Their cupcakes are always delicious and getting a free one on my birthday was a special treat. I got a Banana Split cupcake and it was wonderful. Creamy frosting, delicious filling, excellent cake (banana bread, maybe, or at least it tasted like it) and a cherry on top. The person at the counter was sweet and friendly but it was what they did after the shop closed up that has me writing this review. Our car was in danger of overheating just outside. I went to see if I could get a glass of water to pour in it but the doors were locked. As I was leaving, they came to see what I needed and when they heard what was going on they got me an entire pitcher of water. What an amazing person. Thank you. You made my day and my birthday. Your business is wonderful and so are you. I hope you have the best day ever and that lots of great things happen for you.

They absolutely rocked the cupcakes and cookies for our graduation event 2 weeks ago! Everyone was talking about how great it all looked and tasted. More importantly every single person I dealt with was fantastic, from email, phone calls, even in store, it was one amazing helpful and informative experience!

I hadn't been back here in YEARS until today!! The staff were sweet and so were the cupcakes! The shop was so aesthetically put together and absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that my tea was scorching hot for about half an hour and once I was able to taste it, it was super bitter and didn't have raspberry in it like I'd requested, but that won't stop me from coming back!

Oops! This place probably has great cupcakes and desserts, but I wanted a hot americano (pretty simple, right). And, well, the first one was lukewarm-cold, hmm. So, I let them know, and they happily remade it. I asked for plenty of room, because I like LIKE espresso/coffee taste, but … well, it was hot the second time, but it tasted kind of like just hot water with barely a hint of coffee. No crema (that thin brownish foam on top of an espresso shot and usually an americano), no bold flavor, tasted kind of like an instant coffee. The servers were so delightful, I didn’t have the heart to have them make it a third time, so I just drank it.

I called Sweet Frosting to order a cake and cupcakes for my wedding. We were very happy with the food and service. There was some confusion at first as I live far and could not do the tasting, but it was quickly and professionally cleared up. I was in constant email communication with Piper and she helped us pick out what style we want with pictures, which was very helpful. It was straightforward even when changing our order. The did have Gluten Free options which my guest loved. They delivered to the venue on time and there were no issues. I would recommend Sweet Frosting Blissful Bakeshop.

The kindest humans, the most delicious pumpkin waffles, and the hippest spot in downtown. Don't walk, run to Boots. They have a little something for everyone but everything is plant-based. I've been for brunch and had their famous pumpkin waffles with chai butter (just do it) and tofu scramble, for lunch for a smattering of sides, and snagged several dessert from pastries to cookies to cakes! Again, they do it all and more importantly, they do it well. They're located in the Saranac Commons so you can also support the brewery, pizzeria and coffee shop located within the same food hall while you're there. And if you're lucky, there will be dogs - or bring your own!

What a find. I love this place. The food was unique an incredibly delicious. The owner was friendly and a great soul. If I lived here this would be my go-to breakfast spot.

This place is an absolute gem! It’s rare when the vibe, food, and service are all perfect. She was so knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations for food combinations that worked perfectly together. The menu is a dream come true: 100% gluten-free, vegan, and absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. It’s rare to find a place that caters so thoughtfully to dietary needs without ever compromising on taste. Jess made the experience unforgettable—warm, welcoming, and attentive. As we kept saying all evening, “Jess is the best!” 🥰

Amazing place!! Cute environment. The team was very nice about verifying ingredients for my long list of allergies! They went over my questions and verified in a book. All gluten free and vegan!

Friendly staff and owner. Owner was super attentive to her customers experience and satisfaction. I tried their hash mix side you must try. It was gone before I was able to capture a picture. I tried their famous pumpkin pancake. Delicious… it’s sweet but has a nice cinnamon spice to it.

Amazing selection and service. Great tasting alt foods for those of us with food sensitivity. Delicious croquette! It’s the first thing I mowed down when I got back to my car!! 😁 The ginger cookie is next… with the above average coffee.

What a place!!!! Truly a vegan paradise! It starts with the most friendly and delightful staff that are ready to answer questions about the plethora of items they have in their menu. We ordered the banana buckwheat pancakes and they are so good and very generous servings. Also we had Mac n cheese, potato croquette and biscuits and gravy and they were nothing but scrumptious. Definitely we found our favorite place in Spokane!!!

Their fancy croissants are so good. I love the Raspberry one.their Macaroons are also very delicious! Bought a viral fruit dessert and it was 7/10… the orange one was chocolate mousse with a tart orange filling. Maybe I’ll try the raspberry one next time around.

We were excited to try this out and disappointed in the result. The prices were high for the pastries that weren't that great. The desserts were dry, specially the Huckleberry one. The fully enclosed plastic one was good. Perhaps the reason the Huckleberry pen was dry was it wasn't full encased to avoid air. The Gelato was the crown jewel that we loved the most. That was delicious.

Wonderful cafe, with friendly staff! The croissants are the best in the Spokane area, and they have great coffee! Also, the rest of the dessert are outstanding, with a wonderful variety and made in house (a rare thing nowadays). 5+ stars! Would definitely recommend to everyone. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and calm. A great place to sit down and enjoy a delicious dessert, or to start your day with a coffee and croissant sandwich!

Absolutely obsessed with this bakery! Every single item I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is beautiful, perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry or picking up a treat for a special occasion. There macarons and newest fruit cakes are out of this world! You can really taste the quality in everything they make. This place is a gem, can’t recommend it enough!

We enjoyed the strawberry dubai cup on 3 different occasions!! It's heaven.today we had the delicious tea flight and raspberry mirror cake.the desserts are beautiful and delicious. Katrina helped us the last few times and she is so sweet and so knowledgeable with the dessert and recommendations. We loved her input.❤️

I went to get the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup from discovering them on their FB page. It was heavenly! They had perfect crunch to their milk chocolate, and it wasn’t overly sweet. Perfect balance with the strawberries. I’ve told all my friends about it. My daughter loves their fruit treats and they’re all so delicious.

Amazing variety of desserts! I got the Dubai chocolate with my mom. The strawberries were bit mushy and I wish they spread the chocolate out better. But we also got the chocolate cake which was amazing.

Delightful, friendly neighborhood ice cream shop with scratch made rotating flavors. Often offering several vegan options like mud pie, strawberry cheesecake or peppermint around the holidays. Absolutely delicious!

We love the scoop! The staff is friendly, the shop is sweet (especially outside!), and good ice cream. Not quite five stars as we find their menu a bit challenging. I’d love to see half of the flavors stay the same and the other half be seasonal/rotate. Our family frequently visits the website and/or calls for flavors, only to be disappointed and not visit. In addition to vanilla and chocolate, we’d enjoy a couple of their cookie flavors to stay on the menu. Black & white cookie dough, giants milk & cookies, and birthday cake are some of our favorites!

The best local ice cream parlor in Spokane!! The Scoop is fabulous for so many reasons. They're community-oriented, innovative when it comes to flavors and ingredients, and literally the kindest, most service-oriented people. Have a sweet tooth? Need to cool off? Just craving great ice cream? Check out their South Hill or Kendall Yards locations - they always have vegan flavor options as well.

Delicious ice cream with a quaint shop. The waffle cones, made in-house were scrumptious with the ice cream and they even had baby/toddler size cones which is so nice and convenient to those with littles. We will definitely come back!

Excellent ice cream and staff were friendly. My wife loved the waffle cone! Nice outside seating with some cramped inside seating. But, there were relatively few flavors and things were not well labeled which was confusing for the kids and adults to figure out what everything was.

This is a cute little icecream shop located in the heart of a beautiful neighborhood. The icecream was so fresh and delicious. The lady taking our order was so helpful. We had the mint chocolate chip and Mocha brownie. Both flavors were 😋 Thank you so much!

Nutella ice cream to die for. Mud pie ice cream amazing. Waffle cones called birthday cake cones, so good! Cute interior with amazing live plants and decorations. They share a place with a bagel shop, separate review coming for that (also good). In a quiet and cute little neighborhood.

It's said the quality and state of a restaurant's kitchen and bathrooms, is the quality of their food. Cole's rocked these and their food was AMAZING. We got the pancakes and chicken fried steak. Both were so good. 🤌🏼 Also tried the Lavender Fog, so good! Place was clean, well designed, lots of product for those sensitive to gluten avail for walk up purchase. Server was kind and efficient. We def suggest you stop in and taste something amazing for yourself.

The food was delicious! I stopped here because they have vegan options and didn't even realize everything is gluten free too. I'm not gluten free but everything was delicious. I got the vegan brownie and one of the vegan burgers. Definitely worth eating here 😁

How have I only just visited Cole’s while being in this area?! HANDS DOWN THE BEST GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANT AROUND! They have a huge variety of food, baked goods, delicious drinks and so much more! When you walk in there is a shopping area where you can purchase refrigerated items (donuts, ice cream, etc), baked goods (carrot cupcakes, cheesecake), to go items (burritos, freeze dried candy, and sandwiches) to mixes made from Simple Mills and more (soup mixes, cake mixes, brownie mixes, etc). There are two separate dining areas. The tables are large, clean and provide everything you might need on hand (sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup). The service was wonderful! Everything is 100% gluten and peanut free! Some items are keto friendly and dairy free. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were so fluffy! I highly recommend their hot chocolate as well. The chips that came with my friend’s meal were divine!!! Overall the experience was truly amazing. I simply can’t rave enough about this place. This is definitely worth the trip and I plan on coming back as much as I can!

Wonderful place to go if you have celiac disease, there is absolutely no gluten in any of their products that they sell in the restaurant or in their display cases as well as their baking items. The breakfast was basic pretty typical. I was pretty impressed with the toast since it was gluten-free and it tasted delicious. I thought it would taste different. It ended up tasting like regular bread. And the the tea drink that I had with the milk in it was delicious. I definitely want that one again. The service was wonderful and the owner was kind. It seemed very busy at lunchtime, but it was great. No complaints here. I will be going back since my sweet little daughter-in-law has celiac disease and I will be picking up bread for her quite often. And vegetarian options are definitely available if you are a vegan.

I love they have gluten free and dairy free foods it helps a lot with dietary needs. I took some lemon bars, lime bars and salted caramel cupcakes home. Love the lemon bars. Lime bars were a little bland for my taste. The salted caramel cupcakes were ok, the frosting tasted a bit artificial. We ate there, got fish and chips. They were good, wish it was a little more for the price. Service was alright. Friendly people. Overall I will go again, but it's a bit expensive for what you get. However, everywhere and everything seems expensive anymore.

