Patisserie
Coffee shop
Kadosh Café Patisserie is a beloved establishment in Jerusalem, known for its delectable sweet and savory pastries, as well as its brunch offerings, sandwiches, and coffee. Established in 1967, this European-style café exudes warmth with its family-run atmosphere and classic European design. The menu features a variety of dairy/vegetarian dishes including salads, quiches, pastas, fish, sandwiches, and an array of desserts all baked and prepared on-site.
Opens early for coffee. Outdoor and inside seating. Has a very French café vibe. The pastries are very well done. Decided to stay for a while to soak up the Jerusalem atmosphere. Proceeded to Order a delicious breakfast. Service was friendly, helpful, and pleasant.

We got to the restaurant to have breakfast. We were told there was one table in front of us. They didn’t have the ability to estimate a wait time. After the table ahead of us was seated being told we were next. They changed their mind and decided someone else had priority. 25 minutes of waiting and we left.
Zvi H — Google review
Highly unsatisfactory experience and not worth the waiting line. After a week time of close to 40 minutes we sat down to a breakfast for two. I asked about gluten free options and the waitresses said there were non, but promised to keep the bread separate from the meal. The meal arrived with crackers on the cheese and when asked to replace it with a cheese plate that crackers had not touched, they returned the plate covered in crumbs. (They had clearly just removed the crackers). We had to wait a long time between each request, and the waitress was indifferent and unhelpful.
Cheesecake D — Google review
Expensive but tasty. The food was quite good but it was around 20 euros for a plate of pasta at lunch. Tap water was offered. Service was a bit cold but efficient. Decoration is good and has a great vibe.

We came early on a Thursday night, and were seated outside. Great atmosphere - lots of helpful and attentive staff, and the food is beyond delightful. They’re pastries are on a whole different level that any other bakery - and their fresh homemade pasta was such a treat. We tried a few of the dishes, and loved them all - there are only good options here. Breakfast served all day, too! :)

Worth every second of waiting. Amazing place, fresh food and dessert. A must go to place in Jerusalem! Whenever you have a chance don't miss it! The owners are husband and wife who love there job and you can feel they enjoy it, wonderful experience!!!
Dana L — Google review
There's usually quite a wait during lunch. The food is great though. Got a feel of authentic French to it. They specialize in pastries so be sure to eat as many of those. I think the croque madam dish was a bit disappointing. The goat cheese croasone toast was great however. They also have great deserts that you can choose from the cabinet. Generally highly recommended, especially off peak busy hour
אייר ל — Google review
Arrived around 10AM on Friday and the place was super busy so had to get in line. My number was 26 so I decided to take a stroll around the area and see some shops and other stuff (which turned out to be a good decision since it took a whole hour and 15 minutes to get our table). After the waiting was over and finally sat down, everything turned out for the best. There’s quite a big variety of breakfast options on the menu so you can find anything g from the classical breakfast, croissants, salads, toasts and more. We took two dishes with some fresh juice and it was very good and fresh. Later we decided that there’s no way we don’t try something sweet and here I implore you to go inside and see what catches your eyes (for me it was almost everything) and get some recommendations from the staff. Everything was delicious and so good that we already decided to come back again ASAP. Some tips: Try to come early in the morning and be prepared to queue up. The good thing is that they work with an app that shows you your turn in line live. Take a stroll around (get water as it’s hot), see some shops and boutiques and random artists and musicians. Be patient with the waitresses as they are under huge pressure and it can be seen they lack some more employees (we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to take our order and then another 10 for the bill). Overall I remember the good experience, amazing food and yummy sweets.

When exploring the culinary delights of Jerusalem, Roladin is a must-visit destination for any food lover. This renowned bakery chain, with multiple locations throughout the city including Mamilla Mall and Jaffa Street, has become synonymous with Chanukah celebrations in Israel over the past decade.
Their passover food is the best I've tasted for a long time. Queues were enormous and there were not enough staff helping people in the shop. We didn't sit in to eat.

Friendly service. However the cappuccino was quite bland and watery. Maybe they can't do proper coffee. The salmon bagel was quite chewy. Overall disappointing. Nice location though.

