Shang Palace, located in the Shangri-La Hotel, is renowned for its Cantonese cuisine and particularly famous for its shrimp dumplings. These dumplings are made with a thin skin and contain a perfect blend of fresh shrimp and fatty pork, resulting in a flavorful and juicy filling. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring traditional dishes as well as modern interpretations of Cantonese cuisine.
I recently revisited this restaurant after many years, and I am delighted to report that the food quality remains exceptional. The service was amazing, attentive, and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The highlight of my meal was the fried chicken, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful, just as I remembered. The dessert was equally impressive, a delightful way to end the meal. It's evident that this place has maintained its high standards over the years. It continues to be a gem, offering consistently excellent food and service.

Step inside a palace and go back in time… truly a dinning experience!!! This Michelin star restaurant inside the legendary Shangri-La restaurant! The red & gold theme restaurant is filled with beautiful paintings and chandelier is art in itself!!! The cuisine is presented in a magnificent setting .. we came here and ate 2 different set menu so that we can sample the various flavor … expensive? Yes… but it will give you a memorable experience that will stay with you a lifetime…

Nice atmosphere and service overall. The food was decent. But found a hair in one of the noodle dishes, which was unfortunate. The manager came to apologize and gave us a free dessert as compensation.

Great service, and enjoyed the fried fish dish and char siu. The hot sauces are pretty spicy! We were gifted a red bean swan pastry dessert at the end as well!

Last visit was back in 1994.! Traditional interior, beautiful decor, chose the 6 course set lunch option for $498. Found attentive service. The standout dish was the Michelin starred signature beef brisket noodle soup.

Shang Palace – A Timeless Cantonese Masterpiece (17 Years Michelin-Starred!) Dining at Shang Palace, the legendary Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant at Kowloon Shangri-La, is like stepping into an opulent culinary temple where tradition meets perfection. Having held a Michelin star for 17 consecutive years (previously two stars!), this is not just a meal—it’s an imperial feast fit for royalty. 🏮 The Ambiance – Classic Chinese Grandeur The moment you enter, you’re greeted by ornate chandeliers, intricate wood carvings, and plush banquet-style seating—a regal yet warm setting that screams old-world Hong Kong luxury. The vibe is elegant, refined, and authentically Cantonese, with impeccable service to match. 🍽️ The Tasting Menu – A Symphony of Cantonese Excellence Every dish was a masterclass in texture, balance, and wok hei (breath of the wok). Here’s why this menu deserves its Michelin star: 🖤 Crispy Fish Maw with Black Vinegar Sauce A divine crunch followed by a tangy-sweet glaze—the fish maw was light yet luxurious, with the black vinegar adding a sophisticated depth. 🐍 Roasted Crispy Eel with Fried Ginger & Honey Sticky, caramelized, and impossibly crisp—the eel melted like savory candy, while the honey-glazed ginger gave it a zingy contrast. 🌊 Marinated Red Jellyfish in Scallion Oil & X.O. Sauce A textural marvel—bouncy, crunchy jellyfish soaked in aromatic scallion oil and the umami bomb of X.O. sauce. An addictive starter. 🍲 Shredded Chicken & Abalone Thick Soup Silky, rich, and packed with treasures—tender abalone slivers and velvety broth that tasted like liquid gold. 🦀 Deep-Fried Crab Claw Coated with Minced Shrimp A Cantonese classic done flawlessly—the golden, airy crust gave way to juicy crab meat, all wrapped in a bouncy shrimp mousse. 🥩 Wok-Fried Normandy Beef with Black Pepper & Aged Lily Bulbs The tender beef cubes were seared to smoky perfection, with 9-year-old lily bulbs adding a subtle floral sweetness. The black pepper kick was chef’s kiss. 🍚 Lobster Broth Seafood Rice with Crispy Rice A showstopper—the bisque-like lobster broth was poured tableside over plump seafood and crunchy rice, creating a party of textures. 🍋 Finger Lime Mango Pomelo Sago + Gold-Flecked Brown Sugar Cake The modern twist on mango pomelo sago (with bursty finger lime caviar) was refreshingly tart, while the gold-dusted brown sugar cake was sticky, fragrant, and decadent. 🌟 Why It’s Still a Michelin Star (Even After Downgrade to 1 Star) Yes, it used to have two stars, but make no mistake—this is still elite Cantonese cuisine. The downgrade might reflect Michelin’s shifting trends, but Shang Palace sticks to its guns: time-honored techniques, premium ingredients, and flawless execution. 💯 The Verdict – A Must for Cantonese Cuisine Connoisseurs If you want authentic, high-end Cantonese food in Hong Kong, Shang Palace remains unbeatable. The vibe is timeless, the service is polished, and the flavors? Pure magic. 5/5 stars – A culinary heirloom that deserves its place in history.

