One of the finest architecture in world. Majestic and beautiful. This place exudes omani grandeur and is a mixture of Islamic architectures all over world. Women need to cover head and dress appropriately to cover the whole body. Men should avoid shorts. Non muslims can enter only 8 AM to 11 AM except Friday. Take atleast 1.5 hours in hand to explore the palace and garden. Main done is behind the small done. Make sure to have a water bottle as lots of things to be explored. By 11:30 guards start preparing the place for namaz prayer. It looks excellent in night from outside. Muslims can enter any time for prayer

Beautiful mosque. Built between 1994 and 2001 on a previously free land from the will of the sultan in order to give to Muscat the right place to pray between tradition and modernity. The outside is big with fountains, plants and flowers. Then there is the mosque, outside is magnificent and beautiful to admire with his Carrara's marble (always cleaned and polished), towers and structures. The inside is beautiful too with a chandelier of 8 tons and a beautiful Iranian carpet. A different with other mosque I saw is that here is not possibile to sit and some area of the mosque are fenced. It's possible to roam outside though the halls that are really nice through the morning light (inside, the mosque is open only from 8 to 11). The entrance is free, and the clothes must be respectful.

The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is a marvel of architecture and a place of serenity. A massive sandstone, marble, and glass structure, the outer area boasts vast gardens filled with flowers in the midst of Muscat, acting as an oasis. Tourists can visit the mosque during the stipulated timings. The public uses the outer area to walk or relax. Its shady trees and date palms offer a peaceful place to sit, looking at the tall minarets. It truly gives a sense of peace when you walk inside, seeing the huge chandeliers and symmetric structures. A must-visit when you are in Muscat.
Sangeetha P — Google review
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the largest in the country and one of the most beautiful, extravagant modern mosques in the world. The mosque, which was inaugurated on May 4, 2001, blends Islamic, Omani, and Persian architectural styles. It is notable for its large scale, impressive design, and the use of diverse materials from around the world, symbolizing unity and equality. The mosque is square in shape which surrounds the central dome with a total height of 50 meters. The 5 minarets define the limits of the site representing the 5 pillars of Islam. The central 14 mtr tall chandelier adorned with over 600000 crystals was once the world's largest, though it has since been surpassed. The complex has a capacity for up to 20,000 worshippers. The prayer hall is important to see the handcrafted details of the mosque, truly amazing. The grand mosque is surrounded by beautiful and well maintained gardens. Must visit Iconic Architectural wonder in Muscat, Oman !!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at The Chedi — it was so peaceful that we never even felt the need to leave the resort! The grounds are beautifully spacious, and even though the hotel appeared to be fully booked, it never felt crowded. There was always plenty of space at all three pools and restaurants, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Pandiyan, who took such great care of us by the pool with thoughtful touches like refreshing fruit skewers, and to Mirat, who made our breakfasts delightful and my birthday dinner at the beach restaurant truly memorable. Their genuine warmth and attention made our stay exceptional.

The entire team was exceptionally friendly and attentive - from the servers to the cleaning staff, everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. A special mention to Pandiyan, who took such great care of us by the pool. He served our food and drinks with genuine warmth and a constant smile. His thoughtful and professional service made our time by the pool truly relaxing and enjoyable.

We had a few small issues at check-in, but the manager resolved everything quickly within the first 24 hours, and from then on our stay was absolutely perfect. The food at the main restaurant was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff there were consistently attentive and welcoming, which made every meal a real pleasure. But the absolute highlight of our experience was Pandiyan at the Serai Pool. He went far beyond what we could have expected – always attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. His care and attention made us feel so well looked after, and he was a big part of why our stay was so memorable.

We had an incredible stay at the Chedi. The design and landscaping at this hotel are timeless and I can see us returning for many years to come. The brunch was excellent value, but in general I would say the F&B prices are very high for the quality. A special shout out to the amazing staff who were honestly faultless - particularly Pandiyan at the beach who really went above and beyond to make us feel special.

Went for a pool day with a daily pass and loved it! The pool is stunning, with direct beach access. They also have a sauna, steam room, and a fully equipped gym. Everything else is great, just the food could use some improvement. Overall, a really nice spot to relax for the day.

As the founder of UEvents Global, we requested to host a lunch at the beach restaurant for our 120-guest wedding in Oman. We worked closely with Mr. Deepak Sharma and Mr. Mohammad Khaleel from the F&B team, and throughout the entire process we were genuinely amazed by their professionalism, support, service, and warm personalities. They accommodated every request with complete flexibility, and the food and hospitality for the post-wedding brunch were outstanding. My experience with Mr. Deepak, in particular, was exceptional — he is one of the most genuine gentlemen I have met in my 20-year career. This was a true learning lesson for anyone in the service industry: when people care, it shows. We felt genuinely valued and incredibly well taken care of.

Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, is a luxurious establishment located on the edge of Muscat. Originally built as the palace of Sultan Qaboos, it offers grand amenities such as multiple restaurants, pools, and a spa. The hotel's opulent features include stunning swim-up rooms, palm gardens with hammocks, and a Six Senses spa offering 24-carat gold facials.
We truly loved the resort — not only for its beautiful and classy ambiance, but also for the impeccable service that made us feel genuinely valued. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with a level of care and attention that reflects true VIP hospitality. Every corner of the property radiates elegance and refinement. The staff were professional, attentive, and consistently gracious. A special word of thanks goes to Ms. Maria, the resort manager, whose leadership and personal touch elevated the entire experience. She ensured that every detail was handled seamlessly and that we felt cared for throughout our stay. This resort has earned our loyalty. It offers the perfect balance of luxury, warmth, and high-standard service — a place we will gladly return to and recommend with full confidence.

