much of my burger. My partner let the server know. I wasn't expecting much and planned to pay full price for what I didn't eat. The server took it to the manager or lead. He picked through my food and must have said only compt half. Without an apology, we were brought our ticket we paid, left a tip, and left with no thank you. Not exactly, great s Customer Service. We were just a little disappointed.

We had a lovely time sitting in the dog-friendly garden area. There are picnic tables and umbrellas. They had Locust ciders for those that don't drink beer. They also had a Mexican food truck onsite. It's a very chill, casual vibe. We'd visit again

Stopped here in the evening late summer. We enjoyed a few cold ones on the backyard patio area. Beer selection was great, we were happy with the diverse options. The best part was the relaxing mood walking around the perimeter with all the flowers while the sun was setting. A picturesque place!

We loved the “build your own flight” option! It was amazing to try a lot of their beers before committing to a pint. The space itself was very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so accommodating and had amazing recommendations for the rest of our visit! We loved enjoying all their beers and also made a note that their bathroom accommodates changing a baby and a potty training toddler! This is a super family friendly space!

This place is very special to me and my friends. This place is very warm inviting and pleasant to enjoy a relaxing view and some really good brews. Don't cheat yourself treat yourself and this place is a great way to treat yourself to a great time n friendly faces! THANK YOU QB!

Just what we needed! great selection of beers on tap. a brewery that is willing to collaborate with local home brewers because they have been home brewers for a long time. the tap house has a great selection and seating to throw a few pints back while enjoying the view of the Blue mountains from the outdoor patio..

Beware! The food truck outside of Quirk gave all 4 of us a raging case of food poisoning. None of us had eaten anything prior to the “Mexican” food that truck serves, so it was 100% that truck.

This was a fun place. Located just over half a mile from the Walla Walla Airpot. Their beer was good. Sampled their IPA and pale ale, both were great and decided to go with the Control Tower Pale Ale. Indoor and outdoor seating with a really comfortable feel. Bartender behind the counter was knowledgable and friendly. Also, they have a food truck with great Mexican food options. Even provided complimentary happy hour chips and salsa. If you are in Walla Walla, WA, give them a visit.

Great breakfast, great service, way too expensive. The food is good, our server was top notch. The restaurant does not have good acoustics, it is very loud. First breakfast... the food is very good and service excellent. I totally recommend it and the value is good given the location. Dinner... actually good food. But way over priced. I had to try the $89 rib eye steak thinking that they may have something special. Well nope. Don't get me wrong, it was a good steak, but nothing special. For that price I expect a top of the line cut similar to an upscale steakhouse. The fresh pasta was good but at $36, it was way overpriced. Our server was very special and she made sure everything within her power was to our satisfaction. All in all, the owners are doing the same thing as with the hotel. Hiring great staff and probably burning them out while trying to collect on their investment.

The Seared Scallops were amazing—served in a puree of fennel, thinly sliced radish, citrus beurre blanc and toasted hazelnut. I had the freakishly delicious Buttermilk Cured Chicken and the Pesto Agnolotti at our table and Lamb were big hits too!

The restaurant area is absolutely stunning! The server we had was really sweet & extremely attentive to all our needs. She had answers to all our foodie questions & made sure we enjoyed our food! The fries were some of the best fries i’ve had & their focaccia was absolutely incredible! The dessert was freshly baked & beautifully plated! Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful & delicious date night!

Mojito was pretty good, food was good not great, for breakfast i had eggs Benedict...the hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon, the egg was basically hard boiled and the cook is heavy handed with the salt, I was expecting a little better...taste your food before you send it out next time.

Beautiful inside. Funky staff, obsessed with " rules". A wedding group decided to meet here for breakfast day after wedding, beginning at 9:30 am. Many of wedding party and guests stayed at this pretty pricey hotel. We didn't. But we arrived before others did and sat at table for 8. Staff asked us multiple times how many would be joining us. I said more than number of chairs at this table. They didn't accept that and kept asking nervously. I kept insisting they had nothing to worry about. Soon 6 others joined me and my husband to fill the table. It was very strange. Food was decent, but over priced with smallish servings. Other than the fun of being with wedding party, this breakfast place was really unpleasant with their pressuring us about use of table and overpried food. Also, several people staying there were not pleased with the hotel, given the $400 a night plus price tag and what they perceived as being overrated. You have been forewarned.

