It is sad to see this place loose its dignity. I gave it a try this morning with the hopes that it would feel different but the dishonesty was prevalent. I was not over charged but it felt wrong to hand me my food with unclean hands. Lastly, the kids did not like what I brought which seals the deal for me. Sorry.

Place is located next to the Clock Tower. Tourists are everywhere so the price is quite high. Pastries are mostly fresh, but not everything tastes super good. Close to the beach, promenade and old city all around you. Open even late in the evening.

Not good - I went here after reading a few blogs that recommended it but I should have checked the reviews first. I got a pistachio croissant because it looked pretty but unfortunately the flavor didn’t match the appearance. The bread was stale and the pistachio cream didn’t have any flavor. :(

Holy mother of Bakery! A friend who used to go here with his parents as a little child guided me here for a big girl bakery experience. I was here at 7 am (they seem to be open 24 hours) and had it all to myself. The guys were grumpy and I would be too if I had the late shift but the food was incredible. My mouth is watering and I wish I wasn't miles away!

It is expensive! $5 for a single pastry is a lot. Yet, it is fresh, hot and tasty good. They are very kind and will explain whatever you ask. We took the pizza samboosaq and the potatoes one. Was perfect to start the day with

A Jaffa institution. Full of a huge selection of pastries and treats that are baked fresh in their brick ovens. I love their sambousaks and their donuts but in my opinion, they have the best toasts in the city!

The best bakery in Tel Aviv! Great flavors and great stuff but very pricey and gets very busy on the weekend. Make sure to try the Almond Croissant. Open 24 hours during weekdays and closed on the weekend since the place is Kosher

The service is great and very fast. It’s a really nice place to come with the laptop. The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious. The salads can do better. I definitely will return.

I love Lehamim. It's a wonderful bakery that is working around the clock on weekdays. On weekends it is closed. On Friday it has relatively long lines, but they take minutes to clear. The verity is usually good, but if you want something specific make sure to call and reserve it because things run out. Highly recommended.

Truly my favorite bakery both in NYC and TLV. Fantastic selection of pies and pastries of you're in a pinch, and of course great place to have a snack.

This was my favorite food experience in Tel Aviv. Hands down the best hummus in this city. A way to tell if a spot is good is if there’s a queue. Since I’m a solo diner I went in and got seated very fast but with 3 other random gentlemen and it was quite fun because they didn’t speak English so I just got to observe them. How I wish I could understand their conversation. The owners are running around and you can see the hustle and bustle. One can tell this is a family run business. They take your order really fast you have the option of non spicy, spicy, or mixed hummus. I picked the mix with egg topping as it’s the most popular. It’s paired with bread and some sour pickle dressing and raw Onions. It’s clearly the Old school way of eating it by cleansing your palate with raw onions. The 3 men at my table were eating it raw and I was just thinking to myself maybe there’s mint offered afterwards? Nonetheless, the mixed hummus plate was Exceptional paired with my bread. Such humble and simple recipe yet so filling and delicious. The owners allowed me to even go in the back and video the process. I couldn’t have been more grateful to the food and the experience. This is an absolute must try in Tel Aviv

I've been coming here for decades! The taste and quality of the food didn't change. Fresh and tasty. To the point you cannot hold yourself from ordering seconds. The service is welcoming, friendly and extremely effective service, even at the busiest time. My favorite place among many that I've been to, across multiple countries and food types.

As a hummus lover, this place did not disappoint. In fact, it served a fresh, light hummus that left me wanting more. This place is pretty hyped and I'm happy to say that it lived up to my expectations. While it's famous for it's whole chickpea hummus, musabaha, the regular hummus was the winner to me. But because both were tasty, I think we are all winners as long as we go here to eat. Because I just couldn't get enough, I also tried one of their other locations, and I'm happy to say that they were just as tasty and served eggs too, something that wasn't on offer in this place, which is the original location. Sidenote: A friend's mom used to eat here when she was a kid in Israel and was surprised it still existed.

The Best Hummus in Town! No wait at all and got a table immediately. Try their regular and their spicy hummus! Service is really quick and their quantity is good. For two people, get one and share and you should be set! Very filling and healthy!

Delicious hummus! Very simple to order, you only have 3 options to choose from. Hummus is really fresh, bread is also good. One of the best Hummus spots in the world hands down! I totally recommend the Massabacha dish with the spicy-lemony-garlicy sauce that comes along with it. Another very popular choice is the Meshulash dish that contains regular Hummus, Massabacha and Fuul (Fava beans) all in one dish. The only improvement that I can recommend is the pita's.. they should be warm and fresher.

Funky kosher dairy menu. Not the usual boring fare. Variety of breakfast options through the day. I enjoyed my quesadillas. My wife had a solid smoked salmon bagel. Beverages were imaginative and great for summer. My espresso tonic was very good. Great vibe. Busy. Sits on the route for the light rail which meant that it was noisy.

Loved the place, very accommodating staff and delicious kosher food. I had their special of the week: eggs on beer bread with a beet spread and cabbage topping. The vibe is inclusive and the menu is super original. Definitely will be heading back! Recommend going before 11am bc it got packed after like 11:30.

