Good gelato place but not much different than other gelato shops. Felt the price was maybe a bit higher than others. Had the salty caramel and vanilla which were both delicious. Comfortable place to sit and enjoy some gelato. Service was good.

The pistachio is a must-get. Seems to be this place’s specialty. I tried the hot cross bun special guest flavour which on first taste was just like the real thing 1 but every spoonful thereafter was sickly sweet. I’d stick to what you know when ordering from swoon. Definitely a must-go in Bristol.

GORGEOUS Gelato. Pistachio was incredible, really intense. We also had a mango sorbet and it was almost like eating a sweet ripe mango. Quite nice and comfortable inside too. A more fancy interior than you would expect from most Gelato places.

Struan and Louisa have been very helpful as usual. Struan prepared our special occasion cake very nicely! We love dark choc sorbet, all icecream cakes, lemon and basil when it’s available and surely pistachio and vanilla…

Lovely and rich ice cream - one of my favourite gelato shops. Plenty of indoor seating, and a wide range of flavours with a changing guest flavour.

Some of the best Gelato I've ever had. Loved the Hazelnut and the cherry cheesecake together. Sorbets tasted great too, really refreshing. Love the fact it's open late so you can visit for some ice cream after being at a gig at the O2 Academy. Visited with my 3yo over the weekend and was blown away by the experience. The shop looks very stylish and upper class and he gelato selection is quite generous. We picked a raspberry sorbet and one of the hazelnut variations, and both were absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, give it a try. You won't regret it.

Mrs Potts’ used to make my favourite carrot cake. It was £4.75 and would come with all the chocolate toppings. There were thick layers of cake and was good value for the price. A slice of the carrot cake now costs £6.50 and does not include any toppings. The chocolate drizzle comes at an extra cost of £2. The size of the slice and the sponges has become smaller. Although it tastes nice, the quality and quantity have both gone down and charging almost £9 for a slice of cake is extortionate.

Mrs Potts has been a favourite of mine for years with its amazing cakes and cute atmosphere. Every time I go in I love the cakes and brownies as well as the drinks but sadly it has got so expensive that I only go once a year now. I am very pleased that you no longer have to pay for chocolate drizzle but with a coffee and slice of cake costing £11 it’s hard to justify regular visits. Nevertheless the staff are always lovely and the food is incredible.

Mrs Potts Chocolate House is easily accessible. The cafe itself is decorated with warm lights and is pleasing to the eyes. It’s popular in the area and it gets very busy as well. There are few seats and you have to check if people are done so you can take over their table. (4 stars for this) Food wise it was scrumptious. We ordered their salted caramel pretzel cupcake and their chocolate cake (I forgot the name) without the drizzle. Both were fabulous. As for the cupcake, there was a perfect balance from the cake to the icing and to the pretzel. There was a crunch when you bit it in the cake was moist and it was flavourful. The chocolate cake on the other hand was also tasty! Velvety touch when you bite into it and the flavour is there. We also ordered there Earl Grey tea and a coffee which were a perfect pair for the sweet deserts we ordered.

Cosy café where you can get all things chocolate. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Brownie Sundae"! The atmosphere was relaxed, the only negative was the noise, it wasn't overly crowded but still a bit noisier than I like.

I have been going for many years, and have visited Bristol, Bath & Cardiff. The staff have always been friendly. But they have completely out-priced me - I paid over £6 for a cookie that seemed smaller than usual. The white chocolate in the middle didn’t taste as flavorful as previous visits. I think high prices and smaller portions mean I won’t return.

The dessert was amazing. Looking forward to try something else from this place again.

My partner and I went there for the chocolate workshop and absolutely loved it. Sounds like a lot of money but totally worth it, for what you get, it is amazing. Would certainly go back. Thank you to all the staff to make it memorable! Also, everything we ate was superb!

So lucky to live close to Anna's - they do the most delicious filled cookies I've ever had. The pecan praline one has the tastiest buttercream filling I have ever tried! The macarons are amazing: always melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and they taste exactly like their descriptions. Always struggle to just pick one when I go in. My partner treated me to a miniature cake for my birthday. Not only was it so much bigger than I expected, it was beautifully decorated and so tasty. Can't wait for more excuses to try their other cake flavours. This is my go-to place for a little treat, and I'll be devastated if you ever leave your Whapping Wharf location

I saw Anna's cookies on the Hairy Bikers recently and so I ordered the gift box of 4 cookies for my son and daughter in law for their 1 month wedding anniversary. They were delivered on time as promised and my son said they were packaged beautifully. He said they were huge and tasted gorgeous. I actually want to visit Bristol now just to go to the shop. We have been gifted a box of your amazing Classic Chunky Cookies and they are absolutely delicious. What is not to love! For my wife’s 60th birthday, I looked at lots places in Bristol for cakes. Anna’s was not the cheapest, or most expensive. The service was good - another place didn’t return my call - and the people were friendly. And the cakes were superb

Ahh Toots is one of those little cake shops that instantly makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The building itself has that old-school charm, all cozy corners and slightly creaky floors, though I’ll admit it does get a bit cramped when it’s busy. Despite the tight space, the staff make up for it completely. They were so friendly and easy to chat to, really made the visit feel personal. I tried the chocolate caramel ganache cookie and wow, it was a real treat. The chocolate was rich but not overpowering, and the caramel oozed just enough to give it a gooey, indulgent center. Every bite had that perfect balance of sweet and slightly bitter chocolate with the smooth, buttery caramel, really hitting that comfort food spot. On the other hand, the sprinkle caramel shortbread was a letdown. It was hard to bite into and, unfortunately, lacked any real flavor. The caramel didn’t shine at all, and the texture made it feel a bit dry and lifeless. It’s a shame because I had high hopes, but at least the cookie more than made up for it. Overall, it’s a charming spot with some hits and misses, but chatting with the staff and enjoying a stellar cookie makes it worth a visit.

Popped in for the first time today just after 2pm. Heard so many great reviews on social media and my daughter really wanted to go here. Ahh Toots did not disappoint. Such an amazing choice of cakes. It was like Christmas came early. The chocolate Guinness cake was devine and my daughter loved the Jammie Dodger blondie. The staff were so friendly & smiley. Although a small venue it was cute & quaint in an oldie worldie atmosphere. Watching people looking in the window with their faces lit up at the display was fab. Definitely will be back and will recommend.

Lovely, cosy spot. Came here after a 2 hour walk. The staff were so welcoming. The food has a lovely range, including some unique cakes and drinks.

Tiny Cafe in a historic old building: note there are only 12 covers in the seating area, which is up a step. So one has to rely on take-away sometimes as seating is limited. Good choice of baked goods. The Staff are exceptionally pleasant and friendly. (Card payment only)

I have come here twice, first time was amazing, second time amazing too but there was a mishap with a dish. I won't get into that because I don't think it was their fault, but I want to say, after buying the cake and not being able to eat it, they asked if I would like something else to compensate (essentially a free item from the bakery). I asked for one little almond biscuit, but I recieved a plate and a bag to take them home with! It was an incredibly sweet interaction. They care for their customers a lot here and I'm excited to purchase more little almond biscuits when I next stop by! Thanks for the lovely food and warm atmosphere!

Ahh Toots created our vegan wedding cakes, for our wedding at Blackfriars Priory on 23rd October. Tam was always so lovely to deal with and completely understood what we wanted, they had so many options and flavours and it was amazing to see so much choice for vegans! The cake looked incredible and tasted even better, we had many non vegan guests who said it was the best cake they ever had, and even though we had double the amount of portions for guests, a lot of it went that evening! We couldn't be happier, and it was a real highlight of the evening, thank you Tam + Ahh Toots team

Bruh, the prices here are insanely expensive now. They’re acting like tariffs have been attacking the waffle industry or something. I ordered the chocolate waffle with ice cream, and the waffle came out lukewarm and stale. It felt like it had been left on the countertop for a good few minutes, as the ice cream was already melting by the time the waiter handed it over. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump showed up claiming ice cream parlours need tariffs to protect American sprinkles. Probably won’t be coming back here any time soon.