We had a 7:30 reservation, arrived 5 minutes early and were told we would have a long wait to be seated despite the reservation. Offered the bar and sent on our own to find a seat with a caveat to return to the front if we were unable to find a seat. Food was bland, took a long time and served cold. Service was horrible, 20 minutes to receive a glass of their featured wine, 40 minutes for dinner. Definitely not what I expected from this iconic property

Quite easily one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Our wait staff were kind and accommodating. The food presentation and taste were both out of this world. We ended up going back the next night since the menu looked better than close by offerings. We both tried new flavor combinations which made the experience even more exciting. I highly recommend this place, and would drive up just for the dinner alone. Props to the Marc staff and thank you for an amazing experience.

Have had drinks or eaten here many times. Always have a great experience!! The servers are attentive and kind. The bartenders are always top notch and very knowledgeable, always ready to make whatever drink without any issues. It’s not a review unless you mention their wings, it’s in the name so you know they have that perfected. Overall just a solid establishment that is a favorite of ours.

First time here, was seated right away. Very good menu selection as well as a big draft list. Settled on the Wingman Wrap and a cider. The wrap was delicious and you choose your sauce on it. The list of sauces is large. I chose the bbq bourbon sauce and it was perfect! Our server was just the right amount of attention without being over attentive. What I can say, the fries are the best part. Definitely order those. Overall, a win for Walla Walla!

This place is SOLID! One of the best chicken joints I’ve been too personally. The environment is hip full of all ages. Cocktails were creative and tasty, we had the blackberry whiskey smash & hot honey peach margarita. For meals we got a bowl their cheeseburger soup, some tenders & the wingman wrap. I like the idea of choosing your sauce to customize to your tastebuds. Our waitress Roseamirah was excellent, attentive, and always smiled. Can’t wait to come back!

Alright, slow start in getting drinks. All right service gal was courteous and helpful. Bread pudding was all right, pretzel good., definitely not the dip., just not my favorite. Definitely going back to try other things. Mixed drinks were great. Good variety of beer. Price of drinks were reasonable. That was the highlight. Drinks.

We were visiting for my husband's 55 WA-HI reunion, came over to Wingman because my friend Jill shares your cute videos on FB. We ordered the chicken and waffles, the waitress brought us an extra syrup and said that it had a little bit of heat added to it, oh my, it was just a hint and the perfect amount, such a great flavor. It came with fries or tater tots which is what we got, they were so good with the fry sauce. If I was to order this again I would much rather have 2 waffles and no fries, just a suggestion. We sat outside and the heat felt so good on my back, our hostess and waitress were so sweet and kept checking on usonWe will be thinking and talking about this dish for a long time.

Good, but mostly for its location. It has typical bar food and beer and is close to Whitman College, so it caters to the younger crowd and is more affordable than the upscale restaurants in the winery blocks. That also means it’s busier, and service can be slow. Not bad at all, just nothing to write home about.

I have been ordering wingman for years. Not sure what happened tonight. Ordered a 5 piece of lemon garlic and a 10 piece of spicy bbq / garlic rub + sweet potato fries. Total $80.00. There is no meat on the wings. Just bone and friend breading. Spent $80 for an extemely disappointing meal. Wings have no meat so when cooked they just taste burnt. I usually don’t complain , but this was frustrating and a huge waste of money. Won’t even eat them. Photos attached.

During my application process, I experienced unwavering support from Whitman’s community, especially from the current students who played a key role in helping me make my decision. As an international student, I discovered a wealth of resources that eased my transition and made me feel at home. The CCEC has been especially instrumental in guiding me toward opportunities for personal and professional growth. At Whitman, I’ve always felt recognized and included as an individual, making it truly feel like a second home.

Okay college, not worth the price tag. The academic part is great since the classes are small and they hire great professors. However, I did attend other university after I graduate, and I honestly don't feel a difference. College life is a meh. You get to do a lot of outdoor stuffs. As for Greek life and drinking/partying, you might as well go to a big city for university. In conclusion, for this price tag, go to an Ivy League. Your local state university will do the same.