Possibly the worst coffee I’ve had in my life. At first I was disappointed by the small portion. But after my first sip I was glad that I didn’t receive more of this sub par beverage. It was terribly bitter and sour. I went with a good friend and she described her coffee as “literally just trash.” As far as food is concerned, the menu is quite small, which could be seen as a good thing. I ordered the egg and cheese bagel which was fine. Nothing incredible and nothing bad. It was a very small portion with only a single egg and toppings that slide all over the place. I also noticed that most of the tables around me received their orders wrong and received excuses from the wait staff. To summarize, I left Cafe Xoho (what is that name?) rather disappointed and disturbed. It certainly is a very busy and trendy establishment but I don’t understand how my fellow restaurant goers enjoyed their experience. While they drank the liquid that drips out of Tel Aviv air conditioner units that Cafe Xoho is selling off as Lattes and Espresso, I asked my table mate how it is that everyone else seems to be relatively enjoying their meals? At the table next to me, a young American frat type boy commented that it was the best bagel he ever ate. What? Poor boy, are you ok? Are you being starved? Have you being living on the diet of a squirrel or small bird, seeds and nuts? Blink twice if you need help. Of course I understood everything when I saw his hat, a Boston Red Sox SnapBack. Spare his soul for he know not of the might of the pinstripes of our great Yankees, hailing from the new city of York at the head of the Hudson! In short, I would not recommend.

The staff here clearly don’t care about their customers. I placed an order and specifically asked to remove a few items, but they ignored my request. When I complained, they replaced it — with the exact same mistake. After complaining again, nothing changed. On top of that, they automatically added a tip, as if we’re in the U.S. In Israel, tipping is up to the customer — and trust me, this place doesn’t deserve a single shekel with such poor service. What a shame. If you’re visiting Israel or just looking for a café, avoid this location at all costs. There are plenty of better places nearby that actually respect their customers. Also, the prices here are outrageously high compared to other cafés in the area.

Every morning in Tel Aviv, my wife and I follow the same ritual: coffee at Xoho, on Ben Yehuda Street. Our anchor point, our little piece of order in the chaos. Xoho has two zones — smoking and non-smoking. I smoke, so our choice is obvious. This morning, three empty tables. One in part sun with a single chair; two in the shade, still cluttered with empty cups and crumbs. No one around — just the remains of other people’s breakfasts. As usual, I sit at one of the shaded tables and wait (don’t ask, just wait) for someone to clear it. A waitress approaches. She tells me the table hasn’t been cleaned yet and suggests — no, politely orders — me to sit at the sunny table instead. “I’d rather stay here,” I say. “I can wait. Take your time.” “It’s not a suggestion,” she says. “I demand.” Fine. I get up, waiting for her to clear it. She starts moving around, wiping every table except mine — a perfect little ballet of passive aggression. Then another waitress passes by. I ask, “Excuse me, may I sit here?” “Of course!” she says, smiling, and immediately clears the table for me. I sit down, relieved. Naturally, the first waitress reappears. “See the difference between you and your colleague?” I tell her. “She hurried to help me. You’ve been rude.” She calls me ridiculous. I tell her she’s been horrible. The tone rises a bit, but nothing dramatic. Then the manager appears, serious and defensive. “You can’t speak to my staff like that,” he says. I explain what happened. He doesn’t care. He demands that I apologize. “No,” I reply. “If anyone should apologize, it’s her.” He asks me to leave. Which I do — calmly. If I were him, I’d probably have done the same, out of principle. Still, I can’t help thinking that waitress chose the wrong job. One day, Xoho will figure it out. Pity — it used to be my favorite café.

Oat and almond-rice milk available, which is fantastic for us :))

Delicious place for a gluten free, vegetarian or dairy free options. The place is quiet and nice with a self service concept. You order in the front counter and you pick up in the bar. All of their options are delicious and healthy from main courses to beverages. Pick from different milk alternatives and be clear if you want the GF or totally vegan options. Recommended for breakfast at anytime. I had pancakes and bagels at 3 pm.

The food is great, but why are all the indoor tables with AC taken by people with laptops??? You’re supposed to eat out in the scorching heat while one person takes up a whole table and sips a single coffee for three hours.

The service was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the food though: it was pretty mediocre and there were several incidents such as a hair in the water or egg shell fragments on the boiled egg. The atmosphere is pretty nice so I'd recommend going there to meet friends. Don't come especially for the food.

Fantastic Deli located in busy area of the city, it’s a beautiful and clean place, 2 floors and also you can seat outside. the food is very good, there are a wide range of options and again everything looks very fresh. there is a possibility to buy different products in the delicatessen and to take home. 👍

I love the place! You can find different option of food to take home, plus they sell a good variety of breads, cheeses, olives wines, desserts, salads, flowers, etc. Service is good. The place is small.

Great hidden specialty place with awesome Feinkost/Delikatessen/Épicerie Fine style treats. Not just a delicacy store but also a whole restaurant over 2 floors. The brunch was amazing and the desserts too. I highly recommend the bacon addition if that's your thing. You won't be disappointed. And the millefeuille ! Prices are totally OK and service is great. As always beware of crowded Friday mornings but you can book online in advance.

One of my favorite cafes in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is one of the best too find in town and so consistent. One of the best coffees that can be found. Desserts are a hit or miss but the food is excellent!

