Popped in after a hike in the area and was greeted so warmly by (I think) the manager - such a friendly welcome! The whole team made me feel right at home, and then came the highlight: the best jacket potato I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Stopped here August 2025 whilst biking around Anglesey. Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely little cafe and good selection of food with plenty of vegan / gluten free options. We only had hot drinks and cakes (vegan cake & a gluten free / vegan cake) but can’t wait to go back and try lunch. Take away or sit in available. Worth a visit.

Staying on the high street , so we came for a breakfast to take out .. full English was lovely good quality fresh food and the French toast was perfect . Excellent value for money friendly staff and good choice on menu .
There is a discount if you buy food to take out and a surcharge if you buy to eat in. Surely both these cannot be true? Charging more not to stand eating in the rain (add 50p if you want a pie warmed) I understand.
The pricing shows takeaway cost first, this is confusing and I feel disappointed to be charged over £5 for a chocolate muffin.

Really lovely cafe serving a variety of tasty and interesting homemade choices across breakfast and lunch. Friendly atmosphere, and staff could not have looked after us any better, dog included. Cakes and scones (enjoyed later at home) were superb. Pricing very reasonable. Just great, made our day after a gorgeous coastal walk.

Had a mocha and a flat white with a slice of brownie and carrot cake, we actually had an free extra slice because of a small slice issue! Both were really delicious my brownie was rich,chocolatey extremely gooey with a nice crisp on the outside. My partner's carrot cake was moist and light perfect and tasty. Chatting with the staff whilst paying we found they were all home made. Super super good.
I ordered Welsh Rarebit and a pot of tea. Food was fresh and definitely homemade. Tea was leaf tea which was a nice touch. Service was good. Only a wobbly table top and chair legs to drop to 4 stars. Otherwise great.
An absolute delight. Dog friendly but also people friendly too. Really lovely staff and gorgeous food. The sweet potato hash that came with the breakfast I must admit I wasn't particularly interested in, that is until it arrived and I soon changed my mind, accompanied with the perfectly fried tomato, I am now a convert!

Friendly welcoming staff! Went out of their way to sort us a table with enough room for 6 adults 3 dogs and a child! Very accommodating,amazing food! Gluten free options also available, lovely place will return for some more tasty food next year!

Just called in for a breakfast and it was brilliant the portions were not small,you could tell that by looking at customers faces when their food came out.Coffees came to the table at just the right time so it was cold when you had finished your breakfast.Our order was taken by a lovely young lady who was very polite and helpful.The cafe was busy,but we only waited about 10 minutes.The breakfast was lovely and filled us up for most of the day.Will we go again when we are in that area most definitely 😁
First time going here and won't be the last, ive been coming to our caravan near valley for years and never even knew about this place, it's the best breakfast I've had in anglesey, yes the price is not too cheap but you pay for decent food and this was well worth the money in my opinion, my only criticism was maybe putting a little butter mixed in with the beans which in my opinion always elevates any beans cheap or not.
I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to anglesey
It was our first visit to Relish cafe. We had two full breakfasts toast, a latte and a pot of tea. I have to say it will not be the last visit. The staff were pleasant and professional really lovely to see.

A lovely cafe. I've probably been 7 or 8 times, every time I visited Anglesey. It's always been busy when I've been which tells you all you need to know about the quality.
Dog friendly too.
Very busy and for good reason! Even whilst full they still accommodated 6 lads and full English breakfasts.

It's busy. I think that's largely due to location.
There was a longer than average wait time, but not surprising because of how busy it was.
The food arrived hot, one of the drinks was medium instead of large. Overall it was a bit better than average.
The server was nice.
Might be our most disappointing visit to a McDonald's ever. Greeted with signs saying no soft drinks, a real winner on a hot summer's day. Once we'd ordered, our food my wrap was missing and had to chase it up. The rest of the food, our fries in particular was cold. The toilets, both female male were dirty, the women's having clumps of hair scattered around.
Ordered a plain half pounder cheeseburger ended up with a normal quarter pounder. I've worked in hospitality for years how hard can it be to put a plain burger in an order for a plain burger

perhaps on the expensive side for some but similar to all of the other independent coffee shops on anglesey (and rhosneigr prices)
it can get very busy but for take away coffee and cake it's usually fairly quick. dog friendly inside and out but keep in mind there isn't masses of space especially when it's busy.