Dropped by for lunch with 3 pax. Limited tummy space so can’t order much. Got the gentleman to recommend and go with his recommendations. It was so so good! Everything was just on point, truly a gem. In the end, we couldn’t finished our dishes In my humble opinion, its goose is easily 1 of the BEST in HK. Tender with crispy skin with a layer of fats in it! Will definitely be back when in Hong Kong! Services were impeccable, staffs are all friendly and approachable. Thank you for the wonderful dining experiences! Cheers

Food is just okay, disappointed with the fried rice but quite surprised by the free dessert (dried tangerine peel with red bean filling) provided to every table. Staff are pretty nice and helpful.

Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay is a luxurious hotel located in Shenzhen, offering polished rooms and suites with stunning bay views. The hotel features five restaurants, a fitness center, and a lounge. Situated 17 km from Overseas Chinese Town East, the property provides convenient access to popular attractions. Guests can enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine at the hotel's restaurant and make use of the various amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, bar, and garden.
Great room with beautiful view. Also ordered room service to our room, and it was great. Many food choices for breakfast, however it’s get very crowded at 8:45am, recommend to go earlier or before 8:30 to avoid the crowd. The location is very good, only few minutes walk to the shopping mall.

Nice hotel with a great view and luxury room. High class breakfast quality. If you order a lot of stuff from an online shop, the concierge will deliver it to your room.
Riki — Google review
The hotel has a very convenient location, with proximity to malls and small shops. The building itself is 62 floors, and rooms start from the 45th floor and higher. Great breakfast with a huge variety of food options (vegan, spicy, etc.). The staff is exceptionally nice, laundry was also immaculate with their packing style.

What a great stay at the Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan! Sam Chen and his team were so welcoming and took care of us the whole stay. As Marriott members, we appreciated the upgrade to the spectacular executive suite. The view and luxury experience was amazing and the club level was the perfect space to just relax. I enjoyed the swimming pool and steam+jacuzzi. The hotel location is perfect, we walked to many shops and restaurants and quick taxi ride to many tourist spots. After we checked out, I forgot to ask for a receipt and Sam easily emailed it to me within hours of my request. The hotel is gold standard service and the perfect place to relax and enjoy your visit, be it for tourism or business. We are looking forward to returning!

❌ Terrible Experience – Not Recommended This hotel is simply unbelievable. Poor Hygiene: The bathroom and shower walls had visible mold. The carpet and sofa were heavily stained, making the room feel dirty and unpleasant. Price vs. Quality Mismatch: They claim not to provide basic amenities in the name of “environmental protection,” yet the room rates are as high as a five-star hotel. With such poor quality, it doesn’t even meet the standards of a business hotel. Unprofessional Service: The receptionist was unfriendly. At checkout, they quietly added about RMB 1,000 to the bill. When asked, they said it was a deposit. But there was no prior explanation, no receipt, and no transparency. Overall Disappointment: I’ve stayed in many hotels in Shenzhen, and I chose this one only because it belongs to the Marriott group. Unfortunately, it turned out to be far below expectations. 👉 Conclusion: For the same price, you can find much better hotels in Shenzhen. If you’re okay with this level of quality, I’d recommend staying at a business hotel for less than half the price instead.

Nice friendly and efficient check in although no recognition for my Platinum Status! Room as always has a great view although maintenance of the bathroom sliding doors needs attention we couldn’t close them properly. Only two towels of each description which is a bit poor if they don’t offer turndown.
David C — Google review
I stay here regularly on trips to Shenzhen. The rooms are on the 45th floor and higher in this building, so all have great views. Nice club lounge if you have status. There is a decent sushi restaurant on the 44th floor, though it’s a bit pricy. The buffet on the 43 floor (the lobby) has an obscene selection of food for dinner (and frankly breakfast too). Some days after sweating my buns off at a vendor, I just don’t have the energy to leave the hotel, so thankful there are good options here. Plenty of other food options around the hotel, it’s in a mall area so lots to choose from. Rooms are nicely appointed, bathrooms are large, bed is comfortable. Air conditioning works well (if you know Shenzhen, you know this is important!) There’s a chaise lounge for two up against the window, just a great place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Nice hotel. Superb breakfast buffet. Specious room. 52 floor room with amazing view of Shenzhen. WiFi speed is very poor I am expecting much better from the Marriott hotel.

