The Terrace Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant nightspot located adjacent to Sea World, offering an eclectic menu of both Thai and international dishes. The restaurant provides a great dining and entertainment experience with live music performances every night. The staff, including the North American manager, are proficient in English, ensuring a seamless ordering process. The bar adds to the cool ambiance, making it an enjoyable place for a memorable night out with delicious and authentic Thai cuisine.
What a place! Great food, drinks, and live music at night! Definitely the place to be in The Sea World District. If you're not here at night, you're missing out.
Will G — Google review
Excellent place, highly recommendable, good service, good fast food and excellent music in live.
Jesus P — Google review
This place has been here for as long as I can remember (first visit in 2009). The place is a strange blend between bar, live music venue and Thai restaurant. The food is great, particularly their fried morning glory and char-grilled pork neck.
William L — Google review
A great dining/Entertainment experience! If you are looking for a readily accessible place with "tasty Thai" food, a wonderful ambience as well as music--- both "live" and a DJ--- LOOK NO FURTHER!! It is easily found as its adjacent to "Sea World". The variety of food is more than ample-- but it's also "delightfully and authentic" Thai cuisine. As most of the staff are proficient in English (as well as the "North American" manager) ordering should be no problem. The bar is also pretty cool. The live music makes the evening all the more enjoyable. The whole "package" has been designed to please most people interested in a great and memorable night out! I hope that this Review is helpful.

Nestled in the vibrant district of Shekou, The Snake Pit stands as a beloved gathering place that has been delighting patrons since 1987. This iconic expat bar boasts a nostalgic 80s ambiance, making it an inviting spot to unwind with friends or enjoy some quality time alone over a drink and a good book. With an extensive menu featuring everything from hearty burgers and Tex-Mex dishes to refreshing cocktails and local beers, there's something for everyone here.
Best quesadilla I've had in China. There's also a jar of snakes in the bar and you can drink the snake juice.

Great hangout spot for older expats, featuring tons of western food and a massive book collection. This is one of the few venues in Shenzhen with an actually interesting environment. The waitresses can be really weird though..

Sea World in Shenzhen is a vibrant entertainment zone featuring a variety of dining options, bars, and a shopping mall. It's known for its lively nightlife scene, with popular western bars and opportunities to enjoy live music from talented Filipino bands. Visitors can also experience the unique ambiance of having a drink on a retired Russian ship. Additionally, the area offers an array of outdoor lounges, bars, and dance spots for those seeking nocturnal fun.
A gigantic area that is full of eateries, offering a wide range of Chinese cuisines and foods from various countries (e.g. Turkish, Korean, Thai, Japanese, German, American, Mexican). The square also features numerous food stalls. There's always something happening, such as balloons vendors and musical performances, making it an interesting place to visit. It's connected to the waterfront, where you can watch a beautiful sunset and visit the cultural museum. We enjoyed the visit very much. The Turkish restaurant is fantastic.
Charlotte L — Google review
Shekou Sea World isn’t just a sightseeing spot—it’s a lifestyle hub with a great mix of food, entertainment, and waterfront vibes. After a relaxing stroll around the iconic Minghua ship, we decided to have dinner at Grissini Kitchen, one of the many restaurants lining the vibrant plaza. The location was spot on—right by the ship, with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options. We chose to sit indoors for comfort but still had a clear view of the Sea World promenade, which comes alive at night with lights, music, and people out enjoying the scene. Grissini Kitchen offers hearty Western comfort food, and we ordered pasta, pizza, and grilled items. Everything was satisfying—flavors were familiar and portions generous. The kids enjoyed the cheesy pizza while I loved the creamy truffle pasta. Service was friendly and unrushed, letting us soak in the atmosphere. What makes dining here special is the overall Sea World experience. It’s more than just the food—it’s the waterfront setting, the music echoing through the plaza, and the energy of locals and expats mingling in a relaxed, open space. Definitely a great way to spend the evening in Shekou.

Amazing dining place around Shekou! A lot of establishment with different cuisines to choose from. Prices are not that bad too, considering the area looks like a premium spot. Amazing views of buildings too with different kinds of architecture. Highly suggest if you want to have a nice dining experience in Shenzhen.

A part of South Shenzhen to walk around with plenty of restaurants, cafe's, shops and a cinema. It's along the water so it has a great view. There are a handful of international restaurants here with some people speaking English to help foreigners.

Nice for an evening stroll by the water. Georgian restaurant Madloba (Georgian for 'Thank you') has excellent grilled food and live music in a cozy atmosphere. Their cheese on bread with mushrooms is basically a pizza without tomato sauce.

Love the place. Love the ambient, walk, eat, and enjoy the singer in evening ....

I stay at sea world whenever I am in Shenzhen on business. I consider it to be without a doubt my favourite place to travel to for work purposes in the world, plenty of restaurants and bars a very healthy mix of expats and the locals are also extremely friendly. I can not speak more highly around the hospitality I always receive in China so I would highly recommend people to visit this gorgeous part of Shenzhen.

The Peat is a bar that specializes in whisky and cocktails, with elegant decor and an atmosphere that feels like you've stepped back in time to a Prohibition-era cocktail bar. The staff are friendly and know their stuff, and the drinks are top notch. If you're looking for a unique night out, this is definitely the place to go.
A beautiful and cozy bar with more than 400 types of alcohol. After back-to-back meetings, I was exhausted and just wanted to unwind. I chose for Yamazaki 2016 Limited Edition, which had a smooth with mellow character even when enjoyed neat. My hub chose a refreshing highball. We love the relaxing environment here—it’s perfect for unwinding after a long day 🥰

We literally stumbled upon The Peat. We were wandering around the area and were instantly drawn in by the ambiance. We ordered 2 drinks and were fully impressed. Already planning to return for round 2. The service was excellent. Tops.
Daniel W — Google review
A nice place for a drink. Prices are a tad higher than your typical places in China, but you pay for the location. They have a patio area, but most people are smoking, so if you are not a smoker, definitely not the best atmosphere. Service is ok, but can be more attentive.
Howard N — Google review
Has a different name now...I think it was Pins Coctail. Took me a while to find...you go into a courtyard of a building and go to second floor. Once you are in...you see a huge wall of whiskey selection as well as other liquors. Though pretty pricey...the coctails are great and nicely presented. The owner/bartender was extremely passionate about whiskey and his whiskey coctails...and was also very friendly. Drinks were awesome and he could tell you anything on his whiskeys. The list is long and changes regularly. Do expect to pay in the 150 RMB ($20 range) for drinks. Unremarkable surroundings...but cool speakeasy vibes one inside. Would go back again

Visitors can indulge in a diverse range of dining options, from casual eateries to more upscale restaurants, all set against the backdrop of an inviting outdoor plaza.
Good place to visit for any type of shopping needs. They have all the major brands here like Lulu etc. Great selection of food also including the Michelin restaurant here (don’t know the name but located on third floor). It’s packed after 12pm and especially busy on the weekends. I was craving Vietnamese pho and surprised they had one. Ordered the soup and it was fantastic but the other items were so so. Bunch of coffee and tea places here too.