Anyone who wants to indulge in some delicious cake, something sweet, something salty, this is the place to enjoy and indulge. A little expensive but worth the price. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at Roladin! 🍴 The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a night out with family. The service was also top-notch. We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items. Highly recommend! ⭐️😋

Terrible hostess please fire her , there was a table for two no line and she just ignored us and went somewhere every time for five minutes. Maybe the food is good but the service is terrible
Victoria — Google review
Great location and view... normal kitchen ... The place is located on a very beautiful street, where there are many shops, several cafes and restaurants, and many different small sculptures. Some of the tables are located outside and, due to the high position of that part of the street, on an elevation with a good view of a part of the city. Normal staff who can help you with an order. But the condition of the bathroom was very disappointing(the floor with puddles, the door handle of one of the cabins was almost broken, a broken seat mat). About the kitchen: I ordered one of the special dishes (seemingly thick big toast bread with tuna and omelettes on it and vegetable salad as a side dish), my wife ordered fried fish with the same salad, and my mother - ice cream and coffee. They drank red and white wine and a craft beer for me. I tried everything except coffee and ice cream and everything was very tasty, so I liked the food and drinks, except one thing, the tuna was salted more than necessary.
Alexandr O — Google review
Coffee was good. Food is interesting.... I ordered from the specials: mediterranean sea fish with tahini souce and salad. Would I come for seconds? Definitely not! Food was either over seasoned or bland. Dessert was just ok. Roladin didn't justify its reputation. Service same as food: some servers are attentive and some moseyltly ignore you. Tables are not cleaned between guests. New guests are being sitted when a table is vacated without being wiped clean. I've noticed this happening repeatedly with four different tables. (Yuck!) View is amazingly, but that's Jerusalem, not the place....

So salad I order with tuna has a hair, and then, we try eat some cheesecake which has a plastic on the side…. I would not recommend this place for visit.

Gagou De Paris is a renowned French-style bakery located in the heart of Jerusalem, offering a wide array of delectable baked goods such as eclairs, fruit tarts, croissants, and sufganiyot during Chanukah. The bakery has gained popularity among locals and visitors alike for its high-quality pastries. While it may be slightly pricey, the reputation for excellence is well-deserved.
Hands-down, the best bakery in Jerusalem their sandwiches are next level. Their pastries are delicious always fresh. Yummy yummy egg sandwich Strawberry delicacies …….. On the way to the airport stopping to get yourself a delicious breakfast. It’s my first place to stop in Israel!!! Thank you so much for the unbelievable vibe and food. We will be back.

This spot is excellent for brunch, breakfast or even a snack. They have savory croissant sandwiches and sweet ones too. The chocolate one is probably the best I had in my life. The pistachio cream one was excellent as well! The space is kind of tight, but it’s worth pushing through!

Not my first time at this specific patisserie, This time was beyond expectations 🤬 Unpleasant staff. Restrooms were out of order, and I was sent across the street to a place that didn’t even exist. Very disappointing – after coffee and a croissant, restrooms are the most important thing in a café.

We ordered a large Mille-feuille cake for my daughter's bat mitzvah. It was beautiful and incredibly tasty!

This place is unique! Maybe you saw the 2 brothers in the social media doing some recipes but they are pros!!! Really excellent bakery and patisserie. It was one of the best croissants that I had in the country! For sure I will come again
Roy L — Google review
YUM does not do this place justice. Everything looks and smelled amazing. High quality, fresh ingredients. Sandwiches, salad, quiche, pasta, breads, cookies, macaroons- but the croissants are the real swoon factor. Pistachio, chocolate caramel, nougat, strawberry custard, vanilla glazed- everything from your wildest French dreams. I hate Israeli ice coffee- theirs was off the hook. Didn’t find the pastries too sweet either- perfectly flakey, buttery and soft. The staff was busy and could have been a little nicer/more attentive- minus one star for the service but absolutely worth every penny, every bite. Mmmmm
Shira K — Google review
The strawberry croissant was as fabulous as it ought to be for the price. Fresh strawberries and delicious creme patisserie sandwiched within a magnificently laminated croissant that would make Paul Hollywood proud. With this location, you're paying for the people watching experience as much as the food. Enjoy!
Judy S — Google review
Maybe it wasn't their day. We intentionally came here, beside very pretty coffee nothing was good: bourekas with egg and cheese was very cold inside and doughy, croissant with cream pattisier was tasteless, same with other pastries. Left disappointed.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a flourless mango pistachio mousse cake. The cake looked impressive, but the taste is not worth the price, it cost 146 for 800 grams, and despite that, the taste was average minus, so maybe it's better to buy in a simple bakery (Original)

