Zoo
Fuji Safari Park is a wildlife park that offers various safari experiences for visitors. You can choose to drive through the park in your own car, take a Jungle Bus with wire-netted windows to see and feed wild animals up close, or opt for the Super Jungle Bus with netted tops and sides. Another option is the Safari Navigation Car, where you can join a ranger in a 4WD vehicle for off-road driving and animal feeding.
There is a bus safari and a private safari tour, or you can drive you car through the safari. Very fun experience to see many different animals. We took a private tour and got to feed a variety of animals. The tour guides do not speak English. There is also a walking section where you can feed kangaroos, and see lion cubs (among other animals). Definitely worth a day trip to come here!
Austin I — Google review
An open and wide Safari park where you can drive around watching different animals in the wild. If you want to feed animals you can ride their cute safari buses. We came here during holiday season so as expected it was so crowded and buses was not available. So we used our car. Our second time here, watching animals in the wild was really a great experienced.
Lakwatsera L — Google review
I took my family here a couple years ago, it was an incredible experience! Very few places let you get so up close to the animals. Facilities were great, had very good cell phone service too. Staff was friendly, I recommend this to anyone with kids in the area.
Greg K — Google review
I felt excited here! The super jungle bus is a must-try! I really enjoyed to view various animals. Unfortunately, the weather was not good to see Fujisan. I’ll go there in near future.
Senior J — Google review
Open animal park that’s mostly a petting zoo. There’s a motorized portion where you can ride on a bus and feed the animals or drive through in a personal or rental vehicle with no feeding. YOU MUST BRING CASH!! Check the pics for prices or look online but EVERYTHING with the exception of buying the bus tickets and two restaurants requires cash. There is NO ATM on site which is ridiculous!! They have signs saying no food near the animals, but there are green spaces to eat your food if you bring it and coolers were seen around the parks. Very enjoy experience. Come early if you want to do the jungle bus option as it feels up fast. Wear comfortable shoes as theirs lots of walking on uneven and steep terrain
FarEastFurqans — Google review
We visited Fuji Safari Park last weekend and had an amazing time. We drove our own car through the park and got to see the animals really close up. A great experience for all ages! It was safe, exciting, and felt very special seeing lions, bears, and more right beside our car. If you’re thinking about doing the safari with your own vehicle, you just need to buy admission tickets. Buying them online from the Safari’s page is easy and helps save a bit of money too. The best part is you can use your tickets any day within 90 days after purchase, which is super convenient for families.
Haissam K — Google review
At first we didn’t know it was a drive through ZOO. It’s the only one I have tried in Asia. If you have your own car you can drive your own but it’s you don’t have they have a bus to take you. Many safari animal inside, I think it’s a great place for elderly who can’t walk long or for kids is a good choice too. You can even feed kangaroos, capybara etc.
Shelley L — Google review
A Safari Park! I was the driver so sadly couldn't take many photos. A zebra decided the car next to me made a great butt scratcher. This is all that is fun about a Drive through zoo. a rather large one as well as it took 1 hr to drive through the exhibits and watch all the Animals. maybe next time I will do the Safari walk!

Shopping mall
LaLaport Numazu is a vibrant and modern shopping destination that offers an array of upscale retailers, diverse dining options, and entertainment facilities. This airy complex invites visitors to explore its extensive selection of shops, including unique finds at Mujirushi and local treasures along the nearby Numazu Ginza Shopping Street. For those seeking seafood souvenirs, the Numazu Minato Shinsenkan is a must-visit. The food court and various restaurants provide a delightful culinary experience with plenty of choices for every palate.
It's a must-visit in Numazu city, with entertainments, shops, services and food🤩. I got my rakuten number there and the staff was really attentive and spoke a really easy-to-understand japanese😅. Gotta give 5 stars😁.

It's a large shopping mall that is essential for those living in rural areas. You can find just about anything here. Parking is free for a short period of time.

- Millions people here!!!! On weekend 🥲 - Parking not enough - Also, Restaurant not enough - A lot of interested shop - large department store - There are kids playground in&outdoor Minus⭐️ because of car park

I had late lunch early dinner Set of Bibimbap , the red miso or sweet chili miso is so little the vegetable also is not enough . to much rice less toppings. No taste at all. I’m sorry maybe just add more vege on the top of bibimbap . The chicken set are Good very tasty. And the soup. If you add some kimchi on the side dishes not the cauli flower is good i think.

Lot of shopping options are available at the mall. Even though numbers are the most shops are small in size which reduces the selection. Shops like Mujirushi are exception. Having an imax nearby is also an advantage. Food options are also very good, food court and restaurant gives a good variety to choose from. For kids also options are available to spend time. Parking is a big problem on weekends and holidays. There can be very long waiting time, up to 2hrs sometimes, during peak times.

Really enjoyed our time there! Be sure that you have at least 6 hours in hand if you want to (quickly) see everything in this market.
Rubel ( — Google review
LaLaport is the typical Japanese mall. With lots of places to waste money in and absolutely nothing to keep you there that you couldn't get for free at a public park, per say, it's become a favorite to many and tiresome to a greater many. There is, however, grounds for improvement. There is enough open space to test a wide array of accommodations and events to attract a larger, more varied crowd that would improve everyone's business. All this place needs is to start understanding the people of this country and their actual likes and dislikes in order to become the mall to go to, every or most weekends. In the meantime my score for this place is: Passable*

Izu Panorama Park is a picturesque mountain park that offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji from its cable car, viewing terrace, and restaurant. In addition to this, the area boasts various attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage site Nirayama Reverbatory Furnaces, Mishima Skywalk - Japan's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, and the beautiful Kawazuzakura cherry trees.
Great experience. We went around 3pm and it wasn't crowded at all. We had the cable car to ourselves and get to enjoy the amazing view. The view of Mt Fuji at the top was amazing. There's few restaurants at the top which you can sit and enjoy the view. Comes with a small garden for you to walk along and a free foot spa with an amazing view! Parking was free. The shop sells a lot of cute souvenirs and Japan snacks!

I took the guests on a gondola ride and we walked around the summit area. Although I personally wished I could have relaxed at the terrace café while enjoying the mountain view, the guests took their time and seemed to enjoy themselves. They appeared very pleased with the spectacular view.

The view at the top is breathtaking!! The tranquility and beauty of Mt.Fuji gave me the chills because it is purely beautiful to see and admire. You can choose to hike up the mountain. Because we're travelling with two kids under 4yo -- we opt for the cable car. It is clean, roomy, and very well maintained. Not scary at all~ There are many facilities at the top. There are cafes, some eateries, souvenir shops, a small shrine area, kids playground, a food onsen and plenty photo spots with Mt Fuji as backdrop. My kids went straight to the kids area first (of coz) - climbing ropes, flying foxes, slides, etc. There isn't any soft paddings on the ground.....most are dirt and rocks....so would suggest supervising the younger kids when they are playing. Go make time and get a drink or small snack at the cafe, so that you can enjoy the seating they have near the infinity "pool". There are massive day bed sofas available outside too....which i believe you can rent hourly. The food are delicious and reasonably priced!! Definitely worth visiting when in the area :D Visited back in Oct 2022.

