Established in 1955, Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is the second oldest marine park in America. It showcases a variety of marine life including Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions, Peruvian penguins, and Ridley turtles across 14 captivating exhibits. The park also features the U.S. Air Force Armament Museum with an impressive display of 25 reconnaissance, fighter and bomber planes. Visitors can explore artifacts from prehistoric Indian cultures at the Indian Temple Mound Museum located nearby.
The animals were a delight! You could tell they were happy and playful. All where either contently resting, roaming gracefully, or energetically bouncing with excitement for their trainers to come in. We learned lots of fun facts. You could view the ocean while wandering through. Prices were great! Every staff member was friendly, helpful and willing to chat or point you in the right direction! Amazing improvements from when I was here 20 years ago and I loved it then too! Impressive!

Wonderful experience and wonderful staff! You can feel how passionate everyone working there is for the animals and for those wanting to observe them. The animals seem very happy, and I love their rehabilitation exhibit with the sea turtles. Downside is obviously food cost; however, those teriyaki chicken sliders were so yummy. Definitely recommend!
Halle P — Google review
We went for a few hours in the afternoon. Most of it is covered to block the hot sun. There's several exhibits. A few not native to the United States. It's an older aquarium it opened in 1955 so it's celebrating it's 70th anniversary. The seal and dolphin shows were super entertaining. They even house the injured. Nice place to take the children to. The Pier is right next to the aquarium.
Lynda S — Google review
We loved our visit here! It was very educational and the perfect size for the kids to not become overwhelmed or tired. We really enjoyed the sea lion show & the dolphin show. We sat in the "splash zone" for the dolphin show and that was the highlight of the day for our kids! They thought it was so fun getting splashed by the dolphins & also thought it was really special to be so close to them. I personally enjoyed the CARE center and seeing the work being done to help rehab the injured sea turtles.
Kara S — Google review
Awesome spot for the kids with a touch tank and various shows (sea lions / dolphins) and presentations on sharks, penguins, and more. Most is outside so wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Its right on the water so there's beautiful views and a restaurant next door.
Dana F — Google review
Excellent experience for kids! We really enjoyed all that they had to offer and we didn't get to see all of the shows. We did see the dolphin show which was awesome and you can tell the trainers really care about the animals that they train. We do recommend getting to the show earlier so you can get the seats that you want. We also watched the Sea Lion shows and it was awesome as well. Lots of information and very educational for the kids.
Brandon S — Google review
$75 for two to walk around the animals was a bit much as they really do not have the attractions to warrant that price point. So what if you can come back with your receipt. If there is nothing the first time around then the second or third would not have me excited. I truly am an animal person too, so many of the exhibits need some help as animals could use a little more attention for sure.
Markus S — Google review
Absolutely loved the Gulfarium! There were many animals to see including manatees, dolphins, sea lions, otters, penguins, sharks, reptiles and more! With your tickets, you are able to attend shows and animal talks. This facility talked a lot about conservation and helping the animals! The manatees were definitely my favorite part, especially knowing I have seen Lil Joe and Inigo at Disney's Epcot before!!

The Emerald Coast Science Center, located in Fort Walton Beach, offers a unique and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. With exhibits focusing on the human body, animals, colors, vehicles, and more, the center encourages hands-on exploration. From interactive robotics to airflow engineering demonstrations and a color and light display with rainbow glasses and kaleidoscopes, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Wonderful exhibit. You can see everything within 1-2 hours, which was perfect for us to kill some time. Staff are very nice!! Love the animals they have. The director was there and let us hold some of the snakes. Very enthusiastic about everything. Please give this place your business and learn a bit in the process!
Alexander M — Google review
Wow! What a great place! My 7 and yr old especially enjoyed it. My 14/13 yr old had fun too but it's definitely more geared towards a younger crowd. Either way everyone enjoyed the exhibits. There were a few down and closed off areas which was too bad but we still very much enjoyed our visit.
M — Google review
A cute and fun place to visit to gain a little knowledge while staying (mostly) in-doors on a hot week. A great cool down spot for our kids, they would have stayed there forever if you let them (who knew matching games were so fun). There was also a creature feature going when we arrived, and in the words of my daughter “sugar gliders are SO CUTE” (I don’t disagree). I highly recommend if you are looking for something to do that your kids will enjoy!
Emily L — Google review
Took my granddaughter and her friend, they are 9 & 10. They enjoyed it and we spent 2 hours there. There is a reptile room, birds and fish as well as chinchillas, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders. There are large birds, and a tortoise 🐢 outside. The learning and interactive centers are cool. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a small section of merchandise for souvenirs, and a decent size outdoor area! It was a Saturday afternoon, & they were hosting a birthday party, so it was a tad busy. There was plenty of free parking, in front of the building. $12 each, admission fee.
Lori — Google review
It's a great place to take young children (4-10). Older kids won't be too thrilled. When I took my kids today, most of the exhibits were out of order which ruined the experience. They did have a cool planetarium exhibit today which was extra. It went over our solar system.
Adam B — Google review
Nice place to explore a lot of things also nice indoors when rain is outside. Just did not like that some robot arms where a bit broken and the hurricane simulator did cost extra fee. But all in all a nice trip with kids.
Fabi K — Google review
I have added a star after the great response from the science center reminding me how many places have to operate with limited means. The center has potential, and I hope to see how it flourishes when I revisit the area. Pretty high price for a small place with broken exhibits. The presentation area was tiny and crowded. I suggest adding information on why the museum has the caged animals on their information card. Appreciated the story about the bear. Grandson enjoyed the water safety area.

