The store is known for its fabulous focaccia and other baked treats that should not be missed. Customers praise the exceptional quality of the products, particularly the bread with sourdough, take-away dishes, and various items like croissants and quiches.
Different kinds of bakery products from croissants, quiche type items, busy most importantly the focaccia, which is to die for. The olive oil they use is delicious. Best part is the service is so warm and friendly, even though my Italian was not very good the women behind the counter made me feel so welcome!

Wonderful pizza and focaccia - great service too. No refined carbs and they use only organic olive oil. You can find vegan options as well

Pastry Cafe Dolci Magie in La Spezia is a lovely dessert shop located in the central area. It offers a wide variety of desserts and cakes, along with a selection of nice tea and coffee. The cafe is known for its afternoon tea package, which includes 5 mini pastries and a drink at a reasonable price. Visitors praise the freshness and uniqueness of the pastries, cakes, and other products offered here.
A sleek, modern pasticceria that immediately impresses with its stunning pastry mignon display-rows of vibrant, artful bites that pull you in at the door. I tried the Rum Baba, Tiramisu, Strawberry Cheesecake, and a breathtaking Panna Cotta with Raspberry Confit-I could've eaten a dozen of that one alone. The Zeppole di San Giuseppe was phenomenal: crisp shell, rich cream, and just the right touch of sweetness. Every detail here feels intentional and refined. An essential stop for pastry lovers in La Spezia.

A very special and nice discovery during our foodie stay in Spezia. Good coffee, and great baci di dama, small delicious italian tarts : tortina della nonna. The street foodies would definitely go back there !!
The F — Google review
Pastry Cafe Dolci Magie in La Spezia was a delightful discovery, made even sweeter thanks to the lovely apartment we were staying at, which gifted us vouchers for croissants 🥐 and coffee, or orange juice. What a brilliant way to start the day! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, the display cabinets were filled with exquisite pastries, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee was simply irresistible. Our croissants were buttery, golden, and perfectly flaky—hands down some of the best we’ve had in Italy. Paired with a smooth, creamy cappuccino, it was the kind of breakfast that makes you stop and savour every bite. We couldn’t resist trying more from their selection, and we’re so glad we did—the tiramisu was luscious and well-balanced, and their delicate pastry horns (cannoncini) were filled with silky custard and just the right amount of sweetness. What made the experience truly special was the warm, genuine service. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re sitting inside or enjoying the outdoor tables with a view of the charming La Spezia street life, there’s a relaxed, joyful vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Thanks to our apartment’s thoughtful gesture, we got to experience a local treasure—and we would return in a heartbeat. Dolci Magie is not just a café; it’s a little moment of magic.
Richard T — Google review
Great croissants (we tried pistachio, crema, nutella) and good coffee. Friendly service. Yet strange 20% extra charge to eat by the table, added on top of the bill.
Pawel K — Google review
Pastry Café Dolci Magie is a hidden gem in La Spezia! The Nutella and jelly-filled croissants were soft, flaky, and bursting with flavor, while the lemon meringue pastry was perfectly sweet and tangy. I didn’t get photos—I was on the go—but the treats were so good, I still can’t stop thinking about them! Mouth watering and delightful pastries.
Fred S — Google review
Tons of pastry to enjoy with a cup of cappuccino. I tried the cornetto with jam and it was amazing. Its a great way to start the day.

I tried the croissant a la nocciola and it was amaaaazing. Crunchy, tasty and buttery. They have other flavors as well. The espresso was good but for my taste could be better.

Pasticceria Fiorini is a charming spot with a pleasant ambiance and attentive service. While there's no wifi, the delightful coffee and pastries more than make up for it. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and their apple pie and pistachio treats are simply irresistible. It's the perfect place to kick off your day with a delectable pastry and cappuccino. Indulge in their array of traditional sweets and biscuits for an authentic culinary experience.
Have been traveling in Europe for a couple of days to promote my custom made titanium bicycles. Like many cyclist, we like to have a good coffee and a small pastry to kick start the morning. This Pasticceria was conveniently located near my hotel, stopping before heading to the mountains or Cinque Terra would not be disappointing. Caffe was very good, and the pastries were delicious, plus the customer service is exactly what I would expect in an authentic Italian pasticceria. Fast, professional and friendly. Thank you! We order a cup of coffee cappuccino (it is awful, more milk than coffee) and an orange juice witch was small quantity in a normal glass (cost 3.5 euro) that's shameful and the service was bad 👎 don't recommend see the glas of orange juice in the photo

Most staff were fine but there is a tall lady behind the counter who is extremely rude, shouted to 'pay now' before we had even finished ordering and scowled when asked where the toilets were. Would not recommend.

Excellent pastry shop. The gentleman helping us was very accommodating. We we're looking for a cake for my daughter's birthday and he took time to explain ingredients and put up with my less-than-fluent Italian. Also gave me a macchiato on the house.