Wolfgang Puck Kitchen offers a mix of classic and unique dishes that set it apart from its more famous namesake. Despite some negative reviews, the restaurant surprises many with its quality food and pleasant ambiance. The chicken burger stands out for its tender texture, while the drinks are reasonably priced. Airport staff can also enjoy a discount on their meals.
The problem with bad reviews… they are like a bad credit rating, or the stigma of popping your pants at school camp when you were 5… they follow the restaurant around forever. Now what to say about Wolfgang Pucks at HKIA? If I had read the reviews first most likely- like a cane toad looking to cross a busy Highway… I would have stayed away. But fortunately I didn’t read the reviews first. I dinner just after 12. The order was a Wagyu burger and a IPA. The manager told me due to some weird licensing issue the IPA (Goose IPA) would have to be served in a paper cup. I wasn’t too upset, I own restaurants - I know these licensing issues come up time to time. Anyway he was very apologetic and ended up giving me a couple of cups to make up for the inconvenience. The burger came promptly was good- cooked medium raw as requested. Comes with ample fries (skin on) and gerkins on the side. Price is fine. You’re in the airport of the most expensive city in Asia, maybe the world. A burger and beer sets you back $36 usd . I found the service from the manager, who I assume was a local- very good. Most of the other staff were Philippino. I would say - level of service is on par or better than most HK restaurants- infact sparkling compared to some local restaurants in the city where serving staff literally Chuck the plate of food at you! Recommended. Simple.
Alun E — Google review
I was stranded due to flight cancellation. CX staff gave me and other passengers HKD75 voucher and informed us to ask the eatery first if it can be utilized. I asked the Filipina and she said yes. I ordered steak which is apparently one of the most expensive items on the menu. The steak came, it was too salty. I asked for an extra butter which is just another mini pack of common butter in supermarkets. The Chinese elderly staff kept insisting the potatoes were not burnt when I queried him. Totally not worthed. Service sucks! Read those horrible reviews concluding the services were better towards the non-mainlanders, and I am not even a mainlander yet I received such a sub-par service level from a brand name like this!!! You can get a cheaper and more delicious food elsewhere.
Djoeis S — Google review
Not a bad experience just a poor choice of food. Margarita pizza was okay nothing crazy just an easy snack. Mango smoothie was super delicious. The vegetable lasgna however was a big disappointment. Could be matter of taste but flavor was not there. Build up sucked and it was drenched in some white milky sauce.
Serdar D — Google review
Check your food before eating! We were so hungry and didn’t realise the chicken we were having was a bit raw. The manager insisted to give us 20% off from our order. However, I thought they shouldn’t charge us for this at all. Very disappointed.
Jo M — Google review
Hong Kong is finally reopening to the rest of the world. One of the restaurants that you will find open (7am to 8pm daily) in the arrivals hall is the Wolfgang Puck Kitchen. This is a good place to grab a seat, a drink and/or snack while awaiting friends or family arriving soon. Similarly, if you are arriving at the airport well in advance of your scheduled departure and have time to kill, Wolfgang Puck is a good place to do so. We stopped by recently while awaiting outbound flight and enjoyed the quiet evening environs. Menu was reduced to just bar snacks and pizza at the time which is completely understandable given the little passenger traffic still. Leffe was fine, wine just ok. Sweet potato fries tasted as expected. Really, just the sort of thing we were looking for prior to entering the restricted area of the airport where options are extremely limited at the moment. Note, prior to the pandemic shutting down the city and the airport, we had dinner here enjoying a decent pizza and hamburger as well.
Brad — Google review
Not sure why they opened a fast food style restaurant in the airport , it kind if ruined their name because of the services and atmosphere. Food not good either
孤獨的美食家 — Google review
Food was subpar, we ordered baked meatballs and salt& pepper chicken wings, the meatballs are terribly salty, chicken wings dry and cold overcooked, terrible service, the staff are obviously discriminative towards Chinese mainlanders, all smily and friendly towards westerners, whereas frigid and guarded towards us, We asked if we can use Alipay and was directed straight into the cashier and paid upfront before the food was even served, later we found everybody else were paying after they have the meal, misunderstanding? Maybe, or maybe not, but overall not a good dinning experience.
Joe E — Google review
I’m afraid to say the service here is a terrible advertisement for Hong Kong - and a visit here is a truly bad start for any new arrival visiting the city hoping to experience the hospitality for which HK is known. Staff seem to think they work in a cha chaan teng, where it’s not uncommon for brusque if rapid service. Here you get the brusqueness but only having waited an age for someone to bother to come and serve you. Once you have ordered (this in itself takes a while given your preferred choice of food or drink likely isn’t available), you wait eons for it (in this case soup) to arrive, only for you to have to send it back on account of it being colder than their overpriced beer. You watch as the waiter grumpily trudges towards the kitchen where nothing happens for another 15 minutes. It’s exasperating. I would care a lot less if this was somewhere else but given it will be many visitors’ first port of call, it just leaves a poor impression. And this a time when HK is trying hard to attract more international visitors.