The most expensive sandwich, the Bacon Egg and Cheese. It’s a fine sandwich, but for almost $20 (Basically 3 times the price of the USA) the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. The bagel is good. Little bit of cheese and the bit there is is pre melted and crispy. With only 2 pieces of soggy bacon and a fried egg. Genuinely trying to figure out why it costs this much. I would recommend get something else or just make it at home. I would be more willing to just quietly pay if it looked more like the photo lol.

What a great place in the heart of Tel-Aviv!! You can sit outside and do some people watching, or inside to escape the heat, or in the back patio if you want to smoke after your meal. Great and friendly staff, that was quick and not pushy. The bagels looked so good, so I had to try it and ordered a roast beef bagel. Slices of beef, slaw and a spicy mustard, on a bagel. Great sandwich! Could use some more beef, but the flavor combo, which is not new, was done correctly and it was delicious. Also had a Nola breakfast. Two eggs, salad, hash browns, cream cheese, avocado, and a bagel. The portion was generous and everything was good. Except for the hash brown. It was probably made in a large batch and than they cut and reheat the portion on a griddle. At least that's how it tastes. It was too dense and didn't have those classic pointy potato ends that crisp up when you fry it. I also got a Nola cocktail, with OJ, whiskey and honey. It was pretty good. Definitely a nice change from the classic mimosa or bloody Mary for breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back here for brunch, or lunch, or anytime of the day.

We really liked the atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, fast and professional. The food is extremely good, and you should definitely have a look at their patisserie before you blindly order something. .. For us this place was a wonderful start into the day.

When I think about a good breakfast in Tel Aviv, Nola is always the first option! The quality of the food is amazing, everything is always fresh, their coffee is super delicious and desserts are definitely a must try! The service is quick even though the place is almost always packed. Love this place! ❤️

Truly well done American style breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits! The bacon is actually well cooked and crispy. My wife had the hashbrowns which were also tasty but not exactly what I would expect. The desserts are the real reason to come to NOLA. We had the mud pie which was absolutely amazing.

Edit 2022 - stopped by once again for some pastries. I’m in love. All in all a very nice place, great get ice and tasty food - been here a few times mainly for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Try the scones they are lovely!!

Just wow. Best rugelach I’ve ever had. I was trying to be good and bought only that and an iced latte. The rest of the desserts and sandwiches looked delicious and picturesqly perfect. Chic and charming, there’s only outdoor seating with fans, in a cozy patio of a small side street, across a huge bougainvillea tree. Highly recommend and worth the hype! Oh and there’s outlets!

One of the best bakeries in Israel. They offer great breakfast menu for take out, having the best outdoor places to be nearby (Susan Dallal or the beach), they also offer a picnic basket in weekdays (needs reservation) Try their famous croissant bagel (with or without cheese)

We paid 140 shekels for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. One was a bagel with the fish, the bagel was a few days old, like a stone. The fish was also not the freshest. Another sandwich was also not tasty, with cheese, pear and Chilli sauce. I had to throw everything. Old, bad tastes. Coffee was very middle, weak. Nice mirror and interior, though. Having lived in Israel for 7 years, I have never eaten such a bad old bagel here.

Everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. I was attracted to all the twisty things here. Not shown were small rectangular puff pastries with cheese inside and sesame seeds on the outside. So good!

I visited Dalal Bakery in Tel Aviv and had an amazing experience. The vanilla cube was absolutely delicious — perfectly light, flavorful, and so fresh. I also ordered an Americano, and it was a real, high-quality coffee, not watered down like in many places. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Wonderful bakery in the picturesque Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Had this poppy seed and apple tart, which was delicious. Not too pricey, and lovely to sit and enjoy the place. Highly recommended!

The best bakery in Tel Aviv, everything is delicious but the Raspberry Danish is beyond divine. Try their iced coffee with it to balance out the sweetness.

The food and the drinks taste amazing, although are much pricier than most places in tel aviv. I paid around 70 shekels for two pastries and one coffee. The atmosphere is great and welcoming as are most of the staff. I had only one unfortunate incident where I asked for a pastry with a particular topping out of the few that they had and they gave me the wrong one. I came back to the counter to ask them for the one that I ordered and paid for and the person working there insisted that it's all the same inside anyway and it doesn't matter instead of just changing it to what i asked for in the first place🫤. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have ordered a particular one.

Disappointed... After all of the hype and great reviews that I read I was truly disappointed. I am new to the neighborhood and was excited that they were just a three minute walk from my apartment. I wish I had taken pictures of the three pastries that I bought to share them with my thoughts on each one. First of all, everything tasted and had the textures that they were day old and not fresh (I was there at 8:30 in the morning). I love Almond Croissants and with this one it was only the sliced almonds on top that had any similarty to an Almond Croissant. It was bland and had no type of filling. Then there was a pastry that looked like a miniature/single serving of a chocolate bobka. It had a bitter, not sweet taste. The third one was the only one that was tasty and seemed to be fresh. Unfortunately that is the only one that I have no idea how to describe since I never had anything like it. It was a square that had four sections on top. I think that the guy behind the counter said it was a butter pastry. My Hebrew is not up to par and the two young employees did not speak much English (which I am now living in Israel and am slowly learning). I thought of giving Milk Bakery a one star rating but this last pastry is what made it a two. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Really nice bakery. Very hip, can get crowded, but with a decent amount of places around to rest while you drink your coffee. Coffee is really good and so are the pastries.