The Izu Panorama Park Ropeway Station is the starting point of a scenic 1.8-kilometer ropeway ride up Mt. Katsuragi in Izunokuni, Shizuoka. The base station itself is well-equipped with a souvenir shop and an Italian restaurant, making it a pleasant stop even before you board the gondola. Each ropeway cabin is spacious, fitting up to six adults comfortably. The 7-minute journey offers breathtaking views of the Izu Peninsula, Suruga Bay, and even Mt. Fuji on clear days. The ride is smooth, relaxing, and perfect for travelers of all ages. At the summit, you’ll arrive at the Ao Terrace, a modern observation deck with cafes, walking trails, and footbaths. It’s a beautifully designed area where visitors can enjoy refreshments while soaking in the panoramic landscape. The ropeway operates year-round, with round-trip fares at ¥2,500 for adults and ¥1,400 for children. The station is wheelchair accessible, and there’s free parking for visitors. The station is also easily reachable by bus from Izu-Nagaoka Station. Whether you’re here for a quick visit or a full day of exploring, the ropeway station sets the tone for a relaxing, scenic experience that highlights the natural beauty of the region.

Very nice here. The ropeway ride is thrilling, especially with steep climbs. On cloudy days like mine, Mt. Fuji might be hidden, but the view is still stunning. The footbath is relaxing (bring your own towel or buy one). Plenty of snacks around—the black beef curry with wasabi is incredible and highly recommended. You can stroll the whole area in under an hour, including a small quiet shrine. Not too crowded. Definitely worth visiting.
Piggly W — Google review
An expensive entry fee, but a well maintained boardwalk, and beautiful views of the area.. we were lucky to see Mt Fuji the day we went.
T T — Google review
Perfect tourist trap around here becuase you get a wondering view of Mt. Fuji and Shizouka oceans and mountains. One round trip is ¥3500 and it is worth it, there is actually a lot of stuff you can do up there. Cafe and snacks are yummy and the Matcha ice cream is the bomb. The glass noodles are awesome becuase you get to cut it yourself. The Dango is also something to try! There is a nice foot bath for your feet! Please do it and there is towels to use for a small donation. A shrine for a quick prayer. The picture spot at the top of the area. Then they just extended the walk area for more views! Beautiful~ Highly recommended! The gift shop is also awesome as well. Lots of wonderful products and not just weird stuff everything is good quality gifts and snakcs.

Izu Panorama Park truly stands out as one of the best places to view Mount Fuji. My visit was in winter, under a cloudless blue sky, which made the experience even more spectacular. From the mountain top, you get an unparalleled view of the majestic Mount Fuji, but that's not all. The panorama includes Suruga Bay, the rolling hills of the Izu Peninsula, sprawling farmlands, quaint houses, and winding roads, all coming together to paint a breathtaking picture. The clarity of the day was ideal for photography, with Fuji-san standing out against the horizon. However, be prepared for the wind, as it was quite strong during my visit, which is something to consider if you're planning to spend a lot of time soaking in the views. Despite the chilly gusts, the beauty of the landscape made it all worthwhile. The park itself is well-maintained, offering various vantage points to capture the perfect shot or simply to enjoy the natural beauty. Overall, if you're in the area, Izu Panorama Park is a must-visit for anyone looking to see one of Japan's most iconic sights from a unique and beautiful perspective. Just remember to bring a jacket to fend off the wind! Scenery Rating:5.0 Ease of arrival score:4.0

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in the bustling heart of Numazu City, Shunraiken is a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts. On a typical weekday, you can stroll in without any wait and indulge in their delightful A Set, which features a steaming bowl of ramen paired with half a serving of perfectly seasoned fried rice. The chef's expertise shines through as he crafts the nostalgic flavors of the ramen while his wife prepares the deliciously subtle fried rice that complements it beautifully.
(Translated by Google) Harukiken Sawada, Numazu City I went to Harukiken for the first time in a while, which is popular and always crowded. I ordered a ramen and half fried rice set with extra noodles. The ramen soup was like old-fashioned Chinese noodles, and the noodles were thin and straight. It was a little hard, just how I like it. The half fried rice was also light and well seasoned. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal🍜 (Original)

(Translated by Google) The simple soy sauce ramen is very delicious. This may not be the best way to put it, but it's not incredibly delicious, so I really like the seasoning and never get tired of it, and I've been there several times. I recommend the A set, which is the so-called Chinese noodles with half a portion of fried rice. Some people also order half a portion of curry. It's busy at lunchtime, but even if you can't find a spot in the car park in front of the restaurant, the turnover is good, so if you wait for a while with your hazard lights on, I think a space will open up. (This is just my hope...)

(Translated by Google) Everyone seems to be reporting on the taste, but I can honestly say it's delicious. This restaurant has been around for a long time (about 40 years), but this was my first visit. It's the ideal example of old-fashioned ramen! The parking lot is just the right size (about 5 cars), so unless you have a very large group and multiple cars, you don't have to worry about waiting. On the other hand, if you're alone (which is usually the case), the parking lot might be full and you can't get in. That's usually the case, but if you come just before lunchtime, around 11:50, you can easily get in. I don't think there are any other restaurants with this level of quality in the neighborhood (assuming taste is a matter of personal preference), so I hope you enjoy not only the seafood but also the Numazu ramen 🍜.

Osakana Shokudo YAMAYA is a popular spot in Izu known for its fresh fish dishes. The restaurant offers both fried and raw fish options, with the choice of sitting at a regular table or on tatami mats. While some may consider it slightly pricey, the portion sizes are generous, making it reasonable for the quality. Visitors often praise the authentic and delicious local food, highlighting the amazing hospitality.

Great place to experience fresh fish in Izu. You can have both friend and raw fish. They have a normal (table) section and a tatami (sitting on the floor) place. Although listed as "little expensive", the dish size is pretty large, so I would say is normal price. I paid 1500 for a fried fish set (fish, miso soup, pickles, rice).

With careful cooking and seasoning, it was a dish that truly felt like a "professional job". It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating rice. In addition, the ikura bowl was also excellent. The balance of the popping and sauce was exquisite, and my mouth was filled with happiness. Until now, when I wanted to eat fish in Numazu, I had no choice but to go to "Protein Kingdom" without hesitation... but with the arrival of "Yamaya", I have another luxurious option. This will be a happy problem. And what impressed me most of all was that they welcomed me with an infant. I am truly grateful for the consideration and service of the restaurant staff. It is rare to find a restaurant where the whole family can enjoy a delicious meal with peace of mind. It was a very satisfying dining experience that had everything: taste, atmosphere, and customer service. I will definitely visit again! This Spanish restaurant, サングリア沼津東名店, offers an exceptional dining experience with remarkable cuisine and outstanding service. The staff is extremely welcoming and the dishes are incredibly flavorful. If one were a regular customer, they would frequent this establishment due to its pleasant ambiance.
Amazing service and amazing food. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. If I was a local, I would come here all the time.

Food was delicious and the lunch set is more than enough for 2 people. The is a nice parking lot so no need to worry about that. Each table is separated by bright vibrant clothes. Not sure if there is an English menu but there are pictures and numbers if you have to use a translator.

