Had three meals at this restaurant breakfast lunch and dinner in the same day. Simply the best food I’ve had in 10 years of international travel. The food was an interesting mix of flavors and colors the food tasted better than it looked and it looked amazing if you’re ever in Muscat this is a must see must do must eat. The food was absolutely outstanding.The variety of dishes offered catered to diverse tastes and ensured a fulfilling Iftar meal. The traditional Ramadan beverages were also refreshing and added to the authentic experience. Beyond the excellent food, the service was truly exceptional. Enjoyed their breakfast and dinner buffet for two weeks. They have many options for multiple nationalities but I missed traditional Pakistani taste.

The stay was amazing. The place was very quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The booking included free access to the family beach, pool, a small kids water park, and also a ladies beach. Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of food from different regions to suit all tastes. There are also small convenience shops on-site, which was very handy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. I really appreciated the welcoming gesture of coffee and dates upon arrival. The only downside is that the hotel is located about 30 minutes away from the center of Muscat, so taxi rides can be a bit pricey.

I booked the resort day pass for 20 OMR, which includes 10 OMR credit to use at the Blu Bar. The staff were very cooperative, and the experience was excellent! You get unlimited water and towels, plus full access to all the pools and the private beach, basically everything outdoors. There are also showers and changing rooms (no lockers though). I had a really relaxing day, definitely worth it!

The service is courteous and helpful, although it lacks a personal touch that would make a stay truly memorable. The food is good, yet not quite at the level of a Ritz Carlton. The pool area is inviting, and the staff are very attentive and accommodating. A crucial aspect that could set this hotel apart in the long term is its environmental responsibility. The hotel’s private reef is a unique and valuable asset. Protecting it from destructive fishing practices, such as trawling with nets, would not only preserve the natural beauty and marine life but also establish the hotel as a leader in eco-tourism. By actively promoting sustainable practices and safeguarding the marine ecosystem, the hotel could create a distinctive identity among the region’s five-star properties and provide a truly responsible and forward-thinking experience for guests. Developing eco-tourism initiatives here would offer enormous potential: from guided snorkeling tours that respect the reef, to educational programs about marine conservation. Such measures would ensure that the pristine environment remains intact for future visitors and provide a meaningful, sustainable experience that aligns with global trends in responsible travel. It would be a real loss if the reef and marine life were compromised, as this is one of the hotel’s greatest natural advantages.

Secondly, the staff were so kind, helpful, friendly... not enough can be said from the breakfast staff, in particular the manager, Ali, to the reception. Saif was also very helpful, patient and accommodating as all the staff were. Would definitely recommend and will visit again for sure.

Now, to the primary reason behind my visit to MO. While there is no shortage of high-end five-star properties in town, I was specifically in search of a particular New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc I had been craving for some time. And there it was — Craggy Range — a delightful surprise that set the tone for the evening. We sampled nearly all the snacks from the cocktail menu and finally settled on the classic Margherita pizza, which certainly did not disappoint. It was a thoroughly pleasant evening, and we left feeling happy and content. I will definitely be returning in the coming months to explore your other outlets. Words cannot describe how spectacular this Italian restaurant is. My family and I always come here to celebrate special occasions because it’s a place worth celebrating in. The Pacceri, the pear salad and the pizza are all incredible to have. The Rosemary drink takes it all for me. Amid our visit to Essenza, our food surprisingly took long to arrive, but the manager decided to give us free desserts to redeem the mistake, which was a nice touch. The waiters are all so lovely, the service is amiable and pleasant. I will always recommend this place.

A lovely Italian restaurant located at the Mondrian Oriental. The bar upstairs is fantastic, with a skilled and friendly barman. The food is authentic and delicious—we tried the pizza, which was excellent, though we regret not exploring their extensive secondi menu. The ravioli was outstanding, generously infused with truffle, and truly a highlight. The overall experience was fantastic, with super pleasant staff who went above and beyond. We even had the chance to chat with the chef, whose dishes were absolutely spot-on. A truly memorable Italian dining experience!

Start with a cocktail at sunset in the bar upstairs, and then descend into a beautiful dining room. The restaurant was full, but we didn’t feel crowded, and the service was attentive without being intrusive - we didn’t have to wait for anything. The tomahawk is worth a trip - an exuberant dish if it’s just you but as part of a sharing dish table with friends it’s exceptional to get a taste of something so good. The red mullet is also worthy of mention, the mussel sauce elevating it to something really special. I was lucky to be someone else’s guest; a memorable evening.

Service was very slow and the staff seemed unprofessional — they didn’t ask for drinks and didn’t seem to know the menu. I asked for seafood pasta and was told it wasn’t available but I saw it on the menu. When the food arrived, the table wasn’t cleared, and the octopus was cold and frozen while the calamari was chewy and rubbery. I ended up canceling the rest of my order. It was my birthday, and I came from far just to try this place, but sadly the experience ruined the occasion.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive — a special thank you to Kathleen, Younus, Carl, and many others who made our stay so memorable. Also the gardeners were so friendly to us! The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail in every corner. The food was exceptional — every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Truly, no wishes were left unfulfilled. We felt completely cared for and relaxed throughout our stay. We are looking forward to come back to Oman and this Hotel!

