We got to the restaurant to have breakfast. We were told there was one table in front of us. They didn’t have the ability to estimate a wait time. After the table ahead of us was seated being told we were next. They changed their mind and decided someone else had priority. 25 minutes of waiting and we left.

Highly unsatisfactory experience and not worth the waiting line. After a week time of close to 40 minutes we sat down to a breakfast for two. I asked about gluten free options and the waitresses said there were non, but promised to keep the bread separate from the meal. The meal arrived with crackers on the cheese and when asked to replace it with a cheese plate that crackers had not touched, they returned the plate covered in crumbs. (They had clearly just removed the crackers). We had to wait a long time between each request, and the waitress was indifferent and unhelpful.

Expensive but tasty. The food was quite good but it was around 20 euros for a plate of pasta at lunch. Tap water was offered. Service was a bit cold but efficient. Decoration is good and has a great vibe.

We came early on a Thursday night, and were seated outside. Great atmosphere - lots of helpful and attentive staff, and the food is beyond delightful. They’re pastries are on a whole different level that any other bakery - and their fresh homemade pasta was such a treat. We tried a few of the dishes, and loved them all - there are only good options here. Breakfast served all day, too! :)

Worth every second of waiting. Amazing place, fresh food and dessert. A must go to place in Jerusalem! Whenever you have a chance don't miss it! The owners are husband and wife who love there job and you can feel they enjoy it, wonderful experience!!!

There's usually quite a wait during lunch. The food is great though. Got a feel of authentic French to it. They specialize in pastries so be sure to eat as many of those. I think the croque madam dish was a bit disappointing. The goat cheese croasone toast was great however. They also have great deserts that you can choose from the cabinet. Generally highly recommended, especially off peak busy hour

Arrived around 10AM on Friday and the place was super busy so had to get in line. My number was 26 so I decided to take a stroll around the area and see some shops and other stuff (which turned out to be a good decision since it took a whole hour and 15 minutes to get our table). After the waiting was over and finally sat down, everything turned out for the best. There’s quite a big variety of breakfast options on the menu so you can find anything g from the classical breakfast, croissants, salads, toasts and more. We took two dishes with some fresh juice and it was very good and fresh. Later we decided that there’s no way we don’t try something sweet and here I implore you to go inside and see what catches your eyes (for me it was almost everything) and get some recommendations from the staff. Everything was delicious and so good that we already decided to come back again ASAP. Some tips: Try to come early in the morning and be prepared to queue up. The good thing is that they work with an app that shows you your turn in line live. Take a stroll around (get water as it’s hot), see some shops and boutiques and random artists and musicians. Be patient with the waitresses as they are under huge pressure and it can be seen they lack some more employees (we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to take our order and then another 10 for the bill). Overall I remember the good experience, amazing food and yummy sweets.

Friendly service. However the cappuccino was quite bland and watery. Maybe they can't do proper coffee. The salmon bagel was quite chewy. Overall disappointing. Nice location though.

Anyone who wants to indulge in some delicious cake, something sweet, something salty, this is the place to enjoy and indulge. A little expensive but worth the price. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at Roladin! 🍴 The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a night out with family. The service was also top-notch. We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items. Highly recommend! ⭐️😋

Terrible hostess please fire her , there was a table for two no line and she just ignored us and went somewhere every time for five minutes. Maybe the food is good but the service is terrible

Great location and view... normal kitchen ... The place is located on a very beautiful street, where there are many shops, several cafes and restaurants, and many different small sculptures. Some of the tables are located outside and, due to the high position of that part of the street, on an elevation with a good view of a part of the city. Normal staff who can help you with an order. But the condition of the bathroom was very disappointing(the floor with puddles, the door handle of one of the cabins was almost broken, a broken seat mat). About the kitchen: I ordered one of the special dishes (seemingly thick big toast bread with tuna and omelettes on it and vegetable salad as a side dish), my wife ordered fried fish with the same salad, and my mother - ice cream and coffee. They drank red and white wine and a craft beer for me. I tried everything except coffee and ice cream and everything was very tasty, so I liked the food and drinks, except one thing, the tuna was salted more than necessary.

Coffee was good. Food is interesting.... I ordered from the specials: mediterranean sea fish with tahini souce and salad. Would I come for seconds? Definitely not! Food was either over seasoned or bland. Dessert was just ok. Roladin didn't justify its reputation. Service same as food: some servers are attentive and some moseyltly ignore you. Tables are not cleaned between guests. New guests are being sitted when a table is vacated without being wiped clean. I've noticed this happening repeatedly with four different tables. (Yuck!) View is amazingly, but that's Jerusalem, not the place....

