The Grand Pier in Weston Super Mare is a renowned landmark that offers a classic seaside experience. It features an array of attractions, including indoor rides, arcade games, and a funfair at the end of the pier. Visitors can also enjoy treats like candy floss and ice cream while taking in the scenic views of the sea and beach. The pier's grand pavilion houses various entertainment options, from slot machines to a ghost train called the 'Castle of Doom'.
The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare is a great place for a fun day out. There’s something for everyone, whether you're visiting with family, friends, or just looking for a bit of seaside nostalgia. The arcade games and rides inside are a big hit with kids and adults alike. There’s a nice mix of classic games and modern attractions, including a small indoor roller coaster and a 4D cinema. The pier also has places to grab a bite to eat, from tasty fish and chips to sweet treats like donuts and ice cream. The views out to sea are lovely, especially on a clear day, and walking along the pier gives you that classic British seaside experience. It’s clean, well-kept, and has a lively, friendly atmosphere. Overall, the Grand Pier is a fun and affordable way to spend a few hours by the sea. A must-visit if you're in Weston-super-Mare! Parking can be found opposite the pier on the main road or in the town. Free motorcycle parking down the main road on the beachfront. Free toilets in the pier, but the pier is £2 each to enter. Well worth it!

We had an amazing time at The Grand Pier and Weston-super-Mare! The beach was lively with so much to do rides, food stalls, ice cream, and activities for everyone. The sand was absolutely amazing and so soft, perfect for relaxing or playing with the kids. We stayed to watch the sunset, which was phenomenal! The only downsides were that the water was quite dirty and stayed far out most of the day, only coming closer around 6 in the evening. Overall though, it was such a fun and memorable day out. Definitely worth a visit
Maria H — Google review
I wish they had a sunny beer terrace on the top floor of the pier—it would make a huge difference. Watching the sunset with a beer in hand is the kind of memorable experience people come back for. Many piers in California offer that, and it really elevates the visit. I also noticed a few loose floorboards that caused someone to stumble, so hopefully those get fixed sooner rather than later.
Evgeny N — Google review
To be honest I feel that charging people to enter the pier at £2 per person is a bit cheeky. However as it was summer holidays there was free face painting and kids characters walking about for photo opportunities so I guess this paid for itself. I took the children to the dinosaur soft play but it wasn’t particularly dino themed, they got bored easily as not the biggest play area. Arcades are large and varied, plenty of toilets dotted about. I chose not to eat so can’t comment on the food. I would say it’s ok to kill a few hours on maybe a rainy day.
Michael C — Google review
The rides were great fun, and the wristband offers good value for unlimited rides. Just be aware that go-karting requires closed-toe shoes—so no sandals! The 2p machines were entertaining but a bit stingy with the prizes. Also, the £2 initial entrance fee to the pier feels a little steep, especially if you're just planning a short visit. It was a great way to spend time together and make some happy memories.
Peter A — Google review
Day out to Weston Supermare and a wander down the pier. £2 entry through turnstiles. Lovely walk - or there’s a free train- we came back on the train being big kids, or rather we were full from a delicious lunch at Tiffany’s. Great views out to sea - tide was out so it was mostly sand! Played on a few machines in the arcade but didn’t win anything!
Roz M — Google review
Got loads to do for kids and big kids! Tickets in advance save you time when you get there. We bought the £30 wristbands which are well worth it if you're planning on spending the full day there, but if adults aren't going on or in anything paying £2 to get in might be the better one if you're mainly there for the amusements
KTY — Google review
£2 to enter and then be prepared - if you have kids - to pump endless 2ps into the machines to win assorted tat worth about 30p. But if you like amusements then you've a good selection for when the rain inevitably pours. The pier itself is well maintained and I guess the £2 entry fee goes towards keeping the structure going, so that's something. Provides great views back over WSM and also a photogenic location for sunsets. Worth a visit if you're walking the seafront, which itself has been much improved over recent years.

Weston Museum, established in the mid-19th century, is dedicated to preserving the historical memory of Weston-super-Mare and its surroundings. The museum showcases archaeological finds dating back almost 400 million years and presents a succession of historical exhibitions spanning different periods up to the present day.
This was an insightful museum to visit, delving into the economic drivers of Weston-Super-Mare throughout time! One section has old railway signage and talks about how the train connectivity brought more money into the town, a boat is shown separately from its industrial heydays. The former Donkey Chair taxi and a model of Weston in the 1960's are unique additions, shopping history is also delved into as the prominent items are touched on and the town's post-World War 2 period. Tourism's impact is another key point even incorporating outfits here, love the puppet theatre attraction as well!

We had an amazing time today at Western Museum. We travelled over to you especially to see the Paul Kidby Discworld exhibition and it was a tremendous experience. The whole museum is brilliant also! The guys at the desk were very friendly and chatty. There’s also a small free car park opposite which was great

Visited Weston for a day and saw this on my last few hours. Clara's cottage was my favourite part - seeing how life was illustrated in a home in the 1900s. Very nice doll collection by Peggy Nisbet. Also, more local history about Weston and its development upstairs. I would recommend seeing this museum before you've done anything else, to get a grasp of the history of the area.
Brim Z — Google review
This was an intetesting local museum with an eclectic mix of things to see, including a house. It also has a small shop, cafe and events space.

I am a MASSIVE Terry Pratchett fan and always thought the covers and art was incredible. The descriptions and art so intertwined and clever. We travelled down from Stockport to Weston Super Mare for the Phil Kidby’s show at Weston Museum as saw a BBC article on it. SOOOOOOOOOO incredibly good and totally free! I was expecting a £10-20 entry, but no totes free. We spent an hour on the show and 40mins rest of the museum. His art is also being sold in the Museum shop. Parking straight across road too.
Emma W — Google review
A fantastic museum and completely FREE! We've visited a couple of times and they have lots of things for the children to look at. On our last visit they also had a Punch and Judy style puppet show of the 3 little pigs which the kids loved. If you're in the area the museum is well worth a visit.
Steven H — Google review
Lovely little museum with friendly staff. Details the history of weston from prehistoric times to modern day. Also has a cafe and an old fashioned cottage that you can look around for free. Beautiful little gem.
Louise J — Google review
We went to the museum during the midterm break. It was a little busy but we didn't have to wait. They had some exhibitions going on - Dr Who and a Renactment. It was really informative and the kids (4 year olds) had a great time. They specially liked Clara's Cottage. In the main museum, there were puzzles for them to arrange and a mini movie upstairs. There's also a little reading corner with few toys. It was a fun day out. They got tired so we didn't explore every bit of the museum so we'd be going back.

Outdoor Activities
Weston Super Mare Beach is a quintessential Victorian English seaside resort with a long stretch of golden sand, mud flats, and a lively town offering an aquarium, museums, theaters, and amusements on the grand pier. Throughout the year, the beach hosts various events like Pro Nationals, Weston Beach Dash, Air Festival, music festivals such as T4 On The Beach and South-West Live.
I went there on a Sunny day in Sept. It is one of my favourite sand beaches. Clean and beautiful, close to Bristol. You have plenty of car parking spots. Amazing food shops around. Great for a day trip with family and friends.
Anjana A — Google review
A nice sandy beach, although when the tide goes out past a certain point it becomes a mud flap and not inviting to paddle in. At near high tide it is much more a proper beach. Seafront is well maintained and generally things feel on the up so the walk along the front is very pleasant and a good place for sunsets.
Kevin K — Google review
This beach is not dog friendly, the parking is a rip off in season. The parking is £14 for the day which is very expensive and it is very hard to get parked. The only good side to this are is that the promenade is clean and there is a clear path with loads of seating. It is very wheelchair accessible but not to the sand itself. It is pretty clean in terms of rubbish but the water quality was so poor they wouldn't let you go in the water because of sewage discharge. Is it regularly like this so check before you travel.
Henry L — Google review
One of my favourite place to visit, very clean, nice sandy beach, fantastic day out for the family coming back next week.
Robert P — Google review
As my partner predicted, it turned out to be the last warm day of 2025 — perfect timing for a trip to Weston-super-Mare beach. Just a short drive from Bristol, it offered everything we hoped for: a relaxing walk along the sand, a bit of sunshine, coffee and ice cream by the sea. The tide was out, but that only made the beach feel even wider and calmer. We sat for a while, breathing in the salty, iodine-rich air and watching the light change over the bay — simple, peaceful, and exactly what we needed.
Yarys — Google review
Love Weston super mare normally go in Off Season because the B&Bs and hotels are cheap we always go to the Lauriston Hotel It's a dog friendly hotel but is actually a signed for people who need assisted dogs but obviously families can go and take there dogs Or if you don't want to go in one of the hotels you can get self-catering accommodation quite cheap Out of Season expensive and hard to get in season need to book about a year in advance
Matt G — Google review
We stopped by briefly on our way home and arrived at 5pm. The beach was empty, and there was plenty of parking. The only issue was that parking was expensive, at £7 for the one hour we stayed; parking should be done hourly. We didn't use any facilities, as they were all closed when we arrived. It was a fantastic time spent with my youngest, with good weather and warm seas.
Paul B — Google review
What a big change, pier now £2 to go on, why? They make a lot of money from visitors going on there. They close at 4.30pm what? Dont bother visiting, this once was a nice place to visit, even the girl locking the pier gates can't understand English. Waste of time going, M5 bumper to bumper 20 mph for almost 45 minutes, ill never go sgain, just like great Yarmouth, this place is falling apart and prices are way over the top