A pleasant medium sized mall with a large outdoor area. There's plenty of food options (including 2 Michelin recognised ones which I saw and ate in located on the top floor) here that's really affordable besides the regular shopping. Reachable by cab or Subway (Shopping Park Station)

Super big mall with lots of stores. Beautiful place as well. Easy to access by train. Train station is Shopping Park Station. Place is pet friendly too. Seen so many people bringing pets. The mall is very spacious and the air conditioning is very cooling. When at night, the lights are beautiful. Every store you can think of, is there. So come and visit it.

At the Shopping Park subway station, rather convenient to get to. There are no short of indoor and outdoor food outlets in COCO Park. Yes, it's summer and It's hot however it's very enjoyable walking around checking out the small stores in the centre of the mall. I have a feeling there are more food outlets in this mall than shops compared to the other malls. Anyhow, just interesting !

(Translated by Google) [Mongkok🍹Purple Check-in Bar and Restaurant] I have never been to a bar or restaurant like this before. This bar has opened its third branch this time. The decoration is purple-themed and the whole atmosphere feels so mysterious🙈. The different seats are so comfortable. , leaning in the sun, eating and drinking~ The food in this bar and restaurant is of high quality, the ingredients are fresh, the presentation is exquisite, and the drink names are all very unique~ In particular, there is Shisha available for guests to enjoy💨, so you can spend time with friends here You have to go to school and stay up all night! -------------------------------------------------- 🐚◖Base Three~Encore◗ $138 This trio includes air-dried ham with honeydew melon, grapefruit pickled seafood, and French escargot. The ham with honeydew melon is relatively ordinary, the honeydew is a bit not sweet enough. The grapefruit pickled seafood has many kinds of seafood, including shrimp, scallops, squid, Hokki scallops and red scallops each retain their freshness and elasticity. After being pickled, they taste sour and sweet. They are perfect as appetizers. I like them very much! The French escargot is soft and juicy, and the taste is slightly overshadowed by the garlic flavor, but the potato puree underneath is so creamy! 🐟◖Grilled halibut in cellophane◗ $228 Wrap it in cellophane and bake it, keep it until the temperature is high, open it and let it smoke. Lemon and tomatoes are placed on the surface of the halibut, which is almost layered. The halibut is pan-fried and then baked, which sublimates the flavor a lot, especially the fish soup, which is mixed and buried. Lemon juice tastes so fresh without feeling greasy~ 🦞 ◖Lobster Paella◗ $238 The surface of the rice is covered with sun-dried seafood, including half a lobster, squid, and clams. The lobster meat is large and fresh and sweet. The meat is of good texture and elastic, and the squid is fresh and elastic. The rice has distinct grains, but the taste is a bit bland~ 🥗◖Buffalo Cheese and Tomato Salad◗ $88 The buffalo cheese wave is finely grained and has a chewy texture. The cheese wave will be bland if eaten alone. The cheese wave is sandwiched with cherries and tomatoes. It has a rich texture and tastes sour and sweet with the milky aroma of cheese. It is very attractive as a light snack~ 🍸◖It’s the day’s dessert◗ $128 This cup of drink has a layer of bubbles on the dough, and a layer of caramel crispy skin. The food looks really nice when photographed🤩 🍴Food 1️⃣Basic trio $128: The presentation of the appetizers is already a surprise! The lobster 🦞 has a lot of fillings, and you can eat delicious lobster meat 👍🏻 The seasoning is moderate, and the salad sauce will not overwhelm the taste of the lobster. 4️⃣French Spring Chicken and Foie Gras Rice $208: The spring chicken is very smooth and tender, and morels and foie gras are added. The rice absorbs the aroma of several ingredients, adding more layers of flavor😋 5️⃣Black Truffle Bowen Crispy Lamb Rack $248: There are 4 pieces of lamb rack, the meat is so thick and the meat is juicy💥The flavor of black truffle is added in a few pinches, which makes me think about it very much! 🍸Drinks 1️⃣Taro Vanilla Smoothie $68: The taro taste is so fragrant, and the vanilla is not too sweet. There are also many seafood fruit bags, including shrimp, scallops, octopus and clams. In short, there are many kinds 😆 The Italian red shrimp is thinly sliced and the first taste is salty, and then it is very fresh and sweet! The lobster paella has a lot of ingredients. The lobster is sweet and chewy, and the hottest thing is that it is quite good 🤤 You can choose three toppings for the base pizza, choose smoked salmon, smoked pork noodle and wild mushrooms 🤤 The pizza is thick-bottomed, with tomato paste and cheese, and there are a lot of ingredients. It costs $158 and you can mix and match it yourself. In fact, the CP value is quite high 🙆🏻‍♀️ It is a cafe during the day, so there are many coffee choices. At night, there is a coffee-based cocktail. There are also many cocktails, mocktails and alcohol to drink. The signature smoothie here is called Vanilla Purple Sweet Potato Smoothie. It is also quite fragrant with purple potato flavor, not too sweet; I tried one of the signature cocktails - the perfume is poisonous. According to the menu, it is Rose infused Vodka with grapefruit and peach. It is sour and sweet and easy to drink. The alcohol flavor is not too strong 🤪 (Original)