Wild Willy's Adventure Zone is a sprawling family fun center located on Okaloosa Island, just a short distance from Fort Walton Beach. The complex offers an extensive range of indoor and outdoor activities suitable for visitors of all ages. Inside, guests can enjoy an expansive redemption arcade, laser maze, remote-controlled battle boats, rope obstacle course, reverse bungee trampoline, 4D movie theater, and spinning roller coaster.
This adventure park was such a fun experience! There were tons of arcade games inside, and the mini golf tickets were super affordable—we played for hours with friends. The course was creative and well-designed, with fun pirate facts scattered throughout 🏴‍☠️. Highly recommend visiting with family or friends!
Brandi H — Google review
We bought the package for go karts and the 18 hole mini golf for 49.95/person. It wasn’t worth it, the go karts were very slow and with this you do not get what you pay for. We were initially really excited about the go karts, afterwards it was a let down. You only get a few laps for the price you pay. If you’re looking for speed or a thrill, look for somewhere else, it’s just not worth it. There is a large track with faster go karts called the track in town. Mini golf was probably our favorite thing about the money, only because there was a group of us and we’re competitive. Otherwise it’s an above average course and it was fun. I would maybe do this by itself for a price, but not coupled with a package
Keith W — Google review
There were so many things to do here and it's very unique. My husband and I tried the ropes coarse which is amazing if you're a thrill seeker, and we did a round of mini golf. We did the Dino theme (they have multiple themes) mini golf which was so fun with interactive features , fun facts, and unique holes. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try everything and it is a bit expensive so definitely expect to spend a lot of money. Golf and ropes was $60 together before tax but I think they have deals too so check those out. But we had fun and it seems pretty clean. Highly recommend.
Katie C — Google review
Fun mini golf and arcade! Prices were fine but try to go on an overcast day or evening so it isn't so darn hot! Not much shade on the mini golf course but they had some fans which helped. Very fun for the kids
Melanie H — Google review
Fun mini golf and arcade place, has fun rides and race cars, sadly one of the courses was closed and no reason given and honestly the only reason for lower score was the outdoor card readers for the gun game are broken and not maintained and they don’t say broken, the staff could care less if you were there, understanding they are teens earning extra, they cared way more about their gossip conversation than serving any customers or even putting the golf clubs away, general cleaning or even retrieving the balls off the 18th hole. I don’t know if the shift lead was busy, was one of the teens or just not super good at directing their staff, but it was pretty bad. Thank you to the owner for responding. Good to know about the card readers, appreciate the response. Wish I could give half stars and improve. Love coming here for mini golf.
Chris C — Google review
On a rainy weekend at the beach these places are a godsend. My daughter was down at the beach for her birthday but half the weekend was rained out. She really wanted to go kart but wasn't big enough to drive so we did the arcade and Lazer tag. The game selection was pretty great and almost all of the machines were operational which can be rare at arcades. My daughter loved the Minecraft Dungeons game. The 9 year old also got to play a very small game of Lazer tag but she had fun. At the time we were there nobody else was playing so she made friends and got a 4 person free for all. Obviously ropes courses and mini golf or go karts aren't the best in the rain but the rest was a welcome attraction for kids who can't go swimming. The employees were even pretty good, not the usual dead inside teens working at these types of places.
Coty H — Google review
This is THE best and nicest place to play mini golf in the Destin/Ft. Walton area. They have two 18 hole courses to choose from that are challenging and fun and great for the whole family. We go year and after year and are never disappointed.
Paige — Google review
Great putt-putt with two options for themes. To the right is Dinosaur themed holes and to the left are the Pirate themed holes. There is also an arcade and bungee jumping. Unfortunately there is no alcohol served here at all.

John Beasley Park is a picturesque beachside destination featuring pavilions, a snack bar, changing rooms, and showers. The park offers a serene and less-crowded environment with ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, bird watching, and boating. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking at the available tables or take leisurely strolls along the expansive beach and tall dunes.
Beautiful beach, no parking fees. Cool places for photo ops, if you have a teenager that loves to pose for photos 🤣. There's a stand to buy drinks/snacks/ beach gear when you walk in also
Chassey B — Google review
It's free there's and there is plenty of concessions and a nice little keyed entry bathroom and shower area right at the entry to the beach access but the sand is a little more "traveled" that further down beach and it seems the water is a whole lot more shallow to the sandbars. Which has its ups and downs, I guess. The water today was amazing and I fully enjoyed my swim and will definitely return tonight for the sunset for another round.
Michael R — Google review
Beautiful beach! Went on a Monday so it wasn’t crowded. Very relaxing. Nice little gift shop and concession stand. Great spot to bring your lunch as they have covered park benches with restrooms.
J V — Google review
Very nice and clean park with restrooms, changing areas, and showers to rinse off. Beautiful view, and we found tons of shells and sand dollars. Also, they have a "borrow me" bin with boogie boards and sand toys, which is a perfect touch for those visiting.
Austin R — Google review
Beautiful beach, walkway to the beach is beautiful in itself. They have a little store at the entrance for cold drinks, ice-cream, snow cones and beachwear. Lots of parking and it's much less crowded then some of the other ar e areas.
Sandy R — Google review
Beautiful beaches + dunes! Great location to visit the beach. Clean bathrooms, friendly shop staff, and clear info on the ocean status/rip current. Awesome spot to also see the military planes flying over.

4th of July was amazing. Beach is clean and not packed. Showers and restrooms were clean as well. Easy parking and a great experience. Patrol was doing thier job, made me want to bring my kids next time.

The Indian Temple Mound Museum in Fort Walton Beach is a treasure trove of Southeastern tribal history and culture. It houses traditional artifacts, lifestyle exhibits, and ceramic pieces that showcase the rich heritage of the region. The museum is located at the site of a sacred burial ground with a large mound built by the Pensacola Indian tribe around 800 CE.
Lots of artifacts and historical information here. Mound is somewhat intact. So much has been lost due to the sidewalks, roads and buildings that completely surround this place. Luckily this was preserved. Staff was very knowledgeable about the history of this area. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Colton L — Google review
I’ve been to a lot of Indian mounds across the Southeastern United States & this is one of my favorites! Great for kids & adults! The museum had several interactive exhibits as well as a wide assortment of Indian relics & artifacts. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Also the gift shop has everything from post cards to research books. Highly recommend!!!
Tiffany C — Google review
A fantastic little museum full of Native American history, and currently a pirate exhibit that's perfect for younger kids! Lovely staff, very kind and helpful! We visited with our luggage to kill time, and they let us leave our bags behind the counter which was so helpful!
Katie S — Google review
Great stop with a variety of local history of indigenous people and artifacts as well as early settlers. The friendly guide in the schoolhouse was really interesting and informative.

