Twin Lagoon is a must-visit destination in Coron, Philippines. It's part of island hopping tours and offers a unique experience. Visitors can enter the lagoons through a small cave or climb a ladder over the top. The lagoons feature a mix of salt and fresh water that creates an intriguing natural oil slick effect underwater.
Love this one, we were the only ones there for a bit so it felt like a lagoon paradise. The second bit is harder to get to, you either go through a tunnel at low tide (wasn’t there when we went), or go up and down a steep set of very dodgy ladders/steps. There is not much room so you have to go one by one. Once the crowds came it was really hard to leave as people kept on coming down into the second lagoon. There are jet streams of warm water in the lagoon as well which was cool. Saw lots of people kayaking but to be honest it’s better being in the water.

I'm pretty sure there is a vortex around here. My drone got pulled towards the rocks and lost camera footage. luckily I pulled it off by return to home button. Nice and mysterious place thou.

A relaxing lagoon that we visited duting our tour. It has a picturesque view that visitors will definitely enjoy and relax. While visiting this place, a boat will be provided which can carry up to two people. The natural view is amazing which is not common in other places. The waters are calm and the weather is not too hot because of the large rocks surrounding the lagoon. Tour guides are also helpful when visiting the place as they can take photos or even help with moving the boat to the other lagoon.

Part of island hopping tours of Coron Islands (inside calamian group of islands). The island is Part of tour B and ultimate tour. Best if you have kayak here, kayaking and swimming area as well. Good for family. It has a great view! You should visit this if youre going to coron since this is one of highlights of the tour. Entrance fee is Php 200. Well maintained. You can snorkel and swim here. Water is warm and cold. Brackish water

Twin Lagoon in Coron, Palawan, is a stunning attraction with two beautiful lagoons connected by limestone cliffs. Visitors can swim or kayak between the lagoons, enjoying the clear, calm waters and scenic views. A small grocery store nearby offers drinks and light snacks. It's a recommended spot for those looking to explore and relax in nature.
Dewan A — Google review
Am amazing place for it's after beauty. What a lot of people don't realize, sadly, is the vast amount of dead coral that seems to have been blasted by dynamite fishing😢. Nonetheless, there still decent coral cover despite the destruction. Drone pics look awesome!
Ace M — Google review
Enjoy and forget everything else, take a kayak, go for a swim and do some snorkeling. The environment is absolutely stunning.
LP L — Google review
This is one of the most visited places in Coron by boat tour. You have the option to rent a kayak and paddle from one lagoon trough a small opening in the rocks to the second lagoon. With the kayak you can see more of the lagoons and even the Green Lagoon (or hidden lagoon) on the other side, otherwise swimming all these distances would be a bit too long and hard with all the shallow coral reefs. The Twin Lagoon is very beautiful with its contrast of blue water against these very high rocks. Definitely a place worth a visit!

Bodies of Water
Kayangan Lake, located in Coron, Palawan, is a picturesque mountain lake renowned for its clear waters and stunning beauty. Surrounded by impressive limestone cliffs, this crystal-clear freshwater lake has gained internet fame due to its iconic appearance in travel photos. Despite being a popular tourist spot visited as part of tours, it remains a must-see destination. Although it may not offer solitude due to the influx of tour groups, the experience is still remarkable and provides an opportunity to meet new people.
Kayangan Lake offers the famous Coron view, but to get there, you’ll need to hike 360 steps half going up and half going down. The trail can be a bit slippery, and the stones are sharp, though wooden stairs have been installed to make the ascent easier. The view at the top is absolutely worth the effort. Along the way, the tour guide will pay a local fee for tourists, and as visitors, it's important to respect and follow the area's rules. You'll also encounter some dogs along the path while they are used to people, they can be a little intimidating, so be cautious, and hopefully, the owner will be nearby. Locals also sell drinks and snacks, so it’s a good idea to bring money in case you'd like to purchase something. Kayangan Lake's water is 70% fresh and 30% seawater, so be mindful while swimming. Always stay close to your tour guide for safety, as the area is considered sacred by some locals who believe in spirits, or "engkanto," that protect the place. Avoid venturing too deep, especially since it's not entirely seawater, and you may not be able to ascend as quickly, similar to Barracuda Lake.

Very nice lake. Cool boardwalk leading up to the beach and the bottom of the staircase. There’s a map that shows you the rest of the island (I love a good map), and key points of note like where to see giant octopus. Stairs up and down (~350 altogether). It’s not that bad. Stairs leading down to the lake are a bit more carved out than the ones leading up to the nice lookout. Go early and you won’t be swimming with many people. We were there at 7:45am and barely saw anyone.
Rachel R — Google review
This is is a very nice place to visit while on Coron Island. It is part of a tour you can do while staying in Coron. You get to see amazing views and also a cave after you climb appropriately 100 steps. I would recommend visiting this as part of your stay.

If you're looking for one of the clearest lakes in the world, Kayangan Lake in Coron is a must-see. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-blue water, it feels like stepping into a postcard. You can swim, snorkel, or just float and take it all in—pure paradise! 🏝️✨

Kayangan Lake, Coron: Where Nature's Masterpiece Meets My Heart's Canvas Kayangan Lake in Coron isn't just a destination; it's an experience etched into the very core of my travel memories. Often lauded as the "cleanest lake in the Philippines" and a poster child for Palawan's unparalleled beauty, it lives up to every bit of its reputation and then some. For me, it's a place where the grandeur of nature truly humbled and captivated, leaving an indelible mark. I can still vividly recall the boat ride through the towering limestone karsts, their jagged forms rising majestically from the turquoise sea, hinting at the wonders to come. The anticipation built with every gentle sway of the boat. Then came the short, somewhat challenging climb up the wooden steps, a small effort that was rewarded tenfold. Reaching the viewpoint at the top, the iconic panorama of Kayangan Lake unfurled before my eyes. It was even more breathtaking than any photograph could capture. The deep emerald green of the lake, nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs, felt like a secret gem revealed, perfectly reflecting the sky like a giant, pristine mirror. But the true magic began when I descended into the lake itself. The water, a mix of 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater, was incredibly clear – so clear that you could see the intricate underwater rock formations, almost like a lunar landscape beneath the surface. Donning a life vest (a mandatory and sensible precaution), I plunged in. The initial coolness of the water was invigorating, and then the pure joy of simply floating, surrounded by such surreal beauty, washed over me. I remember swimming slowly, observing the shafts of sunlight piercing the water, illuminating the otherworldly formations below. It was a moment of profound tranquility, a feeling of being utterly at peace with the world. More than just the visual spectacle, Kayangan Lake holds memories of simple, yet profound, experiences. The laughter shared with travel companions as we navigated the wooden walkways, the quiet moments spent just observing the small fish darting about, and the sheer awe of being in such a perfectly preserved natural wonder. It's also a place where you truly appreciate the efforts of the Tagbanua indigenous people, the guardians of this sacred place, who have meticulously maintained its pristine condition. Their respect for nature is palpable, and it adds another layer of appreciation to the experience. Yes, Kayangan Lake can get crowded, especially during peak season. But even amidst the throngs of visitors, there are always pockets of calm, moments to find your own slice of serenity. It's a place that demands you put down your phone (after getting those obligatory, stunning photos, of course!) and simply be present. Kayangan Lake is more than just a beautiful swimming spot; it's a testament to the raw, untamed beauty of Palawan. It's a memory I revisit often, a reminder of a time when I felt truly connected to the natural world, and a place that continues to inspire wanderlust and a deep appreciation for our planet's hidden wonders. It will forever be one of the brightest jewels in my collection of travel memories.

