Wow what happened?? "Sushi" King is so bad now! 💀 1. Service was slow, waited almost 30+ mins after ordering and received cold food (came in at 8pm, literally just us & 1 other family, the restaurant was empty). 2. Food was disappointing, salmon was literally paper thin & they left out the edamame in my set. Had to ask the waiter about the issue before they gave it separately. It's like they're hoping you won't complain & get off serving less for the same price. 3. The sushi belt was pathetic, super low quantity and even less focused on quality. 4. They promoted that the rice had Japanese rice vinegar added in but I couldn't taste it one bit. There's nothing authentic about it, should leave out the "sushi" in their name. 5. At least now I know why this branch doesn't have customers on a Saturday night dinner time, everything is just sad there. I don't know about other branches but this one is dying and it's probably for the best. You're better off eating at Nippon Sushi at Alam Vista nearby.

First off, the place was empty (1 or 2 customers) while other food spots nearby were busy. I should’ve known why… It’s because their food is MID. They don’t have a lot of options, most dishes were chicken and beef, not sushi. This is a sushi place, where is the fish? Secondly, when I ordered salmon, it’s as thin as a piece of paper. Very misleading and scammy. Also, their “green tea” tasted literally like plain water. Highly disappointed, felt sick afterwards too. Terrible place, stay away.

Came at 7pm and no sushi on the belt. Apparently the staff told us if it’s night time they don’t add sushi anymore. We have to order and wait for the sushi. Waiting time is too long. Too long, until my friend played 3 rounds of monopoly deal yet we still didn’t get our food. I ordered spicy yakiniku don but I received l yakiniku don (no sambal on top). My food is cold. The beef is so little compared to what I ate before from another branch. I am disappointed with this branch.

I were here for buffet lunch promo on 25/11, surprisingly not many customer that day. All the salmon base sushi not fresh, can see it start greenish. Tips jangan pergi ke sushi yang tak berapa ada orang sebab stock tak jalan. I had food poisoning for 2 days after dine there.

Fast allocation of seat upon entrance, the sushi wait however quite slow. The salmon skin I ordered did not even arrive.I was disappointed because of that. But overall, the vibe for chat and enjoying your sushi is there.

Friendly and enjoying environment. Cozy place to eat sushi leisurely. Recommended. 1145am I came for their beef promotion as for the beef kare it was worth the price tender & juicy as I loved. Matcha creme brule was top notch same goes to the rest of the dessert I enjoyed. A plus for service.

Very bad service , start from order food till to pay at the counter

Do not come here during peak lunch hour. You will wait for almost 1 hour and most of your order not fulfilled. I ordered more than 5 sushi that aren't on the belt and waited for more than 45 minutes. Gave up then. Didn't get a single ebi, only the generi kaarage and egg sushi, which I felt was too expensive and with an experience I wish didn't occur

SO BAD. I never been this mad before but i ordered one sushi salmon je pun bc its not on the belt and it took MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR to get???? Nak bayar pun sorang kena tunggu 5 mins?? Just print the damn bill and let people tap their card for god sake. Service slow. Staff slow. Sushi pun tak sedap. Worse experience ever.

This is the worse experiences I had during Sushi King Bonanza on 23/9/2025 (Tuesday)! Cashier wrongly key in price for the plates and charged us more! Thank god I check the receipts because clearly I got scammed! The cashier also scanned our QR but the points for the redeem did not appear in my apps! I show my receipt picture as well as evidence of this scam!

Too slow. Came here for a late lunch, only 5 tables with customers. Conveyer belt was mostly empty. Understandable because non peak hour. So we ordered off the tab Took the staff no less than 15 minutes just to serve the already prepared green tea Food came at least 20 minutes after ordering This isn't the first time I experienced slow service at this branch. But it will be the last. Management needs to take action

Waited for more than 30 min for just 2 food items. They are not even full and busy like other outlets. Had to cancel the order because not able to keep waiting. They don’t even apologise. Everything about this place sucks! Robots have more feelings than those working here!!

Restaurant opened at 10am and we were told they were still preparing. Understandable as it was just 10am. Whilst waiting many customers came and left. One and half hour later, we were allowed in. Service was poor not only because the drink arrived late but the order we placed was told cancelled an hour later as the chef wasn't around. One of the customer too told us when we were about to walk out that the staff were rude and yes they were.

