We went for dinner on a Friday night. Was nice and busy. Good vibe. Small space so does get noisy. The food was great. Bao buns were amazing, we had the sticky chicken ones. Only gave the service 4 star as they brought my husband the wrong main course, but corrected it quickly and then when the bill came there was an extra main course on it and a random charging of fries. But once pointed out they corrected that quickly too. The waiters were very sweet and attentive.

Stopped by for a few drinks. Did not really get a chance to have a full meal, just their jalapeño poppers which were good. Love the chilled vibes, and the staff were just so cool!

Best brasserie I had been to in ages. Large selection of craft beer. The staff is very informative, helpful and friendly. They described every drink with accurate detail. Very affordable. Only had the wings and they were nice as well. Loved the coating. The parking is quite small but we managed to get a spot before peak hour

It was my first time here as someone who’s visiting from GP The place gets wild and crowded. We came for an artist we paid entrance for only for no show up or explanation. They did get kabza the small to perform which is ok but we were not there for him. The tequila special is ok for someone that’s trying to black out, I don’t know what kind of tequila they use but it tasted like poison we had to give them away. The hubbly guys are completely useless and rude. So if you’re looking for 3rd/4th location when you’re already out of it and just there for a beer then this is the place to be I guess. Nothing crazy or fancy, just a spot.

I really enjoy their platters and combos, their pizza! Deboinairs really need to take notes. Cool place to take your significant other or your crew but they have great views for those ista snaps. NB: The manager guy needs to be humble and treat customers correct otherwise good vibes.

I’ve gone to a few jazz nights here & I absolutely love what they’re doing for the culture, especially for jazz music and just music as a whole. Their DJ also plays really cool music to listen and vibe to. The atmosphere & decor is really cool & it’s really a cool space. The food is a little limited but going there for the music is worth it. Love their alcoholic drinks as well.

Everything about The Chairman is chef’s kiss from the welcome at the door, styling of the interior, the warmth of the staff and of course the yummy food and incredible live music! Some of my best memories have been made at The Chairman.

Peaceful during the day and an absolute vibe during live music sessions. Mellow. The ambience here is amazing, and the art, pieces of furniture, and other features are just breathtaking. Not a very large variety of food items depending on your day of visit, but the offerings are great, particularly the pizza.

Watched a live performance by Umzulu phaqa. Great atmosphere, great service, love the people that go there. Just had drinks, it’s a bit pricey but worth it.

We battled to find the place initially - since it was our first visit - but well worth the hunt! View was 😍😍😍 and the bunny chows were delicious. I ordered the beans bunny and my husband ordered the butter chicken bunny chow. Didn't taste much like butter chicken but it was a delicious curry and we both thoroughly enjoyed them! The "Passion Pleasure" cocktail was also delicious!!

Panaroma Bar has stood the test of time. It’s still a lovely poolside venue with ocean views. The platters are good too, if you can get someone to serve you. It took 30 min just to get some menus, and another 20 to receive drinks. The food was delicious (once it eventually arrived!). Luckily we had time to kill, so we tolerated the poor service or lack thereof. Otherwise we would have walked out with the other patrons who weren’t served.

On this beautiful winter day in Durban with plenty of sunshine, I decided to enjoy lunch at the Panorama Bar at the Elangeni Maharani Hotel. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated outside on the stunning deck, offering breathtaking views of Durban's coastline. Our waitress, Samke, was attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt Welcome from the start. She took our drink orders quickly—my piña colada was beautifully presented and refreshingly delicious, served within a reasonable timeframe. My friend, who was driving, ordered a Coke, as he couldn't indulge in alcohol. We considered ordering two pizzas and decided to start with one, planning to order the second halfway through. The Mexican pizza was visually enticing and immediately beckoned us to dig in. It was generously sized and delicious. Halfway through, we were so satisfied that our attentive waiter understood and kindly held off on placing the second order. Samke’s friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and extensive menu knowledge made our experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to this fantastic spot. Overall, it was a memorable and delightful lunch experience.

Absolutely stunning views of the Durban beachfront from here. Beautiful set-up around the pool area. Fantastic cocktails. Friendly & efficient waitress. The only downfall was the food. 3 of the 4 people in our group ordered burgers with chips. The burger buns & chips were stale. Chips tasted like it was made a few hours earlier, reheated & served to us. Very disappointing for a 4-5 star hotel.

Just wow. 45mins for drinks to be delivered. There was apparently and ice issue. The mojkto was basically a mouth full of lime seeds and the strawberry daiquiri had an identity crisis... no strawberries went into the making of this. Classic hotel bar. Nice view, but wouldn’t bother.

I think they are overpriced. The price to enter went from R100 to R150. But what for ??? The club was not renovated or revamped. There's nothing new there, there's no new facilities etc. So what exactly are you charging extra for ? The only thing that's nice is the music, nothing else. I would not recommend going here. It's just kak. Also, your crowd seems to be late teens early 20's most probably college kids, so what is the R150 entrance fee ? Also, even when guests come to your club one or two hours before it closes, you charge the full entrance fee for whatever reason, idk! Not cool guys, there's so many more offerings. A horrible place to be. The only thing this place is known for is fighting and shootings. Do yourself a favour and please stay away from this dangerous club. It’s quite shocking and sad to see what this club has turned into and I will never be going back there again. Please like my review if you’ve shared similar experiences.

