Went on a Monday night about 23:30 place was empty no dj not very good atmosphere

Popped in to watch a LFC match and there was nobody in, so the atmosphere wasn't great! Price of a pint was shocking at 6 rial, we left at half time. Plenty of screens for the right event though.

We were disrespected by a waiter called Qasim, abusing us in Arabic for just asking direction for club safari because there were 2 bars . No customer care at all..

Great place to hang out at late night and have some fun. There is a entry fee of R.O. 5. Earlier this entry fee could be reimbursed with a drink but now its not available. There is dance floor and music is wild and loud.This club is located in Grand hayat muscat and is crowded after 12.

Getting progressively better. Peaceful place for a beer and pub grub from 7 to 9pm then progressively noisy from then on. After a bad start when live bands were blocked, the disco is now a positive feature.

I came first time to this place I pay 5 Or as Entrance including 1free drink when asked dthe bar man my drink he said its not included this he ofer me something else when he serviced to me he asked me 7 OR ( what it should be free) . The bar man was soooooooo Rude I never see like this Ruse person in my life then I pay my beer and I cut the Entrance ticket so one beer coast me 11 Or . It's bad experience qnd it's shameful even to let people like this bar man to work in the hospitality.i will never back agane and I will not recumanted this place

A great place to visit. We got a quick tour of the opera (up to 10 mins about history) and then we had a free time. It is a beautiful place, it is a pure definition of royalty. Worth seeing. Cost per person is 3.1 OMR, only by card.

The building beautifully blends traditional Omani architecture with modern design, making it one of the most iconic landmarks in the country. I couldn’t manage time to visit inside, but stopped for a while to take some photos. The architecture is truly stunning — elegant, detailed, and a masterpiece that reflects Oman’s rich heritage.

I truly enjoyed my time here and wished there had been a display of past performances, perhaps through a projector on stage or even just audio. It would have been wonderful to see an exhibition showcasing all the bands or singers who performed, along with their signatures. Additionally, I would have loved a gift shop to pick up a souvenir as a memento of the experience.

The Royal Opera House Muscat is a cultural center opened in the year 2011. It is known for its unique contemporary Omani architecture with featuring Omani marble and elegant arches. There is a 1,100-seat concert and opera theatre, with gardens, markets, and restaurants. It hosts a wide range of international and local performances including opera, ballet, and classical concerts etc. There are a lot of musical instruments on display with information about each one. The Opera House conducts a guided tour every 20 min which is free for the visitors. It's worth visiting this place which requires about 30 min only.

We arrived at the place and bought tickets there., it included English speaking guide... it was interesting to know about the royal opera and knowledgeable...I plan to attend an Opera in the future insha'Allah...beautiful place and the Oepra hall inside looks really Royal....beautiful experience. A great little find just next to the main hotel. A good range of beers and wines and good food too. More of a sports bar type of food than fine dining but good food anyway. Many screens to watch your favourite sport on. We watched an English FA cup game whilst we were there and the screens are big and of good quality. I would definitely return to this place. The staff were polite and friendly.

A nice play tucked away discreetly next to the Hyatt. Cold beer and great service at the bar. A few pool tables and a good crowd. Drinks were relatively decently priced for the area. It was nice to have an option like this not too far from where I am staying.

Dive sports bar at grande hyatt with it's own outside entrance so you don't have to get all dressed up. Cold beer. very good pub fair and the pool tables are full size and flat. Staff was amazing and provided excellent service. customers we’re half omani and half expat. everyone was nice and friendly. good times to me be had here and not that expensive really for what you get.

A good place to watch footy with a mild-mannered clientele. Really good nachos-- and cheesecake for the indulgent.

Happy hour at 10pm!!! Great cocktails and service, well made and very much appreciated. The grapefruit cocktail is particularly good. The bar just needs a few more people in order to create a nice environment. Perhaps the hotels can promote?

On the way to Piano Lounge and mesmerised by this beautiful crystal chandelier - the longest I’ve seen so far in a hotel stairway💎 Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Located on the first floor of Al Bandar, The Piano Lounge offers curated menu, with specialties like Frankincense Spritz. Ofcourse if you prefer non-alcoholic delights, try Lyre's zero-proof cocktails 🍹

Zero service- just because am not white skinned no one served me in the right manner!!! And this is in all of their restaurants we went to, we walked from bab lounge ( closed) their seafood restaurant ( where we waited for almost 20 mins with no service), and then finally came to to the piano lounge where i was severed a below average drink which I apologized and asked if it could be changed and the bar manger was soooo RUDE!!!! - I don’t know why because I was overly nice and apologized myself. Also, i tried speaking to him and he just walked away. 5 star hospitality for sure! This is a very Luxurious place to hang out, with both areas for privacy and areas to be seen in.