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Muscat. Hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. For a 5 star hotel the rooms were a bit bland. Location is great on the beach but have to travel south for many of the attractions. Staff is amazing and attentive and the Spa is great with really good offers! The gym is first class - large and fully equipped. Breakfast buffet is amazing and with all sorts of foods.

Recently returned from a 10 night stay at this fabulous hotel. Everything was perfect, the hotel itself, rooms, pool, beach, food was wonderful. However, it is the staff who make a hotel & all staff at this hotel were fantastic. EVERY member of staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, interested in us & always remembered us & our preferences. We spent at lot of time at Zale so particular mention & thanks to all staff there. Again we spent a lot of time at the pool so a huge thank you to all pool staff. Great service from all staff. Azim was our room attendant. Brilliant Dorai and Abbas on the beach were always there to set up sun beds and bring us water. Onder, the chef , cooked fantastic food. Don't expect to go home hungry !! Aung, Jay and all the waiters and waitresses were so friendly. Finally a huge thank to Jamie Zhang, front desk manager who made us so welcome on our return to Kempinski Al Mouj. I cannot fault this hotel. Possibly one of the friendliest and best in the world.

Amazing stay at Kempinski Muscat ! Amit in the Kitchen restaurant led by example along with Mr Ali, Aishwariya and Chandri. Schola and Jaz were also very attentive. Amit is their standout colleague though and was always at hand for advice and making us feel at home. Thank you Amit and team ! Food amazing at all outlets (chef Sanjeev ensuring the best food quality food and helped accommodate special requests) , kids pool had great shade for the kids. Large well maintained property. The room service team, especially Younus and Jaju, were amazing — they made sure our room was perfectly prepared every day and even surprised our son with creative towel designs each evening. The staff at this hotel were kind and the location is convenient, but unfortunately the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. From the moment we entered, there was a heavy musty smell and an overwhelming sense of dampness. The air felt humid, unhealthy, and it was impossible to ignore. For anyone with asthma or respiratory sensitivities, this environment is simply unsafe. Mold was not only noticeable in the smell, but visibly present around the air vents and in the bathroom. The shower tiles and corners showed clear black mold, which made the space feel unhygienic and poorly maintained. Even after the staff kindly moved us to another room, the same issues persisted. The mold and dampness seemed to be a problem throughout the building. This is incredibly disappointing because the hotel has potential: good service, good location. But without a serious renovation and proper deep cleaning, the guest experience will continue to suffer. Until these health and safety concerns are resolved, I cannot recommend this hotel. Travelers deserve a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay, and sadly, this was not it.

Great location! Everything is nearby, with direct access to Grand Mall and Oman Avenues Mall just a short walk away. Lots of food options around too. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are very friendly and professional.

We ordered several times from WET Deck, tried the room service, and the portions were unbelievable — great value and taste. Good ice cream, chicken wings, nachos and calamari. They also have infinity pool with specific opening hours. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast options, especially for families staying for a longer period. The hotel is also conveniently located near the beach and other great restaurants. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Amazing team and an unforgettable experience! ❤️

What a pristine experience our stay at the St. Regis was! We stayed for 11 nights, and how I wish we could’ve stayed longer! This was my 2nd part of my Muscat trip and I must say, The St. Regis really did not disappoint, the second I arrived Munia ensured that I was well looked after with a smooth and quick check-in followed by a welcoming tour of the hotel ensuring I knew where everything was. Another special part of this stay was the butler service, where I would like to thank Ilhan for going above and beyond, from ironing services to restaurant reservations, he also provided me with interesting facts about The St. Regis and shared a passion and love for the hotel. And lastly, I would like to thank Ahmed in Karibu, who made sure my cup was never empty of Karak at breakfast haha!

Amazing stay there! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, always making sure you have everything you need. Lots of restaurants and cafés / bars available in the hotel. Very nice swimming pool and beach front with amazing service (fresh water, towels), great and very Well equipped gym, and amazing facilities. Rooms are really beautiful, especially with sea view. Breakfast is truly amazing too!

Just had the most amazing stay here. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were exceptional and a special mention must go to the Club Lounge team - Alya, Dawood, Marina, Chef Salwa, Melisa and Ana. They looked after us so well. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Also Chef Sunny who prepared meals that were coeliac safe for my son. He went over and above. Can’t wait to come back.