Definitely worthy to come and eat place!! The best farinata ever, so juicy tasty, almost like scrambled eggs. No addition needed as it was so good! Amazing focaccia, super crispy outside and soft inside. Wide range of flavours, you can even ask for your filling. I created mine: pesto, ham and stracchino cheese (delicious!). The owner and other staff is super nice. I will come back here again for sure. Very fair price (4-5 euro for focaccia, 3 for plain farinata) for good quality, taste and portion size

This establishment near the railway station is highly recommended for those seeking top-notch focaccia, Italian bread, and pizza. I came here on a rainy day and ordered three foccacia with my terrible Italian skills . The ladies behind the counter were so helpful, friendly and taught me how to pronounce each one, and spoke some English to help me along the way. The food was beautiful, so perfectly cooked and delicious. Priced very well too, 8 euros for 3 foccacia and some sweet breads. Such a warm and welcoming environment.

The best classical Foccacia we have ever tried❤️ Everyone behind the counter was amazing, and Andrea was so helpful and helped us choose the things to try. We enjoyed everything we tried and will definitely come back the next time we come to La Spezia.

We've been here during our vacation in La Spezia and had the opportunity to taste both salty and sweet products All great, some very unusual ( as an example focaccia with mussels and focaccia with pine nuts and walnuts) Done with love, you can feel it, and the lady at the desk is super kind. Also very reasonably priced. Don't miss this place.
Agatino P — Google review
One of the best bakeries we visited on our entire Italy trip. Everything was absolutely delicious. The pine nut and raisin foccacia was one of the best things I have ever tasted. The lovely woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and suggested the chocolate chip foccacia (which tasted like chocolate chip pancakes!). This is a must stop for anyone in the La Spezia area. Super quick and easy walk from the train station as well.

(Translated by Google) Great bar at Le Terrazze shopping centre I went to this bar with my girlfriend during a day of Christmas shopping. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the "Le Terrazze" shopping center gallery not far from the Ipercoop automatic checkout exit. The room with the tables is small, there will be about fifteen seats in total, I had a spritz with a cutting board at the counter. The food offered (pizzas, stuffed focaccias and various appetizers) was good and right for one person. The cocktail was balanced and tasty. A great place for a quick break. (Translated by Google) Terrible experience to say the least. I understand now why it's called bar booh in this bar it's all approximate, good only for the very apt name. We went in to have an aperitif, reading the huge sign they displayed, "aperitifs 7 euros" one expects to have at least a decent aperitif.. but instead... ..make yourself comfortable.. We ask for a gin fiz and a caipiroska, the two girls immediately look at each other, clearly snorting and throwing glances at each other, making it clear that we were pissed off asking for two aperitifs. Then they tell us that they couldn't make the gin fiz, to which I ask why, and if they didn't have the ingredients to make it (such as gin lime and tonic) Then they tell me yes. In the meantime, we get some pizzas and various other things arranged on a round saucer that the girl practically threw from a very considerable distance without getting anywhere near the table and without saying a word. Congratulations for the throw, a little less for the aim because it was literally about to hit me in the face. In the meantime I hear that they are shaking the gin fizz, (you don't shake the gin fizz) if they had told me they didn't know how to do it I could have chosen something else... these drinks were terrible none of them resembled what I ordered, one was a glass of syrup the other a lemonade. DON'T GO THERE. grumpy, incompetent, arrogant, rude, annoying and shrewish I advise these two characters to change jobs, perhaps to work alone closed in a room, but certainly not in contact with the public. Maybe they could start practicing Frisbee throwing seeing how well they threw the plate in my face. What a shame and what a pity to offer such services. (Original) Esperienza a dir poco terribile.

The bakery Il Fornaio is known for its amiable and pleasant saleswoman who provides excellent customer service. Their sailor's bread is exceptional, with a delightful lemon flavor that's both subtle and soft. The plumcake is also noteworthy, offering a delicate lemon taste and a fluffy texture. Additionally, their lemon puff pastry and Cannoncini with chocolate are highly regarded for their deliciousness.
We stayed three nights in La Spezia and visited this magnificent place each day!! We particularly loved the ‘Apricot Pie’ (I am sure not its correct name). So good that we ended up buying two during our short stay!! Absolutely worth a visit!!

