Seven star service and food. It’s been a while as I don’t live here anymore, but the food again magnificent, the gluten free pizza again magnificent. The service is perfect, thanks Anastasia and team who all checked regularly that all was perfect, and it was.

Absolutely love this place, food is amazing, it’s a must if you are at Altona beach. One of my favourites. Must try the pumpkin gnocchi.

I would recommend against this place. For context, I was doing two uber eats deliveries. Upon arrival they were fine and gave both ordered. I confirmed they were accurate with them and then left. Once leaving and delivering the first order they called and advised if I could come back as they made an error with the second order. I explained I couldn’t - not just because I wouldn’t get paid but I was already delivering the first one. They asked if I could provide the address of the customer of the second order and I waited on the phone with them to complete the first delivery so I could get the address of the second delivery. I gave them the address, name and contact number and they advised they would send their own driver to deliver the missing item. All was fine and now I check and they gave me a negative rating. I think this is super unfair given I did my job and helped them fix their error. Negative ratings on the platform impact your ability to get jobs and make a living. It was unnecessary and quite mean.

I visited this restaurant last night. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The food was average, but the real problem is the management. While I was there, I saw how poorly they treated other customers — you could see how uncomfortable and upset people were. Instead of taking feedback seriously, the owner responds to reviews with sarcasm and arrogance. After reading through other negative reviews, it’s clear this kind of behaviour is common here. If you value decent service and respect as a customer, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. There are far better pizza places that actually appreciate their customers. Stella Pizza next door is amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best pizza and pasta place in the West! Been going here since 1991 and now with ny young adult children. Love it! Great fresh food. Great atmosphere.. our favourite place to go for a walk along the beach and pier and then to Numero Uno!

Despicable service. The manager was a young boy unwilling to fix the error of a wrong pizza. Unwilling to give names when asking for them. Nothing was done to help or to make the situation better. No applogy extremely rude service. Will never go back and never recommend to anyone. I’ve never had a bad experience like this in the service industry.

I called the restaurant the day before Father's Day to request a table for three and to be seated downstairs because I have elderly parents. This would be reserved, they confirmed. When we arrived, we were instructed to sit against a windowed bench with all three of us facing the outside. This prevented us from speaking to one another because we had to turn our heads to the left or right to look at one another. Since we've been there before. The inability to provide proper service was disgusting.We had no choose but to leave could not book another restaurant as it was Fathers Day

One of the best Cheeseburgers I've ever had, chips were nice and crispy with a handy and delicious selection of dipping sauces.

Great little spot with lovely staff. I was blown away by how good the burger was, honestly was not expecting the bun to be that soft. Will be back again, and soon!

Ordered food from here today and it was absolutely delightful! I definitely recommend the classic, and their shakes are absolutely delicious. I was unsure on what to get at first but I had heaps of help with a worker called Teela. She gave me great recommendations and overall was an exquisite worker!

Really friendly customer service, good selection of burgers and generous portion of chips. Really stingy with the meat in the classic beef burger, it was literally half the size of the bread (it stops halfway under the tomato in my pic) but the chicken burger was nice (be sure to add cheese)! Don't know if we would make the drive to come back as we live 15mins away but it's good for a local burger joint I'd give it 3.5 - 4.

Quality of the food is great. Expect to spend a few dollars more than your local maccas. Staffs were friendly. Burgers were great, chips were okay. The meat in the dirty fries didn't go with the fries and were too soggy to our liking.

Came here with my brother for a quick late-night bite to eat. We got the chicken pad see ew and chicken satay with a side of coconut rice. Both meals were fresh, light, and tasty. Service was quick and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend! P.S. If you plan on coming, bring some cash for a discount :))

Food: pretty good, tasty, cooked well and comes out quickly. Portions could be a bit bigger though. Service/Venue: staff are attentive and always around for any questions etc. they don’t make you wait too long to take your order Venue is small, but cute. No complaints. Heaps of parking around also. Would recommend checking this place out :) good

Best Thai food outside of Thailand! We're so happy we found this place nearby on Sydney Road. Tom yum fried rice was fresh, tasty, full of flavour and not too oily. Perfect amount of spicy chilli 🌶️💚

Friendly host. Stir fry had good flavour but was excessively oily, certainly compared to most other Thai places I’ve frequented. Just pools of oil at the bottom of the plate and coating every bit of food. I understand that it’s easier to stir-fry with an abundance of oil but the skill of a chef is not overusing it.

Food delivered via Uber eats. Awful, unimaginative, zero spice, dry…come on people! I’d get a refund but I just want to move on with my life and forget about this horrible demonstration of how to annihilate a normally beautiful genre of food. Disgraceful

Really authentic food and a great atmosphere. Bustling and postive staff who went the extra mile to make sure they got everything right. House wine was reasonably priced and excellent. Food wasn't under-portioned at all. It arrived really fast and was a good hearty size, leaving us full without the need for an entree. Thai milk tea was fresh and cold. Perfect experience here.

