1Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo

Hotel
Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo is a luxurious hotel with a rich history of catering to the ultra-high-net-worth crowd. It is part of SBM, a private company majority-owned by the government of Monaco and its royal family. The hotel offers elegant rooms, a thermal spa, and access to a private beach. Guests can enjoy fine dining at renowned restaurants such as Louis XV - Alain Ducasse, Grill, and Cafe de Paris Monte-Carlo.
Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo – An Experience of Pure Excellence ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Today we had the pleasure of visiting the legendary Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo – and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is unique: elegant, sophisticated, yet wonderfully welcoming. As a special touch, each of us was served an exquisite cocktail, perfectly crafted in both taste and presentation. We felt extremely comfortable and at ease from the very first moment. The setting is not only architecturally stunning, but also full of life – with fascinating guests from around the world and a captivating parade of extraordinary cars right outside. A place where luxury and genuine hospitality meet at the highest level. We will most certainly return!

The location is incredible and very convenient. We really enjoyed being able to step out the front door and access the Monte Carlo Casino with ease. After our stay, we headed to Nice, France. However, I’m giving this experience one star due to the extremely poor service at the car valet area. After spending over €8,000 for our 3 day stay just days prior, I expected at least basic courtesy. Instead, after a late evening at the Monte Carlo Casino, we attempted to return to Nice around 2 AM and were met with shocking behavior from the valet staff. One valet gave us a hard time for no apparent reason, then walked off laughing with his coworkers, saying a taxi had been called. After waiting over an hour with no taxi in sight, I approached a driver dropping off guests to ask if he could take us to Nice. This upset the valet, who began shouting, cursing, and even called me a “dumb American.” The driver explained he couldn't leave Monaco due to restrictions, so I had no choice but to keep waiting. The valet then claimed he’d called a different taxi that could travel to Nice, but given the circumstances, I doubted this was true. After another hour passed without any sign of a taxi, we eventually flagged down a random one ourselves and finally made it back to Nice. Bottom line we waited 2 hours for a taxi that was NEVER coming because the guy wanted to toy with us. It’s absolutely unacceptable for a staff member at a hotel of this reputation to treat guests this way. The level of disrespect and lack of professionalism was honestly astonishing.

We had a great stay during the Monaco Yacht Show, and appreciated the hotel staff being so attentive. Our dogs were with us and they always opened a side door for us to make it easy. Our suite on the 5th floor was super far away from the elevator so that was not fun, but the room was beautiful and comfortable.

DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL!! I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Rome, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a hotel. The room was not as described, and the service was completely unhelpful.i requested a bassinet as it is in their website they advertised that crib is available upon request, they told me they don’t have one, after insisting on having one for my baby they provided me a broken bassinet!! The staff showed little concern when I mentioned issues of crib that was unsafe for my baby, unclean and no mattress . they still charged me 25 euro per night for that Bassinet that I couldn’t use, they told me they will take care of it the next morning where they never did . Instead of resolving the problem, they charged me extra and offered no apology or solution. For the price I paid, I expected much better hospitality and safety standards. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome — there are many other places that actually care about their guests.

I spent a week at Hotel The Paris and I’m absolutely delighted with this place. The interiors are beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious – especially the pistachio omelet at The Grill. I loved spending time at the hotel pool and in the jacuzzi, which offered a stunning view of the sea. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The biggest highlight for me was the hotel bar with live music – an unforgettable experience and amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel!

Incredible hotel , review is not needed because it’s one of the best hotels in the world. Had a room overlooking the casino, went for dinner in Michelin restaurant down, also tried a spot in their second restaurant higher up - everything is perfect. Spent my birthday there and it was an incredible experience. Everything is perfect from the rooms, amenities, restaurants, staff… wonderful

We had the privilege of delivering the world’s most exquisite Centauri honey costs 1.1 Million Euro / jar to a distinguished VIP guest at Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo . The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, complemented by impeccably attentive staff. Every detail of the décor exuded sophistication, making this an exceptional and truly unforgettable stay. The staff and the General Manager truly deserve a round of applause for their remarkable and impressive work.

I am completely dissatisfied with this hotel. We recently visited Nice and took a day trip to Monaco to visit Monte Carlo Casino and this hotel was the worst customer experience I have ever received. Waited HOURS for a taxi to arrive that they supposedly called for us. They were clearly speaking in French behind our backs and made us stand and wait for hours for a taxi that never arrived. Tried to sot down on the ledge off to the side of the hotel and was screamed at to stand. Keep in mind this was 2 o clock in the morning. Extremely unprofessional and I will never be booking a stay here again. Location is great for the casino but this was not worth the hassle or trouble. Their staff needs to be swapped out for others that are more pleasant and professional. Could not complain enough about this experience.

Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is an elegant hotel offering chic Belle Epoque-style rooms, upscale dining options, free Wi-Fi, and spa access. The hotel's restaurants provide a delightful experience during the Grand Prix de Monaco, with gourmet meals and views of the race from various terraces. Perched on the 8th floor of Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Grill offers exceptional panoramic views of the circuit.
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous amenities! We were here over a very busy weekend, with the crowd and traffic you could see the hotel was overrun causing a few challenges. Despite this the staff were lovely and courteous and went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. I would definitely stay here again, I miss those turn down service chocolates already.

My wife and I stayed here with our 11 week old son. The hotel stuff are absolutely delightful. They were extremely accommodating to our son and had all the baby equipment we required (baby towels, steriliser etc). The rooms are wonderful, extremely clean and the food is lovely. We honestly couldn’t have had a more wonderful time. I highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful historic luxury hotel with a great location in the heart of Monaco. It is 1 block away from the Monte Carlo Casino and Place Du Casino, where the parade of the most spectacular cars goes on all day every day, and the people watching is great! It has fabulous restaurants like Pavyllon overlooking the sea and the Harbor and which offers a superb menu of deliciously prepared and beautifully presented cuisine that elevates gourmet food to a whole other level. The atmosphere is upscale casual yet somewhat relaxed and informal. The service is impeccable and the staff is wonderful.

Very elegant hotel in the best location. The hotel is a bit tricky with many wings and floors that aren't connected. Beautiful spa and outdoor pool. Decent breakfast. Good size gym. The rooms are small but nicely designed and equipped with all amenities needed at 5 start hotel.

A stunning Belle Époque hotel in the heart of Monte Carlo. The architecture and interiors are exquisite, blending historic charm with modern luxury. My room was elegant and comfortable, offering a beautiful sea view. Service was impeccable—staff were attentive and professional throughout my stay. Dining at the Michelin-starred restaurant was a highlight, with exceptional cuisine and ambiance. The spa facilities were top-notch, providing a relaxing retreat. Highly recommend for a luxurious and memorable experience in Monaco.

This was a good hotel. A little dated but still a good hotel. People tried very hard to deliver good service. Great location and worth a stay if passing through Monaco as we were. Rooms could use a little face lift. But overall a good hotel.