Just another ice cream shop where the ice cream tastes like… ice cream. Nothing special. Nowhere near the taste of real milk-based ice cream you get in non-chain places. Service was so-so. One lady couldn’t even answer a simple question about a cookie, which was a bit disappointing.

The two South Asian males working here on 8th June 2025 were warm to children, chilled, friendly and professional. They topped up our ice cream with extra sauce.., something where a place like this elsewhere would charge and make a big thing about it. They handled a big group of guys who were being drama.. with class. The crepe was wonderful and different (savoury). Toilet was clean. It's been awhile since I've been impressed with things like this..

We went there on Bank Holiday Monday around 10.30 and it was very quite. We had hot fudge sundae and it was delicious. Also the strawberry and banana waffle was good.

Brought the mango bubble drink as the one in London was so good but here in Bristol what a waste of money seriously it was filled to the max with just ice. I had to come home and manually remove the ice and bubbles separately. So disappointed

2025: It’s an okay experience with okay taste desserts. 2023: We were really craving something sweet so we ended up passing by Creams Cafe. The staff were kind, the service was quick, and the portions were definitely enough! Quality was good. Everything tasted great.

A little difficult to find from the train station but take the steep stairs to the left of the taxi stand - you will not be disappointed! Fantastic flavours and texture - the cheddar, mustard and sesame croissant was exquisite, crisp on the outside and soft inside. Carrot cake was equally good, beautiful texture and the perfect balance of sweetness. Staff were great, sped up my order as I was in a rush for a train. Lovely spot, I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Hart’s!

I think pretty much everything i've had from harts has been excellent. The sausage rolls are great if you're hungry they will definitely fill you up as the fillings are huge. Its a great bakery. The only area they could improve is on the hot drinks. I chose not to order a coffee today because there were at least 10 people waiting on hot drinks and the pace of the staff was incredibly slow. On the food counter it was very efficient so I was a little confused.

A lovely spot underneath the rail way, makes a good coffee and some really nice baked goods and food! The quiches steal the show in this little spot, but how lovely the staff are (especially when it’s busy and rammed) makes the whole experience. They really are the best thing about here.

A really bustling bakery right next to Temple Meads. The latte was nice, and the blackcurrant and sour cream crumble slice was good too, but just super, super busy if you go on a weekday lunchtime like I did. Staff very friendly, and I was served quickly.

Wow...excellent bread, cakes and pastries freshly made to delight the most discerning patrons. Although the place looks unattractive on the outside, crowds of people are queueing to get a bite. The service staff are very friendly and efficient. A experience that warrants repetition to come often. 😋😍🥰🤩

I haven't been back to Bristol and Hart's for well over 5 years. So glad the toasties and coffee are as good as ever. The mushroom vegan sausage roll has ruined me forever👌.

Solid artisan bakery, and probably one of the best sausage rolls I've ever eaten. The filling was rich, coarse, bursting with flavour and texture. It almost felt and tasted like meatloaf wrapped in puff pastry. Absolutely delicious. The hazelnut brownie was also amazing, the base was very compact but the top layer was very smooth and creamy, with the taste and texture of an upmarket Ferrero Rocher. Really can't fault the food at all.

I’ve really missed Kaspa’s since it closed down in my local town but its good to know that I’ve still got somewhere to have a good desert! I was served by a lovely girl called Miss Amber and exceeded my expectations! Service was prompt and my order was made to perfection. They’ll be seeing me more regularly! Would definitely recommend if you have a big sweet tooth 🤭

Every time we come here we are always treated so nicely. We have created a great bond with the staff especially Betty and Mandra, they are always so kind and cheerful and accommodate our requests! They remember our orders and place it correct every time, which is such a talent! I highly recommend this place to everyone :)

I visited this establishment this evening with the three service users I support, and unfortunately, our experience was very uncomfortable. When we paid in cash, the woman behind the counter asked if we needed the change, stating they didn’t have any in the till. I explained that yes, we did need the change, as it belongs to the individuals I support. Shortly after that, they reached in the till and handed us the correct change. Throughout the interaction, the staff spoke in a language we didn’t understand while casting side glances at us, which made both myself and the service users feel uneasy. They continued conversing in that language while occasionally looking the individuals I was with up and down. I found the overall customer service to be disappointing, and I feel compelled to share this experience out of respect and advocacy for the people I support.

I have been there a few times for waffles and ice cream and it was very delicious, tasty And fresh. Here you have a large and delicious choice that I have never seen before in Bristol. The place is modern, tidy, spacious, big, clean, amazing and unique place which makes it very good to be in front of the desserts. The customer service was good, fast, reliable, informative, respectful, responsive, helpful, amazing and professional, which made me know this was the place to have dessert there every now and then. It's worth paying the money for the service and food, which is why I'm very happy with them. If you don't go there, you'll regret it because you've never had something this good in Bristol, I definitely recommend Kaspas Longwell Green.

Desserts ok. Service extremely slow. About 7 people working behind the counter / in the kitchen. Each of them taking a solid amount of time to chat amongst themselves / doss about / stack boxes / be on their phones / chat some more / do everything but get customers' orders out in a reasonable time. It took over 25 mins to be served two ice creams. I had to go query what had happened to our order. Turns out they had simply taken the order but not actually made it. The place is no more than 1/4 full... two stars...

The best kaspas I’ve ever eaten in my life, the quality of the food and the service is excellent, I’m so pleased of Daniel and Betty they have been the best staff there since I know kaspas in longwell green, Daniel and Betty there kind, respectful and sweet like the waffles. I recomand to all my friends and family to go there!!!!!

I really liked the mushroom avocado crepe, the crepes are freshly made in front of you and the portion is generous. I also liked the speciality tea Rooibos that is unique to South Africa. I enjoyed my food while admiring the view of the canal and so overall I would say it was a lovely breakfast in Bristol :)

Spotted this place whilst out for a little harbour walk with me fella. Glad we found it! Lovely well filled freshly cooked crepes! We had a cheese chicken Pesto to start. Chicken was nice and juicy, lovely bit of pesto and plentiful of cheese. And then a chocolate malteasers crepe. Not disappointed! Nice and chocolatety! We are keen for another harbour walk just for a yummy cheeky crepe stop! And to top it off with a nice view with outdoor seating!

Best sweet and savoury crepes ever! The avocado + mushroom + cheddar cheese crepe is a good choice for a savoury crepe; it's light on the palette and still yummy even after a few bites! The banana + nutella crepe is absolutely divine for those feeling like they need a sweet treat! Coffee is great too!

Visited to have cake on my daughters 5th birthday 🥳 The cake was delicious (made to the owners Grandmothers recipe) and staff went the extra mile to make it special. Great spot for people watching with the big windows and I was jealous of the many people who popped in for (seemingly ginormous) Marshfield Ice Cream. Really impressed, would definitely return.

No longer Bar Chocolat, but now Burra - a light and cozy coffee shop serving delicious coffee and a range of cakes and pastries with excellent vegan options. I came here for a take away coffee and to my delight, not one, but five vegan cake options! I will be back to sample! Staff were friendly and service was excellent.

Papadeli has an excellent range of food on offer. Their cakes are out of this world and perhaps the best we have ever had. The chocolate celebration cake they baked for us was so good it elicited my toddler daughter's first ever sentence - "I liked it.".

Fantastic cookery school experience. Headed up by Simon and his team with so much knowledge and patience combined with a a love for excellent food and wine. I learnt so much and explored being more creative than at home with just a recipe . Highly recommend these events and look forward to joining another one soon . Papadeli catered for our wedding in the summer. The food was incredible and so many of our guests said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. The staff were brilliant on the day - very friendly and professional. We had a lot of guests there and it all went very smoothly, thanks to the organisation of the staff. Lou was a delight to deal with in the lead up; she was really helpful, transparent about costs, and quick to respond to queries. We had canapés followed by the feasting menu and then evening food later on - all were excellent. The portions were very generous and we severely regretted not bringing containers for the leftovers - the food was so delicious! We would definitely recommend them as caterers.

