Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin is a luxurious 5-star hotel located at the tip of Willingdon Island, offering breathtaking views of Cochin Harbour and the Chinese Fishing nets. The hotel seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern luxury, featuring 5 restaurants, a trendy bar, an outdoor pool, and a top-notch spa. The colonial Victorian architecture combined with contemporary design creates an elegant ambiance.
Excellent property by the sea port with stunning views. The food was top-notch, and once you're in, you won't feel like leaving. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and spent a great time in the pool overlooking the water. The jacuzzi was a highlight, and poolside food and beer service added to the experience. Hospitality was warm and attentive. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views of the water. Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Kerala.
Niv P — Google review
It's a small but really beautiful resort. We stayed in the Heritage Sea View room. I got to see dolphins in the morning from my room. The check-in process was really nice. Their staff is awesome. The complementary boat ride and cultural shows were great. Breakfast buffet was pretty good too. The only thing to point out is that the resort is really far away from the main city.

I stayed at the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa for our anniversary getaway, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The hospitality was truly exceptional—every staff member was so polite and welcoming. The property looks magical at night, beautifully lit and divine when viewed from the houseboat. They went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our pool time and appreciated all the thoughtful details throughout our stay. I would love to visit again and explore other Taj properties as well. Highly recommended!

Dear Taj Malabar Management Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the most splendid stay my wife and I had at the Taj Malabar Hotel and Spa in Kochi. Though we stayed for just one night, the experience left a truly lasting impression on both of us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we immediately felt at home. Elizabeth, who welcomed us upon arrival, is quite simply the most beautiful and gracious person — not just in appearance, but in spirit. Her kind smile and thoughtful manner made our check-in experience so special, and she went above and beyond to share wonderful suggestions on what to see and do around Kochi. Thanks to her advice, we were able to make the most of our short visit and enjoy some local highlights we might otherwise have missed. During our stay, the restaurant team — including Anand, Amal Dev, and Ahilan — were nothing short of exceptional. They were attentive, courteous, and clearly take great pride in what they do. Every interaction felt sincere and personal, and their care and professionalism elevated our dining experience immensely. The food was outstanding, but it was their warmth and hospitality that truly made it memorable. Every corner of the hotel radiates charm and serenity, from the tranquil waterfront views to the beautifully maintained interiors. The overall atmosphere embodies the essence of Taj hospitality — understated luxury, heartfelt service, and genuine care for guests. Even though we were there for just a single night, it felt like a much longer and rejuvenating escape. Please convey our sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire team for making our stay so special. Taj Malabar has left a lasting impression on us, and we look forward to returning again soon for a longer visit. With warmest regards and gratitude, Jaimin and Rakhi Purohit

We had an unforgettable conference at Taj Malabar, Cochin, Willington Island. The hotel's majestic presence, immaculately maintained grounds, and breathtaking views set the tone for a luxurious getaway. The staff's exceptional service was truly remarkable – every interaction was met with warmth, courtesy, and attentiveness. They anticipated our needs, making us feel like royalty. The culinary experience was phenomenal, with an impressive spread of delectable dishes to savor. The hotel's ambiance, from the elegant decor to the serene surroundings, added to the enchantment of our vacation. What struck us most was the attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone seemed dedicated to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfection. Taj Malabar, Cochin, is a masterclass in hospitality, luxury, and comfort. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cochin. The memories of our stay will linger long after we've checked out. Can't wait to return and experience it all again!

Taj Malabar Kochi Restaurant is one of those rare places where everything just comes together beautifully, from the location to the ambience and the food. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s easy to find and perfect for both casual meals and family gatherings. The ambience is warm and inviting, with a touch of coastal charm that instantly relaxes you. The interiors are clean, tastefully done, and reflect the essence of Kerala’s culture and hospitality. The food was the true highlight, authentic, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Every dish, from the Malabar biryani to the seafood specials, carried the rich taste of traditional spices without being overpowering. The portions were generous, and the presentation added a nice touch. A perfect place to experience Kerala’s cuisine in a serene and welcoming setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kochi.

Our recent stay at Taj Malabar Resort in Kerala was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, serenity, and understated elegance. The resort’s tranquil surroundings, coupled with its classic charm, created the perfect setting for a truly memorable family getaway. What made the experience truly special was the deep sense of connection with the people who make this place so extraordinary. It was inspiring to meet members of the team who have dedicated over three decades of their lives to creating moments of joy for guests. A heartfelt thank you to Udayji and Kantaramji for their warmth, grace, and genuine hospitality throughout our stay. A special word of appreciation to Abdulji at the concierge, whose meticulous planning and thoughtful assistance made our travel to Munnar seamless and effortless. His professionalism perfectly reflected the legendary Taj standard of care. Taj Malabar is more than just a beautiful resort — it’s a place where hospitality feels personal, time slows down, and every detail is thoughtfully curated. We leave with full hearts, wonderful memories, and a deep appreciation for the people who make this place truly remarkable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 We had a lovely stay at the Taj Malabar Resort and Spa. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was absolutely scrumptious — definitely one of the highlights of our stay! The only downside is the location — there isn’t much around the property, so you’re quite limited to what’s on-site. Also, the infinity pool and spa, while beautiful, are located adjacent to the main building, which means you have to walk through the reception area (and sometimes past wedding or event guests) in your bathrobe and slippers. It’s not the most comfortable setup. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great service and food — just a few logistical quirks to be aware of.

Le Méridien Kochi is an upscale hotel located in the serene backwaters of Cochin, offering a peaceful retreat just a short drive from the city center and the international airport. The hotel boasts refined rooms and suites with wooden flooring, air conditioning, and comfortable seating areas. Guests can indulge in Asian, Indian, and international cuisine at the two onsite restaurants or enjoy amenities such as a spa, houseboats, yoga classes, and a 3-tiered outdoor swimming pool with stunning views.
I had been to convention centre and restaurant and found both the places good, though both needs renovation as looks dated. Facilities at convention center are perfect and have facilities for conference and exhibitions. The view from behind is of a canal is very nice and peaceful. Bar restaurant at the lobby level has different seating options. The service was good and food upto mark.

Le Meridien Kochi offers spacious, clean rooms and a peaceful, scenic environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing good service throughout the stay. The food is diverse and tasty, with a nice variety of local and international dishes. A bit away from the city center, but overall a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for a quality stay in Kochi.

From the moment we arrived at Le Meridien, the entire front office team made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The host at the entrance greeted us warmly, opened our car doors, and ensured every interaction was smooth and pleasant. From check-in at the front desk, Anitta and Dipti, with their beautiful smile and kind attitude, to every encounter during our stay, every staff member played an excellent role in making us feel valued. We also had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The hostesses, Banoisha and Bansah, were kind, attentive, and resourceful—they even remembered my name and room number, which made us feel especially cared for. Our servers, Summit and Raksh, were always helpful, friendly, and attentive, making each meal a pleasure. Thanks to the dedication and warmth of every team member, our stay was truly memorable. I wholeheartedly give this hotel 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional service and genuine hospitality.

I visited Le Meridien for the 'Aaravam 3.0' event and had a fantastic time. The venue was perfect for the program, with great facilities and a wonderful atmosphere. It was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend this location for events.

Great spot with super ambience, quiet enjoyable mind blowing place. The property is beautifully set by the backwaters with lots of greenery, which gives a very calm and relaxing feel. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive, and the hospitality really stood out. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide spread of both Indian and international options.
Ajumal N — Google review
Had an amazing buffet dinner! Every dish was flavorful and fresh—especially the live counters and desserts. The best part is The DIY dessert counter—mixing up my own ice cream with toppings like chocolate chips, gems, and sauces was super fun.The ambiance was elegant and relaxing. Staff were courteous, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Honestly, I was so stuffed by the end, I couldn’t even try many of the dishes… but they looked absolutely yumm!

Brunton Boatyard - CGH Earth is a sophisticated boutique hotel housed in a Victorian-style building that was once a boatyard. It is conveniently located near the Fort Cochin Waterfront and just a short walk from the Fort Kochi-Vypin Ferry Terminal. The hotel offers 26 spacious rooms and suites adorned with traditional Keralan decor, antique furnishings, and high four-poster beds.
Review of Brunton Boatyard, Fort Kochi • Beautiful historic setting: The hotel is a converted old boatyard, full of character and charm, located close to key sights like the Chinese fishing nets and Princes Street shopping area. • Excellent hospitality: Staff were warm and attentive – special mention to Jasmin (who has the worlds best smile) at the front desk who remembered our room key without needing to ask, even after a short trip out. • Room quality: Rooms are spacious and well appointed, featuring large four-poster beds, lovely-smelling toiletries, robes, and slippers. A strong eco-conscious approach is evident throughout, with recycling initiatives and efforts to reduce plastic and water waste. • Dining highlights: The high tea offering is excellent, with a selection of sweet and savoury options and a choice of tea, coffee, or iced tea. Breakfast had a wide variety, including clear labelling for dietary restrictions. Only minor note – coffee at breakfast could be better. • Facilities and amenities: The pool and gardens are beautifully maintained and create a relaxing atmosphere. The free sunset cruise is also a nice touch. • Noise consideration: The hotel is located next to a busy ferry route, meaning there is some ferry noise during the day. Ear plugs are thoughtfully provided, but light sleepers or those hoping for a lie-in might want to be aware. • Overall experience: A truly memorable stay with lovely service, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommended for those wanting to experience Fort Kochi with style and warmth
Julia M — Google review
The hotel has an excellent location, comfortable rooms, and very good food. We especially enjoyed the cruise experience, and the service provided by Jasmine was really good — attentive and warm, which made us feel well taken care of. That said, there are areas that could be improved. We arrived early in the morning with two kids, and it was raining heavily. Instead of trying to assist us with an early check-in or offering a temporary solution, we were asked to return at 2 pm for the standard check-in. This made the start of our trip quite challenging. A little empathy and flexibility from the staff would have made a big difference. The high tea was enjoyable, though it could have more variety. It would also be helpful to ensure that vegetarian options are clearly available, and that non-vegetarian dishes are either labelled or explained to guests. As a coffee lover, I was hoping for traditional filter coffee, but only espresso was served, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the hotel itself is wonderful with great food and facilities. With a bit more care from the staff and attention to these details, the guest experience could be truly exceptional.

A great 5 star hotel in Fort Kochi. Really good rooms with great service. Reduced one star because toiletries were missing otherwise great service. One perk it's quite close to princess street so lots of cafes close by to explore. Don't miss the evening boating which was a nice pleasant ride.