A home away from home! Going to the Palm Club feels like visiting friends. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. I’ve been a member for over 20 years, and I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful experience throughout. The gym is fantastic — well-equipped, clean, and comfortable — and the pool is a proper, swimmable long pool, with a leisure pool on the side for relaxing. The jacuzzi and sauna are great too! Special thanks to Faizal, who is always motivating and supportive — a true ambassador for the club. Every visit feels like spending time with family while getting a great workout. I absolutely love being part of the Palm Club community!

We spent a night and a day at this lovely hotel. Service was really polite and helpful and available. We arrived early and managed to check in at noon instead of 3pm. Also our flight was late on the next day and we were allowed to stay around the whole day, using the pool and facility. Location is convenient next to the beach and several restaurant outside the hotel (less expensive), however the hotel next door (W?) played very loud music at night and also next day in the afternoon, not great. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was very vast and the complimentory washing products of high quality. Fantastic breakfast too! Just one advise: even if this place is international and tolerate both western and traditional local clothing, I wished that someone said something to this horrible western man wearing an obsene "Pattaya - Living the dream" T-shirt with semi naked girls on it, clearly claiming that he went to Thailand to sleep with very young girls: very shocking for everyone, no matter where you're from.

I liked the first Impression & Ambiance Welcome experience, lobby atmosphere, design with community tables, soundproof booths, the coffee at the entrance, overall vibe. After a long journey, we arrived at the reception by Amna, and she gived us an excellent debriefing about the timing and helped us with the process to receive the room pass in less than 5 minutes." I loved also the Room Cleanliness, comfort of the Sheraton Sleep Experience bed , room layout, quality of amenities (like Gilchrist & Soames toiletries ), by the way I want to thank our housekeeper Mr Sudish and his manager who took care of us during our stay. The quality of food/drinks is top 10, Mr Rohit served us with love and passion. The only thing that I didn't like is that some guests they swim with their own clothes ( not a burkini ) and not using a swimming dress, and to be honest it's not acceptable. This is not hygiene at all. I hope that the Sheraton's management implement a dressing code for the swimming pool. But in general the amenities & Services Pool/fitness center quality is good. The area where the hotel is very quiet, and the hotel is children friendly. The staff where very nice to children and you feel like you get a unique personal experience. Fantastic hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. Our room was huge with everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Muscat. The swimming pool outside had plenty of shade with comfortable beds. The fitness rooms were well equipped and there is a separate gym for ladies only which is also good. We didn’t eat there so can’t review the food.

I am a platinum Elite Member and basically living at hotels all year. Dhafer from the breakfast has been the worse person I met in 2025, not in hotel but in life. I have zero words to describe this place, but the essence is its not a good hotel and old and the management doesn’t care, its cheap because no one wants to stay there, so better stay at a much smaller cleaner nicer hotel than this weird place

Went to Woodlands for dinner last night and ordered the grilled prawns and chicken tikka with masala kulcha. We had to wait about ten minutes to get a table—which already spoke volumes about the restaurant’s popularity. They have an extensive menu featuring both North Indian and Chettinad cuisines, with plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The staff, including the manager, were warm and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. The food was nice too. I only tried the grills this time, but I’m definitely going back to explore their main course next time. The stuffed masala kulcha was a standout—so flavorful and satisfying! Food: Must-Try: The Appam was the highlight of the meal—perfectly cooked and a standout among the offerings. Could Skip: The Karaikudi Kozhi Curry was disappointing. It was overly spicy, and the chicken pieces, served on the bone, may not suit everyone’s preference. Moreover, the chicken lacked tenderness and didn’t seem fresh. The Chilly Chicken were decent but far from exceptional, it was served on the bone which is usually not the case elsewhere. Ambiance: The initial vibe is pleasant, but the atmosphere becomes dull after a while. The unusually tall table heights make dining challenging, particularly for families with kids. Service: Service left much to be desired. The staff seemed more focused on pushing starters, often delaying the main course. During the meal, it was difficult to find servers when needed, which disrupted the overall dining experience. Overall: The Appam was the only redeeming feature in an otherwise underwhelming experience. With overly spicy food, inconsistent service, and ambiance challenges, there’s room for improvement to align with the name’s reputation and the high pricing.

Very disappointing. Their breakfast is better than their dinner. It looks great but once you eat it you regret it. Not cooked with love or passion at all. Too much salt and not so fresh. So sad indeed.

Good food served here, their menu includes different good dishes. Also vegetarians can find different choices. Beverages is normal nothing special to highlight. Quality of meat is good. The environment is quite and nice. The thing l didn't like is that alcohol is served same place with other food (i.e. No separate section)

Greeted by Valet at the lobby, restaurant is conveniently located near the reception counter. Got good service from the servers, since we had pre booked the tables. This was our 1st time at the restaurant and the service and food was definitely up to the mark.