Wasn't great. Overpriced. Seafood paella was not hot and a bit overcooked. I've definitely had better Spanish food in Japan.
Matthew B — Google review
I give the food a 4 to 5 star but the service is very slow and and I was not Japanese so the staff only looked and spoke to my Japanese friend I found this rude first a simple hello would have passed and Japanese people know how and second I speak basic Japanese but really overall service is terrible even when wanting water I really never complain about service in Japan but this is shot the only thing good was the food so do go for that but price for two people was 70000 yen not cheap

(Translated by Google) I then went to the sister store, Kuno store. First of all, ``Reservation is required'' You should think that you will not be able to enter unless you make a reservation. Some customers persisted without reservations, but it was tough. It was full when I visited. Even lunch takes about two hours from start to finish. Paella is ordered first and comes out last, but I wonder if there is a cooking time for it. I sit on an uncomfortable leather chair and wait for my food. The food that comes out is delicious, satisfying, and voluminous, and I think the price is reasonable. There is a large parking lot, and it is on the right side when you exit the Tomei Numazu IC and drive along the Gourmet Road. There are many other restaurants on Gourmet Road that you might want to visit, but this one is worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) Last order was 14:30, so it was helpful that they served lunch until a little late. The store has a nice long-established feel. It seemed like a set would be a better deal than ordering paella individually, so I ordered the most value for money set and added a single dish. The set includes salad, stewed chicken, and paella. Sea bass carpaccio and grilled sardines with herbs. The carrot salad in the set is delicious. The stewed chicken and sauce were excellent and I ate it with bread. Squid ink paella is full of squid ink sauce. I thought it would be wet, but it was crispy. The rice is perfectly cooked al dente. No matter what you eat, it's delicious, and there are many other menu items you'll want to try. It's convenient as it's close to the interchange, so I'll come back next time I'm in Izu. It was a very satisfying lunch. Day 2

West side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the west side side of town. Start the day off with Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Numazu Fish Market. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
The Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium is a unique attraction that showcases deep-sea creatures, including luminescent fish, octopuses, and the rare coelacanth. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring frozen coelacanths, considered living fossils, and get up-close views of massive deep-sea isopods. The aquarium covers the depths of Suruga Bay and other deep-sea locations worldwide, displaying about 1,500 creatures from approximately 60 species.
Been to a number of aquariums and this has to be a really unique one with creatures not seen in some of the big aquariums. Many specimens of deep sea fish (naturally so, as they thrive in very different environments hard to replicate in the aquarium setting). Good place to learn about deep sea fishes and hopefully more written explanation in English would be helpful. For the price it is worth the visit. There are also some fun entertainment rides relating to the aquarium around it.
Quin C — Google review
This aquarium has a reasonable ticket price and is worth a visit, especially if you haven’t been before. The space inside is quite large and well-organized, making it easy to walk around without feeling crowded. While there aren’t many rare species on display, it’s still a fun and educational experience for all ages. There are restaurants and a parking lot conveniently located nearby, making it a great spot to spend a few hours with family or friends. Overall, a pleasant visit!

We went on a Monday at 12pm. Even though it was a midday in the weekday, there was still a few people inside. Very unique selection of animals because it depends on what is caught. We went when it was off-season, so there was no flapjack octopus. In addition to the deep sea animals, there are comprehensive explanations of how they catch the animals, how they maintain the aquarium etc. Overall a bit of a small aquarium, but definitely worth a visit especially for its price!
Zach T — Google review
A very beautiful aquarium to visit, with a good and wide variety of fish. It's also located in a cozy town surrounded by typical regional foods and culture. Parking is large and easy to find.
Claudia M — Google review
Very interesting museum! It also has an aquarium floor with many different deep sea creatures. There are also English explanations on most objects. We saw real japanese spider crabs and they have (as the only museum in the world) frozen specimens of coelacanth. Very impressive. We had a great time and learned a lot!
Lats — Google review
If you are in the area, might as well. It's not too big but you will see lots of species you would rarely see otherwise. Might make you hungry for the fish market outside lol. The gift shop has some good stuff. The isopods give me the creeps in real form and plush form.
Andrew L — Google review
Even amongst the many aquariums in Japan, this is a unique one, though not that huge. Focused solely on deep sea creatures, it has many fascinating live specimens and it even display non deep sea affiliate of the deep sea specimens just so we can observe the difference. Of course the main highly is the frozen specimen at -20 degrees Celsius and incredibly has been frozen since the 80s as the only one in the world that is 100% original (not taxidermy).
Rtexal T — Google review
It is a very interesting museum. Rather small, but focusing on the deep sea which you dont have in other aquariums. We learned new things which was very fun. It is not a must see, but if you are in Mushimi or Numazu then your options on activities in the summer heat are limited and you will most probably enjoy it like we did 😀

Uogashi Maruten Restaurant is a popular dining spot located in the Numazu Fish Market, just a short walk from Numazu Port in Shizuoka Prefecture. The restaurant is known for its delicious seafood dishes made from fresh catches selected by the owner each morning. With a modern and spacious ambiance, it offers a variety of options, with generous and affordable lunch dishes.
The seafood bowl was well presented and very tasty I love to come back
Honami T — Google review
One of the few seafood restaurants in the port that opens past 5pm. And most of the items in the menu are priced competitively. I ordered something without rice because I couldn’t afford to have more carbs. And the sashimi platter (almost same price as the chirashi don) was huge. The cut weren’t thin as well, though I found the fishes not the most umami-packed. Not the freshness issue, just that the quality of the fishes bought is average. BTW this place only accepts cash despite the appearance of a proper restaurant.
Shih C — Google review
Uogashi Maruten’s red tuna stew is unique and delicious, seafood is fresh too. There were large crowd during lunch, so we visited during dinner instead when there was no queue.

I came here for lunch and it was a great experiences. Dishes are generous and cheap compared to Tokyo price. Large sitting spaces and lot of options (mostly, fish). Speciality is the fried bowl dish.

This is the new restaurant started by the Maruten original one. This is more spacious with a modern ambiance. Food is very delicious similar to the original restaurant. Tuna tails stew, Tuna tail in barbecue sauce and big seafood tempura still leads on the popular dishes. The staff was very kind and helpful. Lunch time it’s better to book the tables as there will be a long queue usually.

Came for lunch, Parking was a little limited. It seems most of the food stalls are designed for locals to take food home to cook, which there was a variety of. There are also pretty standard sushi bowls, like sashimi, and ikura. We ended up eating at a restaurant with a lot of choices and a wait list, but we only waited about 10 minutes. Overall, I would go if I was already in the area but I definitely would not make a trip to come to this.

(Translated by Google) I was participating on a tour, but since the bar was being raised, I wondered if it was something like this. The menu is mini kakiage bowl, mini seafood bowl, and beef tataki? It was nigiri, boiled red sea bream, chawanmushi, and miso soup. Kakiage is crispy and delicious, but it's not what you'd expect. It looks like fried frozen food. Seafood rice bowls have a lot of impact, but the individual toppings tend to be mediocre. The raw whitebait was delicious. The meat in the beef nigiri was tough and tasted...I've only ever eaten beef sushi at restaurants that were a little expensive for other people's money, so I enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth softness and the deliciousness of the fat. I thought it would be something to taste, but here it was more like the texture of the beef. The boiled golden sea bream is usually delicious, but since the set does not include white rice, it is difficult to choose the right time to eat it. I thought the miso soup had a bit of a strong taste. I don't really feel the dashi soup either. Chawanmushi is also normal... Overall it wasn't bad, but I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to set too many hurdles. Personally, I thought it would have been more enjoyable to have a bowl of seafood overflowing with rice rather than a detailed set like this.

There was plenty of seating, so we could relax. I have a connection with Numazu Port and have been there a few times, and compared to other restaurants, I felt that the food was the freshest and the work was done carefully. The customer service was also great, with the staff asking my child who ordered a seafood bowl if he was OK with wasabi, and the tea they served was nice and cold, which is a small thing, but I was happy to see the consideration that goes beyond the "power of a fishing port!" The store has a luxurious appearance and seems a little more intimidating than other restaurants, but I don't think you need to hesitate. I didn't go there for dinner a la carte, but I don't think the price difference is that much. If I have another chance at Numazu Port, I'll visit. Numazu Burger is a cafe located next to Numazu's Deep Sea Aquarium, featuring Love Live Sunshine series memorabilia alongside traditional cafe decor. The place offers a 10% discount for visitors with Deep Sea Aquarium tickets and provides convenient parking options. The menu includes unique items like shark burgers, soft shell crab burgers, and tuna burgers, all priced around 1000 yen. Customers have praised the food quality, such as the fresh fish sandwich and spicy deep-fried octopus nuggets.
Surprisingly one of the best fish burgers I've had in my life. Thought it was going to be mid but the flavors were amazing. Delicious fried chicken thingy as well, a must order.