The stay was amazing. The place was very quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The booking included free access to the family beach, pool, a small kids water park, and also a ladies beach. Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of food from different regions to suit all tastes. There are also small convenience shops on-site, which was very handy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. I really appreciated the welcoming gesture of coffee and dates upon arrival. The only downside is that the hotel is located about 30 minutes away from the center of Muscat, so taxi rides can be a bit pricey.
Zainab A — Google review
I booked the resort day pass for 20 OMR, which includes 10 OMR credit to use at the Blu Bar. The staff were very cooperative, and the experience was excellent! You get unlimited water and towels, plus full access to all the pools and the private beach, basically everything outdoors. There are also showers and changing rooms (no lockers though). I had a really relaxing day, definitely worth it!
Sain — Google review
The location of this hotel in the bay is simply breathtaking – the views of the sea are stunning, and the beach is perfect for snorkeling. The Deluxe Rooms with sea view are attractive, but it is clear that some of them are older and show signs of wear. It would be worthwhile for management to consider investing in refurbishing these rooms to enhance the guest experience. The service is courteous and helpful, although it lacks a personal touch that would make a stay truly memorable. The food is good, yet not quite at the level of a Ritz Carlton. The pool area is inviting, and the staff are very attentive and accommodating. A crucial aspect that could set this hotel apart in the long term is its environmental responsibility. The hotel’s private reef is a unique and valuable asset. Protecting it from destructive fishing practices, such as trawling with nets, would not only preserve the natural beauty and marine life but also establish the hotel as a leader in eco-tourism. By actively promoting sustainable practices and safeguarding the marine ecosystem, the hotel could create a distinctive identity among the region’s five-star properties and provide a truly responsible and forward-thinking experience for guests. Developing eco-tourism initiatives here would offer enormous potential: from guided snorkeling tours that respect the reef, to educational programs about marine conservation. Such measures would ensure that the pristine environment remains intact for future visitors and provide a meaningful, sustainable experience that aligns with global trends in responsible travel. It would be a real loss if the reef and marine life were compromised, as this is one of the hotel’s greatest natural advantages.
Andreas A — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at Al Bustan Palace Hotel. The atmosphere is truly elegant and relaxing, and the hotel offers an exceptional combination of luxury and comfort. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. Their attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with a stunning view. The service was fast and efficient, and everything was organized perfectly. The restaurant was another highlight — the food was delicious, fresh, and offered great variety. The breakfast buffet had many options to choose from, and the dining experience was excellent thanks to the attentive staff and pleasant ambiance. I highly recommend Al Bustan Palace Hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality stay and outstanding hospitality. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.
Ali H — Google review
Rooms are pretty small for the price tag' and the walls are very thin from room to the hallways. Over all a decent hotel good breakfast its just not worth the price tag. Also this is good to keep in mind at any hotel in Oman if you ask the concierge to get you a can it will be 3 times what it should be as the taxi system is designed to absolutely rip of tourist. Always us the taxi app and walk off property of you have to it will save you between 25 and 75 usd per ride.

Everything in the hotel lobby is lovely. It would be great to have more staff available to serve the café visitors. By the way, the baked cheesecake is absolutely delicious! The staff member was good, but she didn’t notice that there were no tissues on the table. Also, the restroom cleanliness could use a bit more attention.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Muscat, was absolutely exceptional. The hotel itself is stunning, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding service we received from Mr. Can Gezen. We had a wonderful visit to Mutrah Corniche, now even more delightful with the new musical fountain that adds charm for evenings. It’s an ideal hangout spot for families and kids, offering scenic sea views, artful walkways, and soothing music that enhances the atmosphere. The well-maintained promenade is perfect for strolling, relaxing, and enjoying the coastal breeze. Just a heads-up: parking can be quite difficult during weekend rush hours, so visiting by taxi or earlier in the day is a good idea. Overall, a lovely family-friendly destination with views and entertainment for all ages.

Mutrah Corniche is a must-visit area in Muscat — a beautiful and peaceful waterfront promenade that perfectly captures the charm of the city. Lined with traditional buildings, cafes, and views of the harbor, it’s a great place for a relaxing walk, especially in the evening when the lights reflect on the water. The highlight of the Corniche is the stunning view of the Sultan’s royal yacht, often anchored nearby, adding a touch of royal elegance to the scenery. Mutrah Souq, also known as Al Dhalam Souq, is a traditional marketplace in Muscat that offers a wide array of Omani souvenirs, handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, spices and more. This historic bazaar features narrow alleys lined with shops selling various items and retains the charm of a traditional Arab market. Visitors can explore rows of timber stalls offering Indian and Omani artifacts as well as antique goods at jewelry and textile stores.
A vibrant and authentic market experience that offers a glimpse into Oman’s cultural and commercial heritage. Highly recommended for visitors seeking traditional charm. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Traditional atmosphere: The souq preserves the feel of old Arabian markets, with narrow alleys, wooden ceilings, and the scent of frankincense in the air. • Gold and handicrafts: A great place to explore Omani jewelry, handmade crafts, textiles, and souvenirs. • Local dining: Several restaurants and cafés nearby offer a chance to enjoy Omani and regional dishes. • Scenic location: Just steps away from the Corniche and the sea, making it easy to combine shopping with a relaxing waterfront stroll. • Cultural immersion: Ideal for travelers who want to experience local life, interact with shopkeepers, and discover unique items.

A must visit spots for tourists. Most shops are so friendly. Good prices. Quality items. Can even found roman & gladiator's iron helmet here. Its an airconditioned souq. Great place to hide from hot sunny weather outside.
Bard P — Google review
That’s crazy old. Feels like I am at 1940. There are Indians trading everywhere. And Foreigners who are buying. Old fashioned shop. Clean only where is trading, if you come beyond the market it’s so dirty and dark. It’s safe, no worries at all. For experience it’s nice. Prices are highly overpriced and goods are there over-old and not fresh. Maybe some shops are genuine, you may bargain and get things really cheap. Very boring place. Cafes there don’t have any customer service. However it’s a heritage and it’s somehow beautiful and entertaining. There is gold market. Fancy and excited.
Kozlova O — Google review
The souq is one of Oman’s oldest and most vibrant markets, offering a captivating journey through the nation’s rich trading heritage. Overlooking the harbor, it dates back several centuries to a time when Muscat was a major port linking Arabia with India, Persia, and Africa. Locally known as “Souq Al Dhalam,” or “The Dark Market,” its narrow, winding lanes are shaded by wooden roofs and filled with the enchanting scents of frankincense, myrrh, spices, and oud. Inside, more than 800 shops sell a colorful mix of Omani silver jewelry, khanjars, handcrafted textiles, pottery, and perfumes, blending old traditions with modern touches. Originally built with palm leaves and mud walls, the souq has been carefully restored to preserve its authentic character while remaining a lively hub for both locals and visitors. Friendly vendors welcome you to browse and bargain, and as the day fades, the soft evening lights make it even more charming.
Abdulkarim A — Google review
Absolutely loved visiting Mutrah Souq! It’s a beautiful blend of tradition, culture, and color. The narrow lanes, friendly shopkeepers, and the mix of scents from frankincense, spices, and perfumes make it such a unique experience. You can find everything here — from traditional Omani souvenirs and jewelry to clothes and local handicrafts. The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, and it really captures the spirit of old Muscat. A must-visit spot for anyone coming to Oman!
Zee — Google review
The place looked beautiful with all the lights during the night time, but the only issue we faced was parking… it was hard to find a spot on the weekend. However, if you go a bit further, there’s a large parking area near the musical fountain.

