Fine dining restaurant
Sissi is a renowned restaurant located in Merano, offering refined, multi-course menus and fine wines in an art nouveau dining room and wood-paneled parlor. Despite its sterile surroundings near Via dei Portici, the restaurant surprises diners with rustic regional dishes prepared with precision.
There are very few dinning experiences I have had in my life that can compare with the experience we had at Sissi. We have been to a few Michelin Star restaurants on our travels throughout the years in Europe and while there have been some highlights, I have never had the experience where every single dish was exceptional and memorable but here at Sissi it absolutely was. Andrea and his staff will make you feel like you were invited over to his house for dinner. Throughout the night he would go from table to table speaking to his guests in English, Italian and German which is hard enough to do in one language. His staff were attentive and kind as they explained each dish we ordered as they came out. The staff clearly has a pride for what they were doing. None of this felt forced. Every single thing we had here was memorable and delicious and made with the utmost care and love. The environment of the restaurant was wonderful as it was able to find that nice space between modern and old world with its decor and ambiance. Depending on what time of the year you visit, you might have a nice view of the Castello Principesco (Castle) across the street and the surrounding alps. The restaurant itself sits in the shadow of the mountains where the entrance to a nice walking path “Tappeinerweg” is right next to it. We dined a la carte and I had the following: Antipasti: Tataki di cinghiale, thin wild boar slices in mushroom sauce. While all the dishes were incredible this was the most memorable and if still on the menu I would recommend getting this. Starting off the meal with this dish was a perfect way to set up the upcoming courses. My wife had their take on Vitello Tonnato which is one of her favorite dishes from the the northwest of Italy (Piedmont) that she loved. Primi: I had Gnocchi di patate filled with wild garlic, while my wife had the Ravioli stuffed with roasted meat. Both done perfectly. Gnocchi if made badly can be too heavy or mushy and these were light and fluffy and filled with flavor. Secondi: Galletto di Bresse which was juicy and tender and done perfectly while my wife had the Cervo (deer) done perfectly. I had the Gelato in Olive oil and citrus for a dolce which was a refreshing way to end the meal. We were also treated to some creative amuse bouche courses that were delicious at the beginning and ending of our meals You will not be disappointed dining here, it is well worth it. Andrea and his wife also own the hotel we stayed at, Steinach Townhouse Meran which was amazing as well which I highly recommend if you are planning a stay in the city. I am not an active "reviewer" but I will always make time to write something for a place like this. Locally or family owned places that provide memorable experiences and clearly care about their business and customer base. If you visit Merano this places is a must to eat at and you will not regret it.

While the staff was generally friendly, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing—especially considering the price and its Michelin rating. There were several issues that made the visit underwhelming. Hygiene was a concern, with food flies around the open-air space—even landing in our wine. Accessibility was poor, as I had to carry a stroller up the stairs without help, while being told that this is “my concern to deal with”. The restaurant also showed little flexibility when we asked to stagger dishes due to one parent putting a child to sleep. If accommodating families isn't feasible, it would be better to communicate that upfront. If you cannot be flexible with the unique requests from some of the guests, then do not be surprised with dissatisfaction from the customers Comfort was another problem. The chairs were not suitable for a 2–3 hour meal, and my wife felt noticeably uncomfortable. As for the food, it started off promising—especially the Margherita served in a glass—but only the first few of the seven courses felt creative or memorable. The rest felt uninspired, with dishes like aubergine and basic bread adding little to the experience. The atmosphere didn’t live up to Michelin expectations either. There was no clear dress code, and the overall vibe—including the manager—was very casual. Checkout was also sloppy: we were nearly charged for two wines we never received, fortunately after flagging the mistake the bill was adjusted. was it adjusted correctly, i do not know because the bill just mentions generic wines and not the particular names For the cost, the experience didn’t feel special or worthwhile. We left feeling like the time and money would have been better spent elsewhere. Micheline rating stands for some exceptional experience/journey which this venue failed to deliver in 2025

A remarkable and memorable dining experience! A visit to Merano must include dinner at SISSI; the food was unique in presentation, and exceptional in taste. The ambience was relaxed and comfortable while the service was impeccable and cordial. I will not forget your exquisite lemon dessert! What an unexpected delight and trip to heaven! What we appreciated the most was the friendly regard and solicitousness of the chef/owner Andrea Fenoglio. His great sense of humour was the cherry on the cake! Thank you chef for making our dining experience an unforgettable one. We will be back!