I am a current student (class of 2024). I think Whitman has been affordable and given me a high quality education. As a fin-aid/Pell Grant student, Whitman was around the same as my state university (Maine) with higher quality of education. I'm graduating soon with debt way below the national average. Downtown is super close to campus and I can easily walk for coffee, the the bookstore, or to any number of fantastic restaurants. There are tons of events on campus every week, from guest speakers to concerts. There's a club for anything as well. Our campus newspaper, the Whitman Wire, is awesome. I never feel bored. Plus, classes keep me very occupied. Whitman doesn't tend to do busy work. Classes are usually discussion based with an emphasis on writing and speaking. Essays and class discussion posts are a regular occurrence. Professors are very accessible, office hours are required for all instructors. I've been able to get to know my advisor and department very well over the past four years. Campus culture is open and friendly. People hold doors and wave hello to each other between classes. It's easy to meet new people. I've found great life-long friends. Some parties on the weekend but there isn't pressure to go. There of plenty of people more like me who'd rather do something more casual or not drink as often. People here work-hard and really care about doing well, but it's not cut-throat or uber competitive. I'm super grateful for all the support Whitman has given me and I feel prepared to do well post-grad.

Whitman is a fantastic liberal arts school with the best professors, small class sizes, a beautiful campus and buildings, and it's in a gorgeous area. As a bonus, Whitman sends many students to top graduate programs in the world in many different fields! My time at Whitman was highlighted by my close relationships with my professors, chances to do scientific research on campus, and the many excellent friendships and connections I made during my time there. I can't recommend Whitman enough as a college to both learn about the world and yourself. Do yourself a favor and seriously consider Whitman as an option for college.

My Whitman degree prepared me for graduate work at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a rewarding career in the civil service. Whitman has very high academic standards and students cooperate to graduate. Access to professors is superb and the student body is bright and hard working. Most students play intramural sports and take advantage of the Outing Program which sponsors outdoor events all over the Pacific Northwest. If you’re looking for an academic challenge with top-notch graduate prospects and a tight-knit and friendly student body, Whitman should be on your short list.

My education and experiences during my time at Whitman were truly life changing. Whitman's innovative Semester in the West program taught me to challenge my own bias and assumptions, to seek out opposing views, to respect diversity of thought, to see the nuances in life and people, and to strive for compromise. Through Whitman's incredibly well run off-campus studies program, I was able to study "Sustainability in Europe" in Copenhagen, Denmark right beside the European Union's environment agency headquarters. While back in Walla Walla, I also had the privilege of taking Bob Carson's environmental field studies course which exposed me to local rural environmental issues in a deeply meaningful way. As a result of my Whitman education, I am committed to doing all I can to 'translate these local, regional, and global experiences into an ethical and meaningful life of purpose." I was truly inspired to read the news about Whitman's new commitment to divest from fossil duels and to bolster their investments in renewable energy and sustainably minded companies. I had the worst school experiences of my life at this college. People were very mean and judgemental and the school itself is overpriced and overrated. You pay around the same tuition as you would pay for Harvard or Yale with about as much distinction as you would get from most accredited colleges. I ended up getting a BS at Capella University for a fraction of the cost of one year's tuition at Whitman College. If you're concerned with Greek life and drinking, then Whitman College is for you, but if you're concerned with getting your money's worth from a university, then avoid Whitman college at all costs.

What an amazing experience having lunch at Marcy's on Sunday 6/29/2025. Both the Cubano Panini and Turkey Roundtable Sandwich were SPOT ON. The meat on the Cubano was so flavorful and tender, the BBQ sauce was perfect! The turkey sandwich was so good as well. I really enjoyed the cheese on top!! Fries and Salads were really good too! the SMAK Summer rose was a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. Lastly but not least STEPHANE our server was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be returning!!

wonderful outside area. lots of room. They had music when we were there, which was super nice. We ordered the wrapped dates which were dry and not very appetizing. salad was wonderful.

We had a large group and sat outside so I'm not sure what the inside "atmosphere" is like, but the patio was great with clean tables & chairs (you don't always get that with outdoor seating). The food and drinks were delicious and our server (John boy) was wonderful! It was a special occasion, and I appreciate that he was so kind and accommodating, adding to the joy of our day. Will definitely be back!

