Dylan's Menai Bridge is a modern waterfront restaurant offering stunning views of the Menai Strait and the iconic Menai Suspension Bridge. The restaurant specializes in seafood, particularly fresh Welsh mussels prepared with cream and cider. With a boatyard theme that complements its waterside location, Dylan's menu features locally sourced seafood and seasonal produce from the surrounding fields and hills.
Loved this place. Very popular place. Open plan kitchen. Service and decor is nice. Lovely food. Great views overlooking the menai straights. They sell their own delicatessen like sauces and chutneys. Not a cheap place but worth every penny.

Really glad we came here for dinner. Gemma, our waitress was really nice and attentive. She looked after us really well. Rang up the day before hoping for a table of 8 with 2 dogs and they were really nice and were able to accommodate us at such short notice. The mussels are a must! I would highly recommend this place.
Chanel H — Google review
Food here was first class- everything was so fresh and we loved the local products used throughout the menu. View was great and service was brilliant too. I will definitely be visiting the other restaurants soon!
Lizzie K — Google review
Seafood chowder was delicious. Muscle was a must have item. Seafood in general was great. Meat was slightly above average. Service was very good. The restaurant offered a surprise to my son. It’s his birthday night. So sweet!
Francis L — Google review
We sat upstairs and the view is fantastic as was the food. We had the calamari, lamb on hashbrown to start followed by seafood linguine and king prawns. Couldn't fault the food. The only thing I can fault was that we weren't greeted as we entered the restaurant. We had to wait a while until someone spoke to us but apart from that our experience was fantastic. Visit you won't be disappointed.
Hello M — Google review
Had a great meal here with my sister while visiting the area. My sister is allergic to shellfish and the staff were right on top of her menu choices - really great to see. I had the mussels (even though this is a “wrong” month for eating them) and they were divine - I haven’t had anything even close to them in terms of taste since Iived in Normandy. We were really pleased to be given a table in the patio area, which had great views of the water.
Laura J — Google review
Best to book a table online as it’s always really busy. Worth the wait though because the food is delicious and the views are stunning. The outdoor patio area is definitely the best way to capture the panoramic views and smell the salty sea breeze.
Anna P — Google review
Amazing food, beautifully presented but whilst the staff were nice enough, the service was slow and they clearly didn't have enough people on to deal with the amount of walk ins they accepted. Location is fab, terrace has a stunning view (but you will be fighting off sea gulls!) But the staff need a more experienced manager (or one on shift!) to organise them.

Catch 22 Brasserie is a cosy and relaxed restaurant with an international flavour focussed seasonal menu. They recently launched a new menu with some excellent vegan and vegetarian options. The food is made from scratch and the service is wonderful.
Breakfast this morning was so delicious that we couldn’t resist popping back for dinner & we are so glad that we did as the food was mouth-wateringly good. We highly recommend a visit to all foodies as the chefs put their heart and souls into every bite!! Thank you Ellie you are such a lovely lady & it was a pleasure chatting to you.

Read about this place online, sounded well worth a visit so booked a table the day before. Arrived and seated quickly, ordered drinks and food. Food was fantastic! No complaints whatsoever. And the snickers trifle has to be the best desert I've ever had!!!
Matthew W — Google review
Really nice staff, kindly moved us upstairs where it was a little more quiet. Service was pretty quick even on a busy Saturday evening. We were pretty much left on our own, the staff checked in once or twice but we didn’t feel bothered by them like in some places. We ordered some nachos for starter and then the seafood platter for two. The portion was so big we could not finish it and ended up taking a lot of it with us but it was absolutely delicious!
Natalia P — Google review
Hadn’t made a reservation but they found us a table very quickly. Myself and my wife were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience we received by the friendly staff. Service was excellent. Drinks arrived so quickly even though the place was very busy followed by our main, and what a main it was absolutely fantastic so tasty with proper roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings and gravy. We had a two course a main and a pudding,I suggest other so called pubs and restaurants locally call in there quietly and see how it done

We had a wonderful Sunday roast, traditional yet modernised. Many vegetarian options (including a really original and tasty vegetarian roast). Good ales. Welcoming staff. A very pleasant place.

