French restaurant
Ombelle, a French restaurant located at 19 bd du President Wilson, Dinard France, offers an exceptional dining experience. With its exquisite flavors and delightful dishes, it is definitely a must-try for any food enthusiast. The attentive and friendly staff contribute to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the place. Reservations are available for both lunch and dinner, with outdoor seating options offered as well. The restaurant accepts credit cards and provides table service. Convenient street parking is available nearby.
Amazing food, so many tastes encapsulated in each dish. Picture perfect presentation. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff and superb food. We just can’t wait to come again. Superlatives written in other comments are so correct !!!
Shake C — Google review
Was recommended this place and so thankful I came. Light, fresh and innovative food where every mouthful is just a joy and all beautifully presented. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Ombelle is exactly what a perfect restaurant should be. I can’t wait to return.
Jonathan B — Google review
We wanted to eat well, without the fuss and snobbery some top restaurants think is appropriate to sample excellent cuisine. We found that in Ombelle. Relaxed, cosy, in a stylish decor close to the seafront. Then came the choice of dishes: not many, which is always a good sign in my book...and all sounded creative, researched and tasty. The chef was also flexible, he concocted a wonderful vegetarian menu for my husband. I had mainly seafood dishes. Everything was freshly prepared, with herbs I'd never tasted, surprising combinations that enhanced ingredients. The wine was equally well chosen, and quite inexpensive by the glass. Altogether a great restaurant which I highly recommend.
Marie-Helene T — Google review
Last minute choice but what a great decision. Had a lovely evening. The food was clever, different, but not contrived and was absolutely delicious. Good value too even with some quite expensive wine. The best restaurant dinner we’ve had in many a year.
David S — Google review
Amazing food and great, caring service from the staff who, once informed that my wife was pregnant, verified before every course whether the ingredients were OK (e.g. Pasteurised).

This place was the BEST of all we visited during our 2wks stay in France! Everything was more than perfection from amuse bouch to desserts! Want to visit Dinard again just for Ombelle~

Beach
Nestled at the base of the walled city, Plage de Bon-Secours is a delightful and secluded beach that is ideal for families with young children. The highlight of this beach is the seawater pool, which provides a safe swimming area even during low tide. For those seeking adventure, there are legendary Diving Boards that offer an exhilarating experience.
Beautiful beach with an incredible natural pool that allows for swimming even with low tide. Very nice views both of the sea and the city. Would highly recommend visiting even if it’s too cold to swim, as it provides a great view. We visited nearing the end of August and had a great time!
Nico M — Google review
We had nothing to do so it was decided by chance to go to this beach. If we didn't have then we wouldn't happen to discover the beautiful Saint Malo. We would've stayed more if not for the bad weather.
Xhina C — Google review
If we hadn't had ferry cancelled at Santander we would not have seen beautiful St. Malo! Lovely walled city and spectacular views from the walls over Bon Secours beach and bay even with sea mist drifting in. Well worth a visit.
Sandra W — Google review
Due to the changes in the tides, especially when the sea recedes many meters, Rene Lesaunier had the idea of building a seawater pool, thus allowing his guests to swim all day long. The pool was built during the year 1937.
Natalie D — Google review
Very nice and clean beach, the tides are enjoyable. Not enough shade but I guess people are prefer sunshine. Temperature wise, it's not the warmest, it's the Atlantic.
Simon W — Google review
Great beach with an amazing salt water swimming pool, just pay attention to the eagles that will always try to steal your food and get your stuff!

Nestled between the beach and the bustling market, Oyster Club is a delightful fusion of a fish market, specialty foods store, and restaurant that truly celebrates seafood. Helmed by Tanguy Thomassin from Guilvinec, this charming spot offers an array of fresh catches daily—think delectable oysters, juicy lobsters, crabs, and even sea snails. The ambiance is relaxed yet inviting; diners can savor their meals at rustic blue tables while enjoying a fine glass of wine.
We had the most amazing dinner here - lots of local seafood choices, very friendly (and English speaking) service, great recommendations. We ordered oysters, fish head, octopus, langoustines, shrimp, baked clams - and everything was delicious!! Highly recommend this place and we will come back too, thank you!!!

