Bistro
Nestled in the charming town of Osoyoos, Convivia Bistro Cuisine offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully marries French and Italian flavors. This cozy bistro invites guests to savor exquisite dishes paired with carefully selected wines, all within an intimate indoor setting or on a lovely outdoor patio. The ambiance is perfect for those looking to enjoy a relaxed meal while indulging in the rich tastes of European cuisine.
We enjoyed Convivia so much, we went back for a second night in a row. The food was exceptional — everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Highlights included the escargot, Caesar salad, deep-fried goat cheese salad, spaghetti Bolognese, and risotto. Service was warm and attentive without feeling rushed, and the atmosphere was a nice balance between cozy and elegant. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a really good meal with family. Convivia is a true standout in Osoyoos and I would definitely recommend to anyone and we will be back!

This is a hidden gem in Osoyoos. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend making a reservation as it gets very busy. The cocktail and wine list are exceptional. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The menu has a ton of options. Definitely recommend the goat cheese salad! Our waiter recommended it and it was amazing. Also the carbonara pasta I ordered was very delicious. This is a must try when in town.
Allison P — Google review
Overall, our experience was great! The food and cocktails were delicious, and the servers were polite, attentive, and engaging. We ordered escargot, calamari, seafood risotto, veal scallopini linguine, and Italian pizza — everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The only downside was that the restaurant was quite backed up, so we had to wait about 30 minutes even with a reservation. Other than that, we really enjoyed our evening here.
Maggie L — Google review
Walked in & got lucky to find a spot right away. The service was great. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 both mine & my partner's. I got chicken parmigiana & he got a steak. We had some of the best tiramisu we've ever had! Wow! The drinks were good & our servers kept checking on us making sure everything was ok. Great experience overall 🍝

Recommended by Aziza from Bordertown vineyard who should be on commission! One of the best meals we had during our tour in BC. French restaurant with an Italian twist. Particularly enjoyed the starters of melon and cucumber terrine and prosciutto and the deep fried goats cheese salad. Mains were just as delicious. Thanks to chef for taking the time to come out and chat after service.

First time at Convivia Bistro Cuisine, celebrating our 40th anniversary. The food was excellent — full of flavour and clearly made with care. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special. Overall it was an enjoyable evening and would definitely recommend this over other local options. We’d go back. Also of note they offer many gluten free options.
Jim O — Google review
This restaurant is really excellent. The food was authentically French in our case. I had cassoulet as good as any I had in France. Our waitress, Simone, was personable and informative and the atmosphere lively without being too loud. You won't be disappointed.
Philip B — Google review
Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant while in Osoyoos, we were greeted immediately by every staff member that saw us including the cook and bartender. We got the calamari for starters, and lamb shank and mushroom risotto for our mains. The lamb shank was insanely tender and risotto was perfect. It was so good we came back a second night in a row where they all welcomed us back. Both nights we were incredibly happy with the food and drinks we had ordered. I would highly recommend the lamb shank, the mushroom risotto, the pizzas (Italian was phenomenal) and the crème brûlée was the best we’ve ever had, we will definitely be back. One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Special thanks to Simone our server one of the best in the game!

Nestled in the stunning landscapes of Osoyoos, where Canada’s hottest freshwater lake meets semi-desert terrain, Roberto's Gelato is a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful frozen treat. This charming gelato shop at Watermark Beach Resort specializes in crafting authentic Italian gelato using milk instead of cream, making it a lighter yet equally indulgent option.
This was the best gelato on the planet!!! I tried the oreo flavor and it tasted soo creamy!!! They made it soo fast this was probably the fastest order ever given to me. Next time I'm in Osoyoos I'm definitely coming here again!!
Jagdish M — Google review
Love my lavender flavor and my boyfriend really enjoyed the pistachio and cherry flavor. Friendly staff and good price.
Missy Y — Google review
This very tasty gelato experience happened at the Watermark Beach Resort.. I did add a latte to this cozy experience..I definitely love this Italian style ice cream..this tasting experience just added to our special time in the city of Osoyoos..
Michael M — Google review
I love their sugar free gelato. Prices were reasonable but the parking sucked. If you couldn't park right in front then you literally have to park farther away
Ms Z — Google review
Excellent range of vegan sorbettos - they have 5-6 fruity flavours, including Okanagan peach if you want something local. Don’t know how they make it, but they manage to give it a super creamy consistency, that makes you forget that it’s a sorbetto and not a gelato :)
Sampoorna B — Google review
Absolutely best gelato in the valley. Pet friendly patio, fresh gelato flavours and fast service makes me coming back for more! My favourite are the chai, mango, and peach! The espresso is also wonderful!
Mohsen C — Google review
Joseph is a dedicated gelatoroso and his product is outstanding. He took over from the founder with his blessing and is making wonderful gelato using quality ingredients, and it is evident. As a certified gelato evaluator, this shop gets 9.5 points out of 10 (nobody gets 10). The pistachio has a great depth of roastedness, but the surprise is how well cardamom works in gelato.