Mount Tapyas in Coron, Palawan is a 689-foot peak that offers stunning views of the town and harbor below. Accessible by a steep 720-step trek, it provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. The climb is not overly challenging due to well-paved steps, but the hot weather can make it demanding. The journey to the top rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic vistas, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
Good hike. Awesome view. A must do in Coron.
Rubano M — Google review
I enjoyed walking up to Mount Tapyas as it is a challenge. You will be walking a lot of steps so I suggest bringing water to quench your thirst. Reaching the top feels like a success but the view is a wonder. It is one for the books if you want a bit of challenge. The stairs are well made so it is safe and not steep. I would not recommend this for kids and the elderly as it may be too challenging for them unless if they are fit and healthy.
Hillary C — Google review
Beautiful spot for sunset viewing. 720 steps to the top. Took only 15 mins to go up (for a fit person with no breaks, at a leisurely pace). Well worth the trip! Stunning panoramic views of Coron.

Beautiful view of Coron Bay. Accessible and a steep yet comfortable hike. 10-20 minutes depending on your speed and fitness.
Carmen M — Google review
Must-see if you are in Coron. Worth for both sunrise and sunset. Great for active and non-active people alike. Just be aware that it is a 700+ steps per way. Breathe taking view of the whole town and all the islands nearby.
Armando ( — Google review
Climbing the 720 steps might be hard but reaching the top is totally satisfying! Give it a try to visit Mt. Tapyas.
Mark M — Google review
My highlight of coron. Amazing staircase hike, can reach summit in 10 minutes with no break if you are fit. If you aren't there's plenty of rest stops and viewpoints on the way up so you can take it at your own pace. There's super friendly cats at the top that are so cute, pretty sure the council feed them but bring them a snack if you feel like it, they deserve it. View is absolutely to die for, full sweeping 360 view of coron and the surrounding islands, perfect no matter the weather, almost better when it's just been raining as there is no people. Big cross and Hollywood style "coron" sign at the top that they light up at night.
Jack E — Google review
The 700 plus steps up to the top is all worth it. Go for the views, if not that, then for the exercise, because there's a lot of food places that you gotta eat at when you get to Coron.

Siete Pecados Marine Park is a renowned snorkeling destination near Coron town proper, featuring seven small islets with a rich marine life and biodiversity. The name 'Siete Pecados' translates to 'Seven Sins,' originating from the legend of seven sisters who drowned here, forming the present-day islets. Despite its eerie backstory, the park offers fascinating beauty and vibrant marine life.
This place is out of this world! I wouldn’t recommend it more. Feels like you’re inside of one ocean documentary!! We saw three turtles and soooo many starfish. The corals are beautiful and rich. Joel was our captain for the tour and he guided us inside of the water the whole time. He showed us the most beautiful places in Siete Pecados! Look for him during your day tour :) he’s awesome.

It is composed of 7 islands. Part of tour A , ultimate tour. This is a snorkeling site, great corals, there are also sea turtles here, and well maintained. No docking area where you can go down. Boat is just floating in the middle. Entrance fee is Php 150.

The best place to snorkel, 1000 peso for a boat rental and you get a helper who can help you find great places to snorkel. We got Vincent and he was amazing guide on where to find the best corals. Starfish, urchins, beautiful corals, name it and you have it here.
Auld S — Google review
Siete Pecados was one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I plunged into its crystal-clear waters, I was surrounded by vibrant coral gardens and schools of fish weaving effortlessly through the currents. It felt like stepping into a hidden, living masterpiece—where the ocean itself tells stories through its beauty. The tranquility and sheer wonder of the place made me lose track of time, just floating, marveling at the underwater world beneath me. If you ever get the chance, dive in—you won’t regret it!
Manuel S — Google review
There's a beautiful reef so it's a great place for diving or snorkeling. No crowds, it's not touristy at all. I booked the tour on the same day and no waiting time.

Great snorkeling. Got to see many fish and even a turtle. Our boat captain and his son swam with us to make sure we were safe. We’re on the older side :).

It was so beautiful here. We took the kayak by ourselves which was 250PHP per Person for 4 hours. We were mostly alone there and explored the small cave and did snorkeling. The coral reef was really beautiful and we also saw a turtle.

Spent 2 hours snorkelling here with friends on a private boat. Great experience with no crowds. Approx 300-400 pesos for snorkelling gear, boat, captain access FYI trikes from town cost 700-1000pesos return though… but driver will wait for you :)