Amazing stay, great location and walkable to everywhere in fort kochi. Our room was lovely and the hotel was beautiful. Great swimming pool and daily afternoon tea was lovely. What really made it was the staff, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to look after us, thank you!
Emma — Google review
This place has such a good ambiance. The time I visited this amazing hotel, I had a fear of pools. But, the second I got into the green pool, my fears died. The food was amazing. The service was amazing and kind. The room was luxurious. We visited The Brunton Boatyard because was my parents' wedding anniversary that day. The staff were kind enough to arrange a swan blanket, flower petals and a cake. So overall, this place is a must visit.
Ishaan — Google review
Our stay at Brunton Boatyard was truly remarkable. The entire staff's kindness, the luxurious facilities, the numerous complimentary activities, and the quality amenities are just some of the reasons why our days in Fort Kochi felt magical. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to relax and enjoy the best that Kerala has to offer. We also commend CGH Earth for their commitment to sustainability - it is much appreciated by travelers who care about the environment. If you're looking to take that one step further, a suggestion we can make is to offer more vegan options. A dairy-free high tea would be the absolute dream - for us and the environment!
J T — Google review
Great place for a break amidst your busy schedule. Wonderful ambience, tasty food along with the complimentary sunset cruise made a memorable experience for the entire family.Only suggestion I recommend is the need for instant tea and coffee powder and sachet to make a cup of bed tea or coffee to be made easy.. Would definitely recommend,as well as think of going back again and we were infact surprised to see lot of vegetarian options for pure vegetarians like us. Moreover the staff were really friendly and helpful ..
Sindhu H — Google review
Stayed here with my mom and were truly touched by the warmth—from the front desk to the restaurant staff to room service, everyone made us feel cared for. The room was spotless, with a stunning view, and the food options were fantastic. Sadly, we had to cut our stay short due to a state-wide strike. A small gesture—like a meal or voucher—would’ve softened that disappointment. Still, the hospitality left a mark. Would love to return for the full experience someday.

Amritara The Poovath Beach Front Heritage in Fort Kochi, Kerala is a beautifully restored colonial building located on the serene shores of Fort Kochi, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The resort offers luxurious and spacious rooms with traditional Indian decor and modern amenities. It's situated at the heart of Fort Kochi, surrounded by echoes of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonialism. Guests can enjoy sea views from some rooms and take advantage of facilities such as an outdoor pool and a spa.
I recently had the pleasure of visit at the Amritara Heritage Resort in Fort Kochi, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property exudes charm and elegance, beautifully blending heritage architecture with modern comfort. What stood out the most was the food – absolutely superb. meal was a delight, with rich flavors and a thoughtfully curated menu that celebrates local and international cuisine it tasted incredible. The ambience of the resort is equally impressive – calm, cool, and deeply relaxing. Nestled in a peaceful part of Fort Kochi, it offers the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. The serene surroundings and tasteful décor create a sense of quiet luxury. Equally commendable was the service. The staff were exceptionally polite, attentive, and genuinely hospitable everything was seamless. You can tell that the team is well-trained and truly cares about making guests feel comfortable and cared for. In short, Amritara Heritage Resort is a gem in Fort Kochi. The rooms were neat and clean, though a bit compact. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Service was excellent and the staff made the stay very comfortable. The pool was well-maintained and the location was convenient. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the food, both breakfast and dinner were some of the best we have ever had. Truly unforgettable dining experience!

We had a perfect holiday at amritara. The rooms were spacious to accommodate 3 adults/ 2 adults & 2 kids in a room and well maintained. Neat bathrooms. Great service by the team. The pool was of 4ft height max and the kids loved it. The food was perfect, very subtle and perfect taste for both dinner and breakfast. We are definitely going back soon.

I had an incredibly peaceful stay at this property in Fort Kochi. The pool area is the true highlight — serene, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the town. The ambiance is calm and inviting, with lush greenery that adds to the relaxed vibe. The breakfast was a lovely way to start the day — simple, fresh, and satisfying. I especially appreciated the local touches like fresh fruits, and eggs. The setting near the pool made it even more enjoyable, with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Coffee/tea was served hot, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. It’s not a huge spread, but the quality and calm vibe made it perfect. The room itself was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It felt like a little oasis tucked away from the bustle of the city. Housekeeping are there till 4 pm to clean the rooms Just FYI and the hotel have cycles to rent It beside the beach, walking distance Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, rejuvenating getaway in Fort Kochi.

Overall unpleasant stay. Given room below stairs which they call delux room. Contact talking noise and footsteps keeps waking our little kid. Charged 15k for this room. Avoid the hotel and book a better one. Lot of options on kochi

We checked into the Sea view suite at Amritara Poovath Fort Kochi and had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. The colonial bunglow is 380 years old with a view of the promenade and the Arabian Sea. There is no thoroughfare on the road, making it ideal for a good night's rest. Food served at the restaurant is good and the breakfast spread is scrumptious with a lot of options to choose from. Travel to and from the airport is slightly overpriced. Ms. Jia was very cordial and accomodated our requests hospitably. Would definitely recommend the place to fellow travellers for stay in Fort Kochi.

A Perfect Blend of Heritage, Hospitality & Coastal Charm : Staying at Amritara property in Fort Kochi is like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of Kerala’s colonial past — with all the comfort and warmth of modern hospitality. Set in a charming heritage property, the resort immediately captures your attention with its elegant Portuguese-Dutch architectural elements — high wooden ceilings, vintage furniture, traditional verandas, and graceful arches that whisper stories of a bygone era. The property is tastefully restored and maintained, making it a visual treat for lovers of history and architecture. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. Every member of the team — from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff — went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location is another major highlight. Situated in the heart of Fort Kochi, the resort is just a short walk to the beach and close to popular attractions like the Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, and the colorful street art of Princess Street. Everything is easily accessible, making it perfect for leisurely strolls with a camera in hand. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a beach lover, or someone simply looking to unwind in a place with character and soul, Amritara Heritage Beach Resort offers the ideal stay. Comfortable, atmospheric, and staffed by genuinely kind people, it’s a place that leaves you with beautiful memories of Kochi.

Amritara’s hospitality is next level. The hotel itself is gorgeous- wooden rafters, simple architecture, limited rooms and a lovely verandah overlooking the Arabian Sea. The staff were attentive, proactive in assisting and the overall service was great. If you’re polite and are here for a special occasion, they may give you a free room upgrade.

My husband and I completed our trip to India staying here at the Fern Resort. (Recently purchased from The Trident). Overall this is an incredible property with luxurious surroundings from the lobby to the pool area. Beautiful plants and well maintained gardens and fish ponds! A feast for the eyes!! But what is most notable about this resort is the hotel staff ready and eager to attend to your every need. Definitely worth a stay at this gem!!

Hotel ISN'T TRIDENT, it's Fern ecotel. Nothing here is of trident quality. From check in itself, one can feel the drop in quality of everything from staff training, furniture in the lobby, etc. it's a very old property with old rooms and amenities. Bedding was completely worn out but still clean. The corridor carpet, doors, etc are so old and discolored now. I got overcharged booking under trident, instead of fern. The management did offer complimentary breakfast for this, but couldn't address why I was overcharged for a substandard hotel. The pool area and garden is good, that's the only positive about this place. Won't recommend unless rooms are completely re done. Location doesn't have much nearby. Fort kochi is 25 mins drive and city side is 20.

Good service, courteous staff. I was feeling ill, they even helped arrange some medicines. Allowed to check in fast without any fuss and served meal quickly. Food was delicious 😋. Highly recommended. On the phone as well the staff was courteous. Being close to harbour. This place is the ideal to stay for a night if you gotta catch your ship the next day

Loved the property. The environment over there is so peaceful and calming that I won't be able to express in words. The place is full of greenery. You also get pool in the property for relaxation and leisure time. The food is amazing there and the service that you get is too good. Overall loved the whole stay.

Now called The Fern....nice place to stay though you need a vehicle at all times as out of city bounds. Water Metro Station is just 1 km away. Restaurant service needs to improve else great place.
Rohit J — Google review
I stayed at this property for over 30 days, and honestly, the experience was quite disappointing. The rooms are extremely basic, food options are very limited and repetitive. The same menu is served day after day with hardly any variation, which becomes monotonous, especially during a long stay. The front desk staff need serious training in hospitality and communication. Expect ZERO flexibility or effort to accommodate any requests. Overall, the property is average at best.

I recently stayed at Trident Cochin on August 2 to celebrate my daughter Ava's 4th birthday with my family and parents. It was an exceptional experience and a truly wonderful stay. The ambiance was delightful, and the staff were outstanding—well-behaved, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time. Although it wasn't a formal function, just a simple cake cutting in our room with my parents and no other guests, the staff helped us decorate the room beautifully, adding a special touch to our celebration. Breakfast was delicious, and all the team members on duty that day were incredibly polite and helpful. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Trident Cochin. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

Nestled between the vibrant Arabian Sea and serene backwaters, Sea Lagoon Health Resort in Cherai offers a picturesque escape that captivates every visitor. This informal resort boasts luxurious interiors inspired by traditional Kerala architecture, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation. Guests can indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments, take a dip in one of the two outdoor pools, or savor delightful meals at the on-site café and restaurants while enjoying stunning water views.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea Lagoon, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were guided to a beautifully clean and well-appointed room with a stunning view of the sea. The ambiance of Sea Lagoon is serene and relaxing — perfect for a peaceful getaway. The blend of natural beauty and thoughtful architecture makes it a truly picturesque spot. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying breakfast by the water was a daily highlight. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes. Every meal felt freshly prepared and full of flavor. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding! Overall, Sea Lagoon experience was totally unforgettable.
Vipin M — Google review
Great place but horrible management. The location of this spot is great. It is between the sea and backwaters. The place looks exactly like it is advertised. Under different management this place would have definitely have got a 5 star. Few note worthy misses: - No Hot water : They tried to fix it - didn't work - No AC : Very faint. The AC gas is probably gone - time to fill it probably - You are the valet here : In the morning when there was another car obstructing my car, neither the security guard nor the reception guy wanted to move the other car. They gave the key and said good luck. Not what you expect at this price. - Dinner ( this I feel might be an exemption since it's too big a blunder for management not to fix ): Took 2 hours to get rice and fish curry. Very friendly waiter however. If not for him, this wouldn't have gone well with most folks Advice for management: You've got great staff, you've got great location and product. Good management will go a long way.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Lagoon Health Resort. The property is beautiful, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with great views and all the necessary amenities. A special mention to Rehman, whose service truly stood out. He was extremely attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our group had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From check-in to dining assistance, his hospitality made a big difference during our stay. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Cherai. Exceptional service and a memorable experience overall! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sea Lagoon is truly one of a kind — uniquely nestled between the sea on one side and the serene backwaters on the other. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful layout: the dining area, pool, and charming living spaces all open up to the calming view of the backwaters. Although the resort doesn’t cover a vast area, every inch of the available space is beautifully maintained and tastefully designed. The food was consistently good, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a peaceful getaway that offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing, scenic escape.

The SeaLagoon offers a beautiful blend of old-world charm and modern comfort, all set against the stunning backdrop of the sea. A memorable getaway that combines peace, tradition, and nature. We had great fun at the swimming pool — it was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both relaxation and play. Ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking to enjoy a laid-back vacation with warm hospitality and scenic beauty.
Diya M — Google review
We were a group of 50 and had a memorable family get together at Sea Lagoon. We took around 18 rooms and the experience here was amazing. Food was also good and service they offered was excellent. Initially we thought the overall cost was on a higher side, but finally we felt the price is worth the experience. Beach is just opposite and have to cross a road, but is kind of a private beach. Good experience!!