Base Santie is located in Yau Ma Tei, right in the middle of the bustling city, with a convenient location. The decoration of the restaurant is mainly purple, and it makes you gasp when you enter it, because it is so modern, full of science fiction, and eye-catching. I like it very much~❤️ The dishes at Base 3 focus on fusion Western food. The food is high-end and exquisite, and the ingredients are high-quality and fresh. The price is very reasonable, and the personality ratio is very high. I am very satisfied and satisfied with the meal. Crispy fried squid rings $88 There were 6 large pieces on one plate. We struggled for a long time between onion rings and squid rings because we were afraid that the squid would be dry and tough due to frying. Fortunately, it was better to choose the squid rings! The squid is fresh and has no smell of snow. It is plump and thick, and the meat is delicious. The fried batter of the squid rings is relatively thin, and the texture is light and not very greasy. You can enjoy the soft texture of the squid itself while eating it crispy. Base Pizza $158 The pizza here comes with three toppings of your own choice. We chose smoked salmon, smoked pork noodles and spicy sausage (we all love smoked food). The tomato base and cheese topping are very filling. There are six slices of pizza in total, and each slice has all the selected toppings, so it’s definitely not exclusive! The ingredients are pretty enough and everything you order is delicious! French farm chicken rice with foie gras $238 Super super delicious❗The restaurant adds foie gras and morel mushrooms to the risotto, plus the chicken fat from the butter chicken, the aroma is perfectly melted into the rice, the taste is rich and the aroma is fragrant! Every piece of chicken is very thick and has a very fragrant chicken flavor. Foie gras melts in your mouth and has a rich flavor. It’s truly delicious, no exaggeration! Smoked M9 Wagyu ~ Belly (lychee wood) $328 Presented in the original wooden box, very special. Upon opening, a burst of smoke emerges, with a rich fruity wood aroma. In addition to the smoky flavor of the beef, even the salads have a strong smoky flavor! The beef is soft and juicy, and the meat is rich in flavor. It is worthy of being M9 Wagyu beef! The price is a bit expensive, but the quality is so good that I can share it with friends. I won’t drink if I have to go back to work the next day. I ordered orange juice, and my friend ordered bean flower tea. The clerk was very nice and often helped to add water. I highly recommend the flower tea. It was really good. It turns out that there are three "base" series! This time we made an appointment to visit "Base 3" again😆.

The restaurant continues to follow the stylish route. The most impressive thing is definitely the unique lighting atmosphere. The purple main color feels comfortable, but at the same time it does not affect the food check-in too much. It is most suitable for the editor to eat first with the camera. There are various seat layouts. The editor likes to sit near the large floor-to-ceiling glass the most. Outside is the bustling Nathan Road, and I can quietly enjoy the food. It feels so good. As for food, there are salads, pizzas, and staples, each with a wide range of choices. For pizza, you can choose 3 ingredients, and there are 9 staples including pork, beef, lamb, chicken, fish, and seafood. With so many choices, you are sure to find something that the customers like. ● Base Three ~ Ensemble 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘰 3 As an appetizer, I think this is a must-eat 😍 The platter is served on a three-tier rack like a high tea, with air-dried ham with honeydew melon, pomelo pickled seafood and French snails on it. The presentation is superb and the food tastes good, especially the pomelo pickled seafood, which is sour and sweet and very appetizing. ● Base Pizza 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘢 Guests can choose 3 out of 9 ingredients including smoked salmon, sausage, ham, wild mushrooms, etc. The size is about 6 inches, which is just the right size for two people. The thickness is neither too thick nor too thin, so you won’t feel full after finishing the pizza. The editor picked two types of meat and cherry tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes are sweet and can reduce the greasy feeling. You can try them. ● Black Truffle Bowen Crispy Lamb T-Bone 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘣 𝘛-𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘦 Lamb T-bones are rare, but they are not inferior to lamb racks. They are tender and juicy even when cooked 50% rare. The black truffle sauce makes the lamb flavor stronger and more distinctive. The portion is moderate and the chef is very good. ● 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘰 𝘝𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘚𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘦 You can have vanilla with taro flavor or taro with vanilla flavor. Both flavors are outstanding, the sweetness is just right, and the purple color matches the restaurant's color scheme. It's a good choice for cold drinks. ● 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘔𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘢 For hot drinks, choose mocha, banana flavor. This chocolate flavor is stronger, but the banana aroma is still attractive, and the handsome latte art pattern is awesome 👍 (Original)

Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Window of the World Ticket Office is a large theme park that offers visitors the chance to explore miniature replicas of around 130 famous global attractions. From the Eiffel Tower to the Niagara Falls, and from the Sydney Opera House to Mount Rushmore, this park provides a curious glimpse at how various world landmarks are portrayed in miniaturized form. The replicas are found in different proportions, such as 1:1, 1:5, and 1:15.
Big theme park with lots to see, and a few rides to go with it. If taking the train, the park entrance is located at the "louvre" train exit. Coolest train exit I've seen. There is a "hanging gardens" ride, a 4d movie theatre (5min showtime), spinning dumbo cups and more. Spent 2 hours here and still could not visit all the attractions. My favorite was the koi pond with very large koi fish and an anime statue.
Darryl T — Google review
This is a big theme park with famous miniature buildings / tourist attractions from all around the world. We went at night to see the lights but the rides and shows were all closed. I recommend going around 2pm so you have about 5 hours to experience the shows and the rides. There is a lot of walking, kind of like going to Disneyland. It's a fun place to go with kids and there's some small parks inside for the kids to play in.
Friendly N — Google review
The place is absolutely beautiful and worth the walk and effort. However, I recommend avoiding a visit in the morning as the weather is extremely hot and humid. The temperature improves after 3 PM. Make sure to bring a map if you plan to explore all the attractions—it will take at least 6 hours. You’ll need to drink plenty of water, and I highly recommend trying the iced watermelon juice. It’s a refreshing choice! 👍🏻

I visited Windows of the World in October 2024. It was quite crowded, but still a fun and interesting place. The weather was hot, so make sure to bring water and sun protection. The park has impressive miniature versions of famous landmarks from all over the world—Eiffel Tower, pyramids, Taj Mahal, and more. It’s a great place for taking photos and spending a few hours walking around. It’s conveniently located near the metro station, which made it very easy to get there—I took the metro directly. The underground area connected to the station is full of shops, food courts, and small restaurants, so it’s a good place to eat or cool off before or after your visit.

Window of the World is a very big theme park in Shenzhen. It features replicas of all the iconic and famous landmarks in the world. It is divided into 8 geographical zones. They are World Plaza, Asia Zone, Oceania Zone, Europe Zone, Africa Zone, America Zone, Sculpture Zone, and International Street. Among the landmarks reproduced here are the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Great Pyramid, Taj Mahal, Big Ben, Angkor Wat, Arc de Triomphe and Kek Lok Si. There is a elaborate cultural dance and acrobatic show at 8.00pm every night. It is very entertaining with attractive lights, music, costumes, props and backdrops. Do not miss this show when you visit this park. Entrance ticket to the park (inclusive of the evening show) is RMB220 per adult, no discount for foreign senior citizens.