(Translated by Google) As a regular customer of theirs I bought a cake for another Shabbat that I buy from them I invested in an expensive cake inside the cake there were also nuts but I came across something hard in the cake and it was a shell of walnuts a hard shell that's how I had a few pieces inside on Sunday I came to the store and explained to the employee that I was interested in a credit for the heartache caused to me the employee told me that he had to take it to the pastry shop to get approval and so for a whole week they put me off until Thursday on Thursday they told me that I would get coffee And a free pastry but they weren't ready to credit me for the cake. I explained to them that I am a customer who buys a few cakes every week for a sit down. Why can't they give me the service I deserve? They didn't respond and said that's what there is and treated me in a very disrespectful way. Ap aware of the service!!! I won't go back there anymore not only because of the nut shells but also because of the shameful service that for a whole week I have to come several times to ask about a poor credit for a cake instead of getting an immediate answer I have to run after them there is no reason for me to have to wait a whole week for an answer as far as I'm concerned it's humiliating (Original)

When it comes to indulging in delightful treats, English Cake is a must-visit destination, especially for those wandering through Jerusalem. Great place for cakes, and on Fridays they also have Challa. They also have extremely fancy cakes for special occasions, but many of the best ones are rarely on display (you should ask!). The also do platters: fruit, cookies, cakes and chocolate truffles (all a bit expensive though)

We always seem to come here on eruv Shabbat when it's a balagan, but the challah and pastries are yummy, and if you ask they will show you the gluten-free desserts, which are just as good! The line is seemingly always long, but with 3 or 4 registers going with smiling, friendly people, it works out fine!

Very Very disappointed. Spent nearly NIS 100 on 3 Pesach Cakes, they were inedible and ended up in the bin. Hard, dry and tasteless. The 8 Shekel alternative from Osem, bought in the supermarket, I am sorry to say, was 100 times better. .

Talbiye is a charming European-style restaurant and wine bar located beneath the Jerusalem Theatre. It offers a cozy atmosphere with classical music during the day and jazz at night, attracting a diverse clientele including politicians, judges, and local intellectuals. The menu features French-Israeli cuisine with dishes like moules frites and sea bream cooked in white wine, as well as unique creations such as zaatar calamari and black lentil risotto.

Excellent food, good vibe, lovely people. I need to come back soon to try all dishes from the menu :D The menu is not updated online but I still got the lovely soft polenta. The black truffle oil is super aromatic and goes well with the mushroom. The polenta itself is creamy and fluffy, yet not heavy at all. For the main, the fish filet came as two pieces of sea bass with surprisingly beautiful crispy skin :> The agnolotti is perfectly made and cooked, and I very much enjoyed the thick pinched slightly chewy parts. I was warned about the sourness of lemon butter, but as someone who eats lemon and drinks vinegar, I loved how it lightened the fatty fish and fatty. The roasted garlic clove is sweet and melts in mouth. I don’t usually touch garlics but I couldn’t resist finishing that one. The Spanish songs in the background is lovely and relaxing. The wine list looks impressive. The staff are super friendly and attentive.

What a perfect place. A real gem in Jerusalem, in a quiet and pastoral neighborhood. Service above and beyond expectations. The food is simply delicious. Pleasant music. Highly recommended place.

We visited this establishment in Jerusalem for breakfast, and were shocked by how poorly we were treated. Despite at least eight empty tables in full view, we were told there was no available seating and were denied breakfast service. The reason given didn’t make any sense — and frankly, it felt like unjustified discrimination. It’s incredibly disappointing when a venue treats paying guests this way: having empty tables yet refusing to seat people is unacceptable. The policy is baffling and makes one wonder if some guests are being unfairly treated compared to others. We expected fair and courteous service, but instead we left feeling unwelcome. Could you please clarify where we can submit a formal complaint about this incident?
Tania R — Google review
TL;DR Great food in a small but very nice place It's located on the street level of the Jerusalem theater. It took us some time to find it since the google maps announced we were there when we stood on the theater plaza which is the restaurant roof. The place is small with just a few tables but it offers a nice warm  space to dine in, not crowded or noisy so you can enjoy the excellent food that is served there. We got a table of 8 for a late lunch and took all you can eat/drink when they just get several firsts and mains out of the menu and you can order more of what you like. We liked them all. The food was really good there, the wine was also good and with good company it turned out to be a perfect event. We got Appetizers: - Polenta - Green salad - Za'atar coated calamari - Asparagus - Tomatoes in garlic - Shrimps - Pate en croute - Some mushroom dish Mains: -  Beef cuts -  Risotto - Sous vide chicken breast - Some other but I don't remember Desserts: - Lemon cake - Almond cake - Ice cream Everything was really good. I especially liked - Pate en croute - Beef cuts - Lemon cake Price was really good for the food we got. Parking is hard to find on the surrounding streets - we had to park a few min walk that is less present in the Jerusalem winter even with the hot sangria we got on the way out.
Dani S — Google review
Finally we have something good to eat at The Jerusalem Theater! Good service, clean, cozy, spacious and most important - delicious!!! My personal suggestion - good Aperol Spritz would be just perfect at sunny afternoon (you should add it to the menu)
Olga R — Google review
We love this restaurant, one of our favorites in Jerusalem for any special occasion. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, not too loud and not over crowded. The food is very good, I dont think we ever disappointed from a dish here. The pastas are homemade and they ate terrific. The sea food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Tastes are delicate but rich and combining very well. They have a nice wine selection. The only problem with this restaurant is the parking. Not a lot of parking available near by, especially when there's an event in the nearby theatre. Luckily on Fridays and Sauterday this is not a problem at all.
Daniel L — Google review
High quality food and very nice decoration and atmosphere The location is also great - situated underneath the entrance plateau to the Jerusalem theater. Prices are not that steep. Only issue was the service which was incredibly slow and they forgot some of our orders (bit they did provide them free of charge as it was their fault)