❗ Important ❗ You will receive a 10% discount if you flash your Deep Sea Aquarium ticket during your ordering. Numazu Burger is situated next to Numazu's Deep Sea Aquarium and has a carpark and bicycle parking lot on the opposite road which makes it convenient for patrons who are riding over. The café has a nice ambience which caters to fans of the Love Live Sunshine series where merchandise and posters of the anime decorate its interior alongside its own traditional café decoration. I ordered the Crab cream croquette burger set which comes with a serving of fries and iced latte for 1040円(936円 with discount) The burger was delicious although the croquette was relatively small, the fries were salted perfectly while the iced latte was satisfactory. The burgers are suitable as a light meal although the prices might be slightly expensive for the portions served so dining here would be more of a once in a blue moon occasion whenever you are visiting the aquarium or port. The Numazu Burger x LLSS stamp is located close to the door and it features Yoshiko.

Nice experience of having Deep sea fish burger

Nice place, friendly, welcoming staff. Had a shark burger and chips, was pretty interesting! The shop is all about the novelty so don’t expect fine dining. You will find things like soft shell crab burgers, tuna burgers and the aforementioned shark though. Everything is hovering around 1000 yen too, so it’s not particularly overpriced. Worth a look if you like something a bit unusual.

Even though I was the last person to enter the store at 6pm and I only ordered an aji fry burger, the service was stellar and the food was amazing! Definitely coming back next time I come to Numazu and trying much more of their menu!

Expensively underwhelming fish “sad”wich shop. If you just want to say you had a/ went to Numazu Burger, go on in. In my opinion it’s for novelty only, not quality.

Great salmon burgers and fries! Good atmosphere. Place has a variety of fish and beef burgers. Additionally a variety of drinks, desserts and ice cream for even take-out. Enjoyed my experience.

It is so damn good!!! Any burger restaurant I had afterwards just can't compare at all! I had the Aji-fry burger, and it was soo delicious. Extremely crispy outsides with a fluffy inside. 'Datenshi no nami' was also really really good. I personally can't take spicy food that well, but even the heat was amazing! Would definitely go again when in Numazu!

Unagi restaurant
During my recent journey around the Izu Peninsula, I had the pleasure of dining at Unayoshi, a renowned eatery known for its delectable eel dishes. Nestled near Tsukinoyu Onsen, this charming restaurant offers an unforgettable experience with its signature Unajyu. The preparation is truly an art form; the eel is steamed to perfection before being generously coated in a secret sauce and grilled multiple times, resulting in a plump and flavorful dish that pairs beautifully with the sweet glaze.
(Translated by Google) I went there for the first time and had eel bowl, grilled liver, and tempura. We arrived around 12:00 on a Sunday, and there were seats available, so we were seated right away. The eel was plump and meaty, and the sauce wasn't too thick to my liking. I've been to several eel restaurants in Mishima, but this was my favorite way to grill it. The liver grilled meat was voluminous (one was a junior high school student and there were two adults eating it). You may either like it or hate it, but personally, the bitterness has become a habit. The tempura came with salt, which made it refreshing and I could enjoy the plumpness of the eel even more. Above all, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was good, the staff were friendly, and I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. There was also eel jus, and there were many other menu items, so I would like to come back again. There is a large parking lot (there is also a second parking lot), so you can feel safe even if you are driving.

Or does the restaurant's flavor change? I don't remember, but I gave it a go. 😌 This is just my opinion. It was less rich than I expected? The sauce was light. It was a little less sweet, so I was a little disappointed, but they provided extra sauce on the table, which I was grateful for 🙏 The grilled liver was delicious with the sauce. But then, even though I shouldn't have, I ordered crispy onions, which made me feel a little full from the oil and did a disservice to the eel. Once the eel craze is ignited, it's not going to die down so easily, so I went to this restaurant of the same name about 10 minutes away by car. Since it was a weekday at around 5pm, I was able to enter without any queues. There were many other dishes on the menu besides eel, but since my goal was eel, I ordered the premium eel rice bowl. Perhaps because the restaurant was empty, it was served in just over 10 minutes. There was Japanese pepper on the table, as well as extra sauce, so it felt like I could change the flavor as I wanted. The liver soup had a refined taste and was delicious. As for the eel rice bowl itself...First of all, the eel was plump, which was good. However, this is entirely a matter of personal preference, but I prefer eels with a crispier skin, so I wasn't that impressed. Still, the eel rice bowl was worth the price, and I don't think I'll feel like it was terrible and I'll never come back. Also, the staff were cheerful and considerate, which was great. (Translated by Google) I came to Izu for a drive for the first time in a long time, stopped at Toda, enjoyed the hot springs and a walk around the cape and bay, and missed the chance to have lunch.I searched Google MAP to try eating eel in Mishima or Numazu, and found reviews, opening hours, and returning home. Considering the route, we decided on this one as it had good reviews. I timed my visit to this clean, modern shop as it opened after 4:30pm. A truly authentic place? I thought about ordering the ``Tokujo Nidan Fuji (¥8,360)'' because it was a type of eel, but since it was my first time at an eel restaurant, I decided to try the ``Kami Unagiju (¥6,545)'' and see how it turned out. did. It took less than 20 minutes to order, and since I was driving by car and couldn't order alcohol, I thought it would take a long time to drive to Tokyo, so I rented a restroom and had an empty seat, and the food was served and left in silence. Cut it and steam it? I thought it would take at least 30 minutes to grill the eel at a proper eel restaurant, but no matter how I looked at it, it was probably just something that had been made in advance or had been steamed before being grilled, or just warmed up. I was surprised because this is the first time I've seen this at an eel restaurant where each item costs over ¥6,000...no cooking time. The eel itself was on the right line in terms of quantity and quality, but the small bones in the abdomen were not properly processed and the level of skill was unsatisfactory. It had no flavor, and most of the price was based on the location of Numazu and the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the way the eel itself was served (how it was handled and cooked) was unsatisfactory, at the level of a mass-market, low-priced restaurant. The feeling of disappointment and loss is the greatest. Even though I went all the way to Numazu to eat it and spent a reasonable amount of money, I was less satisfied than at a cheap restaurant. I changed the Google MAP registration to "stores I no longer go to."

Numazu Port Observatory Water Gate, also known as View-O Flood Gate, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji. The observatory provides a serene and relaxing atmosphere with minimal crowds, making it easy to enjoy the unobstructed 360-degree views. Visitors can take in the picturesque scenery during both day and night, with the possibility of catching a glimpse of Mount Fuji on clear days. The affordable ticket price makes this experience even more worthwhile.
The view is breathtaking. It's a lovely place to visit. The entrance is super cheap, and there's a beautiful park nearby.

Visited this on a weekday. There is barely any people so it is quite nice that we don't have to queue up and get to enjoy the scenic views without much distractions. The ticket price for adults is really cheap, only 100 Yen, so the price is negligible in all regards. The view is very nice because it is 360 degrees, allowing us to view everything unobstructed. Moreover, some windows are opened, allowing us to take clearer pictures. One problem is that some air-conditioned are switched off somehow (though the public can switch back on), making the second portion of the tower much hotter and stuffy. Overally, this place is quite nice and worth a short visit.