Papadeli provided the lunch and snacks for our annual event, and they were absolutely exceptional! From the very beginning, their communication was clear, responsive, and incredibly helpful. The team showed such care and attention to detail in everything they did – from the beautifully presented food to the thoughtful way they catered to a wide range of dietary requirements. Everything was seamless on the day, and the food was just delicious – fresh, vibrant, and so well received by our guests. We had fantastic feedback! The butternut squash in particular got rave reviews! Our friends with allergies commented on how well the team looked after them. Papadeli provided the catering for our wedding at The Observatory, and the food couldn’t have been more delicious and perfect for the occasion. It was an absolute delight dealing with them from the very start - thank you especially to Lou who was so responsive and helpful. It was so reassuring to know that this part of our wedding was in such safe hands, and everything was made so easy.

Coffee is always amazing at Loaf, as is the service. Came recently as I loved their Vegan Potato Pizza slice but I think it’s sadly been removed from their menu, I tried the Artichoke and Burrata Panuozzo instead which was delicious and I’m glad I tried something different from their menu. The sourdough crumpets were also a big hit!

This is a really excellent place. The staff are very friendly, when you get their attention and the food is excellent. Their pizza slices are really something to try! Then you have the bread you can buy to take away. Which also smells absolutely fabulous. The coffee is a great roast too, not too bitter and plenty of flavour - at least in the decaf blend. There is no a/c here, however there are some fabulous big windows to open when it is warm 😊

Really nice atmosphere, with massive windows running through the full length of the place. Looks amazing in the afternoon sun. The food amd coffee were also good. Pizza slices seem expensive at first, but they are the size of like 3/4 of a regular pizza and made on a very thick base - worth checking out!

The food here is genuinely amazing. The pastries and patisserie are always a pleasant surprise. We will always get 1 sweet 1 savoury but honestly always lost for choice. I’m so glad it’s all freshly made. The pizzas here are delightful, freshly made for you every time.

Love the coffee at this vibrant place. The staff are always so friendly. The Friand is delicious. You get served quickly even when busy and nothing is a bother to them.

I enjoyed the tea & pastry but was so disappointed by the service & feel like they shouldn’t force you to have table service & pay a service charge if they really can’t deliver…. I went on a Friday morning, it wasn’t particularly busy & the one waitress seemed to be having a chilled day, time to chat to other staff etc on the other side of the room without looking round to see if people need help. I only got served when I went up to the counter & then told its table service, I also had to go over to ask to pay my bill as I waited so long to get any attention. For a small order I didn’t bother to quibble the service charge but it has left me feeling disappointed, I probably wouldn’t rush back just for this reason.

Fantastic!! So happy. Rose was a brilliant hostess too. The meatballs were 👌 and coffee too. Rarely does a place perform so well on all fronts - coffee, bakery, main courses, atmosphere, decor…Bristol is spoiled!

Where do I begin? Ah I know - with the flavour of course. I had heard a great deal about the best bakeries in Bristol and this place kept popping up, so of course being an avid baked good fans I ventured over there. Luckily it’s not far from my house (bonus!) so I walked over and explored the visual aspect of the place first, which is charming in size, and kind of hidden. From there I ordered the chocolate braided Babka which was very delicious, moist, and pretty sweet, and my partner ordered the spiced bun, Which was crispy and soft in places, with spiced sugar, alongside a bag of pastel de Nata and a couple of coffees. As I sat there munching into mine I was in sheer heaven. Simply gorgeous flavours coming out of this pastry and probably the best I’ve had anywhere. I tried my partners also and I was very impressed with the flavour of this also. Good quality coffee, and the pastel de Nata custard tarts were probably the best outside of Portugal. Get over there as early as you can to avoid disappointment, as it truly worth it.

Have seen this on social media so not a find.... It is certainly worth a visit. Actually it is a must.... The cakes and coffee were excellent. Actually they were incredible. There are a range of breads freshly baked too. They were around 4 pounds per loaf. The cakes were different prices. Mine was 3.90 and truly amazing. Had the spice bun later and the butter they use is incredible I would say. The croissant was incredibly nice also. Here there is a very small number of seats inside and just outside. Service was helpful and prompt - plus it is very busy so the staff work very hard. They made my box up very well. Exquisite cakes and drinks to enjoy in central Bristol. Well worth getting up early.

Had this bakery on my list since moving to Bristol, and I’m so glad I finally stopped by. Grabbed a morning coffee and babka—both were excellent. The babka was perfectly baked, rich and flaky, and the coffee was smooth and well balanced. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend!

Farro has been on my "want to go" list for probably a couple of years - I finally went yesterday and goodness I wish I'd made the effort sooner! Fresh, delicious pastries, nice coffee, and really friendly, efficient service. Then bread looked great too. We bought coffee and pastries and sat on a bench in the sunshine in Brunswick Square to enjoy them. It's one of those places where you could easily pick anything at random and know that it'd be delicious. Now I need to engineer more reasons to be in that part of town more often so I can go back and try more things!

Genuinely the most delicious pastel de nata to exist outside of Portugal. Absolutely incredible! Thought I'd give it a try due to the hype. Was decent, wasn't absolutely mindblown but still a higher standard bakery than most in Bristol. I got the Honey Almond which was nice but it didn't live up to the rest of the reviews. The staff were nice, dealing with a busy shop quite well. I'd say the ticket system for order collection was good, but it felt like being horded into a train station - you couldn't move as everyone is squashed to the side.

I love Farro! Delicious flat white and honestly all of the pastries are incredible. Get there early for the pasteis de nata. Staff are always so friendly, even when it's super busy ❤️

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I just had a quiche and a cinnamon bun and felt like I had to. Watching the lovely lady making the dough from scratch, seeing everything prepared fresh, I was expecting something nice. But after the first bite, I questioned whether I’d ever truly eaten baked goods before. The flavor, the texture. I was lost for a moment. I didn’t know who or where I was, only that I’d just savored a small slice of heaven. Highly recommend.

Amazing sourdough - honestly, its one of the best I've ever eaten in my life, and I grew up eating bakery bread, HOWEVER, I was shocked to know they dont slice the bread they sell or have a slicing machine. I was advised to cut the bread at home - which is the obvious (and a tad paternalistic). I could not have bought it, but I wanted to taste the bread as I drive in front of it every day and see the hype. Now I get it. But, I have terrible eye sight and live by myself. The risk of cutting myself while cooking is real, and it happens. Had to ask my kind neighbour to slice the bread for myself, which is a favour and not an everyday thing, obviously. I could have given 5 stars, but I couldn't find an explanation for a bakery not to have a bread slicer in 2025. Sorry, guys.

Good sourdough, I love the thick caramelised crust and the crumbs was moist and tender. I bought the large white sourdough. Don't hesitate to grab the large ones as it would be gone before you know! It was so good with just simple good quality of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Very friendly staffs with lovely smiles!

What witchcraft is this? I just moved up the road, heard good things, thought I could handle it—how wrong I was. I ate what can only be described as the most bloody amazing almond croissant ever. A hefty boy, a nice weight to him and sporting a good tan, it was flaky in all the right places, ever so buttery and crispy and fragrant, topped off with perfectly toasted almonds and dredged in powdered sugar. Inside, a decadent almond dream—not the sickly sweet artificial garbage you usually get fobbed off with. This was the real deal. Just to blow my own mind, I adulterated the poor sod with a streak of almond butter—which if you haven't done before you must immediately, but sit down before you do because it's next level stuff. I need to move house again or I will quickly become an almond croissant myself.

Smashing out some of the finest sourdough in the northern hemisphere. With steep and rich local competition. Much chat about their vegan take on a seasonal classic, the hot cross bun. It's a beautiful thing, but does it beat the Bristol Loaf? Jury's out. Eat them both.

I've been around most hot chocolate places in Bristol, it's taken a while to make it here but it was amazing! Hot chocolate was delicious and the service and atmosphere was brill. I have a milk allergy which I was dealt with well, with lots of vegan options! We got a nice selection of hand made chocolates to take away to, will be back very soon ☺️

The best hot chocolate I’ve had. The quality is unreal. Find a spot inside and savour the experience! I personally go for the dark chocolate oat or the rich beyond belief hazelnut chocolate number. They have alternative milks, a wonderful range of chocolate flavours, truffle chocolates, and they’re baby friendly. Everyone is so welcoming and always down for a chat. Edit: they’ve let me know that they’re only closed on Mondays - their opening hours are regularly updated online!