After a day full of stress, a sleepless night, and feeling completely unheard… we walked into Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo — and everything changed. It wasn’t just the elegance of the place — it was the kindness, the warmth, and the way every single team member made us feel safe, seen, and truly cared for.To David, the extraordinary concierge, and the entire team — from the managers to the front desk — thank you for turning our chaos into calm. You reminded us that true luxury is peace of mind, genuine hospitality, and human kindness. This wasn’t just a stay — it was a healing moment. With all our love and gratitude,Jessica (The Boss) and her very loyal assistant — me Dr.Lucy B ❤️

Hôtel Hermitage was the third stop on our trip along the French Riviera, and it was the one we had the highest expectations for. It was also where we celebrated our wedding anniversary – which made the disappointment even greater. That said, the hotel itself is truly beautiful – stunning rooms, excellent food, and a fantastic location in the heart of Monte Carlo. But… On the day of check-out, housekeeping entered our room at 11:50 (before the official noon check-out time) and gestured to the watch, rushing us to leave. At the Campari Bar we waited around 30 minutes to place another cocktail order, and when we later asked for the bill because it started raining, the staff began clearing cushions instead of bringing it. We eventually had to approach another staff member ourselves to pay. For such a prestigious and expensive hotel, we expected flawless and attentive service. Unfortunately, these issues left us disappointed

In fact the view onto the racetrack was phenomenal Hôtel staff are very friendly and it’s right in the Harbour I recommend it because the people that run the hotel are lovely. The hotel is clean. The rooms are huge And it’s an elegantHotel.

An unforgettable stay – excellent location, service, and comfort. First of all, the location of the hotel is incredible. It sits just across from a luxury marina, with only a small street in between, offering a breathtaking view. Parking was seamless—valet service was excellent. The staff downstairs were always ready to bring the car whenever we needed it, and no one ever made us feel expected to tip. The standard parking fee is €50, but your car is safe and always ready. Everyone from the valet to the front desk was extremely polite. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a wonderful surprise. Even though it was on the first floor, the suite was more beautiful than our home—absolutely stunning. We could see the yachts so closely from our window it felt like we could reach out and touch them. Cleanliness and kindness deserve another mention—it was spotless, and every staff member was incredibly courteous. Make sure to try the hotel’s restaurant (I’ll leave a separate review for that) and don’t miss the private access from the 6th floor that leads straight to the famous casino path—such a fun little detail

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location is great - right on the harbour and just a short walk from everything else. The room was a great size and very luxurious / high quality with a fantastic view. We didn't hear any noise from outside and had a great night's sleep. I wish we could have stayed longer!

I feel compelled to share my experience at Port Monaco during my stay last summer while searching for hotels in Mónaco. I had a truly disappointing encounter with the night shift staff that left a bad impression. Despite having prepaid for our stay, the night shift employee humiliated me and refused to provide my room key simply because I was traveling with my three year old. He insisted that I book an extra room for my child, despite the fact that we were traveling as a family and there were spacious king beds available. It’s absurd to think I would need to pay for an additional room when we had already made arrangements. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against staying here.

Fantastic Hotel!!!! Perfect location (If a pre or post cruise stay then you can take the water taxi across the marina for €2) Very large room (has hairdryer, bath and shower) Great marina view & F1 track from room Friendly & helpful staff both at reception and restaurant Amazing breakfast - avocado, smoked salmon, pastries, cakes, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage…. etc etc (Complimentary Belgium Chocolate Eggs for Easter which were lovely) Cannot fault this hotel at all F1 track to the front and from behind (take lift to 6th floor next to great looking restaurant) and exit onto street Continuing up the hill the Casino is just around the corner

Review of Port Palace Hotel, Monaco I recently stayed at the Port Palace Hotel for the first time, and overall, it was a lovely experience—until the very end of our visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms. Housekeeping was prompt, efficient, and always friendly. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also great—especially the one working the night shift, who gave us excellent recommendations and was incredibly welcoming and kind. However, our check-out experience was unfortunately very disappointing. We had requested a late check-out and were granted an additional 30 minutes. We slightly exceeded that time, but we were never contacted or reminded by the hotel when the grace period ended. As a result, we were fined €100 for being 30 minutes late. We were very polite and paid the fine immediately. What truly soured our experience was the behavior of a blonde woman who identified herself as the hotel manager. She spoke to us with unnecessary hostility, raised her voice, and treated us with clear disrespect. When I calmly asked for her name so I could include it in a review, she refused to give it. This kind of conduct is deeply disappointing—especially from someone in a managerial position in the hospitality industry, where professionalism and respectful communication are essential. It’s unfortunate that such a positive stay ended on such a negative note. I had been planning to return to the Port Palace, but due to that encounter, I will not be staying here again. A beautiful hotel and mostly excellent staff—but one person’s behavior left a lasting negative impression It’s unfortunate, because this could have easily been a five-star experience

Great hotel! Perfect location, on the harbor but also close to the casino. Restaurant is really good with an incredible view of the yachts and the palace (get a harbor view room if you can). And the sevice was impeccable! Highly recommend!!

We had month long trip across Europe. The lobby was nice, rooftop restaurant was great but the rooms were dated and not what you expect when you pay close $900 per night. The least they could have done was not have dead plants on the table and not have poorly upholstered furniture randomly placed in the room. But for the location, it was quite the disappointment.

The Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo, Curio Collection by Hilton is a boutique hotel that underwent a complete renovation in 2018. It offers stylish and airy rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi, most of which boast stunning sea views or overlook the Princess Grace Rose Garden. The hotel features an all-day dining restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, a lifestyle bar, and a heated outdoor pool. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a complimentary shuttle service within Monaco.
What a great view the the Sea! The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool during those hot and humid summer days and nights. It was located walking distance to many great restaurants, the water, sight seeing and little shops. The distance to the Monte Carlo’s casino was only a quick taxi ride away! The service was phenomenal!! Great staff who spoke many languages and treated us wonderfully! Breakfast was delicious! They had several options that were all healthy and hearty! If I’m ever in Monaco again I’d stay here!

We ended up last-minute after our arranged hotel had AC issues, and I’m so glad we did! This is a nice property, close to several restaurants, and easy to get to anywhere in Monaco by taxi in minutes. Concierge is wonderful, the rooms are modern, spacious, and comfortable. And the AC is GREAT! Highly recommend, especially for Hilton members.

I had an amazing stay at the Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was warmly welcomed at check-in and the front desk went above and beyond – they upgraded me two categories to a beautiful large suite, which I absolutely loved. The suite was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with a great view and all the details that make a stay feel special. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional, always making sure everything was perfect. The location is excellent, close to the harbor and restaurants but still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt elegant yet comfortable. This was truly one of my best Hilton stays. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back

Love this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights in June. The location was perfect since I was looking for a quieter stay and a sea view room, away from the touristic spot (e.g. the casino) and this hotel offered exactly that. The room was spotless clean equipped with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even after checkout, they helped me call the heliport to make sure my helicopter pickup arrived on time. Would totally stay here again.

My stay at the Columbus Hilton in Monaco was absolutely unforgettable! The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. everything you could ask for in a luxury stay. The front desk team were always welcoming and helpful, and the concierge staff went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience in Monaco. A special thank you to their manager, Nicholas, whose professionalism and warm hospitality truly made my trip memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. highly recommended!