The stay at fragrant nature was a delight. This restaurant has amazing service which have I never experienced before. Clean/spacious rooms and the best part is the welcome drink as soon as you reach the hotel, isn’t that so warming. The rooms gave a great view to the sea . Comfortable bed, washrooms clean and sparkling. I staff was just so warm and dint mind clicking my photos no matter how many times I asked them. The breakfast is incredible also lunch and dinner. This hotel has a wonderful rooftop pool that’s well maintained, a bar and library as well. Do book a stay without hesitation if in Kochi without any hesitations.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fragrant Nature in Kochi. From the moment I arrived, the warm and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. The staff are truly outstanding – always smiling, attentive, and going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their friendliness and professionalism really stood out and made my stay unforgettable. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail in every corner. The fresh, inviting atmosphere and the neatness of the entire property made it a joy to stay here. A big thank you to the entire Fragrant Nature team for such a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone visiting Kochi!
Nithin G — Google review
Life, my friend, is not only about walls and furniture, but about the spirit that fills them. Fragrance Nature Hotel in Kochi is, by its building and comforts, a modest three star place. the rooms show their age, the finish is simple, and no one will mistake it for a palace. Yet, stars are not given by plaster or polish alone. They are earned by the people who breathe life into a house. And here, the people shine. The front desk staff, they are more than clerks behind a counter. They are hosts in the truest sense: warm, patient, always ready to help with directions, arrangements, or just a smile when you return weary from the city. Their dedication is the quiet heartbeat of the hotel. The breakfast buffet, too, deserves its own applause, flavorful, generous, the kind of morning table that makes you linger a little longer with your coffee, thinking of how good life tastes when shared with care. Fragrance Nature is, on paper, a three star hotel. But the human spirit here, the service, the kindness, the pride of those who work within its walls, they lift it higher. For that, with gratitude, I give it four stars.

I had a great relaxing experience staying at Fragrant Nature Kochi. Very very aesthetically designed with great decor and beautiful color schemes for the building as well as doors and windows. The hotel was everything I was expecting it to be. It was very clean, rooms were spacious and staff super polite prompt and helpful. A special mention to Shalini who was very helpful during our stay. The hotel has a cozy little bar on the first floor which I enjoyed every evening during my stay. I was with my family and my kids loved the roof top swimming pool. Unfortunately the rooftop restaurant was closed because of rains. I wish I had spent one evening there as it was charming. If I ever come back to Kochi Fragrant nature will be my stay. I really liked every second I spent there

Fragrant Nature, Kochi is an amazing hotel (home away from home) for any traveller. I spent 3 days at the hotel with my parents and son. The hospitality, service, food, and amenities are splendid. Experience the unique charm of Club Mahindra Resort Cherai Kochi, where you can start your day with a delightful breakfast while watching dancing fish and admiring Chinese fishing nets. This beach resort in Kochi offers safe and enjoyable activities for families, including bike rides and sea surfing. The rooms feature comfortable king-sized beds, tea/coffee makers, TVs, and well-appointed bathrooms. With stunning views of the coastline, this resort is an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway by the beach.
A beautiful resort with a serene atmosphere and peaceful environment. The location is excellent, set on the banks of a river and close to the sea, making it perfect for a calm staycation. Accommodation is comfortable and well-kept. Food, however, is average, so if you are particular about meals, better options are available outside. The resort also offers paid activities like kayaking and cycling, which add to the experience. Overall, a wonderful place for relaxation, but not the best choice if food is your main priority. Food options are average. But the quality in whatever food available is excellent.

It's located in a serene beauty of nature. The atmosphere is quite and calm for a peaceful staycation. Service folks are awesome, they deserve an appreciation. Just like any other Club Mahindra resorts, they provides minimum guarantee services and amenities. Overall it's a good place to choose for a wonderful getaway from the city..3.5 out of 5.

Stayed there few times before. This time got a studio unit. These units are directly facing the back waters. In the morning sitting out sipping tea and watching the fisher boats moving and catching fish is a soothing experience. The beauty of this place is that one side of the property is Arabian sea and the other back waters. It has a big central pond with paved pathways around. Units are placed around the central lawned area / pond. The open low rise concept is worth experiencing. Front office is near the entrance. Restaurant behind the pool. Though small there is provision for extending it to the adjoining structure. Overall a nice place to relax.

Everything about the property is perfect and best. From delicious food to the best ambience of the property. Rooms are pretty clean and neat. We had a good swim and played catch ball too. It was fun. There are many things to do. Indoor games to boating, to evening stroll near the property by the Cherai beach which is just opposite. You can have light snack in near by places, there are pretty good cafés. And one of the best spa I have ever had. Ayurvedic spa. Everyone must try this. Perfect place for relaxing vacation. Food is delicious too. You can take a buffet meal package which is reasonable for couple

Our stay 13/09/25-15/09/25 We had a wonderful two-night stay at Club Mahindra, and it was a truly pleasant experience for our family. The resort is beautifully maintained with lots of greenery, soothing and relaxing during the day, and calming at night. The location is lovely, right on the shore of the beach, and very easily accessible. What stood out the most was the warmth and kindness of the staff. From the moment we checked in, Anushri at the reception made us feel welcome and ensured smooth check-in and check-out. During our dining experiences, Chef Motilal was extremely kind, personally interacting with us during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which made us feel special. Sujitha, Akhil, Arya, and Vivek were also very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Anushri again for her thoughtful support at check-out when we misplaced a toy, she immediately arranged for room service to check before we left, which we truly appreciated. Our kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool and spent hours happily playing there. The Happy Hub was also a wonderful space where my son and father spent quality time together. The food was another highlight. We loved the fish curry, tawa fish fry, kappa with chilli onion chutney, and paal payasam, all were delicious and gave us a taste of authentic local flavors. Overall, everything from service to facilities was excellent, and we carried back beautiful memories from our stay. Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable holiday experience.

Everything was fine with the hotel. The rooms were smaller than expected. once we kept our three bags, there was hardly any space left. However, the cleanliness and staff service were good. The only issue we faced was after our 3 day stay. Once we checked out, we had around 3 hours before our train. We requested a room just for 15 minutes so my wife could change before heading to the railway station, but they didn’t allow it. Usually, other hotels are considerate and at least offer a room bathroom for a quick freshen up.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. The dining experience, in particular, was exceptional, largely thanks to Mr. Manuraj, the Food & Dining Manager. Stayed at Ginger Hotel, MG Road Kochi recently. The location is undoubtedly one of the biggest positives — just a few meters from MG Road and right next to Centre Square Mall. Very convenient, and they have ample parking which is a big plus in this area. The food served was also quite decent, nothing extraordinary but satisfying. However, the room maintenance left a lot to be desired. The overall condition of the room seemed quite worn out, and the linens had visible stain marks which was quite off-putting and made me feel awkward during the stay. For a brand like Ginger and at a tariff of around ₹4,000 per night, I expected a lot more in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. Overall, just a decent hotel — great location and average experience. But not quite the standard I anticipated from a reputed name like Ginger.
Jitu J — Google review
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not pleasant. The staff seemed uninterested and unapproachable, and there was a noticeable lack of warmth in their interactions. It would have been nice to see more friendliness and responsiveness from them. I hope they work on improving their hospitality in the future.

The Le Colonial 1506 is a luxury boutique hotel located in Fort Cochin, Kerala. It has large and beautiful rooms with exceptional service, great food and an outdoor swimming pool. The atmosphere is a bit faulty towers boss seems to do every job but the place is wonderful.
I’m surprised this is listed as a 3 star hotel - Maybe because it is sortof like a fancy bed and breakfast? The service, kindness and delicious food made our stay unbeatable and above its class. The staff went above and beyond daily to help our family have a comfortable stay. The place was kept in immaculate condition and the rooms are stunning, decorated with antique furnishings.

This is an old, historic building in the middle of Fort Kochi with access to quality restaurants nearby. I have no critiques of the experience here. The room, staff, and food were all top notch. Looking forward to returning in the future.
Mike E — Google review
Excellent stay at a perfect location to see Cochin’s main attractions. The rooms were very clean, and there’s a lot of history about the hotel going a long way back. The staff did their best to make it feel more like home and less like a hotel, and would definitely take their recommendations for the city tour (Johnson is a great guide!).
Odysseas M — Google review
Our stay at Le Colonial was wonderful in every respect! The warm hospitality of the staff was evident before we even arrived. We felt that the staff genuinely cared about us enjoying our stay and went above and beyond what we would expect from a luxury hotel, for example when we asked for a last minute change of dates; nothing was too much hussle and our requests were always met with kindness and a smile. Beyond the hospitality, the hotel and its garden are an oasis in the bustling Fort Kochi. Both are beautifully maintained and the building’s rich history and culture are palpable throughout. Each of the rooms has its own unique character and lots of attention to detail, for example in the gorgeous patterned robes, the delicate infusers and the home baked biscuits. The hotel is also quite literally at the doorstep of some of Fort Kochi’s main attractions. A big highlight of our stay at Le Colonial was the food. While other guest reviews have commented on the relatively limited selection compared to a conventional buffet, we found that this meant that each and every dish of breakfast and dinner was carefully prepared and tasted absolutely delicious! The coconut ice cream that we had read about is simply a must try. Overall our stay at Le Colonial was more wonderful than we would have expected. We are looking forward to coming back to this small piece of paradise and would highly recommend Le Colonial to anyone looking for a luxury stay with personality!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 or so nights just a few weeks back - while it was a good experience I have given it only 4 stars and have provided the following comments: - This was a very expensive hotel to stay in and not sure it was worth the price. Not because it wasn’t good but it wasn’t exceptional like some hotels I’ve stayed in with similar pricing in India. - It is a very small charming boutique hotel and the history within this hotel is undeniably incredible. It has been maintained well with beautiful decor and photographs on the walls. - We actually booked a smaller room but were given a free upgrade to a larger, better room with a generous private outdoor verandah looking over the pool. We were grateful for this. - The service was good; we really enjoyed the conversations we shared with one of the staff members, Sumesh. He is a real character but lovely man. I also had come down with food poisoning on the car drive from the airport to the hotel, my husband phoned the hotel ahead to arrange for a doctor. The staff were very accommodating and got me to the room straight away so I could rest while I waited for the doctor. They also checked on me the next day. - The breakfasts were really great however we were not informed of any breakfast options as there is no menu. For the first breakfast we were served fruit first and then the wait staff proceeded to ask us how we would like our eggs (as if this was the only option), because of my stomach I just requested toast with jam and no eggs. For the subsequent days we continued to have fruit and then eggs on toast. It wasn’t until a few days later that we saw other guests have different meals and we queried this, the staff then apologetically advised there were other options such as local meals that we would have to request the day before so the chef could prepare. On the last day I tried a local dish for breakfast called Appam which was so delicious, highly recommend! I wish we were informed of the options earlier. A small menu would go a long way in ensuring all guests had the correct info from the beginning of their stay! - We had a hotel dinner one night during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef catered to my dietary requirements. While the dinner is somewhat expensive for India, the quality and quantity ensures you absolutely get your moneys worth. It was so delicious and fresh. Very impressed and wish I could eat this food again! - There were a lot of mosquitoes and I think more measures could be in place to ensure the rooms were free of mosquitoes like nets around the bed, covering the gaps below the balcony doors with a cushion etc. The staff do perform a turn down service which involves using some sprays etc to remove the bugs as best they can before sleeping however we continuously found ourselves tossing and waving about at night to shoo the bugs away -we got bitten a few times on the face. These mosquitos are no joke. It does detract from the experience! I also noticed in the inside communal areas of the hotel, you can’t really sit down on the couch as there are insane amounts of mosquitoes hiding behind the cushions and when you go to sit down, they fly all around you 😅 Overall, good experience but not exceptional given the hefty price!

we had very bad experience with this hotel. We have booked on the 12th of September for the 19th of September for 2 days, and had to cancel it on the 15th of September, mainly 4 days before arriving, because of the Nipah virus news in Kerala and go back to our main international airport in Mumbai. They basically did not care about this, said the virus was not in their town and actually it is only 120km away. After several attempts to get our monday back, they stopped answering to your emails. I understand why they do not accept all credit cards, because they want to keep the customer´s money in any case. Very bad policy, don´t recommend this hotel at all.