One of the finest dine-in in oman for Modern Indian Cuisine, the place is maintained elegantly with experienced and polite staff. Now when coming to the menu it’s well designed with selected dishes not to confuse the clients. They have sections in the menu like small bites, soup and salads, must have’s, dessert and big bites section. In actual you don’t have to order the dish, you can just take the pad with items on it, mark it and you can call the waiter they will prepare it and server you. All in all, mesmerizing dine in experience with tasty food and amazing ambience. It’s very pleasant and you can have great time with your family with great food in your plate. I can say that the pricing is on above moderate to high and compared to food and ambience, the price seems very okay!!!

I’ve been for two times for dinner, always very delicious food. I found this restaurant one of the best Indian food restaurant I had. The location is very elegant and comfortable. The service is fast, I discovered also an Indian beer very good as I like. The price should be ok but they have to charge several taxes. From the moment you walk in, everything about this restaurant resonates around mediocrity. When we got there it was relatively empty, yet there was nobody to greet us at the door, which is strange to witness at an establishment portraying itself as upscale. Either they are severely understaffed, or the service team just aren't as bothered with being attentive towards their guests. It took quite a while for us to actually have someone approach our table with a menu. It seems an endemic problem too - the diners on table next to us had to exit the table, quite annoyed, and approach the wait staff themselves and question them why nobody was attending to them at all, seeing as approximately 15 minutes had passed since they sat down at their table! Food takes an absolute age to reach the table. Our appetizers took about 35 minutes to be served. Even simple mocktails took upto 25 minutes to get ready and be served to us. Having never seen this before, I decided to question the staff about this, to which their answer was verbatim - "it's a complicated cocktail to make". It really wasn't, but I chose to let it go. The entrees took exactly an hour to reach us, which is exceptionally poor considering we'd just ordered 2 main courses, one of which was just daal. Coupled with the fact that the food in itself was utterly ordinary and nothing to write home about, an all encompassing feeling of regret was the only thing we left that restaurant with after hastily asking for the check. There was one extremely apologetic staff member who was speaking with us towards the end, and he even comped one of the drinks we ordered which really wasn't good at all (the one with the complicated recipe). But real questions must be asked of executive management and the restaurant manager, who was not really visible during the entire time. It seems as though the staff have been left to their own devices without effective leadership. Even the kitchen seemed understaffed if I'm perfectly honest, considering the massive waiting times for relatively simple to prepare food. I'd say absolutely avoid until they get their act together.

I have just one word to describe my experience, it was absolutely "Beautiful". Had the best food and an amazing hospitality service from Priti and Ashwani. A special mention to them for their wonderful demeanor in ensuring his guests are enjoying a wonderful time and took time out to ensure that we were comfortable. Our favourite Indian Restaurant in Muscat. We had the Saturday lunch option which is a sensible and sustainable alternative to a buffet lunch as there is minimal food wastage. The food on offer is freshly made, beautifully presented and very tasty. It took only a few minutes to get to the table and anything can be ordered again as often as you like. With a very reasonable price tag of 14 OMR for soft drinks combo and 19 OMR for the stronger one, this lunch is fantastic value with impeccable and very friendly service. A great treat!

Am a sushi lover and honestly didn’t find the sushi made here that good. Sushi raw material doesn’t seem to be fresh at all. Price are over compared to what you get with the food quality. Staff are so friendly, nice and served us with a smile. Thank you 🙏🏻

Do NOT order delivery for the rolls. The salmon on my salmon wrap came all brown colored instead of pink/orange. It was completely slimy/watery on the bottom too. I chucked it. I live in Al Mouj so the drive was short. But they put a bag of ice on top of the sushi box, presumably to keep it cool. Good in theory. But I think that cold contact was what destroyed the roll. Either that or they’re serving old salmon. Do pick up instead. Also I dined in here once and the order took 30 minutes to prepare despite us being the only ones in the shop. I asked if it would look just like the picture and the waiter said yes. But the sushi came out drenched in some sauce even though the picture showed it as completely dry. Tasted sour.

Tired on 29 March 2025, Ramadan Buffet. We are Pakistanis and now the original taste. Overpriced! OMR 7.35/head Extremely disappointed, food wasn’t good enough. Not much items Iftar counter was filled mostly, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes , etc, (all as separate dish) Reshmi kabab were not fresh looked like reheated from the fridge. Malai boti also similar wasn’t fresh at all. No mutton/lamb item except the ribs. Meat was tender but the lamb smell was strong. Biryani was average, Chicken Karahi was way too spicy. Beef nihari was above average. I don’t recommend at all, there are plenty of other restaurants have better food and ambiance. We are never going there again.

We were on our road trip to Muscat from Abu Dhabi, glad to find that bbq tonite has a branch here. All our excitement went down the drain when we experienced the worst food ever which was more like remains from the lunch buffet or may be day before and re-fried items. Very disappointed to see such kind of quality from bbq tonite. Bbq Tonite Management should take strict action and if cannot improve the quality then better to close this branch.