Catch 22 is a really cool and friendly place. A very imaginative selection of dishes and a good vegan menu too. It has a kind of Scandi vibe decor, and a very friendly team. Highly recommend for a visit if you’re on Anglesey.

Fine dining restaurant
Sosban and The Old Butchers Restaurant is a renowned dining establishment in Wales, offering elevated British cuisine within the unique setting of a historical butcher shop. The restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients to create surprise tasting menus that have earned them four AA rosettes and a Michelin star. Despite its popularity, securing a table at Sosban can be challenging due to high demand, but the exceptional food and service make it well worth the wait.
Having tried on and off for 8 years to get in to Sosban, a stroke of luck had us finding a booking the day after my birthday. It did not disappoint - a tiny venue with space for 12 across three tables, our sitting had 8 (4, 2 & 2). Incredibly intimate, as the experience begun with the chef, Stephen talking us through the various beverage options all personally curated & selected. Not a menu in sight. The way the evening is curated, with mind-blowing food throughout, will blow you away. If you're lucky enough to get a table, make sure to go! Sustainable cooking, mind bending flavours & ingredients, friendly staff - it has it all.
Morgan W — Google review
Very enjoyable evening with engaging staff. Chef very knowledgeable and passionate about his food and wine, giving background to each course and advice on the wine to accompany. A gem of a restaurant on the high street.
Jayne L — Google review
This was the second time we ate here, and it certainly won’t be the last. As this outstanding restaurant uses seasonal produce we intend on going back later in the year. I have never eaten food like this; in fact it’s more like an explosion of all your senses rather than eating food - a truly extraordinary experience. As this is a fixed menu, where all the diners enjoy the experience together, it’s quite a unique evening. Stephen, the head chef and owner, who clearly has one of the most well defined palate’s along with the knowledge of science behind food and food prep, greets you with an overview of the evening to come. You can see each course being prepped at the pass and Stephen explains the reasons, the ingredients and the process of each course along with the paired wines. His knowledge is extensive and skills are insanely honed! Real nice guy too. It was an absolute joy to be part of such culinary experience within such cool surroundings. The food is the best I’ve tasted anywhere in the world and the journey he takes you on just blows your mind and your senses. Kasabian as the soundtrack was a stroke of genius! Service was consistently attentive and what a cool environment! If you ever eat at one fine dining restaurant in your life, let it be this one.
Stephen S — Google review
I should imagine it’s not fine finding if you don’t know what you’re having. I can’t seem to find any menus 👀. If you’re going to charge people £175* for small food samples please include what they are going to be eating so people won’t diss like them. I’m assuming once cooked and not knowing what you’re going to have may result in people not liking it or eating it all. I also assume probably a fact that you wouldn’t give the money/refund back from the booking if people don’t like the food as they can’t see a menu to prepare from 👀 We have found another lovely restaurant that’s cheaper yet offer fantastic food choices. Unfortunately you might have been a hit and good review if there was a menu supported before paying a big deposit/price for the “food” you offer. Without seeing the food it’s a weird mystery and to much at price on the line for not knowing what food you will get. (Your online website is complicated and don’t show a menu) In business simple is sometimes better off.
J B — Google review
An absolutely top notch evening. No menu & no particular wine list, just enjoy everything. Just 8 covers when we dined there which makes for an intimate dining experience.
Andrew H — Google review
Food extraordinary, but not in a good way. Service attentive. Booked this restaurant because it had received rave reviews, unfortunately, 2 of my guests found it difficult to eat most of the food served. So much so that I decided we couldn’t face any more of these tastings and had to leave the restaurant. We had already paid £294 as a deposit for four and I offered to pay a further £500. The chef (owner) refused this offer and insisted that we pay £1000 in total! I paid this amount under aggressive duress from the chef and his partner. Hugely disappointing.
Geoff R — Google review
Fantastic 1 star Michelin restaurant. Extremely attentive service with first class food. Booking essential. A 'hidden' tasting menu where you are told what each course is as you get It. (Ring ahead if you have any intolerances etc) The food is out of this world. Unusual food combinations at times which work so very well. Highly recommended
Sarah T — Google review
This was the weirdest experience at a Michelin restaurant I've ever had. I must say that the food itself was phenomenal but everything else was just off. A huge pet peeve of mine is a lack of price transparency. We save hard to be able to afford such experiences and we should be granted with the ability to choose the price of our wine. There was no wine list and no pricing, just a recommendation by the head chef which I think is jarring and pretentious. It's such a tiny restaurant which could be intimate and warm but instead the atmosphere was awkward and quiet. The head chef tried to encourage diners to approach the pass and chat throughout plating but it all feels performative and the diners feel like we're inconveniencing him. I did however enjoy the story he told with each course. Then we move onto the waiter. I keep repeating how awkward the whole experience was. The waiter had no interpersonal skills and no gift of the gab. He repeated the same closed questions to each table of diners and spoke so quietly we had to ask him to repeat himself so many times. If we ate too slowly he would hover. He was not attentive with drinks orders. However he did keep on coming to the table to move around the wine and water glasses on the table, constantly and unnecessarily moving them from where I'd set them down with my right hand over to the left hand side. I felt as if I was getting in his way. After finishing, paying the bill felt rushed and there was no desire to hang about and enjoy a night cap in such a weird atmosphere. Such a shame that the service and atmosphere were so weird as the food was a delight.

