Clean only where is trading, if you come beyond the market it’s so dirty and dark. It’s safe, no worries at all. For experience it’s nice. Prices are highly overpriced and goods are there over-old and not fresh. Maybe some shops are genuine, you may bargain and get things really cheap. Very boring place. Cafes there don’t have any customer service. However it’s a heritage and it’s somehow beautiful and entertaining. There is gold market. Fancy and excited.

We saw the waterfalls when driving and though we would check this out. They are part of the park. We went in June. it was completely empty. It was quite clean. Many playground for kids. The park is big and we didn’t see all of it but we liked the parts that we walked through

A beautiful large park which has a small lake, beautiful walking paths, numerous benches and picnic tables under the shade, a small amphitheater, and a spectacular man-made waterfall. Entrance is free and it's a great place to walk, sit under a shady tree and have a picnic, watch the kids play on one of several free playgrounds, or go to the back of the park to walk around the lake or see the waterfall. There are several water closets in the park, clean and well maintained. There is also a fancy restaurant near the main entrance. A great place for walking, or bring the family to play and relax in the shade. If you're in this part of Muscat and you like parks, I would certainly recommend this one.

There were some collations of adventures to enjoy the peacefulness and get rid of some worries. We can take children to enjoy the places with them. There is a lot of fun and we can go on a picnic there. Just imagine we can rent a cycle/electric bike to around there. There is one pond also there. We can go walk around the pond. Took 6km it's my calculations. May took more. We can enjoy it peacefully and we can leave memories there. ✨💕There little bit of neatness is needed.

Portions for prices are great. A good place to visit if you’re planning to try authentic levantine/Turkish cuisine for good prices and good quality. Lamb chops and Kebab were on top of the items in terms of taste. Pida and pizza were good as well. The indoor dinning area is very humble but clean. The outdoor is traditional and would definitely have been our first option only if we visited in winter.

The service was good but we found the food underwhelming. The shawarma was dry and the Iskender kebab lacked flavour. This place has a great reputation, but I'm struggling to understand why. I've tried other Turkish restaurants in Muscat which are far superior. I'll try and give it another try.

During lunchtime, the place is packed with people on their work breaks, which says a lot about its popularity. Must-try items at Baba Salem include the Arabic Shawarma, Shawarma Platter, and the Iskander Kebab. And of course, being in Muscat, no meal feels complete without a refreshing Ice Lemon Mint. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with a charming garden concept, making it a lovely spot to enjoy food—especially in the winter. For the hotter months, there’s an air-conditioned dining area on the first floor, which is perfect for keeping cool.

I loved my butter chicken — rich and flavorful — and my partner’s Gold Tasting Menu was a fantastic way to sample many dishes. Prices are reasonable for the quality, though not the cheapest. I’d definitely go again and bring any guests visiting Muscat.

The tiniest I’ve ever seen, almost a culinary crime! Service is just okay, not matching the hype or the hefty price tag. As a local Muscatian, I find it hard to justify the cost for what’s offered. This is a one-time-visit kind of place, more suited for business entertainment than a go-to dining spot. Sorry, folks, but I can’t recommend it—there are better options out there for the price. The place is beautiful, and the food was delicious. However, two staff members came across as quite rude. We had requested one of the waiters to make a dish less spicy, but it was served very spicy anyway. Fortunately, another staff member who later served us was genuinely kind and attentive. Overall, the ambience made the experience pleasant, but the service could definitely be improved.

The tamarind chutney didn't pair well, the taste was subpar, and the dim sum’s skin was too thick. - The creamy almond chicken and Rajasthani chicken gravy were almost identical, with the only difference being the almond and cream content. Even the steward acknowledged this. - The lentil yellow, meant to be dal fry, did not meet expectations. - The seekh kebab was very bland. **Concerns:** - The high menu prices are not justified by the quality of the food. Most dishes weren't made with the best ingredients, and two main courses tasted the same. At such high prices, each dish should be distinctly prepared, not just variations of the same gravy. - The silverware was good, but the main course serving dishes looked cheap. Visited the Souq on Friday 4pm and was not as per my expectation, decided to get some food and did not want to sit outside in this heat. Came across Kurkum and ordered some butter kitchen, dal makni and paneer tikka masala. Food was great and fulling and the service was also good.