Bulog Dos Island, located in the Malaroyroy Peninsula near Bulalacao, is a popular stop for island-hopping tours in Coron. Visitors can walk on a sandbar and enjoy breathtaking tropical views. The island features pristine white sands, clear turquoise waters, and colorful marine life. Despite its remote and undeveloped nature, it offers stunning natural beauty. A short climb to the top of a small cliff provides magical panoramic views of the surrounding private islands and crystal-clear waters.
A day long visit to just three islands. And as a private trip before the more crowded join a group boats arrival meant there was just 4 people across several strips of stunning white sand beach and seas of multiple shades of blue on Bulog Dos. Picture perfect with opportunity to stroll around, except the stretch of private beach, and have a relaxing swim.
Kevin S — Google review
This is not a report from a sour grape...it is simply the bare facts and truth that I myself and hundreds of other foreign tourist have experienced recently about the terrible destinations being pushed by local authorities in Coron Palawan! Be aware that several islands are being included in an island hopping tour from Coron. One of those islands is Bulog Dos Island. You have the option of taking a group island hopping tour for 1,900 pesos each, (about 20 people per group). Or take a private tour for 5,000 pesos per person. The organizers will tell you it is about an hour and half travel time, one way, to the first island in the tour, but the truth is it will take every bit of 2 hours plus! Then after paying 10,000 pesos for a private tour for two people traveling 2 hours in a pump boat, you arrive at Bulog Dos. The second island in the tour is nothing more than a sand bar, (Ditaytayan Island), and the third island is a local garbage dump, (Malcapuya Island). Now don't get me wrong...on Bulog Dos there is a very small, narrow stretch of white sand and the water was amazingly beautiful...(like hundreds, if not thousands of other beaches in Coron)...but other than that, there is absolutely NOTHING at this island! OK...let me get this straight...I paid 10,000 pesos for two people to sit on a hard wooden seat in a little pump boat, for more than two hours of travel, (one way), passing up dozens and dozens of other beautiful beaches with great swimming and snorkeling just to go to Bulog Dos Island and find absolutely nothing there, along with stops at a sand bar and a trash dump...nothing special, no great views, no special attractions, nothing...just places to stop and swim next to all the dead trees and trash for large amounts of money paid? An island hopping tour is supposed to be a small group of islands with special or unique destinations or attractions that offer one of a kind memories...not just another swimming hole Don't be a victim!!!!! There is nothing wrong with island hopping tours but in my vastly experienced travel around the World, Bulog Dos was the most worthless island destination of all time!!!!! The people who operate this island will probably not like this review...but I tell the truth no matter how painful it might be!
Rick B — Google review
This island located in Coron along with the bigger island is famous for its clean beaches and it's pure waters and is also home to some well known resorts such as two seasons resorts and it's great when you want to relax but keep that in mind that the stay here is very expensive about 24K pesos per night so it's not good for the people who on a budget but there are some areas of the island that have resorts that cost less. This is part of the island hopping tourist package which include seeing a couple more tourist attractions but the boat is pretty noisy (recommended to bring your own noise cancellers ) and to enjoy the beauty of Coron Overall the place is nice for relaxing in the waters and enjoy the beaches but not for budget trips (recommended to go to cheaper beaches
Kyle_58 — Google review
Visit during low tide so you can see the sand bar. The island itself if beautiful and perfect for picturel taking. Theres a viewing deck up the hill to capture the scenery. We did some swimming here and enjoy the sandbàr.
Aimee L — Google review
You can walk from the Two Seasons Resort. The entrance fee is 200 pesos, but they don't ask for it, but if you ask for it, you will get it. The atmosphere of similar islands in many countries is similar, but it is different and better when you visit again. I hope it is not developed. Aqua shoes are essential. It is a resort of healing and killing.
Manila M — Google review
This island is so beautiful with white sandy beaches, a beautiful sandbar, crystal clear water . Really a paradise island by itself. This is almost 2 hour by boat from the main island of Coron. My family rented a tour boat and its nice because you have your own schedule . When we went there there's pretty much not a lot of people. We snorkeled and the water was so clear and a lot of fish and corals. Our tour guide even prepared our lunch for us with fresh seafood and vegetables typical Filipino dish. A beautiful island worth visiting when you're in Coron, Palawan, Philippines..

Nice beach spot (duh!). The nice thing about this beach is that there are some nice additions for taking photos like strategically placed benches and swings. The snorkeling was also enjoyable as well, though nothing to write home about.

Nestled in a serene setting surrounded by mangroves, Maquinit Hot Spring is a must-visit destination near Coron Town. Accessible by hiking, tricycle, or as part of a guided tour, this saltwater hot spring offers a relaxing experience for travelers. Whether you've been snorkeling, diving, or exploring the nearby islands, unwinding in the warm pools at Maquinit Hot Spring is the perfect way to soothe tired muscles.
A “hot” spot in Coron! Pool might get crowded but when we went, it wasn’t too much. It can get really hot in the pool. That’s why it’s suggested to do intervals going in and out. A must visit, especially after your tours to sooth the muscles.
Adrian — Google review
The last stop for the land tour but can also be accessible by tricycle. It is a large hot spring and luckily when we visited, it was not too crowded and was able to enjoy it. It is only good for soaking and not for swimming. The good thing is there are rules around to follow. Besides that, the place also has mangroves which is overlooking the sea. The hot spring is relaxing after a very long day. Make sure to bring extra clothes for changing or a towel as it can get uncomfortable commuting when still wet. The best time to visit is when the sun starts to set so it would not be too hot for the hot spring.
Hillary C — Google review
Nice for relaxing. Part of town tour, but you can just rent tricycle or motor going here. Entrance fee as of date is Php300. Well maintained spring. No shower area, only misting/cooling area. There are a lot of changing/Restroom.

I loved my visit to Maquinit Hot Spring. It’s a natural hot spring and such a relaxing spot. Getting there takes about a 20-minute motorcycle ride, and the road can get muddy and slippery, so just take it slow. But honestly, the moment you arrive, you’ll forget about the rough road — the place is absolutely worth it. Entrance is 300 pesos, cash only. Super refreshing experience!
Juju M — Google review
Nice natural hot spring facility. Lots of space to lounge with one large pool area plus a few smaller pools. Misting area available. 300₽ entrance fee. Road leading up to the hot spring is a little rough if travelling by tricycle but is manageable. Bring your own towel. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.

We came here around 6 PM. My friend told me the road was rough and muddy, and we were using her motorcycle, so we expected we might slip since it had been raining. But we still made it, and it was totally worth it—the place is beautiful! It’s different from the hot springs we have in Laguna. This hot spring in Coron is definitely something I’d come back to. Hopefully, by the time I return, the road will be fixed because that’s really the main problem

Awesome reef. It's colorful and very diverse. It starts at 1 meter or less and goes down slowly so it's a great spot for everyone. Basically you can't decide in which direction you want to watch just not to miss anything. I spotted a turtle there.

Coron Island is a rugged and captivating destination known for its popular dive sites, including WWII shipwrecks, caves, and reefs. The island features pristine lakes such as Barracuda and Kayangan, offering clear mixed fresh and saltwater environments with visible thermoclines and abundant aquatic life. Surrounded by tiny white sand beaches, limestone cliffs, and extensive reefs for snorkeling, the island is managed sustainably by an indigenous tribe to prevent pollution.
Coron is must see in the Philippines please have your trip managed by some who know the area. We stayed at the Zuri Resort, I recommend this place.

A stunning collection of boat rides in Coron Island, Palawan—gliding through crystal-clear turquoise waters under brilliant blue skies. Majestic limestone and lush island mountains frame the scene, accompanied by the soothing sounds of paddles, motor boats, and gentle splashes of water.

Lagoons, lakes, coral reef, water so clear it is unbelievable. Snorkeling the Reef was amazing. Beautiful fish and coral. Tropical escape on a private tour. Includes Barracuda lake, hot lunch and soft drink or water. Tour guide, boat pilot, deck hand, 5-6 destinations. You're gonna love it! P.S. The coral shown in these pics of this particular review is NOT the coral you will see if you snorkel the reef. The Reef is much nicer! Have fun!

One of the most beautiful islands we visited and is rich of natural resources and clear waters. We loved the place as the islands, coral reefs and lakes were protected and well maintained even with the number of tourists visiting the place. The trip going to the airport could take a few hours which is a hassle and we even noticed how restaurants/cafes are expensive because of how high their service charge is. This is the best place to do island hopping, snorkeling or even diving which is best for adventurous people. The people are kind and tour guides were full of energy making our experience more fun. The place might be difficult for the elderly, persons woth disability and children because of how tiring the activities can be. Staying on the town proper can also be a bit boring as there is not much to see. That is why it is best for island tours.

Coron Island in the Philippines is a breathtaking paradise that left me in awe. As a tourist, I was amazed by its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and hidden lagoons. Kayangan Lake, with its unbelievably clear water, was a highlight of my trip. Snorkeling and diving around vibrant coral reefs and World War II shipwrecks was an unforgettable experience. The island’s natural beauty is truly untouched, and the boat tours offer a perfect way to explore its many gems. The locals were warm and welcoming, adding to the charm. Coron is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers!