The Tavern on the Bay is a contemporary seaside tavern that offers a range of delicious food. It was originally constructed as a marine cottage in 1924 and has since become one of the top dining spots in Anglesey. Recently, it underwent an impressive renovation worth £700,000, resulting in an exquisite and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The establishment provides breathtaking views of Red Wharf and Benllech Beach, creating a serene atmosphere to unwind while admiring the surroundings.
We came here just as it opened for lunch. They managed to fit us in despite it being fully booked an hour later. The service was excellent and the food was lovely. No complaints. The view is exceptional here. Probably it’s biggest asset. I’d advise booking to be sure of a space. A seafood and chilli linguine would have been a great addition to the menu. Great staff, great food and great location.

What a fantastic place. Didn't have food, just drinks when we arrived. The views! No words to describe other than wow! Lovely raised areas to take in the outstanding scenery. Going back for food this time

Highly recommend to book - we couldn't get an evening slot so went late lunch time. Food was great for all seven of us. There's a gin and fizz hut outside with great seating and epic views. Access to the beach, a play area and a ice cream hut! A definite must if visiting the area!
Hayley S — Google review
We had the lamb which was cooked to perfection as were the vegetables and the crushed potatoes, the profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding were also delicious for desert, it's a high end gastro pub in style so don't mind paying a little bit more and treating yourself to a delightful meal every now and then
Ryan D — Google review
Just had a Sunday roast here. It was served hot and cooked well, with good flavour overall. Personally, I felt the portion of meat could have been more generous, and the roast potatoes were a bit disappointing—just one large one cut in half. The Yorkshire pudding was overcooked and lacked substance. The service was good, and the views are fantastic, but the piano music was quite loud, making conversation difficult if you're seated nearby. Overall, not a bad Sunday roast in a lovely location.