Perfect Fish & Chips experience! Definitely worth a visit. The fish, Merlu, was very good, the chips were great and the tartar sauce finger licking yummy! The Smash brewery beer worth a try 😉 Service & ambience top. Thanks.
Jen C — Google review
Went for fish and chips, tried the amazing oysters with sourdough as well after seeing other delicious looking orders. Small gem of a restaurant with shaded outdoor patio and outstanding service from the staff. Sat and served us inside until a shaded patio table became available. Chips were amazing and the fish was light and flaky. Great spot!
Drew S — Google review
Perfect Experience 😀 Coming from England I would say the fish are as good, if not better than back home. 10/10. We loved the ambiance and the menu selection. Teh perfect little spot for lunch if you're in the area, but come early as it does get busy.

Wow! We went in because I saw ceviche on someones plate and it was as delicious as it looked. The fish and chips (with awesome sauce) was mouth-watering good. Friendly and easygoing service, an oiled team!

Le Sadi is a popular bar and restaurant with a friendly ambiance. The spacious venue allows for conversations with neighbors, creating a sociable atmosphere. The decor is appealing, both in the bar and the restaurant area, showing attention to detail. This establishment stands out from other upscale dining places in Dinard, offering a relaxed vibe reminiscent of a trendy bar rather than just a regular restaurant. They serve various drinks ranging from beers to cocktails.
A great bar and restaurant. The service was superb with a menu updated regularly. The chicken burger special was well marinated and filling. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere was appreciated.
Wayne M — Google review
We went with friends who know the place well, it was a Monday evening and they said it is normally much more lively.. there were 5/6 people at the bar and 2 tables of diners including us 4. Service was friendly and efficient. Charcuterie platter was poor value for 15€ altho the ham was good quality.. Burgers seemed very good, Ribs were not at all tender but taste was good and not too much sauce.. wine was good although a little pricey.. in total 40€ per head was not cheap with 1 bottle shared between 4 people, but nothing is cheap in Dinard..
Paul M — Google review
Nice bar. This is pretty old because my Dad went to party there as a teen! It was renovated a few years ago and the decoration is pretty good now. They offer appetizer but not testes. Good Mojitos (7€). Outside sitting. Clean bathroom

Casino Barrière Dinard is located on boulevard Wilson, overlooking an Olympic-size, covered, heated-seawater swimming pool and the modern Palais des Arts et Festivals. The area also features a public footpath called Chemin de Ronde that leads along the coast. The central section of this path, known as Promenade du Clair de Lune, is a popular spot for leisurely strolls in the afternoon or evening.
Perfect. Not too big, not too small. Not overcrowded. Beautiful view of the sea. Not often you see the outside world from within a casino. But here you do. Beware that the restaurant closes early from French standards.

Nice view but very rude at the entrance and bar closed at 8pm because the bartender was on a break for diner for 30 minutes and no one to offer drinks ! Such a drop in the service on this place that used to be good , so we went to another place nearby !

Bar Le Skipper is a bar in Dinard that has a maritime theme. It is situated in the center of the city and is known for its lively atmosphere both during the day and at night. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, creating an inviting environment for locals who frequently visit the bar. The establishment exudes a relaxed and unpretentious ambiance, which contributes to its popularity among patrons.
This is a late review and I visited in May 2017. I had an unexpected amazing time at Le Skipper when I strolled into the bar for a drink. There were group of middle aged folks having fun and I started to take photos of them since I am an amateur photographer. They were so friendly and welcomed me to their group. When the kitchen closed and people got hungry, the bar owner or employee went out and grabbed ham and cheese and made sandwiches and shared with us free. Not sure if some of those folks paid for it or not for others. I would go back to the beautiful town of Dinard and visit the bar again.
Kyung Y — Google review
Had lunch during la Grande Braderie. The restaurant is really set up to serve drinks and food quickly, take payment quickly and move you on. The leisurely lunch we planned didn't really fit. Medium sized portion but good price compared to other restaurants
Lindsey R — Google review
We stopped for a drink and snack at Le Skipper yesterday evening. The service was fast but the chap that dealt with our order was surly to put it mildly. And when we asked for the bill we’d been overcharged for the bottle of wine. It was rectified with an apology but I think it happened due to the grumpiness of the chap that served us!