I came here for a lunch to have a sandwich and something sweet. Unfortunately, at 13:00, almost everything was sold, just few sandwiches left that looked quite sad and no interesting pastries. I ordered a salmon sandwich, profiterole with vanilla cream and American coffee. Everything was good, not woow, coffee too watery for my taste. Girl told me to come either in the morning or on Friday, then they have amazing stuff. Maybe I will and then I'll update my review. There is no inside sitting, so in summer it is could be too hot to sit outside.

From the way they answered the phone to the fact they were still open beyond the hours advertised to the friendly laidback barista to the excellent coffee to the delicious baked goods - this place is a treat.

That place isn’t what it was at the beginning when they opened. There are now 2 places. The food quality became really average, really bad coffee, and service same level as the food. It went from a really fine boulangerie to an average one. Just the fact that they reheated my Pain au Chocolat was a bad sign. Not recommended!

Might have been my fault for ordering a cheese cake at a boulangerie, which was tasty for a home made one, but not a professional cake. The coffee was horrendous. Maybe the other baked goods are better, but I wouldn't know.

Arrived at noon for a big line with only one cashier to serve them all (while many other workers couldn't seem to help). I bought 3 different pastries to try. The best one (croissant cube with creme patissiere and fruits), was just ok. The butter croissant and chocolate danish were way too dry and disappointing. Can't believe they were baked on that day. 3 stars seem a bit generous at the moment, compared to the hype this place got. Might give them a second chance in the future, but was really disappointed by the poor quality.

Few of the pastries look much better than its taste. Prices are fair, taking into account its location and other boluageries in Tel-aviv.

The Urban Bakery is very nice to look at: the pastries are of high quality, well made (👍). However: it's been a few times when we recieved not so fresh pastries (but still good looking and good tasting pastries, but weird texture). We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I love the vibe of this place, it's very friendly and relaxed plus you're surrounded by plants and trees 😀 The coffee is good, they have different alternatives to regular milk and loads of pastries and cakes. And if you have kids there is a nice playground right in front of it. Definitely coming back before I leave.

Overall, Urban Bakery was pretty good! I got a chocolate croissant and a donut with chocolate inside it. Both were very good, but not amazing. The quality was 4/5. The croissant could have been a bit crispier and fresher since it was soft when I bit into it. The donut was very rich with almost *too* much chocolate if that’s even possible. I would recommend trying if you’re in the area!

A nice cozy Cafe/Bakery with great coffee drinks and high quality pastries. The dough they use really makes the pastries special; though I came in around noon and I felt that they had dried up a bit. Try to ask for the freshest pastries they have.

Very Instagramy. Very sweet and overloaded with sugar goods. Was a bit disappointed from the cookies. But overall it does taste good. A bit overpriced in my opinion. Coffee is overpriced and shouldn’t be because it is quite normal. Best donut shop in Israel. Usually donuts in Israel are dry with cheap frosting but not in Showroom Bakehouse. Here they’re soft and taste like the ones you get overseas. A lot of different frostings and there’s cookies as well. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Cute and small bakery, we tried the double chocolate cookie which was rich and amazing, the baked pecan caramel danish which was super tasty and the creme patissiere cronut which was a bit too sweet for our taste. Second visit - Nutella banana pudding rocked and the rainbow sprinkles & whicte chocolate was a bit too greasy and sweet. Not bad at all!

I’ve been a regular here, but after my last visit I won’t be coming back. On a busy Friday morning I ordered a sandwich and a cold coffee (42₪). When my 2-year-old saw my coffee, she asked for a bit of milk. The staff gave me mixed answers - first I was told I needed to line up again to order, after lining up I was told that it wasn’t necessary, and finally the manager stepped in and charged 7₪ for a splash of milk. The rigid attitude and lack of basic customer care over something so small left a really bad impression. Unfortunately, that was my last time here 😔

What a wonderful bakery! I'm almost angry at myself for not finding this place until my last day in Tel-Aviv. First dinner visiting Israel here and I kinda expected more. Some of the dishes were good and some were not. Main server was great, but the people that were bringing out the drinks and food gave off a vibe that we owe them something. I would suggest to close the hole in the middle of the table as we were running out of room and open it when people order the ice buckets.

Middle eastern and Turkish cuisine with the great atmosphere of the market. Great food for a cocktail bar, perhaps a bit missing if you are looking for a full meal if you don’t like fish - it will be hard to find a significant entrée. But otherwise the food was yummy, service was fast and the place was fun!

We didn’t have a reservation but they managed to find us a spot at the bar which was great as we got to get some great recommendations from Michael the barman. We had a local craft beer and tried a few of the dishes. The hummus and eggplant dips were amazing! The chicken schwerma was delicious. And finally the chocolate nemesis was to die for 🤤 Not the cheapest place but we had a great experience and would go back!

We have recently dined at Onza and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to recommend dishes and provide great advice throughout the meal. The food itself was truly delicious, with standout dishes including the amazing eggplant starter and the fresh bread. I highly recommend trying the Seafood Hanina, it's definitely worth it. What's more, if you're an early bird, you can take advantage of the 30% off discount. All in all, my experience at Onza jn was superb and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and exceptional service.