🛍️ Mutrah Souq The Beating Heart of Old Muscat Mutrah Souq is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and charm truly the soul of Muscat. Walking through its narrow lanes filled with the scent of frankincense, spices, and oud feels like stepping back in time. Every corner tells a story from the glittering displays of traditional silver jewelry and colorful lamps to the stalls overflowing with handcrafted souvenirs and textiles. The friendly shopkeepers, the warm ambiance, and the gentle hum of bargaining add to the Souq’s old-world allure. It’s a place where tradition and modern life meet beautifully. A visit to Muscat wouldn’t be complete without experiencing the magic of Mutrah Souq where every turn is a new discovery and every scent, a memory. ✨

Visited Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest traditional markets in Oman, dating back over a century. This historic marketplace has been a major trading hub for goods like spices, perfumes, textiles, and gold, reflecting Oman’s rich maritime past. I really enjoyed exploring the narrow lanes filled with the aroma of frankincense and traditional Omani charm. Many of the shopkeepers are Malayalees, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Picked up some beautiful souvenirs from here

Al Alam Palace, located in the heart of Muscat, Oman, is a landmark ceremonial residence that showcases a unique and flamboyant contemporary Islamic design. Built in 1972, it features bright blue and gold trumpet-shaped columns and vibrant tile work that defy traditional palace architecture. Although not open to the public, visitors can admire its colorful facade from the iron gates at the front.
A visually striking and culturally significant landmark in Muscat. Its location makes it a perfect starting point for exploring nearby historical and cultural sites. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Unique architecture: The palace features a bold and colorful design that stands out among traditional Omani structures. • Prime location: Situated near key attractions like Al Mirani Fort and the National Museum, allowing visitors to enjoy multiple highlights in one visit. • Well-maintained surroundings: The area is clean, landscaped, and ideal for walking and photography. • Symbolic importance: As one of the official residences of His Majesty the Sultan, it holds national and ceremonial significance.

Muscat’s most iconic landmark, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and traditional Omani architecture, it offers a perfect backdrop for photos. Though visitors cannot enter inside, the view from outside is truly worth it. The area is clean, peaceful, and gives a royal feel!
Shahufa S — Google review
Al Alam Palace is one of the main official residences of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and stands as an important symbol of Oman’s governance and history. The original structure was built over 200 years ago by Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, and the current palace was rebuilt in 1972. The building features a distinctive blue and gold facade and is framed by the historic Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali, dating back to the 16th century. Together, they form a setting that reflects both Muscat’s defensive past and its modern architectural identity. Although the palace is not open to visitors, the public area in front of it offers a clear view and is well maintained. The walkway leading to the gates is clean and organized, making it a pleasant short visit, especially for those interested in Omani history and culture. A brief stop here provides a good sense of the country’s royal heritage and the surrounding Old Muscat area.

Al Alam Palace is must visit place in Muscat. No entry inside the palace allowed but view from the outside is great too. This place represents the traditional architecture, surrounded by greenery and hills. I enjoyed walking near the palace despite it was hot afternoon.

Al Alam Palace is also a must-visit attraction in Muscat. Though visitors are not allowed inside the palace grounds, the exterior itself is stunning and offers excellent photo opportunities. The palace, with its striking blue and gold façade, is one of the six royal residences of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The surrounding area is beautifully maintained, with clean walkways and impressive architecture all around. I visited at night as well — the palace looked magnificent under the lights, creating a truly royal and peaceful atmosphere.
Laiju L — Google review
We visited Al Alam Palace in Muscat, and while we didn’t get to go inside, the exterior was still an impressive sight. Built in the 1970s, Al Alam Palace serves as the ceremonial palace of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Oman’s current ruler. The palace stands as a symbol of Oman's heritage, with its stunning blend of traditional Islamic and modern architectural styles. The blue and gold accents on the façade are especially striking and contrast beautifully with the surrounding natural landscape, including the rugged hills and tranquil water nearby. The palace is located in a picturesque area, right next to the Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts, which add to its historic significance. The surrounding gardens and the views of the coastline make it an ideal spot for photos and a peaceful visit, but unfortunately, access to the interior is restricted. While you can’t go inside, it’s still worth stopping by to admire the architecture and learn a bit about Oman's history and royal heritage. The palace has long been a symbol of Oman’s modernization and continued stability, and while we could only view it from the outside, it’s clear why it holds such importance. The National Museum of Oman is located just opposite to the main entrance.

A Must Visit Gem in Muscat! Al Alam Palace is absolutely beautiful; a perfect blend of royal elegance and vibrant Omani architecture. The palace grounds are spotless and well-maintained, with colorful gardens and stunning views. Even though visitors can’t go inside, it’s a great spot for photos and a must-see when exploring the city. Truly a symbol of Oman’s royal heritage! 🇴🇲✨

Perched atop a hill in Muscat's old quarter, Mutrah Fort offers a glimpse into the strategic significance of the area. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, it played a crucial role in defending against Ottoman attacks. The fort provides a historical tour inside and boasts panoramic views of Mutrah Corniche from its vantage point.
A very nice fortress with quite a nice view. You will need to climb some stairs and pay a small entrance fee. Inside the fortress there are chairs and tables as well as a cafeteria where you can get a coffee or a soft drink to cool off. I recommend!

This historic fort is very old and reflects the rich heritage of the country. Visitors need to climb stairs to explore it, but it’s worth the effort. The inside of the fort is fascinating, and the view from the top is truly stunning.
KY A — Google review
Easy to get to, not massive so a quick tour is all you need. Great views and a dinky little coffee shop near the top. Nice experience overall. It's really about the view, not much to do within the fort itself, maybe most of that has been locked off?
Naveed S — Google review
It’s a peaceful and photogenic spot, perfect for a quick visit while exploring Old Muscat. The souk is nearby.. in the fort they don’t allow water bottles which was disappointing.. the fort is best during sunsent time..
Rudrakshi S — Google review
This fort is basically Oman’s way of saying, “We’ve got walls, and we know how to use them.” Climb up and you get a killer view of the harbor and corniche—perfect for pretending you’re starring in a historical epic. The walls are old, the stones are impressive, and the history whispers (or maybe shouts) at you from every corner. Pro tip: wear comfy shoes unless you enjoy feeling like a medieval mountain goat.

The Kempinksi Muscat is an amazing place. Rooms are big and with Younes we had a great roomservice! In general the Service is amazing and leaves no space for open wishes. Food in all restaurants we tried (The Kitchen, Sou Soi and Zale - with it’s amazing view) are really excellent. Same as the service at the pool. Really nothing to complain about but a lot to thank for. That was definitely not our last stay herr.

