not a big fan of fish and chips but definitely one of the best places i've had it at! i always complain about how fish and chips oily it is or how it isn't fresh or crunchy enough but i think off the pier has done a great job.
we ordered the fish bites deal and it was $35 shared between two, in this economy i think that's a steal! we took it to williamstown beach area and had a picnic during sunset. it was perfect!
Great service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We went on a weekday and the food came out quickly, without any delays. Everything was delicious; personally, I would have added a touch more salt to the fish batter, but that’s just a matter of taste. They definitely deserve the full 5 stars.
I ordered fish n chips with salad and can for $24. All ingredients for the meal it’s absolutely fresh. Don’t forget to add the tartare sauce for $1.5, you will never regret that

Tried this place out yesterday and was suprised to find out who the owner was! him and his family owned the fish and chip shop in Seddon on Charles St 90s-2010s. They were voted the best fish and chip shop on the radio back in the days! was so happy when I found out this is his new shop. He hasn't lost his touch the flake we had was cooked perfect crispy/crunchy batter fish was fresh with a subtle sweetness omg so good. Chips were great too crunchy on the outside pillowy soft on the inside amazing. Will be coming back here for well priced fish and chips.
From the first bite, we knew this wasn’t your average fish and chips. The location, crunch & flavour, the generous portion—everything hit the mark. You can taste the difference in quality, and Azz and his crew clearly take pride in what’s being served. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out! We’ll definitely be back. Stella is located on pier street, beautiful street witj other shops around. I am very particular about my pizza and have limited choices due to my dietary requirements. Their pizza is one of the best ones I ever had. 😋 I order pizza from them once in every month and love it. In terms of seating arrangement indoor and outdoor is available. Staff are friendly and polite, once they got my order wrong and very kindly replaced my pizza so I love the service. They have veg n non veg both options available. Menu is great and friendly staff. Talking about menu they have so many options of veg , non veg n GF you will be surprised. Can always buy beer n wine and also buy some sides.My go to place for 🍕. I recommend vegetarian pizza and its yummy, must try.
I had a wonderful experience at Stella’s! The hospitality was outstanding — the staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Service was quick, and the food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Everything was served with a smile, which made the experience even better. Spanning over 10,000 square meters and hosting more than 50 diverse food vendors, including popular names like 48h Pizza Bar and Claw & Tail, this bustling precinct offers an array of international cuisines alongside live music and entertainment. The communal-share style dining experience is set against the backdrop of Melbourne's city skyline.
This is a great place to try out so many different foods. We went on a chilly saturday but were pleasantly surprised by the ability to sit out of the wind, under shelter and with outdoor heaters. With plenty of seating we were able to go pick food and come back to sit down and eat it. If I had any suggestions they would be:
1. Another coffee van.
2. Smaller, cheaper portions or taster plates so we could try more foods.

We had such a fantastic time at Grazeland Melbourne! The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy, yet still very family-friendly. There’s so much variety in food and drinks — from delicious street eats to sweet treats — something for everyone’s taste.
What really stood out was how baby-friendly the place is. There’s plenty of space for prams, lots of seating options, and clean baby-changing facilities. We felt comfortable the whole time with our little one.
It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed weekend outing — great food, live entertainment, and a safe, fun vibe for families. Can’t wait to go back!
Finally! We experience Grazeland on a normal Melbourne Weather. Lots of food choices from meat to seafood to pasta to rice. They have everything. I feel like its better than the night market in Queen Vic Market. Will definitely go again!
The performers were excellent, the atmosphere was amazing, and there were plenty of food options. I went out with friends and had a wonderful time. It was a very relaxed experience, and the entry fee was also reasonable.
Had to queue up on a Sunday, and as it got closer to opening time, the line got longer — but things moved quickly once the doors opened. With so many food options inside, the wait for food isn’t long.
I went to the paella place around 12:10 and waited just over 20 minutes for it to be cooked, but it was worth it. The owner was super friendly and generous with portions — definitely worth the wait.
Also tried the fish burger, which was excellent. Great price, and the fish was tender.
Would definitely come more often if it was a bit closer to the city!
Grazeland is a really cool concept, it feels a bit like being at a carnival with all the food stalls and vendors, live music, and that buzzing atmosphere. There’s a great mix of casual seating, and the view at sunset is beautiful. It’s pram-friendly and right next to Scienceworks, so next time I’d love to visit there first and then head to Grazeland for an early dinner.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge. There’s a big car park and plenty of street parking nearby, but it does get very busy depending on the time you go. From memory, it’s only a few dollars entry per person.
There’s so much trending food to try, I loved the cheesecake on a stick! Prices are what you’d expect from places like the Melbourne Show or Queen Vic Market, a little higher than usual but not outrageous. Overall, it’s always a great night out and a bit of a novelty experience. We love bringing interstate or international visitors here, everyone enjoys it!