Mashya is a fantastic place. When you arrive, you’re greeted with a beautiful stone facade welcoming smokers to leave the dining area free of ash trays and the like. Entering into the atrium, there is a sense of spaciousness, a luxury unattended to by Israel’s busy eateries. The place feels special and in some sub-conscious way, this makes the evening feel special. Israel bears a restaurant culture of its own, and here it’s customary for the staff to treat you as a friend. Sometimes this comes at the expense of actual service, but I prefer familiarity to stuffiness. Mashya’s team stands apart from the crowd. They manage to balance familiarity with a far more aloof quality in this scene: professionalism. Here, service coming from a “friend” with a side of a chaser doesn’t mean that you’re waiting fifteen minutes for someone to take an order. The food comes out at the right time, not while you’re eating your previous course and never after you’ve had to remind them of your order. Perhaps this standard is too low, but in a country which cherishes the absolutely mediocre “Shila” as fine dining, this standard feels appropriate. The food leaves little to be desired. The tasting menu is a true tasting, with at minimum 8 different bites, and a proper sequence of vegetables, raw fish, raw meat, bread, cooked fish, cooked meat, and sweets. Mashya takes the classic approach and mates it to a french-fusion menu that holds local sourcing in high regard. The dishes aren’t as adventurous as those in some of the country’s other leading restaurants (perhaps those by Yossi Shitrit or Avi Comforti), but they certainly match or surpass the creativity on display in the popular Machane Yehuda, the celebrity Jaffa Tel Aviv or the highly rated Animar. Where Mashya really shines is in the sauce. Beef tartares and sashimis are wonderfully fresh, but they could’ve remained nothing special, were it not for the phenomenal sauces. The execution matches the ambition and every dish is a success, a quality patrons long for in any restaurant run by the legendary comedian Eyal Shani. Overall, this is a superb spot for an upscale dinner, with a wonderful tasting of small plates that makes special occasions feel truly special. An easy 5/5.

I have visited this place several times a few years ago and was happy to return again. It has become a much larger place, taking over a few of the places next door. The design is still very hipster, 70s vibe, eclectic and lovely. Very popular among the tourists around the glee market. The food is also still very tasty, but they did raise the rates quite a bit and for some of the dishes I do think the value for money is not great.

What was once the only restaurant in the shuk hapishpeshim district remains a reigning Supreme restaurant with authentic bohemian vibes and European atmosphere. The waitstaff are very nice, the food is tasty and the mood is super chill. Started by my aunt with alot of heart and soul, the restaurant keeps my dear Pua's legacy alive with this unique and very special place. A "must visit and eat" location if/when you come to Yaffo.

Wow! Our dining experience was incredible. The ambiance is spectacular!! We came to celebrate our 25 anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitress explained us about the menu and then offered an option that she will select the dishes for us and it will cost us up to 440 ILS per person. We chose that option and did not regret it. This is in my opinion the most overpriced and underwhelming restaurant I have been to in Israel. The menu is amateur with repetitions of the same curry powder coconut milk and chilli powder in 4 of the dishes we had. It’s just lame and not creative. The white chocolate (you guessed it) and coconut dessert is seriously disgusting and we had to send it back. Service is ok, not bad or good. The server asked me how much I want to tip him as he held onto the debit machine- this is of course very polite and normal . I enjoy loudly stating the amount of extra money I want to give a server.

We came here for the Saturday lunch set menu and everything was absolutely delicious! Here are some dishes I really recommend: • Bean sheet salad • Fresh green salad • Butcher’s cut steak • Whole fried sea bass (served with fresh lettuce leaves, rice noodles, basil, cilantro, and three sauces – sour, spicy, and sweet. The sour one was my favorite!) • Butter chicken (a bit smaller in size but comes with rice, and the sour cream really elevates the flavors) My sea bass was definitely a highlight — you actually get to build your own wrap: take a lettuce leaf, fill it with noodles, herbs, fish, and dip it in the sauce of your choice. The bite was absolutely divine, a true flavor explosion! My partner really enjoyed the butter chicken, creamy and flavorful, and he highly recommends it as well. Overall, such a wonderful Saturday lunch experience - highly recommended!

The drinks were good. The waiters were nice, however everything took so long and I only got my dish while my family already finished half of their's. Also, my father received a cold steak and had it remade. The sits were comfortable but it was crowded and loud in there. For the price of the place, I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed. If you choose to go I recommend ordering a place before hand!

Don’t let the beautiful marina setting fool you, this restaurant is a complete waste of money. We went because it was recommended, but what a mistake. The service started off fine, but quickly turned dismissive. Simple requests like serving vegetables separately and lemon on the side were ignored. The fish was the only thing edible, fresh and nicely cooked. But everything else was an insult to the price they charge. The vegetables? Inedible. Raw broccoli and courgette, hard, tasteless, and thrown on the plate. When we complained, the server brushed it off with, “it’s meant to be like that,” and walked away. The pasta was even worse l, a tiny portion of overcooked, mushy spaghetti swimming in buttery tomato sauce. It was gone in two bites. We paid around $130 for a meal so bad we had to go to McDonald’s afterwards. To make matters worse, when we tipped 15% (more than they deserved), the server had the audacity to ask if that was all we wanted to give. Save yourself the disappointment and money. The marina is gorgeous, buy a sandwich, sit on a bench, and enjoy the view. You’ll thank yourself for not stepping foot in Marina Dallal.

