Spectacularly large and well-tended botanical garden. We spent several hours and could have spent more- so extensive the different collections. Spots to stop and rest, well-signed, mostly accessible with planning. There are stairs but those can be avoided. There are sections tailored to children and others for those who like modern sculpture or constructed points of interest. Specifically there are two “thrill” installations that allow visitors to overlook the garden mid-air.

A beautiful place with lots of original and rare flowers. I recommend going there with your friends, then it is interesting to explore. In addition, the castle in which the restaurant is located. Really stunning place.

We first found this delightful pizzeria 2 years ago. Visiting Merano again we had the opportunity to again visit Gasthof Pizzeria Tanner. The pizza was just as good as our first visit. Fantastic food with a delightful team serving. Thank you!