The attention to detail in every aspect, from the craftsmanship of the food to the sparkling clean environment, really impressed me. The owner is so friendly and an absolute delight to chat with. I can't wait to return and explore more items on the menu!

Nice fish n chip shop i would reccommend it to anyone who likes seafood chips or burgers. Ice cream is available for those summer days or a cold beverage to enjoy and chill out by the beach with your friends or loved ones in the summer. However winters are bitterly cold here so its wise to come with a good jacket.

Great location, it’s literally located just across the beach, which is so convenient. There are few outdoor seating in front of the shop.
Food quality: We’ve been here for couple of times, and we always get the fish and chips couple pack. To be honest, it’s a decent fish and chips. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Chips are just alright. Extra sauce is $1 each. Price is good.

The chips, potato Cakes, dim sims and chicken nuggets are delicious and they occasionally throw in a extra potato Cake when I order multiple potato Cakes.

Every single time we go, the hot chips do not disappoint at all. I compare every potato I eat to here. They have the nicest staff and always loads up the bag with a ton of chips. If there is ever not enough in the tray, they always give a nice hot fresh batch to us. Everyone says thank you and bye when we walk out and it makes me feel wonderful. I think about this place at least once a day. If I am having a bad day, my boyfriend takes me here. If I am having a good day, my boyfriend also takes me here. I pray that this place never ever closes, and if I ever have to move back to America, nothing makes me more sad than not having these chips. We love you guys and we love your chicken salt chippies <3 <3 <3 Best in the world!!!

The chips are an A++ from me and my dad as every other time we go to a fish and chip place ordering a large, the fish and chip shop’s, generally stinge you and we are very big eaters but the amount of chips they gave where if anything too much.. how you want it.
Salt on the chips perfect, if you are a heavy salt lover standard isn’t enough you have to ask for more.. but the chips had a good crust and weren’t too oily or burnt at all.
Amazing portion sizes, watching them work doing other people meals and seeing the servings they put out KILLS the current fish and chip stereotype.

this joint might just be the greatest franchise chicken and chips place ive visited. the ammount of times i have been here and no times there has been anything bad. i consistantly come here and get 2.50 chips and 3 hot wings, goated combo and the last time i was there some guy just bought it for me which really just made my day and the staff are just insanly good the way they make the chips and chicken is tooooo tuff like every time it just hits evry bone in my body perfectly. i would 1 million percent reccomend for literally anyone in the world to come here they will NOT dissapoint.

What a great meal! The new owners, Rob and Shelley, are so hospitable and they clearly have a passion for food and customer service. Food tastes fresh and delicious, the venue is sparkling clean and the passion these new lovely business owners have to offer the best quality is refreshing to see. Williamstown is lucky to have them take over from the old owner, who let the place go. Do yourself a favour and try the new Wok Rite In Noodle & Snack Bar. (Rob and Shelley are still setting the place up with their own personal touches… in terms of atmosphere, their hospitality is second to none).
Where do I start? Service was amazing, I'm somewhat new to the area only lived out this way for a year now, the owners said they only recently took over the business and I gotta say it feels like they've been there for years. Food was some of the best I've had in relation to stir-fry, this is coming from someone who is in and out of just about every state always eating Chinese no matter where I am. It's affordable for a family of 5, they're super fast, and most of all just lovely people, very friendly, we had a joke and they even offered us some free samples of chicken, and even asked us what flavour we wanted 🤣. I can tell these guys are gonna be here awhile, amazing. P.S wish I had photos as the food was crazy good.
The food is delicious, lots of things to chose from. The owner also gave us samples of honey garlic chicken which tasted way too good.

