Such a cute restaurant, situated next to the ocean with stunning views. The food was excellent. You can choose from either sweet or savory crepes. We ordered 4 different crepes and our favorite was the ham and onion crepe. If you like the taste of onions from the French Onion Soup, then you need to order this one! The crepes were delicious! I highly recommend with or without kids!

With so many creperies in the town, it was no easy choice, but this was a winner with the view of the sea. Their "Super Complet" galette had a perfectly cooked filling and crispy corners. I found the cappuccino weak and slightly bitter, even with a spoonful of honey, which I was charged €1 for 😏

With a great vue and great crepes, absolutely. They get quite busy though! Book a table for sure.
We went there on 8th of April as it was recommended as the best place to have crepes. We had to wait at least 15/20 minutes before someone came to take our order. After other 20/25 minutes our crepes arrived but one was wrong order so we had to wait again. Regarding the food, it was nothing special, we had better quality and taste in different places around. The cider was really good at least.
Amazing restaurant on the ramparts, crêpes are reasonably priced and delicious, the cider is a good pairing with the crepe. Good food, friendly atmosphere, rustic decor. Desert crepes "La Derrible" was to die for
This place has two things that worth the trip : the view and the crêpe . This crêperie is located on the old walls of Saint Malo Seat on the part of sunset so go there for sunset time and you will have an expérience of taste and of beauty ! The menu has plenty choice of crêpes , i tested two and were delicious … mine with apples … they know there job !
Best galettes in St-Malo! We returned again for breakfast twice in a row. Amazing location for watching people jump off the lido diving board and they serve perfectly crispy-edged galettes with plenty of variety on the menu. A must-visit!
I'm glad that I went on my first day. It was a Sunday evening and there were plenty of seats available. After that, it was full almost every evening.
The galette was very good. It was cooked just right, kinda crispy at the bottom. The cheese was tasty as well. I was disappointed by the salad, it was drenched in the dressing.
Later, I had a 5 euro galette from a cheap street vendor. It's not comparable. This one was much better and totally worth paying extra.

I was curious because they have 4.9 score in Google. Place was cozy, ambience and service 👏👏👏 but when it comes to the food my chicken tart was excellent, I love the combination with the plum. My french husband was disappointed with the crêpes and the amount of food. This restaurant is good to try but we prefer the crêpes in the corner. Minus one star for overly buttered crêpes that's almost 10€. As you can see in the photos below, the presentation is average. Paid almost 85€ for those, plus drinks (cidre+coffee).
There is a reason why this place has a high rate on Google maps. And I can confirm starting from the staff and the food everything is excellent. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area. Thank you for having us and making our afternoon special.

We stopped by Bergamote for galettes, and wow! They were amazing. You can tell everything’s made with care and great ingredients. We happened to be some of the first customers of the day, and the team welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!
Bergamote pulls off the neat trick of feeling like a very high-end establishment whilst being easygoing, affordable and above all excellent at what it does. In our case we always have the galettes and crepes, which are among the best we have had and definitely the best we have had (out of about 4 other establishments) in St Malo. This was our third visit and the high standards never slip. Along with all the above, service is impeccable and the decor inside feels a tad luxurious. You’d think all this would come at a premium cost, but browsing around the town, its prices seem pretty much on par with the local competition. Highly recommended.
We tried two different crêpes. The chocolate sauce crêpe was quite good and we enjoyed it. However, the savory crêpe was just okay and didn't really stand out. The coffee here is excellent, definitely a highlight! However, the service was quite slow, and the prices were a bit on the expensive side.
We sneaked out of our tour and spotted this lovely cafe that we ordered a crepe with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was heavenly out of this world. Best chocolate sauce I have ever had. Complementing the dessert with a pot of hot earl grey tea was the perfect match.
The service was attentive and friendly. Really lucky to have stopped by and gotten such wonderful treat.

We walked about the vielle ville and tried to find a spot that was not too trendy/pricey and not too touristy/kiddie. Tough task! Finally we alighted on a courtyard with beautiful trees and 3-4 crêperies to choose from. Margaux was rated well and the menu sported a few artisanal cidres to choose from so we took a seat en pleine aire. We enjoyed the savory galettes a lot and should have stopped there but gave into the lure of a sweet crepes. Why not when In Bretagne? Atmosphere was great. Savories, yes. Sweets, less so.

The best crêperie in Saint Malo at a cute and beautiful green square in the city center. We tried multiple crêperies during our stay, and this is the one we came back to. The galettes are not too salty and taste delcious. The service is very quick and the waiter is nice and professional.
Nestled in the beautiful Intra Muros at the top of the city in a small square, you’ll find the renowned Creperie Margaux. The Creperie is cosy so you may find yourself waiting for a table as the food here is very popular with locals and tourists, but there is outdoor seating so on sunny days you can sit and enjoy your crepe whilst watching the world go by. The sweet and savoury options on the menu make deciding on what to have a tough choice, or if you have worked up an appetite, there’s no reason why you can’t have both.