View-O at Numazu Port is a well-known local landmark and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The structure is impressive, and the view is great from every angle — perfect for photography any time of day. Whether you're capturing the gate from the streets or along the waterfront, it always looks striking. I’ve heard you can go up into the observatory, but I haven’t done that myself. Still, it’s a peaceful and photogenic spot that’s easy to enjoy without crowds. A hidden gem for travelers and photo enthusiasts!

A functional water gate with observatory space, and a bridge connecting two sides of the harbour entrance. Entrance fee is inexpensive, and have access to 360° view with Mt. Fuji in sight
Sam K — Google review
Numazu Port's View-O Flood Gate provides spectacular day and night views of Numazu City, Shizuoka, Mount Fuji and bodies of water that surround three of four directions. In the day, it is said that you can see Mount Fuji on a clear day. In the night, you are greeted by its luminous colours that light the observation deck and towers that support/move the flood gate, making it a sight in itself of the night. Unfortunately, I was only able to visit during the night and catch the views during that time. However, with the December night that it was, not being cold on the outside and being warm inside the observation deck, it made for a nice, quiet overlook of the city interior and a hint of Mount Fuji resting behind a partly-cloudy night. For 100円, you can get many nice photo opportunities up on the observation deck. Even at night, the lights-off interior and mainly-exterior lighting creates a relaxing... and, to some, romantic... ambience/aesthetic. It's a must-visit during all seasons. Visitors to Numazu should make it a point to stop here and go through both sides of the port's inlet to discover what each side has to offer.

If you're in the area you need to come and see how the emperor and the family used to hang out. It is what you would think of when you think of traditional Japan in Japanese architecture setting a beautiful seaside location. Again, this place is old and run down but if he can look past that you will enjoy it. If what high, you must remove your shoes to walk inside the building.

This park is good with the immediate exposure to the numazu beach. This is very calm n cool place and ideal for jogging or casual walking. The only worrisome thing is, the beach attached to this park is very dirty. It's beautiful but not cleaned. The plastic residues are littered over the beach.

A lovely reminder of what Japan was like before pollution, micro plastics, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide smog and concrete. Plus, today was a sake festival. It's just such a shame that if you leave the grounds, you come into contact with all of the poisonous, vile void of death quite quickly. But this is Japan, so there's not much which is beautiful and untouched any more.

Cozy park to stroll through. Don't much care for the historical stuff you have to pay to see

Nice shady place to escape the heat and see how the former emperor vacationed. Quite fascinating to see the old kitchen and bathrooms! In summer the had a little pool for children to splash in and diaper changing facilities in the women's toilets.

Italian restaurant
The ワイン食堂ヴィンセント BiVi沼津店 is a delightful eatery offering delectable western-style cuisine, infused with a touch of Japanese influence. Conveniently located next to the Daiwa Roynet Numazu hotel, this cozy establishment provides a diverse menu that promises an original and exciting dining experience. Although an English menu may not be available, the friendly waitstaff goes above and beyond to explain the offerings, displaying genuine kindness.
Great Italian find in Japan. I was astonished by their variety of items, not your basic spaghetti and meatballs. The food was very good, almost as good as Italian in the US. P.S. They have an English menu (roughly translated) and their staff speak partial English, you should have no problems.

For a cozy night with your family in which you feel like tasting different types of dishes cooked in an original way, this is restaurant. I have tried several plates here and they never fail to impress.

A fabulous find for an evening meal! As a tourist with dietary requirements, my husband and I found this restaurant to be outstanding. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful - can't thank our waiter (Koizumi) enough for his dedication in getting us the perfect meal. (We actually had 2 waiters - the other was on his first shift ever.... he scored us - poor guy! He was a little confused - totally understandable, but ever so kind and tried so hard! What a gem!) Google translate helped a bit too! It was a little noisy, but that was part of the experience. Food spot on! Drinks spot on! Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

Hawaiian restaurant
I have been a loyal customer of Tony's Restaurant for more than 25 years and I am really impressed with their new location and ambiance. The upgrade from the old place has exceeded my expectations. The outdoor patio offers a stunning nighttime view that shouldn't be missed. The quality of the food is quite good and the prices are reasonable. The service provided by the friendly staff is always top-notch, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
I went to Tony's Honolulu Restaurant in the Numazu Port in Shizouka Prefecture Japan. It was wonderful. It is located right along the Numazu harbor overlooking Suruga Bay with an amazing view of the observatory. The staff was very friendly and helpful considering I don't speak Japanese. The food is Hawaiian/American food like hamburgers, steak, and french fries, but they also have some delicious seafood dishes. I highly recommend Tony's Honolulu!

Went here after some friends suggested I try it during my extended stay in Numazu, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and I even got to sit next to the table covered in their collection of Yoshiko Tsushima merchandise. It's a little out of the way compared to other places, but I would say it was worth the journey. Even moreso once the sun goes down, since then you can see the View-O water gate all lit up.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, great ambience and music. The food was delicious and affordable. Feedback to chefs: If you want to wow customers even more with fish and chips, provide lemon with the fish and chips, make the tartar more tangy, and lower the salt in the fish batter also include butter! If you do, people will come just for that!

I’ve been a Tony’s Restaurant customer for over 25 years and I really like the new place and the new settings!! It’s really a step up from the old place and it excels my expectations! The patio deck has an excellent night view if you get the chance to experience it. The food is pretty good and the prices seem pretty reasonable also. The service is always nice and the staff are friendly and eager to help make your dining experience an enjoyable one.

Love this place. Great location with outdoor tables and great views of Numazu Port, the View-O observatory and the sea. Friendly staff and a great selection on the menu, from burgers and Hawaiian beer to swordfish steak and original cocktails. Mahalo!

Syokudo and Teishoku restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Numazu, Yajikita is a delightful dining spot that specializes in set meals, making it a perfect choice for those looking to indulge in a variety of flavors. During my recent visit on a sunny weekend, I was drawn to their standout offerings: the "Ajikoro Set Meal" featuring crispy fried horse mackerel and creamy crab croquettes. The freshness of these dishes truly shines through with each bite.

(Translated by Google) This restaurant primarily serves set meals. While they have a variety of options, I ordered the two that most caught my eye: the "Ajikoro Set Meal" and the "Maguro Sukimi (with seaweed)." The Ajikoro Set Meal, as the name suggests, is a set meal consisting of fried horse mackerel and cream crab croquette. Both are freshly fried, so the batter is crispy and the inside is piping hot. The fried horse mackerel is about the size of your palm and is incredibly satisfying. The meat is plump and fatty, making it a delicious dish that goes perfectly with rice. The sauces and soy sauce are good, but I also recommend the tartar sauce, which is available for an additional 50 yen and goes exceptionally well with it. The cream crab croquette is a standard, round-shaped croquette. It's also freshly fried, so the piping hot béchamel sauce oozes out with every bite. The rich flavor is exquisite, and the crab flavor is truly palpable. It's truly outstanding, worthy of its separate category.

(Translated by Google) I arrived after work just after 1pm, and since it was a weekday, there were only five or six other customers ahead of me, so I was able to get a seat right away. My colleague wanted to eat fried horse mackerel, so I ordered a set meal, and after waiting for about 10 minutes, it came out. The horse mackerel was a bit pricey at 1,400 yen for three pieces, but this is understandable as it is a tourist destination. As for the taste, they were quite large and satisfying, but I was a little disappointed as they seemed a little over-fried. The clam miso soup was delicious, so I guess it all washed out. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try something different.