Location is great on the beach but have to travel south for many of the attractions. Staff is amazing and attentive and the Spa is great with really good offers! The gym is first class - large and fully equipped. Breakfast buffet is amazing and with all sorts of foods.

Bait Al Zubair Museum, also known as the House of Al Zubair, is a cultural museum in Muscat, Oman. It was originally a private home and has been open to the public since 1998. The museum features a wide range of Omani relics including weapons, costumes, traditional wear, handicrafts, and artwork. Visitors can explore exhibitions on war history and maritime history while also enjoying displays of old cannons and jewelry.
It was one of the owned houses of Sheikh Ali Zubair back in 1914 it was a gathering place of elites. Now this house has been built in a private museum owned by Zubair Corporation. There is an entry ticket as well. It has different portions. If you are history lover or culture explorer. Don’t forget to give it a visit if you are in Muscat.

This museum definitely was the most attractive place I visited during my journey in Oman. If you wanna know about the Omani culture and principles don’t hesitate to visit this place. The staff are very welcome and also knowledgeable and you can feel free to ask them anything about the museum.
Ali — Google review
I was here today and spent a couple of hours in the somewhat sprawling complex. I found the Omani artefact displays interesting and I really appreciated the English placards explaining the history of men and women dress, frankincense, jewellery and other ethnographic aspects. The art in one gallery wasn’t to my taste (especially the AI “art” ugh and sadly only one floor of a three story art gallery was open. So I dinked a star for that bc I shouldn’t have to pay full admission fee - a whopping 9 euros!- with closed exhibits. That said, the model village outside is adorable and the old photos and prints of Muscat from a century and older are fascinating. The restaurant and café on site are a bit expensive. But staff was overall lovely, and I’m grateful they let me leave a bag at the front desk. I’d still recommend this place to get a good sense of Omani cultures and history.

Bait Al Zubair Museum is a masterpiece for those who wish to understand the history and culture of Oman. We had the pleasure to discover this outstanding museum with the amazing tour guide called Hassan. He is so passionate on delivering all what is related to Omani history & culture in an easy & interesting way. All the members of the group like his explanation. We were able to have a closer look at jewellery, Khanjars, Omani traditional clothes & stamps. We had the chance to see Gallery Sarah, which is new section at this museum. We appreciate the warm welcoming at the museum & delivering the beauty of Oman in an amazing way. Tickets are needed to enter the museum - you can get from the reception there.

The Muscat Gate Museum is a historical treasure located within the fortified gate of Muscat's old city wall. Built in 1995, this modern structure houses a museum that offers a rich collection of exhibits on Omani history, architecture, and development. Visitors can explore archaeological texts, ancient paintings depicting the historical and prehistoric ages of Oman, as well as modern-day artworks showcasing the country's evolution from Sultan Qabawi to the late nineties.
A beautiful tiny museum and a great place to beat the heat (the AC does a great job). There is a curator working to answer any questions who speaks perfect English. The posters on the wall have plenty of information regarding Muscats history. At the top of the tower are 2 parks, one is very tiny and the other much bigger. You can sit in the shade and relax for awhile. There is water closet on the top floor open to the public. I spent about 20 minutes and enjoyed the history lesson a d the vool temps.

Today 21 Sep 2025, it close but you can free to enjoy the view from the gate.
Joe A — Google review
This gate marks the western entrance to the old city. Historic accounts mention in 1624 the building of an earthen land wall was started. Previously the city was mainly protected by two forts at the sea side that was most vulnerable to attack by Ottomans and Portuguese. The latter after having established their power in Muscat were challenged by Omani tribes living in the interior (landside). in 1650 the Portuguese were ousted. What started as an earthen wall was upgraded through the ages. The gate structure houses a museum on the upper floor. We could not enter as the venue was closed. The views from the Gate were good. We returned a couple of hours later and the facility was still closed.

It was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The sound of the ocean was soothing the soul as well as watching people enjoying themselves on the beach by playing football. The scenery was indescribable beautiful and I was taken a back of the beauty. This is a beautiful stretch of sand, extending for about 5km. When we visited there in the evening were no loungers or umbrellas, nothing on the beach at all to help you relax. It was a lovely stroll and very picturesque as well as being shallow so you could stand up 50m out into the water. There are number of eateries and cafes along the beach and even shopping centers. The Qurum beach is located in an up market place of Muscat where most of the 5 star hotels are housed along the waterfront. Really beautiful evening place to stroll. But be careful to dress modesty.

The National Museum of Oman, established in 2016, is a must-visit destination for those interested in the history and culture of Oman. It boasts an extensive collection that tells the comprehensive story of the nation through tens of thousands of artifacts. From pre-Modern Islamic architecture to its role in the region and East Africa during colonial times, as well as its modern economic resurgence since 1970, this museum offers a deep dive into Oman's rich heritage.

Each section takes you on a journey through different parts of Oman’s rich history—from ancient civilizations to modern developments—offering a well-curated glimpse into the country’s heritage, culture, and achievements. What stood out to me most was the thoughtful and engaging layout of the exhibits. Artifacts, visuals, and multimedia elements are displayed in a way that’s easy to follow, yet informative and captivating. It felt immersive without being overwhelming. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their friendliness added to the overall positive atmosphere of the museum. It was also a nice surprise to have access to free internet throughout the visit, which made it convenient to look up more information or share the experience in real time. Another great feature is that photography is allowed, which meant I could capture and keep memories of some of my favorite displays. The fort was impressive and holds a rich historical background. However, be prepared for a lot of stairs if you’re not in good shape, this might be challenging. Also, watch your step, as the pathways can be uneven and there’s a risk of slipping. That said, the staff at the fort are helpful and can assist in case of any emergency. As a local, I recommend visiting this place if you have some extra time and money. Beyond its history, the fort offers a stunning 360-degree view of Old Muscat, Al Alam Palace, and the sea, it’s truly worth it.

Great historical site with fantastic views over the sea and Old Muscat. The fort is well preserved and you can walk inside to explore its old structure and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Staff were helpful and informative. It’s not very large, so the visit doesn’t take long, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re in the area. A solid cultural stop—just wish there was a bit more signage or detailed info inside.

A small yet charming historical fort offering stunning views and easy access to nearby landmarks. A great option for those staying within Muscat. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Scenic views: Overlooks the sea, mountains, and the Royal Palace, making it a visually rich and memorable stop. • Compact and accessible: Unlike larger forts outside the city, Al Mirani is easy to reach and explore without a long drive. • Nearby attractions: Located close to the National Museum and the Royal Palace, allowing visitors to enjoy multiple cultural sites in one trip. • Parking availability: Convenient parking makes the visit smooth and hassle-free. --- ❌ Considerations: • Limited size: Being a smaller fort, it may not offer extensive exploration compared to larger historical sites.