This was such a beautiful island to visit, there are many unique and beautiful sites to see. Lots of beach time and if you rent a boat you can go shopping for ingredients and they will cook it up for you. This was such an amazing experience and visiting this island was definitely worth it. Check out the pictures it’s a really cool spot to visit during your trip. Would recommend it.

Busuanga Island, part of the Calamian Group of Islands in Palawan, is a serene destination known for its picturesque bays, hiking trails, and crystal-clear waters that attract divers. While often referred to as Coron due to the town on the island, it's important to note that Busuanga is the main island. The highest peak in this group of islands is Mt. Darala, offering a challenging hike with stunning views.
A heaven on earth. This island is so peaceful. This is the base island for Coron visit. City is very nice, people here are good. You can do shopping in genuine rates. You can buy wooden mask, handcraft items which is famous here. You can also do massages here, which are cheap and good.

We stayed in Coron. And the islands that we visited were stunning. The airport is really small and not well maintained.
JessicaM P — Google review
Busuanga is the northernmost of the three major island groupings of the Calamianes Group of Islands. As such, it is also unique in that Busuanga sits at a latitude high enough to place it within the "typhoon belt" which cuts through the upper part of the Philippine Archipelago - significant also is the fact that in November of 2013, super-typhoon HAIYAN (locally known as "YOLANDA") exited the country passing squarely over Busuanga, leaving in its wake a lot of destruction of natural and man-made property. Busuanga is such a beautiful island, and until quite recently, not well known to travellers. Not many would know that Busuanga is in fact the name of the island whose capital, Coron IS, world famous for being the jumping-off point for the many daily tour boats which ferry hoards of tourists the short, 15min trip to neighbouring CORON island (from which the town gets its name). Do a separate search for CORON ISLAND - I plan to soon write a review about this gem of an island. Busuanga is divided into two municipalities: Coron to the east, and Busuanga to the west. There is an airport (Francisco B. Reyes Airport) located centrally, at the northeastern extremity of the Busuanga territory. A 25min van ride gets air travellers from the airport to Coron Town - where most of the more budget-friendly inns and hotels are located. Coron Town is tiny, and quite cramped, easy to get around by just walking, or, jumping onto a local "tricycle" for a few pesos. Not very picturesque, nor what I would describe as "quaint", Coron, as a central hub, does manage to get the job done. Population, approximately 30,000. Busuanga Town, and the neighboring "Old Busuanga" Town, are located on the southwest corner of Busuanga Island, a more rugged and picturesque side of the island. A new road cuts through the west-central mountainous region to shorten the travel time to the airport. Both Busuanga towns are far less developed, but much more pleasant, should one decide to get off the beaten path. As is obvious so far, I have spent a lot of time travelling all throughout the island, and have visited every small village scattered throughout, on the coast and within the interior. Rent a motorbike and explore, - no way to get lost on this small land mass, you'll always somehow find your way back to your hotel. Enjoy Busuanga. I can't get enough of it! 😀

Smith Coral Garden is a snorkeler's paradise, featuring a shallow coral reef that lies just beneath the surface, making it accessible for everyone. You don’t need diving gear to explore its vibrant underwater world filled with diverse corals and an array of colorful fish. While there are numerous fantastic snorkeling spots around Coron, Smith Coral Garden stands out for its stunning marine life. The warm and clear waters offer excellent visibility, perfect for spotting everything from lively fish to sea stars and even the occasional sea turtle.
Best what I saw in my life. Amazing clear water, most beautiful reef that I saw. Definitely recommend to visit. Remember SUN is so strong, take long sleeves with you, do not get burned even from the morning.

Snorkeling haven that offers a vibrant underwater spectacle. This shallow reef area is teeming with a diverse array of coral formations and marine life, making it a perfect spot for beginners and seasoned snorkelers alike. The clear, warm waters provide excellent visibility, allowing visitors to easily spot colorful fish, sea stars, and perhaps even sea turtles. It is is accessible via boat tours, which often include stops at other nearby attractions. It's a less crowded alternative to more popular spots, ensuring a peaceful and immersive experience with nature. Remember to respect the underwater environment and avoid touching the corals to preserve the beauty of this marine sanctuary.

Part of the Coron “Super Ultimate Tour,” and during the weekdays, it’s almost as if we had the place to ourselves. Only 2 boats carrying approximately 20 to 23 people each, there was plenty of space to snorkel. Our boat had a life preserver and non-swimmers can hold on to that with their life jackets and snorkeling masks on and you will see an amazing view under water. Plenty of corals and fishes that just take your breath away! There is no beach or deck to dock on so it was from the boat to the water, and from the water to the boat here.
Anni E — Google review
Tip: rent a private boat and come here during lunch time where no one will disturb you. We got to snorkel all by ourselves and we got to see a variety of sea life - tiny fishes, big fishes, all sorts of coral.

Concepcion Falls, located in the lush rainforest near Coron, offers a serene escape into nature. A short trek leads to a viewing platform overlooking the cascading falls, surrounded by vibrant greenery and the soothing sound of rushing water. While not prominently marked, visitors can use Google Maps to find the rocky path leading to this hidden gem.
This was awesome. Simply beautiful. Very few people when we went. Island people were very friendly. Donation box to help the natives. Well worth it.
Brenda P — Google review
Won't call it a Waterfall, but there's a statue of Virgin Mary at the falls so I have to give them 5 stars for that, short walk in the jungle. Lacks direction and we were the only ones there. The walk was nice but didn't feel safe. Donation based. There's a box when you arrive there and leave inside what you wish. No signs to get to it either so we only used maps while traveling around the island.
Sarah S — Google review
Not the biggest waterfall but nice for getting out of town for q refreshing dip. Easy 10 minute walk. It’s on private land so make sure you leave a little donation.
IBAMF 5 — Google review
It’s free entry but the family at the front asking for donation because they clean up the area so I’m happy to. Went twice during my stay 8am in the morning for a cold dip. Very refreshing and no one else around. I enjoyed it very much.
Valerie Y — Google review
Can’t really call it a waterfall. It’s just very small one. And yes, it is a scammer that tried to take donations when you’re walking in, but I didn’t pay anything.( it’s FREE) I just walked past them. They have changing room and a toilet, but it looked really disgusting. I was there totally alone so that’s why it’s three star if it was crowded probably just too stars.
Iwan A — Google review
Beautiful waterfall set back from the road about a 15 minute walk, requires a donation to locals as is part of private property. It’s about a 45 min drive from the Coron town but the road is easy to drive down with beautiful scenery and small little stores and restaurants Small waterfall but lovely to swim in
Lauren S — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous. Plants galore. Tranquil sound of falls and water dripping off rocks and roots. Locals in town said it wasn't worth the trip because of dry season. It was amazing anyway, glad we didn't listen. Water was about 7 feet in the deepest part, and very chilly and refreshing. Wonderfully shaded as well. No entrance fee.
Maria B — Google review
READ… There are several people there that try to make you pay to go in but it is free. There is a man with a store at the beginning of trail that says you must donate in order to enter but he is a liar and a thief. When I went there, there was another man at the end of the trail charging people again. I talked with someone who works for the natural parks of Palawan and the local police, and they said entry is free and anyone charging is a scammer. These people do not keep the area clean they just sit there collecting money from scamming tourists. There is trash all along the trail. Don’t let these people take advantage of you they are not nice people. As soon as I learned it’s a scam I politely asked for my money back and he got aggressive and physical. With that aside the falls are a pretty nice place to swim and get a break from the heat.