So salad I order with tuna has a hair, and then, we try eat some cheesecake which has a plastic on the side…. I would not recommend this place for visit.

This spot is excellent for brunch, breakfast or even a snack. They have savory croissant sandwiches and sweet ones too. The chocolate one is probably the best I had in my life. The pistachio cream one was excellent as well! The space is kind of tight, but it’s worth pushing through!

Not my first time at this specific patisserie, This time was beyond expectations 🤬 Unpleasant staff. Restrooms were out of order, and I was sent across the street to a place that didn’t even exist. Very disappointing – after coffee and a croissant, restrooms are the most important thing in a café.

We ordered a large Mille-feuille cake for my daughter's bat mitzvah. It was beautiful and incredibly tasty!

This place is unique! Maybe you saw the 2 brothers in the social media doing some recipes but they are pros!!! Really excellent bakery and patisserie. It was one of the best croissants that I had in the country! For sure I will come again

YUM does not do this place justice. Everything looks and smelled amazing. High quality, fresh ingredients. Sandwiches, salad, quiche, pasta, breads, cookies, macaroons- but the croissants are the real swoon factor. Pistachio, chocolate caramel, nougat, strawberry custard, vanilla glazed- everything from your wildest French dreams. I hate Israeli ice coffee- theirs was off the hook. Didn’t find the pastries too sweet either- perfectly flakey, buttery and soft. The staff was busy and could have been a little nicer/more attentive- minus one star for the service but absolutely worth every penny, every bite. Mmmmm

The strawberry croissant was as fabulous as it ought to be for the price. Fresh strawberries and delicious creme patisserie sandwiched within a magnificently laminated croissant that would make Paul Hollywood proud. With this location, you're paying for the people watching experience as much as the food. Enjoy!

Maybe it wasn't their day. We intentionally came here, beside very pretty coffee nothing was good: bourekas with egg and cheese was very cold inside and doughy, croissant with cream pattisier was tasteless, same with other pastries. Left disappointed.

Great place for cakes, and on Fridays they also have Challa. They also have extremely fancy cakes for special occasions, but many of the best ones are rarely on display (you should ask!). The also do platters: fruit, cookies, cakes and chocolate truffles (all a bit expensive though)

We always seem to come here on eruv Shabbat when it's a balagan, but the challah and pastries are yummy, and if you ask they will show you the gluten-free desserts, which are just as good! The line is seemingly always long, but with 3 or 4 registers going with smiling, friendly people, it works out fine!

Fair to average. Not a huge fan of the food but I found a new mint and litchi flavoured water there which made it worthwhile

Very Very disappointed. Spent nearly NIS 100 on 3 Pesach Cakes, they were inedible and ended up in the bin. Hard, dry and tasteless. The 8 Shekel alternative from Osem, bought in the supermarket, I am sorry to say, was 100 times better. .

Fixed rich variety to choose from. When you get used to the store, you know exactly what to expect! Each and every cake is delicious! The hosts (attendants) are warmly courteous.

Excellent food, good vibe, lovely people. I need to come back soon to try all dishes from the menu :D The menu is not updated online but I still got the lovely soft polenta. The black truffle oil is super aromatic and goes well with the mushroom. The polenta itself is creamy and fluffy, yet not heavy at all. For the main, the fish filet came as two pieces of sea bass with surprisingly beautiful crispy skin :> The agnolotti is perfectly made and cooked, and I very much enjoyed the thick pinched slightly chewy parts. I was warned about the sourness of lemon butter, but as someone who eats lemon and drinks vinegar, I loved how it lightened the fatty fish and fatty. The roasted garlic clove is sweet and melts in mouth. I don’t usually touch garlics but I couldn’t resist finishing that one. The Spanish songs in the background is lovely and relaxing. The wine list looks impressive. The staff are super friendly and attentive.

We visited this establishment in Jerusalem for breakfast, and were shocked by how poorly we were treated. Despite at least eight empty tables in full view, we were told there was no available seating and were denied breakfast service. The reason given didn’t make any sense — and frankly, it felt like unjustified discrimination. It’s incredibly disappointing when a venue treats paying guests this way: having empty tables yet refusing to seat people is unacceptable. The policy is baffling and makes one wonder if some guests are being unfairly treated compared to others. We expected fair and courteous service, but instead we left feeling unwelcome. Could you please clarify where we can submit a formal complaint about this incident?