The last two nights I've been part of a large yoga group and we've been catered for in the most incredible way by Becky and the team. Full three course meals with a pallet cleanser in-between too! They catered to multiple food intolerances along the way. Always smiling, always polite and respectful and the food was absolutely incredible, so tasty. Thanks so much to all of you. I can't recommend you highly enough.
Visit quite often. Lovely cafe, great food and amazing coffee. Visited twice whilst camping, enjoyed a taco night and had breakfast the next day. Both were amazing. And great that you are dog friendly. Will be back!
Food was very good, if priced top end for Anglesey. Ate outside in the sun which was a bonus. There are loads of pictures of good and varied food from here, I just munched happily enjoying the sun with my family.

We cane here on a stormy day so it was very busy and packed out, as all the tourists piled in. But it was a nice warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We ordered coffee and cake which were excellent. We did order food on this occasion but they had plenty of vegan options that looked great!

Service was okay, I was accompanying an elderly gentleman with mobility issues, he sat on a table with 4 service covers, we were asked if we could move to a table for 2, it wasn't particularly busy but I understood their reasoning.
I ordered a scone with butter, it was very dry, there was a very small portion of butter which didn't help.
Nice warm atmosphere, few dogs which is never a problem.
The atmosphere here is open and friendly and welcomes well behaved dogs. On my holiday we returned twice because of the absolutely delicious food options! Every meal was flavourful - I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with pulled pork

Can’t fault it. Turned up after they’d stopped service of hot food but they still sorted us with generous, homemade portions of quiche and pasty with chips. Beautifully made food and friendly service - all at a fair price.
Welsh rarebit was a bit stoggy and crispy bacon was anything but.
Chips with cheese and crispy bacon was definitely lacking the cheese and once again the bacon was not crispy. So, having waited quite a while was pretty disappointed overall.
They were very busy and warned of a delay in our order being served. That was fine. Nice outside seating.
It did seem a member of staff wasn't good under pressure. A smile doesn't cost anything and adds to a smooth running 'ship'

Absolute little gem. Very hearty, good food and it's always served hot. The cakes are gorgeous, especially the brownie and rocky road, and the breakfasts are awesome! Really set you up for a day walking around the beautiful island of Anglesey. They do Sunday lunch too but it's advisable to book as it gets very busy. The Sunday lunches are awesome aswell. In fact, we've always had very good meals here. Highly recommend 👌
Love this cafe, very friendly staff who help in every way they can. Over our stay we have had breakfast, which is amazing, good coffee and great selection of homemade cakes. Good choice on Lunch which we had on Sunday. Great atmosphere and very welcoming. They also do dog treats including ice cream.
Prices are good and fair, you dont feel like you are being ripped off as the quality of food is so good.

The food was absolutely delicious 😋 we ordered a cream tea for 2 at £6.75 and a pot of tea for 2 £4.
The scone was so light, both crumbly and crisp, perfect. Bara fruit loaf was also included and very moreish. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend a visit

I was looking at one of the apartments above with an estate agent when the weather turned for the worse (as it often does on this island), so took shelter for a while and glad I did… delicious breakfast served quickly and happily. Full of locals having a good chat and catch up with each other. Great spot, especially on a clear day !

So basically the location is great, staff were good but the food was of no use. We paid £9.95 for this burger and all I got is a stupid bun with Tesco/Aldi breast piece.
So I would highly recommend not buy any food which I think is really not worth the money.

Great location. Stayed on the marina site, but didn't use any of the facilities as had our own luxury apartment to stay in! All looked fine though if you're visiting the area.
Lovely service food was delicious and the kids really enjoyed it. The staff was brilliant and really helpful. We congratulated the gent who come in from Ireland. Kayaking the whole way raising £10000 amazing. And the boats where fabulous to look at

the food isn't the best you've ever eaten, it's inexpensive community cafe food, but its fairly quick, theyre good portions, and lots available on the menu to choose from. (a special mention to the portion sizes of chips, they are larger than average!)

it is dog friendly and well laid out. there is enough space around the tables for my assistance dog to be able to lie comfortably without being in the way.

What a portion! We all had the Feast Breakfast for £10.40 around early lunch time and I can confirm it lasts a whole day, we didn’t get hungry that day at all even though we went on a hike later on as well! Excellent value for money, and everything was delicious, staff were friendly too.