We recently had a fantastic stay at Columbus Hotel Monte Carlo. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which really set the tone for our visit. As we were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday, we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade — such a thoughtful surprise that made our trip even more memorable. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance to the local centre and bus stops, and the free shuttle service provided by the hotel was very convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and offered beautiful views from the balcony. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The combination of excellent service, great location, and comfortable rooms makes Columbus Hotel a place we would very highly recommend. We would not hesitate to return!

Rooms and breakfast were OK. Normally I'd say a bit overprized, but this is Monaco, so if you come here to complain about pricing...well...maybe go somewehre else. Service was VERY good, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the entrance and the reception. Eventhough you're not directly in the centre of Monaco, it's easy to get there with the E-Bikes that you can rent for almost no money, take a cab or even walk if you're motivated (the walk is not too bad to the grand prix track, Casino might be a bit longer and uphill).
Michael S — Google review
Perfect as always, Jessica at reception is very warm, welcoming and professional. All of the concierges, valet park, help you with your luggage, just first class service all round, extremely knowledgeable & the shuttle service into Monaco is great. If you’re heading to the Grand Prix we recommend Senate, simply the best

The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a luxurious hotel located on the French Riviera, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and close proximity to the iconic Monte Carlo Casino. BAR REVIEW. Came here late Saturday night for drinks at the lobby bar—so happy they were open late! Service was excellent, the bartenders made great cocktails and shots. It’s a great chill area for drinks and I believe it has a view of the water but it was too dark to see—probably beautiful during the day). Hotel itself looks nice and spacious.
Vy H — Google review
We stayed in Fairmont for one night with the plan to come back after four days and spend four more nights in Fairmont. However, we were very disappointed with the hotel policy in trying to force us to pay for 2 rooms although the one we have booked online was sufficient. For more context, I am travelling with my wife and our two small children (7 and 4 yo) and, although we've booked a room with 2 double beds (more than enough to suit our needs), we were informed that it is the hotel's policy to not allow more than 3 persons in the room. In other words, we should have booked 2 rooms just because of the 4 year old. Most probably the second room would have stayed empty as the two double beds were more than enough for us, as you may observe from the photo. When asked why this policy, we were told that it is for security reasons, but to be honest our feeling was that it was for their own profit, not really caring about our needs. As it can be observed from the photo the 2 double beds are more than enough to suit 2 adults and 2 small children (7 and 4 yo). In addition to that, the shower head from the bathroom was broken, one of the chairs on the balcony was broken (see attached foto) and it's been quite a while since anyone had washed the balcony. Food on the top floor restaurant was also disappointing. So this hotel is not children friendly. Stay away if you are travelling as a family with small children and you don't feel like paying for rooms you don't really need. In the end we stayed in the booked room for one night, without paying for a second one, and we cancelled the other stay. The front desk didn't seem to care when cancelling our second stay and informing them of the reason.

Room missing a lot of lights, very dark. Room not adapted for office work, no desk, no easy plugs for power. For the rest, the room is comfortable and well equiped, of good size. Some TV channels such as fashion TV are not working which is frustrating since they are not that much channels available. Entertainment system could be improved.
Cyril H — Google review
I have a long history with this hotel, back to when it was called Loews!! What was wonderful was seeing a handful of staff from 25 years ago who remembered my family. It felt like coming home. The new renovations are fabulous and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast is a feast, a bit of everything for everyone. The view is outstanding. The service very professional and the manager, Jeff, greeted everyone personally and was on top of his game. Lunch was very good with a reasonable plat du jour and café gourmand. Excellent quality and price. The voituriers on duty during my stay had known my parents and added the extra special moments during my 5 day stay. The views have been spoilt due to the new buildings reclaimed from the sea however this hotel is just the right size to make you feel at home. Bravo!

We absolutely had our expectations exceeded with our stay here! Staff were very professional and took great care checking us in and having concierge help us to our suite. (Thank you Erick). The suite is incredible and perfect for our family with F1 car enthusiasts. Each of the 3 balconies in our suite offered spectacular views of the coast, and that infamous hairpin turn would draw our family out to watch cars day/night. Sitting or lounging on any balcony we could see many incredible cars and yachts with the Monte Carlo back drop. What a view! The service was also top notch from the second we got out of our vehicle. We truly loved the stay at this hotel. Fantastic location to walk to excellent restaurants they recommended and helped book for us. Very central to walk to shopping or site seeing. Our family enjoyed both pools and the views too. Breakfast at the restaurant was a perfect way to start our day with local fresh foods. We loved it here!

Valet car service Don’t bother using the telephone button that says valet, that is useless. They are not going to tell you even if you call down for your car, but they don’t get your car UNTIL you come down to the front of the hotel. It takes 30 min to get your car, but it works be nice if a person on the phone actually tells you this instead of taking your car number and pretending like they are going to pass along the message to valet

The hotel overall was disappointing. We had connecting rooms and specifically requested an extra bed during the reservation, but had to call reception to remind them and only around midnight did someone finally come to set it up. Then there’s their famous Nikki Beach, with ridiculously overpriced drinks a bottle that costs €30 in any regular shop is sold for €300there 😃 That’s not exclusivity, that’s daylight robbery. We’re always happy to pay for quality, but this was just absurd. The service was impersonal, and the overall experience terrible. Definitely not planning to return.

This Hotel is an iconic experience. Not Grand Hotel, not modern ... a place by itself - do not expect perfectionism - this is personality. Embrace it and encourage them to give their best – with a smile.

Le Méridien Beach Plaza is a luxurious and elegant hotel located in Monaco's Larvotto district, offering a unique seaside experience. The property features modern rooms, including suites, with access to a private beach and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can indulge in Mediterranean cuisine at L'Intempo Restaurant or enjoy poolside dining at Muse Restaurant. The hotel also boasts a fully equipped fitness center, spa with wellness treatments, two outdoor pools, and a heated indoor pool.
We stayed for 2 days at this beautiful hotel and absolutely loved it. Special thanks to Francesco at the reception – he arranged a stunning room for us with the best possible view, just as we wished. We had never stayed in such a luxurious and spacious hotel before. The room was huge, even equipped with a coffee machine – simply perfect. The service was excellent as well, with our luggage delivered directly to the room. Everything was flawless. On our next trip to Monaco, we will definitely book the same room again. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Beach Plaza in Monaco and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel boasts a fantastic location on Av. Princesse Grâce, offering beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The pool was a definite highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Monaco. Breakfast was also quite good, with a variety of options that satisfied our tastes and started each day on a positive note. Our room was nice and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room maintenance; it wasn’t kept up to the standard I expected, with some small issues that could have been addressed better. Additionally, I found the concierge service to be somewhat unhelpful, which was a bit of a letdown given the hotel’s premium status. The valet staff were exceptionally professional and helpful, making the arrival and departure process smooth and stress-free. On the downside, the gym was quite small and limited in equipment, which was disappointing considering the overall price paid. Overall, a solid choice for comfort, good amenities, and friendly service in Monaco. With some improvements in room maintenance and concierge assistance, it could easily be a five-star experience. I would consider returning, especially for the pool and breakfast.