The dim sims were unreal, best in the west. As-well as the BEST special fried rice I've had. Unreal joint, highlights all round, quiet shop, which deserves more recognition for their high quality food they make and the effort they put in.

My only bad experience was when the "teens" were running the shop at the start of 2021 and made my Snack Pack with the cheese on top so it never melted.

The atmosphere was extremely poor. It was depressing to sit in and watch the workers struggle to keep up as the kitchen is clearly disorganised. Service was fine, the workers just looked confused the whole time during my sitting. The food was poor, chips were very bad quality, they were oily and had no seasoning whatsoever. The meat had heaps of fat and gristle, overall would not recommend, if the prices were a lot lower at least you would know what you’re gonna get.

Last trip involved chicken burgers, but we've had heaps off the menu (schnitzels, blue grenadier, king george whiting, etc) and everything has been good.
It's not our closest chip shop, but happy to travel to get good quality food. Would recommend giving it a go.
The fish and chips are awful. I think they are both frozen and the batter was horrible. Even the chips are not great.It is a real shame as was looking forward to lunch. Definitely do not go to this place for your fish and chips.

Kenny's Yum Cha House is a delightful gem that I stumbled upon while searching for a meal. The menu boasts an impressive variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. The pork and vegetable dishes were particularly enjoyable, and the kids couldn't get enough of the octopus and squid legs, all seasoned to perfection. Their honey chicken was spot on, although the nasi goreng leaned towards the sweeter side.

I ordered take away, ordered and paid for a seafood nasi goreng, after getting home I see they gave me seafood Mee goreng (I hope) but it tastes sweet and sour. The dumplings are a little too on the doughy side. Hoping at least the prawn crackers are ok. Great dumplings that are always fresh and tasty. Great range to choose from as well and the size of them is generous. The chicken curry laksa - big tick. This place isn’t fancy but doesn’t need to be. Staff are great. The menu is comprehensive and here is something for everyone. Dietaries are catered for - just let the staff know. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Reasonable parking.

I find it hard to capture in words what is so special about this place. It isn't something you can put in a box, franchise, and resell. It is so distinctly unique I try to bring as many people as I can to eat here.
The food is how we love it. The simplicity of a margarita, the delight of a bolognaise, the atmosphere and banter of a family preparing your meal. Family. That is the word. Nonna prepares the sauces, the matriarch cooks the pizzas, nieces and nephews run the floor. And again, the food.
We drive quite a distance to eat at Al Pesto. My children request it over any of the places I've taken them. It saddens me that they won't be open forever, my children's children don't get to eat hand cooked pizza dough from this beautiful group. Alas that's life, and Al Pesto is one of the best slices of it.

Went here for a pizza with friends tonight. There was no service at the door. Got told to sit down after standing around for a while. Received no service at the table. Had to ask for water after waiting a while. The place was dim and dingy. Didn’t have all items on their menu. Went in after eating microwave meals for a week desperate for something fresh, but went into ask for a menu to order later, Nonna stared, younger girl simply replied 'nah, take a photo of the window, you got a phone? Actually I didn't, it was on charge at the accommodation, really just the attitude did it for me, from a lot of travel, poor attitude from staff often leads to a hit and miss meal. Good hospitality and good food go hand in hand, On this occasion, you knew whatever you bought would have no heart, which is what 'Good' Italian food is all about.
Food took an hour after ordering to be served. In the meantime the amount of smoke that filled the room each time they took a pizza out stank the place up and made my eyes water. Ventilation was terrible. The food was edible but ultimately the same flavour, texture and appeal as melted cheese on bread, with an overly generous coating of salt, and half burnt. Would not recommend.
What can I say place is run down , the worst service ive seen to date we sat down basically felt like we where in edge there as it felt like the owners or whoever behind counter wanted us out as it looked as though they wanted an easy night. They didn't even offer us water i asked for oysters told no fish well decided ravioli and a pizza, pizza came out burnt on edges raw in middle mate started to get sick ravioli well it tasted shithouse like frozen tasteless watery soup and that it was frozen back of the fridge probably for two years i won't be coming back to eat here again .
Honesty can’t recommend. Waited 50mins for takeaway pasta just to get it home and find it was claggy and tasteless. The cook was very friendly and I was discounted $2 but that doesn’t really make up for it. I’ve only been there once and this might have just been a bad day but I doubt I’ll go back.
Nice people and service was as minimally expected. Pizza was not cooked well. Dough was still raw. I was told the pasta was good but I did not try myself.