The entry fee is 4 OMR a bit high, but the fort is really well organized and worth a visit. You’ll need about 40 minutes to explore the whole place. There’s also a nice coffee shop on top with marvelous views. perfect spot to relax and take it all in!

It has nice view of Arabian sea, sultan palace and other fort, however there is nothing to see inside the fort. You can finish the fort in 10 min and entry charges are 11 riyal. It is too expensive.

Al Mirani castle is situated near Al Alam Royal palace, Muscat. It was built in the 1580s by the Portuguese to defend Muscat's coastline. The place is known for Architectural Marvels and its thick walls and watchtowers. Good parking space. Make a visit for an enchanting view of the Palace, sea with mountains !!!

The views are great. The elevators make it easy as well for people with reduced mobility. The 5.5 omr ticket per adult resident is too much. (The 5y old went free). Best timing 1h before sunset to get all the different settings. You dont need more than 1h up there unless there is an event. There was a nice breeze

Shangri-La Al Husn, Muscat is an exclusive beachfront resort nestled in the Bay of Barr Al Jissah against a stunning mountainous backdrop. The resort offers luxurious accommodations with spacious rooms and suites inspired by royal Arabian palaces and adorned with authentic Omani artworks. With four restaurants, a spa, and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, guests can indulge in relaxation and luxury.
I want to say a big thank you to the front desk team for their excellent service. Everyone was very professional and truly outstanding. They explained all the hotel facilities and its history with such warmth and energy. The Sultanah team took equally good care of us during all our meals (both breakfast and afternoon tea). They paid attention to every little detail and made us feel special throughout our stay. One of the best parts was when the Chef came to personally welcome us and explain the breakfast menu. We loved all the food both times. Everything from how beautifully the dishes were presented to how delicious they tasted was perfect. The fried fish was honestly the best I've ever had. It wasn't just breakfast - it was a special experience we looked forward to every morning. I also really appreciated the free cultural tour with Khalid. He shared us so much about Oman's history and culture, as well as the hotel's background. He was extremely kind and made the tour very enjoyable. What makes this hotel special is that every department works together to provide amazing service. The staff don't just do their jobs - they make real connections with guests and create memories that last long after you leave.

Rooms are big and impeccably clean. Mini bar is always full and replenished daily; you can drink and eat everything in the mini bar. The room we got has an excellent view of the sea. There's so many restaurants to choose from, as there are three main properties located next to each other. Food is excellent, including the breakfast spread. There's really nothing to complain about, in my opinion.

It was the perfect getaway to unwind and take a break from work. Shangri-La will always hold a special place in my heart for providing the comfort and relaxation I truly needed. A big thanks to Anne for being very approachable and flexible with all my requests from prior my arrival and throughout my stay. Her attentiveness made my experience seamless and enjoyable. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Mostafa, whom I met during check-out and checked my entire experience. He listened carefully to my feedback and took immediate action which I truly value. Thank you once again for the warm hospitality as always.

Hotel is nice and scenic. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Overall all service is certainly below the average for similar luxury hotels more specifically in the F&B. We were group of 10 people and tried multiple restaurants. Although we always go with bookings and pre agreed set menus yet the starter takes about 45 minutes to be served. Our experience in the sea food restaurant was not good in terms of delay yet at the Italian restaurant it was extremely horrible where some of us left before they get their main course (we had to wait more than 2 hours for the main course). We tried to speak to the Italian restaurant manager but he did not bother answering us.

This was our second visit to Al Husn and once again the experience was exceptional. Special thanks to Mostafa (General Manager) for his leadership and hospitality, Anne at the front desk for her professionalism, and Said for his consistently excellent service by the pool. Also a big thank-you to Hardik, Pankaj, and Manu from the pool and dining areas – all of them went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The resort remains our favourite in Oman for its beautiful setting, calm atmosphere, and the genuine warmth of the team. We can’t wait to return.

The facilities and service here are incredible. We didn’t want to leave the place! Probably the best service we have ever received from a hotel anywhere in the world. Staff are incredible. We will definitely be returning to Oman to come back here. We loved it so much. Love from Australia!

Hello, I was invited by a friend in this hotel. It was amazing, room very clean and breakfast too. We took the option Afternoon Tea at 25 OMR but we didn’t like. It’s a little ridiculous this afternoon tea because you get just some around 4 little fingers food not really luxury. I can make by myself some of them. The view is beautiful but don’t take tea time. The stay was perfect except this afternoon tea. Thanks you

Al Jalali Fort, also known as Ash Sharqiya Fort, is a historic sea fort in Muscat, Oman. Built by the Portuguese in the 1500s, it served as a jail and refuge for Omani royals. Today, it has been transformed into a heritage private museum. History and archaeology enthusiasts will appreciate its rich past during the Portuguese occupation. The fort is just 20 km from the city center and is one of the must-visit places in Muscat.
Al Jalali Fort, perched atop a rocky hill overlooking the Gulf of Oman, is a stunning historic landmark in Old Muscat. Its strategic location offers breathtaking views of the harbor, the surrounding mountains, and the city’s iconic whitewashed buildings. The fort, built in the 16th century by the Portuguese, stands as a testament to Oman’s rich history and its importance in maritime trade. One of the unique aspects of Al Jalali Fort is its inaccessibility by land—visitors can only approach it by sea. While the interior is not always open to the public, the exterior architecture, with its thick stone walls and watchtowers, provides a glimpse into the fort’s defensive past. The area around the fort is well-preserved, with beautiful pathways and nearby attractions like Al Mirani Fort and the Sultan’s Palace adding to the historic charm. An evening walk around Old Muscat, especially near Al Jalali Fort, offers a mesmerizing experience as the fort and nearby landmarks light up, creating a magical ambiance. A visit to this iconic fort is highly recommended for history enthusiasts and anyone looking to explore Oman’s cultural heritage.

The massive Al Jalali Fort, a fortress also known as Ash Sharqiya located in Muscat, Oman. It was used as a prison for most of the 20th century, and now a private museum for dignitaries only. Public access is restricted. Al Jalali Fort is one of a pair of forts, along with Al Mirani Fort, that were built to protect the harbor. It's beautiful architectural piece and being located on the harbour, the fort offers a stunning view of the entire city of Muscat. The attraction for tourists are the magnificent exterior view and the surrounding area's historical charm !!!