Nestled in the picturesque Somerset countryside, just a stone's throw from Weston-super-Mare, Puxton Park is an all-weather adventure haven that spans 40 acres of fun and excitement. Open nearly every day of the year, this family-friendly destination offers a plethora of activities to keep visitors entertained regardless of the weather. From adrenaline-pumping playgrounds and challenging assault courses to tranquil boat rides on the lake, there's something for everyone at Puxton Park.
I remember taking my older children here some years ago and then enjoying it. Return today with my youngest and she absolutely loved it. The whole Park feels very fresh and clean and there are lots more attractions than I remember. The soft play and slides are very well maintained And thoroughly enjoyed by all the children. The farm zoo has lots of animals and you can buy feed for them. We went on the train ride and tractor ride both included in the price. I was particularly impressed with the crazy golf. The sculptures of the octopus and whale were very impressive and you could see a lot of love had gone into creating this attraction. We had a late lunch in the restaurant which was very tasty and good value. The farm shop is well stocked and has a lovely butchers. It would definitely come again.
Paul G — Google review
Considering it was a bank holiday and half term, we found our experience rather disappointing and dull. No staff on the crazy golf, look like they have built a new one but that was locked off and the old one, well, no staff, no balls and rather tatty. The coffee at the soft play restaurant was like dishwater. The kids enjoyed the soft play, bumper boats, and the bouncing pillows, which, to be honest, a long way to travel and costly just for that. boating lake open, either. Animal talk was very good. Got to see a touch a boa constrictor, a lizard, and a mouse like creature. The animal handling staff were very knowledgeable and interacted with the children well. The farm shop was amazing. We got there at 1130 and were out of options by 1500. Ended up back in soft play, which, to be honest, could have done that locally. A lot of money for what it is. I had a sandwich, which was £3.50 and a children's meal was about £6. Will not be going again, sadly. Park needs some TLC in places. Staff were very helpful and friendly 🙂
Sammyg X — Google review
Puxton Park is an absolutely fantastic place for a day out and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived the atmosphere was welcoming and exciting. The car park is huge and completely free which makes things so much easier and stress free. Once inside there is so much to do for all ages. My personal favourite was the water bumper ride which had me laughing and getting soaked in the best way possible. I could have stayed on it all afternoon. I also loved feeding the animals. They are clearly well cared for and very friendly. There are goats alpacas sheep and many more and you can get up close which is such a fun experience. The indoor play area is massive and full of activities to keep children entertained for hours. Outside there are brilliant adventure playgrounds climbing frames and open spaces to run around. The tractor rides and the little train are perfect for taking a break while still enjoying the park. There is also a lovely café that serves tasty and reasonably priced food and drinks which is perfect for a pit stop. Everywhere is clean and well looked after and the staff are friendly and helpful. Puxton Park is one of those places where time flies because there is so much to see and do. Whether you are visiting with family friends or just want a fun day surrounded by animals and activities it is worth every penny. I am already looking forward to going back and enjoying it all over again.
Ayyub C — Google review
Absolutely fantastic. Paid one entry free which was less than other parks around, paid £45 for a family of 4 (I had a blue light discount), and it was worth every penny. There are so many attractions that are included, didn’t pay a penny for anything besides an ice cream. There’s paddle boats, train, high ropes (and smaller one for littler children), and huge soft play, and lots more too. We spent the whole day interacting with animals and playing. It was clean and well looked after, staff were pleasant and friendly and animals seemed happy and well looked after. Absolutely brilliant, will be returning soon.
Abi B — Google review
Great amusements, combined with animals, a small indoor zoo, a mini train, a mini Jeep ride, a massive play barn for all child ages, a cafe, restaurant, shop, picnic areas, a hedge maze, playgrounds including a giant bouncy pillow thing, boats, high rope activity, friendly staff, family safe environment. WiFi is available free of charge but limited phone signal. I particularly liked the new crazy golf, amazingly creative and attractively done. Really good job everyone!!! (So much there that I've probably forgotten something!)
E P — Google review
Brilliant place to visit with family of all ages. I went with a group of 14 and all ages really enjoyed it, the train ride, park and the soft play area were really good. Different selection of animals to see and for £1 you can get a bag of animal feed to feed some of the animals with, an interesting and ticklish experience for some of the kids! :) We also purchased some fresh milk and also chocolate flavoured which was very tasty!
R A — Google review
Fantastic day out, I came with my 4 and 5 year olds and they were kept well entertained for 7 hours. They loved feeding the animals, enjoyed the interactive animal shows in the barn. I feel that the place offers great value for money. Only thing I would add is some seating area around the air bouncers, it gets very busy there and people tend to sit on the grass, would be nice to have benches etc and maybe a picnic area there. This was my second visit and should we return to the Weston area will definitely be visiting again.
Michael C — Google review
A Fantastic Day Out for All Ages! We had such an amazing time at Puxton Park! We went with a group of adults and kids, and there was so much to do that everyone was entertained. It's not just a park for the little ones; the adults had just as much fun getting involved in all the activities. Slided can give you adrenaline too. Outdoor Splash games are nice as well. From the moment we arrived, the kids were off on an adventure. The range of things to do is incredible—the massive indoor play barn, the high ropes course, and the pedal go-karts were huge hits. There’s a real sense of adventure throughout the whole park, and we loved that it got the kids running around and trying new things. The little farm was amazing, there are more cute, animals 🦜 our favourite was the Amazon parrot wich was imitating a crying baby calling her mom , so cute. We have bought a fresh Tbone steak from farm shop at the exit, it was amazing 🥩 there's also fresh cow milk from the machines and a small souvenir shop I can't recommend Puxton Park enough. It’s a perfect mix of thrilling activities, animal encounters, and just good old-fashioned fun. We'll definitely be back soon!

Park
Nestled along the stunning seafront of Weston-super-Mare, the Water Adventure Play Park is a delightful outdoor haven for children seeking fun and excitement. This vibrant play area features an impressive wooden structure alongside an interactive aquatic playground filled with fountains, sprays, and jets that activate with sensors. Perfect for those hot summer days, this park offers a safe environment where kids can splash around to their heart's content without the worry of deep water.
Such good value you can't go wrong! My daughter loves it it does get busy in the holidays. Cafe in site too which is handy and toilets also. The play area is good if your little one wants a break from the water park bit. It's close to the beach and you pay once and can come in and out all day.

What a beautiful playground right in front of the beautiful Weston beach-promenade. My son had a lot of fun, great green area with amazing equipment; there is also a waterpark. Perfect👌💙
Rico B — Google review
This has been on my list to go to for quite some time, and it did not disappoint! We didn't actually stay very long because the weather was dull, my daughter had a cold and after getting wet we wanted to get her warm. However, I can't wait to go back on a sunny day. The staff were amazing, they actually let us in for free (due to the weather), whereas it's £3 for all day per child usually. We offered to pay upon leaving too but they just said they were glad we had a good time and not to worry about it! What lovely people!! The park itself is great and is split into what I would say is 3 sections, with ample grassy spaces in between. There's a smaller children's area with swings, a slide, etc. Then there's an older children's area at the back (we didn't get a chance to venture over that far), and lastly, the water park section. The water was so much fun. I'd say the temperature of the water was tepid- definitely not as cold as I expected it to be. The ground was colourful and a great fun experience for myself and my daughter. I couldn't wait to get stuck in as an adult! There's an ice cream hut and a small cafe. We got some hot chocolate when we were there which was tasty. I can imagine it's very popular in the summer. It has a great location; right opposite the sea front, and with Melrose Car Park right next door.

Fantastic place to take your children on a sunny day! Little water park and two play areas for children of different ages, changing rooms and toilets
Kayleigh H — Google review
£3 per child, come and go all day, nice little water park with a lot of other play apparatus also. Kids really enjoyed themselves. Nice little cafe attached to the side, lovely hot chocolate. Woudl return if in Weston again
Michael C — Google review
For £3 per child it's a bargain. Free entry for adults too. Pay and display carpark right next door and located opposite the beach. Security constantly monitored on entry with separate exit. There is a friendly onsite cafe who offered the best custome service. Families can camp out with picnic blankets and camp chairs whilst kids play across the varied aged playgrounds. However, long queues for the only two toilets and half of the changing facilities were closed. I do hope this is resolved. Overall good and do recommend. Thank you to the owners and organisers.
Kel ! — Google review
updated review. Went there today 14/9/24. free for September which was great most things actually on and working ( except the castle) kids had a ball. I think 3 pound entry is a little steep and its about average for a mocha at £3.50. old review. Great in the summer pretty mundane on a cold day lol kids were done in 20mins.
Jake W — Google review
I popped here with my 4yo girls to take advantage of a rare sunny afternoon. The girls were thoroughly entertained for 2.5hours and could have lasted longer if I’d let them! The new double zip line was a hit, as was the splash pad but I think they enjoyed the general sense of freedom I was able to allow them in a safe enclosed environment. (although the park was very quiet when we visited) The staff were really welcoming and friendly. They even encouraged me to bring a picnic or fish and chips next time to make a real day of it - such a good idea! At £3 per child (adults free) to come and go as you please all day I think it’s an absolute steal! Top tip: wear a wetsuit and water shoes so kids can easily swap between play park and splash park. Also if there’s a wind it can be a bit chilly in the water!