What a great meal! The new owners, Rob and Shelley, are so hospitable and they clearly have a passion for food and customer service. Rob is adamant about providing only the best cut of beef in his dishes, even the soy sauce is top notch, no cutting corners when it comes to his dishes. Food tastes fresh and delicious, the venue is sparkling clean and the passion these new lovely business owners have to offer the best quality is refreshing to see. Williamstown is lucky to have them take over from the old owner, who let the place go. Do yourself a favour and try the new Wok Rite In Noodle & Snack Bar. (Rob and Shelley are still setting the place up with their own personal touches… in terms of atmosphere, their hospitality is second to none).

Where do I start? Service was amazing, I'm somewhat new to the area only lived out this way for a year now, the owners said they only recently took over the business and I gotta say it feels like they've been there for years. Food was some of the best I've had in relation to stir-fry, this is coming from someone who is in and out of just about every state always eating Chinese no matter where I am. It's affordable for a family of 5, they're super fast, and most of all just lovely people, very friendly, we had a joke and they even offered us some free samples of chicken, and even asked us what flavour we wanted 🤣. I can tell these guys are gonna be here awhile, amazing. P.S wish I had photos as the food was crazy good.

The food is delicious, lots of things to chose from. The owner also gave us samples of honey garlic chicken which tasted way too good. The owners are very also welcoming and care about their service. Would definitely recommend 👌🏽

The dim sims were unreal, best in the west. As-well as the BEST special fried rice I've had. Unreal joint, highlights all round, quiet shop, which deserves more recognition for their high quality food they make and the effort they put in.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had! Ordered Uber eats from The Couta fish shop. Horrible. I ordered one flake, I questioned the fact there was no battered option for the fish, only crumbed. I gave it a go and it was a literal flake frisbee. Overcooked and hard, didn’t seem fresh either. I also got the chips, cheese and gravy. The chips were also horrible, no gravy, it was inedible and given to the dog. I also got fried mars bars in batter and a pineapple in batter. Correct me if I’m wrong but cinnamon sugar is just rule of thumb with these deserts. There was literally no cinnamon sugar or any sweet coating on the exterior of the batter what so ever. There wasn’t an option to get it added, I ate it anyway as I was starving and everything else was inedible. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 but it was literally a marsbar covered in plain batter, disgusting. The meal was still hot on arrival and Uber driver was prompt with delivery so it wasn’t their fault for once.

This was the worst fish and chips we had ever tried and I mean tried only because we we’re starving The batter on the flake and scallops was so thick like concrete the calamari was like rubber you could have put it on your shoe and ran in the Brisbane Olympics the prawn cutlets it took a month to find the prawn then you would end up in a mushy wet spot don’t even mention the crab stick like javelins I took them back the owner said it was nearly all eaten I had to rescue it from the bin he had the nerve to make me take it back after I pulled it out of the bin and his batter is thin while sticking his finger in the batter he reckons that it was cooked properly we still feel sick wish we had have stopped in Ballarat for our usual fish and chips disgusting Couta fish buyer beware might be safer to go without please give me a like if you found the same deal see the photo it says it all

This was our 'go to' fish n chip shop when we lived in Sanctuary Lakes years ago. We just happened to be in the area tonight, not realising they had changed owners. The new owners were so friendly and lovely, but sadly their food let them down. Everything was soooo dry. Nothing tasted fresh. We threw most of it out. Really sad to see, what was once an amazing fish shop, go down hill. Really sorry to leave a negative review guys, but if customers are not honest then you do not get the opportunity to improve. I hope you don't take offence, instead look at ways to improve the quality of the food. Would hate to see you guys fail at your new venture !

Worst fish and chips ever! We ordered a lunch pack and the flake didn’t even resemble fish, and was long and thin like an eel, and the batter on both the flake and potato cake was practically doughy and raw. Never again, and thank goodness we only spent $16. Do NOT recommend.

One of the best Fish & Chips shops ever!!! They have big servings of chips. The fish and other seafood are always delicious. The family who runs the shop are friendly, hard working and performs as a team. I've been a buying from The Couta since 2016. I still return there every so often to get my fish & chips even if I live in a different suburb now.

Ordered lunch for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The chips were classic old-school fish and chips style (delicious!) with just the right amount of batter on the fish. The grilled calamari was fresh, and everything stayed crispy even after the drive home. The fish burger was super tasty and generous! I was especially impressed by the attention to detail in packing the food to avoid sogginess—the packaging made the whole experience feel just that little bit fancy 😁. The place was spotless, and the seafood on display was a nice touch! Customer service was 10/10!! Thanks, we will definitely be back!!

Ordered flakes and barramundi few times. The batter is just nice, it’s well coated but not thick. The fish remains crispy after over 30 minutes sitting in the car. Service was friendly and didn’t have to wait for long. Prices has gone up due to inflation, but still reasonably priced. Would recommend this if you’re nearby the beach.

This was really great - we called ahead to order, they got everything right on a slightly complex order, great social distancing preparation + sanitary preparation, and it was SO delicious. (Medium chips was way too big for two people, it turned out, but honestly v good value for money). If we lived closer, this would definitely become our new regular - and any time I'm heading to the beach I'll go back there! The butterfish was tender and the crumb was so delicious, and the calamari wasn't even a tiny bit rubbery. I really enjoyed our meal. Thank you!