My favourite chocolate shop in Bristol and arguably my favourite chocolate brand/producer in general. Have been a long time customer and enjoyer of all their products from truffles to hot chocolate and standard bars. Have also participated in a truffles and pralines workshop that was very well executed and immensely enjoyable, with a bagful of my own chocolate creations to enjoy afterwards.

Really great selections of cakes and pastries, lots of vegan options too. We had the lemon blueberry loaf and the pain perdu with caramel, both were gorgeous! Also had a hot chocolate which was beautiful, definitley in my top 3 Bristol hot chocolates!

Came for lunch and had a couple of the focaccia sandwiches which the Reuben was absolutely amazing, best sandwich I've had. Coffee was great and the over all place was well seated and not to busy and lovely to be in the amazing gardens of the Cathedral. Very relaxing environment.

I always forget that there is a cafe near the cloisters of the cathedral and you can sit quietly enjoying a cup of tea or something to eat. Never tried a sourdoughnut before. You could almost forget you are in the city centre nice quiet pace. Lovely

Ridiculously expensive toastie. At £10 I expected maybe something a bit special. But it was an fairly standard size with no salad etc. the cafe itself is lovely especially when it leads out into cathedral garden. The person that served me seemed irritated by my presence.

I’ve emailed twice about catering and have been completely ignored. Can’t find a number anywhere to ring. I wanted to get their sourdoughnuts delivered for a celebration. They don’t seem to monitor their emails even though this is the only way to contact them.

Definitely a 10/10 experience for me. The staff at the front desk was really helpful by mentioning what I’d find interesting on all the floors when I mentioned that it was my first time visiting the Bristol Museum. I was impressed by the artworks, silver and porcelain collection.

Free entry - though I gave £5 well Worth it. Great art collection for a gallery this size. Good variety from French Impressionism to 15th religious artworks. Nice and quiet. Good lighting and great descriptions to accompany the work.

Beautiful art, plenty of fossils and beautiful history to look to. Their gender exhibition was lovely too. The only thing that was kind of surprising was the fact that the museum closes at 5PM. I know the staff works hard and they're knowledgeable but I wish it was open a bit later, especially on the weekend. I feel like if they had a ticket price on entry, they might compensate a few more people's time to provide knowledge to the curious folk past 5PM. I'LL DEFINITELY COME BACK THOUGH!!!

The staff here were very helpful, and the art and exhibitions were interesting. There is a lot to see, and a lovely cafe and gift shop. We saw the gender exhibition, which I would highly recommend, there was an amazing array of art and artefacts, and the theme of the whole section is so important. Definitely worth a visit.

We had booked the place for its gorgeous interior and location for a bachelorette celebration. We had a great experience, service was amazing and waitresses/waiters are all very warm and welcoming. Food was all good and cocktails very well made and tasty. Good atmosphere. A couple downsides but one of them is that the main meal was served around 45-1hpur from when it was ordered, we were not too bothered about this as we were happy to have a chat etc but it’s something worth noting. Would recommend

A great spot for a pre show dinner. Suitably decorated with a strong theme and sense of character. Food was a little slow arriving and table service also just slightly slower than ideal, but very polite. Allow plenty of time if you want multiple courses. We found the bottle of red wine overly warm too, but we did visit during the summmer months.

Super spot in poss the best part of Bristol. Room was characterfully British with amazing internal architecture. Staff was polite, prompt and very efficient. My Dirty Bap was a delight, well balanced flavours and care taken with ingredient cooking and presentation. Only slight quibble was the Mary could have been given more care and depth. Overall though a super spot and highly recommended.

There’s so many cuts and size options so lots of choice for big groups who might have varying stomach sizes and budgets! The sides were the real stars for me: the garlic spinach was buttery and delicious. Plus tell me a time truffle fries are not a good idea! The space itself is full of character, with bold, creative interiors and eye-catching artwork throughout. It’s a unique setting that definitely adds something extra to your meal.

I booked here for Mother’s Day and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Grace was our server, she was lovely, attentive, and friendly. The food was very good, the roasts were very good, flavourful, and great portions for the price. My only criticism would be the beef on the roast could’ve been served pinker - but that’s personal preference; the piece of chicken was cooked well but more flavour is needed. However, my dad really enjoyed it so no complaints there. The yorkies are massssive too! I had the squid for starter and it was so good, crispy, and not overly oily. The flavour was well balanced. My mum had burnt ends and they were so tender. The chicken croquettes were surprising, big portion, very pretty, and my dad enjoyed them. Personally the squid was the best. I had the black garlic short rib and wow! Tender rip and amazing mashed potato. Surprising the mash was the star of the show for me - so creamy, smooth, and overall a simple mash done perfectly. I would recommend coming here for sure, the prices are reasonable for the portions and the flavours are pleasant.

We had a nice time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and truly underrated. Fortunately, it wasn't busy when we visited. The staff member who serviced our table was incredibly friendly and our little one really took a liking to him. Because of this, we are excited to come back again!

The food itself was well cooked and tasty. However, for a £31 steak to not come with any accompaniments (besides what can only be described as a single leaf and 2 small tomatoes) felt like very poor value, especially considering the high cost of sides and a sauce. The staff were nice and friendly however felt a little inexperienced. The view out of the window was almost hilariously unappealing because of the large signs reading ‘endoscopy clinic’ (although this is only some of the booth seating). The art theme was nice but half hearted with a selection of paintings and some interesting art at the table, although this felt a little run down. Knowing that the restaurant had art in the name, I was expecting the menu to be more than black text on white paper as in any other restaurant.

Excellent Pre-Theatre Steak at Steak of Art, Bristol! Just had a fantastic pre-theatre meal at Steak of Art in Bristol! The place has a brilliant vibe and the decor is genuinely great. Service was top-notch, really friendly and efficient. For food, I had the rib-eye and the missus had the rump, and both steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly. Totally recommend Steak of Art for anyone wanting a quality steak and a great atmosphere before a show.

A highly regarded cafe in Clifton that did not disappoint. Situated in the pleasant suburb, this cafe is in a charming area of shops and parks. The cafe has outdoor and indoor seating. The service here was excellent and the attentive. The food was very well presented and tasty. We had the Mexican eggs and the blt. The freshly squeezed orange juice was sublime. Coffee was also fresh and tasty. Overall I can see this place being very busy without the outside area being used in less clement weather. Highly recommended overall.

Came for mid-week lunch and could not have been more pleased. Very welcoming staff and a nice cosy feel to the place. I had the rarebit which was outstanding and will definitely be coming back for. The whole menu was very reasonably priced and you can tell that the ingredients are of good quality. It’s tucked out the way so whilst it was reasonably busy, it didn’t feel overwhelming or uncomfortable.

Incredible service, some of the drinks were coming out before we even sat down, all tasted amazing. The pastry’s were perfect and never tasted stale. The eggs were perfect and the granola was delicious. Good vibe, not too expensive. If I was local I’d be here every day.

A corner plot with floor to ceiling windows to take in the local environment. This coffee shop selling a variety of drinks, cakes and lunch offerings would be great for the quick catch up with a friend or colleague. From the cake selection you won’t be disappointed by the Tunisian orange cake even if you don’t like orange flavoured cakes! I had to look up how the cake was made because it had a strange but very enjoyable flavour palette. I found the taste to be a blend of the almond, clove and cinnamon ingredients used. The clove and cinnamon were very subtle, on the level of the flavours you might expect from and M&S or Waitrose Christmas biscuit. The orange flavour wasn’t punchy. It again was subtle and pair well with the delicate flavours of other ingredients. I would liken the cake as a whole to a family recipe. Its composition was balanced throughout. This extends to the syrup used to drench the sponge. It didn’t gush out but instead made the sponge moist. The house coffee greets your taste buds with a very roasted hit at first (Black coffee). However, the flavour develops into a fruit one that’s smooth and ends with only a slight bitter note.

I’m from Vancouver, which as the best sushi outside of Japan. This is VERY good, although expensive (of course, it’s England). Service is meh, atmosphere is great with the bustling street but patio tables/chairs not very comfortable.