Love from India 🇮🇳❤️🇨🇳. Walked a distance of 1.5km from Shenzhen bay park 🏞️. (Lost the route midway 🥲). It's actually a OKOK kind of. Entry fee is around 200rmb ig. I didn't go in. 200rmb is very high as a tourist.

Nice huge park. Many interesting smaller-size famous buildings from around the world. Plus a lot of things for kids. Best for visiting with kids (only for adults maybe less interesting). Can easily spend 3-5 hour here. Available places for eating too.

Situated on the ground floor of the Mandarin Oriental, MO Bar provides a more laid-back dining experience compared to its upscale counterparts. The venue offers a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying brunch with friends, featuring a picnic-inspired menu that includes shared appetizers, hearty mains like Lobster Eggs Benedict and Sweet Potato & Vegetable Madras Curry, and a delightful dessert platter. Additionally, MO Bar presents seasonal brunch options with autumn flavors and lively DJ music, along with 90 minutes of free-flow drinks.
Best food quality in town, unlimited cocktails and champagne, fantastic service and top notch atmosphere thanks to live DJ. I'm a regular and I'm addicted... The food menu changes every quarter depending on seasons. The pictures here are the seafood brunch but I can't wait for their spring brunch !!!!

MO Bar has collaborated with Blueberry until July 14th! You must go for either tea time or night time. This time, we went for the afternoon tea section at 11:30 am. Their tea set and drinks were also very good. I really enjoyed the Blueberry theme's design, as it's all in blue color! I had a great time here, and you should come once before the event ends. Food, drink, Bar and staff were all great!!

This is a feature lobby bar at Mandarin Oriental in Central. Situated just off Queen's Road Central it is combined with the PDT Bar, which is upstairs from within the MO Bar. Seating is classy and opening hours are 8am to midnight daily. They offer creative cocktails, spirits, wine and beer along all-day food menu. Have stopped by a couple times this year and find this to be a very good bar option in the Central area for early afternoon round, bar snacks and pre-dinner drinks. Service is friendly and timely, drink quality is what you expect of a MO property and environs are very good. In the end, there are a lot of good bars around Central, the MO Bar is very well located and an easy choice for a predictably good venue when in the area and in the mood.

Tried the restaurant week dinner set, and it is good value! The service is very good. The cream soup is great! So smooth and delicious! I tried the mo bar burger, which is made by impossible meat, it is so real ! Just tastes like real beef burger, together with their special burger sauce, so tasty! And the hoi nam chicken is so tender! The soup is so rich in taste and the rice is yummy too! U can’t miss the cakes! The cheesecake goes perfectly with strawberries and cream, it is so creamy and cheesy! The dark chocolate cake is very rich in dark chocolate flavor, it is balanced with passion fruit sorbet, the sweetness and sourness, simply mouth watering, love it. Thanks

Definitely a very good dining experience at Mo Bar! The brunch served with free flow at very reasonable price. 3-courses with side dish, and free flow serving cocktail and champagne! Service is excellent!

Haven’t come for dining for a while but my recent visit was a positive surprise. New menu with free flow drinks was fairly good value while food standards were maintained at high standards as before. Appetizers platter was made of yummy lobster salads, foie gras, chops with ham. My main course sirloin steak was good. Good dish presentation with high quality food.

Mo Bar, you are one cool cat, from your swanky mirrored bar (hanging from the ceiling, no less), to your cozy little booths, I'm glad we made a cocktail here a priority. THE GOOD. + High quality craft cocktails + Delicious bar snacks (olives & seasoned almonds, anyone?) + Friendly, attentive waiters + Window-view to the cars valet-parked for the rich and the famous (or just very, very rich) THE BAD-ish. ~ Pricey (although hotel bars in Hong Kong have given me the impression this is the norm) ~ Limitations on how long you can stay at your table For anyone who was lost (like myself), it's located on the ground floor of the Mandarin Oriental (or if you enter through the nearby shopping plaza, just head all the way down).

Japanese restaurant
Perched on the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental, The Aubrey is a unique Japanese izakaya that offers stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong. This stylish establishment boasts carefully curated design elements, including commissioned artwork and a playlist featuring groovy tunes to create an intimate atmosphere. Embracing Hong Kong's reputation as a hub for cultural exchange while honoring Japanism, The Aubrey celebrates both influences through its decor and culinary offerings.
The Aubrey in Hong Kong, located in the Mandarin Oriental, is an absolute gem! The interior is stunning, with a chic and intimate ambiance that feels perfect for a romantic date or celebrating something special. I recently visited, and the service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. The drinks were fantastic, and I’d highly recommend trying their Negroni—it was perfectly balanced. The whole experience felt luxurious but still warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a classy spot for cocktails or a memorable evening out, The Aubrey is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
Zeno C — Google review
Atmosphere, decoration, location, drinks, food all world class. Thoroughly recommend this spot. It has deservedly become a place to be seen on Friday nights too. Well done to the team behind this, in a notoriously competitive F&B environment
Patrick C — Google review
The food was excellent at the Aubrey. Great taste, especially the snacks/starters were on point. Hamachi rolls and kerage chicken were the best. The mains were overall disappointing, the udon were a bit strange, slippery and eggy and milky. The pork however was super tasty and soft. We came while the best bar take over was on, and the drinks were a bot meh, being at the different bars, the drinks presented at the Aubrey were disappointing, mild not a good representation of the HK best bars. Finally, the sitting area was wonderful. Super chill, great interiors but freezing cold. Must also say that the cool interiors clash a bit with the izakaya idea. Was like being in an English gastro pub where served Japanese style pub food.

Service is as expected from MO. Got the sashimi set which is quite good but honestly feels tad overpriced, maybe choosing the three Bento is better! If you upgrade to the beef! But the Wagyu sando is to kill for! Very yummy and expensive piece! But defo a better environment, especially for quality lunch as table are well-placed, so it doesn't get too rowdy. Also came here for bar, I thought it was a bit loud but I had good things that you can have good environment to chat, maybe my table or bad luck! But they have a lot of drinks but pricy for sure!