You might have noticed already that I’m on a search to find the best chicken schnitzel rolls in Melbourne. Growing up in Altona, this was the go-to Charcoal Chicken shop for everyone, and the roll here was definitely a favourite. A focaccia bread roll with a flavoursome, crispy schnitzel, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. Service is always friendly, the prices are low and the portions are large. I believe they have changed hands over the past couple of years but to me it still tastes the same. Great hot chips!
The charcoal chicken was very flavourful and fall-apart tender. I ordered it with gravy but I didn’t need it as it was juicy throughout. Seafood salad has actual prawns in it!

Afternoon snack after a road trip to the country and back. Dropped in for some steamed dimmies. Delicious. Nice and hot and asked for soy sauce and was given plenty. The grilled flake I ordered was small soggy and appeared to be wrapped in a tortilla of some sort not crumbed or battered.
The calamari rings were not calamari, more consistent with the inside of a McDonald's chicken nugget minus the taste.
Potato cakes were approximately 2"-2.5" in diameter one of which was 95% batter.

Welcome locals , Dominos…. The pizza place that we grew up with that has managed to let the people down. Waited over two hours for a pizza that looked like it had been 4 rounds with Mike Tyson , straight out of the pen…Received 3 “pizzas” in beaten boxes, cold as the trauma of my childhood.
Contacted the manager who ignored my emotions and rather than fixing the pathetic order I’d received, only replaced one single, cowardly pizza. We all have diarrhoea.

You would think most monkeys could make a basic sandwich, tuna scraped all over the outside of the footlong, dripping with sauce, stuffing hanging out all over the place. Considering it cost $50 for 2 footlongs.

Don’t waste your money here. The customer service was very poor, and the food was even worse — I would have given 4 stars if the food had been good, but it definitely wasn’t. That’s why I gave 1 star, just to give an idea of how disappointing it was. If you don’t want to work, don’t show up. And if you are at work, please don’t be lazy. This place really needs to do better.
This service was extremely disappointing. One of the staff members was very rude and unprofessional, especially in the morning. Because of this unpleasant experience, I would not recommend anyone to visit this place or spend money here. It was a very negative experience overall.”
Worst service ever... We ordered for three people and she said that she won't make 3 footlong and she just made two... The girl was really rude..at 9.20pm she is saying we are closing whereas the close is closing at 10pm.. this was ridiculous...
Pathetic & rude staff, service and Food. Worse subway ever been to. The worker name YIAANI (so called assistant manager)told to me to get out and have it somewhere else when provided feedback over their service. Also refused to provide me their manager name when asked.

Ordered via Uber eats for 2 chicken strips wraps. Got wraps delivered without any chicken. When I called this store to raise the issue, was told by “Pavneet” that manager isn’t around and “I didn’t make the order” so I won’t know. Seriously?? Where is the customer service, where’s the apology?
I told her it doesn’t matter who made the order, what matters is what you will do to fix it? Was told to wait for manager to respond after he will be texted. And was told “don’t be rude!” - no one was being rude, I was indignant as a paying customer that I was fleeced by this subway.

We went to Nonno's pizzeria last Sunday and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, and the service was exceptional. The food was excellent, especially the pizzas, and the prices were very reasonable. It's a great place for a delicious and welcoming meal in Williamstown.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the lasagne 🍝. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere with enjoyable music.
2 small pizzas, 1 gnocchi, chips and two tiramisu for about $115. I don’t think it was worth it. The Nonnos special was good but Hawaiian was dry and plain. Tiramisu tasted stale. The waitress was really nice and accomodating. Waiting time was quite long, but understandable as we went on the weekend.
I drove past this pizzeria, this is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Although the shop hemisphere is good, location is great, but the pizza dough is very average, not fresh, taste is bland and salty, the look lack of appealing.
Looks like an American fast food.