Highly recommended , but don’t give this special restaurant away too quickly. The atmosphere is perfect. I don’t want to ruin it by attracting random loud tourists. Service was excellent! Thank you Shai for making this my new favorite restaurant in Jerusalem

We’ve ordered a breakfast for two but shared it for 3 people, because the portions are rather generous. Various toppings and dips to eat with bread are nice, and it was a good experience overall, but some of the dips just too spicy, and some things included to this breakfast are strange, as, for example, sweet potato, which was cold and not really tasty, and omelette wasn’t fluffy. The tea I’ve ordered (chai) wasn’t flavored enough

This great spot in the heart of Jerusalem is always lively and full of energy. They serve fresh, flavorful salads with complimentary bread and dips. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience you don’t really find anywhere else in the city — I’d definitely come back!

Lovely ambience, great service, beautifully presented & very tasty salads. My husband & I both enjoyed the best coffee , cappuccino & double espresso we have ever enjoyed. Dessert was a scrumptious Lemon/raspberry tart. Highly recommend Nadi Cafe! Will definitely be back here soon!

This review is specifically for the Emek Refaim branch. Small cafe but really pleasant place. Not a lot of choices on the menu but everything is served beautifully. The cheese cake is AMAZING. The staff is super pleasant and efficient without being pushy. An excellent place in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite brunches of our entire trip. The platters with the sauces are where this place shines. There are many types so be sure to choose wisely. I wouldn't choose the green shakshuka - I thought it would have more sauce. The apple chutney, olive tapenade and sun-dried tomato dips were all awesome.

Ben-Ami is a versatile establishment located in the heart of Jerusalem's Emek Refaim neighborhood. It offers a cozy cafe atmosphere during the day, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a latte and pastries with friends or while working. The menu features flavorful entrees, rich desserts, and an extensive selection of coffees, wines, and beers.
On this trip, we were stuck in the hotel one morning for breakfast. I spent more than 30 minutes looking for a place that would deliver an Israeli breakfast to the hotel, and I kept coming up empty with places that I knew served a great Israeli breakfast but would not deliver. Finally, I found Ben-Ami, where I have eaten in person before. They were the only restaurant that I could find that would deliver. I ordered through Wolt. I have to tell you, the food exceeded expectations! They included every item that you would expect in an Israeli breakfast, and everything was delicious without exception. We had a wonderful breakfast in the room, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the same. The bread roll was fresh, large and exceptional, the eggs were just the way I wanted them, the salad and sides were also fresh with such a great combination of ingredients. Everything was packed in a way that made it easy to eat in the hotel room. The fresh grapefruit juice was the best I've had in years, and I nursed the giant bottle all morning long. Nothing was omitted and it turned out to be the best breakfast that I had while I was in Israel in this trip. Job well done, Ben-Ami!

I came with expectations and was disappointed, the service was at a low standard, we ordered breakfast and a jug of water. The table next to me that ordered 5 min after me were given water I had to remind 2 servers that we were still waiting and the table next to me were also served before us, in fact 3 other tables that came after us received there orders before us. We were served our hot drinks and 20 min later the breakfast. The 1st notable thing was the servers finger in the cream cheese. The bread came on later after a friendly reminder and the butter my son went himself to get. The hot drinks were good but that's about all.