Absolutely dead when we visited at 2145. Need to visit again when it's busier as everywhere else in this complex has made a great impression.

This place gives you royal feel. But recently when I visited Shangri-La 4 months back I found this place has been closed temporary due to covid reasons.

Keep on loving coming to this place every time wanted some Cuban vibes in Muscat. The food is so delicious. The menu just got updated a few minor changes but the place is spectacular for really nice wonderful night out with friends and family. The food is amazing The well Decorated drinks. It never gets old doesn’t matter when however the weekend is the best time to come over I enjoy the steak and a padThai. Those are my favorite dishes.

That said, the execution is generally solid. The prices at Trader Vic’s Muscat are on the higher end, reflecting both the premium location and the upscale experience. Tasty, authentic, big portions This restaurant offers various dishes infused by French Polynesia. Everything is very tasty, but I want to highlight Pad Thai and Peri Peri Chicken - they are really cool! Good salads and appetizers, tasty desserts as well. The choice of cocktails is really overwhelming - so many Mai tai cocktail variations you’ve never seen before! They have big cocktail card, all drinks are served in an unusual way. The interior is very atmospheric - it feels like you’re really in French Polynesia. The restaurant has indoor seat and outdoor terrace as well. Staff is friendly and polite. There are live music evenings in the restaurant.

Trader Vic’s never disappoints. Great food, excellent ambience, wonderful drinks, nice vibe. What else can one expect. If you are looking for a good night out, this should be your destination. There was also gluten free option.

My favorite place if I have mood to go and listen to Latin music , as it has an amazing live band, that I always enjoy. Amazing service , very friendly supervisor , Mr. Abdul always very welcoming and nice, my favorite is Lili,who always provides the best service and make me feel special. We went in on Friday night and the place was packed. Went back again on Saturday night and it was quite empty but with amazing live music. The drink in the picture was incredible and super strong.

Tradervic’s muscat exceeded my expectations. The ambience was elegant furniture looked old. The service staff was attentive. I ordered Salmon & Pad Thai both of which were cooked to perfection , flavorful and good presentation. Thanks to chefs and entire team for a tip-notch dining experience. Highly recommend.

That’s crazy old. Feels like I am at 1940. There are Indians trading everywhere. And Foreigners who are buying. Old fashioned shop. Clean only where is trading, if you come beyond the market it’s so dirty and dark. It’s safe, no worries at all. For experience it’s nice. Prices are highly overpriced and goods are there over-old and not fresh. Maybe some shops are genuine, you may bargain and get things really cheap. Very boring place. Cafes there don’t have any customer service. However it’s a heritage and it’s somehow beautiful and entertaining. There is gold market. Fancy and excited.

The place looked beautiful with all the lights during the night time, but the only issue we faced was parking… it was hard to find a spot on the weekend. However, if you go a bit further, there’s a large parking area near the musical fountain.

The Souq in Mutrah, the old commercial centre of Muscat is magical. It fronts the 'Corniche' the harbour where His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's dhow is anchored as well as cruise ships and Omani naval vessels. Mutrah souq offers just about everything of Omani origin, such as hessian bags of frankincense, pots of herbs and spices and dried out rose petals from Jebel Akdhar, as well as pungent perfumes such as bukhoor, all offered for sale by cheerful vendors, there are also pashminas and Omani caps, robes and turbans of every colour and of course khanjars both antique and brand new, the traditional ceremonial dagger of Oman. I picked up a lovely wooden whistle that plays Irish jigs melodiously!Mutrah also boasts a Gold Souq which is brimming with shops selling jewellery of all design styles. Muttrah Souq is a must-visit destination, known for its beautiful location and stunning sea view. It is one of Oman’s most famous traditional markets, offering a unique blend of authenticity and variety in traditional products. The prices are reasonable, and the market features a remarkable gold section with exquisite modern and classic designs. Walking through its narrow alleys filled with the rich scents of frankincense and spices is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend visiting to explore its charm and discover the beauty of Omani craftsmanship. A truly exceptional market.