This property has major payment issues. They don't seem to accept AMEX, and local Indian cards don't seem to work. Don't book this property if you want a stress free relaxed vacation. There is also some Singapore team behind this property that manages reservations, and the poor manager here is not empowered to take decisions. Two of my credit cards have been swiped multiple times over to no payment confirmation - extremely weird and shady. Don't book unless it's a cash transaction, and unless it's directly with the property. Also, at a time when all of Fort Kochi is bustling with people, there are no takers for this property which also goes to show that there's something wrong here. Not sure what the matter is. Not impressed. Significantly better properties around. They don't turn on the fan, it's sweltering hot inside. The lights are off. The price doesn't speak to the quality - there's apparently some bell that has to be rung to summon the manager. But nobody told me about the bell. Had to go out and ask the guard if anyone was even in, and then the guard showed me to ring the bell. It's just one of the many weird instances of below-expected service standards.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely outstanding! The rooms were spacious, elegant, and equipped with everything I needed for comfort. The reception was warm and professional, and the staff’s hospitality made me feel truly at home. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout, from the rooms to the public areas. The spa experience was exceptional, relaxing, and luxurious in every detail. It truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return again with my children, but I hope to see a well-planned and exciting kids’ program in the hotel so we can all enjoy our stay without the need to go out to the mall.

Absolutely amazing stay! The hotel offers top-notch comfort and service from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. The food was excellent, and the overall ambiance was luxurious yet welcoming. Truly a five-star experience in every way — would love to stay here again!

The rooms were excellent—clean, new, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The views from both sides were fantastic. The food was exquisite, truly delicious. However, I felt the service could be improved. It seemed the staff were not fully coordinated in their efforts. With a bit more attention to service consistency, this hotel could easily earn a 5-star rating from me. They’re not far off, but there’s room for improvement.

You should stay here. Amazing hotel. Super clean and luxurious. The buffet was great and had so many local specialties to try. We also did the houseboat which was a great experience. Incredibly nice gym as well.

Faizal, the Reception Manager, was incredibly supportive and helped us with a smooth room upgrade. The staff who assisted us to the room were also very polite and professional. Dinner was excellent — especially the chicken roast! Breakfast was also good, though the spread could be slightly improved. One note: according to the TV technician, top-end phones like Pixel and iPhone can’t currently mirror to the TV, which could be a small upgrade point for the future. Overall, it was a wonderful stay — peaceful, luxurious, and truly memorable. Highly recommended! 🌅✨

Amazing experience. Booked a view room where we could perfectly see the best view. Luxurious rooms and the bathroom is also fancy. Big rooms with higher ceilings that usual. Food was also great. Only complaint is the price but I understand it at this level. Would definitely recommend if you can afford!!

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kochi!

A lovely, majestic property located on the Bolgatty island, with views to match. Elaborate breakfasts every single day. No two days have the same menu, I'm told. I stick to the live counters. Podi dosa, appam and fresh coconut milk are my weakness 😋 Excellent service with a smile is all I need for an excellent start to my day.

The Kochi Marriott Hotel offers a seamless blend of convenience and modern style, ideally located on the campus of LuLu Mall near the vibrant IT district. The hotel features sleek quarters with plush pillowtop bedding, marble bathrooms, and 24-hour room service. With three dining options, a spa, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center, it provides all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Additionally, its proximity to popular landmarks and attractions makes it an ideal choice for travelers.
My stay at Kochi Marriott was truly memorable. While the hotel leans more towards a business vibe, it offers everything you’d expect from a top-class property. The amenities are excellent – the spa was absolutely relaxing and well-managed, the gym is modern and well-equipped, and the shisha lounge offered a great ambiance to unwind in the evenings. I also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast spread at the restaurant – everything was fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented, making mornings a delight. What stood out most was the hospitality of the staff – always warm, attentive, and ready to go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. The location is another plus point, being right next to Lulu Shopping Mall, which adds to the convenience. Overall, I loved my stay here. It’s perfect for business travelers and those who want a comfortable city stay with top-notch amenities, though I’d say it may not be the first choice for a relaxed holiday resort vibe.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed with all modern amenities, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. I had a wonderful stay at Kochi Marriott Hotel. The location is perfect—right next to Lulu Mall with a convenient buggy service that makes shopping and dining very easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety. The staff were incredibly kind and professional. My daughter accidentally left the room key and some cash in the locker, and the team promptly returned everything safely to my friend. Their honesty and helpfulness truly impressed us. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would happily stay here again.

The food at the restaurant was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, which really added to the overall experience. Overall, the combination of a generous suite upgrade, amazing food, and outstanding service made my stay at the Kochi Marriott Hotel a memorable one. I would be happy to return on my next visit.

I had gone for our society academic meeting recently . Excellent ambience and boardroom. Dinner was Indian food and excellent. As I am allergic to chilly I asked for a separate curry . The cook prepared a curry and brought it himself. The fish curry was very delicious and made my evening enjoyable. Things like this make a great difference. My thanks and appreciation to the cook. The restaurant at Marriot Kochi is highly recommended.

In the middle of the city behind Lulu Mall,in the same complex. The entry and exit to the area is bad as lulu Mall traffic also gets combined. The reception was prompt, rooms are perfect business hotel feel. All the amenities in the room were par excellence. The all day dinning restaurant serves excellent breakfast, with vast food options. The crew at the restaurant was the best I have seen, very cooperative and attentive. Lobby area is usually very crowded and so less seating options.

The rooms are very thoughtfully made. Majorly all toiletries and set up are taken care in the room . The view is good. It’s a high raise building. Rooms are well-equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen satellite TV, electric kettle, and minibar. Additionally, the hotel boasts an outdoor pool and a pastry shop on-site.
Currently staying at Renaissance Cochin, and I must say—this visit to Kochi has been nothing short of extraordinary. The hospitality here has truly elevated the experience. A special shout-out to the remarkable staff, especially Nancy, who went above and beyond in making my stay comfortable. As someone who’s lactose intolerant, I had requested almond milk. Although the hotel didn’t stock it initially, Nancy personally ensured it was arranged for me. That level of thoughtfulness and dedication is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you, Nancy, for being a gracious host and for showcasing what true hospitality looks like.

Located in Wellington Island, Kochi, the Casino Hotel, CGH Earth is an upscale property offering a serene and elegant stay. The hotel features relaxed rooms and suites, two restaurants, an Ayurveda spa, and a cozy bar. It is known for its heritage and elegance with friendly and helpful staff providing warm hospitality. The Harbour Lounge is ideal for hosting parties or boardroom meetings. Guests can enjoy excellent food and courteous service while admiring animal figures made with towels by the attentive staff.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights, and on our last day, we had dinner at the Fort Kochi Seafood Speciality Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the dining experience was wonderful. A colleague named Athira stood out for her attentiveness and professionalism truly impressive service. As someone from the hotel industry myself, I would rate her service as exceptional. We also visited the Vasco da Gama bar, where the ambiance was nice, although the service was a bit slow. Housekeeping was another highlight of our stay. The attendant, Irfan, was exceptionally attentive and delivered service with great care and professionalism. Overall, a memorable and satisfying experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a super comfortable stay at Casino Hotel! The vibe is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Rooms are clean, spacious, and have that classic charm with a modern touch. The staff is really friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Loved the food — especially the seafood! The restaurant serves some amazing Kerala-style dishes. The pool area is peaceful, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. It’s a great base if you want to explore Kochi but also unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely come back again. Perfect mix of comfort, culture, and good vibes! 🌴✨

We enjoyed our stay at Casino Hotel, Willingdon Island, with family, with their Full Board plan. The culinary experience was exceptional—each dish carried a distinct touch of tradition, a legacy they’ve preserved beautifully over the years. The property offers good hosting options, including the option to reserve their entire Bar for private functions. Their poolside wedding reception setup is especially impressive for memorable celebrations. A perfect blend of heritage hospitality and thoughtful amenities..

I stayed with a couple of my friends. They serve very delicious food particularly seafood. Facilities are good. The washroom does not have a wet and dry area. The service is very good. Location wise not a very ideal choice as it is in Willingdon Island, which is a bit far away from the city. Ideal place to just chill and relax.

I had the opportunity to attend a event hosted at Casino Hotel, and from the moment I stepped in—drenched in heavy rain—I felt something truly rare. It began with a simple, heartwarming gesture: the security guard came rushing with an umbrella, shielding me with such genuine care. That small act set the tone for everything that followed. What stood out was not just the professionalism, but the soul behind their hospitality. Every interaction—be it the front desk, the banquet team, or the restaurant staff—felt sincere and warm, not staged. The lunch buffet was incredibly tempting, offering a wonderful spread of traditional Kerala flavours, just the way I like it. I was delighted to find some of my favourites on the menu, and to top it all off, their signature citron chocolate decadence left a lasting impression with its unique and memorable taste. Casino Hotel is not just a place to stay—it’s a place that makes you feel cared for. Now I truly understand why CGH Earth continues to grow and earn such admiration in the world of responsible and meaningful hospitality.

Had a great stay at Casino Hotel - CGH Earth, Kochi. One of the oldest hotels in the city, and it still has that old-world charm. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the food at both the seafood and Tharavaad restaurants. Staff were super friendly and made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend!
Dinesh K — Google review
We recently stayed at Casino Hotel, CGH Earth as a family — myself, my wife (a doctor), and our three young kids (5 yrs, 2 yrs, and 10 months). While the staff was polite and the atmosphere calm, several aspects of the stay fell short of expectations for a 5-star property. We reached around 6 PM, but the pool closes at 7 PM, giving us almost no time to use it. With a busy schedule and check-in delays due to work, the early 11 AM checkout the next day left no flexibility for families like ours. The room was basic and didn’t quite reflect a premium 5-star setup. One major discomfort was the lack of privacy in layout — all guests, including those returning from the pool, had to walk through the main reception area to reach the pool or the restaurant, which felt uncomfortable, especially with women and children. We were also disappointed to find that the Vasco da Gama bar was non-functional during our stay — it was rented out for a private external event. As in-house guests, we expected all facilities to be available. Instead, everything was moved to the Tharavadu restaurant, which disrupted the regular experience. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet lunch and dinner packages, which had a great variety and were definitely worth the price. However, the complimentary breakfast was underwhelming, with very limited live counters and choices. While the CGH Earth brand ambience and staff were good, we genuinely hope they improve layout privacy, offer more flexible timing for families, and ensure all guest amenities are available as promised.