Went to Aubrey for drinks on a cool, cloudy Saturday evening and felt instantly uplifted. We got a table by the window and got a great view of the harbour and the giant Ferris wheel. 5 stars for the following: - Service (our waiter recommended amazing drinks for us) - Comfort (the seats were ultra comfortable) - Bartender (the drinks were DELICIOUS) - Atmosphere (the VIBE was uplifting, classy, and calm) - Music (perfect volume and genre) - Interior decor (special mention for how classy it truly looks - not all hotel bars look this presentable in Hong Kong) Go only if you wish to have a guaranteed special time 😎

We enjoyed our visit to the The Aubrey immensely. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very lovely lady who found us a great table withou having a reservation on a Saturday night. We were served by a very friendly waiter who looked after us very well throughout the evening. The food was delicious and the cocktails fabulous✨✨✨

Brilliant bento box style lunch. Really cool environment and great service. I look forward to coming back for dinner. The lunch is not too expensive if you go with the set menu.

Atmosphere 8.5/10 Located inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Accordingly very high-end atmosphere and interior design elements. There are two different bar areas, with the main bar positioned in the middle of the room, creating a nice cocktail bar vibe. However, for the floor it is located on, the views are poor. The dress code is smart casual. Drinks 6/10 Recommendation: - The menu design is nice with a lot of signature cocktails, which all have some history behind them. However, the drinks did not taste good, nor did they have any interesting presentation orgarnish. Normal glassware is used. Nice coasters are provided. Service 5/10 This was a big disappointment for a place like the Mandarin Oriental. The bartender had no clue about their menu and couldn’t explain it or tell me where I can find food options. They serve water and complimentary snacks on the spot. But the price tag is just too high for the service level offered.

conveniently located at MTR Tai Koo Shing Station. A big shopping mall with many many shops. A number of new brand names have moved in recently. Many toilets allocated in different spots. Scenic Victoria Harbour waterfront promenade nearby. Iconic Christmas decorations every year. This year's has added colorful lighting for photo taking day and night.

Large. Full of all the major shops as well as an ice rink. Cityplaza certainly impresses with its shear scale and variety. That said, the plaza could benefit from better air-conditioning and better signage, as it’s a little difficult to navigate.
Rich L — Google review
Very convenient shopping mall connected to Tai Koo Shing MTR with a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. It's been around for decades but still looks and feels new, the ice rink is popular and it often hosts activities like the NBA right now, and for UK visitors their M&S is very well stocked!
Wai L — Google review
A well-managed shopping mall with a vibrant atmosphere and frequent events that keep things lively. It has a wide selection of shops from various big brands, a big Japanese supermarket/ department store and a modern cinema. However, the dining options could have more variety. Currently, the restaurants are dominated by a few major food chains, which limits the culinary experience. A broader mix of eateries, including more local or niche options would be nice.
YippeeKewl — Google review
The shopping mall is great. It offers a variety of nice boutiques, toy shops, restaurants and even has a cinema. However, the parking is a nightmare. It took hours just to leave.
Hellseeker — Google review
This shopping mall is well-managed and energetic, thanks to frequent events that add excitement to your visit. There's a great selection of shops from leading brands, a spacious Japanese supermarket/department store, and a modern cinema for entertainment. However, the dining scene is mostly taken up by a handful of big food chains, which limits the diversity of choices. It would be even better with a wider range of eateries, especially more local or unique dining options to enrich the culinary experience.
Jacob — Google review
The parking area is huge, but pretty low, lots of spots is only for cars less than 1.8, some are even lower, do check out the sign before driving in.

Overall a dated shopping mall in need of a facelift with a confusing layout. Skip it unless you’re in the area.

Great service and food. Maggie makes everyone welcome. A must visit for any Brit visiting Shenzhen
Mark R — Google review
I got a Pim's cocktail that was pretty good. So this place might be fine for a drink. The food, however, was not fine. It was incredibly bland and tasteless (and this is coming from someone who loves British food). My girlfriend got the "Sunday Roast" with lamb that had the consistency of dog food and Yorkshire puddings that were like chewing on cardboard. They even screwed up mashed potatoes, which I didn't even know was possible. I got the chicken meat pie that had mushrooms like rubber and chicken that was somehow dry despite being soaked in gravy. By far the worst western food I've ever had in China, and that is saying a lot (I've been here 3+ years). Because of this place, my girlfriend and I have a new rule to never eat British food in mainland China ever again. Avoid this place's food at all costs, unless you like eating unsalted cardboard. The picture makes it look ok. It wasn't.

Rarely nice service and environment in Hong Kong nowadays! We enjoyed afternoon tea there & everything is abover average, especially (again to say) staff's services are superb! They are all well trained, polite, helpful with true smile on face!!!

Another set dinner during the restaurant week in Nov 2024! The drink was from the St Regis bar, which is one of my favorite bars in the city. The dishes were not too impressive, but better than average lounge food in luxury hotels. Love the little car with desserts at the end. Excellent service and great atmosphere.
Anchi L — Google review
We originally intended to go to a Chinese restaurant but ended up at this place (a bar?). The atmosphere and seating were comfortable, and sitting by the window felt just like being in a café in a European town. When we realized we had come to the wrong place, Mr. Chow, the staff member, warmly assisted us in getting to the Chinese restaurant. After our meal, because the ambiance was so pleasant, we returned to have coffee. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon that day, we only stayed for a short while before each heading home. Next time, we’ll make sure to stay longer.
Peggy L — Google review
Entering the hotel main gate I can already encounter the luxury vibe of the St Regis. The door is huge as a palace like entrance. The drawing is on the 2nd floor also with a church like head room for 3 stories high. The design is noble, subtle and concise. No matter how, nicely served cuisine is matching the vibe of the restaurant. Very well made and tasty. My personal highlight is the onion soup which is outstanding. And the whole night with extraordinary detail service by the team with Fanny, Victor, and Paul. Can’t wait to coming again to experience other dishes.
Ivan Y — Google review
I appreciated the afternoon tea here there were variety choice of tea from " plantation" especially the oolong tea series. The waiter introduced the differences between the various teas. You can also decide on your own choice of desserts and savouries for afternoon tea here. The waiter will bring the food trolley and introduce each variety one by one, and then you can choose from four different flavors of desserts or savory snacks. This afternoon tea is a collaboration with skin care products. I particularly recommend the Roselle Grapefruit, which is sour and sweet, with a floral flavor. There is also the Dark Chocolate Crispy Rice, which is rich cocoa and oil crispy rice and has a good taste.
Daphne L — Google review
An exquisite dining experience at The Drawing Room in St. Regis Hong Kong — a true culinary delight from start to finish. I began the evening with the Pan-fried Foie Gras, perfectly seared with a luscious center, complemented by sweet date chutney and a rich black truffle sauce — indulgent yet balanced. For the main, I couldn’t resist the Surf & Turf, featuring a tender Angus beef striploin topped with a beautifully grilled lobster tail. The beef was juicy and flavourful, while the lobster added a succulent, sweet contrast — a luxurious pairing executed with finesse. Presentation was flawless — each dish plated like art, with refined textures and color palettes. The ambiance added another layer to the experience: soft lighting, city views through tall glass windows, and a quiet elegance that sets the tone for a relaxed, upscale evening. The dessert trolley was the perfect finale — I opted for the Salty Caramel Chocolate Finger, a smooth, decadent bite with just the right hint of salt to elevate the richness. With impeccable service, elegant surroundings, and a thoughtfully curated set menu, this was a five-star gastronomic journey I would highly recommend for special occasions or refined indulgence.