Private beach and 2 pools are extremely enjoyable indeed. However when you book a Sea View Designer room in Crystal Tower and you get the room on the 3rd floor - you see only trees and nothing but trees. A part from that disappointment - it was a good stay.
Lyubov L — Google review
This was our third stay at Le Méridien in Monaco, and overall it’s an okay hotel – but it’s clear that it was built years ago and has long been a gold mine for its owners without much reinvestment. Rooms feel worn, furniture shows its age, bathroom fixtures are outdated, and balcony door seals are literally hanging down. Large, noisy AC units on the balcony don’t help either. Arrival is usually chaotic – the driveway is overcrowded, valet parking costs about three times more than the public garage just across the street, and if you don’t use valet, you’re asked to remove your car quickly. The lobby is constantly packed with guests, and a small, overwhelmed reception team struggles to manage the flow. As a Platinum member, benefits are limited. Breakfast is included, but getting an upgrade requires persistence. Despite being told “no availability” multiple times, we eventually managed to switch to a larger room after a few days – which I appreciated. On the positive side, the beach bar has been beautifully renovated, the gym is still quite ok and slightly improved over the years, and the direct beach access is truly exceptional – and frankly the main reason we keep coming back. Without it, we’d likely have switched hotels long ago. Food and drinks are decent, but the price-performance ratio is extremely poor, even by Monaco standards. For example, you pay €20–30 for a simple sandwich here, while just next door at a very good pizzeria you get a proper starter and main course for the same price. Unfortunately, service is often invisible, slow, and breakfast is pure chaos – especially from September onward when corporate groups fill the hotel. All in all, this is a property whose best days are clearly behind it, but due to the unique beachfront location, we’ll probably return despite the high prices.
Danny — Google review
Most things about the hotel were great except for the room. Excellent breakfast served in a nice location, great concierge, nice beach on premises, location is a bit out of the way but easy enough to get around by bus. We were lucky to get upgraded to an executive 1 bedroom suite which was spacious and had a great view but the room itself was fairly run down (styling out of date, wood furniture in particular was very beaten/chipped) and absolutely NO outlets in useful locations. Not sure I would stay here again for the price.
Alex C — Google review
Hotel was nice. Good location.Had lunch at the rest which was good. We stayed here on the last two days of our trip. We sent in laundry for express service so we wouldn’t need to do it when we returned home. The night before our flight I grabbed one of the shirts and it smelled a bit like mildew. I noticed it more as the night went on but assumed it was a one off. The next morning, getting ready for the flight, I grabbed some track pants ( which they charged $70 to laundry) and I smelled the mildew again. The laundry fee was almost $400. I send a message on the way to the airport to notify them of the issue. They offered me $60 off. I told them I did not think that was sufficient since I would be rewatching everything when I got home. They offered me 20,000 points (which they never gave me). The hotel was fine but the way they handled this was not good at all.

Le Méridien hotel has a really beautiful sea view and its own private beach. The place itself is pretty chill, but the staff definitely isn’t they don’t even greet you when you arrive, no “hello,” nothing. They’re quite rude, which really affects the experience. The swimming pools are okay but could use some renovation. There’s also a tiny portable sauna, but no hammam.
Tess — Google review
High standard hotel, with great see-view rooms. Prices are in line with Monaco. The breakfast buffet is quite rich with many salty and sweet options.

Nestled in the former premises of Radio Monte-Carlo, Novotel Monte Carlo offers a contemporary stay with bright rooms and an outdoor pool. The hotel features an all-you-can-eat brunch at Novotel Cafe on select days, offering a set menu with champagne and a buffet of sweet and savory delicacies. Guests can enjoy free parking at the hotel's car park when dining at the restaurant. The property boasts terraces, colorful gardens, and spacious rooms with modern decor.
Stayed for a week for work. I was kindly upgraded to an executive room on a high floor which gave great views of the sea and the Rocher (despite the tower being built in front of the hotel). Friendly and courteous staff. Having stayed in various mid-range Accor properties for various work trips, I can say this one does not conform to the image of a standard Novotel - this one is a class above - exceptionally clean, modern, nicer than expected amenities. The rooms are very comfortable, well sound proofed, and with quiet and very effective air conditioning. I didn’t have time to enjoy the pool facilities but these looked great. Great location not far from Monaco Monte Carlo train station. 5-10 mins walk to the casino / carré d’or. Buses from Roqueville station right outside the hotel will take you anywhere in the region if you don’t want to walk. Overall, a stay that exceeded expectations and I hope to return!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and since check in was done prior, it was very quick and painless. Since we checked in earlier than usual, thankfully our request was granted and our room was ready. The room itself was facing the street, it was a nice adequate room. The bar was nice and welcoming, did not use the pool or the restaurant. The staff very helpful and polite. However, since this hotel is on the hill, not suitable for the elderly, disabled or anyone with back issues like myself.

I recently went to Monaco and decided to book this hotel. From the moment I entered to the one I left, it was a beautiful experience. The rooms were clean and the weather was great enough to swim in the pool. I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Conclusion: I recommend this hotel. 5 stars.

We stayed at Novotel Monte Carlo from October 15 to 16 and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful both during check-in and check-out. They kindly accommodated our early arrival by storing our luggage, allowing us to enjoy a city walk before our room was ready. At check-out, they once again allowed us leave our bags while we explored a few more city spots — a small gesture that made our day so much easier. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, but it was truly the kindness and professionalism of the staff that made our stay special. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Monte Carlo — great location, excellent service, and warm hospitality!
Margo U — Google review
The room is fine overall, I’ve stayed in nicer. The air conditioning barely works, so the room is warm. The mini fridge does not work, so don’t expect anything to stay cold. They do give you a tea kettle to heat water for tea or instant coffee. Room service is awful (dinner that is) everything comes in a jar?? So they must not have a real kitchen/cook. No, I would not stay here again.

Very nice Hôtel , the staff is awesome from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, bar staff. The rooms have been recently refurbished, its clean and well designed. The best experience is having a coffee on your room terrace on the 9th floor overlooking Monaco's harbour.

Would just like to pass on our thanks for a fantastic afternoon at Azzura. Maurizio was exceptional! Absolutely terrible experience. My fiancé and I had clothing and a bag stolen during our stay at this hotel. At first, I wasn’t 100% sure it happened here—until I purposely left behind a dress as a test. When I called a few days later, I was told nothing had been left behind. I followed up with emails to both management and customer service, and there were no replies. This confirms everything: items are not safe here, management is unresponsive, and the level of trust is nonexistent. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, stay somewhere else.

Hotel Ambassador Monaco is a casually decorated hotel with contemporary pizzeria. It's located in a prime spot, offering easy access to the port, restaurants, shops and the train station. The rooms are well-equipped with standard amenities like TV, mini bar, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access and cable. The hotel also offers spacious rooms and bathrooms that are kept very clean. Additionally, it provides good value for business travelers and those on a budget.
We stayed at Hotel Ambassador for two nights as we were getting married at a church in Monaco. The hotel may need a few small updates, but we had a great experience overall. The price is very reasonable for Monaco — you won’t find anything else nearby in the same range. Our room was clean (the housekeeping was excellent), and the lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded us for free when she heard about our wedding. The upgraded room was larger and more comfortable than the one we had booked. Great location, kind staff, and a warm atmosphere. Thank you for making our special trip even better!
Katya F — Google review
It was a very serviceable room, clean bed and mini-fridge complete with kettle. The bathroom seemed moldy but it could have just been stained. No complaints about the staff at all, were pretty friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk to the Palais Princier and a 30 minute walk to Monte Carlo (if I remember correctly) - just be warned you’ll be walking uphill to see the sights! There is also a market not too far away.