I wasn’t planning on stopping at anywhere in particular because I was starving and need to eat.. but Cole’s just happened to be very close. I’m so happy my stomach’s intuition guided me to this place!! 😊 The food was delicious and fresh and the FOH Manager was very accommodating and friendly. I didn’t see a lot of workers, so I didn’t mind waiting a few minutes to order, but every time she walked by me she acknowledged me and reassured me that she would assist me ASAP. I ordered the “Dirty Fries” because my stomach was running the show at this point not my healthy conscience. When they came out they were exactly as I had hoped for! Hot, natural cut fries with a generous helping of cheese sauce, pulled pork, their signature BBQ sauce, and topped off with green onions.. 😱🤑 my tastebuds were very pleased. Also need to mention the Butterscotch and cashew cookies were a perfect mix of sweet, crunchy, & chewy. ❤️ I will be back and recommend you to my friends 👍.

Not bad but not great. We arrived at 10am, a long line with slow service. The bakery items did not taste very fresh, the Almond croissant was rock hard. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs

We arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a weekday. It was a warm sunny day, so we sat outside. I ordered the Fresh Apricot Crepes, a special offerred that day. They were delicious! I also ordered a latte and a Madeline cookie. Yum! Everything was good and I do recommend this place for a delicious lunch. The outdoor seating is cheery and quaint. It really is the perfect place for a long conversation with a good friend. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean.

Madeleine's Cafe & Patisserie is not a far cry from a French bistro but is very close with quality and decor. Pastries are incredible. Coffee is tasty, not burnt. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Highly recommend the quiche and side pasta and any of their melt in your mouth buttery croissants.

They have elite pastries and some really great breakfast. The Coffee strong. The service was very friendly. It's a great place for a quick sit-down bite. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a necessary stop for mouth watering pastries! The croissants were so flaky and buttery. Macrons, extremely flavorful. Cinnamon rolls, gargantuan! Breakfast potatoes, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. And let’s not forget the coffee! Don’t hesitate to add Madeline’s Cafe & Patisserie to your must taste travel list!!

Interesting location to try new things. I wouldn't call them "French" as the dishes are Americanized. More like fusion cuisine even. The dish I tried had Korean, Argentinian, and Southern influences and nothing French; not even the fries (good try but way too oily for my taste). They were out of croissants (I'll try next time) and drip coffee.

Great dining experience from start to finish. Our waitress Andi was friendly and made excellent recommendations. We ate and ate and still had leftovers! Dessert looked too good not to take it to go, so we did and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Spokane!

Beautiful atmospheric dining perfect for date night. Amazing salmon dip with a perfect cheesy top served on crostini. House salad was rich and flavorful with the house dressing and my Marsala set the bar for that dish with complex flavors in every bite. The fettuccine was also incredible. Took home enough extra for another meal. Kimberly provided attentive friendly service. Definitely my best Italian experience in Spokane

My go to is always the sweet pepper tortellini. It’s absolutely delicious and consistently perfect every time. The food and quality never disappoint. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! :)

I do love going to this restaurant. Their chef makes great food and the pâtissier makes some great desserts. I had their meat ball rotolo and the croissant crust is super light and flaky. We also had the chicken, spinach and walnut rotolo and same thing, great flavors and crust. If you're a bottomless hole for food intake then the portions might seem small but for everyone else their portions are just perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant has the feel of a nice European restaurant.

Our sever Sage was wonderful. The food was outstanding and a lot of it for the money. Timing of all our courses was impeccable. It just left us wondering why we waited so long to come back! Picks are half eaten because I forgot to take pictures before we dug in.

Was recommended this place from a friend. I was highly disappointed. It started with having to make a reservation for dinner only to find out that 95 percent of the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. Once seated I ordered diet Coke. When I received it it was 80% carbonation so I had to send that back. I ordered an Italian soda and it had the same problem. I just drank that one. I ordered baked spaghetti. Worst meal I ever tasted. Noodles were undercooked and they definitely were not washed. It had a dishwater taste to it. They did let me order another meal which was better. Did get a little attitude from the waitress but I'm not going to eat something that tastes horrible. The dessert was good however. Two people 113.00 I don't think it's worth it. Maybe some other meals were better maybe the pizza is better I don't know but I was severely disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place, but for what we spent it was not worth it. They have fine dining prices and the food was not bad, but not great. There were probably only two other tables seated while we were there and it still took a very long time. I will say the cheese bread appetizer is really awesome. I had a marsala and the chicken was just dry and the dish was kind of greasy. My daughter had a steak and it was tough. The desserts are cool with the wide variety. Some tasted great, others were very sweet. The server was so sweet, an older lady, so I really wanted to give a good review. With tip we were around $200 for a family of four. The area is also very sketchy and under a bridge. Not the safest. Wouldn't be a top choice for us but I may try again someday in the case they were having an off night.

Arrived shortly after it opened and this place was packed (the line went out the door)! Service was absolutely great; the servers were friendly and kind, food and drinks were out quickly and everything tasted great.

A gem in Spokane, Rockwood Bakery is a must-visit spot. Their coffee is spectacular, and the food is just as impressive—everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Beyond the great food and drinks, what really makes this place shine are the workers, who are an absolute delight. Great coffee shop! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and really made us feel comfortable. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. A gentleman with a mustache took our order, he was fantastic. We also chatted with the cashier, she was super sweet and had such a bubbly personality. (wish we had asked their names!) We mentioned we were visiting the town, and she told us she had moved here a few years ago. She even shared some great feedback and recommendations on places to visit, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend!

Food would be 5 stars but the quiche crust was overbaked and the texture of the quiche was not great. The cinammon scone was AMAZING, coffee was good, seating was easy to find, the neighborhood is super cute, stopped by on the way to Manito Park.

Stopped by here on my lunch break and I'm glad I did but also afraid I will be coming back far too often lol. The cinnamon rolls are possibly the best I've ever had. They're crispy like a danish yet perfectly buttery soft, just mouthwatering. And the zucchini walnut bread was heavenly. As well as the cookie. Everything tastes so fresh and home baked and is very filling. The people up front are friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this place.

Came at noon on a Saturday and it's a pleasant amount of busyness. They have a plethora of food items and all of their coffees come out looking and tasting great!

Thus is a fun bakery and meeting place near Manito Park on the near south hill in Spokane. They have a wide variety of store made muffins, scones, sweet roles, quiche, breads, and breakfast burrito and sandwiches. The coffees good, other drinks too. I'll be back for sure.

The food was for a catered event. I wouldn't recommend eating here! The food was completely cold. Everything tasted very sweet. You couldn't taste the pulled pork through the amount of sauce they added. The mac and cheese tasted bland and was burnt on the bottom. The beans were okay, but were so sweet I couldn't eat more than a couple bites.The corn muffins were good, but they were cold and the cheese inside was hard.. I found 2 very long hairs baked into my mac and cheese. I don't know where all the great reviews come from, but I wouldn't eat here again. It's way over priced for gross food!!

Hands down the best bbq I’ve had. The cornbread is amazing. I would come back for the cheesy cornbread alone. My favorite choice of meat was the turkey. My partner and I got a shared plate (I forgot what it’s called) and it was a lot of food! And it did not disappoint. Service was great. Our server was attentive and friendly. We went on a Thursday afternoon just after 6 and we were surprised that it wasn’t busier because of how good the food was. A must visit spot!!

My journey to have BBQ in every state led me to this amazing place. By far the best bbq I have had. Everything was cooked to perfection. The house sauces were amazing. The owners show some they care what is being served - we showed up between lunch and dinner and had the best there was for the day. We ordered as much as two people should be allowed to. Thick sliced brisket and ham both tender. The bbq beans, bacon potato salad and jalapeño pasta were incredible. The menu is large for a bbq place - there was a starter called cheeseburger egg-rolls- Yes Please! Amazing. In the back of the seating area was a pie station. Hours later we were able to take on the strawberry lemonade cheesecake pie- unbelievable- so rich and all the flavors were there. The themed restaurant is top notch with large bar and seating area. This is a standard that a restaurant should be trying to achieve. Service was top notch. Spokane and the Outlaw is on my BBQ map now and it should be on yours as well.

The corn jalapeño pasta salad is delicious. Had the chopped brisket, pulled pork, southern mac n cheese, smoked turkey potato, and Texas chili. Everything was amazing. Will definitely come back again when visiting Spokane.

As close to Texas as you’ll get in the parts… fried okra was to perfection, the sweet tea was amazing (can’t get good sweet tea anywhere) the pull pork sandwich was awesome. Our server was great. I’d go again if I lived in Spokane or next time I’m here.

Good place for BBQ. Stick with a smoked turkey sandwich, wings, and their craft drinks. All the food is pretty good, imma let you make your mind up about the brisket. Service is excellent, might have s wait if you have a large, 6 or over, group.

Our party of five was seated quickly, we arrived at about 5:00 p.m. There was still plenty of seating. Ice water was brought to our table promptly. Our waiter was very cheerful and helpful. We ordered the Ruben Sandwich with Brisket. Others at our table ordered Brisket Tacos (plus a Cheeseburger, and Chicken strips from the kids menu). At the end of the meal, we went to look at the dessert options - - - wow! So many delicious options. We will definitely return to Outlaw Barbeque; we loved it!

Nestled in Kendall Yards, I loved the vibe of this cute donut shop! I was there for my birthday dozen of mini donuts and I sampled almost all the flavors! I treated myself to an ocean drink and was surprised by the mini donuts on top and the pretty edible glitter! The donuts were amazing and such a delectable treat!! Definitely worth a stop when you're down that way!

Hello Sugar is my new favorite spot for a coffee and doughnut pick-me-up! The doughnuts are fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly and made me feel super comfortable from the moment I walked in.

This was my first time trying Hello Sugar, and I honestly was underwhelmed by the lack of customer service. Was there 2-3 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and asked what I needed. I placed my order and waited another 10 minutes while the person who does the donuts "finished up" labeling the ice cream case. Apparently the "coffee person" only does drinks and takes orders, as she just stood behid the counter doing nothing. Donuts were okay, but nothing special for the price.