I recently dined at sushi king and had an amazing experience. The cozy yet modern atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The menu offered a good variety, and every dish we tried was delicious 😋 and well-presented, from the tasty appetizers to the perfectly cooked main courses. Dessert was a highlight, providing a perfect ending to our meal. Overall, sushi king exceeded my expectations with its excellent food, great service, and lovely setting. Highly recommended!🤩

Asked waiter to add a honey on my hot honey lemon tea because it was no honey and it taste bitter. Waiter told me they prepared the tea as per procedure and refuse to add as my request. Sweet and bitter is 2 obvious taste. So frustrated with the attitude and services

The best time to dine in is on the early morning if you want to avoid crowds. I went in around 1100AM probably the 1st customer. Actually this is my 1st experience eating Sushi King. Very close to the food that you can get in Japan in taste wise. Missed japanese food so much. So I decided to go to Sushi King. Not bad.

I'm pregnant and I remember wanting to eat the sushi buffet today, the last time I wanted to try it, but it was very disappointing that the staff told me that it was fully booked and I had to make a reservation first. But when I came many tables were empty and the staff were busy packing to close the shop at 9pm. Very disappointing.

Sushi Ming Setia City Mall, Setia Alam has a variety of Japanese dishies & cuisines. The service is good, Clean & Hygienic Most of the variety of Sushi related dishes are served on small sauces with clear plastic cover for hygiene transported kn conveyer from the prep kitchen to the customers. Special menu orders are sent on a small robot travel on dedicated tracks from the prep kitchen to the customers. They have frkm time to time promo Bonanza week with cheap price where you can enjoy as much sushi and other menus available til you are really stuffed up 😅🤪

This isn’t my first time ordering from Sushi Zanmai and I’ve always loved their quality. The lobster sushi salad was great, but unfortunately, it arrived with the sauce spilled all over the box. The packaging seemed a bit too loose for a dish like that. I hope the team can consider using more secure containers or smaller packaging that prevents movement. A quick reminder to the delivery partner to place it upright would also make a big difference. Looking forward to better packaging next time!

Amazing service, I had an issue with my Super Alliance points from my previous visit, I was then offered free appetizer and drinks as compensation 🌸 our server is very attentive and quick into action. Thank you so much 💖

Portions are ridiculously small compared to last time and prices have been hiked up considerably. Quality of food has definitely dropped. Ordered this spicy tempura roll thing and although the taste was not bad, the sushi rice felt so mushy and the texture of the whole thing was just soft and mush. Udon portion is quite small with limited veggies and the tempura has the portion size of an infant rabbit. My tempura lady finger was smaller than my pinky finger. At least it was crispy I guess.. The taste of the udon is standard, nothing special, I doubt they were trying very hard anyways. The drinks are ridiculously expensive, charging RM 10+ for ice chocolate with heavy emphasis on the ice 😒. Also tried a bit of the spicy seafood ramen. The texture of the ramen was pretty decent but it had that yellow mee aftertaste which makes your teeth gritty after you eat it, leaving a nasty feeling in your mouth. My friend had a salmon sashimi donburi and the slices of salmon were so thin. The salmon sashimi as a separate dish were fairly thick but I wouldn't say it was the freshest. Overall, quality has dropped yet price has increased ever since COVID. Disappointed but the food still tastes pretty standard if you really want Japanese food.

LATEST: Foods no longer tasty and delicious. The green tea is just like a drinking water. Quality of the foods are no longer good. Overall the environment is clean and cosy especially the seats are very comfortable. The SOP is up to the standard. The queue is not long and fast to be seated. The service is fast and very good. The menu is quite variety. The foods here are definitely very good and delicious. The portion also is reasonable and there are promotions item to be selected every day which is very worthy. The pricing is definitely very friendly and reasonable. Definitely recommended and will visit again!

Went as a party of 6, it wasn’t too busy that night. The order process is easy, love it! Except it would be better if they can show which dish has been served and which dish hasn’t, that would even better. Food and service are overall great, except a few dishes not up to our liking, like the shishamo are quite skinny and small, the garnish on top of takoyaki was great but there wasn’t much octopus in the fillings. Also the special promotion of the salmon ramen was just average, not so special. Overall good experience and would recommend it to others.

First time here for dinner with kids Things I like: 1) ample if space. Can choose to sit inside the restaurant or outside. Suitable to come with young kids 2) cosy ambience 3) a lot of varieties in the menu. Lunch sets seems quite value-for-money 4) taste of the food is fine though nothing much to shout about. Can see that the chef put much focus on the detail of food preparation . 5) free flow of ginger, if you like it 6) staff are very professional and friendly. Overall, this restaurant is not really different from other Japanese restaurants in setia city mall.