Worst place ever ..bouncers are very rude and always find ways to fight and hit the people which is very unprofessional A friend of mine was abused really bad by one of the bouncers .and some of them ask for bribes if you are kicked out of the club. These bouncers really need to be dealt with or rather fiŕed

Good place for youngsters to enjoy a safe environment to chill

Stay far away from the levels party . It is stuck on, no ventilation, little to no service. Getting from point A to B takes skill. The organizers should only sell a set amount of tickets and not be so greedy in turn, creating a more enjoyable experience.

Amazing place, my husband and I had a great night when we were there 3 weeks ago. We will definitely be coming back. The Bathrooms are really clean, the staff is really friendly. The bouncer was really respectful and nice. Definitely worth the 5 stars 🤩😊

It was alittle too hot inside but that was fine because we sat next to a window. Really enjoyed the food. It was really filling. The waiter was kind and polite. The place looked really nice and they played some good music. O do feel like they need to expand their menu.

The place is okay, I expected a bit more. The first time we tried to visit this place end of last year, we got terrible service so we walked out before we could even order. We decided to give it another try. Our waitress Jingles was exceptional. However the food wasn’t, it wasn’t bad but we’ve definitely had better burgers. The burgers were dry and just needed more. I was so disappointed by their ribs yesterday I went there and bought myself rib 600g and 6 wings aside as a take away the ribs were extremely dry I ordered as a take away their fries where burnt and their onion rings did not taste fresh even the oil that was used was like they used old oil that have been used repeatedly , the ribs had no basting didn’t taste grilled at all more or less deep fried ribs than being grilled it was like it was rotten ribs I was not happy to think I even tipped the waiter if only I set and ate my food did not order as take away I would have been able to complain to the manager the food preparation there is not great value for money I’ve never been so disappointed as a restaurant reviewer on tik tok I was so disappointed !

Funny because I underestimated this restaurant passing by. But something drew me in and I'm in LOVE !!!! I kid you not, this is the best restaurant on Florida Road, Durban. Ambiance and service is top tier. The food we had was prepared very well and portion sizes are impressive. My lunch date with my best friend here was one of the best dates.

Such amazing views of the harbour from this restaurant. They have the most amazing cocktails and their food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. They made a mistake with my order, but they were very happy to correct the mistake and I was very happy with my steak. This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants!

Not bad for the first time visit. Adequate food choices and Food that was prepared moderately well. Black chicken breasts with onions and fries with a hidden little spicy bite that's not overbearing -that's something I quite fancy. As with everything in life the service could be improved substantially. Frequently checking on ones patrons is something that I, personally, will never look down on, in actual fact, being perceived to be valued as a paying patron and more frequently checked on is something that needs to specifically be improved on. I don't want to have be dying of thirst before I get service such as a drink. I was fortunate to have a waiter by the name of Mlungisi who was quite attentive and is quite friendly to everyone. Overall, not a bad place and will review it again in the next few months.

Great place with great vibes while the breeze from the water front cools you down, however I wasn't pleased with the green salad... It's sloppy, no effort put into it, it looks like something my 3 year old makes when I say I am on a diet.

uShaka is always a lovely place to visit when coming to Durban. I hadn’t been here since before Covid and was worried when I saw all the negative reviews, however it’s not bad at all. There are staff everywhere to assist, the spaces are kept clean, and the shows, aquarium and slides are all very enjoyable. We were here during off peak season so it was not busy at all. The parking has attendants on the inside and you have to pay at the gate too. The payment at the gate was R21 for about 6 hours, which isn’t too bad. I recommend having some cash as well. It’s important to check the website before planning your trip so you know when is the best time to visit based on what’s available.

uShaka is a beautiful big place to do alot of things, inreally think they did an outstanding job with the layout. The only thing I'd recommend is to improve on the seal show, it's was a little bit of a waist of time, they only have a short briefing then select soemone from the audience to meet a seal, and that's it show is over, I feel they can do a little more than a 5mint show, for me it was a waist the kids could hardly enjoy, the dolphin show was so amazing, got to give it tobthe staff that handles the dolphin show now that definitely worth to see, some areas where closed, and some restaurants are closed, so it's a little bit sad, I'd prefer to go early morning, as midday is extremely busy if you not someone for large groups of people. To view the marine life. They definitely are doing a great job and that you have an opportunity to meet the dolphins personally, but you would need to book ahead of time with them to personally have an experience with the dolphins. But the show you don't need booking.

uShaka Marine World is an incredible place to visit! The aquarium is one of the best I’ve seen, with an amazing variety of marine life and beautifully designed exhibits. The water park adds even more fun, especially for families with children. The atmosphere is vibrant and safe, with plenty of food and entertainment options around. I highly recommend booking tickets in advance, especially during weekends and holidays, as it gets very busy. A must-see attraction in Durban!

Best place to visit around Durban. There are Marine Aquarium, Dolphin and seal shows, Dangerous creature show, water adventures, rope adventure and water parks. Everything totally worth. You can also take seperate tickets for each events, but it's better to take combo tickets. Go for water park if u gonna spend the whole day there. Ticket prices are also not high, but affordable. We really enjoyed it

I've been wanting to go there for ages. I was not disappointed. The staff are really working hard to make it an amazing experience. The exhibits are well maintained. There are lots of shops and more than enough to eat and drink. I will certainly go back and can definitely recommend it.

What a great experience at uShaka Marine World! We wandered through the aquarium and honestly lost track of time—quiet walkways, huge viewing windows, and that lovely hush when a turtle glides past. Even the “non-fish people” in our group ended up pointing things out and taking way too many photos. Outside had a fun, holiday feel. We grabbed an easy lunch, drifted between shops, and caught a dolphin show without planning to—perfect little break for our feet. Salty air, friendly staff, and plenty of shady spots made it an effortless day out. We left sun-tired, smiling, and already talking about coming back.