A cute shop. The atmosphere is fun and colorful. I’ve came in and ordered a few times. Each and everytime was a completely different experience. The “new” girl working the counter needs an exponential amount of more training, she’s clueless and I can tell she gets on her coworkers nerves. She needs more customer service training, more shop knowledge, and just a better attitude all together. She gives the impression of the owners daughter that can’t get fired. Lol The couple of times I went in and the girls “kind of” knew what they were doing were the best, my donuts and drinks came out how they are advertised. They are cooked and made to order; so it does take time that they don’t care to tell you about (about 10-30mins). I’ve order the same type of drink and it came out looking and tasted differently every visit. I’ve paid for various sizes and received the drink in the same cup. Overall, the food IS delicious but there is zero consistency between visits. Most were disappointing, knowing the capabilities that this shop has. The complaints are within the customer service and management, NOT the potential product that they could provide. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. :)

Very friendly staff, was very busy and there were only 2 gals working but they worked hard to make sure everyone got excellent service. Even though the wait was long I could see them working very hard to manage and juggle everything. Im sure it was stressful but they kept a positive and professional demeanor! The donuts were excellent! Was my first time in and was not disappointed.

I love Nothing Bundt Cakes not only because of their delicious Gluten Free options but mainly because of Kaylee. She is such a welcoming breath of fresh air. Kaylee makes my day with her vivacious positive attitude and she's always so friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. She is an absolute sweetheart.

This is the worst Bundt cake my family and I have ever been to. The girl that works there named Sophie is so rude and on drugs. She made our experience horrible. I went there 2 more times and got the 5 of the smores cakes and all we're missing marshmallows. I won't be back after 3 times of dealing with a unfriendly rude attitude for no reason.

Love their stuff. There are three sizes of cakes to buy. My favorite are the mini bundtinis, you get a dozen for $22. There are a number of flavors; I think the best ones are white chocolate raspberry and confetti. The staff is nice and friendly. Each cake comes with cream cheese icing that is to die for. They also freeze very well so you can stock up and enjoy for weeks to come

These guys came and brought a cake to my daughter’s accounting office on tax day so of course she wanted to use them for her baby shower. - I was a little unsure- but I was wrong! Everyone said it was the best cake they have ever tasted! I picked it up the day before the shower and left it in the fridge- it was truly amazing! - wish I had a better picture!

Okay how does this place not have a line out the door at all times. It has the cutest aesthetic and patio. I walked in and knew this would be my go to coffee shop ❤️ the pastries are a 10/10. So far I’ve tried the pecan bar and the cinnamon pop tart. The coffee is also delicious. If you ever want to go out for coffee definitely opt for this cute spot.

What a wonderful little bakery. Truly a gem. I stopped by this morning after reading the reviews and wanting to find a little spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee, maybe a baked good. It was the perfect morning that I needed. The store is quaint and lovely but the patio is the magic spot to be. Lovely flowers in various stages of bloom filled the air with a gentle sweetness. The patio is covered from the sun and a gentle breeze rolled in every now and then. I sat for several hours enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, reading a good book and sipping my coffee. I tried a few of the treats and the pecan bar was incredible. I haven't been home in nearly 6 months and I was craving a good homemade chocolate chip cookie, the kind with slightly crunchy exterior but a good soft chew in the middle and there's was everything I was hoping it would be. I love this little shop, so glad I stopped in.

Just found this gem when we were in Spokane today. The coffee was very good and the gluten free vegan cupcakes were absolutely delicious!! Tamar, the owner, is the sweetest and said she does catering, weddings and deliveries! Highly recommend!!

Adorable and yummy! Seems like coffee, scones, and cookies are the mainstays. There are other offerings. The proprietor is so sweet. You can watch them pull baked goodies out of the oven. The inside is cute with a floral accent wall and paintings for sale by a local artist. Inside, soft jazz/piano. Outside, a couple of young people were playing guitar and singing. Great ambiance.

These ladies are amazing and make really good gluten free (gf) sweets! Come check them out!

Here is a warning to anybody who eats at this place, I have come to find out that the owner leaves Dairy cones that are supposed to be refrigerated out all day in her presentation boxes right out front by the register, I have also come to find out that she sold a day old cherry pie that was left out all night to a customer, she doesn't follow standard sanitation responsibilities, I was also informed that she uses day-old sanitation water to clean her equipment she does not follow the health department guidelines to where the sanitation water needs to be changed every two to four hours, also she doesn't test her sanitation water to make sure it is up to code, she treats her employees like garbage in fact I was informed that one of her employees was given a two-day notice to make a $1,000 wedding cake which in my 15 plus years of cooking experience as a chef is totally unacceptable, at minimum a $1,000 three-tier wedding cake is supposed to be given at minimum a week to two week notice. for everybody's health and safety I would recommend someone to call the health department on this woman because she does not clean properly, her Bakery might be called made with love but it is more like made with greed because she rather try to make the money then try to do it out of love she is trying to get her hands in every company that she can before even able to produce the items that she says she's going to, furthermore I have been informed that she does not listen to the customers complaints in fact she never gets back to the customers that complains, she is under the impression that her being self-taught is better than listening to somebody who went to actual baking School for Everybody's Health and safety I would highly not recommend eating here she will make you sick if not worse

The homemade chai was absolutely delicious! The entire place was such a vibe, and the staff were excellent. Loved the outdoor patio, and its dog friendly!

Great cake and great cookies. My favorites are the butter pecan cookies and huckleberry thumbprint cookies- great texture and flavor! Reasonably priced. My favorite of the sliced cakes are the chocolate cake with chocolate chip frosting, the tuxedo cake and the mini birthday cakes. Yum!! They have a wall with windows to see all the various sliced cakes in the refrigerator so you can choose. The cakes are moist and tasty and the frostings are smooth, creamy and great flavors. Hubby likes the red velvet best- try them all! Always make a point to visit and stock up when I'm in Spokane.

Everything about using this bakery for our wedding was amazing. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, service was great and the cake was delicious! Prices were very reasonable as well. Can not recommend this place enough!

This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Spokane. The food was delicious and the service was great. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great and so helpful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was incredible. There was so much flavor and I was so glad I got it. My colleague got the bucatini and said it was really good as well. They also brought out some bread with the most delicious sweet butter. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely go back.

Tonight was our third visit to Wild Sage and what we’ve found is that this restaurant NEVER disappoints! We tried their tácitos and now we see why people rave about this appetizer. It’s the perfect blend of crunch, spice and creamy avocado! We love their bacon and blue cheese salad and have gotten this every time we’ve eaten there. There’s something very satisfying about this flavor combination that has us committed to repeating it with each visit. Their light popovers with lavender honey butter are divine and are bordering on an addiction for us both. We tried the bouillabaisse and agreed that the rich, savory sauce pulled all of the flavors together and made it a winner! We ended our meal with their signature coconut cake that, I’m convinced, could solve the world’s problems—oh my, is that heavenly! Our hostess tonight was Sophie (a friendly, bubbly girl who welcomed us and made us comfortable from the start), our server was Mike (knew the menu very well and was able to make some great recommendations for us, he timed the delivery of each dish perfectly so that we weren’t left waiting for the next course), our cook was Logan (very talented chef who made every flavor pop!) and we even met the owner, Garth, tonight. He’s a great, down-to-earth guy who has formed a fabulous team that performs together like clockwork. We had an excellent meal and an enjoyable evening! We’ll be back soon because we love this place!

Wild Sage Bistro is pure love from the first bite! The food is insanely delicious, every dish feels like a mini masterpiece, and the presentation? You’re eating with your eyes first! Everything is plated with so much care, like proper fine-dining vibes. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, perfect for a chill dinner. And thank God, the windows are covered — no need to see the “horrors” of downtown Spokane! 😂🤪 Inside, it’s gorgeous, stylish, and just feels special. I’m definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone — a must-visit in Spokane!

We had an awesome anniversary dinner here. First time trying it and we were really impressed with everything. Our server Sean was wonderful and attentive. He made great recommendations and we loved everything that we tried. They have mocktails and non-alcoholic beer which was a plus for us because we don't drink. We tried the taquitos and while we are not vegetarian, it was really nice you have options without meat. We loved them. The flavor was awesome. We got the lemon chicken which was really unique and had great flavor. The veggies were so fresh you could tell they were like same day picked most likely. My husband got the flank steak and he loved it. It came with potatoes and they were cooked perfectly and awesome. We got the coconut cake for dessert as well as the chocolate macaroon vegan ice cream. It was very cool to find out that most of the items are gluten free. My husband said it was the best ice cream he has ever had. We ate upstairs and the area was kind of tight but it was still very enjoyable. We were frequently checked on. E salads were awesome and we also loved the rolls. They gave us little chocolates for our anniversary which was very appreciative and they were very tasty. The only negatives I have are the area is a little sketchy and we chose to walk there from our hotel. I would not recommend walking in the area. And the only negative I could find in the food was that my parmesan polenta was a little colder than the other items on my plate. I feel like it was maybe plated first or something but it definitely had great flavor was, just a little cold. I was impressed and would love to try this place again.

Wild Sage was amazing, we sat at the bar to grab some quick cocktails and apps before heading downtown and ended up having a great experience. Alex at the bar had some great recommendations for us, the Taquitos were out of this world! The kilt lifter and the H.F. Bean Old Fashioned were both great. The real star of the show however was her custom taken on an espresso martini which I want to name Arabesque Aurora. It. Was. Amazing! Definitely make your way here and treat yourself. 10/10 will be going back.

The appetizers blew us away! The taquitos and the ahi tuna crudo was amazing! All the ingredients that made up the plate was impressive.

Outstanding food quality, elevated breakfast favorites here in a casual and comfortable setting with ample indoor and outdoor seating and friendly, efficient service. Oh yeah and the cappuccino is on point! I love this place! Get in line at the counter to order. They assign you a table number as you're waiting in line. Order. Head to your table and they bring everything to you. Get there early if you can because this place gets busy. I had the best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. Every detail perfect. The fresh baked English muffin, the decadent hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and high quality ham all worked in harmony to create eggs Benny bliss! Kudos to the kitchen! And the Maple Pecan Scone I tasted was excellent.