Booked a table a few months out for our stay in Merano. Initially we were disappointed in looking at the menu and not seeing a wine pairing, but we went with the 7-course "new" menu rather than the favorites menu and asked - they DO have a wine pairing specific for each dish available, and it's fantastic. They also asked if we had allergies or anything we didn't particularly like - one of us does not like the flavor of truffle and they gave us a different pasta dish, a level they didn't have to reach! The food was very good and contained local dishes with ideas we never really imagined. The margherita pizza shot was very unique, and a great way to start. The pasta dishes were great, but the eggplant filet was amazing and something we didn't know could be made with only vegetables. The celery ice cream dessert was the most unique. Great service and hospitality throughout, it felt like they welcomed us to their own dining room at their house.

One of the absolute highlights of our trip in the region. Lunch at Sissi was an exceptional experience — the food was simply outstanding, refined without being pretentious, and full of personality. What really stood out was the warm, family-like atmosphere. You feel genuinely welcomed, not just served. Chef Andrea Fenoglio and the whole team have created something truly special. This is the kind of place you plan a trip around. A real gem.

It was a wonderful experience. The service was above and beyond, everything was perfectly timed, and the dishes were amazing. Thank you for an unforgettable meal.

We live in Dubai , but we are Italian 🇮🇹, and were on holiday in the enchanting region of Trentino-Alto Adige, where we had the pleasure of dining at Sissi, the Michelin-starred restaurant of Chef Andrea Fenoglio in Merano. Everything was truly exceptional: the flavors were refined and memorable, the courtesy of the staff impeccable, and above all the Chef’s mastery and savoir-faire shone through in every detail of the experience. An unforgettable evening in a magical setting — highly recommended. 5 stars. 🌟

Forsterbräu Meran is a renowned restaurant and ale-house situated in Corso Liberta, opposite the main entrance of Kurhaus. It is popular among locals and tourists for its traditional cuisine and eight varieties of draught beer available from lunch until late at night. The venue features a main dining area, several charming Stube, and an indoor garden with chestnut trees for warm weather dining.
Great food and atmosphere! The carbonara raviolo was delicious and rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The space is huge and lively, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner in Merano. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped here for lunch during a stunning Harley ride through the region. Perfect, easy parking for my Ultra, outside. The authentic Italian food was incredible—the food was fresh and delicious. Combined with the excellent service and a cold local drink , it made for a perfect riding break. Highly recommend to any bikers visiting Merano!
Faleh A — Google review
Forsterbräu Merano is a restaurant where the food comes faster than you realize you're hungry, and everything is so delicious that you want to write down the recipe in your personal "happiness" diary. The waiters behave like your old and slightly tired friends: they wink, give you a hint, and sometimes just shrug their shoulders with understanding, as if they know all your gastronomic weaknesses. The atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, with a slight touch of "we've been here a long time and we're glad to see you." The perfect place to eat deliciously without straining yourself or pretending to be a serious gourmet.
Vadim S — Google review
The food is always great, especially if you want some typical south Tyrolean dishes. It tends to be busy so sometimes the waiters are a little rushed but always friendly and attentive. We usually make a reservation, but I don't think it's a must as there is LOTS of seating.
Hannah R — Google review
Nestled in the heart of Merano on Corso Libertà, right across from the Kurhaus, Forsterbräu Meran is a local landmark and a favorite among tourists. Overall, the place is well-loved, especially for its lively ambiance and wide beer selection. The portions are generous, and it’s a great spot since they stay open late into the night. Price is good

Second time here and still so good. The garden terrace is beautiful, the service is friendly and the food and beer are great.