Visited Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest traditional markets in Oman, dating back over a century. This historic marketplace has been a major trading hub for goods like spices, perfumes, textiles, and gold, reflecting Oman’s rich maritime past. I really enjoyed exploring the narrow lanes filled with the aroma of frankincense and traditional Omani charm. Many of the shopkeepers are Malayalees, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff make this place at ease. Heratha was great in service and to customize our grub per our needs. Ambience is a lil dark, yet cozy with ample seating options. A few screens to stream live sports. Happy hours until 8pm. A legend in Muscat over the decades. With staff ever so cheerful, a good place to wind down after work.

The pub used to be one of the best in town, but last week I visited the place it was terrible, not upto Intercontinental hotel standards. The waiter forgot to order my drink and I had to go myself to order it, after waiting for more than 15 minutes. The cocktail was so bad it was unbelievable.

We had a wonderful visit to Mutrah Corniche, now even more delightful with the new musical fountain that adds charm for evenings. It’s an ideal hangout spot for families and kids, offering scenic sea views, artful walkways, and soothing music that enhances the atmosphere. The well-maintained promenade is perfect for strolling, relaxing, and enjoying the coastal breeze. Just a heads-up: parking can be quite difficult during weekend rush hours, so visiting by taxi or earlier in the day is a good idea. Overall, a lovely family-friendly destination with views and entertainment for all ages.

An evening place for hangout in muscat. There’s a muttrah souq besides it. Not really crowded in weekdays.

One of my favourite spots in Muscat for fish and chips. I keep coming back because theirs is, in my opinion, the best in town – crispy, fresh, and always satisfying. The view from the balcony is another highlight, with a stunning overlook of Qurum beach that adds to the whole experience. Great food, great setting.

Duke’s Bar at Crowne Plaza Muscat is hands down the best spot in Muscat to enjoy a sunset. The view is absolutely breathtaking – a perfect backdrop as the sun dips into the horizon. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, and the service was excellent throughout. I tried the Hoegaarden beer, and it was served perfectly chilled – an absolute delight. From start to finish, everything about the evening felt seamless and enjoyable. If you’re in Muscat, this is the one place you must visit for an unforgettable sunset experience. The view is amazing. But the food is below average. We had the Camel Burger and it was extremely dry. The Salt n Pepper Baby Squid was good. Drinks were flat and watery Wouldn’t come here again.

Great looking Irish pub. Friendly crew & top notch service. Offering popcorn while you wait for your big dish. I ordered fish & chips & it was very good, so juicy & tasty. Wide selection of beers & liquors. Hope Guinness beer will be back soon. Price on the high side but it is expected.

This is a nice underground pub available at Radisson Al Khuwair. However it is very compact therefore feel a bit congested.

Slightly expensive, in general in Oman prices of liquor have increased, but nice ambience and selection of liquor. Guinness, Dab, Colt 45, Stella Artois are some of the beers available. Most people start coming in after 10pm on Thursdays and Fridays apparently. If you want to have a drink or two with friends in peace, visit before this time.

Visited on a Thursday night and had a good time. Really lively place, good music from Pop, R&B to Afrobeats (which really surprised me) - fantastic DJ. Lots of sitting and dancing space work lots of cider, beer, wine and spirits on offer. Not sure about cocktails, didn't see any the whole night. The prices are very fair too!

It is fairly nice bar in the locality as per location. It is little expensive specially when u have have international dj playing. The sad part is you are not allowed to click photos or videos which I guess is as per policy but has a good ambiance specially when you are out with friends. Drinks are little expensive compared to similar bar however service is very nice and lot to explore in terms of various drinks available. Entry to this place is little confusing if you come via main entrance of hotel. Good for thrusdays and Fridays !

We had a farewell party for a friend at Caramel Cafe at the Royal Opera House, and everything was amazing! The DJ kept the energy up all afternoon, the food was delicious, and the ambience was just perfect. A special thanks to Elena — she was so kind and attentive throughout the event. This is a fine dining restaurant that offers the local Omani cuisine. Tried all the must haves as we had the tasting menu. The service was superb! Recommend for tourists wanting to experience a local meal, in a fancy setting.

One of Muscat’s most elegant fine dining spots, located right next to the Royal Opera House. The interiors are stunning authentic Omani architecture with royal-level decor. The food is traditional and delicious: don’t miss the shuwa, jareesh, or king fish in coconut sauce. Service is warm, and the full tasting menu gives you a real sense of Omani flavors. Slightly pricey, but worth it for the experience. Reservations recommended!