The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen is a luxurious urban hotel that embodies elegance and sophistication. Inspired by the city's art scene, the hotel features beautifully designed spaces, including a locally inspired spa, private dining restaurants, and inspiring event venues. Guests staying at The Ritz-Carlton Club Level can indulge in extra touches of luxury.
Lovely hotel, love the view at the bathroom. Food was good, had 6 types of pillow to select, friendly staff. Gym was great, best hotel gym I’ve been. They even had free body fat measuring machine and trainers

Our family with teens totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which offered us top-notch customer service. We especially appreciated the pleasant conversations with Mr. Austin L., obviously a true asset of The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen. The location of this hotel is great too. The bathroom may need some update with nightlights.

Very good location with free parking. The most impressive part of my stay was the executive lounge. I had a wonderful free afternoon tea, with stunning view. You can basically eat five meals in the lounge. The service at the lounge is also excellent, with staff can call you by name, and pretty much know what you want if you have visited before. The rooms are a bit old, but provides all you need. I like the high quality slippers and I took a few pairs home😂

- Used a 35k point voucher—excellent redemption value. - Booked directly on points without elite status, so can’t comment on lounge access or upgrades. - Service throughout the hotel was exceptional; staff were consistently warm and attentive. - The onsite manager stood out for his hospitality and insightful local recommendations. (so sorry I forgot his name :( if i can find it i will update! ) - The swimming pool offers impressive night views of the city skyline; swimming caps are required but conveniently provided. - Guest rooms feature a classic early-2000s Chinese five-star design—slightly dated, but still elegant and comfortable. Despite the traditional decor, the overall quality and attention to detail remain at a true five-star standard.

Had an absolutely phenomenal 3 night stay at the Futian location in Shenzhen. The room was immaculate and spacious with a comfortable layout and great view of the city (and the light show that plays across the skyline on the weekends). Great continental breakfast with cuisines from all over the world giving you some nice variety between trying the different local cuisines. The in-house Italian Restaurant, Palleto, was delicious and great value for the quality of service. What really sets this Ritz apart for me was the service. From the moment we stepped onto the premises we were greeted with smiles, professionalism and eagerness to provide exceptional service. This was put on full display when I required full privacy for an important meeting call at midnight. Despite not officially supporting this type of request, Jack personally stayed through the night to ensure I would have no trouble finding a private space and thanks to him, things went without a hitch. Unfortunately for me, this wasn't the only time I had to put their service quality to the test. I had left my coat in the closet after checking out and within 24 hours they had reached out to me about my missing coach and since I had already left the country, they offered to express ship my coat to HK. But wait there is more, when the package didn't arrive in time (due to a holiday in HK), they continue to help coordinate with me to get the package shipped back to Shenzhen and reshipped to another location of my choice. A total mess and nothing I'd ever expect any hotel to help deal with but it really goes to show the level of care and great lengths Ritz Carlton will go for their customers. I'm incredibly impressed and appreciative of these good natured people. Looking forward to my next stay!