(Translated by Google) Visited for lunch on a weekend in June 2025. It was featured in "Sekakuna Gourmet" a few weeks ago, and since I was planning to go to Numazu, I decided to stop by. There were already about four groups lined up at 13:00. The style is to write your name on the waiting list and wait. The turnover rate seems to be relatively fast. ・Take set meal ¥2530 → Everything except fried horse mackerel ・Uogashi set meal ¥1300 → Fried horse mackerel as the main dish, with sashimi, etc. ・Homemade grated ponzu sauce ¥110 ・Tartar sauce ¥50 The sashimi is bland, so you might not need to order it. The fries were very filling and felt like a man's meal. It was too much for a girl, so I asked if I could take it out, and they kindly gave me aluminum foil. Thank you. The batter and ingredients themselves are not seasoned, so there is no particular saltiness or flavor, and I got tired of it halfway through, so I ordered additional tartar sauce and grated ponzu sauce. I guess it's like soul food for the people of Numazu. I regret a little that I should have had sushi instead, since I came all the way here for sightseeing. When we entered the restaurant, there were four groups of customers waiting, so we wrote our names down and waited. We were shown to a four-seater table by the window in about 12 minutes. First, we checked the menu. Our goal this time was, of course, fried horse mackerel. I ordered the fried horse mackerel set meal, and my friend, the Ministry of Finance, ordered the fish market set meal. After a 10-minute wait, the food was right in front of us, and we started eating. The clams were plump and crunchy, and incredibly delicious. The clam miso soup was also plentiful and quite good. I couldn't stop eating, and finished it in about 15 minutes, and I was just full. If I had to say something, I would have liked a little potato salad. The only salad sauce available was French. That's disappointing. Also, they only had soy sauce and Nakano sauce. Worcestershire sauce would have been even better. *Tartar sauce and mayonnaise are available at extra cost. Still, the fried horse mackerel was very satisfying. The staff's service was also excellent. Thank you for the meal... The facility boasts a large pool that can hold 80 tons of natural seawater, providing an ideal habitat for nearly 90 species of sea creatures. Visitors can witness captivating performances by marine animals and observe emperor penguins and ornamental fish in the aquarium area.
One of the best place to enjoy your time with family! The dolphin and sea lion shows are mind blowing!! There was a show where they feed a 640kg sea lion and that was sooo fun to watch! You can enjoy many deep sea fish and creatures! Also there is a snack stand that has many food options and the price is reasonable. Try the jellyfish ice cream. It has real jellyfish inside. Really tasty! There is a gift shop also that has many beautiful things you'll like! Prices are reasonable compared to other gift shops. Ticket price: 2200 yen (if bought there). If you buy from website or Line coupon, then it'll be 2000 yen. For those above 64 years old, ticket price is 1800 yen. I'd say, the ticket price sounds expensive but the experience is totally worth it!! Plan for 5 hours and you'll enjoy many many things!

Relatively small Aquarium located at a quaint location. Was a bit held back at the entrance fees at the beginning, but the experience at the aquarium really made the money worth it. The walrus, seals and dolphin shows were really good and I highly recommend them to watch them :) Really love how bonded the keepers and animals are. Seeing their interactions really made my day.

The animals are depressed. Way too expensive for what you get. Small enclosures. No updates since the 90s. UPDATE YOUR ENCLOSURES! Please please please don’t spend your money here. One of the worst aquariums I’ve ever been to. It’s animal abuse!

The entrance fee is around 3k yen The inside is a beatifull place filled with sea animal you can see pinguin walrus dolphin etc. When i come its in winter so not really much people come here the cafe also closed. I come here in 2020 january just before covid hits hard. Hope i can come here again.

The price is rather steep for the scale of the aquarium but it's quite understandable given it's located in a small town. There wasn't much to do here rather than aquariums and performance show, if you wanted to catch the show at least you have to time your visit right because they run on a schedule. It was quite packed when I visit so I'm not sure if they still run performance if there's only few people on board. Something to note, after the entrance they asks you for an involuntary photoshoot then at the exit they will ask you to buy off the print from them for a certain fee (about 2000 yen iirc). This might catch you off guard so you can either politely say no or if you are a fan of LL! Sunshine, you can buy your photo attached to an acrylic keychain of your favorite member for 1500 yen. I would recommend visiting this place at least once if you are in Numazu area.

As an island is a good place to visit, but as an aquarium is very disappointing. Very old not maintained, poor fish and animals don’t have a proper space to swim. Just a sad place to see the species suffering.
Tony R — Google review
If you are really into animal welfare, you better not coming to this marine park, because the creatures seems suffer to live in small spaces and dirty aquarium (especially the seal's space😭). This marine park looks so gloomy and sad, might lack of maintenance and support. The sea lions live in smaller spaces, the female one will be the only performer for the mini show in the afternoon, male one only in the cage because the male sea lion is well-known as the wildest and massive one. The sea lion show might look cute but still look bizzare if you are really care it surrounding🥺 The penguins are under the sun and minimum ice in the space😪 There is a small building for fishes aquarium and other building full of frogs and salamanders. I hope those animals get good treatment and good food... At least, being free or get bigger space. I dont know how much ticket the visitors have to pay if they are not hotel guests (because it's free for me and my husband).

This island is absolutely beautiful. It’s not too large but can spend one day easily. It’s only 3 minutes by seabus, charge 2000¥ for adult and 1000¥ for 4+ kids. My kids like dolphin show, sea lion show and touching laboratory show. There are various types fish in aquarium. Also a frog house where are various types frogs. Really nice place to spend a day trip

As an Australian my bar is very high for aquariums and animal enclousures. Whilst I completely understand that Uchiura is a small rural town and doesn't have all the resources of a big city it really is no excuse to give animals poor living conditions. The seal tank was tiny and their 'lodgings' really weren't much better. When I found where the otter was the little guy looked like he was going manic in the small tub of water he was allowed. It was prison like. The penguin enclosures were small, stinky and bland. Whilst this place definitely needs money to better it's situation and improve animal livelihood, I would highly encourage you to take you money elsewhere. I am a big fan of marine animals, but if I wasn't a fan of Love Live I would never consider going here. The ticket price would not have been worth it for me if I was unable to see locations featured in Love Live. The big Aquarium in Osaka is a much better deal for your money and mental health. I probaly only spent about 20 minutes looking at the animals because their conditions were so depressing. I did enjoy being able to purchase exclusive Love Live merch here, but that's really it.

Small but lovely aquarium on an island, which is very fun to visit with children. Many wonderful sea creatures on exhibition and there are plenty of interactive sessions.

Come here before pandemic in 2020 january. Its a cozy place , when you want to come here you need to take a boat its 500¥ but if you already reserved a room in awashima hotel its free. There really isnt that much animal here compare to izu mito sea paradise but its a nice gateaway place. You can see many frogs in the frog house.

DO NOT COME :( - walked past on a Thursday late afternoon and seals are crying. The penguin pens are tiny & filthy. It was depressing to see. Stayed at the hotel on this island but even just walking past it was depressing.

Unagi restaurant
The Unayoshi restaurant offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with their fluffy, delectable barbecued eel. The eel is beautifully prepared, crispy on the outside and tender inside, accompanied by perfectly cooked rice that strikes a balance between firmness and softness. The liver adds an additional layer of flavor that is both delicate and pleasing. The skillful technique employed in the preparation of these dishes leaves a lasting impression.
Very soft and tender unagi. The taste is great and the portion is huge. There is only Japanese menu, but staff is very friendly and tries to explain with Google translate, started by asking which country!