I e been here a couple of times now. Small Pizza deal with a can drink at $11.50 is perfect for my mini dates I have with hubby. Order Pizza, drive to Altona Beach and eat our delicious Pizza’s. Guaranteed delicious, fresh and hot. Menu has something for everyone, and yes, that’s for all the gluten and vegetarian eaters 😊❤️. Pop in when you have a minute. You won’t be disappointed.

So we ordered 3 pizzas, garlic bread, 2 chocolate mousse and 2 drinks The Aussie and margaritas was fine The jumbalya had cause me to have an allergic reaction. Assuming from cross contamination as I’ve been getting that pizza for years The two mousse had a clear film over the top which “it’s just separation as they were made fresh” the fact they made the comment before we even noticed was a red flag Which clearly was untrue, it was bitter and sour and lumpy so expired! Didn’t even bother going back because they were closed so just threw them out but super disappointed

I only eat one pizza a month I've only eaten one pizza in the last 2 and a half years The catastrophe, I do make one minor adjustment to it I add artichokes. If your a foodie, appreciate a pizza with zest and zing, never too oily, in fact always perfect, this is a must try. 😋

Foods ok, not amazing. They don’t honour the rewards program. I was grilled about who had signed my cards (they were from over a year ago as I was away longer than that), and basically treated like I was trying to scam. He eventually said he’d use them but then decided the kitchen wasn’t busy enough to bother cooking for me. I’d been there a week ago, never will I return. Left the worthless reward cards on the table as I left.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with any takeaway delivery. Lied to everytime we called ‘it’s going out the door now’ every time. Waited an hour and a half for our sub par food. Hope this establishment fails so no one else has to deal with the disgraceful attitude they have towards thier customers. Will recommend to everyone I know to go elsewhere.

This place is a great local spot for pizza and pasta. Will satisfy any pasta and pizza cravings. Pizza dough has a nice crunch and has a generous amount of toppings. Pastas are quite nice too, the pasta is not overcooked and has good bite. The hospitality here is probably their standout, every time I have eaten here the guys have been very friendly and accommodating.

The Bladin Street Fish & Chip Shop sells the best and freshest flake I have ever tasted. Their flake is thick and succulent and the batter is thin, light and crispy, similar to a Japanese tempura batter. It's absolutely Delicious! I highly recommend the flake. Very Yummy! 😉👍

They accept support companion dog even when terrified with smile and when they come outside they'd never asked me to leave and still cook for my dog one special piece of fish almost got me to never come back when I knew they were scared of my dog however both ladies never said no and always always welcome me back with my dog even though they don't have to because I have not provided her i.d tag to prove support dog yet very good good customer service great food but specifically come here to buy my dog dim sims so I am glad to have met such friendly face in a small shop front on bladen Street even though I have not eaten him much myself I hope they stay and stick it through

Not many Fish & Chips place can do their chips right. This is one of them! Crispy on the outside yet not dry in the middle. Generous servings too. Definitely my go to place for local takeaway. Great friendly service too

I recently visited Pizza 888 and had an amazing experience! Their food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I tried their Tandoori Pizza, Peri Peri Pizza, and Pasta — and honestly, each one was better than the last! The Tandoori Pizza had a perfect smoky flavor with just the right amount of spice. The Peri Peri Pizza was fiery and flavorful — great for spice lovers! And the Pasta was creamy, well-cooked, and loaded with taste. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re craving great pizza or pasta, Pizza 888 is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We had takeaway fish and chips. It was a generous portion of fish, very tasty and cooked perfectly, crisp and not greasy. The chips were lightly crunchy and perfectly seasoned.

I ordered a few flakes and all were paper thin and not cheap and they smelt funny I won’t come here again it’s like they got one flake and cut into 3 it’s so bad how paper thin it is even the others eating it said the same thing as comparison to other fish and chip shops we have been to. Really disappointed I should have provided a pic not only they charged grilled extra here there was nothing it. $4.80 per fish bite ????$3.00 a potatoe cake and they say surcharge is everyday not only public holidays weather you pay cash or not if you want to be ripped off come here. Place is very small, only 4 tables available for dine in (they do more take away order) but it's nice and clean, service was very friendly too. Food came rather quick. The sweet sour fish was nice, crispy batter but still nice and juicy fish inside. The vegetables was nice and feel fresh, also tasty. The fried rice was not too dry and not too oily, just right! The shumai was nice, I can taste some real meat inside. Will come back to try the others on the menu 😻

Recommended by friend. Take away restaurant but there are places for you to dine in. Delicious food and all in generous proportion. Friendly staff. Only drawback is the others' takeaway orders might keep you wait long.

Not even one star. Ordered Roast Pork Belly and BBQ Pork for pick up and it was one of the worst meals I have had. Apparently the Roast Pork was deep fried, burnt and skin wasn’t crispy at all. The bbq pork was very dry and covered with thick sweet sauce. Will not recommend.

Order online and self-pick up in-store. The wait time is slightly longer than expected. I ordered Mongolian lamb and CKT for takeaway. I loved both of them, it tastes so deliciously. But the online menu is limited compared to the order from the restaurant.