My Thoughts on the Renewed Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen As one of Shenzhen’s pioneering luxury hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen carries the memories of the city’s westward expansion. This landmark, which witnessed Shenzhen’s meteoric rise, has been in operation for sixteen years. Though time has left its mark, the hotel’s impeccable service has completely reshaped my preconceptions of the Ritz-Carlton brand. Whether during a three-day stay two years ago or a brief overnight visit this time, I truly experienced the essence of "Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen"—its professionalism and warmth transcend the limitations of its hardware. The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen boasts 280 guest rooms and suites, with some newly renovated ones now unveiled. The refreshed rooms uphold the brand’s generous interpretation of space, maintaining a comfortable baseline of 50㎡ for the smallest units. The upgrade introduces five new room types, including the Elegant Room, Elegant Garden View Room, Elegant Deluxe Room, Urban Explorer Suite, and Oasis Terrace Suite. The renovation spans all categories, from standard rooms and corner suites to open-plan layouts and the iconic terrace suites. Notably, the price difference between old and new base rooms remains a modest ¥200+, a rarity among renovated hotels, reflecting the owner’s careful balance between hardware upgrades and long-term operations. In Shenzhen—a city forever young—the Ritz-Carlton’s hardware may not rival that of newer luxury competitors. Yet it is precisely this sixteen-year legacy that highlights its unwavering commitment to service. Many "blue-blooded" staff members have remained since its opening, their professionalism honed over time. This enduring dedication is deeply moving; such timeless "reliability" is the finest testament to true luxury and the reason the hotel has maintained its stellar reputation over the years. In the cyclical world of hospitality, new and old are never simple opposites. New hotels bring fresh energy, while established icons like The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen cultivate an irreplicable warmth through time. As Shenzhen’s first-generation luxury hotels embark on renovations, Four Seasons unveiling its model room, Langham’s lounge evolving after 18 years, and Grand Hyatt’s plans for next year, The St. Regis remains the sole holdout. Now the transformed Ritz-Carlton with its ¥2,000+ pricing is poised to carve a new legend under Futian’s skyline. It may not be flashy, but its return carries undeniable weight.

Burger King is a well-known fast-food chain that offers grilled burgers, fries, and shakes. The American chain first entered Hong Kong in the 1980s but left due to poor business, only to return in 2003 with an airport location and multiple branches across the city. However, it faced challenges such as allegations of using expired ingredients and sudden closures. Despite this, one branch remains on The Peak today.

Comfortable restaurant. The burgers lacked any sauce and, likewise, we're very dry. Pricing was pretty good and they do advertise very clearly all the good deals unlike the Burgers king at Coco park which only show the more pricier items on the menu.

Great option for a hotel during our short-stay in Shenzhen. Easily accessible from the metro and short-walk to an underground mall, shopping centre and restaurants. Service was fantastic and friendly, going the extra mile for my birthday. Rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. Pool and spa facilities were excellent (need a swimming cap to swim). We only had a drink / snack in the lobby lounge, which was good and not too over priced. But most of the good food is outside! Definitely recommend for a stay in Shenzhen. More about our trip on ABC Dad UK.

Stayed recently. The room was fine enough. The lounge was good. A lot of cake!!!! Breakfast was good although perhaps less-so if you're a traditionalist for a full English. Location is superb. Sauna facility also great. I reached out with feedback about our stay and was very impressed by how the staff responded.

My stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen was truly exceptional. 1. The room and overall comfort exceeded expectations. 2. The bathroom was a highlight – fully automated, warm, and equipped with every function: water, drying, and more. 3. The service was flawless, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect – a truly luxurious stay that I would highly recommend. Finally a robot to serve you coffee ! Yes amazing

Beautiful luxury hotel in the Futian area, the building is one of the skyscrapers part of the Shenzhen light show. The staff is extremely kind, attentive and professional. The rooms are big, clean and have a beautiful bathroom with both shower and a hot tub. The all day dining restaurant is very good and breakfast also. I would definitely recommend this stay to everyone in the area.

An exceptional hotel with impeccable service. Especially when we were stuck in hotel due to the typhoon. Specially commending the front desk staff Jennie Huang and Eva. We accidentally left our son ‘s watch in the room safe. The hotel employee Eva kindly and promptly arranged to send back the watch to us. We got it back the next day. Such a relief! Thank you! The room service crew also great, location is very good close to Futian station and Coco Park. Will come back to the hotel if back in Shengzgen. Thank you!!!!

This was the best hotel I have ever been to. Big, rooms on high floors with beautiful views. Nice spa area with sauna, turkish bath, vhirpool pool, ice pool and more. You can really relax and detox in came you decide to come here. P.S. Breakfast was marvelous. You can even ask for custom made scrambled eggs.

I had a corner room which fengshui was not great. The feel of the room was oppressive at night with the curtains closed. I did not realise the rooms are usually square in shape (but the corner room was not). The furniture and furnishings are very dated. Housekeeping did not want to go into my room more than necessary (I bumped into them and they would hand my toiletries from the cart and asked if I still needed them to go in). Room service food was not good.