If you don’t mind throwing down for the ultimate brunch experience, this is certainly your place. Tucked right off the Pullman highway just a few minutes from downtown Spokane, this location knows their brunch. When you enter, you get a whiff of fresh baked goods and a large open commercial kitchen that showcases their pastry creations of the day. While the line can be a bit long on weekends, they have created a seamless system where you order your meal at the front register and get a pastry right away while you go find a table and wait for your drinks and meal. Savory or sweet, they have it on the menu. I had their matcha latte and eggs florentine, with a chocolate croissant and couple pastries for the road. The food is entirely reasonable for the large portions you get. Flavors were sensational and absolutely satisfying. If you want to kick your morning up a knotch from the standard espresso, they have Irish coffees, Bloody Mary’s and Spiced Russians. This place knows how to do it right!

Had a friend recommend this place and it did NOT disappoint! Walking in I was welcomed with the most charming patio and cozy vibe indoor. Every single staff member was chatty, happy and seemed in great spirits! We sat and maybe waited for what felt like five minutes and then our food came out. As if it couldn’t get any better the food and latte knocked it out of the park! 10/10 recommend! You can feel the love that goes into this place! We will be back!

Stopped in for dinner, got the pork chop fritter, the Yukon gold potatoes were amazing. The server was stretched pretty thin but did great. The vibe is eclectic, prices are reasonable. Beautiful outdoor patio for nice weather.

The food and coffee were good, felt like the portions were generous. You walk up at the front to order and then sit down, so we didn't have a server checking in. We were sat in the back by the window and unfortunately we were being swarmed by flies. It was even hard to shoo the flies away, flies got in my food and my husband had to pick some out because they were so stubborn and everywhere. Definitely an appetite-killer. Due to the lack of service, we let staff know afterwards, I don't know if anything was done.

Their eggs flourentine is the best I've ever had. It was very savory, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere & service was also very nice. We had to come back a second time before the end of our trip because we loved it.

I've never had Ethiopian food until yesterday but oh my god why did i wait so long? Its sooooo delicious. Me and my partner shared the meat and veggie combo plate and it was excellent. The service was really good and everyone was super friendly. My partner and i's favorite dishes were the Yesiga w'et and yatakilt alicha. The beef was super flavorful and spiced, had a kind of sour almost tamarind like flavor and the potatoes were nicely flavored but subtle and a good compliment to the very flavorful meat dishes. The beef sambussa and dabbo were also lovely. I did not care much for the cheese that we tried but it was okay. The prices are great for the amount of food. Wonderful can't wait to come back and try some more dishes!

On a recent trip to Spokane, Came here on a lark after spotting it the day before. We were going to a different restaurant and decided to try it out the next day, and boy, that was the best decision we could have ever made. We came and it took a little long to receive our orders but our server was awesome. She was enthusiastic and very kind. She helped us figure out what we should get and compared it to dishes that we would be familiar with. (Ex Injera with Dosa bread). The food did not disappoint. We ordered three big plates of food. It was a fun, hands on experience. They didn’t give utensils so we got to eat with our hands. It was fun to wrap your food in the injera (bread) and eat it. There were six people in our party and we were able to share all of the food. We ended up devouring our meal. It was super tasty and flavorful. Overall, five stars all around!

We were so excited over the presentation and aroma of the food that we didn't take any pictures, but believe me when I say, everything about our meal was INCREDIBLE. Amazing/friendly service, wide variety, fair prices (if anything I would pay more), and everything was quick. I don't know if I've ever inhaled anything so fast. I've always wanted to try Ethiopian food, and I'm so glad this was my first experience. 12/10. I can't wait to go back and try more!

The rumors are true. Not gonna lie, though the reviews at first had to be bluffing about some of the best southern food being in Spokane but I am a believer now. Came in town for work and will be back before I go. Excellent ribs, red beans and rice, really good greens (which I think is hard to find in a restaurant) and the chicken was crispy and nice. I’m walking for the street smiling and licking my lips lol plus they’re really friendly too!

The chicken and JoJo's were the star of the day for me. I would go back for those hands down. The jumbo was delicious but I felt like the green beans would use more seasoning and the mashed potatoes would be better with a brown gravy. Wonderful family restaurant though.

We loved our fried chicken, coleslaw and red beans and rice, 2 of us for $11 each, $22 total (I’m not sure what the negative review people are talking about) We will always make a stop at Chkn n More! Amazing southern food! The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies were amazing! Freshly made food and hole in the wall cozy atmosphere. Super friendly and kind service as well. One guy was working there alone but went above in beyond with customer service, communication, taking orders AND cooking! We will definitely be back!

Straight out of the fryer chicken. Cooked properly. Critiques: brining the chicken in a salt bath would add juicyness and flavor. Barring that, just adding salt to the dredge would help. The staff were personable and friendly. The owner was there and just a good dude to talk to. The sides were good. Greens tasty, BBQ beans tasty, and the standout was the red beans and rice. That side alone made the trip worthwhile. It is a hole in the wall restaurant in old town. So sketchy people were here and there. But the southern fried chicken joint vibe was priceless. Worth a look.

Restaurant is tucked away downtown. Easy to miss but you don't want to miss this place. The food is straight Fire, talking about premium gas right here. For my elders that means the food is really good. The man at the counter was super awesome. The owners Grandson was not very photogenic he also said this place has enough 5 star reviews they didn't need mine.

I didn’t choose to be in Spokane, but am damn glad that I ended up on a trip here because otherwise I’d never had got to try Chicken N More! Got the 10 oz. chicken fried steak w/ a side of mash & macaroni salad. Some of the best southern food I’ve had in a while for more than a reasonable price. And I can’t forget— the staff here are naturals with their customers!! Shout out to Logan and the other guy working the evening shift for sparking up conversation like nothing. Some of the friendliest service I’ve ever received. Super glad I stumbled on this gem.

Food was great. The shrimp scampi had a great amount of sauce. The bocce rolls were a perfect starter. The baked Mac was a good mixture of protein with the chicken and bacon, with creamy Mac. Only downside to this place is you are sitting too close to people. We were only about maybe two feet from the other tables.

Great experience! I said at the bar one night and at a table another night. Great service both times and the food is outstanding! I tried several appetizers and even dessert along with the main course and everything I tried was amazing. I highly recommend the deviled eggs Because if you like deviled eggs, these are a must try.

The food did not disappoint!! From the ambiance to the service and from the food to my company, it was a hit! The Gilded Unicorn has a simple but eloquent menu that allows for anyone to enjoy a new top tier favorite that they will definitely tell their friends about. I think the worst part was the fact that it was incredibly hard to decide which entree we wanted since it all sounded so amazing. Bradley was our server (you were great) and he knew the menu well and had no issue making suggestions when we asked. The colorfully eccentric framed artwork as well as the nearly medieval feeling brick walls and solid wood tables almost felt like a castle mixed with a hint of speakeasy! Come here and you won’t regret anything other than not having an insatiable appetite! 10/10 experience overall but 11/10 food!

Woah! Everything was exceptional from the moment we walked in. We started with the deviled eggs & tater tot casserole and OH! MY! GOSH! Deviled eggs, best thing I think I’ve ever put in my mouth. And the tater tot casserole was next level. For entrees we ordered the burger & the gnocchi and both were incredible. Perfectly cooked. Highly highly recommend!!!

Our meal was incredible. We will absolutely be back for the tater tot casserole & the berry lemon cake! The tots were perfectly crispy, even when smothered in the delicious gravy that came on the side. Plus the pot roast in the casserole? YUM. The shrimp in the shrimp scampi were excellent as well. We really can't say enough good things, and can't wait to try more of the menu! Warm cozy interior was nice, too

This is a very unique location down stairs in the cellar. Deviled eggs was a great starter, Ceasars salad large portion and very good flavor. The porkchop was amazing.

It's down a long set of stairs into the basement of a building. Love the atmosphere. If you can tell from the pictures, it's like dining in a castle kitchen. The details are amazing - and we had fun discussing what we thought was 'new' vs original. I had made a reservation for 545pm and the place was nearly empty. However, it filled up at the 7pm mark. Tables are fairly close to each other and there isn't that many. Service started out great, but it looked like there was only 1 server, 1 bartender, and 1 manager. At one point probably 10 tables in there. It slowed significantly and we had to wait on plates cleared and checks. The food was great. Burger looked amazing, stuffed peppers were too spicy for me but my colleagues loved it. Mac and cheese was creamy and tasteful in a cast iron skillet. Gnocchi and shrimp scampi were very flavorful in sauces that complemented the dish. Gnocchi says sun dried tomatoes on menu and it was chopped fresh, tablemate made 3 comments that it definitely would have been better with sun dried - I would guess he might give the dish 3 stars because of that. Overall, happy with the food and atmosphere, will be back.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty sushi. Tried medium fatty tuna sashimi here for the first time and fell in love. The Kamakazi and Godzilla rolls were delicious, and the rainbow Naruto was a refreshing showstopper. In case there's no indoor sitting, it's worth sitting in the hot sun for 🌞

The food was absolutely delicious. The hot sake is an absolute must, especially when followed by a cheeky cold sake next. I can not remember the names of what we got, but the portion sizes were nice for the price Also the waiter we had was one of the friendliest and most helpful waiters I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.

One of my favorite fresh fish sushi place. Also their oysters are amazing. Small butt freshest I ever had and sauce is amazing. I had two dozen and Uni and some other stuff, but they’re fish as fresh as it could be.

Best sushi in Spokane. High quality fish! Rolls are tight and very tasty. The staff Is very knowledgeable and knows their menu and eager to help you figure out what you like. The drinks are expensive, but so good!!! They have definitely perfected the bar using quality ingredients makes a big difference. highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place! It was my first time here and my mom’s second time. Julia was an exemplary waitress and answered all of our questions! The food was fresh, full of flavor and simply delicious. The watermelon drink special was the best mixed drink I had ever had. Can’t wait to go back.

Came here for a birthday party and my order was forgotten. It happens. Large group, gracious attitude. Over 20 min later I still don’t have my one roll while everyone else is paying by check and done eating. Waiter kept the roll on the bill, still hadn’t arrived, insincere with apology. Offered a to go box and we ended up canceling it all together. I had not eaten that day and ended up at McDonald’s for a fry after everyone else had beautiful and delicious sushi. Everyone loved their food.atmosphere is beautiful. I put on a smile and had a good time for my friend. But I was very unimpressed with how I was ignored and treated.

Having the carnitas tacos for lunch made me feel like I was back in Puerto Vallarta. We order from De Leon’s often, typically using the catering option for large get togethers, but today I had to stop and get some bread for making tortas at home and decided to have lunch while there. As always the food was right on point and I left full and happy. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town and a must for those who haven’t tried.