Nestled in the picturesque Cherai Beach, Cherai Beach Resorts is a popular choice for travelers seeking a family-friendly atmosphere and an array of amenities. The resort offers comfortable guest rooms equipped with modern conveniences such as flat-screen TVs and complimentary internet access. Surrounded by lush greenery and meandering lagoons, the resort provides an elegant retreat with top-notch hospitality. With direct beach access to the Arabian Sea and backwaters, guests can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Cherai beach resort was an amazing experience. We book for one day. We have booked like Doctors Villa premium. The room was quite spacious and everything was working. Toilets are really nice. All the amenities were quite good. The pool were clean. We ordered the food from restaurant. We try some good sea food. And this resort have a wide space to go around. Peaceful area for everyone. The beach was just infront of this resort.
Binto B — Google review
The place is located in a very catchy place in Cherai beach. They have plenty of parking. The reception could be more professional. The place is getting renovated as itnlooks like impacted byflood. But rooms are near and tidy. The walkway and premises need to be improved. The villas are giving total privacy. A better place to get away from daily chores.
Jijoraj A — Google review
I stayed at Cherai Beach Resort with two friends. The staffs were friendly and the ambiance was nice. It’s a villa-type property and the rooms were quite spacious, but the overall maintenance was very poor. Though we were upgraded to a premium villa at check-in, the mattress and quilt were horrible, causing itching throughout the night. The bed was uncomfortable, the sofa seat wasn’t fitted properly, and the shower didn’t work well. We didn’t even feel like using the swimming pool. The breakfast menu was also very limited. The location and spacious villas have good potential, but without proper upkeep, the stay doesn’t feel worth it.
Sruthi K — Google review
Aging resort. Hold stories of its past. Worth the getaway for a quiet break at Cherai away from the busy life. Food is ok, nothing to get excited about. Menu is limited. Food takes 20-25 min post order to be served. Hospitality impeccable. Each and every staff does their utmost to make our stay memorable. Aging swimming pool. We did not engage. Direct access point to see the wild waves of the beach right in front of the Resort. Good point for photography and idling.
Varun B — Google review
The location is absolutely fabulous, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. We stayed in a spacious duplex villa, which was comfortable and had great potential. However, the property does require better maintenance. With proper upkeep, this place could truly be a gem. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and hope to see improvements on our next visit.
Shabeer K — Google review
I recently stayed at the resort and have mixed feelings about the experience. The property itself is quite old and could definitely benefit from better maintenance and some renovations. Certain areas show signs of wear and tear, and the facilities are not as modern or well-kept as one might expect. However, what truly stands out is the resort's location — it's absolutely beautiful and offers a peaceful, scenic environment that's perfect for relaxation. Additionally, the staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made the stay much more pleasant. Overall, while the resort could use some upgrades in terms of upkeep, the excellent service and lovely location do help balance the experience.
Shikha V — Google review
Please avoid this resort. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff with poor customer service. The room facilities are not working properly, and the pathway is dangerously slippery. There is no health and safety. When we raised concerns, they simply told us to take a refund and leave if we weren’t happy. I called the reception to report that the fan wasn’t working, no one showed up. One of our friends got wet and needed to change clothes, but they made a big issue out of it. Such inhumane and insensitive behaviour. This place is nothing like the pictures, badly maintained, poor facilities, and a complete disappointment. Not recommended at all.
Binuja M — Google review
Many of the washrooms feature semi-open roofs and blurred doors, which despite aiming to enhance aesthetic appeal, result in a level of visibility that can make users feel uncomfortable. While the intention may have been to incorporate modern design elements, the layout and transparency compromise privacy, leading to an awkward experience. Additionally, upon our arrival, it was raining, and the overall cleanliness of the area was compromised. To improve the visitor experience, it would be beneficial to implement measures that ensure the space remains tidy and well-maintained, even during the rainy season.

We had a very pleasant stay, though it was just for one night. The rooms were neat and well-maintained, and the staff’s behavior was extremely courteous. It truly felt like a perfect weekend getaway spot. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including kayaking, pedal boating, and fishing. A complimentary 45-minute to 1-hour boat ride through the backwaters was also provided, which was both relaxing and refreshing. The only area that could improve is the food—it wasn’t quite up to the mark. Apart from that, everything else was wonderful. The place is gorgeous, peaceful, and absolutely Instagram-worthy.

The staff gives a warm welcome once you arrive, and they even take care of sending your bags straight to your room. Inside, the views are beautiful, and the whole place is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is tasty. The hospitality and service are top-notch — everyone is super polite and helpful throughout the stay. **Overall:** A great place to relax and enjoy with your loved ones. Location is beautiful and eye catching with good ambience. Service also good. Staffs are available all the time. The room, the bathroom are spacious. But the doors, the key holes were not working good. The latches of the door were very tight. We got locked in the room after closing the latch. Nice place spend a day. Property is not properly maintained ad we were informed some renovation work is in progress. The available facilities were very good. We could find the lack of maintanance in many areas. Rooms are spacious and neat. Moslty it is desinged in traditional Kerala style. You can also opt for staying in floating cottages or traditional Kerala house. That would ve a great experience. The food was just avarage. If you do fishing in the pond, and catch some fish, you can ask them to prepare the same for your lunch. But it is chargable. We felt like it is little bit constly.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and food tasted good. They also serve complimentary chai and pakoras in the evening, which is a plus. A lot of open green spaces in the property which provide a good hangout space with family. Staff is courteous and prompt. There is a house boat ride available early morning and evening. A small sports room has a pool and TT table. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for a warm comfy stay in Alleppey.

This is an over-rated resort for sure. 5 Start resort with just 3 Star facility. We stayed here with family for a night. - The room was mediocre, not maintained well. As we entered the room we felt that odor from the bathroom. It was stinking and flies were around the commode. Immediately informed the housekeeping about this, but not addressed until check-out. - All the bathroom fittings were loose. The wash basin tap was turning around by its own. - The electronic safe locker which was available in the room was not working. - Food which was delivered to room was not cleared until check-out. - The pool was left unattended all the time. We could see small kids running around the pool, but no staff were present to look over. - Dinner buffet was of Rs. 950, but had very few selection of food with 2 non-veg items. I would be happy to pay maximum 450 for this, but 950 is way too much. - Mosquitoes in room. - Bar was not functioning. Got to know that license was not renewed, and still they say the reason "due to covid" - The parking lot is in some other plot outside the resort campus. We have to walk in the public road after parking to enter the resort. Also when we were returning, so many cars were parked back to back due to which our car could not be taken out. Had to walk again to security and wait for the other car owners to come and move their vehicle. Sad state of affair for a 5 star hotel. - Only good thing is that the pool was good and kids enjoyed in the pool very much.

Ginger Kochi, Kalamassery is a serene and beautifully designed hotel with clean and comfortable rooms that make you feel at home. The delicious food served there is well-arranged and the staff, especially Mr. Hari and Sachu, are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Guests appreciate the easy accessibility of the hotel, great breakfast options, and flexible management. While some minor issues were encountered during check-in and with room amenities, they were promptly addressed by the attentive staff.
In kochi, Ginger hotel is home, for me! A large parking where you can easily get out from your taxi, very kind and available staff ( 5 stars for each one of them! ),very clean rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast in a bright hall, and a lovely swimming pool on the roof, where you can watch all the large and busy city around. Not more than 5 minutes walking to the Cochin university metro station. Ginger is a warranty of a pleasant stay in kochi.

Its the worst ever service i have ever seen. The bed size is too small and we have paid 4500 including tax to sleep on double size bed. I went with my family and 11 months small baby and i could not sleep properly. When i asked for a extra bed as the bed size is small , they told me to pay 800 for my 11 months baby. The main issue is not paying for the bed, they must have mentioned the bed size if its too small. Its not worthy to pay 4500 for a single room with small bed size(other hotels with Rs.3000, i can get big size bed) . Better go to other hotels at least to have big size bed with good quality service.

The Hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are good. Service is also good but there is a lot of scope for improvement in the food and Restaurant area. Food & Restaurant staff need more training for reaching Tata Group standards.

Overall a decent stay in Kochi, located centrally on the main road with access to Metro Station (Cochin University station) by hardly 200 m. Rooms are well sized, however there were a few small cockroaches, this pest control should have been taken care of. Room service was very fast, breakfast spread is just decent with food taste being okay.

They have gone into ultra pro max cost cutting mode. Don't provide shaving kit, don't provide toilet paper, belongings getting lost, service guys confused. Breakfast not much options, and also slow.. Won't be opting again

Forte Kochi Hotel is a refined accommodation housed in a Colonial-era building, located on Princess Street. The hotel offers 27 luxurious rooms that seamlessly blend old-world charm with modern amenities. The decor features cushioned wicker sofas and colorful tiles alongside wooden floors, evoking the colonial era. Guests can enjoy a sensory culinary experience at the hotel's restaurant, where every dish is meticulously prepared with precision and care.
🌟 Forte Kochi Heritage Hotel – An Elegant Colonial Escape ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Forte Kochi was nothing short of magical. Tucked away on the charming Princess Street in Fort Kochi, this beautifully restored heritage mansion blends Portuguese, Dutch, and British architecture with modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and attentive staff made us feel like honored guests. The check-in was smooth—even though we arrived late at night—and we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. Our room was thoughtfully decorated with antique-style furniture, a four-poster bed, and spacious interiors that retained an old-world charm. The bathroom was large. Every corner of the hotel oozes character—whether it's the stained glass, the tiled floors, or the classic wooden furniture. The central courtyard pool is a peaceful retreat, and we loved relaxing by it in the evenings. Breakfast was a highlight: freshly prepared South Indian and continental dishes served in a tranquil, open-air setting. The in-house restaurant, The Jetty, also served some delicious seafood and Kerala specials. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to the Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, and other historic sights. ✅ Heritage charm with modern comfort ✅ Immaculate service ✅ Lovely pool and restaurant ❗No alcohol served (but nearby options available) Whether you're a history buff, a romantic couple, or just someone looking for a serene break, Forte Kochi is a top-tier stay. Highly recommended for a boutique heritage experience in Kerala!

We booked a week long stay in Forte Kochi. When we first booked our stay I looked at some reviews, but then just before our arrival in Kochi I looked at reviews more closely and was worried about some of the negative feedback. We decided not to cancel our reservation and I am so glad that we didn’t. First off the hotel is simply stunning - the colors, the tiles, the spiral staircase. One of our favorite things was the way the morning light shown into our room through the colored window panels. Our room had beautiful pieces of art and furniture that felt magical in the space. The staff are friendly, helpful, and kind. This is not a big hotel and the staff size reflects that. All of the staff that we interacted with day after day worked hard to service the restaurant and care for the hotel guests and rooms as well - still our requests were responded to in a timely and friendly manner. Location is wonderful as well. Will absolutely stay here again!

Great location, pretty closer to all the attractions! The staff is very warm and welcoming and is always ready to take care of all the needs. The restaurant (jetty) food was very delicious (didnt had to look outside). Also tried the ayurvedic treatment for me and my family, tried “shilo dhara” from Ansila💕which was unbelivingly soothing, slept soo well.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, making sure we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The hotel offers an affordable cooking experience where you choose the dishes, and they prepare the ingredients. The chef provides recipes and tips while you cook. They also organize a free walking tour around Fort Kochi.

If you want to experience Heritage this is the Place to be..it's a 200 year old property located bang on the prime Fort Kochi area. The rooms are majestic and the staff will go that extra mile to make your Holiday a memorable one. We didn't feel like Checking out of this property after our 2 nights stay but sadly All Good Things Should Come To An End.
Jijiya V — Google review
The hotel is lovely, decorated with a lot of taste and respecting the old style of the buidling and furniture. The staff is deliciously nice and helpful. The only problem I had with this hotel is that because it is in the middle of a busy touristic street it is noisy. If noise in the room bothers you it is probably not the best choice of hotel as there are many others very close by (a couple of minutes away from this street) that are much more quiet. Apart from that it was a very nice stay!