Shake Shack at New Town Plaza is a trendy spot that elevates fast-food favorites with gourmet flair. Known for its delicious burgers and creamy frozen custard, this eatery delivers the same delightful flavors as its U.S. counterparts. Diners rave about the juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, and perfectly fried fries that are crunchy on the outside yet fluffy within. The atmosphere remains clean despite the bustling crowd, making it an enjoyable experience overall.
We went on Sunday and the restaurant is quite busy. However, since we brought dogs to an event nearby, we decided to get takeaway to sit outside the mall. Burgers are fresh and tasty and eye pleasing. My doggo approves, too! Service was quick and friendly.

Food was good. They did the fries extra crispy as requested but cheese sauce was served in tiny plastic container on the side. They serve beer here which was interesting. The small shake was delicious and just the right size. Almost impossible to get a table as place so very busy, perhaps they could consider adding tables out front in the mall area? No vegan options - not even the mushroom burger is vegan. And they don’t serve peanut butter shakes.

Great burger, strawberry shake and amazing fries. The beef patty was juicy and the bacon was nice and crispy. The fries were also well fried, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Considering the volume of people in this restaurant the premise was kept clean. A great experience.
Wendy — Google review
Unexpectedly, the hotdog is so yummy. I liked the taste of the sausage, not very salty (just right for me), and its toasted bread was crispy. The hotdog separately served with fresh lettuce and a slice of tomato. The burger is undoubtedly good. I also recommended the tea mixed lemonade to whom they don't like their drink full of sugar.
Tom L — Google review
This location of Shake Shack is likely one of the worst I’ve ever visited. The bun was so soaked with sauce and oil that it felt like it had been drenched in water. The side dishes were unrecognizable and lacked flavor, with the fries being the only redeeming part of the meal.
Daniel L — Google review
Ordered the Shack for One. The single burger was decent overall. Beef patty was moist and tasty. The side order of chicken bites was a major let down - overly salty! That alone was enough to ruin the dining experience. I wouldn't be back cos there are a lot of other better dinning options available.

Sheraton offers a delightful dining experience at Mezzo Italian Restaurant and Ritz-Carlton's Paletto. Mezzo boasts an elegant and chic setting with simple yet ambient decor, serving dishes made from the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients. The Shenzhen property is highly recommended for its helpful staff, wonderful food spread at the breakfast area and club lounge. Guests appreciate the excellent check-in experience provided by Billy and commend Ms. Candy, Ms.
Since I had no trouble checking in (unlike other reviewers), I have to give this hotel a solid 5*. One of the best Marriotts in China, frankly. Room is very spacious and comfortable. The staff is consistently courteous, but most of them can barely speak English, so if you can't communicate in Mandarin (evidently the preferred dialect) or Cantonese, you might be frustrated. Any problem will eventually be solved, however. My one complaint is trivial: the thermostat is by the bedside, behind a big unwieldy table and under a low-hanging lamp. Congratulations if you can get close enough to read the buttons without banging your knee on the table or your head on the silly lamp. They should just put the thermostat at eye level on another wall.

I would firstly to thank Maria she was absolutely 💯 from check in to check out. I had 2 customers with me and she looked after them as good as she with myself. Upgraded them for lounge access and advised us on places to go and visit. Overall 5/5 ,or 10/10 I am a titanium Elite member and I can honestly say this is by far the best managed hotel i have visited in years.

Luxury hotel with beautiful room design and a great breakfast buffet. The staffs are very friendly and willing to help even in the late night due to the water leakage from the ceiling in our room around 10:30 pm. They offered another room that was equivalent in size and design. During our stay for 3 days and 2 nights, we had such a great and relaxing time in the hotel. Even though we had the water leakage issue from the air conditioning system in our room, we still can say that we enjoyed our stay with Sheraton because of supportive and helpful staffs of the hotel.

When you arrive at a 5-star hotel after a long flight and the check-in counter is overwhelmed... Would you come again? Cost cuts? Or just lack of competence? The room was superb, wide, very clean. well maintained. Everything I needed was available. Toothbrush and paste were available, but I missed the razor. What spoiled "the party" was a 48 minutes waiting in line to check-in; only 2 staff, and the check-in system of 2 decades ago.