Pro: Friendly staff, excellent food, served quickly. Great views over the bay Con: Background music was too loud

Sea Shanty Cafe is a charming breakfast spot located in a coastal town, offering a delightful dining experience. The cafe's interior resembles the inside of an old ship, adding to its unique charm. It is known for serving delicious breakfast options such as eggs benedict and hearty bacon butties. Additionally, the cafe is praised for its friendly and helpful staff, making it a dog-friendly establishment with fast and attentive service.
Beautiful restaurant right by the sea. Perfect for a meal after a lovely walk along the sea front. The restaurant was stunning with sea theme related decor. Huge space and felt very welcoming. The food was delicious, fresh and well presented. Our waitress accommodated to my specific dietary requirements without any hesitation. Recommended the restaurant to a lady who stopped us in the car park and asked if we knew anywhere good to eat!
Melanie F — Google review
I was expecting this cafe & bar to be a typical seaside venue. I was so wrong. The food here is really top quality, presented to a high standard. The service is excellent. We only had small meals, but I would definitely consider returning for a larger plate of perhaps their seafood options. This is not a cheap cafe, so the prices reflect the high quality of produce.
Stephen G — Google review
Dropped in to the Sea Shanty for a quick drink before hitting the beach. Parking is beside the Sea Shanty great location for this fine establishment. Staff are super friendly and helpful, we didn't dine but looking at the food that was being brought out I would say it looked awesome. Beach is a stones throw from here. The bay is beautiful with a lovely sandy beach. We'll worth a visit to this fabulous part of Anglesey. We will definitely be returning to this lovely bay.
Michael C — Google review
Lovely place to eat, right on the sea front with a big pay and display car park right next door! Lots of seating in here, nice log fire for when it’s chilly, dogs are welcome in here, loved the sea theme and the fishing forecast broadcast in the toilets! Lovely menu choices, with V / GF as well, alcoholic drinks and cocktails as well. We had the fillet steak sandwich and it was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service, it was busy here and it was out of peak season, can imagine how busy it would be in the summer! There is also an ice cream kiosk at the front of the restaurant. Would definitely come back here.
Claire C — Google review
I’ve lived in the UK for a year, and this was the best meal I’ve had here! The seafood pasta was packed with crab, scallops, and mussels – full of flavour and delicious. The steak sandwich was also absolutely amazing! It’s a shame I couldn’t finish the chips. The interior was lovely – it felt like being in a theme park. I highly recommend this place!
Saya — Google review
I was told this is the best place in the area, and I can absolutely believe that is the case. In fact it's amazing that such a place exists in this location. We thought the food and the service were both excellent. Especially the Ramen and the Goat Curry. We also had local beer from Conway brewery. They have booths, which I like anyway, but these had a porthole that had a video of the sea which we thought was cool. The Music was really good if a bit too loud. My only criticism is that the table near us had several huge dogs that should not have been allowed inside a restaurant. I was told they don't let them in after six, but even so. There's plenty of tables, but I'd still recommend booking.

We didn't make a reservation so they could only seat us at 1+pm which wasn't a problem. We just walked along the promenade to build up an appetite! So four hungry people ordered a crab & lobster sandwich, a seafood bisque with homemade spicy rum infusion, a hamburger and a haddock fish and chips. The bisque was great especially with the spiced rum. And the owner seeing is so taken with it, poured an extra tot off the run first is two taste neat! Very nice! The fish and chips were great as well. The fish was very fresh and the chips were extra crispy. The other set of chips were kind of fat so less crispy and needed ketchup 😁 The other two dishes were good but not as memorable as the bisque and fish. The dishes were large as well and we had to give up on dessert and coffee! Will definitely return, this time with a reservation!

I’ve have been a couple of times with my daughter. The staff are very attentive and the food is delicious. We had the pancakes which my daughter loved! Then I also came on a Sunday and tried their amazing roast dinners - would highly recommend.

The food was nice and the location is lovely, especially if you sit outside in the sunshine. Dog friendly too if you have dogs. We visited in the late afternoon midweek, so it was quiet. Had to rate the service lower because we were sat waiting for 20 minutes to be served, then when we did ask were told they'd be over but then were still waiting, so in total it took 30 minutes just to order a drink! Once we ordered, food arrived quick but would have been nice to have offered sauces etc. We went inside to pay the bill rather than waiting as others seemed to and it was quicker. So I'd say lovely food and great location, but the service wasn't great - so just keep that in mind!
Louise C — Google review
Feels like a family-run restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe. Dog-friendly, which is always a plus. I had the seafood linguine – it was tasty, and the scallops were fresh. However, the mussels had quite a bit of sand in them, which was a bit off-putting. That said, overall still a place I'd recommend.