Beautiful restaurant in the old neighborhood of Tel Aviv. A small courtyard leads to what must have been a family home. We didn’t have reservations but we were given two seats at the bar to enjoy dinner. The artisan bread is delicious. The portions are a bit small but very tasty.

Came for a Friday night dinner with a group of four. The food was mediocre and portions were small, especially considering the high prices. Service was especially poor — we were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time with no apology, and witnessed the shift manager speaking loudly to the hostess right in front of us. We had to ask three times for them to turn off the fan blowing directly above us, and three more times to get our water bottle refilled. One dish was mistakenly served twice and we sent it back. On a positive note, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and the atmosphere is excellent — elegant, warm, and inviting. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting.

Very nice air-conditioned market. Food variety were aplenty. Perfect place for a hot day to come for lunch/drinks and to do some quick shopping It is conveniently located to Tel Aviv’s train station, and there are major shopping malls nearby as well. Sarona Market is a cool place to visit in Tel Aviv. It is a covered market and a meeting hub full of food stores selling meats, cheeses, breads, alcohol and also small eateries with Israel food, Japanese cuisine, pizza, pasta and more. Little europe in middle of tel aviv. Nice place to hang out with various shops. You can have a drink on a bar, eat delicious deserts and many multiple choices of great street food - some pf them belong to chef restaurants. Must visit when you are exploring tlv. You can easily spend 2 -3 hours here.

A good place to dine and experience the food culture of israel and try a wide variety of foods. Like the idea that it's not a restaurant type but with the little food stalls selling their stuff. The price here are cheaper than most of the restaurant there. I like the chicken 🐔 shop that sell roast chicken to spicy wings. There is a seafood stall too and you can select your choice of seafood. There is A vegetarian food and dessert stall as well. Some of the pictures to wet your appetite.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are super friendly and the service is amazing. You can really tell they serve with heart — the portions are generous and the ice cream selection is fantastic. So many delicious flavors to choose from, and the prices are very fair. It's a great spot to sit and relax, both inside and outside. Ice cream is amazing to be honest! Pretty much the same store and flavors as Golda (though a bit more expensive). The nougat type flavors (white & dark chocolate with pistachio, as well as their banana and date flavor were awesome. Service is rather impersonal - try to have a look at that. Give it a go!

Cozy place, we came here for a breakfast. We sat in the court outside. You can also sit inside, where the place is well cooled. We had a spinach benedict esspresso and chocolate croassant. You will get also butter and bread to eggs. All was very tasty. Waitress was very kind. We are only 1 week here, but hope we will come again.

Food was amazing! Five stars. Pancakes were the best I've had. Fluffy but with a cake-like texture. Portions are huge. So much to choose from on the menu and everything tasted great. Service and servers were fine and did their jobs quickly, personably and efficiently. Top favorites: Corn ribs, Caesar salad, any pancake order, rosti. Love how they package take out pancakes.

We wanted to get some dessert in the evening. And what we got? Awesome pancakes and great espresso. The service was cool. And dear Mrs. Waitress: you were true, the pancakes went directly to the hips. Anyway: it was worth every bite. What you can see is a banana pancake.

So we ordered a lot of dishes, the zucchini starter was my favorite starter, though the eggplant one was pretty good too. The pasta was amazing, and the flank steak was delicious but the potatoes had way too much pepper. Overall the food was very good, very pricey but that was expected. HaBasta (“market stall” in Arabic) is a laid-back, creative Middle Eastern–Mediterranean restaurant tucked beside Shuk HaCarmel. We enjoyed every dish — the okra with fried grape leaves, the beet salad, and the roasted tomato ravioli were all excellent. The service was cordial, and watching the “who’s who” of Tel Aviv stroll in added to the fun, vibrant atmosphere. A great evening and highly recommended!

This is a cozy, unpretentious restaurant situated on a side street a stone's throw away from the bustling Carmel Market. The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, all of which are based on fresh, locally sourced products, with a strong emphasis on seafood. The crab bourekas that we tried was exceptional, whilst the rest of the dishes were very good. Prices are relatively high, but the place nonetheless offers good value for money.

I‘ve been to this restaurant many times and each time it is different and in a good way. The menu keeps changing according to the seasonal ingredients and is written each day by hand. All of the dishes are really special and something you probably won’t find in any other restaurant. Yes prices are high but welcome to Tel Aviv - this is the average price for a fine dining experience and in this place you get the value for money. Always very fresh and high quality food, a fantastic time to spend in the heart of the market. If you want good food with an Israeli twist - this is it.

There’s no such thing as a perfect mea- oh wait. This was absolute perfection. Everything served is fresh from the sea or the market next door, the menu changes according to season and weather, and every ingredient is allowed to truly shine. Some dishes are staples so are usually available, like the wonderful grilled calamari or the salted honey tart (which was indescribably good); others come on and off the menu, like the notorious crab bourekas which we didn’t get to try (sigh). Service was excellent and the alcohol menu is extensive and exciting. I would highly recommend to book a table in advance as the place is usually busy, and it’s definitely not the cheapest meal you’ll have in Tel Aviv. But I guarantee it’s worth it!