Had my first meal from Golden Sampan last night. I have driven past it for years and I am so glad I gave it a try. The food is excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, food was fresh, really tasty and non greasy as well as reasonably priced. I think I just found my go to Chinese takeaway. Already looking forward to my next meal. Nice Spot, But Pizza Falls Short It has a lovely ambiance and friendly service, but the pizza left much to be desired. The crust was a bit too dense, the sauce lacked flavor, and the toppings didn’t feel as fresh as they could have been. While it’s an okay place for a casual meal, there are better pizza options out there. Still, the atmosphere might make it worth a visit if you’re in the area.

One of my favourite places to get pizzas been coming here since I was young and was never disappointed. Amazing staff and welcoming owner and amazing food. I would recommend the Mediterranean pizza one of my personal favourites.

Vegan pizza has fab flavours and Fettucine Carbonara....YUM! you don't even get tri colour pasta in restaurants!! Am loving every mouthful. Had to review mid meal to stop eating so fast!! I have been to Woolworths at millers Junction few times. Staff is always friendly no doubt but once I was looking for falafel and went around but staff was unable to help me and they kept asking me to check here and there. I love to shop when things are on sale, moreover its close to other food junctions and shops. Bunnings is also nearby. Plenty of free parking infront of woolworths, they also have fruits for kids which is amazing for kids and is a good sales strategy.

Unexpectedly found this fantastic hanging Disco Ball planter! Very glam and super cute! (I have a big love for disco balls and hang a massive 80cm disco ball outdoors during New Year's Eve celebrations, every year. Everyone loves it .... catches and bounces off light so gorgeously!) I am also currently making a round disco frame mirror, about 60cm in diameter for our front entry hallway (have purchased round foam framework and using self adhesive silver disco mirror tile). Should be lots of fun .... for a touch of pizzaz and a good laugh ... Lol.

I really like this super market it's well stocked and the girl at the deli was really nice and very friendly. I only find it a bit dark the lighting is not very poor but that's only me I like to have a bit of good lighting as I can't see very well.

Worse experience and customer service I have ever experienced. We forgot to put through a 25 cent paper bag and the girl on checkout treated us like a criminal and was abusive. The manager is nice and respectful but staff like that shouldn’t be in customer service.

Customer service has taken a massive dive since Angela has been 'working' there and she has over charged me considerable amounts and probably pocketed the extra money for herself so I shop at ALDI now. It doesn't have the variety of Woolies but it's still good, but different™.

Having the best time at dinner — and oh my, it’s so good! The fish and chips are seriously next-level: the batter is perfectly done — not too thick, crazy crispy, and the fish inside? One of the best I’ve ever had! We also added on the prawns, and let me tell you, it’s the ultimate snack upgrade. Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve had! The fish is fresh, the chips are perfectly cooked, and the potato cakes are unreal crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavour. You can tell they use clean oil, nothing tastes greasy. The owners are great people, Would 100% recommend this place!

The flake was cooked to perfection—light, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a crisp golden batter that wasn’t greasy at all. You can tell they take pride in getting it just right. The chips were just as impressive: crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside, and seasoned spot-on. Nothing soggy or overdone—just classic fish and chips done right. Friendly service, quick turnaround, and everything fresh out of the fryer. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back!

Smallest kebab I've ever had!! AND most expensive too!!... and worst tasting. It was cold, the chicken had a burnt, chemical taste to it (even though it came out of the warmer box) barely any toppings, and they didn't pop it in the sandwich press to toast it... plenty of great kebab shops in the area, for much better prices too... won't be coming back.. photo shows how small kebab is, with toilet paper inner tube to show scale...

Am a regular customer. Always get the wrap, chips and drink combo. Kebabs are delicious and chips are always hot and crunchy. Workers are more than happy to cater to any request. Atmoshere could do with a revamp but definitely recommend.

My girlfriend and I tried this amazing kebab place for dinner tonight. We've been to many generic kebab shops and trucks in the northern and western suburbs but Charcoal Shish Kebabs easily blows them all away! We had the mixed chicken/lamb shish dinner pack and HSP. The food is exceptional. The meat was cooked to perfection, succulent, juicy, flavoursome and served with a generous amount of rice and salad. The dips are absolutely amazing too, especially the hummus and eggplant. My personal favourite was the lamb shish kebab as I love that slight charcoal taste. Murat and his staff are super friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. The service was truly exceptional. 11/10. Cannot recommend this place enough and we'll be looking forward to eating here again!

Why do you guys keep giving us cans in the combo instead of bottles? It’s happened the last 5 times if not more we’ve ordered with you. Either change your combo and adjust the price or learn your own menu and put the right items in the bag. It’s not that hard.

Normally the pizzas here are my favourite but unfortunately this time my request for no pineapple or prawns was ignored (which has happened once before) and I am allergic so I wasn’t able to eat it at all. I also noticed the onions weren’t chopped properly so there were just massive thick chunks of raw onion throughout the pizza. Really disappointed cause their pizzas are usually the best but I’ve noticed the quality has started to decline lately.

If I happen to visit Altona Medows again, probably I'll visit the place one more time. They've proper parking space, reasonable taste for the price you pay. They have multiple take away deals and combos.

Google and their own website said they were open. Their site happily took my money, confirming the order, as I arrived at the store 20min later I got a text saying the order couldn't be completed. They were closed. They don't look like they've been open for a very long time. Now it says refund pending.