Nice restaurant in Merano, the food was good but our waiter was borderline rude. Nice atmosphere.
E R — Google review
Great location and atmosphere during the summer as you sit right on one of Merano main streets. We went for typical Tyrolean dishes and it was a good choice. Food was very good, but maybe not great - however you may expect this from a place which is a typical beer garden. Good selection of Forst beers which are produced in a village right next to Merano. Overall well worth it, good food, great experience

Bar Bistro Seven is a charming restaurant located in the heart of Merano, offering a blend of Italian and Tyrolean cuisine. Guests can dine in the chic interior adorned with black-and-white photos or opt for an al fresco experience under the portico on the bustling shopping street. The historic dining room boasts beautifully renovated vaults, creating a unique atmosphere for enjoying classic Tyrolean dishes and traditional Italian fare prepared fresh daily.
The spinach gnocchi with truffles were the most excellent food I ever had. Every bite was a taste bubble popping on the tongue. It was awesome. For desert, we had the chocolate cake with ice cream. The cake was warm and with chocolate cream filling, and the ice cream was a super tasty self-made hazelnut ice cream. It was a brilliant meal, which obviously kosts its price. And since they make everything fresh, you need a bit of patience waiting for your food.

We had dinner here and it was amazing. Great service with a smile. We had the lamb and we could not stop saying how good it was. Cooked perfectly and the presentation was so beautiful. Great dinning experience. Would return again and again.

In the morning, nice spot for a good cappuccino. At lunch, while not cheap, good high quality bites and marvelous view for people watching. Dinner offer is more akin to fine dining with very tasty multiple courses. I've recommended this spot to evey friend visiting the area and have only gotten good feedback. Highly recommend

Great food, very refined, lovely presentation, a relaxed environment and excellent staff. We ordered a first course and second course each - luckily the waitress advised to have a smaller version of the first courses, and even so we struggled to finish our mains, and we shared a dessert just because they looked so nice. Lovely homemade pasta, excellent beef, and the ice cream with our dessert was one of best fruit ice-cream I've ever had. If in Merano, I'd highly recommend it 👌

Amazing food, great quality, good service! Definitely try the pasta Ragout with some local red wine. Cute atmosphere, you’re sitting in a basement of the building which gives proper throwback vibes back into the history.

We went there with a group of 8. People are friendly, Service is great. The food however was definitely below average. Everything we had was very bland, we expected so much more. The interior feels somewhat dated and oldschool, not in a charming way, but I guess that's the vibe and some people like mid 2000 interior style and nostalgia on the wall. Prices are reasonable.

The selection of Pizzas are amazing, they have something for everyone's taste 😋

Probably one of the true Italian restaurants you can visit in Merano - had a good pizza and certainly good service. The Tiramisu was simply amazing, got to remember the Italian cuisine has some very good desserts as well. Recommended.
Javier T — Google review
The place was the only one we could find to accommodate five people during prime dinner time. Once seated the friendly waitress took our orders right away - no wait there. One of us ordered a pizza which came about five minutes later and tasted quite good. Unfortunately, the others had to wait much longer for their food. Three of us had the Knödel Tris and were happy enough to finally get our teeth into something when they finally arrived. The different tastes of the three dumplings were not clearly discernible but overall they were OK - I definitely had better ones before. Atmosphere is not great since the place is located within a shopping arcade and there's nothing to make it cozy when you sit outside. Inside didn't look much better. Value for money is OK - as we found out averages for Meran.
Stefan W — Google review
Best pizza place in town. Only visited this one today and a couple years ago, but there’s no chance to top it. 👍😉 Great tasting Pizza and very friendly service.

This felt professional, and i mean the food and the service. The location ok, when its warm and you want to sit outside ... its in a hallway, can be windy, its not quiet. The inside was cozy but i understand everyone who doesnt want to sit there when it has 30+ celsius. I had the forest pizza which was delicious, as was the pasta dish (dont remember wich one). Just a place where i'd love to come back!