i'm 18 and might look intimidating but the worker was being pretty cold to me. there was no one else there and i'm just like any other customer and maybe he was getting upset because i asked for 2 samples..?? but i could tell a significant difference between how he treated me and my mom. i'm not the type to complain a lot but i was trying to be nice and friendly and i asked if i could i get 2 flavours in a small. his reply was no. i asked why not just 2 tiny scoops and no answer. i work at an ice cream shop myself and it is very simple to do 2 flavors in a small... i just got a medium and it was the smallest medium i have ever seen for $7 that's just crazy. i'm sorry if i was a pain or anything but not to speak for all the staff just please be nice to the younger generation🙏

Nestled in the charming town of Osoyoos, Junction 3 Coffee House is a delightful retreat for coffee enthusiasts. This family-owned gem offers an impressive selection of classic brews, including drip coffee, espresso, and everyone's favorite Americano. For those who crave something sweet, their menu features tempting options like mochas and caramel macchiatos that are sure to satisfy any dessert lover's palate.
I ordered the breakfast wrap, which was really good, but the cinnamon bun is an absolute must-try! I highly recommend grabbing your food to go and heading to the lake nearby. There are some great tables right by the water, perfect for enjoying your meal. Cinnabon buns and coffee with a lakeside view at such a low cost—definitely worth it!”
Andrea O — Google review
This was a fun little coffee shop to visit. Went with a group of 4. I had a London Fog (delish) and an Egg Bite (was not heated all the way through). That's the only reason I gave only 4 stars for the food. Would love to go back for a lunch sometime.
Donna B — Google review
Coffee is decent. Baking is awful and definitely not fresh. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Overhyped or maybe beggars can't be choosers in Osoyoos.
Matthew T — Google review
We spend the long weekend in Osoyoos, and as always one of the best places to go is Junction 3 Coffee. Great food ( muffins - croissants) and of course the best Coffee in Osoyoos. The service is excellent as usual.
Frey R — Google review
Service with an extra side of attitude. Was super excited to try their coffee. Went in the back as they FORGOT to add milk to one of my coffees. When I asked for coffee, the older blonde lady wearing a red hoodie gave us the most horrible attitude. Like we were asking for her organs or something. Don’t expect service or a smile.
Neda G — Google review
The coffee was just okay, and the banana bread was honestly awful. But the most disappointing part was the service. The young lady at the front desk ignored every single customer who greeted her with a “good morning.” Not even a smile or a reply. In a touristic area, that kind of attitude is simply rude and unwelcoming. A little kindness goes a long way, and it was completely missing here.
Elizabete S — Google review
An absolute delight of a coffee shop, quality coffee with delicious snacks. Mind you they don’t have indoors sitting, the only sitting available in the patio. Went there 2 days in a row when in town, we tried breakfast wraps, drip coffee, flat whites and the blended chai which is superb! The croissants are very good too :)
Maria M — Google review
Cute little coffee shack on the side of the road. Worth stopping at for the seasonal drinks. Walk up window, with large drinks menu and some food options. Outdoor seating. Gravel floor and parking area, and immediately beside the highway so a bit or road noise.

Nestled at the corner of 89th and Oleander Drive, Sugar Quail Bakeshop is a delightful haven for anyone with a penchant for sweets. This charming local bakery offers an array of mouthwatering treats, from classic cupcakes to custom cakes, all crafted with love and quality ingredients sourced from nearby farms when in season. Katharina made us the most beautiful and delicious wedding cakes. I have an egg allergy and she was able to accommodate this, which I truly appreciate. I have a love for unicorns and she was able to make my dreams come true. She decorated the cakes beautifully with my wedding colors. I appreciate how easy it was to communicate my ideas to her. I would definitely recommend!

