I stopped by here after a recommendation, and was impressed by the focaccia. It was the best I’ve ever tasted, fresh and hot out of the oven. The perfect crunch too and not too oily. I got the one with potatoes and tomatoes on top and I wished I had gotten even more! The baker was friendly as well.

What an amazing place in a city renown for bread. If you have ever watched Pasta Grammar on YouTube, you will see that Eva thinks this is the best bread in Italy. We brought some back to our Italian neighbors in our town and they were 'in heaven'. We also bought the focaccia and absolutely loved it! Don't miss this spot. It needs to be high on the list of top fornos in Altamura.

The 4 stars are for the exceptional quality of the focacce, bruschette, stracciatella and bread. But I cannot give it 5 stars because we paid €59 euros in 2 people!!! That’s absolutely too much for some uncooked food!!!!! Still, it was delicious.