We were told to "sit anywhere" by a server who noticed us immediately. We picked a spot to sit and menus were handed to us. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. I had the lamb hash which was so good! My companion enjoyed the pancakes that came with berries and such on top. Didn't need the syrup. It was a lovely experience and the food was excellent. I definitely recommend. I also had a mimosa and both of us had coffee ☕️. They brewed fresh decaf coffee for us.

I've been contemplating leaving a review. Only because, I love to frequent at this place but not after this. I recently had "Girls Night ". It was a group ladies and our lavender men. My favorite place to frequent at when I was younger was Marcys. As a group, we decided to go because like i said, I love Marcys. The incident that went down left me speechless. Idc if you have issues with a former ex, don't come and make a scene. Especially when your a current employee and I didnt know if you were on clock or not. But, aggressively screaming at my friend ( I can vouch for the fact nothing negative was said, kept it cordial) and screaming your not allowed at this establishment was inappropriate. We were there as paying customers and like I said having girls night. Then, another paying customer saw this employee screaming at my friend and told him to please stop...well this employee also went into this customer's face, started screaming at him and threatening him! Im dumbfounded how this manager allows this type of behavior at his place of buisness! Some server came out and broke it up and took the employee back inside. To say the least, I won't ever be going back. Such behavior is unacceptable and regardless if ur on or off the clock why would behave that way at your place of work?

Great service. Food is chef made worthy. I’d advise anyone in the area to eat here. Erica and David were amazing, we had them separate nights and want to say kudos to them both! Came back both nights of our time in Walla Walla and can’t wait to come back next year for our anniversary again! We definitely will come to Marcy’s!

Food was great & the beer was cold... Why 2 ⭐⭐ you may wonder... The service just sucked plain and simple. Maybe and this is a huge maybe, but maybe each waitress/bartender didn't take their ADD medicine 🤔. I'd be half way into ordering a beer then squirrel, and her attention was gone. I'd be starting to order food a little later, someone would walk in(squirrel) and then I'd have to wait several more minutes till I could finish my order... Food gets finished, and it is almost in my hands... Then someone else, a local I'm guessing, and then I have to wait for their conversation to be done before I get my food....

Kelsey the waitress was wonderful and very friendly. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered the fish and chips. I swapped out for tots. The tots were crispy and cooked just right. The fish was under cooked and seemed doughy.

They make the best French fries I have ever eaten, crunchy yet not over cooked. Servers were friendly and fast. We had burgers which were delicious. The place was filled with a nice mix of young and old.

Little loud for my taste, but still an atmosphere where you can talk. Went with a couple of friends and ended up running into more friends there. We were comfortably seated with 5+ people. The service was good even for as busy as it was. The big dog burger looked good, but I went with it's poultry based sibling: The Mother Clucker with hot honey sauce. It was so good, and I would also strongly recommend the "cactus fries".

Tried the gizzards for the first time, and man were they tasty. Jad just the right crunch,soft and not so greasy. You do get your money's worth. Stone hit my new go to for gizzards

Food's great, decent priced, and well it's a bar, so bar atmosphere... but I like to come in and grab a Happy Hour special and skip cooking dinner once in a while... you won't go broke doing it. Good for a casual sit down meal too.

Arrived for dinner and find the place pretty crowded, but only 2 servers working. Took a long time to get our drink orders taken and even longer to get the orders served. Waiting for our food order now and it’s taking forever! Unacceptable! Things need to change or I’m not coming back! Maybe a little more attention to detail from Management is in order!

Not too aggressive, not too timid. Just right. Like the Goldilocks of beer if she grew up listening to Queens of the Stone Age. The staff? Friendly, fast, and on it without hovering. The vibe? Old brick, good tunes, patio breeze—ideal for everything from post-wine-tasting detox to a laid-back solo writing session. The food? Solid, crave-worthy, no-frills tavern fare to back up the brews. Big House doesn’t scream for your attention—it earns it. If you’re rolling through Walla Walla, don’t sleep on this place. Especially that hoppy lager. Excellent food here. I've had a few different burgers and they were all amazing. I recommend the tots with the Cajun spice or whatever they put on there. Delicious. The appetizers are good too. Service was fast each time I went.

Great bar food! The crispy chicken club was SO good! And the fried pickles, and the drink selection....