The 333 Café offers a stunning outdoor terrace that provides a scenic view of the bay below. It is known for its delicious menu options, including the classic burger and moules-frites (mussels with potato fries). In addition to serving great cocktails and drinks in the evenings, this café also hosts talented pianists and singers for entertainment. They have a well-curated selection of wine and beer, which are accompanied by exceptional sweet and savory appetizers.
I spent a privileged moment savouring a coffee on the lovely terrace with a beautiful sea view. The service is both impeccable and warm. I will definitely visit again !

(Translated by Google) I'll revise my review in August 2025. We returned in the middle of the season, so as not to be left with our very mixed impressions from the off-season, which contrasted with our memories from when our children were still at home. A wonderful idea, everything was perfect, very good lunches with perfectly served cocktails, generous on the terrace. Very good menus, whatever the starters or main courses, there were three of us! Very happy with this truly enjoyable time, everyone was on the same wavelength. April 2025 We used to come here with our children a few years ago. I find that the lunch menu has changed a lot; there aren't many options anymore; it's very limited. However, in our selection: The appetizers were good, well served by the young woman. For the main courses, Not particularly generous, however, the ravioli and chicken fillet were good. No desserts because the menu options were too basic. As for the service, the young ladies were very attentive. The men, on the other hand, seemed like the chefs, not very polite. There was another table where a hotel guest was having lunch. Everything was focused on him, with greetings and conversations, and with us... out of politeness, no greetings. I found that completely off the mark... and a bad example for service. As another person said, this "forgetting" aspect creates unease in this type of establishment; it's unpleasant... For the person who responded today, May 1st, there were indeed two gentlemen... one of whom seemed like a leader, based on the way he behaved... my perception was not mistaken... And I ask you not to dispute this, please.

(Translated by Google) Very disappointed... Certainly, the place is superb and also makes its reputation... A Mojito with friends on the roof top... €15, or we know in advance, if everything was impeccable. At 6:30 p.m., greasy fries on the floor, used paper napkin on the floor, dirty table (you have to ask the waitress for a sponge), a waitress who no longer knows which of 3 mojitos is alcohol-free and therefore begins to sniff the glasses to find out, and a mojito supposed to be with alcohol that tastes and smells like lemon but not rum and when you "complain" to the waiter, he says that he can add a dose of rum but that it will be billed...

Really attractive place overlooking the sea. Good (if pricey) food & drink selection, very attentive staff. The reason I’ve marked it down is that there were no toilets!! I only discovered this 2 pints in 😱. The server was very apologetic but ultimately unhelpful, didn’t suggest walking to the campsite toilets (which is what I did) and left me considering the nearby bushes!! If I’d known in advance there were no toilets I wouldn’t have gone, and in the UK if there were no toilets there’d be no bar! I can’t seem to reply to the reply of the manager who says there are toilets, so I will edit my review. It is true that there are beach toilets very close, but they were closed/locked (it was only 6pm) with no notice to say why (or that they were closed - I waited a while thinking they were just in use) or alternative offered. The server said they were out of order but had no idea why and - as I said - offered no alternative. In effect, that means there were no toilets. I’ve only been there once, I have no idea how regularly this happens but it would put me off visiting again.