Food was below average today, I think they have changed hands and the quality of food had dropped pretty bad and pretty fast, the batter today tasted like I was eating pancakes, it was really yellow, thick, fluffy and soggy, I hope the pizza is still ok.

Absolute legends at Abby’s pizza fish and chips take away! They cook some of the best fish - my go-to is the grilled fish burger. They are always so welcoming and inclusive of everybody. They are also super generous with the pizza toppings.

You won’t be disappointed. I have been going to Yim Yam since the day they opened, over 20 years ago. I can say with all honesty I have never been disappointed. It is a quaint and understated little Thai/ Laotian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious!!!!! They have a wide variety for all tastes, and nothing is ever a problem. Recently there was a mix up when taking my order, they gave me an extra meal for the long delay and wrote a gorgeous little note apologising for the mix up. My all time favorites are… Green Curry, the Honey Chicken & Pineapple stir fry is must, Fish Cakes as an entree and Pad Thai.

Overall a lovely dining experience. Good value for money, solid portions and flavours were just right. - prawn & crab rolls - salted crab papaya salad wasn't too spicy - pad thai was a great portion - roti with satay - sauce was great but roti could have been fluffier Service was also fine, the girl was a bit quiet but not rude or anything like that. Came out with menus, served food with a smile and allowed us to pay our bill quickly. Place was empty when it first opened but within an hour filled out. Will definitely return again.

A catch up with old friends tonight. We loved it here. Hard to fault the surrounds. It’s an impeccably fitted out restaurant with numerous lovely spots to prop. We had several entrees and mains. It’s rustic Thai/Laos fare but it’s mighty good food. We started with duck crepes from the specials board. They were surprisingly large crepes with really good flavour. There was plenty of duck with nice salad and a lovely sauce. Hard to ask for more. Next were the rice paper rolls. They were large and unusually loose, but delicious. Lovely flavour. The chicken satay sticks were large with a beautiful sauce that was thankfully not too sweet. Next, the yum yim yam with prawn was good. The filleted rockling piece with green curry was even better. This was lovely fish that was just lightly battered with the chili spot on. The No 50 salad - toasted rice and coconut salad - as recommended by Matt Preston was also good. On the slightly negative side, the wine glasses were too small and made of rather thick glass. They were weird. Service was overall a bit cool and detached for my liking. Back to the pluses though. The food was very good. The cost was modest, aided by the low amount charged for corkage. At $30 a head for a large meal, this is a terrific restaurant.

Ordered the teriyaki noodles one night and it was good. Ordered it the second night and it was so bland. Same order same preferences, but no flavour. Got told on the phone they would remake it, made me drive to the store and then told me there's nothing they can do about it. They said that the chef is not the same every day and that theres no point to remake the food as it would be the same. On-top of this, made us wait 1.5 hrs when it was initially 45-60 mins, for just TWO noodles. Really let down by the food and service. No point playing Russian roulette with food, making people pay 50$ and then wondering if the food will be good or not. Lost a customer.

Service wasn’t the best. They told us to order via QR code. Food was as expected. No wow factor. We were having an excellent conversation as a waiter interrupted everyone and said “We are closing so please leave”. I found that very rude as there were three other tables like us, all looked at each other. Would I go there again? May be not!

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience here. We ordered a San Remo pizza, one of their gourmet range, and it was so flavourless, burnt and one of the worst things we've eaten. I wouldn't call that a pizza at all, as it was a burnt slab of bread and dry cheese and toppings.

The pizza here is all about quality and volume of ingredients. Each slice is covered in mountain of delicious ingredients and the flavours bring back memories of the pizza shops who put taste before everything else. The guys who run this place are serious about their pizza and it shows in the service and the food itself.

Pizza are good but very expensive. Pricey compared to other pizza shops however they are a good pizza . Service can be little better as well , yes I get it’s only a pizza place . But I do recommend the pizza.

The pizza is very good, so not false advertising. Be warned though, the large is more like a family, it was way too much for two! I’ll def be coming here again, as it’s in my way home, and miles better than any of the pizza places in the seabrook/ point cook area.

I have loved this place for years and years. I have noticed in the last year or 2 the quality has gone downhill big time and the pizza is not what it used to be. My pizza's had barely any sauce on it and just lacked the flavour it used to have around about a year or 2 ago. Gotta get the old blokes back in for a week to reinforce the standards to the next generation. The people in there are very friendly, but they really need to bring the quality back to the tip top standards it once was.

I’ve been living in Altona for 4 years now and have only just tried Best in the West on the weekend after moving down the street. This is honestly the best Pizza in the area, I’m kicking myself I hadn’t tried it earlier. Anyone who appreciates pineapple on a pizza (and generally the lack-there-of) their Hawaiian pizza is covered in pineapple! This will be our new local go-to-takeaway!

Just ordered half/half pizza over the phone. Asked for chilli and wasn't told it would be an extra $2 for chilli (bit steep for chilli flakes) and extra $1 for the half/half. Pizza was good though but bit on the expensive side.

I have to admit I'm not quite sure why this place has such high reviews. To me, it felt like just another burger joint. The burgers were decent, but nothing to write home about, and the chips were ok as well. I wish they offered some healthier snack options, too. The staff behind the counter seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves, which didn’t contribute to a stellar customer service experience. Overall, it just didn’t leave a lasting impression on us.