The food here is pretty good. The fries were some of the best I've ever had, crispy on the outside and creamy inside like a croquet. The burger was a little too pink for my taste and greasy but tasted good. The biggest food negative was the bun, it was a wimpy chibata that just fell apart and stuck in your teeth like eating wonder bread. There were two servers and they seemed overwhelmed. The beer was pretty good.

Fish and chips were great. Chicken sandwich was okay. Servers were friendly, but busy so we were overlooked at times.

Went in for beer and fries. Beer good fries meh and service poor. Might have been better if we were ordering more. No one waiter actually served us, we had four. Had to stop three of them to get what we needed. It was dead so being busy was not the reason for the poor service.

Yikes. What a disaster eating at BHBP. The minute we walked in, it smelled like grease that hadn't been changed in awhile. We were seated instantly by a sweet hostess/server. However, after that things went downhill. It started with a sticky table. Easy fix. We, then, ordered food. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. We ended up waiting for our food (2 hamburger and 1/2 order of nachos) for 55 minutes. Our hostess apologized twice. When our food finally arrived, the nachos were cold, the burgers and tots lukewarm, at best. We decided we didn't dare risk sending our food back and wait another 55 minutes. The server said she would take 50% off both the burgers- amazing! But, when she ran our card, she ran everything for full price. Oh! And did I mention that I saw servers mixing drinks and trying them with a straw before serving them, or spooning out a cherry from a drink, eating it, and then putting a new cherry in the drink before serving it? Guys, needless to say, we will not be back.

Excellent wines. Third time. Good wine-snack options—from charcuterie to Marcona almonds. Friendly, attentive service. Industrial deceptively simple décor—like if Nirvana and Zeplin made a tasting room together. On this third visit (fresh snow), we stopped by late Friday afternoon. Sat at the bar. I did the "Burgundy Glass" flight (Chardonnay focused—new convert here). My husband did the "Little Italy" flight (his favorite House of Smith reds). Our host, Derek, brought out several more wines—each with a good Charles Smith story. Left with a bulging box of wine. 'Til next time!

A bit disappointing. I'm a fan of their Syrah and was excited to see such a long list of wines. I appreciate the inventiveness of Mr. Smith, but with experimentation, you get some misses which is how I would describe his flight of whites. Almost undrinkable.The SEX Rose was good. The reds were better but not great. Fortunately our server was spot on in her favorites. So many better options to choose from in Walla Walla.

Our favorite tasting room downtown. Really cool space, converted auto garage. The wine was delicious. The beautiful and super knowledgeable steward DINA made our wine experience at House of Smith's very enjoyable and enlightening. She share lots on interesting info, but didn't hover and let us enjoy our time there. Great music. Highly recommend.

This was SUCH an amazing experience!! Kelly was phenomenal, the wine is perfect, approachable, reasonably priced, and just amazing. The atmosphere is down to earth, and enjoyable. Wow, I'm incredibly impressed, 10/10 recommend

Came for a wedding weekend event and had a good time. The space was inviting and the charcuterie board was well balanced. Overall we enjoyed our wine flight enough to grab a couple bottles for our Airbnb.

House of Smith is always one of our favorite places to visit in Walla Walla. The wines never fail to deliver and they have a selection that covers nearly every wine drinkers style.

Having booked months ago for a party of 8 and informed via email from Kelly that it would be $30 per person, we were updated by Major that it would be $50 per tasting, refundable with $99 per person spend. He also informed us there would be an automatic 20% gratuity per taster. We were not enthused at spending $500 for 8 of us to taste 5 wines and decided to hit the road. Unfortunate. Great looking spot and excited to taste there. Two other people tasting on a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Love this place! Family friendly, pet friendly, and great beer - what more could you ask for? They always have a good food truck when I’m there on the weekends too! My work schedule doesn’t allow it now but I also go to trivia on Thursdays which was a blast! The crew is always so friendly and happy to help you figure out what beer you might want to try. If you’re looking for a new hangout - this is it. Stay late enough for sunset and you’ll get a gorgeous view from outside!

Walla Walla - it's not just about the wine! We found Burwood Brewing when looking for a Harvest Host (RVing) location. Not only did we fine an exceptional, private site for the night, but some fabulous beer! We fully embraced the atmosphere and enjoyed their dog-friendly patio area with their Fang and Joose IPA's and will definitely be back soon. Bonus points for having stellar service!