Bait Al Baranda Museum is a must-visit cultural-history museum in Muscat, offering insights into the country's rich heritage. The museum features maritime history exhibitions, ancient artifacts, traditional wear, and handicraft works. Visitors can explore exhibits on the Portuguese occupation of Oman and learn about Muscat from the 1st century to 1744 AD. The museum also provides information on Oman during the Portuguese occupation and the Frankincense trade.
This is one of the historical and cultural sites in Muscat, known also as the House of Naseeb. He was the merchant Naseeb Bin Mohammed who built the house in the late nineteenth century. “Al Barandah” is the local pronunciation of the foreign word “veranda”, which means “balcony”. The House was named after the balcony that extends along the length of the façade on the first floor. The museum recounts the history of Muscat since its geological formation to the present day, using interactive technology that displays pictures of tectonic plate movement over the past 750 million years until today, showing the activity that formed the continents in the past and how they will change over the next 250 million years. The museum also includes documentation of the Sultanate of Oman’s history since its inception to the present day.

I hope the management takes tourists attraction places seriously, it is not your own to close it ore open it anytime you wish

Burj Al Sahwa stands proudly in the heart of Muscat, serving as a striking clock tower adorned with vibrant mosaics. This iconic landmark, built in 1985, symbolizes the Omani Renaissance and reflects the nation's commitment to modernization. Nestled within a bustling traffic circle and surrounded by lush lawns, it marks the gateway to the city and holds significant cultural importance.
Burj AlSahwa is well known land mark in muscat, it’s built with new Oman by sultan Qaboos

Visited Burj Al Sahwa during my Oman trip and stayed for a couple of days at my friend’s apartment nearby. The roundabout is a key landmark in Seeb with its beautiful clock tower and landscaped surroundings. It’s well-connected, making it easy to reach major parts of Muscat. The area is also set to become a major transport hub. A great spot to pass by, especially in the evenings when it’s nicely lit.
Shabeer H — Google review
Burj Al Sahwa Bus Station is without a doubt one of the most important transport hubs in Muscat — a central connection point linking long-distance routes across Oman with city destinations. Its location near the main highway and airport makes it strategically vital for both residents and travellers. However, the reality doesn’t match its importance. The station facilities feel outdated, signage can be confusing for new visitors, and there’s often a lack of clear information about bus timings and routes. Waiting areas could also use more comfort and cleanliness, especially given how many passengers rely on this terminal every day. With a little more organisation, better maintenance, and attention to passenger experience, Burj Al Sahwa could easily become the modern, efficient hub that Oman’s growing public transport system deserves.
Action C — Google review
I recently visited the Burj Shawa Roundabout, and I have to say, it’s one of the most visually appealing landmarks in the area. The roundabout is beautifully designed with a modern architectural touch that makes it stand out, especially in the evening when the lights highlight its features. The surroundings are well-maintained, and it’s clear that a lot of thought went into both the aesthetic and landscaping. Whether you’re passing by or stopping to admire it, Burj Shawa Roundabout adds a unique charm to the city and is definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby. It’s not just a traffic point – it’s a photo-worthy spot that reflects the city’s development and attention to beauty in public spaces.

Burj Al Sahwa Bus Station is undoubtedly one of Muscat’s most important transportation hubs, serving as a key connection point between long-distance routes across Oman and various city destinations. Its location near the main highway and airport makes it extremely convenient for both residents and travelers. However, the overall condition of the station doesn’t quite reflect its importance. The facilities appear outdated, and the signage can be confusing for first-time visitors. There’s often limited or unclear information about bus schedules and routes, which can make navigation difficult. The waiting areas could also be more comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, considering the large number of passengers who use this terminal daily. With improved organization, better maintenance, and a stronger focus on passenger experience, Burj Al Sahwa has great potential to become a modern and efficient transport hub worthy of Oman’s expanding public transport system.

Although currently closed to visitors, the fort's surroundings provide ample opportunities for stunning photos, especially during sunset. Nearby attractions such as Muttrah Souq offer an excellent shopping experience with great bargains. Additionally, there is a charming café inside the fort where you can enjoy refreshing beverages while taking in the mesmerizing scenery.
Nice place not much to see and with a big entrance fee normally for what I got to see should be free of charges. Inside a kiosk -coffee shop , with a philipino running it , and the prices in the cafe where accordingly expensive. Of course if you’re there the first time, and you make the long way to visit mudras, you will pay to visit for the view and to make some pictures.. but not a second time at all Omanis pays less than tourists

A beautiful large park which has a small lake, beautiful walking paths, numerous benches and picnic tables under the shade, a small amphitheater, and a spectacular man-made waterfall. Entrance is free and it's a great place to walk, sit under a shady tree and have a picnic, watch the kids play on one of several free playgrounds, or go to the back of the park to walk around the lake or see the waterfall. There are several water closets in the park, clean and well maintained. There is also a fancy restaurant near the main entrance. A great place for walking, or bring the family to play and relax in the shade. If you're in this part of Muscat and you like parks, I would certainly recommend this one.

There were some collations of adventures to enjoy the peacefulness and get rid of some worries. We can take children to enjoy the places with them. There is a lot of fun and we can go on a picnic there. Just imagine we can rent a cycle/electric bike to around there. There is one pond also there. We can go walk around the pond. Took 6km it's my calculations. May took more. We can enjoy it peacefully and we can leave memories there. ✨💕There little bit of neatness is needed.

The Natural History Museum in Oman is a part of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture complex, showcasing the country's diverse flora and fauna. Stuffed animals they've used are really good. There's another room contains remainings of whales. You can even listen to different sounds make by whales. I recommend you to bring your kids to this place, it'll boost the knowledge of your kid. Ticket price is 1 riyal if you are an adult. And parking is free.

This place is a place which each country should have. We have visited it with our small children. We did made reservation in advance. Small ones and big can learn so much at this place. Is very well made. Interactive part makes it so much interesting and enjoyable ,then just reading facts. The entry is free.

You can learn about the process of oil and gas extraction from very beginning. There is a lot of experiments you can try also. I can imagine it could be fun for kids. Anyway its dead silence in museum which makes really strange atmosphere and overall look of exhibits is quite old school. But it was good experience.

Riyam Censer, also known as the giant incense burner, is a remarkable monument located on a hill overlooking Mutrah corniche in Muscat. Built to commemorate the 20th national day of Oman, this structure resembles a massive cup and looks enchanting when illuminated at night. It is situated along a popular hiking trail that connects Muscat with Mutrah. Visitors can climb up to the monument and enjoy the beautifully landscaped park at its base.
I visited Riyam Censer in December 2024, and it was an incredible experience! This iconic monument, shaped like a traditional Omani incense burner, is a symbol of Muscat's rich heritage. Located in Riyam Park, it offers stunning views of the sea, the city, and the surrounding hills. The area is perfect for a peaceful walk or a relaxing picnic with family. The censer itself is beautifully lit at night, adding to its charm. It's a must-visit spot for anyone exploring Muscat. Highly recommended for its cultural significance and breathtaking views!