The interior is grand and contemporary, it is very sleek and yet cozy. I Tried the restaurant week lunch. The bread basket got assorted bread, it is served warm with butter. The starter: avocado smoke salmon salad s portion is huge! The salad is very fresh, avocado is soft and smoke salmon is in high quality. The teriyaki beef rib is very good! The beef is more like beef briskets, it is tender and not dried, with the sweet teriyaki sauce, the flavour is rich. And the mashed potatoes is very smooth and creamy. The hazelnut finger is delicious, it is creamy and with hints of hazelnut flavour, it is sweet but not overly sweetened. The flat white is standard quality, it is smooth and coffee taste is mild. I enjoy the meal and the environment a lot

The Old Man is a renowned venue that stands out in its region for its exceptional decor and immersive atmosphere. The bar features a unique table design that blurs the line between guests and bartenders, offering delightful hospitality. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway's novels, the cocktails are crafted with inventive flavor combinations and served in smaller portions, allowing patrons to sample from a diverse selection.
I was supposed to bar hop that night, but I ended up staying at this bar until closing. There was just something about it – the energy, the warmth, the way it felt like everyone knew each other’s story. It’s the warmest bar in HK. I loved the cocktails, but honestly, I loved the bartenders even more. Thank you ate Michelle, Seto, Josh for an amazing experience. What a gem! This funky little bar might have limited seating, but that just adds to its charm. We absolutely loved it! A little hidden speakeasy in the heart of central, where concept and craftsmanship intertwine. Although the venue is small, it’s cozy. The menu is incredibly unique; you can see the attention to detail from the design alone. The cocktails are well thought through, aligning with the concept of the menu, and true to The Old Man’s nature - experimental. My personal favourites from their new menu are Handshake, Quiet Waters and Maven. Would also highly recommend getting their lotus chips, you won’t regret it. If you’re seeking for a quieter evening enjoying cocktails, I’d come earlier, as it gets does get busy and crowded later in the evening.

Great cocktail bar in the cool SoHo neighborhood of Hong Kong. Came on a Thursday night and the energy was great, very vibey and cool cocktail bar with a modern Hemingway theme to it. Team was super friendly and excited to share all about their seasonal signature cocktails. I loved the creativity of the drinks and their grounding in local Ingredients, also appreciated the breadth of flavor profiles, including some killer brown liquor options! Taking the elevator from the lobby of the Nathan Hotel does not get you to the Penthouse. Once you get to the 14/F, you have to walk up a flight of stairs. The service was pathetic. The waiters and waitresses were not rude when they were actually interacting with us. The problem was that they ignored us, while they were busy setting up tables and delivering food to other patrons. We were seated for 15 minutes before we were able to get hold of a menu. The staff was also quite disorganized; often serving the wrong food. The dim sum, the deep-fried crab claws and the Fujian fried rice were alright, but not good enough to make up for all the aggravation.

The surrounding area is spacious, with well-kept gardens and wide walkways. It’s a great place for a stroll, and the design of the building itself is stunning, especially when lit up at night. If you’re in Shenzhen, it’s worth visiting to admire the architecture and enjoy the surrounding urban environment.

Cocktail bar
Bar
COA in Hong Kong is a laid-back bar that reflects the owner's love for Mexican flavors and ingredients. The 41-page menu is dedicated to agave spirits, showcasing the bar's commitment to this theme. The La Chinesca cocktail, named after a neighborhood in Mexicali, Mexico, combines jalapeno-infused tequila blanco with habanero spirit, tomato water, coriander, ginger, honey and lemon.
We arrived around 5:25pm and the queue was already so long. Luckily we got a table for the first seating. The drinks were very unique, but in a good way. I tried the spicier drinks and I was surprised that I enjoyed them. Service was also very good, all of them were very attentive and friendly. Thank you also to Axel also for being very welcoming! Tip: go early or else they’ll tell you they are fully booked already! We went around 9pm the day before and they were fully booked already for the night.

Probably the best bar in Hong Kong. Every single cocktail was outstanding and always with a complete difference flavor. You might need to queue before it opens to make sure that you get a seat in the first round. Alternatively they get your name and number and let you know approximately when there might be a table available. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the drinks and offer some snacks.
Tomás F — Google review
I love a great cocktail bar, especially one with a focus on mezcal and tequila! The drinks were wonderful and it was such a nice ambiance inside. The service was also great! I will say it was a bit hard to find at first as it’s through an alleyway and up or down some steps, depending on which way you come from. Also, since there no reservations, your best bet is to go early right when they open. I did that and had maybe a 15 min wait for 2 people. For reference, I went a couple of days before this but couldn’t get on the waitlist because it was so packed. Overall, a lovely experience.

Waited 3.5 hours on a Saturday night to get into the legendary COA Mexican bar, which got listed in Asia 50 best bar few years ago and since then always have a giant queue outside no matter weekday weather or time. Their signature clarified coconut milk punch is worth the hype, one of the most unique and delicious cocktails I've tried, the initial taste, middle taste, and after taste are completely different, with caramel, coconut, and smokey flavor, a must try! Other than their signature clarified coconut milk, their other cocktails are very delicious too, first time to try horchata. The drinks feature on Mexican ingredients and preparation style. Servers are friendly and patiently introduce drinks and provide chips for bar snack. 120$ +10% per drink, reasonable for the location and quality. The decor is in rustic Mexican plantation theme and Mexican folklore, comfortable seating but it's always super crowd inside, almost need to yell to hear your friends at the same table.