The hotel is new but with limited options for meals. The Chinese restaurant’s capacity is very limited especially during the weekend but very tasty. Space dedicated to kids are also small and toys are very used which contrasts greatly with the rest of hotel. You need to bring your own caps if you want to use the pool. Also it’s very difficult to book a 7 seats car through taxis app.

This is a beautiful new property in Shenzhen and is now officially my new go to here. The staff are super helpful, the food spread at the main breakfast area and club lounge are wonderful. I especially want to thank Billy for an excellent check in experience. In addition, I want to thank Ms. Candy, Ms. Coral, and the rest of the club lounge team for helping me get a package delivered to the hotel that was held up in customs. They went above and beyond. The corner suite is superb, the bed is comfortable and the elite perks are exactly what I hope for during all my stays. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay.

Nicely upgraded room and breakfast. There are two unhappy things. One is that I was never told that fitness is under construction, even when I checked in. Further there is a temporary fitness on ballroom floor with a on-going conference. It was really hard to find it and no weight training stuff. Second thing is about lounge. Lounge was nice and food was exellent. However I could not bring any beverages to my room. It is not normal from other marriott hotels in China. Except for these two things, seems a fine.

Nestled in Shenzhen's Nanshan district, Shangri-La Nanshan offers easy access to attractions like He Xiangning Art Museum and Happy Valley Theme Park. The hotel boasts a range of amenities including a restaurant, room service, and 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool, spa facilities, and attentive concierge service. With comfortable rooms and delicious dining options, it's an ideal retreat for travelers seeking convenience and comfort in Shenzhen.
Situated above a railway station and a shopping mall, it’s convenient to reach by any forms of transportation. I was impressed by the beautiful green-themed design with lots of arches around the hotel, high ceiling, gives a sense of coziness. The check out process was swift and they were nice enough to offer late check out until 2pm. The room is lovely with everything you need. Bathroom is emerald marble design and it’s separated from the toilet. There are many sockets for different adaptors and they also provided a cable for guests to use. Turndown service was good with sweet treats. Restaurants are great in general, lots of options in breakfast and they tasted delicious. Gym is spacious with all sorts of equipments you can think of, even reformer Pilates machine and infrared light room (for rental). The pool is long and there’s another jacuzzi pool next to it which doesn’t require you wearing a swimming cap. Highly recommended this hotel.

A new Shangri-la hotel in the Nanshan area of Shenzhen, artistically decorated, making it rather photogenic but perhaps a little more towards the feminine taste. It is conveniently situated above a mall and station to several metro lines, but apart from the mall, not much within walking distances. Room was a little on the small side for such a modern hotel of such class, but was well designed and furnitured, and with easy to use of controls for lights, blinds etc, and with wireless charging. We booked a Horizon room and had one of the nicest afternoon teas we had from the Horizon Lounge.

(Translated by Google) It's a bit superficial, with a strong Internet celebrity check-in style (it looks good, the scenery is beautiful), the sound insulation is not good in terms of hardware, the bedside plug-in board has poor contact, and the makeup mirror in the room is broken and falls off immediately. . . When we checked in, no one took us to the elevator (the elevator we took down from the 66th floor was on the other side of the building, and the sign was not clear, or maybe I was too blind to see it). The management was chaotic. The breakfast has a rich variety but the overall taste is not good. The buns are cold, the seating is messy, the food is not good, and the coffee is okay. On the second day after I checked in, I happened to encounter a staff member taking still pictures of food, which slightly hindered the guests picking up their meals. In the lobby and lobby bar, I encountered several guests who came specifically to take photos, and they took a bag of clothes and changed into different clothes. My husband and I brought some granules of traditional Chinese medicine with dates on them and packed in compartments. Those that have not been eaten are sealed and those that have been eaten are opened. Because the plastic box is very hard, I didn’t pick it up. You can't cut off the eaten ones and throw them away, but obviously there are still unopened ones in the box. We put the medicine next to the water purifier in the room, and when we came back on the first day, we found that it had been thrown away. We didn't care, but it was thrown away again the next day (the same traditional Chinese medicine was not thrown away in hotels in Shanghai and Jiangsu a few days ago). We called customer service to explain the situation and they sincerely apologized, but it was too late and our stuff could not be recovered. They said they wanted to send fruit to apologize, but I said no. If the problem is not solved, this item cannot be compensated. I reported this issue because I felt that the housekeeping department needs to train employees to identify which items can be thrown away and which items cannot be thrown away. Afterwards, the room manager and the duty manager came to apologize and said that I declined the breakfast invitation (breakfast is included in the room rate, thank you); I also took back the fruit that was sent to me and would check out tomorrow. The two came and asked in detail what kind of medicine it was, where it was placed, and whether it might be collected by family members (we have three rooms in total, my husband and I have one room, and no one would come to collect our things), and informed them I and the others went through the trash can and didn't find the Chinese medicine I mentioned. I have an occupational disease, and I hate iron but not steel. A new hotel needs to be adjusted in all aspects, but the service industry is a one-off hotel, and not every guest will come back.