Delicious barbecued eel, more to the salty taste than the sweet side. A pity they don’t have English menu. Had difficulty ordering as menu has no pictures to cater to foreigners. Overall it’s good but I still prefer the one at Nagoya 😍

(Translated by Google) We visited on a weekday at around 3pm. There were no other customers but us, and they said they only had a small amount of eel for the day and could only do the regular size. The grilled liver was gone, so we ordered: - Unadon (with soup) ¥4000 - Shiramushi eel (foodie's taste) ¥3500 The snacks were also delicious, like boiled wild vegetables. The eel was plump and fluffy steamed. It was the first time I'd ever had such fluffy eel. Delicious! The sauce was slightly sweet and light, and not too much, just right. The Shiramushi was also soft and creamy. You can choose your favorite dipping sauce from wasabi salt, wasabi, soy sauce, or eel sauce. Their homemade pickles were also crunchy and delicious. The soup was also refreshing and delicious. The sauce is on the table and you can add more yourself. The staff are kind and polite. The food is served quickly. Cash only. The restaurant's parking lot is about one block south of the restaurant, on the right corner, and has space for about three cars.

(Translated by Google) After debating between Sakuraya and Unayoshi in Mishima, I decided on Unayoshi, but it was closing down due to relocation... Instead of going to Sakuraya or Yasuminobo, I decided to go to Kamitsuchi Unayoshi in Numazu. It was my first time at Kamitsuchi, and the sauce was sweeter than Honmachi's, but the fat was lighter and it was surprisingly light. There was extra sauce available on the table, and when I added this sauce, the soy sauce came out and the sweet and spicy flavor became stronger. Perhaps because it was steamed for a longer time, or perhaps to match the sweetness of the sauce, the eel was incredibly plump and had a texture that was unlike any other, and it was absolutely delicious. It seems the prices have gone up a bit, but for such a long-established restaurant, it still seems quite reasonable! I'd definitely like to go again, just for this place♪ (Original)

When exiting, please be careful as there is a large blind spot for cars coming from the right side. It was already past noon, so the restaurant was empty. Instead, we had finished the recommended set meal using deep-sea fish. I ordered a fried horse mackerel set meal. Parks
Nestled between the scenic routes of Shuzenji Onsen and Heda, Shuzenji Niji-no-Sato is a delightful flower-themed park that offers an enchanting blend of nature and nostalgia. Visitors can hop aboard vintage-style coaches pulled by charming miniature steam engines, making for a whimsical ride through the lush landscape. The park is particularly stunning in autumn when the foliage transforms into vibrant shades of gold and copper, beautifully illuminated at night for a magical experience.
Mysterious, shabby, atmospheric theme park filled with exciting buildings and gardens. It feels like it has seen better days, which gives it much of its charm, but there’s so much to see, including a toy museum, kaleidoscope museum, Canadian village, English village, magical gardens that are well planted and maintained, great vernacular/ traditional buildings, paper making workshop, mask Museum…. Highly recommend.

Very helpful that you can bring your cats and dogs with you and the establishment is quite big there are so many places where you could walk to and spend time and you could and also should bring your own food and spend here the whole day. We didn't even manage to see half of it. And then if there are no clouds you will be able to have wonderful views of Mount Fuji however even on a fully sunny day Mount Fuji will still find a bunch of clouds just around itself so that you can see it. If it is important to you make sure to check on the website for the Fuji visibility since it is quite accurate. They serve food but would not recommend Canada village because they didn't put the effort to join the travel coupon Grant and you cannot use your coupons there only at English village Costa coffee. Speaking of that the lady from the British double decker bus Costa coffee was so friendly and nice and understanding and helpful we liked her a lot and also the fact that we could use our travel points there and her pasta being half of expensive as the one in Canada village. There is also a Rose garden with standard basic Rose types, beautiful Japanese garden with pond and traditional arched bridge and there's a road to this park the rooms where Soseki a famous Japanese novelist used to stay and write his books and have a memorial of it where you can get inside and see how it was long ago. For every season they have the seasonal flowers blooming hydrangea wisteria Iris cherry blossom and the red Autumn leaves. In Winter they organize very extensive illuminations scattered in the park but they charge quite much for that entrance ticket and you cannot stay with your daytime ticket you have to get out and buy a new one which is very not practical crazy expensive. It's a small train riding around the park however you have to pay extra for that one too. Toilets are for free though 😂. They have thatched roof old type of buildings and American-Indian village and if Lucky Mount Fuji can be photographed in many places they have installations for your selfie taking operation and even have poles where you could insert your phone and use a self timer to take your selfies.

Speaking of the tourist destination of Shuzenji in Izu, it was "Niji no Sato". I was looking forward to paying the entrance fee and entering the park. The parking lot was also charged. There were very few customers. Are there few flowers blooming in June? The park is very large, but there are very few attractions. If you look forward to seeing the beautiful flowers, you will be disappointed. I simply go to enjoy nature, so if you have one, it would be a good place to take a walk. Several shops were closed, probably because there were few customers. That's too bad.

A very well designed and built UK theme park. I think it’s actually very well done. It may be a little old but I think it is still very aesthetically pleasing. It can be a little creepy because there are very few people around (maybe because of COVID-19). But I am sure when it is during its peak period, it could be more fun. This park is MASSIVE and you should allocated minimally 2-3 hours if you really want to explore the whole park. There is even a view point to see Mt Fuji. There are a lot of food stalls all over the park so you don’t have to worry about being hungry or thirsty. I would definitely go back again if I were to be at this area.

I really enjoyed my trip here. We went there the morning after a big typhoon and so there weren’t many people. If you don’t like bugs or being in nature I don’t recommend it. We started the day on the train and went to the Canadian village where we enjoyed the kaleidoscope museum and learning about their sister city. Next, we walked through the fairy and Japanese garden to go up to the craft village. We had so much fun making a name plate and wine holder. The lady there was so kind and encouraging. Unforgettable experience. It could be expensive, my name plate was around 2000 yen, but if you pick a smaller plate and do just your name I think you could make it for only around 1000 yen. The views were very nice from the village and I fell into the koi pond at the Japanese garden lol. We had so much fun at a restaurant in the Izu village! The British village definitely seemed the most worn out but I think it was fun. Price wise I guess it could be expensive for a place that not even everything is open and stuff. I didn’t think the walk around was that long at all as there were various things to see and do along the way. Walk through the garden to get from one side to another and not on the road. I think that many places need improvement and we’re not the cleanest but it is an old place. If you just namedrop a nearby ryokan like arai they will give you a 400 yen discount lol. For 800 yen I definitely think it was worth it but you have to consider; do you like walking around in nature? Do you mind older facilities? Do you mind dropping money on various things here and there? If you prepare your mind accordingly I think you can have a great time.

It's a cute little Sand Beach. Nothing fancy but pleasant. For parking, I'm guessing that most people park at the aquarium which is 500 yen. However that closes at 5 p.m. and we arrived after that. Whenever there is a little parking lot right next to the 7-Eleven parking lot charges 500 yen for the day. You just go into the inn across the street from the beach and pay them 500 yen and then they give you a piece of paper to put on your dash.

Nice little beach, small, sandy, a car park near which cost 500yen. We went on Thursday afternoon and it was pretty quiet, also you can see lots of fish, squid etc in the sea. Waves are small, so good for kids, and it's the Love Live Sunshine beach, so a little famous too, its doesn't look like the anime though, it's a bit dirty...

Beautiful quiet little spot. Relaxing, interesting history (requires a translation app for those who don’t speak Japanese), and beautiful nature and view of the bay.