My favorite bar in Hong Kong. E-queue managed through WhatsApp. Come here early and get into the queue! I saw the line starting to queue almost 1 hour before the bar opening time. The last order time is 23:00. Fantastic drinks, nice noisy crowd of people, great choice of music.
Evgeny — Google review
Lively and popular spot with a strong Mexican theme, centred around tequila and mezcal. You’ll likely have to wait for a table, but they have a digital queue so you can go elsewhere until it’s ready. The drinks lean into bold, recognisable flavours, though without much depth or surprise. Staff seemed a bit inexperienced, and service was uneven - drinks arrived at different times, and attempts at conversation felt a little forced. Still, it’s a fun atmosphere with approachable cocktails, just not a place to expect much beyond the surface.
Lisa M — Google review
Disappointment that they have lost their ability to tailor make to your taste. They pre-mixed everything nowadays and can’t make any adjustment, using justifications that the mixture is balanced in flavour. Haven’t been there for a couple of years as it was always full. Tried 3 cocktails which were ok but not impressive. Would be interesting to see if it is still Asia top 50s.

Haha, I’m such a Penicillin fan that I went to this bar just for the name! Turns out, it’s actually one of Asia’s Top 50 Bars, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The cocktail I had was refreshing and lovely. The bartender took the time to ask about my preferences and recommended something that suited me perfectly. I sat at the bar, and watching the cocktail-making process up close was such a cool experience. Great vibe, great drinks, definitely worth a visit if you’re into cocktails!

Busy as usual! They serve a variety of gin base cocktail (alongside with some choices of non alcoholic and classic cocktails). The menu doesn't really change too much. The food was good, but portion was quite small. Tables are also quite small for servings. Good for a quick catch up with friends.

Definitely one of my favorite cocktail bars in Hong Kong. Minimalist decor with great cocktails. Bartenders are like chemists making your drinks. The theme is sustainable cocktails with minimal waste. Try the “One Penicillin One Tree”, but I also like the “Slow Grind.”

Quinary is a renowned cocktail bar in Hong Kong that has been a prominent player in the city's cocktail scene since its establishment in 2012. The founder, Antonio Lai, is recognized as a pioneer in local mixology. The bar is known for its innovative and trendsetting cocktails, such as the signature Earl Grey Caviar Martini, which has become a classic favorite.
Very creative bar. It was worth to try. The earl grey caviar martini was very interesting. Tasted great. Came around 9pm and didn’t wait.
ABL — Google review
This bar has a welcoming vibe and genuinely skilled staff. The seasonal menu aimed for innovation through texture, although some drinks lacked boldness. Classic options, including barrel-aged cocktails, were solid, but slightly diluted. We challenged the bartender to create something different and off the menu. He created a rum Manhattan, adding in some surprising bitters. It stood out as a highlight - layered, balanced, and thoughtfully crafted.
Lisa M — Google review
TLDR: creativity and drink design as well as service is nice but I was not a fan of the two drinks I ordered I got the popular earl grey caviar martini and did not know that the caviar was made of grapefruit which made it very tart of a drink for me. I also got the two mini bottles for the roasted marshmallow but there was barely any drink in them, it wasn’t even enough for one sip of each and most of it was stuck to the sides of the bottle
Wilson T — Google review
The Quinary Bar is an outstanding place where to meet your friends. Place is limited, so I advise you to get a reservation. Stuff is very friendly and the service is very smart. There is lovely music but not too loud, so you can have a good conversation in between. The boss himself gives you the best recommendations. So do not hesitate to ask for! Stunning flavour together with an amazing sight of the drinks will be the result of perfection @ it‘s best. Go there and have a drink!

I love Quinary! All the cocktails have such a fun and fancy vibe. I’m not personally a big fan of the bar’s interior decor, but the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the drinks are well-crafted and delicious, so I really can’t complain. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys creative cocktails, and I’ll for sure be going back!
Sasha W — Google review
Great experience at Quinary. Arriving on a Sunday night around 9 pm, it was nearly full. Drinks were interesting, creative, and unique - albeit expensive (HKD$150+ each). Loved the attention to detail in the menu design and custom leather coasters (also available to purchase). Staff were very helpful in explaining the drinks thoroughly, making recommendations, and even pausing to ask if we wanted to take photos/video as they served the drinks that involved pouring. Spirit-free options were available, but most of them contained dairy, though staff were helpful in explaining this to me when I mentioned lactose intolerance as it was not clearly called out in the menu descriptions. We also ordered the duck spring rolls, which unfortunately were a miss for us - it was a big portion but we were expecting thin and crisp rolls, but instead they were more like thick but soft crepe rolls.
Steph C — Google review
My top bar in Hong Kong!! I love the drinks and the ambience here. The Lavender Meringue Pie was top tier, can’t really taste the alcohol, more like a dessert drink (which is very dangerous haha). The Negroni was stroooong though. Overall, an amazing bar with great service!!
Junita — Google review
Atmosphere 8.5/10 Designed as a Monkey Express (train) bar. Obviously, they put in a lot of effort for the interior design - many authentic industrial train design elements. Great backbar. Can get a bit loud when busy. Drinks 7/10 Recommendation: Happy Cake Very creative menu design and large cocktail selection. The first part of the menu is around different elements (like glass, silk, gold, etc.) and drinks curated to represent those. The second part is a more traditional menu with some signature drinks. The cocktail taste did not convince me though - it felt like the presentation, which is clearly unique here, was prioritized over taste and balance of ingredients. Great for pictures, mediocre for taste experience. Nice coasters and glassware. Service 7/10 The team speaks English and takes time to explain the menu. Water is served on the spot. It might take some time to catch the team’s attention though… No snacks / warm towels or further service. Prices are average for Hong Kong. This bar is ranked #26 in Asia’s Best 50 Bars 2024. Even though it’s a fun bar, the ranking feels a bit high, considering the competition and high standards of other bars in Asia.