Fantastic fantastic food! We came on a Friday so it was busy so we waited a very long time for our food but because I said something we got a free dessert on the house. The staff was all lovely.

Delicious. Different then many of the cafes regular breakfast. Ok service.

Breakfast was awful 3 times out of 4. weird dips - see in picture - that's what you get for breakfast, portions are Michelin restaurant size, slow service. seems like bad management decisions.
Taoranga — Google review
I really enjoyed my food. The issue was the food appeared sporadically so that by the time one was finished their meal another hadn't received theirs. Yes, we were a table of 7 but that shouldn't have impacted the speed too much. Overall, I'd give it another try because the food was tasty. I'd avoid if you aren't into fancy foodie type food like blueberry jam and gravelax. But, if you are into that type of food, give it a try!
Lior S — Google review
Place seems to be going down hill or it was a really off night. Cake was dried out, Chai latte was overly sweet, service was incredibly slow. We ordered a cake and 2 hot drinks and it took like 25 minutes to be served. I'll prob try it one more time cause they usually have good cakes but idk.
Eyal S — Google review
Great place for takeout coffee and pastries (they also have dine in, but we didn't try that). If you want coffee to go, this is more civilized than Aroma, but they actually want the takeout business, unlike some nearby cafes that do it as an accommodation but aren't really set up for to go orders. Highly recommended.

Would recommend for a nice brunch. We went on a busy Shabbat morning and they said the wait would be ages but it didn’t take long. I ordered the egg salad bagel and gf ordered the workers breakfast. Both were great. I also had a nice carrot juice. Would recommend buying the eggplant extra

It was a beautiful afternoon in Jerusalem! With many places closed for Pesach, we were pleased to find this darling cafe. Only waited 5 minutes for an outdoor table, warmed by the sun. Staff friendly, kind, and helpful. Shared vegan antipasto and Bezalel salad with cheese on side for my dairy eating sister and avocado for me! Plates were beautiful and portions large enough for at least two people! Soy cappuccino delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We’ll be back and are telling our friends about you!!! 🩵🦋🇮🇱🦋🩵

Don't worry if the place is full, it took only few minutes till we got our table. The food is very good and price is average. The cold coffee is excellent. For food, we recommend taking a salad (we took the Panzanella פנצנלה). The salmon bagel is also very good. The shakshuka is good, but a bit salty.

Excellent, authentic coffee shop. I got the drip coffee, which was delicious. I also purchased from their wide array of beans and they grinded them to the perfect consistency for my french press immediately. Also includes a nice (but a little tight) atmosphere to work and meet.

Very cute place. There is no much room inside, may be 4-5 small tables and bar at the shop front, also 3 tables outside. Decent variety of coffee and cold drinks based on coffee. The prices are high. This place is awesome! The ice cream is super creamy and delicious, and you can make your own ice cream sandwiches with different flavors of fresh cookies — total game changer. The churros are also fire. Everything here hits the spot. 🍦🍪🔥

I got a small sugar-free coffee icecream (dairy) which was actually decent and not too artificial tasting, but absolutely way too expensive for how much you get... around $6 for a tiny scoop. So basically a scam. The other dissapointment was the ice coffee- an absolute waste of money. It was disgusting- tasted like consuming polluted air, and had to be thrown out. In fact, *after* we had purchased, the worker told us that we probably won't like the ice coffee, and they get a lot of complaints of how its really bad. So overall, would not recommend.

Known for his brioche-baked donuts filled with an array of delicious fillings like almond cream, lemon meringue, and chocolate patissier, David's pastries are truly a treat. Something must face fine seriously wrong because the cookies and donuts I bought were irredeemably bad. I don't understand why this place has the reputation it does. Waste of such a central location.
Mendel J — Google review
It's okay for snacks, like cream puffs, focaccia, ruggelach, mini cinnamon rolls and cheese danishes, garlic bread sticks, sambosak, and so on. It's cheap, and they'll heat your purchase for you. It's definitely not fancy, but I bought a bunch of little things for my daughter, and she liked each of them. There are better places, but they generally cost more. Also, this bakery has a good kashrut, if that's important to you. I would avoid the non-dairy cakes, which are probably prettier than they are tasty.
Shevi A — Google review