Okay so it's not an exquisite restaurant. I wouldn't consider this to be a high-end place. However if you want good food at a great price... This could be your place. I enjoyed the turkey dinner that I had. I was with others who had sandwiches and everyone thought the food was great.

Popular cafe centrally located. Extensive menu particularly strong on all day breakfast including build your own at £1 an item. Quick service, pleasant staff. Good tea and coffee. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely go back. There is a large seating area through the back so check for free tables there. Only negative they keep back door open to cool kitchen down but cold to sit near it even though they said we could close if we needed to.

What a lovely little cafe! Popped in for lunch with our 2 children. The staff were very welcoming and super quick! I had jacket potato, my partner had the breakfast and the kids had a burger with fries and egg, chips and beans. Portions were massive, so big that none of us were hungry by tea time! Food was a good price .staff were really friendly but when it came to the food .Well that was outstanding .really nice and large portions .I was so impressed that I will be going again just to try the Turkish breakfast just to see what it's like .
It's so nice to try these cafes but it's even better when it's so nice .thought I would show you the menu but they also have specials on the board .
My wife loved the lambs liver but I will take her word for that as I don't like liver but she loved it .

Bit noisy with people outside the room late at night and the train sat running REALLY early but it is direct on the ferry port. Loved the room it was nicely decorated and comfortable. Plenty of tea,coffee,milk,sugars etc.Quality bedding and towels. Lovely lady served us and made our breakfast which was the best we've had at anywhere we've stayed
I happen to walk in the day of reopening after a very well done refurbish .

The lady behind the bar was very friendly and chatty , The other people in the pub seemed nice and friendly.
It’s so convenient being dead opposite the port and even let me charge my phone and laptop .

Close to the station. Makeshift place. But it did the job for one night. We couldn’t eat the sausages at breakfast. They were off. Nice staff. And they have a dog who drinks at the bar. Which was novel.

Stayed for one night after arriving on late ferry at Holyhead. Reception agreed to stay open until we got there after midnight for check-in which was great. The lady who showed us to our room was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spot on for the one night quick stay. Tidy room. Kettle. Great shower. TV.
Breakfast the next day was great - full English and some cereal options too.
The hotel definitely is ‘rough and ready’. On our late arrival there was some drunk locals sat at the bar - which is also the reception for check-in. There is a musty cigarette smell when you first walk in and the decor is quite out of date. Not so much parking next to the hotel is also a slight downfall. Aesthetics aside the hotel is great and fit for purpose!
These are rooms attached next to a local bar. To paraphrase the manager, they do not pretend to be something they are not. That being said, it was a pleasant one night while we catch a ferry or train. Easy walk, (once you know which direction from the station).
Room was tiny (especially with luggage) including bathroom, but was clean with comfortable beds and good towels. Surprisingly quiet, even with the window open a bit. Wifi was good. Full english breakfast was filling and one of the better ones we've had. The staff, Kelly and manager Sandra were hospitable, friendly and super nice (in a colorful barkeep way...they don't take much gruff, but give a lot of laughter).
Good local pub right on entrance to ferry port, basic but clean and comfortable rooms, with kettle and hairdryer,good powerful shower. Staff very friendly and helpful, good cooked breakfast. Lidl next door. Can't hear the bar from the room. Some traffic noise when ferry offloads but the 2am one I didn't hear so couldn't have been too loud as I am a light sleeper. For 70 quid a night it's great. Well done 👍

I am going to compare. This Tesco Cafe is much better than one in Bangor. It has a more cosy atmosphere, and all the fittings are not so worn-out. On day we went it looked they were short staffed but lady which served us still smiled and prepared lovely coffees for us. Food was pleasant and surprisingly good.
Arrived at 1735, to then be told "takeaway only". So I said, what time to you shut, the answer, "1800". I was not amused. I'm guessing they didn't want to wash up 2 proper mugs!

The food was served almost immediately after we ordered, which was a major red flag. It clearly wasn’t fresh, and it tasted as bad as it looked. The portion size was ridiculously small for the price, and to make things worse, the cutlery was dirty — completely unacceptable.
Definitely would not recommend and won’t be returning.