(Translated by Google) June 2025: The view is still beautiful. The atmosphere is nice. Well, you pay for the service in the bill, but you do it yourself. Sometimes you have to go get the waffles yourself, then later you have to get the drinks while the young waiters (who are nice, by the way) chat together or on their smartphones. It's probably fine when it's busy, but during the day, when you have two customers and five waiters...!! Moral of the story: I poured myself a half-spilled tea on the bus. I asked not to pay for the service since I did it myself, but no, you still have to pay :). To be continued July 2021: Sorry, this is going to sting. Fourth time we've been here. Waiters with their noses in their smartphones, tables not cleaned, orders forgotten, at 2:30 p.m. we're out of food, waiting, waiting to order with only three tables... We tried to talk with this young team. The discussions were pleasant and calm, but the servers saw each other's problems and didn't seem to have a local manager to manage them. If you say what's wrong, it can get better. Service isn't easy during this period of recovery. We support you!!!! July 2020: Café migon, simple, friendly service, double cable for €2.50. Amazing view. Morning at high tide, extraordinary. Vue extra. Le matin a marée haute, extraordinaire

For eight years, it has been the go-to spot for rum-based cocktails and offers a daily changing menu based on fresh ingredients. Visitors rave about the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind while enjoying stunning views of the bay and surrounding historic houses.
4 visits in 48 hours says it all. Lovely staff serving delicious food in a relaxed beachside setting with amazing views. What more could one ask for? Thanks for making our stay in Dinard so memorable.

Make sure you ask for a receipt if you are paying with euros. Bought an Americano, he requested 2 euros, I paid him, he opened the drawer without ringing it up, he gave me my change but he did not ring up the order until after I asked for a receipt. Careful her.

Great fun. The laser game was highly enjoyable, came back 2nd time this week. And the rest of the family enjoyed the bowling, ages 2 to 70 years. Can wait a while for your laser game so buy tickets straight away. Also not a great food selection, which is a problem when the kids are hungry.

When inquiring about the restaurant's availability, it was mentioned that a reservation was required, and they also inquired about any dietary restrictions. This thoughtful consideration for accommodating various needs, such as vegetarian and gluten-free options which can be challenging to find in France, was greatly appreciated. The tomato salad served at Ritournelle Dinard was exceptional with its delightful addition of lemon-infused mozzarella.
When I called to check they were open, I was told it was required to book and they asked me if I had any dietary restrictions. And I do (veggie and GF, in France that’s not easy) and it meant so much that they’d ask ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate. I had one of the best tomato salads ever (the mozzarella was covered in lemon shavings that was just spectacular).

Great selection of wines and champagne. The dining area is a little awkward though. Half of the dishes were way too salty and the fish still raw. The waitress was really friendly.

(Translated by Google) Perfect. From A to Z. I'm stunned by the few previous reviews; not by their harshness, but by their glaring lack of discernment. When you confuse home cooking with a frozen food concoction, the lines are bound to blur. Fortunately, for those who still know how to recognize the true taste of things, this place is a treasure. Here, everything is in its rightful place. We eat, drink, and talk with passion. A concise and punchy menu, seasonal products from local producers, and a selection of wines to die for. We appreciate the work of the raw product, of real cuisine, the kind that surprises with its flavors. The prices reflect the work, the quality, and the passion. There's nothing to complain about, you won't be cheated. As for the welcome, just like the place itself, one word must be said: warm. A charming and approachable management couple and a helpful and responsive team who share their passion for wine and gastronomy. Thank you for your generosity, your welcome, and above all, thank you for reminding us what good food truly means. (Original) Parfait.

(Translated by Google) Nice setting on the terrace overlooking the park and... the public restrooms. The servers are nice but complicated: it was a whole skit to get across that we wanted the clams (originally an appetizer) as a main course with extra fries for a child... the chef didn't want it at first. The "lobster" (a very, very small lobster) with fries for the goddamn sum of €35?!?! It's crazy (even shameful!). The clams weren't cooked and the pork loin wasn't cooked evenly (either too much or not enough...). Finally, the desserts: a good strawberry sorbet, and a chocolate cake with a... peculiar presentation. It was good, but for €10 it's excessive. €5 for a Coca-Cola?!?? Food-wise, okay, it's fresh, but it's really not great. The interior isn't accessible... need to go to the restroom? Go to the public ones in the park right next door! But be careful, no paper... The value for money is SHAMEFUL. We are extremely disappointed, even though the place could be put to great use.

We had to look for a table and chairs ourselves, the service to the table was non-existent but the most important thing is that the mojitos we ordered were really not acceptable. The sugar was all on the bottom, the taste was just soda and with little ice. This is not what I call and pay for as a mojito. We chose this place because it was full and I didn’t check the reviews earlier but I don’t understand how a bar can serve cocktails like these (gin tonic was bad too).