Airport
Francisco B. Reyes Airport, located on Coron's main highway, is a small but convenient airport for this island destination. It's just a 20-minute drive from the airport to TAG RESORT and only 10 minutes from downtown Coron. Travelers should be prepared to pay a 200 piso environmental fee upon exiting the airport after arrival. Restrooms are available before entering the airport, and transport vans are readily available outside.
As soon as we arrive 200 pesos per head environmental fee or else you cant get out. lol 😂 then 250 pesos one way van transfer to town center or your hotel. Facilities should beimproved. no seats inside for departing passengers. you need to board first before you can enter and sit inside plus very strict with luggage especially the hand carry. waiting area outside with sheds are rusted. when we departed electricity was lost. amazing! 😅

Francisco B. Reyes Airport is a small but well-organized airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making the travel experience smooth and pleasant. The airport is clean, with well-maintained washrooms. The check-in process is quick. A good experience overall.
Dewan A — Google review
We did not go directly to Coron. We stayed in a diving resort in Busuanga for our dugong dive. The only available transportation is a private van transfer which costs P1500 one way. Coming back to the airport, the hostels can help arrange the shared transfer for P250 per person. The airport is not that big and if you have some time before your flight, the restaurants outside the airport are quite interesting. Since the departure waiting area is not big, it can get crowded and noisy during peak hours of travel.
Ia L — Google review
Tiny airport but runs fairly well. Need to pay 200PHP environment fee when you leave the airport so make sure you have cash! Plus there are vans waiting to take new arrivals to their hotels and you need to pay 250PHP cash to the driver when you get to your destination. Airport toilets are dodgy. Most stalls had something broken.. But it was clean enough. A few stores inside selling cup noodles and snacks etc. plus a cafe with drinks and pasta, and a couple restaurants outside the airport. No air conditioning in the airport but the huge ceiling fans keep it cool and well ventilated.
Jas L — Google review
Small but ok airport. Has everything you need. Easy to get in and out. Lots of shops and places to eat inside and outside the airport. 200 environmental fee. 250 pesos per person to downtown.

Francisco B. Reyes Airport, Coron: The Humble Gateway to Paradise Francisco B. Reyes Airport (USU), often still affectionately called Busuanga Airport by many, is more than just a landing strip; it's the humble, yet essential, portal to the breathtaking wonders of Coron, Palawan. For me, this small airport holds a unique place in my travel memories, marking the beginning and end of some truly unforgettable adventures. A Glimpse into its Past: The airport's history is rooted in the generosity of a local leader. It's named after Francisco B. Reyes, who served as the Mayor of Coron from 1936 to 1939. He was the kind soul who donated the very land upon which this vital gateway stands today. Before its renaming in 2008 by Presidential Proclamation No. 1665, it was simply known as Busuanga Airport, reflecting its location on Busuanga Island, which it shares with the municipality of the same name. Over the years, Francisco B. Reyes Airport has seen several phases of development. Early on, it was quite basic, with some sections of the runway even being gravel. I remember tales of flights being delayed due to the condition of the runway, a testament to how far it has come. Major upgrades began in the mid-2000s, with a new terminal building and the completion of a concrete runway. While it was severely damaged by Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in 2013, the resilience of the local community and government quickly brought it back to operational status. More recent plans include further expansion to accommodate larger aircraft and even nighttime operations, a sign of Coron's growing popularity. My Personal Memories: My memories of Francisco B. Reyes Airport are less about its architectural grandeur and more about the feelings it evokes. It's the sense of exhilarating anticipation upon landing, the clear blue sky above, and the lush green landscape that immediately tells you you've arrived somewhere special. I remember the refreshing blast of tropical air as I stepped off the plane, a stark contrast to the air-conditioned cabin. There are no airbridges here; you walk directly onto the tarmac, a charmingly simple arrival that feels distinctly "island life." I recall the friendly faces of the locals, whether it was the van drivers waiting to whisk us away to Coron town, or the airport staff who always seemed to have a genuine smile. The terminal building, though not sprawling, has a laid-back, open-air feel. I've spent pleasant moments there, sipping a quick coffee from one of the small stalls, eagerly looking at the souvenir shops filled with local crafts, and just soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. The departure experience is equally memorable. It's often a bit bittersweet, leaving behind the stunning islands and crystal-clear waters. But even then, there's a unique charm. The small check-in counters, the hand-tagging of luggage, and the final walk across the tarmac back to the plane – it all contributes to a truly local and authentic travel experience. I remember looking back at the simple structure, knowing that it had faithfully served as my entry and exit point to a slice of paradise. Francisco B. Reyes Airport is not a high-tech marvel, and it doesn't need to be. Its charm lies in its simplicity, its efficiency as a gateway to an extraordinary destination, and the personal touch it offers. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most memorable journeys begin and end in the most unassuming of places. For me, it's more than just an airport; it's a collection of cherished beginnings and heartfelt goodbyes to Coron.
Neil C — Google review
It's a small airport so don't expect too much from it. Checked in baggages are placed in the ground so you just have to look for your bags in the area. Arriving was okay but for the departure it was so crowded that the line was so long and it was taking a lot of time. The airport staff even had to call my phone as it was already boarding and we were still on the line. Luckily, he was just beside me and they waited. Take note, we arrived two hours before our flight. So lesson learned, better to arrive at the airport three hours in advance as the influx of tourists is unpredictable.
Hillary C — Google review
Small but well organised airport. At the exit there is a guy with megaphone. If you have the transport arrangements done, he will ask which hotel and whoever is there to pick you up, will find you within a second. There is a 200 php environmental fee to pay while leaving the airport.

The lake's crystal-clear waters reveal intriguing rock formations beneath the surface, making it a popular spot for diving and snorkeling.
200+ steps of stairs to go up & down, total about 400+, it’s very tiring… I didn’t know that, if I knew, would skip this site in my customized private tour. The lake is nice but not stunning, warm clear water, not that many fishes, but lots of people. If not fit or bad knees, might as well skip this. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Kajy Travel and Tours, booking three private tours with them during our time in Coron. From start to finish, everything was top-notch — super professional, incredibly friendly, and everything ran smoothly. A huge thank you to our trusted guide, Edgil Osmena, and the wonderful boat crew, who were not only fun and helpful but also went above and beyond to make each day special. One major highlight: the food! Each tour featured a different delicious spread — from fresh seafood to grilled meats and tropical fruits — all prepared onboard and served in the most beautiful beach settings. Absolutely the best meals we had in Coron. We explored incredible snorkeling spots, hidden lagoons via kayak, and swam in crystal-clear lakes. Taking the private boat tours was the perfect decision — we avoided the crowds and had the flexibility to explore at our own pace. Calachuchi Beach became our favourite lunch stop — picture-perfect and peaceful. The marine life and coral were stunning, and the overall experience was unforgettable. We’re already dreaming of coming back and will definitely rebook with the same guide and crew. Thank you, Kajy, for such a fantastic and memorable trip — highly recommended again and again!