I've been shopping and eating at De Leon's since I was a small child when the De Leon Family opened their first location. It's always been a place of warmth, acceptance, and delicious food served with pride and care. It never seizes to amaze me the quality of their menu and the grocery, it's been consistent for decades, I have come to a point where I just know I'll get everything I expect when I visit and more. De Leon's is what home means to myself and my family and I will continue to share it with the next generation as long as they are around. Best Tamales around by the way.

Owner/Manager Please speak to the ladies who serve food . Very rude to us, we ordered and people after us received their food ahead of us. My daughter was on her lunch break early at 1130 before the lunch crowd. We are with the crowd because she did serve us our food for 10 or so minutes. It's not ok to blatantly treat us this way. Wished I would have gotten a name. She was the younger one. Very sad. Because we are from California and miss good Mexican food. I'm very sad I won't be coming back. But if the ladies knew us they'd like us. Your cashier up front does🥺

Hands down the worst carneceria we’ve gone to. The meat is extremely overpriced (over $8 for pastor when we’ve never paid over $4) and not to mention the taste. I’m not exaggerating when I say the flavor is the least authentic, worst tasting I’ve had in my life. Spokane needs to do better.

Love this place! Come here for real authentic Mexican food. Best tortillas in town in my opinion! They have groceries, a bakery, AND a restaurant at this location on Francis.

I love how they have everything you need for a great Mexican dinner. I also like that you can order food while shopping. I was a bit disappointed with the Mexican bread though. It didn't taste as fresh as the first time I went. Maybe the baker had an off day. Hopefully next time the bread will be softer and will be better. This is my go to store when in Spokane.

Tiffany took my order over the phone today and I was so impressed. She was so thoughtful and kind. We do not eat pork and she even offered to use a different cutting board and a different knife. I really appreciate her willingness to go out of her way for us we love pizza, Rita because they have the best pizza and the best ranch.

I was unhappy when the company changed ownership a few years back. It seemed like it went downhill fast. They have made a huge comeback and this was our first time getting pizza at this location. I took a pizza with dessert to my wife while she was working and she was instantly popular. She said the berry eights were so good that the icing wasn't even needed, but still enjoyed

As usual Pizza Rita comes through again! I ordered a large extra cheese with pineapple and it was perfect! I've never been disappointed with any of the food here and the staff is always exceptional. I feel like this is false advertisement - "best pizza in town" The food smelt good but when I ate the pizza I felt like I was eating an old, soggy cupcake mixed with pieces of outdated meat. If this is really the best pizza then I am honestly terrified of trying any of the other pizza joints. I think Pizza Rita did a good job with their advertising since it scares people from eating anywhere else. So maybe it isn't false advertising only because I haven't tried any of the other places, yet.

This was my favorite pizza growing up in Spokane. I haven’t had it in 10 years or more. And it didn’t disappoint just as great as I remember. Love the thick crust!

I called from next door. Asked if they had any cheese slices. They replied "no, but i can have some in 10 minutes" I was like cool. They were mixing paint for me next door. Painted ready, 2 hot-n-fresh slices...perfect!

OMG. I tried the oat sandwich bread and the red wheat bread — both were amazing. But the absolute star of the show (besides the fantastic service) was the kouign amann. So many bakeries miss the mark with this pastry — it’s often too greasy or too buttery — but this one was perfect. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Also want to shout out the woman working the counter this morning (around 9am) — it was my first visit and she took the time to explain all the breads and treats, which made the whole experience even better. I also got the avocado toast (I forget exactly what spread was under it, but it had a spicy kick and was incredible). I wish I could have stayed longer. What a gem!

They have bread! Daily and special selection by day of the week. Avocado toast was good, should have had them put an egg on it 🤔. Ham and Swiss croissant was great. Bought some bread and muhumara 😍

Today was our first visit to the Grain Shed in the Perry District and I will say the Roasted Turkey Sammy was the best ever!! Fresh bread and fresh ingredients!! The spicy slaw and herb mayo just added so much flavor!! The Helles Lager was exceptionally refreshing and good!! And Toby... what a friendly guy!! And the entire staff was so personable!! Thank you all for the delicious treat and we'll definitely be back. And we can't wait for their restaurant to open in Liberty Lake!!

Top culinary experience of my life. This is what baked foods should be. Unreal!!

Alright, so here’s the deal. I get the granola here all the time. Like, it’s become a thing. My partner and I wake up, eat it together before walking the dogs, and I swear it’s one of those small, perfect morning rituals that makes life feel good. I don’t know what they put in it, maybe love, maybe magic, but it’s seriously the best granola I’ve ever had. Crunchy, balanced, not too sweet, not too hipster. Just right. Then there’s the veggie sandwich. I think they call it the OG or something like that. It’s ridiculous how good it is. I’ve actually tried to recreate it at home, which went terribly, and I gave up halfway through. And it’s not even like I need to save money doing it myself. The price here is kind of genius. It’s that rare combination where you’re like, “Yeah, that’s worth it.” You feel good spending money here because you can tell it’s going to people who care. Now let’s talk about the staff. What’s up with these people? Where do they find them? Everyone’s so nice and happy it almost feels suspicious. They’ve either discovered the secret to human joy or they’re getting paid better than anyone else in the service industry. Either way, it’s working. The place has this warm, family vibe where everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, which, let’s be honest, is rare these days. On weekends, you sometimes see kids running around helping out, and I’m just assuming they’re the owners’ kids. Otherwise, there’s a whole child labor situation happening, kidding obviously. But really, it adds to the charm. It feels like a real community space where everyone pitches in. And let’s not forget pizza night. Pizza night has saved my life more than once. It’s one of those things you look forward to after a long week. You walk in, you see familiar faces, smell that wood-fired magic, and suddenly the world makes sense again. All in all, Grand grain Shed is one of those rare places that just feels good. The food’s incredible, the energy is right, and the people are real. It’s the kind of place you brag to your friends about but also secretly don’t want to get too popular because you still want a seat. Seriously, five stars, maybe six if they ever start selling that granola by the bucket.

Everything we ate was delicious! I loved the idea and execution of a bread and sauce flight and there was live music.

What a fantastic bakery! Not only was the lady absolutely precious, the coffee and food was scrumptious! I travel a lot with my family and we are always on the hunt for excellent coffee shops with homemade treats and as y’all know it can sometimes be hit or miss but this morning was a HIT!! This was such a treat and was such a great experience! Mainly because of how lovely the lady was and how sweet and chipper she was early in the morning but to top it off the coffee and food was fantastic! I highly recommend and would go back yesterday if I could! ;)

The food is so so, the wait to be served is seriously awful. While I was waiting over 20 minutes to give my order this morning the guy ahead of me gave up and left. The food just isn't really my cup of tea, but the lemon tart was truly awesome. I ordered a slice of lemon tart, a frittata and a mocha drink. The tart came up right away, the fritatta was about 5-7 minutes later, and the drink was also some amount of time. I felt like my entire visit was watching for the separate pieces of my order to appear on the counter top.

Right idea, terrible execution. Great service but, bagel was mealy and flaccid (they were out of cream cheese). Chorizo breakfast wrap was without chorizo, it was just flat squash. No flavor. Espresso was stale and 16oz iced coffee was 2oz of bad coffee and a cup full of ice. Service was good and the place did not feel rushed, but both the food and the coffee were just terrible.

Great local coffee shop and bakery. The food offerings have great eye appeal and equally delicious flavors. They serve their own roaated coffee that is great im any drink. The staff is always hustling. They get your order right and serve it with gratitude that you're a customer.

We stopped here on our way to Glacier National and it was such a great experience. The staff was so cheerful and competent and they made our morning. Delightful place. My peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was wonderful, and I wanted to try everything in the case, as it all looked spectacular. Our beverages were super, as well.

It's nice to see this neighborhood ice cream shop being bright back to life. You used to see little businesses like this in residential areas. A hidden in oasis that only people in the neighborhood would know about or go to. And this place feels like that. It has a lovely nostalgic atmosphere and great ice cream. Unfortunately the price like most things is too high for this to be a regular place to visit. But ice cream probably shouldn't be a regular thing in the diet so it probably works out fine. No real place to enjoy your ice cream there. It's more of a walk in and continue walking treat.

I really enjoyed the ice cream a lot . Excellent quality and presentation. The choices left a little to be desired but it’s not a deal breaker. The place is extremely old with some great antiques on display. There is nowhere to sit inside which sucks but it does have a cool garden themed outdoor patio / yard set up with outdoor dining. Definitely worth checking out .

We took our grandchildren to Doyle's today for ice cream cones. It was fun to introduce them to a place I enjoyed visiting a few times in the '70's. They serve great ice cream! This place is like a time capsule that hasn't changed since I was in college forty-five years ago! The flavors we chose today were chocolate, black licorice, lemon, maple walnut, butter brickle, bubble gum, and dark chocolate raspberry. Everyone enjoyed the flavors they chose.

If I could give you more than 5 it'd be more like 100. Amazing!! The flavors were on point. The mildly peach and the banana tasted exactly as you would imagine if you were eating the actual fruit. The scoops are well worth the price. My friend said when she walked it was like unlocking a childhood memory from when she was 4. So thank you for remaining the same minus the barstools.

A Spokane institution selling great homemade ice cream. When I tell people about it I’m surprised how many locals have never heard of it, since it’s been here since 1939. They’ve revamped the patio to make it more spacious with a wood fence enclosure for privacy and all the grass has been replaced with what I assume is concrete made to look like rock. Still great ice cream, the Rocky Road was heavenly.

Cute ice cream parlor, the flavors vary and are delicious. The Huckleberry ice cream tasted amazing. You can get cones, bowls, shakes or get pints/quarts for later.

My sweet treat loving self has never been so satisfied in my whole life. Banana brownie ice cream and the homemade waffle cone will forever be the key to my heart. The guy scooping was super great and gave us a little bit of the history on the place!

Amazing coffee. It was so so good. Very cute decor. On street parking only. Staff wasn't super organized and it took a while to get my drink. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. No soy milk... which is my fav. It was almost $9 for a latte however....