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent, but my evening was completely ruined by one of the waitresses (the taller one). Her behaviour was strikingly inelegant, hostile in attitude, and completely inadequate for such an establishment. She poured my coffee, placed the pot on the table, and told me to serve myself, all with a dismissive hostility that lingered in the air like an unpleasant scent. She later cleared the table again, abruptly and without the slightest courtesy, showing a complete lack of grace and professionalism. Embarrassing to see. I had been polite, respectful, and genuinely appreciative throughout the evening, so such behaviour was deeply disappointing and entirely out of place in a fine dining restaurant. What made it even worse is that this attitude showed a lack of respect not only towards me, but also towards the entire team, from the chef to the other staff members, who were all genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. Her behaviour undermined their efforts and the hard work that clearly went into trying to create an exceptional dining experience. Indeed, the manager or senior waiter handled the situation with professionalism, which I sincerely appreciated, but this incident ruined what could have been a wonderful night. Unfortunately, after reading other reviews reporting similar issues with certain waitresses, it seems this is not an isolated case. Oman does not deserve to be remembered like this. Everywhere else I’ve been, people have been genuinely kind and welcoming. It’s a real shame that such a fine establishment as Al Angham should be remembered for such behaviour, when it could so easily be remembered for its beauty, culture, and hospitality.

Great experience of authentic Omani food. As a foreigner it is best to ask for a sampling menu. They will let you try about 10 different dishes, which provides a great insight into Omani traditional cuisine. It wasn’t on the menu, but the waiter offered it to us as he realised we were struggling to choose from the menu.

We recently visited Angam Restaurant for dinner, and I must say the dining experience itself was absolutely superb. The ambience was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive in their service. On the surface, everything seemed perfect—until I went to use the washroom. Unfortunately, my experience there was extremely disappointing. The toilet seat was broken, and the toilet lock was not functioning properly. This is not only inconvenient but also unhygienic and uncomfortable for guests. A restaurant’s washroom is a direct reflection of its overall cleanliness standards, and no matter how much money you spend on beautiful interiors and décor, if your washrooms are neglected, it brings down the entire standard of the place. I spoke directly to Dinesh, who was acting manager that evening. He mentioned that he had already informed the MD (Angam) about the issue, but no action has been taken so far. This shows a lack of urgency and care in addressing basic facilities for customers. It’s important to understand that guests judge a restaurant not only by the taste of the food and the friendliness of the staff but also by the hygiene and maintenance of the entire establishment—washrooms included. A poorly maintained restroom can ruin what would otherwise be an outstanding dining experience. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and prioritises upgrading and maintaining their washrooms. A clean, functional, and pleasant restroom is a small detail that makes a huge difference in customer satisfaction. Until then, this will remain a big disappointment for an otherwise excellent

The food was amazing and the portions are huge - I would say that they are enough to make 3 hungry people happy. Also they bring the complements . I tried king fish in coconut sauce with safran rice and I really liked francensense ice-cream as a compliment - it was not sweet and it aided digestion! I Would definitely recommend this place to everyone

No matter what quality of food it is server, they had a bad attitude, and attitude is priceless. We cane today the 10th august to dine with family, which means kids as well. At the door someone stepped out and without even letting us in, refused to share the menu when we asked for it. It took several seconds before he mentioned that “kids are not accepted “!! Ok, maybe they accept pets who knows! In any way: my kids are priceless and no matter what the restaurant is, he doesn’t deserve us: the customers.

We were here for dinner. The place is nice, but the ventilation could be much better. The air inside is stale. The food is good; the steaks are very good, and the seafood is just okay because they overbake it. You can drink beer, also from a 2.5-liter "giraffe."

Very cool dive bar in Muscat. Was a little quiet when we arrived but livened up. Food is excellent, chateaubriand was fantastic and perfectly cooked. Great choice if you want a low key fun night. Gaurav served us and was great!

I had the pleasure of visiting Rock Bottom last Thursday, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was cozy yet lively, with just the right mix of music .A special shoutout goes to Idhayavarman,who truly elevated our visit. He was attentive without being intrusive, and offered excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly. We went there to board the ferry which takes us for dolphin watch and to do snorkeling. The place has a nice feel with a lot of boats and activities.

Good for boating and spending the day out with your loved one or family. Good for dolphin watching, lots of boats are available for a quick boat ride to the open Arabian sea.

There are several offices where you can book dolphin watching tours. The tour is typically two-hour long and offers refreshments. Average cost is around 10 OMR per adult. Free parking on site. Highly recommended activity.

Dolphin watching at Marina Bander Al Rowdha... Must watch place in oman... Unluckily we could spot only 2 dolphins today.. But the spots, scenary around was amazing. The whole 2 hours is worth spending. We went with Coral ocean tours agency. The yacht was very clean and hygiene..all safety measures were included..light refreshments also provided..The staff was very friendly and good.