Called in to this little gem when staying in Bristol for Valentines. The restaurant itself is really small, yet it didn't feel cramped. The staff were great with recommendations off the menu. We had a nice window seat. Very reasonably priced!!! No complaints at all.

Visited for lunch with my friend today and it was 10/10! Very quick and friendly service and for Bristol city centre, very fair prices. I had the green tea which was lovely and teriyaki rice bowl alongside a side of fried pork gyoza. Full and flavour and very filling! The nicest meal I’ve eaten out in a very long time. Im honestly craving it again already!🤤 My friend had the spring rolls and the teriyaki poki bowl which she said both were delicious. Will definitely be returning and would recommend over any other place I’ve tried in the city centre! You will not be disappointed. We booked here for Saturday night for 6 of us, being big fans of Japanese food. The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Service was good and efficient. Only suggestion I would have is if they could also do vegetable tempura that would be great. We all thoroughly enjoyed it though, so thank you very much.

The service was standard, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. However it tasted cheap (as a Japanese person), and it was really disappointed when we went at 6:30 and was already out of all salmon! Would not go again, but I can understand if people enjoy it as it’s very simple and affordable.

I had a very disappointing experience here. The service was unfriendly and unprofessional from start to finish. Since we didn’t make a reservation, we were told that indoor seating was limited to 45 minutes, so we agreed to sit outside. I asked if the heater could be turned on, and they did so — which I appreciated. However, things went downhill afterward. Even though the staff knew we were seated outside, no one came to collect our order paper or check on us for quite some time, while other tables received prompt service. No one asked about food allergies either, which is concerning. When I realized I couldn’t eat the sauce that came with the pumpkin croquette, I went inside to inform a staff (possibly manager?) She referred me to the cashier counter, which was fine. However, when our food arrived, the ebi croquette had sauce on it. I politely saying “Sorry, I have requested this for no sauce’ and the same staff (possibly the manager) responded with an unfriendly tone, saying, “Just now you said pumpkin, right? This is ebi.” Her attitude really upset me. What made it worse was seeing her serve other tables with a friendly smile — it felt unfair and inconsistent. When it came time to pay, the staff brought us the bill before we even asked for it. That’s fine. We requested to pay separately, and although she said yes, she immediately entered a total and showed us the payment terminal before confirming which items belonged to which person. This made the “separate payment” pointless, as we still had to sort out the differences ourselves. After payment, we were still sitting and chatting for a short while. Then the same lady came to us again — this time with a big smile — clearly wanting to take back the table. It felt so fake and ridiculous: she had been unfriendly the whole time, and only smiled when she wanted us to leave. Lastly, while the food tasted okay, it seemed pre-cooked — everything came out within 5–10 minutes. I believe Ungai takes more than this timing to grilled after order, if is not pre-cooked. Overall, the food was decent but the poor service and attitude completely ruined the experience. Definitely not worth the money.

Good food. Salmon and tuna in the chirashi don were quite fresh, curry was good as well, crispy and smooth katsu. Overall a pretty traditional taste of Japanese food for what we've tried.

Cocktails were perfectly tasty but the service was slow. It was extremely dark as well so was hard to actually see your drinks/the menu! They also put in HUGE ice cubes so the quantity of drink is ridiculous for the price! Wouldn’t recommend going as a bigger group as we were there for an hour and a half and only managed to get one drink served in that time! Was a ‘cool’, ‘alternative’ place to try out though!

How anyone could rate this place anything less than 5 stars is beyond me! To start, I did feel a bit lost outside the venue and ended up calling to check if they were open. Stu kindly answered and explained I just needed to ring the doorbell (I did feel a little silly 😅), but he instantly put me at ease and made me feel welcome. Once inside, I was seated at the bar and looked after by Will – an absolute legend. I mentioned I was a whisky drinker and shared what I liked. That’s when the real journey began. They introduced me to whiskies I’d never even heard of, and I was given an exclusive tour of their collection – absolutely mind-blowing. The customer care and knowledge the team have is second to none. I was later introduced to Tom, who was just as friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable as Stu and Will. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem – the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the range of cocktails and whiskies is unbelievable. I can’t recommend this place highly enough to anyone visiting Bristol who loves whisky, cocktails, and great company. Wishing Will the best of luck on his upcoming adventures to Italy and Canada – you’ll definitely be missed by the team. Thank you all for making my very first trip to Bristol such a memorable one 🙏🏻

Now my favourite cocktail spot in Bristol. Sid was brilliant and made a couple of off-the-menu cocktails for me. They were two distinct drinks, both of which tasted amazing! Much better than I anticipated. Please add nightcap to your menu (the name of the final one I had)! Its those who love smoky whiskey or rum flavours with a kick.

Didn't eat there but had plenty of drinks. The people were very nice and informative.

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.

The wings were dry but there was a good quantity. Unfortunately they forgot to provide the sauce. Fries were good, crispy, definitely above average. The burger was good, could do with more sauce. The beef was interestingly shaped. I prefer five guys though.

Had breakfast here. Got there by 11.55am and we were still allowed to choose from the breakfast menu. The food was good. I had waffles and chicken with bacon. I don't like syrup but it's supposed to come with it. Also, there were lumps of sugar in the waffles. I think this is something I will never get used to. I don't have a sweet tooth so that threw me off but the chicken and bacon was crispy and nice. I had this with hot chocolate which tasted and looked good My husband had the diner Dreamland burger served with onion rings. It says with chips on the receipt, I honestly just noticed as I'm typing this review. But he was not served any chips. He had his meal with coca cola Overall a good experience. Meal came on time and was hot. Service charge was applied.

I had a very pleasant meal here, with two friends. The service was very pleasant, the food was particularly tasty, I can highly recommend the chicken waffles and bacon pancakes looked delicious. I would also recommend trying an oat milk hot chocolate if you get a chance as they are sublime. Overall the visit was very pleasant. I really enjoyed myself and the delicious food set me up for a lovely day exploring Bristol. I cannot recommend this diner enough if you enjoy the aesthetics and food of nostalgia Americana. I’ve had food from this place a few times now. What I can say is: delivery is better than restaurant, chicken is better than beef and if you’re going to get fries, get the “dirty” ones. Good stuff mostly, but a little inconsistent in the quality and doneness of the food. Waiters are always great and helpful though.

A beautiful spot with a really nice atmosphere in the heart of the city. The food is excellent and really well presented, but beware that the waiters can sometimes take a little longer than expected. This is simply because they are so busy and they put in the effort. The food is worth the wait.

Lovely food with great atmosphere, one of the best brunch spots in Bristol. Highly recommend you book as it can get fully booked on weekends. The food used to be better as they had a large gammon bacon slice and a pot of mixed baked beans. I hope they bring them back.

Delicious food - really tasty and beautiful presentation not your run of the mill greasy deep fried tapas this is much more special! Lovely venue as near to harbourside but not noisy or too busy. Really great outside area. Only slight issue was 25 minute wait for some of our dishes as some came out quickly then we had to wait. I guess it had been a very busy day though and worth the wait. Gin cocktail could have come in a nice gin glass but overall it was delicious and I definitely recommend the food alone is really amazing!

Really great tapas. Good portion sizes. Excellent location and ambiance. We had a slight delay with our drinks, but they were very apologetic and offered free dessert to make up for it.

I would say it was a wonderful experience and location to enjoy tasty tapas. And the decor has a nice feel to it. We had a variety of food and drink, reasonable price and good quality. They forgot a dish we ordered and would have personally expected a slightly larger Aperol spritz, so that was a bit peeving as I was looking forward to the dish I ordered, but apart from that it was not half bad.

A wide cocktail range for all and a collect range of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very friendly, we were served by a lovely waitress who gave us excellent recommendations of activities within Bristol. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening drink and a great view!

My partner and I went here for a prosecco brunch and we were definitely not disappointed, coming to £35 per person you get a bottle of prosecco each and 3 courses. Portion sizes weren't big but perfect size for brunch. My personal favourite was the "Clifton Seafood Cod", which I would happily go back for again. My partner was a big fan of the truffled Mac n cheese balls for their starter. Both of us were very happy and surprised by how good the freshly baked doughnuts were as well, coming with a little syringe to fill as much as you want. The area being alongside the harbour is very nice and inherently has a warm buzz to it but the place was a little difficult to find with the map failing to pinpoint it, however don't let that be the reason that stops you from stopping here for a bite.