Cute little spot to pick up some artisanal pastries when in Osoyoos. Service with a smile!

First time visiting Sugar Quail and we tried a few different things. Loved all of them. We will be back every time we're in Osoyoos, there's so much more to try! We chatted with another patron and she has been pre-ordering bacon and cheese croissants consistently from here. I'll probably start doing the same!
Brandon S — Google review
Oh my goodness, this quaint little bakery is delicious if you are in Osoyoos. I always make it a point to go there on days that they are open. Everything there is absolutely delicious. There is not indoor seating available but there are several parks around. The customer service is great!
Ms Z — Google review
Great cherry cheesecake, and carrot cake, not too sweet, which we appreciate. Their macaroons , lavander one, are great, not too much creme, or overpowering flavour. The lady that served us had a great welcoming personality, and will def be back when in Osoyoos.
Matei M — Google review
Found this spot quite by accident while driving around Osoyoos. Delightful little place with a very pleasing fresh baked bread smell when you walk in. Staff are friendly and the place is very clean. There are several glutton free options. The fruit Danish is delicious. I had the apple cinnamon and the fresh lemon curd. You won't be disappointed.
Scott M — Google review
My family, friends and I have been coming here for years every time we visit Osoyoos and it’s incredible every time we all love it 🔥 the brownies, cakes, bars, tarts, breads, etc. literally all of it is amazing 🥐🥖 The people who work/own the bakery are wonderful they make every time we go a great experience 🙏 I’d give this place 6 stars if I could

Since opening in 2021, it has quickly become a beloved spot for locals and visitors to indulge in rich ice creams, scrumptious cupcakes, and an assortment of baked goods.
Cute ice cream shop with lots of options and limited seating side - more outside. Tried the cream soda single scoop and should have went with kid's size. Very generous scoop! Nice selection of treats as well, if ice cream isn't your go-to.
Roxy S — Google review
We lined up behind the customers that were in there before us, then when it was our turn to be served, the staff allowed a different group of 8 that came in much later than us to push ahead of us. Then when it came for it to be our turn to be served, they advised that they have gluten free cones, but that none of their ice cream flavours were gluten free. So since we didn’t want to give our kids just an empty cone at an ice cream store, we left without getting any ice cream. The store also smelt strange inside, not much like ice cream.
Andy W — Google review
I love ice cream! This is a cute and charming ice cream shop that brings a big smile on my face every time. If you are looking for special treats and a variety of high quality delicious ice cream, this is one of the best spots in Osoyoos!