Excellent experience on our trip to Coron, Palawan this past weekend. We took a full day private boat tour with KAJY complete with hotel pickup and drop off. The staff asked us our preferences and helped us come up with an itinerary we were excited about. We visited 5 different locations including Skeleton Wreck (ww2 shipwreck), Barracuda Lake and lunch at Smith Island. Our picnic lunch cooked by Jason was “chef’s kiss” with fresh mangoes, eggplant salad, grilled fish and chicken plus lumpia! Our guide Maynard was well informed and assisted some of us who had injuries with mobility on/off boat and sites, took photos of our group and was an all around helpful guide. Captain Jun capably drove us around and respected all the local rules regarding environment and safety. They helped arrange for us to rent snorkels/fins/kayaks which were essentials on our boat tour of beautiful Coron. Highly recommend KAJY tour experience and their excellent staff!

Wow! What a fantastic tour and 5 stars all the way. I am confident this is the BEST boat tour company in Coron. I only wish I went with them for my first day too (I went with a different company the first day and Kajy was world's better). First, the boat itself was beautiful and comfortable. The food was fantastic and they catered to my dietary needs. They completely tailored the tour for what I liked. And everyone on board was SO nice. Meynard was my tour guide and he was the best ever. So friendly, so nice, so knowledgeable, so flexible. When the tour was technically over at 5 pm, he saw I was sad it was ending and let us go to one more stop! They also brought out the hammock for me to lie down on the ride and let me have lunch in a gorgeous spot. Was a perfect day.

Some highlights of our experience: - all the tour stops were stunningly beautiful and the water was perfect. They were all worth going to! - a private tour allowed us to go at our desired pace, whether we wanted to stay at a stop longer or shorter. It was totally stress-free! - we were totally blown away by the lunch (feast!) that was prepared for us. We don’t know how the guys did it, it was like magic. And the food was delicious! - Jhay taught us about the island and we were laughing with him the whole day. He also took some beautiful photos and videos of us that we will cherish forever. Just a note to future travelers: You pay for the tour at the START of the day either by cash or card. We decided to pay by cash to avoid the 5% fee. However, you pay for all the optional rental items (for us - two snorkels, two pairs of water shoes and a kayak) at the END of the day and THERE IS NO OPTION TO PAY BY CARD THEN. Flagging this so you are prepared to cover this additional cost AND the tip by cash (because these guys deserve a great tip for great service!) We wish we had just paid by card at the start of the day if we had known this.

Unforgettable Experience with Kajy Travel and Tours! Our 3 tours with Kajy Travel and Tours Coron were absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Coron. There were even (for us) some wonderful surprises that made our trip even more special! A huge thank you to our guide, Meynard – he was not only incredibly friendly and welcoming but also extremely knowledgeable. He always took our wishes into account and amazed us with fascinating insights we would have never discovered on our own. His passion for the nature and culture of Coron was truly inspiring! Thank you for three unforgettable days filled with incredible experiences – we will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next tour with you!

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! It was super social and was able to meet lots of new people. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The events held in the evenings were really fun. Big shout out to Jett and Lester! Absolute legends. They were super lovely and welcoming! They always came with such high energy and it was clear how much they cared about everyone! Thank you for being so kind and making my stay so fun!❤️ I would definitely recommend this hostel to others!

We stayed in Outpost in a private room, it was stunning, very spacious and had a tv with Netflix etc. We chose this hostel as we were doing the boat exhibition from Coron to El Nido. Staff were amazing, especially one of our guides Tony , he looked after us all so well, even after the exhibition was over and we had arrived in El Nido. There’s a stunning view from the rooftop pool and vibes we’re just great. Drinks and food were also good! We also did trip A with the company when we arrived in El Nido and it was also super ! Can’t recommend enough !

Very great hostel. Highly recommended and great experience. Service is great, great people work there! Very clean everything. Stayed in a 4 bed room and it was very good. Will definitely go there again to see the people again. Pool and bar is also great and a great evening program. Really nice!

Definitely the place for a true hostel island experience! The service has been great, and it’s perfect for solo travelers or anyone looking for a fun, social vibe. This stay was unforgettable,, mostly because of the amazing people I met. I’d definitely come back if I visit Coron again!

Nice view from the rooftop with a pool. Great tasting food, however a little expensive. Beds were very uncomfortable, however modern rooms. Just need something flat on the rails so your butt doesn’t sink! Bit of a funny smell throughout the place but they do have automatic smelly sprays that help. Location is not ideal unless you’re planning on just doing tours and staying at the hostel, or you have your own transport. Service was great, and the staff were friendly.

Had the best time with the best people. I only had a short time but was able to make the most out of it. Everybody is inclusive and making sure nobody is left behind. I'm a solo traveler, but was able to meet great people. Going to miss everyone especially the staff Riza, Rena, Ricci, Jet, Lester, Lovely, Emil, Jo, Djany and everyone else. Thank you so much. Outpost Hostel in Coron is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a social atmosphere and stunning views. The staff and guests were super friendly, and with different activities every night, it was really easy to meet people and have fun. The rooftop pool is a highlight. We stayed in a private room which was spacious, clean, and had a great bathroom. The bar serves food and drinks, and we booked the Super Ultimate Tour through the hostel, which was incredible—so much snorkeling and amazing food set up and great views. Renting a scooter from nearby made it easy to get into town for dinner, just a short 5-minute drive and essential to explore. Unfortunately, our departure experience left a bad taste. I asked to book the ferry to El Nido for the next day and was told to be at reception at 7 AM and I will get my ticket then. When I arrived, I was informed I had only booked a transfer to the port—not the actual ferry. It was a frustrating miscommunication that ended up costing me triple the price to fly last minute as it was then sold out for the whole day, and the staff didn’t acknowledge the mistake or apologize. Overall, it’s a fantastic hostel with great vibes and amenities—just double-check anything you book through reception.