Scallops: fresh and nice balance of flavours Sourdough: nicely toasted if a little burnt flavour with nice butter and olive oil Mushroom: tad dry due to cooking method but the veg below with cheese sauce was delicious Fritters: average Sea bass: highly recommend with good flavours Short rib: little underwhelming and could do with bit more seasoning Donut: average but novelty injecting sauce into it.

The staff were really lovely. They weren’t due to open for another 30 minutes. Seating is limited, even more so because it was raining. The staff were really kind and made me food before they were supposed to open. The short rib was beautiful - really tender and the meat fell off the bone. The chips were good, plentiful, well seasoned and crispy. And they packed my doughnuts in a box to go at my request. It was the best meal during my stay in Bristol.

Really lovely food! The server was friendly but service was very slow. He seemed to be the only one there doing everything. Would definitely recommend and go back though just make sure you go when you've got the time to have a slower dinner. Really good GF and vegetarian options.

Fabulous meal to celebrate my Birthday with family. The menu was inspired and beautifully cooked. We relished the assortment of sauces that accompanied our dishes, the scallops were lovely with the bloody mary sauce, the rack of lamb displayed to share with clearly defined portions and bourbon sauce and perfectly cooked.The roast veg were delicious. All encouraged us to sample, share and enjoy together. The self fill donuts were great fun too and even the larger appetites of the groups were satisfied. Not just a meal, an event. Thanks too to the charming and knowledgeable staff .We shall be back!

Went yesterday. Great value. Coffee was excellent and you may buy beans for very-competitive prices to take home. Staff were polite and service was efficient. The only issue was the lack-of-seating inside. I was only on a weekend trip otherwise I would visit more.

Delicious pastries, we had the cardamom bun, hazelnut white chocolate swirl, cinnamon bun and of course a fluffy croissant. Hot drinks were great too. the atmosphere is upbeat in the morning with nice music would highly recommend!!

Delicious build your own sandwiches for about £6, with a huge variety of fillings and breads. Be aware that they get busy and service can be a bit slow.

The only reason I keep returning to Mark’s Bread is the food, because the sandwiches are pretty great. Unfortunately, though, that’s where the praise ends. The service is consistently awkward at best, and rude at worst. There’s a weird smugness in how they inform you they’re out of something, and asking for a sandwich to be made from their own menu somehow feels like an imposition. I understand working in the service industry can be hard, but basic courtesy isn’t too much to expect.

Busy, vibrant bakery. I went to visit on a Saturday, and there was a queue out to the pavement. It moved quickly and I got my order of bacon in a ‘Marks’ white bap and a couple of oat lattes. It was just under £12 which is pricey - but I’m in Bedminster. It was ready in under 5 mins, I got 5 slices of streaky bacon nicely done in real buttered bun. Tasted very good, bun was springy and freshly soft, bacon hot and not too salty. Coffee smooth and delicious but could have been larger. One suggestion would be to sear the bun for a minute on the bacon griddle to warm it up and give it a bit of crunch. Thanks Mark’s Bread, I’ll be back.

Today was the first time we visit Mark's bread because we had various breads before, my brother in law used to buy it for us once we live in Gloucester! We love it! It was a first for the breakfast and wow, the most delicious breakfast I ever had! The atmosphere and staff were amazing too, very nice people! We can't wait to go back! Loved the eggs, the bread, thesausage, the bacon and those beans have an incredible sauce, YUM!!! 😍

A bit expensive when you think about it, but if you don't think about it too much, it's really enjoyable! I always spend a good time there and it's usually not too busy. It closes pretty late in the night, which is weird but actually useful! They have a good choice in ice creams and if you stick to one flavour, the price is okay. But waffles and crêpes are excellent nonetheless

Huge parlor with an extensive menu. Had a single scoppe Chocolate Brownie gelato and a crispy waffle cone. Wonderfully rich chocolate and a generous helping of toppings. Friends ordered crepes and cookie dough and cleared their plates so assume those are good.

We saw the reviews of this lovely coffee shop and decided to pay a visit, definitely worth every star. The food is made on site and it was all delicious - I had the spinach pastry (very fresh and not too heavy) and a coconut macaroon. The macaroon was so light not overly sweet and so moreish, enjoyed every mouthful. Very friendly staff, a young lady called Naz was very kind and helpful. The cappuccino was lovely. 💯 must visit.

A true hidden gem I discovered on Too Good To Go. £15 through the app for an occasion cake is a fantastic price, but after experiences with some other cake shops I was worried it wouldn't have much flavour. I got a chocolate cake with cherry jam, it was absolutely delicious and surprisingly light. Collection was quick too, and the staff were lovely. I was even asked if I'd like a message on the cake. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back, both to try the patessiere surprise bag and the baklava.

We have now had quite a number of cakes made by the wonderful people at Bristanbul and each one has been amazing and beautifully made. The last one we picked up on Saturday was for a joint 90th, 21st and 18th Birthday Party. Not only are the cakes delicious, they look fantastic and the staff are so helpful, such as carrying the cake to the car!

Good tasting ice cream flavours with good variety and unique flavours (like Italian custard - to me a mix of banana and vanilla). Very friendly staff. Coffee flavour was well done - but I find swoons gelato less icy with stronger flavours.

Stumbled into Brosen Bar and left with history in a glass. With the help of the absolute legend Keanu (clearly named after his mum’s Hollywood crush – respect), we invented what I am now calling the best cocktail in the world: the reverse Coca-Cola iced tea float. Probably 3.5 for me Positives: great bacon roll, some the cakes are pretty good, good chorizo sausage roll, nice area out front if the weather is good. Back room could do with an update, not the best place to sit, and some stuff is expensive for what it is e.g. almond croissant doesn't have almond paste filling.

Just stopped in for a quick bit of breakfast and it was bloody delightful! Super tasty croque monsieur that wasn't sickly cheesy and a perfect flat white made with Extract beans. Definitely worth stopping if you're passing by!

As a coffee lover, I have to admit the coffee isn't anything spectacular. Service was mediocre. The atmosphere is great, especially the tables outside, overlooking the main cathedral and the Roman baths. There were some good-looking sandwiches but I didn't try them, so I cannot comment. I came in for the coffee and it was a bit disappointing, so overall I cannot recommend to others, sorry.

I came to Bath recently, for the first time, on a mini little break before starting at the University part time. I did my research before travelling, and saw Mokoko was highly rated due to its pastries and scenic location right by Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. I decided to add it to my foodie list, and arrived as the shop opened at 9am, and it was a Monday. I was so earlier the pastries had not been put out on the counter! I had planned to get an Almond Croissant, seeing amazing reviews for this, but overheard that these were not on the menu on that day (something to keep in mind if you're going for a specific item!). I wondered what else was on the menu and was given a list of options, where I picked the Almond Praline Chocolate Pain Suisse. It was a mild morning so I was able to sit outside, looking onto the amazing view of the Abbey - as well as the pastry! Now this was definitely one of the prettiest pastries I have even seen, which was a very positive start. Given the pastries had just been bought out I did almost expect it to be warm, which it was not at all. Nevertheless, I bit into the pain suisse. This was beautiful. The pastry was amazingly crispy and buttery - you can tell they use real butter opposed to margarine (not only by the taste but also by how the pastry comes together when you bite into it). The filling was plentiful, and the nuttiness well balanced with the chocolate. This is one of the best pastries I have ever eaten, made better by the views this place has to offer. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend popping by Mokoko if you're in Bath, and intend on returning myself (hopefully to try the Almond Croissant!)

Delicious Desserts The big deal is to select one item from their menu. They have a collection of choices but I have never tried their sundae as they are not available any time. Anyway their waffles with ice cream and crepes are super yummy. Lovely place to eat with family if it is not crowded as The service is not great when the place gets little crowded. Please do not visit if you have diabetes 😂 I’m giving 2 stars since the service was very poor and careless. 1. They doesn’t know which table ordered which item. They ask every table what they ordered. Its kind of awkward as we forget the fancy names of the items. 2. I found a strip of hair in my plate which was disgusting. 3. We ordered 5 items and received only two at first and the other 3 came after about 40 mins when we went and reminded them as they forgot about the order . This totally ruined our appetite and time. 4. Ordered milk cake and got a brownie. The staff is very confused with orders when there are more people. 5. Limited ice cream flavours available Visited this place for the second time but definitely not going again anytime.