TL;DR Great food in a small but very nice place It's located on the street level of the Jerusalem theater. It took us some time to find it since the google maps announced we were there when we stood on the theater plaza which is the restaurant roof. The place is small with just a few tables but it offers a nice warm  space to dine in, not crowded or noisy so you can enjoy the excellent food that is served there. We got a table of 8 for a late lunch and took all you can eat/drink when they just get several firsts and mains out of the menu and you can order more of what you like. We liked them all. The food was really good there, the wine was also good and with good company it turned out to be a perfect event. We got Appetizers: - Polenta - Green salad - Za'atar coated calamari - Asparagus - Tomatoes in garlic - Shrimps - Pate en croute - Some mushroom dish Mains: -  Beef cuts -  Risotto - Sous vide chicken breast - Some other but I don't remember Desserts: - Lemon cake - Almond cake - Ice cream Everything was really good. I especially liked - Pate en croute - Beef cuts - Lemon cake Price was really good for the food we got. Parking is hard to find on the surrounding streets - we had to park a few min walk that is less present in the Jerusalem winter even with the hot sangria we got on the way out.

Finally we have something good to eat at The Jerusalem Theater! Good service, clean, cozy, spacious and most important - delicious!!! My personal suggestion - good Aperol Spritz would be just perfect at sunny afternoon (you should add it to the menu)

We love this restaurant, one of our favorites in Jerusalem for any special occasion. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, not too loud and not over crowded. The food is very good, I dont think we ever disappointed from a dish here. The pastas are homemade and they ate terrific. The sea food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Tastes are delicate but rich and combining very well. They have a nice wine selection. The only problem with this restaurant is the parking. Not a lot of parking available near by, especially when there's an event in the nearby theatre. Luckily on Fridays and Sauterday this is not a problem at all.

High quality food and very nice decoration and atmosphere The location is also great - situated underneath the entrance plateau to the Jerusalem theater. Prices are not that steep. Only issue was the service which was incredibly slow and they forgot some of our orders (bit they did provide them free of charge as it was their fault)

Local Jerusalem Gem. Meant for locals and discerning tourists looking for a quiet spot. Breakfast is well served and prepared with many amazing flavors. Coffee is Very good too. Highly recommended , but don’t give this special restaurant away too quickly. The atmosphere is perfect. I don’t want to ruin it by attracting random loud tourists. Service was excellent! We’ve ordered a breakfast for two but shared it for 3 people, because the portions are rather generous. Various toppings and dips to eat with bread are nice, and it was a good experience overall, but some of the dips just too spicy, and some things included to this breakfast are strange, as, for example, sweet potato, which was cold and not really tasty, and omelette wasn’t fluffy. The tea I’ve ordered (chai) wasn’t flavored enough

This great spot in the heart of Jerusalem is always lively and full of energy. They serve fresh, flavorful salads with complimentary bread and dips. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience you don’t really find anywhere else in the city — I’d definitely come back!

Lovely ambience, great service, beautifully presented & very tasty salads. My husband & I both enjoyed the best coffee , cappuccino & double espresso we have ever enjoyed. Dessert was a scrumptious Lemon/raspberry tart. Highly recommend Nadi Cafe! Will definitely be back here soon!

This review is specifically for the Emek Refaim branch. Small cafe but really pleasant place. Not a lot of choices on the menu but everything is served beautifully. The cheese cake is AMAZING. The staff is super pleasant and efficient without being pushy. An excellent place in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite brunches of our entire trip. The platters with the sauces are where this place shines. There are many types so be sure to choose wisely. I wouldn't choose the green shakshuka - I thought it would have more sauce. The apple chutney, olive tapenade and sun-dried tomato dips were all awesome.

The three of us had breakfast. We liked the presentation of the food. The coffee was delicious. The sweets were very tasty.

I came with expectations and was disappointed, the service was at a low standard, we ordered breakfast and a jug of water. The table next to me that ordered 5 min after me were given water I had to remind 2 servers that we were still waiting and the table next to me were also served before us, in fact 3 other tables that came after us received there orders before us. We were served our hot drinks and 20 min later the breakfast. The 1st notable thing was the servers finger in the cream cheese. The bread came on later after a friendly reminder and the butter my son went himself to get. The hot drinks were good but that's about all.