Though the entry is restricted to go near the censer, you can see it from Riyam park. It symbolises frankincense fragrance which is very famous in Oman. The monument looks very beautiful.
Ravindra V — Google review
The structure, resembling a giant traditional incense burner, is perched on a hill, making it a notable feature of the city’s skyline. Up close, its intricate geometric patterns and detailed inscriptions are truly mesmerizing. Reaching the censer involves a pleasant hike through Riyam Park. The trail is well-maintained and not too challenging, making it suitable for most visitors. Once at the top, you’re rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gulf of Oman, Muscat's skyline, and the rugged surrounding mountains. The panoramic vistas are perfect for photography and truly highlight the natural beauty of the region.

Ruwi Clock Tower, located opposite Muscat's Chamber of Commerce, is a modern landmark that symbolizes the Sultanate's dedication to modernization and beauty. The tower overlooks a pleasant park, offering a serene setting for visitors to relax and enjoy. While the park may not be as well-maintained as in previous years, it still provides a quaint atmosphere for leisurely strolls or picnics.
Beautiful place with gardens and the iconic clock tower. I've lots of memories associated with this place since more than 25 years! Good place to spend sometime having an evening walk or just chilling on the grass. It isn't as well maintained as it used to be before, with the fountains not working any more and the lights switched off in most places. But still forms a nice quaint place to go to and relax.

It is indeed a very huge park with a huge play area, it is best for long walks and cardio. The rental bikes need to be bit more organized as they don’t accept card payment, only cash and keeps yelling at people. One of the largest public parks in muscat. There is plenty of parking with 3 main gates of the park. Pros: You can jog, exercise, have a picnic, and roam around with family. There is horse riding available for kids and electric cars for little kids as well in the central part of the park. There is a kids' play area with plenty of swings and a small area for roller skating as well. There is a coffee shop in the middle of the park as well and outside the park there are restaurants, coffee shops and a bus stop as well. Taxis are easily available outside. The four square mazes are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Cons: 1. Take mosquito repellent, or you will spend most of the time scratching after sunset. 2. Kids' play area is crowded on the weekends. 3. The tomb like structure at the center of the park was open a while ago, but unfortunately, it has been closed now by the management.

Riyam Park حديقة ريام is a serene destination that offers stunning views of mountains, water, and blooming flowers. It features playgrounds and expansive lawns for leisurely strolls. A trek to the mountains separating Darsait from the Port area provides breathtaking sunset views of Port Sultan Qaboos, Muttrah Corniche, and the impressive Riyam Park along with the giant Frankincense Burner.
A very nice medium sized park. There are picnic tables under the shade and playgrounds for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful with great views of the Bay of Oman and the Tower on the hill. The paths are clean and very well maintained. There is a coffee shop and restaurant but they were closed on a weekday. There are large parking lots in the front and back of the park with taxis always standing by. There was once a pond and a small amusement park, but the pond is now drained and they're tearing down the amusement park. There are multiple Water Closets open. A very nice place to take a walk, or let the kids play, picnic, or just sit in a shady spot and relax.

Marina Bandar Al Rowdha is the perfect starting point for an exciting dolphin watching experience along Muscat's vibrant coast. The area is known for its healthy corals and diverse marine life, including spinner, bottlenose, and common dolphins. From May to October, lucky visitors might even spot whale sharks, false killer whales, humpback whales, orcas, and Arabian and blue whales.
This is the place to go for early morning Dolphin ferry ride. This is an amazing experience that anyone visiting Oman should go to. Children will enjoy it a lot too. Even though you are on a speed boat it's very safe. The entire ride and experience takes a couple of hours. The boat is even equipped with a restroom and they serve water. The harbour also has restaurants. Highly recommended.

A very beautiful place where you could have a yacht tour as there are some companies that would give the tours with fair prices. The sea tour would take you to see the dolphins and it will also take you to a calm place where you swim peacefully. You could also walk along the marina, only a small walk, and there are few restaurants. I recommend going to this place either early in the morning or during winter months. Never recommending this place in the summer, otherwise you will get severly hit by sun.

The C38 Mutrah to Riyam Park Hike is a popular trail in Muscat, offering nature lovers a well-marked route with picturesque views of the city and the sea. The two-hour hike starts at Riyam Park and takes you through rocky terrain, providing bird's-eye views of the port and fortresses. From October to April, hikers can enjoy the beauty of the mountains adorned with grasses and shrubs.
Easy to locate the spot. Carry small water bottles, glucose or energy drinks so that you don’t hydrate. Pls wear sturdy hiking shoes or shoes with firm grip, because at times waking on the rocks might make you slip. Once you reach on the top, you can have beautiful view of the beach.

Sharifa A — Google review
One moderate hike with picturesque views of the muscat city and the sea. The mountains are so beautiful, specially at this winter time with grasses and shrubs.there are some steep climbing at the start of the hike, yet once you pass that, it’s more or less w moderate hike towards the valleys and simple climbs. And the path is clearly marked. For us it took 53 minutes to complete the total hike, if you are a new hiker or stop to take photos, it may take 1-1.5 hours the max. After the hike is complete take the corniche road to walk with a view to the start of the hike.
Sangeetha P — Google review
Mildly challenging and rocky hike with incredible views. The trail blazes are painted on rocks throughout the hike; however, the blazes aren't differentiated between the various trails with different end points, so it's easy to veer off from your intended trail and feel like you're still on the right course. Pay close attention when you see the view of Mutrah, as the trail does not go to the right or the left, but forward up the hill towards a blaze above you. Leave plenty of time to get back before dark because it's easy to miss a turn or get turned around! Free parking, restaurants, and a park near the trailhead.
Cal F — Google review
One of the most adorable easy hikes in Muscat. I always recommend it to beginners who are still new to hiking, tourists who want to maximize their entertainment experiences in Muttrah , and to anyone wants to go for a leisure & quite walk with a bit of challenge. You will love when you go to the top from C38 stone steps as you start to see the beauty of the ocean beside Riyams' huge incense burner towers, ships and old Ryiam's town. The trail as many options to start & finish hiking. There are some trails where you can find old remnant of houses and non dry small wadies. There are also unknown paths that is closed at the end but has very nice views. It is an always a good weekend plan, most of the directions wont take from you more than 1 hour or even less. It is worth to mention that it is better to wear light hiking shoes for your safety due to some moving sands and rocks. Signs are all around the trail so it is easy to follow

Also no lights during night, if lights are fixed so it can attracts visitors during night for night view.