Made reservation for 12pax at 12pm with my colleagues, they have suitable private space for us which is nice, tho the a/c wasn't cold enough. Food was good, sushi with thick slices of fish and fresh too. Their tempura was good too. I loovveee the sesame ice cream 😋🫶 their service also good, fast fast food come to you 🤣 we arrived at 12pm choosing menu here and there, at 1pm everyone already finished eating. Japanese food in the mall. Quality as expected. This shop took over the old Sushi Tei and have a new look. Shop is a lot brighter then in the past. Food wise, standard selection of usual stuff available. Not as many options on the conveyer belt but can be ordered ala carte which might be better as the food will be prepped fresh.

Reservation process & choosing menu via WA was easy/smooth. In food matter, I can taste a different in your cooking this time. Your Noodle Salmon Curry Head and Teppanyaki Beef were tasteless. No harmonies combination. Something is missing but I couldn't figure it out. I ordered 3plates of Chuka Idako. 1 plate has a bad octopus. Kepala octopus tu hanyir, but the tentacle was ok. I noticed a lot of new faces in your team. This new team does not represent a lively custom, like the previous team. This team is very soft in their irasshaimase! Come on wake up Nippon Sushi!

Nippon Sushi has been my go to sushi place every month, but lately the quality at Nippon Sushi Vista Alam has dropped. The food tastes inconsistent, and the most important issue for me is cleanliness. During my recent visit, there was a cockroaches roaming around while we were eating, I even managed to catch one! That was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for a restaurant. On top of that, my salmon sashimi had bones in it, which shows a lack of proper preparation. I really hope management takes these issues seriously and improves, because I genuinely love eating sushi here and would like to keep coming back.

I came here after seeing the hype around their limited time Inari Bomb menu and thought it was worth a try. The place looked nice and the staff were friendly, but the experience went downhill quickly. There were a lot of flies, especially near the couple tables, which really affected the comfort. The conveyor belt had very limited choices, with the same dishes going around. I had no choice but to order through the QR code, but the service was very slow from start to finish. Food taste and presentation were decent, and the portion was just right. But the long wait for food, plus getting salty soy sauce even after asking for sweet, and having to wait again just to get the bill made the whole visit feel frustrating. Price was fairly affordable, but with the hygiene issues and slow service, I don’t think I’d return unless things improve.

We are satisfied with the food and staff service as it was efficient. However, we noticed the kaiten zushi was half empty with the same type of sushi even though it’s only 8.20pm and the restaurant was full house. The watermelon juice was filled with ice rather than the juice itself. We were also disturbed by a few fly house lingering our food and found a small cockroach at the sink area. There’s also a lipstick stain on the cup. The restaurant was a bit warm(maybe they slow down the aircond temperature) which makes us a bit uncomfortable to have dinner with small children since it was packed with people. Parking was difficult to find and expensive. Overall the food was good to eat and the staff were friendly. Hope they improve for the better in future.

Good food with reasonable price & has halal jakim. Came here many times. Once my daughter left her hp, the staff keep the phone safely. 4 stars because need to wait to be seated during peak hour. Also parking at vista alam quite difficult sometimes.

I ordered Unagi Tama Don, the egg doesn't look good but the taste is ok. HOWEVER, the rice is so dry and the texture is hard. I told the stuff and they come back with an even MORE DISGUSTING rice, turns out, they only went to steam or microwave or whatever to my food! They did not tell me what they are going to do to my food before taking it, if I knew they were going to reheat the food, I rather not let them do it. Really disappointed me on Mother's day...

The worst system ever to secure your dine in and place your order for iftar! No reservation, only walk in allowed frm 5.45pm and at least 1 person hv to stay at your sit waiting. What we found after long queue and once seated? We cant placed order via the system due to connection problem 😖. I hv requested to place order manually but the waiter asked me to wait until the system back online. Now (6.42pm) they are struggling taking orders manually frm the full house after i asked them many times to distribute the menu. Pls train your staf to do eye contact with your customer, pls respond with good manner and in helping way (the only female staff at the counter mentioned they only got 3 menus then we hv to wait for it and thats it! Wait wait n wait.. after a while the male staff distributed the menu booklet to all tables.. owhh we thought there are only 3 of them 😒 Pls prepare for the worst situation to serve your customer accordingly otherwise shutting down the outlet is a compulsory option. We wont miss you!