I really enjoyed my food. The issue was the food appeared sporadically so that by the time one was finished their meal another hadn't received theirs. Yes, we were a table of 7 but that shouldn't have impacted the speed too much. Overall, I'd give it another try because the food was tasty. I'd avoid if you aren't into fancy foodie type food like blueberry jam and gravelax. But, if you are into that type of food, give it a try!

Place seems to be going down hill or it was a really off night. Cake was dried out, Chai latte was overly sweet, service was incredibly slow. We ordered a cake and 2 hot drinks and it took like 25 minutes to be served. I'll prob try it one more time cause they usually have good cakes but idk.

Great place for takeout coffee and pastries (they also have dine in, but we didn't try that). If you want coffee to go, this is more civilized than Aroma, but they actually want the takeout business, unlike some nearby cafes that do it as an accommodation but aren't really set up for to go orders. It was a beautiful afternoon in Jerusalem! With many places closed for Pesach, we were pleased to find this darling cafe. Only waited 5 minutes for an outdoor table, warmed by the sun. Staff friendly, kind, and helpful. Shared vegan antipasto and Bezalel salad with cheese on side for my dairy eating sister and avocado for me! We had coffee (which was very good), and I tried a croissant and pecan pie. Both were tasty, and the atmosphere was chill.

Breakfast,service and atmosphere top!!!! Best place we tried yet for breakfast&Coffee, absolutely delicious! The waiter speaks perfectly english and they have a nice terrace to enjoy outside.

Don't worry if the place is full, it took only few minutes till we got our table. The food is very good and price is average. The cold coffee is excellent. For food, we recommend taking a salad (we took the Panzanella פנצנלה). The salmon bagel is also very good. The shakshuka is good, but a bit salty.

Went looking for an open cafe on shabbat and stumbled upon this gem in an alley. Liked the coffee but where impressed by the bruschetta we got! Massive portion and extremely delicious. The service was nice and the atmosphere hip and modern. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent coffee. Service is fast. Very little room inside, plenty of tables outside-a great place to have business meetings or to just chill and enjoy the pedestrian street with no cars around. Decent prices to pretty good food.

Overall very pleasant breakfast. The salmon in my “Norwegian brioche” was too salty, but all the rest (inc the hollandaise source) were good.

Very cute place. There is no much room inside, may be 4-5 small tables and bar at the shop front, also 3 tables outside. Decent variety of coffee and cold drinks based on coffee. The prices are high. Service can take some time, cause the place is pretty popular, but if you interested in takeaway, it may short your waiting time.

Cozy place! Coffee was good, out of chocolate croissant 🥐 on a Friday noon so kind of understandable! Very good stop for refreshing while touring around the German Colony and it's surroundings.

What a cute little place. Nice mixed crowd, anglo-friendly. When i was there, the staff was attentive and kind. I will return there for sure when i am in Jerusalem. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Nice indoor decoration. Vegan options available. Kosher.

I’m a coffee drinker but no big expert, but this place looks the part. You can taste from dozens of roasts and buy some ground coffee and the wares, and they are also laptop friendly although it looks like you have to get there early to find a spot and outlet. Sandwich was also ok.

While the decor hasn't been redone since the place opened, the place retains a certain homely charm, though things definitely could be cleaner... Coffee's good but pricey, service could easily be more attentive, especially considering how small the place is. Sandwiches are good value.

I got a small sugar-free coffee icecream (dairy) which was actually decent and not too artificial tasting, but absolutely way too expensive for how much you get... around $6 for a tiny scoop. So basically a scam. The other dissapointment was the ice coffee- an absolute waste of money. It was disgusting- tasted like consuming polluted air, and had to be thrown out. In fact, *after* we had purchased, the worker told us that we probably won't like the ice coffee, and they get a lot of complaints of how its really bad. So overall, would not recommend.

The Milkshake (You can choose the flavour from the Ice Cream flavours available), White Macadamia Cookie and Hershey and Cornflakes Ice Creams were all decent. The staff who was alone was able to handle the orders quickly!

Fast friendly service. I had the delicious vegan chocolate ice cream in a sugar cone with sprinkles. Elegantly presented with a small wafer and hazelnut on top. Generous single scoop at a reasonable price.

Absolutely love this place. Located near the Mahane Yehuda market, the place offers ice cream, cookies and churros. I particularly liked their churros. The staff is super helpful and kind. The atmosphere is amazing and there’s places to sit on the street. There are countless amazing places in the market, Cookie Cream is one of them for sure! I warmly recommend!