We visited the place for dinner. The ambiance is good. There was a buffet option. We preferred to order. Their bread is fresh and tasty. The corn soup with the additional sauces was awesome. I'm not a palak paneer fan. The ginger chicken was the best so far. Lahori fish was also tasty with the raita and fries👍 waiters were friendly and always available👍

Assorted bread is not available. They brought the bread when we are done with the food. Not value of money. Very highly overpriced and nothing is served. Whatever we ask they told its finish. How can you charge us full amount of buffet when you are not serving the complete menu with a slow service. I would not recommend anyone to go there low quality food.

Dont go there…. No Air Conditioner at all. I have visited last year and now two times but there Air Conditioners were not working. michaela at chow mee was the best - always accomodating - fit us in last minute when we forgot to make reservations. she was also at the beach hotel and made our stay very comfortable. she was so friendly and had a smiling face even when the restaurant is busy she was able to deal with every situation calmly. all her staff seem to love her- she is true hard working credit to the hotel. special mention to suhail who cleaned our room and stocked everything up with water bottles. the room was spotless everyday - amazing suhail and always greeting us with a smile. dawud in pool was so friednly moving my phone incase it fell in the pool - found shiny sea shellls from the beach to give my kids. always attentive friendly amazing and so was sangeeth the lifeguard. always checking on my kids when swimming and vigilant, smiling and friendly. incredible service also from murthi making us the best dosa ever at breakfast- didnt even have to ask as soon as he sees our faces he knows what to make us everyday - best chef ever.then shintai went out of her way to get us a late checkout - smiling / happy to help- no task too small for her.we made lasting friends at shangri la- bit far from town centre but the ambiance of the incredible beach and the people who work here make it well worth the stay. we will be returning very soon. facilities are amazing -

Fantastic trip to this resort. All amenities included, amazing food and drink (incl. alcohol), cannot fault the service, staff and options. It's out of the way in a private bay, so trips into town have to be organised by taxi/car/bus, which was not a problem. They have an ATM to take out OR in the lobby (handy) and a small shopping mall for gifts and souvenirs as well. Pool with a 'lazy river' and access to the beach with life guards. Breakfast selection was also amazing. Rooms are generous and air conditioned, we had a balcony. Place is incredibly clean, no problems with bugs etc. There is a towel service for the pool and a pool bar with very decent food and drink options, too. It can get a bit chaotic with drinks ordering during dinner but all relaxed.

We’re currently staying at Shangri-La Al Waha and absolutely love it! The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and so kind with our baby – families are truly welcomed here. The food is excellent, always fresh and varied, and the service in the restaurants is outstanding. The whole resort is beautiful and perfectly maintained, with lovely gardens, great pools, and a calm beach – ideal for relaxing. We’re really enjoying our time here and feel completely at home. Highly recommended for families!

We were really looking forward to ending our amazing trip to Oman at Al Waha, but the experience was a real letdown. Despite requesting a quiet room well in advance, we were told at check-in (shortly before 3 p.m., although check-in officially starts at 2 p.m.) that our room wasn’t ready. We were offered a ground-floor room right by the pool — probably the noisiest spot in the resort. On the first day, when we asked to be changed to a quieter room, we were told the hotel was full, and although staff promised to follow up via WhatsApp, no one ever did. Over the five days of our stay, nobody checked back with us — it felt like they simply didn’t care. The rooms feel dated, the showers leak and make the bathroom floor dangerously slippery, and the dinner buffet — at €55–60 per person — was mediocre and repetitive. Pool towels were stained, and litter (pizza boxes, plastic bottles, even used diapers) was often left lying around for hours before being cleared. On a positive note, the housekeeping team and the pool-bar staff were genuinely friendly and helpful — they were the bright spots of our stay. For the price charged, this place simply doesn’t deliver. You’ll find far better quality, cleanliness, and service for half the price at other hotels like the Crowne Plaza.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the spa service at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the tranquil atmosphere and the professional staff who made me feel completely at ease. The spa’s design perfectly blends Omani culture with modern luxury, offering a peaceful and elegant environment. The aroma of essential oils and the soothing background music created an ideal setting for relaxation. After the treatment, I enjoyed a cup of herbal tea while overlooking the beautiful garden and the sea. It was a wonderful moment of calm and rejuvenation.

Had a wonderful week stay with a company of friends. Although there were some bad couple of days all in all it was incredible and definitely unforgettable stay. My wife and I had an absolutely phenomenal 5-day stay at the Radisson Hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—impeccable cleanliness, top-notch facilities like the stunning pool, relaxing spa, and well-equipped gym, to the delicious breakfast and exceptional dining at the restaurant. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly pampered. I honestly can’t find a single fault; I’m puzzled why it’s rated 4 stars because, in my opinion, this hotel is a perfect 5-star gem!