Wonderful delicious coffee! You can tell that they know what they are doing. The space is clean/spacious and inviting. Except don't crawl up the the walls 😆. We had a berry summery cold latte and a delicious hot latte and some breakfast sandwiches and every single thing was delicious and we'll crafted. I'm back home in Seattle! (Home of great coffee) and I wish we had a First Avenue coffee here.. so so good.. There's a reason it's expensive Wendy!! Cause it's extremely good and high quality. Normally I'm very frugal but in instances when a high price is deserved I will admit it.. Wendy.. 3 stars for me they'd have to spill a latte on me and call me a nasty 3 star giving.. oh wait I apologize this is a review I need to keep calm and coffee up! Will return next time we're in Spokane - don't listen to the haters this is 100% worth it and if you can't afford good coffee theres a McDonald's where you can get it for half price and it's about half as good..

What a cool coffee shop. Love the coffee. I got a 4 shot latte and an iced black coffee. The food looks amazing. Cookies are tasty and muffins too.

This coffee shop is spacious, uniquely decorated ( a chandelier made of actual instruments) and staff was very friendly. We tried one of the signature lattes as well as an oatmilk latte. Also tried some of the pastries. I can say that the biscuit they used for the southern breakfast Sammy was PERFECT. It was soft and buttery and crumbled just right. I mean, it was definitely the perfectly cooked biscuit. The pesto egg and cheese sammy also surprised me because despite the bread being made with cauliflower and being gluten free, it was super delicious and you can’t tell at all. My one comment would be regarding consistency. Both lattes were made with oatmilk, but one of the lattes the milk was burnt and thus became bitter. The latte that was not burnt was very delicious however and successfully executed. Overall it was a good experience. Shout out to who ever the baker is.

This is my new favorite coffee place for multiple reasons. The quality is top notch, the staff is friendly, knowledge and efficient, and they're exceptionally creative with their coffee creations. I've been a fan of the Smoked Cold Fashioned for some time now. They recently added a few more unusual creations, including a thyme latte. It probably helps that they make their own syrups.

Very cool vibe inside, with plenty of tables and barstools. They have a loft as well which is the perfect study spot. Their menu has creative seasonal drinks along with all your coffee shop staples (and house made syrups!). They serve roast house coffee which is a plus for yummy coffee and supporting local!

I got a double shot latte to get me to Seattle after five days driving from the East to West! Very friendly and inviting staff. It was nice chatting with the barista and one of the owners. Thanks for great experience!!!

The quintessential looking donut place, no $10 gluten free kind of donuts here. Not that those can't be good too, BUT if you want a super good classic donut go here. 10 outa 10. I will go here any time I stop through town. Really nice staff that seemed super happy to be there, all the power to him. I couldn't be that peppy when my work opens at 5am haha. Amazing donut shop in the spokane area. It is about a 30 min drive out from where I live so I had held off on giving it a try. But after all they hype I had continued to hear on a local food page I had to give them a go and let me tell you fluffys did not disappoint. When you come into the donut shop you are greeted by the owner and his bubbly happy personality and the amazing smell and assortment of donuts. Depending on the day and time they very well may be picked over so if you want optimal selection go very early if you can. I've been going to the same donuts shop for over a decade and highly dissapointed when I venture out to try different shops, not with fluffy's I have to say they are definitely the top of my favorites and well worth the hour round trip it takes to go get donuts. Will recommend to everyone to try. The customer service is phenomenal you can really tell the owner puts his whole heart into that shop and the donuts.

OMG!!!!!!!! You have to try. Great variety for anyone’s taste. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Interacted with us as if we were long time friends. The apple filled donut tasted like Grandma’s home made pie. Also had donut holes for anyone just needing a snack. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Great Donuts!! I ordered a dozen donuts and they were the best donuts I’ve ever had. My favorite donut was the apple fritter and my wife’s favorite is the whipped maple bar. Perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness.

Stopped in for the first time just after noon, knowing the selection would be small, but have been dying to try Fluffy’s. There were about a dozen donuts left and when I got out my card to pay, he said “You’re all good” and handed me my box of deliciousness. Not expecting free but completely appreciated! I will be back as a paying customer!

The whipped maple bars are phenomenal. The donuts themselves are really well-made, very fluffy! Not too much frosting either, if you like a well balanced donut this is the place for you. Best donut place in Spokane hands down! Get there fast though, they run out of donuts fast!

Lovely place, really nice and healthy warm food bar. As well as proper cold salad bar and a lot of preprepared foods. Highly recommend for a good and decent lunch.

The store is super cool. Awesome wine selection and lot of good variety food. It's almost like a mini whole foods, but even some of the foods they have here you can't even find a whole foods. A nice local store. The only thing I could say is they could be a little bit more friendly about giving the code for the bathroom there. I think you could tell which people are there to abuse it and who genuinely need to use it. Especially if you're a customer.

This place is the best. I love to swing by the breakfast bar before work or the lunch side on my break. And the bakery is a must for a sweet treat. The staff is incredibly helpful, everyone in deli!! The lady up front and cashiers go above and beyond to recommend great local products or a new drink from espresso. They are always able to point me in the right direction with a smile. This is my go to spot for a quick bite and friendly faces.

I had a frustrating experience at checkout recently. The cashier, Sophia, scanned several items 2-3 times, inflating my bill by nearly triple the correct amount. After noticing the error, I called for the manager, who was helpful and quickly corrected the mistake. However, Sophia’s repeated errors with scanning and calculating the total were concerning. I hope the store considers replacing her with more experienced, knowledgeable staff to avoid such issues in the future.

This has easily become my favorite grocery store since moving to Spokane. Not overly expensive, but definitely not the cheapest place to shop. The quality of the meat and produce is outstanding and makes the trip well worth it!

I would give this place a five stars because I frequent spokane often and come here for lunch and the great variety of food and drinks. And the staff is amazing. The only disappointment is when I bought a whole bunch of drinks and asked for a glass of ice and they still wanted to charge me a $.76 that's kind of too bad

I have started doing reviews as of today from the perspective of a bicyclist. They are literally across the street from two major bike trails. They have plenty of bike racks and their dining patio is adjacent to it and short walls allow one to watch their bike. Spokane has a lot of bike paths and I find most businesses genuinely suck at accommodating this crowd in anyway. My only criticism is that there shouldn’t be a curb leading up to the bike racks. There should be a ramp so one can ride right up to their parking spot instead of taking a weird loopty loop around the sidewalk. I won’t dock points for this. The whole parking lot is a bit weird and I think they did the best they could with the space.

Good frozen yogurt! There are vegan options. Perfect for hot weather! Nice place!

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt was my first time in. Very high quality product. Healthier than Ice cream and most Yogurt businesses in town. The flavors were delicious and lots of toppings to pick from and 5 warm sauces. Great service an friendly environment.☺️

We live up in the Republic area and we are rarely in Spokane. I hadn't had frozen yogurt in years but I had a serious craving for it when we were picking up supplies from Home Depot. I also really enjoy eating healthy. Imagine my absolute DELIGHT when I found out about Menchie's!! Healthier options available and the ability to make it exactly how you want it. I got a bowl with 4 flavors and a variety of toppings (cheesecake bites, oreos, marshmallow topping, sprinkles) and a big chocolate covered strawberry. I love that you can decide you own portion sizes! Oh my goodness I'm STILL thinking about it this morning!!! Can't wait to go back and try some more flavors! YUM!!!! UPDATE- I just love this place. Added a pic of my most recent bowl with 5 flavors. Still thinking about how good it was....

I went here to get a cup of yogurt. The cashier was friendly and helpful, but there’s no sign for the cost of toppings. The cup of yogurt ended up being more than I thought it would be. I’ll come back here again, but not get toppings next time.

They have various toppings you won’t find at Froyo! Also stickers & temporary tattoos for the kiddos! I will definitely be coming back ;)

This place is fantastic! As soon as you walk through the door you just know you've found your happy place. It's so warm,welcoming and inviting. The owners are super friendly and inviting. The Gelato is INCREDIBLY delicious. You can actually taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love they put into the Gelato

The gelato is great but I was shocked at how little you get for $9. This is 2 flavors and it’s about 8-10 bites worth. As good as it is, I wouldn’t go back sadly. And no I didn’t take any bites out of it. This is how it was handed to me.

The owner was so nice and helpful. Offered us as many samples as we wanted and was happy to go in the back to get other flavors. He let us know he makes everything from scratch and imports the ingredients from Italy! How amazingly authentic! I had the pear and pannacessa with wild berry both were DELICIOUS! My friend tried snickers and raspberry which were also delicious. I highly recommend even in the middle of winter!

Just got back from Europe where we had delicious gelato. Found this place and so glad we did! It’s so good!! The Italian Cookie was fantastic! Our son had the churro flavor and he said that was excellent also. We can’t wait for them to open in the valley. Super nice guy running the place!

Amazing quality and delicious gelato. What fun treat ideas too. We loved everything we tried. The mascarpone pear was wonderful and the mango was perfect. The service was lovely, he was truly proud of his work, and he should be.

My mom loves a good ice cream cake, but has eating restrictions that prevent her from having both gluten and dairy. Staff were kind, helpful, and so accommodating and sensitive to her dietary needs as I ordered a Gelato cake for her birthday. To top it off, our whole family agrees that the Gelato cake was better than any ice cream cake we've had! And so gorgeous, too (the picture included is of our cake). The smile on her face was the best part! We already loved the Gelato, but we are now life-long loyal customers! :)

We went to the grand opening on 1/8/22. Absolutely fabulous and authentic gelato. My mom had strawberry and I had a tiramisu and stracciatella combo scoop. 10/10 Only downside is it is located in the Steam Plant building so parking can be a little challenging especially if you really just want some free, easy parking to run in for a quick gelato fix. Regardless, worth it!

We selected Lilac City Bakery for our wedding cake and amenity cookies for our guest. My husband is Colombian, and they offered us a traditional cookie as an option for our wedding. Amber and the team at Lilac City were AMAZING! The cake looked exactly like the inspirational pictures I gave her. Also, Danny is not a fan of sweets, and she customized the cake flavor and ingredients to please Danny on our wedding day. People are still talking about both the cake and the cookies.

They did my wedding cake! It was sunset colors with caramel vanilla and red velvet. It was really good :) The caramel cake had a lot of flavor (I liked it warm lol) and the red velvet was really moist. I asked for crumb frosting with sunset colors and white flowers

Wonderful little bakery that makes delicious pastries. The cherry danish, white chocolate lemon cookie, and carrot cake cupcake were amazing. It was an awesome experience for Easter with my family.