Very informative place. Great to bring kids. Have an exhibition, plus 3 buildings you can tour. Please like and rate review if this helps you out. Thanks

Came here on a Thursday morning and it got busy pretty quickly! The staff was great, they have a nice gift shop. We didn't go through the museum because we had to get back to our hotel but we did buy some cool stuff to support them, including a beautiful ring. The Mound was magical and felt like we stepped back in time just from simply looking at it. I love everything Native American and will always support anything I can.
Toula F — Google review
There is a lot of history here!! Plus there's more than just the Indian mound there's an old-school 1800s post office and a Confederate Fort. So totally worth the journey It's a nice 30 to 45 minute learning experience about culture in America in Florida!
Ac D — Google review
I thought I was 1/8 Native American until 2 different DNA tests told me otherwise. One useless fact later.... this place is an unexpected delight in the middle of a concrete jungle. The artifacts have a distinct Incan vibe. The modern Freemason temple across the street from this historic temple indicates that there's more value to this location that is likely not fully understood by the average visitor. Hidden gem if you ask me. Be sure to support the site and locals through the gift shop.

The Boardwalk, Okaloosa Island, is a vibrant waterfront complex offering a mix of shopping and dining options with easy access to the public beach. Visitors can enjoy pirate shows, summer fireworks, and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. The area also features popular restaurants like Floyds Shrimp House and Rockin Tacos for post-wedding celebrations. Additionally, nearby parks such as Ross Marler Park and John Beasley Park provide opportunities for leisurely strolls and scenic vistas.
it's a cool area to hang out on the beach and have the peer for watching sunsets and sunrises. there is also live entertainment behind you at Al's and there is a shopping mall with a few stores and you can get kites from Kitty Hawk kites. there's also a taco place to eat that is fair. owls has live entertainment all the time they do fireworks a couple times a week they have kids events inside and on the beach is all open Bay in the back. the beach area is a bit crowded at times but there is always plenty of room to park your things and still enjoy it all. Al's has a fire throwing event on Wednesday nights. we were there for the 4th of July and it was not as crazy as I anticipated on it being. they did not have fireworks there that was my only disappointment. but they did host fireworks at the Harbor Boardwalk and across the bay which we could see from there on the beach. we saw dolphins around the end of the pier.

Been coming here my whole life. Some great restaurants and great vibes. Love the rental chairs right in front. We come eat and carry minimal stuff like towels and can setup for the day even with three kids. Everything you need is right there. Bathrooms, roof, drinks, chairs and umbrellas, volleyball courts, and a fishing pier. I'm sure I'm missing more but it's where it's at.
John T — Google review
My girlfriend and I loved this place! It was $2 a person ~ $4 plus tax for us and it was the best value experience on our trip. We saw dolphins (many many sightings) tiger sharks, jelly fish, and sea turtles. Definitely recommend going during sunset so it’s not too hot, the breeze was an absolute dream.
Alex L — Google review
What an awesome experience… from the stores, Fall decorations, restaurants and beautiful beach views during the day to live music, lights galore, restaurants/bars, and fire dancers this was a definite go-to for visitors and locals. We had a great time and will be back. My now fiancé proposed to me on the gorgeous white sand and we had a wonderful time celebrating. Everything was super clean and it was just a really awesome experience!
K M — Google review
Great place to hang for a bit! I've hung out here twice when waiting to catch a flight and was great! Plenty of places to sit in the shade. Very close to the pier. Clean and accessible bathrooms. Lots of good food options! Even a place to store luggage!
Dedo M — Google review
Went with some friends on the pier. Absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to go back and go fishing! And they will rent you some poles if you don't have any so you can fish! Is that not the coolest thing ever!?!
Dawneees — Google review
Very nice area to spend several hours eating, shopping, and a walk out onto the pier. So many people were fishing off the pier while we were there, looked fun for those that like to fish. Sunset was amazing!

Such an awesome museum with alot of history. Something for the whole family to enjoy. The employees were very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend.

Informative, inexpensive local history. The volunteers had a lot of information to share about the schoolhouse and time period. The info posted throughout the Heritagrle Center was plentiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great stop if you enjoy learning some history.

A nice museum with knowledgeable staff. My family enjoyed the schoolhouse and post office best. The Indian museum has nice hands-on exhibits. It is a good experience for families at a good price! A tip- you begin the museum tour with the Indian Mound exhibits in the main building, however, we rushed into the schoolhouse first to get out of the rain and were allowed to pay at the end.
Shawn M — Google review
Went while on vacation. Had to wait to get in due to a class field trip present at the time. The mound is a replica and not as big as it should be. But that’s the only reason it loses a star. The museum itself is well laid out and informative. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. In particular, the woman working in the schoolhouse was fantastic. I hadn’t even planned on visiting the school and she made it the best part. Definitely a spot to kill an hour while learning something.

Liza Jackson Park in Fort Walton Beach is a picturesque destination offering 1,000 feet of waterfront space. The park features play structures, pavilions, picnic tables, a fishing pier, and a boat launch. It's an ideal spot for relaxation and spending quality time with loved ones. The park opens daily from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, providing opportunities for morning strolls along the water or mid-day picnics.
This is a nice little park, dog friendly, and a great location. There are several different fenced in dog enclosure areas for different sizes of dogs, and then there is also a nice little area of beach where the dogs can run and play in the water. There is even a nice little area with some fresh water hoses for getting drinking water for the dogs, or giving them a fresh water rinse down after they've played in the ocean. This park also has a pier, a boat launch and a kayak launching area. I haven't personally launched any watercraft from this park, but it's definitely a park that has all of these options available to the public.

As a tourist in the area I was looking for a nice dog park for my Cane Corso to go and enjoy some play time with me and cool off. This park was perfect. It offers a fenced off leash area for owners who are looking for that. What I loved was the open areas, all the shady trees, watching the ducks. Picnic tables were kinda gross…. Tooo much duck poo. Loki (my Cane Corso) and myself had a nice picnic on the grass, cooled our paws and toes off in the little lake, and enjoyed the shade. I did not go into the off leash fenced area but it looked nice with toys and some shade.

We were down for a vacation with the boat and had an issue with the motor. While "in repair" my buddy and I went by the park in the early morning to do a little fishing at the pier. Nice facilities and well kept park. The bathrooms were clean and the information boards were informative. The park has a good little boat ramp for kayakers and small boats. We caught a couple of blowfish and saw some schooling mullets, my buddy fished a nice pair of CliC Glasses out of the water (still in usable condition). Great for anyone including families with kids. Highly recommend!!