Last month, my two friends and I visited Forte Kochi for a casual evening snack, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. Though we weren’t staying at the hotel, the staff welcomed us warmly, and the atmosphere immediately stood out with its blend of heritage charm and quiet elegance. We spent some time at the restaurant, where the setting felt both cozy and refined—especially the beautifully lit wine display that added a sophisticated touch to the space. The snacks we ordered were fresh and flavorful, perfectly suited for a relaxed evening catch-up. Overall, it was a short visit, but the ambiance, service, and quality left a lasting impression on all three of us.

Okay so i only had food there i didnt stay or book a room but oh my god the food there was HEAVENLY I’ve never had pasta so good My friend who hates chicken had the chicken pasta i ordered, it was that good! I would definitely come here everyday if it was closer to me Such a pretty place too The paintings on the wall and the ambiance I didn’t know it was a hotel at first cause i entered through the restaurant but when we went to wash our hands i saw the pool and the layout was breathtaking It gave lowkey Spanish vibes and i loveeeddd it !!! I hate the color yellow but they designed well I really wish to stay here atleast once in my life That pasta brought years to my life and i would love to go back for more Even the iced tea was soo good I say yes to this place Definitely give it a try and dont forget to try their pasta

I am very disappointed spending this much money on this property. The sadhya we received after paying this much was not good at all. The taste was below average ,none of us liked it. Even the Payasam tasted like water was used more than milk. We were hungry so we ate it didn't feel like to take seconds The staff was not so welcoming either.

We stayed at S River Resort with a group of friends for a bachelor party and had an amazing time! We booked the entire resort, and everything—from the spacious rooms and delicious food to the beautiful ambience—was perfect. Special thanks to Manager Ajith and the entire staff for their warm hospitality and smooth coordination. Highly recommended for group events and celebrations!

We had a get-together planned with our old friends, hoping to celebrate in the Onam spirit. Finding the right place was a challenge since we wanted to enjoy the evening and night with a proper Onam sadhya. Fortunately, we were able to book S River. Though we initially wished to plan a lot of activities, it wasn’t easy with everyone coming as families with kids. But S River made it truly special by arranging a wonderful Onam vibe with games, setups, and a perfect festive atmosphere that let us relax and enjoy. Both adults and kids had a great time, and it turned into a beautiful, memorable evening.

Visitors can enjoy the peaceful ambience and professional staff, as well as access to facilities like an open hall with sound system, swimming pool, traditional Kerala house with games, and a small playground for kids.
Wished we stayed longer. Only stayed one night at Once upon the River, but loved every bit of the hotel we were able to explore. Built with nature in mind on the riverside, you’re greeted by the chirping of birds in the morning and fantastic breakfast at the restaurant. Attentive and accommodating staff, large spacious rooms and only 15 minutes from the airport. A great relaxing start to our Kerala trip

The ambience and the service were top notch. The food was extremely horrible. Even the very basic Kerala banana fritters turned out to be the worst I had in my whole life. We had lunch and dinner, both were horrible. The breakfast served next day was a decent one. Staff is friendly, helpful and well mannered. Premises are neat and rooms are cozy and comfortable.

The resort itself was well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The food was a highlight, offering a variety of delicious local dishes that I couldn’t get enough of. For those looking to unwind, the resort provided plenty of opportunities, from scenic walks along the river to the chance to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a rejuvenating stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

My stay at once upon a river spoiled my entire one month vacation plan. Room was full of mold and on top they sprayed some room freshner which made the room non stayable. My daughter got up and womitted at 2am, she got sick and later was admitted in Amritha hospital for 3 days and I had to continue here treatment in Trivandrum too. Honestly very bad experience. Truly Refreshing Stay at Retrieve Wellness! 🌿✨ From the moment I stepped in, Retrieve Wellness felt like a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always eager to help – their hospitality truly stood out and made me feel so welcome. I had the pleasure of staying at this property twice with my family - once for 7 nights and again for 3 nights. Both experiences were simply wonderful. The rooms were always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The food was truly amazing - delicious and thoughtfully prepared according to our preferences, which made each meal special. The spa treatments were deeply relaxing and left us feeling completely refreshed. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and the front desk team - especially Saumia and Ishwar, were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Overall, both of our stays here were memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel, and we are already looking forward to coming back again.

My friends and I (total 5people in 3rooms), after a long journey found this hotel on-line. We've been there for one night only and all of us have agreed that it was the best Hotel of all of our journey. Beside the cleanliness, the comfort, the amenities including the specialties of the SPA services, this hotel shines for the care of the staff and customer service. That is what attracted us from the reviews and we can say that it was fully true. The amazing personnel adds an incredible and rare value to this hotel. We marked this hotel for any future visit to Kochi/Ernakulam. Marina & Mauro.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE We stayed here with our family and received pleasant hospitality. The staff were very nice and polite. The ambiance and rooms are excellent. The warm lights and mirror facilities in the room give it a luxurious look. The area is quiet and calm, which allowed us to feel truly relaxed. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT: THE POOL We did not use the spa facilities, but we were extremely disappointed with the pool area. We were specifically drawn to this hotel because the pool was heavily highlighted in the reviews and photos and was depicted as a large, luxurious, and beautiful feature. In reality, it is a small pool, suitable only for children. The pool tiles are also broken in some areas, which presents a definite risk of injury. Furthermore, the damaged pool tiles in certain areas pose a clear danger of injury. This was a major letdown, as we had filtered many options based on the pool area and selected this hotel primarily because of those misleading pictures. A hotel with such high-quality rooms and services should have a user-friendly pool that accommodates both adults and children. RECOMMENDATION FOR MANAGEMENT To prevent future guest disappointment, the hotel must provide an accurate description and correct view of the pool. It should be clearly noted as a 'Kids' Pool Only' in the entire review and description section of the hotel. This would be very helpful for guests who are looking for specific pool options.

Lots of options very hearty portion sizes with a home cooked taste. The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfy - cleanliness was maintained to a high standard. The Cranganor boutique hotel is a hidden gem, set in a beautiful quiet setting hard to beat. Perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature. The welcome is so warm and all the staff go out of their way to make your stay exceptional. Definitely the favourite place we stayed at in Kerala. We had the lovely Mustard and Teal room with amazing views on the river and gardens. Being the beginning of monsoon the place was quiet and it felt like we had our own private villa. Fresh food was cooked on order and delicious. We had a private boat ride on the river organised by the hotel and it was just amazing being on the water and admire the beautiful surroundings. When we go back to Kerala, we'll definitely stay at the Cranganor again.

I have been to India over twenty times and can say that this is one of the nicest hotels in the country. I had a large, well decorated room with a view of the river. The stone tiles, bedspread and art on the walls captured my attention. The sitting area had daily the newspaper and magazines. The swimming pool was clean and great on a hot day. Breakfast was plentiful and my grilled sardine dinner was great. The place is well kept, the staff very warm and after two nights I was sad to leave. The watercolors displayed could have come home with me. The Cranganor is a jewel

36 Palms Beach Resort is a luxurious boutique resort located just 2.4 kilometers from Cherai Beach and 24.5 kilometers from Ernakulam.
Stayed here with family plus friends for 4 days and had beautiful experience. 1. Right next to the beach, you will hear the waves all day (though mostly no access to beach in Oct due to high tides /monsoon). There's a nice deck where you can sit and enjoy the beach view any time of the day! 2. Service is at it's best. You will be treated very well and your personal preferences are remembered and tended to. 3. Rooms are of decent size, try to get upper rooms if possible, which have nicer view Cons 1. Very far from Fort Kochi, takes 1+ hours and at peak hours Jetty waiting is 1+ hours on top of it. If you have plans to visit the city frequently, you'll spend lot of time on the road 2. There were a small inconsistencies with bill of room food service (due to too many guest, I'd like to believe)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at 36 Palms Resort, Cherai Beach with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. Nestled right along the serene shores of Cherai Beach, the resort offered the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and stunning natural beauty. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking—we woke up to the gentle sound of waves and a panoramic view of the ocean right from our window. It felt like a private slice of paradise. Watching the sunset from the balcony was one of the most memorable moments of our trip. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with a perfect mix of traditional Kerala architecture and modern amenities. The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, giving a warm and welcoming feel. The staff was incredibly friendly, always attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food at the in-house restaurant was another highlight. We enjoyed a variety of local and continental dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. The ambiance of dining with a view of the sea added to the charm. If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with your loved ones, I highly recommend 36 Palms Resort. It’s a hidden gem on the Kerala coast and offers a truly rejuvenating experience.

What an absolutely spectacular stay by the sea! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of pure tranquility and breathtaking beauty. This wasn't just a vacation; it was an experience that truly rejuvenated our souls. The location is simply unparalleled. Waking up to the gentle roar of the waves and stepping out onto the balcony to witness the sunset over the endless ocean was a daily highlight. The panoramic views were mesmerizing, offering a constant reminder of the stunning natural world around us. Evenings are magical, with vibrant sunsets painting the sky in a symphony of colors. The accommodation itself was impeccably designed and incredibly comfortable. Property seemed to be thoughtfully curated to enhance the seaside experience, from the tasteful decor that invited relaxation. We particularly appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel luxurious and pampered. Beyond the stunning views and comfortable living, the serenity of the surroundings was a true gift. The fresh sea breeze, and the rhythmic sound of the waves created a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The service was also exceptional – attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring all our needs were met with a warm smile. This seaside retreat exceeded all our expectations and provided memories we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind, reconnect with nature, and indulge in unparalleled beauty, look no further. A truly standout aspect of our stay was the welcoming and incredibly caring staff. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their attentiveness was remarkable; they anticipated our needs, offered helpful recommendations, and were always ready with a friendly smile. It's clear they take immense pride in their work, and their dedication truly elevated our experience from great to truly exceptional. Their thoughtful gestures and genuine care made us feel not just like guests, but like cherished visitors. We cannot recommend this spectacular stay by the sea highly enough and are already dreaming of our next visit!

Stunning Sea View I stayed in the Sea View Room and absolutely loved how close the property is to the sea — the view was simply amazing and made for a peaceful, scenic stay. The interiors have a rustic charm, which adds to the laid-back beach vibe, and the overall ambiance is very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. A special thanks to Vishnu, who was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful views and warm hospitality!

Great location and view if you are taking the Sea View King room. But we had stains in the blankets and it got changed after we called the staff and showed them. The 2nd room we booked (Standard twin room with Garden View) had neither the bed design like the photos nor it had a view of any garden. Pool was nice but it had lot of particles due to the rough sea waves nearby due to inclement weather. Breakfast buffet and restaurant was not available due to torrential rain but the food served in the room was good, though with limited options. Decent, but a lot to improve.