A very beautiful place where you could have a yacht tour as there are some companies that would give the tours with fair prices. The sea tour would take you to see the dolphins and it will also take you to a calm place where you swim peacefully. You could also walk along the marina, only a small walk, and there are few restaurants. I recommend going to this place either early in the morning or during winter months. Never recommending this place in the summer, otherwise you will get severly hit by sun.

Have you seen live Dolphins ?? If not then dont wait, take tour from marina bandar al rowdha in Muscat. 2 hours into the sea and see dolphins swimming besides your boat. Amazing view of the Muscat city and nature. Enjoy.

Great place to start the sea tour along the coasts of Muscat. There are so many sea tour offices located near the parking area of Marina Bandar Al Rowdha which offers so many packages such as dolphin watching, sunset cruise, snorkeling, private yacht/ boat, Dhow cruise,fishing trip, coastal cruise, Island excursion and many more at a very reasonable pricing. Best place to spend quality time .Highly recommended.

The crowd is all right. They usually seem to play techno-type music all night. The bar is located somewhat underground, as you need to take the stairs to get down there from the outdoor free parking lot. They do have a few security/bouncers making sure everything is okay. The bathrooms were clean and unique. I wouldn't necessarily spend all night there - maybe it was the loud, consistent techno music for me, personally, but the drinks are also basic. They have "red & white" wine options on the menu without any more information than those two words. They have an outdoor smoking area. The service is all right - could be better. They constantly ask you to pay instead of waiting to just give one bill altogether. I would come back just to see if my experience would be different, but it's not necessarily a place I feel the urge to spend my nights at. Go with the right group and you'll have a good time!

Not much options in Veg except French fries. Other than spirits, it costs less than other similar star hotels. Price starts from 1.7 onwards.

Worst customer service in the whole of Oman I used to visit the pub occasionally. But almost everytime I found the staffs unprofessional unenthusiastic and least bothered. It's almost as if they don't want to do any business. You get from there expression that they don't want to work there, especially the Waitress. Made a mental note of never visiting again.

Too loud for someone like me who like the music to be good enough to be able to have a conversation. A bit high priced as well. For people who love the whole pub environment with loud music and making new friends this is a good hangout place.

Best place for Latin dance / Social dance / Salsa / Bachata / Kizomba dancing in muscat. every Saturday from 8pm. They have a New Mexican food combo offer with margarita for 2 for just 15 bucks. If you looking for a perfect Saturday night this is the place to be.

We went for the free flow Wednesday (basically snacks and drinks). Not very busy ( probably because it was midweek) but a very nice laid back ambience. Cool, fresh and modern decor with a backdrop of ambient/chill music. There is the option of sitting outside or inside. The outside seating area is pleasant with some nice views over Muscat. The food was very well presented and tasty. The service was impeccable and the waitress very attentive. Overall a very nice, chilled place. Excellent for a snack or a meal. Although we didn't have a main course, the menu looked inviting.

The place has changed the name, and it’s now called LiquidSky (Jan 2020). The place looks good but was pretty much empty when I came. However the food was good and the drinks too. Maybe they should hire someone to keep their social media and google maps up to date, making a better marketing of the place.

It’s a nice place, service is good, they provide good snakes with the beers, however there is no crowd place is usually empty, it’s good maybe if some goes for a date or a business conversation or something like that. Lost people who go there are who stay in the hotel. Hardly they have 25 tables.

It's smaller than I thought.. around 10 to 15 tables. Staff is nice but looks lost like new to the place. As of today July 5 2019 only 3 beers available due to recent taxes imposed. Tiger, Heineken and Amstel. Not bad not extraordinary either.

Great place to have dinner in winter. Best for couples or small groups of up to 6. The ambiance and service was really good. While the food was very delicious and plated well- the portions were small for the price paid. Dish of the day was the chicken skewers and the dragon roll maki. Recommended

Yesterday for the first time we had a very bad experience with Chedi normally it's one of the best whenever we have been there before. We visited for tea and sandwich and were seated by pool cabana area however we felt very racist behavior. We were waiting for our order even after 7 but others were given water and warm bread to begin with - nothing to us.. even our order came late and wasn't upto the mark as usually chedi food is great. The moroccan tea was not good at all and was served in French press.. Of the whole order only the fries were good. Please let me clarify none of the other guests were fasting. Also the place was practically empty and we were just enjoying the ambience but service came and cleared our plates with the final bill indirectly asking us to leave. Even when we had ordered sheesha from huqqa (outsourced) service; that also wasn't at par. Left us with an unusually bitter experience especially when we came with our family.