We went on a rainy day during our holiday. It is brilliant value for money and we learned so much. We even found a helicopter that had been built near our house. The staff were friendly and happy. Even our toddler loved it, especially getting to sit in a real helicopter.

Had a great day out at the Museum, reasonably priced, especially as we can return free for a year (excluding some special events) Lots of things to see with knowledgeable volunteers to make the experience even better. We ate at the museum, we had a bacon bap, with loads of bacon. A cheese and tomato toasties with lots of cheese (it was oozing out the sides) 😋 Tea and coffee in decent sized mugs. Very reasonably priced. The toilets were clean and modern. We could only stay for 4hrs, so we are coming back 😁

I thourly enjoyed the visit . I couldn't believe there was that many helicopters displayed in the warehouse,For a child's point of view other than looking at the helicopter and a small air themed play area out side I thought they would have had some helicopters that you could have got inside/ played in making the experience even better.
Andrew C — Google review
pretty good visit, for someone with more interest and willing to read everything about all the helicopters you could have a good half day out for good price and free return for almost a every day of the year, that makes it absolutely amazing value for someone that enjoys it and would like to return again and again for free for a year.

Some interesting exhibits presented really well. Needs something else after viewing the helicopters to make it more interesting such as a digital film or a talk by a former pilot etc. How about a tour guide?

Had a great time at museum. Plenty to see staff brilliant and informative. Cafe and toilets on site as well as playground area for kids.

It was a truly insightful experience to see a helicopter up close. A highlight for me was getting to go inside a Russian Mi combat helicopter, a dream come true. I've been fascinated by Mi helicopters ever since I saw one in the movie Rambo. I also saw many impressive helicopters manufactured by Westland, including one that could carry up to 21 passengers. Seeing so many of these massive engineering marvels made me wonder: why did Westland stop making them?

Birnbeck Pier in Weston-super-Mare has been closed and abandoned since 1994, making it an unusual sight for visitors. Despite its state of disrepair, the Grade 2 listed pier still attracts attention due to its historical significance and picturesque setting. Although public access is prohibited for safety reasons, the pier's unique architecture and scenic views make it a popular spot for photography enthusiasts.
You can't go on the pier, but it is interesting to look at as you can still the facilities that were on the pier when it was open.

I remember going on this pier as a child so it always brings back memories coming to see it again. It's fantastic that they are finally renovating it with an opening date of 2028 I believe. They have a little information centre on site and people to give you information on what's happening. Can't wait to be able to walk along it again soon!
Lesley E — Google review
I've given this place a high rating even though it's not open and is a restoration project. If you like history , especially the enigmatic history of Victorian seaside towns then you'll enjoy the little visitor centre (lovely staff) and the views of the abandoned pier. This really is a place worth supporting imo

Remember going on this as a child. Be interesting to see it , after the restoration which they are on with. Will look great when restored.

A lovely old Pier that is Grade 2 listed which has been allowed to get into a right old state. By all accounts, it's going to be saved. You can't go on or near it due obviously to it's state, but still worth a picture or 3
David S — Google review
Was gutted! Turned up buzzing to play the arcades, grab a 99, maybe lose a quid in a 2p machine… only to find the pier’s shut, derelict, and one seagull away from collapse. Crushed.

I live in Weston super mare and it's a shame to see this pier going into the sea slowly, pretty sure nobody is backing the donations, just get rid of the eye soar, although I hear the RNLI are getting it back which would be great!

Brean Beach is a popular destination for families and dog walkers, featuring a long 7-mile stretch of golden sand along the North Somerset coast. At low tide, vast mud flats are exposed, providing plenty of space to explore but caution is advised due to sinking in the mudflats. The beach offers a nice public area for dogs to run around and provides a pleasant stroll for visitors. While it may get windy at times, there are soft and sheltered parts near the cliffs to the north.
Really great experience A small hike with few stairs and some hiking. The view and the wind was amazing. And a wonderful treat at last, with a kind of new castle. A mix of beach and mountains view

Need I say more, honestly such an underrated beach in England. Defo recommend going here so nice and peaceful and not so busy even during the summer, funfairs and leisure park close by to the beach, parking is easily found with payment for the whole day. Very family and pet friendly and I would defo recommend the hike up to the top of the hills to really get those scenic views.

Amazing location for a dog walk, great long beach and then a nice hill to climb to and walk down to see a historical base and take in some history. Bring good walking shoes as there is a lot of walking and a bit of an uneven path and a lot of stairs but definitely worth it for the views. The dogs will love it.

Fantastic beach with quite a bit of parking available - bear in mind parking is cash only! The beach itself is lovely and sandy! Perfect for sandcastles and little kids. The beach was clean and not overly crowded at all! There is a little cafe selling hot food and ice creams just off the beach. Really nice day out
Naomi P — Google review
The only issue was the parking app would only charge us £12 instead of the day rate at the machines of £6. Having to bring cash seems daft in this day and age. However, we spent the whole day there. Everyone enjoyed the walk to the fort and back. The cafe was excellent with some lovely pasties.

First time attending a performance at this theatre. Spotlessly clean. …. in the auditorium and the toilets. Helpful staff who were polite and extremely respectful. Please be aware mandatory bag searches are in place at point of entry. Bar on upper level and a smaller refreshment sales on the ground floor.disability access throughout..escorted lift to access the upper floor. Disabled toilets available. The seats were unexpectedly comfortable in the auditorium!!! To be honest we attended during one of the recent heatwaves and it was indeed extremely hot in the stalls where we were seated - air con may have been in place, however, had little impact on the heat (the heat was unprecedented so perhaps it couldn’t cope!) refreshments varied and reasonably priced. Parking was a little challenging.

This is a very good facility in the Town. It is of a suitable size and bring in a tourist town has a very good variety of shows both in the peak season and throughout the rest of the year. The theatre is accessible to wheelchairs with a lift the appropriate floor and a limited amount of wheelchair spaces. What is strange is the fact the theatre offers a disabled discount on the allocated enabled spaces only. The staff are very accommodating and helpful.

Miniature golf course
If you're looking for a fun family outing in Weston-Super-Mare, look no further than Pirate Adventureland! This exciting destination features an 18-hole mini-golf course that immerses players in a swashbuckling pirate theme. Perfectly situated just off the promenade at Oxford Street, it offers not only challenging golf holes but also a high ropes course with 16 thrilling obstacles to navigate.
Fun little 18 hole adventure golf course, just on the beach front. We paid £22 for a family ticket and spent about an hour there. It's well packed in so if there's a wait for the next hole, there's not much room to wait. Overall, we all had fun and would recommend.
Shellie P — Google review
Pirate Adventure Golf looks great and they have some fun looking scenery, but sadly the golfing holes themselves were rather underwhelming. All the holes were mostly just grass with hills. The couple that had extra elements like mini bridges, added nothing, you could very easily put around them. There were no interactive elements. Overall, it's not too badly priced at £7.50 a ticket, but It was underwhelming and we wouldn't go there again.
L W — Google review
Its a really good little course with some tricky holes. There is some much needed shade an what can be a very desert like sea front. The course is well themed and well cared for. Its fairly reasonably priced as well. All in all it was an enjoyable place to spend half an hour or so.

My family went on this ride whilst I stayed in the ground to take photos. However they were held for quite a long time at the top as the door fell off one of the other pods. One of the operators took some while enlisting the help of the visitors inside the pod. This did not fill me with confidence for what the rest of the maintenance of the wheel was!!!

Miniature golf course
Revo Glo Golf is an exciting addition to Weston-super-Mare, transforming the former Seaquarium into a vibrant indoor mini-golf experience. Nestled near The Grand Pier, this UV-themed 9-hole course offers a unique adventure for families and couples alike. As you navigate through the glow-in-the-dark landscape, you'll be captivated by the immersive atmosphere created by stunning artwork and props that light up under UV lights.
We were lucky to have stumbled across this golf course that is not very advertised, it is absolutely a hidden gem truth be told! The glow in the dark colours of blue and green present through really lured us into the course, appreciated how the patterns appear on the walls too like on the graveyard and arcade themed holes. The course incorporates these and a wide range of themes on the holes even a pinball machine at the end, prices were solid and I would watch out Weston this is a sleeper attraction soon to gain steam!
K. P — Google review
Situated roughly half way along the Weston-super-Mare sea front, in what used to be the old Aquarium, Revo glo golf is alright for a little family friendly fun. As you enter the main building, the glo golf is to the left. Ahead is a sizeable restaurant but we didn't visit this time round. As you walk in, the bar is right ahead. The golf holes are lit up around you and the atmosphere begins to grow on you. I took family and friends, and as a group of 10, we had enough room and time to play. There are 9 holes. Really well presented and well thought out course. Some of the holes had moving parts and featured mechanical parts to make your round quite an enjoyable challenge. Unfortunately hole 8, one of the more mechanical holes was broken. It would have been nice to see it working as the kids were disappointed. The bar offered a small, but ample range of refreshments and there wasn't really any wait time either. Staff were polite enough too.