Perched 1130 meters above sea level, Hotel Colle Kohlern offers breathtaking views of the Dolomites and is just a short walk from the cable car to Bolzano's valley. The restored 19th-century building features spacious rooms with wooden floors and en-suite bathrooms, as well as amenities like a swimming pool, spa, and hot tub.
The food was excellent and there is also an excellent wine list, I come often because everything is really excellent, the restaurant serves both typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian and gourmet cuisine, the price is slightly above average but this is due to the quality top of the ingredients! Perfect restaurant in Meran. Outstanding kitchen, grand wine selection and a more than welcoming service in the perfect location. Very chic interior that kept the old structures alive - big recommend for a culinary night out in Meran!

Found this on the Michelin guide and came in without a reservation. The food was excellent, ambience was a modern-cozy, service was good. It was a very reasonably priced 3-course meal with sparkling wine for two. We were even offered espresso or lemoncello after we paid. We will come again.

Splendid restaurant, best wienerschnitzel and service. What is even more impressive, and that goes for most places in Italy, is that they fill up their wine-list with local produced wines. This restaurant is a very strong recommendation.

I've been there with my family during our shopping tour through Meran. The service was quite cold and came after a long 5 minute wait. We orderd some drinks and the traditional liverdumplingsoup (Leberknödelsuppe), which was the water-likest soup I ever tasted! The dumpling was really small and contained almost no meat, but a lot flavorless bread... We payed around 40€ for 3 drinks and 3 soups, including the Italian "coperto", for some bread we never got... We won't visit again!

Römerkeller Meran is a restaurant located in the heart of Merano, offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The vaulted cellar provides a charming ambiance for enjoying Italian pizza, South Tyrolean specialties, and Mediterranean dishes. Guests can also savor regional delicacies and steakhouse items. The establishment's thin-crust pizza has garnered acclaim for its exceptional quality.
I recently went to Roemerkeller it had an amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. The place felt cozy and welcoming right from the start. The staff was very nice and helpful, always checking in to make sure I was happy with my meal. They even gave some good suggestions from the menu. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

We had a large group reservation in preparation for a wedding. The staff was incredibly polite and the service was top tier. The food was amazing. The options were a bit daunting since the menu was at least 14 pages, but there was something for everyone's taste.

We went to the Römerkeller in Meran and we were impressed with the gorgeous seating area downstairs. A nice wine cellar feeling to it. This restaurant offers a range of food, from typical Italian, to steak house type items, as well as the local regional specialties. Our party dipped into all of those food categories and everything was perfect and tasted great. The interesting thing though was the pizza. Their pizza here has to be on a short list for the thinnest pizza crust in all of Italy. I've been all over the country and have never seen it thinner than here. Hands down... Anyway, their pizza was excellent, despite less dough :) I really loved it. I Highly recommend this restaurant. Their servers are very friendly and the service, wow, really fast. We did not wait long for any of our courses. Look this place up if you are in Meran.

This place used to be our favourite restaurant. Unfortunately yesterday we found the food and the service was not the same quality as we knew. The service was very slow. Decent food, though the famous Mezzelune (Schlutzkrapfen) are made from frozen food (you can taste it and it's mentioned on the menu that they use frozen food). And the waitress' attitude towards customers can be improved: eating out at a restaurant is meant to be a pleasant experience, no one enjoys being sassed by a grumpy waitress. It just kills the mood!

Got a spot there for a late lunch as all other places didn't serve food anymore. We were very happy with what we got. Excellent pasta and my partner liked his crusty schnitzel. Lovely wine and dessert selection. Can't complain :)

The food was horrible. The waitress was awfull and very unfriendly. Never again. If you are a tourist, go somewhere else or you will be cheated out of your money

The food was good, but the staff isn’t hospitality minded, except an “older” servant who tried to made our stay te feel welcome.

Nice backyard, the remaining of the restaurant is combined with a wine shop. The food is tasty but not extraordinary.
J M — Google review
Completely disappointed this time. We ordered a wine and were given the simple, standard taste test. It was, unfortunately, bad wine. We were then given about a half hour of drama about how they opened the bottle, and we needed to pay for it. SO WHY GIVE US THE TASTE TEST IF IT MEANS NOTHING?! Not only that, but the service person in charge could speak neither German nor English and had to get someone out of the kitchen to interpret, just to try to convince us to buy a bad wine. So much drama for nothing. Really pathetic. Not recommendable.