Banana Island, also known as Dicalabuan Island, is a romantic getaway with isolated bungalows over the water and swings hanging from old trees. Couples can snorkel hand-in-hand and explore the reefs together. The island offers stunning blue waters along its coast and visitors can walk around the entire island in about ten minutes. It's part of popular island-hopping trips from Coron and has more amenities for overnight stays.
Banana island located in Coron is famous for its snorkeling it's clear waters and it's relaxing landscape in the beaches I stayed there for one night and the place was great snorkeling was my favorite the corals and the fishes and wildlife were all beautiful showing nature's untouched Beauty the clear waters and the landscape was serene and feels like its not real. There were lots of tourists here and this place was really famous with lots of different people the staff were friendly and the rooms were beautiful and magical the wooden building here suit with the magical aspect of the island although a abundance of people makes it not beautiful. This is part of the island hopping tourist package which include seeing a couple more tourist attractions but the boat is pretty noisy (recommended to bring your own noise cancellers ) and to enjoy the beauty of Coron Overall the place is nice for relaxing and chill and to see the beautiful fishes and corals although I recommend being there when it's not crowded

Banana Island, the second stop for that whole day island escapade. The others are Bulog Dos and Malcapuya. This was the best for me, as perfect for swimming. There’s a lot to see for snorkeling as well. Imagine locals living near who can just take their boats and spend the whole day here. There’s enough room for a lot of people.
Yola — Google review
Super quiet overnight stay (just two of us, and the habitants of the island), the beach hut is basic but you have a very pleasant experience overall. The owner is welcoming, and prepared us a good dinner even thought we didn't let him know in advance (you should as the place is so remote!). Contact them on Facebook to organise your stay.

We had a lovely time at Banana Island with my family. We visited in June 2023, and could only stay for 1 night due to limited time in Qatar. I would recommend 2 nights minimum OR a day pass. They were late checking us in to the hotel which was quite inconvenient due to the limited time we had, however, they offered us a later check out the next day and we were able to make use of this. It was really family friendly, the kids club was great and the water slides were enough to keep the child entertained. When we needed milk for the baby they would come and drop this off. It was lovely experience and I would recommend it, especially for families. I think it could get boring after a few days.

DK's Inn offers a unique and welcoming experience for travelers. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a warm welcome and handed the key without the hassle of a check-in process. The staff is not only extremely helpful but also engaging, making time for coffee in the morning and sharing interesting stories. The rooms are basic yet impeccably clean, equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning and reliable WiFi.
We had a great stay at this hotel! The entire property, including our room, was exceptionally clean. The location is perfect—just a short walk from shops and restaurants, yet tucked away from the main street, so it’s quiet at night. We met three staff members during our stay, and all of them were incredibly kind and helpful. They even lent us a snorkeling mask free of charge and assisted us in organizing a boat trip. Highly recommended!

DK’s inn is a great place to stay. The family who runs it are lovely. The rooms are simple and clean, with strong air conditioning and water pressure. They have options to order in for breakfast, offer coffee/water refills at the beverage station, and have a rooftop public lounging area as well as laundry drying area. DK’s Inn in a great location and a great value for the price, the owners are ready to assist with anything you need. The only suggestion I have would be to provide tea at the beverage station for non coffee drinkers. Thanks for a great stay in Coron!

I found DK's Inn through an online blogger and she was raving about the exceptional service! DK's Inn truly lives up to this reputation - our family is treated like we have been friends for a long time. They look after us from the moment we made the booking, organising our transfers and with everything we need for our boat tours, souvenir shopping. The facilities are spotless clean, very cute rooms and all airconditioned. Location is minutes away from everything. We love our stay and we wish we can still longer (we leave tomorrow). Highly recommend. Thank you DK's Inn for a memorable holiday in Coron.

stayed with my wife and 4 boys at DK’s Inn during our 5-day stay at Coron during the low season in early July. When we first booked the stay, we were a bit impressed that the hostel could really have an average rating of 9.6/10 on booking.com, but we quickly realized why; the place is clean and tidy, and has lounging area on all of its 3 floors. The rooms had good beds, private toilets, aircondition and fans, which made it a very comfortable stay. The place also had a big cooler with a large variety of beverages that were restocked frequently. You could grab a water or a soda from there anytime, and it would just be put on the final tab of the stay. But apart from all of the specific details about the place itself, the thing that made it particularly extraordinary was the hosts. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted by Juan and his family who owned the place. They spoke great English and were very helpful, and me and the children were often talking with him about Philippinean culture, the history of Coron and more. Juan was always available, and helped arranging all of our tours, as well as renting scooters for us and bringing them directly to the front port of the hostel. Generally, the hostel is very friendly for western tourists, and offers the whole package for a great price. They have definitely earned their pristine rating, which we will gladly contribute to with this review, and if we ever find ourselves in Coron again, this is definitely the place where we will go.

Seven Falls offers a pleasant climate during the fall, with comfortable temperatures and occasional rainfall. The journey to the waterfalls is an adventure in itself, taking visitors through picturesque landscapes and offering glimpses of local wildlife. Accessible by scooter, the trail leading to the falls requires a short hike on rough terrain. Once there, visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere and even take a refreshing dip in the waters. However, it's important to be mindful of leaving no trace behind when visiting this natural wonder.
The best waterfall I’ve been to in ages. You can cliff jump. Slide. Swim. We got coconuts down from the tree. And we had it all to ourselves.
Scott H — Google review
It’s approximately one hour drive by motorcycle from coron town. It felt like you were really in the province going there. The banner was a little bit hard to see on the road. But the falls was really beautiful and there is some small fish in the mini lagoon. It’s only the local kids was there.
Ivy F — Google review
The waterfall itself was underwhelming. Folks couldn’t keep it clean and lots of trash around. I went on a day after heavy rain and the sediment likely made the water cloudy brown. Surely not the blue green water in previous pictures. Ok trek down from the main road but surely need sneakers and be careful. Best part was the ride there with some nice nature and local villages.
Eddie T — Google review
The journey to get to the waterfalls is half the fun in my opinion. 80% of the road is paved and takes you through fields of rice, bamboo forests and over all just impressive nature. I was lucky to get to see a monitor lizard just on the side of the road. At some point on the dirt roads, I parked my scooter and walked the rest on foot. When I got to the little path that takes you down to the waterfalls, I was lucky that some locals passed me and pointed me in the right direction, otherwise I might have missed it.
Nico H — Google review
These falls are a 5 if it wasn't for the fact that they're in the middle of nowhere and very, very hard to get there. The road there is hidden and if you're coming from the north road it's almost impossible to get through with a scooter, we were lucky to not get a flat tire. I've added some pictures below on where to go, basically, we came from the north road and just around where it's pointed out on google maps we found a road in which we took, it lead to a small farm and thankfully the mother there called her son to guide us right, without whom we would never have found it. He sped ahead on his bike and a few hundred meters down the road there was an almost invisible path leading in to the right, just before a sharp turn in the road and walking from there we got to the falls. The falls though were wonderful, not a soul in sight and completely untouched. A natural slide where you could fall into the deep waters and above the last (I suppose, of the seven) falls there was a path to the 2nd to last fall which though not in a swimmable state was very beatiful. We swam for a bit, jumping in and found the small "Dr. Fish" in the water biting off bits of scrap skin as we waded across to climb the fall.
David D — Google review
Nice and secluded waterfall. Google maps takes you right there where you need to park up your bike and a small sign points to the waterfall entrance. Roads are fine to get there from Coron town on a scooter. 100 pesos entrance per person. Looks like they’re working on improving it as they were putting together some picnic benches when we were there. Not busy at all , just a few locals. Great place to chill for a few hours👌
Simon B — Google review
Very relaxing, we saw one other guy here. 50p entry and you can jump from the cliff as well as sit down at a table if you bring your own food/water. There are small fish in the water, who could nibble on you to eat dead skin. No trash bin, bring it home with you.
Per L — Google review
Was very good, not a 5 star but we did not expect that. It’s near by the road, 5 minutes walk. Nice waterfall for a small swim.