Brilliant little place to have light lunch. We visited this place two days in a row as I was so impressed with the buckwheat pancake with smoked salmon! We had breakfast in surf cafe at 9am but came here for lunch. Not many tables inside but the food is lovely prepared and served quickly.

The cafe serves all-day breakfasts, burgers, tea, coffee, cakes, ice cream, and drinks including wine and Welsh beers. Visitors can enjoy traditional Welsh bread flavored with tea called bara brith.
Awesome place to visit while exploring the local area, such a cool vibe inside with surfboard and campervans, a big range of ice creams to choose from, plus milkshakes, and cocktails, and alcoholic milkshakes! Doggy ice cream for sale too, and they have a shop area with mostly toys and a few souvenirs, gin flavoured Jam. Plenty of seating inside and big outside garden with a lovely view, toilets were also available. Staff were very welcoming, and dogs are allowed inside, too. The lighthouse is literally 5 mins from here. Lots of parking available.

Wow wow wow - did i say wow? Deeeeeelicious, we had a breakfast and a cup of tea. I can say that it was the best tasting, best quality, best portion amount that I have had in years. What a magical wonderful place the cafe is set in too - absolutely breath taking - come to this place and wonder in the beauty. Establishments these days seem to serve the minimum (one egg one sausage one bacon) and have the cheek to call it a full English- they should call it a half English 😆. Well the breakfast that Phil the chef and guy who runs the pilot cafe cooked to perfection was outstanding. Everyone at the cafe are super friendly and very very welcoming - 5 stars are not enough and I can't reccomend the Pilot House enough - a real gem in a spot of outstanding beauty ❤️

A lovely little cafe in a great location. Popped in for a coffee and some cake which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome.

Great lunchtime food. We had two kids meals - Sausage and chips, Pizza and chips. Adults had loaded chips - one bacon and the other crispy chicken. All of the food was great for a family like ours.

Great place. I received a flyer at the Menai Bridge Food Fair and I was pleased with our visit. Nice Sunny and windy day . Fresh sea air and great food . Thank you.
Howard J — Google review
Stopped in on my walk hoping for a light lunch. It was busy despite being midweek, but the staff were friendly and cheerful. Unfortunately the menu doesn't offer sandwiches or typical lunch items, more focused on pizza and burgers. The wait was much, much longer than I expected considering I only ordered nachos, think I was waiting half an hour or more. The food was good and plenty of it, but I was slightly disappointed by the choice of entirely disposable crockery (tin foil bowl) and cutlery (wooden) when eating in. Seems very wasteful.

Great pizza with gluten free base available. Many gluten free and vegan menu items. Cakes are delicious and the views are outstanding.

Lovely cafe. Great views. We came up 2x. Once for the view and breakfast. The 2nd to get our toddlers toilet we left out 🫣. Owners were very helpful and we had a joke about its little adventure.

Blueberries is a charming and cozy cafe with a homey atmosphere. The small space may not be ideal for those who are claustrophobic, but the friendly staff and delicious homemade cakes make it a delightful spot to visit. The cafe offers a variety of sweet treats, including tantalizing Victoria sponge cake, coffee and walnut cake, and delightful cupcakes. Visitors can also enjoy great coffee and breakfast options in this clean and welcoming establishment with ample parking.
Considering we brought two coaches full of students to the town of Amlwch, the ladies running the cafe handled it brilliantly. The shop was calm and quiet, we suddenly filled it with a lot of our passengers. As you can imagine, this sudden rush caused some stress yet they still handled it very smoothly and every one of us received good service and nice food. *Note to self*, give businesses advanced notice that you will be flooding their store with customers 📝

Stumbled across this lovely cafe today. Fantastic food, and great choice of homemade cakes. I recommend the lemon meringue and the blueberry, lemon and white chocolate cake. Excellent value for money and very friendly, welcoming staff. Highly recommend a visit.