I recently stayed at 36 Palms Resort in Cherai, and it was a truly peaceful and relaxing experience. The location is stunning—right on the beach, with beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. The rooms were clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated with a traditional touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious,The infinity pool was a great spot to unwind while enjoying the sea breeze. If you’re looking for a calm, boutique-style beach getaway, 36 Palms is a great choice. It’s not overly crowded and perfect for couples or families looking to relax.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. We stayed in garden view room. Room is compact and it has fridge in it and air conditioned. Overall room is very old and they are maintaining like a vintage room. We didnt like the room mats it seemed very old. And they have a small tv we didnt use it. One plus thing in this room is you can watch sunset from the property terrace sitting leisurely. And they have a clean infinity pool. They serve buffet breakfast which is good. They have recreation room but which is not good. Their service is really good. The property has no beach access it is only sea view from the terrace.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Break Water Park Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The resort grounds were beautifully maintained — the pool area was a highlight, and the views were stunning! The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with a good variety to choose from. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely recommend Break Water Park Resort to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, nature, and great service. We’ll be back!

Room was good, and the staff were very friendly and supportive..but we had very bad experience as the electricity was gone many time for long interval and hence it was very difficult to sleep. There is generator, but it is not auto switch and they didnt manually switch until we go and inform them. So in middle of night i had to go inform them multiple times to switch on it and even then too it would take 20-25 minutes to do the same. That was really bad. Some times it took more than an hour for electricity to be back. Sometimes they deliberately switch off the generator and when asked stated its getting hot and hence have to switch off for sometime. Think of kids and all were sleeping and they started crying of hot. Sea is too nearby and waves even reaches our room steps. That was good experience. The swimming pool is adjacent to sea. It is good but the water is not good. The filtering was not happening.. it was completely filled with salty sea water with sand at the bottom. They should do filtering often. No restaurant at the accom, but if we ask in advance they will provide food. Tea will be provided on request.

We went with high hopes, but was very disappointed. It's been a week since we went. The entire property was water logged. Which was not informed even when we called on the way (the property is at a short distance from home). Poorly kept rooms. Room floor was too soapy, wet and slippery. They were not allowing us to open the doors to the poolside, reason - heavy rain and winds. Pool also was not usable as it was filled with sea water due to huge waves. We checked out wiithin an hour as it was clear we would be stuck inside the room, with nothing else to look forward to. They said 50% charges will be there for cancellation, and that it will be credited only after a week. However it was not done until we called again after 10days. Still the full 50% balance was not returned back. All in all a huge disappointment, both the property and facilities and especially their dealings... NOT RECOMMENTED!!!!

5/5 Stars! We had an incredible stay at John's Village last week! The entire experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. The ambience of Johns Village is absolutely amazing, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, including large speakers, a bar counter, a mini bar fridge, a mini kids' pool, and two attached bathrooms. The private Bunger Room truly exceeded our expectations. There's also a large common pool which is accessible up to night. The entire property is ideal for capturing beautiful photos. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The in charge person Viju is very helpful and the barbeques in the night were really delightful. The place is located right at the beach, on the other side of the road. So you are always close to the Ocean. One of the few places with a swimming pool in this location, hence kids had a gala time. Rooms are neat and clean. Prices are reasonable too.

Beach facing rooms were clean and nice. Pool was we'll maintained but they forgot to offer pool tubes for kids and they gave us only on the 3rd day of stay. They did not provide water bottles every day. They could not provide tea/coffee in morning/evenings. They were served along with dinner/breakfast only, however there are shops nearby. Breakfast and dinner provided were good.
Krithika E — Google review
First of all, this is not a 3 star hotel as shown here. The AC was not working most of the time during this summer which was the biggest drawback I felt. There are no cupboards in the room and the door was creaky which was very disturbing. There are no proper facilities for a hotel, such as tissue, tooth brush, tooth paste. The roof top restaurant was good with a nice beach view. The room ambience was also fine with a tharavadu feel. The food was just average. We need to order in advance as there is no restaurant here. So we cannot add something in between. Complementary breakfast was just for namesake with no options. Can opt for outside food if you are looking for multiple options. Room service and reception staff were friendly, but were not well trained and lacked professionalism. In short, this place may be budget friendly, but do not feel the value for money as we did not feel comfortable during our stay. Not sure how they got this 4 star rating, but please check for other options as there are many in Cherai. PS: No credit card payment accepted here.

Review: Cherai Beach Palace – A Total Letdown One of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had. The place has zero ambience — dull, poorly maintained, and far from what’s shown in pictures. They shamelessly overcharge for basics like water, and the food? Tasteless, low-quality, and nowhere near worth the price. The staff were indifferent and barely responsive, making the service just as disappointing. The final blow? They actually charged us for minor wear and tear — something that any decent place would consider normal usage. It felt like a blatant money grab. Avoid this place. There are far better and more honest options nearby.

.. it is like a pretty decent home with 10 rooms. Almost every room has a sea view. . go to the common balcony on the ground floor which is directly connected to the sea wall and an excellent view from the first floor balcony which is the dinner area . Just don't imagine a proper resort mode .. still I like it with all the things available on request .. parking space is limited .. but you can manage outside space as well and its safe .. Cherai Beach is so near .. even though there is a small beach part in 100 metres .

Please don't get fooled. We stayed there a few days back. Pathetic room condition, no balcony, mosquitoes all over. The whole compound was dirty. Not worthy for the price we paid. The owner was rude over phone, did not get a chance to meet him but I did complain about him to the 2 care taker boys. They agreed that he is not good with his words. Only one item for breakfast, you do not have other options. The kitchen was horrible, sticking and unclean. As soon as you enter the gate you get a glimpse of the kitchen which would make you ill. Very unclean trust me. We stayed in C7, houseboat and hotels near airport but all were worthy compared to the amount we paid. You can search other hotels near the beach with the same room rate ONETREE charges.

Ask for a sea facing room. Better to book the sea facing room in advance by calling the owner directly. They offer good discounts if you approach them directly. Rooms are good, small and comfortable. Wifi is a problem. It's a low network zone so calls are patchy.... A good wifi connection is necessary (which reaches all rooms)

. The owner is clueless and highly irresponsible, making it impossible to trust staying here. To make matters worse, the same room is allocated to different guests on the same day, creating utter chaos. If you're considering staying here, I strongly recommend booking online to at least have some proof of your reservation. Very disappointing! Ps. I didn't stay in this property cause the Owner was smart enough to make our plan worse.

Typical Taj hospitality. Absolutely phenomenal staff, great breakfast buffet. The eggs Benedict are spot on. the check in staff always go the extra mile to get you ur room preference as long as logistics permit within reasonable wait times. in room dining recommendation by the restaurant staff is quite decent. im sure being taj, they will continue to maintain the standards. small issues are there though but nothing major, its barely 10 months old hotel. so should smoothen out in a few more months.

Beautiful hotel. Very welcoming. Beautiful room. They gave me an upgrade for more privacy as a solo traveler. However, once in my room I made a couple of requests to the service staff and they didn't show up. One of them was the wifi not working, the other was an international adapter. Had to ask twice and I finally had to call the manager. It was done. Wifi took 2 minutes to setup once IT came. Some staff just doesn't care & some do their job. It is the way of the world. Location is perfect and for a fee, their car took me to the airport. Wonderful breakfast. Great room service.

Great 1 night stay before a morning flight. Very welcoming and beautiful hotel close to the airport. Spacious room, well designed. Enjoyed excellent food & drinks at the Infinity bar with very good service from Amar. Very smooth check in and departure, with Chandana being extremely helpful in particular. Would definitely stay again if I visited Kochi. Very much felt like a valued guest.
D U — Google review
I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Taj Cochin. The service quality is going down day by day, which is truly disheartening for a hotel that carries the “Taj” name. The quilt in my room had a strong unpleasant smell, as if it hadn’t been aired or kept in the sun for a long time. To make matters worse, I even developed a skin allergy because of it. The breakfast quality was also quite average and did not live up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Something as basic as filter coffee wasn’t even served in a traditional steel glass and bowl, which one would expect in Kerala. This level of negligence and lack of attention to detail is not expected from a property that promises luxury and high standards. Basic hygiene, food quality, and guest comfort should be top priorities, and sadly, all of these were missing during my stay. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the much-needed improvements.
Aprajita S — Google review
We stayed at this hotel after a late flight to Kochin. It is very close to the airport. The hotel has great amenities, the room was impeccably clean and well organized. We loved the breakfast and how welcoming all staff were! This was not the first place where we stayed in our trip , but so far the best!!!
Violeta S — Google review
The hotel itself is decent and offers generally good facilities, but my experience was unfortunately ruined by a major issue in my room. The window did not close properly, which meant there was literally no soundproofing. In an airport hotel, with constant car and airplane traffic, this was a nightmare. I did not sleep a single minute during the night. What makes it even more disappointing is that no compensation was offered upon my departure, despite the fact that I reported the problem. Considering also the fact that I stayed already here 10 days ago (in the executive Suite)... For a hotel of this category, I expected much more professionalism and attention to guest satisfaction. In short, this hotel could be pleasant under normal circumstances, but my stay was far from what I had hoped for.

A nice place to hangout with family. The place is surrounded by water and it’s very scenic. Kids will love the place. You could see water on all directions. All the rooms are build in a way that they flit in the water. Food is good. The prawns biriyani is mind blowing. It is located in Kumbalangi. Good parking lot. Also suitable for parties and functions. It could accommodate lot of people. Since it is surrounded by backwater you may feel bit disgusting smell of dirt and mud. Just a heads up for sensitive people.

Food was not tasty and satisfying.. Not good for the money paid at all. The resort and the view is excellent. I wouldn't recommend someone going solely for the restaurant .

Sherly's Ente Kumbalanghi is a stunning 6-bedroom bungalow located on a serene island surrounded by the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. The property features a spacious garden with a pond and swimming pool, offering plenty of outdoor activities. Guests praise the well-maintained rooms, delicious homely food, and courteous staff. The decor is described as fascinating, adorned with beautiful art and an array of interesting books.
A top class experience. Luxurious rooms with fantastic views of the backwaters. The food is also fantastic. Special props to Mr. Aleem for his excellent service. Worth every penny. If you toss and turn a lot at night, don't choose the room with the swinging bed. The approach roads are rather small and we could do with bigger signboards but once you get there you won't feel like leaving.
Adwaith S — Google review
Absolutely fantastic place. Loved the decor, the house felt like an interesting person with many stories to tell. Beautiful art and great books sprinkled across. And food was downright delicious. Homely food with great variety. The rooms designed in away to give the best views, after a long while sat down and saw the sun actually set before my eyes. Would definitely recommend this place.
Pooja S — Google review
The facility is extremely well maintained. Rooms are superbly or rather lavishly appointed. Food across all three days and each meal were truly exemplary. The fact that all six rooms need to be availed as part of a package deal may be considered. Getting to the location is a bit of a challenge but once you are in it's like a paradise.
Sunil K — Google review
Well maintained property at a peaceful location with a fantastic ambience . Rooms are very spacious and neat. Tasty homely food cooked with great perfection. Extremely courteous staffs. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the fishing experience by the pond within the property . The pool was clean too.I highly recommend Sherly's Kumbalangi homestay to all ... We didn't feel like leaving the place We will definitely go back again :-)

Calm and quiet place, back waters, the food, the place. Make sure you stay here for multiple days and enjoy the view of the back waters. We have visited their other location in Alapuzha too. Hospitality is at its best.
Hisham H — Google review
The place was amazing. Was worth the stay. We have to admit, we had our share of worries whether the place wouldn’t live up to our expectations, but that was unnecessary. All the staff are really friendly and amazing people. The hospitality is commendable beyond words. The place is also calm and quiet which is a major stress-buster, especially from the frustrations due to the ongoing pandemic. Moreover, the they provide gourmet meals, unlimited in supply and of unparalleled great taste. The only problem we faced was reaching the place, though the location was easy to find, it wasn’t easy to reach as most roads leading to the place were very narrow ones.
Hala H — Google review
Brilliant property, Amazing Staff, Great Food and truly a wonderful property for staycation. The only downside I can come up with is the access roads towards the property once we turn in from the main road as they are very narrow so it would be ideal to opt for a hatchback while heading over. Overall I would give 9/10 Rating .
Sethuram N — Google review
Loved the stay. Professional and courteous staff. The food was fresh and tasty. Great ambience. They have paid attention to every little corner of the resort. Road leading to the resort is narrow so to be careful.