Came here with my family before a long 3 hour drive home from our holiday. Waited over half an hour for food. Went up to the lady working behind the till and asked her politely when we could expect the food and she was extremely rude and replied 'dont know'. When the food came the order was wrong and the panini looked awful. Won't be returning

Had the best cafe experience ever at this little Gem in Benllech, all our food was served quickly and was obviously all home made and super tasty!! Great range of drinks and cakes if you have a sweet tooth! Proper homemade chips are a must ! Even some amazing doggy treats for sale and our little fur baby loved doggy ice cream. Perfect after a day on the beach! Service was top class this manager knows what she’s doing, what a lovely welcome, we will be back !! 🩷🩷
Great experience! We had our first visit to the cafe for brunch and couldn’t believe we hadn’t been before! The big full breakfast was huge and very tasty. My grandma loved her waffle too, will definitely be back to try one myself! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

This place is fantastic. We've just had lunch and dessert here. My goodness, everything is so tasty! We had burgers, jacket potatoes, toasties and teacakes. The desserts were gorgeous, and my husband and I had our first bubble waffles! AMAZING! The lady working today was very friendly and we can't wait to return next year.
Didn’t have the best experience here. The girl serving us was very abrupt and didn’t seem to want to be there. Maybe she was having a bad day who knows but we just felt a bit awkward from the get go. I’d expect for the price that the sandwiches would come with a side portion of salad or crisps at least. And the Jumbo hotdog was literally just a normal sized dry hot dog bun with skinny hot dogs. I think if we’re paying generous prices then the food should reflect that but it seems to miss the mark unfortunately. The cakes were really really nice though. Although we didn’t have any the waffle cones looked amazing.

Found this place, as arrived an hour early for a course and remembered I passed a sign for a cafe. What a great place, love the history of a train station that's now a cafe. Food is just wonderful good prices, love the drawings of characters from the area on the wall, little store of local creative art along side. Staff are lovely and even though I was alone, customers were happy to chat. I loved it so much I took my friend for breakfast a week after. It's my new place to go for good food
Stopped when we first arrived on the island for a coffee and cake stop. Was really impressed so came back for a parting breakfast stop. The food was perfect. Freshly cooked to order so a bit if a wait when busy but well worth it. Great staff. Friendly and professional.

We were on Anglesey for the day and needed somewhere for a late lunch. We passed the entrance but turned round and glad we did. We had 2 dogs with us and made to feel welcome by the young girl who served us. We both had the all day breakfast and a pot of tea which was good value and well cooked.
We like to support local businesses not just big chains and it was lovely to see a place that seems to be a hub of the community, as looked like a local meeting place. There is a lovely community garden right next to it and a play area.
Lovely respite from the heat after a walk. Good selection on menu. Fresh salad with paninis and great tea. Supplied water and biscuits for the dog! Staff very friendly and interesting community gardens to investigate.
This cafe is a gem! There's a really good vegan menu available, including a full breakfast and they have plant milk. The coffee is excellent too. Clive and the team are super helpful and it's a nice open space. They have a little area for local makers to sell AND there's an amazing collection of photographs showing the town through the years. There's a lovely peaceful area at the back, along the train track and plenty of parking. There are lots of little thoughtful touches, including in the bathrooms, which big food outlets could really learn from. I'm a fairly regular visitor to Ynys Môn and this cafe is on my list for future visits!
Had a beautifull hot breakfast today plentyfull and the cafe was spotlessly clean warm and comfy such polite welcoming people and we would recommend it highly

However, their 50th birthday buffet is highly praised as it provides an amazing selection of food that satisfies guests throughout the entire day and night. The place is known for its quick yet high-quality hot and cold food, always prepared to perfection.
I knew of only one place that could serve my breakfast hunger after just finishing work.

Lovely cafe in the middle of Llangefni. Had Turkish breakfast this morning and it tasted truly authentic with a variety of authentic spiced sausages, olives, a perfect fried egg, halloumi and feta cheeses, assorted pastries plus honey comb and cream cheese, Turkish jam. Really friendly staff - and modern cafe jazz vibe was a real bonus. Thinking about making this place my mobile office!