(Translated by Google) Honestly, it's a disgrace. This nightclub shows absolutely no respect for its customers. The prices are exorbitant and seem to vary depending on the staff's mood: a real racket! A drink can cost one price one night and another the next… unheard of. In addition to being overpriced, the atmosphere is terrible: mediocre music, no seating, and if you dare to enjoy the terrace with your drink, you're banned. What's the point of having a terrace then? But the worst part is the staff's attitude... Unpleasant as can be, they allow themselves to speak rudely to customers as if we owe them something. No consideration, no respect, just a clear desire to make money by treating us like fools. In short, a real scam. I don't recommend it to anyone. Run away and spend your money elsewhere! (Translated by Google) Terrible service The bar is in a beautiful location, the food isn't bad, but unfortunately everything else is managed so poorly that even the positive aspects can't save the experience. Having stayed at the hotel, I've frequented this place several times, but with each visit, I'm sorry to say, it gets worse and worse. First of all, a menu with confusing hours: from 12:00 to 15:00, you can order ONLY the savory portion, but if it's 3:10 and you want a toast, that's not possible, because from 15:00 to 18:00, only desserts and ice cream are served. Want ice cream at 19:00 or 21:00? Well, too bad for you, because at that time, the desserts on the menu disappear completely and you can only order the aperitif. Yes, the aperitif... if you have it! An hour and a half wait for three cocktails that we never received. And when we pointed out that things weren't working, the servers responded with total disrespect. This was the case for one waitress who, immediately upon hearing these remarks, began to very rudely mock an 80-year-old woman who was with me. Now, I understand that receiving comments and criticism is absolutely not pleasant, but responding with such arrogance and mocking a customer... there are limits to everything. I'd like to offer some advice to managers: if you don't intend to change your system, which clearly DOESN'T WORK, the only solution would be to hire people who are truly exceptional for their kindness, because you will undoubtedly need people who can handle complaints without bothering customers. It's a real shame that these are the experiences that remain etched in the minds of the customer, because due to the mistakes of a few people, it's also the work of those who do their job well at the hotel that is ruined. Oui, l’apéritif… si tu l’as!!

(Translated by Google) How can anyone dare to serve such dishes also in the restaurant of a 4 star hotel. This is totally disrespectful! Having booked at the "gastronomic" restaurant but which only serves pancakes at lunchtime (curious), we opt for the hotel's classic restaurant. So-called prestige oysters (but number 3) and poorly opened and sandy whelks as starters. Then after almost an hour of waiting, meat arrives that a company canteen would not dare to serve, accompanied by pumpkin peels and polenta vomit. The other dish, a "gourmet" sandwich which consists of a slice of bread probably toasted the day before, because it is dry and impossible to cut, on which we look for sheep's cheese. there's a vague piece of avocado and an eighth of tomato, with ultra-thin slices of andouille sausage, all and it's the pompom topped with a layer of shiny salad that turned!! (probably the day before too). Please note that fries ordered extra to accompany the meat will only arrive with the bill. We ask to speak to a manager. The young maitre d' waiter weakly offers to redo the dishes. But that's not the problem how such plates can reach the table. We want to see the chief. He's not there! Besides, is there a leader? Our neighbor at the table, resigned, tells us that we are right to come forward. He is a boarder and tells us “today is rather less bad than usual”. Amazing ! We ask for the bill. The manager who arrived subsequently wants us to believe it was an isolated incident. My message unfortunately will probably not change much. But I strongly advise boarding clients to come forward! It is inconceivable to serve such meals.

My friend's dish is garnished normally, mine, just one of the two sandwiches is garnished with lobster. I pointed this out to the waitress. She tells me she's going to send him back to the kitchen. She comes back a minute later and brings me the dish. In fact they just took two pieces of the stuffed sandwich and put it in the other. It's very unpleasant to be taken for an idiot. I would like to point out that I come here every time I come to Dinard to visit my parents. I agree with the other comments, the service is also very long and orders are not taken in order of arrival.

