In September, we visited this pastry chain on a recommendation from my Italian friend. We tried the pasticciotto (cream tradizionale), and though we don’t have a big sweet tooth, it was delicious. Definitely worth trying at least once!
OMG I dont even know where to start. The puccia with mozarella, dried tomatoes and wallnut was very very good. Pistachio pasticcioni was so amazing, it was fully filled with pistachio cream and very crunchy, simpy astonishing. Gelato is very cheap, very big and delicious. And the cherry on top is the nicest service imaginable, must visit place!!
We tried their gelato- pistachio & puccia vegetarian. Both were absolutely delicious.
Staff was trying their best to explain us though they didn’t know English- so they were accommodative and were very welcoming.

WORST EVER! Avoid this place! I threw my ice cream away at the nearest bin outside the shop, which I never thought would happen in Italy. Ice cream is literally frozen water with colorants. It melts completely in less than 1 minute, you need to sip it if there is anything left. Incredibly bad. I cannot believe the 5 star reviews, I would give it -5 if I could.
Real gelato, great flavors and also good pastries
The worst gelato I have had in the entirety of Italy. The gelato was icy and did not have a creamy texture. The pistachio was particularly bad, which is usually the hallmark of a good gelato place.
The ice cream was decent. I got the stracciatella and caffè. I came around 5pm and there was a rush. They were able to manage the rush pretty well. And the lady who served me was nice enough to setup the credit card machine even if she initially motioned for cash. They were quick but not rude. She took the time to ask me if I wanted 2 flavors instead of just one. The tables outside were clean and there was always someone who wiped it with disinfectant in between customers.

This was in Alberobello. Not as busy as Bari but just as wonderful with Granitas and Gelati. The gelatos are open and piled high not the new way of hiding them under lids.
I travel a lot and tried many gelatos in different places. This store has average gelatos, for from the best, and not the worst. Their waffle cone however, is pretty bad, neither crunchy nor fresh-made.

Only had the gelato here. It was average tasting. Servers appeared to be having a bad day as were rude and unpleasant, which we found surprising for such a touristy place.
As earlier stated by previous commenters, this is an absolute scum cafe designed specifically to trap the tourist. Nothing was anything near to the quality of an average Italian cafe.
Gelato and Caffè Leccese were nothing special. I had to wait for a long time for the coffee after I paid, asking numerous members of staff to make it. Then a very rude young lad argued I couldn't take it outside, where my family were sat, already finished their drinks and gelato.

Very, very, very rude, to everyone in the restaurant. There are 3 employees standing at the door, one takes orders, one delivers, and one just stands there being the boss and rude to customers. We ordered Americanos, which already cost extra just for the water (€3 each), and when we asked for a little extra hot water they added another euro to the bill. Uncalled for greed. Everywhere else in Italy they've been fair and welcoming....but not here.

I was in the Bar 'Dulcis' after watching sunrise in Alberobello for traditional italian breakfast with cornetto and cafe and can definitelly recommed this place 👍

I only had a coffee and a biscuit at this place however it is by far the nicest biscuit I have had in Italy (amaretto biscuit). It was also nice because I knew that they had been handmade as you can see someone making through a window. As Well in the garden there was really nice scenery to enjoy whilst you ate. The staff where friendly and it was overall really cheap.

I’ve had more pleasant interactions with parking meter attendants. If this is their idea of hospitality, it’s a joke—and not a funny one.
You’re made to wait when it’s convenient for them, but the second you sit down, they’re laser-focused—on getting you to pay.
I’ve had smoother, more thoughtful service from a vending machine. This is not how you run a business.
coffee was good, panna cotta was great, but too small unfortunately. we also got panzerotti and it probably wasn't the best place to try them the first time, because they didn't wow us in any way. they were fine as a cheesy fast food snack, but the tomato part of them was probably just the color. the staff was super nice tho :)
This place was an absolute disaster. Prices were extremely high — a small tiramisu for €6.50, beer for €5.50, and coffee for €2.50. None of the food had price tags, and the staff were very unpleasant when asked how much things cost. Overall, the service was inappropriate and unfriendly. But that’s not all — the toilets were disgusting: unisex, smelly, and dirty. I would never come here again in my life.
We had coffee and hot chocolate, and after the rain, it felt great to be somewhere cozy. We missed our bus, but they were incredibly helpful — good people and great coffee ♥️