I love this place so so much! The atmosphere is chill and the patio is gorgeous! The staff is so much fun and attentive. But the best is the beer!! Yum yum give me some!

World-class dining experience. We had the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings for each course. Neither disappointed. Every course was very good, and some were really excellent (especially the perfectly seared scallop with a perfect sauce to accompany it). The wine with each course paired very well, and were all interesting in the best way. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was really nice. This place well deserves the 5 star rating.

Nestled in a beautiful historic brick building, Kinglet does not disappoint. The menu changes regularly as they offer fresh/local ingredients. I’ve been here twice for brunch and both times were delicious. I’m gluten free and there was no issue catering to certain dietary needs if notified in advance. My favorite dish was the handmade yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. It has a kick of heat at the end and at first thought I was eating butter (it’s so creamy and delicious). Huevos rancheros were solid.

Best dining experience I have ever had! I have nothing but positive things to say about Kinglet. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine, had great personality, and the atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10 recommended doing the chef's tasting menu.

We stopped in shortly after they began the Winter 2023 tasting menu, which consists of 7 courses and paired wine tastings (additional charge). Chef Kevin, Alex, and Michael all helped make our experience one to remember for a lifetime. We sat at the Chef's Table, which allowed us to watch as they made each delectable course. All of the flavors were married harmoniously, alongside perfect textures and temperatures of each item. The creativity of each dish really shines, even in unexpected places. For example, I've had bread and I've had steak, but /this/ particular roll and /this/ particular steak (alongside the sauces) were seriously drool-worthy, and it wasn't even my favorite part of the meal! I'd love to come back the next time I'm in Walla Walla.

Exceptional dining experience. We sat at the bar with Kalani and the food, drinks and hospitality were world class. Don't miss the scallops and steak, and make sure you get dessert! You can't go wrong here!

GO EAT HERE. Stop what you’re doing and make a reservation. I’ll wait. Now that you’re back, consider the menu. It has a lot of influence from cuisines around the world. Ethiopian inspired kitfo tartare - so soft and savory with little minced preserved apples! The injera they made into little chips - interesting take on it. Try all their canapés - we got a “churro” that was more like a little hush puppy pocket of aged chees goodness with a cute fuzzy cheese fur and lime over. Their wagyu beef tenderloin was insanely good - medium rare - and the chicken we found out is super fresh - processed only 4 hours prior to arrival to the restaurant. Drinks were good too. Pro tip: if you sit at the bar, there’s less of a wait. If you ask for June, you’ll have a grand ol’ time. I can’t wait to try all their food and experience the chef table!

Quite possibly the best meal out that I’ve had in a very long time. We couldn’t decide so we ordered every Canapé on the menu to try. I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single bite was beautifully presented and delicious. The Waldorf salad had a dreamy blue cheese mousse and the potato gnocchi melted in my mouth. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and enjoyed it, especially the frosting! The menu is creative, the presentation is gorgeous and the food is exquisite. The restaurant space is wide open and a little loud, but the lack of intimacy is easily overlooked. I highly recommend this restaurant over and over again.

This place was amazing! Great selection of beer, cider, and wine.. and a great outdoor patio. We got the specialty pizza and the Brussels sprouts. Delicious! Thank you! ☺️

Good food. Pizzas are great. Tacos are delicious. Appetizers are large as well. Haven't had anything i didn't like. There's seasonal options, as well as specials. Tap wall has good selection, including ciders and sometimes sangria. Mixed drinks also available. Atmosphere is nice. There's also hats, shirts, sweatshirts for purchase with cool logo designs.

We go here on occasion and always have a decent experience. Tonight we had Logan as our server and she was exceptionally great! Checked on us often, was very pleasant, and had a really great attitude. Servers like her are why we return to certain restaurants frequently. The food here is good as well if you want pizza and burgers. We really enjoy the beer and cider selections on tap.

The Pizza is really good, if you can get it at lunch special you get amazing value. The tap card is super cool, pick your beer, cider or mimosa, pay by the ounce. Sample then buy. They encourage you to get a new, refrigerated glass each time. Will be sampling more of the menu but damn that pizza was good!