Central location and some friendly staff but even an Ibis hotel offers a better standard of room and facilities. Very dated and dirty areas in the room, unpleasant drain smells and overall very low quality. Breakfast consisted of some cheese, bread, pastries, hard boiled eggs, high sugar cereals and processed fruit and cakes as well as teas and coffees - it was OK but probably as tired as the rest of the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel.
Londoner A — Google review
They are not responsive to any email questions. It is easy to get to walking from the train station, however, the IPhone maps doesn't recognize the various levels to walk through or the public lifts and pedestrian tunnels so be forwarned. It's a basic hotel in a good location.
Laura L — Google review
The hotel is “okay”. Small but clean rooms, the staff tries their best but they struggle with any language but French. The alleged expansive breakfast buffet is quite small, consists mostly of unbearable sweet stuff and the breakfast times 7-10 are not very tourist friendly.
Simon F — Google review
The hotel is mediocre. The gentleman at the reception was not very helpful. The breakfast was quite simple. The cleanliness of the room and the facilities were very average.
Nela M — Google review
We enjoyed our stay. The room was older, but well kept and seems to have had a recent bathroom renovation. The staff was friendly and courteous. The area is close to everything- shopping, marina, Prince’s palace. Cute shops and markets in every direction.
Bill S — Google review
If you’re on a budget, then this is the most friendly option. The man at the reception seemed very apathetic and a bit irritated like we were bothering him. The building is dated, and while the rooms themselves are clean and modern looking, the bathroom is another story. It smells horrible and damp, and if you leave the door open, the whole room smells like drainage. There’s barely any room to store anything in the bathroom and almost no sockets in the bedroom. The breakfast is okay, nothing of note. Honestly the only good thing is the location, the discount on the car park and maybe the price.

Hotel Metropole, Monte Carlo is a luxurious 1886 hotel offering elegant rooms and suites, upscale restaurants, a luxe spa, and an outdoor pool. Located near the Place du Casino and the Metropole Shopping Center in Monaco, this family-owned hotel offers exclusive experiences for guests such as private views at the Princes Palace and guided tours of Cap Moderne. The hotel is home to Michelin-starred restaurants including Yoshi, offering Japanese cuisine by head chef Takeo Yamazaki.
Hotel Metropole and their staff were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and always there if we needed anything. Their concierge team was particularly great, from booking dinner reservations to giving suggestions on where to visit, they had us covered.

I cannot rave enough about this hotel! For my first time in Monaco I decided to partake in their “FROM METROPOLE WITH LOVE” experience. If you have a birthday or a special event this cannot be missed! I never felt more pampered. From a private tour of the casino to a private helicopter ride over the city to lunch to a 2 hour spa treatment to a 2 Michelin star tasting dinner to chips to spend at the casino to a cigar tasting to a decorated room I was overwhelmed with luxury. It was the perfect birthday. I did not have to lift a finger or think of a thing. Well thought out and well executed. I cannot thank the Métropole conceirge team enough! Merci!

My mother and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for six nights in mid-September. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and I appreciated their warm care for my mother, who was in her 80s. It's in a great location, beautiful inside and out, and the gorgeous lobby and bar smelled lovely. We enjoyed watching the birds fly around the courtyard like Formula One racers!

I will never stay at this hotel again and if you are from Saudi or any GCC countries I recommend to you not to stay here … you will feel unwelcome while spending big amounts of money with no appreciation!

Disappointing Experience at Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo – Definitely Not a 5-Star Standard Visited on 23 August 2025 Our recent visit to Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo on 23 August 2025 was a huge disappointment and far from the five-star experience we anticipated. The first red flag came with the bill: €75 for three lemonades an outrageous price for drinks that didn’t even taste good. I’ve traveled extensively and dined in high-end hotels around the world, but I’ve never encountered such a blatant overcharge for something so basic. The dining experience by the pool continued the disappointment. The food was extremely overpriced and resembled a 2-star meal at best. To make things worse, we had to wait 15 minutes just to receive water, despite the hot weather. At a luxury hotel, water should be offered immediately, especially when guests are seated in the sun. The poolside atmosphere was uncomfortable, with sugar daddies and their young escorts dominating the scene. A group of Russian females received near constant attention from staff, while the rest of us were largely ignored. It gave the place an unprofessional and tacky feel. We were also relentlessly bitten by mosquitos, making it hard to enjoy the meal or setting. No measures seemed to be in place to address this, which again falls short of the standard one expects from a supposed five-star property. While the hotel is visually stunning from the outside, the interior is outdated and in need of an update. Overall, Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo relies heavily on its reputation and location, but fails to deliver a true luxury experience. Sadly, this is not a place I would return to or recommend.
Sophia — Google review
We stayed here in early June 2025, and had a great experience overall. Hotel location is a huge benefit, with a less than a couple minute walk to the casino and across from the tour bus, if that’s what you want to do. The petite dejeune breakfast options at Odyssey and Les Ambassadeurs are outstanding. Overall theme is a more classic and refined that contemporary which is a change from other hotels in the area.

Nestled on a private peninsula overlooking the Mediterranean, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort offers a sophisticated yet relaxed retreat amidst lush gardens. The hotel features chic dining options overseen by Chef Marcel Ravin and boasts a spa, a sand-bottomed lagoon pool, and a casino. Guests can enjoy the healing powers of nature in this exceptional setting. While some feel that the rooms may need refurbishment, many appreciate the comfortable accommodations with sea and garden views.
Great family hotel in a fantastic location in Monaco. The outdoor areas are beautiful and very spacious given the location. Staff generally friendly. The rooms are a little dated and showing their age but not to the degree it’s a problem. Some silly prices by the pool but to be expected.

Beautiful hotel in Monte Carlo. The restaurants are truly excellent – every meal was a highlight. Service is correct and efficient, not over the top but everything well managed. The pool and the greenery around the property are absolutely stunning. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, but a bit too minimalistic for Monte Carlo – they lack some local charm. Also, our double bed had two mattresses put together, which kept moving apart and was slightly uncomfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

I was luckily to stay here for a work event for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious with a huge bath and separate shower. Loved the balcony with a sofa which I did not get to enjoy enough!
Katie B — Google review
Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are tired and need a refresh. The “king size” beds are two twins pushed together with a substantial groove down the center. The pillows are flat as pancakes. The AC did not cool the room down at all. They only use a comforter on the bed, no top sheet so sleeping was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Very stingy on the towels and soap. Would not stay here again. Staff is wonderful though.

Was lucky enough to attend a conference in Monaco and this was our hotel. A real amazing experience - you feel like living the dream. Rooms are spacious and the sheer size of the gardens overwhelm you with some fantastic views.