One of the longest pool I have ever seen.

While my overall evaluation of The Chedi hotel is 5 stars, this place, which they dare to call restaurant, is considerably below their standard. First of all, maybe due to the particular position nearby the long pool, everything (table, chairs, floor) was completely wet, and humidity was quite annoying. Food was not bad, but clients are obliged to eat it in an almost complete darkness, therefore I had to use my telephone light to see what I was eating. Furthermore, the tables are low, not suitable for serving a lunch or dinner but just useful if you put a drink on them. And they don't serve fingerfood but dishes to be eaten using fork and knife. I had to eat bent on my belly, in a very inconfondibile and vomit giving position. Prices, for such a torture, are simply crazy. Maybe my evaluation would have been less severe, if they had told me it was a wine bar and not a restaurant.

The Siddharta Lounge by Buddha bar is inside the W hotel located on the 6th floor. They serve a fusion cuisine between Western food and Asian. Some nights they have an all you can eat sushi promo, which is definitely worth checking out. The bao buns were heavenly and the dessert “dulce de leche brownie” was amazing!

Top experience. Lobster gioza and lobster roll are amazing. Great beachfront view, ambient music and quality service.

Well, if you are at W as a guess you will be surprise that you can wear shorts but not sandals. It is interesting that been a hotel by the beach does not allow that. Traveling for business, quite often you want to take a shower after doing some exercises and have a quick dinner… and go to bed; however, in this case you need to dress up, probably in this case, you might want to go to more friendly places. The staff can be a little rude enforcing the rule.

Came here for dinner and the experience was amazing. Was served by Ryad for the evening who made the experience exceptional. Would highly recommend the Crunchy Chicken Gochujang and the short ribs bao buns as starters and spicy Hotate, Dragon & Tuna sushi rolls.

Had a lovely dining experience with my family here on the rooftop restaurant/bar of the W hotel. I am sure the outside view during sunset is wonderful. There is also an infinity pool up there. The service could have been a bit more attentive especially when it's not during busy hours, as it does come off somewhat professional if we are waiting around longer than usual for some help when there are only a few other occupied tables in the establishment; however, the experience was overall good, regardless - it might have just been that night. The aesthetic is very modern and blue-looking. They don't have an abundance of menu options, but they have just enough for this type of place. We enjoyed our food and their lovely presentations. The prices are, of course, high, as expected. They have some events here at times, so just make sure to check on those beforehand. From what I recall, they are usually closed on Tuesdays.

Had an excellent experience at Zale now on two occasions. The first time only for drinks at the bar where I had some outstanding cocktails and the second occasion for some drinks and food. On both occasions the staff were excellent, being welcoming, friendly, attentive and also very knowledgeable on the drinks and food they're serving. In particular, Arinka was incredibly helpful, offering fantastic recommendations on the drinks and food, including their Sushi options which were delicious. She checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory and that I never had an empty drink! The music level was perfect on both occasions, inside and outside, allowing a nice ambiance and still able to talk. Highly recommend Zale for great food, amazing service and staff and an overall enjoyable drinking and dining experience.

Had breakfast buffet here, quite a decent amount of breakfast items for the promotion amount. Pool is also just next to the restaurant and nice to walk around after eating. Hotel interior is a bit old but location is good and accessible to many other attractions.

Great spot. I'm hoping to visit it again before I leave On 1st April.. It's also here you'll find Muttrah Souq. To be totally transparent, I didn't get to dine (though I wanted to) here but there are also restaurants to choose from. Do however be aware ;if your are commuting by public transport, there is a cut off time after which buses (Number 4) will no longer run from here, back to the next connection centre which is called Ruwi (I think the one I caught was around 6.45pm). I unwittingly left a restaurant I planned to dine in which worked to my benefit as I would otherwise have missed the last bus. Taxis are available but do bear in mind (as Muskat is a long city on the bank of the Gulf of Oman) they will understandably charge a premium depending on your destination.

I ordered a thin pancake-like dish for breakfast, but after waiting for 30 minutes, I was informed that they had forgotten about my order and hadn’t prepared it. Instead of apologizing, they simply stated that they had already closed and wouldn’t be making it anymore. I found their attitude quite disappointing.