The backdrop of this park is just magnificent. You can see straight across the water to Okaloosa Island. It’s so peaceful. Most of the dock and fishing piers were destroyed in Hurricane Sally which at this point was about 9 months ago and still hasn’t been replaced. The playground equipment has recently been updated and is pretty good, however there are already some broken swings and badly rusted chains and equipment. Homelessness has always been a huge issue at this park and the park about two miles away at the landing. Every pavilion is usually occupied by the homeless and their belongings. Overall we stop by here often. There is a short walking path with a cute little bridge which makes it a lovely spot to go and adore a sunset while having a relaxing walk before winding down for the evening. This park has potential. If it was any other town I’d give it three or two stars but honestly fort Walton beach I hold to a lower standard even though it has a special place in my heart.

The Indian Temple Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-3:00. The school house is open 10:30-2:30 Tuesday-Saturday. This is good info to have because Google says they open at 1. We went at 2:20 thinking we had plenty of time, and we were not able to go in the school house.

Located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida since 1958, Goofy Golf is a classic and quirky mini-golf destination perfect for families. With two 17-hole courses that culminate in the challenging 'Snake's Mouth' 18th hole, this affordable and old-school attraction offers simple enjoyment for all ages. The iconic T-Rex mascot named Hammy adds to the vintage charm of this mini-golf course.
3/2025 My family and I came to check this spot out. We enjoyed ourselves. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly, talkative, and accommodating. The price is extremely fair & I appreciate businesses who can make things affordable for ALL.

This place is a must visit if you are in Fort Walton Beach! This retro and quirky mini-golf establishment offers two different courses with very unique features. We went with our teenagers and we were laughing and cheering each other on the whole time.
Karleigh E — Google review
Hidden gem! Course was challenging, fun, and well kept. Don't judge a book by its cover. This course was great and reasonably priced. $6 for adults. They only accept cash or Venmo but they have an ATM. Even though it was crowded, we didn't feel rushed. Tiger's Blood slushie was tasty. Highly recommend for good family fun!
Chris — Google review
Very cool spot for my first ever mini golf adventure, it seems to be a local hot spot and it had such a retro charm to it! I really enjoyed all the cool statues and animal themed courses. The staff was friendly and funny, the prices were good and the slushies were yummy too! I’ll have to come back if I’m ever in the area!

Kids loved it, simple. Just wish they would fix all the motorized parts of the course. Takes away from the fun.. its not difficult to do it. If you need help let me know, I have a crew or volunteers that would be willing to fix them if you provide parts.

Nice, old school mini golf. Staff were friendly and me and my family had a blast. Great price for a night of fun! Nothing fancy, but sometimes that’s what’s best!
Amanda C — Google review
I visited Goofy Golf the other day for the first time in years, and I was blown away by how great everything looked. The upgrades and renovations throughout the course are fantastic — it’s clear that a lot of care went into making the space fun, clean, and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I especially want to shout out Dan, who was the first person we interacted with. His positive attitude and welcoming demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing experience. It’s refreshing to have a place like this in my hometown where you genuinely feel like your presence is appreciated. This visit was a night-and-day difference from how we were treated at Okaloosa National Mini Golf & Ice Cream. At Goofy Golf, the staff actually make you feel like they want you to be there. Highly recommend it for families, locals, and visitors alike. Goofy Golf has definitely earned a return visit from me!

We had an absolute blast! Way better than most of the other plain mini golf options in the area. Each hole has something wild going on and we had fun trying to get the ball where it needed to go. Extremely affordable! I also, love that they have umbrellas throughout the course. It gets very hot in Florida but that shade makes a huge difference! We are definitely planning to go back!

Emerald Coast Island Excursions, also known as Crab Island, is a popular floating sandbar in Fort Walton Beach. It's a vibrant gathering spot where locals and tourists come together to enjoy the crystal-clear turquoise waters, indulge in water sports, savor drinks and food from floating vendors, and socialize. Visitors can also spot wildlife like dolphins and turtles on the way to Crab Island.
We rented two boats through Captain Brian for a bachelorette party. He provided everything you could have possibly needed to have the perfect day! From paddle boards, speakers, water toys, awesome footage: you name it, he had it! What could have been a simple day at Crab Island was turned into an amazing sightseeing tour to start our morning off. We saw hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, and dolphins. It was incredible how close they got the boats! We truly had the perfect day on Crab Island and could not have asked for a better trip with better captains. Shoutout to Emerald Coast Island Excursions for making this trip one to remember!
Toni P — Google review
We had such an amazing experience with Emerald Coast Island Excursions! We rented two boats for half a day for our group of 10 women celebrating my bachelorette, and it could not have been better. At first, I was worried that since we were on two separate boats we might feel divided, but they kept us close together the entire time so it still felt like one big group adventure. I was on the boat with Captain Brian, who was so knowledgeable and made the trip unforgettable. He brought us to different spots where we got to see dolphins, turtles, and even sharks, such a cool experience! They also provided so much for us, including water toys, paddle boards, a cooler, and more that I’m probably forgetting. They even took tons of photos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible day on the water. They were fantastic!

10000000% recommend booking with Emerald Coast Island Excursions!! I can’t emphasize enough what great service we were provided when booking, asking questions, and then the trip to CRAB ISLAND! Captain Sam was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and so kind. We got to see nearby wildlife, Crab Island, and the gulf waters. He brought so many fun inflatables for us to enjoy the day on. It was absolutely perfect. This is easily the best boating company out there, and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
Lauren A — Google review
We had the absolute best time on our excursion to Crab Island! We rode around and saw dolphins and sea turtles. Captain Sam was awesome! He took care of everything, was great with the kids and had answers to all of our questions. They have everything! Slides, paddle boards, floats, snorkels, toys all of it. We’ve never done an excursion like this but from the looks of the others we saw this was hands the down the best experience. 10/10!
Danielle W — Google review
I booked a fleet of 3 boats for a group of 20 girls for a bachelorette trip. This was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The boats are gorgeous, I’ll tell you right now that if you go out to crab island these are definitely the coolest and nicest boats/setups you will see. There’s what seems to be a million things included in the already very reasonably priced boat rental. We had a captain for each boat and they were so awesome, they fit right in with our group and really made it such an awesome experience. They even took us to deep water so we could safely use the slide and jump off the boat which was so fun!! I felt like I got so lucky and booked the perfect company, when it seems like there are so many to choose from. I 100/10 recommend Emerald Coast Island Excursions!!