I stayed in Raddison for two weeks. I had a very good time and it’s located in a very convenient place for shopping and Resturents are very close by. Also they have a wonderful set of employees, especially the Receptionists, pool attendants and room makers are very friendly and helpful. It is recommended.

this is a very nice affordable hotel in muscat. the beds are very comfy however we have had problems with the sockets next to the bed. the breakfast was really nice and they make fresh omelettes when requested and bring to the table. there is a wide range of variety of foods. most of the staff were accommodating however we did find one of the reception people were not as welcoming as expected given oman is known for hospitality. the pool is clean and lot of seating for everyone. the only other thing i can comment on is the location, there isn’t much nearby aside from a few shops, the tourist attractions are around 10mins+ out in car and like an hour walking.

I`ve been working Africa & Arabia west to east, from Liberia to Oman, and north to south, from Maroc to S.A. and stayed in many places but Radison Blu Hotel in Muscat is top of the list, for sure! We spent the last days of our Oman trip at this awesome Radisson Hotel, and it was truly the perfect ending to our journey. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are immediately impressed by the huge lobby with its stylish lounge areas and welcoming check-in desks. The atmosphere gives you a feeling of comfort and elegance right away. Check-in was completed in just a few minutes by the wonderful staff. The check-in agent, Asme, greeted us with a warm smile, patiently answered all our questions, and assisted us throughout our stay. It’s rare to meet someone so attentive and kind — thank you for being so friendly to us! To our delight, we were upgraded to a larger room and given access to the Executive Lounge. This was a fantastic bonus, as the lounge is a great place to relax, enjoy drinks (including alcoholic ones), have snacks, and sample an excellent selection of food during the evening hours. The atmosphere there was calm and welcoming, perfect for unwinding after exploring Muscat. It was in the lounge that we met another wonderful member of the Radisson team — Ezra. We had lovely conversations with her about Oman, her home country, traveling the world, and shared a few laughs along the way. She also provided us with truly exceptional service and made us feel at home. Meeting people like her is one of the reasons we love travel so much. We truly hope to meet her again someday. 😊

We had a wonderful time at the Grand Hormuz Hotel in Muscat. The hotel is very pleasant, and the staff are very attentive. Special thanks to Rayhan and Moumita for taking such good care of our room. Very average stay. Service was inconsistent — some staff were really warm and helpful, while others felt quite mechanical. The hotel itself looks a bit dated and could use some renovation. Doesn’t really feel like a five-star property. Location is convenient if you need to be close to the airport, but it’s about a 20-minute drive from most of the main sights. Would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Valet was quick to attend as well as staff to assist with our belongings. Concierge had light aura and accommodating. Room was more than adequately spacious. Wifi (low speed + high speed - ask for access code if you have multiple devices -lags sometimes) Housekeeping staff were on point. Buffet food was very good and better than some of hotels we stayed at. Location was well situated. Infinity pool was a surprise touch - definitely adds value.

Fantastic stay at Mövenpick Ghala. Easy access and parking if you have a car. Fantastic breakfast with impeccable service which exceeds many other even top-tier Hotels in the Gulf region. Nice pool staff, however it would be nice if the pool had longer hours in the evening. The gym is basic but well looked after, it could use more weights and maybe 1-2 additional machines for legs. We stayed 2 nights - 11/10 and 18/10. First stay we found the staff very helpful especially in the steak restaurant. Atif is an asset to this hotel. The executive lounge could improve their breakfast which consisted of noodles and overcooked boiled eggs. Not good. 2nd stay after check in we used the pool which was very nice. However after ordering a bottle of wine and putting it on our room, we were made to go to reception to pay for the wine even though we were in swim wear. Totally unacceptable. Further the pool staff were rearranging the pool side tables and chairs around guests who were still using the pool area making them feel uncomfortable and “in the way”. Perhaps this was to save staff time but it’s not a good look. Further if you use the Otaxi be aware that the hotel does not allow them to pull up outside reception. You have to walk to Al Ma’Aridh Street which isn’t good with luggage. The taxis the hotel allow are a lot more expensive.

I was impressed when the driver pulled up to the hotel. And speaking of driver, Vijay the concierge, arranged all the rides weeks in advance. So when my father and I arrived, they greeted me by name and made me feel so welcomed. Immediately, they told me that I could eat dinner. The hotel has four restaurants, I believe. A steakhouse for sure. But I only ate in the main ig dining area where buffet meals are served. We got the half board option, which I highly recommend. Both breakfast and dinner are covered, so you can do your daytime activity away from the hotel and eat some place local. Plus, it’s not an expensive add on. But going back to the service—top tier. I was afraid I wouldn’t find anything to do or enough to do or trustworthy people to take me to do anything. The concierge team took care of everything, arranging for a private tour to the desert and the oasis at Wadi Bin Khalid. And for a city tour that was supposed to begin at 9, they called the tour operator repeatedly to make sure that we weren’t forgotten; and we didn’t even ask them to do it. The service workers in the restaurant were fantastic. They treated us with so much respect and just did small things that went so far. For instance, one saw my father and me in wooden chairs while the restaurant was empty, so he brought over more comfortable seats — and we didn’t even ask or complain. It’s just their thoughtfulness. The room is nice. Typical hotel room but you do get a separate tub from walk in shower. And plenty of outlets where you don’t need a Type G adapter. Finally, the location is good. But not perfect. It’s very close to the hotel — seven minutes. But you can’t really walk anywhere. Plus, the main sites are further away. I recommend this place!!! You will love how special they make you feel.