Nice cafe set on two levels with plenty of indoor seating. I didn’t have a booking but there was no problem accommodating me. Regularly changing menu, only feedback I would have is it’s a little limited on choice and every option involved a bread product this week which may not suit everyone. I went with the pesto mushrooms on sourdough, my goodness this was so mouthwateringly delicious! Decent sized portion, felt it was good value. Cold, hot and alcoholic drinks on offer. Accepts cards. Step free entrance to ground floor area and toilets also on this level. Dog friendly cafe. Staff friendly and welcoming. Loved the maps decorating the walls. Only open in the evening for special events.

I honestly don't have a complaint in the world about this cafe, I've been several times now and it ticks every box. My non-vegan mother usually avoids non-dairy milk in favour of black coffee if there is no cow's milk option, but she says that the cappuccino here is the best she's ever had (vegan or otherwise!). The food is well portioned, very fairly priced and high quality. The venue itself often hosts events, which is evident in the ambiance. It's somewhat low-light and cozy, but could easily become a punk venue if it needed to be. There's not much like it in Weston, so it's a wonderful escape for those who don't generally fit into the area (though of course anyone would enjoy it). I'm glad to have a cafe like this in my area and can't wait for the next time!

Uphill Beach in Weston-super-Mare is my favorite local secret! This tranquil stretch of beach is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, offering a peaceful and picturesque spot to relax and unwind. The beach has a natural charm, with stunning views of the sea, sand dunes, Brean Down and surrounding countryside. It’s the ideal place for a quiet stroll, a picnic, or simply to sit and enjoy the serenity. Whether you’re walking along the shoreline or exploring the nearby Uphill Marina, the atmosphere here is calm and inviting. What makes Uphill Beach even more special is how quiet it is compared to the busier parts of Weston-super-Mare. It feels like a hidden gem that’s just waiting to be discovered. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big bonus if you’re looking to enjoy some time outdoors with your four-legged friends. For those who love nature and tranquility, Uphill Beach is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place that locals treasure, and once you experience its charm, you’ll see why. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the sea.

I love Uphill Beach. I grew up in the village, and although I don't live there now, it's still home to me. So why 4 stars, not 5, you might ask? Quite simply that the council's management of rhe area has gone downhill in recent years - the beach should be 5* without question, but the behaviour of the council is nothing but idiotic at time, particularly over the parking (roadside for when beach is shut) and poor use of signposts both on the road and the beach and lack of proper distribution of bins since Covid lock downs ended - they don't spread them out properly anymore as they can't be bothered to empty them and move them for high tides. This leads to tourists leaving little (if they can't see a bin, they often won't bother loomibg for them.

If you're seeking a delightful indoor escape for your little ones in Weston-super-Mare, look no further than Little Town Adventures! This enchanting miniature town is designed specifically for children aged one to ten, offering an immersive experience where they can explore various themed areas like the fire station, supermarket, and even a cinema. Spanning two floors of fun-filled activities, this vibrant space allows kids to unleash their creativity as they role-play in different settings.
Little Town Adventure is brilliant! It's a small replica town where children can explore and play in various themed areas like the town hall, fire station, hair salon, supermarket, cinema, vet, police station, and even an ice cream van. My kids had a wonderful time, and it was fantastic to see their imaginations run wild as they took on different roles in the mini-town. The staff were truly wonderful with the children, providing the perfect balance between engaging with them and allowing them the freedom to play on their own terms. Special shoutout to Ruby, who was a terrific singer and amazing with the kids. She really added a special touch to the visit. We will definitely be back soon! We visited this morning for the first time and it was brilliant! My 6 year old daughter absolutely loved it. The show was great (deputy mayor was brilliant and so good with all the children!). The other staff were also very friendly and seemed to love their jobs! Little Town has been set up with a lot of thought and it all looks fantastic! There was so much to do, including little challenges for all the children every 10-15 mins. We went to the 9.30 session and it was lovely and quiet. Whats more, they serve delicious coffee!! We will definitely be back again soon! Can't wait to take my 3 year old as she will also love it there!

This place is great for toddlers/kids! I've taken my 2 year old for the first time today and she has had so much fun. She wasn't that bothered about the story part but I think that's down to the fact she is two and many of the slightly older kids were really involved with the story. However a lot of the toys are toddler height so if you have older children, they may have to bend down for some of the toys. There two floors of fun and so many toys. Definitely worth the money in my opinion!

We had a great session this morning! My little one loved the songs Cathy (the deputy mayor) sang and enjoyed joining in. The town looked amazing, she enjoyed exploring it and pretending to be the different characters. The beach scene was definitely the favourite. And we were even able to have a quick lunch after.

We went this morning and we had a fantastic time. My 6 year old really enjoyed himself and with two levels of different stuff to do it was great. All the staff were great too! The only thing which wasn't safe were the stairs going up to the town hall, they are awful narrow and the steps just about fit a child's foot on and you could easily fall which isn't good. Someone actually did slip whilst I was there and they were holding there child. Other than that, everything was great even the coffee!

Fortress
Brean Down Fort, located at the end of a 318-ft.-high peninsula, was constructed as a defense against potential Napoleonic invasion. Situated in the Mendip Hills, it offers stunning views across the Bristol Channel and is easily accessible from Weston Super Mare. The area is perfect for a weekend exploration, with its proximity to Bristol and Bath making it an ideal destination. Visitors can enjoy picnics while taking in incredible views and exploring the old fort's buildings.
We had a fantastic time exploring Brean Down Fort. While the fort itself is free, we paid for parking, which was a small price for the incredible experience. The walk from the car park to the fort took us about a mile along the headland, and the views of the Bristol Channel and the Somerset coast were absolutely breathtaking. The fort has multiple buildings and information signs that do a great job of explaining the history of the site.
Andrew S — Google review
There is 2 walking options, both the same distance. One is "accessible" and the company offers mobility scooters. The other is a harder, up and down path with uneven and varying terrain. The fort itself has numerous buildings, and picture boards to demonstrate / explain different parts and buildings. Would recommend
Davies F — Google review
Brean Down is honestly one of those places you can wander around and just lose track of time. The first thing that hits you is the scenery. Standing up on the fort, you get this sweeping view of the coastline and the Bristol Channel. The grass, the cliffs, the water all blend together and it is just stunning. You can spend hours walking around, taking in the sights, and just feeling completely away from it all. The history of Brean Down Fort is really fascinating and adds a whole other layer to the visit. The fort itself was built in the 1860s as part of a chain of coastal defenses to protect the Bristol Channel from potential French attacks. The site has been used for centuries though. There are remnants of Bronze Age and Roman settlements, showing that people have recognised its strategic importance for thousands of years. During the First World War, the fort was used as a lookout point, and by the Second World War it had been updated with anti-aircraft guns and concrete observation posts to defend against German attacks. You can still see the old gun emplacements and concrete structures that tell the story of its military past. On the Down itself, you can spot old markings and large directional arrows that guided planes during the Second World War, which is a really cool detail to see up close. Walking around, you get this sense of how people used to live and work here, the effort it must have taken to build and defend this spot. The paths are easy to follow and the whole place has this raw, natural beauty mixed with a sense of history that makes it feel alive. Whether you are into history or just love amazing views, Brean Down has a bit of everything. You can easily spend a whole day exploring, snapping photos, or just sitting and soaking it all in.

Really beautiful walk out to the old fort area. Really clean, sometimes cattle are grazing. Steps or little road (quite steep) makes this accessible even to mobility scooters and bikes. You can hire both at the carpark.
Katherine S — Google review
Impressive views from this old Napoleonic era fort which is free to visit. Good signage that explains the various buildings and how the fort would have operated. It's a steep walk (stairs are the shorter but steeper journey or a path for a slightly longer but less steep walk) up to the top. Dog friendly but need to keep on a lead as sheer drops in some places plus cows grazing freely.
Kate L — Google review
Great place to visit. Car park is well run and @£6 for all day in my opinion is good value. You will need a good few hours to do the downs and forth. Great views and a great couple of cafes to boot. The beach is great.
David H — Google review
Lovely area for a walk & well worth the effort. The direct route to the top via stairs up (and down) are a fair workout, the path slightly less so. The views on a clear day are fantastic, and the old fort provides some nooks & crannies to investigate. Parking fees are like the stairs - steep - but they are primarily catching the beach goers, and the toilets are adjacent to the car parks & cafe.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Weston-super-Mare, Hutton Moor Leisure Centre is a fitness enthusiast's dream come true. This modern facility boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a 25-meter swimming pool perfect for competitions and galas, as well as spacious training and dance studios. Whether you're looking to break a sweat in group classes or enjoy some friendly competition on the tennis or squash courts, this leisure centre has it all.
Good venue to host an event - spacious and well laid out. It’s a solid sports hall overall, with what looked like a decent gym and an activity area for kids. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again.
Benny G — Google review
Great! Lovely twin pools, only negatives really are, timetables, and open swimming, restricted, with mixed lane swimming and families, at times...toddler pool, limited time also ..so that is the only reason for not giving a 5 *
Teresa G — Google review
Really like the gym, with everything a casual or more experienced user would need, and the pool has a well organised booking and lane system. I haven’t tried classes but they are recommended by friends.
Catherine J — Google review
This was my leisure centre growing up in Weston-super-Mare. I’ve moved away from Weston and now live on the outskirts of Bromley. I’ve just returned from taking my 17 month old toddler for her first ever swim and I was so so shocked by the small size, poor quality facilities and lack of options available near me that I was genuinely moved to post this. Hutton Moor is an absolute rare gem. I had no idea how good I had it. It really is an incredible asset and set of facilities. Pool size, baby pool option, changing facilities alone make this place stand out to what people elsewhere have. Never stop fighting to keep this centre and keep it what it is.