(Translated by Google) I'm writing this review after several visits to the bar at the Hotel Emeria. Unfortunately, the service is regularly very slow: you often have to ask several times before you can order. Last night, there were six of us for an aperitif. We ordered two platters for €28 each. The charcuterie platter was decent, but the cheese platter was disappointing: very sparsely stocked for the price, and composed of 80% sheep's or goat's milk cheese. Only one "matured Comté" was made from cow's milk... but its quality left something to be desired (barely 8 months of maturation, comparable to a supermarket Comté). Another surprising point: only four slices of bread per platter, which is largely insufficient for six people. When we asked for more bread, we were brought, and I quote, "what we have left"—three small pieces—when the restaurant, located 20 meters away, must have plenty of bread for its customers. We also had to go to the bar to ask about our platters, as they were slow to arrive even though we were already halfway through our drinks. This is the first time I've left a negative review on Google, but after several disappointing experiences, I feel the service doesn't live up to the establishment's advertised standards. I do not recommend this bar. For better platters, with real value for money and impeccable service, it's better to go elsewhere.

(Translated by Google) Bar and terrace with a magnificent panoramic view from which you can admire the sunset and the varied colors of the landscape. We've been to this bar several times, but this time the service was catastrophic. The waiters passed by, but no one thought to give us cards, so we ended up getting one from another table. The previous customers' glasses hadn't been cleared, so the waiter didn't know if we'd been served. We finally managed to place our order. We had a platter with rabbit terrine. We had to ask three times for more bread because two people told us they were taking care of it, but to no avail. Several other customers at nearby tables had the same problems getting served. The service is completely disorganized, slow, and unresponsive, which is unfortunate in such an establishment. Hoping things improve so we can enjoy this superb place again. On a enfin réussi à passer commande.

(Translated by Google) Sublime setting, fortunately, this painfully compensates for the interminable wait. We waited 1 hour for 2 mojitos and a Perrier, we were only served half of the order. We had to show up at the bar 20 minutes later to beg for the mojito ordered 1 hour 20 minutes earlier. The cocktails were disappointing, they only tasted of rum. The staff is, fortunately, pleasant but clearly understaffed, probably a decision of the management which makes the experience unpleasant for the customers and stifling for the staff. Remedy this shortcoming to make the experience idyllic. (Original) Cadre sublime, heureusement, cela compense péniblement l'attente interminable. Chocolate shop
Alain Batt Chocolats has been a beloved establishment in Dinard for over two decades, captivating locals and visitors alike with its exquisite range of chocolates and confections. The shop features delightful creations infused with bergamot, an aromatic citrus fruit cherished in Nancy. Additionally, you can indulge in their selection of babas made from Lorraine mirabelle plums and pears, as well as rum-infused varieties.

I bought dark chocolate bites filled with fruit flavor ganache for €28. Nothing was there, the taste of fruit flavors, chocolate, everything was bland and worst of all, beggars 😱 a taste of cardboard topped with a grain of dry grapes, two peanuts not even roasted. I bitterly regret this purchase which brought me NO taste pleasure. For me, to escape.....

(Translated by Google) I've bought chocolate bites by the piece several times. And every time, they taste terrible. I don't know how long they keep them, and once someone went to get some from behind because there was no longer the one I wanted, so I was hoping for a fresh one, nope, just as old. Even more of a shame as fresh ones are very good. So crazy OK, but systematically, scandalous.

We chose two different boxes, one of black ganaches and the other of pralines prepared to order. The praline chocolates are gray and dry. The ganaches are dry. This is a shame. Our remark is just to alert you to this problem because we really like your chocolates. Hoping our next purchases will be better. Sincerely. Unfortunately we had a dire lunch experience. Ordered Croque Monsieur and what arrived was awful. Nothing like Croque Monsieur at all. Soft floppy pieces of bread cut like a club sandwich with undercooked cheese and almost no ham. It was all fatty ham. Luckily we bought a €5 sandwich down the road with much more ham and much tastier. A waste of €50 as the burger was also not well cooked as we requested.