We ordered a smash cake and cupcakes for a first birthday! I emailed a picture of what I wanted for the cake and they made it exactly as pictured! Everything was done beautifully and tasted amazing. The chocolate cupcakes were gone in a flash! Lilac even offered to make the cupcakes match the cake with the same frosting or sprinkles. (We obviously opted not to, but it was nice knowing it’s an option).

We came in for a specialty cake with only a few days notice and not only did they accept the order. The cake turned out perfect! It was exactly what I wanted and the cake flavoring was delicious. Will definitely return for my next order!!! Staff was super helpful, friendly, and talented!!

I submitted a photo from Pinterest and the baker made the cake the exact same. It was amazing. Everyone was asking where I got it. The cake was so delicious as well. We are very happy with them, and will be back in the future. Thanks! UPDATE: I went to Lilac City Bakery for a baby shower cookie set up. They off course did amazing once agian. They were even able to make vegan cookies for the mom to be. They are now my go to for special bakery items.

I came here for the first time on Juneteenth! I walk in and literally none of the girls said hello hi welcome to crumbl.. nothing. Maybe they had an off day but I’ve noticed that sincere customer service or giving effort is very obsolete in this current society. I do food blogging and I was going to post this on my social media but I may reconsider. Even when the lady gave me the cookies no thanks or anything especially since these cookies are definitely not on the cheap side. Please reiterate that customer service is very important for keeping businesses thriving and please retrain your workers on being more friendly or even saying a couple words. Disappointed. The cookies were decent but I like to rate the whole experience. None of the girls looked like they wanted to be there, no one was upbeat it was really weird. Trust me I smile and I thank you goes a long way

Went here for the first time, ordered 4 large cookies ended up with 5 large cookies. We got a Churro, semi sweet chocolate chunk, cookies&cream cheesecake(not a cookie), sea salt truffle and a oreo cookie sandwich. They were delicious! Some didn't make it to the photoshoot lol. Donut Parade is the absolute best!! I wanted to surprise my husband with donuts for his birthday and they went above and beyond, they even wrote on the donuts as an added surprise!! Thank you donut parade! Plus, the donuts are incredibly delicious.

Older building needing some TLC, service was slow and the person waiting on us didn't seem to know the products and he was difficult to hear not sure if it was him not speaking loud enough or the noise from the fans they had running either it was difficult. The donuts we purchased were ok but nothing special

I love donuts and donut parade sells them (almost) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They’re quality donuts and I find myself going back over and over again because they’re so great. The only drawback is I feel like the maple bar has more of a butterscotch frosting than maple but now that I know to expect it I’m not bothered. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a good donut spot in Spokane.

Nathan and his staff do a great job. The doughnuts are not your basic grocery store doughnuts. Bigger and far better. Great selection too. Well worth the price.

It's an old run down place, but has a bit of nostalgia to it. The doughnuts are ok, they dry out way too fast, but they are good. Kids can color a picture at home that they provide for them and get a free doughnut on their next visit. This got me to come back... My kids colored that things so fast lol Local business, support them if for nothing else than that.

This soulful Spokane southhill biz serves a cornucopia of delightful fresh and dry goods coupled with stunning cheese & to-go food. There’s even a filtered water station next to a vast wall of local and imported wines making any wine sommelier smile. Front checkout counter has an alluring dessert case and high-end espresso beverages. Many local and super-local vendors such as Anvil Coffee, hand-made earrings and clothing items. Southeast side has several tables for wine tasting, or having coffee with friends. Outside - several tables for hanging out, and summer-time brings live music! High quality, mostly organic fresh fruits, vegetables, wine, beer, cheese, chocolates, desserts, flours, chips, hummus, etc…and best of all, the vibe here is friendly and super welcoming!

Super clean, fast friendly service, delicious food! My husband and I dined in at the restaurant, and decided to try a little of this and a bit of that. We were pleased! We can safely say, the Alpastor street tacos, the fish taco, green chicken tamal, carnitas street tacos, ado adobada street taco, chorizo loaded tacos and Taco Alambre were all a great option! The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty, as were the 3 sauces brought to our table. Overall, another great restaurant to add to the list, and several gluten friendly options!

Los Habaneros is our favorite local Mexican restaurant! We’ve tried a lot of different places, but nothing compares. I brought my family who live in CDA to try their food and we can confidently say it’s best Mexican food we’ve had since moving from the Central Valley in CA. 10/10 would recommend. :)

The best Mexican food (especially street tacos and Birria) in Spokane. Having lived in Los Angeles, and all over Western Washington, from Olympia to Everett, I can hands down say Los Habaneros is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, everyone who works here is amazing. I first found this restaurant late one night when trying to figure out where to get food at with some coworkers after work, dine in experience is lovely, and not rushed. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. You can’t compare the food to ANY other Mexican restaurants in Spokane. Not even close. I should also mention the price of their food is great. The cost of the food compared to the quality of the food is superior than anything else you’ll find in the greater Spokane area. 1000000/10 stars. If you live anywhere in Spokane, the drive to get here is worth every second and every mile. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!

I cannot be happier with the service the food and just the environment in general. Staff is all smiles and serving. Food is authentic, you can taste the real mexican season! Made few special request that i was craving and they did. Thank you guys its a little hug from back home <3

We came to this restaurant on a whim, after hearing someone say their food was good… it’s more than good, PHENOMENAL is a better description. Service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

First time here. The shop is small and has coffee on the menu, though I didn’t try it. I asked the price for a dozen donuts and was told $30, but when I checked out, I was charged $35. It was also a bit hard to communicate with the staff. The donuts aren’t terrible, but are they worth $35? Not really.

Overall the dough has a good texture and taste. Any of the filled doughnuts (jelly and custard) are very disappointing. They could be great, but need more in them. The filling is only in 1/4 of the doughnut or less. I really liked the blueberry cake doughnut, but wish it didn't have such a thick coating of glaze. A light layer would be good, but there was just too much.

The maple bar frosting itself had a great flavor, but the donut was very dense, doughy, and slightly wet. It seemed to me like it wasn't completely cooked all the way through, but wasn't totally raw. Even my kid didn't want to eat all of hers. We were both excited to try a treat from here for the first time, so it was pretty disappointing.

Pros: free parking and helpful staff. They also had vegan donuts. Cons: Probably the worst donuts of my life. The vegan donut was so bad it was inedible. The maple bacon was mediocre at best with way too much frosting to cover up the bad dough. The raspberry filed was decent. My total was about $10 for 3 donuts. The store seemed dingy and dirty. Definitely will not be back.

I got a half dozen Vegan donuts and all of them were completely raw in the middle :( I've gotten their donuts a few times and this is the first time so I don't think it's normal for them, just really disappointed this time around. I think the dough was too thick to cook all the way through, felt very heavy.

Super cute shop. The layout is small but done well and seating is spacious. Their donut selection seams a little limited. That said I think it's because they focus on quality and not quantity. Service was very good and warm. Our conversation was very natural and not forced/fake. Definitely will be coming back.

On the morning of Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, I experienced Casual Friday Donuts in the Spokane Valley for the first time. I went inside to place my order and was assisted by Audrey who was really nice and helpful. Because the old fashioned donut I purchased was small, she added an additional old fashioned donut to our box at no extra charge. In addition to the old fashioned donut I also picked out a maple bar, chocolate sprinkle (called a “Homer” in honor of the Simpsons), apple fritter, and a raised donut filled with a peanut butter-type icing. All donuts have their own prices and my order totaled $14.95. I brought the donuts home and presented them to my wife as it was her birthday. She was really pleased but graciously shared them with me. I tried the raised donut, the apple fritter, and the maple bar. All three donuts were delicious, fresh, and filling. The raised donut was especially filling and the peanut butter icing was a nice touch. Believe it or not, the maple bar was probably my favorite. Overall we were satisfied with Casual Friday Donuts. Of course you are going to pay more than you would at a grocery store bakery but for a special treat every now and then I think that is okay. Our family tradition is to always pick up donuts on the morning of birthdays so we will return to Casual Friday.

The food was meh overall. The sides were disappointing and overpriced — $4 for watery mac and cheese that was basically shells in a thin béchamel sauce. The coleslaw was bland, just cabbage and carrots without any real seasoning or vinegar. The meat was decent and the buns were fine, but nothing memorable. Most of the menu items were sold out on a Saturday night, which doesn’t make sense for a BBQ spot. The three employees behind the counter didn’t seem very engaged or welcoming. A small touch like a pickle or garnish would go a long way. Prices keep going up, but the quality isn’t following.

Popped in for a last minute date night. Split the brisket, baked potato, Gouda Mac and cheese, and some bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. The food was delicious and quickly made it to the top bbq option in our area. Service was great, both Nicole and Elijah were friendly and knowledgeable making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The variety of sauces added a nice icing to the meal. My favorite is the Gouda Mac and cheese but those poppers with the original sauce were close seconds. The brisket was so tender and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

I ordered the 1/3 lb pulled pork sandwich and a side of their Gouda mac & cheese and both were delicious! Very friendly and fast service from Whitney and Nicole! Will definitely be back!

Great BBQ pulled pork, enjoyed the pickles as a side dish like the Mac and cheese. Being a tourist from out of state it was nice to eat at a real BBQ restaurant.

I had a large catered order for Father’s Day this year and it was our first time trying out this joint. The whole process was seamless- from taking my order/ to receiving an accurate invoice/ to reminders on pickup day/ and enjoying our meal! The staff handled my order experience very professionally. Now we used to live in the South and this tastes like home! The brisket #1 was the star and it was so moist, tender- just the way it was intended. (My husband’s favorite too- that’s why we ordered plenty). We also got the pork, ribs, sausage, Mac n cheese & beans sides. Beans were phenomenal even my kids loved it! Banana pudding dessert is not to be missed either💛 Now they have 3 different sauces- original/ spicy/ mustard. All really good variety. My only comment would be to maybe add 1 or 2 more delicious yummy sauces. 100% will be back and hands down best bbq in Spokane area!

I’ve been here twice now and both times were a very pleasant experience. I was hoping to include a photo of the food but I just got so excited to eat it, I forgot to take a photo. Oops! The service is amazing, the staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. I don’t usually take the time to right reviews because what’s the point? But if someone sees this I hope they decide to give it a try. I’ve yet to be rushed and they have no problem explaining anything you have questions about. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and it’s a cute place to sit and eat. The food is amazing!! I highly recommend the Gouda Mac and cheese. The brisket chili is mouth watering with just the right amount of spice. (If you like spicy food). My fiancé orders the pulled pork special and he loves it too! The brisket is juicy and well seasoned. You can even order from the kids menu if you just want something light. It’s definitely worth a try!