Had dinner at Burger Culture Williamstown and it was amazing! I ordered the Yankee Culture burger and it was absolutely delicious — juicy, full of flavour, and it even had proper pickles (the good kind!). Despite it being a busy 6pm rush, the wait time was under 20 minutes which was super impressive. And the chips… honestly some of the best I’ve ever had! Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend if you’re after a great burger spot in Williamstown!

Their burgers are evidently made with quality and care 👍 The chips..... like no other 🤤 What you see is what you get (generous size-even the Junior burger), unlike other big name chains that stinge on ingredients. Great value, and the staff are very pleasant 😊 Will definitely return and recommend!

This is the second time we’ve been here, will not be the last! Easily some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in Melbourne. He knows his stuff, batter was great, not greasy. Chips were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Make the trip up from the beach to grab your fish and chips here! He even looked after my kids by having a stack of Bertie beetles under the counter.

I stopped by to try the hand-cut chips, and wow, they were incredible! Tasted like my childhood fish and chips! Old school style! You just don’t get chips like this anywhere anymore! The attention to detail in every aspect, from the craftsmanship of the food to the sparkling clean environment, really impressed me. The owner is so friendly and an absolute delight to chat with. Nice fish n chip shop i would reccommend it to anyone who likes seafood chips or burgers. Ice cream is available for those summer days or a cold beverage to enjoy and chill out by the beach with your friends or loved ones in the summer. The chips, potato Cakes, dim sims and chicken nuggets are delicious and they occasionally throw in a extra potato Cake when I order multiple potato Cakes. Good customer service, seemed very friendly & working hard due to mass amount of people In the store. Ordered an extra large charcoal chicken & a large chips, the chicken came right of the spit being very fresh and juicy. The chips are an A++ from me and my dad as every other time we go to a fish and chip place ordering a large, the fish and chip shop’s, generally stinge you and we are very big eaters but the amount of chips they gave where if anything too much.. how you want it. Salt on the chips perfect, if you are a heavy salt lover standard isn’t enough you have to ask for more.. but the chips had a good crust and weren’t too oily or burnt at all. Amazing portion sizes, watching them work doing other people meals and seeing the servings they put out KILLS the current fish and chip stereotype. Would go again.

this joint might just be the greatest franchise chicken and chips place ive visited. the ammount of times i have been here and no times there has been anything bad. i consistantly come here and get 2.50 chips and 3 hot wings, goated combo and the last time i was there some guy just bought it for me which really just made my day and the staff are just insanly good the way they make the chips and chicken is tooooo tuff like every time it just hits evry bone in my body perfectly. i would 1 million percent reccomend for literally anyone in the world to come here they will NOT dissapoint.

came here at 11am and got stale cardboard like chips, must have been saved from yesterday. we all know we go to chicken shops for the chips! Pineapple fritter was dried out like washing left out in the desert for a week. Had to bin both. Chicken was ok, had worse/had better. overall very disappointed with the food but gave them 2 stars as staff were nice and very welcoming.

The atmosphere was extremely poor. It was depressing to sit in and watch the workers struggle to keep up as the kitchen is clearly disorganised. Service was fine, the workers just looked confused the whole time during my sitting. The food was poor, chips were very bad quality, they were oily and had no seasoning whatsoever. The meat had heaps of fat and gristle, overall would not recommend, if the prices were a lot lower at least you would know what you’re gonna get.

Been going here for a few years now, and definitely the best chippy in the inner west. Portion sizes are generous (photo shown is there minimum chips - more than enough for a family of 4, or 2 very hungry adults!), food is always well cooked and tasty, and the staff are always friendly. Last trip involved chicken burgers, but we've had heaps off the menu (schnitzels, blue grenadier, king george whiting, etc) and everything has been good. It's not our closest chip shop, but happy to travel to get good quality food. Would recommend giving it a go.

The fish and chips are awful. I think they are both frozen and the batter was horrible. Even the chips are not great.It is a real shame as was looking forward to lunch. Definitely do not go to this place for your fish and chips. Also pretty expensive for what was provided.

I ordered Flake, Chips and Salad. Unfortunately, i was served highly processed fish extender, not flake. The consistency was like cake with a very low content of fish. Chips and salad was ok. They charge $18 for this dish if they used fresh fish that is battered in house.

Ive come here since I was a kids and loved everything about the place but the new owners customer service and overall atmosphere is appalling and makes it hard to come back. Portion sizes are stingy and food just isn't the same.. if you want an average chips n gravy its alright but thats about all the place has now..

Came here for a Friday lunch and decided on the good ol 1/4 chicken pack. $9.20 with a can of drink included, pretty good deal these days. We sat out the front of the shop, chicken was very good, typical charcoal taste with tasty meat falling off the bone. Chips were great, nice and fresh but not enough chicken salt even though I asked for extra. Good quality food all up and friendly service, would come back for sure.