The Roma Revolving Restaurant hosted us on 28 June 2025 in celebration of my husband’s 50th birthday. It was truly an elegant and memorable dining experience with food that was faultlessly prepared and presented. The hallmark of the evening was certainly the table side preparation of the Chateaubriand and Crepes Suzette, for which Roma is renown, expertly executed by the famous Gino. I last visited Roma in 2014 and now more than 10 years later it remains the Grand Madame of fine dining in Durban. The Roma staff are par excellence adding to the elevated experience.Together with the views offered by this location, these are the ingredients for an exceptional evening out. This grand lady could however do with a refresh to ensure that she doesn’t lose her brilliance. Nonetheless thank you Roma Revolving Restaurant for a wonderful evening.

Beautiful setting with Italian music and a retro vibe with breadsticks and sweet bread served while you wait for the meals to be prepared. Expect to wait for service as this is not a restaurant to visit when you are in a hurry. Appreciate the 360° view of Durban from this revolving restaurant which is one of only 3 in the southern hemisphere. One rotation of the restaurant takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Definitely worth a visit.

Last visited Roma about 10 years ago! I am happy to say that the service has improved a lot! Foods were all delicious. And we had an overall great time. A 10% service fee was added to the bill, but it was clearly visible, so that is all right with me.

I was transported to the 70s/80s which was very interesting and fun. For dinner, I had the orange glazed duck which was tasty and something different for me. The muscle starter was also nice. The sponge cake dessert was a bit underwhelming though and overpriced. Overall a nice experience.

First time in Florida road and We visited Cubana Durban and really enjoyed the overall vibe—it’s lively, energetic, and a great place to unwind. The place was quite busy when we arrived, so we had to wait at the bar before being seated, but once we got our table, the service was consistently excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and patient with us even as we got a bit restless waiting to eat. What really stood out was how hands-on the manager was—checking in a few times to make sure we were okay and enjoying our meal. We really appreciated that. We were honest about our calamari being overly fried and mentioned that we don’t like sauces (especially spicy ones), but unfortunately, the dish came with spicy sauce that my sister couldn’t eat. It would be great if they were a bit more mindful of special requests like that. On the bright side, we were treated to complimentary chicken strips and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-try. Despite the crowd, we were served by at least four different team members, all working together to ensure we were happy. Some even cleared plates and glasses while passing by, keeping the table neat and tidy without us needing to ask. Overall, we had a lovely time and truly appreciated the service and energy of the place. Just a few tweaks on the kitchen side, and it would’ve been perfect. We’d happily go back when we are back in the city.

Reserved a table for 15 patrons, we got seated on a 12 seater with the rest of the group without table space. The food was average, so was the service. Was not impressed at all especially with the sitting arrangement.

Went there on a Wednesday evening at around 9pm (Google shows that they close at 11pm) and sat at the bar. Bartender greeted us and said he would be with us shortly and thereafter proceeded to the other end of the bar, we tried to get his attention thereafter and he said that he would be with us shortly. Thereafter he made every attempt to ignore us. Eventually another waiter came to us after seeing us trying to get the attention of the bartender and informed us that the bar will be closing at 21:30. Wasted 15minutes of our time there. Bar had a total of 5 people inside. Not disappointed, just irritated at the level of service received.

Was here for a quick and easy meal. Served our needs. Nice vibe for a Saturday night. Thank you.

Very disappointed by the service. They ruined my date night. I actually feel being robbed by the staff. So sad. We ordered food and drinks and paid. They delivered half the food, then have us ordering more drinks while waiting for the rest of the meals which eventually never showed up. At closing time we are given a condescending apology and asked for our email. And until today no contact nor refund was made.

Absolutely disgusting customer service!!! Got there to watch the T20 World cup cricket game which was starting at 13-00. Got there a little earlier and was told that they would open at 12-30. Stood outside waiting to get in. Asked if they were going to show the cricket and was told yes. Finally open and when get seated were handed the remote for a TV to put the cricket on. Politely asked the waiter if they would put the sound on in order for us to hear the commentary while the game was on as there were not many people in at the time. After a few minutes the supervisor shouts from behind the counter that we cannot put the sound on in a very abrupt manner!!! And that if we wanted to place an order we could. Why have sport on in the first place if you not going to have the sound on and why say Yes if asked if a particular sport was going to be shown!!! Used to like going there for the pizzas but the service is gone down the drain!!! Won't be visiting this place in a very long time!!!

Formerly Hops, the outside area is shabby and doesn't seem like it's maintained as well as it previously was. On entry we waited a bit for the waitresses to take notice and then figure out whose turn it was to do Temps and sanitize. After being led to the table in a practically empty store, the table was dirty and even after being wiped, had a sticky feel. The staff don't seem to be clued up on what's in the kitchen because a while after ordering, we were informed of a shortage of veg and it would be a while before a fresh batch could be prepared. The place has lost its spark. The food was decent and presentation was good.

Staff are great (waitresses and barmen) Atm never works for the gambling machines. Lacks a bit of atmosphere that it use to have. Food is good. The beef burger has not provided genuine beef flavor as it's got a lot of other flavors in it. It was decent but not great. We asked for the chicken pasta (not on the menu) to be made specially for us and spiced up and it was pure magic on our tongues. Will be back.