שניאור י — Google review
Unfortunately I can't give it more than three stars - a large selection of sweet and salty pastries, but disgusting to taste. The prices are high. All the pastries, with the exception of the cakes in the refrigerators, are on open trays, where flies sit on them. For a stale donut with a chemical taste, the same glaze and very hard, like a rock, multi-colored balls on top - 12 shekels. Burekas with sweet poppy seed filling taste like burnt paper. Burekas with sweet pistachio filling have absolutely no pistachio taste, like rubber. Burekas without filling taste like several layers of soft cardboard. But the staff is very friendly and professional

Goldy’s Restaurant Review Our family recently traveled to Israel to celebrate a Bar Mitzvah, and we entrusted Goldy’s for the catering of our special event. To say they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. The food was simply outstanding – every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. However, what truly set Goldy’s apart was the level of care, guidance, and attention to detail they provided throughout the entire process. From the moment we first reached out to them, their team made us feel confident and cared for, ensuring that everything would be perfect for our occasion. Even though we opted for a take-out option, the presentation of the food was impeccable. It was clear they took great pride in their work, and every element was thoughtfully designed to add to the joy of our celebration. We’ve already decided that Goldy’s is our go-to for any future needs, whether for another big event or just to enjoy their incredible food again. If you're in Israel and looking for top-tier cuisine paired with unmatched service, Goldy’s is the place to call. Highly recommended!

Avoid this place! walked over 20 minutes to Goldies for Shabbos food. I arrived literally two minutes after the posted closing time, but everything was still open inside, and people were still buying. I could clearly see staff serving others, yet they refused to let me in after such a long walk. Very frustrating and disappointing. Terrible customer service - no flexibility or consideration. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. If I could give less than one star, I would. I went back the next day their prices are crazy expensive and the food issue so good!

If I would be able to put less than 1 star for service, would do that. Ordered food online for dinner it took 3 hours to receive delivery and got it cold as in cold from fridge! It was never warmed up. (when ordered specified it should be hot) French fries cold, anyone? Common sense, why would they think someone would eat for dinner cold French fries. Called in, they offered to resend food warm. After 20 minutes got it... food was still slightly cold and was not tasty. Anyway, who needs dinner at 11:30.... food went straight to the garbage.

If you are hungry and it is quite late, check if Burekas Ima store. it will probably be open and offer you a great choice of bakery, pastry and tasty fillings, frozen pastry, cakes, cookies, all sort of breads. I've been frequenting Burekas Ima for many many years; it is an old institution located in the middle of Baka in Jerusalem and a must stop for every foody that lives in the neighborhood. This is the best place for enjoyment of real, fresh and delicious bread, and of course Burekas. An amazing array of freshly cooked on site bakes are available. From the outside, it looks a small store, but when entering, it is a quite big bakery place with a lot of varieties. Highly addictive and recommend place to go. A lot of people come on Thursday and Friday to buy the famous chala that is made for Shabbat. Regarding the Parking, during the day the location is pretty crowded as it is very central and close to Domino's pizza and other stores, so it is challenging to find a place to park. In the afternoon and evenings it is easier to find a parking slot. Finally, service. people are very nice. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite stores, certainly of its kind. I often go on Friday mornings, when there is a huge demand for baked goods, and even when the store is crowded, it's so well organized that there's no pushing or shoving, and you can get in and out quickly enough. The quality of the breads, rolls, and, of course, the burekas is excellent.

Marzipan Bakery, located on Agripas St. 44 in Jerusalem, is a renowned establishment known for its delectable rugelach and other pastries. The bakery has been serving customers for over 30 years and is particularly popular among the Anglophone community. Its signature rugelach was even listed among Saveur's 100 best foods in the world in 2010.
Marzipan Bakery and restaurant is my favorite lunch spot in the German Colony. When I say “lunch” I should be clear that your meal could be the only one you need for the day. Although Israelis do not understand the concept of the American style pancake: thick and fluffy, Marzipan’s crepe-like pancake goes down well with fresh fruit, whipped cream and syrup. Hot sandwiches are very nicely done and the side salads round out lunch. Of course, you’re surrounded by freshly baked pastries, cakes and cookies carrying the Marzipan name. Enjoy.

Rude towards foreigners. Walked into the bakery. Said good morning and the lady at the counter looked directly at me and completely ignored me to my face. Proceeded to ask if she had any cinnamon left she gave me an attitude and said there’s nothing left. When I asked for a coffee to go she asked if I wanted it for a take away and I said yes. I was with my toddler and I sat down for a moment to give him rugalach and she proceeded yell at me “ that’s why I asked if you want to take away!“ and she gave me an attitude for sitting down for just a second. Do yourself a favor and give your business to elsewhere nicer and welcoming to their customers. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life after paying for goods in a store. I will never come back to this discriminating place.