The atmosphere from the market is really nice and the food was excellent, although the portions were rather small for the price. The cocktails were pretty bland, I suggest you order wine from their large selection instead. Overall a great experience, but I'd expect lower prices for a place located in the market. This is not a fine dining restaurant as their name suggests.

Altogether, Bellboy Bar delivered a flawless 5-star visit. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all perfect, making this one of the best cocktail bar restaurants I’ve ever been to. Visited in early June thanks to the positive reviews, which I'm guessing in retrospect were more about the atmosphere than anything else. But if you're after cocktails in which you can actually sense the alcohol - not just the ice and assorted non-edibles - and food portions plentiful enough to justify the price, then either go elsewhere or come here for the 50% happy hour reductions (like we did).

Been a regular at Bellboy for years. Never disappoints. Cocktails? Amazing. Vibe? 1920s speakeasy done right. Love the hidden Butler Bar + Smoke Room. A great touch. Small menu but food is top-notch. My go-to is the golden liver pâté duck with pepper jam toasties. Service is always superb. Yes, seating can take a bit. But they hand you a bubbly on the house while you wait. Worth it. One of Tel Aviv’s true classics. An actual experience.

Eating in...good coffee, sandwiches, a good selection of salads. Maybe best of all, is the friendly, very helpful staff. Customer centered as you would wish other places would be, but aren't.

I had bulgur salad with olives, kohlorabi, feta cheese and cranberries. It was tart and sweet, not too heavy and very good. For desert I had a chocolate cheese cake with coffee. The portion was quite large and came with sour cream with a hint of orange. Again, very good. Would definitely visit again.

Awesome place. The espresso drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. So are their salads and sandwiches. The inside is charming, clean, air conditioned, and aesthetically pleasing. They also have wine etc. The inside is great for work working on your laptop, you can order something small and sit there for a long time, they don’t bother you. Outlets are plentiful, so that’s great also. For a more social vibey ambience, sit outside in the outside patio, which is always filled with people (even at night) and allows you to be part of the lively city center with other packed cafes around the square

They used to make good coffee..not anymore 😔 Cappuccinos look and taste like warm milk. 👎 When I told them I want to return the coffee they did offer to make me a new one, which was just as bad. Egg salad sandwich was good though.

We enjoyed a very nice happy hour at the Buti, with wonderful white wine, a great bruschetta trio and several tapas we chose from the deli. We sat outside with a view to the Dizengoff square, and it was lovely.

The previous bad experience I had due to one very rude worker turned into a nice habit of buying there coffee every morning. I highly recommend the chocolate croissants 🥐 (14₪), these are the best I found in Tel Aviv. The prices generally are expensive. The coffee is good, the only thing I don’t like is that the difference between a small and big cappuccino is that they just add hot water, so the coffee becomes very watery 😥 so rather order a small one and it’s fine. The workers there are overall very nice and friendly (apparently this rude person doesn’t work there anymore). Merci ❣️

Excellent food, this is the only place in Tel Aviv where French produced flour and butter are used though you can get authentic French flavors. Nevertheless, there's always a mess with a queue for ordering that can't be organized since the place is opened so clients feel confused. Other important from my point of view thing that guys working behind the counter are not event making attempt to smile. The job is done mechanically that makes you feel that you own them something. The food is great but the service could be more friendly.

The location is very cramped and those sitting in have a constant flow of people coming in and ordering moving and standing right next to them. One of the best bakeries in Tel Aviv and the second branch in Israel of the French artisanal boulangerie and patisserie chain. You can order a pick up online, do a quick take away or sit outside. There's normally a line at the door, but service is quick and efficient. There's a huge variety of pastries and breads to choose from and selecting something is the tough part. The Saint Honore cake is a must have, so don't miss it... 😋🥐

I ordered large cup(13 Nis) in takeaway and got American coffee in small capuchino cup. When I showed them the big cup, they told no it is for big capuchino that costs 15 nis. So what to do? Order another American coffee? So my morning coffee will cost 26 nis. It is crazy. When I asked them to make me an American coffee in a big cappuccino cup. First they refused and then they told me that they will do me a FAVOR. I don't need your favors. You don't play with people coffee. Disappointed and upset, there are so many good patisseries in Tel Aviv. They lost a client. Liked the place a lot. We came here on a Friday for lunch based on the high reviews. Bread was great, so for a bakery that's excellent. The Israeli breakfast was eh. Sitting to eat was chaotic, disorganized and stressful. I feel like they were understaffed. There was one chaotic line just waiting to sit down and another to order takeout. The bread was really good, but I don't think I would be back due to the chaos.

Pretty yummy and unique baked goods here. Sometimes the things they make just don't really taste like the original way they taste back in the US though, like the black and white cookie and the Boston cream donut. Still tasty in its own way, but not like the real authentic thing back home. I will keep trying all of their donuts and pies regardless since it's the closest thing I can find here to a real American bakery!

If one appreciates a little less noise and crowd I can advise to take a side street and find a cosy place to eat or drink.