The menu offers a variety of Italian and Austrian dishes, as well as Mediterranean fare, making it suitable for all tastes. Alcohol is available for purchase. Table service is available for those who want to dine in style. Parking is available onsite.
This is a gem. A beautiful restaurant run by a wonderful couple. Food is delicious. Service is done with a warm smile. The majestic view of Merano completes the impressions and the experience. It is a must when in the city of Merano.

The restaraunt has a great view of the city and offers a great dining experience. It is very hard to reach by car, we took a cab and walked back to our hotel. Much easier going down. The food was very good, but prices are a bit high, mist likely from the location. We had a specke and cheese plate, side salad and speck Knoedel soup. The homemade chocolate cake and homemade ice cream was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful place on a hill close to Meran, it was a little tricky for us to get to but definitely worth the walk! Cozy atmosphere and a great view from the terrace, service was a little slow but the food was very tasty. They have specialties from the region and italian dishes, home made pasta of course and amazing deserts, you have to try the chocolate cake! It's a place to go.

Saxifraga is our favourite restaurant in Merano! The food is excellent, with high quality ingredients mostly from the region. The service is outstanding, the owner both are personally involved, and the entire team provides an absolute positive atmosphere. The view from the terrace above the city is spectacular, every time there is a different natural spectacle in the skies above the mountains. Important to mention that you have to walk to the restaurant, it’s not possible to directly reach it via cars. However, the walk is easy - either appr 20 min. from Merino via the Trappeiner Walk or just 9 min. taking 102 steps from the Duomo up to the restaurant. Depending on how many glass of wine you have consumed you might want to consider the way back to the city 😅 If you want to go by taxi there is the opportunity to go to a place closer to the restaurant and then walk appx 10 minutes. The locals should know where this place is.

We just loved this place- so much that we returned a second night during our three-night stay in Merano. The people here really know what they are doing- arrivals are greeted quickly, the courtyard ambiance is both cozy and airy, service is professional and kind, the food arrives promptly and was nicely presented and flavorful. Tables are efficiently cleared and new guests welcomed. Highly recommend - try to get reservations by emailing or stopping by. Additionally, the pizzeria offers an impressive variety of locally produced wines that patrons can sample or purchase to enjoy at home. This place is premium. With the jazz wibe, the proffesional waiters and the inside, this place got a place in most people hearts. All dou it is a wine hole, you have 2 choices. 1 is to have a simple dinner with a beer and chose one of the huge scale of pizzas. 2 is to dive in to the world of vines and pick a fine pasta or meat along with it. In the end, you can enjoy some fine desserts with the desired alcohol.