A charming roadside cafe that impressed us. The scone, tuna-cheese sandwich and pie, cranberry with pear a bit weird but, were delicious, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Altogether, a lovely spot worth stopping by.

Nice little dog-friendly cafe with friendly staff and customers. We popped in for breakfast and enjoyed a tasty (and very generous) bacon , sausage and egg roll. Good cup of coffee too. And some free parking for customers.

Great food, generous portions and lovely homemade salad. Service was good despite a busy lunch rush and short staffed. Definitely recommend, indoor seating and out, wish I’d had a cake!

Lovely cafe, really good prices for food that is very high quality. Huge chunks of chicken, and two big slices of bacon on the panini. Salad that you actually want to eat, even with a blueberry in aha. Absolutely stuffed toasties, filling meals. Lovely place will be stopping, again.

Red Boat Beaumaris is a must-visit spot offering delicious gelato in Beaumaris. The place offers a huge selection of deeply flavored specialties, making it the best ice cream spot in town. Visitors can enjoy their ice cream while strolling through the arch opposite to the seafront. Additionally, Red Boat Beaumaris is known for its excellent customer service, especially for accommodating customers with Coeliac Disease by providing gluten-free cones and taking measures to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
Specialist coffee and excellent ice cream! A real highlight on the high street. Excellent coffee which is hard to come by in Beaumaris. They have over 150 flavours of ice cream too which was fantastic. We saw them making fresh sandwiches too but we didn’t try them. They looked very nice though. Really clean interior and run by people who clearly care.

Fantastic ice cream shop. We had the Raspberry and Lemon, Chocolate Flake, and Sea Buckthorn flavours and they were all delicious so I can only assume that any flavour you get will be awesome as well. You need to go here.
The T — Google review
Visited for an ice cream and then decided on waffle for a change. It was rather delicious. They have lots of flavours and could do with a list as the shop is quite small with an entrance and an exit and some tightly squeezed in seats and tables, which means you haven't seen all the flavours on offer before you order.
Mark F — Google review
Probably the best ice cream for miles, imo. On a busy day folks are queuing down the street but today Beaumaris was unusually quiet (due to bridge closure) and we didn't have a wait to be served. Tasty, creamy and plenty of it (I had a two scoop serving). We've queued in the past because it's worth the wait!

Proper gelato ice cream. I had the lemon drizzle cake flavour and would definitely recommend it. It had the base pieces swirled throughout. The waffle cone was really nice too, tasty and crispy 😋

called in today 4th July. Delicious ice cream but I wish they would always have on the Vegan Hazelnut, in my opinion it is the best, however, not very often there. Today I had the raspberry, husband had the strawberry and a pecan one, within moments of leaving the shop we suffered a seagull attach and both were gone, husband was gutted I wasn't bothered but would have fought off the gull for the Hazelnut one. Perhaps next time it will be in stock

Bakery
Central Bakery, located in Beaumaris, has been a beloved establishment since 1892. This traditional bakery is known for its artisan breads, homemade pies, and traditional pasties. Visitors can indulge in cream cakes, homemade sausage rolls, and freshly baked sourdough. The bakery is a hidden gem that's popular among locals and visitors alike. It's recommended to arrive early to get the freshest selection of baked goods or take advantage of bundled deals towards closing time.
Probably the best shop in Beaumaris - this bakery has something for everyone : artisan breads, homemade pies, pasties and old school buns. They even do a bacon butty served on the freshest baps known to mankind. It’s just off the main road so easily missed. Only a stones throw away from the old Beaumaris gaol. As I sit back in my rented cottage feasting on my bakery bounty like a pig rolling in it’s own shyte it cannot be denied that this world is now a better place than that which the forgotten souls of Beaumaris gaol once inhabited.