We spent a night at the Drisco and we had a nice experience. The rooms are basic although the bathrooms are huge and well equipped. The balcony (we had one) is a waste of money... you are blocked by a tall building one side and by a huge Ficus tree on the other...no view at all. The staff was very welcoming and supportive and the overall vibe is excellent. The rooftop drink "happy hour" is nice gesture however the sunset is mostly blocked by (another) tall building.... Do note that the hotel does not offer a pool. I recommend strolling around the American Colony neighborhood, HaMesila Park and the old railroad station during afternoon/evening

Hands down an insanely well-balanced, tasty basque cheesecake that we absolutely loved, and a very good (but kinda empty or very lightly) filled blueberry mascarpone cruffin. Prices are TLV-ish ~ 50 shekel for both! Would definitely go again for their Basque cheesecake! (A note - Update your opening hours, literally visited 4 times to manage to get the place open)

I had a savory sweet potato and béchamel sauce pastry followed by a poppyseed crumble cake and both were excellent; the poppyseed cake was extremely moist with different textures in every bite thanks to the added prunes and chopped almonds. The coffee was excellent as well. Two reasons for the lost star: firstly, service. The person taking orders got mine wrong and I received a small rather than a large coffee; when I flagged this, they did nothing to assist. I had to order another coffee, and the barista was very unpleasant. Secondly, while I understand flaky pastries are best eaten fresh, the pistachio cruffin I got for takeaway had totally dried out by the time I ate it that same day. In short, I’d recommend this place for a coffee and a breakfast or a snack, but takeaway doesn’t hold up too well and be prepared for a line in the morning!

Evertything is freshly baked just across the counter in an open kitchen mouth drooling glass display. 🤤🥐🥖 Everything that I tried was really unique and super tasty, the Lemon Cruffin was just out of this world. Crispy dough on the outside and melting cream on the inside, wow! The Vanilla-nuts Garmoshka was heavenly as well. A perfect crispy brioche on the outside filled with yummy cream. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff... Alexander is located at the shop where Hanoi restaurant used to be and currently doesn't offer any outside seating - you can grab everything to go and go sit on a bench in Rothschild or in Neve Tsedek. There's a line, which currently takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the day and hour (I was there on a Friday), the selection of pastries also changes and sells out quickly, so if you are coming in especially, I would give them a call to see what they have.

After receiving a lot of recommendations on the place grabbed some coffee and pastries on my way to work and was happy I did so ☺️ I chose the lemon cruffin, the classic cheese cake, raspberry brioche and pecan cookie. Everything was wonderful and fresh, but surprisingly enough we especially enjoyed the “simple” pecan cookie which was heavenly. Try it!

Today was the first time in quite a while that we bought frozen yogurt and ice cream there. The frozen yogurt was very disappointing. They've changed its consistency and texture. Don't think I'll order that there again.

Legit ice cream shop in Givaatayim with a variety of flavors. Service is cute and they offer to try tastes before ordering. Next centeral location and big cones.

Good neighbourly ice cream joint. Plenty of flavours suggested and good quality of dairy and cream used. Pricing is reasonable.

Top icecream Gelateria. Probably best in RG Givatayim. Try the Apple pie flavoure, you won't regret.

My lemon cookies (לימונצינו) got badly tasting sesame seeds. It was almost moldy. Apart from that — a legit store. I’d say they tend to over-sweet the pastry. So it’s kinda less nuanced.

I’ve tried both locations of Zeit für Brot in Tel Aviv. The coffee is great, and all the pastries and cakes that I tried (over multiple visits) were really good. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the prices are a bit high, even considering the high quality of ingredients.

The best cinnamon roll I’ve ever tasted. The dough was soft and at the same time rich in taste, the coffee was okay. The place is small inside and there are not many places to sit, but the staff was quick and efficient.

Was very happy to run into this place by chance, the schnekes are awesome, also the mascarpone brioche was delicious. Coffee tasted good as well, the staff was a bit tired and miserable looking 🥲

Amazing bakery, everything was delicious. There's a large variety of bread. The only downside is the location, ill recommend take away or delivery service.

For an authentic food experience, made at a house, so no seating, take out only, the cook is the kindest most humble person! Soft and delicious jachnun , spicy hot sauce and a fresh tomato pure are such a great pairing. Order in advance, and finding the place is part of the fun 🤩

Cozy place with couple of tables. Didn't like the taste of their food.(probably I didn't understand those Yemeni traditional dishes) However this place is always full packed and there is a queue outside.

Very good jachnun, complete with the usual accompaniments. Delivery was super fast, and free if you order 2+ portions. Only suggestion is that they should serve brown eggs instead of white.

A nice local authentic Jachnun restaurant. I'm buying there for years, and from the takeaway Jachnuns, they are better than others. Will be better for you to take away and eat at home or on the beach. Prices are fair. Enjoy :)

A 50 years old business making home made recepie JACHNON ( Jahnun is made from white flour, margarine or butter, a pinch of salt and sugar that is processed and folded over and over to create puff pastry)for years , its a must stop station every Saturday morning-non , home made with tomatoes salad and "SCHOG" (A spicy spread of chili pepper) some boiled eggs, and bon appetit!

Service was wonderful, cakes were brilliant, breads were amazing. You must pay them a visit. I’ll be back

Mediocre coffee at best. Cakes which taste like they doubled the sugar measurement of every recipe. Otherwise, pretty ok.