Capt Brian and his staff were great!! It was my first time going to Destin to visit Crab Island. Prior to arriving, communication was clear. On the day of the excursion Capt Brian checked in to ensure that we were good to venture out! My friends and I had sooooo much fun on the pontoon!! The company provided great water toys, a cooler and a speaker. Memories were created that will last a lifetime! I highly recommend their company.

Great area and crystal waters . One of the best beaches I’ve visited on the coast.

Bathrooms are at the end of the shopping area. There are outdoor showers to rinse off as well. The kids enjoyed playing in the waves and digging in the sand. It's close to shopping and restaurants. We visited after going to the Gulfarium for the morning. I liked that it wasn't overly crowded and we had plenty of space.

I like to come to this area for quick trips to the beach. I do t usually swim at this location but it's nice still. Live nearby but I tend to stay away during summer and spring break. This is a busy area for tourists during this time. I go to my hidden beach spots for swimming instead. :)

Great outdoor space and playground for kids. Local shops and food places across the street and food trucks at park. Restrooms on site and local security is always reassuring.

An adorable park behind the scenes of a busy road. A little gem currently being tarnished a bit, however, by construction. If you can overlook that though there is plenty of atmosphere. It was a comfortable walk to the shops and we enjoyed a thick cookie while kiddos played and stretched their legs. Can't wait to visit again when the construction is finished.
Rachel R — Google review
I stumbled across this park while walking around Fort Walton, and it was such a nice surprise. It’s right by the water, with a great view of the bay. There’s a playground, open space, and a boardwalk to stroll along. It’s really peaceful, especially around sunset. They sometimes host events here too, which adds to the charm. A perfect little spot to hang out.
Jordan W — Google review
Went here for the pirate festival in may. Went around three and there weren’t many children until around 4! The people were very friendly and the park was very clean. There wasn’t anything sticky that would require a child to wash hands after. There is a bathroom (I didn’t go into) and if you walk a little bit on the path you can even see the water. I would definitely recommend this park for high energy kids since there is a lot to do!! They even have a little free library book stand!
Coco M — Google review
This is a nice park to go to. Although there is construction by the water. It has a nice shaded playground for kids to play. There is a little library under the pavilion. Located right behind the downtown strip of shops/ restaurants/ bars. There are different events that happen on the lawn like the Saturday market, concert series, fireworks on occasion. I know they are working on updating the area but the restrooms are not very pleasant. There are also no picnic tables or other seating besides a few blocks by the playground.
Summer S — Google review
The beach was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and I liked how people weren’t right on top of each other. Lifeguards were patrolling on four wheelers and I saw a beach police officer as well. The rinsing stations were a definite plus!!
Shawna T — Google review
Love this park and the changes made to the playground. Unfortunately my daughter was able to test the efficacy of the new padding that replaced the sand and sticks under the playground equipment. It passed, she's fine. Looking forward to the upgrade of the shoreline and stage area. (Anyone know a timeline on those?) It would be nice to add a few benches and picnic seating but I understand the omission in order to deter overnight guests. I would also suggest that they keep the lighting that they use during the holidays. It adds a beautiful atmosphere that would be perfect year round. A great place to enjoy a concert in the park, a fireworks display at night and a nice breeze off of the Sound.

Okaloosa National Mini Golf & Ice Cream is a popular destination in Fort Walton Beach, offering two separate 18-hole mini-golf courses and a selection of 23 delicious ice cream flavors. The courses are filled with bumps and turns, providing an exciting challenge for players aiming for that elusive hole in one. After the game, visitors can relax with a soda and choose from 24 flavors of hand-dipped hard ice cream, including favorites like cookies and cream.
FWB mini golf course was fun, little hidden gem. Its family owned and operated, so service was polite and friendly. The courses are nothing fancy but still really beautiful and felt like you were in a garden. If you are vacationing near by you can't go wrong with a quick stop.

The store advertises that they close at 10 pm but yet if you arrive after 9 pm they will not let your children play golf. They are rude about the experience when you have crying upset kids . And the ice cream is $6 and the selection is slim.

We’ve visited several times and always had a great experience, whether playing mini golf or grabbing a treat. This time we came just for ice cream—and it did not disappoint! The shop offers a wide variety of flavors, and the serving sizes are super generous. The staff was friendly as always, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Their well-lit mini golf course is a fun option for all ages, day or night. Definitely a great spot for a casual, family-friendly outing. We’ll be back again soon!

Ice cream was good. We were very disappointed that we were not able to play mini golf. We arrived at 9:00pm to play. We were told that we couldn't play because the golf was closed. But their website says they close at 10pm.

If you're looking for a fun and affordable way to spend an afternoon in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, then I highly recommend Okaloosa National Mini Golf & Ice Cream. This hidden gem is located just off of Santa Rosa Boulevard, and it's the perfect place to cool off on a hot day! The mini golf course is two-tiered, with a variety of obstacles to challenge even the most experienced golfers. There's also a small arcade, so you can play some games while you wait for your turn on the course. But the real star of the show is the ice cream. Okaloosa National has a wide variety of flavors to choose from, including my personal favorite, the chocolate peanut butter swirl. The ice cream is made fresh daily, and it's served in a waffle cone that's perfectly golden brown. After you've played a round of mini golf and indulged in some ice cream, you can relax on the patio and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area. Okaloosa National is a great place to spend a day with family or friends, and I highly recommend it.

Capt Shelly was amazing!!! We booked a 4 hour trip to crab island. We got there she asked if we wanted to snorkel and none of us had, but we figured we would give it a try. She took us to a great spot and my son and I loved it, daughter not so much. She took my daughter to shore and helped her look for shells. Crab island was nice, but snorkeling was amazing…oh the best part was seeing a dolphin within 10 minutes of getting on the boat. Definitely recommend booking with Captain Shelly!!!