Popped in to catch the final of the Workd Cup T20 . First of all the commentary was so loud that the bartender lady could not hear my drinks order properly . In asking to turn it down abit she advised it was not possible . So seeing I'm new back in SA I thought I'd have some dinner before returning to my living quarters . Well my order was totally mi's heard and got totally the incorrect meal . And the quality was simply not up to scratch . Orderd a steak egg and salad . Got a sinew what they call a t-bone , pepper sauce was so runny and the salad not fresh with I'm not sure what dressing . ........

Loved the overall atmosphere of the place. Karaoke nights on Sundays are really fun with friends. The steak there is really to die for (ate most of it before i remembered to take a pic). The staff are also really friendly and accommodating.

A street full of vibrant restaurants expressing local and international cuisine. There is never a dull moment on this road. I am a huge fan of the fine dining and party vibe thats present in the day and night

Great second location the music is everything. Super affordable but because they let anyone in theft is bound to happen.

Very limited in their drinks offering. The space is cramped. Music was playing from a YouTube channel, no DJ on sight. No servers. The drinks were nicely cold.

Loved it here, shame the jalapeño poppers were too hot for me to fully enjoy but my waitress Bee was beyond awesome, she had a nice little chat with me and she was so lovely. She recommended a cocktail called 'call a taxi' or 'call a cab' and it was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

We where here when they where closing up. It makes me miss billy the bums more now that they haven't changed much. Live music was dope. The bar set up is really beautiful with the array of drinks on offer. Makes you really want to get drunk.

Yes, we all knew it once as Billy The Bums, but this place is a fitting replacement... with great live music and insanely good pizza! The same good crowd as well, even on rainy days before pay day it's vibey.

I was actually parked outside this fine establishment with my muse, awaiting our take-aways from another highly recommended service provider, when Google asked for my humble opinion on The Bus Stop. Any place that has the word "grill" in it raises my suspicions and conjures up images of sassy young nudes dancing on the tables. But alas, from my keen observations it just seems like one of the last bastions of white, beer guzzling blokes who's looking for a jolly evening out..

Had a really awesome cocktail special at a low cost. The vibe was pretty good. Just had to wait a while to get served drinks.

Late post from Jan. Yum Yum Yum. Food was delicious. Weather was scorching. Service was tops. Was very comfortable to sit at my table and soak in the sun, ambience and positive vibes. Food was well prepared, delicious and too much to eat. Those milkshakes are the BOMB. Wow, divine.

I love it here, we usually get some breakfast after our beach walk. The staff is very attentive and the service is quick. I love how they treat doggies, my dog usually enjoys his chicken supreme.

Good food. Variety of dishes from seafood to your burgers and steaks and chops. Alcohol available. Had the best long island tea here.

I first read the reviews here on goggle before I went there. They were not lying about their burgers, they are delicious 😋.I will definitely go back for them their service was very good. I waited 10-15 munites for my food and it was full.

First timer. (Edit 4 June. Visited again and as good again. Oh my word... TRY THE VEGAN STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE. It is the best "milkshake:I have EVER had (I am not Vegan, it just sounded interesting and it was fabulous!) . And bonus that it is made with almond milk etc. Half way down promenade on Rollerblades decided to sit here and order a regular Burger and chips, a Protein smoothie and a Coke. Wow. Very impressed. Great Food & Vibes, But Missing the Basics Visited Surf Riders Café in South Beach for their wood-fired fish and overall had a good experience. The wait was quite long — over an hour — but the meal was mostly worth it. The fish was tasty and well-cooked, though not without some issues. There were a few leftover scales, and it didn’t quite deliver on the expected wood-fired flavor. The prawns (which seemed more like shrimp) were de-shelled — I personally would’ve preferred them with shells on for more flavor and texture. That said, the peri peri sauce was excellent and brought the dish together nicely. My wife had an iced coffee and a Cosmo cocktail — both of which she enjoyed. The pet-friendly environment was a major plus for us. We brought our dogs along and were pleasantly surprised when they were served complimentary treats — ice cream and Digby biscuits. A really thoughtful touch! The vibe was relaxed and beachy, just what you’d expect from a coastal café. However, a major drawback was the lack of on-site toilets for customers. Being directed to public toilets in the neighboring building felt out of place for an otherwise quality establishment. This could be a deal-breaker for some. I’m hopeful the new Umhlanga branch maintains the charm and improves where it counts — especially by ensuring basic facilities are available for guests.

Favourite place since I've visited Durban lately! Buffalo wings were the best, staff were super friendly and informative and the vibe was chilled! The music had variety of early 2000s pop and contemporary music. This doesn't usually happen at spots nowadays! I will be going when I visit again.

He is a great asset to your restaurant and hope I return he is working before I leave on the 22nd. I wish him well with all his goals and dreams, and wish you ALL the greatest success. The Meal deal with drinks was awesome, affordable, well presented and the Nachos was great! The burgers are exceptional. The vibe is great, the drinks are really good and there’s a wide selection. The staff is friendly and they kept checking up on us. The service was a bit slow , which was understandable because it was extremely packed. Overall, a lovely experience.

Great place for some beer and burgers. The Leffe on tap is a winner. All the burgers are good, I've literally tried them all. They are usually very quick out of the kitchen with the burgers. The rest of the food takes some time. The pies are also tasty. They have an awesome special every Wednesday where you get 2 beers and 2 burgers for a bargain! A definite must.