Very nice restaurant. Value for money! There is a lot of lunch set choices and price is range from $35-70. Lunch set includes soup, bread, main course and drink. Afternoon tea set includes main course and drink. Egg benedict is very nice which the bread is kind of danish. Pork chop is also good and portion is good enough. There is ceiling to floor window so you can also enjoy the busy city view.

The Food Factory claims to serve really high quality food at a very affordable price, but of course it’s not. You don’t have high expectation when you dine in Mong Kok, but it was a rather disappointing dining experience at the Food Factory. Visiting on an early Monday evening at 6pm, the Food Factory was quite empty even though it’s a public holiday. There was only one waiter working at the moment, which was fine. But this waiter wasn’t really friendly. He told me to wait a bit at the entrance very bluntly. I thought, okay, maybe there were staff resting inside, or the restaurant wasn’t ready yet. So I waited. But it turned out that the waiter wanted to clear some dishes on a table which no one was waiting for instead of leading me inside to where my friend was seated. And the table we got was horrible. It was blown by strong air con. We were too kind to tolerate the freezing air for half of the meal. But we couldn’t stand it anymore when the second main was served, so we asked the waiter if he could adjust the air con. In reply, he helped us to move to another table, which was fine. Three parties entered after that, and none of them could take that table. Why couldn’t the Food Factory do something about it if it’s intolerable by your customers? Back to food, we ordered set A, thinking that it appeared to be a good deal… When we picked up the eating utensils, we were a bit surprised by how dirty they were…They were a bit greasy with water stains…Gosh…We really didn’t want to use them… Appetizer was the best dish in this meal. Yet, it’s still far from satisfactory. White bread stripes were toasted to become “Toasts”, which were actually toasties…For each toasty, there was a lump of apple sauce on top of a piece of scallop. The scallop was quite nice, meaty and juicy. Toasty and apple sauce were ordinary. The lobster soup was okay as there were pieces of lobster meat inside. But the soup itself was a bit powdery. You can decide yourself whether it’s worth HKD$12 to top up for this. This Paella Rice was more like risotto. The sauce made the rice really wet and stuffing. The seafood on top was really fishy…even for me who could eat really fishy stuff…We struggled to finished the seafood and most of the rice so as to not waste food… And here comes the most disappointing dish of all - Slow Cook Whole Beef Rib. I had never had any rib that is this fat…As you can see from the picture, there was a whole piece of fat on the left at the bottom, and the top stack of beef was all wrapped with a thick layer of fat…And the meat tasted funny too, as in being prepared with lots of soda powder to make it tender…Also, we were not asked how we want the rib to be done…The asparagus and purple sweet potato on the side were good though. Dessert was Creme Brulee. We already lost all expectation at this point and just wanted to finish it and leave. We regretted trusting Facebook post/IG story and picked The Food Factory. For this price, we could have much better service and quality food on the island side. :(

So I highly recommend a whole tomato to make it perfect! - 📌Slow Cook Beef RIB EYE - $168 👉I am really a beef lover, and I eat meat everywhere I go! This piece is as big as the palm of my hand, and it can be eaten with a few pieces of sauce. Most restaurants serve baked potato wedges or mashed potatoes, but this one is special. It uses purple potatoes as a side dish, which is a surprise! - In addition, it costs $15 to order the lobster soup. around 00 (Original) We’ve been seeking a way to satisfy your stomach full with lots of fun! 👇 - 📌Risotto With Squid and Mussel in Ink Sauce - $128 👉一黎到賣相我已經知道我嗌得岩,墨汁好香,係有果種原汁原味既感覺, Risotto好軟熟,帶少少淋身,係我鍾意既口感,青口份量都唔少,要講少少既係, 因為墨汁本身已經好夠味,但佢加左少少蕃茄感覺搶左同埋破壞果種原味, 而且同墨汁既色水賣相唔係太夾!