Pur favourite bakery. The bread and cake selection is amazing. The almond slices are the best ive ever tasted. Definitely recommend
Claire M — Google review
Came here late in the afternoon the other day as we were in the area and fancied a pasty or pie. Only cold ones left which is fair enough, not their fault we were so late in the day. Baught an egg mayo sandwich instead which was not the best to be honest, just very bland. Baught some cakes for later, I got a Tiffin which was OK and a Salted Caramel slice which tasted off and I had to spit out and throw in the bin. Husband got a lemon tart and a couple of other things which he says were nothing special. Most of the staff were nice but overall our visit was dissapointing considering the great reviews, we had high hopes for the food and were not overly impressed!

An amazing selection of ice cream flavours. Not the cheapest but so much tastier than what you get from ice cream vans/kiosks and it's literally a few minutes walk from the beach so it's definitely worth the extra walk and extra money for good ice cream. Simply the best ! And most exciting experience for my two little boys ! They absolutely loved choosing from all of the amazing flavours and cones ! Really delicious ! Sadly like many ice cream makers they have changed their recipe and method to give the look of generous portions but it now melts faster than you can eat it. It's a shame because the flavours are great.

Delicious ice cream. Great service. Lovely views. What more can you ask for?
Sarah G — Google review
That was a painful experience watching a young girl try and get ice cream out of the tub and put it on a cone! Ended up with not a lot of ice cream which promptly melted when got outside and expensive For this price I’m expecting a better experience, with a consistent cone size! Won’t be going again. Try sea shanty for a proper ice cream.
Steven D — Google review
Dirty, smelly premises of unrinsed mop and dishcloth. The girl serving ice cream couldn't see a biscoff crumb scoop in the plastic container but found one on the back kitchen table. She shook it then wiped it dry on her tee shirt FGS! It was a boiling hot day and she had been wearing that all day! How they get a 5 star rating from the food hygiene agency is beyond me to be honest. It should be closed down for health reasons. Other people witnessed this and left without buying anything. Gross!

Nestled just a short walk from the castle, Red Boat Ice Cream Shop is a must-visit destination for anyone with a sweet tooth while in Anglesey. This charming shop offers an impressive selection of award-winning gelato made right on-site, with flavors that frequently change to keep things exciting. Some standout options include Biscoff, Jelly Baby, and the delightful Ginger Nut.
Brilliant little shop ,great choice of locally made ice cream, friendly staff who served our ice cream with a smile. Bara birth ice cream....a revelation absolutely amazing best flavour ever especially matched with my second favourite flavour mango sorbet. Our group also had lemon & raspberry meringue & mint chocolate chip, a vegan choice as well as other flavours. They did great looking milkshakes as well.

So disappointed, came all the way here, paid parking and they said they're closed. Who closes ice cream shop so early? We were here 4:30pm and already closed? Bit early in my opinion, how can one make money closing so soon? Additionally an business suggestion please add info about your opening hours so people don't waste time coming.

What a let down, visited on a sunny Thursday got to their "shop" about 11:30 and it was closed. Not a sign up anywhere to say when might be open or any idea where else in the village might stock their products.... So went to somewhere that was open😞😞😞

Safe to say the best ice cream I've ever had. The lemon ice cream was so tart and lovely 🍋 Boy behind the counter was really nice
Holly T — Google review
Lovely little ice cream shop, little being the key word. You can only fit one customer in at a time, which isn’t easy when you’re trying to get little children to choose a flavour and you can’t all fit it. If they had the flavours on a chalk board outside or on the wall behind the desk it would be really helpful. Also £3.50 for one scoop in a tub is quite expensive… but, lovely ice cream nonetheless.
Hattie P — Google review
DO NOT BUY THE MILKSHAKES. We went today to get ice cream but one of my kids fancied a milkshake. First of all sooooo over priced, bloody £4.50 for a small cup of whizzed up icecream. It came with no straw and you could only pick out of 5 icecream flavours !!!!!! Aswell, in the milkshake there was a hair. Even though this has been a bad experience the service was amazing Recommend to NOT buy milkshakes from here !