A nice place to hang out for at any time to watch what is going on in the harbor. I stayed at the Mozambique at the far end of the complex close to the water. Waiters are helpful.. Food is tasty and the chili sauce spicy

One of my favorite places to be, with so many food choices to eat at, to the beautiful view of the bay. With many activities like boat rides, fishing or just relaxing listening to music. Some of the restaurants you can eat at are spur, mozambik, julios, John dory's, house of curry's. Perfect place to spend the afternoon of a sunny day

It's been years since I've been to Wilson's Wharf. There a few restaurants that include Spur, Mozambique and John Dory's on the peer side. The main entrance has 1 restaurant that serves drinks too. However the many stalls and little shops that use to be inside are quite sparse. Only boat trips seem to make this area an attraction and if people are within the area looking for something to eat, go to these restaurants. A landmark in Durban that truly needs to be revamped. For myself and the many older people that once came to this bustling full of life spot, it is a sad decline. 🥺

10/10 for the boat cruise. The food at Spur was delicious. The staff is very friendly. However, the fact that its absolutely filthy is concerning. You can literally take 5 guys, 5 net scoops and plastic bags and they'll have it cleaned within a few hours. There's trash everywhere. Between the boats, in ramps, floating all over the place. This really is sad to see that's there's no respect for the ocean and the wharf. What does management even do? It's a big eye sore and would look beautiful if the bottles and plastic would just be picked up. There were a lot of people from over seas and their remarks alone wasn't great due to the filth scattered about. Please do something about this ASAP.

Very expensive. We had dinner, ordered Chicken wings , Caesar Salad and the Rockstar Beef burger. The chicken wings were okay in terms of taste, small portion for the price, the Rockstar burger was very good with chips and onion rings and the Caesar Salad was completely tasteless, with the Caesar sauce also being tasteless, the sauce was served separately and not tossed inside the salad. The service is okay, had to go look for a table, no welcome to be seated, food took a long time to come to the table and the restaurant was not busy, mocktails were fine, again nothing special, the strawberry daiquiri and pina colada were okay. The the prices, I expected a vow food and beverage experience. Just very expensive food and it’s a little vibe and atmosphere. Would not recommend in terms of value or experience.

Who doesn't enjoy beach views, while having amazing food? Being generous with their wine is what draws me back to this place. Just one more thing, their potions are enough to ask for a takeaway box, be careful 😂.

ALWAYS my go-to establishment after finishing a film at the Suncoast cinema late during the weekdays. The atmosphere at Tiger’s Milk will never be a bore despite it being the early days of the week or it being late. Good music & overall aura. Their excellent bartenders with good service are the reason why I always visit the upstairs area.

Unacceptable service from 031 at Ballito Farmers Market. Email sent on 20th May and no response. See email below. Morning Distillery 031 I understand there is new ownership, so I’m unsure of who I’m talking to. I wanted to give you an insight into the issue that arose from the female that was situated at your station on Saturday at Ballito Farmers Market. Firstly, when we approached the bar she had her feet up on the bar, talking on the phone, vaping. She didn’t even look at us when we wanted to order, so I presumed she didn’t work there. A young man from the food outlet next door came across and apologized. It was all a bit awkward to be honest. Without going into too much detail about the circus that then ensued in the making of the drink; working out which syrup should be used, getting the blender to work etc, etc when the drink arrived, it did not resemble a Mojito by any stretch of the imagination. Brown slush with no taste. It was obvious the people working the bar wouldn’t be interested in any feedback as they hadn’t been interested in taking the order in the first place and there was no way I was going to drink it, I went to order something else from the bar next door, which was manned by friendly, attentive and well put together staff, who actually wanted to serve their customers. On my way across to them, I put the drink back on your counter and politely said to the female “you can keep that thanks, it’s terrible.” Still sitting behind the bar, she yelled at me that I was very rude. I told her I think selling a terrible cocktail is very rude and attempted to carry on with my order at the bar next door. A barrage of insults came out of her mouth, until I walked away with my very decent Margarita from next door. A few minutes later, she arrived at my table with R60 (I really didn’t need a refund), where she continued to insult me for several minutes, in front of my daughter and a bar area packed with market customers, refusing to leave us alone until I turned my back on her and she finally walked away. I have honestly never seen anyone behave so atrociously in my 30 plus years in the service industry. Not only does it put 031 (historically a great brand) in a very bad light, but also Ballito Farmers Market, who are doing an incredible job for our community. I look forward to your feedback.

Authentically local. Amazing food and beer. Feels like you belong. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Clean, tidy dining area and bar. Parking is a little difficult to find when it's busy so rather carpool or uber especially if you're going to drink. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Definitely a place to keep going back to.

Quite a unique experience for Durban. Hipster-style bar in the likes of Cape Town bars we've seen for a while, but new to Durban. The gin - produced on-site, is delicious. Situated in the up and coming Station Drive, check it out on First Thursdays or on the weekend.

Good atmosphere, drinks are ok. One time we went and the music was just way too loud so it didn’t seem like a chill place to sit and chat without screaming. During the day was Perfect.

Eyadini is a great place and it has so much potential in bringing more crowd, I think new think they have to introduce new music and different types of Dj's and also competitions for the people who randomly support them.

Today August 10th 2025, went to Eyadini knowing it for tourist attraction all the way from Jozi thinking we will get nice vibes it was so dry and quiet, we were literally the only ones , Bought drinks and meat we couldn't even finish it there , we had to move else where because it was too boring. Food 7/10.

I feel Eyadini is overrated & expensive! Maxi's set the bar real high the night before, they are cheaper & ya, I was disappointed at Eyadini. Maybe I will have the chance at a better night at Eyadini 🤷🏽not all their bad though, it was pouring with rain that night...but it was also pouring the night of Maxi's, but they had us covered😄

Great vibey place to be at. Great food and it's a really nice spot. Although alcoholic prices are a bit costy, but it's still affordable. This place is great for groups. The toilets are too busy and very small. That's the only fault I can pick up. Other than that, we really enjoyed and I highly recommend it if you're visiting Durban.