Fine dining restaurant
In Viaggio - Claudio Melis Restaurant is a gourmet corner located in the heart of Bolzano, specifically in an ancient building at Piazza della Mostra, Pock Palace. The restaurant offers an intimate and tranquil dining experience with soft lighting and a limited number of seats. It has gained recognition for its creative, contemporary tasting menus that have earned it a Michelin star. The artful plates feature seasonal ingredients from the Alps and are as visually stunning as they are delicious.
My first Michelin star restaurant. Wow it was a great experience. The food of course was amazing but what made In Vaggio stand out the most was the service, it was first class. My wife and I had the 7 course chef tasting with wine pairing but with all the extra courses, we probably had 10+ courses! The Chef was very generous. He personally explained all the delicious courses and our waiter provided excellent wine pairings. The Chef even came out to say bye and thank you for having dinner there. It was an amazing meal only made better by the personal touches. This is a very small restaurant with only 5 tables so you will definitely need reservations. If you happen to be in Bolzano, I definitely would recommend this experience.
Cody S — Google review
Excellent food in a beautiful setting. We had the 9 course menu and absolutely loved it. Thank you to the whole team for making our evening special.
Stella W — Google review
I am envious whoever live in Merano. This place deserves at least two Michelin starts not just one. The quality of the food, and the whole experience is far better than 3 Michelin stars in nyc. We will definitely return.
Emma L — Google review
Incredible tasting menu experience with Claudio and the team. I can see why it’s so highly regarded in the reviews. Every course was beautifully put together and the idea behind all the wine pairings being natural wines kept it interesting and the taste pairings were managed perfectly. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit special in the area.
Chris B — Google review
Dinner at in viaggio is an experience. It's a small intimate resto with 5 tables in a very dark setting that provides for a tasting menu. The dishes are served by the chef himself and a quite creative. The wine pairing was top notch though I wished there were more local wines included. As for the food, though all of elements seemed interesting I felt that the flavors were quite subdued . Personally I wished they packed more flavor punch. The service was patient and friendly from the 2 team members I met.
Emma — Google review
This was an amazing dining experience. It is an intimate five table establishment. The chef has a skilled talent with balance of salt and acid and is even keeled with his use of fat. He served my most hated licorice that I ate and loved. Creative, balanced, exciting cuisine. No gimmicks or random experimentation. Excellent service. We so happened to book on an evening with just us, but, with the staggered reservations, I believe even a full restaurant would still feel like a private dining experience.
Victoria B — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Michelin-starred restaurant , and I must say, it was a remarkable experience. The talented chef curated a 9-course vegetarian meal that was not only creative but also made excellent use of local ingredients. Each course was a work of art, showcasing the flavors of Sudtyrol in a delightful way. From the first bite to the last, I was impressed by the chef's ingenuity in crafting dishes that celebrated vegetables in all their glory. The use of local produce added a unique and authentic touch to each plate. The atmosphere of the restaurant was simply enchanting. It created the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable dining experience. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the cuisine, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. In conclusion, my visit to this Michelin-starred restaurant in Bozen was an extraordinary culinary journey. For anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience with a focus on local ingredients and creativity, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
Philip D — Google review
We had a fantastic experience, one of the best gourmet restaurants we have ever visited. The food was excellent, beautiful flavours and textures with original wines. Exciting and original combinations but never artificial. The service was outstanding as well, both professional and informal. We felt very welcome. Food was tasty but more expensive than in other restaurant’s. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a while for our food and one of us got their only dish after 1.5 hours, when everybody else of us had already finished eating. It’s not too bad if there are longer waiting times, but it’s not acceptable that some guests on the same table get their food after all the others have already finished.

(Translated by Google) Food: Good; Service: Fairly quick; Location: Modern, very nice and welcoming; Price: in line with prices in the area. Given that we stopped on the fly, after 8.30pm before returning to the hotel, it was one of the very few places still open. We simply ordered a coffee and a mini Sacher at the counter. However, the boys made us sit at a table and a waiter, after a few moments, showed up with the drink. Apart from a small mistake on the coffee which was supposed to be espresso instead of macchiato, it still turned out quite good; the mini Sacher was tasty, a pity about the sponge cake which, being in the refrigerated counter, had hardened a little. In any case, in the days that we remain in Merano, we will return to try something else! We really liked the place, well looked after, bright and welcoming!

The decor is tastefully modern with charming touches that perfectly match Merano's historic flair. The service is attentive, warm, and professional – you immediately feel welcome. Located in the heart of Merano, Rössl bianco is a charming inn with cozy rooms, a restaurant, and a bar. The inn offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast for guests. The restaurant serves traditional Italian and Tyrolean cuisine using fresh local ingredients. Guests can enjoy daily changing lunch menus and a variety of refined dishes for dinner. The inn also boasts an impressive wine selection from its cellar.
This place is a treasure! Do yourself a favour and discover it. A beautifully restored medieval building with many original features. We enjoyed a drink in an atmospheric bar constructed in 1437 and then enjoyed a magnificent meal in the adjoining dining room. We were well looked after by Moritz and Mergana. We are looking forward to returning and staying here for a night or two.