Good hotel stay was perfect. But for some strange reason they have a policy to not renew the water bottles in the room for the entire stay. So once you drink the bottle on the first day. Thats it no more water bottle. In this day and age where hydration is so important this shouldn’t be charged. Spirits I understand but water??! Therefore 1 star for being greedy

Location amazing, service great, rooms very average for the price. Yet, If it was my hotel, i would do the following changes: - move the gym somewhere with a view of at least with windows and in a bigger place. Very claustrophobic. - walking from pool to sea destroys your feet. Maybe add rubber or fix the floor! - the enclosed sea access feels really cheap for such a hotel. When you swim, you cannot see beyond it, very weird feeling. Also there is no place to sit or rest, it is either swim or leave. Maybe put a kind of pontoon or buoy or floating platform. These are not costly suggestions that would tweak the experience for the better! Thanks
Mehdi M — Google review
I loved this hotel (first time staying with them, and first time in Monaco). I have to say, for those who have never been: it is about 2.2 km from the most touristic areas around Casino de Monte Carlo and Cafe Paris, right across the street from Hotel Paris. But that to my husband and I was the best part! It was quiet, and a perfect place to relax. You can easily spend 2 or 3 days just within the resort's pools, restaurants, and spa. But if what you're looking for is proximity to the luxury shops, you'll need either a cab, which the hotel can arrange for you, or you can take the bus. Line 5 has a stop right outside the hotel, it was 2 euros per person for the one-way ticket, air conditioned bus with plenty of seats at that stop. It filled out as it stopped along the town, but nothing concerning. I love this hotel wholeheartedly, and would stay here again if/when I come back.

Casino Square is a famous plaza in Monaco, surrounded by the upscale Monte Carlo Casino and high-end restaurants. It's a popular spot for live events and people-watching, offering glimpses of the lavish lifestyle and expensive cars that frequent the area. Many sightseeing tours include a stop at Casino Square along with other historic sites like the Princes Palace and landmarks such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix track.
This is a pristine and often busy plaza fronting the legendary casino. I feel this is the epitome of the Monte Carlo vibe. Elegant hotels and boutiques surround the plaza, with people dressed in fancy attire, and luxury cars casually parked along the perimeter. I recommend this if you want to experience the glamorous atmosphere the Monte Carlo section of Monaco is known for. I also recommend going inside the lobby of the casino (lobby entry is free all day) to feel the sumptuous vibe even more. Don't be intimidated by the grandeur of the casino, the staff are very friendly.

Place du Casino or The Casino Square, is located in the center of Monte Carlo, the most popular tourist attraction of Monaco. The square is surrounded by luxurious hotels, casinos with beautiful architecture. Luxury cars are parked in the square, car lovers are free to take pictures. Just observing the surroundings is a lot of fun. It's very crowded, but nice to spend some time there.

The Mirror Ball Fountain (also known as the Sky Mirror) in front of the Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The large reflective sphere is a popular photo spot because it captures the grand casino building in its curved surface, especially striking at night with the lights and fountain surrounding it in the Place du Casino, the central plaza in Monaco’s famous Carré d’Or district—home to luxury shops, high-end restaurants, and iconic Belle Époque architecture.

Place du Casino is the glamorous heart of Monte-Carlo. Surrounded by the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel de Paris, and luxury shops, it feels like stepping into a world of elegance and prestige. The square is beautifully designed, with its gardens, fountain, and impressive architecture all around. Day or night, it is full of energy and style, making it one of the must-see spots in Monaco.

Feels more like a luxury car show than a public square. Ferraris, Lambos, Rolls – all parked like it's no big deal. The place is clean, stylish, and perfect for that "just casually standing by my car" photo. Worth a stop just to soak in the over-the-top Monte Carlo vibe.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Monte Carlo, the Princess Grace Japanese Garden is a tranquil escape that beautifully marries traditional Japanese landscaping with Mediterranean charm. Spanning around 7,000 square meters, this serene oasis was crafted by esteemed landscape architect Yasuo Beppu and opened its doors in 1994. Visitors can wander along picturesque paths that wind around a peaceful pond adorned with koi fish, cross charming bridges, and find solace in a quaint tea house.
A calm and peaceful park in the heart of Monaco. It is very serene and you can relax walking through the garden. A few years ago the garden used to offer spectacular sea views, but sadly newly constructed buildings have blocked this view.

Princess Grace Japanese Garden is a peaceful and beautifully designed place in Monaco. The mix of water, trees, and traditional Japanese style creates a relaxing atmosphere. A perfect spot to take a walk, enjoy nature, and escape the busy city for a while.”

🍃 Japanese Garden, Monaco – A living poem of peace and balance The Japanese Garden in Monaco is one of those places where time seems to slow down. Everything here — the water, the stones, the bridges, the sound of the wind — feels perfectly balanced. It’s a small sanctuary right in the heart of the city, yet it holds the calm of a mountain temple. Every path seems to tell a story. The koi fish move gracefully in the pond, the bamboo rustles softly, and the reflections of the trees shimmer like thoughts passing through the mind. This garden isn’t meant to be rushed — it’s meant to be felt. If you love mindfulness, design, or simply need a pause from the city’s rhythm, this is the place to visit. Spend a few minutes sitting by the water, breathe deeply, and you’ll feel how peace naturally returns to you. I’ve visited many meditation spaces, but the Japanese Garden in Monaco has a unique vibration — it’s not just beauty you see, it’s serenity you feel. 🍃✨
Maka M — Google review
Nice garden but never expected the water to be so dirty. I entered coz I knew that there would or should be a good collection of koi’s, which are present in every Japanese garden. But was totally disappointed.. come to my house & see the kois you will love them. I have put one video of my kois too the clean pond is mine… please check. The stone lay outs I liked & the stand for birds to bathe is beautiful too. But sadly not Japanese way of cleanliness.

Le Jardin Japonais is one of the most peaceful spots in Monaco. It’s not very large, but it’s incredibly well maintained and beautifully arranged — every detail feels intentional. The mix of water, stones, plants, and wooden bridges creates a truly calming atmosphere. You can hear the sound of the water, watch the koi fish, and just take a quiet moment away from the busy city. It’s also a lovely place for photos or a short, refreshing walk. A perfect little escape in the heart of Monaco — serene, elegant, and full of charm. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one Beautiful Spiritual Church, where I felt at Peace within myself. Very Spiritual despite the busy bustling of Monaco 🇲🇨. Indeed Very Holy and Quiet. The Best place for soul searching. Thank you for having such a place in such a Beautiful Country of Monaco.

Harbor
Port Hercule, located in the heart of Monaco's Condamine neighborhood, is a historic deep-water port that has been in use since ancient times. It is known for showcasing luxury sailboats and yachts and is the only deep-water port in Monaco. The port hosts high-end events like the annual Monaco Yacht Show and offers convenient access to transportation, supermarkets, and leisure amenities.
The port is huge and it’s like the exposition of luxury yachts. There are many elevated view points over the harbour as well as possibility to come closer to yachts to realise how huge they are. Amazing place. Definitely worth to check it out.
Anastasiia K — Google review
Wow, the yachts are fabulous! Spend an hour strolling around the harbour wondering about who owns these floating wonders and how they are manoeuvred into harbour. Iconic Monaco. The architecture in the harbour area itself was not quite as spectacular as I’d imagined, it’s the boats that make the view.
Jo S — Google review
a very beautiful and lively place. An atmosphere of wealth and luxury. A marina (also called a yacht harbor) is a port whose berths, docks and facilities are intended for the needs of pleasure shipping (sailing and motor yachts) and which is mainly used for commercial purposes.

