Worth the climb to see the Buddha and views, the walk down to the crater wasn't really worth it to be honest. I may have missed some bits to see though? There are refreshments at the bottom and top, which are pretty standard, plus some other stalls down the bottom. I round advise not climbing this in yhe midday sun! You can ride scooter up but road was closed when I visited.

Nice views once you have walked up the stairs. Moderate climb to get there. Maybe a little run down. There’s some souvenir shops and clean amenities on top near the monument. Some construction going on, could be more viewing platforms being added.

Apart from the volcano and Buddha statue, there wasn't much to see. There was a lot of construction when I went. There's an outdoor café near the Buddha statue that's worth visiting.

Giant Buddha, the respectable Buddha of Buriram people, is located on the top of the hill. You can go there by driving or walking up the stairs. Sightseeing the town from there, playing a local slide called Si Lai Der (warning : if the slide is wet, it goes too fast), walking through a long bridge, visiting a huge lagoon and a volcano entrance. Great place to visit.

Fabulous views across buriram,the monument of Buddha is beautiful looking over buriram..we got a bus up to the monument and to the bridge for the volcano.it was very hot and humid but worth the visit..we had noodles 🍜 soup and cola at a restaurant at the bottom and it was the best noodles 🍜 soup I've had in Thailand in 2 weeks, aroy mak mak 😊.

This is a nice place to visit, very peaceful. The steps up to the monument aren't too bad, but if you are unable to walk, you can drive to the top. We also walked around the road and to the suspension bridge over the volcano. If you are thirsty or hungry, there are plenty of small stores/restaurants at the bottom and a couple at the top.

Different temple in Buriram area. I didn't go in, location is quite good - peaceful area surrounded by forest with some buildings. Just be careful as there are quite a few dogs running around - we went to the car park off to the left as you drive up to the temple, to look around the trees and 3 dogs, one quite aggressive ran towards us.

Beautiful temple a few minutes down the road from Khao Kradong, very quiet and peaceful place, Khmer style temple with a very beautiful interior. When we visited we were there alone. Free entry.

Buriram Castle, right next to Chang International Circuit and Thunder Castle Stadium, is a chill spot to unwind before or after a race or football match. It’s not a real ancient ruin, but a nicely done modern replica of a Khmer-style temple, surrounded by clean walkways, flower gardens, botanic gardens, murals (must see), and little food stalls that come alive in the evening. You’ll find cafes, souvenir shops, and even a cactus garden, all in a calm, open-air setting. It’s great for snapping a few photos, grabbing a bite, or just taking a break from the heat—though come in the late afternoon if you don’t want to melt in the sun. Super easy to access, free to enter, and worth the hour or so it takes to walk around.

Very simple attraction next to the Chang International Circuit, and worth checking out if you're already planning on being in the area. While I like the scenery, I don't feel it's worth a visit in its own right but rather as a side trip as it was for me since I'm attending the Thai Moto GP at the Circuit. Visit during early morning or evening, during the day the heat can lack of any shade can be quite brutal.

An interesting replica of ancient Khmer temples. Not very busy. The adjoining gardens are well worth a visit. There is a small shopping area with restaurants, a drug store, ATMs, and a Buriram United FC outlet store and other local shops.

Interesting place to walk around all the area has some nice lighting in the evenings. There are a few places to eat but the time we were there it was a little quiet parking was easy as the car park was so big but a few extra light would be welcome

My first visit to this night market near the Stadium. Surprisingly the place was pretty empty, lots of parking, plenty of empty tablets. Typical Thai Street food at an affordable price. Some food like coconut only cost 25Baht. The pad Thai is very nice, but the crab fried rice is just so so. Unfortunately the fried chicken leg were bad. It was a fun visit with a quick meal.

Very nice night market, it's large enough to find a variety of street food, and it has lots of tables & chairs to sit and eat. It worth visiting it if you're in Buriram and you like street food. Impressive sculpture. I think that you can get up close and personal but it is situated on a busy roundabout. Rather than take my chances with the traffic, I decided to admire it from different angles across the road.