Worst Pakistani taste for food you can experience in this restaurant. We ordered kheema and paratha was not up to any mark. The restaurant says Pakistani restaurant. But no Pakistani taste at all. Prices are high but zero quality. Kheema taste doesnot taste like authentic Pakistani kheema. We were charged 2.6 just small kheema and 2 paratha.Never recommend to visit again for this restaurant for sure.

As a regular customer Meerath always has been a wonderful Pakistani restaurant. It has now expanded its seating, warm lighting, & further improved its services after the pandemic. I've always received extra respect from the staff here everytime I visit. That is really heart-warming. In addition to that, the service is very efficient & professional as always. Hats off to their waiters & service as its the best you can get from such a reasonable restaurant. Keep up the good work🤝 The food taste has changed a bit after the hit of pandemic, however it is still delicious though. This has been our regular weekend spot & we always left happy & stuffed.

Went for a breakfast on our trip to Muscat. Mann, i havent eaten such halwa puri with completely pakistani flavour since a long time now untill I came here. Very good Puri, suji halwa and the channa tarkari was also amazing. Chai was good too at the end. Overall loved this place and the cost was also affordable and not too expensive.

It was nice experience, we went on Eid day and it was closed. Secondly food was quick and nice and taste was Pakistani. BBQ was alright, buryani was nice, karahi is not typical but just cooked so if you are karahi fan then don’t expect something good. And serving is for 3 person only full plate. They have majlis and seating area and it’s good place for families.

Meerath Al Khuwair is definitely worth checking out. While the food is on the expensive side, the portion sizes more than make up for it. Their kebabs and karahi are standout options — full of flavor and cooked just right. My personal favorite is the mutton pulao (or even just the plain pulao rice) — always satisfying. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely a must-visit spot to try something new.

Had an amazing experience at Salt and Pepper. The food was delicious—I tried the beef lasagna and supreme pizza, and both were absolutely on point. The lasagna was rich and cheesy, and the pizza had the perfect balance of toppings and a great crust. Big shoutout to Anitta, my waiter—she was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and will be coming back to!

Good Quality food fresh seafood used the service was good and the staff were friendly one note we didn't like was, this place was listed in the entertainer app to use one main menu item with 2nd free When we entered they happily greeted us and told us that yes we can use the app as advertised on any main menu item, however when we started ordering they kept telling us that no this item although is a main menu item but not part of the offer, this happened at least with 6 items, turns out they were limiting the offer to the bear minimum of the cheapest items from the main menu, which in turn reflects badly on them, and hopefully through this review my voice reaches the management. especially since the restaurant is in a respected hotel, and if they wanted to do these things they either remove themselves from such apps, or re-tune which offers to be available, rather than have customers arrive with misguided advertisement.

We had a great time for lunch with Nefisa and Anita. They’re Excellent servers. The chicken briyani was delicious and the seafood platter is actually the best thing here!

We had pleasant stay in Mysk, and had 2 days breakfast from salt and pepper. Good food, staffs were friendly specially Mr. Naveen.

A nice place with a spectacular open terrace. The terrace houses all the amenities that include well equipped gyms for both men and women, a fairly large sized swimming pool, children's play area, seating areas, table tennis area and a multi purpose hall. The view of the city from the terrace is breathtaking and I have never seen a view like this elsewhere in Muscat. There are lovely flowering plants all along the parapet. The two bedroom apartments are slightly small and the kitchen is really tiny. But the convenient location and the terrace more than makes up for the size.

It's an amazing place to live with rooftop walking area and pool. The only problem is that the caretakers always have an excuse not to help us. They don't hear us on the phone...They can't read whatsapp messages but if you call them, you don't understand each other due to language barriers. When they promise something, they never keep it. They have been consistantly lying about their working hours for a year. If you write an official maintanance email, nothing happens.

I am a regular customer for all bubble tea stores. Today I have passed through the shop in grand mall and I was surprised with the poor customer service 1. The guy was inside and we had to call him to come out 2. The toppings were not displayed for me to choose. I first asked for mixed jelly and he told me they don’t have . I had to ask for it twice to serve me! I believe booba has a variety of flavors which makes it very special. But these kind of acts will only disturb the customer and they might not come again I appreciate if you look closely at the customer service in grand mall The time in picture I attached was 7:50 ! It was empty as if they are closed!!!

Best taro milk tea in town. It’s creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. So far we’ve had the regular, taro, coffee and chocolate all of which are good. Their packaging is very cute as well.