My uncle came here a few days ago and said he really enjoyed the waffle with strawberry, white chocolate sauce and crushed digestives. He took a photo of it, he said it looked delicious!! Since I haven’t been there myself yet I’m not going to rate it 4-5 stars, but when I do go I’ll change what I rate it depending on my experience. I’ll update my review each time I go. #1 Update: my uncle went again and he had a ice-cream Sunday and he really loved it!! #2 update: I went and had a waffle it was amazing definitely going to go again at some point, I want to try some of there cakes! Another great thing about this place is the staff are so wonderful and nice :) #3 update: I thought I’d try something different this time, so I tried the chocolate fudge cake and the Black Forest cake. Now I was very disappointed with these… wouldn’t recommend either tbh ~ Black Forest: this one is okay… but the cherry flavour is overpowering and ruined it all its way to strong ~ the chocolate fudge cake was nasty there was some sort of spicy flavour to it I literally couldn’t finish it. Out of the two the Black Forest was better however I would get either again…. #4 update: We went again for my uncles birthday where he got a free cake. We also brought 2 strawberry shortcake waffles ~ The cake was the strawberry gateau which was honestly really nice I would definitely recommend it! When I had tried a bit I was quite sceptical before of the other cakes I’ve tried but this was really good honestly!! This time was really amazing!

Staff was friendly. We arrived 45min before closing time, they were already cleaning everything and they managed to serve us with a big smile and a lot of patience (we didn’t know what to choose). We could try some flavors before ordering. The 4stars is just because the quality of the crepe dough was not the best and the hazelnut chocolate is not Nutella…it doesn’t taste much like hazelnut chocolate. The price was ok and they have NHS discount.

A little bit pricey for what it is but well worth a visit. Calorie counters beware, foodies enjoy. The tables aren't always clean but when I have asked the staff they have always cleaned them. The ice cream is always good and the waffles cooked perfectly. I have never gone here and had a bad experience. Great place to meet with friend and pig out.

Went in at a quiet time and service seemed ok, there wasn't any space for a child buggy but staff put it in a cupboard for us, might be hard in busy times. Food was good for the price though compared to other ice cream parlours.

we got a large baklava, the spinach and feta pie and a small kataifi to share and it was all super sweet & delish! if you have a sweet tooth you’ll love all of it. they have a ton of other dessert options as well so there’s something for everyone. pricing is soo worth it as well, they have full cakes priced around £25-30, honestly would get something from here if any celebrations are round the corner. will return to try their greek coffee one day!! there are only about 3 tables indoors but there’s a bar/stool area as well. also owner (?) was super lovely, thank you for the cookies x

Nice Greek bakery with MANY options of sweet and savoury. Prices not too bad. Great amount of veggo options to try. Good flavours and taste. There are 2 tables and a bench inside to sit at and some out the front. There was no space to sit inside as all the tables were occupied, but when we did get to sit down, one table was occupied by a man who worked there who was just chilling there. That is of course ok that he sit there, bit I did think it weird that he not let customers have the table. Just so you know, tere is no toilet 🚻. Good to try :)

Bought 3 vegan savoury pastries to take out from the lovely young woman serving : potato, leek and a spinach one. All equality delicious. It has a small inside eating area too.

I'm not a bubble tea aficionado, but my companion is, and she relished this place. Frozen yoghurt lovers will also appreciate the huge range of options. As for me, I was parched after an excursion to the Bristol Museum, so just wanted a cup of ordinary (non-bubble) breakfast tea. The man behind the counter looked utterly bemused and taken aback at my request. "Teabag, hot water, you know" I said. He laughed as if I'd just asked for an edible bicycle seat. "I don't know what that is" he said with an amused smile, "We don't do that". I pointed up at the Hot Drinks section of the menu, on the wall above him, and showed him the "Breakfast Tea" item. He read it carefully. "We've never been asked for that" he said, clearly baffled. My companion pointed to a box of teabags on the shelf behind him, labelled "Breakfast tea". He looked at the coffee machine when she mentioned adding hot water to the tea bag, uncertain as to whether we were asking for something beyond his realm of competence. But I then decided I was too parched to spend time teaching him how to make a decent cup of tea, so opted for bottled water instead. And it was great water: cold and free of tapioca, just how I like it. 😃

Flavalanche? More like flavafail. I was highly anticipating taking my American friends to what I thought would be a high point of their visit to Bristol - a truly wonderful city in the main. However, my expectations were immediately lowered when I observed the far from endearing exterior of the shop. I thought the situation could have been rectified by the novelty of the product inside, however, this was far from the case due to just 2 from 4 machines having any fro-yo in them. Nonetheless, my disenchantment only increased when I found out that 2 of the 4 remaining fro-yo flavors were melted - how did this place pass a food inspection?! One of the two flavors was coffee, so if you aren't a coffee-lover like me, you were only left with the one - original. Now, onto the toppings. The choices were limited and I was not impressed by the lack of fresh fruit. The interior decor of the shop made it uninviting. It was dark and dingy and the worker was not there to greet us as we walked in. I would have hoped for more hospitality. The worker sat on her phone while we attempted to serve our runny, melted yogurt and did not offer to help or even apologize for the ruined product. Just like an avalanche, this was an utter disaster.

The ice cream and yoghurt here is delicious and the surroundings inside the shop is funky too. The concept is good, whereby you take a tub and help yourself, including many tempting toppings. You pay by weight so it's easy to get a surprise at the till. Good fun though.

We went here for frozen yoghurt but ended up with what seems to be melted soft serve instead. When we were using the machine the “yoghurt” was already melting coming out from the pump. Also, the toppings weren’t fresh, the marshmallow was quite solid, the biscuits were rather stale and there were no fruit options available. Super disappointed with this experience! I’m definitely not going back for their frozen yoghurt again!

This place used to be my favourite. The natural yoghurt was smooth and perfectly balanced with sweet and sour. Now, it’s Icey, chunky, and quite frankly absolutely disgusting. All the toppings looked stale like they’d been out and not refilled for a long time. Used to be fresh fruit and a wider range and now there’s a few crusty marshmallows. I’m so sad this was my favourite place!!! :(

Awful bubble tea. The place next door (Korean Supermarket) had no hot water, so decided to try here instead. What a mistake. Lovely lady serving, but the tea was just awful. Looks like it was made from powdered milk, didn't taste anything like authentic bubble tea.....just a weird taste. Like a glass of powdered milk with tapioca added. Do not attempt......just go next door and get the authentic thing.

One of the only places which is open till 11pm. The coffee portions are huge, the pastries are fresh and lovely. There is a good variety of hot and cold food and drink. Nice comfortable seating upstairs.

There is such a wide range of sweet/savoury food options available and the coffee was lovely. The poor guy working wasn't quite prepared for the rush of customers as the rain hit, but he handled it well and even gave me a small dessert by way of an apology! Absolutely would recommend and will be coming here again

I had a scoop of rhubarb and custard for £2.50. There were interesting fudgy toppings inside and the flavour was good but it became grainy as I continued eating which was unpleasant. Although my friend had the banana something and that was not grainy.

Like other similar reviews, my friend and I were walking passed and the cakes on display enticed us in. I paid £7 for a cinnamon bun and a smashing pumpkin slice to takeaway, which was on the expensive side. The cinnamon swirl was tasty but the pumpkin slice was stale, dry and incredibly hard, it also tasted like it was going off so I chucked the majority of it away. Not surprising as the cakes aren't covered. Not impressed, expensive and waste of money. You've seen all the bad reviews saying the same thing so why don't you do something about it?! Covering up cakes for freshness isn't going to cost you much at all!

one of the worst cakes I have ever eaten! I did not finish it because it is surely days old. the sponge was hard and the raspberry on top does not seem fresh either. after telling the waitress that the cake seems old she gave us an other one which is equally bad. Would not recommend this place if you are craving for good cake. very dissapointed.