Tired on 29 March 2025, Ramadan Buffet. We are Pakistanis and now the original taste. Overpriced! OMR 7.35/head Extremely disappointed, food wasn’t good enough. Not much items Iftar counter was filled mostly, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes , etc, (all as separate dish) Reshmi kabab were not fresh looked like reheated from the fridge. Malai boti also similar wasn’t fresh at all. No mutton/lamb item except the ribs. Meat was tender but the lamb smell was strong. Biryani was average, Chicken Karahi was way too spicy. Beef nihari was above average. I don’t recommend at all, there are plenty of other restaurants have better food and ambiance. We are never going there again.

We visited the place for dinner. The ambiance is good. There was a buffet option. We preferred to order. Their bread is fresh and tasty. The corn soup with the additional sauces was awesome. Very disappointing experience. They do not have quantities available. Salad finished. For Bar b q we have to wait long time and it came in very less quantity. Then fish is also not available. Assorted bread is not available. They brought the bread when we are done with the food. Not value of money. Very highly overpriced and nothing is served. Whatever we ask they told its finish. How can you charge us full amount of buffet when you are not serving the complete menu with a slow service. I would not recommend anyone to go there low quality food.

Dont go there…. No Air Conditioner at all. I have visited last year and now two times but there Air Conditioners were not working. It’s a nice sports bar with cold beers. But the service from all the staff is as warm as the July nights. Especially Sachin, he is a professional, making negronis as good as can be found in Milan. The food is great too. The chef Zin is a bloody legend always eager to please the customers with any request they may have. I thoroughly recommend!

Went there last night and had a blast. We were the first to get in and it was awesome. Even if the terrasse wasn't open (FYI we're in winter), the food was excellent. After a long journey of travel coming from Sydney, that place was really good.

Fresh fish and seafood, you can chose from fresh fish which one you prefer. We really enjoyed our lunch here. Recommending.

We went Thursday night to Bombay club Security was very high and very and very stupid and he was about to fight with us he coursed me and my friend he didn’t let us to go inside we were customers for very long time and spent a lot of money but Thursday night security guard on the door treated us very very bad. Don’t go there anymore Never ever over go to Bombay club I am not lying at all security is terrible he must get fired from this position otherwise this business will get collapsed with this security man is on the entrance gate

This is a worst place to visit infact a nightmare. I have visited this place a few times when I didn’t get a chance to buy my own stuff. The security here are very disrespectful specially the bald short guy he thinks he is guarding a queens palace very rude don’t have basic etiquettes. 100% not recommended. Also most of the times there are fights and overall a no go zone. I haven’t visited in ages now but I know it’s a pathetic place. Hence if you think it’s cheap in prices but trust me it’s overall a shady place to visit.

Found this to be an average place with very few drinking options. Not really happy with the munching options and the security is very strict not to let people inside with laptop bags or backpacks. Als, no photography allowed inside. Overall, a quiet place to get a drink with very cheap prices.

Service was not good for everything you have to follow up , Atmosphere was not good it's seems like a streets of Bangkok , food was not good. ( Nothing is complimentary not even a water with drinks for 500 ml water they charge 1 riyal , even they have table charges half riyal per person , whiskey starts from 2.7 r.o. Seems cheap but after paying extra charges for water and everything it's almost equal to other bars having good services .

Doesnt have the same fascinating views as the qurum branch, but the staff here is way more friendly. Great place to chill with your friends, smoke, maybe grab a bite. Definitely recommend!

It is very nice restaurant and the cuisines have an authentic taste. Sitting area is good especially for watching a football game, and the most important thing is the outdoor space which can be used for Shisha. It is located in a good place near by the airport.

Not bad location although close to The Wave and airport... Service is acceptable. Usually you have to call the waiters more than one time to answer you... The shisha is great but they usually forget to change the charcoal

Disappointing Experience at Cohibar I’m writing this review to share the unpleasant experience we had during our visit to Cohibar. It was our first time at this hotel and bar, and unfortunately, it left us with a bad impression due to the way an incident was handled by their security staff. During our visit, a man approached me and asked if I was “free tonight,” which was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. When I informed my husband, he approached the security staff to address the issue. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, the security guard started shouting—at me as a woman and at my husband—escalating the situation unnecessarily and causing a scene. The focus should have been on dealing with the man who initiated the inappropriate behavior, but instead, we were subjected to poor treatment and unprofessional conduct. It was shocking and deeply disappointing to witness such behavior from the security staff, who are supposed to maintain order and ensure guests feel safe. Cohibar management, I strongly urge you to provide your security personnel with proper training on how to handle such incidents. They need to learn how to approach situations professionally, de-escalate conflicts, and maintain a respectful demeanor toward all guests. To allow such inappropriate behavior in your establishment while treating concerned guests poorly is unacceptable. We did not expect this from a hotel of your standard. Please take action to improve your staff’s behavior and ensure no other guests have to go through a similar experience.