I suggest the place, Milky flavours is a good to go for hunger (heavy and delicious) with chewy booba, Crushing fruit flavours are so good after a meal and light and tasty. -Customer Service was very good, a very friendly person (details were clear). -Price: Fair -Package: Really good -Taste: Magical I do recomend the place.

Taro flavor with tapioca bubble is great experience of taste but it will be more nice if this like smoothies in my opinion especially if people like frappe they will be more excited in this… 😊

We ordered classic milk tea boba and taro boba tea online. The milk tea boba was pretty watery, but the taro boba was really good. I wish the plastic cups were less fragile though

Had anniversary dinner at this restaurant. Made a very last minute booking via phone, felt very welcomed and the service from the main door to the table was spectacular. Thanks to Mr Mani the restaurant supervisor for making it feel so special. Kudos to the chef because as a Malaysian, the Laksa and Fried Rice taste made me and hubby felt close to home. Definitely coming back soon.

A fantastic seafood buffet with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options. From local prawns and lobsters to expertly prepared Mahi Mahi and Hamour dishes, every bite was a treat. The experience was absolutely worth it, especially with the drinks package. Let’s not talk about the desert 🤩 The staff were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!

Mandarin Restaurant – Muscat: A Letdown Despite the Ambiance Mandarin restaurant in Muscat offers a good ambiance, setting the stage for what could have been a great dining experience. However, the food fell below expectations, making it an underwhelming visit. The flavors and overall quality didn’t justify a return trip. While the atmosphere is pleasant, if you’re looking for a place where both ambiance and food shine, this may not be the best choice.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I had booked a table at Rawya Restaurant well in advance for a special New Year’s Day lunch with my family. My children were visiting from overseas, and we were all looking forward to starting the year together with a memorable meal. However, just 30 minutes before our reservation, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that our booking was being canceled because they were “full.” This was beyond unacceptable. My family was already dressed and ready to go, and the short notice left us scrambling to find an alternative at the last minute on a busy holiday. It’s baffling how a restaurant can overbook or fail to honor confirmed reservations, especially on a day as significant as New Year’s. A place like Rawya, which presumably prides itself on hospitality, needs to seriously reconsider how they handle reservations. Cancelling on guests at the last moment, especially for an occasion like this, is not just unprofessional but shows a complete lack of respect for their patrons’ time and plans. Unfortunately, this experience has left a sour impression, and I would hesitate to recommend Rawya to anyone looking for reliability and good service.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I could honestly leave the review at that, and that as they say would be that. But, let me detail some of what I thought was great about Rawya. To begin, the service was wonderful. From the person who greeted us, to those who waited on us, and even to the on-floor manager who brought us the special dessert, we were absolutely spoiled by the staff that works there. The food? Great variety, and very tasty. The buffet was so good, I quite literally had a mountain of different dishes on one plate. It was almost like I was scared the food was going to disappear from the serving pots they were in. The Omani shuwa that day, along with the turkey were just too good for regular comprehension. They had Wagyu beef as well, and even though it was a buffet, they had different preparations available (i.e. Well-done, or medium). Even the salads were great! You quite literally are spoiled for taste. The desserts? Sweet. Rich, and sweet. They had a station where Omani halwa was cooked in front of you, and another where Omani Bread (Khubz Rakhal) was made with cheese and halwa as well. You had an ice-cream station, and just a labyrinth of choices! My only gripe would be the absence of the Choco-Choco dessert from their cake shop in the lobby, I was genuinely hoping to see it there. Maybe next time? Who knows. The place itself? The pictures will hopefully help illustrate that, and become my 1000 words I think. The place is beautiful. Winter weather truly is a blessing for outdoors setup, because thankfully, it is not painfully cold. Definitely going to visit this place again, and I sincerely hope they maintain this wonderful high standard that they set for themselves.

I really recommend dining in for dinner at Rawya Restaurant. It's one of the best places for seafood! They also have delicious grilled chicken and Turkish chicken. Their desserts are very nice too. I highly recommend it!

I rarely ever write bad reviews but unfortunately this is one of those times. We had booked the brunch buffet for Eid Al Adha at 12:30, which is when we were told it would start. 15 minutes before the time we receive a call by Rawya where we are informed that actually the brunch will commence at 1 however we are welcome to come in and be accommodated with drinks until the buffet is served. When we got to the restaurant, we were not let in and were asked to wait upstairs in the lobby, which would have been fine if we were told this from the start. Not just that, we were also told in a very rude manner that the issue was from our end because we booked at 12:30 but the brunch starts at 1 and this has nothing to do with the restaurant. Regardless of whether the restaurant deals with a third party in relation to the booking system, this has nothing to do with us and the system needs to be in line with restaurant timings. To be told that this is on us is unacceptable and very impolite. Because of this treatment I will be very hesitant to come here ever again, which is a shame given the beautiful space.