This restaurant is amazing! First of all, it is in a great location, within the old city walls. However, the food is even better than the location. We had a few different ciders, galettes, and crepes. Our waiter was very friendly and happy to answer our questions about the food (we all spoke French, but were not familiar with all the local foods). They allowed me to 'construct' my own dessert (I can eat galettes, but not crepes, so this was great for me). They also have a wide variety of flavors and foods that I haven't seen anywhere else. For example, they have ginger ice cream, which is delicious but very, very hard to find. This is definitely the best creperie I have found in France. (Note: their galettes are made purely of buckwheat ("sarrasin"/ "ble noir") so they are gluten free.)
We were incredibly disappointed considering the great reviews. The beurre sucré crepe was so dry and their specialty galettes were below average and we’ve been having crepes/galettes quite a bit!

We were brought here, by our friends that spend the Summers in France every year, before we began our journey home to London. I would have to say this is one of the best Crêperies I’ve visited. It felt so authentic in every possible way from the patrons, to the staff to the décor to the smell

Without a booking, we had to sit inside, which was a bit hot without aircon. The place was immaculately clean & the decor thoughtfully presented in back & white. Brittany, France, has surprised me with its delights! Due to a heat warning in Madrid, I had to find a cooler destination. Thankfully, Google led me to Dinard, Saint Malo, and Cancale in France. The food here is generally excellent, but Côte de Mar stands out. The restaurant boasts charming decor, warm service, and outstanding cuisine—truly a five-star experience! My crêpes were so delicious, I can almost taste them now!

Despite of their more interesting combination of ingredients, the galette wasn’t as good as expected for the price in terms of flavor and quantity compared to other restaurants in the area.
About the atmosphere, the dinning space wasn’t comfortable or spacious. The service was quick and lacked of explanations when we asked for recommendations.
Maybe the strength of the restaurant lies in their variety of wines and ciders, more than on the food. However, the cider was served open on the counter instead of on the table, and they didn’t wait for us to taste it.
Fantastic small restaurant specializing in Breton gallettes and crepes. I'm not an expert, but I think they extend traditional dishes slightly with different ingredients. For example, I had one with chorizo. That said there is no question for me that the execution is excellent. Definitely the best gallettes I've ever eaten (again, small sample size). I did not try the sweet crepes, but I would be surprised if they were not top notch as well. My only regret was I did not try the seaweed butter. At least so I could say I did.
They also have an extensive catalog of ciders. The server guided me to a brut that was excellent.
Speaking of the service, they were extremely friendly and patient with my pathetic attempts at using french words in a random order. I felt welcome as a solo diner seated at the bar, which was appreciated.
I did not have a reservation, but it seems like that would be a good idea. I thought given the density of creperies in Saint-Malo it would not be necessary, but next time I'll make one just to be sure.
If you are in Saint-Malo intra-muros (inside the walls?) and need some Briton food, highly recommend.

It was lovely to be back at the Café. As always, the food was original and delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Only point of improvement would be to avoid leaving the door wedged open on a rainy and windy evening - especially as our table was right adjacent. This was resolved with no fuss by our very friendly waitress.
Everything about the food and cider and service was wonderful, just as we remembered from years ago but we found the experience a little spoilt by being seated between two families with very young children who were quite disruptive. Not sure how that could be remedied other than having different rooms. Such an exclusive café was being treated like a bit like a creche.
It is not your regular creperie. And by being recommended by the Michelin guide, our expectations were high, but nothing to worry about as everything we had was delicious! From the snacks and little pickle salad, to their rolls and galettes. Maybe not cheap, but if you are after quality over quantity, this is your place. I could even enjoy several plates as a vegetarian. True gem in St Malo!💓

In particular, I found the waiting times almost unbearable. Then there was the noise (including their inappropriate “music”), the seating arrangement, which I found took some getting used to, the uncomfortable bar stools and finally quite some shortcomings in the service.

We even got annoyed by two little flies.
The reason for this restaurant being listed in the Michelin Guide is unclear to me.

We arrived with my two daughters at the restaurant at 18:30 from Mont Saint Michel, eager to taste their crepes after all the good reviews. The restaurant was completely empty inside and outside. A nice young man came and told us that all the tables were reserved at 19:00! We could have eaten the crepes in half an hour and go. More over, it is hard to believe that the whole restaurant was fully booked at 19:00.

Avoid! We asked for a table in the shade because why wife is pregnant and they proposed a table almost on the street where they were almost 10 tables available in front of us. No service. We were seated in a small room at the back although nicer tables were available. It was about 30 degrees inside that small room. We were ignored for 20 mins, could not even order drinks, despite of children sitting at the table having asked nicely to be attended. No service. We left.
Asked for coffees and deserts at around 12-13h. More than 10 empty tables. We were told that all tables are only for those that eat, if we want just coffee and desert - we should come back at 4pm. Best of luck with this attitude!

A lovely little place. After two weeks of making do with chips and cheese I was desperate for proper vegetarian food and Merci Monsieur has it, along with very friendly service (thank you to the woman serving who persevered with our terrible French).

Service is very friendly! We would definitely go back for this and their pastries and baguette. They also had a tester plate of their bread with dried fruit? that was delish but unfortunately sold out by the time we come.
Since discovering this place, I wonder if other place make sarassin pastry as well 🤩.

Pretty great for mini grocery! Leaving this review for any fellow vegans wondering about the offerings. The produce section is lovely, and there is plenty in the way of typical plant food options: fruits, veg, herbs, beans, grains, pastas.