The DJ was truly electrifying. I danced and did not get tired. The energy us really great as well. An open air place with great music, space to move about, people who are keen to have a good night, no airs whatsoever is always a must recommend in my book!

Attended Valentine's dinner service, and I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. For R1100.00 per couple, there was no champagne on arrival, music too loud, and being seated across a rowdy bar isn't ideal, especially on Valentine's Day. With a few rose petals and a tea light candle, the ambiance was not giving a lot of romantic vibes. Now for the food, it was okay. The lamb "rack" consisted of 2 chops, and the line fish needed some starch. We left, still hungry. Now here's my gripe, the entire week Dukkah promoted a happy hour from 5 to 7pm , I stand to be corrected with the times, on Thursday night they canceled due to the restaurant being fully booked, I actually booked here to take advantage of that promo. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, also there were too many people handling the bookings and someone canceled ours by mistake. There was also a typo on the menu, mouse instead of mousse, attention to detail goes a long way & leaves a lasting impression. Will I return... maybe but not on a special occasion. They failed to capture one of the most romantic nights of the year.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the upbeat sound of house music. The restaurant was bustling yet exuded a fantastic vibe and ambiance. A gentleman greeted us at the entrance and asked for my booking details. After confirming my name, he quickly searched through a list and then asked where I would like to sit. He escorted me to our table, handed us the menus, and informed us that our waiter would be with us shortly. Our waiter, Akhona, promptly approached us to take our order. We requested a few minutes to decide, and she kindly accommodated our request. After about five minutes, Akhona returned to take our drink order. We opted for a non-alcoholic orange cocktail and a bottle of Beyerskloof. It would have been nice to have the wine available by the glass since I wasn't fond of the options for the Pinotage. For starters, we chose the Avalanche sushi and bone marrow. Although the order was delivered by another server, Akhona did check in on us, though we didn't see her much afterward due to the restaurant's busyness. Another server came by to take our main course order. As for the food itself, the presentation, taste, and flavors were impeccable—definitely a solid 10/10. The lamb chops were tender and bursting with flavor, cooked perfectly to a medium-rare. The rump steak was also good, with just a bit of sinew but expertly prepared. Though I would have loved to try dessert, the portions were quite filling and satisfying. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Dukka Restaurant and Bar, and I highly recommend this hidden gem!

This has to be one of the best places to visit...ever! The team delivering the food, drinks and entertainment are very professional and very warm and inviting. Choose your dishes and then these are then beautifully cooked on the braai/barbecue and the guys there are always happy to say hello. Its hot back there but they produce some fabulous tasty food. Having visited numerous times over the last 10 years, this is a firm favourite on visiting Durban and the venue just keeps growing. Well worth a visit...

Max's is really beautiful and classy. So much order and it is clean. I am not a groove person but I can come here to unwind anytime. There is everything for everyone. The VIP is not expensive starting from R200, but you can manage to find a private space in the 'general' section. This place is super safe and orderly! From parking to everywhere inside. The only thing I didn't enjoy is how long it takes to pay for drinks! There are people who pack and arrange your drinks after you order, but you wait for too long queueing to pay 🙄

It was awesome, it is very big and spacious.. love the space . We payed for VIP which was a bit boring and super hot , kindly fix or install Aircon especially because Durban can be super hot .Kudos to the security, they awesome ,quick and good looking 😊. It was my first time visiting Max's Lifestyle. We went on a Tuesday ,midday, it was pleasantly quiet. The service was prompt, meat was good...the raw tomatoes, chilli and onion chutney look a bit 'tired' but was tasty. Everything was good. The staff we were willing to show us around, and gave struct instructions, not to take photos in the empty VIP area. They have ample parking, helpful and attentive staff. Worth visiting for the township expirience. They have an inhouse hair salon, clothing shop etc. Please note that your meat order is placed at the counter, weighed according to your specification/s, paid for upfront before it is braai'd / prepared for you. Drinks are also paid for upfront before being served. You will have a waiter assigned to your table as per the norm.

Certainly had the best time of my life. This is a place for all people of different cultures and backgrounds to come, enjoy good food and entertainment, and have fun. The African food was the best, better than my American food 😅. I really had fun and enjoyed my time. I will certainly come back.

1st time visit and I REALLY enjoyed it. Irregardless of the drama that unfolded between the security guards and the customers. I think there should be a time frame of when free entry ends, you can't make an announcement now and put it in to place immediately, those who were inside and maybe left to go to the car and suddenly they have to pay an entrance fee. Either than that I genuinely enjoyed my night there. Even the food was really good.

An absolutely unexpected and thrilling establishment in the heart of the CBD. I’d been told that this is the place you go to when all other clubs across the city have closed for the night. I was also told not to have any expectations about this place. Going there, I expected little. Upon entry, eGagasini has a bar and lounge area… very cosy. As well as an LED-lit area on the side. But then… You head downstairs and uncover an underground treasure. A lounge area that could rival the best-rated club; a pool and hot-tub that make this club splendid. Apparently a fee of R50/hour is payable if you want to have fun in the pool or hot-tub. I’ve only ever been to this club post-midnight therefore cannot comment on the food, however, there is a shisanyama upstairs. The bartenders were efficient in attending to our needs. There are deejays performing from time-to-time but, with this being the heart of Durban, expect a dominance of Gqom. eGagasini is a must for everyone. Let loose and experience the thrill of Durban nightlife!