Really lovely Krispy Kreme. Very friendly staff and quick servers. Very clean with toilets on site. Prices are really good and there is plenty of indoor seating. There is a drive through so helps if you don't want to go in. You can watch the donuts being made here, so an added bit if interest. You can get a few souviners in here, along with lots of delicious donuts.

we pulled up around 9:45pm which is near the end of opening times for them. pull up to the window and we had never been before so asked for a little time to gather what we wanted. my friend was vegan and hence we asked about the options with boxes and what was suitable. we were greeted with one of the most polite, enthusiastic and helpful people we have ever dealt with at a drive through, she worked through the options slowly with us until we were happy and even then gave us a couple extra that they had left for the day. exceptional service with a smile, definitely going back! (vegan options were pukka by the way) Kenzie, you are the best! 🤟🏼

I really liked this place - the staff greeted everyone with freshly made mini donuts at the counter for a start! The place was clean and tables were cleared quickly. It was the huge choice of donuts, along with the friendly staff, that influenced my 5 star rating. Their coffee is good too!

Went through the druve through and was served by Mitchell. Great member of staff, i asked questions and he answered in confidence. He chose some doughnuts for us and his choices were 10 10. After my purchase i left but came back within 5 mins as the service was so fast and friendly i just had to buy 6 more!!!! Thank you Mitch

I love this place, one of the best Krispy Kreme shops in town. They've got this tiny donut factory in the shop with a massive see through glass so you can watch the donuts coming out of the oven and going through the amazing glaze fall. You feel like you could watch this forever. Plus they give out fresh ones sometimes for free! This shop has always a good selection of fresh doughnuts that haven't been sitting on the shelf all day as they are usually quite busy. The guys there are very nice and friendly too and you can buy cool branded merch like the cups and mugs.

Yummy sweet sticky gooie doughnuts! I'm not a doughnut person but wanted to treat my kids. We got a great deal on a whole tray, they got to choose each flavour and really enjoyed it 😁

I hired Orchard Coffee for a private event and would highly recommend it. We were a group of 45 and it was a perfect size space. Betsy was really helpful through the whole process of planning the event and there was a lovely team there on the night. The food was delicious (and plenty of it). The space is really adaptable for different party requirements - we had long tables for food then moved them for dancing later.

A great spot for brunch! The café is spacious with beautifully designed interiors. I had the Royale Stack, and the portion was satisfying. The dish was well-seasoned and balanced with some fresh greens. The pancakes were soft with a slight chew, and had a lovely milky flavor. Really enjoyed both the food and the coffee!

Such a lush spot to chill out for a while! I’ve been here several times for coffees but this time got and some food and - stop it now. How does one manage to make a sweet potato salad sandwich taste so bloody good?? I’ve tried to replicate this at home (without luck). Truly my compliments to the chef. The staff are lovely and attentive too, even when sat on the raise balcony they were regularly by to check if I needed anything. Will 100% be returning

Me and my boyfriend have come here a few times and every time we had a great experience. The food is so tasty, you would do well to find a better breakfast anywhere else in Bristol, it really is amazing here. Highly recommend

We had my wife’s 50th birthday party at The Orchard Coffee & Co, and it was nothing short of amazing. The venue was absolutely perfect - chilled, relaxed, and full of charm. Everyone who came along commented on how great the space was, and it created just the right vibe for a relaxed but special celebration. The food was epic - delicious pizzas, vibrant salads, wedges and flavour-packed frittatas. There was something for everyone, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. A huge shoutout to Betsy, the events manager, who was phenomenal throughout. She went above and beyond to help us shape the day into exactly what we wanted - thoughtful, responsive, and full of great ideas. She even made sure there was gluten-free local beer on draft, which was a lovely touch. On the day, we turned up with decorations and the team took care of everything. Setup was stress-free and beautifully done. Fran and Bean, who were running front of house, were both absolutely lovely - warm, attentive, and a joy to have hosting our friends and family. We’d recommend The Orchard 100% to anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly, and deliciously catered venue for a special occasion. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A perfect weekday morning find! This cosy spot is ideal for getting some work done in peace. The Cuban smoked ham and cheese croissant was absolutely astounding. Flaky, savoury, and packed with flavour. The coffee was top-notch too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great bite and a productive start to the day!

I had my 30th birthday party at the Orchard and it exceeded expectations. Before the event I spoke a lot with the event organizer, and she was so helpful and encouraging, which really added to my excitement! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we barely needed any decorations for the venue because it's such a beautiful space. The food was tray bake pizzas, salads, and the most unbelievable potato wedges I have ever had!! They were also so accommodating for the various dietary requirements for the guests. Could not recommend this venue or the people more, excited to attend some of their monthly events/pop in for brunch very soon! Thank you very very much!!

Delicious gluten free, vegan cake - so happy about the choice as well! The feeds 8-12 cake was devoured by 6 vegans and non vegans in one sitting - big chocolate covered smiles all around :) Will be going here for future bday cakes FOR SURE!

Amazing cake order for my Boyfriends 40th Birthday as we were staying in Bristol and celebrating with family. I've been vegan for almost 5 years now and tried a few cakes in that time but the Black Forest Gateau cake was by far the most delicious I've had!

I moved to the UK in 2019 a month before my birthday. Every year since, my husband orders my birthday cake here and we are never anything less than impressed. Best vegan cake in Bristol! Actually i'd say best cake I've ever had, vegan or not! Honestly so delicious, enough for my husband and I to ask them to make our wedding cake. Guests had no clue it was vegan too, just perfect sponge cake! Excellent and friendly customer service!

I regularly visit Earthcake, and I've never been less than delighted with the quality of what they create. The gluten-free carrot cake is especially delicious. Ordering my partner's birthday cake from this business was a seamless process, and the cake looked and tasted great. I would recommend this bakery to anyone; these guys are the best in Bristol.

I had a cookie from here the other day and it was super tasty, they are all oddly shaped but they makes them taste even better this also means that they are sold by weight . This is a very small shop and the staff are nice and friendly. Service was super fast, less than 1 min so ideal for a drive by cookie buying, they also sell drinks and coffe

I thought the cookies were nice, not great. I had the macadamia nut and white chocolate. My wife had a milk chocolate one. They were a bit small for the price. Don't think I would bother again. But worth checking out.

I ordered some prosecco and raspberry cupcakes for my husbands birthday weekend and I can say hands down Greg makes the best cake I've ever tasted. I don't normally have a sweet tooth but will always make an exception for cakes as delicious as these. A true treasure on Hanham High Street but I'd happily go halfway across the UK for cake of this quality.

Lovely owner and staff, great coffee, and omg the cakes are phenomenal! Really interesting flavours of cupcake, like raspberry and prosecco or jaffa cake. The icing is not sickly sweet like you get in some places. I had a peanut butter cookie, which is the owner's mum's secret recipe, and I've never tasted anything so good! I wish I lived nearer, though if I did, I think I would be in every day and get extremely fat!

First visit today, I really liked the no rush atmosphere (as in no pressure to eat and get out) good coffee, great cake, prepacked sandwiches but all at reasonable prices. Friendly service without being over the top. Milkshakes are £5 which stopped us having one but apart from that we will deffo be back. Also lovely chilled house dog there.

Just wanted to say, the cakes were just magnificent (Big shoutouts to Midget Grandma). The show of respect was unbelievable as before I ate my cake we all took the knee and had a moment of silent led by Cal the Dragon. All together a pleasurable experience, I can see why it's so highly regarded now. Although the experience was great there was a suspicious odor coming from one of the other customer mouth but you cant control that can you.

I have now bought 2 birthday novelty cakes from Sticky Fingers, and both of them have been out of this world. They didn't only look amazing but they tasted just as good as they looked. I would definitely recommend them. They also do great coffee btw!

Unfortunatelt not a great experience going here, we went on Xmas eve, barely got a hello. Regrettably the photos looked a million times better than the actual products tasted. Spent a good amount of money on cakes, blondie and biscuits and none of them tasted nice (imo). Shortbread was raw and cakes had a very unusual taste. Marshmallow and meringue were very grainy, not sure if it was supposed to be like that....