Had a really good time here. Service is great. Cocktails are all nice (we had 2 classics - blood&sand, brown derby- & 1 signature - the clock tower). Very creative menu selections, not much of a variety but definitely nice! The band playing during the night we visited was very talented as well. Darkside has been ranked among the “Asia’s 50 Best Bars” for four consecutive years, and as a hotel bar, it consistently delivers top-notch service and ambiance. Dongmen Pedestrian Street, also known as Legislative Jiaoyushi, is a bustling shopping district in Shenzhen with a rich history dating back over 300 years. This commercial epicenter is filled with an array of malls, department stores, and shops vying for visitors' attention. The area's historical significance is evident through remnants like the Siyue Academy, which was once an Ancestral Hall during the Ming Dynasty and has since been repurposed as a private school.
A large area consisting of some older shopping plaza with very few shops inside, so don't bother going in. There are plenty of Food Stalls and Restaurants on the Street level to choose from. I went during the afternoon, so there was not as many Stalls open, but I was still able to sample some tasty street foos

Travel on the Shenzhen metro to get here. Cash not usually accepted - everything is on AliPay (China not HK). So make sure you have this set-up before making the trip to China. AliPay for transport tickets and all payments. Open street shopping district in Shenzhen. Fashion and sports stores galore with many restaurants and eateries. A very lively and busy shopping district. Every store is pumping out all different kinds of music which adds to the atmosphere. Enter shops as a tourist and do not be surprised to be chaperoned by a member of the sales team and offered all sorts of goods. Most goods offered cheaper than in Hong Kong.

Mina C — Google review
Visited this bar in Sheung Wan, recommend by one friend, tgt with another friend, whom I hadnt met for a long time, for dinner. . We shared the following dishes: -Peaches & Burrata (HKD130) The dish included pickled cantaloupe, crispy serrano ham, habanero hot honey and herbs. The burrata had an intense milk aroma and was creamy. The sweetness of the cantaloupe moderated the saltiness of the ham, adding textures and complexities to the dish. -Smoked Ceviche (HKD140) The dish consisted of tuna, mackerel, prawn, scallop, sansho cream and tortilla chips. The slightly sour sansho cream paired well with the fresh sashimi. Combining them with the crispy tortilla chips and enjoyed them in one bite elevated the dining experience. -Spicy Rigatoni (HKD160) The dish featured chorizo, calabrian chili, mascarpone and parmesan. Its surface was covered by an abundant amount of parmesan and the chili and chorizo made the dish spicy and smoky. -Rump Steak (HKD230) The steak was paired with potato puree and scallion chili oil. Ordered medium rare, its pink meat looked attractive and had a tender texture. The potato puree was smooth and the chili oil elevated its aroma. For cocktails, I ordered the AL's Iced Tea with Vodka (HKD110), made with English breakfast tea, peach tea and lemon. It was super refreshing and pleasantly sweet. I couldn't quit recall the name of the cocktails ordered by them though🙈. . Not only does this bar serve enjoyable cocktails, but they also provide presentable and savoury food. The staff was super passionate and energetic while serving us, leaving us with a memorable experience. We sat in a semi-opened area, so it was slightly hot while we enjoyed our food.

Came at 6.30pm on Friday and got a seat at the bar. Any time after 7pm will have to wait if no booking. Food was good, liked the burrata. Pasta was a bit dry. HH cocktails $70, good strength and volume. Docked a star because it felt super rushed and they took my drink whilst I was paying and I wasn’t even finished yet! Also throughout the night you can feel them rushing you on everything which wasn’t the most relaxing environment.

Incredible street, and probably heaven for tech geeks. Being the largest electric market in the world, you can probably find whatever you set your mind to, from legit quality phones, laptops, components, cases, headphones etc., to more or less good and functional copies of all of the previously mentioned. If you are interested in buying anything some tips: 1. Research your product! The malls are huge, and there are so many products that look so similar to the originals, but are just cheap copies. If you do go that route, and are interested in copies, try to test them on site. 2. Haggle. You can always drop the price, at least by a couple of RMB, but don't ever accept the first offer. If you buy multiple articles or in bulk, chances of getting a better price increase rapidly. There are also numerous booths along the street as well as inside some of the malls where technicians would fix your device usually on spot. Similar principles to the ones when buying a product apply here. Additionally, it may be advised to have always a visual of the device being repaired. Some technicians may take the device to fix it in the back and then replace some of the functional components with imitations.

Located in Shenzhen, The Terrace Bar at Shenzhen BENNELONG RESIDENCES is a versatile and popular spot. It offers express check-in and check-out, free WiFi, and a terrace with stunning views. This bar is known for its delicious Thai food, live music, and expat-friendly service. With a casually chaotic atmosphere and reasonable prices, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks and good vibes in the area.
Yes love it. Great drinks and food selections.
Radoslav J — Google review
A satisfying experience on the whole. The food could have been better - especially the grilled beef and the rib eye steak. The happy hour drinks are good, but the menu lacks flexibilitu. For example, you HAVE TO order wine by the glass, you can't order a bottle. The entertainment is superb! The live band was one of the best I've listened to.
Manishi R — Google review
Wow wow wow, the entertainment first of all should be famous. The band that played rocked my world! The 2 girls got more pipes then anything I've heard in a long time! Great location, great food, good drinks. Knocked it out the park in every way you can.
Shane P — Google review
The house band is highly professional and basically creates the great atmosphere here - nothing to take away from the other staff. I wish they had bands like this in Shanghai. Good Thai food and prompt service as well

Tucked away behind a functioning refrigerator lies The Haploid, a two-story bar that exudes an air of mystery and sophistication. Upon entering this basement speakeasy, guests are transported to a different world with its ambient lighting and soulful jazz tunes. The resident mixologists are on hand to craft the perfect drink for patrons.
The Haploid is a small, bohemian, high end hidden bar that offers amazing cocktails with a great vibe. If you fancy some good cocktails, this is the place
Byron M — Google review
Cool cocktail spot with delicious drinks. Fun to try to find as well. Definitely worth going if you're near Coco Park. The bartenders make really nice drinks. I suppose they are more mixologists with the care and specialness the drinks are made.
Nick G — Google review
The place does not exist (anymore?). Looked for half an hour, ending in asking many people (with a local friend) and no one knew that place. The only beverage vendor does not have access to this bar.

Nestled in the mountainous hinterland of Xiaomeisha seaside resort area, about 30km from central Shenzhen, OCT East is a sprawling resort comprising three main themed areas: Knight Valley, Tea Stream Valley, and Wind Valley. Visitors can explore attractions such as Ancient Tea Town for traditional tea experiences and the recreated Swiss Alps holiday resort of Interlaken with its accompanying hotel and spa.
The place is literally run-down, and 80% of it is closed. It is only good for sightseeing. It is a waste of ¥200 for a ticket per person, plus an additional ¥40 to ride on their cart to take you up to the cable car.