Always a delight to see Aysh and taste her lovely Turkish food, the mixed Mezze is my favourite. They also have other non-Turkish food which is well priced and plentiful. I recommend trying the Turkish coffee, if only for the Turkish delight that comes with it. Diolch Aysh!
The cafe is lovely inside with comfy chairs and is very bright and clean. We ordered the large breakfast and it was excellent, good quality ingredients and cooked well. The service was very good as well, lots of staff who were quick to serve you and did a good job cleaning tables as people left. Highly recommend
Amazing food, the owners really make the effort to provide fresh quality and the presentation is excellent with delicious side salads and generous portions. I live on the island about a 15 minute drive and take all my family and friends when they come to visit. Really is great. I'm vegan so always have the vegan lasagne but family and friends have tried lots of items off the menu and they are all equally impressed.

Had a lovely breakfast ,lots to eat and the toast was lovely. Staff were friendly. The only issue we had were the takeaway scones we treated ourselves too,at £4.50 each they were in the higher price side. They were huge but unfortunately over worked which made them to close knit and dry. (I baked for a living). I think the clotted cream was also frozen and defrosted as it was very hard to spread (doesn't freeze that well).
There weren't many options in this town for lunch, quite a few eating places closed, so we ended up at the Cost Corner Cafe.
Nice cup of coffee and a fairly decent sandwich. I had tuna and sweet corn and my partner had lamb.
Good prices.
Would visit again.

A beautiful and warm welcoming sandwich shop for all who feel hungry in the morning :) . I had few spare minutes waiting for my train and I decided to come here and try some Welsh breakfast . I went with a pork bun with a little salad and apple sauce and latte . It is an excellent choice , the meat was wonderfully juicy , warm and tasted like heaven . You can seat inside or outside . The service was also very friendly and quick . I recommend this little shop and give it 5 stars .

Fantastic little shop serving amazing food! Went here for the first time on the Saturday morning just gone and myself and my sisters received some amazing customer service. I think one girl was called Charlie and she was accompanied by a younger girl with glasses whom deserves the same amount of praise and recognition! They were both not only efficient and clean with the food, but lovely with us and other customers who came in.
I went back in today and was not disappointed with my tuna melt panini! Incredible! 10/10 place and deserves so much praise!

Great food with a little bit of something for everyone. We went for breakfast baps which we couldnt fault. I'm a fat bast*rd and was very satisfied! Absolutely disgusting! Ordered full English which came with wooden knife and fork. Sausages dried up hard and cold. Bacon was like the tongue of a trainer, black pudding was like rock, hash brown was like a soggy sponge. The fork actually broke trying to cut the bacon. Worst breakfast ever had, no atmosphere, and bloke serving was a miserable tw¥t! Even the dog turned her nose up!
I found Picnics over a year ago. I deliver Motor Homes to the Port at Holyhead & then I have an hour to kill before taking a Train back to Yorkshire. I head up to Picnics every time I'm in Holyhead.
The Best Pork, Stuffing & Apple Sauce Sandwich on the planet.
Lovely People run Picnics.

Walked around Beaumaris just wanted something cheap and cheerful we came across this deli with a small seating area, thought we gave it a try, my word it’s so worth it. every sandwich and pie are homemade and tasty 😋 you will not be disappointed, the shop also offers large variety of drinks.

Astonishingly poor and blatantly rude customer service which as per another reviewer seemed to depend on which counter you stood at and how familiar one is to the staff. Having waited at one counter where a customer was served in front of me, I was then ignored for several minutes before being asked to wait at an alternative counter and greeted with 'you'll have to wait your turn as other people have ordered before you' before I could even place my order. No bathroom facilities and drinks order not provided accurately. Such a shame given other local proprietors were welcoming, friendly and provide basic common courtesy!

We stopped in this shop for a quick lunch. Sausage rolls were a highlight. Paninis and burger were decent. We also perused the kitchen and food items in the attached market. Would have loved to buy a few things if we weren’t traveling light.

Supposed to be family friendly, I think that only counts if you are a local and go into the pub every weekend. Me and my family were staying at the travel lodge before getting a ferry the next day. We walked in excited to have a Sunday dinner and the entire pub went silent and stared at us not a single person had a friendly bone. Walked straight back out. A shame, not even the bar staff were friendly.
When we visited, very randomly, they only had a roast available and lucky for us that is all we wanted. It was so damn good—just what our soul needed.
We dined today and had a great experience. The food was really good, and the place was so neat and clean. Chicken curry meals were really good . Beef burger too. Chicken burger is okay. Overall, we're satisfied with the price and quality.