Port Hercule in Monaco is a place to visit! Nice spot along French Riviera to enjoy and compare your regular 30-40ft to the yachts here:) Everything is well taken care of with luxury and elegance everywhere. The yachts are seriously impressive. There's some cool waterfront restaurants and cafes that serve up delicious food with top-notch service and price tag:)

Aparthotel Adagio Monaco Monte-Cristo is a relaxed accommodation option that offers comfortable studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments equipped with kitchens. Located at the gates of Monaco, this aparthotel provides easy access to all areas of the principality. The 76 air-conditioned apartments are ideal for both business trips and leisure getaways on the French Riviera. Guests have praised the spacious and clean rooms, as well as the helpful and friendly staff.
Great place, very flexible, worked wonderfully for our family of 3 + one additional adult guest. What's cool is that it's technically in Beausoleil, which means Uber works there (it does not in Monte Carlo) - we were able to have Uber drive us there and pick us up for the trip to NCE. Very close to the train station too (check out and use the public elevators) and public transportation. GREAT breakfast options too (we are originally from Europe, but live in the US now and miss the European foods). Spacious rooms (we got a 2-bedroom apt), everybody had their privacy, while being able to spend time together too.
Claude K — Google review
We stayed with two young kids (<3 yrs old), so an apartment style hotel is very practical for us. Balcony was very usable (no view though), two rooms and the bathroom with separate toilet. Underbench fridge was big enough for us, with a microwave and cooktop. Breakast was pretty good for your French continental style from 07:00 until 10:30. Silver members and above can choose from non-alcoholic drinks or beer for their welcome drink - sadly I can't drink beer so opted for a Coke :( Location-wise, two public lifts take you to the top entrance of Monaco train station, then lifts take you down to the ticket hall and then platforms. Over the 5-days in Monaco, we did feel like we spent half of it traversing lifts and precariously on escalators with our double-pram, but at least you can get up and down the hills in most cases but it can involve doubling-back on oaccasions. Some of the footpaths are not wide enough for double-prams - in general, Monaco isn't that friendly for a young family! We did manage to go down to the beach near the Grimaldi Forum though which was quite nice. We would stay again, most likely during the same conference next year!

I recently stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Monaco Monte Cristo for a business trip and was very disappointed with the experience. The air conditioning unit in the room made a constant, loud noise, making it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, other equipment in or around the room also contributed to a very disruptive environment. For someone who needs proper rest during a work trip, this was extremely frustrating. The room felt outdated and in need of renovation. While the location is convenient, the overall quality does not justify the high summer prices. Perhaps the rate is different in other seasons, but for the summer period, it felt overpriced for what was provided. Another major concern was the attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, they were unhelpful and at times rude. Any attempt to ask for assistance was met with resistance, as if guests were bothering them. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere that made the stay even more unpleasant. If you’re traveling to Monaco for business or simply value peace, comfort, and respectful service, I would recommend looking at other accommodation options until these issues are properly addressed.

Positives: Good location as in close to central Monte Carlo. Value for money? Perhaps. But, on the flipside, first impression, we arrive late (as we have informed), the guy working the night shift is all but nice. He is demonstrating by every means possible how irritated he is. Not a great welcome. Room? Spacious on paper, but layout is bad so the feeling is that it is very small. Comfortable? Not really. Beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. Temperature in the summer heat? AC is very weak so air/temperature is not great. Will I choose this place to stay next time? Definitely not actually.
Emil R — Google review
My stay at this hotel was terrible from the start. I was first given a room without a shower, and when I asked to change it, the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. Eventually, they moved me to another room, but that one had its own issues. The air conditioning barely worked and couldn’t cool the room properly. On top of that, it made a loud noise every 20 minutes — all night long — which constantly woke me up and made it impossible to get proper rest. Smell not pleasant in the rooms I had to move rooms again the next day. Overall, it was an exhausting, frustrating experience. Poor service, faulty facilities, and no comfort. Definitely would not recommend.
L V — Google review
It’s by far the WORSE hotel that I stay in my life. It’s so bad that my original booking was 11 nights, and I put for 4 cause was the minimum cause they hold money on my card. The staff is at least unqualified, not to say lazy and rude. They don’t do bare minimum, or at least empathized with anything. I a middle of the night flight cause was the only one that have, what makes me keep awake the whole night. The night before I call them and ask for early check in, they say was for availability. Booking and his own site had a bunch of rooms available. I arrived 10 am and they let me in the bedroom 3:40pm (31 hours without sleep). Not theirs obligation, but zero empathic. No one help me with one luggage, and the room don’t even have water. My happiest day is gonna be when I leave.

For the family room (2 adults, 3 children) it was OK considering the price; no complimentary mineral water or coffee capsules (meanwhile the coffee machine Nespresso was there) All 3 kids got free breakfast as compensation for the fully booked parking place in the hotel. It was OK for 1 night.

It is in the center and you have easy access everywhere..! There is no air conditioning and the bathroom radiator doesn't work (also closed.. It was very hot.) In general, in all the rooms there was too much heat.. The noise from the street is something else... You can't sleep and rest from 4 o'clock in the morning trucks from Carrefour Super Market unload right below the room ..Very excellent and Kind

Honestly, the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in any hotel/apartment. The staff seem genuinely irritated to do anything. Goodness forbid you ask them anything. Worst than a cheap youth hostel, avoid at all cost. The grey haired man with the top knot on the front desk is dismissive and frankly rude. You get what you pay for, cheap accommodation and bad service.

If you enjoy proper Air Conditioning, this NOT the hotel for you. The staff are nice but actually claim they never have AC complaints, but the reviews are littered with them! And they leave fans in the closets but they are old and dirty. Never cleaned. Even the breakfast area has no ventilation or AC. Temperature inside the rooms is minimum 26-28, outside is actually cooler. You can leave the windows open, but outside is very loud. Poor management by Accor, definitely not to their standards. I even asked to speak to the manager three times and the manager never came or called.

Only 6 min walk to Casino albeit downhill which means all uphill coming home. Excellent bakery & supermarket next door. Our room was large & clean. Facilities are a bit dated but all clean & well maintained. I thought good value for money.

You need to use the parking garage (Parking Indigo Beausoleil Belle-Époque) – the hotel provides a discount (€18/24h, with in-and-out access as needed). Great location – just a 10-minute walk to the Monte Carlo Casino. Right next to the hotel there’s a nice bakery (pastry shop) and a Carrefour grocery store. Pet-friendly – €6 per night for a dog. There’s a small pool. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchenette. Downside: the AC seemed to be working, but it didn’t actually cool the room.