Beng'libe ngifuna ukuza la for such a long time finally I came... It was more that what I expected as my friends have told me. The music was fine still it could have been better, I think they played less hip hop song and I was disappointed, female waiters all bore me, they act like they are permanent at their jobs and go around helping VIPs only. It took me an hour to get my order after sengiye ku bar nga order to a male guy.

The Place is very lively, light, airy, refreshing, exquisite aesthetic. The View is Amazing. I think the aesthetic is literally the best part of the place. We came in for lunch. The Service was Awful, it took away the experience I had coming in. We had about 5 waitresses serving us because the waitress before the other disappeared. The Cocktail I ordered from what I saw on the pics here came in a wine glass and the ladies next to us received it in the correct Glass. Waited for it till I forgot what I ordered. My partner ordered a Corona 3 times and every time it took them about 30 minutes to bring a Corona, which does not need preparation. The shots came in time atleast. The food. The food took almost 2 hours to Get to us. I am not even making this up. We came in at around 15h00 and got our food at 16h45 and it was Cold. Not even warm. Cold. On a Cold Cast Iron Plate. A Cast Iron plate is supposed to keep the food hotter for longer but nop. The Cast iron plate as well was cold as ice. They reheated the food after I requested. The plate was still Cold but at that point we were like whatever. Let's just eat and get out of here. The food was nice but the whole experience was just hhhhm. Took me 3 weeks to write this review the way I was so disappointed. Been wanting to come to Views for the longest time. There's this one girl who had Benny and Betty hairstyle and wore all black. I think she was still being trained. She had the best service. The experienced waitresses with the brown aprons had Awful service. They did not even check up on us once. We had our heads out like meerkats the whole time looking to be assisted. Thank you to that one lovely girl who had our backs the whole time.

I  went there on Monday for their mogodu Monday and I was utterly disgusted by the service. We were moved from a table because we were 3 and the table fitted more people and they wanted to reserve for a larger group and we complied and the table was left vacant for more than an hour we then expressed our discomfort in this new space and we were moved back, a hostess came to the table shortly and rudely moved our stuff back to the spot we were at asking who placed us there and we tried explaining and she was not having it. As we are sitted there comes a guy with his waitress asking us to move he booked the space and we advised the waitress to go speak to whoever moved us here coz we didn't move at our own will, I expressed my grief of being moved from pillar to post and the guy started interfering and the guy assaulted me in turn I retaliated, Instead of addressing the violent behavior we were escorted out and as we were at the entrance the guy went back to the restaurant and we were asked to leave upon that we had to pay for 2 different bills and we ended up paying for a damaged hubbly but the guy didn't have to account for it, the staff is very biased and I had to ask for the manager who was rude enough to send his friend to us and I asked him not to patronize and call the rightful person in charge who was clearly useless coz I asked him if their space accommodates GBV against woman as I was asked to pay and I was escorted out but the guy who attacked me was still allowed back in and upon checking reviews I have noticed that this is their modus operandi especially amongst people who are in Durban for vacation.

Views also lends itself to showmanship - if really expensive bottles of alcohol are purchased, girls in the tightest bodycon dresses surround the table holding up mini fireworks for 30 seconds or so, indicating to the entire club that your table has purchased a specific bottle of alcohol. For those who are after content-creation, there are several backdrops throughout the establishment that lend themselves to helping you take photos and videos worthy of being displayed on social media. Street-parking is available with relative security available to guard your vehicles. The cover charge is generally R150 at night. I am unsure whether there are cover charges during the day; however, I highly doubt it. Views always presents an unforgettable experience so be sure to check it out at least once when you’re in Durban.

What an experience!!!!the place is beautiful and vibey the music is pumping and honestly beautiful place to be,problem begins with the hosts,waitresses(Ayanda her name to be precise)my Gosh they can really look down on people it’s scary,we came there early got seated and ordered our food which 1:came cold ,2:unseasoned and had a gas/paraffin taste to it in which we explained to the waiter and she tasted it and agree but we still had to pay for it,while we still in awe with that we told ourselves okay cool let’s just enjoy the vibes and have our drinks cool ,while we minding our own and honestly having a time of our lives this host Ayanda comes and tell us she’s gonna move us to another table as this table we at is booked mind you she wasn’t the one who gave us the table from the beginning,I then told her I also work in the same field I know when you want to get a table for your so called friends or regulars but you don’t just pick and chose who to chase out she was rude after that and she started taking pics of us against our will (defimation of character)and mocking us because we didn’t drink the expensive drinks and all mind you our bill was already on 1200 and we were still keen on spending more but the lady was pathetic and rude towards us we decided to leave and definitely won’t recommend the place anymore especially if you are considered a lower class like how she did

If you order food at this establishment you must have a lot of patience as they are under staffed. I will personally not visit again. After you order food and pay for it the staff then tell you they don't have the items that you ordered. Disgusting service.

Awesome selection of spices, ingredients, ready-made spice-mixes and snack foods. Also has a great cafe inside which serves some of the tastiest chaat in the city. Definitely worth a visit even if it's just for a quick snack. Would recommend the pav bhaaji and Bombay crush.

Visited the store after a few years because I saw that the chaat shop reopened and WOW! Delicious veg food at reasonable prices. We had pani puri, sev puri, bombay sandwich, pav bhaji and limbu pani. The flavours transported me back to the roadside eateries of Mumbai. I always say that India is the one country I could be vegetarian in and the food reminded me why!