I travel around the world, including Sydney and Melbourne, searching for great pizza. Not far from you, the Mozzarella Bar in Seddon has great pizzas. The dough is fresh, taste is aromatic.
Unfortunately yours is far behind. Sorry Nonno.
I would give 6 stars if I could. The service and attention was great and personal. The octopus is a must try. The prosciutto pizza had the perfect ratio of topping. Loved it.
The atmosphere is from you local street shop, could be a bit more cozy, that’s being picky.
First visit to this restaurant with my family and I found the food magnificent the pizzas are old school and very enjoyable and mains were good sized portions that we thoroughly enjoyed will definitely be returning and I thoroughly recommend it
Food and service were good. However, I asked for shredded cheese for the pasta, and they also offered chilli oil to which I accepted. Upon paying the bill they charged 2 x cheese (even though I only got one) and 1 x chilli oil at $2.50 each which was an extra $7.50. Plus there was another 5% on top of the bill (went on Saturday night). These charges were not on the menu or mentioned in advance. Overall we had a good experience despite the extra unexpected charges
Amazing service, cute vibe, quality food. As someone who doesn’t eat a lot of take away (and generally avoids seed oils) I loved how this place offers a pizza dough reminiscent of an “old school” pizza you would get as a kid in the 90s. You can smell the style of dough and homemade sauce when you walk through the door. My son had the cotoletta, which is crumbed in house. The fillet was juicy. If they made a base with olive oil then it’d be perfect for us personally (we have allergies) but you can’t have it all. We will still return on our naughty nights away from clean, organic eating.

If you're a pizza lover like me, you absolutely must check out Best in The West! Nestled near Altona Beach, this gem has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious pies. After living in the area for four years, I finally tried their Hawaiian pizza and was blown away by the generous amount of pineapple—definitely a rarity! Each slice is loaded with high-quality ingredients that evoke memories of classic pizzerias where flavor reigns supreme.
Good amount of topping, piping hot pizza thatvi had to wait a bit to eat it, asked for +++cheese and to my surprise they put heaps on. Ordered 2 days ago and I'm currently waiting for them to open to order again. Keep up the good work guys and girls

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience here. We ordered a San Remo pizza, one of their gourmet range, and it was so flavourless, burnt and one of the worst things we've eaten. I wouldn't call that a pizza at all, as it was a burnt slab of bread and dry cheese and toppings.
The pizza here is all about quality and volume of ingredients. Each slice is covered in mountain of delicious ingredients and the flavours bring back memories of the pizza shops who put taste before everything else. The guys who run this place are serious about their pizza and it shows in the service and the food itself.
Pizza are good but very expensive. Pricey compared to other pizza shops however they are a good pizza . Service can be little better as well , yes I get it’s only a pizza place . But I do recommend the pizza.
The pizza is very good, so not false advertising. Be warned though, the large is more like a family, it was way too much for two! I’ll def be coming here again, as it’s in my way home, and miles better than any of the pizza places in the seabrook/ point cook area.
I have loved this place for years and years. I have noticed in the last year or 2 the quality has gone downhill big time and the pizza is not what it used to be. My pizza's had barely any sauce on it and just lacked the flavour it used to have around about a year or 2 ago. Gotta get the old blokes back in for a week to reinforce the standards to the next generation.
The people in there are very friendly, but they really need to bring the quality back to the tip top standards it once was.
I’ve been living in Altona for 4 years now and have only just tried Best in the West on the weekend after moving down the street. This is honestly the best Pizza in the area, I’m kicking myself I hadn’t tried it earlier. Anyone who appreciates pineapple on a pizza (and generally the lack-there-of) their Hawaiian pizza is covered in pineapple! This will be our new local go-to-takeaway!
Just ordered half/half pizza over the phone. Asked for chilli and wasn't told it would be an extra $2 for chilli (bit steep for chilli flakes) and extra $1 for the half/half.
Pizza was good though but bit on the expensive side.