At the bustling downtown Jerusalem branch on Hahistadrut Street, you’ll find an array of sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches, drinks, salads and other tasty treats, courteous service, plenty of seating and friendly Jerusalem atmosphere.

Something must face fine seriously wrong because the cookies and donuts I bought were irredeemably bad. I don't understand why this place has the reputation it does. Waste of such a central location.

It's okay for snacks, like cream puffs, focaccia, ruggelach, mini cinnamon rolls and cheese danishes, garlic bread sticks, sambosak, and so on. It's cheap, and they'll heat your purchase for you. It's definitely not fancy, but I bought a bunch of little things for my daughter, and she liked each of them. There are better places, but they generally cost more. This is a Kosher restaurant located inside a well known "Takeout" establishment. The food is terrific, fresh and inexpensive. We had a whole chicken meal for two for under $10 US. They also have catering halls upstairs which we have successfully used in the past. We ate sesame chicken, 3 types of schnitzel, spaghetti, and my wife had Musaka.

I've been frequenting Burekas Ima for many many years; it is an old institution located in the middle of Baka in Jerusalem and a must stop for every foody that lives in the neighborhood. This is the best place for enjoyment of real, fresh and delicious bread, and of course Burekas. An amazing array of freshly cooked on site bakes are available. From the outside, it looks a small store, but when entering, it is a quite big bakery place with a lot of varieties. Highly addictive and recommend place to go. A lot of people come on Thursday and Friday to buy the famous chala that is made for Shabbat. Regarding the Parking, during the day the location is pretty crowded as it is very central and close to Domino's pizza and other stores, so it is challenging to find a place to park. In the afternoon and evenings it is easier to find a parking slot. Finally, service. people are very nice. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite stores, certainly of its kind. I often go on Friday mornings, when there is a huge demand for baked goods, and even when the store is crowded, it's so well organized that there's no pushing or shoving, and you can get in and out quickly enough. I was with my toddler and I sat down for a moment to give him rugalach and she proceeded yell at me “ that’s why I asked if you want to take away!“ and she gave me an attitude for sitting down for just a second. Do yourself a favor and give your business to elsewhere nicer and welcoming to their customers. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life after paying for goods in a store. I will never come back to this discriminating place.

I live in the neighborhood and usually buy just the little pastries here. The pastries are usually fresh and delicious. There is one worker at the checkout counter who is very rude. This worker seems to always be angry and does not have a pleasant demeanor. I had an amazing experience at Napoleon Café in Jerusalem. Their éclairs and Napoleon cake are probably the best I have ever tried in my life — so fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, with plenty of seating and not too crowded. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet coffee break. The baristas also speak English, which made everything even easier. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Visited the place with friends for breakfast; first disappointment came when not all the items included in the menu were available (neither pancakes and nor waffles). The second disappointment came with the Israel breakfast: very standard taste for 60 Nis!! The third disappointment was the poor service. Just before we left and after we had asked a couple of times we finally got the croissant etc that was part of the breakfast. The Greek "spanakopita" costs 62 Nis while near by you can get a home made one with 26 Nis!! Just to note that we were the only customers at that time. Beautiful shop per se. They took over after Yoël's Gourmandise left, and now remade it as a bakery. Basically, very commercial products, albeit of fair quality. However, the baked goods were at least mostly not "home baked" especially as they bring in Teller bread, the pasteries didn't seem as fresh as places like La Patisserie. For instance, the pain au chocolat wasn't moist inside nor buttery and was "meh", albeit better than the average Israeli bakery. They have a huge Nespresso coffee machine but it's entirely machine work even the milk, no barista skill required/used - a bit of a shame. The coffee itself tasted fine but the frothed milk lacked texture. Overall, they're much more commercialised when in comparison to its former gourmandise de Yoël. Yoël set very high, proper French standards that are hard to beat if the next shop also purports to be French (he still cooks to order and for functions, see his Facebook page). I would go there if I need something quick, and for the nice and clean seating interface, but not because of the food. That being said, they seem to be fixing the restaurant side of the boulangerie and perhaps my review will change accordingly. I believe the guy behind is a smart person, and let's see what happens.

You can stay as long as you like and have a work team meeting in the side room with no one to rush or bother you. I enjoyed my omelet and salad. Not the best coffee.