Great gym .friendly staff and no pressure to join . I used the free 3 day pass to see if I liked it and I'm now a full member

Visited for a swimming gala. Despite how busy it was (hundreds of people), it felt well organised and easy enough to navigate. The overall centre felt clean and well maintained.
R B — Google review
The pool is good for competitions / galas with plenty of space for spectators and competitors. The cafe is good, with a decent range and food is available a lot of the time. A special mention for for the young lady who served me in the cafe, she was polite and helpful. Beat of all when I spilled my chips and sauce as I went to put them in the bin she told me it was not a problem, told me not to worry about clearing it up, she would do it and to blame her! What a lovely attitude.

Sand Bay Beach is a remote and picturesque stretch of sand and shingle located to the north of Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset. The beach is surrounded by grass-covered sand dunes and offers various amenities such as parking, cafes, toilets, and nearby holiday parks. Visitors can enjoy stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Wales, Flat Holm, The Old Pier, and Sand Point. It's a great spot for beachcombing due to the interesting objects washed ashore by the tide.
We're so lucky this is on our doorstep. You can't go wrong it's perfect for everyone. How can you not love an evening stroll like this?
Steve M — Google review
Lovely place for a walk. Big, open, sandy beach with woods to the left and right. Lots of people come here to walk their dogs. Multiple car parks right behind the beach, but none of them are free. No food places.
Tanki123 — Google review
Be aware, there's no strict access to the water (muddy dangerous surface). Mainly used as dog walks but still you can smell nice bryze and excellent view.
A G — Google review
Honestly disappointed. Drove for hours expecting a nice beach day, but when we arrived, the tide was so far out that there was barely any sea in sight just endless muddy sand and no real water to enjoy. The beach looked empty and nothing like the pictures. No clear info about the tide times, which would’ve helped avoid the trip. If you're planning to swim or relax by the sea, check the tide first * otherwise, you might just find a giant desert instead of a beach like i did!
PAOLA P — Google review
Great beach for dog walkers with a long stretch of sand that goes on for miles. The tide can go out a long way so whether they get wet paws is down to the time you arrive. Parking is easy at the Sand Road (Bus Terminus) car park, which also has loos available, useful as there is not really much else within walking distance.
John M — Google review
It's a beautiful and huge beach with stunning views. Dog friendly. Really relaxing. Lovely walks up on the headlands. Not suitable for swimming. Sinking sand is a danger so please read the signs Parking is tricky which impacts accessibility for disabled. It was impossible for me to get to the pillbox unfortunately. The national trust parking place is only by app and a nightmare. Everyone was struggling Local loos are revolting and you have to have change to use as chargeable which is a nightmare.
Elizabeth W — Google review
Quiet, dog-friendly beach hidden away around the back of Weston. Relaxing and chilled - but there isn't an enormous amount here - across the 1.5-mile stretch of the beach there's a hotel/restaurant combo, a single fish & chip shop & general store, a tea room, and a small convenience hut at the main car park. The parking situation has been significantly improved in recent years. A bus to & from Weston/Brean also services the beach, from the same car park. Slightly in-land, a few minutes' walk, you can find a local pub and another shop, and The New Castle restaurant. There's a range of holiday parks, but they're generally all for residents only. The beach itself is beautiful and oft-forgotten, though. At the height of summer it can be used as a normal beach, but it is primarily used for dog walking and horse riding. It's windy in the colder months, but beautiful all-year round. The northern end of the beach is overgrown with grass. The entire beach is two-tiered as a tidal defense. The tide is huge; you'll only see the sea up-close for an hour or so a day. But if you check the tide times, you can catch it. It is not particularly safe to go out onto the mud flats to 'chase' the water.
Alexander D — Google review
Decent for the kids and the dog, you can also have BBQ’s and they provide a bin for them. It is a bit messy, but it is only a small one and dogs are let on it. Toilets cost 30p to use near the bus station and only one of them accepts card and the door doesn’t lock.

Children's amusement center
Jump N Jackz Children's Play Centre in Weston is the ultimate indoor playground for kids. It boasts a 50ft jungle play frame, bouncy castles, high drop slides, and a large ball pit. There's even a designated soft play area for babies and toddlers. Parents can relax in the coffee lounge while their little ones have a blast. The tiger stripe slide offers an exhilarating experience, and there's no time limit on play, so it's worth the cost.
Best soft play we've been to. Great for all ages, loads of variety including bouncy castle, loads of slides, huge ball pit plus loads of space to run around. Tables etc are nicely spaced out.
Mars21 — Google review
Apologies for the 3 as this did appear to be a clean large safeish environment for our 2 year old. Rating based on how cold it was and the rules around no parents on the larger play areas which was 60 - 70% of the available equipment. This left us with a small amount of areas to use for the full cost of £11 and as so cold we left within 30 minutes. Would consider coming back when our child is older 5 plus and in summer. I can imagine this would be great for older children in warmer weather
Edward L — Google review
Great soft play! Visited for the first time with 3 little ones. The children enjoyed themselves and there was plenty for them to do. We visited on a Saturday and it was busy but not rammed. For the price you can visit for up to 3 hours, which was good as it is a little bit more expensive than other soft plays i have been to. Toilets were clean. There is a cafe to get food and drinks. Tabled were cleaned regularly. The soft play seemed clean and it was well kept, not many broken or ripped items. I would visit again. The heaters were on where the tables were, but when you move away from them it can be quite cold. Also, I found the soft play floor to be quite slippery. No adults are allowed on any soft play, so bear that in mind if you have little ones who are a bit small or nervous.
Gemma — Google review
We love it here, prices are great, little cafe for food and drinks, nice area for babies to play and make new friends! Other sections for older children too aswell as a massive ball pit and they host parties! It does get a little cold in there sometimes but apart from that it's a great place for children
Kayleigh H — Google review
Took the kids here and it was absolutely freezing. Too cold for the little ones and babies. No hot water on in the bathrooms to wash hands and toilets were clearly not regularly cleaned. Food was overpriced and they didn't give good portions even for children. Much prefer kidzville as the food is nicer, it is is cleaner and warmer and they don't seem to be skimping on things to maximise profits. Wouldn't recommend and would not choose to go here with the children again.
Rosie A — Google review
We absolutely love it here, a fantastic play area for the kids. my older daughter is 7 and the youngest is 18 months. Food is always Great, service too. We love it
Laura H — Google review
The tiger stripe slide is very fast you actually get a little air time as you go over the bump. Generally the kids enjoyed it. They spent quite some time in the large ball pool. Years ago when they opened it was just a large selection of indoor bouncy castles but now it is a large softplay. I did feel at first it was a little expensive however there didn't seem to be a time limit so if you have the patience to stay in a kids play centre you can get your moneys worth. There are signs everywhere saying adults not to use the play equipment followed by you must watch your children which seemed difficult if you couldn't follow them however no one complained when I did. If the weather is poor I would consider going again but wouldn't rush there.

Each session lasts around 20 minutes, immersing you in an action-packed experience where strategy and agility are key—just remember to keep an eye out for enemy fire! But the excitement doesn't stop there!
Really good fun! Went here yesterday to try the place out before bringing a larger group and couldn't recommend it enough. Love the painted murals and entrance ways. Sign posts inside to the right spots are excellent. Whole theme of the place is great. Staff were excellent and welcoming. Process was really slick to check in and play. Food and drink is reasonable. Love the name picking options. And most importantly the arena itself to play in is really well thought out, not over dark, and a great scenery selection. An absolutely blast will be back for sure.