Barn Owl Eatery is a beloved spot that offers a variety of breakfast and brunch options, as well as grab-and-go items like sandwiches, smoothies, and freshly baked goods. Visitors can expect warm greetings and a passion for food reflected in the scrumptious dishes. The menu features favorites like the Old Saddle Breakfast Eggie, Nitro cold brew, Osoyoos berry smoothie, and the Banana Monkey smoothie.
This new trendy spot in Osoyoos has a great vibe and great smash burgers 🍔 to go with it! It's in our neighborhood, so we walked over to check it out. It's located in the Cottonwood strip mall, which has parking. We were greeted immediately by the friendly staff and shown the menu board on the wall. I ordered the double smash burger, which was amazing! My husband had the same but with bacon and we shared the Greek shoestring fries (you won't be disappointed 😋). We sat in the dining area, however there is a nice, relaxing coffee area with big comfy chairs for those who just want coffee or a drink. There's also an outdoor patio, which I'm sure we will sit on during the warmer days 🌞😉. If you're looking for a great place, like smash burgers 🍔 with a fresh vibe, I'd definitely recommend Barn Owl Eatery 🦉
Darlene K — Google review
Such a winning spot in Osoyoos. The service was 10/10 and the food was all fresh and delicious. I had the veggie sandwich, my kiddo had their Belgium waffle, and my husband had the B.O.B smash burger. Cameron and Nathan took care of us, and their help with order and attentiveness was great! Definitely going to visit again next time I’m in Osoyoos.
Ashley K — Google review
Nice little cafe, went here for breakfast. Order as you go in at the counter and they bring your food. The menu is small but some good choices. It's funny they state in the menu that you can have your eggs one of two ways, over easy or over hard. I guess Sunnyside up and scrambled are a no go at this funky little eatery! Smallish portions but enough for an old guy like me. It got really busy as we were leaving, I got the impression it's a local favorite.
John G — Google review
First time dining at Barn Owl Eatery & Cafe and they exceeded all expectations. We got two different smash burgers, the loaded fries, their cold brew milkshake and two different desserts. Everything was phenomenal. The burgers were beyond juicy and full of flavor and we can't wait to come back. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area, highly recommend!!
Ashley H — Google review
This coffee shop is fantastic! Coffee and drink choices are excellent, with something for every taste, and the baked goods are fresh and delicious. The menu has a great mix of options at reasonable prices, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
Angela M — Google review
Finally a family friendly venue with great food, awesome vibe and phenomenal service. The smash burgers are delicious. The milkshakes 100% bring the boys to the yard. The best part is that the owners, Jav and Meg, always make sure your experience is great. Incredibly grateful for this locally owned eatery where grabbing lunch becomes impromptu play dates and catch ups as friends serendipitously gather. Can't wait for their patio this summer!
Johnny C — Google review
Got rushed in the other morning by my hub because he wanted the try their breakfast which lasts only till 11am, and got one of their plates, which was super tiny and not an actual plate, but service and nice dog friendly patio made up for it.
Matei M — Google review
Hands down, some of the best burgers we’ve had in a very very long time and are so happy to have found this hidden little gem. We ordered quite a bit of their lunch menu one day as we were a larger group - everyone for the most part really loved and raved about the burgers. Being able to add what we like or take away was a huge bonus for us especially with food allergies. There were a few misses for us though such as the poutine and cheese fries (the cheese fries were literally just fries with a piece of cheese on top, which made the fries underneath soggy and just not the best concept) The only other complaint we had was their dinner menu is completely different. Our kids were very sad when we went to do dinner a few days later to be told the menu wasn’t the same as lunch and we ended up elsewhere. Overall we’ll definitely be back for lunch and wish they would continue their lunch menu during dinner

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, a classic fast-food chain, offers a diverse menu featuring soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes. Renowned for its delectable burgers and fries, this establishment has remained a popular gathering spot for various groups over the years. Whether it's kids sports teams celebrating victories, business people enjoying lunch breaks, or families relishing in quality food and soft-serve treats, Dairy Queen continues to thrive since its inception in 1940.
Quick service, clear menu and good value with the current $8 meal deal. Upgraded one to onion rings and both to oreo blizzards - fed a family of 4 for under $50. I was surprised to find a salad option - pretty great for fast food. Bathrooms clean also - another great place to stop during a long drive.

I purchased a double cheeseburger with a poutine upgrade . I was charged a combo plus a $5 extra charge . It was just under $20 which is fine if it was good . My burger was soggy and tasteless my poutine was soggy too and my pop was flat . If you like Dairy Queen go to Oliver . It's way way better there .
D M — Google review
I’m not sure who dropped the manager on their head as an infant child, but they must not be very intelligent to close an ice cream store at 8pm in the middle of the summertime, and in a vacation city like Osoyoos. Absolutely disgraceful. Take your money to somewhere that wants your business, there are several local shops open past 9pm in town. The franchise owners need to get their acts together, it’s embarrassing. It’s also dirty
Tyler M — Google review
I tried the Oreo pie Blizzard. It reminds me of a childhood treat we called worms in dirt with chocolate pudding, cookie crumbs and gummy worms. Nostalgic and tasty

I usually don’t bother rating national chains unless there is something unique worth mentioning, in this case it’s the staff, they are cheery happy and always accommodating, I’ve never had a bad meal here and it’s always quick and served with a smile.

Went as a walk in to get an $8 meal deal , cheeseburger , fries , drink and a hot fudge sundae. The ice machine didn't work . They wouldn't fill my cup. My fries were old . Not fresh and they forgot to give me my sundae I had to ask for it and the girl rolled her eyes at me.

I purchased a birthday cake for my nephew. Just under 50 dollars. The writing on the top looked like a 5 year old did it. I had no time to get another cake and was so embarrassing giving him the cake. I will not be purchasing another one. The woman was very unfriendly.

Went for two poutines.. wife and I ate them and within 2 hours both doubled over with food poisoning of some description.. was the only thing we'd eaten that day so im guessing it was the poutine and we both started with it at the same time... doubt I'll be back