I was very disappointed with the cocoa powder it was mostly cinnamon not even ground properly. I understand it’s for baking not drinks. I bought cocoa powder from gorimas colour is darker and only cocoa powder no added ingredients.

One of the City Centres hidden gems. A wide array of spices that is enough to spice up more than your life. Delectable tantalising treats for sweet and spicy and sour. Imported tasty pickles, freshest powdered spices, every conceivable spice anyone would ever need to conjure up the most amazing Indian Dishes See secure parking adjacent to the store. Convenient as well.

Everytime I visited Durban this was one of my fav spots to buy stuff n eat loads of Indian gastronomy. My heart broke to see it's been reduced to penny size n all that attraction of food disappeared.

To "SAB" please train the staff here to understand that when poring draught beer in a glass, to understand that there is a HEAD that goes with it. My first official experience at Origin Nightclub was absolutely incredible 👏 🙌 as a party animal this is definitely a must jol nightclub. 5 Dance floors, beautiful layouts, stunning wall art, massive bars, comfortable seating arrangements, Perfect dance floors designed to get you moving constantly. "You can't stop moving at ories" I absolutely loved it. I celebrated the last few hours of my 25th birthday during the ultra pre-party, and I loved every moment of it.

I went clubbing there 2019,had few drinks, my friend ended up in an argument with a bouncer which landed me caught in the middle. My girlfriends phone and mine fell out which the other bouncer picked up, I went back following day to report incident where the indian boss denied the man and said cameras don't work Very bad place filled with youngsters and even horrible bouncers, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Gqom lives here. There is always a dj. This is a place for people who like to dance for the beat goes on all night. It is often jam packed on Friday and Saturdays. Drinks are sold inside and it is a safe place. There are bouncers on duty and toilets are available. Linked to this club is urban lounge another great place to chill and wind. 👌🥂🍻

Closed, vacated premises, left building in pretty much excessive mess. Stripped electrical system. Water leaking through concrete roof. No go zone.

Do not come here if you are look for a fancy experience, nor quick service. However, if you are not in a hurry, and you're looking for a good seafood meal, with massive portions, ,then this is the place to come to. The food tastes very good, the rice is amazing, as is all of the various seafood options on offer. Being a bar, naturally there is also alcohol on offer. Serive is not fast, and you will wait a while for food, especially if your party is a large one, but it is worth it. Besides, if you are here, you're probably relaxing and catching up with friends. No need to rush - Enjoy their company!

Took my wife to celebrate our anniversary. The buffet selection was extremely limited. Moreover, what was available was simply horrible. The desert matched the poor quality of the food. Not sure as to when it was prepared, but it definitely was not fresh. Hilton is a world renowned brand, and the Hilton Durban is no exception. Having a restaurant with the standard of Vasco's is beyond belief.Guests want to enjoy the complete package, and dinning is a massive part of the overall experience.

After it's reopening following a lengthy Covid-induced closure, I was a venture into the unknown with regards to what could be expected from the Vasco's Restaurant. Prior to the lockdown, the Vasco's breakfast buffet was, arguably, one of the best in the Durban region. After our recent visit (as walk-in guests), I can confirm that that precedent has been maintained. A wide-selection of items were on the buffet - including the 'typical' breakfast buffet items, but the addition of pre-prepared breakfast accompaniments (such as breakfast smoothies, and muesli/yoghurt in a cup) were befitting of a Restaurant in a 5-star hotel. Notwithstanding being a week-day visit on a day with lower occupancy rates in the hotel, the incorporation of more bespoke items on the menu was most welcome (i.e.: a creamy spinach and button mushroom side dish was my highlight). Shows a dedication to a high-standard product, regardless of how many patrons are present. For the price point, this breakfast buffet offering is certainly great value for money. (Sidenote: The below-average current rating for this Restaurant is, in my opinion, not fully-representative of its current state of affairs. I'd recommend their buffet to anybody who may be considering such.) Reason for not awarding 5 -stars: I feel that the food could have been slightly warmer, a tad on the cold side. Will definitely be planning a return to the Restaurant, in due course.

Giving one star is too much😑 The food was very disappointing, we expected a variety of food for a buffet but only got served a selection of a bland pasta, chakalaka, dombolo, roasted baby potatoes,meatballs.sweet potato soup,tasteless roasted pork, steamed veggies and rice and unappetizing salad and this was suppose to be a buffet at Hilton Hotel 🤔 which cost R275. Booked for my husband's 50th birthday on a friday for the seafood Buffett was not informed that they no longer do seafood buffet disappointed as I was we where there already so decided to go with the international buffet to my disgust it was the worst buffet I had ever had for R275 the mains was broad beans curry ,boerwors chutney and pap and raw chicken curry and pork roast terrible food called manager who tried to help .got the chef to our table because we where ready to leave they convinced us they will try to make a seafood platter after much convincing we decided to give them a chance the seafood platter came was not tasty at all .will never recommend to any one if you hear hilton vascos don't get carried away it's just a name but the staff was very helpful .my husband was so disappointed for his 50th birthday never going back .

Scary place to have your 15 year old go to without your permission. Invitataions given out for Students to learners at school. Saw girls as young as 13 being served alcohol and motherless in the street. Very scary to see our youth being caught up in this, especially the men around in their fancy sports cars picking up young girls. Very scary

Sub par experience. The last time I went to Moyo admittedly was 10 years ago. At that stage it was a great place, upscale, lots of people, great food. Now.....a shadow of it's former self. Was really disappointed with my visit. Unlikely to eat there again