Recently had a birthday party with 13 children at Laser Quest in Weston & I had to take the time to write a review & say how pleased & happy we were with the whole set up. All the kids had a blast & the staff were so nice! I called up & spoke to staff over the phone before booking & they answered all my questions brilliantly & gave me all the info I needed in advance of coming. Then we went ahead & booked the whole party online via their website & we were prompted to arrive 15 mins early. When we arrived on the day, the building really stood out & was easy to find, inside was decorated really cool perfect for older kids party!! We were greeted by staff & immediately were helped by two staff members & they went through everything with me (the organiser) & explained where parents can sit & watch the laser tag games on the TV screens. The children got to pick their own funny names for the 2 games of laser tag. Then all the children got a full safety briefing & were shown how to play, so even the kids that had never played laser tag before were confident on how to play. The kids were given a break in between each game & drinks given out (water & squash). Afterwards we had a party room all to ourselves where a female staff member called Mikayla was absolutely amazing & brought all the pizzas prepared straight away, at the perfect time, as soon as the kids sat down, she handed out game score cards to each child & honestly couldn’t do enough to help us make the party so special & she even tidied up afterwards. Party went perfect, no stress for parents at all! Would 100% come again for regular game play or plan a party here again. Big thanks again to all the staff 👍😀

The Weston Sand Sculpture Festival is a spectacular annual event that transforms the beach of Weston-super-Mare into a stunning gallery of sand art. Each year, talented sculptors from around the world gather to create over 30 intricate sculptures using just sand and water, showcasing their skills in a friendly competition where visitors can vote for their favorites. With new themes introduced annually, this festival has become a beloved highlight on Somerset's cultural calendar, attracting more than 5 million visitors each year.
Staff were really friendly and polite a refreshing change to some of the places I've been. The sculptures were absolutely amazing! The little competition for the best sculpture was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed having a voice and it really got them interested and feeling important enough to have an opinion that matter. (Some.kids may not have that in their young life) there is a small container with a video on how the sculptures were made but we couldn't stay in there for long as the temperature in there was breath taking. Over all a great experience for the kids, not massive and probably a little over priced for what you see and the very short time round but certainly worth the money with regards to a different talking point and experience for the kids. Thank you to all involved, especially the staff at the counter

What an unexpected display , we went in out of curiosity . We were amazed of the sculptures the 2018 theme circus , the detail and enormity of the sculptures is one to see for yourselves . It runs from march to October and is then bulldozed and work begins the following January ready for the next season . Artists from all over come to display this very unique skill Well worth the entrance fee 4 pound adults 3 pound child . Looking forward to next year's display .

Entrance fee is £4. Excellent sculptures considering they are made of compacted sand. Different theme each year with this year's theme being circus. There are plenty of photo opportunities with the sculptures. Worth a visit but maybe not with really young children as you can't touch the sculptures.

It's an ideal spot for picnics, leisurely strolls, or engaging in various water sports like swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing—perfect for both adventure seekers and those looking to relax.
Great if you've got young kids as it's enclosed. Also love the path which goes around marine lake, with the bridge across the middle. Amazing to see the sunsets here, highly recommended if you want an easy walk. Only downside is the parking, this being hit and miss whether there's a space, it's also quite expensive but considering it's by the beach still reasonable

A superb and clean little beach leading to the marina sea. It has a lovely shallow paddling area before a drop off, and a few shells for sandcastle decoration. The sand always remains damp so bring something to sit on. I loved it here. There is quite a lot of ambient noise from talking etc, but still remained relaxing.

First time visiting and left disappointed. Adults do not supervise their children. Over 4s in the toddler area my toddler was knocked over three times by children aged way over ten that’s when we left. The staff were friendly when we arrrived and it was clean but they were more interested in stopping people pushing tables together than monitoring the parents who let their children be unruley. It just ruins it for small children when i made sure to keep my child in the designated toddler area. There was small children playing with the plugs for the machines also and no one seemed to care, I know it’s not necessarily the staffs fault but a mention to parents that there child is too big for toddler area wouldn’t go a miss.

Plenty of parking. There's one for National Trust which is free for members. Toilets, cafe with indoor and some outdoor seating. Big wide open beach but it is an estuary so it does tend to be brown rather than blue, and has rip tides so need to be very careful. The sand is compact (not soft) so very easy to walk on. There's a great walk up on Brean Down with good history and amazing view.

I found the ease of guidance on finding the screen number 7 by your ticket holder staff. Seat was really comfy and there was no disruptions throughout. Enjoyed the film very much.

Went to watch Jurassic Park earlier today to find the cinema absolutely empty. However, it seemed the teenagers in the front thought they were Jurassic and proceeded to give each other head the entire movie. Absolutely stunning sight as I watched a 7 bag a 10 and going down within 5 minutes. Would recommend as the seats were nice and soft and give quite the curve for someone with a plump bum like me. Hopefully next visit the teens decide to take it a step further. Can't wait!!!

Visited almost weekly for multiple years. Great cinema, even if it is getting a little run down now. You can see the repairs mounting up and they dont seem to be getting the funding for those repairs. This is mainly for the foyer and toilets. No issues found inside the screens themselves. Love coming here. Always clean when I have gone it. Would give 5 stars if not for the repairs needed as it hurts the overall look and experience. Cinema pass is well priced, if you watch 2 films a month or more its well worth getting the pass. Plus 25% off food and drink once you have made it pass a set time.

Nice, clean cinema experience with easy parking. Not too busy so easily able to relax. I do wish the adverts were a little shorter.

The Odeon Cinema, Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England is a beautiful art deco cinema building that is perfect for blockbuster movies in 2D or 3D format. It has friendly staff and great prices for snacks, making it a great choice for moviegoers of all ages.
Love the Odeon, Weston-super-Mare. Go all the time. Great price, friendly and perfect for families. So gutted (as are so many) that it's closing. And on my birthday as well. Please keep it open!!

Odeon Weston feels a little tired but the prices are brilliant. It shows a good selection of films and the staff are lovely. The screens feel a bit odd in their configuration and sound can transfer from one to another, also it could do with better food/drink options. But it's a great cinema in a lovely classic building.

Classic old cinema. Been coming here since childhood. Amazing cinema, full if history and so much character - should be restored to its former glory externally, and protected by grade listing ; internally, it is well maintained, clean and very comfy. A valuable asset to W-s-M - a perfect little cinema. And the staff are always lovely 💙🕉🙏❤️

Love this cinema. The building is so majestic and full of character. I think every local person to Westpon should support this cinema to ensure its survival let's focus on supporting what was always availiable to us rather than using services because they have a few more glitzy lights. The last movie I went to see there were only three people watching the movie on screen 2 including myself. :( The staff all young , educated and polite with good interpersonal skills. This was very refreshing. 👏👏

4 of us attended a showing of Thor, love and thunder. As soon as I sat down I new we had made a mistake. The seat was very uncomfortable. It was very very warm in there. The sound level was low and not all of the speakers were working. I was sat in the middle under the projector and couldn't hear the right rears at all. And to top it all off the people sat to my right had a wind up fan that sounded like a coffee grinder. Sorry Odeon but I don't think I will be coming back.
HYPER X — Google review
We were one of only 3 family's in there today. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The tickets were a decent price, especially compared to Vue but the food & drink was quite steep, in price. I had an Odeon card for my birthday, which practically covered the cost, so that was great! Overall, I would say very good.
Laura R — Google review
We love this cinema. 5 screens, comfy seating, booster seats for kids, if required. Refreshments available. Kids club films on Sat/Sun & school holiday mornings at discounted prices. Normal prices are only £4 per person adult or child. Great value for money.
Lesley T — Google review
What can I say, absolutely brilliant lovely staff always helpful. Ticket prices are unbeatable value for money. I would not expect to be able to go to the cinema and this day and age and have a cinema ticket a small popcorn and a drink for only £6 absolutely phenomenal value, without sacrificing service or quality brilliant. Occasionally you do hear other screens due to the old building, but is it that is not in disrepair after the recent refurbishment.

Staff were really friendly, considerate and helpful when needed. Staff we're really great and managing between helping and letting you get on with it. The gentleman who gave the first briefing, can't remember his name (blonde hair and glasses) was really good and approachable. Good value for money, will be going back at some point.

Fantastic child's birthday package- We were really pleased with the party experience provided! From the moment we arrived (a little flustered and late, due to the M5 traffic!), all of the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They handled everything with calm professionalism—even a couple of minor accidents were dealt with swiftly and sensitively, which really put us at ease. The children had an absolute blast! The climbing activities were exciting for all, and the whole atmosphere was buzzing with fun and laughter. The food was fab— tasty, and great for hungry little adventurers. Every detail was taken care of, and the party ran smoothly from start to finish. We had several other parents in our group who also commented on what a brilliant party it was, and I couldn’t agree more. Rock Up truly impressed us with their organisation, warmth, and attention to detail. Highly recommend for a stress-free, joy-filled celebration!

Pre booked a session for me, my bro and his kids. The session wasn't over-crowded so we could always climb what we wanted to without needing to wait. The other non-climbing members could watch the safety brief and then be in the area too to helkp the little ones clip on and off if me and my bro decided we wanted to to the timed race head to head. Plenty of staff around too.

Amazing place with super friendly staff , nothing was too much trouble! Everything was clean and well maintained. We held our daughter's birthday party here, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you so much for providing such a great venue. We purchased the party package, and everything was taken care of, including the party bags. Thanks for making it a birthday to remember — we’ll definitely be back!