Just thought I would share but went in and was advised 5 dollar pizzas. I was told after receiving and eating pizza that total was 68 dollars and that was after I asked about their advertised price of 5 dollars, the original was 75 dollars. I am very disappointed and feel as if I was robbed. Because the manager was within ear shot of every conversation we had with the server and nothing was said to us, so we assumed that nothing changed from what we were told. I wish we heard something before the bill, so something could have been worked out. Unfortunately we are from out of town and won’t be able to stop through again but I hope nothing happens to future travelers. P.S. pizza was good just slightly over cooked and very over priced.

We showed up with a busload. Jenna was the only server on duty. She rocked! Food was great. Belly buster was awesome. The pickled peppers do not have too much heat. Come here!

FANTASTIC! Loved this unique taphouse with a “self-serve” option! Ambiance was fun, with both in-door and out-door seating (we enjoyed sitting outside). Menu had a wide range of options. HINT: get the flash fried jalapeños. Above all, delightful and engaging service. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful afternoon. You made these newbies feel right at home!

It's personally one of my favorite places to go for cider in town. There's a good variety of seasonal flavors at a decent price. There's also a couple of tables with Nintendo games to play with whoever you come with along with a ping pong table in the back as well, all for free to play. If you have kids, they're also kid friendly with a kids area with toys as well.

This place is awesome! There were some Nintendo game consoles for the kids (and adults), building blocks and ping pong tables, to occupy themselves with. I'm not usually into cider, but the Chai Cider was great and might make me reconsider. I highly recommend it. This is a great place to stop by for a drink. Even if you have some kids in tow.

I love this place! The customer service will sell you right from the start! The selections were fantastic and even had a beer option for those who do not like ciders. Their atmosphere is perfect for friendly fun inside or outside.

The cider options were excellent for an 80 degree Saturday afternoon. The flatbread pizza (The Yukon) was delicious and paired well with my flight of ciders! The music was great and went with the vibes. The gentleman working was really nice and all over the place! Kudos to him and how exceptional customer service. I will be back and with all my North Idaho cider loving friends! Cheers!

100% would recommend! The service was super good! Informative, quick, and extremely friendly. The Cider selection is great, you can mix and match all of them in a taster flight. They also have a beer selection for those that aren't so much into cider. I read they offer food, but we just went for drinks. They are kid friendly, so bring the family. :)

Stopped here memorial weekend with my husband and two young kids after a winery before going back to our hotel. The man behind the counter was very friendly and so helpful making sure we had everything for the kids to be comfortable. There was even a little tot corner w a padded mat and some toys for littles to get their wiggles out. I got a flight of the core ciders and all were good! Peach was my favorite. My husband had two pints of dryer selections and he liked his too. Good place, good vibe, and good ciders! Thank you for being so family friendly

This little market is a hidden gem. Sure it's got some knickknacks, and typical small market supplies. The real treat is the small dinner inside. I don't think I had a single bad item from their menu. Carne asada fries, soaps, and burritos were always plentiful and tasty.

We stopped here to get lunch and a big t-bone steak for the grill. The atmosphere here is cool. The service was friendly. The lunch was delicious! (Empanadas, sopas, a ham and cheese panini, and a quesadilla.) Can't wait to grill the steak tonight.

The best asada fries in town ❤️ Super sweet people! If you haven't been here yet and browsing for a night in, definitely order from here. My husband and I ordered from here yesterday and I ordered here for my co-worker and I today. Baked potato is a must ❤️

Cheerful, efficient service, yummy Mexican food and an interesting variety of market goods, including some Mexican candies and drinks. We got our tacos, flautas, empanada and tamale to go, but there was plenty of seating inside as well. We met the owner, Jeff, on the way out and enjoyed our conversation with him.

I ordered a burrito with beans, rice, cheese, chicken, and asada. I took a couple of bites and realized it only had chicken and rice. It wasn't good. I told the cashier, and instead of owning up to the mistake and telling them to make me another, she told the cook that I already ate some as if I was trying to get a free meal. The cashier assumed I had x-ray vision and should have known it wasn't right before taking a bite. Never going back.

If you haven't tried Quesabihrra tacos before this is the place to try for certain. A picture is worth a thousand words, but words can't describe how good it is. Very friendly staff, plenty of seating, and quick service.