I stayed at the Aparthotel Adagio Monaco Palais Joséphine in July of 2025 and had a great experience. I don't think you can possible stay closer to Monaco without being in Monaco and as I was there for work it was an optimal hotel. There's a Carrefour City just around the corner which sells, among other things: ice, spiced rum, and coke. What more could you need? The room was great - nice patio with a reasonably good view of the sea and in the sweltering, brutal, soul obliterating heat the temperature in the room was thankfully cool. I didn't need it but the room had nice amenities in terms of kitchen - good sized mini fridge with freezer, cook top etc. I tried the included breakfast one morning of two but as a Canadian it was not to my liking - really only the eggs did it for me. Would have loved some bacon or sausage and some breakfast potatoes but I understand that is unlikely to be found here so all good. Overall great experience. Next time I'm back to Monaco I will totally stay here again - so much better than staying in Nice and taking the train in.

Exactly as advertised. Loved the location - easy walk to market, train station, shops/restaurants, palace, casino. Buses nearby. Close to Eze. Room small but comfortable outstanding housekeeping. Friendly desk staff - helpful and accommodating. Shower tiny but good water flow. Overall it worked out perfectly as a home base to visit many other destinations. Close to city pool which was a good take with my 13 year old. Great coffee and good enough breakfast to start our day off right. Would love to see a bit more cheer added with fresh flowers at reception!

The hotel, even though is 2 * hotel, is very clean, and located in a very good area, close to port Hercule (5 minutes walk), also close to Palais Principer . They clean your room and change towels everyday, if you put the sign on the door for cleaning. Also a very big plus is the AIRCO, which is realy necesarry and satisfying during these realy hot times of 27-38 degrees. 2 downsides would be: no elevator, so if you have maby luggage, goodluck climbing those stairs! And the breakfast is reaaaly poor, so don't count on that . Overall, good stay if you come to visit Monaco. Enjoy!

Cheapest option you'll find in Monaco. The receptionist was nice, the room was exactly as advertised in the pictures, shampoo and soap were provided for. The hotel itself wasn't cheap per se, but I think it's the cheapest you will find in Monaco. The location was good. On the other hand, the bathroom was a little too small and when you are in the toilet you almost hit the lavatory. There's no elevator.

I’m a doctor and I visit Monaco for work frequently and I never had a terrible service , cold room and very rude receptionist like this. The didn’t have lifts in the whole facilities and the “ French gentleman “ who was covering the very small desk ....we asked him if could help as we had 4 languages and I had some back injuries and he replied: “you will be fine and you are strong tall men and you will not die “! For 2 days they “forget “ to replace towels !!?! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL! Terrible!!!!!!!

The Museum of Stamps and Coins, located near Fontvieille port in Monaco, is a unique attraction showcasing the principality's rich cultural heritage through its extensive collection of historical postage stamps, banknotes, and coins. The museum houses rare philatelic specimens dating back to 1885 and documents used for stamp printing. Visitors can explore the numismatic history of Monaco since 1640 through an array of coins and banknotes on display.
Very welcoming gentleman at the front. We had a small child with a stroller and had no issues. Entry was around 8 euro each, small children were free. The museum is petite and has a wide variety of stamps and coins that date back hundreds of years. We walked out with some stamps for souvenir purchase. The man at the front showed us exclusive F1 stamp collection from low to high and explained everything. Thank you

In these last 3 years I was ready in the 'queue-fair' waiting list for 2-3 hours to buy an euro coin. For 3 years in a row (10 minutes ago the 3rd time happened), it refreshes/reload when it's 10'o'clock. This time it sayed "the queue is now closed, all coins are sold out"...? Within 0,01 second? After refreshing it for 5 minutes I am now no. 9500 in the queue... problaby missing buying an euro coin AGAIN.. Selling these coins is a wonderful "cash cow" for this museum I bet.. so it probably doesn't care about the quality of services like this queue-fair partner which has the worst service ever.

We visited the museum when Google said it was open. However, the guard at the front door said that the museum had been closed for at least three weeks for renovations. He had no idea when it would be open again. I'm not sure whether it was Google or the museum staff that dropped the ball but it was definitely a disappointment.
Jeremiah S — Google review
A wonderful little museum telling the history of Monaco's postage stamp and coin development through its Monegasque stamp and coin collection. If you pay attention to the details, you can even follow the country's history itself. A pity (or perhaps a blessing) it is rarely visited; there were only three visitors at the time, me included. I guess those reviews from annoyed online shoppers are not really helping, but they are completely irrelevant to the actual museum.

At 13:00 it was finally my turn to buy the coin, I then reached the site and it said that the coin was "épuisé"....... Can someone please explain to me how 15.000 coins were sold when there were only 10.000 people before me??? Baddest service ever and each year the same terrible experience.....

I had a very disappointing experience with the staff, particularly the supervisor. She entered my room with a technician without my permission, even though I have valuable items with me. When I questioned why they were conducting work without asking me first, she was extremely rude. I'm completely fed up with staying here. There’s no sense of security at all.

The room is fine. The windows are not double glazed so you hear everything outside. There is construction going on. There is also maintenance going on inside the building. They were working all day from my check in until 18:30. They then return at 08:18. When other guests enter the building you hear everything. I barely got any sleep due to this. I would not recommend staying here whilst there is so much maintenance going on. I made a mistake, the windows are double glazed but they let in a lot of noise.

After a tiring train journey, we simply wanted to drop off our luggage at the hotel so we could spend the afternoon exploring the city. When a staff member approached us, she greeted us with a dismissive attitude right away. We calmly explained that we just wanted to leave our luggage for a few hours. Without any greeting or understanding, she informed us that this would cost €60 – €20 per hour – which we found completely unreasonable. She then offered an alternative: we could check into the room early for €100 – again delivered under visible time pressure and without any friendliness. We asked for 5 minutes to think it over, which she again commented on with clear annoyance (“How long?” – in an impatient tone). At first, we declined and took our luggage with us – unfortunately a mistake, as we later couldn’t find a restaurant in the city that would let us in with our suitcases. It was all very inconvenient, so we decided to return and check in early after all. When we got back, we had to knock several times and wait several minutes before the staff member finally opened the door, visibly annoyed, and said, “What now?” After we briefly explained, she turned around without a word and walked upstairs ahead of us. Once upstairs, we wanted to pay the €100 early check-in fee by card, but she held out her hand and expected the money in cash – giving us a disparaging look. When we politely asked if something was wrong, she angrily responded that we were disturbing her work, that she was “not the owner,” and that we shouldn’t tell her how to do her job. Then she simply turned around and left us standing there. This experience made for a very unpleasant and disappointing start to our time in Monaco. We weren’t welcomed — we were treated like a burden. Such behavior is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry, no matter how cheap the hotel may be.

The worst property I have ever experienced. Very small and uncomfortable bed, no fan or air conditioning, view on building in front, no kitchen, dangerous wires hanging from the ceiling. The property is NOT in Monaco, it is in France. The photos do not represent the room I was given. I was charged 250 euros one night for a dump. Avoid at all costs, total scam !

THIS IS THE WORST ACCOMMODATION I HAVE STAYED IN!!! VERY RUDE STAFF (The woman in charge of maintenance should be fired) THEY DON'T WANT TO TALK TO THE GUESTS, THEY HAVE A LOT OF STUPID AND UNNECESSARY RULES. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