It’s a magnificent view. The entrance is a bit worn away and there is an unfortunate amount of litter from people having barbecues & picnics. I hope this will be cleaned up & people visiting will take care of their litter. There are sufficient trash cans around the area.

Nestled along the picturesque bay, Marina Restaurant offers diners breathtaking views that stretch all the way to the British Ambassador's residence. This charming eatery is known for its delightful seafood, particularly its fresh fish dishes that leave a lasting impression. While the menu may appear unassuming—almost like a hastily taken photocopy—the culinary experience is anything but ordinary. Guests can also enjoy amenities like a swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect for those warm evenings.
I order bread and fried shrimp , so great
Rebecca L — Google review
I expected a lot better. One of the waiters seemed least interested in serving or being of any service at all. Grilled prawns was nice. So was the calamari and the soup. But they didn't offer any salad or any dips, and the only bread available was the usual qubs. No options of hommous, etc. And I didn't feel it's as cheap as the other reviewers said it was. Prawns at RO 8 per kg and Calamari at RO 7 per kg with such basic amenities are not cheap by any standards. The soup at RO 1 was the only item that could be called value for money.
Nikhil J — Google review
Marina restaurant located near Azaiba Al maha petrol station. We tried fried shrimps, Calamari and seafood soup. Fried shrimps and Calamari was too overloaded with spices because of that you can feel more taste of spices only. It was over fried as well. Seafood taste was average. Bread was really amazing. Need to work on flavour other than that everything was fine.

Fish was great. You have to trie. Ordering is unforgetable experience. Menu looks like wery bad photocoppy of neyghbors restaurant menu taken in a hurry on bad phone camera. This is the way how to lower your marketing expenses. You have to see on your own eyes. I think thay have menu just to make you feel you can choose and they will brning what they have at the time. 😂 Annyway the fish was great!
Matěj R — Google review
I saw in reviews many had great experience dining here, but for me, not so pleasant. I chose seafood casserole in the menu & they said it's available. Next they showed me a big fish & shrimps in the display. I thought they're just showing me the ingredients for my order casserole. After some time that tested my patience, they served me those fish & shrimps they showed me, all grilled (to my big surprise) with two sticks of diced squid. I'm a little disappointed but the food was already on the table so I ate the dinner. The fish was okay, the shrimps tasted odd & the squids were bland. The white rice & free vege salad were great. I went out really full. I got sick later in the night & I think it's the shrimps. Wish I had my original order or simply got a hot seafood soup instead. Hope they will cook what the customers ordered & not what is easier to prepare.

Fresh flowers at it’s finest! VERY Reasonable price.. 1 piece of rose is the same with all the flowershops in Oman. You will get what you paid for. Extravagant arrangement with good budget YES! A must be.. if a low budget bouquet is not an issue but I think mostly people expect MORE than what they PAY which is a wrong attitude. And will tell everyone bad comments about the shop itself. - try before saying something don’t just judge without proof. 😊

I'm very disappointed with the treatment of the staff is very rode, with an attitude, I came to the shop asking the staff about the price of making my vase looks beautiful with my own flowers he ask for 10 OR, I just told him it's a bit expensive for designing the vase with my own flowers, He answered me back ( do you know how much is our salary) I told him your salary is not my business, and I will make sure sure to tell the owner. Instead of apologizing to me he said (OK go ahead). Very unprofessional unfortunately. Will never come back, and I will make sure this post will go around all the people I know telling them not to visit your shop.

Always say they have the best burgers in town and they still do the best juicy burgers. However, noticed the new Korean menu and was disappointed big time. Tried 2 dishes the noddle and the corn dog and nothing Korean about it. Noddles tasted like the instant noodles etc. hope the management look again into the ingredients used for the Korean menu as prices does not reflect the quality of food served.

The place reminds me of the local food joins in the country side. The place is located in the mall. it can accommodate small numbers of people. The place offers burgers, dessert and coffee. It took them sometime to get the food it was good. The service could be better as the waiter refused to give us extra catchup and said that ‘’I think this is enough’’ kinda mess up the good vibe. Overall worth a visit if you craving burgers
Saad A — Google review
Nice little burger joint, good smashed burgers, salty fries. I also ordered the hot dog and it was not bad. Have not tried their gelato or sweet menu (those waffles look promising) so maybe a revisit is in order. All in all it was great value, prices are very competitive.
Toufic T — Google review
I was hungry, so flavor wise this review should be somewhat fair. Smashed burgers are definitely all the rage now, and I'm definitely part of the riot. I ordered the classic burger. The bun of the burger is decent, the sauce is nothing really special, but the patty was well done (Both literally and figuratively speaking). The dessert was a REAL disappointment! I ordered the 1/2 Caramel Butterscotch Cake which tasted EXTREMELY bland. Nothing about it screamed dessert, which is unfortunate considering how appetizing it actually looked. I think this is one of those restaurants where I can just say: "I tried it.", and that's about it. Please bear in mind that the menu offers a lot more, so there might be something there that would help plaster a higher rating.
M. N — Google review
Honestly it’s by far my worse experience in any burger joint in muscat. Burgers are dry and the source is tasteless and surely it’s not a scotch beef Crisby Chicken burger is like thin and overcooked Grilled chicken with too much source Chicken wings is …. I don’t know even how to explain it from how bad The hotdog is more like alkabeer quality (yes, you could get better in any small canteen) Fries are more like a bought from Al Meera and then sold to client Drinks are bad ready made stuff And to add an insult to the injury, the dessert! Over 3 rials for the smallest and tasteless cookie! I think they have one source they use all over for drinks and dessert. Total waste of food and money. Wish if I didn’t think of trying it
Badar A — Google review
The set up of the place is good, comfortable seating, the staff are friendly. The burger wasn’t bad, my sons we ordered plan but they still added sauce so he only ate the outer portion with less sauce. The fries not bad but really just the kind you buy at a super market with all the competitors in same market suggest to up your fries game, mozzarella sticks where pretty good, did like all the options of hot sauce.

In Muscat, taxis are a convenient mode of transportation within the city. While they offer on-time service, their prices tend to be relatively high. It's important to note that finding a taxi outside the city can be challenging. Additionally, airport taxis typically have higher fares compared to regular taxis in Muscat.

Hiking area
Wady AlKhuwair Walking Trail offers a pleasant way to reach the Great View if you're in the Mutrah area. Starting from Mutrah Souq, you can head towards the Corniche and follow the waterfront promenade. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes, allowing you to enjoy scenic views of the sea and mountains along the way.
(Translated by Google) I've already walked the asphalted path from the British Embassy three times, which probably has lights in the evenings (there are lanterns), and never saw anyone, not even the gardeners who water the plants there 😁 nice short path, small parts are even in the shade, depending on the situation Time of day...