There are so many amazing items here, but my favorite is definitely the shrimp ceviche.

I've never been a big microbrew beer fan until I visited water buffalo brewery. Great distinctive flavors that everyone needs to try. I will be back

The directions took us to a home? WTH

Just went for drinks. We had another place planned for dinner so did not eat there. But when you first walk in you are welcomed by the smokey aroma of BBQ. WOW what a powerful invitation to consume food. Looking at the menu we surely will be back to have a meal. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The array of custom cocktails is vast and the home grown distilled liquor was very appealing. Worth it just for the spirits and BBQ.

In town for a basketball camp and decided to stop in for dinner. While our server was incredibly sweet, Cedar Rain Spirits is easily the most disgusting place I’ve ever eaten (not even exaggerating). The nachos looked like they had poop on top (zoom in the photo) and tasted even worse. The tri-tip was shaved so razor thin, our 10-year-old said, “Is this ham?” Gross. Gross. Gross. As for the interior itself and the restrooms, they both need to be in dipped in hot water and bleach. Like, FILTHY. How does this place pass health food inspections? DO NOT EAT HERE. UTTER WASTE OF MONEY, and so many other options in downtown Walla Walla.

The Bloody Mary (with sweet onion vodka - $4 up-charge, per drink) was okay, however, the chips & trio dip was not good nor worth $16. They served old guacamole that wasn’t edible, jarred salsa, & jarred queso. $56 (over $60 after a tip) for 2 bloody Mary’s & an overpriced, crappy appetizer weren’t worth it. I honestly wouldn’t recommend & won’t be back.

Where do I even begin?! After a long road trip 8/14), we decided to push a little further and make our way to Walla Walla and wow, are we glad we did. After reading rave reviews and obsessing over food pics, we landed on Cider Rain Spirits. Full disclosure: that Google photo of the Tri-Tip Salad sealed the deal for me! The moment we walked in, the vibe was on point. The staff? Absolute rockstars. Friendly, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. We instantly knew we hit the jackpot. We got seated right away, cold water was brought over (blessed, because it was HOT), and they even had a fan pointed our way, five-star service! Then came the drinks. We ordered the Lavender Whiskey, and let me tell you, it was dangerously good. Smooth, fragrant, and hard to put down. And then…the food. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was speechless. That Tri-Tip Salad? I’d eat it every day for the rest of my life. Perfectly smoked tri-tip, crisp greens, it was a flavor explosion. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, out came the Brisket Nachos. What. A. Dish. Loaded, delicious, and completely devoured. Oh and the Texas Twinkly? I still don’t know what kind of magic that was, but sign me up for a dozen. This place didn’t just serve us a meal, it gave us an experience. Out of all the places we’ve visited on our travels, this one left us completely blown away. We will absolutely, without a doubt, be back.

Okay, this was probably some of the worst food I've ever had. REWIND - we were wine tasting all day, and wanted to plan our dinner spot when we got back into Walla Walla. EVERY. SINGLE. SERVER. at EVERY winery we asked about Cedar Rain, advised us not to go. Well, this just fueled our fire that we needed to try it. Big mistake. The waitress was nice, and kind, until she told us they were out of baked potatoes. That was the only reason I wanted to come in. A big ole baked potato with all the toppings. Ugh. I was heartbroken. She promised us, the mac and cheese was amazing and she offered to add all the baker toppings to help. This sounded like an okay plan. What I got was a plate of soggggggggggy over cooked, or sat in water too long penne noodles with some terrible "cheese" sauce. Yes, she had added the extra toppings, but check out the picture...it looked terrible. The surprising part was that when we got our bill, she had charged me $1-$3 for every topping that she offered to include since they were out of the food I wanted. I would seriously avoid. This place has NO character, really weird old tables and chairs, and honestly pretty bad food. There are way better options in town.

Super awesome! Brisket tacos were amazing. Bri is the absolute sweetest server! Great attitude, provided options without being pushy. This is now our “go to” for great food, service and drinks. Sorry no pictures the food was too good! The pics would have been of an empty plate! Isn’t that the highest compliment anyway? Y’all should check this out!

The prime rib was a very high quality piece of meat seasoned very well. One of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Service was excellent. Our server did a great job and handled all our requests perfectly. Drinks tasted great too!!