Really great place, took our 3 year daughter there. Plenty of different walls to climb with different levels of difficulty and you get 1 hour in softplay included in the ticket price. Very limited seating in the soft play area which meant we were awkwardly stood trying to hold a hot cup of coffee. Will visit again and looks a good place for birthday parties.

Took 8 year old and 13 year old grandchildren. Impressed by fact that it wasn’t crowded and there were lots of staff on hand who were proactive in spotting where help/support was needed and quick to step in. 8 year old was really nervous to start with but was zipping up and down by end of session thanks to member of staff, Kia. Very clear instructions and rigorous safety procedures. Cafe area was clean and tidy. Food/drink reasonably priced. Everything very clean and well maintained. We went on the Friday of May half term.

Nestled along the stunning seafront of Weston-super-Mare, Funland Theme Park is a delightful family-friendly amusement park that promises fun for all ages. With an array of attractions including a thrilling roller coaster, a towering Ferris wheel, and an exciting log flume ride, there's something to get everyone's heart racing. The park also features numerous arcade games and prize booths that add to the excitement.
We visited while attending Comic Con, it was great for the price. Each of the kids rides were two tokens and you just buy a bunch of tokens beforehand. Saves fumbling for cash or worrying about change. We had a nice little break.
Marie H — Google review
Took the grandchildren (nearly 4 & 5). Youngest is just 1m plus a bit so passes min height but cannot ride some adult rides, this is not an issue as loads for the small ones. Really enjoyed their afternoon and hence so did we! Most rides for youngsters are 2 tokens, the hook a duck is 4 but the prizes are not too bad. The catering is not that special but there are tables etc outside. Ice cream was expensive at ,£3.50 single scoop and it was not that nice either ( Carte D’or) a kids portion should have been on offer..
David A — Google review
I popped in to have a look at the ice rink they've built there temporarily. Looks amazing and the family are going to love this if you can skate or want to learn this is the place to do it. Enjoy yourself.
Graeme B — Google review
It's quite a good and convenient small sized funfair with rides for all ages. The prices of the rides are very expensive, some of them are £5 per go, per person. Only the smallest kiddy rides are £2. Similarly the food and drink is quite expensive as well.
Hasanain Q — Google review
I am a content creator and usually support a variety of parks but the way Funland is operated is dangerous. Myself experienced a scare as the Extreme Freakout attraction started spinning as I was getting into my seat. If I would of slipped or not been able to get into my seat then I would of been hit in the head by the attraction. The ride operator had no regard for anyone just continuing to be on the phone for over 15 minutes even while the attraction is in motion. I have reported this to HSE as it is unacceptable. Luckily, we visited during the Local’s Crazy Night and enjoyed 1 token rides, thankful we did as many ride cycles felt a bit short especially MEGASPIN which only lasted about a minute. On normal days you can expect to pay as much as £4.50 a ride. Many staff we saw were very unfriendly and very rude towards many guests and don’t make you feel safe in an attraction one bit. I used to love visiting Funland but I never will be back until some serious changes are made as the place is just a disaster waiting to happen charging high prices.
ThemeParkJaden — Google review
Quite small but has a mix of rides for different age groups from small kids to adults. Bought £20 worth of tokens, which gives 24. This was enough for three rides for each of our kids, which was about right. Food was reasonably good and not too expensive. Would visit again.
Alan S — Google review
Lots of rides, some staff nice & friendly, others don't even smile, I'd say tokens can work out around £20 per child on average, but overall great experience
Waseem M — Google review
Kids had a ball on the various rides today. Although if you have a large family it could quickly become expensive at £4pp per ride. Height limits are only around 120cm which meant my 7 and 8 year old could go on the bigger rides

Visitors have raved about their experiences, praising the engaging storylines set by the staff and the fun, challenging puzzles. The rooms are filled with intriguing details that transport players into different worlds, such as a Harry Potter-themed chamber.
Our first escape room and it won’t be our last. We did the wizard room. The briefing we had beforehand was great and our room leader was really engaging and got us prepared for the challenge. And challenge it was, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience . We made it out with a little time to spare. Really enjoyed it!! Thanks.

My daughter wanted to do an escape room whilst away for a few days. We choose lock and code escape rooms near weston as it was only 15minutes drive from where we were staying. My wife and I had never done an escape room before whilst lexi had done 1 previously. I can honestly say that once you get your head round it, It really is fun the sort of thing you don't normally do as a family group or with friends etc. Sophie our host ran through a briefing beforehand covering health and safety and a explanation of how it works etc etc. She was fantastic. very knowledgeable and had a fantastic way of explaining things...in a humourous way. Whilst in the rooms doing the actuall challenge we were monitored by Sophie via cctv at all times. We managed to complete the challenge with 1.42 minutes remaining on the clock. So in summing up when we are next in that area we will definitely return to do another theme escape room. Sophie made the experience wonderfull. So if your in that area away on hols try lock and code escape rooms weston. 5 stars
Gary M — Google review
A fun centre with just the right amount of assistance. We played Hacking the Box in April 2024. We've played through many escape rooms before, and this one is a really well-crafted room with on-point theming and enough variety to not feel familiar to experienced players. Our host gave just enough nudges when it looked like we were struggling without being overbearing. That said, it is rated as their hardest room and we were finished around 46 minutes - everyone's rating of difficulty is personal but bear that in mind when deciding which room to do.
Gary F — Google review
Hidden away on a little trading estate but well worth the visit. Came here and did the wizards room and completed with time to spare. Was a really fun experience with challenging puzzles and great immersion. Our games master did a brilliant job briefing us and providing atmosphere along the way. Will absolutely be back.

Four of us completed 'return to the chamber' today for a mini-hen party. It was nothing short of genius! Loved the puzzles and twists and turns. Our Games Master, Lucy, was exceptionally good and guided us when needed. The room was full of bits and bobs and we genuinely felt like we were in Harry Potter world!! Thoroughly recommend to all Harry Potter fans and anyone who loves an escape room. Bloody brilliant!!!!
Jacqueline T — Google review
Our first escape rooms experience, which was a great eye opener and good for team building. By the way we only completed 50% of the clues in the alloted time, so we locked in....
Andrew P — Google review
Speaking as the now fastest escapees from their hardest room, I am delighted to say we had an absolutely fantastic time with Sophie! We've done a couple of other 'locked in a room' activities and really enjoy the activity! Sophie really set the story well for us and was very patient, especially as we were 10 minutes late! Sophie was fun, funny and just left us to play the game. When we played, it was during the middle of our heat wave where tempratures were 28 degrees and there was no wind at all. Sophie still gave us her full enthusiasm, was patient and really easy going and even ventillaited the building well for us! The puzzles were long, very well thought through with loads of clues and red herrings! As avid fans of puzzle rooms, we love a non-linear experience and this was certainatly that! With two different routes to find the puzzles, it kept us engaged and on our feet. We will certainatly be back to break the current records on the other two rooms! Thank you very much Sophie and team! We really appreciated the experience!
Nathan F — Google review

Plaza Cinema in Weston-super-Mare holds a special place in history as the former Odeon Cinema where The Beatles once performed. The cinema offers premium seats with ample legroom, making it comfortable for all patrons. Visitors can enjoy a traditional organ recital before the film, adding to the unique experience. The vintage Art Deco cinema features four screens and is conveniently located near parking and public transportation.
This is a unique, vintage, Art Deco cinema. Staff are super-helpful. 4 screens. At the moment parking isn't being checked at Tesco which is directly behind the Plaza, or bus stops are right outside. We attended an event there and got treated to the sight and sounds of the Compton organ - a real highlight 👌
Anya C — Google review
First visit in many years. Nothing much has changed since being bought out by plaza. Looks very tired and tatty with some threadbare chairs, peeling walls, damp ceilings and musty smell. However ; the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was good. Prices were reasonable only £5 per adult. Snacks available were the usual soft drinks, nachos, popcorn, sweets etc all more than you would pay outside of the plaza. The film we watched was deadpool & wolverine. The sound was a bit off in places but the picture was good. Seats were reasonably comfortable with drink holders and good leg space. There is a waiting area outside screen 1 which has been updated with seating and tables. Toilets on upper levels ok. Steps to access the plaza and screen 1. I think there is wheelchair access but you will need to check. No parking on site but carparks nearby, bus stops outside and street parking not too far away.

After almost paying extortionate prices at cineworld we happened upon Plaza Cinema where tickets were £6 each. The staff were so welcoming and professional and friendly. The experience was the best we’re ever had in a cinema. I Highly recommend visiting the Plaza cinema as opposed to any other if your anywhere near Weston super mare.

Fantastic staff & Mangerment service made to feel welcome from moment Entering to the moment leaving any issue had was quickly dealt with straight away with no problems. Despite the staff having issues with the local trouble makers they still go above and beyond whilst they are subject to abuse from the local toe rags and occasionally disgruntled customer who may have been asked to get off there phones. They have a Great selection of snacks and drinks for your movie.