It's a pretty good mall. It has all the basic things and some more to buy. I liked the interior designs and the lighting. Even though it looks spacious from the outside, it's not that big inside or at least it doesn't feel so. Other than that, pretty OK, mall, for buying anything you need. One noteworthy detail is that they have a space in the food court just for children and kids to dine, which I thought was really cute and thoughtful. It's a pretty well designed food court. Another thing I felt that needs improvement is the washrooms sign boards. The directions are pretty hard to find and rather cryptic, especially for first-timers. Overall pretty good mall.

The interior of the shopping mall seemed to be a bit older and darker, even inside the mall, in a slump, considering that some spaces are left empty after they're gone. The food court also looked desolate, considering the large area and small number of shops, which made me realise. From the outside, it looked huge and the well-lit decorations made it attractive, especially at night. The main reason is that the new shopping centre has been built next to it. I found a new vending machine that was about to squeeze fresh oranges into fresh juice. I tried to put in a bank note several times, but it never accepted it. I also wondered why the two machines located on the ground floor near the main entrance and on the first floor in the food court area looked the same but had different prices, 1 and 0.5 OMR. Do they have different sized cups? I have high expectations that they would come to get new unique attractive shops and facilities. I felt that the shopping mall looked like the human being getting older and older while the new generation is born and grows up every year. They look like athletes who were active in the past. It was like watching the prosperity rise and fall in this shopping mall.

Nice mall with a lot of cafe shops, but a lot of empty or "open soon" or "coming soon" stores. There is a nice place for kids to play. It's worth a visit if you are nearby

I have actually visited this mall only for VSF Center Maybe it’s a lovely mall. I don’t know, that was my first time visiting. Maybe I will visit sometime later to grab a coffee or something.

Different brands available than all of the other malls in muscat and this is what i think is special about that mall . Yet number of shops is very limited and it is mostly empty. Brands available are on the higher-end and the highlight is that the Visa application centre is located at that mall and this is why people go there . Unfortunately many shops are closed and or empty invluding the restaurant and food court side

I just like its small food court as there are two good restaurants for sushi anf Thai food in it. Rather than the good restaurants, there is notning to explore in it.

One of the finest architecture in world. Majestic and beautiful. This place exudes omani grandeur and is a mixture of Islamic architectures all over world. Women need to cover head and dress appropriately to cover the whole body. Men should avoid shorts. Non muslims can enter only 8 AM to 11 AM except Friday. Take atleast 1.5 hours in hand to explore the palace and garden. Main done is behind the small done. Make sure to have a water bottle as lots of things to be explored. By 11:30 guards start preparing the place for namaz prayer. It looks excellent in night from outside. Muslims can enter any time for prayer

Beautiful mosque. Built between 1994 and 2001 on a previously free land from the will of the sultan in order to give to Muscat the right place to pray between tradition and modernity. The outside is big with fountains, plants and flowers. Then there is the mosque, outside is magnificent and beautiful to admire with his Carrara's marble (always cleaned and polished), towers and structures. The inside is beautiful too with a chandelier of 8 tons and a beautiful Iranian carpet. A different with other mosque I saw is that here is not possibile to sit and some area of the mosque are fenced. It's possible to roam outside though the halls that are really nice through the morning light (inside, the mosque is open only from 8 to 11). The entrance is free, and the clothes must be respectful.

The mosque is the definition of magnificient!!!! The grand mosque is just too beautiful , you cant imagine or can see the true beauty from images or videos, perdonally visit this mosque and feel it. Womens can also visit it but only before 11Am also with modest dressing. So keep in mind before visiting. The food was delicious and service was commendable. This is our 4th time eating in Zen (twice in City Center Seeb and twice in Avenues) and so far it never dissapoint. What we ordered this time: Zen special fried rice- 4/5 Pad Thai-4/5 Shrimp dumplings-4/5 Vegetable spring roll- 4/5

The food was really tasty, however the waiter seemed to be in a hurry even though we were the only ones sitting. He would just try to move away from us as soon as possible. Another thing, super sad Billie Eilish music was playing so the atmosphere was super depressing.

Lo mein noodles were great with soft beef and thick bouncy noodles. The sauce was well coated. The sushi rolls were good, the crab sticks had a frozen aftertaste to it. Other than this, the rolls were good. Along with the dipping sauce, it was great to eat. Service is polite and quick. Although the lack of a menu card was an issue. We ordered from the screenshot on insta, the font was not great, and it was a difficult to read the contents.