Captain Robbie made us feel so comfortable. We had a blast and felt safe. He knew where to anchor away from currents. He knew all the cool places to see as we made our way to crab island. He even radioed a friend and got us to see a dolphin! He was incredibly accommodating to us on the boat and made us feel right at home. He had all the right connections too and was able to get us food and fun things like coconuts drinks. He was very nice, upbeat and relaxed personality while still giving you confidence that he had everything under control. After going to crab island I can see that booking with a captain like Robbie verses renting a boat on our own was 100% the way to go.

He had us covered on everything. He knew where to go. Cruised the marina and stopped for drinks/snacks and toured some beautiful homes in the area and then out to open waters. We were very excited to see several curious dolphin and even sharks and a few turtles. Snorkeled in easy waters with beautiful colored fish and a baby turtle. Then anchored and relaxed in crystal clear crab island water. Capt Robbie was a great host and had all the water equipment. Book with him!! You can't go wrong.. Thanks Capt Robbie for a great trip!!

The nautical-themed tavern offers a full seafood menu with the best oysters in Destin, along with crab claws and cocktails. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating, live music on three stages, and watch sports on a massive jumbotron.
I highly recommend going here for some great food. The portions are humongous so if you go away hungry, you have a problem 😂 Our server was so polite and friendly. She took very good care of us. I had the shrimp Caesar wrap. It was very good and the portion of fries was ridiculously big. Also the sweet tea was outstanding. We will definitely make this a regular stop next time we are in Ft. Walton.

My first time visiting this place and it was very good. They have outdoor seating and live music. The no frills seafood platter is huge and definitely worth it and big portion. Three people can share that plate. The lobster rolls were also amazing jam packed with lobster meat. The food and atmosphere is perfect fit to stop by and enjoy with your family. Peel and eat shrimp and oysters were fresh and tasty. I definitely would recommend and visit on our next vacation trip.

The restaurant is across the street from the Gulf and is nicer on to the outside, the inside is your typical beach shack decor. We were seated quickly but after that the service was kind of slow. The food was good, just overpriced compared to the other beach restaurants in the area. I had the shrimp and grits and they were good would order them again.

Very cool bar with lots of locals. The food is awesome and if I had to put a warning out there, do not over order because the portions are huge, especially the appetizers. The entertainment on 30 August was especially good.

Inland, there are walking trails, a playground, and picnic spots with grills available.
Fantastic Upgrade – A Must-Visit for Families! We visited the newly remodeled Ross Marler Park, and it was a huge upgrade from before! The kids absolutely loved the climbing tower and the zip-line merry-go-round. It’s such a refreshing change from other parks, with its unique decor and variety of activities. Everything felt thoughtfully designed for fun and adventure. Highly recommend this park to anyone with kids—it’s the perfect place to escape and enjoy quality family time!

This is a delightful location for birdwatching and enjoying the natural beauty of the lagoon. Recent changes may have introduced some restrictions on waterfront activities, yet the park still provides a rewarding experience for visitors.
Ubaya M — Google review
My 3 boys, age 3, 11, 13 loved this park. We had a picnic by the bay and they had the best time. Probably the best playground we have been to!
Ashley K — Google review
The best playground area I've seen since moving down here. The playground is huge and shaded. They have bathrooms and picnic pavilions with grills. Swimming area. Fishing dock area. Beautiful. Will be coming back regularly now.
Nadia W — Google review
I long boarded around here and they have a small short area with smooth concrete to walk/bike but it looks like they are building more paths where you might be able to skate. Beautiful place to see a sunset on the water. Has a playground, a few piers, and a boat launch too.

Discovered this little gem after dinner - we will be back for more soon - the play area is quite lovely!

Amazing place! Noticed the cute alligator 🐊 in the big turtle pond now! Nice addition too our already busy area!

Beautiful Bayside park. Large children's playground, plenty of restrooms and Pavillion. You can swim, no life guards on duty. There is also a boat launch. A hidden gem.

I booked the 2 hour Dolphin Jet Ski Tour and it was nothing short of amazing. I've only done one other jet ski tour during a cruise excursion, and THIS tour blew that other one out of the park. David made the your feel comfortable and fun. He provided us with instructions that were easy to follow but the best part was that he gave everyone the autonomy the ride at your own pace so that you feel comfortable. We saw dolphins and sharks near crab island and got to ride into the Harbor and more. You won't regret picking this place. Thank you again David, Bella, and team for the awesome experience!

My family and I had a great time!!! 🤩 They were very accommodating, the broom boat prices were very reasonable in comparison to other places. Trust me I did my research. 😉 We added on the lily pad, basketball hoop, and paddle board, and it was a hit. Everyone was very nice, and the instructions were clear and understandable. When we come back we will be coming here again to rent another pontoon boat. Don’t miss out on a fun time. 🙌🏼 Rhank you for helping us make great memories.

My daughter and I had the best experience with Destiny Water Adventures that we went back for a second day rental! Chance was amazing at providing a run down of pontoon boat operations as well as directions of where to go. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful loading/unloading the boat. And they are pet friendly! We visited all of the islands, had lunch at The Gulf (pet friendly), and made it to Crab Island. What an adventure! We will definitely be back.
Nicole L — Google review
We went on a guided jet ski tour for 1 hour last week. Our experience was nothing less than amazing. Our guides were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Out of many trips to Fort Walton, our kids said this one was the best because of the jet skis. We will definitely return!
Nic — Google review
We were so happy to be able to rent a pontoon, which was totally affordable and awesome for eight hours for 6 people. The place is a little tricky to find but the directions given to us by destiny water adventure made easy work of it. The staff were super friendly and got us in the water asap. They gave a quick run down of the boat for our captains and let us on our way. Plenty of sea life around crab island, we even saw dolphins! All in all a great experience, and we would recommend using destiny water adventures as well as plan to use them if we are ever back.
Anastasia K — Google review
What an awesome day on the water! Our family of six had an absolute blast cruising around the bay, the Gulf, Crab Island, and Okaloosa Island during our trip to Destin, FL. The pontoon boat was super clean, easy to drive, and perfect for a full day of adventure. We loved exploring the clear waters, spotting tons of fish and hermit crabs, and hanging out at Crab Island — such a fun vibe! It was nonstop smiles, swimming, and soaking up the beautiful scenery. Hands down one of the best parts of our vacation! We can’t wait to rent again next time we’re in town!
Laura P — Google review
My wife and I rented a jet ski for 3 hours. We had a blast. Located near lots of fun islands you can beach at and enjoy. We also got the action camera which was a great way to capture our memories. On our trip, we saw 1 dolphin and probably 60 rays. This is now a must on every trip in the future. We'll be back next month!
Austin S — Google review
We did the 2 hours “dolphins on jet skis” tour, and although ww didn’t see a single dolphin on a jet ski 😆😆 we saw lots in the water 😉 They were “up close and personal” we luckily had a couple play around us and come right out of the water. Have your cameras ready the whole time, we filmed video but got more water shots than dolphins, we were so busy watching them play that they go out of shot quickly and all you get is video of the water 😂 We booked and checked in with Astoria, she was very professional and friendly, gave us options on tour days and times. David our guide was knowledgable and personable, he made the tour fun and allowed us to ride the skis however we felt comfortable. My wife and i shared a ski and swapped drivers at crab island. The equipment we used was in great shape almost new! Overall a fantastic experience and would certainly use Destiny again!

