We had a fantastic lunch at Malcolm’s Ice Cream & Food, and it definitely lived up to the small-town diner charm we were hoping for. First off, shoutout to Erika—her service was exceptional! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, even as the place started to get busy. We tried a range of menu items, and everything hit the spot. The burgers were excellent—fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The fries were crisp and golden, exactly how you want diner-style fries to be. The country fried steak was tender and flavorful, though the gravy was a little heavy-handed—if you like it smothered, you’ll love it. The BLT was another standout—crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and perfectly toasted bread made it one of the best we’ve had on the trip. We wrapped up the meal with ice cream, which was a sweet finale—literally and figuratively. Be warned: one scoop is more like three! Rich, creamy, and served in a classic sundae glass, it’s hard to beat. Malcolm’s is the kind of place where locals eat, service shines, and the food makes you smile. A must-visit if you’re passing through Canyon, TX!

We went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 Blizzards. The drive-thru was backed up, and they appeared to be short staffed for the rush of business at around 8 pm. The Blizzards were good, I felt bad for the employees getting swamped with business when they didn't seem to have enough workers.

My fiancé and I came here to try another ice cream place in town. At first we tried Sweet Charlie’s (which did set the bar really high) and sought to try another one. We had the birthday cake remix and banana caramel crunch. The ice cream really good. I particularly liked the birthday cake remix more than the banana caramel crunch; however both were delicious. I definitely will get much more ice cream here in the years to come. Cold stone creamery is a good competitor to sweet Charlie’s for unique ice cream in town. Also, big kudos to the staff. They got that late night rush and was able to get everyone’s ice cream to them as quickly as they could without much delay. Keep up the good work!

El Tropico is a fantastic spot for delicious and refreshing treats in Amarillo! Their menu has a great variety of fresh fruit, smoothies, aguas frescas, and authentic Mexican snacks. The mangonadas are a must-try—perfectly sweet, tangy, and refreshing! The staff is friendly, and the service is always quick. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, making it a great place to stop by for a treat. Whether you're craving something sweet, spicy, or savory, they have something for everyone.

My fiancé and I ate here for a late night sweet craving. I had a premium ice cream that was cheese cake flavor with sprinkles and a roasted marshmallow. My fiancé had the vegan ice cream with the monkey see monkey do mix-in. Both ice creams tasted pretty good. The concept of how the ice cream was made was quite interesting. Very different than most places that give scoops of ice cream, this place rolled the ice cream. The staff was very quick with making the ice cream and friendly. I would definitely recommend for anyone to come here I’d they’re in the mood for some ice cream that is differed than the traditional sonic or Dairy Queen.

We came only to try these gems and they are worth the price tag! But they’re a lot of flavor and will have you full quickly, recommending sharing one and eating it fresh! Strawberries were perfect and the chocolate was great!

I love the chili cheese dogs here. And of course, who could not love the fries. They are so good, along with their sauces. Yum! My husband always gets the burgers,, which are also great. They are sorta like a smash burger, but better! We would have had a yummy custard ice cream, but it was really cold outside. Really clean restaurant. The folks are really nice, but the older women there is just a sweetheart. She makes sure everything's all right, even after you sit down. There is lots of parking.

Tons of flavors and mix-ins. Unbelievable thick. Got dark chocolate with pecans. Very strong creamy chocolate flavor. Like a high quality, rich, Belgian chocolate bar. Should satisfy even the strongest chocolate craving. Service was great.

I am in the hospital after nine days of having pneumonia and ending up having to have a surgery. I’ve been craving a Reese‘s blast and I had it sent and ordered DoorDash. I called the sonic location and spoke with Nick who answered the phone. I was having trouble adding extra toppings on the app. He took care of me and was very nice and accommodating. He was very professional in the way that he spoke with me the way he answered the phone and just the way he handled the situation all around. Great job Nick keep it up. Thanks again.

I came in to ask for a birthday cake. Therefore, the girl standing on the front named Mia….was being very unprofessional and not willingly to help me out at all. I don’t know what her deal is, but she needs to be nicer to the customers the way she approached with her communication skills. On the other hand, Kennedy was very helpful and nice.Manager, please train the your employee with better manners in Oder to serve the business better!!!

Always a great experience the burgers are next level we are all humans that make mistakes but this place pumps out great burgers nonstop

I didn’t take as many pictures in the place as I normally do for my reviews because I’m in an ambulance and people would react crazy lol. BUT let me tell yall, this little gem in Amarillo is so underrated it’s crazy to me! First of all, I want to thank the owners from the bottom of our hearts because they always, always take great care of EMS when we come in on duty! They get to us fast, and nearly every single time I’ve been there the owners or the staff pay for our drinks or small fruit treat. While we never expect it, it’s such a small thing to them but a big big thing to us that we are treated the way all the employees treat us when we come in. Our jobs are, quite frankly, hard. Emotionally and physically exhausting. So having a small business in the area act like they just want to get us what we NEED and get us back to our jobs quickly is so incredibly nice, we normally don’t know what to say other than thank you so so much. We want y’all to know we appreciate everything you do for us and it absolutely makes a difference in our day/night. My favorites are watermelon waters, Diablo (I’m so sorry for the life of me I can’t remember the full name) and Horchata! If you’re ever in this area, or just want a refreshing treat that’s different than what you usually have, make the drive, I promise you it’s worth it!!! Side note, I really really wish you guys would open a location in south Amarillo. I live around coulter and the loop and there is nothing like this around us! Y’all would make a killing over here 😅