This place serves Indonesian cuisine and I was impressed by the quality and flavors in the food. Loved dynamite prawns and nasi goreng was just yummy. Spicy Thai chicken was really good too. Overall a nice place but the only complaint was that we wanted to try some nice items on the menu like the soup and some other stuff and they were not available. I heard from a friend that he had a similar experience earlier.

Great shisha and very nice set-up. Their food is nice too. It is located within fraser suite hotel . Service is spot-on. The place has a heritage decors and is very well designed with indoor and outdoor seating areas. They have huge screens outdoor. The crowd and music is nice too. It is open daily until 2:00 am . Prices are not cheap

Had a wonderful experience, specially the Filipino guy who assist us he's very accommodating and very knowledgeable it's really a big help for us. Their cheese cake is really amazing, shisha was excellent 👌 and the ginger tea with twist of orange juice 🍊 is really something else never had that before 👌👌👌 Everything was perfect ❤️❤️❤️

I knew this place when I was attending a friend wedding at the hotel where the cafe is located, the Cafe is good has nice design, food, juices and shisha is nice. The place has issue of AC is very cold and waiter Said they cannot control it seems need to check this. There is a terrace with outdoor setting and nice city view . overall nice for occasional visits

We ordered an Iskender and pide. Unfortunately, the meat in the Iskender was too dry and had a lot of fatty bits. The pide we ordered was served in a circle rather than the classic boat shape. It was like ordering a pizza with lots of cheese instead of the classic pide. The interior of the restaurant looks more like a snack bar, so there was no wow effect when we entered.

I visited Turkish Suleyman Pasha Restaurant and had a great experience. Their chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The shawarma platter was also delicious and definitely worth trying. The ambiance is pleasant, with the choice of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a comfortable place to dine. Overall, a very enjoyable spot for good turkish food and a nice atmosphere.

Overall, the food was delicious & fresh each portion had huge quantities. It left me full up to my throat. The service was quick and efficient. A perfect place to eat when you're really starving and crave grilled food. The only drawback is the atmosphere, as the area is always very busy and full of cars coming from everywhere all the time. Hence there is no privacy if you're sitting outside - the people in the cars are right in front of you which is quite annoying especially when you're eating.

I ordered grilled chicken with yellow rice plus appetizers and their special drink from a fruit sourced in Oman on a last day of Ramadan. The food was all exceptional and even the staff were accommodating & friendly! Definitely recommended 🤙🏻

amazing location, right opposite the beach and close to the kids’ play area, which makes it perfect for families. The interiors are very aesthetic and give a cozy, modern vibe. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the location and ambiance. One of the highlights is that they have an indoor kids’ play area, filled with puzzles and games, so children stay entertained while adults enjoy their meal. We went especially to try their chocolate bomb, but unfortunately it wasn’t available that day., the other items we ordered were very delicious – especially the Alfredo pasta, which was creamy and flavorful. They also accept Entertainer offers. The customer service was very good, and overall the café has a nice vibe and theme. Definitely planning to go back again to finally try the chocolate bomb and some of their other desserts!

The Omani breakfast was a standout, generously portioned and said to serve two, but it easily satisfied three of us. We added beans, hummus, honey, and eggs, and every bite was delicious and filling. After breakfast, you can grab an ice cream and take a leisurely walk along the corniche or let the kids enjoy the swings and slides in the garden. The menu has various options Atmosphere - Great background upbeat lounge music, stunning view of Qurum beach, inside & outside seating available weather dependant Service - Service was top notch and we did not wait longer than 15 - 20 minute for our food and beverages. Yahya was great and he anticipated our needs which made this experience extra special Food - We went for breakfast, we had the eggs benedict with salmon and the english styled breakfast. The food was tasty, fresh and good presentation. Came here for dinner and cancelled to sit outside due to the strong wind; the outside area is attached to kids playground and nice view). However, the upper area is adequate as well. The foods are lovely, we ordered Chicken Biryani, Shawarma Platter, Chicken Alfredo Pasta and some kids meals (turns out they all came in really big portion with those prices!) The service was excellent, servers are friendly and helpful

It was genuinely so much better than the standard breakfast offered at our hotel. But the best part was the people. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. ​Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. If you're in the area, I can't recommend this place enough. It’s a must-visit.