Tyler and Jack took us locals out to see dolphins and then we went snorkeling. The weather was perfect and the dolphins were feeding. The guys were great hosts and kept everyone safe. They assisted us when needed. It was a perfect day! Thank you so much! I'd also like to thank Bo from 98.1 Country. ❤️

AMAZING experience! Everyone on staff was SO friendly and accommodating! Very clean facilities and pontoon boat. Knowledgeable captain and 1st mate. Talked about the various sea life we saw and kept everyone safe on the trip! Highly recommend coming here, plus they have an awesome marina shop with snacks, t-shirts, water supplies you ever need! Great price too! We only paid $179 for a three hour dolphin/snorkel excursion for our family of four! We even got to see dolphins!!
Tabitha S — Google review
We had an amazing trip! We saw so many dolphins. The snorkeling was fun. The water was a bit cold but it was forgotten once we started seeing fish. Captain Mike was great and his 1st mate, Bailey was awesome. Would recommend for sure!
Tresha B — Google review
We have been on dolphin tours before but this experience was way better than expected. The clear water made the dolphin sightings absolutely amazing. There were so many dolphins. Captain Mike was so funny and made the trip much more fun. The water was a little cold this time of year but we will definitely be coming back next year.

We had a great time with our booking, check in and excursion! Would recommend for anyone trying to explore the keys and hang out at a sand bar. Bringing your own snacks and beverages was easy. The boat had coolers and plenty of seating for my family of 11. We loved the slides and swimming in the clear water. We asked for recommendations on a captain to navigate us and it was worth every penny! It was windy and Mike was able to get us into a cove to enjoy your day. Will be booking again!

Fantastic experience with the Captain and 1st Mate during our family vacation in Destin. Saw 20+ dolphins, right alongside the boat...Wow! The snorkeling and beach time was very private, relaxing and beautiful. Jumping off the roof into beautiful aqua blue water 🌊 was so much fun for the adults and teenagers! Hope to return soon!

Today was absolute perfection! I spent the morning jet skiing, it was an adrenaline rush like no other. But the real magic happened on our evening sunset boat tour - Derek's expertise and enthusiasm made the experience truly unforgettable. We were lucky enough to spot a ton of dolphins, and the views of the sunset were breathtaking. Derek's knowledge of the area and passion made the whole experience! We had an amazing time and can't wait to do it again :))

Me and my friend, Kaylee, did a Dolphin Tour with Derek as our tour guide. When I tell you this was probably one of the most fun things I’ve done in my life, I really mean it. Derek is what you would call a dolphin whisperer. He is one with the porpoises. But he also know how to keep you safe in the waterways. He was very knowledgeable about the rules and regulations but also knew how to cut loose, have fun, and go fast. 10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back with a bigger group next time!! 🩵☀️🌊🐬

We rented this boat for a family trip to crab Island. Good clean boat ran well. Service was great. Returned with no issues rented it for eight hours. The whole family had a great time and a little too much sun. No fault to the boat. If we have the opportunity in the future will rent from them again.
Michael W — Google review
Captain Sean was amazing! My family and I booked a 6:30 sunset cruise and had a great time. The boat was not overloaded, Sean and Hagen took great care of us. When we got to the dolphin hit spot there were several other boats out that just looked crowed so we were glad ours was thinned out. We saw so many dolphins and Sean got us as close as possible. There was a storm rolling in behind us and he assured us our safety and on our way back we saw another group of dolphins and he made time to stop so we could take pictures of them since we had to leave a little earlier due to the storm. We had a beautiful sunset driving in. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great experience for the entire family! Spencer was friendly and helpful. The pontoon boat was in decent condition (which is to be expected since we arrived an hour after our departure time) 😂 so we got the last available boat. We went to Crab Island and the Jetties to make great memories.

We rented a jet ski for 8 hours on the 4th of July. It was an easy pick-up and drop-off. Be prepared if you rent one for 8 hours you'll have to put gas back in it. We knew that from the beginning so it was no big deal. They cost about 75.00 to fill up. Everyone had a great time, the next day. We found muscles we didn't know we had after riding that thing all day.