My partner and I walked and asked the women working if they had spicy chicken (because the one in Altona meadow sells it). The guy then walked out and she goes to him “spicy chicken” and started laughing at us. We walked straight out. Never will we come back here! The salads looked grossed! Growing up in Altona, this was the go-to Charcoal Chicken shop for everyone, and the roll here was definitely a favourite. A focaccia bread roll with a flavoursome, crispy schnitzel, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. Service is always friendly, the prices are low and the portions are large. I believe they have changed hands over the past couple of years but to me it still tastes the same. Great hot chips!

The charcoal chicken was very flavourful and fall-apart tender. I ordered it with gravy but I didn’t need it as it was juicy throughout. Seafood salad has actual prawns in it!

I ordered a vegan burger with sprite and got a chicken burger with coke. It had my name on the receipt too, just don’t know how this happens 9 time out of 10 my order is wrong. Save yourself the time and money and go to another Nando’s.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern following a distressing experience at one of your branches. During my recent visit, I discovered a hair in my food. This is a serious hygiene issue that left me feeling extremely unwell — to the point where I couldn’t continue eating and eventually vomited. What made the situation worse was the reaction from the staff. The girl who was serving me showed no concern or care about the issue when I raised it. Her dismissive attitude only added to the unpleasantness of the situation. As someone who has enjoyed Nando’s in the past, I found this experience not only unacceptable but also very upsetting. I believe your team should be trained to handle such complaints with sensitivity and professionalism, especially when it involves customer health and food hygiene.

Ordered two quarter chickens with chips . One was sufficient. The other quarter chicken was ridiculous. Basically a drumstick. Manager tried to justify. When you spend $70 between one adult and 2 kids you expect a bit more than that . All manager could do was shrug his shoulders. Never again. Complete rip off

FOOD POISONING ALERT! I am posting this review a month after the fact because we were honestly so traumatised but people need to know. This Nando’s gave us horrible FOOD POISONING. We ate here and shortly after I began to feel very unwell, followed by my partner. We were vomiting for days after eating here. Clearly the chicken was not properly stored/prepared/cooked. It couldn’t have been anything else we ate as it was our first meal of the day (in the arvo, after not having eaten all day). Disgraceful for an established food chain to make people sick in this way. I thank God our 2yo child did not eat it with us. We suffered for close to a week because of your carelessness. Do better.

Food is obviously decent as the core ingredients are the same as any other Nandos, however my wait time compared i had to wait half an hour after the rest of my company was half an hour and by the time i got my food their food was cold. Paid almost $30 for a burger fries and drink yet the fries were much smaller than most places. unevenly seasoned with merely patches of seasoning to be found. A member of my company had the wrong chicken in their order. And the restaurant was stinking hot with no air conditioning and door dash/uber eats people lingering all around the restaurant. In summary -Food was as bad as it could be -Service was abysmal -atmosphere hot, overcrowded and not chill at all

Williamstown Nando's is pretty shifty undercuts chicken size in burgers and wraps dining table seats are absolutely filthy never have been wiped down ask for a bottle of tap water gave us a hot bottle of water I wouldn't recommend dining at this restaurant go to another restaurant for a better experience.

Ordered the smallest sweet potato chips which turned out to be a generous serve between two people. Very impressed. Also ordered a mini cheesy garlic pita for $2.95 which was delicious. The only downsides were the service and the toilet was atrocious. Overall for a place selling food, they need to up their cleaning game. I've eaten at many other nicer Nando's.

This store gets orders wrong every single time. Today I ordered just one large shaker fries. I got fries, shaker bag and no seasoning. Avoid this store. Manager even looked in the bag and checked to make sure it was definitely wrong

Ordered two happy meals for the kids and a Big Mac meal for myself got the burgers and they where full of black dots hopefully just burnt grease and onion as burgers had been half eaten before noticing ( hopefully turns the kids off maccas )

This place is the most hit and miss place never consistent with coffee but then today I get this People pay for their food to at least be so what ok this is just such a poor effort like who does this I wish I was lieing

I ordered a triple cheeseburger meal. Cold, fries and they gave me a double instead. When I asked for what I ordered they told me that it was not what I paid for?? Asked for fresh fries they are COLD and so is my burger. Everything is always cold and fries are EMPTY. Also why are you putting 7 pickles in my burger? Is this a joke

This is the second time they have completely stuffed up my order and haven’t got back to me. I ordered a large 10 nugget meal and they gave me a happy meal and coffee I don’t drink coffee, and a chicken muffin I don’t eat that either. The next time I ordered a bacon muffin meal with coke and they gave me a coffee with lactose free milk like wtf is wrong with them?

The service in drive-thru is upsettingly appalling I ask for fresh food I expect fresh food not fresh chips and cold burgers and nuggets fresh means fresh then to park you in waiting bay when all the car parks are full the girl that was serving us in drive-thru told me to park over in the waiting bay when they're all full her response was I didn't know they were full Chris you need to employ better people your service here is crap. You yell at me I yell at you I am not sorry for yelling at you in drive-thru I will do it again if I have to but I will not come back to this store.

Tonight my family went through drive through, the girl who took the order was great and made it easy. We had no cars in front of us, we were given our fries then waiting bayed while the fries got cold. We made it home with a missing burger so I phoned and they said to come back. Like I’m going to do that. My fries were already cold I didn’t want to come back to cold burgers too. The bacon on my husbands bbq bacon angus burger was rock hard and inedible.. seriously the worst

You would think most monkeys could make a basic sandwich, tuna scraped all over the outside of the footlong, dripping with sauce, stuffing hanging out all over the place. Considering it cost $50 for 2 footlongs. DO BETTER SUBWAY LAVERTON! See in photos.