Interesting place with a good view of the bay and mt Fuji on a good day! All explanations are in Japanese only so it may be difficult to understand the history of the castle, but it's a good spot for an easy hike.

Ose Shrine, a revered site established after the devastating earthquake of 684, is dedicated to hikitechikara-no-mikoto, the deity believed to safeguard those at sea. Local fishermen have long honored this shrine by offering red undergarments as prayers for safe voyages. The journey to Ose Shrine is enhanced by a scenic drive along a tranquil cove with stunning views of Mt. Fuji.
Home of the 150 year old Juniper tree.

Nice small shrine on a hill with a view of ōse cape. You can access this for free but to walk out around the fresh water lake and tip if the peninsula you have to pay ¥100

(Translated by Google) It's about an hour's drive from Numazu along a winding road that runs along the coast. There are some narrow places along the way, but buses can also run on it. There is a paid parking lot just before. There are facilities for swimming and scuba diving, so I imagine it gets quite crowded in season. The shrine is surrounded by trees and has unique decorations, which makes it hard to believe it's by the sea. You can also see Mt. Fuji between the pine trees, which is wonderful. The pond beyond is truly mysterious, and the sacred tree makes you feel the strength of life. It was a really wonderful experience. (Translated by Google) Ose Shrine is located in a place that juts out into the sea, and its unique atmosphere of being one with nature is its charm. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the shrine grounds is breathtaking, a truly spectacular sight that can only be seen here. The imposing large camphor tree and the shrine building that exudes history are also worth seeing. It is a fun place to visit as a tourist, and it is also perfect for spending some quiet time to calm your mind. It is a place where you can feel the power of nature itself rather than the warmth of people, and the sounds of the wind and waves echo pleasantly. After passing through the mountain path and descending the road, I found a parking lot and parked there. Some people were parking there to swim. I wondered if there was a shrine ⛩️ up ahead, so I walked along the coast. There were a lot of divers, and I thought, "This must be a great place for diving!" It was a very hot day, and the wind was strong. Because of that, the path to the shrine felt long, but when I arrived, I was soothed by the quiet atmosphere. I received a pre-written goshuin (temple seal), bought a fortune slip, and paid the fee to go to the pond further ahead. The water wasn't very clear due to the rain the day before, but it was a very mystical place right next to the sea. There were also many carp, and they seemed to approach the sound of footsteps. The sacred tree was also very impressive. I walked to the lighthouse further ahead. I'm really glad I visited! Mihama Beach in Numazu offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji and is a popular spot for loggerhead turtles to breed. The nearby Numazu Summer Festival Kano River Fireworks adds to the charm of the area. The journey to Heda along Prefectural Highway 17 provides refreshing views of the Izu coastline, with little traffic even in summer. The beach itself is family-friendly, with designated squares for social distancing, free parking, and additional attractions like a tidal wall for fishing.
Fun little beach area for a chill family day. The beach is currently separated into squares for each family for social distancing. There was free parking and if you drive down a little further there’s even an tidal wall that’s great for fishing. On the beach itself there are bathrooms and a little boat/inner tube rental shop and food shop that wasn’t open when we went but maybe opens on the weekends. There’s also an amazing view of Mount Fuji from the tidal wall as well as a Tori gate with a walking trail from one side of the beach to the other.

If you're keen into fishing at night and enjoy swimming in a calm white sand beach, this is your place. Mihama beach is a bay while the other side it has rocky coastal area for fishing. You can also join the fishing boat trip from the nearby store.

It's a good beach with almost clear water, no heavy waves and a lifeguard on standby. The entrance fee of ¥1500 for a kei car with 1 person was too expensive. Little or no shade so bring your tents and tarpaulins. Due to covid-19, they sectioned off spaces for social distancing. Only 2 restrooms available and only 2 shops with limited food choices.

Anti main stream spot. Really beautiful. Public transport a little bit incovenient but it’s worth it to visit. Kids friendly

I honestly wasn't sure what I would find here; it was more about the journey than the destination for me. The road I cycled to get to Heda (Prefectural Highway 17) offered a refreshing dearth of traffic, even in the middle of summer, and absolutely stunning views along the Izu coastline. Heda itself is a charming little fishing village. There's an aquarium and a shipbuilding museum there, both of which were closed when I went (on Wednesday).

It is nice calm and clear water, protected by the harbor. But also, protected by a net. And so, the space to swim is not that big. Good for small kids but adults may be disappointed.

Nestled in a charming port town, 丸吉食堂 is a culinary gem that specializes in deep-sea fish and seafood delicacies. Renowned for its extraordinary B high legs crab, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with dishes that highlight the rich flavors of the ocean. The seasonal availability of their crabs adds to the excitement, so it's best to plan your visit before May or early June. Guests rave about the warm atmosphere and friendly service at 丸吉食堂.
It will take time for most of you to even come here. However, it is worth thinking about it. Deep sea fish is famous in this small port town. The B “high legs” crab here is extraordinary by its size and rich taste. Watch out for the seasonality. Probably it’s ending in May or early June. This almost folk lore story restaurant serves fresh crab, and the way they cook is just great. A heart warming restaurant. MUST reserve your seat a week or two before. We had steamed it and also crab innard paste was used to make risotto.

We wanted to try Heda’s famous spider crab, and this was a great choice. We selected a delicious crab, and had kani croquettes and lovely sashimi. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helped us by explaining how best to enjoy the crab. The view was great and we were very happy. Thank you!

We came here for lunch. The long drive was worth it. Service was good, very friendly staffs. We picked our own crab and it was delicous. The crab miso was amazing. If you have left over of the miso, the staff might ask if you want to mix rice in or not, making it miso porridge. They even gave us their homegrown oranges for free!

Nestled in the picturesque Izu region, Kaigaratei is a delightful dining spot that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. Located conveniently next to the Hirasawa Diving Center and just steps away from Lala Sun Beach in Numazu City, this restaurant offers both a stunning view of the sea and a diverse menu that caters to various tastes.

(Translated by Google) This restaurant is located in front of Lala Sun Beach in Numazu City. It is a restaurant where you can both stay and eat 😋On my third visit, I had seafood spaghetti for 1,500 yen and a set meal with sashimi of red sea bream saikyoyaki for 1,980 yen, which is the recommended daily dish 😋First, I quenched my thirst with a beer 🍺 while waiting for my meal. The location from the restaurant is good, and you can look outside and enjoy the sea view while waiting. There are about five tables in the restaurant, and it is large enough that it can accommodate 15 people. It was almost full as soon as it opened. Now, as for the important food, it comes with small dishes and has a good variety ✨The spaghetti is a seafood-filled soup with a strong dashi stock. I thought it would also go well with alcohol🍺I haven't heard much about grilled red sea bream in saikyo style, so I'm looking forward to it😊It comes with about four kinds of sashimi, which goes well with rice🍚❣️As for the saikyoyaki, the protein of the sea bream combined with the umami of the miso, and it was a wonderful dish with a soft texture👍The rice went down so well that I had seconds😋It's a great restaurant in terms of the view, food, and atmosphere❣️There are about seven parking spaces on the side, but I'm not sure if there are any others? We gathered from Kanagawa and Shizuoka and visited for lunch. The restaurant has a raised platform, so we recommend that riders wear boots that are easy to take off. We had made a reservation in advance, so the set meal was served shortly after, as shown in the picture. The main dish of rockfish was fried crispy and the sashimi was fresh. There was a wide variety of dishes, which was a feast for the eyes and the tongue, but the portions may be a little too much for women. The restaurant has an ocean view right in front of it. It was a sweaty day when we visited, but the location with a pleasant sea breeze was great.