The monument is situated in the middle of a very busy roundabout so be cautious when crossing the street. Beautiful Statue & Decor honoring King Rama I, very pretty in the evening with the lighting. It's very easy to view while driving and if you're staying in Buriram it's a helpful landmark.

Specializing in native Thai food, the food tastes rather exotic. According to the locals, the food here are rather spicy, but personally, I don't think it is. Nice experience, get to try something different. For example, they don't eat with white rice but will pair it with sticky rice. And my favorite is the corn salad 😍

The layout and atmosphere of this place is excellent. You can stay downstairs and enjoy your order in the air conditioned room. Or you can head up the winding stairs and choose to sit in the 2 levels above. We came in the day time. At night it would be very interesting. The washroom on the main floor at the back is one of the cleanest you will find in Thailand. Service was friendly and drinks arrived quickly. One drink was excellent. The other lacked something but was still okay. Will return again.

I ordered a catfish salad and stir fried mix veg and both were very satisfying. The service is friendly and the owner keeps an eye on things. Cocktails are cheap but not great. There was not much else we could find on Google in terms of restaurants so we feel this is a sanctuary for foreign travellers in Buriram, especially for fans of football!

We went for an early dinner around 5pm. Good was ok - krap pow moo, kana moo grob. Beer was cold, the missus had red wine which she said was good. Very quiet, not many customers. Overall it was a good experience.

An okay Bar - Restaurant in the center of Buriram. Stopped in for lunch and a cold beer, which they fixed up nicely. Decent portion of food, so I was full when I walked out. The traffic creates some noise, but if you're in the city, the noise goes with it. Parking may not be the easiest, but there are options in the streets around the place.

Cozy coffee shop with great coffee. I had the cappuccino (hot, no sugar) and it was delicious. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere here is calm and quiet, with an old-timey feeling. Copious plants and subdued music make it a perfect place to relax and read, work (they have free Wi-Fi), or just chill and write them a good review. Wood furniture put together with iron pipes gives it a bit of a steampunk vibe. Easy to find, with plenty of street parking when I visited at about 11:30 AM on a Sunday. Overall they have done a great job with this place. I think I'll pick up some coffee beans before I go.

They have different buffet options which is not really correct as they don't have a buffet. You can choose from different selections of their menu. I opted for the complete menu where I can choose whatever and how much I want for 550 Baht (plus vat). You have 2 hours to get stuffed which is more than enough. Great selection of salmon dishes. Variety of Sushi could be a bit better. All in all satisfying.

Usually wonderful food that we loved but products are changing in less quality while in the same time the prices almost double in 3 years. What was 560 thb is now 790thb. Not sure you will bring a large family or guests at that price. The system of qr code menu was not working and that s a boring moment to order food. We are disapointed

Great parking and decor. Staff were responsive and helpful. Food came fast with good portions. In some of my photos I already started eating the food so not representative of the portions. Only critique is that one of the vegetarian food I ordered from the vegetarian menu had meat on in. Kind of a thing you shouldn't ever get wrong. Apart from that was an enjoyable meal.

For me this is def in top 3 restaurants in Buriram. If not top. Isaan soup is very tasty and the spice level is spicy but not crazy for me. Good chicken fried rice, not oily and medium size portion is good for two people, even three if you’re not a big eater. Spicy pork balls also very good. Service from the younger lady couldnt ask for more. I come here everytime I’m in Buriram. The only one critique would be perhaps the soup would have a bit more meat.

Took the Mrs out for Valentines night and ordered the tenderloin steak and a bottle of the French rouge wine. Steak cooked medium rare and to absolute perfection. Lovely restaurant overlooking Klong La Lom lake. All the best St Patrick I’ll be back again for sure 🥩 🍷

La Lom, the best food in the city, combined with the friendliest owners and great view and ambiance. Every time I come here I am happy with my choices of food. If you want Thai, they have great Thai food with nice plating. If you want a steak, well, you'll get the best bang for your buck in Thailand here. The steaks here are awesome and at a surprisingly affordable price.