Guests can enjoy delicious and freshly made food while visiting beautiful islands, beaches, and snorkeling locations. The 3D2N trip from Coron to El Nido is particularly highlighted as a perfect way to experience the beauty of the Philippines away from tourist crowds.
Beginnings of January we did the 3D2D Expedition with Tropical Paradise and had the best trip ever. Our crew (TP5) was amazing and the chef cooked the most delicious food and snacks ever. They were all super friendly, funny and attentive. The camps on the remotes island we stayed on were super cool, with fireplaces, basketball & volleyball courts and cute huts. The other attendees were also very nice and we all had a really good time together. I can highly recommend this tour :))

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing time on our 3-day, 2-night boat trip from El Nido to Coron! The crew was super friendly and made us feel right at home, the food was absolutely delicious, and every stop on those deserted beaches felt like a dream. The snorkeling was awesome—so many colorful corals and fish! The whole vibe on the boat was super chill, just good times with great people with also a lot of rhum 😂😍. Honestly, such an incredible experience. 10/10, would do it all over again! 🤙

Very welcoming family hostel but just don’t get your laundry done here! Only realised when I’d moved on that two pieces of clothing missing, they also packed other people’s socks in my laundry, and lost my roommates top! Showers could do with an update, and probably could do with social events in the evening to help meet people. All in all helpful and friendly hostel.

This hostel felt like coming home to a far away family. They are so nice, helpful and lovely people. Also they are next to the main town so everything is a 15 min walk. And just a street away from them is a beautiful area full of lights and a place where the Philippino children are coming together to play Sports. For a low price you get a hostel where you can feel safe and connect with others. Thanks for everything Don, Emily & the footprint family!!!

Don and Emily are family and own/run this hostel! They are fabulous! Warm and helpful, they keep the vibe of the place very relaxed! But the biggest compliment about them is that they continued their commitment of great service after I left! I forgot an item, and Don went through 3 different businesses/attempts and was successful in shipping the item to me at another place in the Philippines, and I **so appreciate him**! He was so kind and patient about it, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, both there and after! Thank you Don and Emily!! You make Footprints the kind of place that we smile about long after we leave! ♡♡

A great family run hostel. Located near to the town centre but 1 road removed from the hustle and bustle meaning you are guaranteed some peace when you need it. Large common area to chill and meet other travellers or talk to the wonderful family who own/run Footprints. They are very welcoming, they learn your name within moments and always offer a smile on your return to the hostel. Whilst the facilities are more basic than some hostels they are exactly what a traveller needs for a great price - comfy bed, AC, free coffee and water refills and the ability to book excursions and taxis/tricycles. A big thanks to Don and the family, I'd definitely stay again.

So many good things to say about my stay here! Clean, great WIFI, free coffee/tea, great a/c in the rooms, quiet and cheap breakfast and snorkel rentals. Host Don and his family immediately make you feel at home and learn the names of all guests off the bat (very impressive). When asked for recommended itineraries for the day, Don did not hesitate to give me the best advice. They really care about their guests and it shows. I am so grateful I got to stay at Footprints and had the opportunity to see their beautiful land and sea. Only wished I stayed longer! 5 stars!!

Staying at this hostel really saved my trip. I had ended up in the philipines somewhat by accident with no plans and found it difficult to plan a trip however the staff were very patient and helpful and sorted me out. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and other areas of the Philippines. Don the proprietor is a previous backpacker and helps to cultivate a great atmosphere. Close to town but about one street away from the busy area so the hostel is peaceful. I would highly recommend this hostel. Thanks Don and Emily!

We stayed here for longer than we planned due to cancelled ferries but it really felt like home and we were sad to leave. Helpful with booking excursions and tuk tuks, we couldn’t fault the place! Coron Summer Paradise Travel and Tours Inc. offers a range of tour packages for exploring the beautiful destination of Coron. The company provides options for both group tours and private tours, such as island hopping and town tours. Visitors can expect friendly and knowledgeable guides like Jayson who enhance the overall experience. The company's staff, including Ms. Alexandra Uy, is known for being polite, friendly, and helpful in assisting travelers with their trip planning needs from start to finish.
This is a great tour company! 7 of my friends and I (Germans & Americans) used this tour company in February to plan our day tours for a week. We did a combination of group tours and our own private tours (island hopping and town tour). We had a great time! I really recommend Jayson be your tour guide as he was knowledgeable, friendly, and an overall fun addition to our group. I suggest doing the private tours as you have much more control over where you go and how long your stops are. Because Jayson was so experienced we were able to beat the crowds at some spots and visit a few smaller islands. Coron is getting crowded now (I'd been once before) so this was a very impressive thing to do! The guide and the boat crew cooked us an amazing lunch each day plus provided drinks and a snack. Besides myself it was the rest of our first time in Coron and we are so grateful for how easy this tour company made our vacation. We will definitely tell anyone we know that comes to Coron to choose you! Thank you so much!!!!

Visited Coron last December 28, 2021- January 3, 2022. Our Tour Guide Ms. Faye, is very friendly and helpful. The tours were a collaboration between us. All the places we went were great. Even those areas/islands not popularly visited by tourists. Faye even prepared our suggested meals during the tour. She also recommended and assisted us where to have the best New Years party/dinner where she reserved tickets for us. She also helped us celebrate the surprise birthday celebrations of our 2 companions by ordering cakes and food. There were a few problems along the way but were resolved immediately. We were very well taken cared of Faye and her team. Highly recommendable.

Ms. Alexandra Uy of Coron Summer Paradise was first one to reply to my post looking for a day tour package for Coron for 3 days. Polite and very friendly, Ms. Alex helped us through our trip by providing us options to choose from depending on what we wanted out of the trip. She assisted us every step of the way, from pick up at the airport when we landed until we needed to be dropped off as we depart the island. We encountered problems with our flight and Ms. Alex was very reassuring. She made sure we still were on schedule despite our super delayed arrival. The tours she booked for us were well arranged and on time. We had no questions about anything because she really handled us properly - endorsing from one tour to another. Also, we really enjoyed our "Super Ultimate Tour!" Our guide "Jonelle" was uber accommodating and funny. Our goal in coming to Coron was to be free from stress and Coron Summer Paradise made it possible for us... with Ms. Alex, the staff and crew of Jim's Castle Inn, Jonelle, the staff at MO2 Westown Lagoon and Manong driver who took us around town. I definitely would come back and still contact Ms. Alex to arrange everything for me! Thank you Coron Summer Paradise! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When planning your visit to Coron in Palawan, consider spending a day exploring Coron Town. You can opt for a tour package that typically covers a town visit, a hike up Mt Tapyas, and a trip to Maquinit Hot Springs. While these activities are often included in guided tours, they are also easily accessible for independent exploration if you prefer to go at your own pace. However, if you're staying on another island, joining a tour might be more convenient.