It is one of the worst bar not worth of expensive entrance fees, 80% are men and music are not relative to the atmosphere and food and drinks are limites and smell not good and many places are reserved but no one setting on them

Definitely a "you know what you are getting" type of place. A "good time" hole in the wall neighborhood place with great music and cheap drinks. Very very unassuming. Ladies come with friends (never alone).

An unusual place and out of the way from most populated places. It only serves cans and bottles of beer and it's not cheap, but the staff ate very friendly and helpful. A great place to go if you are in Oman and in need of some alcohol. It is out of the way but you can walk there along roads and then a dust/sand track.

Tickerdaze is a nice place before your flight. Has lots of electric plugs to charge phone or laptop. Reception was excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive. They have lots of food diversity but mainly western menu. Iots if drink diversity. Warning: knives and forks are not sharp due to airport security regulations so avoid steaks or so.

In an area where it's pretty impossible to get a drink, we found this pub. It's done out well in an English pub style and the barman was really friendly. There was no price list and maybe we should have asked but we enjoyed our drinks regardless. It cost £32 for 2 pints of beer and 2 very small glasses of white wine from a 5l box.

We go to this pub every year when we are in Oman. Love the fast service, tasty food and good beer here. Open until 3am. Shahid, that was the name of the waiter who served our table, was very attentive and helpful. I recommend this pub to everyone.

The place is really old needs renovation, second down side is that the police station is next to the hotel you have to be extra careful while driving. However drinks are cheap good place to mingle and chat with friends play pool, and they have 2 types of beer you won’t get every where like red horse, an Egyptian beer. They have good shisha.

I ordered by delivery. The food came neat & well packed. I like the chicken spring rolls but quantity is not enough. While the hakka noodles, big in serving but I’m not so into it.

Food is bad. I ordered from Talabat, the pictures in the menue is misleading. The rotis were burnt and torn, could taste how stale the chicken was and sea food was like rubber. Food is really bad, not advisable.

Hands down best Karahi in town. Charsee Karahee is a must and then butt karahi is awesome too. Roghni naan is also good. Its not a fancy restaurant but who cares about aesthetics when the food is this good.

As for the drinks: their Negroni is outstanding and became my go-to, though the martini and espresso martini also deserve a shoutout. Impressively, the quality holds up with room service cocktails too – a rare feat. The food menu complements the drinks perfectly; the wagyu beef sliders were a highlight. A few things to note: dress smartly (there is a dress code), and Bonvoy members get a nice discount – a great added bonus. Whether you’re staying at the W or just looking for one of Muscat’s top cocktail experiences, The Living Room is well worth a visit.

Good place, this is the only proper bar in Muscat - trust me. Since it was opened in 2019 and up until now there is no better bar in terms of cocktails. Buddha bar upstairs in same W is also good, but that one more like a lounge. Totally recommended and thanks you for surviving in this difficult market.

Surprisingly nice. Despite several negative reviews we decided to check it out anyway. The food was really good (and fast). Nice laid back ambience with lounge music playing in the background. The traffic can be a bit loud but it didn't bother me.

Do not go to this place. The prices on the menu are not what you are charged. I ordered a chicken tikka main meal which was priced on the menu at 6 rial. The price charged was 7.8 rial. I questioned this and was told that the extra charge was for grilling it. The pizza came in at 5 rial but was charged at over 5.5. The half chicken came in at 6 rial but was charged at over 6.6. The waiter explained that the beer had no extra charge, and I presume that was because they hadn't grilled it. An awful place who are not up front with their charges. Please avoid. This is not the fault of the waiter, but the fault of the management, who, I assume, set the menus. I have never seen anything so ridiculous in my life and will never visit the place again. I hope that the restaurant responds to this review and can see the error in their ways. Shame on you Sama Terrazza. Zero out of 10 points. Its a huge place that they can do better. For example they can play with lights or they can use bigger speaker, I could not hear music although I was in the middle of dance stage, also the glasses they used for bear was more likely a wine glass , However the vibes was nice , the fact that its on the roof was so exciting and also there was a pool that no one use, But they can make this place much better . I did not try food , I am not sure there is a restaurant , I saw the bar that closes at 3 am which is good time , accessibility is easy and there is parking also , because this place is on top of a hotel, actually thats why I was expecting better from them.