The ladies there are always friendly. I truly appreciate they offer a dairy free option and it’s delicious! Mondays you can guess the weight of purchase. If you get it right, it’s free!

Froyo was ok. Ran out of cake batter which is usually the most popular. Asked to use the bathroom and it was an obvious lie about “missing the key” so I had to eat my sorta good yogurt with a full bladder. Thanks! What if my 5 year old needed to use it, you’d make him wait?! Or ask another business across the street or wherever?Will never go back. Clerks were inattentive and unhelpful.

We absolutely love this Froyo! The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The ascetic here is great. It's a build your own ice cream with so many topping options. We absolutely love this place.

I got the Georgia peach and it not only smelt like soap but tasted like soap and windex. The soar patch kids were rock hard. I'm only giving a two star because prices were good or it'd be lower.

It was very nice! Staff was friendly, wasn’t busy, nice seating area, there were quite a few flavor options (as well as dairy free), and topping options. Definitely recommend!

The cake was dry and crumbly and a tad flavorless. The frosting was over powering I bought the salted Carmel chocolate cup cake, and a chocolate decadent along with two small macrons for $20, and when shocked at the price, I was met with “if you can here more often and signed up they cost less” lol 🤣 not worth 6.50 a cupcake.. The pistachio macron was okay, but the salted caramel wasn’t worth the 3.25 Sad to throw most of it away!

Some amazing cupcake flavors here. A few things I have noticed, and maybe it was just our batch, but unless there was filling in the cake, they seemed a little dry. The frosting is sweet indeed and stuff enough to take off without tarnishing the shape of the frosting. The lemon curd was my favorite. The ambiance of the store is great. Looking forward to trying another batch and seeing if they are on more moist side.

Coffee can be served in a mug while you sit comfortably nibbling on you desert.

I love Sweet Frostings cupcakes and cookies. They offer fun flavors. One recent flavor was strawberry cheesecake and it did not disappoint. We also tried the strawberry chocolate, but it tasted a bit bitter to me, which I think was from the chocolate drizzle on top. I was not a fan of that one. All other flavors I've tried have been great. They now offer pupcakes for dogs, which I was really excited about. Of course I bought one for my dog because who could resist.

I booked this location for a fairly large baby shower I was nervous however I dropped my items off that I wanted used, and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was wonderful and very attentive without being overbearing. Every single. Detail was just on point and i don’t think anywhere else could have provided the amazing experience that sweet frostings had. Thank you all so very much for helping make life long memories! The place is really cute and the employees are sweet and nice. However the sweets I got were too sugary to my taste. It maybe perfect to some, but just too much for me. The red velvet tasted amazing when I removed the frosting. It had balanced sugar and is was moist and fluffy. Would recommend it for those who have very sweet tooth.

We tried the five-scoop sampler plate and every single flavor was incredible. Each scoop may have been small, but the attention to detail in the flavors really stood out. It didn’t feel like just random options, each one was crafted with intention and care. The standout for us was the mint chocolate chip. If you’re a fan of that flavor, you have to give this place a try. Honestly, it’s some of the best we’ve had!

Strawberry shake was amazing! Milky and real strawberry taste. My best shake place ever!! They have non dairy ice cream also. I tried but regular one was better 😋

The Scoop at Kendall Yards is a gem! I visited twice—once for ice cream and a malt, and again for breakfast bagels—and both experiences were fantastic. Their ice cream selection is unique and absolutely delicious, with flavors that stand out from the usual. The malt was a highlight; the staff member crafting it clearly took pride in her work, and the result was perfection. The breakfast bagels were equally impressive, living up to the high bar set by the previous visit. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to love what they do, which elevates the whole vibe. Can’t recommend this place enough for a sweet treat or a satisfying breakfast!

The Scoop Kendall Yards was wonderful. They offered 3 different non-dairy flavors. Orange Dreamsicle, Strawberry Sorbet and Chocolate Mud Pie. The Mud Pie had gluten free oreos in it. I was able to sample all 3 and chose the Mud Pie because it isn't common to go to a shop that has a chocolate non-dairy option. Hindsight I should have gotten the Orange Dreamsicle. Not because the Mud Pie was bad, I just forgot I'm not a huge chocolate icecream person. I did finish it and enjoy all of it. The waffle cones were fun and made with sprinkles and was also delicious. The shop was small but had a very comfortable seating area along the wall. They had a customer restroom down the hall. The shop is located in a small shopping area along the river. Which was perfect for an evening stroll and conversation afterwards.

A great little ice cream shop located in Kendall Yards. They offer a variety of dairy ice creams, sorbet and vegan ice cream! I had the vegan cinnachocashew (cinnamon/chocolate/cashew)and it was delicious- you would never know it was vegan! They offer several different sizes of cups, as well as sugar cones and waffle cones. Indoor seating, or take your scoop to go as you walk around Kendall Yards! I had been looking forward to coming here since summer, and I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area!

My wife and I visited Scoops for the first time on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. It was on a Kendall Yards Night Market evening so when we went into the shop the line reached all the way to the door. It took some time but we finally made it to the front of the line. The way they do sizes is unique and I didn’t mind it as my wife and I each ordered a kids’ cone but she opted for a funfetti waffle cone while I got a sugar cone. I went with PB oreo and my wife opted for—wait for it—vanilla bean haha (come on dear, branch out just a little bit). My ice cream had big chunks of cookies in it that were actually Oreos (nothing generic). It was good but it didn’t stand out to me as being anything too special. I would return to try a different flavor but I wasn’t blown away by my first experience.

Plenty of parking space , the interior is clean, has a hand claw game, some pottery to purchase, and cute little Lego figurines . The store employee is very nice, kind and explained the whole experience of picking out cream puffs. The cream puffs have plenty of filling. Not too sweet which is perfect because you can try more of the different options. There are so many different shell options as well as fillings and even ice cream fillings! The shells are light and soft . The fillings are creamy , the lemon filling has a distinct lemon taste, nice and fresh. My favorite is the frozen yogurt mango, little chunks of mango and frozen yogurt. Overall great experience. Such a cute little place for a midday treat.

Neat place 👌🏼. It has a row of claw machines along the front window inside the place to keep you entertained while waiting for your puffs. Speaking of puffs ... these are big and generally filled. The pastry was fresh, fluffy and flacky. The filling was very creamy and not overly sweet, so you can really taste the flavors. Got the ube and dulche leche puffs, both with vanilla fillings; also the chocolate, macha and ube fondants to try. Gonna have to come back and try the other flavors 😋 ---------‐‐----------- Update: 8-26-25 Had to get more before I go back to Texas. This time, I got the Oreo Cookie Crumble Eclair with cookies & cream filling, Hurry Eclair with vanilla filling, S'more Eclair with chocolate filling, and a Taro Custard drink. Beard Papa's does not disappoint 🙌🏻 👌🏼 👏🏻 😋 😍 everyone that works there are super helpful and friendly.

10.13.24: We had to come back after trying Beard Papa's for the first time back in September for a Yelp event. I'm all about consistency and our first time in was so great that I wanted to try it again to make sure it wasn't a hit or miss kinda place. Well let me tell you, the consistency of Beard Papa's cream puffs are definitely there and so is Mark's excellent customer service and attitude. The woman who also works there (wife maybe? I don't want to assume ) is really nice and friendly too. The store is really clean, which is an inviting plus. This time around as a dine-in treat, we ordered the Purple Oreo (Oreo custard filling w/ ube and Oreo topping), Churro w/ horchata custard filling, and Cereal filled w/ frozen mango custard. As a take home, we ordered a half dozen of the classic puffs with vanilla custard. My friend also keeps ordering this Oreo custard shake that he says is thick and delicious lasts the entire hour ride home. I love how you can make your own unique custom cream puff that would suit even the people on the pickier side. I enjoy trying the flavors of the month and they're all so different too, not too mention really flavorful. If you love tropical flavors, then the frozen mango custard is worth the try. The purple Oreo is a great catch for Halloween month. The subtlety of the ube mixed with the Oreo makes for a perfect sweet chocolatey goodness. I was surprised with the Churro horchata because I thought the horchata would be more on the plain side. I was totally wrong and the horchata had a great cinnamon and nutmeg flavor combo. We come to town about once a month and Beard Papa's is a place I look forward to stopping at every time! Fyi, they have updated fall hours.

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I went for the first time a couple days ago and we loved it! The food was super yummy and really original, the service was awesome and super quick and the atmosphere is so cute. You can get a cream puff filled with so many different flavors and play a series of claw machines. They also have Japanese drinks and lots of flavors of sodas. The man who helped us was friendly and he really seemed to love his job. Stuff is decently priced in here too.

This was easily one of the best experiences I've had eating out in a while. The employees were incredibly kind and cheerful, offering quick service and product samples. The lobby was clean and well kept, and the interior design is great. The pastries were top-notch as well with delicious fillings. If you've never given the place a try, I'd say you're missing out. We were excited to try this place. The location is cute and the decor inside was colorful. We ordered 4 different cream puffs, the flavors were very simple, each cream puff were carefully made and as we were trying each one we all felt the flavor were bland and the sweetness was just not there. Each cream puff looked delicious however, the flavor was just not there. The chocolate filling tasted like plain pudding, but I the vanilla ones were quite delicious. I hope to come back again, and hopefully the flavors of each cream puff will be more noticeable.

This is the first time visiting and ordering food. We really enjoyed the staff and they made our first time special for a 21st birthday.

Super cute set up. Love the vibe. Firstly, the barista was very friendly and answered questions thoroughly and so nice! The presentation of the drinks was lovely. The atmosphere was great. Our drinks were all cold unfortunately. We didn't say anything to have her fix them, because our table came up in the next room. It just seemed odd that the cappuccino, latte and drip were all Luke warm not hot. We would still give them another go based on awesome service and the atmosphere!

Zach was an amazing bartender!!! He was pretty busy, still got over to us timely. He was so kind but also had such a great sense of humor. Definitely give him a raise he deserve it!!

Emma Rue’s is the best decorated coffee shop around! The customer service is unbeatable, the drinks are absolutely delicious and picture-worthy and the location is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone that plans on visiting or lives nearby. Definitely one of my favorites!