The Lhasa Ayurveda and Wellness Resort is a peaceful, tranquil retreat located in Cochin. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, and rooms with private bathrooms. In addition to its luxurious amenities, the resort also offers treatments based on Ayurveda principles.
A pristine property that is an unearthed gem in Kochi. Lhasa Ayurveda and Wellness Resort is one of the best ayurveda resorts in the city thanks in no small part to the impeccable hospitality and service by the staff, delectable vegetarian cuisine and an unbeatable ambience! Would definitely visit again!

Lovely stay with my daughter for 2 nights after the craziness of Agra and Delhi. Lovely place, great pool over looking the river. Great massage with experienced and lovely masseuse. We had specified vegan (months in advance) so disappointed we missed out on some courses of the meals but they tried to accommodate. I think given the isolation the meals should be included in the price. Otherwise highly recommended for some down time in manic India.

A Truly Nourishing and Rejuvenating Stay at Lhasa Resort My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Lhasa Resort for 14 days during the lush Monsoon season —and it was absolutely perfect for us. Lhasa is a tranquil oasis that feels like a true sanctuary, deeply nourishing and rejuvenating from the moment you arrive. Our two children, aged 9 and 6, loved every minute—especially the sparkling pool and the lush garden where they could run and play freely. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, offering us all the comfort we needed. There’s a unique family touch at Lhasa that makes the experience feel personal and heartfelt. The staff were exceptionally sweet and professional, making us feel cared for throughout our stay. My partner and I enjoyed Ayurvedic Abhyanga massages which were incredibly relaxing—delivered with both professionalism and warmth. My partner and the children also spent time kayaking on the nearby river, which was a highlight of their trip. One of the greatest joys of our stay was the food! The vegetarian meals were hands down the best we’ve tasted in India—clean, beautifully prepared, and deeply satisfying. We looked forward to every meal. Whether you’re a family, a solo traveller, or planning a yoga, Ayurvedic or meditation retreat, I cannot recommend Lhasa Resort highly enough. It’s peaceful, welcoming, and offers a much-needed escape from the hustle of the outside world. We loved every moment. Thank you Vjay, Vjaya, Vaishali and Staff. We miss you! xo

The hosts make you feel welcome and part of the family. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and the air-conditioning and fans were all effective in keeping the rooms comfortable. The property is situated on the canal and the gardens contain fruits and nuts which the chefs make use of in their kitchen. All the meals we ate were fresh, delicious and reflective of the dietary needs of all our group. Guests can also book an ayurvedic massage. The hosts also own a business that manufactures natural cosmetics and food products. One of my best experiences in 50 years of travel. If only we could have stayed longer. Thank you Vijay and Vijaya for your hospitality.

Lhasa is that idyllic getaway tucked in a corner of Kochi city - accessible yet calm and serene. The view of the river side, the thrill of a kayaking ride, the pleasure of swimming in a pool almost near the river, the fresh and yummy vegetarian food along with the very friendly and yet non intrusive staff add up to the experience. We also took a relaxing Ayurvedic massage by trained professionals. The rooms are well appointed with exquisite toiletries such as soap, shampoo, creams made at Holylama. The tree swing, the bamboo rope ladder, the hammock and the pool kept the kids busy. In summary, an unforgettable experience.

An Unforgettable Stay at Lhasa Kerala Ayurvedic Wellness Resort My wife, Shreedevi, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lhasa Kerala Ayurvedic Wellness Resort, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. Owned by the incredibly passionate Mr. Vijay Dev and his wife, Mrs. Dev, the resort offers a perfect blend of nature, wellness, and luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the resort’s tranquil ambiance and breathtaking surroundings. The infinity pool, overlooking the lush greenery, was a highlight of our stay. The soothing sound of the nearby river flowing added to the sense of peace. We also had a fantastic time enjoying the speed boat and kayaking, which added a fun and adventurous touch to our trip. The attention to detail throughout the resort was impeccable. The bath amenities and body care products, including soaps and lotions, are all manufactured in their very own factory, Holy Lama Naturals. These products, which are of export-quality, left our skin feeling pampered and rejuvenated. The quality and care that goes into every product are truly remarkable. The resort’s sattvik vegetarian cuisine was another standout feature. Every meal was delicious, healthy, and nourishing—exactly what you need to complement a wellness retreat. The Ayurvedic treatments were top-notch, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff’s warmth and professionalism ensured our every need was met, making our stay even more special. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Vijay Dev and Mrs. Dev for creating such a beautiful, peaceful space. Their dedication and passion for wellness and hospitality are evident in every aspect of the resort. If you're looking for a perfect retreat to unwind, reconnect with nature, and rejuvenate your body and mind, we highly recommend Lhasa Kerala. We will definitely be back! Shrikrishna AS

Get an Ayurvedic treatment done spend your time sitting and observing the beautiful nature. Nutritious Homely cooked food and very coordially hosts. You are made to feel at home even before you arrive and yes they say " Don't feel at home , feel at Lhasa"but it feels more than home. Do try the local fruits they grow in their bouqtiue property.

Cherai Lake Resort provides a peaceful and unique experience on the tranquil shores of Cherai Lake, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Cherai Beach. The resort has garnered very good user reviews and is well-located for exploring the area. Each room boasts a private balcony with stunning views of the lake, and guests can enjoy various amenities such as an outdoor pool, complimentary bicycles, and guided fishing and cycling tours.
This is a really niice place to live. I stayed in a comfortable wooden bungalow with a huge panoramic window facing the backwaters. It is completely quiet and the white sandy beach of the Indian Ocean is only approx. a hundred meters away.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cherai Lake resort. Our cabin had the most beautiful view of the lake and it was isolated enough that we felt we had complete privacy. The staff were excellent and very helpful. They provided steady supply of bottled water which I really appreciated. The view was excellent, we saw so many unique birds, butterflies and SEA OTTERS!!! Room for improvement: our stay would’ve been excellent if the hot water worked properly but overall I am glad we spent our last few days in the beautiful Kerela at this resort.

Excellent Stay with a Scenic Ambience We, a group of three, had a wonderful stay at Cherai Lake Resort! This resort truly offers one of the best ambiences in Cherai, with its serene lakeside views and well-designed poolside rooms. The room we stayed in was impeccably maintained, thanks to the efforts of two fantastic hosts who ensured everything was in top condition. The service was outstanding, with the hosts being extremely attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and the room service was prompt and efficient. The combination of a peaceful lakeside setting, neat maintenance, and great hospitality made this stay one of our best experiences. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Cherai!

This is a lovely, peaceful property, conveniently located within walking distance of the main beach yet offering a tranquil escape. Vikas, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful and attentive. It's an ideal spot to relax, especially with the beautiful backwater view.

Disappointing Experience at Cherai Lake Resort Rating: 1/5 I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at Cherai Lake Resort, and I must warn potential customers to exercise caution. The resort's online presence grossly misrepresents its actual state. Upon arrival, I was struck by the lack of ambiance and the overwhelming bad smell that permeates the property. The resort's plot is tiny, offering little to no space for recreation or relaxation. The management's poor service and unprofessional demeanor were further disappointments. Despite requesting a receipt for my booking and advance payment, none was provided. Moreover, the cancellation policy and associated charges were not disclosed at the time of booking. When I attempted to cancel my stay, the owner was uncooperative and unwilling to engage with me as a customer. This lack of transparency and accountability is alarming. In light of my experience, I strongly advise against booking a stay at Cherai Lake Resort. The resort's exaggerated claims and misleading online presence are, in my opinion, a clear case of false advertising. Travelers deserve honesty and transparency when choosing accommodations. Until Cherai Lake Resort addresses these significant issues, I would recommend exploring alternative options. About the resort - Misleading online presence - Poor ambiance and maintenance - Bad smell throughout the property - Tiny plot with limited space - Poor management and service - Lack of transparency regarding cancellation policy and charges

Nestled in the heart of Fort Kochi, The Victory Dawn Hotel is a charming heritage bungalow that beautifully blends colonial-era elegance with modern comforts. This delightful retreat features airy rooms adorned with Dutch-inspired decor and offers a complimentary breakfast to start your day right. Opened in January 2023 and managed by Taj Hotels, it boasts six spacious rooms spread across two floors, connected by a vintage wooden staircase—perfect for groups of up to 12 guests.
A beautiful colonial bungalow! Walkable distance to the beach. The staff were very friendly and they can prepare meals for you but you have to inform them well in advance. Or else you can order from outside. It’s great to stay especially if you go as a group of friends or family.

Rooms, Hall and bathrooms are spacious.. neatly arranged..We felt some uneasiness in their breakfast serving method and in serving time... And not giving priority to our choice of food item..but taste is ok. One day no water in the bathroom in the most needed time.. In the early morning.. for half an hour

"Staying at The Victory Dawn Hotel in Fort Kochi was an absolute delight! The historic charm of this traditional luxury building, built by the British, adds a unique touch to the experience. Located conveniently near shopping streets and cafes, it's perfect for exploring the vibrant surroundings. The Vipin Boat junkar experience was a highlight, offering a glimpse into the local culture. The staff, especially Akshay Ram, exemplified true hospitality, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The food was delicious, offering a palatable journey through local flavors. The picturesque ambience and cleanliness of the hotel further enhanced our experience. And to top it all off, booking through MakeMyTrip provided the best value for money. Icing on the cake was that they are pet friendly my furry friend throuly enjoyed his stay. Highly recommend this gem for a memorable stay in Fort Kochi!".

I stayed at Victory Dawn by Amatrails for a friends reunion organized by my father's friend. Managed by Taj Hotels, the property and their service is impeccable (as is always)! The property opened in January 2023 and has 6 rooms between 2 floors connected by a vintage wooden staircase from inside the building. It can accommodate a group of 12 people. But to be honest, by the size of each room it can accommodate twice as many people! The attached bathrooms are huge and very functionally designed. Furniture in the bedrooms and living rooms on both floors are subtle, stylish and remind one of old ancestral homes that some of us were privileged to visit. My favourite feature of the Victory Dawn is its collection of pictures of Kochi dating from early 1900s framed by Krishnan Nair Studio which itself was established in 1910. We were served fresh, hot and extremely tasty food. As a person who usually steers clear of fruits or salads from outside home, I was really happy to have it fresh at the table. The starters and soups were very well prepared and no prizes for guessing how the main course turned out to be! Special thanks to the staff who were simply great at what they did. Food was served hygienically and their service was impeccable. While they were always available and amiable, their presence was never intrusive. In general the property scores a 10/10 for hygiene, quality of food and service. It would be a perfect fit for groups or families to enjoy a quick weekend getaway.