I only ate at the restaurant so I cannot say anything about the rooms but the restaurant is such a hidden gem! It's quiet and has good prices for the quality. The staff is very polite and the service is pretty quick. The inside is also so beautiful. I would recommend the Garden Pizza and the Gnocchi, also the Aperol Spritz. I would visit again!

Beautiful restaurant with a pleasant garden terrace in the courtyard. The service was nice and fast. For lunch we had a delicious Wiener schnitzel with potato salad and gnocchi pesto, as well as tomato salad with onions. Everything was very tasty. We paid an average price of around 60-,Eu for lunch for three people with drinks and coffee. The toilet inside is clean.I can recommend this restaurant and we would definitely stop by again for a visit sometime.

I had dinner there a couple of days ago. Location 5. Service 5. Traditional dishes ok and good ingredients...other dishes i don't really recommend. Not expensive at all considering the atmposphere and the location: jump back in to an historical, original and traditional building with a restiling touch. Probably one of the best esxperience in Meran town. I really suggest. Hope they will change few plates.

We had dinner here and the food was very very good. My wife and I are both a bit demanding when it comes to food. We both had pasta and were delighted with the flavours and texture. Don’t miss the craut with speck - it is to die for.

Extended stay hotel
Steinach Townhouse Meran is a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the picturesque town of Merano. The property offers stunning mountain views, a well-maintained garden, shared lounge, and convenient private parking. With six meticulously renovated suites, this house exudes a special charm with attention to detail. Guests can expect competent and friendly staff providing excellent service.
Steinach Townhouse in Meran is truly a gem—a place where the warmth of a family home meets the comforts and amenities of a boutique hotel. From the moment you arrive, you’re embraced by the genuine kindness and hospitality of the hosts, Katalin and Andrea, whose passion for their work radiates in every thoughtful detail. Their warmth and attentiveness make you feel less like a guest and more like a cherished friend. Barbara’s breakfasts are nothing short of a culinary delight. Each morning, we woke to the scent of freshly baked pastries and cakes, accompanied by eggs prepared to perfection. It’s a breakfast experience that sets the tone for a day of exploring this charming city in Northern Italy. The location is absolutely perfect. Nestled in the heart of Meran, Steinach Townhouse is a stone’s throw away from the best the city has to offer. The cobblestone streets are lined with incredible restaurants, such as Restaurant Sissi, which has proudly held its Michelin star since 2009, and Pizzeria 357, a haven for pizza lovers. Quaint coffee shops and unique boutiques add to the city’s charm, while the picturesque promenade along the river provides the perfect setting for scenic walks, no matter the season. Meran is a city that strikes a rare balance—it offers modern conveniences and cultural sophistication, yet retains a small-town, storybook charm. Steinach Townhouse embodies this spirit effortlessly, creating a haven that feels both luxurious and inviting. My time here was magical, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, adventure, or a little of both, Steinach Townhouse and the enchanting city of Meran deliver an unforgettable experience. This is a place that will stay with you long after you leave, and it’s one I plan to revisit time and time again. Bravo to Katalin, Andrea, and the entire team for creating such a perfect escape!

We had a wonderful stay with our two small children and felt truly welcome from the very first moment. (Translated by Google) In love with this house, this neighborhood, and these people. The Steinach Townhouse in Merano has so much character – charming, quietly located right next to the cathedral, yet still in the heart of the action. A place that thrives on its atmosphere and the wonderful people: Katalin, who is there with so much heart and sensitivity – and breakfast at Barbara's, with her warmth and cordiality, will remain in my memory for a long time. Thank you for this special time in Merano. I will definitely be back. (Original) Verliebt in dieses Haus, in dieses Viertel, in diese Menschen. Everything works perfectly, the cocktails are good, not banal and a little overpriced compared to the local average, but for the location I think it's necessary. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I had a wonderful time and I think I will return soon even just for a pleasant after dinner (Original) Bellissima cornice di uno strepitoso concerto che ho avuto la fortuna di ascoltare sabato 13 novembre. Mi sono trovata a meraviglia e credo che tornerò presto anche solo per un piacevole dopo cena