Really cosy vibe, staff are all really friendly. This cinema has a very classic feel to it, the seating is very comfortable and the pricing is far more reasonable than the Cineworld round the corner. I am a big movie fan and I love a proper classic cinema trip and I reckon this will be the new go to as it is easily walkable from town and has all the amenities of a bigger chain cinema.
Catherine C — Google review
Gents toilets were out of order. Overheard a lady complaining about the ladies toilets also being out of order. Only toilet available was disabled that was out of order at the time being cleaned, had to leave the cinema to go to Tesco to use their toilets. Viewing and sound quality was poor compared to other venues. Spend the extra few £ and go to the other venue
Graham F — Google review
I have been a customer at this cinema since I was a child. I had many happy experiences when it was the Odeon. I was sad to see the Odeon close and thought it was amazing that it had been bought by Merlin Cinemas and reopened. However, a recent visit to the Plaza did not end well, staff were rude and argumentative, paint was flaking on many of the walls, crumbs on the seats, wobbly unsafe handrails on the stairs, little to no soap in soap dispensers, used cups in cup holders, ripped seat covers. When reporting this to Head Office, Head Office were in full support of their staff and have stated that staff have checked all the boxes for soap in soap dispensers, no flaking paint, no used cups in the cup holders, no crumbs on the chairs, all of which is not true. It has not changed at all, they have not put there own stamp on the place. Only decent things about it is that it is local and prices are cheap. Pay more at Cineworld for nicer toilets, no crumbs, no rubbish, no wobbly hand rails, polite staff. The Plaza CHEAP for a reason.

Sky View in Weston-super-Mare offers a thrilling bird's eye view of the area from a 40-meter high observation wheel, available only during the summer. The experience provides amazing views, but it may not be suitable for those uncomfortable with heights. While some find it to be a bit expensive for families, others believe that the breathtaking experience justifies the cost. On clear days, visitors can enjoy beautiful panoramic vistas from this attraction.
The Sky View Ferris Wheel in Weston-super-Mare is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting the area. This towering attraction offers an experience that blends both fun and breathtaking beauty, making it perfect for families, couples, or even solo travelers looking to take in some stunning views. One of the first things that stood out to me was the pricing. It’s surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the experience. Unlike many attractions where you feel rushed, the Sky View Ferris Wheel truly offers value for money. You get to go around three times, which is more than enough to soak in the incredible scenery and snap some fantastic photos. The view itself is nothing short of spectacular. As you ascend, the entire landscape of Weston-super-Mare unfolds beneath you. On one side, you have the vast expanse of the shimmering sea, stretching out to meet the horizon. The sight of the sun glinting off the waves is genuinely mesmerizing. On the other side, you get a panoramic view of the town, with its charming buildings, bustling promenade, and the iconic Grand Pier. It’s a unique way to see Weston-super-Mare from a completely new perspective. As you reach the highest point, it’s worth noting that it can get a bit chilly, especially if there’s a breeze coming off the sea. I’d recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater just in case, but the cool air adds to the experience, making it feel refreshingly crisp. What’s also great is how safe and sturdy the pods feel. Whether you’re someone who loves heights or tends to feel a bit uneasy, there’s no need to worry here. The pods are well-designed, enclosed, and provide a stable ride throughout. You can relax and enjoy the views, knowing that you’re in good hands. In conclusion, the Sky View Ferris Wheel is highly recommended if you’re in Weston-super-Mare. It’s not just a ride; it’s a chance to see the town and its surroundings from a whole new vantage point. With decent pricing, multiple rotations, and views that will leave you in awe, it’s an experience that adds a memorable touch to any visit. Don’t miss it!

We arrived at Weston Super Mare at about 15:00 on a Saturday afternoon in late August. The little boy was Weston Super Excited and looking forward to seeing the sea and going on the beach. First impressions of WSM leave a lot to be desired, beautiful architecture ruined by horrible placards selling tat and more tat. After deciding not to pay £6 for parking as we only intended to be there a hour or so, we found a short stay car park and stumped up £2.50 for two hours. A five minute walk to the beach and... where’s the sea? Honestly, couldn’t see it. The was a large yellowish puddle on the beach but this more resembled drain water. There are a few features to see at WSM but these are well overpriced. It would have cost us £12 to see some very large sandcastles but there are just sandcastles. Going to the seaquarium looked like a good idea but having read the reviews online and having been to the Aquarium in Newquay this week, this also seemed a bit expensive. So, to the big wheel. The ride itself was very smooth, quiet and the view was indeed impressive (though still found it hard to see the sea). We went round three times and we were happy to pay £14 for me, the wife and the child to go on. Well, the wife paid but you get the point. Service from the young girl at the counter left a lot to be desired but this was a common thing for the people we encountered in WSM. Still, can’t say I blame them, we were able to leave and I guess they live there.

Nestled near the iconic Grand Pier, these delightful rides offer visitors a chance to experience the beach in a unique way. The licensed operators prioritize both safety and animal welfare, ensuring that each donkey is well-cared for and healthy.
Lovely donkeys, all looking fit and healthy and well cared for. They enjoy their time on the beach and interaction with people.

I visited the Verwood Hub to watch a pantomime and had a delightful time. The hall was of an appropriate size and the stage was adequately spacious. The seating layout allowed for good visibility, although there could have been more leg room. It is a great venue for children as they thoroughly enjoyed it. The facility also had clean toilets and a sitting area. Recently, the staff at The Hub organized an event for 100 children and their families, providing them with an excellent venue.
very nice centre . have a good sized auditorium with comfortable seats. there are balcony other smaller rooms for other smaller events. Nice bar with reasonable prices. good parking outside. ot was very clean including toilets

Saw the Bootleg Shadows at The Hub! Wonderful evening of proper music! Great venue with cafe & bar! Good value meals too! I'm definitely going again! 👍🎵🎸

Kewl! Friendly, helpful staff when I used to hop to the gym; this tradition continued today when I lazed away a couple of day-off hours, sofaseated in a sunny atrium window. Jordan fixed me up a gluten-free bacon bap instead and a dairy-free mocha (the best, I vow), all Hot Hot Hot and only for £6.70. Bacon is gorgeous - crisp not cracking; juicy not fatty!

Good place. I use the gym there 3 to 4 times a week. It's never too crowded. To be honest I always avoid the pick "after work" time. It's always clean and the staff is pleasant. Also toilets and changing rooms are always looking fresh and clean. I do not use their other facilities but I see they always have something going on with shows, comedies, musicals, bingo nights. Thank you .

As a regular attendee of the Verwood hub gym and classes, I can say that I particularly enjoy the spin classes held by Carly, Vicky, Julie and more recently, the new instructor Caroline. Caroline’s class yesterday was superb and although it was geared for serious cyclists, I found to be extremely enjoyable and catered well for all abilities. Caroline herself was super professional and her instruction was of a very high standard. It would be great to see her join the regular excellent team of instructors at the Hub!

Went to a Coldplay, Stereophonics, Oasis tribute act on Saturday 12th April. The sound was so loud, it spoilt the evening. I'm aware that the bands represented are meant to be 'loud', but this was way too much. Very pleasant staff at the bar though, it was really busy..but they were all polite and cheerful.

Went to a coldplay/ oasis/ stereo phonics tribute act and it was immense! Bar could do with being bigger but the staff were amazing as were the band!!!

I went to the hub for a specific event with Bournemouth and District concert band. The band did really well. The staff at the hub were professional and friendly. The parking is a bit eccentric as there is clearly not lot of parking on site and much of what was there was being occupied by maintenance vehicles and Harris fencing. You then have to figure out if parking nearby is OK as it is not clearly signed. Turns out it was fine but it nags at you after visiting places like Bournemouth where they fine you for the smallest infraction. The hall for the band was a great size and the seating comfortable. However the lack of air conditioning meant that the band and audience were over heating. The staff suggested opening doors but the duty manager said this was not possible due to neighbour complaints. Frankly, who moves next to a music venue and then complaints about the noise??. So fans were put on which did begin to cool the hall but I had to wonder why this was not already in operation in a space the staff knew to be hot, on a warm evening when it was going to be busy. Overall the hub is an adequate venue but has the feel of somewhere struggling for revenue. It is sadly typical of provincial theatres and halls that modern amenities such as air conditioning are not already installed. My overall opinion is that It is a place trying to be far too many things at once and thereby sadly failing at doing most of them. With a bit of creativity and clear proactive management it could be so much better.

Video arcade
Penny Falls is a small casino-arcade that provides a variety of games including slot machines and offers ticket redemption for prizes. It's located near a beautiful beach with clean sands, offering activities like donkey rides and bouncy castles for kids. Recent improvements have led to happier staff and better treatment of customers, making it the best arcade in town with friendly staff and enjoyable refreshments. It's definitely worth a visit for some fun entertainment.
Had a wonderful time at the beach, beaches were very clean and had beautiful soft sand. Donkey rides and bouncy castles entertained our 5 year old perfectly.

Shocking machines always broke and malfunctioning Current manager is very unhelpfull and unsympathetic sometimes quite rude Doesn't look after her local all year round customers and will not sort issues when problems are reported Massive shame as this arcade had a very good local client base but even the locals go elsewhere now due to her not being able to.manage this place properly Have to add the the floor staff are brilliant Helpfull and are more than happy to make tou feel comfortable