I live in the neighborhood and usually buy just the little pastries here. The pastries are usually fresh and delicious. There is one worker at the checkout counter who is very rude. This worker seems to always be angry and does not have a pleasant demeanor. It’s unfortunate because I do not feel comfortable purchasing anymore at this branch while this person is still working at the counter. There is another worker that is very personable and kind. Just not sure what that workers hours are.

Napoleon Patisserie, located in Kikar HaMusica in Jerusalem, is a delightful new addition to the culinary scene, taking over from Gourmandises de Yoel. Owned by Laurent Levy, this charming café exudes a traditional Parisian vibe and offers an impressive selection of French pastries and cakes. Guests can indulge in homemade ice cream served conveniently from a cart at the entrance for those on-the-go moments.
Great french patisserie! They have great coffee and hot chocolate, amazing croissants and pastries, and incredible mini-cakes and other desserts. You shouldn't sleep on their sandwiches, salads and hot dishes which are usually amazing. The customer service is impeccable. However, be aware that the price is a bit high - even for the area, so while I wouldn't call it a daily lunch spot, for an every-once-in-a-while or to pick up a desert for a special dinner it's incredible! I would say despite the high-ish price it's definitely worth the visit and the guarantee you're getting amazing, good quality food and desserts that are either incredibly authentic or really creative. I go there every 2-3 months and I never leave disappointed!

Perfect combination of historic architecture and modern furniture. It’s clean! Trust me, it’s sometimes hard to find a clean place in Jerusalem… Pleasant waiters provide good service and atmosphere. The cafe always tries to develop, now they started making discounts for constant clients. Finally it is made by someone who is not a “big business” in Israel. Thank owners for such a place

Wow! The food was so incredibly fresh and finely articulated. There was an array of salads and pastries - and all were so delicious! You could feel the love! The pistachio ice cream is divine! Kudos to the chef 👍🏼

I had an amazing experience at Napoleon Café in Jerusalem. Their éclairs and Napoleon cake are probably the best I have ever tried in my life — so fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, with plenty of seating and not too crowded. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet coffee break. The baristas also speak English, which made everything even easier. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Visited the place with friends for breakfast; first disappointment came when not all the items included in the menu were available (neither pancakes and nor waffles). The second disappointment came with the Israel breakfast: very standard taste for 60 Nis!! The third disappointment was the poor service. Just before we left and after we had asked a couple of times we finally got the croissant etc that was part of the breakfast. The Greek "spanakopita" costs 62 Nis while near by you can get a home made one with 26 Nis!! Just to note that we were the only customers at that time. Not worth it all and surely not a French patisserie!!! There are so many other places for breakfast in the area.

Beautiful shop per se. They took over after Yoël's Gourmandise left, and now remade it as a bakery. Basically, very commercial products, albeit of fair quality. However, the baked goods were at least mostly not "home baked" especially as they bring in Teller bread, the pasteries didn't seem as fresh as places like La Patisserie. For instance, the pain au chocolat wasn't moist inside nor buttery and was "meh", albeit better than the average Israeli bakery. They have a huge Nespresso coffee machine but it's entirely machine work even the milk, no barista skill required/used - a bit of a shame. The coffee itself tasted fine but the frothed milk lacked texture. Overall, they're much more commercialised when in comparison to its former gourmandise de Yoël. Yoël set very high, proper French standards that are hard to beat if the next shop also purports to be French (he still cooks to order and for functions, see his Facebook page). I would go there if I need something quick, and for the nice and clean seating interface, but not because of the food. That being said, they seem to be fixing the restaurant side of the boulangerie and perhaps my review will change accordingly. I believe the guy behind is a smart person, and let's see what happens.

If you're wandering through Jerusalem and craving a taste of tradition, Duvshanit bakery is an absolute must-visit. Renowned for its classic sufganiyot, this charming spot serves up some of the finest in the city. The bustling market atmosphere adds to the experience, especially on Fridays when you can savor their delicious kada—an irresistible pastry filled with savory Iraqi cheese cooked to perfection on a plancha.