Don’t waste your money here. The customer service was very poor, and the food was even worse — I would have given 4 stars if the food had been good, but it definitely wasn’t. That’s why I gave 1 star, just to give an idea of how disappointing it was. If you don’t want to work, don’t show up. And if you are at work, please don’t be lazy. This place really needs to do better.

Pathetic & rude staff, service and Food. Worse subway ever been to. The worker name YIAANI (so called assistant manager)told to me to get out and have it somewhere else when provided feedback over their service. Give this place a miss! Ordered via Uber eats for 2 chicken strips wraps. Got wraps delivered without any chicken. When I called this store to raise the issue, was told by “Pavneet” that manager isn’t around and “I didn’t make the order” so I won’t know. Seriously?? Where is the customer service, where’s the apology? I told her it doesn’t matter who made the order, what matters is what you will do to fix it? Was told to wait for manager to respond after he will be texted. And was told “don’t be rude!” - no one was being rude, I was indignant as a paying customer that I was fleeced by this subway. Shocking, unprofessional and untrained unworthy staff

Look inside your item before you leave. Stopped on my way through due to the exit having a lot of choices. I went with KFC/TB and ordered 1 cheesy Gordita crunch. I took one bite and it was nothing g but shell. I turned it to the other end and it was nothing but shell. I opened up my cheesy Gordita crunch to see this. Always look inside of the item.

DISMAY, my cat has kidney disease. believe me when i say after having driven 2 hours with the intention of treating myself with a little bit of cheeky mexican, that i seldom get to enjoy, i had high hopes. but alas, dear oh dear me. after having been threatened by the pile of beans and tortilla that they were trying to pass off as a crunch wrap supreme, i now feel a deep rooted desire to join my cat in her terminal disease. i care for her full time, and this is what get. i ordered a black bean crunch wrap supreme meal, and a cheesey g taco. and let me say, thank GOD i decided to order that taco. the second i picked up that crunch wrap supreme, it felt wet and soggy. after a few bites it was clear it had just been filled to the brim with wet beans. there was absolutely NO crunch. should rename it wet wrap supreme. it then fell apart in my hands, so in actuality calling it a wrap of any sort would he inaccurate. my expectations weren’t high, just for it to be edible. am i crazy? is that unreasonable? i run on a carb deficit everyday. i put that to waste for what? i beg someone to offer clarity. the pepsi max also tasted like water carted in from altona beach. when will my suffering end? JUST when i think things couldn’t get worse, i go to use the lavatory facilities, and what am i greeted with after urinating? the answer is NOTHING! I AM A LADY! there was no toilet paper to be seen, i had to drip dry. to my dismay, i had to resort to the napkins still left in the bag next to the bin. good friday? bad friday! is god even real? i don’t believe in anything anymore.

The ambiance in here is quite pleasant. The food is actually not bad considering it’s a fast food chain and Taco Bell is known for causing.. sore stomachs. (I was gonna take a picture of my food, but I was hungry. Looks as you’d expect tho). So yeah, not too bad for a quick bite, as wait times arent too long, even when there’s a fair amount of people in here.

Ordered via Uber eats tonight. Ordered a combo bundle whatever it is, order comes with 2 burritos, 2 tacos, 2 chips and 1 cinnamon desert thing. Order arrived, chips missing and cinnamon thing missing. Very sneakily replaced the cinnamon thing with some chocolate looking pancake monstrosity. Complained via Uber, said the order isn’t eligible for a PARTIAL refund for missing items. Take bite out of burrito, the beef that I ordered wasn’t there, but there was some choppy, soggy, drenched in sauce cubes of chicken. Are you joking? Not only is it overpriced as hell but I have to pay you for nothing? Could have eaten the bag it came in and wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the bag and the “taco” shell.

1 person working. That’s it. Waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, then another 15 minutes to get the order. At least 6 cars went through the drive through, so I’m assuming they are the priority. Wasn’t told about any sort of wait, nor did anyone apologise when I finally got my food. Not blaming the sole employee there, he was busting his ass. But I won’t be returning anytime soon.

My mum and I ordered a black bean burrito bowl, a smokey burrito with no chicken & added black beans, and chips on the side. They instead gave us 3 random burritos with nothing in it but rice that was undercooked & crunchy, & bit of seasoning with beans!! No sauce, no cheese, no sour cream that was supposed to come with it, nothing. The only thing they got right was the chips! The service is usually friendly but the food is appalling, especially when it's under cooked & inedible! ...Disappointing & underwhelming 😒

Honestly, I’ve got to give Taco Bell a shoutout! Every time my partner and myself go the food always comes out fresh and hot, just the way it should be. Nothing ever feels rushed or sloppy. Another positive is the staff here are always so friendly and give you your order with a smile on your face it’s not like when you go to Maccas and they just shove your bag of food and not even look at you. It’s just one of those places that makes grabbing a quick meal more enjoyable. Big thumbs up to the team for always keeping the good vibes going!