Mr. E's Escape Rooms in Fort Walton Beach offers a fantastic indoor activity for families and groups. With a variety of themed rooms to choose from, players are tasked with solving puzzles, finding hidden objects, and deciphering clues to escape before time runs out. The owner is known for being super friendly and accommodating to kids, making the experience enjoyable for all ages. The rooms are designed to be challenging yet not scary, catering to both young children and adults.
When I saw that this place had 416 reviews and they were ALL 5 star I was shocked. You don’t see that often on Google! We loved the pirate room. We played “mard” level meaning we did dares to get clues and that was a fun twist. Polly (Layla) was a great game master. Would recommend!
Jennifer D — Google review
Every year, my son picks an escape room for his birthday—it’s our family tradition! This year, we decided to try Mr. E’s Escape Room, and it was the BEST decision. Hands down, it exceeded all the other escape rooms we’ve done! The experience was incredible—super fun and challenging, and the Pirate Room was decorated perfectly with great attention to detail. The place is very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciate. A big shoutout to the amazing staff member who assisted us—she was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better! We had such a great time and will definitely come back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend Mr. E’s Escape Room for families, friends, or anyone looking for an exciting adventure!
Chastity B — Google review
My family and I had a wonderful time at the escape room. It was my first experience, and the host did an excellent job explaining the process and setting the tone. We chose the Pirate Room, which was not only filled with challenging and creative puzzles but also impressively decorated with great attention to detail, making the experience feel immersive. The electronic elements all worked smoothly and added neat, engaging effects that enhanced the adventure. We’re already looking forward to returning to try the Train Room next! UPDATE: We went back for the Train room experience and it is our new favorite! It was not easy but it was a perfect combination of skills in our group of 5. The rooms are both well decorated and the puzzles were complex for 5 adults (with minimal hints). A great addition to a town that is lacking many options for good clean fun!
Diana L — Google review
This was the 6th escape room and my first at this location. We did the pirate themed room and it was such a good time. The puzzles all worked how they were supposed to and it was a fun plot. It was clear what we were supposed to interact with and what was decorative by using green dots 😉. The puzzles were fun and challenging and our game master was helpful when we were stuck. She made the experience amazing!! Next up is the train later this week!! I highly recommend going here and checking it out for yourself. It would be awesome with a group of friends, family, coworkers, or even strangers.
Victoria M — Google review
My wife and I have done over a dozen different rooms across multiple states and the Train Escape room here was so much fun! The Puzzles were definitely challenging, interactive, and they all worked as intended! And the best part: you get tasty snacks at the end. Our attendant, Heather, was super nice and did a great job giving us our hints If we're ever in Fort Walton again, we're going to come back here!

Last night was the first time I've done an escape room. I went with my family. We had a blast. The lady who ran it (I think the owner) went above and beyond what I would expect from any business. She walked us through the process and offered the perfect clues we needed to get us finished at the proper time. I will be doing the other room soon. I hope she is doing well. Anybody working that hard with such enthusiasm deserves to be successful.
Joe S — Google review
The pirate room was really cool. The props created a welcoming atmosphere with challenging puzzles. We've only been to two other escape rooms but this one really impressed me. I wish I could remember the hostesses name but she was sweet and very helpful.

Absolutely loved our time at the escape room! Our experience was fast-paced and exciting, and the escape room master knew exactly when to help us out and when to let us solve problems. The team there is great at tailoring the experience to your party and they were very knowledgeable; we did the train room but we will do the pirate room next time!

Hank was by far the best rental company I have ever dealt with! We rented 1 of his Pontoons for the day and had a blast. Hands down one of the nicest and accommodating people you would ever meet! Next time we are back in Destin and want a boat rental you can bet we will be calling him right back up! A++++ Service!

We had a wonderful experience renting pontoon boats from Hank! After calling several places for rates and availability, Hank was the only one to have 2 boats available for our large party of 17, at a great rate. He made renting easy, affordable, and fun. The boats were clean, the customer service was superb, and we made memories we will cherish always. Thanks To Hank and his crew, it was the highlight of our vacation!

Anchor Pontoon was wonderful. Hank and his staff were super hospitable. John met us in the parking lot with a cart and brought all of our stuff down to the dock and then proceeded to load everything onto the boat for us. The boat was clean and ran like a charm. The whole process was totally hassle free and the price was lower than the other places that we called. We had a great day on the water and Hank gave us an excellent dinner recommendation upon our return. I would highly recommend renting at Anchor Pontoon for a great experience.

Mr Hank had our rented pontoon boat to us fairly quickly despite our last minute decision to rent one. The rate for the time we got the pontoon was really great. With different thrilling themes in each room, participants must work together to decipher clever clues within a designated time limit. The well-crafted rooms provide an immersive experience where everything around you serves as a clue or interactive element.
We had a great time at this escape room. The game master was super nice and explained everything well. We did the Mummy room and it was cool. The only thing I would suggest is redoing the clue book in the room. It just has wear and tear from so many uses. Easy fix and it wasn’t an issue that affected our experience. We are definitely going back this week to do the other room.

Wish they would have left the building as a restaurant, pizza bar, and Rick's was a great hangout for the locals and snowbirds. Was a real disappointment when we heard Rick's was closed.
Richard G — Google review
Went this week, and was not that impressed. The gamemaster was VERY sweet and helpful. But the establishment was dirty(especially the bathroom), there were spiderwebs and dirt everywhere, and I felt the location was extremely difficult to find. I’ve been to 40 escape rooms, and it just isn’t high on the list by any means.
Shelia W — Google review
Scheduled a birthday event for Mystery Mansion and had a blast with our party of six. The manager called me back right away to give me all the info I needed to book online. When arriving, the downstairs video gaming area is vacant and under construction at this time, so at first, you may not realize the escape rooms upstairs. Lots of laughs though. We solved the puzzle with 14 minutes to spare and loved every minute of it. We will be back for Mummy's Tomb.
Brian E — Google review
As someone who works at an escape room, this is one of the better crafted with everything around you being a clue or something interactive. My group (Winnie Hut Jr.) did both of their rooms and they were both the best crafted rooms I’ve ever seen. Some rooms over do the spiral/number locks but between the two rooms there was a total of 5. Our game master Casey was fantastic and we had a lot of fun. Anyone that enjoys doing escape rooms with out of the box thinking and not a whole lot of spiral or number locks this is the place for you.
Weston C — Google review
Escaped the mummy’s tomb room with family and friends with 6 minutes left and had a great time. The puzzles are challenging but doable. The game master was very nice. We had a great time and will return to do the other room.

We had a blast. Took my adult daughter my teenage son and his friend for his birthday. We chose the Mummy's Tomb. It was difficult but we escaped with the help of our game master Casey. We had four minutes left on the clock. Can't wait the try the Mansion!
Michelle P — Google review
Cheaply done, small, overpriced. We did the mansion room. -Clues were written on cut up post-it notes and taped to a window. -Laminated clue cards falling apart -Poor lighting in areas you need at least some light. -Clues written on objects with ball point pen with bad handwriting. With all that being said we did get out with 8 minutes remaining. So it's not that we were upset we couldn't figure it out.