Got a few burekas for breakfast. 12nis for four. Not bad price. The cheese ones were great. The mushroom was awesome. The potato was super disappointing. Don’t get it. I like judging places according to the potato burekas, because if you can get it to be delicious, you’re usually okay doing the rest. But here, the rest were good. —Kosher—

(Translated by Google) Update 2: I was there again, it was excellent, they compensated me above and beyond. Mistakes happen and you have to know how to appreciate someone who takes responsibility for a mistake. Update: They got back to me and gave me a credit, and also ordered again and said they would make sure it was a better experience. Up to 3 stars for the ability to take responsibility for a mistake. I will update again after my next visit The place has potential, but the salespeople don't understand anything about their lives in a way that is really disturbing. I'm giving two stars instead of one, because one of the desserts we ordered - chocolate and nuts - was excellent. There is nothing written about some of the desserts in the display case and the salespeople have no idea. They haven't tasted it and don't know. We took the second dessert we took because we were told it was a "pistachio dessert". It turns out that it is a dessert with a little pistachio that you can't taste and a lot of cherry jelly, hibiscus and roses (the salesperson had to check on the phone what it was after we asked). Now, I have nothing against anyone who likes roses, but we can't eat it, and by and large it's quite relevant to the decision of what to order. We asked the seller if we could get another dessert instead. He said he'd have to find out. But everything there is so inefficient and they're so bad at dealing with the number of customers (even though there are 3 sellers and few customers), that after fifteen minutes we decided to leave and forgo the 40 NIS that the dessert cost. A place that charges these prices and wants to respect itself needs to take a little more care of the sellers in matters. Marzipan Bakery and Pastry is a popular dessert shop known for its wide range of baked goods, including rugelach, donuts, and decorated cakes. The branch on Hauman Street opened in 2003 and quickly became a favorite spot for partygoers. The bakery expanded to Jerusalem and beyond, offering specialties like sahlab in the winter and unique pastries such as the igul (circle), a sambusak pastry with melted cheese and mushrooms.
To everyone with a sweet tooth: when you’re in Jerusalem, you should definitely go there. The bakery offers so mich great stuff. I’d recommend to not go for the pre-packed stuff, but to buy the fresh stuff. Absolutely amazing, especially the small croissants with the chocolate filling.

all in all a good israeli breakfast experience. pros: basic but good variety, tasty, about 35 shekels a dish, healthy options (e.g. 5% fat cream cheese). cons: atmosphere a little dead (no music), customer service with out the smile, small servings for the price, bagels not included with most dishes, lots of oil used.

The bagels are not real, like Accenture Services said above. Just round shaped bread rolls. Too fluffed up and limp.the coffee is bland or always has that old generic taste of beans that sat too long. The rugelach or whatever that's offered for the breakfast deal have too much margarine. Taste funny, or old, if not suspicious. Other foods just did not look appealing. The staff's attitude is nice when English was spoken. The visit was before the latest covid lockdown.

Horrible experience!! Go anywhere else. I went in for some coffee with my mom. When we got our coffees they tasted really bad and were cold. I tried to return them and ask for two new cups that were stronger with less milk. The girls that we’re behind the counter we’re arguing with me over making new coffee saying that they won’t do that for me because I was wrong for not ordering what I wanted when I first came in. When i spoke manger he took his employees side immediately without even acknowledging my complaint, he was so rude and dismissive and said that they won’t make me a new cup of coffee because they don’t waste money. I asked for a refund and I was refused to get my money back.I felt like crying at that point. After about an 30 minutes of back and forth they gave me back my money. I will never go back. It's a nice little Roladin branch, but not convenient for us laptoppers: In fact, it happens here that they asked me to permanently seat in a round corner table where "all consumers with laptops are stead - only there". Additionally, some weeks or already months ago one of the doors was broken, and since then it's freezing inside the cafe. They are clearly loosing clientele, which is a shame because the holders of the local branch are nice.

Using the Ten Bis website in terms of ordering was less convenient, but it was really nice to follow the courier. We ordered the vegan dish called Panobani Lobiani. The dish was satisfying and enough for one person. We ordered a medium-sized khachapuri with spinach. The dish arrived hot (the panobani was also hot). The dough was delicious, but one of the diners claimed that it was too sweet. The dish contained two eggs on top of the pastry. The eggs were the disappointment of the dish! They were hard and not soft. It was not possible to dip the edges of the pastry in the egg yolk as expected from a khachapuri dish. The cheeses were excellent, salty and delicious. The dish is suitable for two people and is very satisfying. The price of the Panobani was NIS 24. Reasonable price for satisfying food. The price of the khachapuri was NIS 52, a price suitable for two people.