I have been buying focaccia here since my high school years and when I was passing by on my way to school. My mom used to do the same. Now every time I visit, it is a must to go back. For me it is the best focaccia in town and you can choose your favourite type: plain, with onions, with tomatoes, recco style. Furthermore one of the few places where you can find the traditional pane del marinaio: a nuts and raisin biscuit cake, perfect to dunk in milk (or wine) 😊 Personnel is super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommended from locals

Bakery Rizzoli Marcello, situated at Via Fiume, 108 in La Spezia, is a historic bakery known for its delectable focaccia. The small shop exudes an old-world charm that takes visitors back to simpler times. The triangular focaccia is a local classic and highly recommended. Visitors have praised the warm hospitality of the owners and their willingness to assist despite language barriers.
We were so lucky to stumble upon this bakery on our way to another eatery. The kindest owners welcomed us like we were family. They offered some bread to our little one and took their time to help us out. Their traditional triangular focaccia was delicious, I got a warm and a bit crispier bite and I loved it. The focaccia with local olives was also very very good. We also treated ourselves to a delicious shortbread cookie with jam! Located a couple of hundred meters away from central station, cash only (luckily there is an ATM down the street!)

Cute and cozy pizza place with delicious food, great service, and unbelievable prices!! We tried their farinata and pizza, both were lovely! It was nice to take a break from neapolitan pizza and try something different. If you are in the area, definitely give this a try! Especially if you are back from Cinque Terre and super hungry!

Thick pie pizza, it was nice and price was very good but it lacked sth extra... I felt like most of the menu is pie with cheese. I missed more veggies. Very nice staff and good atmosphere, what I didn't like was smokers who sat all over me. We paid 20€ for this

This is a wonderful place to eat! We suggest the farinata with margherita and the Nutella focaccia for the dessert! People here are so kind and price is really small compared to the high quality!

Street style sliced pizza, a large variety of focaccia with sausage, veggie pies and two local delicacies, chickpeas pie (farinata) and chestnut and raisin pie (castagnaccio) plus but not always available focaccia with chocolate spread (Nutella). I was a tourist in 5 Terre staying on Corso Cavour in La Spezia. While walking up and down Corso Cavour noticed Stampetta as it is quite a big pastry shop and went in to try! Not impressed at all! The stuff in the front, where they sell cannolis and small pastries had no crunch, I am guessing because it was not freshly made. On top of that, even the slice of Genoese that she said was special, and locally famous, was absolutely hard. Price was not high, but by weight items tend to stack up more, and you will be surprised in the end.

(Translated by Google) After several tests of this pastry shop I find myself absolutely not recommending it. Everything for sale is kept at freezing temperatures!! This makes any pasta immediately inedible. The reason is unknown to me, but the most likely thing is that in this way the pasta lasts longer and they can sell them less fresh. Obviously in other spice pastries the serving temperature is always acceptable and the pastries should not be heated for 4 hours before consuming them. As for the focaccia, the lady always recommends eating it hot... and thanks to the c… NOT RECOMMENDED!! SCONSIGLIATO!!

(Translated by Google) Friendliness of the staff.... Let's forget about it. The classic Ligurian stereotype, who greets you with difficulty, after you have spent your money in their place, even thanking them. Nice pastries with a visual impact and nothing more. Very little flavor and heavy at the same time!? Little attention is paid to what they put on display. I bought 5 pastas, 3 empty inside, when they had to be filled and burned underneath (clearly I had to throw them away, also because the charred stuff, in addition to being bitter is carcinogenic) and the other 2 inedible as I was saying, devoid of flavor and one bricked at the same time. There may be some flies entering the room, but if they are walking around inside the pasta counter, perhaps it is best to keep it closed and open only when picking up the products. Do I recommend it?? No, I would say not at all. This was my experience 🤷🏻‍♂️ (Original) Cordialità del personale.... Lasciamo perdere. Paste carine all'impatto visivo e nulla più. Pochissimo sapore e pesanti allo stesso tempo!? (Translated by Google) We went to this place for breakfast having 2 cappuccinos, a piece of tart and a croissant. Furthermore, to take away, we bought 3 sandwiches stuffed with bresaola, rocket and stracchino. All for the beauty of €24.00. The bill is almost exaggerated.

(Translated by Google) Ordered dark chocolate egg with chopped pistachios and personalized surprise. Never never ever eaten such good chocolate. I thought I ate some good dark chocolate but the egg I ordered is truly beyond any statistic. At this point the tasting of the other proposals begins. Compliments. I forgot...right price for the purchase ☺️ (which never hurts)😉 (Original) Ordinato uovo al cioccolato fondente con granella di pistacchio e sorpresa personalizzata. (Translated by Google) I think it's the best in La Spezia, if it were in the center there wouldn't be any for anyone! Here in the center I see queues of customers in pastry shops that don't deserve it at all. This pastry shop is definitely worth it. Pastries stuffed to perfection. Delicious cakes. They accommodated me for a particular request for my son's birthday cake and the result was fantastic. However, creativity aside, you can feel the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Owners and collaborators are very kind, helpful and also friendly which is an added and not obvious value. The breakfasts are also excellent. Paste farcite a regola d’arte. Torte squisite .

The area above the train station is away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Right in the middle you will find this family-run pastry pearl! The operator was super friendly and patient and the taste of the sweet particles (which are also very cheap) was simply great! Grazie mille!