Your customer service sucks, zero attitude. My ramen tasteless seems like just pour hot water then mix with ramen. Even though got less customer but still have to wait for 30mins even for cola float. We didn't even finish our meals. Ur waiter (malay girl) so rude. The guy waiter so nice.

It wasn't a busy day so the staffs handled the customers fine. But I was not really satisfied with my meal. I think it's because I've learned how to cook my own miso soup, I was underwhelmed by how mellow this one tasted. same with the egg custard, the taste of dashi is rather subtle. The salmon laid on top of some random sad looking veggies. I think it's an okay place overall,since I've tasted better somewhere else,this place was a bit of a let down. Anyways,thank you staffs for your service and hard work👍🏻

3 waitress keep ignoring us and keep talking at the corner. Ordered sashimi but when we ask for wasabi, the waitress just replied from far if there wasabi on conveyor belt than there is; if you doesn’t see one on conveyor belt means no more. 😥 Plus, sashimi doesn’t taste fresh.. We also found scour pad fibers and plastic in udon. Talked to the waitress, they just took the fibers away. We talked to the manager again on that issue. Luckily the manager Nurul Balqis is very attentive and helpful, said sorry to us and ask if we need a replacement or cancel. 3 waitress keep talking at the corner, only the manager dashing here and there attend to customer.

The food tastes diluted Stingy with water please do not come here.. other branch is 1000% much better.. so disappointed Lowkey, one of them just ghosted us by slapping the QR code on the table without a peep. Service can be improved. Food preparation quite slow and they refuse to give straw unless u order certain type of drink. Food quality (both meat and rice) is substandard. The sides that come w set are awful, so just forgo the set option. Cleanliness is another issue. The forks/spoons on table are almost always not cleaned properly. You can see stains and food remains all over. Very off-putting. Even the tables not wiped clean and bowls they serve customers are cracked. I only dine here because not easy to find alternative for gyudon

Ban this place! I would give zero star if I could. The served us uncooked ramen. When we complained, they sent back the wrong type of ramen. Bowls are peeling and not suitable to be used anymore. No manager nor supervisor at store. Staff are not behaving (just fooling around), not showing any respect for customers, not being responsible, pushing blame among each other. Food is bad, service is worse. Why would anyone even want to come back here?

The food here was delicious. Up to par to other Sukiya outlet that we had tried. The portion of the fish however was too small, not matched with the usual size serving. Hopefully they could give a bigger size fish next time. The waiting was not that long though and the staffs were helpful

I’ve read the bad reviews but decided to finally give it a try. I like the other branches- 163 and Paradigm Mall but this one is the worst. The onions tasted as if they were rotten and so was the green pickled chili that comes with the meal. The matcha was not bad and the staffs were friendly. Pls do check your ingredients to make sure they are fresh.

teringin nak makan japanese curry so i went here and….. disappointed. rasa kari mamak je wey 😭😭😭😭 hmmm the ramen is also 1/5 to be honest. order these things only but it takes quite some time to prepare. customers can make order through the qr code and it leads you to the menu and ordering website. pay at the counter only. spacious, provides cutlery, have sink and hand soap, very comfortable to eat here.

This outlet is on the top floor or Central iCity mall. Food quality is ok. But it's surprisingly slow, as it wasn't crowded. It took a long while to prepare just kappa maki. Overall cleanliness is good. Please keep it up. Staffs are generally friendly.

Everyone has something they love. Kids went for Cold Soba. Adults went for Don and raw food. Wide selection similar to other Japanese restaurants. Food standard is there except for the tuna belly we ordered. Probably not the best cut. But otherwise all the other food were good. Love all the cooked stuff.

The food is very typical like the rest of others Japanese food chain. Nothing really stands out but the food was good! The only complaint was the time the food was served. It was a bit too long. And the food that we ordered through the QR code, the popular ones were out of stock but were not indicated in their ordering portal. Staff has to inform us personally. However, one of the staff, named Tika (i hope i spell the name right), absolutely fantastic! She actually offered us complimentary food when our food wasn't served on time or out of stock. She was very friendly and polite. Kudos to the customer service! Overall, recommended!

Yesteday dine in.Fresh made & cook dish unagi don...still hot when arrive on my table.... Salad & shasimi was so fresh.. quite place to enjoy ur meal peacefully...love the food services at this branch.. 👍👍

The food was great. Very fresh and well prepared like any other Sushi Zanmai. This was my first time and I can safely recommend to come. Our favourite is the sashimi salmon and yellow tail. Freshly cut and melts in your mouth. The sukiyaki was also great. Kids love it.
